Thank you so much, thank you so much for tuning in. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Why you might ask? Because we have life, health, and strength. And the Lord has blessed us to see yet another day. And although your day may not be going as good as someone else's day, you should have gratitude.
And be filled with great thankfulness because the Lord has allowed you to see another day. You know often times we hear about the negative stories of what's going on in society or an individual's life. Every time you turn on the television there's something heinous or crazy taking place. There's so much bad news going around.
That is true, there's so much bad news. But as Christian believers we have read the end of the book. We know that we overcome Satan, we overcome the evil one. We overcome him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony. Then it says, and they loved not their lives unto the death.
That's Revelation 12, 11. And so we are overcomers. Don't forget that. I know that we're living in a noisy world. There's so much going on, there's so much taking place. There's so much that we can point to as it relates to this is bad and this is wrong and doom and gloom. All of these things, hear me Christians, hear me believers. We are overcomers.
You know that's why I don't allow people to play the whole victim game with me. I'm a black man, yes I'm a black man. I'm truly an African American. My father is from Nigeria. He came to the US in the early 70s and he did what most migrants do when they do it legally. They come to the US and they want to find a reason to remain here because they begin to experience life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and what that looks like. And you know America can be said that it's a land flowing with milk and honey. It's not a perfect nation. It's a nation however that is great and the God of the Bible made this nation great. And it's great because of our liberties, because of our freedoms and because those who signed upon the Declaration of Independence had this mindset that America was founded upon Judeo-Christian principles. During that era many of the signers of the Declaration of Independence they were men who quoted scripture and Bible. They knew the word.
The word, the word is very much so a part of the founding of America. But I don't play that victim game. Yes my father is from Nigeria.
My mother is from the US. I'm an African American but I am not a victim. I'm not a victim. I don't view myself in that light. Often times I'm told that I should hate America, hate this nation, hate our country, have a chip on my shoulder towards the white man, all of that junk. But that's not how I feel because I don't see myself from a position of deficit.
I see myself in the manner that God has created me and fashioned me. 1 Peter 2.9 says this, but you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. I've never met a person who was royalty but at the same time they were a victim. I'm not a victim. I don't teach my three children to be victims. I have two boys and a girl. My son is 14.
My daughter is 13 and my youngest son is 7. I don't train them and teach them that they are victims and that they are inadequate because of the color of their skin. Nor do we talk as if there's more than one race. There's only one race. And that race is the human race. Now we know that we have several different ethnicities but there's only one race. And so as Christians we must keep this at the forefront of everything that we do and ultimately we are fighting against diversity, equity and inclusion. Woke ideologies that seek to divide us and recently I put a article into The Federalist.
It was posted today entitled DEI is emasculating the FDNY to just like the Secret Service. You know it's right. You know it's true.
You know you know it and bear with me here. Bear with me here as I share this article with you. If you want to call in the number is 866-348-7884.
The number is 866-348-7884. But I want to share this article with you. It says living in a society where it is normed for females to take roles to protect men from physical threats would have been unthinkable back in America's saner days. It would be like imagining that when the Titanic ship famously sunk instead of men sacrificing their lives for the women and children women tried to save the men. If this kind of warped thinking had dominated society back then America's rise to greatness would have sunk right along with the Titanic.
No nation can stand unless the strong protect the weak. We'll be back with this article once we return from the break. See you soon. We're back. We're back. We're back. I'm your host, Jon Amanchukwu and we're talking about this recent op-ed that I placed in the Federalist entitled DEI is emasculating the FDNY2 just like the Secret Service.
I want to go back to it. It says yet what diversity equity and inclusion proposes is that women act like men and become equal protectors in America. DEI is Democrats made up initiative that seeks to implement a radical progressive agenda by erasing men and women's biological differences and ideology that mirrors the transgender movement. Men and women are equal. We're equal men are not better than women women are not better than men. We are equal.
However, we are we are truly different. So as we now know DEI has been implemented in the Secret Service as news spread about the shock attack on President Donald Trump's life at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Americans were immediately struck by the bizarre scene of a number of women assigned to protect Trump and to boot women shorter than him.
