Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk. A daily program powered by the Truth Network.
This is kind of a great thing and I'll tell you why. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind.
And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. What? I mean what? What is meekness? You know, as Jesus said in Matthew 5-5, right? He said, blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. So it begs the question, you know, and obviously I want to hear it the earth.
I'm sure you do too. Like, what is that? What is meekness? How do you get it?
Is meekness weakness? I don't know if you've thought about that. This is a live show and we need your call. Believe me, we need your call.
866-344. We've got lines open and we need to know from your standpoint. You know, there's lots and lots and lots of sermons preached on this. Interestingly, I had a chance to preach this at our church, at West Ashboro Baptist Church in Ashboro last week. But I would love to know what you think.
I really, really would. Like, what does that word mean? And so it's interesting.
I think it's extremely interesting that the word is often translated, both in Greek, whether you're looking at it in Greek or Hebrew, as gentleness. And so, you know, that has all sorts of implications on it as well. But we got Bucksman calling in. So what about you? I need your call.
866-348-7884. What? What is meekness, Bucksman?
What is it? Robbie, this is amazing. And you being the Christian car guy, you're going to love this story of how your brother, Bucksman, on his way with another brother of ours to see another brother named Nikita Koloff.
Ever heard of that guy? On the bus mobile, my car guy friend said, Not today, Bucksman. We made it 30 minutes to the church where he was going to speak at.
And Robbie, it took us two and a half hours to get there from Dayton, Ohio. So when I got the car repair bill, I should have called my brother Robbie Gilmore, but I didn't have you on speed dial yet. I got the bill to fix the bus mobile, at which point my jaw dropped. And I said to everybody in the repair shop, Robbie, watch this, you guys. I want to show you meekness.
That is power under restraint. Because the car repair bill, brother Robbie, was a little bit more than I was expecting, sir. I'm guessing it was a lot more than you expected. So what what what what did they have to repair? Well, we thought it was just a radiator hose, brother, but turns find out because I love these guys where I take my cards to.
They're very thorough. And they said, sir, it's not just a heater hose. You've got a cracked radiator, your upper and lower ball joints are bad. And you're looking at a twenty two hundred and eighty one dollar bill.
Oh, my soul. What kind of like do you drive a Porsche or what do you do? What is the bus mobile twenty two hundred dollars for a radiator? Like, man, you must be it must be really a sweet ride. Right. Well, no, it's it's it's it's a twenty fifteen Chevrolet Sonic and it's got the turbo on it, Robbie.
So, you know, that means a little bit more when it comes up. Yeah, they had to tear the whole thing apart. I mean, when the head mechanic said, wow, you're looking at five hours on labor alone.
And I was like, oh, so that must be a supersonic. Well, I got to say they were Jesus and my busmobile was was was a dead Lazarus for about three days and then they resurrected it. So I'm driving it now talking to you. So did you get to see the key to the critical issues? I did not.
I did not. And I emailed him through his website, Robbie. And I said, hey, we made it 30 minutes and we had to basically turn around and go back and tow the car back because I didn't know what all was wrong with it.
And so but long story short, my brother, our father provided the money and it it's fixed now. I give all glory to God. And there was this great experience where the tow truck driver, Mark, and I was in the passenger seat. And this young man named Travis blessing a man, his his faith was renewed.
And he goes, Boston, I got to say he's a fickle guy to Robbie. And he gives me this hug and he goes, Boston, I got to tell you, I had to miss church to make this two and a half hour drive to drop you in your car off to the repair shop. But because of you, I got a sermon.
Oh, wow. How was how was that? How was it because of me? Well, it's because of me.
He said he said because of you, Boston, I got I got. Oh, oh, oh, oh, OK. Not me. Meaning me. It meant because of you. So from your perspective, to get back to the question at hand.
Yeah. Make this is strength under control. And where where did you come up with that definition?
Well, once again, I like how you do the Greek and the Hebrew. I've been taught that for a while, even when I was serving in churches, that it's power under spring. It's power under under restraint. And I don't disagree with you, by the way. I think it's a lot of things. You know, I heard actually in a lecture the other day, and I would agree with them that every single letter, every single verse, every single word in scripture has at least at least 70 different facets.
In other words, if you hold that diamond up to the light, you can see a little bit of different angle to this and a little bit of different angle to that. And so, no doubt, I couldn't agree with you more that it's strength under control. But there's lots of facets where we're going to talk about.
