Are you paying attention? Are you paying attention to what's going on on college campuses across America and cities across America as well? Some very controversial views that we're witnessing in real time, whether it's blockading the Golden Gate Bridge or burning the American flag, burning the Israeli flag. Lots going on across America. That's topic number one.

And then something that some just kind of shy away from or they're just like, I just don't want to talk about that or turn a blind eye to it, bury their head in the sand. But we've got, man, we've got to talk about it. That's a combination of human trafficking, sex trafficking, the porn industry, which is a multi, multi-billion. I'm talking anywhere from, there's numbers are all over the map, from 97 billion dollar industry to well over 100 billion, 200 billion dollars or more. And America, again, America is considered the largest consumer of human trafficking. And an even bigger problem is online trafficking, online. I mean, it's at your fingertip.

Right. You know, whether it's an iPad, an iPhone or some other screen that you have access to viewing, it's just crazy what's happening in that world. And I'm reminded of the phrase, I heard of this phrase, the least of these, the least of these, whatever you do to the least of these and lots of scriptures on the least of these. And of course, children are important to Jesus, very important to Jesus. I'm just looking at some, Jesus sees the purity and honesty in children. Children are important. Children are important to Jesus. He cares about children's well-being and there's tons and tons of scriptures to back all this up. You know, Jesus modeled obedience for children.

Jesus values children. It's just kind of crazy what's happening here around America and around our world. Trafficking occurs when the weak, the poor, the vulnerable, in other words the least of these, are forced into exploitation and servitude. And there's some great, great organizations out there. No longer can we sit by the sidelines or sit up in the stands as a spectator. Christianity is not a spectator sport. There is participation here. I say it this way sometimes, that we are not, when we give our life to Christ, we haven't enlisted, we've enlisted in God's army, but we're not floating on a cruise ship.

Once we enlisted, we are on a battleship. We've got Bucksman up in Dayton, Ohio, who has some thoughts on these hot topics. Let me see what Bucksman has to say. Bucksman, are you there? I am. How are you, sir?

Hey, I'm doing well. Great to have you calling in from Dayton, Ohio, Bucksman. Thoughts, Bucksman? What can we do? How should we pray? What are your thoughts on these hot topics? That's an excellent question for all of your listeners, and I am actually doing things, Nikita, and I'll go ahead and share. First thing we need to do as Christians is we need to research.

We need to educate ourselves on what's going on. Second, we need to read James 1-22 over and over again, and that says this, Nikita. We do not merely listen to the word, and here's where we get stuck, Nikita, so deceiving ourselves. We've got to get out of that deception that we're going to church and we're not doing anything. James, Pastor James tells us to do what it says. Yeah, don't just be a hearer of the word, but be a doer of the word, and so get off your blessed assurance. The way I phrase that, Bucksman, is get off your blessed assurance.

It's not about just checking the box and, again, sitting on the sidelines or sitting up in the stands, but it's actually, if you want to say, getting in the game. Figure out, I like what you said, you've got to research, research and educate yourself on these different topics, and then ask the Lord, right, Bucksman? Hey, what's my part?

What's my part in this, right? Correct. That is exactly right, Nikita, and our God is a living God. He's not a God of the dead, so He will answer you. One thing that I know about this program, Truth Talk Live, is Stu Epperson should be given a trophy for bringing on guests that actually gives the listeners things to do. And that means, ladies and gentlemen, once Stu delivers the goods, what are you going to do with those goods? Are you just going to listen to your radio, turn it over to some Christian music, or are you going to do what Stu Nikita has presented? I mean, there's websites after websites that I hear on this program a lot, Nikita. I absolutely love it.

I love this program, and I can give you some myself. When it comes to child trafficking, we have to realize something, Nikita, that does not get talked about, but I talk about it in forums, in Christian forums. We need to address from the pulpits, Nikita, pedophilia as being a real malady among our church people. And if we call it out, if we call it out, Ephesians 5 tells us when we expose the darkness, two things are going to happen. The one who's dealing with pedophilia and wants to harm children will leave your church. He'll think, pastor, you're reading my mail.

So the children will be safe. He or she will leave your church. The second thing is the person who is struggling with it saying, Lord, I cannot stand this.

I'm attracted to kids. Help me. You need, pastor, to have a team ready for that man or woman or teenager to come and say, I want delivered from this, pastor.

Will you please help me? That's good. And I'm not kidding you. I cannot, I can't stress that enough, Nikita. These are things, these are the topics that we as the body of Christ, the strongest entity on the planet, need to start saying and doing. Otherwise, Satan will win.

