Welcome to Truth Talk Live.

All right. Let's talk. A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you why. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live Host.

I'm back. It's the Russian nightmare. Well, what's the Russian nightmare now?

The devil's nightmare. Host of It's Time to Man Up Radio Show Podcast and Q&A with Kolov, Nikita Kolov. And I hope you're doing well today. And today is a call to intercession. What is the topic? I'm choosing a topic. Look, I'm choosing a topic I normally wouldn't broach, but just feel the urgency in my heart and in my spirit, the urgency of the moment for all of us to pray, pray, pray.

A call to intercession. And I'm going to dive deeper into this more specifically. The title of my show today is Policy or Personality.

What are you voting for? And you know, if you recall or are familiar with me hosting these shows, I also like to have some fun. And of course, you know, this is a very sensitive topic, right? I get that. I understand that.

So let me just start with a trivia question before we really dive into this. Lots of topics we potentially could discuss today and would love to even to get some of your feedback. So this is, you can call in today at 866-348-7884. That's 86634 Truth and share some of your thoughts and some of your input or even a prayer request that you might have or an answer to my trivia question.

I think this first one is pretty simple. So far, every show I've hosted, I've been able to give at least one autograph eight by 10 away from my prior profession, that of professional wrestling, former world champion, eight time world champion. And so here we go.

All right, you ready? Here we go. Here's my first trivia question. In the parable of the vineyard workers, what was the payment agreement? In the parable of the vineyard workers, what was the payment agreement? Those who worked longer got paid more. Those who worked less got paid more. They all got the same pay or no one got paid. So call in 866-348-7884, 86634 Truth, even if you're not a wrestling fan or as I come to learn moving to the south here from Siberia, a wrestling fan.

You may not even be a wrestling fan, but you know somebody who is, and I could bless you today with a personally autographed eight by 10 photo if you know the answer. The parable of the vineyard workers, what was the payment agreement? Give me a phone call and let's see if you have an answer. Now there's lots of topics and things we need to pray about in 26 days. If I did my math right, and again, I'm just still learning English and still learning how to count in English. In 26 days, the future of America will be decided. And this just, in my view, we are at a tipping point or a crossroads, if you will. We're at a tipping point or a crossroads.

We're going to dive deeper into this. Looks like I may have Shawn down in Jacksonville, Florida, may have an answer to the question. Let's pull Shawna, excuse me, Shawna, down in Jacksonville, Florida. Shawna, are you there? Yes, how are you?

Hey, I'm wonderful Shawna. Hey, before we get in the answer to the question, are you okay? How are things there in Jacksonville for you guys with the hurricane?

Yeah, it wasn't as bad as at least I thought. Not a lot of damage, so we're all good. Wonderful. Well, that's great news. Well, speaking of prayer, we've been praying for all of you Floridians. And of course, we're up here in the Carolinas and Western North Carolina got absolutely destroyed, but lots of patriots here in Western North Carolina and people from all over the country have come in to help out.

It's been amazing to see all the patriots here. So that's great. Well, Shawna, you're in Jacksonville, Florida, and appreciate you listening to True Talk live. Thanks. Thanks for having me. Well, and so you have an answer to the question, Shawna?

I do. They all got paid equally. They did. That's right.

Matthew 20, the story, the parables in Matthew chapter 20, verses 1 through 15. And some people were not happy about that. Yeah. Some were like, yo, hey, hang on a minute here.

We're working all day and I got the same pay as that person worked an hour. So it's quite a story, quite a test of really of humility. Shawna, what's your take on that? What do you take away from that parable for yourself?

Anything? Oh, gosh. I mean, I guess you should— Put you on the spot. I know.

I put you on the spot. Yeah. I hadn't even pretty thought of that. I guess just be happy with what you have, whether you have a lot or a little or you work a lot. I'm not sure if that's the truth that Jesus was trying to portray, but what do you think?

