I'm Ken Michael, along with my co-host, Pastor Josh Schwartz.
Well, we know the fastest way to change a culture is to indoctrinate their children. And we've seen that all over the country. In fact, all over the world. We saw it back in the 30s with the Hitler youth. We're seeing it in Gaza right now, where they're indoctrinating children to not only hate, but to kill Jews at an early age.
And that's what we're witnessing in this country right now.
So to help us unpack all of this, we'd like to welcome back former Hollywood actress and host of the podcast, the Counterculture Mom Show, Tina Griffin. Tina, thanks so much for joining us. Hey, whatever I can do to help shake and wake America.
So as we look at what's happening in our culture right now, We see it's changing almost by the day. Where are we at with the indoctrination of our children, especially in schools? But we're also seeing it in the churches now. That video clearly showed that the enemy wants our children to learn a different Bible, a different Jesus. It's a mess all over the place, and I just want to encourage families from the get-go with this episode that we know that God wins in the end.
At the same time, I'm reading Bible studies with we're in the book of Matthew right now with our four teenagers. We homeschool, we're doing Liberty University Online Academy. We stripped them out of public schools. They were there for two years. And previous to that was a Becca.
And that's a whole story of why we put them in the public schools, but we are happy that they're back out of public schools. The indoctrination is massive, it's not just. In the entertainment, which is where my world has been, exposing the lies of pop culture and helping parents navigate safely the chaos that's happening around us. But it is in our education system and it is on social media. A lot of our kids today believe what they see from movies, TV shows, video games.
TikTok, Snapchat. And everything else in between, along with the indoctrination from public school.
So, if you add up the total hours, you're looking at 70 hours of pop culture influence on average per kid in America today, along with 40 hours of a backwards, godless message coming from public schools. You're looking at 110 hours a week. That our kids are learning a fraudulent, godless, satanic agenda and anything that goes with that. And we know all those topics and issues that we're seeing in our culture today. And if they go to church for one hour on a Sunday, and especially in today's American churches, 90 to 95 percent of those pastors are afraid Or their communists posing as pastors.
We have that going on in America today. Or pastors that are more concerned about what they wear than what they say. With only 5%, I would say from the churches I've been in speaking in myself. You are We're in trouble because we're not getting the truth from the word of God.
So, how can we curb that problem? Read the word of God like we're currently doing as the Griffin Klan here in Tennessee every morning, half an hour, if not 45 minutes. Right now, we're studying the book of Matthew with the four teenagers because if we know the truth, we will know deception when we see it. And it is all around us.
Now, yes, it's scary. And at the same time, it just tells me that all of us have our role to play in the end times in this very dark, depressing, demonic culture to make a difference with exactly what God has called us to do with our giftings, our talent, our time, our finances. It's critical. At the same time, it's exciting. I would rather live in this time professing the word of God with the time that we've got left than 100 years ago.
She made a great point there with all of the social media influence going on, and now we're trying to see them taint the word of God and subvert the word of God so that it's not the true word of God. Yeah, and I think that that's really the prerogative of Satan. Satan's prerogative is to distract and to deceive and then to delude and hopes to ultimately destroy all followers of Jesus and their families. And this is what we're seeing in that clip in the beginning with this new just love story Bible that is admittedly having an agenda that's progressive to move towards love and justice and not pointing out repentance and sin, which God calls us to as the church anyway.
Now, Tina, I think it's so exciting that you laid out exactly what you guys are doing. And it reminds me of what the scriptures say. The scriptures tell us in Deuteronomy chapter 6, the Shema. Beginning in verse 4, there, Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.
And these words, verse 6, that I command you today shall be on your heart. Verse 7: You shall teach them diligently to your children, and you should talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
So you're being a perfect example. How are parents to parent, especially Christian parents, are to be pointing their children to the word. We are to be discipling our children and not relegating that to the church. And then there, you're talking about 110 hours every week to basically dissect the indoctrination. I don't have but just a couple of hours every night with my kids to kind of deconstruct everything that they've been deconstructed from.
So we have to be really intentional with our children.
So thanks for leading by example and explaining how we are to be living faithfully in these days.
Well, I have to tell you that. Both of you are very encouraging to me as well. Jen Markel, I've been. The only word I can think of is positively stalking her for two decades. Because people like you help me, people like me, still keep moving forward and not wave the white flag.
