This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk. The truth is, I can't hide it. Oh yeah.
A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host.
Truth Talk Live host, yours truly. It's been a while. Nika Kolov, the former Russian nightmare, now the devil's nightmare, as Stu Epperson likes to introduce me as. That's right. Every day I wake up, he's like trembling in his boots, going, uh-oh, he's up again.
Does the enemy tremble? Does the devil tremble when you get out of bed? He should. He should, because you're making a difference and impacting God's kingdom and impacting eternity, which. Is the topic of our discussion today?
God wants to spend eternity with you. I've been delving into some devotionals all week long, just kind of stirring within me the longing for heaven, looking forward to heaven. We'll talk a little bit about that today. Maybe we'll get a few people to call in. And share some of their thoughts with us as well.
I'm reminded of Romans 8:11, and it says this: if the Spirit of God. who raised Jesus from death, lives in you. than he who raised Christ from death, Will also give life to your mortal bodies by the presence of His Spirit. In Now, before we dive deeper into that, anyone who knows me, and as I've been a host of Truth Talk Live in the past, by the way, has some incredible interviews you're going to enjoy coming up here on It's Time to Man Up, the Man Up Show, the Man Up Podcast, and QA with Koloff. Keep your eyes and ears open for some of the new shows we'll be posting.
I think you're going to really enjoy some of the conversations. But you also know I just enjoy doing Bible trivia. And so along with that, When you, the caller, call in and get the question right, especially if you're a wrestling fan, or as I come to learn here living in the South, a wrestling fan, I've got an autographed 8 by 10 photo that we will send you, whether it's for you or maybe a loved one or someone who you know who loves wrestling. And so we're just gonna kick off the first trivia question. I think A relatively easy question, and so Just throw this out there.
To what city? Ready? Here we go. To what city? Was Jonah?
Sant? By God to cry against the wickedness.
Now, some of you probably get this without even me giving you any choices. But I'm going to go ahead and make it a little easier on this first question and give you some choices to what city was Jonah sent by God to cry against the wickedness for free Eight by ten autograph from yours truly, Nikita Koloff the Russian Nightmare. Jerusalem? Samaria Babylon Or Nineveh. Call in 866-348-7884.
My man Grayson is sitting online waiting to take your call. That's 866-3428. truth And that's the number you're going to call to not only to answer the trivia questions. but also to discuss to discuss Uh Our topic of discussion today: eternity. Eternity.
If the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from death, lives in you. then he who raised Christ from death will also give life to your Mortal body by the presence of his spirit in you. You know, sometimes, I don't know about you, but sometimes. Uh that that's that kind of slips away from me. I sometimes forget.
That the Holy Spirit lives and dwells in me. I'm reminded in 1 Corinthians 3, verse 16, it says, Do you not know or know that the Spirit of God lives and dwells in you? The Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:19 says, Or do you not know? Like, okay, well, maybe you don't know. That once you give your life to Christ, become a born-again blood-washed believer.
That God removes a heart of stone, puts a heart of flesh, gives you His Spirit, puts the Holy Spirit in you. Uh and you are now bought at a price. Your body is the temple of God. housing the Holy Spirit. and you are bought at a price, of course, what is that price?
With a cross Of Jesus is the price, right? And so.
Something to consider, something to think about. 866-348-7884. If you have an answer to the trivia question, What city the Was Jonah sent to to talk to them about their wickedness? What was it? Was it Jerusalem?
Was it Nineveh, was it Babylon? What city? What city? Um So, on that note, while we're waiting for a caller to give us the trivia question. Let's talk a little bit about that.
And feel free to call in too. And discuss your thoughts on eternity. Is that something? You're looking forward to? Um And uh So Anyway, we gotta Grayson, do we have a call do we have a caller?
I don't have any notes, Grayson. Hello? Hello. Hey, who who do we got calling in today? I'm Wayne from Jacksonville, Florida.
Wai Wayne? Yes, sir. From Jacksonville, Florida. How are you today, Wayne? Mm-hmm.
