Pastor Ernie Sanders discusses the importance of faith and resisting temptation, citing biblical examples and warning against the dangers of technology and the decline of traditional marriage. He emphasizes the need for Christians to be 'all in' and not wavering in their faith, and encourages listeners to be swift to hear and slow to speak. This is What's Right, What's Left with Pastor Ernie Sanders? Good evening and welcome to another edition of What's Right, What's Left. On this twelfth day of October twenty Twenty-five. And uh tonight my He's clamorous, not glamorous, no, only kidding, only kidding. Please uh You never know what what's going to be said here.

Not even I know what's gonna be so Uh-huh. But he's a fine gentleman. And uh A real scholar. My dear friend And co hoes. Kenny Pyhouski.

Anywhere you can go. Yes, always ready. Already.

So now we're gonna the title of the message was Prepare yourselves for new temptations. Prepare yourself for new temptations. And we're starting in the book of James. And then James chapter 1, verse 1, James the servant of God, and of the Lord of Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad greetings.

Well, This James He is not the son of Zebedee. This James is the half brother of the Lord Jesus himself. And Here He uh he's writing this letter To the brethren, the twelve tribes, the Jewish brethren who were converts. And uh They were split during the dispersion. They were set off in all different directions.

And so he says, My brethren, count it all joy when you fall in diverse temptations, Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patients have her perfect work. that you may be perfect An entire wanting nothing. No. Here First of all, this message tonight I'm going to be preaching here.

is Um An Expository Message No no, Kenny, there's Typically two different types of messages that uh P preachers preach. Uh expository and topical. No. I'm sure you know what a topical one is. Uh You know, it's when you you get on a particular topic and you go through all what the Bible has to say about it.

Now, uh and expository Message usually deals with you do it in an exegetical way. And Uh here, that means that you take like verse by verse and you Pull the truth out of that verse. Um And that's what you call exegesis.

Now And I segesis is just the opposite. That's when you kind of throw in your opinion uh rather than what the truth is in scripture, okay? And so Here, we're going to do tonight. This is going to be a combination of both Um The expository and Topical. in the sense we're going to be hitting both here tonight.

And we're going to be doing it exegetically. In other words, we're going to be pulling a truth out of each verse like we just did starting here. He says, My brother, encounter all joy when you fall into di to diverse temptations. Why do you think you would counter all joy when you fall into diverse temptations? Um Maybe because you Then you get to sh kind of show yourself uh as being worthy by resisting the temptations?

Well, here In this, when you when we read the word temptation here, y you've got uh several different words uh in this Greek for the for that word temptation. One of them means actually to be a kind of seduce, you know, the the type of temptation where someone tries to seduce you, uh, The other one is just meaning testing.

So Here he's talking about the testing. knowing this, that the trying of faith worketh patience, But let patients have her perfect work.

Now, that word perfect right there. in the Greek is uh the same word we use for Complete. A complete or total. Mm-hmm. you know, not not one with no imperfections, but one that has been completed.

that you may be perfect and entire wanting or nothing. In other words, you may be you may be Complete. Uh in your faith. Here he's talking about you you hit a good point that uh To be found worthy, to be found worthy to be tested. When we look through the Bible, do we find.

many of the great, great people that were tested they were they were found worthy to be tested. What did the Apostle Paul have to say? He said, I found it what? Um He said I found great glory in in the fact that to be found worthy That the to be tested and We know You've heard of that fellow Job in the Bible. Boy, he was tested, wasn't he?

Yes, he was. Yeah. And so Here Ah. And John the Baptist, too, was another.

Now, Well of course there was a bunch and in fact if you read Hebrews chapter eleven the the whole part is those that were tested. But he says here And when you take a look at this at the time of this writing. Here Stephan Stephen had already been martyred. He was slain. By the way, he he was slain with the help of the Apostle Paul, who was Silas at the time, huh?

Uh Paul stood and held his coat while others killed him as Paul was persecuting the church. And then also uh his namesake The other James, the son of Zebedee and brother of John, he too at this point had been martyred already. And so Here He says, If any of you lack wisdom Let him ask of God. That giveth to all men liberally and unbraided Um And it shall be given him.

Okay, so Where where do we find like Where is the beginning of wisdom? Where do we find the beginning of wisdom? Um Fear of God. Right.

