And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Good afternoon, guys. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. We have a Show scheduled for you today where we're going to talk about Revelation.

However, we are going to have to pivot a little bit and make an adjustment. We are going to be waiting on our guest.

So, in the meantime, call in with your questions and comments. We're going to pivot into What is your core belief on God? What is your anchor? For for me, my anchor is the empty tomb. Another anch anchor is what David speaks and said over at Centergrove is the Twelve Apostles.

There. their walk and what they went through. And how they never gave up their faith, their eyewitness testimony. Another one could be creation itself.

So, what is your core value? How does it get you through the day, through life? 866. 348-7884. Again, that is 866.

So Why the the the two topics topics today?

Well, the original topic was going to be Revelation and a Course on Revelation. This is going to be, from my understanding, like a five-day course over there at Curtisville Baptist Church, from my understanding. And the reason why we're going to be talking about that or why we had that scheduled Was to get people ready for the end times. I know people have talked about how they feel the end times coming, how They are just looking at current events. The wars and rumors of wars, brother against brother, all the just random acts of violence, and how this is a sign of the end times.

Um So If people are looking at despair coming. They're they're they're seeing woe. They're seeing pain. But we as Christians, we are to be hopeful, but we don't deny what's going on.

So if people are seeing a lot of destruction going on, we want to get them prepared for what is to come. And for what is to come is revelation. When God remakes a new heaven and a new earth. and for the non-believer, for the atheist. um even for somebody of another faith.

What their question would be is: well, we just fade the black and You know, that's it. It's annihilation, or what is called now annihilationism. There's nothing going on.

Well, uh even if that is the case you know, you could say that's a 50-50 toss-up. You know, 50% chance of nothing happening, 50% chance of something happening.

Well, as somebody said, To make that kind of gamble on eternity, that's a serious gamble, and I wouldn't want to gamble on that. But um We do have a caller calling in, so we will go to the caller, and that's going to be Kevin out of Florida. Kevin, thank you for calling. What's on your mind, sir? I appreciate you taking the call.

Thank you so much. I grew up in a background of physics. Like, that was my major, was physics. I was around so many people of science that You know, often my faith was challenged multiple times in high school and especially in college. And um it was when I started studying astronomy.

that God became more and more apparent. In my life. And then, when I started realizing that all of these fundamental laws. that we have for physics are simply descriptions are things that we see. That began to solidify my faith in a creator that some kind of engineered design had to be created.

before anything. Before anything happened, right? And now, all of these laws that people use. you know to uh to to secularly prove Um A like an evolutionary design, or something. A lot of people are missing the fact that.

These laws are just descriptions. They don't tell you how things work. That was a big solid piece of um of my life and my faith in God. That Honestly, in energy, energy was one of those things that Yeah, for sure. You know, it can't be created.

It di it's not destroyed, it just gets transferred.

Well, It it had to start somewhere. And so I just wanted to chime in and tell you that It was like looking at the stars and then realizing. Every law that we use is just a description, and that's it. Yeah, exactly. And just hang on for a second, Kevin, because you're kind of in my wheelhouse right now.

Please tell me again what your background is. Yeah, sure. My major was physics, so my bachelor's of science was physics. And um I have uh studied extensively Newtonian physics. um astronomy, uh a little bit of nuclear.

didn't get a lot into like theoretical.

So I dabble in theoretical. I'm more like an amateur. you know, theoretical physics guy, but I teach I teach high school science. Um And I've taught college-level courses as well. And uh And that's it.

Like w every ti every year that I start my classes, We start in Genesis 1.1. And it's And everything in our classes points right back to time, space. and matter and energy. You know, so those are all like, you know, those are basically the pillars of our science. courses that we have.

And oftentimes, and maybe you've experienced this too, You know, oftentimes when you go to a we used to call it Sunday school, now kids don't even know what that means, but But we call it Sunday school. And with all due respect, and wonderful Sunday school teachers that I had, the people that loved and poured into me, it was just like it was really corny, you know. And I mean that with just with the greatest amount of respect that I possibly can. Um but there was just no connection. To what I saw, the observable universe that I see, and just the immense.

Like, you know, just see Like the expansion of all of it. And so everything was, you know, well, because God says so.

Well, it says this. And I'm like, well, hang on a second. Like, You know, we're created beings, like, we're created and designed for this curiosity. Amen. Let's explore what that is.