Yes, sir. Oh, there I hear you better now. How are you today, Wayne? You doing good? Uh I'm doing well.
How are you doing? I'm doing wonderful. I'm I'm very familiar with Jacksonville. In fact, there was a slim chance I was going to be in Jacksonville, Florida, uh this weekend, but uh plans changed and I I had to call an Audible and and and take a different path. But uh So you're down there listening in Jacksonville.
You got an answer to the trivia question, Wayne? Yeah, was it Nineveh? It was Nineveh, Wayne. Yes, sir. Good job.
Good job. You know your Bible. Yeah, Jonah. Do you remember the story? Like, of course, Jonah didn't want to go, right?
He's like, yo, I ain't doing that. He's stubborn like all of us, right? Right, right, right, yeah, right. And I tell people, like, when you know, when he goes in the opposite direction, he ends up in the belly of the whale. I'm like, yeah, how'd that work out for Jonah?
Like, you know, how's that work out for you when you tell God no? Right? Yeah, it doesn't end up well. It usually doesn't end up too well, does it? And then, but the beauty of the story is he eventually, you know, says, Okay, more or less says, God forgive me, I'll go do it.
And then it says the entire city, right? Like, I'm an evangelist, Wayne, and so which means you know, my heart is soul-winning. And from what I understand, from what I remember, there's like 120,000 people living Nineveh, whatever. The whole city gets saved, right? And I'm like who who wouldn't like to have that re that on your resume, right?
Like and uh you know, the Bible talks about storing up treasure in heaven. Uh do you have a do you have a favorite story? Uh uh uh in addition to the Jonah story, do you have a favorite story of the Bible, Wayne?
So, um mine's probably Joseph. Story of Joseph and his brothers. That's about the. I can kind of relate and it's just a great story. of love, forgiveness.
There's a lot to it. Yeah, I mean, yeah, talk about, you're right. I mean, talk about. You think about that story, you know.
Some of them want to kill him.
Some of them say, no, you know, let's throw him into the cistern. And the others are like, oh, no, let's don't do that. You know, let's sell them into slavery. And so, which they do? But you got to see it.
They had a little bit of a reason to have some animosity towards him, the way he walked around with his arrogancy and his little. you know, his visions and his dreams. Yeah, I mean, a lot of lessons in that story, right? A lot of lessons. Yeah.
So, hey, Wayne, hold on. Grayson's going to get your address. I appreciate you calling in, and we're going to get you an 8x10 autograph. Just tell him who you want the photo signed to, okay? All right, sounds great.
All right. God bless you, Wayne. Thank you. Truth Talk Live All right, all right, all right. We are back with Truth Talk Live, your host Nikita.
Coloff Wayne in Jacksonville, Florida. We need to apologize. We have some technical issues here. in the Truth Studio. Technology's great when it works.
Uh the phone system somehow. uh went on the blink And so we weren't able to get Wayne's address. I feel really bad about that.
So we're not going to be able to send him that autographed 8x10. But Wayne, maybe we get it figured out. Call into the station maybe a little bit later. But I really would like to get you that autographed 8x10. And uh, but I do appreciate the discussion on Joseph.
Yeah, we were just saying before the break, man, so many lessons we can learn, so many things we can learn from the life of Joseph, right? I mean, uh, yeah, it wasn't uh, maybe you probably shouldn't have gone around, uh, you know, kind of. Touting the dreams and visions he had. I don't know, one could argue that point, I suppose. But at the same time, with the favor that his dad showed him, certainly did create a tad bit of jealousy among brothers.
Not that there's ever any jealousy among family members or siblings, but occasionally, I guess, there is, right? God wants to spend eternity with you. And you're out there in listening lands.
Some of you have already embraced. That idea, but perhaps there's some out there who have yet to embrace. that idea. I I just speak from personal experience. Uh no growing up.
