This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk. The truth is, I can't hide it. Holy A daily program powered by the Truth Network.

This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Seek your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. What would happen?

If we in America would read our Bibles. What would happen? If we in the world would read the Bible. Our topic today. America reads the Bible.

That is happening, folks. I don't know if you know about this great event, but it's taking place in our national capital right now as different people are reading out loud. It started on the 18th, and they go from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and they're reading God's Word out loud.

Even the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is going to be reading tomorrow from the Oval Office, reading from 2 Chronicles 7. What would happen? If We read Arab Bibles. I've got Robbie Dillmore with me.

He's, of course, still homebound. But, Robbie, I ask the question for our listeners, 866-348-7884. We want to hear from them. But what would happen, not only if we read God's Word. but that we obey God's word.

Who do you think? Dr. Dilmore? Uh Well, I think that it's an amazing opportunity. What for such a time as this?

With the world where it is right in this very moment, and they're reading the scripture, reading through the scripture. And what an honor, from what I understand, we actually have. Dave Santrella with Salem Broadcasting standing by. Yes, we do. He's there taking part of that, right?

Yes, we do. And I want to welcome David on to our Truth Talk Live show today. Sir, welcome. We do understand you are part of this, and we'd love to hear your thoughts on America Reads the Bible.

Well, hey guys, yeah, great to be a part of the show today. Thanks for having me. I love the question you asked, right? What would happen? if America read the Bible.

And I guess what I would say is What happens when any one of us reads the Bible, right? What happens when any one of us actually reads the Bible? and starts to really take it into our heart and starts to Obey what we read there in the Bible.

So if you take what happens to any one of us, That does that. and then times it by 332 million people. that live in the United States of America, imagine what might happen. if America was reading the Bible and then actually doing what it says, wouldn't that be amazing? Because on an individual basis, it makes a profound difference in our lives.

And so imagine the profound difference it could make If literally hundreds of millions of people were doing it across the United States.

So, Yeah, it's an exciting event. It's a really, really exciting event. I'm humbled. to be a part of it. When I look at the list of people and you just you named a few, Donald Trump, President Trump are reading, Speaker Mike Johnson is reading, Dallas Jenkins from the who, you know, the creator of The Chosen and many other.

great Christian content that we see these days. He's reading Patricia Heaton. Most notably, from Everybody Loves Raymond, who's become a very outspoken Christian in the last several years. She's reading.

So when you and that's just to name a few, when you look at that list and then I'm like, so how did I get on that list? I have no idea, but I'm humbled to be a part of it. I'm reading actually on Saturday night at six p.m., Hebrews four through seven. Wow, what a tremendous passage to be reading. Hebrews chapter 4, especially letting everyone know that they can call on God and come boldly before his throne.

I'm excited for you. David, maybe you can give us a little, for our listeners, a little background. How did this all come about? I understand a man by the name of Bunny Pounds just had a dream about this. Yeah, well, yeah, but it's a woman, a woman by the name of Bunny Pounds, who lives in the Dallas, Texas area.

She really envisioned this and had the resources to be able to bring it to light. And I I know Bunny just a little bit. Through other kind of political organizations that Bunny's involved in, and that Salem, and I personally am. Involved in. And so it was, you know, it was really a dream that she had.

That she was able to put into motion. And it's amazing. What she's put together. I mean, you painted it perfectly, right? It started last Saturday, it goes till 9 o'clock this Saturday.

Every day from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Just person after person after person, reading different chapters from the Bible, and they take a few breaks where they have some worship music and whatnot. And I don't even know what to expect. I'm very excited.

I'm actually. Currently, it's so funny. I'm currently in Las Vegas, Nevada. I couldn't get any further away from America Reads the Bible than to be in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm at the National Association of Broadcasters Convention, which happens this time every year, happens to be in Las Vegas.

