I've got to adjust my headset because I'm not hearing out of both sides. Let's see. Yep. That's better.

Alrighty. Tonight the title of the message, this Mother's Day message, was The First Woman, Wife, and Mother. Now it's an interesting thing. I was thinking that I've never heard a complete sermon on the person of Eve, the very first woman. And I thought, I'm going to ask and find out how much most people know about Eve. So I did that. Before I taught the class I would ask, what do you know about Eve?

And virtually I got mostly the same thing from people. Well, she was the first woman and she sinned. She was the first sinner. And that's true. But the Bible has a whole lot more, a whole lot more to tell us about Eve than that.

And I thought, well, you know, that's what I think I'm going to do. Let's take a look at the very first mother. And so we're going to start tonight in Genesis and in Genesis chapter 1 verse 27 we read this. And God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. And God blessed them and God said, unto them be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it. And have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the, follow the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Now here, men was not only created in God's spiritual image, if you will, he was also made in God's physical image.

Just think about this for a minute. His body was specifically planned to be the most suited for the divine fellowship. Talking about an erect posture, upward gazing, continents of facial expressions, varying with emotional feelings, brain and tongue designed for articulate speech, none of which are shared by any of the animals. Furthermore, his body was designed to be like the body which God had planned for eternity that he himself would one day assume. And we see that in 1 Peter 1 chapter 1 verse 20. When God decided to come in the image of man, he became as a man. Well, actually the man was the image of God.

It was just the opposite. And so here now we're going to start by reading over here in chapter 2 starting with verse 16. And the Lord, and as we go through here, I'm going to read all the way through chapter 3, but then we're going to come back and we're going to take a look at a whole lot of things, a whole lot of things that we didn't know about Eve. And the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden thou may freely, freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shall surely die. Now, what you think about this for a minute?

Okay. So here, the only restriction that God gave Adam, I mean, Adam had all of this freedom, all of this freedom. You know, he, he didn't have the laws, the 10 commandments. He had all of these freedom because at this time there was no sin. And so God told Adam, look, there's one restriction, just one. Don't eat of that tree in the midst of the garden of good and evil. Now here, this restriction opposed here by God is the simplest, most straightforward test that could be devised for determining man's volitional response to God's love. There was only one minor restraint placed on Adam, just one, one, on Adam's freedom. And with an abundance of delicious fruits of all types, he said, all these, these delicious fruit, listen, when God makes fruit, he makes fruit, right? You had all of this. And God said, you can have any of that you want, but not just this one tree right here.

No. And so with all of these delicious fruits of all types available, there was no justification for his desiring the one forbidden fruit. Nevertheless, God did give Adam a choice. And so was a free moral agent capable of accepting or rejecting God's call. I know people are already saying, wait a minute, wait a minute. Why are you blaming this on Adam?

It was Eve. Well, we'll get to that. When he says, in the very day that he would experimentally come to the no evil through disobedience, God's word, disobedience to God's word, he would die spiritually being separate from God's direct fellowship.

And when also, at that point, from that very moment, he would start to die physically within initiation of decay process in which his body, which would ultimately cause the physical death. And so here, here we go on, I'm having that same problem with these very thin pages. I love this Bible, but boy, these pages are thick. Thou shalt not eat of it, for in the day that thou eatest thereof, thou shalt surely die. And the Lord God said, it is not good that man should be alone.

I will make for him a helpmate. Well, and out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every fall of the air, brought them into Adam's sea, what he would call them. Now, listen, God had formed, he didn't say that after he had formed Adam, he had formed the animals prior to Adam.

Adam was the crowd in the last day. So when he says here, he had formed the means that he had previously formed, made all these animals, you see. And out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every fall of the air and brought them into Adam, so to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called every living creature, that was their name. Now think about this.

