This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth news. I get hug! A daily program powered by the Truth Network.
This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. What a question we have for you today on Truth Talk Live.
If you could. Go back in a time machine and talk to your 18 your 16 year old self And give yourself some dating. advice like Look, look, when you go on this date, this is the stuff you need to do. This is stuff you don't need to do. If you could go back.
to talk to your Past self, or even maybe give advice to someone today that was that age. What might you say? 8663487884866348 7884. What would you tell? You're former, younger.
Self. that would be helpful. You know, when you talk about dating, you naturally think about date the word. Especially when you're with The doctor date the word Carson. It happens to be 9:14, which 9:14 And date the word speak is is somebody's 40th anniversary of their first date, Doc.
And it has to do with the Gibeonites, right? Yes, yes, we have several things that are happening on 914. Uh Obviously, the date, the word, there's Joshua 9:14 that is one of those challenging, challenging, challenging verses because it says, Then the men of Israel took.
some of their provisions But they did not ask counsel Of the Lord. They did not. Uh seek Direction from the Lord, and it's one of those great warnings. that uh we're supposed to acknowledge the Lord in all of our ways. And and then Today for me Is one of the most uh wonderful anniversaries of all because on 914.
1986, a Sunday. I took Danita Hershey out for the very first time. Uh, three days earlier, I believe it was, maybe four days earlier, I'd asked her out and she said yes. And so I got to go out with this wonderful young lady. Oh, my goodness.
And I have to tell everybody that there they were. In the Lynchburg area of Virginia, but Dr. Carson. took her to the heights. And it was absolutely go it was golden.
If if for the for the people living in Lynchburg listening to this, you should be able to figure that out, that I I left Lynchburg, crossed the James River, into Amherst County. I took her to Madison Heights And took her to the Golden Corral and That was one nice place back then, 40 years ago. It was going to be a good one. It was golden. And uh it had a buffet And uh I didn't know, you know, what she would like to eat, so she gets to choose whatever she wants to eat.
And do and do you remember, Doc, what you ate?
Well, I I remember having a salad and I remember having a little fish and some chicken and some beef because when you when you're a college student, you go to a buffet, you get a little bit of everything. And we had just come from church, so we were still dressed up. And then I had a meeting, a leadership meeting that I was part of a leadership team, so I had to go to that.
So we were dressed up nice. And we go to Golden Corral. And we got some start getting to know one another. That's beautiful. You know, again, the question for you is you're thinking about maybe your former self, maybe your first date with your spouse.
I remember it well. I certainly. Um Tammy and I went to the comedy club in Raleigh, North Carolina. And uh one of the reasons that I I remember very, very well, like She ordered a steak medium rare. And I was like...
Ka-ching. Yeah. 'Cause at the time I thought, well, if she eats steak, at least she won't try to get me to eat tofu. That's so. And so, you know, I was just like, man, look.
And she ate, I mean, it was, she liked steak. It was, and it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. And fascinatingly, it, it, it was 39 years ago on September the 5th. Uh nineteen eighty seven, nineteen eighty six, you beat me my year, Doc. Even though I'm a little bit older than you.
But anyway, how about you? What would you tell your former self? 866666666666 three four eight seven eight eight four eight six six three four truth I'm dying to hear these stories, Doc. I am. But the Gibeonites, they.
They pulled some shenanigans over Israel's, you know, and I don't know if you've been on one of those dates. One of those Gibeonite dates where the girl, you know, she had. Um Yeah. Put on different clothes and then yeah. As I was a campus past there at Liberty with six thousand students.
uh a little bit more th like thirty four hundred girls twenty six hundred guys Um, we did a lot of teaching on dating. And and one of the first things was you gotta always know that dating Yeah. designed to disguise. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Uh you don't like to uh show all of your warrants on the first date. And I had a couple of those where, on the first date, the girl told.
Now, you need to know this about me.
Well, that was the end of that Ever going out again. I had some dates after the first date that ended. And of course, like um with when I started dating like Now why is the needa? Uh on the second date I I kind of fast forward it. I've been a little fast is that I told her God called me to preach.
And she just needed to know she's gonna date me. I was gonna be a pastor, and I didn't know how that fit in her future thinking. And um I went so far, Robbie, that I did say this. Um I said if we do get married And you decide that you're going to try to change me from being a preacher. Uh God will kill you.
Yeah. Hehehehe Did you actually use those words? I did, and she's right here in the car with me, and she'll verify I scared the daylights out of her. 'Cause I I'm like I I d I'm I I was 25 at that time and I'm like there's no need of being beaten around the bush. Here's where I'm headed in life.
