This is Stu Epperson from the Truth Talk Podcast, connecting current events, pop culture, and theology, and we're so grateful for you that you've chosen the Truth Podcast Network.

It's about to start in just a few seconds. Enjoy it, and please share it around with all your friends. Thanks for listening, and thanks for choosing the Truth Podcast Network. This is a daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you why. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together.

Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. It is Testimony Tuesday. I love that title. I really do, and I'm so glad that you guys are going to share your stories today.

Like, where did God give you a nudge, or what God stories happened to you lately, or somewhere where, you know, God is just kind of hidden from the world, but if you've been given eyes to see it, where did you see Him? It's Testimony Tuesday. I love that. 866, there's a number to call in. 866-348-7884.

866-348-7884. Again, you know, it's as simple as today, I was talking to Nick, and I'm like, man, if we ever done anything for Tuesday, it's just like, you know, we have like, you know, Wednesday in the Word, we have, you know, Mission and Mission Monday, all that kind of thing, but we've never come up with anything for Tuesday, and so, interestingly, God gave me that. Actually, I started praying, God, what's for Tuesday? He said, Testimony Tuesday. And so, maybe you've got a great one. I would love to hear yours. So I just asked Nick, you know, and Nick gave me this story of the eyebrow man, and after he told me, I'm just in love with this story.

So Nick, you know, for those who don't know, Nick is our producer, an amazing producer, by the way, of Truth Talk Live, and so Nick, share your God story, man. Yeah, so thank you for that, Ravi, but yeah, so anyone who has, who meets me would know that on the top of my left eye, on my eyebrow, I have a scar, right? And people always ask me, you know, did you do that to yourself, or, you know, did you do that intentionally?

No. It was a complete accident. When I was in church, when I was like maybe three or something like that, I was in a wedding, and at the wedding, you know, it was after the ceremony, after we took the pictures, it was time for the reception. And back then, I was a wild child. I was definitely wild. I was, I just wanted to run around everywhere, and people had to catch me.

Like, if you ask Pastor Mittman at East White Oak in Greensboro, he would know, he would know, but I felt through, but basically, I fell through some chairs, like metal, the foldable metal chairs. But let's, you gotta tell, you were the ring bearer of this particular, but after the picture had been taken. Yeah, and it was a good thing I got, it was after the pictures, because if it was before the pictures, I would have been taking pictures with the Hello Kitty Band-Aid on my face. But yeah, it was after the pictures, and we were getting ready for the reception, and basically, I was just running around. I don't know what I was doing just running around, but I was running around, and I was trying to go through a line of chairs. I fell through metal chairs, and I felt hard, apparently. And it was a mess, and I didn't cry.

The thing about it, I didn't cry. But anyways, going out later on, I realized that the scar is a representation of, God has my back. He makes sure I protect it. I might get hurt here and there, but it's a reminder, every day I look in the mirror and brush my teeth and wash my face, that God has got me. Try not to worry as much, but it's just a representation. I remember that. I think that's absolutely cool.

Thank you. Because as you look in the mirror, God has you today. Maybe you've got that little story where somehow or another, God lets you know every day he has you. Or a sign. Or a sign. Right. So if you come to my house someday, and I hope you do, whoever is listening, but if you do, you'll find that I have a little, I'm trying to think of the name of it, but I know the prayer on it is the Shema, and it's on a door of a Jewish house, but we really like it.

So we have it at our house. I'm trying to think of what the actual technical name of it is anyway, but it's in Hebrew, and the Shema is right there. And if you look closely at that, which is in English, it's hero, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

But in Hebrew, the letters are arranged in such a way that there's a very large dalad, and then there's a very large aleph at the end, and those spell the word testimony. And the idea is, as you hear from God or you see from God or whatever, is to share it. And that's what you have a chance to do today on Truth Talk Live, right?

Is you saw him, you heard him. You know, the perfect example for me is we have this amazing deacon at our church. I'm a pastor at West Asheville Baptist Church.

If you ever want to come join us, we would love that. But we had this deacon by the name of Darrell, and the other day he was just telling me that he had gone to Sir Pizza there in Asheboro, and that he and his wife had ordered salads, and when they got up they said, Well, you sure are lucky because you got the last two salads. He goes, I'm not lucky. That's God. Right?

