Good evening, and welcome to another edition of What's Right, What's Left—the voice of the well, the legendary Christian resistance on this 27th day of. October 2026, right? Right.
Okay. And tonight, my producer for the entire while is Mr. Style. Hey, Style. Hey.
Okay. He's here. Already. And live here in the studio is the research lady, Kathy Brady.
So good to be here. And here and down in.
Southeastern Ohio, around the Cushton area, I believe, is my good old friend Pastor Bill Dumpy. Hey, Bill, are you there? I'm here, brother. How you doing, Pastor Ernie? I'm doing, ready to roll for tonight.
And so, yeah, the the title of my message was, "I fought a good fight. I finished my course." And I have kept the faith, and I'm going to pick it up. You know, well, I'm going to go over a little bit. I did a number, some commentary, and we were talking about some of those folks that were complaining. They were saying they were going to stay home because of the high gas prices.
They couldn't vote for a Democrat, but they're so mad about the high gas prices they were going to stay home. And so I did a little commentary on that, and. It starts off by saying, "I'm sickened by the whining of some of those Trump supporters who are saying that they're going to stay home and not vote because of the high gas prices." Whatever happened to when the going gets tough, the tough get going? And by the way, have they forgot that we hit five dollars a gallon under Biden, right? But and so I go ahead and I say, Bill.
Have you so quickly forgotten about the closed borders? Our borders are closed. Our borders are closed. Okay. Have you forgotten about the illegal, criminal, murderers, the rapists, the child molesters, the fraudsters, and like that?
The Joe Biden brought in to turn loose upon us.
Okay. Have you already forgotten how the The brightest and the best were purged from our military because they refused to have COVID kill shots forced upon them because they would not accept lesser person status for refusing having transgender or LGBTQ or drag queens. Remember the Mullins. And what's his name had drag queens performing in the schools on the bases on the military bases? He had allowed drag queens in there.
They allowed him at those U.S.O. shows. Have you forgotten about the DEI and the woke and all of that? Have you forgotten about the J6 Patriots? Has spent four years, in the communist-run filthy jails and prisons, for exercising their First Amendment rights.
Have you forgotten about Ashley Babbitt, who was murdered by a dirty, cowardly cop, a Democrat cop, named Michael Byrd? Ashley was an unarmed young patriot lady. Have you forgotten about Roseanne Boylan? Who was literally beaten to death by another dirty cop, Leila Morris, and then trampled underfoot by angry protesters? Jake Lane tried to cover her with his own body, but she was too far gone already.
And have you forgotten about the pro-life protesters who were jailed for simply? Praying outside those bloody whorehouses of death called abortion mills, especially in Washington D.C., some of those people were friends of mine, and the one woman was a Holocaust grandmother, a Holocaust survivor, Holocaust survivor for praying outside an abortion mill. They got her ten years. They tried to sentence her for, and. Have you forgotten about the parents that were arrested at school board meetings for protesting boys in the girls' showers?
Remember, do you remember that one father that was arrested and beaten by security at a school board meeting? His daughter. Had been raped in the shower by a young boy, who was having a girl day. He decided he was a girl, and then when he got into the shower with these naked girls, he he remembered he was a boy.
Okay, and went after. And this this man was. Protesting, he was speaking to the school board, and they tried to silence him. When he wouldn't be silenced, he was literally beaten up by security and hauled out of there.
Okay, and now I went to one of these school board meetings, and I guarantee you, they weren't going to try that. The security would have been beaten up.
Okay, they definitely would have been beaten up if they had tried to remove us. But anyhow. All remember who was it that said that all that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing, and so we're going to start tonight in Hebrews chapter eleven, and in verse thirty is where we left off, and so we'll take it. Are you ready, Bill? Take it a verse at a time.
Yeah. Sure.
Okay. Yep. By faith, the walls of Jericho fell down after they were compassed about seven days.
Now, just picture this, right? You're out there with Joshua. It's a in the hot sun, and you're marching around Jericho. It's a huge place, right? And people up on the walls are down there and they're yelling, "What kind of fools are you, people?