The Secret Services director Kimberly Cheadle has since been forced to resign but not before it was discovered that she gave a previously aired CBS interview and bragged about her work to change the sexual makeup of the Secret Service using DEI. shedding light on why the Secret Service today does not resemble the same male dominant force that showed a much quicker reaction and surrounded Ronald Reagan in the early 1980s when he was shot at. As DEI continues to take over much of government and corporate America's human resources.
We must recognize the consequences that lie ahead. This is particularly true for occupations focused on providing public protection and that depend on male physical strength. So as the nation reviews the Secret Service's internal policies America needs to become aware of where else DEI policy is replacing men with women and posing a risk to human life. New York's Fire Department is one such example just like the Secret Service the FDNY has had at its helm a woman who has been working to emasculate the department with increased female hires appointed by Mayor Eric Adams back in 2022. Laura Cavanaugh has served as the first ever female fire commissioner in the last several weeks Cavanaugh has come under public scrutiny for her handling of personnel matters. It has been revealed that she sent communication bismarching the FDNY to New York Attorney General Letitia James someone who has vindictively been out to get President Trump. According to news reports Cavanaugh is close friends with James and was miffed with firefighters who chanted Trump and booed James at an FDNY graduation ceremony event in March. In private texts that disparage the FDNY Cavanaugh told James she had tried to fix the behavior of the FDNY predominantly male workforce but hasn't succeeded.
Not surprisingly Cavanaugh's unkind remarks about New York's beloved FDNY triggered a public backlash since then Cavanaugh has announced plans to leave her post, though her supporters, including Adams and sister resignation is voluntary. While Cavanaugh wish she could fix the FDNY it should be noted that she has nonetheless made consequential personnel changes to the female ratios. Adams a progressive bragged about this in a statement praising Cavanaugh for how she overhauled how the FDNY recruits and retains while simultaneously tripling the number of women serving as firefighters. The fact that Adams celebrates that firefighter slots have been filled with women instead of men is simply illogical especially since it likely means the physical standards for hiring have been lowered. That also means the physical capability of firefighters to save lives has also been lowered. The stronger and more fit that firefighters are obviously the greater the likelihood that they are equipped to save lives. The average physically fit man is stronger than even the most exceptionally strong woman.
Case closed. If there is a shortage of strong and healthy men applying then the FDNY needs to do a better job at recruiting arguing that there are certain jobs that only men are physically apt to do should by no means be misconstrued as degradation of women's intellect or value. There are plenty of conservative patriotic women who would be capable of serving in the highest office of the land and a better option as president than many men such as President Joe Biden. Also contrary to the secular feminist narrative is folded into DEI ideology when men protect women and children from physical threats this is not anti-woman it is pro-woman it is a sign of a healthy functioning society. Nowhere was this greater displayed than by the tragic and heart-wrenching death of Corey Compratore a retired firefighter chief who happened to attend Trump's Butler rally and was horrifically murdered while heroically sacrificially sacrificially and lovingly laying down his own life to save his wife and daughters. He showed the natural male DNA instinct that is in husbands and fathers to value women above ourselves.
As President Trump beautifully quoted from the Bible during his Republican National Convention acceptance speech there is no greater love than to lay down one's life for others. You know this is imperative it's important that we do not allow the culture to constantly use Marxism and DEI as tools to divide us. At the end of the day what we should desire from the FDNY the Secret Service airline industries is that the best individual for the job would get the role to serve in said positions.
I've never got on an airplane I fly quite a bit and said to myself that hey I hope that the pilot is black because black people have a way of flying planes that are quite better than white people that would be asinine it will be foolish. And so to be divided along the lines of DEI is a great horror and destruction to America and we must must put it to end you want to know why because DEI kills. I'll be back after the break. We're back from the break.
