Thank you. This is What's Right, What's Left with Pastor Ernie Sanders. Good evening and welcome to another edition of What's Right, What's Left.

I'm Radio Pastor Ernie Sanders and indeed this is the voice of the Christian Resistance here on this 25th day of June, Sunday, 2023. What a great day we had today. We had an all-day church service outside.

We had it at the pavilion and I baptized, I want to say, young Jot and Julie and Carrie and Susan were all baptized today. And we had it all day. The ladies did a tremendous job as far as making a dinner. It was just great outside. So, what a good day we had.

The weather was perfect and everybody had a great time. And so, I want to just thank the good Lord for that. Now, the title of my message this week was The Wicked and the Weak, The Wicked and the Weak. And here, you've heard Friday Radio's program when we had a former prosecutor, our Attorney General of Michigan, who was telling you about the horrendous, horrendous legislation that they had passed through the House. I mean, just evil legislation that was taken. It would make people who, anyone who spoke out against sodomy, or spoke out against the sin, someone who refused to acknowledge one of those trans things that, you know, a male that think that they're a female, or a female that think that they're a male.

And if they addressed them with the wrong pronoun, if they called them Mr. instead of Mrs. or vice versa, why, that could be a hate crime. And they even went so far as to say that people like myself on the radio who would speak out against this, they would, even if they're in another state, they would go after those people to arrest them. Well, I can tell you this, this pastor here is going to be against that. Lord's willing, I will go against it with everything I can.

God's Word, the Bible demands, it demands. They've got a very wicked legislator there, and very wicked in Michigan, like they do in New York. They pass evil, ungodly, very, very sinful legislation. But here's the thing, those people, you will talk to a number of those wicked legislators, and they will profess to be Christians. They'll tell you they attend church and their faith. In other words, they're, in other words, the very, every sin that God's Word, you know, preaches against, they embrace. But thinking, many of them are thinking that they're doing the right thing, folks. And again, this is what we're going to be talking about here tonight.

I'll give you another example. Just recently I heard a woman, a woman was talking about her son, whose son is a sodomite. And he was transing now. He decided that he was actually a woman instead of a male. And, of course, she had been totally against this mindset. She didn't realize about trans until all of a sudden it's all over the news. And this very, very, very gullible woman, very gullible, simple-minded, was saying, I hope God can forgive me for condemning the homosexuality of my son.

This woman is totally confused, absolutely and totally confused. And so here now, I want to go and start in Matthew chapter 13, verse 9, who had ears to hear, let him hear. And the disciples came and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? And he answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given, for whosoever hath to him shall be given, and he that shall have more and more abundance, but whosoever hath not from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

And he's talking about two things here, faith and knowledge, faith and knowledge. And so, therefore, speak unto them in parables, because they see, see not. And hearing, they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which said, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand, and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive. For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed, lest at any time they should see with their ears, and hear with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

So blessed are your ears, for they see, and your ears for they hear. And so now here, what is he talking about? These are people, now, if you ask, you know, most teachers, you know, why did Christ speak to them in parables? Well, most of them will tell you so that they could understand what he was saying.

Well, fuck, it's actually here just the opposite of that. He's speaking in parables, so they won't understand, now why would he not want them to understand? Well, he knows what they're going to do, he knows he's already looked upon their heart, and he knows that these people are going to reject him, they're going to reject his word, he knows that. And so, it's more, it's much more merciful for them if, since they're going to reject what he has to say, since they're going to reject him, it's more mercy for them if they don't understand completely why they're rejecting him.

The more they understand, then, of course, greater will their damnation be. Now, one day, some years ago, I was involved in leading up an Operation Rescue, and here at this big abortion mill, there was an apostate United Methodist preacher. Now, his job at that abortion mill was to convince these girls that killing their baby was just fine with God. God had no problem with that.