The days that I want to give up, I read one of your articles, I check out one of your messages, and I told Jan Markell about three or four years ago when I saw her at NRB. She is one of the major reasons why I even have a program today, because of her wise words, her guidance, her encouragement, and two decades of information going into my brain to help combat the mess that I was seeing when I live firsthand in the Hollywood Hills.
So you have no idea. idea how both of you today are impacting the masses. You're not going to hear from everybody, but you are absolutely helping advance the kingdom and the cause of Christ. I want to say a quick thing about what we just talked about regarding that. Insane fraudulent Bible.
Satan has no creativity. He basically takes what God says and what God does and rips it off. He rips off music by making it satanic. When God created music and positive lyrics and positive frequencies, he has ripped off all of that. Or try to rip it off.
We know that he once again loses in the end. He's ripped off pastor messages. Just with AI and just the video footage I've seen over the last couple of years using AI, pastor messages today are being run by AI to deceive the masses and completely flipping the word of God through AI technology that people are watching on screen and thinking that it's accurate. Our images can completely be ripped off where we're not even the true people saying the message. I've had a couple guests on our program, the Counterculture Mom Show, talking about how they themselves, their identity was ripped off, a message they never said was blasted out to the masses, and they're trying to correct it because of AI that Satan is behind.
He's ripped off gender for our kids. And now, ripping off the Bible, it doesn't surprise me. For about two decades, I've been sharing with parents around this globe, speaking in schools, conferences, cruise ships, and everywhere in between, that for at least two decades, the printed word of God we have to be careful of today because many printed scripture, specifically about the homosexual agenda, that God warned us about, was removed from printed Bibles and a lot of the Bible apps that we have today. Kids up in Michigan, when I spoke up there, I did about 15 different assemblies over a week period. And several kids came up to me at different schools telling me, Tina, I'm trying to witness to my friends.
I pull up my Bible app and the homosexuality, you can't find one verse on my Bible app. I couldn't. I couldn't believe it. I had him pull it up. I looked, and sure enough, those verses, over 40, were removed from the Bible app.
So, we can see a massive issue here with the truth being censored and wiped off of God's green earth because Satan is trying to wreak havoc with the little time left that he's got. And the enemy is working overtime on this. We've had some of our messages subverted and tainted online.
So we just have to go through it and follow through it. But, Tina, You and your family are doing the right thing. But what do you say to parents who either don't have the time, they're both working, we know that story. How can they change this? Not only by spending more time with their children, but how can they change the culture?
How can they change their surroundings so that schools aren't woke, so that teachers aren't teaching this, so that school boards aren't promoting this LGBTQ cult teaching? I wish your show was about five hours long. I'll try to paraphrase. We do not have it all figured out at the Griffin Gang household here, but we have been very attuned. And honestly, our own program, and I know yours as well, when we're interviewing guests every single week on these topics, it's also a selfish motivation for me because I want to learn more and grow.
And so, by having experts on the program, I'm able to absorb what they're advising to do. They're ahead of the game for child rearing. They've messed up and told us what to watch out for. They know a lot of the red flags, they're experts in their field.
So, knowledge is power. Word of God, tune into programs that are teaching the truth from the word of God. And if you hear people say they're being, the bullets are flying their direction and Satan is after their family, you know that they are obviously doing what God's called them to do, which is a tester for us as Christians. In today's culture, if we're not getting heat from some other outside source, people trying to censor us, people trying to tell us to be quiet, people taking down our Facebook profiles or social media platforms. If that's not happening in our own life, and we're not causing a stir in our family members because we're.
Sharing the truth of God, then we're not doing enough as believers here in America. We should at this point be getting heat from some angle. And if I don't have some kind of flack happening or some kind of attack on our family or with me personally after a two-week period, I sit back and ask God: Am I cowering? Am I being a bench warmer? And then God would give me clarity.
You asked about time. We have had such a hard time in our family. We have four teenagers, 16 down to 12, to fit in having time with each of our kids each and every day. But we have to put them first. And so, what we have done that has helped.
Tremendously well, as I went to a recent conference that Wes Hone from Australia flew to Franklin, Tennessee, about two months ago. And he's a financial guy. How can you make a lot of cash to give it away in these end times to advance the kingdom? It was phenomenal. But one specific section in there was to literally print out a calendar.
