I'm Marc Anthony in for Stu Epperson. We meet again a week ago Friday. I was here and we talked a lot about this country and what we're facing right now. And then, ladies and gentlemen, the world changed the next day. The world changed. We saw an assassination attempt on former President Trump and everybody had a reaction to it. And for those of us that love this country and for those of us that are worried about this country and have been worrying about the country, have been praying about the country.

All of us took a deep breath and believe it or not, a lot of my friends said the same thing. They actually felt a peace once they knew that President Trump was okay. Here's what I mean by things have changed. Things have changed because this country in its storied history has only had this happen a few times. And, of course, we remember what happened to JFK. And what we also remember about that entire episode is that in that case, we still don't know the truth about what happened with JFK. You know, for those of you that don't know, Teddy Roosevelt was shot on the campaign trail and he finished a speech after being shot and then he was attended to later.

But when we look at what happened on Saturday, let's go to the reaction of, let's say, the other side or maybe the other part of the country that most of us don't agree with, most of us don't relate to at all. There were people that said things on social media like only a couple inches. I wish he had had better aim, referring to the shooter whose name I will never mention on this show or anybody else's show or my show.

They said things like, I hope they have better aim next time. I actually heard somebody say on Amtrak two days ago, now Trump's going to make himself the victim. Well, first of all, Trump is the victim. Somebody tried to kill him. And what I'd like to remind everybody about is that the sitting president three days prior said, we need to put a bullseye on Trump.

That's what he said. And when he was asked about it after the assassination attempt, this was his explanation, his reasoning. He said that he thought there wasn't enough focus on Trump and who he really was. So what he meant by that bullseye is that people should focus more on Trump. But what really happened that day is that the shooter came there with the intention of killing the former president. The shooter came there and it was very well planned out. Now, let's go to what President Trump has said about this.

At the convention last night, President Trump said that this was providential, that there was the providence of God was involved. Now, when he narrated what happened to him, this was all because he turned his head because, of course, he had a slide up. He was trying to make a point and people have said, well, if the shooter wasn't disturbed by the off duty police officer, maybe he would have been accurate. But ladies and gentlemen, the shooter got off eight shots. One of those shots hit the former president in the ear.

Now, the question is, what happened with the other seven shots? So let me just sidetrack for a second. You may remember that last week we talked about the providence of God, how it has been a theme in this nation's history, certainly since the beginning. And what I mean by the beginning is that George Washington was 6'6". This was a towering man. He stood out on the battlefield. He would be in front of his troops as battles raged and many times sharpshooters tried to kill him. And he would come off the battlefield with bullet holes, but it never hit his body. Ladies and gentlemen, there are three bullet holes in former President Trump's jacket that he was wearing. Doesn't that make you wonder?

It should. His only wound was in his ear. So when President Trump told the world yesterday it was providential, there is every reason to believe that. And that just, I just want you to understand how close this country came to complete and utter chaos. If not for the hand of God.

If not for the hand of God. And so we now know that this election season has taken on a whole new meaning, a whole new angle. Because that was not just a shot at President, former President Trump.

That was a shot at every freedom loving American. I promise you that we are going to have some great guests joining us. We have Emily Burning from Let Them Live.

Her story is unbelievable. And then we have somebody that most of you recognize this name. Mario Murillo, an evangelist that's been doing it for 50 years, is going to join us as well. So stay with us. This is Truth Talk Live.

I'm Mark Anthony in for Stu Epperson. And so we have a guest that's a great friend of mine. And you're going to want to hear this story. Most of us have felt God nudge us in one direction or another.

But when you hear this story, you're going to understand that when you get that nudge, the next step is that leap of faith. And so Emily Burning joins us right now. She is the co-founder of Let Them Live. Emily, so good to have you. Hey, Mark, it's good to get to be back on your show and get to share about Let Them Live.

Well, well, I as you know, I love the story of how it all came together. So let's see. We're going to fast forward. Take the listeners to that night where you were asleep and your husband was on Facebook. Tell us what happened.