Now, this was his job. This man, he totally knew different. He knew better. He knew that the Bible said that that would be murder to kill a child. He knew when God gave us the divine institution of human government, the entire purpose was to preserve the image of God. He knew that the Bible clearly taught to be fruitful and multiply. He knew that God's Word, the Bible said, I've set before you life and death, blessing and curse. He knew that with life went to blessing and with death went to cursing. He knew that what he was doing, not only as Jesus had said to the apostate preachers in Matthew 23, not only will you not enter into the kingdom, but you will keep others, prevent others from coming to the kingdom. This apostate knew that. And so I rebuked him, and I mean, I really rebuked him. I went after him hard and heavy. And I told him, I says, you know exactly what you're doing. You know that you are not only on your road to the lake of fire, you know that, but you are encouraging these others, these women, to join you in that lake of fire.

Your damnation will be the greatest. Well, this guy, he threw a tantrum. He yelled, I don't know what to do. I don't know what to think. I know what they want me to do one thing, and they tell me I need to do this, and they pay me to do one thing.

I don't know what to do. He just, he said, I quit, I quit. And he literally ran off the property. Well, you know, the witches, the witches at the abortion mill, they saw their demonic apostate preacher running off the property there.

And, of course, that didn't make them happy because they had this apostate, this white enseplica out there to convince these girls that there was nothing wrong with killing their babies. And so he understood. He had ears to hear, but he was hearing what he wanted to hear. He was not hearing, nor did God. He had eyes to see, but he did not perceive. He did not perceive what was about to happen to him.

Well, he understood when I rebuked him. Now, I want to go over to Galatians chapter 1. And in Galatians chapter 1, verses 1 through 9. The apostle Paul, Paul, an apostle, not of men, neither by men, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him up from the dead. In other words, Paul was saying that he's an apostle, that he got his teaching. Now, remember the requirements of being one of the apostles. Now, there's a difference between being an apostle and one of the apostles. The apostle, there were the 12 apostles, okay? I am an apostle. An apostle is simply one who serves the Lord and who is a follower and a teacher and a preacher of the Word of God. But the apostles are very specific, and that applies to the 12 that the Lord Jesus had appointed. Now, here, Paul is saying, not of men, neither by men. Now, one of the requirements to be one of the apostles is that you had to be, personally, had to be taught by the Lord Jesus. You personally had to be taught by the Lord Jesus.

Now, you say, well, how could that be? Because the Lord Jesus had already died. Paul never met Jesus when he was walking the earth.

He had already died. Well, the answer to that is that Paul was taught by Jesus. He was tutored by Jesus for three years in the Arabian desert, and that was the answer to that. And so, here, we go on and we read, And all the brethren which are with me into the churches of Galatia, grace be to you and peace from God the Father and from my Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world. Well, now, that word eon, this present evil eon, is talking about not the planet earth, but he's referring to the age, the church age. And that age that we're talking about is the sixth dispensation period.

Now, Paul was at the beginning of that period. We now are at the end, we are at the end of that sixth dispensation. And so, here, this actually applies to us more than ever. To whom be glory forever and ever.

Amen. He goes on to say, the departure from, you know, as we look here, I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ, into another gospel. Now, here, that word, hitterus, in the Greek, another there is hitterus. It means one of a different kind.

It means another of a different kind. Like what Al Sharpton, for example, preaches. Al Sharpton was out there saying that God is where the Bible condones abortion. That's a lie told by a liar. Folks, believe me, that is a lie from the pit of hell. But he was out there preaching that lie.

He's an apostate, he is an apostate, he is a servant of Satan, Al Sharpton is. Or, some of these others out there that you see, preaching another gospel, one that is, which is a different one, what is not the gospel of Christ. Now, then he goes on to say, which is not another now. Now, see, you say, well, wait a minute. Called you into the grace of Christ, into another gospel, which is not another.

Well, what do you mean? If it's another gospel, how come it's not another? Well, the reason is that another here in verse 7 is different than the another in verse 6. The another in verse 7 is Alice.

Alice, in the Greek, it means one of a different kind. In other words, are of the same kind, rather. It means a gospel of the same kind, where hitrus means of a different kind.

So, in other words, when he's talking about, when he's saying, it's not one of the gospels from the word of God. For example, today we had a very, we had a double long Bible study today. I did two Bible studies. I did, well, actually, normally we have two different classes, but I stretched it out today. And we covered a number of things. We covered the things of speaking in tongues to sign gifts. We talked about some of these. We just took a lot of questions. And we also talked about, well, about komea and comb.