Now that fear of God, is that a fear that that uh we're afraid that God's gonna do us some harm? Um, no, it's more of a respect. Right.

So Here It's a reverence, what we do. It's a reverence of God.

So it starts with a reverence of God's power, God's majesty, God's authority. And the one thing that God demands more than anything else uh in his word is obedience to his word, huh? Mm-hmm. Uh, in our society, do do people ever take that seriously, or for the most part, or do they? Do we see a reverence for God or do we see a fake reverence for God?

Not nearly as much as we should. There is a lot of fake reverence out there. Yeah. And there's there's a lot that have no reverence either. Right.

But the You you see Today, and I know I deal with this all the time, and you know, because one of the things that I I d I always tell the people, Look, My job is to tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. And, you know, so and when you preach messages Uh a lot of times if you're doing If you're preaching the word of God, you're gonna make a lot of people very uncomfortable. But that's what God has raised you up to do. And so you better do it to the best of your ability, right? Yep.

Challenges. people's false beliefs.

So he says, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, and God give it to him liberally.

Now that's that was a good word, liberally there. Uh Then he says and unbraideth Not What does that what what do you think that word upbraideth mean? Um I don't know. Would would that be Yeah. When you say a braided, it kind of reminds me of like a braid, so like intertwined and mixed, but I really have no clue.

Well, in a sense that uh this means to find fault with. that that you don't find fault with something he says here Um If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. They give it to him. Men liberally. And a breath is not, in other words, and finds fault, not to find fault.

Um and it should be given him.

Now Here Uh wh when we talk about wisdom Do we have I mean, if we if we want wisdom, And do we have Any uh particular source that we can call upon. If only there was something. If only there was something kind of Kind of like the book in our hands right now. If only there was something like that. Oh yeah, the Bible.

All right, very good.

Okay. Lot of people don't know that greatest source of wisdom. And so He goes on to say But let him ask in faith Nothing wavering, for he that wavereth is like the wave of the sea driven with the wind. And tossed.

Now here Today, we're going to be facing We are facing things things are changing. Uh in in in a lot of ways. And um And and here through technology The temptations that we have are becoming greater now. And on its face, some of the things don't seem like they're they would be r really that wrong to do. Uh Because well It's kinda like everybody's doing it nowadays, in a ways.

It's a growing thing. And what I'm talking about with technology, for example, Today. Um Here We have uh Well We're we're constantly being monitored. We're constantly being monitored on our cellphones and th the Uh you have conversations. I can actually ask a question to somebody and and and Siri will answer.

that on my phone she'll hands she's listening all the time. Mhm. And so In fact, when I said that, they it lights right up, so And it's funny. It's like you could be talking to someone about maybe needing a new roof, and then next thing you know, you go. scrolling through Facebook or whatever and it's Just a bunch of roofer ads.

Yeah, well they they just pop up with me. I mean Uh, I'll go into a restaurant and I'll be sitting there and the first thing it'll tell you it'll pop up and tell you what's the special is there today. And um But see, now this this technology, what is the the first divine institution that God gave us? Uh marriage. Right.

Marriage in the family. Marriage in the family is the first divine institution.

Okay. And so How does um How does the world Uh reckoned with the the divine institution of marriage when when he uh Hillary said it takes a village to raise a child. What was your intent? Um Uh kind of downplay. Uh The institution of marriage.

Right.

And throughout, you know, especially in the last 40 to 50 years, they've perversed it. Yeah. to replace the divine institution of marriage in the family with a worldly ungodly one of compromise. And and what's happening now You know, it used to be We would watch the James Bond movies. Remember the James Bond movies?

He could pull. a a weapon out of his shoe, and He was always planning little listing devices here or there. Yeah, yeah. James Bond was always fun. Yeah, I used to like get smart though as well.

Yeah. Yeah, he had the cell phone the shoe phone. And uh Here, but But nowadays what is happening Uh there's a big, big, big market out there. And on hidden cameras, hidden microphones, Uh, they have today, you know, Microphones that are in a pen. They're in an ink pen.