So I'm there right now and I leave here on Wednesday morning to head to Washington, D.C. And then, of course, we'll be reading on Saturday, but every day, 12 hours a day, it's going on right now. It's quite amazing. And it's also televised, by the way, right? You could go to AmericareadsThe Bible.com and you'll see when you get to that home page that there's an opportunity for you to register and be able to watch it live.

Yeah. I see it's on Netflix, it's on Amazon Prime. I've been seeing some of it myself on Facebook. It is just, it is so incredible. as it's already started.

And and for someone like me, I absolutely love the Word of God. Nehemiah 8, it it's so when people are attentive to what God has to say, it is so transformative. Um Okay man. Robbie. Yeah, what happened in Nehemiah is spectacular, right?

I mean, the people repented on a gigantic scale. A lot of stuff that was going on at that point in time. And wouldn't it be amazing? Uh, as Dave was talking about, to see that kind of repentance here, especially again for such a time as this, and I know. In my own personal case, right?

I was saved by reading the Bible. Like, I picked up a series by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale that. Told me if I got up an hour early every morning and read the Bible, that I'd make me a better car salesman, which is what I'd originally ended up wanting to be. As it turned out, it changed everything radically for me just to read the Bible.

So I understand. It's like an amazing opportunity. as people um And they might hear. you know one scripture that sends them to the bible and they think man i got to read more of this and It's just going to, it's an amazing opportunity. I love the vision.

Uh You know, I've got to apologize that I made that mistake on Bunny. Yes, it she has a huge dream, and it's more than just people reading God's Word, it really is she's desiring revival. in our 250th year of celebration. And um Uh Dave Neb, would you know Tony Perkins? Of course, yeah.

Tony does a show with Speaker Johnson every week. Called This Week on Capitol Hill, and that show is on Salem. We actually produced that show, so I know Tony Wow. Yeah, he is going to be reading. And.

He has put out a great statement just about, again, the power of the Word of God to change, not. just lives, but the lives of a nation. And so we're going to be going to a break here, but we're asking the question: what would happen if America, Americans, read the Bible? We want your thoughts, 866-348-7884. We'll be right back.

Truth talk. How? Will you be different? In reading God's Word. How will America be different?

If Americans Red God's Word. That's our topic today on Truth Talk Live. I'm Dwayne Carson. And today we have David. I'm going to try to say this right, David.

I apologize, Centarelli. It's Dave Centrala. Dave Centrella, David. But Centrella is the last name, and gentlemen, I apologize. I had told you, producer.

that I could do this till about 1.15 today. Just based on other meetings I have.

So I'm going to have to wrap this up with you.

Soon, maybe that message took his eyes.

Okay.

Well, again, thank you for calling in. David is the president of Salem Media. And we just wanted to ask, real quick: how did you get invited to be a part of this?

Well, you know, I'm very, very honored, and my apologies for the background noise, as I said, I'm at this convention, and it's. I had to step out of my room and get head to a meeting, so I apologize for the noise. But um Uh Salem is a part of the NRB, the National Religious Broadcasters. Association and um The NRB was given, I think, four different um kind of times where they could pick somebody to read at this event. The NRB was kind enough to ask me if I would be willing to do it.

So, and by the way, guys, it is the King James. Version easy read edition is what it is. I don't know if you've ever looked at the King James Version Easy Read Edition. But it is uh Not an easy read.

So I am uh I'm so I I So, I would ask humbly for your prayers as I go there because I'm going to be with all these professional people that know how to. uh you know can probably handle it and i've gotta read um a lot of uh A lot of KJV language, so I could use your prayers for that. Did you get a choice with the passage that you'll be reading? No, they actually picked that passage for me, and I'm honored and humbled to be reading it. interesting because in Hebrews 7 Of course, you're armed with Salem median, if you're in the Hebrew 7, it talks about Melchizedek, the king of Salem, the king of peace.

So I'm honored that that's. And I don't know if that was by coincidence or by God's appointment. I'm thinking God's appointment. Yeah, I am too. I'm better than you.

It's been a pleasure. It's been a pleasure chatting with you. I'm so sorry that I need to hang up. But it's been a real pleasure chatting with you. Thank you for calling.

