Now I want to tell you about a concept you see throughout the New Testament. And I'm going to use some big words, so don't let your eyes glaze over. Stick with me, okay? There's a principle in the New Testament. Here's the principle.
The indicative precedes the imperative. The indicative precedes the imperative. Anyone know what language of the New Testament was written in? Greek. You have a verb form in the Greek that's the indicative.
The indicative, watch this, it explains a fact. Like in the Greek the indicative would be This floor is hard. That's the indicative. This sanctuary is cold. That's the indicative.
The indicative is stating a fact. Imperative is a command. Do this, do that. And in the New Testament... The indicative constantly precedes the imperative.
In other words, before God tells you what to do. He'll tell you who you are. We see it in places like, look at this, Colossians chapter 3, verse 12. Therefore, as God's chosen people holy and dearly loved. Stop.
That's the indicative. You're God's chosen person. That's a reality. You are chosen. You're loved.
That's the inticative. And here's the imperative, the command. Therefore, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another. If any of you has a grievance against someone, forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Do you see this? You are holy. You're chosen. You're children of God. That's the indicative, that's reality.
Therefore, love each other. Be kind to each other. Forgive each other. The indicative precedes the imperative. We see kind of something like this in John chapter 8.
Y'all read the story: woman's caught in adultery. And she's thrown at the feet of the Lord Jesus. And the Pharisees said, Mean, stone her to death. And you know, Jesus said, Whoever among you that is without sin, cast her first on. They all walk away.
And then Jesus says this to the woman. He says. Neither do I condemn you. Go and send no more. Indicative, you are not condemned.
You are forgiven. Therefore, imperative the command, go leave this life of sin.
Now in the church we reverse that. We say Go and sin no more. And I won't condemn you. We say, live holy, righteous, good lives. Live like that, and then you'll be considered righteous and holy.
No, the moment you get saved, God looks at you and says, holy, righteous, pure, forgiven.
Now, here's how you're supposed to live your life. Peter does the same thing in 1 Peter 1. And we've been going through the book of 1 Peter.
So look if you would. 1 Peter chapter 1. And up to this point It's all been the indicative. Peter is stating a fact to the body of Christ. He says, verse 2: Hey, fact indicative, you're chosen.
Verse 2, hey, fact indicative, you're cleansed. Verse 3, fact. Indicative, you have hope. Verse 4, you have an inheritance. Verse 5, you're held secure by God.
Verse 8, you have joy. Verse 10, here's another one: you have a relationship with God that the people in the Old Testament envy. Look what he says in verse 10. Of this salvation, the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you. of the grace that would come to you.
Searching what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when he testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow to them, to these Old Testament writers, it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us, they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Things which Angels desire to look into. Do you see what he's saying? Your salvation is so great. These guys in the Old Testament knew when I sacrificed a lamb, that lamb was not cleansing me of my sins.
That sacrificial lamb was pointing to the true lamb that was going to come, Jesus Christ. These guys in the Old Testament, as they're writing the Old Testament, they're like, man. I wish I could live in 2026 with all these people and see firsthand the true revelation of who Jesus Christ is. I envy you, is what those guys said. And in fact, in the verse 12, he says, This salvation y'all have.
It's so great, even angels say, Oh man, y'all don't know how lucky you are.
So, I'm going to throw all these indicatives. You have hope, you're forgiven, you're clean, you're pure, you're holy, you have this great salvation that the Old Testament people envied, you have a great salvation that the angels envied. All those are indicative.
Now for the first time in verse 13, Peter shifts gears. Based on this. What God has done for you, who you are.
Now, let me give you some imperatives. Let me give you some commands. Verse 13: Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind. Be sober. And rest your hope fully on the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts as in your ignorance, but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct because it is written, be holy. God says 'Cause I'm holding.
Okay.
So you see where we're at. He's just told you how blessed you are. First several verses here, up to verse 10, how blessed you are.