Think about this. Now, let's just say, and some of your theologians and historians feel that there were approximately three thousand animals and birds on the ark. Now, the reason we're talking about that is, like in the cat family and the feline family, you got leopards and lions and bobcats and cougars, but he didn't make all of these. He would have the feline, probably, well, maybe he did.

We don't know. But again, like I said, by count, most figure there's about three thousand animals. Now, let's just say there was three thousand. What kind of an intellect would Adam have had to have when the Lord gave him this? Look at these animals and by sizing up their characteristics, give them a name, a name that's fitting for what they are. Now, that would have taken quite an intellect, but it didn't take Adam very long at all.

He got it done in a hurry. And so here, and Adam gave names. Well, let me go back. Another ground God formed every beast in the field and every fowl of the air and brought them into Adam and said, to see what he would call them. And whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave name to all the cattle and to all the fowl of the air and to every beast of the field. But for Adam, there was none found a helpmate for him.

Now, think about this for a minute. There was no helpmate for Adam. Can you imagine, you know, Adam out there, he's got hippopotamus, he's got warthogs, you know, he's got some of those pretty ugly creatures he made. And Adam was a pretty smart fella. He wasn't the kind of guy that would heal. Well, he wasn't no Democrat, I can tell you that, because Adam knew exactly what a woman was. And he stayed away from any of that trans stuff and any of that beastiality and all that stuff that they do today out there.

There was none of that. There was no sin. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept and he took out one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib which the Lord God had taken from Adam made he a woman and brought her into the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh.

She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man. Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Not only were they naked and not ashamed. Remember, God had already said in Genesis 1 26 to be fruitful and to multiply. God had commanded man, Adam and Eve, to be fruitful and to fill the earth, to fill up the earth, to be fruitful. So they weren t ashamed of being naked. There was no sin at this time.

And they were both naked, and the man and his wife were not ashamed. Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God hand made. And he said unto this woman, Yea, as God said, You shall not eat of the tree of the garden. We re going to come back to these verses when we go through here.

We re going to come back and take a better and a little bit closer look at this. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. Well he never, see God had spoken to Adam and told Adam. And it was Adam s job, okay, to pass this on to his wife, and he did.

Because Eve was very, very well aware of the restrictions, the one restriction that was placed above them. And the serpent said unto the woman, You shall not surely die, for God doth know in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened and you shall be as God s knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to, now this is very important because we re going to come back to this here, pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave unto her husband with her, and he did eat.

And the eyes of them were both opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they saw fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord, God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam said unto his wife, Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him, Where art thou? You know, I kind of think that God knew all along where Adam was.

God was very well aware of what Adam had done, but he s going to let Adam answer for himself here. And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou were naked? Has thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? Remember, the only restriction he placed on Adam and Eve was, you could look at all this other trees, look at all this other fruit, all of it is beautiful, all of it is perfect.

Just, now there was a test, it was simply a test again. And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. Well, you know, here, in that statement, Adam was virtually saying, you know, it s that woman, it s that woman you gave me, you see. I was good, man.

I was good with them giraffes, I was good with them monkeys, I was good. That woman you gave me, the woman you gave me, God, she s the one that convinced me to do it. And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. Well, you know, we hear that today. The devil made me do it.

The devil made me do it. Well, that s what Eve was saying. Now, now Eve is there and she s listening to these next couple of verses. And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field. Upon the belly shalt thou go, and doth shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.

Now, again, bear in mind, you often see all of these paintings. In fact, I ve seen them right in some Bibles, right in some versions of the Bibles. They have a picture of this beautiful naked Eve, and she s standing there, and here s this huge serpent, the snake, like a python or a boat or an anaconda snake or whatever, wrapped around the tree.

Folks, that s not the way it was. You see, it wasn t until they had sinned that God made. In fact, this is when God right here proclaimed that curse upon the serpent. Now, there s a very, very good portrait over in Ezekiel chapter 28 of Satan. And, of course, at that time, the portrait was made, he was referred to as Lucifer, but he was the most beautiful creation of God.