And it's nuts that you asked me about this. I'm going to flash this up for the people. We printed out a calendar, literally, for each of us in the family. And I blocked off from six in the morning until ten at night. Specifically, what I was going to do throughout the week, and not to the point where it's every 15-minute increments, but.
30-minute increments on what we want to do. And what I blocked off in there is from five o'clock on, it is family time, critical family time that we spend with our kids.
Now, every now and then, there might be a critical phone call, critical email we got to send out, but for the most part, we stick to it. Why? Because from five to nine at night, we want to cook with our kids. We want to talk to them about their school day. What did they learn?
We want to help them develop their businesses. All four kids now started their own business. We helped them make the flyers in Canva to start their business. We got one kid walking dogs and taking care of pets. We've got another kid that started legit lawn care services.
He has a bunch of clients. And because they homeschool, all four kids are able to excel at their God-given talents as teenagers to figure out how to do work by learning how to work, not beyond pop culture and being ingrained in movies and video games 24/7. We do alumni play fun video games, but they're going back to the 80s. With limited time, even worse than what my mom was with me when I was a kid. Once you play your piano, Tina, do your homework and you're getting straight A's, you'll be able to play a little bit of Tetris.
Well, we even hone that down even less than what my parents let me watch and play video games and movies. And then we have a lot of teens over so we can witness to them on the weekends. We created a basement that was a fun environment, put a basketball hoop up. We've got a air hockey game that we have in here for the last two months that we brought in. A pool table, positive video games.
We're talking back in the 80s. We got Atari, Super Nintendo. But we also go out into the community and we get involved. Like we're helping out with Scott Hamilton's care fundraiser banquet coming up in two weeks, where we're helping people with cancer raise funds with this banquet. And then we also, two days later on the 25th, we're getting involved as a family to help with serving food to the homeless in downtown Nashville and a whole host of other activities between now and the end of the year, slotting them in.
In between their homeschooling classes and getting involved with the communities and in the Word of God.
So many things people can do, but it starts with. Every one of us must make time. And they must have a schedule printed off off of Google, find calendar week, fill it in, so you can create that time. And I'm telling you right now, I just had a conversation with my daughter's friend's mom regarding something serious that happened. and with them that they're facing.
And she listed off Seven activities her daughter is in. As if it was a good thing. And I encouraged her. I said, we actually did the exact opposite. We pulled our kids out of a lot of activities that is not kingdom focused because we believe Christ is right around the corner.
How do we want to invest our time, our talent, our giftings, our money once again with our kids? And that was. Get the word of God in them because if we have to die for the cause of Christ in America, it might get that bad. And I'm not joking. We want our kids to say, I'm willing to take a bullet for the cause.
Our kids know about the jihad movement on American soil. Our kids know about cyber bullying and suicide being the top two killer for our kids. They want to make a difference, and each and every day we're helping them develop their gifting.
So when they're mowing lawn with legit lawn care, I want my kid to be able to witness to the people that he's serving. And we can do it. We have to make time what matters in the end. Living in a mansion with millions of dollars in the bank account, going on fancy trips. Or literally spending the time doing less, having less, and doing more with our kids under the roof.
And I don't have this all figured out. This is just my mind and my mentality and the calling God placed in my brain that we are now executing on, my husband and I, together with our kids with the time that we've got left each and every day, adding another step to get closer to God. And I think that's really important. Thank you for really breaking that down of what a real family looks like and that really is taking this seriously. And every single thing that you were saying there, my mind just kept going back to be intentional, intentionality.
You only have your kids for a moment. Take advantage of the time that you have. Just pour the word of God into them and help them to serve, help them to own church, help them to own their faith and do what is right and what God calls us to. I think that's a beautiful thing that we must be doing.
So thank you for laying that out for us. And I also think that we have to keep focused on what the Word of God says. And here in the Psalms, Psalm 119, the longest Psalm in the Psalter, beginning in verse 65, says this, You have dealt well with your servant, O Lord, according to your word. Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe your commandments. God's word is true.
We believe it, and then we have to live it out. And it is through prayer that he gives us wisdom and knowledge in so doing. It's a beautiful thing. Thank you for laying that out for us.