Go. That was the night that changed everything. Everything in your life changed that night, didn't it? The whole course of your life.

Go ahead. Literally everything. So, you know, my husband is on Facebook and he sees in this pro-life group this woman saying, hey, my cousin's got an abortion schedule.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to help her? And, you know, he just thought he's a guy that makes big actions and he just does crazy stuff. And so he reached out to her and was like, hey, why is she having this abortion? And she lost her job living in her car, freezing weather, evicted, like just awful stuff. And his solution was like, OK, well, do you think that financial support would help you? Like if I gave you all the money I had in my bank account, you know, like, do you think you would be able to choose life? And she said yes.

So what she needed to get back into her apartment is I think it was like ten dollars less than what we had in our bank account. And so he nudges me awake and he's like, hey, you want to save a life from abortion? And I was like, absolutely. But, you know, how?

And I think that's a question a lot of pro-life people ask. And that's when he broke the news to me. I think I was too in shock to understand that he just given away everything that we had. But, you know, it's in that moment.

What choice do you have? You know, we knew we'd be able to figure it out. But we we we wouldn't be able to like live with ourselves if we didn't like save this life. So it was it was awesome. More than awesome because and that how long how many years ago was that, Emily? So that was twenty eighteen. It'll be almost six years. So December, it'll be six years ago. Six years. So we talked about this before.

Just give the listeners an idea. Your first year. How many moms did you help that needed you so badly? How many do you think? Yeah. First year of let them live doing what we do.

We helped probably like five moms, maybe. Yeah. Yeah. And OK, so everyone think about that. So it's five. They say five lives. Emily, how many moms did you guys help last year?

Last year was. Oh, my gosh. It must have been like 200, maybe more. I know the total that we're at.

All right. So tell the total. Tell the total is at least a thousand. I think we're closer to like eleven hundred now. It just started with one, you know, and we never thought we'd be able to do more than that. But God has done incredible things.

Yeah, he really has. And you've got thousands of donors now that support you, what you do. And you. So tell the so the listeners understand that because you do much more than help them with an apartment rent or something like. Tell them everything that happens when that mom you hear at the mom or they reach out to you. Tell the listeners what what these moms get.

Yeah, they're going to get something way more comprehensive than when we first started when it was just the two of us. But, you know, they're getting that pregnancy counseling. They're getting someone that's walking beside them, that emotional support. They're obviously getting that financial support, which is more comprehensive than just rent.

You know, sometimes it's car payments, whatever, any any financial support you could really think of. They're also getting support groups with, you know, professionals who lead them and fellow moms so they can have friends that are going through the same thing or relate to each other. They're also getting, you know, financial courses.

So learning how to save, learning how to budget. They're getting connected in their communities because we have a lot of partnerships with pregnancy centers and brief grace groups and just, you know, church communities. So they're getting just all the support. And for many moms, they're getting material support, whether it's us doing that or us partnering with another organization to get them that. But it's really a comprehensive support system that they're getting. They're getting job coaching and help, you know, getting better resumes and just trying to take that next step on their own, because, you know, we really believe in empowering these moms.

And what that looks like is helping them to be the best mom that they can be. Yeah, absolutely. You do.

And we just have like, you know, about three minutes left. But maybe you can share a couple stories that like because I know all eleven hundred are close to you guys. You and Nathan take these people in as your family.

But just tell a couple of stories if you can before we. Yeah, I mean, the most important story that it just not most important, but it is just it's just so close to my heart because I was so involved in it was a mom named Victoria. And gosh, she gave birth in 2020.

So he's four years old now. But she came to us living in her car, homeless father of the baby, just didn't want anything to do with with her. The baby just no support financially or otherwise. She was also dealing with like mental health problems. So just feeling, you know, really like she had no option. And so she had scheduled a two day abortion procedure and we reached out to her and it took a long time. She was probably one of the hardest moms we've had to counsel, but it was so worth it. So, you know, we we were able to she was still not sure about, you know, keeping her baby. So Nathan and I flew out to California and we're like, hey, no pressure. We're here.