He tells you that he was perfect, perfect in beauty, and that s why he says perfect in beauty, and that his vesture was made out of rubies and diamonds and precious, all these precious stones. And so here, he appeared, he appeared in the form of a man with legs and arms like us, but he was a serpent. And so, you see, if he had been a snake wrapped around the tree, Old Eve might have had a real problem with that.

Most women, when they come across a snake, they don t fare very well or don t last very long there. And here he says, And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all the cattle and above every beast of the field. Upon thy belly shalt thou go, and the dust thou shalt eat all the days of his life. Now, Eve s standing right there, and she s hearing this. And then he says, I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed, it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Now, we wanted to just say this, too. A woman doesn t have a seed. And so, what is he referring to? It s called an Evangelium. It s the first mention of Christ as a redemption. And so, here, Eve is listening to this because when Christ when the Redeemer would be born, he would have not the man has the seed. Mary would not have her eggs fertilized by man, by the seed of men, but by the Holy Spirit. And so, it would be in this case was referred to the seed of the woman, which would be Christ and his followers, Christ and the Christians, Christ and the Redeemed, would be at war, and they would be at battle with Satan and his and well, you know, the deep state, the progressives, the Democrats of today.

Literally, they have embraced every single thing that God s word in the Bible has caused sin. And so, here, he s saying, and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed, and it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. And unto the woman, he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception, and sorrow thou shalt bring forth children, and thy desire shall be toward her husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam, he said, because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it. Cursed is the ground for the sake, and sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.

Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to thee, and thou shalt eat the herb of the field, and in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat the bread, till thou return unto the ground. For out of it wast thou taken, for dost thou art, and dost thou shall return. And Adam called his wife s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. Unto Adam also, and to his wife, did the Lord God make coats of skins and clothe them. And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us to know good and evil, and now lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and live forever. Therefore the Lord God set him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

So he drove them out, the man, and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden, cherubims with a flaming sword, which turned every way to keep the way of the tree of life. And so we re going to take a look at now a number of, well, a number of things that were unique with Eve. Eve was the very first woman, she had, well, and believe me, Adam knew what a woman was, and when she was the very first woman, she had no mother, she had no birthday, she was never a girl or a daughter.

Well, you say, well, why didn t she have a birthday? Well, she wasn t born, but I would imagine you would consider a sense of being born in the creation, but she was never born as an infant, as a baby. She was never occupied the womb of another woman. Eve had three names. Woman because she was taken out of man, she had Adam s name in Genesis 5-2.

Let s turn over to Genesis 5-2 for just a minute here. And in Genesis 5-2, and that s not it, we read this. Male and female created Eve them, and blessed them and called their name Adam in the day when they were created. So she was Mrs. Adam. Well, that s interesting because today, in most cases, it s always been tradition when a man and a woman gets married, the wife takes her husband s name, and that s the way it should be.

I mean, that s the way it started. And here we go on, and she was called Eve because and that name was given by Adam because she was the mother again of all living. Now, Adam might have been pardoned, folks, had he reproached Eve for her sin.

Now, just think about this for a minute. Had Adam done what he wanted? Remember, the Lord says, because you listened to your wife instead of me, instead of God. But had Adam been obedient to God and said, Listen, woman, right now for what you did once Eve had eaten the throat, right now repent of that. Ask God for forgiveness, repent of that right now.

Well, Adam might have been pardoned, and that would have saved us all a lot of trouble, but he didn t. And we ll get to probably the reason for that here. Well, Eve brought death into our world and all of our woes ever since because of that sin. And so, I want to turn over now, and now I m getting the pages of my notebook turned here, separated here. Now, here and we go to, in fact, it was through her seed, sin one day would be vanquished. I wanted to go back to that Genesis 3.15, which we talked about here, and I put enmity between the woman and between thy seed and her seed, and would bring, bruise thy head, and now shall bruise thy heel.