And he couldn't be more sure of that because he has eyes to see it. Right? So what is it that you see that is just so clearly God?

Right? That you've seen the last few days, or maybe you saw it in a big way, in a big story. You know, your own salvation story, or whatever your testimony may be, all of them are still in the story of how God is interacting with you, you know, every day, or in big ways, in the ways that you were made new again, and the way you came to Jesus, and the way that you accepted in your life. Those are all miracles.

Every single one of you have eyes to see them. 866, the number to call in, 866-348-7884. 866-344-TRUTH. So, you know, one of the bigger miracles in my life was, for those who have never heard the story, my wife said, You know, if you're going to marry me, you've got to go to church. And I was a car salesman, if you didn't know, I'm a Christian car guy, and Sundays were my one day off, and that just didn't seem like something that I wanted to be doing was going to church and all that.

But I definitely wanted to marry Tammy, and so we were moving to Greensboro, and she was like, Well, what's the prettiest church in town? Well, it happened to be First Presbyterian. So we went to First Presbyterian Church, the very first time in my life, and it just so happened that that particular Sunday, now this is just a miracle to look completely to me in itself, that particular Sunday, the pastor emeritus was speaking by the name of Dr. Redhead. And I'll never ever forget this sermon as long as I live, because it so impacted my life to this very day. He gave a sermon on prayer, and that sermon on prayer started out with, You have two ears and one mouth, do the math.

When it comes to prayer, you've got to listen. So we've got more of that story, but we want your stories. 866-348-7884, 866-34-TRUTH. It's Testimony Tuesday.

How fun is that? I can hardly wait to hear your story. 866-34-TRUTH. We'll be right back. Truth Talk Live! You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live! It is Testimony Tuesday.

Yes, it is! I'm so excited to hear your God-nudger, your God-story, as the case may be. We would love to hear yours. 866-348-7884, 866-34-TRUTH. Right before the break, I was talking about how I went to my first church service with my wife.

That was definitely a miracle and a God-story. But we're going to get to that in a minute because we've got Luis in South Carolina. Luis, you're on Truth Talk Live! Good afternoon. Good afternoon, sir.

Thank you so much for taking my call. I was wondering, as you said, about you going to church. That was the condition for you to start dating. Well, I grew up in church. I went to church. I was 8-9 months old.

My mother was the first converted in the city of Valencia, Brazil. And I grew up in church and at 7 years old I made a professional faith and I became professional. I went to the Bible Institute in Brazil, got a scholarship to the same universe that Stu Epperson graduated from. I was there in school the same time that he was. At the Master's College? I even went to grad school. Did you, sir? At the Master's College or at, I'm trying to think, Bob Jones? At Bob Jones.

Oh, okay, yeah. Yes, I met him and his two sisters over there. Well, after graduating from college and from grad school, I started a Portuguese ministry broadcasting to Brazil. Then I went to prison ministry, went to church planting, was a pastor in two churches in 2004 when I got converted. I had religion, did not have a relationship. And so for everybody that's out there going to church will not make anyone a Christian more than going to a garage, will not make anyone a car. You sold cars before, you know what I'm talking about.

Oh, I do, I do. So what happened that changed things? Well, I was reading this message that came to me by email on October the 2nd, 2004. And I have that very deep conviction that I was lost and undone as I was reading the message. And I find the only 14 pages of the message and trying to, I agree with the one that preached that my condition was right. And when it came to the end of the message, he said this as he closed the service that he was preaching.

And I was reading the message. He said, Lord, maybe there's someone here today that have done some prayer of confession. Think that they have earned some points with thee, but on their hearts of hearts, they know they are lost and done and make them to repent and come to trust Jesus and Jesus alone for the saving of their souls. And on that day, sir, I understood very clear that salvation is not in a prayer.

It is in a person. So I told the Lord, I refused my ordination. Remember, I'm a pastor in two churches in Brazil. I told him I refused my formation.

I mean, I had the scholastic outright and I refused my position. I consider all things but lost to gain Christ and be found in him. What a place to be. And since then, I became a missionary. I'm a missionary in Cape Verde, Africa, trying to reach the Portuguese nations there in Africa with the gospel of Jesus Christ, telling everybody it's not in a religion. It is in a relationship.

