On Friday, the biggest earthquake to hit New York City hit.
The biggest earthquake in 140 years hit New York City. We have a 2024 conflict that involves ancient Bible characters. Like today, we literally have the Israelites fighting the Philistines and the Canaanites and the Persians right now. The UN and the whole world, sadly including America, seems to be allying themselves against Israel. Just like the book of Revelation said would happen. Magog or Russia is threatening nuclear war just like Ezekiel said they would. No wonder 40% of Americans now believe we are living in the last days, the end times.
My question is this. If we are living in the end days, what role does the church play in the end times? Do we have, as a body of Christ, is there prophetic significance about the church in the last days?
I believe the answer is yes. I want us to go back to 1 Timothy. We've been going through the book of 1 Timothy. We're now at 1 Timothy chapter 3. Turn there if you would in your Bibles. 1 Timothy chapter 3. Let's start actually at 1 Timothy.
We're going to go back to some verses here. Let's start with 1 Timothy 3.14. The apostle Paul is writing to a young man named Timothy and says, Timothy, the church at Ephesus is a mess.
I need you to go and get that church back online. He says something very interesting in verse 14. He says, Timothy, I'm writing these things to you. Hoping to come to you soon, but in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God. Timothy, I'm writing these things.
What are these things? These things, everything from chapter 1 up to this point. Remember chapter 1, Paul says, I'm writing you about the importance of the gospel. You've got to get the core message of the gospel right. Chapter 2, he reminded Timothy about the importance of prayer in the church. I urge you first of all to be a praying church, 1 Timothy 2.1. Chapter 2, he wrote about the roles of men and women in the church.
Those are these things that he's saying. Timothy, these things are so important. Then in chapter 3, verse 1, part of these things that he's writing them about is the importance of good, godly leadership in the church.
Turn there if you would to 1 Timothy 3, verse 1. Paul says this, it is a trustworthy saying, if any man aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a good work. An overseer then must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but considerate, peaceful, free from the love of money, leading his own household well, having his children in submission with all dignity. But if a man does not know how to lead his own household, how will he take care of the church of God? And not a new convert so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation of the devil. And he must have a good reputation with those outside the church so that he will not fall into the reproach and the snare of the devil. Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not indulging in much wine, not fond of his dishonest gain, but holding the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. And these men must also first be tested, then let them serve as deacons if they are beyond reproach.
Women must likewise be dignified, not malicious gossips, but temperate, faithful in all things. Deacons must be husbands of only one wife, leading their children and their own households well. For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a high standing and great boldness in the faith that is in Christ Jesus. What Paul is saying typically, it's very important if you're going to have a strong biblical church that changes the world for Jesus. It starts with the leadership. And in this passage, Paul seems to give three categories of leaders.
Now, you have to understand this. If you look at Acts and Titus and 1 and 2 Timothy, there seems to have been a lot of flexibility in church leadership in the New Testament world. But you basically have three categories of leader. Number one in this passage, you have Timothy. He's the point man.
It's interesting. The church always has a point man leading the church. Here it's Timothy. In Titus, it's Titus. In the book of Acts, it's Peter, and then it's James.
There's always a point man. That level, that category of leadership really is the pastor. I serve as that point person at cross assembly and the pastoral staff is an extension of that. Then the second category is the overseer or the elder category.
Do you see that? They help oversee the life and the leadership of the church. And then the third category are the deacons. That literally means the servants, those who use the church's funds, use those church's gifts and offerings to serve the body of Christ. That's the deacons.
And it's interesting if you notice this. In the passage, Paul basically stays away from job descriptions. Pastor, you're supposed to do this. Elder, you're supposed to do this. He stays away from that and he talks about character.
Isn't that something? See, today in the American church, we're into personality, not character when it comes to leadership. Remember this. Personality is what you are in the light when everybody can see you. Character is what you are in the dark when nobody can see you. And Paul is saying to Timothy, it is vital that the church be led by individuals of strong godly character. And so I want to just hit very quickly, we don't have time to get deep into this, but I want to hit just a couple of these character traits that Paul talks about. Verse two, he says, look, leaders are to be above reproach.
Now watch this. That doesn't mean that leaders are to be perfect. Otherwise, we're all messed up people. I've told you all before, I'm a messed up man leading a bunch of messed up people.