Well, Daniel to have you on, Mr. Santrella. Amazing. Thank you. Thank you, gentlemen.

Bye-bye. God bless. Bye-bye. Well, that is cool. Doc, I gotta tell you that Dave Santrella is is almost an icon in the Christian Radio World.

In fact, I'll bet you remember him. You know, we were at the Salem breakfast at the NRB. You know, in February, you might remember. Yes. And actually, he was, you know, the main speaker there.

Okay.

Okay.

As you heard his voice, I bet it sounded familiar to you. Yes. Yes. Um And so it's it's kind of neat. that you know again it's big stew No, for those of us knows too, Everson's father.

We call him Big Stew. was the chairman of the board of Salem. broadcasting and so you know he obviously Was instrumental in finding Dave and putting him in that position. And so. It's kind of neat to see.

you know how Because God has orchestrated all that, right? And God's word being central to what Salem has done in recent. years as you may know it you know they've sold off their music stations and and going fully with the teaching and talk format that we have here in the Truth Network. Um as a in a getting the you know the word of God out. And so I dearly love that.

Well, as you know with my ministry of Date the Word, I have a lot of different ways of conveying God's Word. And one of those is I have scary verses of the Bible. And um One of those verses is Hosea 4.16 where There is a famine of the word. And to hear that we're having leaders. From the president to speaker of the house, all kinds of different Christian leaders, not religious leaders, Christian leaders.

I think that's important who are reading God's Word because we've got to get back to the Bible. This famine cannot continue. We've got to get God's Word back into people's hearts. And. Through broadcasting like Truth Network, Salem Media.

That's one of the many avenues that's available. But. I I just I I'm hoping this will rekindle. A fire for people to want to open up God's Word again. And you know, Robbie, it is so accessible now.

Because of of like U version, you can download an app, you've got the Bible with you on your phone, and everybody seems to have a phone. Hey, Robbie, we've got Jamal. And I'm curious today from my friend Jamal. What do you think's going to happen, Jamal, if we would read our Bibles?

Well, I think we are going to have a revival, like you mentioned. Um once you hear God's word like they Like they heard it in the Great Awakening movie, people just melted. Then they heard that word and heard it powerfully. And I'm up to that also. You know, I got a very emotional.

several different times in that movie. But I would like to pose a question to you all for the doubters and for the skeptics. What would you say to people that say that we don't need to read the Bible, we're doing well without it? That's an outdated book, and we've moved past that. What would you say to people that would ask that kind of question?

Well, I'll let Robbie in in a second, but I'm going to say if they read God's word, they're going to get to Revelation and they're going to find out you who say you're rich. And have need of nothing, you're going to find out that you are poor and you are wretched and in need of everything. And so to say we don't need God's word is one of the biggest mistakes you could ever make. And I think Speaker Michael, Mike Jackson, Johnson, Mike Johnson, when he kicked this thing off the other night, he made a statement on that. He insisted that the reason our country is the most free, most successful, most powerful, most benevolent country that has ever been is because we are built upon these firm foundations, and the firm foundation he speaks of are the scriptures.

So Robbie, how would you I would say Um You know, I think I said it the other day. I don't know which program, but I. Before I read the Bible. If somebody had asked me if I had a friend in this world, I would have had to really think about it. I I I Essentially Felt unlovable.

I essentially didn't really even know what love was. And I'll never forget when I went to, after I read through the Bible, as I described, and I got saved. My wife and I decided to you know, go to this church. Um Which was Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh. And when we walked into that Sunday school room, and people started to actually.

talk to me and they seem to To care about me, and they didn't want to buy a car, doc. They just wanted. Ain't this They just wanted to be my friend, you know, and I didn't even. It was really a crazy feeling. Like, what is...

