This is What's Right, What's Left. I tune in every chance I get to hear exactly what's going on with the voice of the Christian resistance. Unabashedly cutting through the rhetoric by exposing the hard topics facing our society and world.

Thank you. This is What's Right, What's Left with Pastor Ernie Sanders. Well, hello, everyone. I'm Chaplain John McTernan and I'm filling in for Pastor Ernie tonight.

He has really been hit hard with, I guess I'm going to call it the flu. And he asked me if I would sit in for him. And I said that I would. So what I'd like to do is begin this show with prayer for Pastor Ernie. And then I discuss the topic that I wanted to speak upon tonight with him.

And he really liked it. So we're going to be talking about the Blessed Hope, looking for the coming of Jesus Christ. So let's open up with a word of prayer and focus on Pastor Ernie. Father, I thank you for tonight. I thank you for the ability that we're still free on the air to speak the truth and speak your word and present the gospel of Jesus Christ. So I thank you for that, Lord. And we ask for a blessed time tonight as I'm filling in for Pastor Ernie. And we're praying for him now.

I spoke to him today. I think he was better than he had been. But we're asking for the complete healing, especially his lungs, Lord.

They were congested. He was a little feverish, sleeping most of the day. So we're asking for his speedy recovery. We're asking that he could be on the radio tomorrow. And we're asking, Lord, that his voice will be fine.

And he was hurting all over. So we're asking for the relieving of all of that discomfort now in Jesus' name. Amen.

Amen. So what I wanted to talk about tonight was the Blessed Hope. And the Blessed Hope is, well, let me go to the scripture. Let me open up with the scripture.

It will be found in Titus 1.13. Looking for that Blessed Hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. And notice the word says not hope, but Blessed Hope. And that word blessed, when we look at the original Greek, is huge.

It's like a gigantic blessing. So looking for that Blessed Hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Now, when we look at the gospel of our Lord and Savior, of course, of course, what is so important is the cross and the Lord dying on the cross and him shedding his blood to pay the penalty, the price for our sin. The Bibles in Romans 6.23 says the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So there's a penalty for sin and it's death. When the Lord died on the cross, he took that penalty for us. He took the penalty for sin so we don't have to endure that penalty, which has to be paid, folks, in hell. So we don't have to, we'll never go there.

We don't have to worry about that. I mean, we just keep our life focused on Christ and following him and striving for righteousness and holiness and that is our life here and now. However, there's more to the gospel. When Paul gave us the gospel in 1 Corinthians, he said how Christ died for our sins, according to the scripture.

He was buried and rose again the third day, according to the scripture. So the second part of the gospel there, of our salvation, is Jesus Christ bodily rose from the dead. So I look at the gospel here of the Lord's death on the cross and his shed blood as like Christianity 101. And then Christianity 102, if it was like a college course, would be the resurrection.

That's basic. That's fundamental to our faith. So tonight, we're going to look at the resurrection of the Lord, which of course, Resurrection Sunday is approaching.

It's still a little ways off, but it's approaching. And this is that Christ rose from the dead and he's coming for us. That's what the Blessed Hope is.

He rose from the dead and we are now living looking for his return. And there's great power looking for the Blessed Hope. So this verse is in three sections. And the first part is looking for the Blessed Hope and the glorious appearing and that is Christ coming for us. And the second part is of the great God. That's who Jesus Christ is. He is God Almighty that took upon himself the form of a man, the seed of Abraham, as the Bible tells us, and he lived amongst us. He had to live a perfect life without sin to be able to pay the penalty for our sin.

He is the great God. And then it says our Savior, our Savior. Folks, there is no other Savior outside of Jesus Christ.

There are counterfeits. I guess that would be the best way to explain it. But there's only one Savior of mankind. That's Jesus Christ because of that awesome penalty for sin. If we look, if anybody is, well, anyone that proclaims to be a Savior, to follow that person for eternal life, let's say, what about the penalty for sin? It sits there, folks, that man is in rebellion against God, man is under judgment for God, and that God loves us, does not want us to be separated from him in eternity. And he loved us to the point of sending the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. So who could pay the penalty for sin? And if we look outside of Jesus Christ, then we will have to pay the penalty for our own sin, which is horrible, folks.

It's horrible for eternity, separated from God in eternity. So he is our Savior. He is the only Savior. So that's a tremendous verse in scriptures, Titus 2.13, looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Now, I'm going to deviate here a little bit from the way I normally present this, because I want to show you right off the bat how important the blessed hope is. And the first scripture I want to show you is Hebrews 9.28.