So, Tina, we know that there is so much going on in our schools. That's, you know, you said it earlier. They spend a lot of their time in public schools. I want you to listen to this clip and then I'm going to get your comment. This morning, the Indiana Attorney General sued IPS over its immigration policies.
IPS currently maintains policies, unfortunately. That frustrates ICE's ability to do its job. The lawsuit points to a January 8th incident when it says IPS would not release a child to a father in ICE custody and instead put the child in touch with an immigration attorney for the evident purpose of advising the minor on how to avoid accompanying his father back to Honduras. The AG did not release the child's immigration status and did not answer 13 News's question if the child is a U.S. citizen.
Immigration attorney Sarah Burrell says that matters because ICE cannot force the removal of a U.S. citizen child if they have a trusted adult caretaker. Imagine losing custody of your child because you don't affirm the delusion that he or she was born in the wrong body.
Some parents are already facing this nightmare in California, and a new law would bring it to the state where I was born. The Colorado House just passed a bill that would consider it a form of child abuse if you're a parent and you misgender. your child, calling your son a boy or your daughter a girl. So, Tina, in that clip, we're seeing major influences in our culture. In fact, from the first part of this program, I would add that Christians really need to get involved physically, not just stand back. We know we have to pray, we know we have to take care of our family. But if we don't get actively involved in our culture, and that means maybe you, as a Christian, need to stand up and ask the Lord, hey, All right, no one else wants to do it. You send me, Lord.
I'm going to be that school board member. I'm going to be that city council member. I'm going to run for whatever position you ask me to do, and I'll do it. What are your thoughts on this? Don't you think that Christians need to get more involved in the culture?
Absolutely. You know, it's David versus Goliath here, and God has equipped each and every one of us to take a stand and throw the stone. And not sit back and watch our country unravel. with this sex, drugs, suicide cutting, now jihad movement that is literally taking over the land. It's because of our pass passivity of not even getting off the bench and in the game.
A lot of our programs for the Counterculture Mom Show talk about a lot of the topics that we see going on in our culture that a lot of churches are not addressing, which is why I think your program and our program, and several other people I know that are hosting shows that are worthy of listening to, why we're seeing a massive tidal wave hit with the number of viewers and listeners. People want truth. Your program and our program, we address the topics today, but we do something that a lot of programs don't do. And I want people that are listening to other shows to let other show hosts know and news outlets know. Don't just tell us the problems.
Give us the solutions. And then we go one step further on the counterculture mom show. We drop the bomb in the first third, the second third, we're talking about the solutions, and the third third, we talk to people about how to literally do the solution. How to run for school board, how to go to local libraries and remove those books off the shelves so our kids can't listen to them, how to pull your kids out of public school or get involved on school boards and in public office. It's critical.
This clip you just played was about Colorado State of Colorado. There are so many things going on with that state, but it's actually a nationwide problem. And it's because the leaders in a lot of these offices, as well as the judges in a lot of these states, Are literally demon-possessed. And I'm not joking when I say that. A lot of these people are carrying out a demonic agenda because they're demon-possessed.
I've been talking about demon-possessed celebrities from the Hollywood Hills for the last two decades with video clips when I do school assemblies and parent events showing clips of interviews of celebrities admitting they are demon-possessed.
So, when you have FBI research backing what I've seen firsthand for the last three decades, researching these people and how the dots all connect, when people see truth, they then connect the dots in their brain thinking, I knew there's a problem. These people are admitting it, I have to get involved. Yes, I know I need to do XYZ, but how do I do it?
So it's critical that we run for office and change what we are seeing in our culture. That's the only way we're going to have the tidal wave of influence in our nation fast enough to see progress. You're absolutely right. And it really, it's exactly what the scriptures say. Peter was writing to people who were living in dark days, who were being oppressed because of their beliefs, who were being persecuted because of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
And what does Peter say? He says this in 1 Peter chapter 2, verses 11 and following. Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.
So die to yourself. Don't give in to your temptations. Don't give into your flesh. And he continues on in verse 12. Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.
So we live honorably and faithfully outside of our home so that those who are not believing will say, hey, there's something different about them. What's different? We have the opportunity to share the gospel. And then he continues on in verse 13. 13 by saying this: Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and praise those who do good.
For this is the will of God: that by doing good, you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. We are to influence culture in the way that we live because we're living counterculturally. We're living the way that the Bible tells us to, the way that Christ would want us to.