And what happens is. Uh you simply stick this ink pin and a woman's purse, and you can hear everything she has to say 'cause they're very uh they they pick up the sounds They use apps. Like there's an app now that they can put if you have access and Um To someone's cell phone, you can put this app on their phone and they don't even know it's there, and you can hear every conver you can monitor every one of their phone conversations. Um There are These little bitty cameras, I mean that look that are so small. And you can't even tell their camera and you can place them anywhere.

I mean You can place them in like a smoke detector, it looks like a smoke detector, or or you can place them. And what is happening where It used to be Those things would cost a fortune, and and only people that were in the intelligence a business. you know, could have access to those But now And there's a much growing much bigger market, a growing market. Uh because of Especially in the area of divorce. You know, today for every uh Marriage, there seems to be a a divorce.

And we live in a very materialistic world, especially Amongst the very wealthy. And there's an abundance today of classes of. billionaires out there and multi-millionaires and billionaires.

So Um Here with more and more of these marriages having marriage contracts, Uh You see more of this these little spy techniques taking place here. where they they use uh You know, these tracking app uh Yep. Um the the things they put on the cell phone Again, the the hidden mics, and one of the things that's being used today. Our drones. Drones are used to uh, to spy, you know, and it's it was it's like Well, it's not really a bad thing.

You just you know, drone, you just like to fly this drone. But drones are being used to follow uh people, especially these spouses, uh that that have these these marriage contracts where if One of 'em um commits infidelity Adultery then they forfeit all property.

So there's And and because of that, more and more of them are are Yeah. going into these contractual marriages, okay? And where the money's The money's good. But but that's Even on top of that, we're living and it's growing a society that these devices have become so inexpensive nowadays that you can buy them And Sometimes people think that they're they're playing a trick, playing a prank or whatever, Uh And when they go to, you know, a friend's house or something, They'll leave a little listening device there, okay? They go in they when they go to use the bathroom, whatever, or they'll put a little and this is becoming Uh More and more prevalent, but it's the age that we live in, and so.

It's A temptation there. as a temptation. And so And also now now because of all that, Uh especially uh These cell phones have really Uh these smart elect phones have really Helped women, you know, it's because of the universities, because of what they're teaching. in the universities where it's where it comes to marriage in a family, Today you have what you call open marriage. You have Uh what they call a free pass.

Do you know what a free pass is? Yes.

Okay. You have girls' nights out. Gir well, you know, girls' nights out aren't what they used to be because they go what they call clubbing. And that's a that's a sure Uh, you take and put married women out there in a nightclub going dancing without their husbands and alcohol and you got a sure recipe for Yeah. Divorce.

And of course, they're teaching.

Now, this is called Uh freedom Uh and They also have what they call key parties. Do you know what a key party is? I've heard of it, yes.

Okay. Um And then and they have Swingers' Clubs. Do you know what a Swingers Club is? How do you know all these things? I'm wise for my youth, I guess.

Well, uh Do you know? Do you know how I'm I've learned about a lot of these things because a lot of these words are new words. I'm actually surprised that you know as much as you do.

Well, I do, and um. Because you know What I've been doing a lot recently, and not just on this topic, but on different topics. I've been um listening to it Other pastors have preached on these topics, okay? Uh when it comes to The marriage to divorce, uh I did uh That message I did. On burial versus cremation.

I listen to hours to hear what the opinions of some of the other pastors have. in Scripture but but Here is how I've learned a lot of these words I didn't even know. Uh There's another one uh Oh That I was just gonna say it was right on the tip of my tongue. Oh. Come forward.

Yeah, that's it, a cuckold. Cuckold is another one. Yeah, and uh I didn't know. Yeah, the first time I heard you say that, I almost fell over in my chair. Yeah.

So, how do you know this? Yeah. Well, so. Uh this is some of the see We need To know what the opposition is teaching the young people.

Now, for most of us. Know your enemy. Right.

Like when I was preaching his message today. Most of the folks that I was preaching, you know, these are Christian people. None of this stuff. you know, what it would really occur to them, especially, you know, the you know, the parts about uh the little hidden mics. But that's it's it's becoming more and more Aggressive out there.

Yeah, it's because it's everything has become smaller and cheaper. And so the average person are getting their hands on things and putting and using it for nefarious uses as well. Yeah. And There are actually people using drones uh to catch their spouses cheating on them. Uh you know, when they figured out that they're doing something very close in the neighborhood or in say in a trailer park or not.