I did not grow up in church. Uh that's not to say I never went to church, but I didn't grow up in church. Uh you know, I hear a lot uh of folks, especially down here in the in the what's considered the part of the Bible belt here in the Carolinas, coming to you from Truth Talk Live from Truth Radio in Winston, Salem, North Carolina. You know, there's a lot of folks say, well, I grew up in the church. You know, one friend said I was Baptist before I was born.
You know, so a lot of different perspectives. I didn't grow up in church. Um but that's not to say That I didn't know the story. I had not said It's not to say I hadn't heard the story. Uh more than one occasion.
The man Jesus. who who had spikes driven through his hands and his feet and a spear through his side, And sacrificed, right? Went to the cross to sacrifice, lay down his life so that. Mankind could have eternal life spend Eternity With Almighty God, right? And just the thought of that.
And what my more recent devotionals have done is caused me to pause. And think. In fact, I was picking up some flyers the other day from my print shop and was discussing with them: you know, what's heaven going to be like? You know, and there's some who maybe think, well, you know, we're just going to be floating around on clouds and playing harps.
Well, I don't think so. I don't think so. I see it more like, I feel like, I don't know about you, I wish we could take callers and have you call in and share some of your thoughts. You're just going to have to put up with me talking for the entire hour unless we get these phones working again. And Grayson will let me know if indeed he does get the phones working again.
If not, you're just going to have to. Listen to me ramble, but uh all that to say. Um You know, when I think about my own life journey and what these devotionals have prompted me to do or caused me to pause and think, and what I'm thinking about. Uh Presently Is what is heaven going to be? Have you ever paused long enough to think about that?
that clearly there is a an afterlife. Um I just happen to believe everything the Bible says. Jesus talks about it actually. Um he he t he clearly illustrates that there is a heaven, uh and the flip side of that, that they're There is a hell. Uh as well.
Um I just happen to to believe what the Bible says. And so in in In growing up as a kid without church, but believing this or hearing the story. That story became real for me. 17 October 1993, about eleven months after I left professional wrestling. And surrender my heart, confessed, and repented, surrendered my heart.
To Jesus, did heaven and eternity really become real for me? And the other thing it did was. Help me realize I had a greater purpose. purpose to my life Than just entertaining people in what we affectionately called a squared circle, a wrestling ring. and that there was a greater purpose.
I'd come to realize or come to figure out come to understand through discipleship about a five-year process of discipleship that I walked through before God just swung the doors wide open and Kolof for Christ Ministries was launched. To where if you fast forward now, that was in 1993. And in 1998, the ministry was launched. And fast forward all these years later, I've now been to currently 36 different countries. I've been to all fifty states.
I've stopped counting at fifteen hundred churches that I've preached in, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of camps. In fact, uh if you're a wrestling aficionado, you'll know the name Lex Luger. Lex Luger lived with me back in 2015 in a camp called Man Camp. uh in a man up conference and the man up Podcast and radio show. It's time to man up.
all stems from that that time that Lex and I spent together. Um and and just now equipping and empowering men to be godly men and godly husbands and godly fathers and godly grandfathers, because I am one, a grandfather that is. In fact, my youngest daughter, Colby, and her husband Andrew just adopted Their third child uh in the month of May. And so that now moves me into the category of 15. grandchildren, uh if you can believe it.
But um Interestingly enough, so I'm just so grateful and thankful for for family and for my relationship with Jesus and giving me a a new a newer a refreshed perspective on on heaven. and eternity and what what do you think? What do you think? You're not gonna be able to call in and tell me what you think, but I'm gonna at least ask you what you think about eternity. Like when you think when you hear the word eternity, What do you think?
What do you think about? Um and eternity is a long, long, long Time Uh and so it's it's best to to get that decision made. Yeah uh to me uh on on on this side uh Yeah. Because there's no opportunity once you breathe your last breath to make that decision on the other side. One of the most important reasons that we should be joyful that God has given us eternal life, one of the most important reasons is because it gives us the perspective.
