We give you. Gratitude for partnering with us here on Truth Talk Live and all of our partners, including a special guest, friends. I've been waiting for this moment. You used to listen to this guy for years. With Steve Noble, the legend himself.
Steve had a feature called Monday Mondays, and Money Mondays. He's back. And the man Behind the curtain has stepped out, and he is on with us right now. David Fisher, God bless you, brother. Man, it's good to have you back.
Oh, Steus, I've been waiting for this too. Such an exciting time. You know, when Steve couldn't fill in or Steve couldn't do his program, you filled in, I think, three, four specific times you interviewed me, and I was with Steve Noble for seven years. What a great brother in the Lord. He's touched my life, and God's used them in such a mighty way.
But such a pleasure to be on your program today. Thank you for having me.
Well, it's good to have you. It's good to have you back. And those were the easiest segments I ever did for Steve Noble. I mean, those are the easiest times to fill his big shoes, which are hard to fill, believe me. He's a legend himself.
But having you on, because I'm going to tell you, folks, just right out of the gate here. Everyone has people in their life that has insights about financial stuff. Money, investing, the markets. We all have that Bitcoin person, right, that's real smart on that stuff. Gold, silver, precious metals.
But it's important to have people in your life that also have. A biblical review. that understand principles like Generosity. like wise investing, kingdom-minded investing. that we're investing in something Not to own more, but to steward more.
And David Fisher, that's been something that's been a theme of your whole life and testimony, hasn't it, brother? Talk about that and have porch of that real quick. Hmm. Absolutely, you know. Money is talked more about in the Bible than salvation, about three times as much.
Not to minimize salvation at all. Because that is the key that we all talk about to everybody. We want everybody to come to the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But you've got to take care of our money. And God has called us to be good stewards of the funds He's entrusted us to.
And Scripture says a portion to seven, a portion to eight, because you do not know what tragedy may befall you.
Now, is that a horrendous tragedy like 2008, or is it just a market pullback? Or what is it? Or is it a dollar problem that we're facing right now with our debt and our Treasury market? And we'll talk. about that today if we have time and in the coming weeks.
But uh yeah. Diversification is a really key element in being a good steward of the funds He is entrusts us all with.
Well, we're going to have you on. We're going to do a bit every Monday in the last section of the show.
So, everyone that's got your tentacles out to hear some sage wisdom on financial stuff, specifically on gold and silver, from our friend David Fisher, Landmark Capital. You'll want to tune in every week. But we had him on for a little longer time. today because I want you to get to know David.
So here's my question. David Fisher. Who is David Fisher? And I love this little that you shared this with me, and you've shared it before, but for folks that haven't heard you in a while, or maybe new listeners to the network, and as we've grown and new affiliates. How does someone go from pastor?
To precious metals. Delve in a little bit into our listeners about your journey to Christ and your journey into doing what you're doing right now, from being a pastor.
Well, I'm 64 years old, and I had a radical born-again experience at age 16. Uh I was seeking God, trying to figure out if He was real or not. I was attending a a a home church, a Lutheran church at the time, and uh there was this guy who was uh His son, him and I were friends in high school, and he had this radical. He talked about Jesus in the basement having cookies and coffee, and I couldn't, it's like totally different. I never heard this before.
And he invited me to a crusade, but prior to that, We lived in the small community, the farming community, and there was this mountain called Burlington. It was in Burlington, Washington. They had a cross. At the top of the hill, and I rode my bike up there and bicycle, and I was trying to ask God, kind of like going to Mount Sinai, you know, Moses, saying, Are you real? And didn't felt anything up there.
But shortly right after that, the gospel was presented to me at a crusade, and I gave my life to Christ and was. born again and was discipled and uh that Started uh me in ministry at a young age and uh Went to Bible school after that, worked with my dad who owned a large feed mill, if you remember the agricultural team under Ron uh Ronald Reagan, President Reagan. My dad headed that team up.
So he had was offered jelly beans by President Reagan in the Oval Office and uh Just a really cool, cool story, and Reagan was just a wonderful man of God.
So anyway, I pastored full time, uh went into the ministry five years full time. And how do they go from pasturing the precious metals?
So it was not. the pathway that I was uh uh searching for at all. I'm a German A guy, uh, farm boy who's conservative, does not get shaked by emotion or swayed by excitement or anticipation of, hey, let's go do this, let's do that. I just stay the course. That's kind of my my personality.
So that being said, Pastoring up in Washington, the senior pastor said, Hey, I want you to go down to Phoenix, Arizona, and there's this big, big church down there. They do a lot of things that you do. I was doing drama. I was worship leader. I I wore about six or seven different hats, men's ministry, prayer breakfast.
