of march twenty twenty six And uh tonight Well, you won't see him out there at uh any of these No kings rally. He knows stupid when he sees it. And so, and that is my co-host tonight, Kenny Pioski. Hey, Kenny. How you doing, Pastor?
Good evening. Good. See, here's something that you're not supposed to know because it's supposed to be a secret. See? But There's a king that they hate.
And it's not Donald Trump, one that they hate more. And it's the Lord of Lord and the King of Kings. And that's what this is really all about.
So all of these renadummies that you see out there Um There's an old saying There's no fool like an old fool. And boy, did I see a lot of them out there. Uh here out the the Ritter Dummy.
Well, I'm gonna do it, it's amazing. They have no idea. But they will know that king that they hate Uh They're going to find out's not mocked. In his time, in his place, they, every one of those rented dummies, will find themselves on broken knees before him. And that's a fact.
And so. Boy, they need to repent and do it in a hurry. Anyhow. The title of the message this week was The Entry The trial, the crucifixion, the death, the burial and the resurrection.
So this is the first part of a two-part message. And we're gonna start tonight in Luke. CHAPTER nineteen And verse twenty eight. And when he had thus spoken. He went before, sending up to Jerusalem.
Now, This is very interesting here because Chi Christ's entry, Kenny, in Jerusalem. was a direct fulfilment of Zachariah nine nine. And that reads Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem Behold the king cometh unto thee. He is just. and having salvation lowly, and riding upon the fowl of an ass.
Now here In this passage it um He he messens he's only gonna mention Uh a cult. Uh It goes on to say, And it came to pass that When he was come nigh to Method and Bethany, At the mount called the Olives, he sent two of his disciples saying go you into the village over against the You? Yeah, which it At your entering you shall find a colt Tide Yet never a man set to loose him and bring him Hither now in Matthew, It says you'll find an ass. a with her colt. Uh Here It's not that there's a di the difference.
The difference is here they only in Loot they only mention the cult, they don't mention Uh the ass too. And if any man asks you why do you lose him? Then shall you say unto him, Behold, the Lord hath need of him. Again, that's another prophecy. In fact, Uh, it's an interesting thing.
We see that these prophecies They are being fulfilled. And if I go over, for example, to Um A hundred and eighteenth psalm. In a hundred and eighteen sum. Versus twenty-five and On 26, we read this. Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord, O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord, We have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. And so it's a prophecy fulfilling that day.
So the Lord Jesus is saying. here and it came to pass when he was come nigh unto Bethany, Add the mount. of olives he sent two of his disciples so Here he fulfilled that prophecy. Actually two pro pro prophecies there. That just by entering in there.
Now He goes on to say And they were sent Wet Their way and found even as he had said unto them. and as they were loosing the colt The owners thereof said unto him, Why lose the you the colt? And they said, Well, the LORD hath need of him. And they brought him to Jesus, and they cast their garments upon the coat.
Now, Listen to this, Kenny, because These very same many of these very same people that are going to be casting their garments down. Before him In just a few days, in four days, will be screaming out Crucify, crucify. Yeah. Yeah. Boy, do we see that happening today too, don't we?
Mm-hmm. And as they went, they spread their clothes in the way. And when he was come nigh even now at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole mult multitude of peoples, of disciples, begin to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for almighty works that they had seen.
Now They didn't think of him as the Messiah. They thought he was the prophet. He was the prophet that was going to announce the Messiah. Saying, Blessed be the king that cometh in the name of the Lord. Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
And now some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples Now the disciples Knew that the Lord He was the Messiah, but the other people thought he was simply a prophet going to announce the Messiah. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out No. Let me ask you something. When God made Adam What did they make atom out of, what did they use to make atom? Uh the earth.
The dust of the earth. He made Adam for the dust of the earth, okay? And You know, ever since their people have been crying out to God, have they not?
Well, what do you think stones are made out of? Same thing. Yeah. And so all of nature All of nature gives testimony of their Creator. all of nature, all of creation, cries out to testify of their Creator.