Well, folks, let me tell you, you can operate with a bruised heel. And, of course, we saw Christ crucified and we saw the churches under so much persecution, greater persecution today. More people are being, more Christians are being killed today than ever.

You just won t hear about it on the mainstream media because they really don t want it, they don t even consider anything wrong, as long as those are just Christians. But here, if I turn over to Isaiah, in fact, in Isaiah chapter 25, in verse 8, we read this, And he will swallow up death and victory, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all, tears off all faces, and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off the earth, for the Lord hath spoken it. And that s exactly what the Lord was speaking about here in Genesis 3.15. Now, she was unique in a lot of ways. First of all, she was the first woman to ever be evicted off of property, thrown out of her home. And for good reason.

She was the first woman to live upon the earth. If she, now that s another thing there. Just think about this. I think I m going to have to get me something to wet my whistle here. That means I might have to just step away from my mic a little bit here. I think I can reach it. This again, here s the third time today, I m preaching a message, and we re a little bit on the vocal chords, as you may hear.

So, let me. Now, that makes a big difference, that s a big, big difference. Now, if Eve had lived as long as Adam, and today you ll notice that women usually live about five years, I think it s four to five years longer than their husbands, but if she would have lived, say, as long as Adam, that was nine hundred and thirty years, and we see that in Genesis 5, 5. Now, her age wasn t mentioned. I was kind of joking around a little bit today, and I said her age wasn t mentioned because women don t like to talk much about their age. I saw some of the looks on some of the ladies faces today, and I said, Well, how many of you women out there today, if you were nine hundred and thirty years old, would want to talk about it?

And I got a bunch of cackles. But here, they just didn t mention the ages of the women. In fact, for the most part, didn t even mention the birth, unless there was something significant about throughout the Bible, daughters. Now, believe me, Eve had a lot of daughters. So, she would have been the oldest woman ever to live upon the earth, the oldest woman ever to live upon the earth.

And think about this here. If she lived to be nine hundred and thirty years old, that means she would probably have been having children for about five hundred years. Now, these people were much more fertile than we are, and this is where so many historians and theologians and mathematicians come up with the probability that at that time of the flood, that there would be approximately eight billion people, approximately eight billion people on the earth at that time. And it s an interesting thing because when we ve talked about the rainbow, wherever the rainbow occurs four times in the Bible, it always occurs first, it always is a symbol of God s wrath, his wrath and then his mercy, his wrath and then his mercy. And we see in his wrath, he destroyed eight billion people, but in his mercy, he left eight people upon the earth. Now, God is immutable. He does things the same way.

And the reason he never changes, he unchanges because he gets it right every single time. And now here, as we are nearing eight billion people on the earth today, I believe we re, and I know we re getting very, very close, much closer than we ve ever been to the Lord s return. Now, she was the very first woman to be called a wife. And if we go over to Ephesians chapter five here, and we read in Ephesians chapter five, starting with verse twenty-two, and with feminism today has been one of the worst things that s ever happened to America. Feminism is right straight from the pit of hell.

It s right from the pit of hell. And if people had the intellect, the intelligence, if they only understood how good their life could be if they would comply with the word of God, but they don t. And here we read this, Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands as unto the Lord. Now, Sarah referred to Abraham as Lord. And here, for the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church, and he is the savior of the body. Therefore, as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Listen to that. Now, God made man in his image, and say God is a triune being, father, son, and a holy ghost. Now, they re all they re all equal in their deity, but in authority, God the father is the head. He gives the instructions, and God the son and holy ghost submit themselves to the father s will, to his instruction. So, here, in the same manner as we people, we re triune beings too.

We re body, soul, and spirit. And here we have a husband, a wife, and children. And so, today, he says, for the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church, and he is the savior of the body. Today, women, because all of society keeps telling the women today why, if you re obedient to your husband, there s something wrong with you. And today, the women have a real problem.