That's cross assembly. But that word above reproach, in Greek, it literally means you can't grasp a hold of them. There's no scandal in their past. There's nothing that everybody knows about, this big affair, this scandal that people know about, this big moral failing.
There's nothing like that that you can grab a hold of and point and say, look what kind of man this is. That's what that word means. Now again, I've hit this before, I've hit this again because every week there's a new scandal hitting the news about pastoral leadership in the American church. I've told you before, if a pastor has a moral failing, can Jesus forgive him? Absolutely. If he has a scandal, can the Lord forgive him? Absolutely. If he has a scandal, should he be a pastor again?
Absolutely not. You're no longer above reproach. We're seeing this phenomenon all over the place. Have an acquaintance who's on staff at a mega church in another state, it's not this state.
But what happened to him is a pattern I'm seeing happening all over the place. The senior pastor in his church had a moral failing, was removed from leadership, took a few months to get rehabilitated, and then said, church, I'm ready to come back to be your pastor. And the church says, no, we love you, you can attend here, but you're not above reproach. You've given up your right to be a pastor of this church.
So what does he do? He goes down the road and starts another church and bashes this church. They are legalistic, they've got a religious spirit. You know, the church that paid his mortgage for 20 years. The church that paid his bill for 20 years. They're now legalistic, they now have a religious spirit because they won't let the man come back and preach again.
That's wrong. Chad, if that ever happened to you, if you had a moral failing, would you insist that you come back and pastor cross-assembly? No, because it's hard to pastor when you've been murdered. And so I'm worried about my wife more than anything else. If I have a moral failing, y'all don't even have to worry about that.
That's a non-issue, okay? Listen, when you call yourself a pastor, suddenly there's another standard that you're held to. It's a higher standard. And the apostle Paul says to Timothy, Timothy, listen to me. If you're gonna choose leadership in that church and get this church right, you gotta be leaders who are above reproach. And then he says also, another trait is they have to be, look at verse two, husbands of one wife. Verse 12, husbands of one wife. Paul talks about the marriage relationship. This again is the moral relationship. These leaders must be husbands of one wife.
Now what does that mean? A lot of people means, well, the thing that means they can't be polygamists. Polygamy was kind of common, not overly common, but it was kind of common in those words. Maybe they can't be a polygamist. Or maybe they can't be divorced and remarried. The Greek literally says they must be a one-woman man. So forget about polygamy and divorce. What he's saying is Paul, leaders in the church, must be faithful to their wives. They must be one-women men.
They cannot be flirtatious. In fact, I heard Chuck Swindoll say one time, y'all know who Chuck Swindoll is. I'm glad I heard him say this because I get the same thing launched to me. Chuck says, people get mad at me, women get mad at me because I'm so friendly and nice to their husbands, but when they come up on a hug from Pastor Chuck or whatever, I'm a little bit cold, a little bit standoffish.
And he said, that's by design. I would rather be known as a little bit cold and standoffish than a little bit huggy and flirtatious. And I get nervous when I see Pastor, hey, come give Pastor a hug. Sweetie, come here and give Pastor Chad a hug. Give me a big hug. You looking pretty today.
Paul says, no, no, no. If you're gonna be a leader, you're committed to that woman. She's your wife. She's the apple of your eye. She's the one that you're dressed up for. She's the one that you want to impress. It's not the women of the church.
A one-woman man. And he says, Timothy, something else you've gotta think about as you're putting leaders in place here at the Church of Defices is the alcohol issue. Verse three, the leaders cannot be addicted to wine.
Do you see that? Verse eight, not indulging in much wine. Now we at cross assembly take that mandate and then what Paul says in Romans and First Corinthians, have you read this before?
He says, if you are a mature believer, and our leaders are to be mature believers. If you are a mature believer, if something that you consume can make another Christian stumble in their faith, don't do it. And that's why we at cross assembly have a standard that if you're a pastor, a deacon, an elder, you cannot consume alcohol because I've seen so many ministries go down the tubes because of that issue. And I also think that if you were to see me at Chili's knocking back, you know, what do they say?