It's an amazing thing that very few people know that, huh? Mhm. He goes on to say. And when he was come near, He beheld the city and he wept over it.
Okay.
Okay.
saying, If thou hadst known even thou At least. In the day the things which Belong unto thy peace but now they are hid from thine eyes. What do you think he's saying there? Um No. He's talking about they're going to they're going to reject him.
They're going to reject him. And so here Uh This day What he was saying to this day, okay, if thou had known even Thou at last in thy day In thy day That Scripture. had said that Messiah would present himself to Judah and Jerusalem As their promised king, Daniel chapter 9, verse 25. And that's what he is telling them right here. And that they're going to reject him For the day shall come upon thee.
That thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee. Encompass thee around and keep thee on every side. This was about to happen thirty five years later. And they shall lay Thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee. And they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another, because thou knowest not.
the time of thy visitation. And so do you know what he's talking about there?
Something that's gonna happen in seventy AD. Mm. I'm not sure what Well The prophecy was fulfilled in seventy AD when the Roman army Under Titus. Destroyed the temple. completely destroyed the And then in one thirty-five AD And then he uh The Completed The dispersion of all of Israel, all the people, was completed.
135 AD. And so He goes on to say Here in Brutus. And he went into the temple and began to cast out them that sold therein. Than that brought Saying unto them, It is written My house is the house of prayer, but you have Made it a den of thieves.
Now, this is the second time he cleansed the temple. The second time. If you read over in John two sixteen you see the first time. He did the same things. And he taught daily in the temple, but the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him.
They could not find what They might do for the people. were very attentive to hear him.
Now, Wh what do you think? Was their biggest, biggest errors? Why is it? That they should have known, and of course, many Did know. Remember all the first converts were Jews.
Mhm. And they were saying someone saying, This guy knows Man, we we have all the prophecy. We have the check in all the boxes. Yeah. He's right on.
He's he's the real thing here. Uh And yet some of em knowing that. Knowing that s you know, we we gotta stop this guy. Yeah, they were hoping that they were wrong. Because they were probably losing money.
Yeah. Now you you've just hit the The nail on the head here. and an authority. Yeah. He goes on to say, And it came to pass that On one of these days, as he taught the people in the temple, And he preached the gospel, and the chief priests and scribes came upon him, with the elders.
And he spoke unto them, saying, Tell us and they spake unto him, Tell us. By what authority dost thou these things? Or who is it that gave thee this authority?
Now They had the answer. They they had the answer, but And he answered and said unto them, I will ask you one thing, answer me, and the baptism of John. Was it from heaven or of men?
Now this one verse here, Kenny, Has uh, let me tell you, this one verse has helped me out. I learned.
So much from that one verse I learned that when I was drugged before these heathen courts, and these heathen judges and they put me on that witness stand Uh I learned Always to answer their questions with a question. And uh Well, I'm going to tell you, you talk about frustrating the devil. That that really does frustrate 'em. And so he goes on to say. The baptism of John was it from heaven or of men?
And they reasoned with themselves, saying If we shall say from heaven, He will say Why then believe you not him? But if we say of men. All the people will stone us for They be persuaded that John is a prophet.
So Why why Were the people persuaded that John was a prophet? Um Because he I have it. I don't know. He filled the prophecy of one One crying in the wilderness that would come to announce the Messiah.
Okay.
And so he fulfilled all those prophecies, John.
Okay.
And so and and when he preached to them, he preached to them with authority, with absolute authority.
Now, do you think that it might have been? a good idea for them to say, you know, What we really need to know is the truth. We really should go with the truth, don't you think? You would think. And they answered that they could not tell whence it was.
And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you, By what authority I do these things? No. I've had times where You know, they've drugged me in, trying to put me in a position where I couldn't You know when they when they tell you Uh Answer yes or no. Just answer yes or no. And There's a lot of questions You can't answer yes or no.