You might spend $60. Eighty. Maybe even a hundred years on earth. Think about that. And that goes by in the blink of an eye.
Some of you older in the audience today will agree with me. You know that that uh A good friend of mine, Jeffrey Gittimer, says that the days and weeks can drag on, but the years fly by. And so whether it's 60, 80, 100 years on Earth, here's the deal. You'll spend, I don't know, millions? tr trillions of years in eternity?
Ever thought about that? Like, because like it's permanent. It's like forever. Like forever. You know, and if you place your faith in Jesus, the Bible says you'll spend eternity.
with God in heaven. And I just feel like, I don't know how you feel about it, but I just feel like. This is just a dress rehearsal. for what we're gonna experience there. When we come back, we'll continue our discussion on eternity and heaven.
Don't go away. Stay right where you are. Nikita Kolov. Your host, True Talk Live. Truth Talk Live.
Welcome back, Truth Talk Live. Your host of Kitty Koloff, and I have great news. Great news. Wayne, if you're still out there, Jacksonville, Florida. Wayne, call back in if you take a minute and just give your address to Grayson and who you like that 8x10 autographed to.
And we'd appreciate that. And Mike up in Dayton is on the line. Mike, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. How are you doing, sir?
I'm doing great today, Mike. How are you today? I'm doing great. I'm glad I can get called through, uh get through. I am too.
Yeah, it yeah, I think they just uh just faded it out.
So uh that's cool. We just want to entertain the all of you out there in listening land.
So Anyway, well Mike so Mike, you you have some thoughts on Eternity for us? Yeah, I did. I it brings back memories of my dad talking about heaven all the time, you know, to me.
Okay. And then, yeah, I just. He just said, you know, what do you think it's going to be like? And and I And he says, Do you think we'll be playing cards? And I said, No, I don't think so, Dad.
You can't cheat up there.
So Well, you just so play. You just can't cheat. Oh, that's awesome. That's awesome. And, you know, um, you know, I always thought, you know, there'd be no more pain.
You know, I mean, I like that part. Oh, I love that part. Right? Yeah, no more sorrow. No more pain.
You know what I mean? No more sorrow. Yep. No more tears. No more tears.
We get to see our loved ones again. Yep. So rejoicing about that. You know, I I I heard there's streets of gold. I don't know why would we worry about if there's streets of gold or not, but You know, it's gonna be it's gonna be Flamboyant.
How about that? That's a good word. Yeah, that is a good word. I mean, it's just going to be amazing, right? Eternity is going to be amazing.
Heaven's going to be amazing. I you know, you're talking about no more sorrow, no more, no more suffering, right? No, no more broken, frail bodies, right? We're going to get a glorified body. Right.
Which is which is going to be amazing. And and you and you mentioned, you said you reunited with with people we love. Right? Right. And Mike, it talks about too, you know, when we stand before the Lord.
And, you know, we have that conversation with him that there will be, you know, the Bible's very, there's different crowns, right? The crown of righteousness. There's different, in other words, there's different rewards the Bible says that people will receive. And it's based on what we do here.
So the rewards we get there, now that's not to motivate us, I want to pile up a bunch of rewards there. You know, we do what we do here because of our love for God, right? Right. And I kind of equate that to the military. You know, the longer you've been in the military, the more sprites you get, you know, and the more.
achievements you do, you get little some ribbons on your chest, you know. And that's what God's doing. He's just recognizing you that look at what he did down there. I'm going to put some ribbons on his chest or some crown, you know, glory beads on his head. You know, I'm proud of this person.
Yeah, man. That's it.
So, did you, Mike? Did you serve in the military? Yeah, I was in the Marine Corps and my whole family kinda is raised and born and You know, it's a military family a lot.
So it's kind of. You know, that's why, you know, I equate that to that. Yeah, well, I I've kind of figured or wondered. And and so let me just say thank you for serving uh serving in our military unit and and your family. I really appreciate that as well.