I don't even know what alcohol, tequila or whatever. You see me knocking that back, do you think that might make you stumble in your faith? Absolutely. And so the Apostle Paul says, when you put leaders in place, that issue has to be an issue that you look at. And then also Paul says, these leaders, you gotta be able to trust them with finances of the church. Look at verse three. They've gotta be free from the love of money. Do you see that? Verse eight, not fond of dishonest gain.
The leaders have to be good with the money. That's why literally when people come up to me and say, I have this happen. I had it happen recently. Chad, I forgot to put my money in the offering box. Can you put it in there? I said, no.
You'll have to find somebody else. I don't touch the money of the church. Billy Graham says, the three G's get more pastors in trouble than anything else.
Gold, glory and girls. I stay away from all three of them, okay? And now we're in 2024 and guys. Whatever. So I stay away from. And it's interesting.
I read this stat. There's a news article this past week that said researchers from Gordon-Conwell seminary, legitimate seminary, said if we stay on the trajectory this year of the last several years, that Christian leaders are on track to embezzle 86 billion dollars in 2024. And so this passage, and another passage we're gonna hit in a couple weeks, imply that the early church was incredibly generous with their money. They were incredibly generous with their tithes and offerings. And so if they're that generous, if there's an influx of money, you have to have leaders who are, watch this, who are very careful with how they spend that money.
You gotta be able to trust them. Which incidentally is kind of interesting. End of last year, we had our biggest giving year ever. It's been crazy.
It's amazing here. January, February, March, our giving to general fund has really gone down quite a bit. And I asked somebody what happened and somebody said, you know, there's a lot of economic instability and uncertainty out there. Maybe people, look, if I thought that there's economic instability, I'd actually be giving more, not less. Because I just believe that when you give, God blesses you. And so I want us to be like that first century church that gave generously. I wanna be like, you ever read this in the Old Testament, where they're building a tabernacle, God says to Moses, Moses tell all the people, bring all your stuff, your money, your gold, your stuff, all the stuff that you can give, sacrificially give to the tabernacle. Have you read this before? And they responded so well, they gave so much, God finally said to Moses, tell them that's enough, you've given enough. I would love to have that problem.
I don't think that'll ever happen across the assembly. I don't think I'll ever say stop giving. Y'all keep giving to the cause of Christ, but it's interesting, Timothy is being told, as you're looking at leaders, don't look at materialistic men, look at men that can handle the money in God's way. So now look, why is this so important? And why is it important that the church gets, verse 14, these things right?
And again, what are these things? Gotta get the gospel right. We gotta be a praying church. We gotta practice biblical gender roles. We gotta have strong moral leadership. Paul says to Timothy, it's important that the church gets these things right.
Why is that? Well look at verse 15. Because we're not just the church. We are not just a religious institution. We're not a glorified lion's club or rotary club.
No, no, no. Look at verse 15. We are the church of the living God, the pillar and the support of the truth. We are the pillar and we are the support of truth. That's who the church is.
Now what does it mean to be the pillar and support? Remember, Paul is writing to Timothy that's trying to get the church back on track in what city? Ephesus. Now remember, Ephesus was the center of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, which was the temple of Diana or the temple of Artemis. It was an incredible temple.
Here's an artist's rendition of what that may have looked like. It was a massive, massive temple. There were 127 marble pillars, marble columns, supporting this massive roof. In those marble pillars, there were actually precious stones in there, kings from all over the world, to pay homage to the goddess Diana. The demon goddess Diana would send in these pillars and put their stones in there. Those pillars were supporting this massive roof. So when the apostle Paul is saying to Timothy, tell the church that you are the pillar, you are the foundation of the truth, their minds probably went to the temple of Diana right down the road.
Let me ask you something. If you have a building that's being held up by a pillar, let's say a singular pillar, or a foundation, if you move that pillar and take it out of the way, what happens to the whole building? It collapses.
You take the foundation and pull it out. What happens? The whole thing collapses. Listen to what Paul is saying to Timothy. Timothy, truth, reality, stability, order, the spiritual order that God has in place, it's all being held up by the church of Jesus Christ. You all are the pillar, you're the support of the truth, and when that pillar is removed, the whole world is going to fall apart.
That's what he's saying. That's why it is so important that the church gets this thing right. Our world, our society is being built, is being rested upon, held up by the church, which is the pillar and the foundation of the truth.