If I asked you, Keddy Pioski Are you still beating your wife? How would a yes or no answer help you? It's not. A yes or no is not going to help at all because if you say yes, then obviously you're admitting to it. But if you say no, you're.
Saying that you did in the past, then. Right, you're right.
So. There's there's questions and they try to put you in a position.
Well, I learned How to to turn that around on them. When they asked me the The the questions like That would try to put me in a place like, were you there?
Well, of course. Yes or no?
Well, you might say, Well, yes, I was there. But So Automatically What that does is say and you say he's guilty 'cause he he just admitted he was there, right? And so What I would do is I would say Why are you why on earth are you asking me such a question? What would ever give you the right to ask me such a question.
Now it would frustrate him The prosecutor, the And And I remember one time we had this the prosecutor was um really wild to get me an ACLU judge to actually become a judge. And They asked me that question, was asking me a question, and I was answering, Why in the world would you ask me that?
So she said to the judge on the bench, Judge, would you make him answer the question?
So the judge said, Will you answer the question? I said yes, your honour. What is the question? He says, I don't know the with the question. I says, I don't know the question either.
And so Then he he asked the prosecutor, What is your question? And her Response was, never mind, she forgot herself.
Okay.
And so You know, you you had to be able to to deal with this because they were trying to put me in prison. And I mean, they really tried to put me in prison for saving babies, for s for doing the the Lord's work here. Then began he to speak. to the people this parable. A certain man Planned a Yeah.
Kitty, in here, there's going to be A message in here for you, okay? And And see if you can figure out what Jesus is actually saying. 'Cause he's he's doing something for about the third time here. Then began he to speak to the people this parable. A certain man planted a vineyard and and let it forth to The husbandman.
and went into a far country for a long time, Now a husbandman was a farmer.
Okay, he was a farmer. He would he would uh do the things, you know, like with the fruit trees. Knew how to prune them and all of that. I wish I had That's something I I always wanted to learn to do, be able to Yeah, yeah. fruit trees because You know, my my hand was the hand of death for the trees.
I couldn't You didn't have a green thumb?
Well, when it comes to gardens, you know, vegetables, yeah, I do all right, but when it comes to The the fruit trees never did very well. And at the season He sent a servant to the husbandmen that they should give him of the fruit. of the vineyard. but the husbandman beat him and sent him away empty. And again he sent another servant, and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty.
And Ageti said a third. And they wounded him also and cast him out. Then said the Horde, of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send thee my beloved son. It may be They will reverence him.
when they see him.
Now let me ask you a question. Who were The three servants that he sent. Who who is Jesus speaking about Um would that be uh Maybe Moses, Abraham, and Isaiah?
Well, it could be, yeah, the prophets they were the prophets he sent to him. And The prophets came and the prophets prophesied, too, of him. But breaking the word of God And how did they treat Isaiah And the profits. Yeah, not very well. No, not very well.
But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the air. Come, let us kill him. That the inheritance may be ours.
Now he's laid it out there. in front of the Pharisees. And the Pharisees they They know who he's talking about here.
So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. What therefore shall the Lord of the vineyard do unto them? He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. and when they heard it, they said, God forbid Yeah. And he beheld them and said, What is this then that is written?
The stone which the builders rejected. the same has become the head of the corner. Whosoever shall fall upon the stone shall be broken. But on whomsoever it shall fall, It shall grind him to pieces. And so He's saying two things.
Okay, those that uh come against the Lord Uh They'll they're they're gonna be broken, but when his judgment comes upon them. Mm-hmm. Okay.
There they're gonna be ground into dust. Mm-hmm. And a chief priest and the elders.
Well, let me go back so So, what is he saying here? Because Jesus just announced something again.
Okay.
in here. What what do you think it was? he announced. in verses fourteen through eighteen.
Well, he he announced that he's Mm-hmm. they're going to turn on him. They're going to turn on him and they're going to kill him. And this is about the third time he's announced his death. And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought.