Now he's saying. Based on that Let me give you some commands. How you live your life. Jot down this first command. Number one, think straight.
Look at verse 13. Therefore, gird up the loins of your mind. And be sober. What does it mean to gird up the loins of your mind?
Well, in Peter's day, everybody wore robes. If I'm a warrior And I'm about to go to battle. And I got my sword in my hand. I don't want my robe to trip me up.
So I'd get my robe and I'd tie it up and I'd go into battle. And what Peter's saying is: hey, you are warriors, you're in a spiritual warfare. Get your mind ready for action. Be sober means don't be crazy. Don't act like a drunk man or think like a drunk man.
In other words, what Peter's saying is: hey, Get your head screwed on straight if you're going to stand for Jesus in this culture. Won't you listen to me? We live in a stupid world with a lot of stupid thoughts, and that stupidity is infiltrating the body of Jesus Christ.
Okay, what do you mean by stupidity? Let me give you a couple examples here.
Now, before I do that, be nice to everybody, okay? Darren and I were in Asheville yesterday.
Somebody told us about a restaurant downtown Asheville. And so I went, and it was a great restaurant, and I was served by some very nice transgenders and lesbians. They were nice lesbians. They were nice transgenders. I was nice.
They were nice. We were all nice. I didn't yell at them. I didn't say, hey, you better get right. You're going to burn in hell.
Get right. Are you going to get left when Jesus comes back? I didn't do any of that. We were all nice. Everybody be nice.
But I'm going to give you an example of stupidity that has infiltrated the thought processes of America. Uh last week I was so tired. I wanted to go to sleep. And my wife said, Did you see this article?
So Christian Broadcasting Network, only a few news outlets reported on this. This article I'm so tired, and then I read it. I got so angry I couldn't sleep for the next two hours. This article talked about Mildred Poole Elementary School at Fort Bragg. Fort Brack, 70 miles from here.
This school hired a male teacher as a pre-kindergarten teacher. who says he not only identifies as a woman, But this pre-K teacher said, I also identify as a wolf. He would come to class wearing a fetish dog collar and an animal tail. He told the little children in his class that he turns into a wolf at night, and he's actually a woman who likes boys. And he told the kids to address him by his wolf names, including Lilith Death Howl and Savage Beast Queen.
Now, I guarantee you this won't make it to television.
Now, they're going to say this is not suitable for audiences. That's what the editors are going to say. You can teach this stuff at the school, and we can have little death howl as a teacher at school and that crappy books in their library, but I can't stand up on TV and say this is wrong. That's really interesting, isn't it?
Now I guarantee you Part of that process of bringing that man onto this thing. There were people who would say, I'm a Christian. I don't know what administrator or what principal. And if you were to ask them, how in your right mind can you have a man who identifies as a wolf teach the kids? They'd say something like this: lawyers.
A Christian that thinks soberly would have said Sue me if you want. But I'm not letting that man into that classroom and infiltrating the minds of those kids. And what really irritates me. is um Is I 100% no Christians? Who would try to justify this?
They would say something like this: Well, you know, at our home, we're trying to teach our children to respect all identities.
Some identities Don't deserve respect. And one of those is a man who says he's a wolf whose name is Lilith Death Howl. That identity is not worthy of respect.
Well, here's how Christians who don't think soberly or straight would try to justify this. Which has, in our home, we're trying to teach our kids to love everybody. See, some of y'all's problems is you think you're more loving than God. The most loving thing you could say to that man. Is you're like the rest of us.
We're all sinners. Your sin is manifesting different than my sin, but we are all sinners. You are caught up by the enemy. The enemy has messed with your mind. But I got good news for you.
God loved you so much that 2,000 years ago, He sent His Son in the world to take your perversion on the cross. He died in your place. He came back to life. And if you turn from your sins and turn to Jesus Christ, He can come in and He can change you and save you and forgive you. That's the most loving thing you could say to that man.