Isn't that great? It's interesting how even atheists and secular people are starting to understand that. Last week, the atheist Richard Dawkins was interviewed. Are you all familiar with Richard Dawkins? Probably the most famous atheist of our generation. He hates, actually, Christianity.
He thinks it's a fable, it's a myth. Last week he was asked what he thought about the Muslim mayor of London putting up Ramadan lights during the Easter season in London. Richard Dawkins said it really bothered him. He says this, because when you remove Christianity in a society and replace it with something like Islam, things get real bad and real chaotic. He even commented that it's because of the collapse of Christianity, he says this, that in Britain today, we can't even use gender pronouns. We can't even say there are two genders because Christianity and the Judeo-Christian world view has been pulled from our society.
He said, we're now at the point you can't even just say there are just two genders? Richard Dawkins said, this is kind of interesting, he said, I now call myself a cultural Christian. Now before you get too excited, he did not get born again, but here's what he's saying. He's saying, I now as an atheist, I now realize what happens when you pull Christianity out.
The whole thing starts to collapse. Isn't it amazing how an atheist seems to be seeing reality more than the body of Christ is? My question is, will the day come when the pillar, the foundation of the truth, the church of Jesus Christ, is the day ever gonna come when that's gonna be removed?
Yes, it is. I want you to look real quickly, turn over if you would, and do this for me, start bringing your Bibles to church, okay? Don't just rely on this. I could be putting up the Quran up here and you wouldn't know what's going on with your Bible. So if you would, bring your Bibles to church and turn if you would over to 2 Thessalonians chapter two. 2 Thessalonians chapter two, Paul is talking about, watch this, the coming seven years of tribulation where it will be literally, not figuratively, hell on earth. Those seven days of tribulation, there's a biblical name for that. It goes by several names, but one of the names of those seven years of tribulation is this title.
Have you heard of this before? The Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord is not a 24 hour period.
It's a seven year period where God's judgment is poured out on planet earth. That's what he calls this in verse two, the day of the Lord. And in 2 Thessalonians chapter two, he says one day, the antichrist will be taking over the world. In verse three, he's not called the antichrist. He's called the man of lawlessness. And when he takes over, anarchy and chaos is just gonna run rampant on planet earth.
You think things are bad now, you have no idea how bad they're gonna get. During those seven years of tribulation, chaos and anarchy are gonna just take over planet earth. So Paul asks the question in 2 Thessalonians chapter two. Okay, what's holding back that spirit of the antichrist right now? What's restraining the antichrist from taking over planet earth? What's holding back this flood of just chaos taking over planet earth in the day of the Lord, those seven years of tribulation?
What's holding it back? Verse six, he answers that question. Look at 2 Thessalonians two, verse six, look at this. And you know what restrains him now, what's holding back the man of lawlessness, what's holding back the antichrist now, so that in his time he will be revealed. One day, it's gonna be very clear who the antichrist is. Verse seven, for the mystery of lawlessness, it's already at work, it's happening now, only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Wow.
So I want you to see this. Verse seven says there is a restraining force that's holding back the antichrist, the end times, the day of the Lord. Verse six, and I want you to see this. Verse six, Paul calls that restraining force, watch this, a what? In the Greek language, this is a neuter participle, it's not a man, it's not a woman, it's a what?
It's some type of organization, it's a what? Something is holding back the antichrist, something is holding back the day of the Lord, it's a what in verse six but then in verse seven, Paul calls this restraining force a he, that's a masculine participle. It's also a person.
Now, you still with me here because this is so important. So the day of the Lord, the seven years of tribulation, hell on earth is coming. A what, verse six, is holding him back. And a he, verse seven, is holding him back.
So what is the what and what is the he? Well, I believe the he is the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament, it is always the Holy Spirit that restrains sin.
Did you know that? In places like Isaiah 59, 19 and Genesis 6, 3, it's always the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament restraining evil. Okay, so that's the he, verse seven, it's the Holy Spirit that's keeping this back.
What is the what? What is the what in verse six? Well, according to 1 Corinthians 3, verse 16, Paul says, the church, collectively, is the temple of the Holy Spirit. I know our individual bodies are the Holy Spirit and also in 1 Corinthians 3, 16, this church is the place where the Holy Spirit dwells. I'm convinced the what who's holding back the antichrist is the Holy Spirit.