But that man, that's a great uh I love that p I'm just kind of visualizing that picture as you're painting it, you know, all all of the the the metals and you know, my my dad was uh in the 82nd Airborne. And and was a part of World War II, uh, actually liberating a concentration camp. Uh, and then he was an MP in the Korean War as well. And so I have some of his medals that he was awarded, um, in my little treasure chest. And, um, but, um, That's sad, so I really I really appreciate that.
Mike Mike, were you a a wrestling fan at all up there in Dayton, Ohio growing up, or not really, uh just out of curiosity?
Well, I had friends that did, you know what I mean? And I never got into it 'cause I just never got into it. I was Not that kind of guy, I guess. But I did, you did send me a. I did call in before and won a prize from you and signed it.
You got to buy an autograph of you. Yes, I have. And it said Merry Christmas, Mike.
So it was Christmas time. Oh, that's cool. Wonderful. And I gave that away to a to a a bowling friend who was a huge time wrestling fan.
Okay. Not a Christian, but um and I got able to talk to him about it, you know, and a little seed put in there with a with a photo of you and gave it to him, you know, 'cause I knew he was a huge wrestling fan you know it just He always still has the Hawk Hogan shirts on and all that. Oh, wow. Yeah, because I usually put a scripture on there. Normally, I either have one printed on there or I'll write.
My favorite scripture is Colossians 110. I just don't remember it. Yeah, so I remember Merry Christmas on it, but you know. Oh, that's cool, though. That's cool.
Well, that's awesome. And what's some great memories with your dad having discussions with you about heaven? That's pretty cool. Yeah, I always loved milkshakes. I just love milkshakes.
I said, Daddy, will there be milkshakes in heaven? Because I think there'll be better food than that. I don't remember that one.
Well, hey, hey, you never know. You know, glorified body, you know, no suffering.
So maybe. Maybe. Who knows? You know, marriage supper. I mean, the marriage feast.
Maybe they'll have some milkshakes at the marriage feast.
Well, and he always liked hamburgers, but they were always like charcoal. I mean, he burned them to death. And I'm like, Dad, you don't know how to eat well. I mean, you know, you're going to go to heaven and you're going to have a charcoal hamburger. I remember that conversation.
He apparently liked him.
Well done, Mike.
Well done. I mean, this charcoal. I mean, just and mustard and onion on it. It was, it was, that's it. Oh, my gosh.
That was not bleeding at all. I mean, there was no juice to it. You know what I mean? It was like charcoal. Yeah.
That's pretty funny. That's pretty funny. Hey, Mike, let me ask you a question. Since I got you on the phone, and we're talking about heaven. And, you know, I know it's God's desire that none perish and go to hell, but, you know, there's some who make that choice, reject God.
Unfortunately, and make that choice. He doesn't send anyone there. People make the choice. They give it a free will to make that choice. But if he wants us in heaven with him, here's a question: just maybe a quick answer.
I'm going to put you on the spot, Mike. Why do you think you're here on earth now? To do God's will, to you know, what is God's will? God's will to mankind is for none should perish, but all should. Um have everlasting life.
And uh And that and that's, you know, by doing God's will, You know, just the other day, I woke up this morning. I said, God, use me today. And listeners, don't do that because He definitely will. And I went to Speedway. I love, I literally just hang out a little bit and get some coffee.
And I talked to a guy, I says, You know, he needed to burn himself with the coffee. And I hurried up and reached over and gave him some napkins. And he goes, Man, that hurt. And we joined up a conversation. In the conversation, I said, Hey, Do you know where you're going to go when you die?
And that's how that's how the conversation of heaven Believe it or not, that's how that conversation happened now. And He we went back and forth and I gave him some scripture. And he at the end just says, It's all I'm gonna get the I'm gonna be good because of me. And like Wow, you know, you're not going to be good because of you. The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus.
And we talked about the Bible, and he didn't think it was real. He thinks people just wrote it, you know, so then that way we wouldn't be mean people and bad people. We just, men wrote it.