The janitor, you name it. I did it. But anyway. Uh I went down there and he he said, Just get away. And uh see if you can glean anything because they did big dramas and worship and everything, so.
I went there on a Sunday night. This is Uh quite a few years ago and uh nineteen ninety four And uh So drawn that I was like, what is this sense in deep, not a feeling, but in my spirit. Do I'm drawn to go to Phoenix? Why is that? I wrestled with it for the duration of the conference.
Until finally Wednesday night, I went to the altar. And I got down on my knees and I Prayed and I said, Lord, I don't understand this. This has been growing while I'm here. I'm all my family's up in Washington. That's where I want to live.
That's where I want to die. That's where I want to be pastor. Why do I feel drawn to Phoenix? Tell me what you want me to do. I'll I'll go wherever you want me to go, be who you want me to be, say what you want me to say.
Just tell me. And as there's two times in my life, this was the first one, that God spoke so clear that there was no doubt, no hesitation. And he said, If you go, I'll make a way.
Well, I wrestled with God. And I said, no, I can't do that. I can't do that. Just tell me what you want me to do. You've got to tell me.
And I just keep hearing over and over, if you go a mic away. I got home the next day. The senior pastor asked me, so how'd it go? I told him what happened. He says, oh, oh, no.
You're going to Phoenix? I was like the one of the key guys of the church. And I said, No, I can't do that. His name was Steve. I said, Steve, you need to be my friend, my pastor, and obviously, you're my boss.
I don't know how to. I know what I heard, but I don't know how to go from here to there. I just can't. He says, well, God will make it really clear to you And God is the God of the church, not just this church. And so he prayed.
And um Nothing happened? Couple of weeks later. I was doing a men's prayer breakfast after I spoke at it, got in my van. Uh and I'm s frustrated at that point uh 'cause God didn't make it clear to me. And you know, he says the steps of a righteous man are ordered by God and I was like, You got to tell me what I need to do.
And so I'm praying while I'm driving with my eyes open. And I said, Just give me a sign, Lord. I turn the corner, there's this big U-Haul van with a cactus on the side of it, and it said Arizona. I start laughing. I go.
You're funny, Lord.
So that was Saturday. The next day after church, I told Steve, the senior pastor, my boss, what happened. He says, Oh, you're going to Phoenix? I said, Steve. I'm so committed.
I can't move. I'm traditional German, you know, it's like that's not enough. He says, well think through that. He says, because it looks like that's the direction, and I don't want you to go if it's my will. But we want God's will.
And so anyway. A couple days go by, said, What if we did this, Steve? What if we put a fleece before the Lord? Then I go down to Phoenix. on a weekend, go to the same place, same church.
And if somebody comes up to me out of the blue that I've never met before, and basically tells me that I am supposed to move to Phoenix. then I will take that as this is God's will for my life.
Well We went got on a plane a couple of weeks later. Went to the same church. It was a church within the church, about 450 people. I didn't dress any different than anyone else. I didn't sit in the front row.
I sat probably. towards the middle, towards the back. And then right after the service, I didn't know who was preaching. That person came right off the stage, walked right up to me, And he says, Hi, I'm Leal. And I told them who I was.
And he said, Do you live around here? I said, No. I actually am a pastor up in Washington, but I was down here six weeks ago at a pastor's convention. Oh. He says I have to share something with you.
This has never happened to me before, and I don't know what this means to you. He says, but I'm preaching, and God clearly spoke to my heart and arrested me, and he said. You're going to be working with that man, and he points to me at my chest. And he says, I don't know what this means to you. And I said I told him my story, just like I should.
And I said I know that you're not coming to Washington. Actually, he said that to me. I said, so I'm moving to Phoenix. And he says, wow. That's great.
Do you have a job? I go, No, I didn't expect any of this to happen. He says, There's a great brother here at the church. He owns a gold and silver company. A lot of pastors come to work for him.
Maybe for the rest of their time here on Earth, maybe as just a transition, who knows? I'll make a phone call, see if he has any openings. He made the phone call. He told me to call him on Monday. I called him on Monday.
He says, expecting your call, call him. It's straight into his desk. He'll bypass the switchboard, bypass his secretary, the gatekeeper. I called him and he hired me on the phone in three minutes. And I went in f he asked me for just to come in for an interview and I did and So I went home, sold our house.
full price and uh moved down here, started doing that and that was 32 years ago, and I've been doing that as a tent maker. Three decades.
Now, we want to hear more about this precious metals. We've got some big questions for you. A crazy prediction you made on Steve Noble's show that actually happened. And what about gold and silver? And what about your integrating your faith into the workplace with David Fisher, landmarkgold.com?