To lay hands on him. And they feared the people. For they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them. Yeah, you think? Yeah, I think.
I have to wet my whistle here. And they watched him and sent forth spies which should feign themselves. Just as men that they might take hold of his worth, so that they might deliver unto him the power and authority And they asked him, saying Oh, these are some smoothies, boy. These are these were Remember the Pharisees were lawyers. Yeah.
Jesus said, Woe unto you, lawyers, woe unto you, lawyers, woe unto you, lawyers, didn't he? Mm-hmm. And they said unto him, Now here. It w it's not said here, but we read in Matthew and that that the Herodians And the Pharisees And the Sadducees had come together now. Normally The Herodians and the Pharisees were arch enemies.
The Herodians were half breed Jews, and they worked for Herod. And The Pharisees were the religious leaders. and where the Herodians were the legislators. and where you had The Pharisee's basically the judicial. And they were in competition from robbing robbing the people.
And so You know, it's like these drug dealers that are in competition with each other. But this time. They came together because Jesus was doing something that was a no-no. He was telling the truth. Hmm.
And uh it's just like today in in the in the politics out there, You know, don't be bringing us the truth. We're not ready for that, okay? And so here now they came together And the idea, Kenny, Was to put the Lord Jesus in a position. where he couldn't give a right answer. Yeah.
And so Okay. They said, Is it lawful for us first? Hear what they're saying. And they asked him, saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly. Neither acceptst thou the person.
Of any But teach us the way of God to day. In other words, truly, so they're saying We know that you are totally unbiased that you are telling the truth here. And you teach the Word of God. And so here Truthfully is what they're saying. Do you think they believed that?
If they believed it, why would they be trying to to entrap him. But he perceived their craftiness. And he said unto them, Why tempt you me? Say, so these guys remind me of a bunch of Democrats. They decided that they were going to have a battle of wits with the Lord.
Mm-hmm. And the Lord Jesus considered them unarmed, right? because uh they weren't ready, they had no weapons, he knew exactly what they were going to do before they did it. And so here's how he answers now. This is one of the passages of Scripture that is so twisted, spun, perverted, by so many in the pulpit to day, and the reasons for that Kenny, the reason for that is is a dearth of courage.
Just like on Romans 13, it all comes down to a total dearth of courage. And so here Show me a penny. That's a denari. Whose image? And superscription hath it.
They answered and said, Caesars. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesars the things which be Caesars. and to God the things which be gods. and they could not take hold of his words. before the people And they marveled at his answer, and they held their peace.
Now All right, here we go. What is when God gave us the divine institution of government you know, he gave us five points. The third point, Kenny. Was the most important of the three because of the five brother. was because the entire purpose the entire purpose Of divine human government was to preserve the image of God that being man.
Caesar was a man, wasn't he?
Now When you have here the Herodians, the legislators, And the Pharisees, the judicials, you had the. The Lawmakers the lawmakers. You know how today they They referred to the Congress as the lawmakers.
So you had the lawmakers, so now he's talking to them And as Jesus is speaking to them, He's speaking to them according to the law. According to the law.
Okay.
And so When he says, Show me a pity, whose image was Caesar was the image of God. And subscription. As And they answered and said in Caesars. Then he says this now And he said unto them, Render Under Caesar Now remember, according to the law. render unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, Unto God the things which be God's now D'ye know what the law says what belongs to Caesar and what belongs to God?
Well, three times it says The earth and And the fullness thereof, everything on the earth, everything. on every single thing on the earth. belongs to God.
So If you go ahead and give everything on the earth to God, There's nothing left for Caesar. Right now.
So the here's the trick when he said Is it lawful to give tribute that means to tithe?
Now, the idea was if he was to say Yes It's lawful to tithe to Caesar Then he would be in violation. Of the first commandment. Mm-hmm. Why? Because that would be A form of worshiping.