And. That's the path that we take. in our course is all rooted on time, space, matter and energy simply specified in Genesis one, one. There you go. And that is something that has drawn me closer to to God because I tried to call myself an evidence based guy, somebody that followed the The evidence, so to speak, and um wanted to fill myself with all kinds of knowledge.

Well, the more I dug, the more it went back to the Bible, the more it went back to creationism, not evolution. And here's something that the evolutionists Well, some of 'em. Um what they don't really talk about. Darwin himself, Said that he came to a wall to where his theories didn't really explain everything.

So if Darwin himself came to a wall, Then one would have to think that they would explore other avenues that would explain everything. And I'm not sitting here saying that creationism explains everything because. You can debate about everything. To me, I think it does. But I can't answer all the questions.

I just think that, as Lee Stroblast said, there is a preponderance of evidence that points towards creation. From everything that is in this existence, from humans to the stars to the very fabric of space and time, the fundamental laws of nature, it all goes back to a creator. You cannot have creation without a creator.

So let me ask you this, Kevin. Can you stay on for a little while? Because we're having to kind of ad-lib at the moment. You know, that's the beauty of live radio.

So you seem very qualified and you seem to. Kind of be what we're looking for as a guest, somebody that can talk about intelligent matters, but bring it back to Christ. Can you stay on for a little while? Is that all right? Absolutely.

We were talking to Kevin out of Florida, and Kevin is really in my wheelhouse with a Utonian. uh studies and All the science and all that, and bringing it back to Christ.

Kevin, before we can continue, do you mind if you give the producer your number? Because I would like to get you back on one of these days. Absolutely, I would not mind at all. All right, good deal. So, Nick, if you could get Kevin's information to record it so we can keep up with him.

But. We are going to Have an Kevin, hold on for one second. We're going to get back to Kevin. We have a Mike Zwick calling in. And Mike's with.

How are you doing today? Hey, I'm doing fine, brother. Thank you for calling in. What's on your mind?

Well, you had told me about the book of Revelation, so. I didn't know where, you know, where well, I probably knew where Greg was going with it. I know where. where he stands, but um Yeah, he's a good Greg's a good guy. We had some good conversations last week and You know, I believe he believes in the what is it, the pre-trib rapture.

So And uh he believes that we're going to be out uh before Before it gets bad, but I I I've got a sneaky feeling we might be around for a while.

So yeah, yeah. And one thing that Kind of gets me about Revelation is how it's going to be totally different than. the little tribulations that we're seeing right now. We're talking about the skies getting dark. We're talking about hellfire and brimstone coming down.

We're talking about tribulation and pain. That we have not experienced.

So, when people say, Oh, we're going through the tribulation right now, I don't doubt that because I don't have enough information to counteract that. But from what I'm reading in Revelation about hellfire and brimstone, about the skies getting dark, about all these kind of wars, to where you're not going to go about your daily life, where Christians, believers, are not going to be able to buy and sell goods. I don't see that right now.

So I think that Again, as I said earlier, we're going to have to be ready. For something that we've never seen before.

So Mike, um, can you talk on how you would prepare somebody for the revelation to come.

Well, you know, first of all, you said something about there's people who say that we're in the tribulation right now. 2 Thessalonians 2.8, it says, And then shall that wicked one be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth. And uh she'll come And I'm look I think I've got another uh verse and I'm I'm Let's see them. And think of 2 Thessalonians 2.3. It says don't let anybody say that that day has arrived.

Until the wicked one, the man of lawlessness, has been revealed.

So when people say that we're in the tribulation right now, My for it, yeah, 2 Thessalonians 2.3, it says, Let no man deceive you. uh by any means, for that day shall not come unless they're coming a falling away first. And that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition.

So when people say we're in the tribulation, I'm looking around and I'm saying, well, who is the Antichrist? Right. Right. And you said that was uh Thessalonians, Mike? I'm looking at it right now.

It's Second Thessalonians 2. Versus three. Yeah. Right. And it said, very key point there.

Let nobody be deceived about what's going to happen.

So it's saying this is not going to be avoidable. And also that you can't really hide it from you can't really spin it. This is going to be something that is undeniable. Even if you want to look at it from a science standpoint, scientists say in about a billion years or so, the sun's going to go supernova. We're going to die in a fiery explosion.

Well, doesn't that kind of sound a little bit like revelation? Where he will not, he, as in God, will not destroy the earth by water, but he will destroy it by fire.

So whether you look at it from a secular scientific standpoint or from a Christian standpoint, we're not going to be here forever. The universe is not static. The universe has a beginning point.