So, you're exactly right, Tina. These are biblical commands of how we are to live, and we all need to be spurred on in how to do it intentionally.
So, Tina, I. We're hearing that there's this revival. There's young people, especially Gen Zs, coming to know who God is. And We're seeing it, we're hearing it, we're seeing it all over online. But What do we do to make sure that they're being led in the right direction and not to places where in the beginning we saw that they're not reading them this woke book that they're promoting?
Man, there's so much I want to share about this. I want to preface my answer with talking about a phenomenal church that we go to every Sunday, unless I'm gone speaking somewhere. Johnny Aravanis is the head pastor of Stonebridge Bible Church. We actually gained ground and hopefully will be moving to a new location in the Brentwood Cool Springs area that will be.
So much larger than where we currently meet, which is every single Sunday. We are, um, he rents a building right now, but we have four services because so many people are coming his direction. Why? Because he's literally teaching out of the word of God, and we are on fire when we leave. The fourth.
The fourth actual um Church service is probably filled 80% with young people, college, and high school and middle school students. It is phenomenal to see. The youth group is exploding.
So, I just want to encourage people out there: if you're going to a phenomenal church, have a bunch of people come on over. And if you are hearing from friends wrong information that they're getting from a watered-down church today that's more woke than awake, grab them, kidnap them out of that church, and bring them your direction so they can see the difference. How can we make sure our kids are on the straight and narrow? We have to be involved. And what I would suggest is that parents talk to their kids every single day: hey, what's new?
What are your friends reading? What TikTok videos are they seeing? What are you getting fed from your friends? Let's look at that. And then, how can we witness to your friends and point them to truth?
We also have to ask a lot of questions. We can't have our kids living in a bubble just because we homeschool our kids. They are fully aware of who a lot of the celebrities I talk about from the Hollywood Hills and expose on the program lovingly, saying they need the Lord, they got a talent that God gave them, but they're using it for their satanic agenda. Here's how they're doing that. We need to pray, send Bibles to their fan club addresses.
I do that because if we can get Ariana Grande, who's got 370 million followers right now, the top celebrity watched by the most kids in America, if we can send her a Bible and say, We love you, we don't support what you're promoting, and God gave you a message that you are not using and you're on the wrong side, you're leading millions of kids astray. That's going to wake up a celebrity.
So, we have to get our kids involved in culture in those ways by talking to them and asking a lot of questions. When something in our culture pops up and we're driving down the street and I see a billboard that's um Promoting an anti-God message, abortion. Whatever the case is, homosexuality. I will look at the billboard: kids, what do you see in that billboard? Oh, mom, it's this and that.
And they'll tell us: okay, what do you think we can do to change culture? Have them think of creative ways, get them out in the culture. And we need to serve our community with our kids by our side so they can see what being in the culture but not of it looks like. If you look at the left, the left is the violent side of everything that's happening in our country. I mean, if you look time after time after time, if conservatives didn't riot, In the streets, they weren't burning buildings after the tragic death of Charlie. You look at how the left has handled tragedy, it's very different, and the left has. Has instigated a lot of this. And I don't think that the both sides argument works in this case.
And I think it's actually works to our country's detriment if we are saying both sides. I mean, to be honest with you, Shannon, like most of these problems are coming from the left. Until we come to grips with that, we're not going to solve them.
Now, there's another expression of this tendency on the left, and it's the view that the man had it coming. And I always go back to. Hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. Why would you be in such a celebratory mood? about the execution of another human being.
Aren't you supposed to be on the caring, sharing left where? You know, you believe in the sanctity of life? I do believe in the sanctity of life, and I think that's why I felt, along with so many other Americans, joy, unfortunately. So, Tina, in that clip, We're hearing and we're seeing, we're witnessing this huge divide in the country. It's been coming on for a few years, but it seems like since the assassination attempts on President Trump and then the assassination of Charlie Kirk, there's this huge divide. It mainly revolves around Israel and the assassination attempts on President Trump and the assassination of Charlie Kirk. We're seeing not only a divide on the left where they're fighting with each other, but we're also seeing it on the right amongst Christians who are divided over Israel. That's where we're at in the culture right now.
Give us your thoughts on what we just saw.