Yeah, no. And that's a good point. I mean, be content. And Paul said, right, I've learned to be content with whether I have much or I have little. And really what you agree to, right?

It's about being a person of your word. Like, hey, if I agree to work all day for X amount of dollars, and then that owner decides to hire this person for an hour and pay him the same amount, why should I get angry about that? I mean, this is what I agree to. I agree to work all day for that amount of money, right? Absolutely. Well, I appreciate it.

Now, Shauna, out of curiosity, are you a wrestling fan or are you just called in with the answer? Well, I'll be honest. I really just called in for the answer, but I have three boys who would love to have an autograph. All right. We'll get it to them. Stay tight. Let's get your address and we'll get that mailed out to you, okay? Thanks so much.

All right. Have a blessed day, Shauna. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live.

Your host, the devil's nightmare, Nikita Kolov. Congratulations to Shauna down in Jacksonville, Florida. Three boys down there. We're going to get her and get out an eight by 10 autograph photo for those three boys. And man, the trivia questions today, I might end up giving a second one away because the second question is really pretty easy as well. All right.

Let me throw it out there, though. The 13th chapter of what book is commonly known as the love chapter? Is it Colossians, Ephesians, 1st Corinthians or 2nd Corinthians, 866, 3487, 884, 86634 truth, giving away autographed, personally autographed eight by 10 photos from my old professional wrestling days. And our topic today, you know, pray, pray, pray, a call to intercession. As I was mentioning in the first segment that our nation, I believe in my view, that our nation in my lifetime is at a real tipping point, a real crossroads in what direction it is going to take come November 5th. And, you know, there's a lot of different topics and feel free to call in and discuss any one of these topics that really is on the ballot. Everything from religious freedom to immigration and border to economy, family, and marriage, the sanctity of life, Israel, national security, parental rights, election integrity.

Now there's no way we'll get to all of those topics today. I would encourage you to go to PrayTheVote2024.org to get more familiar with how you can pray and even post your own prayer requests so that others around the nation can be praying for you and your specific needs. There are a lot of needs out there, right, with all these hurricanes and what happened in western North Carolina and east Tennessee and parts of South Carolina and some miraculous stories, some incredible stories are coming forth as well amidst all of the tragedy. There's also some triumph in the hand of God. And what's interesting is every one of these topics I was just sharing with you, I mean, there's scriptures that I have in referencing each and every one of these topics, everything from religious freedom to immigration and border, economy, family, and marriage, the sanctity of life, Israel, national security, parental rights, election integrity.

These are all topics. Write those down because you should be, or go to PrayTheVote2024.org so you can familiarize yourself with some of these topics and scripture references and how to be praying and what to be praying. Based on what I have seen and trying to pay attention, I'm trying to be like, the Bible says be like a man of Ishkar and understand the times in which you're living. And I think it's important to do that. And to the best of my ability, I am trying to take a real biblical approach to this upcoming election when it comes to my voting. And so, you know, in my view, I'm going to vote policy over personality. I mean, there's a lot to say on either side about personalities. There's a lot that's been said. There's a lot more that will be said about the different personalities on either side.

But if you're able to set for, just to the best of your ability, set personality aside just for a moment and focus in on policy, on policy, like for myself. And again, this is just me, but if I consider the economy, for example, because that seems to be one of the top or hottest issues, the economy, right? I think it's no secret, gas costs more now than it did four years ago. The price of groceries, you know, every time I walk into a grocery store, it costs me more now than it did four years ago.

You know, which blew my mind. I didn't realize the cost of insurance, like car insurance. One of my friends looked at me one day and said, how come my car insurance keeps going up? It's like, you know, a hundred dollars more now than it was last year or whatever.

And I'm like, really? Car insurance? I mean, I didn't even pay attention.

Maybe I should have, but I didn't. How about mortgage rates? How about mortgages?

How about rent? I mean, just go right down the list. Because for many people, economy seems to be the number one topic of discussion. And probably close, not too far behind that, it seems like is immigration and border, security, right?