And so this is again, we're living in a Uh different type of of world now. Things are Daniel chapter twelve, verses three and four, we're seeing the Unsealing of the book and the all of this knowledge that will be increased.

So we're seeing this huge increase in knowledge of of things. And so We have to be ready Uh but we can't we can't respond The way Uh that the That the world responds. If we respond the way that the world responds, what would be the consequences? Um, well then we'd be going down the dark path there.

Well, if we act like them, we become them, don't we? Yes, exactly.

So want to pick it up where I left off. He he goes, he says, Yeah. Here But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering, for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with wind. and tossed. Uh You can't, you know, waiver.

You you gotta be, as a Christian today and a believer. You gotta be all in, don't you? Yeah, no no wishy-washy. If there's wavering, is that a sign? Of a a lack of of um you have a profession, but a lack of possession of the faith?

Yeah, yeah. So it it sounds like a lack of faith. You know, not natural faith. And if we look at, say, in the book of Hebrews, and the book of Hebrews was. It's called the Book of Hebrews.

You know why it's called the Book of Hebrews? Mm, 'cause it's written For Hebrews? Yeah, it was written to the Hebrews. And so but The point that he that he's making in that was that, you know, during this Uh There's time, you know, when Christianity first came, the Romans looked at it, okay, and they accepted it. Um As a sect of Judaism, Judaism was a legal religion.

They allowed it, they tolerated it illegally. And they looked at Christianity as kind of a sect of Judaism. But the Jews convinced the Romans that it wasn't a sect of Judaism, and Well, even in the very beginning, some of the Jews kind of almost accepted it as because all the first converts were Jews. Mm-hmm. But Then when that happened, then the persecution came.

And he Here uh you would have a lot of those Jews and that's what it tells you in the book said, you know, Um You know, it was kind of a popular movie except in Jesus Christ, which was a You know. was a popular movement. We all kinda got caught up in that and uh But now things, you know, I mean this you know The persecution is getting pretty hard. And you know, when you let's think about it, Judaism wasn't so bad.

Well, we were under Judaism. the perse you know, we weren't persecuted the way we're persecuted now and And when we think about it, it wasn't too bad. I mean Now, this Christianity actually came out of there, so why can't we just go back to Judaism?

Okay. Hmm. And that's what they're telling you.

So what was the answer to Um And I I believe that that the Apostle Paul s was the author I think that was Apollyan epistle. I I think I see his Signature all over that, but What was his response? Response was that For those that did that In other words, it is having tasted, having understood, What Jesus Christ, who he was and what he did. Having understood that, And professing to accept that and then rejecting it. He said it was like Uh Walking on the blood of Christ.

Like Like walking. It's like stomping the the blood into the ground. Mhm. And so Here This is what he's referring to, but let him Ask in faith, nothing wavering, for the wavering is like the wave of the sea driven with the wind. And toss.

For let him not For let not that man think that he shall receive anything. Of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Uh Can you think of a double-minded man? Um I mean it would be someone who Who tries to do public?

Please maybe try to p tries to please everyone. Type thing.

Well In a sense, when I think of a double-minded man, the m the most famous one that comes to my mind. would be Jimmy Carter.

Okay. And the reason for that is, I remember hearing Jimmy Carter say, and I couldn't believe it when he said this, because He professed to be a born-again Christian. He was a Sunday school teacher. And But he said this. That, yes, the Bible clearly teaches that.

Abortion is unlawful and it's murder. Mhm. But my constituents elected me to keep it legal and I'll do what my constituents elected me to do. What is that? Uh Remember what Peter said We will obey God rather than man.

Jimmy missed that part, didn't he? Apparently, yeah.

Okay. And so Here. On one side he's claiming to be a born again believer and then then he's he's going totally against what The guy teaches. Yeah. Uh what about Bill Clinton?

Okay. Yeah, I mean, they he professed to be Christian, didn't he? Said he sang in the choir for years. And uh he was a A solid Baptist Yeah. Mm-hmm.

I know. His definition of Baptist is sure different than mine, I tell you.

Solid as a glass of water. Yeah, and so. Um Here, and remember one of his favorite sayings: who are you going to believe, me or your lion eyes? And so Uh and now but but here's the Here's the ironic thing. He confessed himself to be A good Christian men.