And remember I said that Christianity, if you want to break it down to college course, 101 would be the death and the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. And 102 would be his resurrection and living with the blessed hope. So we go to Hebrews 9.28. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many.

That's his first coming. And unto them, now listen to this very carefully, and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. For them that look for him, that is the blessed hope. That's basic Christianity. And if we're not living looking for Christ's coming, and it's also known as the rapture. We're going to get into this a little later with details about the importance of the rapture. But Christianity 102, and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time. So the first coming he came to bear the sins.

The second time it says he'll appear the second time without sin, he's not dealing with sin, unto salvation. And that salvation there folks is the salvation of our body. And again I'm going to show you that a little later, the scriptures about the salvation of our body. And then we are completely redeemed by Christ when we have our new body that is not subject to sin and death. Also, I want to show you the scriptures surrounding Titus 2.13 to show you how important it is for living here today on earth. So we go to Titus 2 and we're going to start at verse 11. And every scripture that I'm reading is all one thought folks.

It's all joined together. So Titus 2.11 says, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath fear to all men. So the grace of God is for us all folks.

It's for everyone that believes in Christ. Now the grace of God teaches us for the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, verse 12, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world. So Christian discipleship, Christian living in this world is taught by the Holy Spirit to deny ungodliness. Now ungodliness means living without God in our life. So I'll give you an example. Someone could have a business and on Sunday they grow close to the Lord, let's say, and have a nice Sunday with the Lord, but then Monday through Saturday God's not in the business.

It's compartmentalized. Denying ungodliness. So that's ungodliness folks.

Whatever area of our life that God's not in, it's ungodliness. And then it says worldly lusts. And again, lust can be deceptive. We could have, of course there are the lusts for, the big lusts that we think of. There could be sexual lusts. There could be lusts for money. There could be lusts for power.

And there could be a lot of things. So worldly lusts are things that grab ahold of us and take us away from God. Worldly lusts. It could be sports. We could make an idolatry in a worldly lust out of sports.

It could be a lot of things folks. So there's nothing wrong per se with sports, but it could become a lust. And the Holy Spirit teaches us that this is a lust.

That we're living ungodly in certain areas of our life. Then it says, in verse 12, we should live soberly. Now that means clear thinking.

Someone that is under the influence of a drug or alcohol does not have a sober mind. Now we think of it maybe with the body, but soberly here is with a clear thinking mind. And righteously. So righteously is we're living our life lined up with God's Word. We're not caught up into worldly lusts.

We're not caught up into... In other words, the world is not taking us over. Righteously and godly. Everything in our life we bring God into. Everything.

Marriage, family, work, or free time, whatever we're doing. Godly. He's the creator of the universe folks. And He wants to bless us. So how can we keep Him out of certain areas of our life? When we bring Him into all areas of our life, there is great, great blessings.

In this present world, right now. And when you look at it, that verse that I just read to you, in fact verse 11 is a comma, and then verse 12 which I just read to you, there's a semicolon, which means these are all, this is all one thought folks. This isn't fragmented. This is all one thought. Now we go to verse 13. Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior.

Then there's another semicolon. And verse 14 says, Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto Himself a special people, zealous of good works. And the 15th verse, I'll save until I'm finished. But if you want to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, if you want to live soberly, righteously and godly in this world, look at the Bible says, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Living for Christ's coming for us has a cleansing effect on us. It's powerful in our life. So if we're living, looking for Christ's return for us, what it does is it works on us. So we're going to deny ungodliness, we're going to bring them into every area of our life and worldly lusts because we're focused on Him coming for us. We should live soberly. And the Bible tells us how to live soberly. We should live righteously. It tells us how to live righteously and godly in this present world.

How? Looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. So this is more than a doctrine, folks. It's an important doctrine.

But this is a living reality. And when we live with that reality, we're going to grow spiritually, folks. We might have our feet in this world, standing in this world, but our mind, our heart, our desires are in heaven.

