Why is freedom so important? You're listening to me on the radio right now, or by way of podcast, or whatever form you're listening. on the truth app wherever because you're free to do so. No one's going to put you in jail for doing it. That is the beauty.
Of America, that's the beauty of the gospel. It's a free offer of salvation. And anyone. Can put their trust in Jesus. Jesse Connors, it's almost too good to be true.
But it's true. It's free. It's freedom. What hits your heart on this day of freedom, Jesse? What a great celebration, huh, brother.
Well, I obviously am thinking about the sacrifices that were made. Right. I recently had to have back surgery, and I was in Philadelphia. I was able to walk into the parks.
Well, one park in particular, and there's other parks for Independence Hall, et cetera. But one park in particular was where a lot of the Revolutionary War people were buried. And still to this day, it's a somber picture of what happened for freedom. And of course, As time progressed in our nation, even to this day, we still are fighting for freedom and we're still honoring the And we're honoring the people that die evangelism easily. We're just basically effortless.

We're using that word free a lot here, but then What a tragic if you die in bondage, if you don't have Christ, and if your neighbors, people you live with, people you work with, people that maybe your kids play together at the playground, at school, and they've never heard the gospel. But, Jesse, everyone is free to share the gospel, and this is a great opportunity to celebrate our freedom by sharing. What if every listener shared the gospel with 250 people? To celebrate 250 years of American freedom, how can they do it? How simple is this?

Well, it's amazing because it talks about us being in a spiritual battle. We've just talked about a physical one, and it's spiritual, obviously, a component in what we were talking about. But our spiritual war is truly apathy in the church today. We have to rise above the apathy in our hearts, and we have to be more concerned about the lost than the worries of this life and the pursuit of wealth. And the other things that we think are more important, Mark 4 talks about this.
That's called they're being choked. It's not a death, it's a choking. It's just, there's a clear word, but for the first seed that's talked about, it's using the word for the death of it.
So we can see that we are held back through our flesh and through spiritual battle, not to go out because of those reasons. But we have to exceed the passion that we have for those things and overcome it with us going out and sharing our faith easily. And this is the easiest way to do it. In fact, they normally say you're welcome. And for me, it's hard. It's, I mean, thank you. And for me, it's hard to say you're welcome back to them because it's like, like, it's such an effort. Like, you want them to appreciate, but in your heart, you think that maybe they won't.
They say thank you so much. And you're like, oh, oh, you're welcome. Because in our battle, we don't understand what we're doing. But God is letting us see their response to help us understand what it is significant for those people that are getting those cards.

Well, we are free. Let's celebrate the freedom. You hear the passion in Jesse's voice. Man, this is so exciting. Celebrate your freedom by sharing with someone about the freedom.
Jesus Christ came. And let me just take the pressure off you. You can't do it. It's everything Jesse described. It's impossible.
But God, the Holy Spirit, supernaturally, will give you the power. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will empower you by the power of the gospel to share the gospel.
So stop, drop. And pray, Lord, open the door for me today, this moment, in this meeting, at this doctor's appointment, to tell someone about the great physician. Lord, and all you have to do is say, give me the words to say, and give me the, and I have this card. What do you say? Sell them right now.