If you want to give us a chance. That's all we're asking for is a chance to support you, is a chance to show you that like this is going to be OK. And she did. So she canceled her abortion and chose life. And she invited Nathan and I to be in the delivery room with her when she gave birth. And that was like the most special experience, because not only did we save that child's life, but she had told us that if she had gone through that abortion, she was planning to take her own life afterwards.

And so just seeing her thrive as a mom was amazing. Her dad walked into the hospital room and I opened the door and he said, are you Emily? I said, yeah, are you Kevin? He said, yeah. And he goes, give me a big hug.

We're both crying. And he whispers in my ear. He says, you saved my grandson. And I tell that story because I think that is just is just never something I could ever forget. You know, and it's a reminder of why we do what we do. I have baby pictures, all the love babies hanging all over the place. And I have notes saying, like, remember who you do it for, you know, and every single one of them is so special. But getting to hold the baby that you personally saved and getting to be there in person is just like nothing else I've ever experienced.

No, I just can't imagine that. Emily, you and your husband are just amazing people. I'm proud to call you both friends. And I just love seeing the updates on Facebook. And whenever I talk to you and that story of you flying out to be with that mom is exactly what you do with all of them.

You don't have to fly to be with all of them. That's exactly what you guys do. God bless you both. You guys are heroes. You guys are heroes. I'm really I love you guys so much. Thanks for joining us. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you so much. You're welcome.

I'm Mark Anthony in for Stu Epperson. That was a great interview with Emily burning. And so if anybody, everybody that heard that, I hope it only enforces that everybody can do something. Follow that nudge from God before we bring on our next guest. When everybody talks about the spiritual warfare going on in this country right now.

And we saw it in full color on Saturday when they tried to kill former President Trump. Ephesians six eleven says put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. There you go. Well, our next guest is well known to this audience across the nation. Mario Marillo has been an evangelist for 50 years and he joins us right now.

Mario, thanks for coming on. Well, thank you. And I love that verse you quoted, Mark, because it was at six eleven precisely that that shot rang out and the armor of God indeed was employed in that situation. So that's an amazing is the whole circumstances of the last few days have been assigned from God. Anyone that's watching, listening and discerning has got to believe that we are in a cluster of prophetic and supernatural events that are unfolding right now. Yes, we are. Mario, we are.

And you and I have spoken offline more times than I can count. And right now, I said in an earlier segment that that that bullet was not just meant for the former president, that former that bullet was also a bullet to every freedom loving American that wants this country back. Do you agree with that? Absolutely. And I think that in the coming days, anyone that is not watching carefully is going to be very, very shocked by revelations and facts that come out in the investigation. I think those who have been listening and have been discerning aren't going to be shocked. But the general public is in for a shock in some of the things that are going to come out about what happened Saturday and other things that are going on in the nation right now.

Yeah, absolutely. It seems to be, Mario, it seems to be a season that God is going to reveal all of the corruption and the evil that has been going on behind the scenes while the media has been covering for this administration. More and more facts, Mario, are just dropping out, aren't they? We're seeing I mean, the latest let's just point to something right now. The latest that we heard about this shooter, Mario, is that he had encrypted communication accounts that have been traced to Iran. Well, there you have it. Yeah, there's a lot to be revealed, Mario.

Mario, you're going to be on my show tomorrow. And you were really frank about what you think is going on, not just that what we can see physically, but this spiritual warfare that's going on in this country right now is immense, isn't it? Yes, it's immense. And I feel like that if you were watching the RNC, you knew that the name of Jesus Christ came up in three significant points in that convention, at least three that I saw.

Tell us. And I feel that we can have political reformation, but America needs a heart change. The appetites, perversion, the nationwide all, you know, the pleasure seeking that has gone on has dulled the natural senses, the natural values, the natural common sense.

I believe that immorality doesn't just affect your choices, it actually affects your ability to determine what is a logical common sense choice. And that explains a lot of the behavior we're watching right now. So we are going to see a spiritual awakening, not just a political reformation. Yeah, we're seeing signs of the spiritual awakening across the country. You're seeing it, Mario, at your crusades. You're seeing thousands of people come to these crusades.