You can stay with us, I'll bet. But we need somebody else to call. 866-348-7884. 866-344-TRUTH. What is meekness?
Is it weakness? Where do you get it? How do you come by the stuff? We'll be back. We want your answers.
866-348-7884. What is meekness today on Truth Talk Live? What is meekness?
Is it weakness? I hope not. We would love to know what your thoughts are. 866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share. 866-348-7884. We got Bucksmen in Ohio, and now we got Bill is in North Carolina. And so, Bill, I'm curious on your thoughts. What is meekness to you? Good afternoon, sir.
How are you? I am excited. I'm excited you called in and to hear what your thoughts are. Well, I like what the gentleman said about power under control. I mean, again, it's a kindness. It's a patience. It's a winsomeness. You know, everything that Christ kind of desired. I think of 1 Corinthians 13, you know, love is patient, love is kind.
It doesn't hold grudges. So, yeah, you get to be overly wordy. It's just, it's a type of gentleness, as you said, first out of the gate, and patience that's displayed only because of the Holy Spirit of God. Because, you know, my natural inclination is not to possess or to behave that way, but if I want to be obedient to Christ, man, God has been so good. Yeah, I know the feeling. He saved a wretch like me, and he's been patient with me.
And so, therefore, I got to remember that, to try to behave in such a way that attracts people to him. Yeah, you're exactly right. Amen. I'm sorry. No, I'm trying to get my, there you go. That sounds more like me. He just had my volume up, so I was blasting in my own ears. But, Bill, and Busman, you're still there with me, too? I am. Okay, guys, I wanted to share this with you.
Give me your thoughts. So, in Hebrew, the word, and I really like this word, I've studied it for years and years. It's called anav, is how you would pronounce it in Hebrew. And if you look at it closely, you know, there's three letters involved. And those three letters, and the beautiful thing about Hebrew, as you may know, is it's a picture language. And so, by looking at the pictures and the words, you can, each letter kind of gives you a hint into the inner meaning of the word.
And so, the first letter in anav, as you can hear that A sound, is an ion. And that ion has to do with your eyes, but more importantly, in this case, it has to do with vision, specifically God's vision, right? And it's fascinating to think about, in so many different words that start with an ion, that if we could get God's vision, you know, which clearly Jesus referred to himself as meek, on a couple different occasions, then we begin to see that.
But the vision of what is the next letter is in the letter Nun. And that letter has to do both with faith, in fact, it's sort of over this bin over a person praying. And it also has to do with the Word of God, so it's a faith in the Word of God. When you think about a vision of faith, in other words, from my standpoint, when you know for sure, bucksmen, that somehow or another God's going to provide the money for your car repair bill, and somehow or another, this is what God had in mind for you, that you were going to miss the ketocolos deal, or whatever it is that, you know, I was talking Sunday with one of our wonderful members that had lost her daughter after we prayed and prayed and prayed for her while she had cancer. And yet, she knew that this was God's plan, and so having God's vision and trust in God, like, His plan is so good that I'm totally good right here. Like, Jesus can accept Gethsemane because, or essentially to go to Calvary, because of, you know, I know that...
Right, right. And the last letter, which is perhaps the most spectacular in this particular word, I love it, I love it, I love it, it ends with the Hebrew letter Vav. And that letter is like God is dangling a rope down at you, and it's going to connect you to heaven, okay? And so, when you connect to heaven, you know, then you really are in this position to be meek. And the reason why I say it, the reason why I particularly like it in this word, is when you really study it, you're going to find that it's a gift, that it's one of the gifts of the Spirit. You know, in other words, when you look at the list of the spiritual gifts that we have in Galatians 5, right? Galatians 5.
Right, the second to the last one, and it's always been my opinion that they get harder as you go along. Self-control is the one that, you know, but it's interesting, meekness, or gentleness, is the one which, by the way, is the same word that Jesus was referring to, the same Greek word that Jesus referred to in the Beatitudes. It's the same word that Paul referred to in Galatians 5, 23, you know, when he was going through the fruits of the Spirit. And so we know that it's a gift. Absolutely. I'll tell you, Robbie, and Bill, when this happened, I was stunned by the cost, but exactly what he was talking about, brother Robbie, I had a sense of, let's just call it stability about it. I knew that the real reason to go to St. Clairsville was not to see brother Nikita, but was to meet this young man named Travis, who happened to be the tow truck driver for almost three hours, and his soul being courage, guys.
