This is the Truth Network. When in Henderson, North Carolina, everything stops, and there's one person you talk to. The pumpkin spice lattes are here. We're at a coffee shop in Henderson, and Dr. Abinash Shaw, one of the great thinkers, Christian thinkers of our day, author, theologian, pastor.
Seminary college professor, Doctor Shaw. It is an honor to sit down with you, brother. In your home turf, man. God is doing some things in Henderson, isn't He? Absolutely, God is God is blessing us beyond belief, and it's a joy always to connect with Stu Epperson and the Truth family.
You guys are amazing. Thank you for what you do for us and for the Kingdom of God.
Well, well, thank you. That's so kind. And we got some nice ambient noise. We got some interesting music. John, coming over the speaker here, right?
I don't know. We're not sure. I'll have to listen to your radio program, your daily show, to hear what this song is as you do your different, you know, musical deals, and then they may hear some beans grinding. But there's a lot happening in our culture, and you are a true. Bible teaching pastor, but not afraid to engage the issues.
We have socialism just banging on the door. It's like we want to go back to Cuba. We want to go to Venezuela. We want to go back to the Cold War. Young people are flocking to this.
We have Islam. We have openly Muslim candidates for Senate and Congress all over the country. A Muslim mayor in New York City. Of course, we want to reach Muslims with the gospel, but. There's a worldview thing going on here, Doctor Shaw, and you speak about this a lot on your show and from the pulpit.
But we we talk to our listeners about the importance of being aware of what's going on. Absolutely, you know, the further we get away from our biblical foundation, the harder it is for people to understand what a mess we're in. Talking about democratic socialism, I mean, it's on a march, and we as believers need to recognize the dangers inherent in this this ideology. Having grown up in that kind of world, I'll tell you, socialism is not what it promises to be. Look at every country, every nation that went in that direction; it destroyed it.
And socialism, at its heart, hates Christianity. Why? Because Christianity believes in the dignity of a human being. Christianity believes that Jesus came and died for us.
So, when you deal with an ideology that tries to just just remove that that that self worth that God has placed in us, of course, it it will not just go against money. People think when we talk about socialism and how terrible it is, only about money. No, it's about Faith—it's about faith in Jesus Christ. Talking about Islam, I mean, who would have thought? Like in 2026, right now, especially in the Western world, especially in America, that we would be talking about Muslim candidates.
And yet, it is happening. We as Christians need to know what is the foundation of our faith. Our foundation of our faith is God's Son Jesus gave His life a ransom for us. He paid. He paid with his blood for our forgiveness.
Islam does not have any forgiveness. There is no assurance. There is no ransom paid.
So we need to understand these issues so we can know where we need to stand up. There is no freedom of religion in Islam. I mean, but it's interesting that the the Islamic platform, much like the socialist platform, is promising everything. Promising, oh, life will be better. There will be more tolerance.
But once they get to achieve their goals of being elected, as we've seen in all these countries all over, you've seen it where you grew up, Doctor Shaw. It's anything but tolerance. It's anything but. I mean, when when the Sharia law starts going, then people are like, "Oh my soul, I had no idea." Well, what's your warning to people out there, buyer beware, but also to remember the freedoms that our country. Is founded upon.
Absolutely, this country works because it's built on that Judeo-Christian foundation, the biblical foundation, and and when people of socialist background or or or propaganda or Islamic propaganda, when they say, "Oh, whoa, yeah, we are tolerant," to the contrary, Christianity is the only true tolerant religion.
Okay, I know there are times in history people have done horrible things, but at its heart, we believe. Believe that everybody is free. Other religions don't. They're tolerant as long as Jesus is not the only way, truth, and life. And the moment you say He is the way to God, oh, now you guys have to go.
Christians have to go.
So all the Muslims that are actively campaigning for Palestine that are also actively supporting LGBTQ. What what would a what would how would an LGBTQ person be treated in Palestine, Doctor Shaw? Let's just be real here. It's the biggest lie. Behind closed doors, I think they laugh at us and they go, "How foolish these people are who actually believe that." Hardline Islamic or any Islamic people are okay with LGBTQ.
They're not. They're not. They will never be. Go to those countries and see how those people are treated. And absolutely, that's that's hypocrisy.
Yeah, go take that same sign promoting LGBTQ. Take it to Palestine. Take it Iran, and you'll last maybe 20 seconds before they cut your head off or they kill you. And yet they think that well, they think that having a Muslim candidate is a solution because, of course, the candidate. I guess in Islam you're allowed to lie, aren't you, if it advances the the religion?
Absolutely, absolutely. All is all is fair in in war, and and they will do whatever they can. And that's why I believe Christians. We are we are. Of peace, we believe in peace.
We want to live with peace and harmony with everybody. At the same time, we're not going to be gullible. We're going to wake up and realize that what's happening in America, what's happening in the Western world, is a takeover. And unless believers. Christians, Bible-believing Christians, wake up and realize that this is not a propaganda.
This is not just election year verbiage that we just we just talking political talk just to get and get some. No, our country is in danger. Unless we wake up, and of course we serve the King of Kings. We have heaven to look forward to. It's only going to get better for believers.
It's only going to get worse for unbelievers, which is why we need to share the gospel actively. Which is why I'm so grateful for your outreach, your heart for missions, your church out of your church. You're sending missionaries. You're you're spreading the God God's word all over the airwaves on the Truth Network, all kinds of places. We're so grateful.