Believe in the Lord Jesus and you'll be saved. What a place to be. Oh, man, this made my day really, really did, Luis. I can't tell you because I know that feeling, right?

I came from a completely different angle, but I remember the point that it was a relationship. And, you know, what a friend we have in Jesus. And it's not just that we get to go to heaven. It's that we get to have him every day, right?

Yes, yes. Well, at the time, remember, I'm a pastor in Brazil. I was a missionary pastor in Brazil and I lost support from, you know, several churches. And one of the men challenged me what happened to me and I told him, I said, Sir, God knew my condition. I deceived because I was deceived. And the day that I knew what I need, I came to Jesus and I ran quickly and he took me in. So I would not be doing what I was doing if, you know, if people were not helping me.

But it is what it is. You grow up in church, but that doesn't mean you have been born by the Spirit of God. And since now, you know, I'm glad as the only verse I remember on that October the 2nd, 2004, I concede all things but lost to gain Christ and that, you know, I gain much more than I lost. I lost a place in hell. I got a place in heaven. I lost membership in the devil's family and I got born in the family of God. And I lost an old life, religious life, and I got a brand new life. Amen. Amen.

Man, what a way to put it. You know, I got all that, too, but I don't know that I've ever realized, oh, wow, I did lose a place in hell. I mean, that's spectacular.

Just, you know, spectacular. Because, you know, that's terror for, you know, to think, to never know love. To never know, you know, mercy or joy. Again, ever. Like forever.

And eternity is a long time, man. So I love, I love, love, love your story. Thank you so much for calling in today. As I said, it really makes my day, Luis. God bless. God bless you, sir, and may the Lord continue to help you to proclaim the truth.

It is the truth that set us free and free indeed. Amen. Amen. Amen. God bless. Bye-bye. All right. We need your story. You heard that one. I'm sure it lit your fire like it lit mine.

I would love to hear yours. 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. If you're digitally gifted and you can do 866-344-TRUTH, then go for it. But so I heard this message on listening to God. And as I said, I was not, I didn't know Jesus.

I didn't understand anything. But what he said that day in that message was, you have two ears and one mouth, do the math. But the other thing he said was that, you know, if God really is God, he knows all this stuff to begin with. And so it's really, really important. And it made perfect sense to me that God would know everything. He said it's more important to hear what he has to say than it is to tell him a bunch of stuff. Although telling him stuff definitely gets it off your heart.

Don't get me wrong. So I kind of tucked that away as if someday I might need it. And my son, Leslie, at the time ran away from home. And, you know, this might have been six or eight months later after the message I heard, but I kept it in my mind. And when he ran away, you know, he got off the school bus, but he didn't come home. And it was four o'clock and it was five o'clock and it was six o'clock and seven o'clock and he didn't show up and he didn't show up and he didn't show up. And we got more and more worried.

You know, you can imagine driving the streets to eight, nine, ten o'clock at night, eleven o'clock at night. About midnight, you know, we called the police. You know, I came home.

Maybe we'd called the police a little bit earlier. I don't recall. I just came home. I was sitting there waiting when I thought, gee, maybe I ought to pray.

Well, here are the results of that. And I hope to hear your story when we come back. Something like, man, whatever it was, if it was just that you got a salad today that you know came from God.

866-348-7884. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today is testimony Tuesday. And so, you know, what is your God story?

I would love, love, love to hear it. The number to call in and share your story is 866-348-7884-86634-TRUTH. And so to finish up my story, my son had run away. It was like now one or two o'clock in the morning. We were terrified.

We had the police had called, all this stuff, and I'd run out of answers. And so I told my wife, which has shocked her no end, that I was going to pray. I went and I laid down and I did what Dr. Redhead had said that day. I just listened. I just said, God, you know what's going on? Tell me what, you know, tell me what's going on.

Tell me where my son is or tell me whatever you want to tell me. I'm listening. And I just sat there and I listened, I listened, I listened. And finally he just came to me.

It was Jesus. He was clear as he could be. And he said, Robbie, I've got this. He's fine.