About men and women and their hair, the length of their hair. And so you had two gospels, but they were gospels of the same kind. In other words, they were both the preaching of the gospel by the Apostle Paul. And whereas the first one he talked about where he says to another, that would be a gospel that is not a biblical gospel at all. Like a gospel that these apostate preachers are preaching. He goes on to say, but though we or an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you, then that which we have preached unto you, let him be cursed. Again he goes on, and we say before, so I say, now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you, then you have received, let him be accursed. Now it's an interesting thing because when he says even an angel from heaven, well in Revelation 14 verses 6 and 7 which tells us God will send an angel to preach the everlasting gospel from heaven during the coming tribulation period.

And the message of the angel will exhort people to worship the true God who had created all things. And so here when he says this, now that word cursed there is an interesting thing. Anathema, it means anathema. And here it's those who are dedicated to false gods or to false teaching. And he said those again, though we are an angel from heaven preach any other gospel unto you, that which we have preached, let him be accursed. Anathema. And he said, therefore, so I say again now, if any man preach any other gospel unto you, then you have received, let him be accursed. Now I can tell you this folks, it's not a good thing. It's not a good thing to be accursed by God at all. And so I am going to have to take a little swig here.

There you go for the throat's sake. So I want to go now over to 2 Corinthians chapter 11. And in 2 Corinthians chapter 11 we read, I want to read verse, let me read verses 1-4.

Would to God you could bear with me a little in my folly, indeed bear with me. Here it's an interesting thing what he's referring to. He says, for I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy, for I have espoused you to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. Now he's again, the true church of Christ encompassing all who have received him as a Savior and Lord is called the bride of Christ. And that's what Paul is talking about. He's asking as he's acting as the spiritual father of the Corinthian Christians.

And in other words, he's referring to that congregation, that assembly there basically as his spiritual daughter, pure and wholesome to the heavenly bridegroom is what he's referring to. But I fear lest any means as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. Well, that verse, that one verse sure did bring up a lot of the conversation and controversy we have about the devil always tempting men. Now the serpent, the very first sin was the one of pride. The very first sin was the sin of pride.

Satan thought he was good enough to be equal with God. Then here it goes with the next sin is, well, men, you know, the enemy attacks men, mostly in the area of pride, but women in the area of discernment. And we went through a number of places in the Bible that showed you, that taught you that, but that's a different message.

I don't want to get on that tonight. And so he said, Eve through his subtlety, so your mind should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. There's a lot of very simple doctrines that people try to complicate, and that's, again, another message. But he goes on to say, For if he that cometh preaching another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit which you have not received, or another gospel which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.

Well, here, what are we talking about? When we're talking about another Jesus, it's an interesting thing there, because, well, you know, I, you know, we're supposed to reference the Lord, not like what they did in the San Diego Dodgers, or the Los Angeles Dodgers, how they brought in those Satanists, they brought in those sodomite Satanists, just to blaspheme God. They brought them in, and what they did is they virtually told the fans, their fans, Look, we know, OK, we know about your so-called faith, but come on. You know, when it comes down to it, your entertainment means more to you than your faith. That's basically the message that the Dodgers was cut, went across.

We're not afraid of losing any money. But the people there said, No, enough is enough. They're getting really tired, really, really tired nowadays of political correctness. And so, here, they preach Jesus, who is non-judgmental, who is non-judgmental. Folks, listen, when it comes to sin, there was never a more judgmental man that ever walked the face of the earth, the Lord Jesus.

There was never. Remember when the woman was taking adultery? He didn't tell her, Now, go, but don't sin so much. He said, Sin no more, period.

No more, period. And again, I'm going to tell you, if you don't understand, when he comes back, he's going to deal with sin, and he's going to deal with it to the extreme. They talk about a Jesus that is tolerant, that, Well, he'll accept you just the way you are. There's no need for repentance.

And again, I remember we've talked about this. Some years ago, there was a guy, he called himself DeJesus. And he came down from South America. He came to America. He was going, making all his rounds in the apostate church, the World National Council of Churches. They invited him in, United Church of the Antichrist, and these apostate churches.