We're seeing nationwide on either coast, thousands of people being baptized. Mario, when you just mentioned something, and the Bible actually refers to that, the Bible talks about that sin can sear your conscience, right? Right. And so in truth, and you're right, I agree with you wholeheartedly, this sin, this perversion, this, well, it's okay, let live and let live, right? All of that has seared the national conscience of this country, hasn't it?

Well, one of the most important things that sin, as you just mentioned, does, is it flips the script and changes labels so that the predator thinks they're the prey, and the person who is the vicious criminal thinks they're a victim, and the victim becomes the guilty party. Right. And so that's why states of health having to do with dysphoria about gender and other things like that are being celebrated when they need therapy, not celebration.

Yes. And there's a long list of those things. And people say, well, we shouldn't shame anyone, but I just want to make this comment. We shouldn't shame anyone, they say, but conviction for sin is a very powerful and healthy tool in saving someone from disaster, both here and in eternity. Amen, Mario, because let's just go to the trans issue.

We know a lot of facts when it comes to that. First of all, if those people that choose to mutilate their body actually go through surgery, okay, and they actually do everything, take the drugs that alters their DNA of who they really are, who God designed them to be, their suicide rate, Mario, is over 80% attempted suicide. And people of this world can make all the explanation in the world as to why that is, but the fact is, is that anybody that we do something like that, put aside the fact that society is cheering them to be who they want to be, but anybody that would go through all of those steps is hurting so deeply inside that the only thing that's going to fix that beyond therapy is Christ.

Yes, because it is a demonic power that has confused their gender in the first place. It's interesting that England has banned puberty blockers for all children. The scientists there have come up to a conclusion.

In the UK, they say this is damaging. So let's take their logic for a second. How did they come up with that in the science? Well, they realized that dysphoria may be a temporary condition, but when you treat it as being real and unchangeable, you make it permanent when it might have been temporary. Right.

So they decided, no, we've got to quit trying to do medical procedures on children. And it was Jordan K. Peterson that says any medical doctor who would do a operation on a child having to do with gender is a monster. Yeah, I agree. They're a monster. And I can see his face when he said that because it was the depths of agitation. And it's absolutely true.

Yeah, we have to stop. For instance, Mario, when they slaughter babies, when they rip them from their womb, the other side calls that, quote, women's health care. Right. So they twist everything. That's not women's health care. You're ruining that woman's life forever.

So she will regret that that moment forever. And Mario, there's so much to talk about with Mario that we're going to keep him over until we come back from our break. But see, Mario, that's what they do.

They twist everything. Like we said earlier, it's not women's health care to murder your own flesh and blood. That's not women's health care. All right.

So they make one comment and go to your break. Yes. It can't be called health care unless you've defined a fetus as a disease. Wow. Of course you are. You are the king of the zingers.

You're exactly right. All right. Mario Murillo is with us right now live. He's going to stay with us and be at the next segment.

And I just want to say that the LGBTQ plus people, if they're listening to Truth Talk Live, they just happen to find the channel. I want to say right now with my brother standing with me, you are loved and there is hope for you.

And reach out and we will help you. And I just want to give a first, brothers, as I was listening to your conversation. It's Romans 12 and I'm in the bus mobile, but I believe it's one to three. Romans 12, one to three. And those are the beautiful verses, gentlemen, that says, But be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, everyone, so that you will know the will of God.

It's good and perfect will. The God that LGBTQI plus people are following is a destructor. It wants them killed. It does not want them to be in a place of joy.

It is a destructor. Jesus Christ is the life giver. And I call out to anyone who's struggling with these ideas to give Jesus your life, not the LGBTQI plus community. They do not care for you like the Christians will.

And Christ has commanded us to love you with Christ himself. That's all I had to say, brothers. Thank you for letting me have this time. Thanks. Well, it's such an honor to hear from a fellow soul winner. Yeah. You know, and you know, the church cannot offer these people false hope. You know, we can't offer them false hope in the Book of First Corinthians, Chapter seven.