Don't worry about a thing. And the second he told me, it came with complete faith. That message was so strong. I walked into the living room where my wife was sitting crying and I said, Tammy, he's got this.

Everything's going to be fine. And within a minute and a half, this police car pulls up in the driveway. Leslie's in the back seat.

If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it. And the policeman gets out and he says, well, I saw this young man. He was walking down on Lee Street, a place, part of Greensboro.

He really shouldn't have been at one o'clock in the morning or whatever. And he said, I asked him who he was. He told me, I said, oh, you're on the list. He said, let me give you a ride home. And I've never forgotten that prayer that time.

And how many times have I used that prayer since? And thank you, Dr. Redhead, for the many, many God stories that go along with it. But we got Bill is in Charlotte, North Carolina.

I would love to hear his story. Bill, you're on Truth Talk Live. Good afternoon. Hey, Stu, can you hear me OK? I can. I can hear you great. I'm Robbie, but it's OK. I'm sorry, Robbie. Hey, Robbie.

No, no problem. Yeah, my name. Yeah, I got to hear. But sometimes. So anyways, I got to talk through the key to the other day when he was on.

That was really cool. Answering true question. But as far as the salvation story. So I grew up going in the wrong direction, drinking, drug and stuff like that. And God was kind enough to set me aside. And I went to federal prison in 91 when I was 31.

I had been there long at all. And I got off the phone. My wife and Sonny Adebayo from Nigeria walks up to me. He says, you look troubled. And I said, well, I was trying to be funny.

I said, well, bro, I stayed in nicer hotels. He said, let me tell you about Jesus. And I never read the word going to church as a kid. But, you know, reluctantly. And so my sister sent me sent a one year Bible to me.

You know how that works, Robbie? You know, January 1st, you read some Genesis and Matthew, Psalms and Proverbs. And by the end of the year, you read the whole Bible all the way through it. Psalms and Proverbs twice. And so reading reading that God inspired book converted me and and I became a believer in Christ.

And even though I was incarcerated, I was the happiest I'd ever been in my whole life. Well, you know, that's that's really cool, Bill, because that's how I was converted to an extent as well. As I started reading through the Bible and I came to the Book of Job. And when he started asking those questions like, you know, when were you when I set the tide? And, you know, if you're a realist, you know, bring the you know, bring the sun up for me. I'll be impressed.

Make it snow, Robbie. Do you remember the part of the Bible, Bill, that they grabbed you? I know there's different so many different passages, but I do remember when that one year Bible, you know, you got some old, some new Psalms and Proverbs. And on certain days, maybe the reading from the old and the reading from the new just dovetailed. And I know Psalms and Proverbs are both old, but one to the four would be just kind of like saying the same thing or just like hand in hand with each other. And so not only do we know that the Bible is divinely inspired, is written exactly the way God wanted those 40 authors to write it. But but the way that one year Bible was arranged, it was also some, what's the word I'm looking for? Anyways, divine arrangement so that, you know, one one reading from one section of the word and then the next reading for that same day, we're just kind of saying the same thing. So, I mean, there's so many scriptures that are. So it came alive really is what it kind of it came alive for you. You realize, wow, this isn't just a book. This is.

Yeah, yeah. I never read it. I don't see how anybody can read it, Robbie, and not just become a believer because it's so profound. And of course, we know there's I'm not a theologian, but there's so many Old Testament prophecies.

I've heard as many as 300 that are that have been fulfilled in the new. And I think of stuff like Isaiah or Psalm 22 describing crucifixion. And we could and you could probably name some more so many Old Testament passages about Jesus that are fulfilled in the New Testament. So that's not enough to convert someone. Then maybe they're just trying really hard not to believe.

I don't know. That's wonderful. It really is. And I I really I share your enthusiasm completely for for the word of God.

And because it is him. And and, you know, as you get a chance to do that. So tell me about your life now. Well, so in 91, I was 31. So I'm 64 as of January. And I go to a very I found this church.

I had been outlaws only locked up for a little while. So it was in 93. And I was driving up the road up Sardis Road. And I drove in the parking lot of Central Church of God at the corner of Randolph and Sardis.