Well, I can tell you that my guts are twisting from what I just saw. Like I physically feel sick when I see clips like that because The people that are celebrating another person's assassination, when people come knocking on their door to assassinate them, there will be no one left to keep them alive if they are excited that the conservative side is dead.
So it's something to think about. At the same time, The other thought in my brain is that how many of us as Republicans, conservatives who love the Lord are witnessing to, on a daily basis, the people that are lost, Democrats or the left, left, left. There's so many issues today in our culture because Republicans, conservatives. God-fearing Christians are not witnessing to the lost around us. And because of that, the light has not shown as bright as it could have.
And now we see massive issues. And we sat back and kept the bench seats warm instead of getting involved and active in our culture. And now that people are waking up to it, especially during the certification of vaccine ID. Pandemic a couple of years ago, we're trying to play catch up for the last four or five decades of just sitting back and relaxing and being entertained. on even the junk that we're seeing that's entertainment.
We've got to get busy. We have to witness to the lost. That's the only way we're going to create change in our culture. That lady is obviously lost. At the same time.
At the same time, this is how my brain works. Like, I don't even hardly sleep at night because I have too many ideas popping up in my brain. When I have been speaking to the lost, even teenagers in America the last two and a half decades, I have kids running up to me after a school assembly saying they were atheists when they walked into that gymnasium. They are now believing there's a possibility that God exists or they place their faith in Christ.
So we have to go forth, speak the word of God, point people to Christ that are lost, because once they see truth, They literally are Advocates of ours on the front of the battle lines next to us, nine times out of ten, more loud and bold than we are. And unfortunately, you know, we saw the divide on the left there and the hate on the left, but we're also seeing those on the right. those that call themselves Christians. Subverting the gospel. They're going against Israel.
We see these influencers like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and this, I'm sorry, this young influencer, Nick Fuentes, who are completely anti-Semitic and Hitler lovers and Stalin lovers, and they're in a battle with those that are trying to promote the gospel and tell the truth about what's going on in Israel. Yeah, it's destructive, it's deceptive, it's deluded and delusional, and it's destroying people. And that's exactly what Satan does. This is his prerogative in all things.
So, what do we expect to happen? We want to expect that Satan would do satanic evil things with good things that God calls us to stand for.
So, it's just We can't bury our heads in the sand and be shocked when we see things that are clearly inspired by the evil one.
Now, Tina, I think it was so important that you pointed out how people are just so transformed by hearing the word of God, hearing your messages, and then they are on fire. I mean, we see that all throughout the book of Acts. We see that all throughout the New Testament. When Christ gets the heart of an individual, saves them out of their wretchedness, and transfers them from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light, everything changes. They are transformed from the inside out.
Then their town is, or their family is transformed, then their town's transformed. And we have to stand up and keep preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. That's really what it comes down to. And you're absolutely right.
So thank you for saying those things.
Now, Tina, you have had a ton of time in Hollywood.
So you've seen the influence of the demonic there. You've seen the evil there. You've seen the good that comes out of that. How can We, as parents, help our children to be discerning with these things. I don't want to non-stop go back to something that we're pumping out, but at the same time, it's one of the coolest tools I think we have with the Counterculture Ministry team.
About five or six years ago, my husband and I were talking. I just got back from a speaking tour. And I told them the feedback. I said a lot of parents were coming up to me, putting their arms around my neck, and shaking me, many crying. Because when I end the presentation, I let them know that it's not too late.
I mean, we have a lot of kids. Suicide is a number two killer for our kids today. We've got cutting, drug sex. We've got AI technology completely leading people astray, wayward children that grew up in a Christian home. We have divorced.
Families where one of the spouses, ex-spouse, might be letting the kids do whatever they want, and then the other spouse. is um the other parent Is got the kids, and they have to start all over again every time they have different visits. Where there's a strain on how to raise our kids, and a lot of people come up to me. Hands around my neck, shaking me, saying, Just tell us what to do, and we'll do it because people are lost, overwhelmed, confused. weary, exhausted with raising kids in our culture today.
But we have a specific tool that my husband and I five or six years ago were talking about where The same comment kept being made. From parents attending one of our workshops or seminars, they kept telling us, I wish we would have known sooner about fill-in-the-blank, certain video game, a TV show, something. And so my husband and I developed the Counter Culture Mom app. And I'm just telling you, it is such a sweet tool. People have said, why don't you write a book?