You know what? Do you what do you think you're doing?
Okay." So I would imagine after a couple days of doing it, some of those marchers might start having doubts. What do you think, Bill? Yeah, there's no doubt about it. They're wondering what in the world are we doing? You know, what's the point in all this?
And yeah, at some point in time, that there had to be the the questioning of the leadership at the moment.
So the Lord was testing testing those people too, wasn't He? And so yeah. Anyhow, but boy, when the walls come tumbling down, there were a whole lot of people that were in for an extremely rude awakening, huh? Yes, there was. There certainly was, but there was one that was prepared and that positioned herself just right.
Well, that was Rahab the harlot.
Now, Rahab.
Now here she took a chance. Harlots in those days were stoned a lot. She was a prostitute. Of course, prostitutes were accepted there. But she, she believed in God.
I mean, she believed in God to the point where she was willing to risk her life if, if she had been caught, her and her family wouldn't have died a slow death, would they? That would have been that's treason. That they would have been put on display and out there and really tortured. But she had faith in God, and in fact, she ended up being in the lineage, the line of the Lord Jesus Himself. Huh?
That's correct. Yeah, yeah. It shows God's mercy and grace to each and every one who who is willing to receive it. Absolutely. And what shall I more say?
For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon. Remember where Gideon was when the Lord came to see him, and he said, "Gideon, O man of valor, do you remember what Gideon was doing?" Yeah, he was in the wine press there. Stomping out some meager, some meager meals for his family. He was hiding down. He he said to the Lord, "Do you see what I'm doing?
You know me." And the Lord says, "No, you're going to be bold, right?" And he said, "I want a sign, man. I want some. I want a sign." And and so, the Lord gave him a sign, and and he became bold, right. He ended up. He ended up going, taking three hundred men out and battle against what what close to fifty thousand.
And anyhow, so he goes on to say, and and and Barrack, do you remember who Barrack was? Remember the only woman judge, Deborah. Oh yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. So Barrack, Barrack said, look.
You know, I got to fight a war out here, and I can't fight a war and I can't judge people at the same time. I can't do both. I can do one or the other, right? And remember who he was chasing down, and so anyhow, so he says, "Hey, you're a pretty smart woman, Debbie.
So why don't you go ahead? You judge the people, and let me take care of the war." And he did a pretty good job doing that. And then you had. Samson. We all know who Samson was.
Okay, what do you think about Samson? There, Samson was a guy. He he had strong faith, but boy, when he messed up, he messed up big, didn't he? He certainly did. He certainly did.
You know, and you look at it. You look at it with the Nazarite vow upon his life and everything else, and how he violated the Nazarite vow. But but the Lord had a calling upon his life and a purpose for him, and. You know, ultimately, ultimately, that he stayed, he he stayed true to it, fulfilled it, and you know, he took out more Philistines in his death than he did at any point in time of his life. You know, so yeah, God used him mightily.
Yeah, he he absolutely did, and he he learned. Not to trust that woman, Delilah. Yeah, okay. And then you had, and the prophets, who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions.
Well, Samson was one of those to stop the mouth of a lion, and so was Daniel. But they did it in two completely different ways, didn't they? Yes, they did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. When you deal with it, you know, one of the instances there, but the lion did the bear.
But the other ones, when he was thrown in the lion's den, that you know, the Lord stopped him out of that lion, you know, by just simply honoring. Honoring Daniel's faith through the process, answered his prayers. He, yeah, he, yeah, yeah, yeah. Quenched, he quenched the violence of fire.
Well, that would have been Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Huh? Yeah, yeah. Escaped the edge of the sword.
Well, that would have been King David on a number of occasions. And out of weakness was made strong, waxed valiant. In the fight, turn to fight the armies of the aliens. You think that we will be soon fighting the armies of the aliens here in this country? Yeah, yeah, I do believe so.