Right, right, right. He gave me that big hug, I'll tell you, and he says, I got the sermon because of you, busman. I was walking on cloud nine, so I was amazed that God used me in such a way that impacted that young man, which was just, it was too overwhelming to put into words. And so when I got the repair bill, guys, it really didn't bother me, and then it was just amazing. My sister came and said, hey, the rest of our brother's settlement from his estate just came through, and she hands me a check, Bill and Robbie, and it was more than the repair bill. It was more than the repair bill cost. Right on time.
It was incredible, Robbie. So I'm really curious, Bill, your thoughts. Well, it's funny. So, busman mentioned that he trusted God, and, you know, all of us live here, we're so blessed, we're more affluent, we're wealthier than most everybody in the world. You've got people in third world countries who would be grateful for water and food.
And it brings in a lot of story. I heard Chip Ingram living on the edge, because he was living in an apartment going to Dallas Theological Seminary, working his tail off, and his wife comes to him and says, the lady next to the apartment across the way, her husband took off, left her with the kids, took all the money, they don't have any rent money. And Chip said, all I had was our rent money. And his wife, Theresa, said we should give it to her. And he was like, whoa. She said, well, you know, you say we should trust God. So he did. He got a letter with a Green Bay Packer logo on it. It was basically from a gentleman who said a long time ago, you did a Bible study, it impacted me greatly.
And in that letter was a check for the exact amount that Chip had given to the lady for the rent. Isn't that amazing? It's got us, yes. It always makes a way, I grumble about, we always grumble about some car stuff, because it's so expensive. But, you know, there's so many people who can't afford to repair their cars.
I know. As the Christian car guy, you are speaking my language. Well, we've got to go to a break, because I can hear that music. We're going to be right back with your question, right, or your comment. I would love to hear it. 866-348-7884 is the number you're calling and share.
866-348-7884. We'll be right back. Truth Talk Live! What is meekness today on Truth Talk Live? I'm about to sit on a Christian car guy's show, I'm sorry.
Too many years of doing that one. Yes, this is Truth Talk Live, and we need your calls. Like, what do you think of when you think of the word meekness?
866-348-7884, 86634 truth. Is it weakness, right? Because Jesus described himself a couple of times as being meek, right? Like, lay your burdens on me, I'm meek and humble. And, you know, those, again, he would come, you know, actually the day, interestingly, the day that he cursed the fig tree and then he cleared the temple, was the day that he came humbly riding on a donkey, or he came meekly.
He actually used the same word that he used there. So, what does that word mean to you? You know, you've heard lots of sermons, I bet, on the Beatitudes. I hope you have. If you haven't, I mean, what an amazing thing to just ponder and study.
And I need, I really do need your input, right? Because I know there's lots of ways to look at this word. It's more than beautiful. The promises in Scripture for it are beyond, like, oh my goodness.
So, I'm going to just read a few of them for you that just blow me away. So, obviously, or the very first time you find the word, I shouldn't say obviously, the first time that you find the word is it describes Moses in Numbers 12 to 3. It says, Now the man Moses was very meek above all the men which were upon the face of the earth. Now, this meek guy, I might just point out, murdered an Egyptian and buried him in the sand. You know, he at times was meek, but at that point, you know, with the Egyptian situation, and he certainly stood toe to toe with Pharaoh on many occasions, yet he was the meekest man upon the face of the earth. And so it gives you that idea that it doesn't appear that Moses was a weak guy, although his arms apparently couldn't hold up too good under certain circumstances.
But nonetheless, you know, something to think about. But that's the, we know that the Bible, anytime you find the very first place it's mentioned, you know, there's a key to the word there. And we know that Moses was certainly that way. And then in Psalm 22, 6, it says, The meek shall eat and be satisfied. They shall praise the Lord that seek him. Your heart shall live forever.
That's interesting, isn't it? Your heart shall live forever if you're meek. This is a promise right there in Psalm 22, 26. And then 25, 9, it says, The meek will he guide in judgment, and the meek will he teach his way.
Now, that's some more promises, right? But again, it's interestingly, as we talked about in the last segment, it's a fruit of the Spirit. So it's a gift, right?
How do you get it? Well, like all the fruits of the Spirit, if you keep quenching the Spirit, you've got to be obedient. You've got to be walking in the Word. And then, you know, obviously it's one of those things you work on. As far as just, you know, asking for that gift, hoping for that gift, praying, you know, walking with Jesus, and eventually, you know, it gets better. Like kind of that idea, the last fruit of the Spirit was self-control. It comes right after meekness.