I am your host, John Amanchukwu and the number to call in is 1-866-34-TRUTH that's 1-866-34-TRUTH call in call in if you would like to share something. According to what we just spoke about as relates to the article that I placed in the Federalist on how not only is the FDNY being emasculated but so is the Secret Service. And speaking of emasculation and even on the topic of desecration the Olympics what were they thinking what were they thinking and the roll out of the world's Olympics in Paris it was an awful shame. I mean by now you possibly have seen it. The Daily Mail talked about it and they put out an article that says World's Press says Paris Olympics opening ceremony was a boring soaking wet mess that was as beautiful as it was mad. I mean it was despicable the UK press dubbed last night's disastrous opening ceremony as patchy being an insane cabaret of cliches and the Daily Mail slammed it as la farce and Britain is not alone in that opinion with many newspapers across the globe expressing similar sentiments. Even the French admitted the ceremony hosted in their famous capital was just too much it was too much and that's true.
We're going to get into this. It was too much. It was raunchy it was disgusting it was ratchet. It was secular it was unholy and unrighteous to see the desecration of the Lord's Supper. It was a shame that was and you know I say it to myself often how come they don't do Islam like this how come people don't seek to you know do heinous things to show a disdain for the honorable Elijah Muhammad. But when it comes to Jesus anyone and everyone thinks that they can do terrible things to shame our Christian faith. Now what happened just a few days ago with the opening of the World Olympic Olympics with the desecration of the Lord's Supper and a gentleman who I guess he was a blue smurf trying to be Jesus. Maybe he was rolling around on the table and then he had a young child at the table then one of the transgenders who were at the makeshift Lord's Supper had on what looked to be a speedo and part of his genitalia or was out.
I don't know to call it a he or she I don't know I don't know what to call it but it just part of the genitalia look like it was it was out okay I'll just I'll just leave it at that. And just to see that take place man is a travesty but we don't see that take place when it comes to other religions. It's solely when people want to pick on Christ when people want to pick on Jesus and the Christian Church and keep in mind in America.
We recently had a transgender day of visibility President Biden moved to do that after President Obama made it a thing. During his administration and so this year, the transgender day of visibility fell on Easter Sunday resurrection Sunday now to Christian believers. That's an important thing because if there is no resurrection then we all might as well go along with life because at the end of the day we are dead in our sins according to the Apostle Paul.
But we know that there is a resurrection in that there has been a resurrection in Jesus is the first fruits of them that slept. We know that but we saw the desecration of Easter Sunday and now we have witnessed in the same year the desecration of the Lord's Supper to profane it and to disgustingly depict what took place during that most sacred moment. It's evil and it is corrupt. The New York Times scathingly called it a bloated made for TV spectacle with the New York Post labeling it boring ill-conceived and choppy.
They are right. Meanwhile, South Korean meeting media noted the impressive imagination of using the whole city as the backdrop, but the event was overshadowed by the country's team being misintroduced as North Korea. What a shame.
What a shame. French newspaper Le Monde wrote in a rave review that director Thomas Jolly succeeded in this challenge of presenting an immersive show and a capital transformed into a gigantic stage. Right-leaning Le Figaro said the show was great, but some of it was too much. It said a few parts were unnecessarily provocative images, including an apparent recreation of the painting of the Last Supper of Jesus and his and his apostles in front of a fashion show. Christians, including Elon Musk, slammed the opening ceremony for the Last Supper style performance in festivity or party scene, complete with models, dancers, fashion icons and drag queens from the host nation.
The performance took place on a bridge over the capital's river around the table, which also doubled as a catwalk. At the center was a woman in front of DJ equipment with golden halo style crown with a with a golden halo style crown surrounded by several drag queens and dozens of dancers and performers. Some hit out at the organizer at the organizers, accusing them of creating a woke parody. The ceremony also prompted fury from many Australians, with some declaring it disrespected 2.4 billion Christians and was a sign the West has fallen.
Way to just insult 2.4 billion Christians around the world. Maybe I'm not artsy enough, but all I see here is a mockery of Christianity. The Last Supper with Jesus and the 12 apostles and they seem to have recreated it very poorly with drag queens.