People not feeling safe. And of course, you know, again, if you go to, like on the economy, for example, right down Proverbs 12, 24 and Psalm 128, two. Like just go look those scriptures up. I could quote them to you, but I'm going to give you a little homework, put you to work, not do everything for you, but just go look up just those two scriptures.

That's just the tip of the iceberg, right? Proverbs 12, 24, Psalms 128, two, and see how the Bible relates to every one of these topics. Because it does. I mean, God thought of everything, right?

He didn't leave anything out. And so I want to encourage you to do that. Hey, we're also doing a Bible trivia as well. The 13th chapter of what book is commonly known as the love chapter?

Is it Colossians, Ephesians, First Corinthians or Second Corinthians? Call 866-348-7884. That's 86634 Truth.

Call in if you've got an answer to the trivia question and we'll get an autograph, 8x10, sent out to you. And or if you have a comment, if you have a comment on some of these topics, the economy, immigration and border, religious freedom, family and marriage, you know, that brings up religious freedom for example. Just go to the book of John, chapter 8, verse 36, just give you some references here. Immigration and border, go to Romans, chapter 13, and just read Romans 1-3. Family and marriage, Hebrews, chapter 13, verse 18. Genesis, chapter 1, verse 27. And those are just a few scriptures that will address these different topics here. And it looks like we might have, might have a winner, might have a winner to our question here or someone that wants to discuss.

We may have to wait until we come back from the break to get an answer here or get ready to go to a break. So before we do that, how about the sanctity of life? Psalm 139, verse 13-15. True Talk Live, your host Nikita Koloff. Don't go anywhere, stay safe on the road to truth talk live.

You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back, welcome back to Truth Talk Live, Nikita Koloff. It looks like we have a call for Tonya from just down the road, Greensboro, North Carolina. Tonya, are you there? Yes, hello. Hey Tonya, thank you for being a listener to Truth Talk Live. And you have an answer to our trivia question?

Well, I think I do. I think it's 1 Corinthians 13. 1 Corinthians, you are the winner winner, Tonya. 1 Corinthians 13, 1 through 13 actually. And yeah, and it kind of brings it home, doesn't it, for how we're supposed to, as a Jesus lover and a Christ follower, how we're supposed to love others, right? Yes, unconditionally.

Unconditionally and a heart full of compassion. Now you're in Greensboro, Tonya. That brings back a lot of memories for me personally. I don't know how familiar you are.

The Greensboro Coliseum, you familiar with that at all? Very, and my brother used to watch you. I even watched you when I was little.

Oh, come on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you were a favorite. That's amazing. Well, that is awesome. A lot of incredible memories. In fact, I was there earlier this year when one of my wrestling buddies, remember the wrestler Sting? Yeah. Yeah, so he had a retirement match there in Greensboro this past March, and so I was able to be there for that retirement match. And just being in that building again, Tonya, brought back so many memories. I bet it did.

It did. And you said it was your brother that was a big fan too? Oh, yeah. One of them has passed, but my middle brother, oh my goodness, he loves y'all.

He still watches it pretty much. Well, that's amazing. Well, don't go anywhere. We're going to get your address and we'll get this mailed out to you and really do appreciate you being a listener of True Talk Live, Tonya. Thank you.

Oh, thank you. Alright, you hang tight and we'll get that address, okay? Alright, so Tonya over in Greensboro, North Carolina, her and her brothers, big time wrestling fans, and 1 Corinthians chapter 13. Yeah, we're on a roll here. We're on a roll.

Shawna down in Jacksonville, Florida, Tonya in Greensboro. Hey, our topic today is, of course, the election coming up November 5th. And as I mentioned, not normally a subject that I would broach or a topic that I would broach, but in my heart of hearts, I just feel this sense of urgency to really challenge believers out there, Christ followers, those who are just born again, blood washed by the blood of Jesus, that we have an obligation, even a mandate, if you will, biblically speaking, to pray, pray, pray, to intercede for our nation as we are at a tipping point at a crossroads in the direction our nation is going to go.