God's called me to be a pastor, and um. I'm not looking I wasn't looking for a pastor's wife, I was just looking for a wife. And uh but I did need her to know that's what I'm gonna be doing and I didn't know if I was gonna scare her away or not, but Uh we went out on the third date. But um You have to define the relationship every now and then. DTR.
Okay. I saw this was in a movie that Tammy and I were watching the other night. I think it's profound wisdom, and the more I've thought about it, the more I realize it's absolutely Jesus. But what they said was. These couple was dating and they were trying to figure out whether they should share their real feelings and that kind of thing.
And you know, the old mentor in the group said to the young lady, you You can't run off your real soulmate. And I thought Oh, honey, I couldn't run you off. But when you think about it, you can't run off Jesus. Right? You can put yourself in a horrible position, but he would he, you know, when you're ready to repent and whatever.
Your real soulmate, and I believe that, you know, and Tammy and I talked about this actually after we talked to you about this idea of this episode, that, you know. There was a lot of stuff we but when they when somebody really loves you when they really love you Right? And it isn't about the deceiving part, like what happened with Gibeon. What's your story? 866-348-8.
7884-866-348-7884. We're talking about date the word dating today on Truth Talk Live. We'll be right back. Truth taught lies. Welcome back to True Talk Live.
Today's question, and we would love your calls. is if you could go back. To your Young self, or to give advice to somebody about the whole prospect of dating, what advice might you give them? 866-348-568. 7884-866-348.
7884. Maybe you heard Doc and I talking about some of our first dates and a great memory came back to you that you feel like You would love to share with the audience, we would love to hear that too. Again, it's your show, it's why it's called Truth Talk Live, because it is live and we take calls. And we'd love to hear. stories, especially God stories, right?
So if you know think about How what we're talking about bore fruit and doc Doc's life, they had numerous children, one of which is a pastor and and and All sorts of servants of God in different ways. You can see that clearly God was in there, right? And uh It's a beautiful thing. But sometimes I'm sure you're on a date where, like the Gimme Knights, you were deceived. And I would love to hear that.
866-348-7884. Doc, would you believe that? When I lived in Albuquerque one time I asked this girl out to the company. Christmas party. And she gave me her address and She worked there at the dealership with me and When I got to her house You know, her boyfriend comes to the door.
She lives with this guy. What? Yeah. Yeah. Whoa, well this is Awkward.
Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, sometimes they're giving heights, you know, just saying then you're just not getting the whole scoop right off the bat.
However, that might work for or whatever you think, we would love your calls. 866-348-0838. Seven eight eight four You know it. There's treacherous waters out there, Doc. Yeah, I I don't think I ever had that experience.
Aye. I'm I'm I will say this now. Um Before I was saved, I need to be very clear with everybody. Before I was saved, Um I Uh I did ask a girl out while she was with her boyfriend. Oh, wow.
And And that was not the wisest thing on my part as I look back. But I also asked Anita out. after she had been asked out by another guy. Yeah, he asked her out. I wasn't, I was like, oh, no, what?
And then all of a sudden, I thought, you know what? All he did is ask her out for a date. I'm gonna do the same thing. She she had not married to him. She hadn't even gone out on a date.
So I asked her out and And she said Yes, to me. And you took her to the heights. It was golden. I swear. We got Jonathan in Florida.
So we got to hear from Jonathan. Jonathan, you're on Truth Talk Live. What do you got for us? Hi, yeah.
So, um I met my wife uh Let me say we gotta hear from Shorty. One second. What do you got? Yep.
So um We were in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I was a United States Marine. and uh down there on vacation and uh She was down there. She had been visiting her father and her brother. And we bumped into each other out in town.
And before we knew it, we hit it off instantly. And then Now they fell in love with each other right away. Um that that weekend uh we At the end of the weekend, we gave each other a a hug goodbye and there was a strong wind that came up and I could feel I didn't know it at the time, but I believe it was the Holy Spirit just passing through the two of us and letting us know that He was going to. to make his husband a wife. Not long after that uh He did.
We were married and our our first son was on the way, Brennan. We were married for seven years, and we went through a lot of spiritual exploration seeking the truth. We didn't think it was in Christ, but we were seeking the truth earnestly and openly. And we I remember us praying a prayer. We just asked God to show us what the truth about him was.