That's the power of looking for the blessed hope. Then we go to verse 14, who gave himself for us. That's the Lord Jesus. He gave himself for us on the cross that he might redeem us, look at this, from all iniquity. Again, the blessed hope works mightily in us to redeem us through Christ, to redeem us from all iniquity and purify if we're living for Christ coming for us. It's very difficult to be in sin, folks, because one is going to defeat the other. And if we have that love in us, the blessed hope, we are going to have great power from the Holy Spirit to be purified inside. We don't want any part of iniquity. And then it says, zealous of good works. So living with the rapture, the blessed hope, with Christ coming, should energize us with a zeal to do good works. Because we want everybody to be in heaven with Jesus. We want everybody to be redeemed by him.

That permeates us, folks. And then the last scripture, verse 15 says, these things speak and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. So living with the blessed hope, that we should be using to exhort, which I'm really doing tonight, folks. I want to exhort everyone with looking for Christ coming for us, because I'm shortly going to get into him coming for us and what happens afterwards. And rebuke, rebuke means someone that's living worldly and in sin in this world. The way that we rebuke them for the way they're living is how are you going to face Christ at the rapture when he comes for us?

Look what you're doing. So the blessed hope is used to exhort and to rebuke. And it says with all authority. God's given great authority to speak, teach, rebuke the blessed hope. And let no man despise thee. So if anyone doesn't like to hear about the blessed hope, folks, according to Titus 2.15, tough, God's commissioned us to speak, exhort and rebuke about Christ coming, the blessed hope. All right, I want to give that again as a word of exhortation.

And now I want to get back to the main message that I have for tonight. And I want to show you how important hope is. We need, and we don't even really think of this, but we need three things to live physically. We can only live three, five minutes without air. And then we start dying. We can only live depending upon where we are in temperature and all that, days without water, a week, maybe 10 days without water, and then we die physically. And food, we can only live a month and a half without food, and then we die. Well, it's the same spiritually, folks. There are certain things that we have to have spiritually while we die. Now, we're not talking about dying. I'm not talking about dying physically, like without air, but there are things inside of us we can die.

I guess it's best to show you some examples of it. So 1 Corinthians 13, 13 says, And now abideth faith, hope, and love, these three, but the greatest of these is love. Now, tonight, I am not talking about love, but I want to talk about hope, the three main things, faith, hope, and love. We can start dying literally, physically, without hope. These scientists have found this as a medical reaction when people give up hope.

Their body actually responds to it. There can be severe depression without hope. There can be a hopelessness. Without hope, we can become suicidal. Without hope, we can be overcome with sorrow, grief, mourning. Hope, we're meant to live with hope.

God put that in us, hope. So without it, people, they lose joy. They lose the will to live without hope.

And again, this has been scientifically proven over and over again. Hope can really cut your life short, and it can change your body chemistry, set you up for all sorts of diseases and early death. So, hope is critical to us.

Again, the three main ones are love, hope, and faith. And tonight, I'm just zeroing in on hope. Now, I want to give you a definition of hope.

Basically, hope is living with expectation for something. We hope to be married. We hope to have a family. We hope to have a career job. We hope it can be in various ways.

We can hope. And the Bible says where there is no vision, the people perish. And that vision is like anchored in hope. So believers, we should be living with the blessed hope. Our expectation is Christ to come for us, and for us to be with Him in eternity and have a glorified body. That's the blessed hope.

That's our expectations. And if we have that expectation, we can be never knocked off course, folks. We can never lose hope and become overwhelmingly depressed, full of sorrow, grief, mourning, hopelessness. Not with the blessed hope, folks.

Now, I'm taking these right out of the dictionary. Another definition of hope is something to live for. Again, that's in us, folks. That is built into us, hope. We need something to live for. And again, if we come to the point in our life where there's nothing to live for, this is dangerous. This is where depression can set in and hopelessness.

We can fall into a big, deep black hole. Another one is to cherish a desire with anticipation, like getting married. That is anticipating the wedding day. So that brings great hope. To expect with confidence, trust.

That's hope. To expect with confidence. So I have extreme confidence to expect the rapture of the Church for Christ to come for me and to be taken to heaven.

And it says trust. Well, I trust in God's Word. That's like an anchor to my soul, trusting in His Word.

So because I trust in His Word, I can expect with confidence to blessed hope. And this is important, folks, because again, if we don't have hope, it is detrimental. We are built by God to have hope.

Now, the last one is amazing when I read this. It was perfect for the blessed hope. Someone or something on which hopes are centered. Someone or something on which hopes are centered. Well, my hope is centered on God's Word and the coming of Jesus Christ to rapture me and then to take me to heaven.