Would you say he's Caucasian? Who? Bill Clinton? Yeah. I I would think I think so.

Yeah, he looks looks like it, right?

Well yeah, yeah. But see 'cause but Hilary said that White Christian men are the problem. They need to get be done away with. We need to. to get rid of the white Christian men.

So So he professes to be a white Christian man. What do you think's going on there? I don't think there is. I think that's been a loveless marriage for a very long time. Hmm.

If if there was any love ever in that marriage. I I I can see. I could just hear Bill Clinton talking to his aides. Go get the girls. Old Hill just got sentenced to prison, she won't be in the way anymore.

But you go ahead and He goes on to say Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted. But the rich, in that he is made low, because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away. What in the world do you think that means? Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he was exulted. Um It's kinda like along the lines that uh That uh the the rich will have a hard time getting into heaven, you know, because of of their wealth.

and not using their wealth for And God's grace for God's for to glorify God. When Jesus said that the first will be last and the last will be first, And so He's talking about the people in this life. those that have it the worst, that have it the worst in this life, they're you know, that we have a The the persecution of the church is greater than it's ever been. There's a this anti-Christ movement, you know, going around uh in Europe and in Asia. And the persecution Uh to where Uh some of our senators and it's way past two like in Nigeria and some of these other countries where the persecution of the church was so bad Uh they're calling it uh President Trump to to send troops there to uh the guarantee, you know And protection.

the church. There in those colours and I think that would be a great idea. I think that would d to do that, okay. is I know you'll hear that well we can't be the the police of the whole world. No, but we can be the the police For the protection of God's people, can't we?

We can certainly try, and we've got the might to do it, so. That's not a bad idea.

Well, we're certainly sending in a lot of aid to Israel, aren't we? Yep. And from what I understand, we're sending going to be sending several hundred. Army over there too. To make sure to that this peace treaty is kept, to monitor the peace treaty, huh?

Yeah, I I believe so.

So He says, but the rich in that he was made low because As the flower of the grass he shall pass away. For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat But it with it whether it the grass, and the flower therefore faileth. And the gra is Grass and the grace of it fashioned of it perishes and also shall the rich man fade away in his ways And so Uh What did um Yeah. The rich ruler who had all the silos, remember, and he had all that grain he and he had a tremendous a bountiful year of of harvest. And he said, Well, this year, look at this, we have a lot of excess, I'm going to build extra.

Silos. And then, when and hang on to this, when the price goes up, then I'm going to sell it. Um But there was a problem. The problem was right there You had a lot of uh Hungry people, poor people that were hungry. And had he given those poor people some of the grain that he had to eat.

Do you think God would have spared him? Because God says, Tonight, fool, your soul is required of you. And guess what? All of your your uh riches in that Mug. Who's going to end up with it?

Not you. And so So here th he's referring to It's not. It's not a sin to be rich. It's what you do with your wealth, okay? If you don't help your fellow man.

You had two of the richest men in the world and they were contemporaries. They were there at the same time. were Abraham and Job, Abraham and Job were contemporaries, you know. Uh And yet they were very wealthy But what did they do with their wealth? Or they helped others.

Yeah, they did. They helped they they were known to help others to help so He goes on to say Blessed is the man that endureth temptation, For when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath Promise to them. that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God. For God cannot tempt be tempted with Uh evil whether he tempteth evil.

He any man.

So now in the first over there, uh words that we use this in the temptation. That was a testing. But in these this is more of a seductive type, isn't it? Mm-hmm. And uh So he says Uh God I am tempted of God 'cause God cannot Be tempted.

Yeah. What did Satan try to do with Jesus in the wilderness? Uh he tried to tempt him to Um Oh, with Forty days with food, you know. Remember And Jesus was out there with no food. And so we try to tempt him with food.

Huh. What other ways? Uh can you hear me? Are you there? My mic went out.

Hello?

Okay, so I'm here. I'm here. Can you hear me? Hello?

Okay, I am here. Can you hear me? Yes, I can hear you. This is crazy. I do hear I can I Hello?

What happened? My mic is going out. Hello?

Hello?

Yeah, you're you're on. You're still on. My mic is going out. I don't know what's going on with my mic. All right, you better go switch your mic if you're gonna.