All kinds of social media. Dr. Shaw, even though we don't put all of our eggs in the basket of politics, obviously you know people are going to vote the right way. People are going to vote for the right candidate, and they're still going to die. If they die without Christ, they're not going to have eternity.
I mean, they're going to spend eternity in hell.
So, you know, it's a it's not saying. Either or, it's really having Christ as a priority. Talk about having Christ as your priority in the balance, but yet your vote still counts. It's like a stewardship kind. I guess is that is that how you would put it?
Absolutely. You know what I'm talking about.
Socialism or that rise of Islamism in in the West. My father was a Muslim. My father was part of the communist party back in the fifties before before he became a Christian.
So, and he would tell me at the end of the day, somebody's values will reign supreme, and whoever is in power will control everybody else.
So we as Christians have to wake up and realize that someday, whose values do you want? And I tell Christians just vote biblical values. That's right, vote biblical values, and that's why your vote is important, and that's why. The candidate you're voting for, he may not promise you the world, but vote for someone that'll allow you to be free, to take more money home so you can give more money away, and not control everything. In socialism, Marxism, and Islam, the one thing they all have in common is they end up to be totalitarian.
They end up be is literally off with your head once they take control. You die. It's over. And your beliefs aren't even listened to. And the the LGBTU, whether whether it's someone in the homosexual movement, whether it's someone in the religious, you know, the far right Christian, you know, fundamentalist group, you are you are on the hit list because, and that's what's happened everywhere, imprisoning pastors in Russia.
To this day, in China, they're still doing it, persecuting you know Christians and whatnot. Hey, I want to give a shout out to your whole ministry. Your sidekick is right here; he's sipping on that pumpkin spice latte like there's no tomorrow. It's it's a great time of year. The weather kind of got a little cold on us, John.
Talk about what this program is all about, and talk about this this mighty man of God next to you, and how much fun it is to go and produce this show every day with Ryan and him and your whole team.
Well, I can tell you this: I've been working for Doctor Abaddon Shah for 13 years. A lot. Times it feels like my first day, and what I mean by that is there is always something new. There is a new energy; everything is new all the time. And you know, before I met Doctor Shaw, my life verse was and still is Revelation twenty-one five: "Behold, I make all things new." That was so important to me.
And even though we've been doing the show for three years now, every episode I'm learning new things. Right now, we're going through a series on Ephesians, and one of the things that Dr. Shaw has just recently preached about is this mystery of God. Paul says this great mystery, and what I mean, what what he means by that is there's so much depth to God. We, I think, as Christians in America, have painted a picture of God that, in a lot of ways, is correct.
There's salvation by grace through faith alone, and we're saving redemptive blood of Christ. Great, because I've accepted that I'm. Great. A lot of Christians are content to stop right there, and for a long time, I've been one of those Christians. Hearing Doctor Shaw preach on the mystery of God, these things that about God that not only we don't understand, we don't even know that they're there.
The Clearview Today show for me, even though I'm I'm co-hosting it with Doctor Shaw with Ryan, has taught me so much, and I think it's a really unique thing where one of the hosts is actively learning every single episode. That's that's why I love it so much. It's not because I get to talk on a microphone. It's not because I. Get to sit next to a mighty man of God, which I do, and all of those things are great.
But I'm learning every day. Into my 30s, well into my 40s, 50s, I'll be learning. Clearview Church, the Clearview Today Show is somewhere where I'm constantly becoming a better Christian, and I can't ask for anything better. Wow! Loud Coffee Shop in Henderson, North Carolina.
What's the website? How can folks connect with you? I know a lot of folks. I listen almost every day. I love the show.
There's always good questions, good things, and you good different perspectives. I may not like always agree spot on like with this you know particular secondary view, but then you're bringing in. The other side, and it's really it's really healthy. But what's the best way for folks to listen? We we are super into making things really really simple.

Real quick, Clearview. I mean, there's so much in that name, folks. This wasn't just the the name of the cul-de-sac that you happen to put the church on. Talk about the the name of this church and the importance of Clearview. You want to, John, and then I want Doctor Shaw to come give us a closing scripture.
Okay, absolutely.
So.
So clear view means just this: we want you to be able to see God clearly. Our motto is making Christ visible. There was a series that Dr. Shaw preached just very recently. Job in Job chapter nineteen and verse twenty-five, Job says, "For I know my redeemer lives, and at last I shall see him." And I think to me, even though I've heard that verse my entire life, making Christ visible became so much more real.
It was like even after 13 years at this church, my eyes were open.
So clear view. We want to help you guys see Christ. And one of the things I did want to say was, if you do visit abaddonshah.com, you're going to see a link to one of the best ways to stay in touch with us. It's the best radio station that I've ever heard in my life. It's the Truth Network.
You're going to like that. You're going to find it right there. You're going to find it right there, along with a ton of other programming. That app right now. I'm glad you told me about that, Doctor Shaw.
Get us out of here with a good scripture.
Something that's been on your heart lately.
Well, I mean, just just exactly what John said right there. I know my Redeemer lives, and to me, that is our hope, our confidence that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is alive today, and He gave His life for your sins, and He rose from the grave, and all you have to do is receive Him, be free.