But we don't do that in the body of Christ. In the body of Christ, we've had the craziness of this world just kind of sink right into our own brains. Give you another one. New York Times this past route week released a story about how in the northwest part of the United States, Local governments are now taking steps to legally recognize polyamory. That means marriages comprised of more than two people.
Now, see, I told y'all this is going to happen a couple years ago, but see, Pastor Chad's a moron. He doesn't know what he's talking about. I told y'all a couple years ago, some of y'all who are telling me, well, you know, in America, I'm more of a libertarian, and so I'm not going to tell anybody what marriage should be. I think it's a man and a woman, but if you think it's two men, that's okay. If you think it's two women, that's okay.
I told y'all years ago. If we don't stick with the thousands-year-old definition of marriage. then who's going to stop us from saying three men and one woman can be a marriage? One man and four women can be a marriage. And y'all laughed at me, and I'm just telling you, that's where we're at right now.
So, you need to listen to me. There is. Insanity. infiltrating the minds of that culture out there. And Peter's saying, in these last days, y'all got to get your head screwed on straight and don't let them conform your thinking to the thinking of this world.
That's the first command. He said secondly If you've been forgiven, change. You're holy, you're righteous, you're chosen by God. Second command is this: rest your hope. on the return of Jesus.
Verse 13. Rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. I honor the pastors I grew up under, great men of God. They would cover a lot of things. I did not have pastors growing up.
that we talk about end times in the book of Revelation. Because all that stuff is, eh, that's a little bit what I have. Go through the New Testament. And see how many times we are told to think about the second coming of Jesus Christ. It's all over the place.
In fact, Paul goes to the town at Thessalonica. And in two or three weeks, he gets them saved. Put it into a church. and discipled. in two to three weeks.
And do you know that according to 2 Thessalonians, Paul gave his most in-depth teaching to the church at Thessalonica, and they were two-week-old baby Christians? Which tells me the second coming of Jesus Christ is not an ancillary thing. This is something significant that we need to. Peter says, That's your hope. You put your mind on the fact that this world isn't your home.
Jesus was coming back.
So look. Midterm elections are coming up. And you will hear me tell you. Vote biblically. I believe our nation needs Christians to stand up and vote biblically.
I'm going to tell you what you won't see me do anymore. Here's what you want me to do. In the old days, I should bring It's amazing how, when there's an election, all of a sudden people pop up across assembly. Hey, you know, I'm a member of your church, I'm running for office. Oh, I'm a member of your church.
I'm running off, I've never seen these people before in my life. And I would platform them. I bring them up. I'd point them out. Basically, I don't know them, but they said they're members of the cross assembly and y'all need to vote for them.
Do you know all of them except for one? Left cross assembly as soon as the election was over. It's hard not to feel used when you're a pastor and you see people using your platform to get elected. And when that happened, I said, I'm done.
Now, I again let's vote biblically, but I'm done playing the politics game. I'm not going to be used to get people elected. Because listen to me, my hope is not in Capitol Hill. It's in Calvary's Hill. Hey, revival doesn't begin in the White House, it begins in God's house.
This is the hope. And so Peter says Again, except for one. I did have one. The reason I said that is during the first service, I didn't say except for one, and I had that one text and say, hey man, I'm still at cross assembly.
So, okay, except for one, all right?
So If all these things are true, indicative, you're holy, you're set apart, you're forgiven, you have hope. Number one, gird up your minds, get your head screwed on straight. Number two, look forward to the return of Jesus. Third command is this: don't go back. To your old ways.
Okay.
Don't go back to the same junk Jesus saved you out of. Look at verse 14. As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the. Former Lush. Peterson.
If you're born again, don't go back to that stuff. In fact, Proverbs and 2 Peter. Here's the description Proverbs and 2 Peter gives of people going back to that stuff. They said, it's like a dog returning to his vomit. I saw that happen when I was a little kid.