I believe that it's um that it is um gearing up. You know that um. When you take a look at what's occurring and what's happening, you know all across our nation, and and with the invasions that we've dealt with, and you know you look at the rise of of Islam and Sharia, and you know that there's, it's just going to it's going to have to be dealt with. You know that's just all there is to it. Women receive their dead raised to life again.
That would been the widow at Zarephath, huh? When when Elijah came and said, "Fix me some some dinner, women," and she said, "We're out of food. This is my death meal, right here, my son and I." He says, "Give it to me." He's suddenly dying, and they prayed over him, and then. He told her to go ahead. You better go ahead and check your utensils out there because you got plenty of flour.
You got plenty of oil, and boy, she she was kind of happy. She didn't have to go shopping. You know, the Lord filled them up, didn't they? And so, so he raised his son from the dead. And and received women, raised their dead to life.
Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance from the. That they fight, obtain a better resurrection.
So he's talking here about these are the Old Testament prophets. We're all Jewish people, and if you read, remember the Maccabees. The Maccabees were they died to the last man, but they were told by the Romans, "All you have to do is deny your God. Just deny your God, and not only would you get not be killed." But you will be given money. They they offered the Maccabees a good purse, and their freedom if they would just deny God, and they refused, and they were tortured and killed.
And so, and of course, the Jews were the first actually became the first to become Christians, and the others had trial of of cruel mockings. And scourgings, yeah.
Well, we know the apostles did, moreover of bonds and imprisonment. They were stoned. Stephen was stoned, and there were others, and were sawn asunder. Isaiah was sawn asunder by Manasseh, and and were slain, and by the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, and tormented.
When you read about this and you think about these these folks, they didn't even have the King James Bible. They didn't have what we have, did they?
Okay. So Jesus, what did Jesus have? Those that have not seen yet believed.
Okay. And we have all of their experiences. We have that literally spelled out to us, and yet we have people that are so blind. They've got eyes, but they can't see. The scriptures literally spelled out for them, and they don't believe.
Huh? That's correct. Yes. Yeah, you know, and the thing of it is, is this, is that many of our many of our pastors and pulpits have um have have disregarded and discarded the Old Testament. You know that um it all to them it all begins and ends in the New Testament.
Um, you know, they don't see Christology in the Old Testament, and um, you know, and they think that they think that God got that God was born again in the New Testament, and so you know they just Psalms and Proverbs, and then let's pick up in Matthew.
Well, it began with the Lord Jesus. You know, you have the marching order there. God the Father always gave the orders. God the Son always carried a mountain. The Holy Ghost always provided the power.
So in the beginning, you see that exactly taking place. God the Father giving the instructions. Lord Jesus was the creator. He was creating, and the Holy Ghost was right there providing the power from the beginning.
Okay, so there Abraham in the plains of Mamre. Who was it? It was. The Lord Jesus and two angels, sitting there having bread with him. But all and who was it that came up to Gideon?
Who was talking to Gideon? Who was the Lord Jesus Himself? Remember Joshua when Joshua said, "Are you with me or against me?" And the Lord says, "Take off your shoes, you're standing in the presence of me.
Okay, I'm the Captain of the Host." And Gideon soon took off his shoes. Right, he says, of whom the world was not worthy, wandered in deserts and in mountains and in dens and caves of the earth. Remember, when Jezebel was out to get all the prophets, and they were hidden by fifties in the different caves and fed. It is all having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise. Remember, Bill, when the Lord Jesus said that men born of men born of women, which was pretty much for Republicans as all of us, okay, Democrats.
Now they they come up with some new things nowadays, but of men born of women. There was none greater than John the Baptist.
Okay, and yet John the Baptist was least. He was not as good as one born again believer.
Okay, and a lot of people want to know what does what does that mean.
Well, here it is. And no, and these all having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise. God having provided some better thing for us, that they, without us, should not should be made perfect. What is he talking about? He's talking about the new covenant.
The new covenant.