What is it I'm experiencing as I began to see the love of God through the people of God? But but also You know, the love that was poured out of me through the word. And so I would say, You know, man, here's a reason to read the Bible. Like, you can find out. You know, that you're needed and wanted and loved by God.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Jamal, I don't know if you can hang on or not, but we need to go to a break. Uh this is Truth Talk Live. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. I'm Dwayne Carson, and today we, along with Robbie Dillmore, were discussing the idea of what would happen.

if America reads the Bible. Um Robbie, I saw a statistic that said only 17% of Americans. have read from Cover to cover. Only 17%. And uh That needs to change.

I would be shocked if that number is accurate, actually. You know, it's hard for me to. You're thinking that's probably high. Yeah. Mm.

Wow, what up? What a say at state for our country, right? For our people. Um Our number is 866-348-7884. And we got Jamal on the phone.

As we think about That America, right now, based on an idea of a lady named Bunny Pounds. Is reading God's word. Started Saturday. We'll go through the 25th, 12 hours a day, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Different people have been selected. They're going to read portions of scripture, but they're going to read from Genesis. all the way to Revelation. They're going to read through numbers. They're going to read through 2 Chronicles.

The president's going to be reading 2 Chronicles chapter 7. I'm just curious if there's a caller out there. If you had a chance to read. at at at uh the let's just say they're I'm not sure where they're doing this, maybe they're doing it at the Museum of the Bible. If if you had a chance to read what passage would you want to read so that all Americans could hear God's Word.

Give us a call, 866-348-7884. And as well, how has reading God's Word impacted your life? And I come back to you, Jamal. You've asked that question. Um do we really need to, well, what do you think, Jamal?

Do we really need to be reading God's Word? Absolutely. As somebody that was. Just Uh knee deep. in their Christian faith.

Uh, you could probably say I was a Christian in name, only I had very little knowledge on the Bible, about the Christian walk. All of that stuff. But thank God for Scott Barton coming up to me in my truck and saying, Hey, you want to come to Winnie in the World Bible study? And my life has gone off on a different tra trajectory. Also, his good person invited me to listen to his network.

So I got fit. And I heard the Bible. I heard different applications of the Bible in the Christian faith. And I compared it to the ways of the world, what the world teaches. And I found the world lacking.

I found the world empty. They would say it was hollow. But when I read one of the first ones that really resonated with me, when I read Romans 8:28, Dr. Carson and Robbie Bill Moore. When God works everything out for his good to those that love him.

I said, well, if he works everything out, that means that he's in control of it all. And if he's in control of it all, he means he's he knows about everything. and even the bad and the good, that happens to me and everybody else. He's working it out.

So, why should I fear? Why should I doubt? That gave me a peace that the world just could not give me.

So, yes, this is what comes from reading the Bible, and the world definitely needs. to be reading the Bible. I love it. I was with a a person yesterday and they've uh experienced an injury. in regards to playing a high-level athletic sport.

And um They're saying I'm needing to spend a lot of time in Romans 8. Especially Romans 8:28. God's word has a word for us. And that's why it's so important to be in it. You just never know when you're going to come across a verse that's going to challenge how you believe.

Because it wants us to believe correctly, and it's going to challenge us how to behave. But it's also, it's going to be giving us instructions about information about who God is. And not only what he wants for us to be doing for him, but what he does for us. This book is just loaded with great information. That I I don't want to be in a world without God's word.

That's that's g kinda where I'm at. Amen. And just to jump in real quick and I'll let you guys go. Uh give me another book. That has changed humanity the way the Bible has.

There's no book. It's the most sold, most translated, most dissected book of all kinds. As a matter of fact, it's even increased in sales. There's no other book that changes men's and women's lives. lives like the bottles.

But uh I'll leave you with that. Thank God for Truth Network. Thank God for Robbie Dillmore and Dr. Carson. Stu Epison.

Love you all. Take care. God bless. Jamal, thanks for the call. Thank you, Jamal.

Yeah. Yeah, you know, I I f I I forget who it was. It may have been Sir Uh Walter Riley. That when he was dying, he said, bring me the book. And the man said what book, sir?