And not long after that I got uh orders up to To Buffalo, New York, and we found the Tuscarora Indian mission one night almost by accident. And we went in there, we were looking at. learn from from Indians about the truth and Uh the Holy Spirit said, Well, I've got some Indians who know the truth. And he he introduced us to them. And uh about nine months later after uh after attending church at the Tuscar Indian Mission for nine months.
Uh oh. We were both born again in the Spirit, and it happened to be on.
Sorry. It's okay. Yep.
happened to be on september eleventh of two thousand one Yeah. I don't think. And for me, it was about 2:10 in the morning. That morning was before the tower came down, and for my wife. I was after that the towers had come down, but we unbeknownst to each other, and then we both.
Went to church that night and I uh I told um our pastor Donald afterwards and He had rejoiced with me. I was going to go and give a great testimony about it, but obviously, by the time we got to church that night, there was much more.
solemn or tone and uh people were praying for the folks and in New York and um at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.
So we told him about it, and then afterwards, I told my wife about it, and she. She said, Well, you know, I gave my life to the Lord today, too. We had had a big fight the night before, and She was angry with me, and she said, you know, I was still angry with you, but I was glad that at least you came home. No, it's beautiful. No, it's beautiful.
And then after we were saved, we had another son. His name is Robert Jordan. And uh the Lord's used us In a lot of places to share the gospel and lead others to Christ as well since then. And he's led us all over the country and even all over the world. Uh used use our our uh nomadic lifestyle to To reach different people in different locations.
We've had an opportunity to share the gospel on the on the Crow Reservation in Montana. Also up on the uh Uh a Rocky Boy reservation up there in Montana as well. And Uh all over in the Republic of Georgia and That is so awesome. My wife is. One quarter Cho.
I said my wife is one quarter Choctaw, so we spend some time on some reservations too. That is awesome. That's really That's really wonderful. Yeah, we're we're gonna hit Uh I think we yeah, we we we have a quick de Discussion about it yesterday, but yeah, we're hitting 31 years this year.
So coming up in December. Thank you for calling in, Jonathan. That is a beautiful story. Absolutely wonderful. I was all around nine eleven too, so Wow.
So Yeah. Yeah, we just celebrated our spiritual birthday 25 years. Yep.
Spectacular. That is awesome. Well, thank you for your call. It warms my heart, Jonathan. God bless you, my friend.
Thank you for the opportunity to share our testimony. Oh, we love it. We love it. God bless. Have a great day and enjoy your anniversary.
It's pretty cool.
So I know that Bill was calling also, but we lost him. But Bill, if you want to call us back at 866-348-7884, we would love. Your testimony, right, of how you bet your spouse or your Of, you know, however that worked, or you might give yourself some advice. I know it sounds like Jonathan would. 866-348-6.
7884-866-348-7884. It's quite a story, right, Doc? It sure was. Um The old They didn't advise is number one, you got to always take the risk, guys. You gotta take the risk.
Uh they might say no to you. But you won't know unless you ask. And so the young guys always told them, just ask. I mean, what's the worst they could say? No.
Well, you didn't have a date in the first place, so you haven't lost anything. You didn't have, because you didn't ask. And so I'm going to ask you to call us 866-348-7884. Give us a call. We'd love to hear your story.
866-34-TRUTH. We'll be right back. Truth talk line. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today is 9.14.
which might connect you to Joshua 914. As you're thinking about that, it also connects Dr. Date Ord Carson. Oh, with his First date to his wife Danita, which was happening on 9:14. And so we're asking that question: if you could.
Go back, or maybe you've got some sweet memories of your first date with your wife. How about that might work out? We would love to hear your story. 866-348-638-3. 788486634 truth.
So Joshua 9:14, it says. In the King James version, which I kinda like. Because it sounds like they were on a date, because it says the men took their victuals. I'm pretty sure they got them from Golden Corral. No.
I don't know. The man did and asked now Council at the mouth. I love that it doesn't just say that they asked counsel. of the Lord. They ask at the mouth.
of the Lord, as if they expected him to talk. And his sheep hear his voice, right? And they didn't ask. I love what Jonathan said, that he felt the Holy Spirit come between he and his wife as they parted that first date. And he knew, right?
And I can assure you that there was no doubt. After Tammy and I's first date, that I kind of knew that, like, this is, this is, this is, this. Yeah. Destiny was kinda knocking on our door, you know?
Well, you you need to hear the Nita side of the second date. I would love to hear. Is she going to give it to her? Is she going to say it or say? No.
