Good evening and welcome to another edition of What's Right, What's Left on this fifth day of May, 2024.

And the title of my message tonight is Paid in Full or Paid to Fool. And I'm going to do some reading from the Trumpet newsletter, and it's about the hopelessness which is plaguing America today. But as Christians, those of us that are truly born again, those of us that truly believe the Word of God, the last thing in the world that we should, the last emotion we should have would be one of hopelessness. Because we have that precious hope. And so here, which is really that hope there is not just a hope, it's we have a guarantee. As Christians, we have the Word of God that we are heading towards. Eternal glory. We're heading towards something far beyond, far beyond an eternity, far beyond anything that we can even imagine. And so, folks, as we, I'm going to start from this post and then go into what God's Word the Bible has to say. So here is the Pew Research Poll found that two-thirds of Americans believe that America will become even economically weaker, less important on the world stage, and much more divided.

Well, I don't know how much more divided we could become. This was in a March 4th, 2024 Fortune Magazine article. Now, this, folks, is exactly, it's exactly what Barack Obama, the Dark Prince, George Soros, the Antichrist, Joe Biden, Communist Party, what the biblically illiterate, unsaved, simple-minded, Marxist, indoctrinated, democratic Communist Party. This was exactly their goal, trying to bring people to the point where they felt that they had no hope, that their will to resist would be gone.

This has always been the goal of the Communist Party. And with that, I'm going to read this article. It's a very good article out of the Trumpet newsletter.

And it goes this way. Why so gloom, America? On March 4th, 2024, Fortune Magazine published an article with a bleak declaration. The United States of America is suffering from a hopeless crisis. The report cites a study from Pew Research which found that two-thirds of Americans believe America will become economically weaker, less important in the world, and more politically divided. And by the year 250, it was also noted that a Wall Street Journal survey found that nearly 80% of Americans do not expect life for their children's generation to be better than it has been for our own generation.

The American people are stressed out, anxious, and worried about the future. Consequently, more people than ever before are suffering from mental health issues. In May 2023, Gallup reported that 17.8% of adults in the United States are suffering from clinical depression, and 29% of adults have suffered from clinical depression at some point in their lives. Another study released in February 2024 found that one in five adolescents suffer from depression or anxiety.

Due to the prevalence of clinical depression and other mental health concerns, the use of antidepressant medications has skyrocketed, increasing by 64% since 2020, now among teens and adults age 25 and under. According to the latest iteration of the World Happiness Report, the population of the United States is growing increasingly unhappy. Well, you know, the Democrats in power, when while the report from 2023 ranked the U.S. as the 15th happiest country in the world, recently released 2024 report ranked the United States as only 23rd the happiest country in the world. The study found that young people in America are especially downcast. Amongst those age 30 and under, the United States is rated as only the 62nd happiest country in the world. In campaign and comparing generations, those born from 1965 are on average happier than those born since 1980. Among millennials, evaluation of one's own life drops with each year of age, while among boomers, life satisfaction increases with age. The report states, there is no question that the population at large is feeling demoralized.

Why is this happening? Is this issue of the last trumpet? We will examine some of the factors contributing to the crisis of hopelessness. One news article from another is proclaiming that, or after another, proclaiming that the American dream is dead or dying. On August 17th, 2023, Newsweek declared the American dream is dead for us working-class Americans. A few months later, Axios reported Americans think that the American dream is dying. More recently, The Guardian reported on March 2nd, 2024, that the majority of renters in the United States say they do not think they will be able to own a home. The Guardian piece cites a study conducted by Harris Poll, which found that 57 percent of the respondents said the American dream of owning a home is dead. Sixty-two percent respondents said my area has become so unaffordable, it's barely livable. And 65 percent said my rent and mortgage is the number one reason I can't financially get ahead. Libby Rodney, who is chief strategist officer at Harris Poll, was quoted as saying, when you think that Maslow's hierarchy of needs is dead, think that Maslow's hierarchy of needs enhouses right at the foundational level of society the implications or consumer psyche when things feel so unaffordable is something that will impact everyone. Indeed, a roof over our heads is one of the most basic necessities of life.