So if it has a beginning point, that means it has an ending point. No matter how you slice it, we are going to be gone one way or another. And as I said before, you have a 50-50-50, excuse me, you have a 50-50 shot. On whether you're right or whether you're wrong. And when you're betting in eternity, I'd rather go for the Christian way rather than the.

atheist way 'cause uh if the atheists are wrong You're looking at a long time of torment, looking at a long time of second-guessing and shoulda, coulda, woulda, that type of thing. But if the Christians are right and you give your life to Christ, you prepare for revelation, well, you will go through the revelation and be better on the other side, and you'll be in heaven, you know, blissful. Eternity with Jesus Christ. I'd rather put my money on that, where also the evidence points towards. But Mike, I'm not sure if you want to hold on.

Okay. Okay. We're going to go back to Kevin. I want to talk to him real quick before we let him go. Kevin, thank you for calling in once again.

For those that don't know, explain the Newtonian studies. Explain that for the audience and for me as well, because I'm not fully sure what that means. I know that's one of the things that is very deep. Uh topic. Sure, Newtonian physics, we just, you know, in the world of physics, we got.

So many different fields, right? You got, you know, stellar physics, you got nuclear, you got. Astro, you got all kinds of stuff. The way we word Newtonian physics. is mostly things about motion and force.

So you know you're taking nudes three laws. and the physics that follows behind those. Um so you know forest mass acceleration Um motion and staying in motion and then uh the law of inertia.

So It sticks with a lot of those things. I like to call it Newtonian physics, and a lot of other people do because it's. It's physics that you can see. Really. And that's kind of you know, the coined Newtonian physics.

And you obviously, you know, Newton, one of the one. classically trained. Scientists and often quoted Which is so crazy, often quoted by secular, even atheists. Scientists, and I'm like, you guys chose the wrong person. to quote, I mean, this you know, this guy is coming out here saying Um You know, Isaac Newton is coming out saying, well, no, no, this this is impossible.

This this couldn't have just happened spontaneously. He points to a creation and a designer. Again, classically trained Scientists and uh applies it classically to you know, to all of these facets of the uni i it's and it goes beyond the Earth's atmosphere. It goes beyond the earth it goes beyond the moon. It it it does.

And and I gotta jump in, Kevin. We're about a minute out. But uh did you give your information to the producer? I did, yeah.

And man, I tell you what, the time is near indeed. And I think that we see many signs. We see the writing on the wall. We don't know the day nor the hour, but we know that the Lord Himself has said that the time is near, just like it said here in Revelation 1:3.

Well, ho h hold on, hold on. You have to tell me, is this Brandon Hyatt? Yes, it is. Ah, yeah, man. I recognize the voice.

I'm glad you're calling in. How are you doing, brother? Man, uh, well I'm off. I appreciate everybody calling, even the message right before you came on. Yeah.

Blessings to everybody, man. But To get right to the point, yeah. Uh, yes, last week, man, I finally. broke through that demonic oppression that I've been battling for nine years now. And um Month uh you know, basically like Elijah ran.

Um You know The Lord said came to me and told me some things and I've seen some things I've never seen before. I've had the Holy Spirit on me like I've never seen before. And he is absolutely waged war on me. I'm there in the light everywhere I go. I'm out here in the trenches.

But one thing That is really Broke me back down to a babe with milk, you know. through this process the last two weeks. And I don't he's He's going to allow me to tell the full testimony soon. But. But one thing that really I even tried to contact Reddick over the weekend, but I heard something that I'd never heard before.

Um yeah. Feeling what? I thought, you know, I've known my whole life the Lord speaking to me someone enlightened me that That might not be the spirit of the Lord. And And you know uh I had my words being twisted and I was basically presented, you know, with some people that I would consider I was discipling, they were discipling me. Iron sharpens iron kind of thing.

But when they presented this to me, I was left with, you know, uh abomination or abomination. You know what the Lord told me versus what people are telling me. And it was really all because they didn't like what I had to say and what I saw. Um I'm just being bold for Jesus. Jamal, you know me.

We had prayed a lot about me being able to. bite my tongue, man. And The Lord told me flat out. that the next thing I needed to do was tame my tongue. And then he worked on a Clear my mind, and then he would clear my body.

And um And then everything else has been just a whirlwind of free will test after test that. keeps happening and um I'm making the right decisions and And I'm sure you are. And one of the right decisions, just to jump in for the sake of time, one of the right decisions is to call in. respect you for calling in. Because all the people that are listening in, nationwide and probably international, they need to hear that men, people can't be vulnerable.