I will give it to you. Hi, Robbie. Hello, Danita. Yeah. Yeah.
telling me he was gonna be a preacher earnest. I didn't have, if I had a problem with that, tried to change him, God would kill me. But The ironic thing in all of that is I had Had a horrible summer. really tested my faith in in many ways and I'm Pretty much an in-control person, and what it all came down to is God. showed me that summer that I needed to let him be in charge of my life, not And I didn't need to give him any suggestions.
So when Dwayne said that, it was just like God saying, are you going to do it? Are you going to listen to me? Are you going to listen to me? And I'm like, really? You're you're you're testing me.
You're really testing me. But, uh, it it all worked out for good 'cause I never if you would have asked me at eighteen if I was Well if I was going to marry a pastor, the answer would have been No.
So but I, uh, I couldn't have gotten a better husband than the one I got, so It's beautiful. She said that on national radio. Yeah, I love it. I I really, really do. Your husband for me than the one I got.
But your choice of words, I just think Like, God will kill you. Like... Yeah. Well, and I was and I and and I've I As soon as I said that, I started thinking about it. And I just want everybody to know that Uh I have been dating a Another girl, obviously, about six months earlier.
She was the daughter of a pastor. And she was taking a lot of religious classes and And We, I just really thought she was perfect. I thought she was wonderful. She was the one. And she was the one, and as we got back from a date one night, she said, Hey, I need to I'll tell you something.
And she said I can't do it. And I'm like, you can't do what? She said, I can't be a pastor's wife.
Well, I'm gonna be a pastor.
So That ended that relationship.
So I think that's kind of while the follow-up question. The follow-up question has to be. Did she die? I mean No, no, no. She wasn't trying to get him to not be a pattern.
She just didn't want to be with him in the pattern. The good thing is. One of the great things, and I would want to say this to everybody who's out there dating, what I did. learned from her was She released my heart. to find that heart That would be my soulmate.
And she didn't throw the heart back at me. She didn't stomp it. She had and said, I can't, I'm not the one to hold your heart. I'm not the one to be your soulmate. And It you know, your your your ego is bruised a little bit, but as I went on with life, I realized I wasn't the right guy for her, and she would marry another uh this guy and and we both looked at each other one day And and and she said I could never be the wife to you that Danita's going to be.
And I told her, I could never be the husband to you that Mitch is going to be to you. And um You know, if you take that perspective in dating, you're looking for God's will. And if God's revealing it's not his will, then you need to release that person. to be able to find God's will somewhere else. And and that's what this uh young lady did for me.
That's quite the story. But I was a little bit more. And she lived to tell about it, just saying. We got Buskman in Ohio. And so we g we gotta hear from him, Doc.
So Bussman, you're you're on True Talk Live. Hey guys, it's awesome to be part of this forum. I'm gonna ask our young lady that's on the panel. Um how how do we well, this and this is for real. I mean, I know a lot of good, solid Christian men who are having a hard time.
Finding a godly wife, what I like to call the Rebecca. You know, Elie Azar sent out. Was sent out to find the the wife for Isaac. Yeah, I think it's a very good idea. And he was instructed by God that the one that gives him water and gives his animals water.
will be the one that God has chosen for Isaac.
So I'm wondering, young lady, how How do we get uh women young or old now who are single again might be through, you know, a hard divorce set. Had to happen or um Uh Lord forbid death. How do we, where are those women? I guess I'll get straight to the point. Where are those Rebecca?
And because the women that we run into They're very opinionating. They they want to be in control. Not very biblically literate will find out, and it's like this is incredible.
So, where are Steve Lebecke is my friend.
Well, first of all, thank you for calling me a young woman. I'm almost 60, so that made me very happy. In the eyes of the ancients of days, we are all but babes. Um, you know. I and I I feel you.
Um, I and I am a very opinionated woman myself. Um but I have learned over time when to temper those things. I I actually would say In your church? Look at who is working. In your church.
Who's volunteering for for the children's ministry? or working in the nursery or with women's ministries or you know, they're helping with the baptism. Um, you know, somebody that's Something that has a serving is really going to have more of a heart for God. And serving Just as part of that, and I think it also helps you. Two.
grow closer to the Lord even in your servings. I love that because that is the Rebecca deal serving, right? That's what she was doing. And that's the whole thing, yeah. And she did more than was expected.
When you start seeing someone out there serving, That just tells you everything you need to know about them. And my father-in-law. Uh toe my Son, his grandson. He was with them when they said now Kirk When you go to look to find a wife, You find her at church. You don't To ball games, sure.