They thought it was great, because this guy came, and he was claiming to be Messiah. But his message was this, that he hung upon a cross and suffered a horrendous, horrendous death, and died an extremely painful death. And he did that, not so that people would have to be bound to any moral laws, but he did that so that people could live any way they wanted. That's what his message was. He died a painful death upon that cross, so that people could die, could live any way that they wanted to live. They didn't have to, they weren't bound by any moral laws, any biblical laws, no spiritual laws. And his point was, there was no hell.

Nobody's going to hell. Now, this guy actually had 666 on his forehead. He had it, whether it was a permanent tattoo or, I don't know, but he had this tattoo on his forehead. And he would go around with two whores. He had two very, very scantily clad women with him who were, you know, they weren't hiding anything. They were displaying their wares very, very openly. And he was going to these different apostate churches, and they just loved that message that he had. Don't worry, you know, you can embrace and live with any kind of sin you wanted, and that's what they wanted to hear. And so here, when he said, another Jesus, you know, they have the New Age Jesus out there today.

And sometimes I kind of get a little miffed when I hear especially some of these songs out there. Usually they're like country western singers, and they're talking about, I'm cruising in my 18 wheeler with my good buddy. My good buddy is right here by my side, and he's referring to the Lord Jesus, okay? Or they'll refer to him as an over the road hauler, you know.

Just refer to him in different songs. And I know that they mean well, they mean well, but it's not being reverent. It's not reverence, and it's not really being respectful. Or today you've got the New Age, the New Age Jesus. The one that a number of these New Age teachers are preaching. Andy Stanley would be one. Believe me, Andy Stanley is nowhere nothing like his father Charles who had passed away recently. Charles preached the gospel. Charles Stanley preached the gospel.

Andy is preaching another gospel which is not the gospel. And so here you had the prosperity Jesus. And here I remember hearing Kenneth Copeland actually picking up the Bible and holding it and saying that you could take this book, and with this book you can make the Lord produce, you can make him give you those material things.

In other words, you could take this book and extort things from God, material things from God. And so, folks, that's definitely another spirit. Remember what the verse said. If you either come preaching another Jesus whom you have not preached or if you receive another spirit which you have not received, well, that's a different spirit. It's not the spirit of God that's motivating them. Or another gospel which you have not accepted. Well, that's exactly what these men are preaching, another gospel which is not the word of God. But then he says you might well bear with us.

Well, a lot of times people misunderstand what he's saying. That word bear there is not like today if we feel that we have to bear a burden, that means we have to carry that. We have to carry that burden. But in this case the word here used is a word that means to push against. To push against that burden, not carry it, but to push against it, to push it away from you. That's why he says you might well bear with him.

In other words, push him away from you. And then if you go over to verse 12, he says, But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion, and where in their glory that they may be found even as we. In other words, he's talking about these who were, they came and they said, Well, these are false apostles. And they said, We're like Paul and Peter and James, we're apostles preaching the doctrine of Christ.

But they're not. But they want to try to associate themselves with the apostles. Now, we've had the same thing happen today, some years ago. There in Cleveland, when the Mayor White, if you remember, he wanted to, he wanted, he got an invitation to come and he wanted to hear from the pastors whether or not they should open city council meetings and mayor's meetings with prayer or not. Well, I went down there, a number of other pastors, real pastors, I knew who went down there. But there were a number of the apostate, the liberal, the world and national council of churches, the Matthew chapter 25, those on the left, these apostate preachers.

And they came down. Now, we all said yes. You know, the Bible's very clear.

There's this thing called the Great Commission, right? And you go out and so opening in prayer, preaching, whatever, any, the more the better. Well, and all of the pastors agreed to that. But now the apostate pastors, they said no, we don't think you should do that because for us to pray in the name of the Lord Jesus is offensive to non-believers. It's offensive to non-Christians.

It's offensive to Muslims or whatever. And so as we left there, this tall, thin Lutheran so-called clergy had his little inside out, upside down collar. He came up to me and he said, now, brother Sanders, I know that we disagree on a lot of things.

I know your radio program. We disagree on a lot. But we're still brothers in the Lord.