He will win. More children, more children will be exploited. More children will be sought after here in Ohio, Nikita, Toledo, Ohio. And I'm all the way down south in Dayton. But Toledo, Toledo, Ohio, is one of the largest hubs for the entire United States for child sex trafficking. OK, so how do we stop that?

I don't know, other than we look at ourselves internally. Am I attracted to kids? I need to get help. Are my church people attracted to kids? We need to get them help. And the ones who does not want help, they will leave the fold. They will leave your church, Nikita.

I'm reminded of Jesus talking about you harming children. There's a number of different scriptures. You'd be better off to have a millstone tied around your neck and you thrown into the sea. We're talking about a city named in judgment thrown into the sea with a great millstone.

Well, I'll tell you one way you can educate yourself. A while back, there was a movie that I viewed in the theater actually called Sound of Freedom. Sound of Freedom. And it centers on the rescuing of children from trafficking. And it's one thing, too, to rescue them. Tim Tebow, Demi Tebow have an incredible foundation and are trying to tackle this hot topic as well. But then we need to take the next step.

We need to rescue them out of that situation, but then put them in a place, put them in a home, put them in a place where they can get educated, where they can get nurtured, taught about Jesus if they're not familiar with Jesus. I'm doing well. We got a couple minutes before break, Mike. Go ahead and share some insight on how we should pray for what's happening. Yeah, you know, God says pray without ceasing. And we should be praying for all these things.

The Israel, the Palestine, the flag, people in college. You know, we should, we continue, we should pray, you know, and I was real quickly, I was at Speedway getting my coffee and this lady, I, I meet every morning getting coffee and I, in my, in my heart, I said to her, you know, I, you know, this was intriguing to me. God said, uh, and, um, the, the happiness shoot, I'm sorry.

I'm a little nervous for somebody. It's all good. Take a deep breath. All good. All good. I appreciate that.

Thank you. Um, is the, the, the, the joy of the Lord is our strength. And for some reason, God put in my spirit, the joy of the Lord is our strength.

And I, and I said, boy, that's intriguing for us. And to me, how can we be so joyful when we hear all these bad things going on and the hope of the Lord is where we need to keep focused on as we're praying. Uh, you know, uh, you know, we know God's in control. We know God loves us. We know God takes care of us.

God has got a plan for it. If you read revelations, um, you know, the joy of the Lord is our, is our strength. And we, we continually focus our, our thoughts and our prayers towards God and our joy, uh, will, I will give us joy knowing that he's going to take care of these things. And we just bring them out to him.

You know, I mean, uh, we don't, we don't worry about them. We don't, we don't, we give it up to God. And then when you're in, when you're in the, in the storm, as Stu has taught in the past, we, we just want to give it up to God. We just want to say, God, I'm in this storm.

Please help me. And, uh, and don't always pray when you're in the storm. Pray all the time and God will bless you. That's good.

Pray, pray, pray, as you said, unceasingly. Right. And, uh, always communication with God.

Yes, sir. Always in communication with him. And, and, and certainly now take it just one step further as, as, uh, as Mike is sharing here to pray and to challenge all of us to pray is to, is to be able to, while we're praying, ask the Lord, Lord, Lord, give, give me a strategy. Give me a plan to show me what I can do. Cause, cause part of the question I've had for you today is what can we do and how should we pray?

Well, uh, you know, Mike's laid out, uh, you know, just some, some of the insight and ideas about, uh, about praying now. Real quickly. I want to interrupt you. Yeah. I'm sorry to do that.

We'll get, get that mailing address. But I want, for all of our listeners on the Old Testament side of things, when the Israelites were preparing for battle, which Patty gave us a great explanation in our modern day, right? We are all in a battle.

We're talking about some tough topics today. But Patty, when the Israelites were preparing for battle, what did God say should happen before the army left to fight? The answer is in Deuteronomy chapter 20 verses 2 through 4, that the priest must come and encourage the army.

Well, Jesus, our high priest, can encourage us each and every day. And as Patty mentioned, it is important to put on the full armor. Patty, thank you for calling it all the way from Indiana. Do you have some practical things we can do? Uh, certainly pray, pray, pray, pray. You know, Mike, Mike mentioned how, you know, sometimes you can get discouraged, right?