I'm gonna see what I can do here. Give me a minute. All righty.

Okay, go ahead. And I'll keep going. All right, let me see. Yeah, folks, these these type of things usually happen to me Uh not always, but but usually on Friday nights. Uh but but if it's gonna happen it's gonna happen it's gonna happen to me.

It's gonna happen on this this radio program. Um and that's And that's what on all the different stations out there and that's what the engineers tell me. Pastor, we've been everything's been perfect all day. It's only when when you come on. You see, we're saying some things here that Obviously the enemy doesn't want us to say.

And so especially when we're talking about temptation and lust. And so here he goes on to say But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed.

Well, we were talking earlier. About these different things that they have out there today. I just heard uh About a couple. And and and I know. Are these people?

And uh they're A a married couple have been married for prob probably close to twenty years. And they're They take now they're taking separate vacations. He goes out of the country with some men. They go to separate vacations. He goes out there.

Would and She goes with her girlfriends to Las Vegas. Oh. Okay. Now What is Las Vegas called? Sin City.

Sen Seddy. What plays in Vegas stays in Vegas, huh? Yeah, that's that's the saying.

So if you're going to Las Vegas and I and I know this woman's gonna tell me all pastor I did we know, we we just go to have a good time, this and that. Uh look. You don't go you t if you go to Las Vegas, you're going into A sin city, you're going there to sin, aren't you? That most likely.

Okay. Uh, well, you say, Well, What if you have business dealings?

Well, yeah, there there might be some.

some things. I mean, there there might be some situations where Yeah.

Well There's legitimate reasons to go to Vegas, but. Yeah, you know, you used to go, you know, you could go and you can listen to. Um you know, the different uh concerts they put on. I'm I remember Elvis used to play Vegas all the time and yeah, there's a lot of residencies where you know, a band or a a performing artist will be there for You know, like three months to a year, you know. Performing every night at that.

with husbands and wives go together, okay? Uh that's one thing. And and it's not just Vegas. you know, same thing with With New Orleans, okay. Uh Do you know?

uh send a bunch of housewives Uh on a girl's night out in Vegas, y you're asking for trouble. Yeah. Okay? You're gonna have and you're gonna have trouble, okay? And so here Uh like I said, when w to go on separate vacations like that.

And then again, the the thing with These cell phones And these these you know Uh computer laptops. Um This mind set that you have that that cell phone is your Private property. That's yours. Nobody has the right it for any time and any reason. To see what's on that phone, without your permission.

No, that is not Not if you're married. If you're married a husband has not only the right to look upon his wife's cell phone, but he has the obligation. Tell me why he has the obligation. Uh because he's the head of the household. Because she's the weaker vessel.

And A b a bad idea. Where where does the enemy attack women? The sermon. discernment. He attacks men in pride, women and discernment.

Now, So not only does he have the right, he's got the obligation. uh to check what see what's on her phone. What about her? Does she have the right to look up uh and see what's on his phone? Sure.

Absolutely as as married. They are not to have any secrets from each other. They're not to have any secret counterproductive. Right.

Or one Yeah, you can't be two become one. You can't you can't become one. If you're got separate things. And so and I see these things happening Uh people in their their red flags and you can tell If there's a situation going on uh here Especially, you know, where You have uh a lot of people working uh in offices together You know, and this thing where they call Teams now, nowadays, everything is a team. You got A team or B team working in the different organizations.

And um Here The red flags are this when Uh, if you see your wife, you know, all of a sudden always putting her phone down, you know, face down, Or if if she gets a call And it's the same thing with the husband, but it's not nearly as prevalent. uh with the males as it is with the females. But if they get a call, you go you you go out of the room, you Uh Here It The only reason my wife would take the phone out of the room If I'm there. Um, is if I'm on the phone with somebody else.

Okay. and, you know, in in that case then, uh, she would do it Uh If I'm listening to like a clip or something for the program. Uh, it's the same thing, you know, with me. The only reason I would take my phone out of the room is of cheese. Trying to listen, they're talking to somebody else.