Pastor Linniston as in Sunday was 47 years to the Sunday. And he preached his first sermon when they were in a different location. And I heard profound, convicting, truthful preaching. And then we have a really nice music ministry that I was they were fortunate enough to audition. And I was allowed in the choir back in 09. So I get to be there for two services in 830 and 1030.

We sing about four or five songs. And then Pastor speaks. So I'm very fortunate to have found a non compromising. Just a Bible preaching, a Bible preaching pastor who deviate from the word. Yeah, it's like God. God had you there.

Right. He caught you in the prison with the word. And then he he found a church, you know, where you could not only obviously, you know, be fed, but, you know, through music, you're able to, you know, if you spoke with earlier shared. And, you know, I start thinking about where am I? Where am I?

Where am I? Maybe being being disobedient and trying to trying to just say, let the grace cover that. And so I got a guy at the pulpit who really challenges us every week.

And I'm blessed to hear that because, you know, I think it. Oh, gosh, man, it's in Second Timothy, maybe 316, where the Bible and Holy Spirit expired, but it's for conviction and reproof and correction. And so God's word tells me what I should and shouldn't be doing. And I need to obey that. That's the best of my ability. Yeah. All word is all God breathes.

That's such a beautiful idea. I think it's Second Timothy through 316. Yeah. And the only reason I know that, I think I heard. I heard R.C. Sproul today on your station. So I listen to Truth Network all day long because I'm not into contemporary Christian music. It's cool. One of six nine was cool, but I like hearing preaching and teaching.

And they only have a two hours in the morning, two hours at night. So I got you guys and I got BBN ninety three point five. Oh, I love it.

Yes. It's got some old corny old timey music, but it's really cool. And then you've got some really good teachers and preachers on there. You know, they have conference pulpit.

Oh, they got they got one down today. So Donald Hubbard's always on an eight and nine is conference pulpit. Some of those guys have long since gone to be the Lord. But I hear I like to listen to men of men of God speak the word.

Guys who know the theology, who know the original Hebrew and the Greek, which, you know, that helps me comprehend, understand God's word even better. Yeah, that's wonderful, isn't it? Well, thank you, my friend. God bless you. I'm so appreciative of your listening to us and all those other places. God has you go.

And so it's those are all God God winks in so many different ways, Bill. So keep up the great work, my friend. And I'm sure we'll talk again.

I look forward to it, sir. God bless you. God bless you. Thanks. Bye bye.

All right. What's your story? We would love to hear it. Eight, six, six, three, four, eight, seven, eight, eight, four, eight, six, six, three, four truth.

And as I said, we would love, love, love to hear. You know, it may have been simplest something. You found your keys, right?

And if you were you were losing them, you were lost and looking all over the place and all of a sudden you thought, well, maybe I should pray. Or it could be something as profound as what we just heard from Bill or what we heard from Louise. You know, what's your story?

Eight, six, six, three, four, eight, seven, eight, eight, four. So not terribly long after the Leslie story, I got promoted. It was probably a couple of years later. Finally to get I went from, you know, being a sales manager to a general sales manager. And then I got to be a general manager of Crown Dodge and I kind of worked for that position all my life. And in 1991 was promoted to Crown Dodge and Greensboro. We moved there back again. We'd been living in Raleigh.

And interestingly, we did that right at the beginning of the Gulf War. And so, gracefully, the dealership went right into the ditch as soon as I took over and things started to go really, really bad. And guess what happened? I turned to prayer again. That same prayer, that listening prayer, we'll find out the results. But we need your story.

Eight, six, six, three, four, eight, seven, eight, eight, four, eight, six, six, three, four. Truth. We'll be right back. Truth Talk Live! You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live! Today is Testimony Tuesday to share your God nudge or your God story, maybe where you came to, you know, trusting in Him for your salvation or maybe it was just something He did yesterday that blew your mind, whatever that is.

I would love to hear it. I know that you could encourage who knows how many people by sharing, you know, your story where, you know, how you saw God at work. I mean, that's kind of what we get to do as Christians is to share our stories. And it says that you'll overcome by the word of your testimony, right? And so here's your chance to overcome.