They need to know that we should lean on Each other as Christians. I'm wearing a shirt right now that says Proverbs 22. It's from an organization to wear. Uh we have done prison ministry. And those fathers have leaned on us to connect them back with their kids.

And through their being. Open and honest about their struggles and wanted to reconnect with people to have that connection. We've allowed that connection to happen. But if they would never open up saying, I want to connect with my kids, I don't want any part of you all. I'm good.

I'm going to handle my issues on my own. They can never receive the help that we could give to them.

So It's Proverbs 22, and as it says in Proverbs, iron sharpens iron.

So we have to lean on each other, we have to sharpen each other. And by you calling in, hopefully you will inspire other people to open up about their issues so they can get the help that they need. Whether that be just a listening ear or getting into a Bible study to where you get around some kind of community on a regular basis, I'm a part of. Um, about half a dozen or so Bible studies. There's one going on right now at the Richard Children's Racing Museum, and I love that one.

That's the one where we can open up, so we have to. Open up about our struggles and be real and let Christ come in. And just to end it with this quote right here, and we're talking about Revelation. This is a quote from Revelation. And it says, And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more.

Neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore. The first things are passed away.

So, Brandon, I'm praying for you, brother. Hopefully, I'll see you at Wednesday in the Word or another Bible study. But thank you for calling in, brother. You'll see me in the morning, and he is greater. Love you, brother.

Absolutely. I gotta say right out, I'm not a dispensationalist. I was for a long time. In my walk with Jesus, Jamal.

So I don't know how many it's going to sound like me that come on the truth talk, but I hope that they will. But I've really scholared in the word about eschatology. And for a long time, I taught. Pre-tribulation rapture. Oh, okay.

Simply because, and the reason was, Jamal, was because I didn't read the Bible all. for all but I only read the the separate Nike letters. Corinthians, Daniel, in just so snippet forms, Revelation, in the snippet forms. And I just believed everybody. Was telling me the truth, Jamal.

And then I opened up God's word thanks to a man, and I'm sitting right next to him by the way, a scholarly man by the name of Mark. And he's sitting with me right now. He can't hear the conversation, but he can hear my side. And another great Bible teacher of 50 plus years, and it opened up my eyes. I was like, oh, wow, Busman, this is.

On roll. I'm wrong. And I told both of these men tomorrow: I said, I need to hear it from God Himself. I need to hear it from the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Um, if what Brother Mark and Brother Steve was telling me.

about the rapture timing. And Here's what I come up with, brother. I'm going to read it straight out of God's word. It's in John 7. Yeah, go ahead, and just to jump in, you have about a minute before the music comes on.

I won't even need that much.

Okay, all right. Yeah, and I'm reading out the Authorized King James. But I trust the other translations as well, ESV, all the others. But this just happened to be the copy of the word that I got.

So starting in verse 15. demolish this It says John seventeen, fifteen, I pray not. That thou shouldest take them out of the water.

What better time, Pastor Noah? I mean, everyone talks about the signs of the times. Why not have a revelation course to bring into light the rich Christology and the rich eschatology that's in that book that we need to be talking about, huh? Amen, amen, amen, amen. Hey, I think we look around today and we see that we need a Savior, amen.

And I think that when we look to the book of Revelation, we're going to see very clearly that our Savior has come and the King Our Savior King is coming again. And we're seeing so many signs of the times. That the end is nigh. The king is coming. Amen.

Amen. But my question is not whether or not he is coming. My question is: are you ready? Like our brother Brandon, I believe, who was just on the line, he's experiencing. Breakthrough.

He has experienced release from demonic oppression. That's right. And the reality is that Satan does not want us to know. that we're waging war against him. And so he's trying to hide.

Behind Diagnoses that are clinical. He's trying to hide behind these worldly diagnosis. Sees, is that a word? Yeah, yeah, we're gonna use he's trying to hide, but. But I tell you what, God's word is very clear.

We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness. Come on, best. Against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. And when we study the book of Revelation, We're pulling back the veil to see life as it really is, to see reality as it really is. We are not waging war against.

These clinical conditions. That's not all there is to it. There are demonic, diminutive powers that are seeking to oppress us, to destroy us, because they want us to be smoked by the wrath of God. And so if we do not turn to and trust in Christ, We're going to remain under the wrath of God. We will perish under the wrath of God.

We will be smote by the wrath of God. But are we going to receive the glorious gospel truth while there's still time?