Anyway. And then Psalm 37, 11, But the meek shall inherit the earth. Ah, it sounds familiar, right? It sounds like what Jesus said in Matthew 5. And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
Well, you think about when we talked about what meekness is, right? It's having such faith in God's vision that I'm good with whatever the circumstances may be, because I know that all things are going to work together for His good, for those who are called according to purpose, all those things, right? And again, He's holding down that lifeline from heaven to the anav, to the meek of the earth, and there it's repeated in Psalm 37, 11. In Psalm 76, 9, it says, When God arose to judgment to save all the meek of the earth. Psalm 147, 6, it says, The Lord lifteth up the meek, and He cast the wicked down to the ground. And I love Psalm 149, 4, it says, For the Lord taketh pleasure in His people. He will beautify the meek with salvation. Right?
It's again, all those promises. And again, it clearly, from my standpoint, what a neat gift to begin to ask for, to push into. I like that strength under control. I've also heard, and I bet some of you have heard from time, that's an equestrian term, that idea of anavness, I don't know. But I've heard that, and that whole idea of a stiff neck. If you had a horse, and you got these reins, and some horses, if you just barely touch their neck on one side or another with their reins, they turn their head immediately. But you talk about strength under control, I mean, wow, there you go. But, you know, certain horses, I don't know, maybe you've ridden one of them, you know, you can jerk on that thing with all you got. And the old stiff neck.
You know, so whenever I hear that stiff necked idea, I always think of those horses that, you know, again, or maybe it's a, you know, you're trying to plow with a mule, however that works, it certainly is that. You know, there are several, several, several of the prophets that mention meekness, but I love Isaiah 61 one, you know, one of my favorite scriptures and all the word, it says, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good tidings, to whom? Unto the meek. Right? This is the same scripture that Jesus would quote, right, in the synagogue there in Nazareth.
And, you know, the people want to stone him. So, we got Mike, is in Drayton. Mike, you're on Truth Talk Live. Good afternoon, my friend. How you doing, my friend?
I am wonderful. I hadn't talked to you in weeks. Yeah, I know. Sorry.
No, it's not your fault. I know that I haven't done the show that much, and we've had a lot of wonderful hosts, and so, you know, God has blessed with all that stuff, and so I got a chance to do it today. Yeah, sometimes I just listen, listen, listen, you know what I mean?
Today, he's telling me to call in. Good. Does boldness have something to do with the meekness? To, you know, you, so, you have to submit, I would say, that's a good term, submit to God, and which takes boldness and understanding what God wants, because it's easier, lots of times, the other direction of, you know, what you want to do more than what God wants to do.
Oh, I'm so agree with you, Mike. You know, as we were talking about, since it's a fruit of the Spirit, if the Spirit is pushing you to do something, like call into the show, and you disobey, you know, you're quenching the Spirit, and it kind of, you know, disqualifies you from the gift of me. You're looking for the spiritual gifts. You've got to listen and pay attention to the Spirit.
You know, so, I was thinking about this in the sermon illustration that I used on Sunday, of people that I knew that were meek, and just what you described, obedient to the point of, I can't believe that they're doing this, again, because they could sense God's vision, in other words, God gave it to them. So, a couple, three years ago, I interviewed a young man by the name of Caleb Barley, and Caleb makes musical instruments, and has for years, but he was also a missionary, and he also was married to a Filipino woman, and so he was very interested in the Philippines. Well, one night, he has a dream, and in this dream, he sees this really, really bizarre-looking musical instrument. It's actually round, looks like a brass bowl, and it had strings all the way across it of all different, you know, thicknesses and all this kind of stuff, and God gave him a complete download of what this instrument would look like, and he saw himself handing it to the chief of some tribe in the Philippines, and he was told that it was a tribe, and I can't pronounce this properly, but I think it was a Timinim, the Timinim tribe, in the Philippines, and so he, you know, wakes up the next morning like, wow, what was that?