Well, Caesar professed to be God. You had plaques all over the place. T talking His Eminence his you know, Caesar was a god, okay. And so he proclaimed it.
So the first says, What? Have no other gods before me, right? Mm-hmm. So under Herod's law, the Herodians could have charged him with violation of the first commandment and had him stoned under Herod's law. But now on the other hand.
If he was to say Well A don't don't tithe. The Caesar? Then Caesar Could have had found him guilty of insurrection.
Okay.
So the idea was he couldn't give the right answer. They thought that they were really smart, these guys, didn't they? Yeah, either way they got 'em. They thought. That's what they thought, yeah.
Okay.
But then it says, and they could not take hold of his words, before the people. And they marvel at his answer. and they held their peace.
Well, They had to go back to the people, right? Yeah, so. The people say, Well, what did he say? What what how did Jesus answer?
Well, you know, he uh You know, he he said the render to Caesars you know, well, you know, according to law it belongs to Caesar and To God according to the law.
So the people say, Well, you know the law, you're the lawgivers here. According to the law of Moses, according to the law what belongs to God and what belongs to Caesar. That's what it says And they held their peace. And so So here you go. I gotta wet my whistle again.
This is number three today I've been preaching. Actually I s I sit in Another service where Pastor Howell preaches that I Kinda sit there and rest my vocal cords. Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, Which deny that there was a resurrection.
Now, that's why they were called Sadducees. Because they didn't believe there'd be a resurrection. They worshipped angels. What do you think of that? Yeah, that's not.
That's not right. No. Yeah. Saying master Moses wrote unto us Now here here they go. These guys they're they never learn, right?
No. No, they don't. If any man's brother die Having a wife, and he died without children. that his brothers should take his wife and raise up seed. unto his brother, Why do you think Moses gave them that law?
Um Uh there were probably a lot of Men dying in wars or something? And yeah, they were fighting wars all the time.
Now, remember, in those days, they had a lot of children. Yeah. If you were you were fortunate to have a lot of sons, sons were because sons could do more with a with a farm raising sheep, cattle and that and um So Sons were always preferred. Over women Over the uh because That also inf protection, for going to protecting the family and that. And Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, if a man's brother die, having A wife, and he die without children.
that his brother should take his wife and raise up seed unto his brother. Uh In other words, let's just say Uh Good. Uh let's just say, Kenny. That uh Your brother dies, and so you take his wife, but she's got one child. A male child So you have to raise up seed to her, but everything That Uh That is acquired, and that family belongs to that son.
Okay.
Not to your sons, okay? And the second took her to wife, and He died childless. The third took her, and and in like manner The seven also, and they left no children and died. Last of all the woman died therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife.
First of all, If a man failed to do that, in other words, if his brother died, And and he said, you know, I can't. I already got Two wives as it is. You know, he might have already had another brother die, right? And um You know, I I I just can't take her. It was his responsibility.
They would go to the steps of the temple. He would stand upon the steps of the temple. She would unlash untie his shoelashes. and spit in his face. Then he was free.
From his obligation. He no longer. was required to support her. But that sure wasn't good for his reputation, was it? No, not at all.
He'd be known as the man who failed his brother, huh? Mhm. To know They're asking him And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry and are given in marriage. But they Which a be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. And neither can they die any more.
For they are equal unto the angels, and are the children of God. being the children of the resurrection.
Now that the dead are raised, Even Moses showed At the bush When he called the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac. and the God of Jacob. For He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. For all live unto him.
So What is he saying here? He's saying. That Uh Here We'll all be like brothers and sisters. Uh but unlike our earthly Biological families. Uh Well We're all going to be saved.
But you see, God has no grandchildren. God has no grandchildren. We're all his children, okay?
So, in other words. You're you're Grandparents And your great grandparents and their great grandparents, if they were saved, Along with Uh your children With your sisters and brothers, all of those that are saved. Time's gonna start all over.
So we're all going to be equal. In other words, we will be like brothers and sisters. In other words, Our parents won't be older than us. And and so here The uh The The idea that In in heaven We're not where we will live forever.