Don't forget that. And I said, no, we are not brothers in the Lord. No, we have a different father. Your father is a murderer and a liar from the beginning. And that's what the Lord Jesus said of him. And you know that, and you know that what you're preaching, you embrace everything that God's Word, the Bible calls sin. You know that you're a false prophet.

You know that. And so with that, he just put his head down, looked towards the ground. He couldn't answer me. He couldn't answer me. He just was stood there in silence. So just like the apostate over there at the abortion mill, except for that apostate, he turned into a raving maniac. He just started screaming, I don't know what to do.

One tells me one thing, another tells me another. And he just lost it. And he ended up just running, running out.

He literally ran out of the place. Well, now I want to go over to 1 Timothy chapter 3. And in 1 Timothy chapter 3 verses 1 through 9, and it's time to take another sip here. Yeah, that's very cool on my throat when you've been doing a lot of teaching and preaching.

The old vocal chords get kind of dried up. So in 2 Timothy chapter 3 verses 1 through 9, this know also that in the last days, perilous times should come. Now, it's an interesting thing. He's referring to the last days here in two places in scripture. Here and in Peter, we refer to the last days. Now, in other places it talks about in end times or later times.

But here it's specific. Now, again, Paul was at the beginning of the sixth dispensation. And what he's talking about here is the end, the very end, and this is what the days we're living. Well, how do you know it's the end?

Well, here, now look at it, because he tells you these are the signs that you'll see. For men shall be lovers of their own selves. I've never seen that more than there is today. I've never seen so many peoples, especially those in the politics and in sports, especially in Hollywood, when it talks about lovers of their own selves.

Well, some refer to that as the evolutionary process within society. Here, now, it talks about truce breakers. It talks about covetous. You know, covetous is idolatry, and actually it's the worship of money, the money god Mammon. That word actually means the worship to worship silver, silver, which was used for money.

Here, it talks about proud. Remember, the very first sin that was ever committed was the sin of pride. Satan committed that when Satan had decided that he would be, could be equal with God.

Right? When the creation decided that he could be equal with his creator, and that was the sin of pride. And God chides Satan.

He chides Satan like he chided Ephabell III over in Ezekiel 28, who also decided that he had become a god. What he talks about here, without natural affection, oh my gosh, without natural affection today, that applies more than ever, ever, ever in so many ways. What could be more natural? What could be more natural than for a mother to want to protect the preborn child in her womb? What could be more natural, look it, even wolves. I know a mother grizzly bear, a mother grizzly bear, and there's been films and documentaries showing how a mother grizzly bear will fight a male grizzly bear that's twice her size. She'll fight to the death to protect her cubs. Now, the reason for that is that somehow, those male grizzly bears, somehow they know whether the cubs are, they've sired those cubs or another bear has. And so, if they believe that those cubs have been sired by another bear, they'll kill those cubs. And the same thing with lions. The same thing with a mother lion, and now it's not so much that with wolves. Wolves are a little different, but even animals will fight to the death of mothers to protect their preborn, their infants, their babies. Today we have so many women that would kill them. You actually, at university in Pittsburgh out there, you actually have women who go and carry a baby for the full nine months to sell it, to sell it, to experiment on.

They experiment on the child. This is wicked. I mean, it's horrendously wicked, horrendously.

The university of Pittsburgh has become known to be a very evil and wicked place, extremely evil and wicked. And I tell you what, I'm ashamed of anybody that even donates a dollar to that place. I'm ashamed of anybody who would send their children there. He goes on to talk about not only that, but natural affection, folks.

What more is natural than a man's love for a woman and a woman's love for a man and a parent's love for their children? Today you've got these so-called parents that are taking their children to drag queens. Those parents, they hate their children.

Anyone that would do that, that would take them to see a drag queen, those parents, they should be jailed. I tell you what, God's going to deal with them, boy will he deal with them. Anyhow, truth breakers, that's translated implacable, if you will, here. But incontinent, incontinent means lack of power, no power, no strength, weak. But anyhow, as we see this here, this has never been to the extent that it is here today. Then he goes on to talk about having a form of godliness, having a form but denying the power thereof. These people who are, this refers to in the word there in the small g's, not just to clerical or to in the religious area, but it also refers to those that have a form. In other words, they have like a judge or authority.