We're going to cover that shortly about after the rapture what happens. So my hope, every way you look at it in these definitions I gave you, my hope is anchored in Christ's coming, the blessed hope. And therefore, I can't be hopeless. It can't suck the life out of me because it's excitement. It's literally like the groom coming for the bride, folks. And a bride is always living with expectation of marriage day.

And there's excitement in her for the groom coming. So I think we're ready for a break now. Do we have a song lined up? Okay, let's have a little break and then we'll get into the second part of tonight's show.

Go ahead, please, play it. For the world. Begun God sent his own son to the world. This tiny manger. He's my. My. He is my. Not just a baby.

Not just a boy. My. He's my. And this baby's cry through the sky can be heard.

Son of God, son of man, he is salvation's plan for the earth. Now my sins have been atoned. He is rescuing my soul. And showing me that he's. He's my. My. He's my. Not just a baby, your son. He's my. Oh.

Not just a baby, your son. He's my. My. He's my. My. He's my. Amen.

He's my Lord. All right, let's get back to the blessed hope. And when we go to Hebrews chapter 6, starting at verse 18 and 19, it says there are two immutable things in which it is impossible for God to lie. We might have a strong consolation who have fled to the refuge till they hold upon the hope set before us. The hope set before us is Christ coming for us. This is something that cannot never change. It's immutable. Then it says which hope we have as an anchor of our soul, both sure and steadfast.

In this life, we need an anchor, folks. Things can be taken away from us. Things can change radically.

They can be. In fact, we're heading into a time where there's going to obviously is going to be tremendous changes. But as a as a ship needs an anchor in a harbor from the storm or will be wrecked.

So we need an anchor for our life. And it's Christ coming for us. No matter everything can be taken away from us in this life. But what can't be taken away is Christ will come with the blessed hope and we will go with him. We'll have our body changed and we'll be for eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ.

This word, this world is temporal and can change. But it never changes our faith in Christ. And if you're taking notes, another verse is Philippians 320.

For our citizenship is in heaven, and it's exactly what I was just sharing with you. From whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, there's the blessed hope. From whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall change our vile body, that I may be fashioned like unto his. So we're looking for Christ coming for us and that the redemption of our body. That's most important because we can't go into heaven, folks, with a body of sin, a body of death. We can, when Christ redeems our body, it's exactly like his folks, glorified, eternal, always empowered by the Holy Spirit. With that, we want to look at the two most important scriptures, the two sections of scriptures that are most important about the rapture.

The first is found in 1 Thessalonians 4, starting at verse 16. The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. So there is Christ coming.

He's going to shout, which will cause a resurrection, folks. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together. That is where we get the term rapture. Being caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Now verse 17 is very important because when Christ comes for us, his bride, he's going to take us to heaven.

It says to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. The classic second coming of Jesus Christ to earth. He's returning bodily, he's returning with the saints, that's us, and he's returning to Jerusalem to save Israel and then to destroy the armies gathered at Armageddon. There were two phases to Christ's coming. The first phase, he died as a suffering servant, folks.

He died for our sin. But then there is a second coming. So there's two phases. There's his first coming, there's his second coming. In the second coming, there's two phases. He's coming for his bride first, and we're going to be caught up together with him in the clouds, the clouds of believers, to meet the Lord in the air. He doesn't take us to Jerusalem.

Later we return with him. But when he comes for us, and I'm going to show you this shortly, we go to heaven with him. Two phases to the second coming of Jesus Christ. One is the rapture, the other is his bodily return with the saints, the Bible says, to Jerusalem to save Israel and to destroy the armies of the Antichrist that are gathered at Armageddon. Now, the second series of scriptures, which are very important to establishing the rapture doctrine, is found in 1 Corinthians 15, 51. And Paul says here, Behold, I show you a mystery.

Now, the mystery is something that wasn't known and it's being revealed now. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. This is being changed at the rapture, Jesus Christ coming for us.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, so him coming for us is, in our modern language, would be like in a nanosecond. At the last trump, for the trumpet shall sound, that's exactly what 1 Thessalonians 4 said, and the dead shall be raised. So the dead are raised first, incorruptible, so that's the new body, the glorified body.