Hang on. We're coming up right after this. It's remarkable that Peter and John said to that crippled man along the side of the road there in the temple area: silver and gold have I none. But what we do have is get up and walk in the name of Jesus.
Well, David Fisher. I don't know if he would exactly say silver and gold have I none, but it sounds a lot like the heart is the same. is what Peter and John said, because David Fisher, you're effectively a missionary Disguised as a precious metals expert. I mean, listen to your testimony. I mean, Did you ever think 33 years ago that for 32 years you would be sharing Christ through.
Precious metals. What a career and what a platform and a stewardship, huh? I I probably have been able to share Christ To more people being in this venue than I probably would have been as a pastor. uh an associate pastor or and a youth pastor. Uh the it opens the door uh enormously.
when you talk about, you know, their money and also You know, are you going to pass down money? What are you going to do about the end of your life? What does that look like? And so it just goes naturally into. you know, their face.
Uh Well, what a connection. And we're going to get more into that. With David Fisher. We're going to be having with us every week this time for Money Mondays. This isn't original with us because the legend himself.
Steve Noble was the guy. I mean, what a great guy Steve was. We got to get him to phone in some of these times, don't we, David? Wouldn't that be cool? Just to hear his voice again.
The three of us talking on that screen. That'd be wonderful. I don't think we could ever make it happen. Wait, I hear some. Wait, I hear some commotion there.
You know what? I read in a book somewhere that it said, You have not because you asked for it. What in the world? How is this guy even? I mean, this guy's like the most thermonuclear believer I know out there.
He phones in because he hears David Fisher. Is on Steve Noble. What about this cat, David Fisher? Is he the real deal or what, brother? Give it to us, man.
Give it to us straight. I love David Fisher. David, I love you, brother. And I miss doing radio with you. But more than radio, I just miss talking to you and doing life with you.
I just, what a blessing it was all those years that we spent on the radio. Oh my gosh. I'm going to one up you. I think I love you more. No, I don't want to go in that direction.
You touched my life so much. Iron Sharpens, Iron Brother, such a great blessing to hear your voice. Let's catch up. There's some more miracles that God has done since I talked to you last. One big one.
And uh anyway, wow that I'm so glad you called in, Steve.
Well. Yes, it was a little stew let me know you were going to be on, and then I was like, I got to call in. And the wonderful thing about all those years we did Money Mondays together was Yeah, we were going to talk about financial issues and the economy, and we were going to talk about the use of precious metals and a good diversified portfolio. But really all that stuff was, was really just a ruse to talk about the most valuable thing either one of us could talk about, which was the gospel itself. And so that was always the joy of it, is we were just utilizing the platforms God gave us to.
Talk about him and talk about the gospel and talk about biblical stewardship.
So it was always more about the kingdom than it was about gold and silver, but we can use one to promote the other, and it was just a joy to do it. I remember the times when COVID was happening, and you allowed me to share our testimony. I thought. our company is going to get shut down because we're talking about ivermectin And I asked your permission in advance. Can we talk about this?
Because my wife and I had bought. Like ten thousand dollars worth of ivermectin, and the government was n not letting you have it, and the doctors were not letting you have it, and so it became my wife's ministry. And I can't tell you she probably I don't know how much you sent out, but about 500 people that we can fully. Recognize we're saved from death by that. And that's really our heart: helping people.
in any way, shape or form and Gold and Silver is like the tent maker Paul for us to help them and that's the mechanism.
Well and I just want to interject. I I just I I would feel a little more comfortable if I knew both of you gentlemen were wearing a mask right now. I know it's on the radio and all, but I just want to get that off my pl I mean I just I have to do a little I'd be a little less uh jittery here in the studio just to know. Hey, but on a serious note, Steve, honestly, uh how beautiful is it to have someone like David Fisher? They they're partnered with us on this program.
They're financially supporting, helping us change lives, helping you change lives for all those years you were on the air. And you know, but helping connect people because David will talk to someone. Who isn't like the crippled beggar? In the book of Acts, that James and John said, silver and gold have I none. These are people that may have a lot of silver and gold, but David, you're in their life.
Trying to point them to the king, to the one who has.
Something that Financial stuff can't satisfy you. You have all the money in the world. You kill it in the gold markets, but. You don't have Jesus. Steve Noble, you have nothing, right?
No, that's right. You can, what gaineth a man that profits the whole world but loses his soul? And that's where when you're talking to people about money and possessions and retirement and all that kind of stuff, it's a huge sensitive subject. For most of us, but what a great opportunity to remind people that there's something even more valuable. Their soul, anybody's soul, and the gospel, of course, is the solution for that particular challenge that we all face as we approach the end of our lives.