Okay, you hear that in Jeremiah thirty-one thirty-one. But if I go over here to Hebrews chapter seven, in Hebrews chapter seven. Verse twenty-two. By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament, and they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death, but this man, because he continueth, even hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able to also to save them to the uttermost, that come into God, by seeing that he ever liveth to make intercession, and that's what he said.
When he was talking about the Old Testament saints, wouldn't have been come in. They had to wait for us, and if hadn't been for us, they wouldn't have made it in. But then he says in chapter eight, verse seven. For if the first covenant had been Faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second, for finding fault was with them. He saith, "Behold, the days come," saith the Lord, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah." One of those two houses came to all of those in the first church, all the first Christians, not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that when I took them out of the hand.
To lead them out of the land of Egypt, because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws here. We go. He's going from the letter of the law to the spirit of the law. He's going from the law to grace.
He said, I will. Put my laws in their mind and write them in their hearts, so I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, "Know the Lord," for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, a new covenant he hath made; the first old now that which decayeth and waxes old is ready to vanish away.
So there you go, and that was that was what he was talking about. A lot of people say, "What does that mean?" There in Hebrews, the last two verses in Hebrews eleven, and that's what it means.
So, and that's the end of that. We're going to be. Back right after this, be right back with more. Oh, let's cheer for saints, let the whole world hear. There's a message of faith coming loud and clear from Independence, Ohio.

What's left? Stand for Christ, stand for truth, stand for liberty, stand for decency, for independence, Ohio. Let the faithful proclaim Jesus Christ is Lord.
Alrighty, we are back, and I have with me Pastor Bill Dumphy.
Now, Bill, you know that entire their song could be summed up in just one verse, right out of Romans chapter twelve, verse one. To use our bodies for our reasonable service, and it's reasonable. And what do you think would have happened if, if the pastors in this land, if the pastors had listened to that, if the pastors had been obedient, if the pastors had had the courage, do you think we'd have a hundred and fifty million dead babies? No, we no, we certainly would not. If that's for certain, you know, and you know, we wouldn't have to have lived and be living under, under the you know, especially under the previous administration, the tyranny and everything else that we've had to deal with along the way, you know, because of the fact that that you know, we wouldn't be elevating wicked and evil men into positions of authority.
Instead, that the righteous would rule and the people would be able to rejoice, if the pastors were fully, fully doing what it is that they're responsible to be doing and called to be doing. And that is, you know, educating, teaching, equipping. Ephesians four says he places this there for the purpose of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, till we all come into the unity of the faith. And Jude tells us that we are to earnestly to contend for the faith that has been handed down to us. And so, yeah, yeah, we're in the mess that we're in.
Babies have been slaughtered. And continuing to be slaughtered, little boys and girls are being mutilated. Children are being abducted up off of our streets. We're a sex addict nation, and the list goes on and on and on because of the fact that, unfortunately, that the pulpits have failed. The pastors have abandoned their responsibility, and and you know that seminaries and you know the professors across the Bible colleges and so on and so forth.
And the pastors, that the pulpits have all been infiltrated, and the enemy is infiltrated, and each and every one of these places of, whether it's higher learning or or you know Christian leadership, to the point that where these are the consequences of it. You know, so the question just simply becomes, where do we go from here? What do we, you know, where do we go from here? And the answer is this: is that that we got to get to the point in Second Chronicle seven fourteen. We know that everyone knows that well.
I'm sure your listening audience knows it well. That you know that we need to get to the point to where it is that that we humble ourselves and pray and turn from our wicked ways and look unto the Lord and seek His seek His face and not His hand. And knowing that in so doing that He'll hear us from heaven and He'll come down and heal our land. And you know, but we've got to align ourselves with the Lord. You know, he said, "If you love me, you'll keep my commandments." My commandments are not burdensome.
And the pastor has a responsibility to teach and to instruct and to equip those who those who take the name of Christ to do such. And even you know, the reality of it is, brother Ernie, is this: is that that we have the responsibility, even even in in In the in the public arena to do those things, we're to be salt and light. You know that we have the responsibility to go into the highways and byways. The Great Commission, it doesn't just begin and end in the church. It's got to be carried out, and and it even gets carried into politics, which is.