Yet, it is a need that has become difficult to fulfill in the post-pandemic inflation-driven world. In fact, the cost of housing has gotten so outrageous in New York City that a real estate agent recently offered a tiny 115 square foot apartment. Folks, that's very, very small.

Very, very small. That's like a laundry closet for rent in Manhattan. This tiny room, 115 square foot apartment, which has no bathroom and barely enough room for a bed, was offered for $1,200 a month. According to New York Times, one quarter of renters in the United States spend more than half of their income on housing. To make matters worse, a growing number of Americans cannot afford housing at all. PBS News, however, reported that the homelessness has risen 12% since January 2022.

It had reached the highest level ever recorded in December 2023. For many who are blessed enough to have a home, it's difficult to make ends meet. According to a report published by a lending club in September 2023, more than 60% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Furthermore, a shocking report published in November 2023 reveals that the typical American household must now spend a whopping $11,434 more per year in order to maintain the same standard of living enjoyed in January of 2021.

That, of course, is a steep rise in the three years, and I would venture to guess that most households in the United States are not earning $11,000 more per year than they were in 2021. As such, many families are using credit cards to maintain their way of life. As a result, credit card debt topped $1 trillion for the first time in 2023, and by February 24, 2024, that debt had risen to a record-breaking $1.13 trillion.

Even though $1 trillion is a credit card debt, it's a staggering number to wrap your brain around. The unfortunate truth is that it is only going to keep climbing from here. Americans are still struggling with a lingering inflation and rising interest rates, forcing them to lean on credit cards more and more, said Matt Schultz, chief credit analyst at Lending Tree. As credit card debt continues to break news records, other expenses are putting pressure on consumers, too.

In February 2024, it was reported that the average payment for a new car is $738 per month and $532 per month for used cars. Meanwhile, food prices are said to be up 25% since 2020, but most of us can say from experience that many items have risen in costs far more than 25%. Even the cost of fast food is surging tremendously. The notoriously unhealthy quick, easy, and greasy meals from likes of McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's have long been considered a budget-friendly option. Yet in this strange time that we live in, a burger and fries and your favorite fast food chain might cost you as much as a steak dinner at a restaurant would have cost just a few years ago. On March 24, 2024, The Today Show covered the outrage and surfaced on social media after one user posted his receipt for a meal consisting of a bacon cheeseburger, a regular drink, a small order of fries, and the total for this ordinary meal was $21.91. In a similar story, the outrage ensued after there was revealed that on January 2024, that a McDonald's restaurant in Derry, Connecticut was charging $18 for a Big Mac combo meal. It should be noted that prices varied in locations and regions, but there's no question that prices are rising nationwide, especially true in the state of California, where the minimum wage for fast food workers is set to rise to $20 per hour.

On April 1, 2024, chains such as McDonald's and Chipotle have already raised their menu prices in anticipation of the increased labor cost. I can recall shopping at Dollar Tree many times when I was a boy. One of my favorite things about shopping at the discount retailer was knowing that every item I bought would be $1 each. In 2021, Dollar Tree raised its base price from $1.25 and a short time later began selling some items for $5 each. Now the retailer is raising prices again. This year, across 3,000 stores, we expect to expand our multi-price assortment of over 300 items at price points ranging from $1.50 to $7, said Dollar Tree CEO Rick Dreehling on March 13th. Some might wonder if perhaps Dollar Tree should change its name, although $7 Tree doesn't quite have the same ring to it. Remarkably, the fastest growing segment of the population of shopping at Dollar Tree is families who make more than $125,000 per year.

Eventually, even higher income families are feeling the pinch these days and are turning to discount stores. The American people have held a record $17.5 trillion in debt last year. Thus, the personal debt of the United States citizen is about half the size of the entire national death, which now exceeds an astonishing $34 trillion. Both the people of the United States and the U.S. government are curing gobs of debt and it is unlikely that the trend will be reversed anytime soon. It is interesting to note that the American national debt surpassed $1 trillion for the first time in October 23, 1981. It estimated that by 2026, the interest paid annually to the service national debt will exceed $1 trillion.