Eight, six, six, three, four, eight, seven, eight, eight, four, eight, six, six, three, four, eight, seven, eight, eight, four. So right at the end of the last segment, I was talking about I'd finally gotten finally gotten this job as General Manager of Crown Dodge in Greensboro, North Carolina. And I was so excited. This was in 91. And man, I'm telling you, everything because of the Gulf War and some inventory problems, Chrysler, this wasn't some of their best years.

It sure wasn't. And we weren't selling any cars and we were supposed to sell about 100 cars a month by the 15th of October. I think we might have had two or three or six.

We had not enough to even count. And I was just thinking that, man, my job is on the line here. At the same time, I got a letter from Chrysler.

It said our customer satisfaction rating, which was on a 4.0 scale like school, you know, but ours was like 1.7 or 1.9. Whatever it was, it was a clear F. And I thought, man, I've worked my whole life to get here and now I'm done for. You know, this is the end. And so once again, I hate to admit this is when I decided to pray, but this is what I did.

I mean, it just wasn't part of my normal routine at this point in my life. And so I went out actually into a field to use the Dr. Redhead prayer and just try to hear that I talked about earlier in the show. And I listen, listen, listen, listen, I had crickets and I eventually fell asleep in the field. And my boss called, where are you?

You know, why aren't you at the store? And my wife was like, where are you? You know, everybody was looking for me and that didn't go good. And the next morning I was just bound and determined. I didn't have any answers. I needed God to tell me what I was doing, you know, what, what, what my life, why was, you know, what am I here for?

Obviously, this is a failure. And after just listening and listening and listening, he finally came and said words that actually changed not just my life. It changed my identity.

To this day is still kind of my, I don't know, it just, it just tells me what I'm doing. But what he actually said to me, which, you know, I knew I didn't come up with, it was too genius for me to think of. Because what he said was, Robbie, you know, when it's all said and done, it's not going to matter how many cars you sell.

And it's not going to matter, you know, what your customer satisfaction rating is. He said, the only thing that will really matter is how many people you really help. And he said the really with that kind of conviction, or maybe even more. So it got down to my soul, like, okay, we got to really help people. And so unbeknownst, you know, like people weren't using me calling the salesmen to a meeting on Saturday, and it was a Saturday morning. And I called this meeting and I got all those salesmen in there and I said, hey, guys, from now on, I don't want anybody to sell a car.

We're not going to sell cars anymore. That isn't what we're doing here. We're going to help people. And when somebody comes in here, you try to figure out how you can help them. If that means that they need to go buy a Nissan, take them over to the Nissan store. If that means you need to tell them don't buy a car, tell them don't buy a car.

If they need help with their credit, get them help with their credit. You figure out how to help that person that's sitting in front of you, and you help them figure out how to do it. And the same thing, I went back to the service department. I said, guys, we're not going to sell these people a bunch of stuff anymore. What we're going to do is, you know, how can we fix your car, what can we do that's going to really, really help this person, including if their car is fixed to break down as it leaves, you need to share that information.

But the idea of this is just you've got a customer in front of you, figure out how to help them, that's what you've got to do. From those words, right, God completely changed who I was and what I was doing, you know. And amazingly, yes, we were phenomenally successful.

The Dodge store outsold the Honda store, and that led to a great big promotion, all sorts of stuff that ended up with me owning my own dealership at one point in time. But even more than that is it led to me coming to Truth Broadcasting, because at the point in time God called me to do the Christian Car Guy show, I got to start helping a lot of people, right. And through the Jesus Labor Love, we got to help more and more, and God, through the different ministries that he's given me the ability to work with, you know, we get to help people, and it's still the same thing when it's all said and done. You know, it's how many people you really help. Well, if they find God in the—or they get deeper in their relationship with God, then you're really, really helping them.

I mean, what could be more fun than that? My friend Mike is in Dayton, Ohio. Mike, you're on Truth Talk Live, so glad you called. Well, thank you for taking my call. Sorry you called so late. My wife was doing some stuff with me, and I was listening the whole time, and I felt prompt to call you. And, you know, it's so cool that—you're welcome. God is protest—you know how he chooses—we pretend that we choose him, but he really chose us, you know what I mean?

Absolutely. And you can look through your whole life, and you're telling stories, and he just kept coming after you, you know what I mean? And he showed you this wife for Mary and my wife, and I can tell you a story about my wife. I was in the Marine Corps, and I met my wife in church, and I was staring at her, and she looked back.