Journalist and entrepreneur Carla Estratio took aim at a part of the ceremony which showed what appeared to be a nod to the iconic Leonardo da Vinci painting, The Last Supper, but with people in drag costumes standing in for some positions. Hear me and hear me clear what we witnessed. Through the profaning of the Lord's Supper is really what the Apostle Paul was getting at in Romans chapter one.
We are at a place where we are seeing expressly and before our eyes how far America and this world has strayed. It's true Romans 1 verse 18 says for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who hold the truth in unrighteousness because that which may be known of God is manifest in them for God had showed it unto them. Verse 20 says for the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made even his eternal power and God head so that they are without excuse. God has made everything known to mankind of his greatness and splendor and many of those who reject him according to the Apostle Paul here in verse 20 they are without excuse verse 21 says because that when they knew God they glorified him not as God neither were thankful but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. They professing themselves to be wise they became fools and we see this a lot. There are so many people today that think that they're so smart and articulate and eloquent. They think that they are so puffed up with the world's knowledge and wisdom, but at the end of the day, the wisdom of man is simply just foolishness to God.
He tells us in Psalm 14 one that the fool have said in his heart that there is no God and to see what happened at the Olympics shows that mankind thinks that they are God, but you know, God will always get the last laugh because God will not be mocked. We'll see you after the break. We're back from the break.
We're back from the break. I'm your host John. I'm in Chukwu, and I believe that we have a caller who has dialed in.
I believe it's Mike from Dayton. Mike, how are you doing? Great. Thank you for taking how you doing?
I'm glad you took my call. John is I'm watching Newsmax and they showed the you know, the people at the table, you know, the mocking God, you know, the you know, the Last Supper and man that my stomach just what do you call it? It just got sick and hey, and you know, I think we're not my favorite verses trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but all your ways acknowledge him. And then you'll make your pastoring. We should we should care about the what the devil and the wilds of the devil, but then we should cast our cares upon God and say God, please take care of this world and and and and we need to pray for this world that we know Jesus and maybe we'll have a great revival over this mockery of Jesus. We could maybe we'll have people say hey, this is wrong and and maybe they'll seek after God and not not not go from God. God's our great God and maybe he can he can turn things around like this in a great way. You know, I mean, let me ask you a question Mike.
Sure Mike from Dayton, Ohio. Let me ask you a question. Do you think that Christians really care where they've really bothered by it? I sure was I hope to I pray and hope so, you know, I mean, I think Christians the devil wants to get you in a place where you're you're at you're at peace the devil don't mess with me and I won't mess with you. I won't rock the boat. I won't go to Nineveh like like, you know, like Jonah and you know preach the Nineveh. I'll just stay here and long as the devil doesn't put me in a whale. I'm okay with that. You know, I mean, I'm okay with with devil.
I'll leave me alone and I'll leave you alone. Well, it's not easy to what you call it. It's not easy to do God's will and be in God's will God God is a controversy over the devil and the world and we're not of this world. We need to turn our lives to God not turn our lives to our job or our art, you know, everything that of the world. We need to turn our what is God want us to do and when we do that, we're it's it's we get adversary after and when we get the adversary after us. It's hard and it's hard to be bold. It's hard to be in tune with God. It's hard to do what God wants us to do because he's always after us and and and he wants to put up.
I listen today. He wants to show us what we did in the past. He wants to show us what we did in the end before you're not that great. You're not that perfect. Look what you do. You don't you're you're dyslexic.
I'm dyslexic, sir, and I have a hard time. Talking in the right in the right direction, you know, I mean my mind goes too far fast and and and the you know, and I know God can help me overcome this, you know, I mean and so the devil wants to remind you of everything that you do wrong and we need to remind the devil. I am a child of God and he's in my heart.
I want to I want to share this with you. I want to share this with you theologically. It may not. It's it's not correct, but I see the point that he was making. This is a quote from Elon Musk that he made just a day or two ago.