I mean, they really have a real problem being obedient to their husbands. And I remember one time, I had gone to the hospital, it was like, well, it was a clinic, I had gone to a clinic, and I was in the clinic, and it was pouring down rain outside. Now, when I would go in the clinic, I used to go in there because these clinics were not very pro-life or pro-Christian, and I would take and I would put pro-life literature and gospel tracts on tables and in magazines, you know, where people would find them. And so, when I was about to leave, it was pouring down rain. So, I started out in a flat out run to my car, because I had no umbrella, and I didn t get very far when a great big car, one of the older cars pulled up, I think it was a big old Buick or whatever, but it stopped there, and this woman in there, she said, Here, you left this on the table. I said, Well, that s for you, it was the gospel tract.

And I noticed that she had black eyes, and not that her eyes were the color black, but she had been punched in the eyes. And she said, Do you have a minute to talk? Well, normally, I don t, I won t climb into a car with a woman I don t know, but in this case, I wasn t getting any dryer.

It was pouring, so I did. I sat in the car, and what she told me was that, she said, I don t know what to do. I don t know what to do. I want to go to church. I know I feel impelled to go to church, and my husband won t let me. He says, Doesn t your Bible say you to obey me?

But he s not a Christian, and he s not living nor the Bible, and if I do go, he beats me. I don t know what to do. I said, I know exactly what to do. And she said, What is that? I says, Invite me over to your house, and I ll talk to your husband. And she said, Well, you don t know. He can be violent. I said, Well, I m used to violent people. And so, she said, I ll ask him.

I ll ask him and see if he ll meet with you. So, a couple weeks went on by, and I didn t see her. And one day, I pulled into, they had these little booths where you used to take your film to drop it off to get it developed. And I think it was called Kodak Booths.

And I pulled up there, and I had some film to get developed. And here, she was working the booth. And she was in there, and she saw me.

She had this great big smile on her face. And I said, Wow. I said, You re looking a whole lot better now.

I said, How are things at home? She says, Pastor. She said, God bless you. And I said, Well, I didn t do anything. I said, You never got back to me. Oh, she said, Oh, yes, you did.

She said, When I went home and told my husband that you wanted to come over and talk to him, from that very moment, he said, Never mind. You don t have to do that. You can go to church. And, Pastor, not only am I going to church, Pastor, he s coming to church with me. And so, this man so did not want to talk to me.

It s really good to be popular, folks. But anyhow, and she was just beside herself, so the Lord really blessed there. Well, let s go on. He says here, Therefore, as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be unto their own husbands in everything. Well, again, women are supposed to be subject and submit to their husbands in everything unless it s contrary to what the Word of God teaches.

And then they do what this woman did. Go see the pastor. Find the real pastor and have him talk to your husband.

Husbands love your wives even as Christ loved his church and gave himself for it. Over the years, I ve done a whole lot of marriage counseling, folks, and I can tell you, it s always the same thing. The husband always says, She doesn t respect me. She doesn t respect me. She doesn t listen to me. And the wife always said, He doesn t love me.

He doesn t love me. Same thing over and over. And again, if they would only subject themselves. You know, here, throughout the Bible, when men were to take responsibility, men had the responsibility to be the heads, and when they failed that, Adam had all of the authority in the world to take the head off that serpent in that garden, but he didn t. Instead, he gave in to his wife, and we ll see why he did that in a minute, maybe. Abraham and Sarah, you know, Abraham, you know, God had told Abraham, Sarah s going to conceive.

Sarah s going to conceive. So Abraham knew that, and then yet, and God had told Sarah herself. But Sarah gets impatient, see, and she convinces Abraham to take anger. Again, he should not have listened to his wife.