He was all excited. He tries to work on this musical instrument, but he gets frustrated because it's so complicated, and he just kind of gives up because he searched the Timinim tribe all over the place, couldn't find nothing that made any reference to that in the Philippines, and so he just assumed it was a crazy dream, and he let it go. Well, about a year and a half later, he is in the Philippines, and he's on a bus, and he's sitting next to a man who, through the discussion, he realizes that this man also loves Jesus, and they begin to have this wonderful conversation about Jesus, and in the meantime, the Holy Spirit, are you getting this, Mike? The Holy Spirit says, ask this man about the Timinim. And he goes, no, I'm not going to ask him about the Timinim.
You know, that's a crazy dream. That makes no sense in the Holy Spirit. Yeah, the Holy Spirit says, ask this man about the Timinim, right? And so he says, sir, the Holy Spirit's saying, I'm supposed to ask you about the Timinim, and he goes, how would you know that's my tribe? And he goes, what?
And he goes, yeah, this is, he said, my tribe is very, very dangerous. You know, nobody goes into them because they've been a warring people for centuries, even the Japanese left them alone. I mean, these people are like, you just don't go there.
And I didn't realize there were places like that still in the Philippines. And so wait till you hear the rest of this particular, again, the idea is meekness is still being led by the Spirit, right? You're getting God's vision, so you better go, as Moses did. And we'll continue with Caleb's story. You're going to stay with us, Mike? Yeah, I'll stay with you. Oh, wonderful.
You're my, I love it. We'll be right back. All right, sir. Thank you. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today's question is, what, what is meekness? Meekness, you know, as Jesus would ask, or actually, as he promised in Matthew 5-5, it says, blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. And when we left our hero, Mike, we were talking about Caleb Byerly and his Philippine experience.
And so if you're just tuning in, I hate, but I'll try to catch up a little bit. He had a dream about making a musical instrument and about a tribe in the Philippines. And then he was on a bus and got made aware of this particular tribe. I mean, as he was sitting down next to this gentleman, the gentleman said, how would you know about my tribe? So once he had talked to that man a little bit and saw that there was a way that he could actually go to this territory, and told the man about the story, and he said, well, you must build that instrument and you must give it to the chief, because that's what God told you to do. So, you know, being led by the Spirit, Mike, you know what I'm saying? He goes back and he asked the Holy Spirit to help him and he prays and he prays and he prays and he builds this instrument.
And if you Google Caleb Byerly's name, it's Evergreen Ministries, there's a picture of it there. It's absolutely spectacular. And I'm trying to think if it's called the Soleimani, there's a name of it, but anyway. So he builds this thing, doing the exact specifications. God gives him the way to tune it and everything.
And so this thing, when he plays it, it's making this heavenly music, because you can imagine it's kind of like a stringed instrument with a brass back that just made beautiful music. So once he finishes the instrument, he gets his friend that he met on the bus to help guide him into this area, which is highly dangerous, because, I mean, they shoot to kill there. And so they make the way, you know, and they meet some people in the one tribe, oh, you've got to go show that to the chief.
So, you know, they go another day or two to get to the chief. And when they get to the chief, you know, the very first thing he does is he hands out the instrument to the chief and the chief looks at him and says, where did you get that? And he says, well, I made it. And he said, no, you don't understand. Where did you get that instrument? And he said, no, sincerely, I made it. And he said, why are you not listening to me? Where did you get that instrument? And he said, well, God gave it to me in a dream, told me to make it, and told me to present it to the chief of the Timanin tribe.
And I'm not probably saying that right, but that's kind of the idea. And the man says, this is a fulfillment of our prophecy. 200 years ago, this instrument was stolen by our enemies. But our prophecy said that God would return it to us when he was ready to return our people to him. And he takes him back to a room that's back behind, you know, sort of where this guy lived, where the chief of the tribe lived, and there was this ancient, like, museum. And here were all these artifacts from literally thousands of years of Timanin people on the walls. And here is this spot where the salamin, this instrument, was supposed to go.
You know, the perfect shape of it. He goes, that's where that goes, you know? And he said, you know, they just began to worship him like he was God because he was a fulfillment of their prophecy. And he was like Peter, you know, like, no, no, no, no, not me, not me, Jesus Christ.
You know? And so he actually was instrumental in leading most of that tribe, which is literally thousands of them, to Christ and starting a church there. And the Wycliffe Bible translators have come in and are going to translate, or I guess it's still in the process of translating a Bible into the Timanin, right, language. And so when you hear that story and you think how obedient he was to the Spirit in so many different ways led to this unbelievable, it's an unbelievable testimony, but all those lives changed for generations.