And there's some very, you know, major issues on the line, right? I mean, our religious freedoms as Christ followers, you know, and the ability to be able to speak freely, to speak openly, religious freedom, to speak openly to, you know, I travel around the world and right now, you know, I try to pay attention again like a man of Iskard to what's going on around the world as well as right here in America and even just north of the border, how some pastors have been imprisoned, have thrown in jail for preaching the truth of God's word. And even here in America, you know, the attack on the Catholic Church and how they have been kind of scoped out and people who've been arrested, some of my own friends who've been arrested for praying outside of Planned Parenthood and I'm telling you, we're in a wake-up moment, I believe.

These next 26 days are critical to intercede and pray, pray, pray for our nation. And get into the Word, get into your Bible and read your Bible, what your Bible has to say about some of these different topics, right? Election integrity, write down 2 Corinthians 8, chapter 8, verse 21. Write it down, go read it. Go read it. How about national security? What does Psalms 144, verse 1 have to say regarding...how about Israel? You think there's a mandate?

How about Psalms 122, verses 6 through 9? And I want to encourage you too, go to PrayTheVote, PrayTheVote2024.org and on that website, you're going to find that your vote matters. If you're of voting age, your vote matters, that you need to care about the issues at hand and that you need to...that every vote, how about every vote makes a difference, like for real. You go to that website, you're going to get updated news and reminders and different voting dates. Some states, North Carolina, mail out ballots, I believe have gone out, I think the 17th October, early voting starts. So depending on what state you live in, Truth Radio goes across the nation, you need to know what those voting dates are, when early voting starts, when mail-in ballots have been sent out, you're going to get some up-to-date information on how you can pray, who you can pray for.

You can go on that website, PrayTheVote2024.org and post a prayer request and know that others across the nation are going to be praying for you. So when you think about some of these different topics, like the economy, like immigration and border, again, it appears as though those are two of the most hottest topics right here in America. I think the economy affects everybody, no matter what side you're on or if you're somewhere in the middle.

I'm pretty confident that what you're paying at the grocery store will affect you. And I'm guessing, you know, your safety, I'm guessing, is affected when it comes to immigration and when it comes to the border. And again, as I've traveled the nations to date, I've traveled to 36 different countries and I've needed a passport to get in every one of those. And many of those nations I've gone, I've had to pass through borders. I've had to pass through checkpoints just to get into that nation and in certain nations. And when it comes to religious freedom, listen, I assure you, there are some countries I personally have been in that do not have the religious freedoms that we have.

The ability to stand on a street corner and preach the gospel, to open a Bible, to even be in possession of a Bible. And there are some nations out there that that is outlawed. And there's certain things. I think we just get lulled into this sense of security in the past.

And I don't want it to be too little too late by the time that enough Americans wake up and exercise their right to vote, that they're like, oh my gosh, what happened? Well, I guess you weren't paying attention or you weren't listening to the conversations or whatnot, right? Family and marriage. I mean, is there an attack on family and marriage? Absolutely.

How about manhood and masculinity? Lex Luger and I, one of my wrestling buddies, every spring and every fall. In fact, we've got one coming up October 20th. Pray for our camp. We bring in small groups of men, 15, 20, 25 men.

We have an incredible staff down in Royston, Georgia. And we sow into men. We take a handful of days and we empower men, send them back home, hopefully to be better equipped, to be godly men, godly husbands, godly fathers, godly grandfathers.

Why? Because go back to Genesis chapter one and what did God establish? He established family. He established marriage. And from that marriage, given the instructions to be fruitful and multiply, and lo and behold, fast forward all these years later and there's an all-affront, I believe, an attack on family and on marriage, even how it's defined.