In the United States continues to acquire debt at such a staggering rate. The day will come when the whole system collapses like a house of cards. If this happens, the world will look for answers. Could it be that there will be a charismatic individual that nearly everyone adores who claims to have all the answers? In Matthew 20-24, Jesus warns us, for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and show great signs and wonders, insomuch as if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. One of these false Christs will be compelling the masses to worship Him as a God.

The apostle Paul writes in 2 Thessalonians 2, 3, and 4, Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except they come a falling away first, and that falling away first and that falling away has taken place. And that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalting himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he is God, seteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. I believe one of the reasons people will be so drawn to this man of sin, sometimes called the antichrist, is because he will offer to forgive their debts, everyone s debt. One of the core tenets of Christianity is that Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins on the cross of Calvary, and in so doing paid a debt that we could not pay. Thus it follows the devil s imposter, the son of perdition, will also offer to remove debt that cannot be paid.

There would be paid, there would be no debt, no strings attached, however likely in the form of a mark of the right hand or the forehead. And so here I would like to start tonight in Jeremiah chapter 18. And here as we go, we start with verse 1. Now the word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord saying, Arise and go down to the potter s house and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Now it was interesting because a lot of that society was surrounded by pottery. Pottery was a main function in so much of the society in that day there.

It was a major industry. Then I went down to the potter s house and behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. That s what they called the potter s wheel. And the vessel that he made of the clay was marred, that means it was ruined, in the hand of the potter so that he made it again, another vessel that seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the Lord came to me saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter, saith the Lord, behold, as the clay is in the potter s hand, so are you in mine hand, O house of Israel. At what instant I shall speak concerning the nation and concerning the kingdom, to pluck up and to pull down and to destroy it. If that nation against whom I have pronounced turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning the nation and concerning the kingdom to build and to plan it. If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good wherewith I said and I would benefit them.

That word there actually means I would relent from that. Now, therefore, go to speak to the man of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the Lord, behold, I frame evil against you, and a device, a device against your return, returning now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good. And they say, There is no hope, but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his own heart.

That s exactly what s happening in America today, and that s exactly what s happening in Israel today. Therefore, thus saith the Lord, Ask you now among the heathen, Who hath heard such things the virgin of Israel hath done, a very horrible thing. Well, Israel was supposed to be a pure virgin of the Lord, the wife of God, but instead of the wife of God, the Bible refers to it now as Israel as a whore, Israel as a whore. I will, will a man leave the snow of Lebanon, which commited from the rock of the field, or the cold, flowing waters that came from another place, be forsaken? Because my people have forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient past to the ancient past, to the ancient past, to the walking paths in a way not cast out, to make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing, every one that passes thereby shall be astonished and wag his head. I will scatter them, as with an east wind, before the enemy.

I will show them the back and not the face in the day of their calamity. Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah. For the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet.

Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words. Give heed to me, O Lord, and hear and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me. Now, you know, we often, a lot of times when we pray imprecatory prayers on this radio program, we get two responses.

Most of the responses are very positive, saying that they need to do that. If only more people, if only the majority of the people out there would pray these imprecatory prayers. God answers prayers.

He answers prayers. And if the cause is a righteous cause, now here we re going to see Jeremiah within a imprecatory prayer. Those prissy preachers out there today, when they hear a prayer like this, well, they get their little bloomers all in a bunch. And so here now we read, Shall evil be recompensed for good, for they have dignified for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak before, to speak good for them, and to turn away the wrath from them. Well, in other words, Jeremiah was prophesizing judgment instead of comfort to the men of Israel. And they turned against him, and instead of to the Lord, they turned away from. So God warned Jeremiah that this would happen. In fact, he did it actually right in the very first chapter of Jeremiah 1. And so now here what happened was the princes, or they were literally the legislators of that day, said, Look, Jeremiah, we want to hear positive preaching. We have nothing to repent of, Jeremiah.