Paul lists the people in the Church of Corinth that were converted. And he lists those that were murderers, adulterers. Yeah. And he mentioned homosexuality. And then he says something really important. He says such were some of you.

But now you have been cleansed and washed by the blood of Christ. Right. It's not love to offer anyone false hope.

No. And it is self-defeating if you're listening and you're saying, well, this is hateful language. Because we think that you need to understand that this condition is curable. It's in the Bible that it's curable. Right.

Even even back then it was curable. And yeah. And and I just have to interject. I've actually heard people say, well, you know, because they want they want Christ to be of the world. Well, you know, maybe Jesus would be OK with this. I mean, you know, those people are only living. Oh, I'm going to say something that will trigger you because a false prophet has used this phrase to make Christians believe living.

They're just living their best life. Yeah. Yeah.

You know who we're talking about. Very important. Yeah. You know, I just want to comment on that very important mark that people look at a speaker and say, is the Bible imposing standards on this speaker?

Right. Or is this speaker imposing his standards on the Bible? So the Bible begins and ends my opinion. You know, and my opinion doesn't matter. It is the scriptures that have the final authority that we have to we have to understand that we're going to pay a price for taking that stance. That's right.

We're going to be accused of being hateful. But it is the scriptures, the word of God that has the final say. It is the bottom line.

It is the deal breaker. Once you give something out about this subject, it's the word of God or nothing. It is the word of God or nothing. And Mario, you are much more well versed with the Bible than I am. But I am fairly sure that God looks at. The actions of leaders and men of God, meaning pastors and preachers, they're judged at a different standard.

So in other words, if somebody like. That pastor in Houston. Who distorts the word of God to fit his feel good Tony Robbins message of the day. OK, because that's what he does. You know what you just said is completely on point. And it's true because when a pastor like that goes and gives his blessing to anything, for instance, Mario, like that pastor and his wife attending an LGBTQ event and when they take a picture.

There the backdrop is the rainbow that that side is taken and distorted for their own use. Well, there is a powerful metaphor, an example. If you see an alcoholic on the streets and they're begging for money and they'd lie to you and say, well, this is for food. You know, in your heart, if you give them money and there are genuinely people who are homeless and my wife and I give them money.

But we have a discernment of what's going to happen to that money. Right. So if I give money consciously to someone I know is going to buy alcohol, I have become to whatever level we want to admit complicit in the continuation of their addiction in an enabler. Right. You are. Yes. Yeah.

And so if I go to an event to give my approval or endorsement. I have to ask myself, am I giving these people license to continue in their addiction? Right.

Or in their lifestyle? I don't want to be unloving, but I also don't want you to to for me to enable you. I don't want to do that.

No. Hey, Mario, before we go, we only have a couple of minutes right now. OK. You and I have spoken so much. I said this earlier in the show and you're going to be on my show tomorrow. But. At three p.m., everybody, three p.m., Patriot and the preacher show, that's my shameless plug.

Mario, when you and I have spoken about this, let's go. Here we go. Do you believe that God intervened and saved President Trump's life? Oh, there's no doubt. Absolutely no doubt. And I know that that makes certain elements who are out there really, really angry.

But that's because they just hate Trump. Right. There is to it. That's right. They're overpowered by how does he in the time it takes for a bullet to travel from the barrel of that rifle to his head? Yeah.

How could it possibly be a coincidence that he moved his head precisely at that moment? That's right. And one man is second by nanosecond.

We're talking less than two inches before I let you go, Mario. This is a fact. I said it earlier at the beginning of the program. It's a fact that eight shots were fired off. And that it's a fact that former President Trump has three bullet holes in his jacket. Mario sounds a lot like George Washington, doesn't it? It certainly does.

It does. Here's something else. And I know you you may not know this.

Less than a mile away was the spot where Teddy Roosevelt was shot. Wow. And kept going, giving his speech. That's right.

Which I mentioned earlier. Mario Marillo, it was great to have you on. I know the listeners loved hearing your voice again. We'll do this again on this show very soon. Thanks for joining us, ladies and gentlemen.