It traumatized me. I seared that into my brain. I still can't remember this. I had a friend named Jeff, and Jeff had a little dachshund named Smokey. And I'll never forget Jeff and I are out playing one day and we see Smokey go Mm.
Hmm. And he just threw up all over the place. And you're like, oh man, that's... That's nasty It doesn't get any nastier than that. And Smokey's like, hold my beer.
And he, uh, I'm not sure. And Smokey ate his own vomit. And some of you are like Smokey. You are saved from your porn addiction. And now you're going back to your porn addiction.
You're going back to your vomit.
So, y'all got saved and on fire for Jesus, and you're slow going back to your vomit music that you listen to.
So you got saved and you're going back to your vomit movies.
Somebody got saved. And you're going back to your vomit relationships. And Peter said, if you're born again, you leave that stuff behind, you don't return to your former lusts.
So here are the commands. Number one Peter says, gird up your minds, get your head screwed on straight. Number two, you look forward to the second coming of Jesus. He's your hope, not government. Number three.
Don't go back to your old ways. Don't go back to your perversions. And then, fourth imperative, fourth command is this: be holy. Verse 15. But as he Who called you is holy.
You also be holy in all your conduct. And we got a book in our, it's one of the greatest resources I've seen on holiness. It's The Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges. You may want to check that book out in our resource center. Pursue holiness.
You're born again. You're saved. Pursuing holiness.
Well, people ask me this. When I talk about holiness, I get this question a lot. Pastor, can I still be a Christian and fill in the blank. Can I be a Christian and still Fill in the blank.
Now here's what they're asking me. If there's a line between right and wrong. When you ask me, Can I still be a Christian and whatever it is you're asking about? Here's what you're asking. Pastor, how close to that line can I get?
without falling over.
So some of y'all want to live right here at that line between right and wrong. The problem with living this close to the line is Satan can reach over and pull you over. I want to live my life. over here.
Well, he can't get to me. I don't want to get involved in questionable stuff. I want to pursue holiness. And, um, look. As I was preparing for this message, I looked at this verse and I felt really good about myself.
Pursuing holiness will I don't look at porn. I don't chase women. I don't even drink alcohol. I'm actually. I'm doing pretty good on this.
And the Holy Spirit, let me just do that for a little while. And in verse 15. He pointed to the word all. Be holy in All your conduct. And Spirit of God said, okay.
Mr. Holiness? What about that area of your life? Yeah. What about that area?
of your life. I'm gonna tell you something. You can go to a bar and get in a bar fight, and somebody can get a bottle of beer and smash it on the counter and slash you to pieces. That's a nasty, unhealthy, destructive cut. You can also go to the surgeon and he gets a scalpel that is clean.
And he can slice you. It might hurt, but it's to help you. And this past week, as I talked about holiness to myself and prayed about holiness, the Spirit of God took his scalpel and started pointing out little areas in my life that needed to be cut. And suddenly I didn't feel as holy. Yeah, some The closer I get to Jesus, the more I recognize my unworthiness and my unholiness.
Peter says, hey. Gird up your minds. Look forward to the return of Jesus. Don't go back to your vomit, to your old ways, and be holy.
Now here's the question. Why? Chad, if I'm already born again... I'm going to heaven. Why pursue holiness?
Why not go back to my perversion? I'm already saved. I'm going to heaven. And Peter gives you the answers right here. He says, Let me give you some reasons why you pursue holiness, some reasons why you don't go back to your vomit.
Number one, because you reflect God. Look at verse 16, 15 and 16. But as he who called you is holy, Okay, God called you Your father is holy.
So, you also be holy in all your conduct because it is written, be holy, God says. Why? Because I'm holy. You're a reflection of me, is what God is saying. There's an old preacher story.
I don't know if it's true or not, but I like using it. There's a story about. Alexander the Great. After one of the many battles he had won, it was a tough battle. And at the end of the battle, end of the day.
Alexander the Great. That great general is sitting in his tent. And his soldiers bring in a young boy, about 13 years old. And it threw him down in front of Alexander the Great, and the boys just on the ground. Alexander Grace, what's this?