He knew better, and boy, look at all the trouble that s caused. But now, on the other hand, you have ladies in the Bible that always were obedient. Hannah was an obedient wife, and she was blessed amongst women. Of course, well, we know how Elizabeth and Mary, two very obedient women to their husbands, and how blessed they were. Boy, if the women of today could just learn that lesson, huh?

And so, I want to go back to where we left off here now. Eve was the very first and the most beautiful woman that the world had ever known. Now, here, we ve always talked about Eve s beauty, and I m going to read a passage from a book called All the Women of the Bible by Lockyer. And this passage starts off by saying Eve was the most beautiful woman the world has ever known. Century after century, women have appeared renowned for their beauty of face and form, but Eve excelled them all. Created by a perfect God, Eve reflected the divine perfection. Hers was no artificial beauty.

No, she didn t need any makeup, ladies, believe me. Face features and form were the loveliest women had ever had. While the Bible has no description of Eve s physical appearance, Adam s first reaction as he saw the lovely figure before him was to give voice to the Earth s first poem.

This, then, is the less, the bone of my bones, the flesh of my flesh. This shall be called a woman, for from man was she taken. And while we have biblical warrant for the beauty of Sarah, now, the Talmudists are saying this, ladies, and it s not me, it s the Talmudists that are saying this. All women in comparison with Sarah are like monkeys in response to men. But Sarah can no more be compared to Eve than can a monkey be compared with man.

John Milton expressed a similar commendation in one of his most daring idioms. Adam, the goodliest man since born, his son s the fairest of her daughter s Eve. And the blind poet goes on to say of the loveliness Adam saw.

So absolute she seems and is herself complete. The Venus of Milo in marble or the Venus of titanium oil only convey faint idea what Eve must have looked like as she came from the creative hand of God. No wonder she has been described as heaven s best last gift. To quote from Milton s Eve again, we read, O fairest of creation, last and best of all of God s works, a creature in whom excelled, whatever can to sight or thought be formed, holy, divine, good, amenable, or sweet. Yet again, Eve s original beauty is expressed in these lines that what seemed fair in all of the world seemed to now mean or in her contained or in her looks.

Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye, in every gesture, dignity, and love. Eve was the first and the only woman born without sin. Being the first woman, Eve had no inherited sin.