You know, one of those dirty notions that the clergy, the pastors, and laity don't even want to consider and hear about because they they bought into the lie of separation of church and state.
Well, I just had a conversation with a man last night who attends one of the mega churches, and the pastor of that church tells people that politics is dirty, not not to get involved with, and and so. And we have too many of that. We we had a times there were when you talk about Second Chronicle seven fourteen, you know, the Word of Faith movement says that repentance is not necessary, not even necessary for salvation, right? Yeah, yeah. And so, but you and I, I on my door there, I have a.
Black robed, it hangs, and I do. I put it on every year when we preach, and whenever we preach an election or message, my election message. But that that you and I are members of the Black Robed Regiment, and the Black Robed Regiment started a long, long time ago. They were the ones. They were real men of God, real men of God, and who led this nation in the battle for our independence, and they did it.
Right from God's Word to King James Bible, right here, and and so this is what and this is you remember we did the shake the nation tours and then and there and we were going around trying to get the pastors excited and and finding out you know that and they did it for a little while, but the comfort zone. What you talked about is the how they become effeminate and. I remember they when the movement started. I remember back. I'm a older than you are.
Back in the 60s, when they had that enlightenment movement that came from Tubingen, Germany. There, they started in the university and spread over here. And it was teaching pastors how to become in touch with their feminine part.
Okay, this was a, and I remember what a horrible thing.
Okay, that they're doing. It's where you got all this evangelicalism.
Okay, or the neo the neo evangelicalism is what I mean. This I want to be sweeter than Jesus movement where they they forgot how to be men. They were forgetting how to be men and be bold. You know, and you know what should have happened. Here, here's what should have happened.
Okay. In 1962, when they expelled God from the public schools, those pastors in this country should have marched on Washington D.C. They should have put that court that was only supreme in its rebellion against God on trial for treason against God. That's what the pastors—that was their duty to do. That they failed.
They failed. They stayed comfortable, and then it was even worse in '73, when they declared God dead. They literally said, "This court has now." Said, "What God has made unlawful, we will make legal. If you purchase a license, okay, with mammon, we would, we will allow you to transgress God's dominion and destroy the image of God. If you, if you buy a license from us, that's what they did.
That's what they did.
Okay, and the pastors really should have rose up. We want there was a hundred of us, but there should have been a hundred thousand of us." They went to D.C. to protest.
Okay, and but they failed. They failed. And I and I would I remember how many because you know, you know me on the radio. I didn't cut them any slack. I went after them.
In fact, I and some of them out there that were telling their people not to listen to me. And I I had where I was going to send them. A pair of pink bloomers, and then announced the name who was going to get the pink bloomers this week.
Okay, boy, and that shut them up. I didn't get any of them. That really shut them up quickly.
Okay, but there, and so, so saying all that, we said all that to say this that we're going to be reviving the black robe regiment. We're going to give it a try, aren't we? Yes, we are, brother. We are, and I'm excited about it. You know, when you talk about when you talk about masculinity and and valor and courage and what's required, you know, from pastors.
I'm in the pulpit, and you know, and and you take a look at you take a look at the Revolutionary War, even the Great Awakening with George Whitfield, but then you come along and you take a look at Peter Muhlenberg and Jonas Clark, you know, and and then you go over and you deal with King George, and you know, he called you know he called the pastors, the clergy, you know, of the colonies, called the clergy's the leader of the the leaders of the rebellion. And the reason that they were being called the leaders of the rebellion is out there because they was they was laying the groundwork, educating educating the colonists, if you would please, concerning the fact that the liberty, both civil, public, and personal and religious liberties, are from God, and that that no man can give them to us, and that they need to be defended, and that you know that that to defy tyrants is obedience to God, and when they Were taxation without representation? That these things were oppressive, and you know, and the encroachment upon, and so you know, the pastors are out there educating the people, and and even before we had a Benjamin Franklin or Thomas Jefferson out there, that you know, that was. Was getting the groundwork ready as far as preparing for the Declaration of Independence and leading into the Revolutionary War. That that these pastors, these pastors, was teaching and educating that all men are created with certain inalienable rights: the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
And and you know, and so that you know, they they were the ones that were stoking the flames of of righteousness and liberty. In the hearts of the of the colonists, to the point where it was that they weren't going to be oppressed, that they weren't going to be submissive to a tyrant that that was wanting to confiscate their their their possessions, their wealth, and to take their liberties and their freedoms from them. And so, you know, they led the charge. In fact, of the matter is, as many of the many of the pastors, you know, during the Revolutionary War, they signed up. They signed up to be the chaplains, and you know.