He said, Well, sir, this is a young boy. Want to be part of your army. And today when the battle got hot and heavy. He he became a coward. He turned and he ran away.
And we called him. And according to your law, General, He needs to be put to death. Alexander the Great said to the little boy, Stand up. The little boy, trembling, couldn't even look at Alexander the Great, just stood up. Alexander the Great looked at him for a second and said, son, what's your name?
The little boy said, Sir, my name. is Alexander. And Alexander the Great looked indignant for a moment. He said, Well, son, I suggest you change your actions. Or you change your name.
Change your actions. Or change your name. Don't call yourself Alexander if you're going to run like a coward. And I wonder if the Lord is looking at some of us and say, you know, Everybody at work knows. You're the Christian.
But I'm seeing what you're doing in your life. And maybe you ought to change your actions or you ought to change your name because Christian means the one who belongs to Christ and you're bringing shame on me, Jesus is saying. Why live holy lives? Because we're a reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Be holy because I am holy.
Second motivation for living holy life is this fear. Verse 17. And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each man's work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here on planet Earth in Fear. What is Peter talking about? God's going to judge us, so live in fear.
It could be this. You know, all Christians, we're not going to be at the great white throne judgment. But we are going to be at the Bema seat judgment. It's going to be a special judgment when Christians stand before God and we'll get rewards based on how we've lived our life. He may be talking about that.
My gut tells me he's talking about something a little bit more general than that. Because he says God is going to judge, not just all Christians' work, each man's work. And then he says, conduct yourselves with fear.
Now, we're not saved through works. We are saved by realizing we are sinners. We deserve God's judgment. We turn from our sins. We turn to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We ask the Lord for salvation, and the Lord saves us. That's how you're safe. But I want you to listen to me. If you're truly saved. There's gonna be some works to back it up.
There's gonna be some fruit. Chaz, you're so judgmental. I'm not judgmental. I'm just a fruit inspector. And I'm going to tell you something.
Jesus said, every good tree produces good fruit. Every bad tree produces bad fruit. You tell me you're born again, but there's nothing in your life to back that up. There is no fruit. God has not changed your life.
You may not be born again. You come in here today and you said, Pastor, I'm sorry I'm 10 minutes late. Yeah, what happened? I was walking down the interstate and I got hit by an 18-wheeler. You got hit by an 18-wheeler?
Yeah. And I look at you, there's no scratches, there's no dirt. You, sir? Yeah. No.
If you get hit by an 18-wheeler, I can look at you and tell you got hit by an 18-wheeler. You tell me you have come into contact with a living, resurrected Son of God, and the Spirit of God has come into your life and changed your life, and you're a new creation, but there's nothing in your life, no fruit, there's no evidence, you may not be born again.
Well, Pastor, you're making people doubt their salvation.
Some of y'all need to doubt your salvation. This book right there says, test yourselves to see if you're in the faith. And so Peter may be saying, well, I live holy lives. Because if there's no holiness, if there's no fruit, you may not be born again. Third reason.
We live holy lives is this. You have been released. You've been liberated. You've been freed. Look at verse 18.
Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things like silver or gold from your aimless conduct received by the tradition from your fathers, but you've been redeemed with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish. And without spot. That word redeem means this. To buy out of bondage. Y'all looking at a former slave today.
I was a slave to sin. Slave to hell, slave to the devil. And I realized Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins. I came to the Lord Jesus Christ, and through the very blood of Jesus Christ, He bought me out of bondage. I am a free man right now.
And that goes for all of you who are truly born again.
Now here's what Peter's saying. You've been redeemed.
Okay.
Why would you go back into slavery again? That's why you live holy lives. That's why you don't return to your vomit. That's why. You get your head screwed on straight because you don't want to go back to that mess.