We are God s chosen people. There will never be a foreign army coming through the gates of Jerusalem. Well, Jeremiah said, You don t know how wrong you are. Okay, the Chaldeans are coming, the Babylonians, and guess what? They re going to seize this place and they re going to bring you into captivity.

And so what did they do? They didn t want to hear this, like today. So many out there don t want to hear preachers preaching against sin. They say, Why don t you just like others preach a positive message?

You don t have to. When you preach against sin, it just makes us feel bad. It makes us feel bad. I had a guy tell me, You know, I d like to listen to you, but when you preach against sin, you know, we re all sinners, and it just makes us feel bad.

It makes us feel guilty. I d rather hear a preacher telling us about all the things that God wants to do for us, like the prosperity preachers. Well, I m called to preach the whole Gospel.

And folks, that s exactly what I m going to do. Nobody preached against sin more than Jesus. Therefore, deliver up their children. This is the imprecatory prayer that Jeremiah is preaching. Deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the swords. And let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows. And let their men be put to death. Let their young men be slain by the sword in the battle. Let a cry be heard from their houses, when thou shalt bring a troop suddenly upon them, for they have digged a pit to take me, and hid snares from my feet. Yes, Lord, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay me. Forgive not their iniquity, neither plot out their sins from the sight, but let them be overthrown before they deal thus with them in the time of thine anger. Well, the Lord did exactly everything that Jeremiah asked He did there. You see, Jeremiah prayed against the wicked because his cause was a righteous cause. God is immutable, folks.

His ways never, ever change. Both Israel and America could be saved if only they had the intelligence to learn from the past, just as they were to. And these days, as in Israel, they were so full of themselves, too full of themselves to heed Jeremiah s warning.

They, alike, here in America, like the mainstream media, the apostate church, academia, the government, they all want to persecute those that are preaching the truth of God s word about repentance. They don t want to hear anything. They are willing to sacrifice children to win elections. That s why they use abortion as their number one issue they want to run in. Willing to sacrifice millions of children just to win.

Those are bloody people, very bloody people to win elections. They want to completely eliminate the nation of Israel. The false Jews, like Chuck Schumer today here, they hate God and Israel. Here in America, the false Christians hate God in America. I want to go over to a passage that s probably very familiar to many of you out there, and that s in Hosea chapter 4.

And we read this. Yeah, it s an interesting thing how daily America and Israel both have become so biblically illiterate and more so with each passing generation. Hear the word of the Lord, you children of Israel. Now, you can also put that you children of America because they re going America and Israel s going down the very same road right together. For the Lord had the controversy with the inhabitants of the land because there is no truth nor mercy nor knowledge of God in the land by swearing and lying and killing and stealing and committing adultery.

They break out and blood touches blood. Folks, that s the entire Democratic Communist Party platform right there, and you have now this so corrupt and not just in the media, but the judicial system. You ve got again, the Bible refers to them here as whores. It refers to them as whores. It says, My people ask counsel that their stocks and staff be declared unto them, for the spirit of whoredom hath caused them to err. And they ve gone whoredom.

That s exactly what the judicial system has done. Therefore shall the land mourn, and everyone that dwells therein shall languish with the beasts of the field and with the fowls of heaven. Yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

He s telling you, it s not SUVs, it s not oil that s destroying the environment. It s man s sin that s destroying the environment. It s man s sin. Yea, let no man strive nor reprove another, for thy people are as they that strive with the priests. In other words, he sent them real priests and prophets. You know, the priest s duty was to intercede before God on behalf of the people.

In other words, to go to the Lord and intercede and say this as the people. And then the prophet s job was to go to the people and say, Thus saith the Lord God. So he sent them legitimate priests and prophets, and they didn t want legitimate priests and prophets. They wanted to kill them, like they did with Jeremiah. Therefore shall thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.