You had many that also that became militia leaders of the regions that they were in, and then some like Peter Muhlenberg that signed up. To be in the Continental Army under George Washington and listen, so so that spirit, that spirit's got to be revived. That's what's lacking today in America is that you know that that that that regiment spirit, that heroic, that courageous spirit that makes a difference and is a protector and a provider and a defender of the the liberties and the freedoms that is bestowed upon us by our. Creator has to be defended, and so these these men done it. They done it well.
They were educated. They were informed. They were courageous, and they were willing to sacrifice it all. And I, you know, and I kind of it parallels to the spirit of the prophets, and both the Old Testament. We see it in John the Baptist, and we see it in the disciples.
That um, you know, that the spirit of the prophets are such that them they didn't they didn't back down from the kings, you know, they didn't back down from the evil, wicked rulers and so on, you know. Fact of matter is, you have Nathan that comes along and confronts David and said that them, you are this man, and these things have got to be revived in our pulpits today, and we got to be we got to be educating um, you know, our people, the body of Christ, to make them. An informed electorate, so that whenever they do go and vote, and they do go cast their ballots, that they're doing intelligently and not doing it based on someone's looks or their parents or the first of this or the first of that or whatever it is. But yes, we do want to. We're going to.
We're not going. We want to. We're going to revive. We're going to revive the regiment in Ohio, and we're looking for pastors. Who understand it and get it that the times that we're living in, as the men of this car, able to discern what needs to be done, and that that are are courageous enough under the the power of the Holy Spirit to to be a voice to speak out against.
The evils and the wickedness, and to be willing to jeopardize even you know their own congregations to the point where it is that they may lose some of their people for finally getting back to the truth and getting out there and and leading, leading the way that Christ has called us to lead.
So, you know, one of the ways that people can get in touch with us as we as we get this thing going is they can go to you know if it's a pastor out there that's interested in it. Or you know that there's just Christian patriot that is interested in knowing more about it. They can go to B R R, which is Black Robe Regiment, B R R U S A dot org. And when you get on there, there's a it's easy to follow through. But they can sign the Gideon pledge.
When they sign the pastor signs the Gideon pledge, that that somebody will get a hold of them. And if it's in Ohio, I'll get a hold of them. And talk to them, and then we'll begin to build a relationship and be able to move forward. And you know, so so if it's the Patriot Pledge, it's the same. You don't have to be a pastor.
You just simply say, you know what? That I want to be a defender of liberty and freedom and the rich heritage that we have as Americans, and I want to be alongside of individuals who who are are endeavoring to do such things, and also to Be able to be a part of a group that them stands on the on the full gospel of Jesus Christ unashamedly to the point that them they're able to come along and to be a part of it.
So that fellowship exists. And brother Ernie, I'm looking forward to you and I being able to get together with a few of the other brethren along the way and to begin to plan how we move forward and you know make this thing work and get to shake the nation and see if we can't. Do something significant in the times in which it is we're living, for the purpose of preserving liberty and freedom for posterity, and also rescue those that are perishing and being led to the slaughter. And and that's a command. It's not a suggestion, isn't it?