I'm part of the he is the Holy Spirit. The what is the church. The day is going to come when the church is taken out of the world. We call that the rapture of the church. Those of us who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will be taken out of the world, verse seven.
When that restraining force is taken out of the world, all hell is going to break loose on planet earth. We, the temple of the Holy Spirit, the place where the Holy Spirit is housed will be taken out and then the end is going to come. It's going to be quick. If you look at 1 Corinthians 15, 52, it says this rapture is going to occur in the twinkling of an eye. People think that means a blink. Actually, a blink is fast compared to this. Physicist Chuck Missler says, no, no, no, when it talks about the blink of an eye, the twinkling of an eye, that means the time it takes for light to pass through the retina.
That's 10 to the negative 43 seconds. Basically, the church is going to be gone and then we're gone. People laugh at that doctrine. Chad, you mean to tell me what 1 billion people on planet earth are Christians and so 1 billion people are going to be gone just like that?
Why don't you listen to me? 1 billion people on planet earth are not Christians. There may be a lot of people who claim to be Christians. We don't have a billion people on planet earth who are Christians. I think it's going to be a relatively small group of people who will be raptured because Jesus says, wide is the road, narrow is the gate that leads to destruction, but narrow is the road and narrow is the gate that leads to eternal life and very few find it.
However you want to look at it, the rapture is going to occur and then, then the end is going to come. My question is, why is the church so vital? Why is it so important that we get prayer right, gender roles right, leadership right? Why is it important that we get it right because we are the restraining force that's holding back the antichrist, that's holding back chaos, that's holding back anarchy and when we're gone it's over. That's why it's important and so if you really believe that, which I do, if the church is the restraining force against global collapse, what do we do?
Just throw a couple things out. Obviously missions, I mean we got to, if you believe this thing is winding down like I do, if these are the last days, then we need to get the gospel out to as many people as possible. I'm really not interested in Jesus coming back and finding me sitting on a nice big retirement so I can go to Myrtle Beach and drink non-alcoholic mixed drinks on the beach for the rest of my life. I'm not interested in that.
I'm interested in using my funds to get as many people into the kingdom of God as possible before Jesus comes back. So that's an obvious thing but let me give you a couple other things. Number one, if we believe these are the end times, number one, we're to be different. We're to stand out. We're to have different values. There's got to be something different. See the church in America is so big on let's be like everybody else to show them Christianity is cool and then we'll attract them.
That doesn't work. I never met a lost person who shared his testimony that said I was a messed up reprobate who used profanity and slept around and I found somebody else at work that was just like me except he claimed to be a Christian and I decided to complicate my life and become a Christian as well. No. What I've heard is men and women say I was messed up, had no hope, I was miserable and there's some at my work that they had a different value system and they were kind to people and there's a joy about them and I said I want what they've got and I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. We're to be different. Number two, if these are the end times and if we are the restraining force against evil then we are to be, I'm gonna keep hitting this thing, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are a Pentecostal church which believes our focus is on Jesus, not the Holy Spirit but we believe in being empowered by the Holy Spirit to lift up Jesus in these last days and I've told you this before, maybe, maybe, you could have stood strong without the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the 1800s, early 1900s, whatever.
I think those days are over. I don't see how you're gonna stand strong for Jesus Christ in these dangerous times without the power of the Holy Spirit. You need to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. And then the third application or what do we do if this is true is this, we've got to keep our focus on Jesus. Scholars say verse 16, go back to First Timothy chapter three verse 16.
Scholars say that verse 16 was a popular first century song. The way it's written and I guess the rhythm and whatever scholars who look at this and this is actually part of a hymn that Paul is now quoting to Timothy. And he says to Timothy verse 16, and by common confession, great is the mystery of godliness. God becoming man. He who is manifested in the flesh. God who came to earth as a man. He was vindicated in the spirit. He was crucified and everybody thought he was a common first century criminal and yet the Holy Spirit raised him from the dead and he was vindicated.
No, he's not just a man, he's God. He was seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up into glory. He says you've got to keep your focus on Jesus. We're not doing that in the American church. It's about my felt needs, my desires, preach a sermon to kind of get me motivated, me self-actualized, it's me. And Paul says no, it's not about you, it's about Jesus.