Yeah, I have something. He was used like an instrument. Oh, yeah. He was, God was telling him to do this, God was telling him to make that, God was telling him in a dream, God was using him like an instrument. God was strumming him, you know? I mean, he was humbling himself and being meek enough to God to make that instrument.
And that's what we need to do, you know? I mean, we just, we need to obey God, listen to God, pray to God, dream about God. It's just wonderful that God will use us and give heavenly music to the world if we're humble enough and meek enough, you know? No matter what your abilities are, you don't have to be a scholar.
You don't have to be any of those things. You just need to be humble and let God direct your life. And every day it's a struggle because the world tells you that, you know, hey, do it, do it for you, do it for yourself.
Do it, you know, go work, make money, buy a new car, buy a new house. God's telling you, what do you want, what are you going to do for me instead of what are you going to do for you? And amazingly, God does a lot of things for you when you humble yourself and allow that to happen, you know what I mean?
No, I'm with you. And I think that is a beautiful understanding. We got a couple minutes left, by the way, if somebody else wants to call in and comment on meekness. I would love to know, you know, another angle of that, whatever that may be.
The number to call in is 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. So, you know, even your seat belt experience, right? Yeah, humbling myself, yeah.
And just following his lead and trusting his vision and just saying, okay, God. Wasn't it one of those times you actually got up in the median? Yeah, there was a couple times, yeah, where, well, one was it was in the back of my cabinet shop and this guy drove back there because the Google Maps told him to go back there for some reason, he said, and I don't think he had all his senses. But anyways, he drove back there and got stuck in the mud and I was able, with the seat belt thing and him and God, you know, we was able to push him out and I was able to witness to him and talk to him about God. So there's probably a bunch of people listening right now, Mike, that have never heard about the seat belt thing. So you got to tell them because they're like, what do you mean the seat belt thing?
Well, tell them about the seat belt thing. Okay, you take the seat belt out of the car and you shut the door and then now you got this loop and you put it over your shoulder and you can use the seat belt as leverage to push the car, if I explained that well enough. And then you're able to put the seat belt over your shoulder right next to the door and you got your hand on the window and the seat belt on your shoulder and it gives you tremendous leverage with your shoulder. So you pull the seat belt out as far as you can pull it, I assume.
Right? Yes. And then now that you've got it out, you shut the seat belt across the back of the door or the top of the door. No, you just shut the door.
Pardon me? You pull it all the way out and you shut the door on the seat belt which will lock the seat belt in place and the thing. And then that way you can put it over your shoulder and then you can use it as leverage. It's like those big linemen on a football, they push the sled and they use their legs and get underneath and then they could be able to push the sled. It's the same thing principle with the seat belt.
You're able to get leverage and then instead of just pushing with your hands and your legs and the back of the car, you're able to use your shoulders, your whole body. Believe me, I was out of breath when I've done this multiple times pushing people around. Hey Mike, go do this one. Hey Mike, stop and do this one. I'm thanking God right now that I don't have to push any more cars right now anyways, but I'm willing. You know what I mean? It's pretty amazing really how much leverage you can get with using the seat belt.
And Robbie, have you tried it? No, God hasn't given me anybody to push a car. I got to admit that you did a better job of explaining it today than ever before. I did not know about the part where you're supposed to shut the car door, but that makes perfect sense. Yeah, you shut the car door.
It kind of locks that seat belt and then now you have this loop that you can put around you. Plus it's really fun to say shut the front door. Yeah, shut the front door. And then the guy that I was pushing out in the back of my cabin shop, he did the same thing. We were able, I mean it was a smaller car, but he was stuck under his axles with mud.
And I'm 58, he was a lot younger, but we were able to push that car right out of that mud. And where did you learn this trick? It was on, I was just looking for something for my cabin job, for my cabin work, how to install something.
And all of a sudden this video came across about if you got stuck in the mud, you know, or use your seat belt as leverage to pull yourself out of the car. And I'm like, well, why did that come up? You know, I wasn't looking for that. And then the Holy Spirit said in my mind, or God said in my mind, remember this, remember this. I said, okay, I'll remember it, God.
That's me. I love it, I love it, I love it. Well, we've come to the end of this episode, but I'm so grateful for everybody listening today. For those who called in who are more than amazing, I thank you, Mike, for your stories. But you know, we all push into what the Holy Spirit is sharing with us, push into His Word so we can grow our faith that we can get that gift of meekness. And we'll be back tomorrow with a lot more.