Proverbs twenty four ten through twelve. Yeah, and that's yeah. That's correct. And that's what I was explaining to this man last night. That the church he was attending, the mega church, the pastor of that church, when questioned about that verse, why don't why aren't you active in the pro life movement?
Because he said he wouldn't. He wouldn't get out there and they. He wouldn't suggest anyone go protest abortion. It's legal, okay. And when he was questioning, that let me finish my questions with that verse.
He said that that's not literal. That's spiritual. No, no, that's not that. That means exactly what it says. But go ahead.
I'm sorry. No, no, I'm sorry, brother. I really am. But you know, one of the things that really, that really gets me, you know, actually gets, you know, it, it. It gets under my craw, if you would.
Is this is these individuals that say that you know that it's the law of the land, and that you know that that it's permissible, and that this you know that the courts have determined all this other stuff, and you know we got to obey the laws of the land, and so on and so forth. These same individuals and these same pastors and these same churches turn around and they send missionaries to these communist countries, to China and. Such you know, smuggling Bibles and taking Bibles in and everything, and and it's all right and it's good, but the problem of it is, is this is that um it's so full of hypocrisy that um you know that their argument falls falls apart because wait a minute, you're breaking the laws of their land and doing it doing it honorably, okay, and bragging about it. But when we come over here in the United States of America, and you have a killing center right down the street, and you you want to you want to clear your conscience by saying, well, it's legalized, so we can't do anything about it. You know, you're talking out both sides of your mouth.
And the reality of it is, is this, is that one of two things. Number one is you may be a coward, and you're not courageous enough to go out and do something about it. Or the other thing is this: is that that you're you're afraid of the impact it will have upon your congregation, and your offering plates will get sick. And you know you know going to lose attendance. You're going to lose your status amongst your denominational peers, or the people's going to leave the church.
And so, for the sake of appeasing your own conscience, you come up with a with a worthless excuse that doesn't hold any water whatsoever. You know, so I debated. It's going to be called out. I debated a prissy preacher on that one time, and his he came off. He says.
My Bible doesn't tell me that I'm to disobey the government. You know what does Acts five twenty eight say? We must obey God rather than man. But he said, "Yeah, no place that does it tell me." I said, "Let me ask you a question: Have you ever heard of the prison epistles?" He said, "Of course." I said, "Why do you think they were called epistles?" He said, "Because the apostles were. They were in prison.
Were they in prison for obeying God or the government?" Well, you're making a good point. I may have to change my position. Really, dummy. Anyhow, you know, and these guys are so afraid. I remember hearing a pastor saying, "You shouldn't, you know, any of these pastors that have gotten arrested out there for being, you know, they're disobedient.
It's a bad name upon the church, right?" And well. I guess you'd have to be put a bad name upon Jesus Himself, Paul, Peter, all the apostles. They were all arrested, right?
Now, some of these prison preachers they're so afraid of being arrested. You and I've been arrested on many occasions, okay? And we learned how to do like the Paul says, you know, do it from when you can and when you can't, you know. And so here we did the the jail and prison ministry from both. Sides at the bar, didn't we?
Okay, yeah, we did. Yeah, you know, brother, I went. I went to prison for standing up for liberty and freedom and free and fair elections, and you know, a thirty month prison sentence out of it. And you know, one of the things is this: is that I dealt with the fallout from false shepherds and false pastors, and so on. You know, but the reality of it is, is this: is that that the Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart.
My life that I had responsibility to go out there and to be a defender of freedom and liberty and to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ and to call a nation to repentance and that to be able to to lead you know in front of the Capitol building to lead a prayer of repentance for on behalf of a nation and also to be able to hopefully to interact with our legislators and Lord says come let us reason together I wanted to be able to reason with them and say you know why is it that That you know that we're allowing all of these atrocities and these these immoralitys and legislating all these immoralitys and so on so forth to be able to take place within our land, and then the vaccine mandates and the essential workers, and then ignoring you know the fraud and the stolen election and everything else, and to say that we don't have standings and you know so yeah that was the things that drove me and motivated me to go there. To be able to stand in the gap and to make up the hedge, to be a watchman on the wall, to be able to warn the people of that the enemy was at the gates and that the trumpet needed to be sounded. And you know, I did go to prison, and I would still be in prison. I'd still have five months to go if President Trump hadn't been elected, and I got a full and unconditional pardon. You know, but the one thing I can honestly say, and I can look at my children, my grandchildren.