Now, the question is about children because God loves children. Will there be children in heaven?
Well, we know that a lot of children went to heaven.
Now, here's a common uh theory that is amongst a lot of theologians. and that is that we're all going to appear at the age of thirty three Uh in heaven. is that we don't we're not gonna age it, heaven. You know I can tell you this. Once we get to heaven.
Ugly will not be mistreating you and me any more. No. We'll have cop, we'll have conquered ugly, right? Finally. It's so Uh here.
So yeah, we will live forever, okay. And but we do know that there will be children in heaven. And w I we're gonna have to wait to get there to find out how this all works out. And so He he goes and he picks it up. Then certain of the scribes answering him said, Master, thou hast well said.
And after that they durst not ask him any questions at all. And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son?
Now they referred to him as the son of David. Why do you think they referred to to the Lord Jesus as the Son of David? Uh because he's from Uh, 'cause isn't m Well, is it I I thought it was Joseph that's from the Bloodline of David. Yeah, the lineage of David. Jesus was from the lineage of David, okay.
And it see that in those days was a big deal. I mean, that was a very lar big deal.
So they referred to him as the son of David.
So how say they that Christ is the son of is David's son? And David himself said, In the book of Psalms the LORD said unto my LORD, Sit thou at my right hand.
So What he's actually saying there And he said, The LORD said unto my LORD Is that That was a Psalm of David that he was quoting. And in the Hebrew In the Hebrew he say, Jehovah said unto Adonai, Jehovah said unto Adonai, In other words, the father has said to the son, The father has said to the son. You find that also in the Hebrews uh CHAPTER one Where God the Father is addressing God the Son, and God the Father is saying. When Jehovah is saying to Adonai, Thy throne Oh, God is forever. He's referring to him as as God there.
And so So he so now d So Jesus is asking them.
So, how in the world are you saying that I'm the son of David when David referred to me as the Lord. He says, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool. David therefore called him Lord how is he then his son? Boy this really had to get them going then. Mm-hmm.
Then in the audience of all the people, he said unto his disciples, Beware of the scribes which desire to walk in long rows, and love greetings. In the markets and the highest seats at the synagogue, and the chief rooms at feasts. which devour widows' houses. And for his show make long prayers. the same shall receive greater damnation.
You know, it's it's like the prosperity preachers of today. Mm-hmm. They would go. And the Pharisees would say, Mm. Mrs.
Goldstein. Your husband Harvey. I prayed and I prayed. You know, it takes it takes a lot A lot of energy and a lot of time, I I pray And and we've got Harvey. We've got one leg and one arm in heaven.
And I keep praying for them. I mean, they would come up just like today, like the prosperity preachers do. where they really Um Punch. They really shear the sheep. I mean Uh, unbelievable how they do that and how they take them the money from these widows and these uh they really go after these elderly women big time.
And so here My sees that we devour widows' houses and for a show make long prayers. for the same shall receive greater damnation. In other words, They're conning these women. They're Um And again. It's like the Joe Olsteins of today.
Yeah, they're materialistic at their loving the position and the power that they have as opposed to serving God as they should be. I just watched a clip of of Paula White. Unbelievable how this woman She's how this prosperity. She said, I know there's ten people here. Ten, ten, that could give ten thousand dollars.
I need a hundred thousand. I need a hundred thousand tonight, right tonight. I need a hundred. And she's and then she gets speaking in her tongues. Hucker, buck, buck a bucker, you know, and then she starts in the hit.
Yeah. And uh Unbelievable. Didn't she To go up. and uh she'll punch somebody there, she'll punch him in the stomach. And she'll say now go out and get that money.
You know. What? And so here, yeah, it's It's amazing. People are nuts. And I'm going to pick it up here.
And he looked up and he saw rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. and he saw a certain poor widow casting in tither two mites, D'you ever see two mites? D'you know how They got to be called Might Uh here on them. They're very small. They're very small.