So it refers to all three. Now, here having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. In other words, they're preaching, they're denying the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of God from such turn away, from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive. Now the word houses there, the word houses means church houses, that's what they refer to the very first churches as because they met in houses.

And they would call it, that's a church house there. Here, lead captive, silly women. That word silly there in the Greek actually means lesser, means a small or lesser, in other words, a woman that is not really, well, when it comes to, I guess, when it comes to discernment, an understanding, she's a lesser person, not one that has very much discernment or understanding. For this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive, silly women, laden with sins and led away with diverse lusts, okay? And those lusts could be not only sexual sins but also, and you know where you'll find this in the charismatic movement, well, you'll find it in the apostate church too. In the apostate church, United Church of the Antichrist, in the pilgrim church, the episcopal, now you'll find a lot of lesbians. Now God's word in the Bible expressly teaches that women are not to be ordained ministers and teach men but in these apostate churches, today more and more they're putting women, in other words, whatever God's word the Bible teaches, they will do exactly the opposite.

These are apostate churches. And so here he goes on to say, for this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive, silly women, laden with sins, led away with diverse lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, it's because they're never learning the truth, they're never learning the truth, you know. And so here, I want to go over for a minute to Hebrews chapter 5, in Hebrews chapter 5, verses 11 through 14, and it's time again to take another little sip here. And so in Hebrews chapter 5, starting with verse 11, now here you have, this is the third warning here now in the book of Hebrews, it's the third warning given by the author, and this is a warning of dullness of hearing, a warning of dullness of hearing. The second warning actually was the warning, the danger of hardening the heart, the danger of hardening the heart, and the first warning was a warning of neglect, the danger of neglect.