And that's why it was always, you know, and always with so many shows on Monday Monday would start off by reminding people the Bible talks more about money and possessions than it did about faith and prayer because God knew it was going to be a big issue for us, whether you have a little or have a lot. And so it was just a great, always a great platform. To be able to talk about the eternal things as opposed to the temporal things. And that will continue every time David's on the radio. I know that will happen.
you know, and the beauty of of the scriptures, we don't need pavement where we're going, gold. But it is something that does help in this lifetime, and so I get to minister to people. It's an in talking about the end of their life and talking about uh what pavement might be like. And they kind of look at me or I hear a pause in the phone if it's we're not meeting face to face, like, What is this guy talking about?
So we try to create the environment where the Holy Spirit can work on their lives, but uh It's such a blessing to hear Steve Because he encouraged, you might not realize this, you encouraged me to go further that direction. I was already doing it long before I met you, but I really upped my game because of your iron sharpening iron. And uh lots of people are probably somewhere along the lines, unbeknownst to me. Have been touched by the Holy Spirit and hopefully had a deeper walk or come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior as a result of your influence. That'll be a beautiful thing when we're walking those streets of gold and having these conversations that will literally never end, all glorifying God, but seeing how God used all these little mustard seeds to bring about fruit in the kingdom will be so awesome.
I'm so excited about that.
Well, and you know, you're helping folks, David, and this is why we're having you on, and you've done so much to help a lot of people in your time with Steve and other venues to help them invest wisely. They're God-given. Stewardship driven wealth to advance the kingdom. If they're wise with that, and don't just bury their bag under the ground, they're wise in their investment, they have more and they can grow and touch a lot more people. But I got a shout out to Steve Noble.
Thank you, brother, for calling in. Tell us real quick, give us the 30-second snapshot of what you're doing right now for listeners that are having a bunch of Steve Noble FOMO because they miss hearing from you. Yeah, so yeah, December of 2023 was the last show, and God just literally moved my heart out of the studio and into the classroom. And when I was talking to my wife and my board and other people. I said, you know my gifting, you know my abilities.
I've been doing both meaning the classroom with teenagers through Noble U plus the radio show, but I knew I didn't want to do both anymore and I said, What do you want me to do? You want me to preach to the choir or you want to want me to go after teenagers? And they said, Go after them. And so, as much as I love the truth radio audience and all of my friends that were a part of the show for 16 years, The teenagers are more important, so that's what I'm doing 100% of my time now. And I had 432 students this past year, and it's just continued to grow.
And that's NobleU, NobleU School.com. That's where I am, nobleuschool.com, 8th through 12th grade, all over the country.
So cool. What a blessing.
Well, look him up there. David Fisher, maybe one of these days I'll have Steve fill in for me. And he could interview you on a Monday. How's that sound? Get the two old guys back together.
Steve, God bless you. Thanks for calling in, man. You're such a blessing. Goodbye, everybody, guys. David, we'll talk soon.
We love you, brother. Keep doing what you're doing, man. What a man of God, and what a bold what is for Christ, Steve Noble is. Hey, so, David Fisher, as we get to the end of the show. I want to give your information, by the way.
Give us your... You're kind of in the final 30 seconds here. Or so of kind of how you want to help people that are listening, especially when it comes to this gold, which is, you made the prediction five years ago that it was on Steve's show, right? That it would double. Five years ago you made that prediction and what happened?
2022 actually is four years ago. Uh the Dow went up forty percent, the NA S P went up fifty five percent, NASDAQ sixty five percent, gold one hundred and thirty seven percent, silver one hundred and ninety two percent.
So gold and silver is outperforming the main indexes, index to index, apples to apples by about two to one, three to one. That's pretty normal. When we get into the bull markets of gold and silver, along with stock bull markets, we'll talk more about why I saw that and made that prediction next week. But we got a couple white papers they can get for free. There's no obligation, there's no pressure.
It's like a gift to people to reach out to you. Can I give that number? Absolutely.
Okay, it's a toll-free number. Information is available. And resources are available at 844-604-2575. To reach DavidFisher, landmarkgold.com is the website. The toll-free number again is 844-604-2575.
A lot more to come on this, but David Fisher, thank you for helping our listeners be wise in investing, my brother, with the precious metals. Thank you, Stu. Thanks for having me. And what a great surprise having, Steve. Thanks for doing that.
That's such. Such a wonderful thing. It's awesome. I think that made both of our days. Wow.
Awesome. David Fisher with landmark.