The mother happens to be the nation of Israel. For my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because thou hast rejected knowledge. I will also reject thee, that thou should be no priest to me, seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, and I will also forget thy children. Well, here, you know, those, the born again believer, the church, the church, we are to be a royal priesthood. All Christianity is to be a royal priesthood. The office of the priesthood ended at Calvary.

But we are to be living stones, a royal priesthood. But the vast majority of those that have a profession of faith that claim to be Christians are not. They re not. And you can tell they never witness. They don t take a stand. Many of them, you know, that are professing Christians would vote for Democrats.

This is unbelievable. They, they see nothing wrong with everything that the Democratic Party, every single sin, which is every sin that they embrace. He goes on to say, and I will also forget thy children.

Well, can you believe what s happening? The children that survive abortion, many of them die now from fentanyl, and the ones that survive that, many of them commit suicide. Because a man s sin, it s because of the sin that people refuse to repent of. But the fact of it is, the vast majority of people that fill the pills of what are supposed to be churches are biblically illiterate. They re biblically illiterate. He goes on to say, as they were increased, so the sin against me, therefore I will change their glory into shame.

There s nothing that is not a better example than the prosperity movement. The richer these people get, the more blasphemous they become in the prosperity movement. They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity. In other words, they make a living off of talking to people, convincing the people for the sin.

You know, Al Sharpton, who is a perfect example of that, when he, he said that God s word of the Bible condones abortion. This man is an apostate, and I believe he s demon-possessed. This is, you know, here. And there shall be like people, like priests, I will punish them for their ways, and reward them for their doings.

In other words, he said, Look, so that s what you want. You reject my priests, you reject my prophets, you reject my word, you reject me. So I m going to send you priests and prophets that are every bit as corrupted even more so than you. For they shall eat and not have enough.

This is the prosperity church all the way. They shall commit whoredom, and shall not be increased, because they have left off to take heed to the Lord. Whoredom and wine and new wine take away thy heart. Well, I want to now go to Proverbs chapter 29. And in Proverbs chapter 29, we read three verses here. Verse 2, When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Well, we just read the articles out of the trumpet. The people are mourning. They re mourning now, because the economy is so bad.

It s too bad that that s not the reason. It s too bad that the people are mourning is because of 160 million babies killed by abortion, because of the sin, because of what is taking place with the children, with all of this, this thing called woke movement. Unbelievable what is taking place out there today. The young men, many of them have been feminized. The young women, so many of them are pursuing whoredom. Here we read, When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. The bloodthirsty hate the upright, but the just seek his soul.

Verse 16, When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increases, but the righteous shall see their fault. Now, the young men in America today are young men that are high school seniors and college age. They re trending now to the right.

They turn to the right. And that s because of the anti-male movement in the media and academia and government and the judicial. In other words, they re, instead of going to college, many more of them are now going to trade. And that s good. That s what we need. They re going to trade schools. And we need more carpenters and plumbers and welders.

And we certainly need a lot less lawyers. And so here, but we see that the young women are trending to the left. They re moving to the left. Now here, we see that those that are protesting Israel, those that are wanting to eliminate Israel, 80 percent of them are these college girls. And the reason are, according to psychologists, that they re the easiest, they re the most easiest to indoctrinate. And we see that. And we see what they re doing out there because they ve been promised to get higher grades, to get good grades, by going out and opposing God, and opposing God in the country.

And so here, it goes on. And here s what they re, now these people are overprivileged, way overprivileged. They don t deserve this country. They do not deserve this country that those before them fought and died for.

They don t deserve it. But they re demanding that either the colleges or the state provide them with the type of food that Muslims that s approved by Islam, they re demanding that they re provided the morning after pill because so many of them now, to recruit these males, these women use sex, these young girls, they use sex. Now, the kind of male, the kind of males, they re the kind of lowest form of human males.

I mean, you know, I don t know, you can say they re real losers. And I guess that would be it, these guys, what they re doing is for sex with these girls. And now they re also demanding that they get STD treatment, that they get free STD treatment. And so here, these are the mindless anti-American, anti-Israel crusaders. And now here, you know, these are the ones that want to eliminate the nation of Israel. In other words, they re shaking a rebellious fist in the face of a holy God. And boy, I m going to tell you, they re getting God s attention.