This is the blessed hope, folks. This is what eternity is about, and we shall be changed, for this incorruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So, us, people listening to me, some of us, most of us, I don't know, are going to be alive at Christ's coming for the rapture. And what will happen is, when he gives the command, the dead shall be raised and they shall have a glorified body. Immediately following that, our body, our mortal body now, will be changed. We won't have, like, go through death and resurrection. We will have a, our body will be changed so it is immortal. It won't be subject to, this is incorruptible, that means we're subject to death, that means we're subject to injury, that means we're subject to disease and things like that. Our eternal body, which is just like Jesus Christ, is not subject to any of that.

It's an eternal body, free of any type of things we're subject to here. So this is the blessed hope, folks. I just shared with you in 1 Thessalonians 4 and 1 Corinthians 15 here, what the blessed hope is, what we're living for. That we will be with Jesus Christ, He's coming for us, He's coming for us and we live looking for His coming. That anchors, is anchored to our body now, it's anchored to our life here. That we are not subject then to death and decay, we'll be with the Lord forever.

But this is just the beginning. What happens after Jesus Christ comes for us and we go to be with Him? And it's interesting that I ask that question because most of the, I'm going to call it rapture preaching, like I'm doing now, kind of ends with the Lord coming for us, which is wonderful.

I mean, if it ends there, that's fine, but there's more to it. And when we look at scriptures, what happens is, when the Lord comes for us, what He does is, He takes us into heaven before the Father sitting on the throne in heaven. And that's where we go to the book of Revelation. So we go to Revelation chapter 4, and there's a description of God the Father on the throne.

It's more in colors, folks. There's like precious stones that have colors, and that's how John the Apostle is trying to describe, as he's looking at God, these beautiful colors. And then there's, it's a description of the throne and what's around the throne. And actually, I want to go what's before the throne, and it's a crystal sea of glass before God's throne. And then when we go to verse 5, that's where we are. We're before the throne on this crystal sea of glass. And in verse 9, there's like the chorus of heaven breaks out, and they're singing a new song to Jesus Christ.

And part of that song is, and you are worthy because you have died and redeemed us by your blood from every tribe, every language, every people, and every nation. All the redeemed, all the angelic realm are there, and they're singing a new song to the Lord. That's kind of immediately what happens after the Lord raptures us.

It's exciting, folks. We're all there before the Lord. And then the Bible says after the, or actually part of that song, the new song, and it says, And you will make us kings and priests on the earth. So God promises us that during the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, during His, the millennial means a thousand, His kingdom that He promised Israel will be for a thousand years, that He's going to be using us as we were faithful here on earth as kings and priests.

Also, it tells us, we see it in other scriptures, that He will be using us as judges. We're going to be judging angels, and we're going to be judging certain people for their rewards. So these are some of the things that we're going to be doing after Jesus Christ comes for us. But the real good news that I wanted to highlight here is another hope for us, and that's called the marriage supper of the Lamb.

So we go before the throne, we're before the Father, and we have a new song which we're singing. And folks, we're no longer referred to as the church, but it's the bride. And when Jesus Christ comes for us, it's literally like the groom coming for his bride. Now, when it talks about us being the bride of Christ, folks, that is spiritually speaking.

That is, and I'll reinforce it, it's spiritually speaking. So after we're before the throne, and we're on the sea of glass, the next scripture, or the major event, is we're at the marriage supper of the Lamb. That starts at Revelation 19.6. And this scripture goes like this. And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Alleluia, for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. So this is that massive redeemed of the Lord. This tremendous multitude.

The Bible says that no man can number. Then verse 7 says, Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him, for the marriage supper of the Lamb has come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Now, this marriage on earth is, I'm going to say, like an image in heaven. And I've preached this message in many, many places, folks.

In Pakistan and in East Africa, in Kenya and South Sudan, Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, the Congo, Rwanda, and Nigeria. And the cultures are really all the same, folks, to our marriage here. There's great excitement as the marriage is set. And the women in particular, they work meticulously for the wedding. They want it perfect. They want the bride dressed perfectly. They want good music. They want fine food.

They want the arrangements set where close friends and family sit together. They want it to be a special, special, special day. And that's the way heaven is, folks.

It's special. We are the Lord's bride. He died on the cross and shed his blood to pay the penalty for our sin. And Hebrews 12.2 says, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of power on high. He endured the cross for us, folks.

Amazing. He did it with joy that we could be his bride for eternity. So it says there that the wife has made herself ready.

That's exactly what happens on earth. Verse 8. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white. For the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. That white linen represents our righteousness.