It reads, unless there is more bravery to stand up for what is fair and right. Christianity will perish now. We know that Christianity is not going to perish, nor will the word of God. You know, upon this rock, shall I build my church in the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Right. We know the end of the book. We know that we win, but there is a point that he's making, you know, the point the point of the statement is Christians. Have lost their courage. You know the courage to speak up. And it could be that much of what we see taking place the transgender day of visibility that took place this year on Easter Sunday and now the desecration of the Lord's Supper. Could it be because Christians lack bravery and the world feels as if they can do anything to Christian days and or sacred things that are should be near and dear to the hearts of Christians. What do you think about that.
I really do. I, you know, I'm one back when I was 10 seemed like everyone was strong in Christ. It seemed like, I mean, it just seemed like when you know that's 40 years ago it seemed like people were wanting to tell me about God and how to live God and how to be like, you know, how to be right. As the, as the, as, as I got older.
It was easier and easier to be of the world and not of God, you know, I mean, even Christians around me wouldn't sharpen my blade, you know, I mean they wouldn't tell me the right things they wouldn't encourage me to do the right thing, they would, you know, they would just be, you know, I'm at church. How you doing, you like your, you like your job yeah my job's great. Why, you know, know what's God been talking to you about what is, what is, what is, what is up with you, Mike. John, John, are what are you following God or is this what you want to do in life. Do you want to be a radio host. Mike Do you want to be is God telling you to be a carpenter and, and this, what is God leading you, where is God leading you and what is God want you to say and what God wants you to do. That's why I'm calling today, sir.
I got some boldness, you know me. And, and, and we need to have more Christians, even, you know, even older Christians are are lackadaisical in their Christianity. They're afraid to tell someone, Jesus is the way to get to heaven. Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus rose again and came in and died for our sins. And he's the way to be to go to heaven. He's the way to have eternal life. He's the answer, not the world, not our government, not, not all, you know, it's not the world's going to feed you.
God will take care of you. God will send the rain, not the government, making rain where it doesn't need to rain. We need God to take care of our weather. We need God to take care of our lives. You know, Mike, here it is. Why?
Yes. Where do you get this dependency on God that we see lacking in many Christians? Well, it's the lack of communication to God. It's a lack of the lack of be wanting to be close to God wanting to do the right thing with God. It's, it's again, like I said, the devil wants us to be complacent.
If, if I got, I can pay my house payment, I can pay my car payment, I can, I can, I can live life, and I'm okay and I can eat my steak on Friday and I can do this. The devil, you're going to leave me alone? Yes. Okay.
I'll leave you alone. Don't give your money to causes that, that are important because that puts a little burden on your strain of your life. You know what I mean? And when you do those things, you know, when you start obeying God, strife comes around and things happen to you that, that, that you have to say, okay, God, I'm trusting you. It's easy to just say, God, okay, I'm going to, I'm going to do what I need to do.
I don't need to get my tithes of church. I need to take care of me. You know what I mean?
And that all the church has plenty of rich people in it. They'll take care of it. It'll be okay. You know what I mean? And, and that's the, that's the thought process. I feel, I don't know this for sure, that, that the thought, that's the thought process of Christians, that they really are complacent and they're not willing to step out in boldness and be warriors for Christ. And God said to put on the full armor of God, go to battle. Let's reach people for Christ. Let's tell someone about Jesus. Let's help. Let's, let's do those right things and not so much the wrong things. I'm sorry if I'm talking too much, but brother, I appreciate you for calling in. Thank you for your boldness. Thank you for your courage is it's men like you that I believe is going to turn this direction, turn things around in this country and get us back on the right direction.
Thank you so much. I hope so. I hope so. You know, let's pray for our country and the men like me, maybe we can have more both Christians go out there.
My dad was a bold Christian, I'm telling you, I wish I was as bold as he was, because he did not care about anyone, you know, or anything about what you thought about him or anything he was going to tell you about God. That's right. Thank you so much, Mike, for calling in. I appreciate your support. Take care. Well, I tell you what we're coming up on the end of this segment and I thank you so much everyone for tuning in. I'm your host.