This happened a couple years ago. I don't know if you saw this, May 6, 2013. Police broke into a house in Cleveland. And they found three ladies. who've been kidnapped.
And held hostage and put, it was the basement, really, it was a dungeon in that house. They've been held hostage by this man. Ariel Castro for $10. Years. These ladies have been beaten.
They'd been tortured on a daily basis. One girl had to have facial reconstructive surgery because that man had beat her so bad for 10 years. One of the most touching parts of the story is when the police finally rescued them, one lady just clung to him and said, You have saved me. You have saved me. You have saved me.
And they were free.
Now, what would you think? If one of those ladies, after being liberated from 10 years of bondage, said, You know, I don't like the free world so much. I think I'll go back to that house and crawl back into that dungeon and ask the guy to beat me some more. You'd say she's lost her mind. Hey, what if when the police have you ever heard of the Stockholm syndrome?
It's where, like, you're kidnapped and you begin to identify with your captor. What if, when the police broke in, she's like, those police, they're bad. Get me away from those police. And she says to the captor, oh, you're such a great guy. Oh, you're so wonderful.
You say, she's crazy. Place good, capture bad. But a church like this When a man like me stands up and preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ, Y'all get the Stockholm syndrome, you said, what's his problem? What my problem is, is I'm looking at people who are held bondage by the enemy, and I'm the policeman. I'm trying to show you how you can be liberated through the Lord Jesus Christ.
I'm not the bad guy. Satan, who has you in bondage, he's the bad guy. I want to say to some of y'all, y'all don't have to live like this. This is not how you're designed to live. Jesus wants to liberate you.
And once he's liberated you, don't go back into the dungeon again. Don't go back into sin again. Th this is an extreme example, but Several years ago, there's a homeless guy. That we kind of rescued off the street. He was a strong guy on drugs.
He had lost his family, lost his business, lost everything. We led him to the Lord, we baptized him, we discipled him, and we contacted his wife. And so man, this guy's changed. Shit, I've heard that before. I said, no, no.
He's gotten saved. He's a changed man. And she came up to Raleigh, she's beautiful. beautiful life. And she brought her two little boys, like 11, 12-year-old boys with her.
A good looking voice. Winsome. Just good kids. And um And then I hadn't seen the guy for a while. And I asked Pastor Danny, I said, Danny, where is this guy?
He said, Jan? He's going back to drugs. And he's abandoned his family again.
So, Danny and I went to visit this guy. I'll never forget this. And we pull into his house. It's filthy. It just stinks.
It's squalid. It's so nasty. And there he is. And you can tell by looking at him, he's back on drugs again. And I said, I said, what are you doing?
I said, Jesus forgave you. Gave you a second chance and a new beginning. You're no longer walking with Jesus. What what happened? You know what he said?
He said, I got tired of walking with Jesus. I just want my freedom. You just lost your wife, you just lost your kids, you're living in squalor, you're having to watch your back 24/7 because you might get shot in the back by a drug dealer, and you're telling me you're free? You're not free. You're in prison.
And I might be an extreme example. But some of y'all who think it's so hard following Jesus Christ, you're going to serve somebody. Either Satan or Jesus. And I'm telling you, there's nothing like serving the Lord Jesus Christ.
So, um I don't know, church. All week I just had this unsettled feeling. about this sermon. And I finally said, Lord, why do I, was there something... I'm starting to be led by God's peace.
Colossians 3.15. If I feel this peace, I know we're heading in the right direction. If there's this unsettled feeling and there's not peace, Spirit of God said, time out, there's something wrong. And I felt that this week. Here's a Read this and Prayed over this.
Talk about holiness and purity. The Spirit of God spoke to me. And I'm going to tell you this: I love this church. This is the healthiest church I've ever seen, ever heard. It's an incredible church.
But the Spirit of God spoke to me and said, Y'all beginning to lose the fear of God in this place. Jade, you're getting a little bit casual in my presence. You forgot about holiness. That book right there says, without holiness, no man will see the Lord. That book right there says, our God is a consuming fire.