I can look at my wife. I can look at my church. I can look at my neighbors. I can look at my posterity, and I can say that you know what? I was there to be a defender of liberty and freedom.
I was there to stand up for free and fair of elections. I was there to allow my voice to be heard and to to exercise my First Amendment right, and so on. You know, and you know, while in prison, the Lord gave me the opportunity to be able to to advance the gospel in a place. That you know that to be honest with you, Islam, Islam was is Islam is well established there, but Christianity wasn't. And God gave me four months to be able to establish you know Christianity and the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to lead people to the Lord.
And one thing I'll say to you, brother Ernie, I want to get this out: is this is I don't know if you know this or not. I've never told you this because we really haven't had chance to talk. But right around the election time, 2024, FDC Philly—that's a federal detention center for the Federal Bureau Prisons. I was on block. I was on the fourth floor, and anyway, a lot of lockdowns and different things like that.
But we came out of lockdown one time. And one of the inmates walked over to me, and I had to build a relationship. He was one of the few guys in there that was a white man. We built a relationship, and he walked over, came over to me, and he said, "Have you ever heard of a man by the name of Ernie Sanders? He's in Ohio." I said, yeah, I know Ernie well.
I know you were you good friends, brothers in the Lord, done a lot of stuff together. And he says, I listened to him. I listened to him at night in my cell. And you, at that point in time, you was dealing with the election and President Trump and everything else. And you know, and he was telling me that you was talking about the J Sixers and those that were being held hostages, and you know, everything else.
So I want you to know, brother, that. That your message is getting into the prisons, at least it is in FDC Philly. You know what I mean?
So keep doing what you are doing, and you are making a difference in some of the lives in there.
Well, I thank you for telling me that I didn't know that I did know I was getting letters. I actually, I actually got checks from prison prison inmates who, you know, who don't have much money, but what little they had, they did send, and and I got a couple letters from some some of the chaplains out there in that area too, and I praise the good Lord for that. Yeah. But you know, we were. We were behind you all the time.
When you know, when when you went down, we stand up for our brother. When they told us we could not pray on the steps of the Supreme Court, we went there and prayed.
Okay, we did. Yes, we did. Yeah, yeah. You know, that's just what you got to do. The bottom line is this: is that you know, these liberties, these freedoms, the government didn't give them to us.
They they came to it. They they are ours because of God. The Lord has bestowed these upon us. The only way, the only way that we lose them is we give them up. And technically, you know, one wise man once told me, you really didn't lose them; you just gave them up, and you can take them back whenever you want.
You just got to be willing to take them back. You know, and you know, and and here's the thing: is this is we don't keep a hold of them, and if we do surrender them, we're going to find that the day is going to come that we're going to regret it, and we're going to want to take them back, but it's going to be a costly endeavor.
So the best thing to do when it comes to liberty and freedom, and you know, the right to assemble, and you know, to be able to to to come together and to worship the Lord according to the dictates of our hearts and our conscience and so on, that we. Have we have to realize that we got to preserve them, defend them, and keep them, and that's why you know that the founders gave us the Constitution. We got the you know the First Amendment, you know you know that the freedom of religion and that Congress in no way, shape, or form is able to interfere with it, and you know so and the right to redress the grievances.
So we just got to realize that we got to continue, and that's where the regiment comes in. The Black Rob Regiment comes in. Where it is that we're educating the pastors to understand that these are things that you've got to be a defender of, and that you've got to prepare your people, educate your people to be a defender of it. You know. One of the things that you know that as I've given myself to study of the revolution and the regiment, let me let me break in just one minute because we're almost we're coming up to a break.