So why study the book of Revelation to pull back the veil of what reality really is? Amen. That's exactly right. And, like it says in the Bible, if you don't believe in a rapture, then what's left? Eat, drink, and be merry.

Yes. Yes, sir.

So if you can go real quick and we can get back to Pastor Nova. All right, thank you. Yep, I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world. That's what Jesus asked his fathers in the law to not take them out of the world. Let me jump to verse 20.

He says, Neither pray I for these alone. But for them also which shall believe on me. through the twelve disciples. Word.

So when I heard that, When I heard Jesus say to his father, don't take him out of the world. That's what I knew. because it comes straight from Jesus' mouth in my ears. That's when I knew. uh there is not a a pre-tribulation rapture.

But there will be, you know, hardship until he comes on what the Lord calls the great and final. And so, yeah, I would say this to that, and I appreciate that. I appreciate your perspective, Bucksman. Let me say this. Um Regardless of what you believe on the timeline of the rapture, there is going to be hardship.

Yes. I mean, you know, Paul said it in Timothy 3. He said, all those who live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer. Persecution.

So I would say this course is important for someone who is. Pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib. I would say this, I would say, and Noah, I think you'd agree, this course is important for someone who is pre-mil. Or Amil, or I'm not there, but I'm going to tell you because what's going to happen is you're going to go through a book of the Bible verse by verse.

So, you're going to get the historical, you're going to get the textual, you're going to get the exegetical. And so, that's important. Yeah, so Noah, don't you think, wouldn't you concur that, hey, come in and dig into the word with us? Yeah, amen. I mean, the book of Revelation begins with the words: the revelation of Jesus Christ.

It's the revealing of who Christ really is. And the reality is, is that he is so infinitely deep. No finite mind Can understand the vastness and eternality of this man who is who became God, Jesus Christ. And so I go to the book uh of Revelation with a sense of wonderment. and a sense of expectation.

and a sense of humility. I have studied this book, this Bible, extensively. And what I humbly say is. I don't know exactly how it all happens. But what I do know is that the king is coming.

Definitely not. Amen. Spirit come. Why do I say that? Because he said that himself.

And so if you want to understand Who Christ is. What What better book to get into Than the book that literally says the revealing or the revelation of Jesus Christ. You want to see Jesus as he really is? Come. To this book study, and or just get into the book, man, so it gets into you so that you see the glorious realities of who this king.

Who is eternal is Amen. There's no downside in getting in the word, looking at it. and then working it out. And I tell you, Dr. Hennett is very...

He is very open. And he's very open to discussing different perspectives, but you just got to start with a word and let's let that be the springboard. And when you say, well, you know, my system's a little bit different than what I may get at this course, suddenly now you're putting aside all the amazing theology. How about all the amazing martyrs in Revelation? How about all the brilliant imagery of the apocalypse?

How about all these powerful throne room scenes like Revelation 14 and Revelation 5 and the end, where he says, come and drink, you know, you who are hearing, what about all the calls to the church? to wake up, to speak up, and and to shine a light up. Yeah, and I think one of the errors that we can make is we can try to. Fit the book of Revelation into our systematic theology. We're trying to often fit God's word into our man made constructs.

Right? Or concepts. How about we just go to the book of Revelation? Humbly and go to our God faithfully and prayerfully and say, God, Reveal yourself to me. Reveal Okay.

Yourself. To me through the study of your word, give me your promised blessing. As I submit myself to you and your word, Give me the blessing that you promised I would receive in Revelation 1:3. When I read this book aloud, Hear it. Understand it and submit to it.

Keep your word. Yeah. And so I I yeah, I think we're tr we often try to force God's word into our man made constructs or systematic theologies. And man, I just I say it humbly, I don't know, but I know that my God's word is is is ultimate. What he says is final.

And I take Jesus at his word. As the king who has come, has proven himself to be God supernaturally, miraculously. And I believe By faith, that he is coming again, just as he said he would. And there's just, there's, there's so much. Um, I'm not to say that we don't study it.

Strenuously and seek to understand it as thoroughly as possible. But we must come humbly. Exactly. And just receive God's word exactly as it is. Right.

It says in the Bible: not one jot or tittle shall be changed. Amen. And the Bible is the most read, most translated, most sold book of all time.

So it stood the test. I want to get to a couple of things, and we only have about a few minutes here. For those that want to keep up with your ministry, your church, how can somebody keep up with what you're doing? Sure. They can go to FBC.