It s an amazing thing. Now, first came the squat there, those women that are promoting this in Congress, Islam. And now here, they ve turned these young college girls into virtually an army of young whores. And their answer to that is that here, this is 2024, this whole mindset of virginity and, you know, cleanliness, monogamous marriage.

This is neanderthal. Those days are long gone. And with the left out there, and then the judicial on the left, anything like honor, integrity, truth, if you see what they re doing to President Trump, they say those are the things of the past.

They re no longer today. And so, paid in full, today Klaus Schwab is proclaiming that like it or not, the world will soon be under complete and total Communist rule, where you will own nothing, and the state will provide your needs and decide what your needs are, and you will have no income, no debt, and you will love it. This is what Klaus Schwab is saying. Now, Joe Biden is bribing these young and dumb and gullible college students with he s bribing them with paid for giving their college debts. You see, other people paid, had to pay for their debts, and Joe Biden says, Look, if you ll vote for me, I ll let somebody else pay your college tuition. I ll let somebody else do that. You don t have to if you ll vote for me.

Of course, this is what we just read earlier. I truly believe, too, that this is one of the things that like what Klaus Schwab is promoting and Joe Biden is the Antichrist will do that. The Antichrist will say, Look, you can have all your debts forgiven. Just take this number. Just take my number. In other words, all I want is your soul.

Sign your soul to me, and all your debts will be forgiven. So I want to go now to Nehemiah, Chapter 5, and in Nehemiah, Chapter 5, Verses 1 through 5. And there was a great cry of the people and of their wives against the brethren, the Jews. You see, it would happen at this time here, the disparity between the prosperous and the poor, that during these are the ones that return after the 70 years, continue to worsen the gap like it is happening today in America between those millionaires, the elite, where the middle class is disappearing, the middle class is disappearing, and so you have the very, very rich and the very, very poor.

That's the goal of the Democratic Communist Party. And so it says, And all this was taking place while the wall was being built. And again, here, he goes on to say, For there were, that said, We, our sons and our daughters, are many. Therefore we take up corn for them, that we may eat and live. Some also there were, that said, We have mortgaged our lands and our vineyards and our houses, that we might buy corn because of the dearth. There were also those that said, We have borrowed money for the king's tribute, and then upon our lands and vineyards. In other words, to pay the tax, you know, to the king. They put themselves in debt.

And people are doing that today in America, today. Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, and our children as their children. And lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants. And some of our daughters are brought into bondage already. Neither is it in our power to redeem them. For other men have our lands and vineyards. And I was very angry when I heard the cry in these words.

Well, the redeem means to buy back, to buy back. And so here, I want to turn over to 1 Peter, Chapter 1. But before I do, I'm going to have to wet my whistle here. That felt good. This is the third time I'm preaching this today.

After a while you get a little parched. And so over in 1 Peter, Chapter 1, verses 18 through 21. For as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold from your own conversations received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest, and these the last times for you, who by him do believe in God that raised him up from the dead and gave him glory that your faith and hope might be in God.

Well, folks, redeem here again means to buy back. We were purchased from the eternity of sin and death. Our sin debt paid in full. Now, the only acceptable payment was the precious blood of Christ. Christ is sacrificed in the mind of God before he created a world. So here, and by the way, the names of the redeemed were all known to God. And so here, again, where he says, who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in those last times for you. And so here, just as God foreknew that Christ would become the Savior because of the triune God had so ordained, he also foreknew those who would be saved by him. And so here now, we take a look over, again, even before the world was created, the names of the redeemed were known. We see that in Ephesians 1, 4, 2 Timothy 1, 9.

And so here now, think about this. You know, when people tell you that Christ died for everybody, well, if Christ had died for everybody, everybody would be saved. But he didn't. He died for those that were predestined and foreordained. And he knew all of their names when he knew the others would be lost. So when he hung upon that cross, he knew who he was hanging upon that cross for.