And the Bible's pretty clear on how God views marriage and how God views family. Go back to Genesis chapter one, all the way back to the beginning. And Israel, standing with Israel, go back three or four thousand years when he promised it to Abraham and gave him what the borders would be. And you will be surprised when you come to find out it's his land. It's his land. It's God's land.

It's deeded to him. And one day Jesus will set up his headquarters there in Jerusalem. Don't believe me? Go read your Bible. All right, when we come back, maybe one more trivia question and a few more thoughts and comments on November 5th. Truth Talk Live! You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to our final segment, Truth Talk Live, and your host, Nikita Kolov, also host of It's Time to Man Up in Q&A with Kolov. Go check out those shows and podcasts on Truth Radio Network, as well as many, many others.

Download the Truth app if you've yet to do that. One more trivia question in our final segment. We'll see. I think this is another easy one.

We've given out two 8x10s, autographed photos already. Proverbs 2, 4 says, seek her as silver and search for her as hidden treasure. What are we being told to hunt for here in 2nd Proverbs? Hope, love, faith, or wisdom. Hope, love, faith, or wisdom.

Seek for her as silver, as hidden treasure. Call 866-348-7884. We just got a few minutes left today.

866-348-7884. That's three, four, truth. And you know we're talking about our upcoming elections November 5th as well. I was just, I just went over to Psalms 122. I wanted to see what it had to say regarding Israel, regarding Jerusalem.

And how about this? Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May they prosper who love you. May peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.

Okay, so let's just embrace that for just a moment here. Peace and prosperity. Boy, those sound like two pretty good things I'd love to have within my, the walls of my home. And may they prosper who love you. So if you love Israel, if you love Jerusalem, it says pray for the peace of Jerusalem. And in return if you'll do that, if you'll stand with Israel, you'll have love within, peace and prosperity within your home, within your walls.

And it says may they prosper who loves you. So prosperity and peace, two pretty good benefactors, two pretty good benefits of standing with Israel and Jerusalem. Many of the topics that certainly could have been discussed today, national security, parental rights, election integrity, the sanctity of life, religious freedom, immigration and border, economy, family and marriage. So many things are critical. Things are on the line this November and I really, can I, can I just challenge you to really exercise your God-given rights? Can I challenge you to not sit on the sidelines and just go, ah, I don't like either personality. Lazy over personality. Dig into policy. Do a little bit of homework here. Don't be lazy. Do your research.

Do some homework. Your vote matters. Every vote matters more, I believe, in my lifetime than ever before in my lifetime. You can go to PrayTheVote2024.org and you can, you can confirm your voter registration. You can get voter guides on that website. You can even volunteer, be an election worker, volunteer.

There's a lot that you can do. At very least, pray, pray, pray, intercede for our nation. We need it. We need it. We need you. We need every Christ follower, every believer, every listener of Truth Talk Live to exercise their right and encourage others.

Encourage others. Let's see if we can't stand, protect our First Amendment, our Second Amendment. Look, I'm not a big political guy.

I'm really not. And I knew I was taking a risk even broaching this subject, this topic today. But in my heart of hearts, I just believe our nation is on the cusp, on the edge, at a tipping point, at a crossroads to what's going to happen for our future.

And so just encourage people, hey, can I give out another eight by 10 as well? Seek her as silver and search for her as hidden treasure. What are we being told to hunt for here in Proverbs chapter two?

Hope, love, faith, or wisdom. You can call 866-348-7884 if you have an answer to the question. Or if you have a last minute thought or comment on our topic today, personality or policy. I stand on policy over personalities on either side.

I'm just setting that aside and just digging into the policies. These are some, for me, and look, I'm not only a dad, I'm a granddad. In fact, I got grandchild number 13 and looks like number 14 coming next year. And so for the sake of my grandchildren, this has become more important in my lifetime than ever, ever, ever before. And so I'm just stepping out and encouraging and challenging every Christ follower out there. You know, a sad commentary, I've seen statistics that says many of evangelicals, many Christ followers just sit on the sidelines, sit on their hands and don't vote. And just go, ah, it doesn't, it's not going to affect me. I'm just, I'm just going to go on. No, no, no, no, no. Exercise your vote and encourage your family and friends and others to do the same thing. Maybe they've never voted before and this would be the first time ever, or it's been a long time since they voted. I'm just trying my best today to place a sense of urgency on this upcoming election.