And it broke me this past week.
So, I'm going to tell you what we're going to talk about next week.
So, you will know not to come if you don't want to come, okay?
Next week. We, as a congregation, are going to return to a holy fear of Almighty God in this place. We gonna repent. For being a little bit lax and loose. And we're going to cry out for God's forgiveness.
And it's my prayer that the fear of God will descend upon this place next week.
So enjoy your snacks and drinks and food in here because after this week no more food in this place This is going to be a sanctuary set apart for God. This is going to be set apart for just holiness and seeking God's face. That's my prayer for this week.
Alright, good.
Okay.
That's the sermon's over. It's a great sermon thing.
Okay, good. The sermon's over. Let me shift gears right here. We're going to close with this, okay? Hey, this was it.
Okay.
Look, it's a crazy world. You got to be honest. Last week, watching the state of the union. I realized as a nation, We have never been more divided than we are right now.
Well, Tranda, what about the Civil War? During the Civil War, the North and the South still had the same worldview. We don't even have the same worldview anymore. This is a divided nation. We got men identifying as wolves wearing dog collars teaching our kids.
This is a crazy world. We have a blow-up in the Middle East that could have prophetic significance. We got all kinds of crazy stuff going on. It's been a crazy week, and I'm afraid it might get a little bit crazier. But in the book of Revelation John, who wrote the book of Revelation.
This will help you understand the outline of the book of Revelation. John will show you all the chaotic stuff going on on planet Earth during the seven years of tribulation. How we have seas turning into blood, asteroids hitting planet Earth, the Antichrist doing his thing, and then John will. Take you into heavens. And while all this is going on on planet Earth, he'll say, But I saw the Lamb seated on the throne.
And then John will go out of planet Earth. Oh, hell's breaking loose. Everything's falling apart. And then John will take you back into heaven. And once again, you see the Lamb seated on the throne.
I think John is trying to tell us something. No matter how crazy it gets here on planet Earth, never forget, the Lamb is still seated upon the throne. And in John chapter 5, He said, I heard them say with a loud voice, worthy is the lamb that was slain. To receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. And every creature that was in heaven and on earth and under the earth said, Blessing, honor, glory, and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb forever and ever.
He said, And the four beasts said, Amen. And the 24 elders fell down and worshiped him. Who lives? Forever, the Lamb is still on the throne, church. Standard me right now.
This world may be falling apart. Your world may be falling apart. But that doesn't change the fact. That the lamb Who was slain? From the foundation of the earth.
He's in control. And he's worthy of all of our praises. in this crazy world. Can you lift up your hands right now? And let's just praise the lamb that was slain.
Praise him right now. Uh And hallelujah for the Lord God Almighty reigns for the Lord God Almighty reigns yes, he does hallelujah Holy Holy are your Lord God Worthy as a Lamb, worthy as a Lamb. You are holy, host, oh holy God. Are you Lord God? Oh my Lamb, worthy as a Lamb.
You are only God, almighty worthy as a Lamb, worthy as a Lamb. Oh, you are you. Lord God on my worthy is the less and worthy worthy is the land worthy worthy is the best worthy is the land worthy worthy is the land worthy worthy is the land worthy is the lamb if he's on the throne and he is in control do not worry Do not be afraid. not pay Everything is going according to plan. And this might be the week.
Hey, there's no other prophetic thing that has to take place. Jesus can come back today. How many of y'all are ready for the Lamb of God to come back and take his bride home to be with him? If you believe he's in control. If you believe he's still on the throne, then receive this blessing right now.
Kizak! They are mods. Alta rope the old hit. Which is Hebrew for church. Be bold.
Be strong. Ain't y'all be afraid? Y'all don't be terrified of anything this week. Why? Because the Lord your God is going to be with you everywhere you go.
In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, we pray. Amen and amen. God bless you, beloved. Let's go change this world for Jesus Christ. Yeah.