Well So when they they go out of the room, then you'll notice too. Uh if they speak hello, you know, if you you hear 'em speaking low, And and so this is where Because of all of this, it seems like it's almost become like a sport. Today uh to put these uh apps on the phones where you can track people. to put these little microphones, um uh in cars now they have Microphones that look like ink pens. They're putting them in.

people's purses. They have glasses that have cameras on them now. And if you hold down the one core, it it will actually film things, okay? And so What they're doing is They're having conversations. and the conversations are being recorded And they're doing this because of the marriage contracts that they have now.

you know, for divorce court. This is and when they have these so-called open marriages What do you think the average life span of an open marriage is? Uh maybe a year.

Okay, no, they last four years. After four years, ninety-four percent. of m of open marriages end in divorce. And so he says, Every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin, and sin when it is finished, bringeth forth a death.

Do you know that word there finished? Uh That word right there Is used one place in the Bible, and that's it, right here. Oh. And when I'm talking about now, I mean, the word finished is in there and but in the Greek because Um There's a number of the words finished in English that have different Greek Definitions.

Now that word there in the Greek Um Apotelio, Apotellio. It means the ultimate consummation, the ultimate consummation. is the in other words, is completely ends in tu bringing forth complete death. Complete and total death, destruction. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above.

and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Okay. Uh Father of Lights, if you read Genesis chapter 1, verse 3. three What do you think he says? It says, The Lord says, And let there be light. And so So now here God was the one he was the father of light, he created light, okay.

But no, Here Where it says Um A father of light's whom is in no variableness, neither shadow of turning. When I first got married We have my wife and I we had an apartment in one of these big old English Tudor type homes. Uh, it it had three apartments in that home. It was a big one, okay. It was an old uh it was a real big old English tutor type now was converted, Actually into a A saloon.

And then converted back into a house with three apartments. But anyhow. Uh, when I first got married I I was in there and I I was painting the walls. because they really needed painting and uh Here I had a lamp on one of those lampstands. You know the big lampstands?

Yeah. Uh and so I t I took the lampshade off and I had like a hundred watt Light Bob in that and I had it right out in the center of the room. And If you looked at that light bulb, if you went over and stood and looked at that light bulb, it looked like, you know, it was perfectly. you know, the the the light was Uh there was no variableness in that light. It was the same all the way around.

But if you took the lamp And you turned it. Up on the walls, the shadows on the walls, you can see all the imperfections. than were in that light bulb. by the shadows in the wall, okay? where there was variableness.

Here What what he's saying with God It's completely pure. There's there's no variableness at all. It's completely pure. God's light is completely pure. God's holiness is completely pure.

Okay? He goes on neither shadow nor turning. Of his own, We'll beget he us. When the word of truth That we should be a kind of first fruits of his creation. That's.

The born-again believing church, huh? Mm-hmm. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. Uh What do you think? Let every man be Um Swift to hear Mm-hmm.

Okay. God gave us Uh one mouth and two ears, didn't he? And so that means we're to To hear twice as much as we say, huh? Yes.

And There's some Some people that that don't like that say too much. But Well, there's some there's some people that don't listen and just talk and talk and talk and talk. We we know some of those people, don't we? Mm-hmm. But uh we know one in particular that uh likes to talk and talk and talk and talk and uh And uh And I tell her there's write this poem.

There was an old owl set on an old oak, The more he heard, the less he spoke. The less he spoke, the more he heard, Why can't and I use her name Yubi like that wise old bird. And anyhow. And so here No. When he's talking about that That we should be Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to rep, In other words, uh there are Again Uh, w well, we talked about that, there are people That literally verbalized their thoughts.

They verbalized like. there's no filter. Right.

You and I, you know, we we kind of think about what we're going to say before we mess up, uh, sometimes. We think it out. And then we still choose to say it. It's crazy. That's the amazing thing, after we think about it, we still And so We're here.

Uh We go ahead and For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Now, here's when we get into this situation with the temptation. You know, ICIS Um and Antifa have are put out a magazine now. And the magazine is How to Attack Churches and Kill People in the Churches. Oh, great. And especially how to kill yeah, they put out a a magazine, it's a publication now, and it's it's out there.

And you notice that the the there's been a dramatic increase in attacks on churches. Most of them never even make the news. Yep. Okay. And so, but one of the things that Antifa has said that they were going to do is they were going to go.