And folks, our righteousness is of Jesus Christ. No one will be at the marriage supper of the Lamb without that garment on, just like at the wedding. The bride wants to be beautifully arrayed, while here in heaven at the marriage supper of the Lamb, she has fine linen, clean and white. And that represents the righteousness of Jesus Christ. So the only way to have that clean and white is through Christ's righteousness. And that's the only garment that will be allowed, folks, is through Jesus Christ.

Exactly like here on earth, though, a beautiful wedding gown. Well, God has a beautiful wedding gown planned for us. Revelation 19, 9. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. So we have a double blessing.

Every believer in Jesus Christ, everyone that has repented of their sin and confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and believe he rose from the dead, they will be dressed in fine, clean, white linen in heaven. And the Bible says, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. So right now we have the blessed hope. Looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ, and connected with that, directly connected with it.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. So we have a double blessing. We're living with the blessed hope. And then our expectation is when Christ comes for us, we're going to go, not directly, we're going to go to the throne first, before the Father. And then we go to the blessed hope. Excuse me, we have the, we're blessed by the marriage supper of the Lamb. And this starts, or I guess you would say, like our eternal life in heaven with Jesus Christ.

But that doesn't end there. We do return with him. We're called the armies of heaven. The prophet Zechariah saw in Zechariah 14 five, he saw the Lord coming and all the saints with him.

That's us folks. That's his bride, all the saints from heaven coming with him. And we are there with the Lord. We watch as he destroys the Antichrist and his armies gathered together at Armageddon. We are there, we see when he destroys the armies gathered to destroy Jerusalem and the Jews. We're there when the Lord establishes his kingdom reign here on earth. So we do all that.

We're with him. But what I want to share tonight, and I have to go quickly folks on this, is the Bible tells us where we're going to spend eternity. And that eternity is in what the scripture calls the New Jerusalem. And the Bible does give great details about the New Jerusalem, but it just tells us about the beauty of it.

It's massive inside. There's 12 foundations. There's gates. These foundations are all again described through beautiful jewels. Gates of pearls. The streets are like gold, but they're clear.

They're clear gold. It's very, very beautiful. And there's no sun, because it's the light of Jesus Christ. His glory is going through all of these beautiful colors, and it's going to be like a tremendous jewel, folks. Can you imagine with all these beautiful colors the Bible describes, and then the glory of Jesus Christ shining through it. It'll be breathtaking.

It's undescribable. That is our eternal abode in the New Jerusalem. That's our future, folks.

We have our body that is just like Jesus Christ, never die, never disease, nothing ever breaks like that. We'll have our abode, our home, our dwelling, will be in the New Jerusalem. We will be one with God who is love.

Any love that we have on earth is like a billion times more with God in heaven. So folks, I believe I'm running out of time here now, and I wanted to close with a prayer and a word of exhortation. If you realize you have not been living with the blessed hope, you have to repent, folks, and come back. Because that worldliness, not living with the blessed hope, can drain your faith out. It can drain you, and you become just like the world.

You can lose joy in all sorts of things. Living with the blessed hope is the anchor to our soul. It'll fill us continually with joy.

The Creator of the universe through Jesus Christ is coming for us. We're going to have a glorified body for eternity. We'll be at the marriage supper of the Lamb.

We'll have the New Jerusalem. So you have to repent of that and get back and get your focus right. Maybe you're listening and never trusted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You can't go and be at the marriage supper of the Lamb and have eternal life. So in heaven, they're singing a song and they say, You were slain and redeemed to God by your blood from every tribe, every language, every people, and every nation.

Heaven's open to everybody, folks, whosoever. But you must trust Jesus Christ. The penalty for sin must be paid. And trusting Jesus Christ means repenting of sin, living a life without Him. That means you're living in sin.

Do an about face. You're going to repent of that. Live your life centered on Him and His Word. Then confessing Jesus Christ, God sent Him in love. He was without sin. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin. He shed His blood and did pay the penalty. Then He rose from the dead, bodily rose from the dead.

And He's coming again. That's really the essence of the gospel, folks, but that repentance is so important. And giving your will by repenting and turning to God and living with Jesus Christ and His Word as your Savior. If you do that, you have assurance of eternal life forever. You will be at the marriage supper of the Lamb. You will be at all those events when the Lord returns. And then you will have your final home will be in the New Jerusalem. So, God bless everybody. And hopefully Pastor Ernie will be back tomorrow night. And we hope to see you all tomorrow. What's Right, What's Left Ministries and is responsible for its content.