Coming from the hand of God, Eve had an advantage no other woman has ever had. She was pure, she was holy, and with a divine image, unpaired, created sinless. Yet she became the world s first sinner and introduced sin to her offspring and thus all sins were born in sin and shaping in iniquity. The best and the holiest born unto the race have natures that are prone to evil. Romans 7 21, in fact, fashioned with innocence and sinless perfection and endowed to all fullness with gifts of body and mind and rich in external blessing without spot or alloy, she transgressed in a sin which has caused Adam to sin. Fresh from the hand of God with the unmatchable grace and beauty of body and mind, sin and ruin followed and paradise was surrendered for a world of thorns, thistles, and tears. And then I want to well get to this other passage here in a minute but now here Eve was the first woman to be assailed excuse me by satan I wanted to go over first to first timothy chapter two in the first timothy chapter two I want to read from verses 9 through 15 in like manner also that women adorn themselves in modest apparel with shame facingness and sobriety not with broided hair or gold or pearls or costly array well same face this means with reverence and modesty but which become with women professing godliness with good works let the women learn in silence with all subjection but I suffer not a woman to teach nor reserve authority over man but to be in silence for Adam was first formed then eve and Adam was not deceived but the woman being deceived was in the transgression notwithstanding she shall be saved in child bearing if they continue in faith and charity and holiness and sobriety so here the bible clearly teaches that the enemy as we see it today why that's as plain as the nose on your face today um we see that uh women the area where the devil attacks them is discernment discernment today I noticed something here that's been a lot of uh this idea that since these smart smartphones have come along here that these women have that's their privacy and their husbands have no right to look upon their phone and to check their text messages that that belongs to them and that's an invasion of their privacy and their husbands have no right this is what they keep promoting well I got news for you ladies your husband has every right not only is it his his right okay uh it's his responsibility to check upon his wife and see what's on that phone and when she's texting and she's laughing and giggling and then he goes to look and see what she's laughing at she turns the phone over very quickly and says it's you wouldn't be interested uh and that's what's going on today that's just another tool the devil and not only does that husband have every right to know what's on that woman's phone but she has every right to know what's on his phone too you the husband and the wife have become one flesh and if not if there's no trust there that marriage will fail and so this is one of the reasons we're seeing so much such an increase in divorce out there today this was what the women considered a new freedom that they can have to live an immoral life and believe me god is fully aware of this folks now here we take a look at that and it says that i suffer not a woman to teach well that that only applies to teaching men it does not apply uh to teaching other women in fact the older women are required the older women are required to teach the younger women to be godly and good wives and and mothers and obedient to their husband and they're also required to teach the younger women to be godly and they're also required to teach their children and so here a lot of people take that that verse out of context but they're required for adam was first formed then eve and adam was not deceived but the woman being deceived was in a transgression again that goes back to and and uh a lot of women will say i i know what the bible says i know what that says right there but i don't agree with it and i said well there's a good reason for that it's a lack of discernment and uh well that's the answer folks now he goes on to say notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith and charity and holiness and sobriety that doesn't mean that by having a baby she gets born again well i think of how many people how many women their losses can be or having illegitimate children one after the other no what he's talking about that the greatest ministry a woman can have is to be a a faithful believer in christ a servant a good wife an obedient wife to their husband and raising their children in the admonition of the lord right directly from the teachings of the bible that's that's what it's saying here and so he's talking about notwithstanding she should be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith charity and holiness and sobriety and so in other words he's saying since eve's transgression because of lack of discernment where she was attacked that women who who uh have have the good the servant and are obedient uh to their husbands who have overcome that with holiness and sobriety and so here we we see over in genesis 3 7 he was the first dressmaker he was the first to have seen and of course we know that she was the first to have sons and she was the first to have a son who was a murderer after cain was banned and able was buried god gave her another son whom she called seth she said for god had gave me another son instead of able for canes through him he was the very first to receive the divine prophecy of the cross we talked about in genesis 3 15 where that would be her redemption but at the same time because of her sin she was the very first mortar he was the first sinner and the very first to see the fruit of her sin as she stood at the graveside of able and so and i wanted to finish by reading very quickly very quickly i mean that okay at the heart of heave's pathetic story however is a moral lesson that a woman has the power for baying or blessing over a man's life if she falls man falls with her how expressive are the what are the verses john white chadwick quotes his chapter on eve in women of the bible a wasteful woman that she may on her sweet self set her own price knowing we cannot choose but pay how she has cheapened paradise how given for not her priceless gift how spoiled the bread and the spill of the wine was spent with dew and respect of thrift she made men grutes and men divine oh queen awaken to thy renown require what is our wealth to give and comprehend and wear the crown of they despised prerogative well we're out of time for tonight but i hope you all learned a lot of things eve was unique in so many ways and uh she was the most beautiful woman that ever lived and she was the oldest woman that ever lived and she was first in so many ways and one of these days when we get to heaven we will be able to see that beauty but we're out of time for we're out of time for tonight and how much time do i have well we're down to about a minute so folks out there remember if you want to see what eve looks like in fact if you want to be there with the lord himself and all the saints there's only one way you can do that you must be born again you must be born again bible doesn't stutter so if you haven't done that now is the night the point of time pray to the father ask for forgiveness of your sin ask the lord jesus to be the lord of your life all of your life without any reservations and if you'll do that and if you mean it you will become a new creature a born-again believer and heir of the kingdom folks and you will be you've got god's word on this god's word you will be on the road to immortality and that's what god has said and god always does what he says uh god is capable he got no restrictions until tomorrow good night god bless and always always always keep fighting now fight thanks for