And here we're going to deal with the dullness of hearing. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be honored seeing you are dull of hearing, for when, for the time you ought. Now, that's an interesting word right there, it means, it's a very strong word, and it means here basically have a duty, for when the time, for the time you basically have a duty to be teachers, you have need that one teach you, again, which be the first principles of the oracles of God, and there becomes such as have the need of milk, and not of strong meat. Now here, let me just tell you here, the next few verses here, we have, is actually the true definition of what the word Baptist means. The actual Baptist is not a denomination, a lot of people don't understand that, in fact today, probably, you know, 85, 90% of the congregations that have Baptist in their name are not Baptist at all, they're Protestant, Protestant is not Baptist, actual true Baptist is actually a doctrine, it's a doctrine, not a definition, and so here what he's referring to, and that's, I could get into that more at a later time, but here what he's referring to, when he says, while he's talking about the fundamentals of the faith, for when the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again, which be the first principles of the oracles of God, now that simply means the doctrines, the oracles means doctrine, and the principles, he's talking about the fundamentals of the faith, that this is what true Baptist is, is fundamentals of the faith, we hold to the fundamentals, the death, the burial, the resurrection, we hold to the exact biblical teachings, the ordinances of baptism, the Lord's table, we hold to exactly the biblical teachings here, literally, we don't try to use tradition or we will not ever override and place the congregational teachings above the teachings of the Bible, or the denominational teachings, before putting that above the teachings of the word of God in the Bible, now, he said again, which be the first principles of the oracles of God, which have become such as have need of milk and not of strong meat, in other words, he's saying, you people should at this time, as long as you've been in, now we all know people that never seems to grow, they seem to stay at the same level in the church, in other words, they'll come to church every Sunday morning or every Sunday evening, but they don't get into any Bible study classes, they don't volunteer, they come to church, and there's a mindset that, okay, I came to church today, I sat there in that pew, and I listened to what the preacher said, certainly then, God must be pleased with me, no, he's not pleased with you, until you take what you've learned and put it to practical application, and it bore fruit, just like, try going to work, you say, well, you know, I've got a good job, you go to work, you sit there in your office, you say, here I am, I'll be here all day, unless you're doing your job, your boss is not going to be happy with you, and if you are not a doer of the word, just to hear only, God is not happy with you either, because he says you're deceiving your own self if you think so, okay, and here he's referring to people here that never grow above a certain stage, he goes on to say, for everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe, but strong meat belongeth to them that are full of age, even those who, by reason of use, have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil, therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go into perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, that means there's two applications, ordaining ministers, or also healings, okay, and the resurrection of the dead, and of the eternal judgment, and this we do if God permit, so that's what he's talking about what true baptism is, is the fundamentals of the faith, what true baptist is, what true baptist is. Now, and I want to go now, and we see that, that is, well, today especially, more than ever, you'll see people that'll look to, I've actually had people say, they'll kind of look down on that, but they'll attend these mega churches, they attend the mega churches, because you can get in there, you can get lost in the crowd, and you don't ever have to worry about being called on to do anything, the pastor doesn't even know your name, okay, and that's the way you like it, you like it to be in there, you like to go and you like to stay comfortable, well let me tell you, the only one you're cheating is yourself, you're cheating yourself, again, you're not placing up crowns in glory, the Bible says to be you a doer of the word, not a hearer only, a doer of the word, not a hearer only deceiving yourself, and so, here, faith without words, folks, is dead, absolutely dead, that means there is no faith, that means you're deceiving yourself, this is why Peter teaches to make your salvation sure, to make your salvation sure, in fact, let's go over to first Peter, and in first Peter, I want to start here, in verse 16, if any man suffers a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God on his behalf, in other words, folks, let me just tell you, during the early days in the pro-life movement, okay, well actually I've been in that for 50 years, but in the early days, things got excited, we were out there saving babies, we saved a lot of babies, and a lot of women from, well, you know, these women, these young women that killed their babies, they were seven times more likely to be suicidal than their counterparts, but in those early days out there preaching the gospel, I'd be out at those abortion mills all the time, mixing it up with those bloody child molesting, baby raping abortionists, and those witches, they had a lot of witches that worked at these abortion mills, they were very evil people, and I never know any of the ghoulies, maybe the exception of one or two of these women that worked out there that weren't lesbians, there was a few that weren't, but boy, most of the ones that weren't lesbians were whores, okay, there's some wicked people when you're in the baby killing business. And so, here, he goes on to say, for the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God, and if it begin at us, what shall the end of them that obey not the gospel of God? Folks, it begins in the house of God and it begins in that pulpit, no place, no place, no place has our Lord been more dishonored than from the pulpits of men who did not have the courage, and in the early days when I would be out there, I would be arrested for doing the Lord's work, and here he says, look, if a man suffers a Christian, let him not be ashamed, I got arrested a lot for doing the Lord's work, preaching the gospel, resistance to evil out there, and so, some of these prissy preachers, these neo-evangelicals would say how that is shameful, we're supposed to obey the government, and if abortion's legal, then we're not to protest it, these were cowards, these men were cowards, okay, and they wouldn't say that to me, a couple of them made the mistake of saying that to me, and then they wished they hadn't, okay. But this next verse, and if the righteous scarcely be saved, what shall the ungodly and the sinners appear?

Folks, listen, that should send chills down the spines of many people. Folks out there, let me tell you, this is exactly why Peter says that you need to make your salvation sure, wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls unto him in well doing as unto a faithful creator, and I encourage you tonight, if you cannot say to me, Pastor Sanders, I know if I were to die tonight, I know I would go home and be with the Lord, you probably won't, and so my suggestion to you is that you make your salvation sure, you do exactly what the Lord Jesus told you to do. You pray to the Father, you ask for forgiveness of your sins, and then you ask the Lord Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life, all of your life, putting him first and foremost before everything else, and if you'll do that, God will always honor that commitment, he'll always honor that, and you will be indwelt, you've got God's word on this, listen, you've got God's word on this, there's nothing, never has been, never would be, as sure as the Word of God, he spoke the universe into being, there is nothing but power, and Jesus said, heaven and earth will pass, but his words will never pass, and you have God's word on it, if you'll do that, you will become a born again believer, a child of God, an heir of the kingdom, and you will be on the road to immortality, again, you have God's word on that, so, we're coming up to the end of the program, again, and again, I want to say what I'll just say, congratulations to John and Julie and Carrie and Susan for becoming baptized today, and we are out of time tonight, and as we get to this time every night, we always say, we start by saying, good night, God bless, and always, always, and I do mean always, keep fighting the fight.