And now she was protestant. You know how, over your life, you look back at God, and you can see that God was involved here, and God was involved there, and God was involved there. And you're able to be a witness to people, because you need to look back in your life and say, Thank God God was involved with my life.

And that's how you can reach people. If you're listening right now, you need to realize that God's chasing you. You're not deciding to go with God. God loves you more than you believe, you know what I mean? And if you're willing to just give up your life for him, he gave up his life for you.

And we need to keep reminding ourselves of that every day. Just along those lines, Mike, I've got to tell you before we run out of time. I understand.

No, no, no, no. I want to tell you, over the weekend, I got the most delightful email from a listener who heard you on the Christian Car Guys show talk about the seatbelts. Oh, wow.

And then she sent me just all sorts of—that really, really, really blessed her. Oh, awesome. That's awesome, isn't it? It is.

It is. And again, it's so amazing to me that, you know, I know it's hard to call in and talk to the radio, believe me. I'll never forget the first time I called in to Truth Talk Live. This was years before I ever got on the air.

I was terrified. So I know that this isn't something easy, but I'm so grateful for you doing it, Mike, because again, you really, really blessed that lady with that story. And again, it's just a matter of hearing from God and then being obedient, right? Yes, sir. And part of, obviously, you met your wife, but then you obeyed God in the way that you handled her heart and all that kind of stuff, right?

Right. And then she, you know, I mean, it was—you just realize that God is guiding your life if you let God guide it, you know what I mean? So, you know, even then when you're not letting God guide it, he's still chasing after you.

He loves you that much. You know what I mean? It's just amazing to me. It's called grace. It is so called—yes, sir. You know what I mean? I do know.

I couldn't know more. Well, that's what I love about you, Mike. You get it. I do get it. You know what I mean? And I'm trying to get it more and more into my heart, you know what I mean? And I love listening to you because I understand that you get it, you know what I mean? Right. There's a lot—yeah. It's about a relationship with God, you know what I mean? And I understand that.

That is so awesome. And that's the joy of having talk shows like this from my standpoint on The Truth Network. As more and more people call in, you know, the fire, you know, gets hotter. Because, you know, like when you put two pieces of wood together, you've got a chance at a fire, but when you try to just get that one coal, it doesn't work so good.

You put 20 pieces of wood together, you can have a bonfire. And there it is. As more and more people call in and more people testify, then there's more people sitting at home going, yeah, yeah, yeah, and you're building fire. I was blessed by all the callers that called in today, even though, you know, I was prompted to call in later today.

So the callers, please call in. I mean, I'm listening, and I'm getting blessed by your testimonies, you know what I mean? And it's pretty cool, you know what I mean? It really is. I love this show.

I mean, I try not to miss it. Well, I'm so glad, Mike. I'm so grateful for all you guys. And, man, I am always blessed by the stories, but it never ceases to amaze me, having done this for a number of years now, how God is working in so many different places in so many different ways. And then he's given us this radio to be able to highlight that so that more people can hear about it, because I've heard so many amazing things he's done. And just like you said, Mike, you could have said it better, he is chasing after all of us and chasing hard if we'll just stand and listen for a minute. And that's the hard part, isn't it, sir?

David could have said it more clear, wait on the Lord, wait, wait, yeah, but I'm expecting God at McDonald's, you know, or whatever. Don't wait a minute. What can I do? What can I do?

What do I need to do? No, let God do, you know? So it's so fun. It is, it is. Well, you have a great Tuesday evening, and go share your testimony, everybody out there today. Again, we're so grateful for you, Mike, and for all the people calling in today. And as soon as you think about the power of your testimony, you know, as you share yours, just like we talked about today, you know, more and more people, you know, they go, oh, yeah, that happened in my life.

And somebody else says, oh, yeah, that happened in my life. And so one story starts another fire, starts another fire, starts another fire. So God bless you all. You have a great evening, and we will talk to you again. Well, we got Stu coming on Wednesday in the Word tomorrow, and I'll be back Thursday. So stay tuned. A whole lot more Truth Talk Live coming up this week. God bless. Thanks, Mike.