You go to entertainment, sure. But you want to find a wife. Go to church. and find a wife. And so just what Danita said, Um You find you look for them serving, find them serving in different locations.
And uh That's where the godly women are. That's well said.
So, Bucksman, what do you think?
Well, I think that's an awesome answer there, Brother Robbie. And thank you, Anita, because I know even my son. Um he's showing tendencies of following the Lord. And in this day and age, guys, there's a lot of teaching. And and I'll yeah, and I'm okay with uh dear godly woman being opinionated.
But The what what breaks it is the um Biblical literacy. That's the phrase of the hour, I think. Biblical literate women who know what scripture requires. To be a godly woman, if we could get our, you know, I'm concerned about my son. uh just meeting a nice girl who might attend Church a couple of times say, Yes, I'm a Christian to my son.
And then he falls for her to find out that she's not really, she just. You know, went to church for a little while and then has her own opinions, and this is what we think Christianity should be. I mean, I ran into a woman the other day. Coolers. Called herself a pastor.
She says, Hey, Busman, I'm going to be preaching on Sunday. Would you like to come? And I kind of I kind of winced. Because I know um what the scripture says about women being in in pastoral roles. And but she she's looking for a husband.
And she posts on Facebook regularly.
So here's a pastor. Uh dear Anita and gentlemen. Um That says, I know the way of finding a godly husband when she's in error. of the word herself. But nobody questions her.
Anita. Nobody says anything to her. You know, they don't want to make waves or they're afraid to To tell her the truth, if they know the truth.
So it's really hard to find a true biblical Rebecca, my friend. And I love what you said about. Um, the servants. The women that are serving.
Now, make sure, gentlemen, out there that's listening to Truth talk, that she does not have a ring on her left finger. before you go and ask her out to Dr. Carson's baseball game.
So make sure. That was a good question. I love this conversation. We had a we had a discussion early in our relationship. Dwayne and I that A body With No heads is dead.
But a body with two heads is a monster. Wow.
So In in marriage there can be there can only be And while Dwayne values my opinion, I do defer to him as I love it. We got to go to a break. I'm coming back. It's Money Monday. You don't want to miss that.
We'll be right back. Mm-hmm. Welcome back to True Talk Live. It is money. Monday, and so I'm excited, as I'm sure you are, to hear from David Fisher today.
His scripture is Hebrews 11:1. Which is now faith is confidence, and what we hope for, and assurance about what we do not see. And so, David, welcome. Thanks for having me, Robbie, and thanks for filling in for Stu. Always my pleasure by all means.
And so That that scripture is loaded, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. people that are hearing your voice, my voice and Stu's every day of the week. Uh there's probably a vast number of people that at some point or even right now Maybe are at a crossroads.
Maybe maybe they need to find a new job. Maybe they're in a They're looking for that relationship because the previous caller was talking about finding your spouse. Maybe it's a health challenge. Whatever it is, it's the future that they're looking at. how they might be looking at it.
is an uncertainty, but how God looks at it. is certainty. And so he wants us to move into his realm Robbie, and because that's where the truth is, and faith isn't a passive thing. It's a confident and thing with purpose and trust in God. Reminds me of a personal thing that happened to me.
in twenty nineteen. I checked myself into the hospital, wasn't feeling very good. only to stay there for eleven days. And on the tenth day, six doctors told me You have three months to a year to live. Uh go home, get your financial uh orders in financial papers in order.
And obviously that was a shock to my wife and I. There was no cure for what I had. Um But I had my boohoo moment for a few minutes. And then I prayed earnestly and I said, I'm not afraid of dying, Lord. But I believe By face.
that my time is not up yet, that you got more things that you've called me to do for your work, for your kingdom and for your purposes. But that's your will. But I'm going to believe for that even though I don't see it in all the doctors' evidence and hospital evidence and medical science that is different.
Well, today I can obviously am uh live, uh but I had a full miraculous recovery. through the Lord and medical science. But I don't know if it would have happened to the extent If we didn't have to do our part and have faith In not ourselves, Not in what we hope for necessarily, but although we should believe for that. But we should believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. That's who does the miracles.
So when we involve our faith, it actually grows and God's abundance of his love comes in and meets and matches us and Uh I think if we do the possible, he does the impossible.
So Whatever you're facing today. Put your trust and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Have faith that He has an answer, an outcome, and plans for welfare, future, and a hope. Oh, I love that. I r I really do.