Out into the white suburbs and kill white children. And uh And so here, like what you saw in Israel. With what they did with Hamas, when they went in and they were exclusive. Extremely cruel, extremely cruel. Knowing that that Israel When the when Israel took Revenge.

on them. That Israel, and that was the idea, is to have Israel do the same thing to. Um The Palestinian people, remember, Hamas doesn't care about the Palestinians. Hamas cares about Hamas. And that's what they wanted.

Their goal was to get Israel to come and commit the same atrocities. the same atrocities that they did, okay? And uh if Israel wasn't, then Hamas was doing it and making it look like Israel. Yeah, they would just stage it anyways.

So now, if if Antifa and Vern Luton murder. And I just came and Uh like they say they're going to do, we have to be prepared For this, okay. They want a Civil War. They're pushing very, very hard for a Civil War. Uh The the fact that, you know, that one person every day in Chicago is is murdered every day.

At least one person Actually a little more than that, okay? Uh in Chicago every day. And so The idea is to Um reprisal. For us to respond And this is what he's referring to. And so if they go and they kill and they shoot our children, should we go and kill and shoot their children?

No. No, no. Because if we respond and we act like them, Then we become them, don't we? Absolutely, then we're no better. Right.

So he goes on wherefore lay apart all No. Filthiness and severity of naughtiness. You know what that word means, separity? of naughtiness Uh no, not off the top of my head, no. In excess.

It means in excess. of naughtiness. And uh Naughtiness simply means Uh Evil, wickedness, again. and received with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save your souls. But be you doers of the word and not hearers only deceiving your own selves.

I've been preaching over fifty years for people to be doers of the word. not just hearers, to actually get out and do it, okay? And uh because if you don't, if you I've had people tell me, Pastor, listen, I appreciate what you're doing. I know, you know. when you know, in the in the heat of the battle in the pro-life movement here, when we would have all the operation rescues Oh.

we would be getting arrested, you know, getting arrested a lot.

Okay. And um And people, some depressive preachers, the pressive preachers would say, Don't Don't be like that Pastor Sanders. He's a lawbreaker. He's a lawbreaker. Romans thirteen says you have to obey the government.

Okay. And so Uh Here, don't be that way.

Now, the reason they did that, not because they believed it, is because they were afraid. They feared. They feared Caesar more than Than God. You know, the Bible Peter says, remember, we must obey God rather than man. Rescue those being led to slaughter and drawn to death.

So From Genesis to Revelation, resistance to tyranny is one. It's obedience to God, isn't it? Mm-hmm. Failure to resist tyranny.

So if you go to Hebrews chapter Levin and you look at heroes of the faith. Who fits into their The pro life the pro lifers. The pro-life Christians or the neo evangelicals are those that Say well, we Uh I had one preacher tell me, You'll never see me Protesting abortion as long as it's legal. I told him, I'll never see you doing anything that takes any courage or integrity. And That was all I needed to say to him, and he was gone.

Okay. And so He goes and he says For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a glass. I'm going to have to stop right there. I'll finish this all this week. But we're coming up on Tune The end of the program.

And the most important part of of this radio program. Folks is always bringing you the conclusion, and that is the salvation message.

So if you're out there listening to me, The time will come when nothing else will matter to you. This will happen. In fact, it happens every single day And I would imagine it's happened numerous times since I've been on the air tonight. Where The only thing that's going to matter to you is your standing with the Lord Jesus Christ. When your soul is required of you, and and your soul will be required of you, Then the only thing that's going to matter, because you're going to be in one or two categories, right?

The categories God looks at isn't whether you're old or young, fat or skinny. male or female, the category's whether you're saved But with the blood of the Lamb or whether you're lost. And Folks, believe me, you you want to be saved. Um You want to make sure, and you can do that. The Lord Jesus did all the heavy lifting.

Go to the Gospel of John chapter 3, read the Gospel of John chapter 3, and do it. Um Go to Romans chapter ten. Read Romans chapter ten and do it. You must be born again. You must be born again.

You must call upon the Father, pray to the Father, ask for forgiveness of your sin. Then you must ask the Lord Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life. Uh Completely and totally. Lord of your life. And if you do that Then you will become a new creature.

You will become a born-again believer in an early kingdom. and dwelt with the Holy Ghost.