And so consider those apologies, go to that website. Ah, we got Scott over in Missouri. I think he's got an answer to the question. Scott, how are you today? Doing good, doing good. Better than I deserve.

Better than you deserve. What part of Missouri are you in, Scott? I'm in Alton, Missouri. All right.

I'm going to be out in Missouri next year in May doing an autograph signing in St. Louis. So looking forward to coming that way. So you got an answer to my question?

Yes, I do. It's wisdom. Wisdom, that is right. Proverbs 2, verse 4. Wisdom, and be sure don't go anywhere. Scott, we'll get your mailing address. Yeah, I had something else to comment on your, the first Corinthians chapter 13, the last chapter.

Yeah, give us a quick comment. You know, I was upset with my son one day and that was one of the scriptures I was reading the day. And the Holy Spirit says, hey, this isn't just about man and wife relationship, because, you know, they use it for weddings a lot.

He says, it's how you treat your son, your parents, your, your siblings, and the people that you come in contact with. More than just, just that, you know, it's the craziest, this is love, you know, and I, I read different versions of the Bible. I started with the NIV and I read the New King James Version. Yeah, we can learn from all of them. I'm reading the ESV, I'm reading the ESV now, but also another thing on the, the scripture of the first Corinthians 13, that, you know, how they have the chapter breaks.

Well, it was highlighted, I think it was David Jeremiah heard or somebody, maybe even Charles Stanley, but if you read 14.1, it says, now go pursue love, you know. That's good. It's kind of deep.

No, it is. I'll share that with you. Yeah, no, I appreciate that, Scott.

You, you can dive pretty deep into that for sure, and you are 100% correct. You know, you start talking about your heart being filled with, with unconditional love. Yeah, that's certainly for you, certainly for your spouse, but also for children and grandchildren and everybody else. So, Scott, don't go anywhere. Let's get your mailing address and we'll, we'll, we'll get an 8 by 10 out to you. Okay, sir? All righty. All right. Thank you, sir.

I'm a wrestling fan. Oh, well, thank you. Well, thank you. I appreciate it. I got to tell you, I'm sorry.

I know you're limited time, but I got to tell you one more story. Yeah. My, my wife's grandpa used to watch wrestling and he did not like stone cold, Steve Austin. He knows that he was, he was in his eighties and he only had like four teeth and he was tugging on one of his teeth and he pulled it out watching stone cold. I just thought that was so funny. I think that's, yeah. I don't think I've ever heard that one before.

It's because somebody pulled their teeth out watching. Oh my gosh. Thank you, Steve Austin. Well, Scott, thanks for calling.

Thanks for listening to Truth Talk Live too. All right. Thank you, sir.

Hold on. We'll get your address there. Well, thank you, Scott. Missouri and Shawna down in Jacksonville, Florida.

Tanya over in Greensboro, North Carolina. Three winners today. Wow. That's amazing.

Three winners today. Well, in our last minute or two together here, listen, can I, again, I can't emphasize enough. You need to pray, pray, pray, and intercede. And it's policy over personality to the best of your ability. Set personalities aside and go dig into the policies and see what best fits and end, and as you're praying, how the Lord leads you through these Bible references I gave you today, how you can use biblical reference into how you vote and for who you vote, who you're voting for. And so whether it's election integrity, parental rights, national security, Israel, sanctity of life, family and marriage, economy, immigration and border, religious freedom, go to PrayTheVote2024.org. Hey, be sure to check out It's Time to Man Up with Nikita Koloff, yours truly, and Q&A with Koloff. Until next time, just go out and live a God-filled and have a God-blessed day. Truth Talk Live.