So that's why there's the Bible, you know. Yeah, it's just a novel like any other book, right? Right, right. That somebody, somebody authored. Although dozens and dozens authored it over a period of like, well, like 1500 years.
I mean, when you start checking into the, well, good for you for planting some seeds. And you are right. John 14:6, Jesus clearly said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and nobody comes to the Father except through me, right?
So that's the entrance into eternity, into heaven, is the surrendering of our heart, right? Right, it's running of the heart. I mean, uh You know, you're really surrendering your life to him. You know, it's really, you're just giving, you're giving up. Hey, God, take care of me.
I'm giving my life to you. You know, that's real salvation there.
Well, you know, and I like your answer on short notice. You know, why do you think you're on earth now? And to do. God's will. You know, Mike, there's a lot of people out there that actually that struggle with what is God's will for my life.
But, you know, one could point to a number of different scriptures. You know, the Great Commission, right? Jesus said, go out into all the world and make disciples, right? That's a part of God's will for all of us. And of course, Purpose, you know, everyone would like to know their purpose.
Why am I here? What's my purpose? You know, why am I here on earth? And so, um, you know, um. Jonah was one of my favorite stories.
I love that story. And obviously, he didn't do exactly what God's will all the way through. But guess what he was doing? He was hearing God's voice. He was listening to him, you know.
And by learning to listen to God and hear his voice, My sheep hear his voice in the Bible. You know, then you'll know God's will. It's the stomach thing going saying, go talk to that guy about God. You know, it's a little stomach thing in that. And that umption that goes, it makes you go do that, you know.
I mean, it's the gods. God's will for your life is following Him and listening to your spirit in you.
So you can go witness to someone and say the right things at the right time. Um it's That's why I didn't really argue with him about too much, you know, because the Spirit of God told me not to, you know what I mean? Not to argue with I'm going to see him again, I'm sure.
So well, and and you pl you planted some seeds, you planted some seeds, and and uh, you know, one day maybe as far as one of your rewards, we're talking about, you know, the Lord the Lord giving rewards for for our our Our purpose on earth, for our work on earth, you know, as we try to, to the best of our ability. Right. We try to fulfill his will, learn what his will is, and then fulfill his will and purpose for our lives, right?
So that's awesome. That's awesome, Mike. Man, I I appreciate you calling in today. You're welcome. You know, a lot of people don't think about hell, you know, and in eternity.
on fire, you know. Uh I just wish You know, that's it needs a little more brimstone and preaching about that.
So maybe for the love of man that you don't want to see someone perish forever. Yeah, absolutely.
Well, thank you so much, Mike, up in Dayton, Ohio. We appreciate the conversation, the discussion today. And what great memories about your dad. That's awesome. Thank you.
Until next time. Uh Stay tuned. Truth Talk Live. All right. Welcome back.

Memories with his dad, right? Discussions about heaven. But, you know, Mike Mike said. Uh you know what? Hell is real as well.
And we know that the Bible is clear about that. Jesus talked a lot about it. And it's when you read, when you read in the book of Revelation, I don't know how much time you have spent there. Uh but boy, is there some uh references Uh to it there. And so certainly something uh to take take note of right in fact There's tons.
I'm just even looking it up right now. There's tons of. of different scriptures that make references uh to that m Matthew 10 28. Um, you know, if I Look up Matthew 10, 28. What's it say if you look at Matthew 10, 28?
Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and body. In Hell. Right? Matthew 25:46, and these will go away into eternal.
punishment, talking about eternity. You're going to spend eternity somewhere, one or two places. Either heaven or or hell based on your decision. The choice you make whether to accept Jesus. John 14, 6, I am the way, the truth, and the life.
Nobody comes to the Father except through me. There's not a thousand ways to heaven. There's not a thousand ways to God. And these will go away into eternal punishment. But the righteous into eternal life.
Matthew twenty five. forty six.
So much more, so much more. Revelation twenty one eight But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practise magic arts, the idolaters, and all Liars. they'll be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulphur, which is the second. Death Revelation 21:8. There's a lot to say and a lot to consider, and there's no promise of tomorrow.