They'll they're about half the size of a dime. Not quite half the size, but smaller than a dime. And on there they have what is actually Supposed to be A star, but it's it does it looks more like Like a bug. And some of the early uh Church Bible scholars referred to it uh even even the early church leaders. Referred to it as a mite, you know.
And here So Jesus said And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, That this poor Widow hath cast in more than they all, For all they have of their abundance cast in the offering of God, but she and a Puneri hath cast in all the living that she had.
So Here that word punuri poverty means poverty. At Caston she gave everything she had. And so here Uh There be some that argue well She didn't give enough, you know. I I've seen these prosperity preachers take up three or four offerings. They keep saying, No, no, no, you're still not where you should be on this offering thing here.
And uh I actually it's a grift. Yeah. I actually was standing unnoticed. They're in a church Where these people we they used the same building. Their service was after ours.
We were in the early days we used the building. And I forgot something and came back. And it was it was a P Pent Pentecostal ch word of faith. Husband and wife, tag team. And the wife was actually telling these women there That look They had taken the offering, and she said, Are you going to shame me with this?
We're going to take another offering. And she actually said that If they didn't do better, that her husband was going to curse the purses of the women there. Oh, yeah, I'm not kidding you, okay. And um Here These women this shows you what I'm talking about. They were crying.
Because someone would say, I don't have I gotta buy milk and bread, I gotta do this and that, and they were crying. Uh but she's telling them And Walter w was halfway. And she's telling Walter was going to curse their purse if they unless they gave more. Unbelievable. That's insane.
Yeah, well They do that in that word of faith movement. How do you stay with a church like that?
Well Here here's what one told me, Walter. He said that Actually, in a way, you're helping them because When they give They believe that they're giving to God And it it's it's their faith that they have that they're giving to God, and God will reward them. Even though I'm the one that's spending their money. Yeah. Well what does that say about him then?
Not too smart, huh? No. I actually f he he was a big guy, he was my size. But he when he tried to ask me, he actually opposed me And said, look. The people trust you, they trust you.
And if you come in with me, in other words, he was asking me to fleece the flock with him. Yeah. And Uh I I actually picked him up and f physically threw him out the door. Throwing right out the door and so For these things which you behold, the days will come in that which there shall not be left one stone upon another. That shall be thrown down.
Okay, now. Here's what we have here. This is what is called the Olivet Discourse. the prophecy of things to come, beginning with The destruction of the temple. And it it's called the olive discourse because it was given an amount of olives at the base there.
And he said, Take heed. that you be not deceived, for many shall come in my name. saying I am Christ and that many draweth near, Go you not, therefore, after them.
Now There were many, many Uh And the Lord's Day They came in his name. In the Lord's day there were many that came. Uh and in our our lifetime we've seen many come. Uh Professing to be the Messiah. Uh remember Calypso Louis?
Yeah. But wasn't um wasn't David Karash one of them? Yeah. I don't know. Yeah, who's Calypso Louie?
A fairy gun. Louis Farra was it Farragun, I believe? Then he turned in that he'd made Obama A messiah. When he said when Obama speak Messiah speaks. When Obama speaks And uh Remember what Obama said.
Obama said, I am. The one That you've been waiting for. I am The one that I've been waiting for. Convenient pause there. Yeah.
Now that word, do you know what that means when you said I am?
Okay.
When Moses asked The Lord Who should I say sent me when he went to see Pharaoh? And the Lord says, Just say, I am. Do you know what that means, the word when he said I am? means that he's God. That means pre existent that he is all that he always existed.
That he he was from the he's the beginning and the end, okay? And so when Obama said, I am and then paused, And then that what's her name? Susan Rice said that. That the presidency was not challenging enough for Obama because of his great intellect. And um That he is not a m a normal mortal man.
what what she was saying. Here. And so he says But when you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars and commotions. and be not terrified, for these things must first come to pass. But the end is is not By and by.