Well, because we're so busy pumping out daily pop culture alerts, pop culture is constantly changing. I could write a book today, print it off the printing press, next week it's old. I mean, we like to teach the tools, but the same thing, pop culture is changing every single day. With tactics the enemy is using, with new things that are being launched, but then also positive pop culture. We want parents to know about the negative, what to run from, and the positive, what to cling to.
And it's a massive teaching tool, not just what to watch out for in a two-minute quick read by downloading the Counter Culture Mom app, Google Play, iTunes Store, Get It. It's a couple bucks a month, five bucks a month, or the whole year for 50 bucks.
Some of that goes to Apple, not happy about that. The rest of us come to the ministry to help us keep airing these programs every week. But this app helps parents within two minutes know what to watch out for before it's released. And also, talking points that parents can have with their kids, questions they can ask their kids. Red flags they can look at ahead of time, and positive entertainment options from TV shows, video games.
Movies that are coming out in the theater. We do giveaways through the app, and we have over 80 affiliates in that app over the last two decades of me speaking around this globe of people we partner through. With and also vetted deeply to make sure that they're closer and lined up with the word of God that we can point parents to. From combating the porn problem online to getting alerts on our phone if our kids, if they have a a tech gadget, a cell phone, for example, and they're getting Um pornography images or Being encouraged to engage in something that's harmful, the parent will be notified through BARC, for example, which is one of our affiliates. We have 80 of them.
They're fantastic companies that we trust. Parents can easily get a hold of that through the Counterculture Mom app. Why reinvent the wheel? We just want to have a hub that parents can trust. And we have a lot more than just that.
Blogs that we write through there, our podcast is visible through there. And then over 30 to 40 experts in different fields, like Satanism. We have a pastor that talks about Satanism, the red flags. how to watch for it in pop culture in our media today wasn't due to fight back. all the way to home schooling options for our kids.
We have home schooling experts in our app.
So, one fantastic family that's fighting on the front of the battle lines together. through that counterculture mom app. That's where I point people to. And we have scripture throughout that app that lines up with the Word of God.
So it's a win-win for people that want to know how to navigate this pop culture mess that we're living in. Praise God. Yeah, that's great information.
So, Tina, as we wrap it up here, let's talk about, I think, the three things that are influencing our culture the most. And that's this social Marxism that's being indoctrinated in our schools, the LGBTQ mob that is being pushed on our kids. That hasn't gone away. And then now we're seeing not just the rise, but it's already here. And that's Islamists going city by city and literally taking over government, school boards.
City councils, mayors, and we see them now in national positions. I just got back from Europe a couple months ago, and they have had, they're not at the breaking point. They've broke. They're riding. They are protesting.
It's going to get violent. And our message is it's not coming here, folks. It's already here.
So what can we do to come?
Now that we know the problem, what can we do as Christians? What should we be doing to combat this? I think the number one thing is make sure our kids know the word of God. Their identity is in Christ and not pop culture or anything else that Satan is trying to sell them on a daily basis. Witness with your children out in the community.
Get involved in your communities. Bring the lost to Christ. We can't rewrite scripture, and we know in the end times, scripture is clear in the book of Revelation, many, many as in millions, will be beheaded for the cause of Christ during the tribulation period. And I can go and talk for an hour about how that stage is already set on American soil for literal guillotines, beheadings happening. We have to make sure our kids are willing to die for the cause.
We need to make sure that we are willing to die for the cause because that's the. Late stage of the game that we're living in, at the same time, not live in fear. Whatever God is calling us to do today for the mission, vision, talents, time, money that He's given us to use those resources wisely. To reach the loss for Christ. And if we're afraid and if there's fear.
That's from the enemy, but it goes one step further. If we have fear, that is also a sign that is exactly what we are supposed to do to carry out the mission God gave us. for the remaining minutes that we have on God's green earth. That fear is a sign that we're supposed to do exactly what we fear. Take it as a good sign, not a negative one.
It reminds me of what the scriptures say in 2 Peter chapter 1. Peter lays out so clearly these things. His divine power, that's God's divine power, has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted us his precious and very great promises so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. We must be grounded in God's word and praising God for the grace that he's shown us and the grace that he continues to allow us to live in, to give us the words, to give us the actions in the time that we need them.