I'm reminded, I'll tell you a quick story. I'm reminded, and again, call in. I'm just thinking, call in 866-348-7-884-866-34TRUT. If you know what the word epistle Means. If you know what that word means, I'd love to give away one more autographed photo.
I'm reminded of. Recently, I was doing a men's breakfast, a man-up breakfast at a friend's church, actually a village chapel there in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Dear friend Pastor Jeff James. And my friend Rocky was there that Saturday and he had invited several people, he told me, and unfortunately they all backed out on him. We know that happens, right?
Sometimes men struggle with commitment. And uh but he came. He said, I want to come come and support you.
So he came. And at the end of the breakfast, he he bought one of my my biographies, Nikita, A Tale of the Ring and Redemption. And so I was just finishing up, talking to people, packing up. I actually jumped in my car and backing out of my parking space and Rocky comes up, raps on my window, and I'm like, And it's been a while, you know, from the time he left till the time I'm leaving. And I'm like, you're back.
What's going on? He goes, man, he goes, your message. Your message prompted me to run across town, and a good friend of mine, I had to ask him. that if he died today Would he go to heaven or would he go to hell? I I just I had to know.
I had to know. He's a good friend, dear friend of mine. And he says, and I gave him your book. I gave him your book to read, your life story. And so he goes, I got to get another book.
And I'm like, you're crazy, Rocky. That's awesome. You know, he was a witnessing machine. Rocky was a witnessing machine. And he was a marketplace guy, just a guy out there in the business world, but loved Jesus and just wanted to share his story with anyone and everyone.
Well, that was on a Saturday. Men's breakfast on a Saturday morning. Fast forward four days later, got a message from his wife that he was in the hospital, that he had had several strokes, a massive stroke. and uh that he was on on life support. And unfortunately, fortunately for him, unfortunately for us, the next day he passed away.
But it just brought home the reality of just how short life is and/or that there's no promise of tomorrow. Because I just thought to myself, my gosh, I just saw him just a few days ago. Hug hug at his neck. you know, and and uh thanking him for coming to the breakfast. Um no no promise of Tomorrow, no promise of tomorrow.
Second Thessalonians 1:9, they'll be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might. For those who don't accept Jesus, as Lord and Saviour. they'll be punished with everlasting destruction And shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might. I mean, that's. a sobering thought right there, Matthew thirteen, fifty.

Make it real. Make it real. May make make the relationship real. Um I had head knowledge. For thirty four years And 17 October 1993, for the first time in my life.
That story made the aiting and ship from my head. Down to my heart, And it became real. I like to say, I was sharing this with somebody earlier today that within all of us, the way God created us, there's a God-shaped hole in our heart that we try to fill that void, that some whatever's missing with all kinds of things, right? With drugs and with alcohol and with sex and success and just all kinds of things. We try to fill it with.
Only none of it is long-lasting or satisfying for. for long, maybe in the moment. But the only thing I found personally that that actually fills that void, fills that hole in our heart. that god-shaped hole. is a personal relationship with Jesus.
Lord, I thank you. Maybe there's somebody out there today that's never made that decision, or the story's never made the 18-inch trip from their head down to their heart. And Lord, that they would even pray right now. They're driving down the interstate, they're driving on the way home from the office, they're sitting in their living room or their kitchen and preparing a meal or preparing dinner. Lord, and the story's never made that 18-inch trip.
I pray right now in the name of Jesus, Lord, that they would just pause and take a break for the moment. Lord, and just open up their heart. open up their heart, confess, and repent. and asked Jesus to come in. to be their Lord and to be their Saviour.
and that their name Through that decision and through that confession, Their name would be entered into the Lamb's Book of Life. Hey, have you made that decision? Have you prayed that prayer or just prayed along with me and received Christ just now? Call call in, 866-348-7884. And let us know here at Truth Radio Network.