We're talking about the birth pains here. Boy, we've seen Uh When I was young growing up in Ohio, we never had any earthquakes, never in Ohio. And in the probably the last thirty years we've had a number. of earthquakes and and places where they've never been before. Mm-hmm.
and great earthquakes shall be in divers places meaning in places where they're not normally should be. And famines, who right now today, There's more famine in the world than there's ever been. And that's cause on purpose. A pestilence, d'you know over in Deuteronomy. He tells you that in the end times That he is going to bring pestilence that we have never that is never heard of, that that man has never known, something new.
You don't think that that COVID Will be one, do you? Quite possibly. Yeah. Now they say that there's they got a new one that they're they've been working on. Yeah.
I saw that. They're calling it Cicada. Yeah, the Cato. That they planned on laying that on us now. Just in time for midterms.
Yeah. And he goes on and and he says And fearful sights. And great signs shall there be from heaven.
Well, w we recently just had a meteorite. uh hit here in our area. Mm-hmm. But boy, we've had signs from heavens when he talks about great signs from heavens. out there today.
Remember all the strange things that happened over there in New Jersey. Remember All those lights and and uh The drones. All the drones and all the strange things. Then there was noises coming out of the the sky in places, noises and people couldn't understand. uh where this was coming from in different states.
And then here he goes on to say. But before all these they shall lay their hands on you, persecute you, and deliver you up to the synagogues and to Prisons being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
Now, Here Um You know, Mark here adds that the Uh And the book of Mark has a further note that they shall also be delivered up to consuls. and they shall be beaten in the synagogues. Uh of course that That was happening. To the disciples, right? Mm-hmm.
And so, before Christ's sake, but today. All of the um All of the The apostles, there, the first early church leaders were all Jews. And they were the Apostles. The Apostles were the early Church leaders. He goes on to say And it shall turn to you for a testimony, settle it there in your hearts.
Not to meditate. Before that you shall answer. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom. which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay or to resist. and it shall be and you shall be betrayed both by parents.
Now He's telling you from from the time that he was saying this Until the time he returns, these things are going to happen.
Okay.
And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake, okay.
So Boy, I'm gonna tell you Uh Israel has been hated, but you know, th the church were named after the Lord Jesus himself. But there shall not be a hair of your head perished. People say, Well, how in the world is that? I mean, if they're going to kill us, how should we not perish?
Well, He's talking about we're gonna have eternal life. Mm-hmm. In your patience, possess you your souls. There he's telling you. To stay steadfast, hold to that blessed assurance.
The Lord is going to. He is going to complete what he started. He's going to do exactly what he said, huh? Yeah. Absolutely.
And so Well, we're out of time for tonight again. And so it's that time that we come to every night where the most important part of the program is what, Kenny? It's the end here. The end of it, but but the invitation. Right, folks out there I don't know how many programs we have left, you know.
I don't know when the Lord's coming back. Never know. This might be the last one, or we might have 300 more. Who knows? Yeah.
But I know he's coming back. I know his return is imminent, but Uh we just saw in this passage I read to night A half a dozen prophecy fulfilled just in this little short passage. And out of the 1800 prophecies Probably close, you know, almost well, over 95%, almost 100% have already been fulfilled.
So we're coming to the end of these prophecies, folks. And so Here, but that doesn't matter to you because every one of you out there listening to me. You're listening to me because you're alive. And every single one of you that are alive some day won't be alive. And you're going to die just as God's Word, the Bible says, like everybody before you.
And when that happens, now this is reality. You can believe whatever you want to believe. I mean, you can really believe whatever you want. But reality is you're going to die. People are eternal but beings, we don't go out of existence, we change real estate.
and you're going to end up in heaven or hell. That's the the fact.
So Folks you want to repent, call upon the name of the Lord. and receive Christ as your Saviour to night. You're running out of time, and so Until tomorrow, we wanted to say thanks for being here, thanks for your support. God bless. Good night.