Keep your eyes on Jesus. Now look, I got great leaders on staff of this church. Great leaders who are smarter and I'm not being facetious. They're better leaders than I am. Part of being a good leader is you learn from leadership in the world and evidently the world's big on surveys. Every time you turn, have you noticed this? Every time you turn around, there's a new survey.
How can we do better? And so they're big on, let's send out surveys. They've been sending out surveys and I read them and I get so aggravated when I read the surveys because it's all about me.
This program would help me. This event would help me. I'm interested in this.
Why don't you have this for me? And I almost to the point and say no more surveys. I don't want to send any more surveys out. Chad, you mean you're not interested in seeing how this church can better meet my needs?
No, I'm not. I want to raise up an army of people who are going to take this world from the Lord Jesus Christ. I want bold, strong, self-sacrificial men and women of God who say these are the end times. Let's reach the world for Jesus Christ. That's what I want to raise up.
Our focus has got to be on Jesus. Bill Thurman is a man that teaches tightrope walking. I love this. He said, when I'm teaching tightrope walking, when new students step onto the rope or the cable, they always begin with the same flawed game plan. My students always stare downward at the wire to ensure that they have the proper footing. They stare at their feet to make sure their feet are properly placed, and so they fall.
So what's the solution to this dilemma? If you've ever looked closely at professional tightrope walkers, you will recall that they never look down at their feet or the wire or either side or at their hands or at the balance pole. Instead, professional, good tightrope walkers always keep their head up and look forward toward the goal, the faraway platform in front of them. That's the best advice I could hear for Christians today. Keep your head up and look at your goal. Keep your head up and keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep your head up and understand these are the last days. Keep your head up and don't look for the antichrist to come. Look for the Christ to come. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
That's what the church of Jesus Christ is called to do. I remember years ago. You all remember 9-11? Remember how catastrophic that was? It's kind of interesting now we've got a whole generation of young people who don't remember 9-11. Do you know how psychologically catastrophic that was? We've forgotten because it's been a long time.
What, 23 years? It's on a Tuesday. Every pastor has got to have a pastor that he kind of feeds from, looks up to. I have to look at church. There are churches I look at that feed me so I can feed you. And there was a church when I was a young pastor when he was nine years old or whatever at the time. There was a church that I looked up to, the pastor I looked up to.
They're the ones that fed me. And so 9-11 is on a Tuesday. And I ask myself, how are they going to open up Sunday morning service? I mean, this is the Sunday after 9-11. Are they going to have a time of mourning?
Are they going to have, what are they going to do? And I'll never forget when that service started. They didn't start with a preacher.
They didn't start with announcements. They started with this song that we're about to sing. Hallelujah. The Lord God Almighty reigns.
Hallelujah. Holy are you, Lord God Almighty. Worthy is the Lamb. Worthy is the Lamb. You are holy.
It's a beautiful way to start a service after 9-11. All this stuff is going to pass away. I know this world is chaotic, but that doesn't change the fact that Jesus is still on the throne. He still rules.
He still reigns. Get your eyes off the news and the Muslims and the this and the... Put your eyes on Jesus. So would you stand with me right now? And for the next few moments, can you get your eyes off yourself?
What's going on in your job and your finance? Let's get your eyes off that person. In a few moments, can you put your eyes on Jesus? Can you lift up holy hands? And can you worship the Lamb slain from the foundation of the earth? He's coming back again to take us home.
In fact, I'm ready to go home, y'all. Let's worship Jesus right now. Worship Him. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. For the Lord God Almighty reigns. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. For the Lord God Almighty reigns.
Hallelujah. Holy, holy are you, Lord God Almighty. Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb. You are holy, holy are you, Lord God Almighty.
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb. May God is on the rise again. Persia's about to attack the Israelites.
Solar eclipse is a pathetic sign. If the earthquake is God's way of trying to get our attention, if these are the end times, then how are we supposed to live? Are we supposed to run in fear? Are we supposed to hide under a rock?
Are we supposed to huddle in our life boat and say, oh Lord, don't let the bad guys get us, don't let the liberals get us, don't let them? If these are the end times, then what we're supposed to do is we're supposed to be afraid of anything.