The two thieves on either side, he knew that one would be with him and Gloria and the other would not. So he wasn't dying for the one he knew would not. And just like the fact that he says, in my father's house in many mansions, and I'm going to prepare a place, if he had died for everybody, he would prepare a place for everybody, but he didn't. And here, in fact, if you go to Romans chapter 8, starting with verse 28, he tells you precisely and exactly who it was that he died for. Now, at the same time, his blood was sufficient to take away the sins of all of the world, past, present, and future. But the blood was only applied to those that it had decided would be redeemed before the foundation of the earth. And so, with that, I want to go over to Matthew chapter 26.

And in Matthew chapter 26, we read verses 26 through 29. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread and blessed it and break it and gave it to his disciples and said, Take, eat, this is my body. Now, obviously, he took bread. They're looking at the bread.

They're watching him break the bread. And he says, Take, eat. They knew that he was speaking symbolically. They understood that, that that wasn't literal and that he didn't break off a finger or an ear. They knew that that was not literally his flesh, but he was symbolic of the flesh. And he took the cup and gave thanks and gave it to them, saying, Drake ye all of it, for this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed. Now, here you go.

Ready? Shed for many, for the remissions of sins, not for all, okay, but for many, for the remission of sins. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth this fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it new with you in the Father's kingdom. Here now, did you notice something, whether it's here or in Mark or in Luke, wherever this refers to the Lord's table, the word wine is never used. The word wine is never used.

It wasn't fermented. In other words, to make wine, you need leaven. And leaven is what?

It represents sin. A little leaven leavens the whole hallow, if you've heard about that. And like what people will say when I'm a preacher, you know, I don't have a King James Bible.

I've got a different one and it's got some differences in it. Maybe a lot of verses were taken out. Okay. But the Bible says a little leaven leavens the whole hallow. Just one change from the regular Bible, okay, makes these new H. By the way, there's about 400 perversions now of the King James Bible, about 400 out there.

Okay. And just a little change destroys the entire thing. And so here, again, as we take a look at this for my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Now I want to close by going to Ephesians chapter 1.

And in Ephesians chapter 1, first I want to start over. Blessed be the God in Ephesians 1 verse 3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blesses in heavenly places. Now the very first spiritual blessing you can receive is that of salvation. According as he had chosen us in him before the foundation of the world that we should be holy without blame before him in love.

Having predestined us into the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace wherein he has made us accepted in the beloved. Now he says this, verse 13, in whom you also trusted after you heard the word of truth. The Bible says that Jesus Christ in the beginning was the word and he was with God and he was God.

So here Christ, you had the natural order of things and that was the God the Father always gave the marching orders God the Son always carried him out and the Holy Ghost always provided a power. And here we see here, in whom you also trusted after you heard the word of truth the Gospel of your salvation and whom also after that you believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Well, he tells you first of all in verse 3 that your salvation is kept in heaven. Jesus Christ is the sealer of your salvation. He is the sealer of your salvation. And here the Holy Ghost is the seal, the Holy Spirit is the seal of your salvation. Now he says which is the earnest of inheritance until the redemption of your purchased position into the praise of the glory.

In other words, once there was a down payment made, once there was a down payment made, that belonged, that was a contract and that couldn't be broken. And so they're here for those that say that well, you can lose your salvation. God says no, you can't. First of all, if you could lose your salvation, you would lose your salvation. All it would take is a sin.

All it would take is a sin out there. And so folks, your salvation is kept in heaven by God. Let me ask you this. The most precious substance that ever existed was the blood of Christ because only it alone could guarantee one eternal life and glory.

It was the most precious substance. Now let me ask you this. Think about this. Would you allow your son to die such a horrible death on the cross and that precious gift of salvation, would you entrust that? Would you entrust that to people like who could sin? Sinners like you and me. Well, folks, again, like I said, if we could sin, we would sin. Okay?

And so if you and I would not do it, think of God the Father, you know, with His ways so much higher, there's no way He would allow us to be able to lose our salvation.