I was thinking about it this weekend that You know, so many people didn't believe him.
Okay. And still don't believe him. And, you know, there weren't a whole lot of people Easter morning sitting there waiting at the tomb. You know, gee, he said he was coming back. He should be here any minute now.
But unfortunately, you know. And so. You know, that faith is what you're talking about. And You know, to transition into, you know, what's going on with our money, faith plays a big part in capital markets, right?
Well, yeah, you know, there's nothing backing our currency. It's the faith in the ability that it's worth something. And the unfortunate thing is The factual side of our currency is It's devaluing. And there was a poll that was just done here recently. by the Federal Reserve, the New York Federal Reserve, and it showed that households' expenses are growing more than what their wages are.
And thirteen percent Of the respondents in this survey said that they might not even be able to make their minimum payments in the next three months. payment they might miss. goes alongside of another survey that was Done out of the University of Michigan, a consumer survey that sh uh says. That most people expect prices are going to go higher in the next year. rather than lower.
And so there's this belief, unfortunately, in the current environment that uh things don't look so rosy. In fact, the person that was in charge of the survey Robbie, her name is Joanne Hoose. And uh she says The survey shows that people are continuing worrying about inflation that will remain elevated for the foreseeable future. Uh and they're saying that uh This is not a Democratic or Republican survey. It's all all for all political groups.
And, you know, ironically, when that came out last week. Another report came out from the government. We've been talking about this. I think, in fact, you and I talked about a Treasury report while another one just came out. uh last week, last Friday.
And it tells us that we're not going the right way to get our Dead under control. It confirmed that we're 11 months into the year because the the government's calendar starts uh on october first. Uh and we're Near $2 trillion in debt, and the interest payment on our debt is the highest it's ever been. It's at $1.4 trillion. It's up twelve percent from a year ago.
And so How do we trust the Lord in this type of environment financially? That's the question.
Well, again, faith is we can believe for it to be better Just like I could have believed to be better when six doctors told me that I should. uh get my financial affairs in order but and I I didn't do that. Because if I did that, that would have said I don't really believe that God can heal me or bring about healing in my life.
So what did I do? The opposite. I went to find some more doctors. I went to find a doctor. that would analyze my situation and say, hey, I can fix you with the help of the Lord.
And that's exactly what happened.
So with our money, instead of just saying I hope it's better, I believe it will be better, eventually.
Well, it's also a call to us to act. Maybe don't put as much money, one hundred percent of your money in stocks if the stock market might correct. Don't put one hundred percent of your money in treasuries if treasuries are going to continue to go down. Maybe diversify into gold and silver a little bit. Get your money protected as stocks and the dollar goes down, gold and silver goes up.
It calls action today and that's really the walk of the Christian in it happens in our money too. Right, and I, you know, I'm looking at these free papers that are available at landmarkgold.com, right? It says BRICS, the new financial system that could dethrone the U.S. dollar as a global reserve currency. And there's a matter of faith, too, when you think about that.
What it what is bricks? BRICS stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. It's a movement that's bigger than. 50% of the world in population and close to 50% in the world of revenue. And they it's not like they hate the United States.
They want to use their own currencies to trade amongst their own countries. Because if the dollar is not in the middle of that, they save money, somewhere between three percent to five percent, and then they also support their own local currency.
So they have a had a taste this movement of bricks has had a taste And how to buy and sell oil and other commodities and goods and services. Outside of using the dollar, And they actually benefit. by doing that. Unfortunately, we as a country, we don't benefit. And so there's this movement that's growing that they want to use their currencies rather than the dollar.
And bricks is a movement of that such.
So it could dethrone the dollar as saying that's not the only way to make payment. on transactions between countries And That's the thing that has grown substantially In the last five years, the BRICS movement And unfortunately, that's when we've seen the last five years the most amount of spending on our country. We've seen the biggest devaluation of the currency. and gold and silver has more than doubled in that period of time the last five years.
So that's the correlation. It Bricks is not going away. Just like if everyone hearing my voice, if you had your own country You would want to use your own currency to make purchases in. And that's a normal human relationship.
so therefore bricks is not going away. And that's why we will continue to see A massive rally in gold and silver because the world is choosing not to use one hundred percent of the time. A US dollar in a transaction, they're choosing to use their currency, and as time goes on, they're going to use more of their currency. What that does for the dollar, it causes the dollar to go down. And while the dollar is going down, we're spending more money.
which perpetuates the snowball That's why we're in a massive rally in gold.