We're talking about some very hot topics. Sometimes you can get discouraged, uh, when you look around and see all that's happening, you know, from people burning flags to, to chanting death to America and everything else and, you know, the, the, the, the, the disgusting human sex trafficking porn industries, right? And, and I was looking up a scripture because I was thinking, you know, he mentioned the word joy and, and it made me think of the scripture in, in Hebrews chapter 12 where it talks about, you know, he's going to the cross, right? And it says, Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of God, uh, the throne of God. You know, one might ask the proverbial question, how, how did Jesus find joy in going to the cross? What was the joy? Because scripture says for the joy that was set before him, I mean, I'm looking at, I'm seeing a cross and I'm like, that doesn't seem very joyful, you know, in every depiction, uh, every historical account and depiction that I've researched, speaking of research and educate yourself, you know, Jesus was beaten beyond recognition, right? But yet it says the joy that was set before him.

And, uh, the, the answer to that trivia question is it was in his obedience. The father said, go endure the cross, despise the shame, and then you will sit down at my right hand. Um, and, and so, what, what are your thoughts on some of these topics today? Human trafficking, sex trafficking, the porn industry, the burning of flags, the chanting of death to America, what can we do? How should we pray?

Eight, six, six, three, four, eight, seven, eight, eight, four, eight, six, six, three, four, truth. What can you do? What's your role? What part can you play?

Listen, Christianity is not a spectator's sport, all right? Patty, who just called in a minute ago, said, man, we need to armor up. We need to put on the full armor. Hey, here you go, go educate yourself on what the full armor is.

Maybe you don't know, like, like legit. Like, you don't, man, I don't even know what the full armor of God is. Well, go read Ephesians chapter six. Go ahead and start in, in verse ten, and go all the way down to verse eighteen. Uh, and, uh, there, there are pieces of your armor that are defensive, and then there's some pieces of the armor that are offensive.

Okay? We need to go on offense, and we need to be on defense. We need both.

If you're a sports fan out there, you know, you need both offense and defense, right? And, uh, so I just want to get your thoughts here. How should we pray? What can we do?

She had a great suggestion. Put on the full armor of God. Uh, and then what is our role?

What part do we play? We got Chris, Dayton, Ohio, again. Dayton is on fire. Chris, Dayton, Ohio, how are you, Chris? I'm doing well. Thank you for what you do. Oh, man, appreciate you.

Appreciate you calling in. Chris, you have some suggestions, some thoughts, some ideas on what can we do to combat all this warfare we find we're in the midst of? Well, I think as far as the college campuses, we need to educate because the young people, they're playing footsie with something they don't quite understand, um, and the pro-Palestinian anti-Jewish rhetoric that they're spouting. They, they don't know who their bedfellows are.

And I think that if they were in certain countries, they'd probably get thrown off buildings because they're infidels. And so I think if we would explain to them Christianity and the value of Jesus and, and that the people that they're in with are not good people, uh, it might help just here domestically with, with our young people. Yeah, it's like, it's like, Chris, it's like, I call it the, the, you know, the laws of influence. It's the law of influence, right? Like you become like the five people you hang around the most and depending on who you're hanging around and what their point of view is, you know, if you hang around them long enough, you're essentially going to assimilate right into their point of view, right?

So I, I think that's great, great advice to, to do our best to try to educate these young people, uh, when, when, when over the years they're, they're getting more of an indoctrination, right, than they are an education. And, uh, man, I appreciate you calling in, Chris. I got, got another caller, John calling in from, from Kernersville, North Carolina.

Thank you. Answer on your question is, is we have to hold people accountable. You look at what's going on and, and with our elected officials, these guys are getting away with murder. They're, they're doing everything and they're not being held accountable. Look at the people that are on the campuses and they're, they're throwing these demonstrations against America where they're live and they're educated, hold them accountable, hold the people that run that school accountable. And it's, this is what we have to do.

Nobody's holding anybody accountable. So they just keep on doing what they're doing. Right. It's a, well, I am reminded, and I think the, you know, they did, they did hold, finally hold the president, I think of, of Harvard accountable. Right.

And to where she, you know, she finally resigned by holding her accountable to what she was allowing on the Harvard campus. Right. So that's great advice as to, yeah, to hold people. And you are correct. I 100% agree.

It seems like it kind of mind blowing how it seems like people get away with pardon, pardon the pun or pardon the term, murder. Right. In a sense. And, and, and nothing happens to them. They can do anything and everything and nothing happens. And so I agree with you.

Go call, call your local, you know, your, your, your local Congressman, your, your Congressman, your senators and, and your governors. And, and, and to John's, to John's advice, you know, the only way we're going to see change is by calling these people who make the laws or these people who, who are, are, you know, out there.