And he said There is only one book. The Bible Bring the Bible to me as I lie here dying. I want to read from. The only book they can talk to me about eternal life. And what a thought.

I mean, it does talk to us about our earthly living. But it gives us hope for eternal life. Uh we have On the show now, our friend from Dayton, Ohio. Mike, welcome to the show. What happens if America reads the Bible?

But you can't. I know what it done I know what it's done for me and my wife. It's changed our our lives. Tremendously. You know what I mean?

It's changed our marriage, changed our relationship with people, changed our heart for people, changed our. Um just change, change, change, you know, uh just it w it went from uh dark to light. And um And I thought it was my wife. My wife found, she's right next to me, and she found it on Facebook. And it says, America on the pulpit, it says, America's.

Uh change it uh reads the Bible. And it's really cool what they're doing on Facebook. And she's sitting right next to me watching it right now. And it's pretty interesting. And then I'm glad you're making this subject up.

For the viewers, if they want to look it up, it's on the Facebook and you can find it pretty fast and pretty easy. Yeah, you just go to the search bar and type in America Reads the Bible. On your Facebook, it'll bring it up. And what are they reading right now, Mike? There's still an.

Well, I think you can start from the beginning. And I don't know. My wife started from the beginning, and I think you can fi fast forward it to where they're reading. But I don't know for s she doesn't want us to she wants to see what they're reading, what it what they started from. And um Yeah.

But I know they're reading the whole Bible, and that was cool. You know, that is cool. And what she's watching right now. Is in Genesis.

Okay.

And so I'm sure that was at the beginning, you know, because it started Saturday, correct? Yes, sir. I was someone had told me that today they should be somewhere in numbers. Right. And Numbers 21 is just one of the great passages.

That's where Moses had to make the snake because people had been bitten by the snake, and if they would look, they would live. Look and live. And I heard a great message from Adrian Rogers on that. Numbers 21. Robbie, all the Bible points to Jesus.

Yeah, I would love I would love to know since we got Mike on the phone if You know, if you could pick a passage you got to read, Mike, what would you read? Yeah. Who? I knew you were going to ask that question. And listeners, that question goes up to you, 866-348-7884.

I'm giving Mike a moment to think, but we want to hear your thoughts on what you would read if given the chance to read God's Word aloud in Washington, D.C. as part of America Reads the Bible. 866-348-7884. All right, Mike, I've given you some time to think about what you would be reading. I would love to read.

Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. I was going to read what I was going to read while you're still thinking, Mike, but. I would read Song of Solomon chapter 2, verse.

Eight and nine, it says, The voice of my beloved, behold, he comes, leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a gazelle. or a young stag, behold. He stands behind our wall. He is looking through the windows.

He's gazing through the lattice. Aha. It always dumbfounds me that he loves me that much. That he is chasing after me like that. And um So that is definitely one that I Always makes my heart come alive.

But I'm sorry I interrupted you, my friend Mike. No, no, no. I love John. I just do. I think that's something about, you know, just reading the book of John and understanding.

you know, what Jesus done for us. You know what I mean? Yes. By understanding what Jesus has done for you is really you understand what how to love other people and how to love uh love one another. Um just because of uh because of that love for us.

And now you can love others. You know what I mean? It's not a commandment. It's a It's more of an understanding, you know what I mean? I would I would own I would say.

Yeah, we love him because he first loved us. We're not commanded to love him. Until we understand first and foremost, he loved Us. And that's, you know, to read the book of John, that's what you read. You read about God's incredible love, especially John 3.

Yeah. Hey Mike, hang on there. We've got Tiffany. From Jacksonville, Florida. Welcome to the show, Tiffany.

Hi, good evening. Thank you for taking my call. Yes, ma'am. I'm curious, wa w what would you be reading if you could read God's Word nationally? Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry to have to piggyback off your last caller, but I would definitely say John seventeen.

That resonates with me so much to think What Jesus was thinking of, not just the disciples, but what he was thinking of us today as he was praying. And as you read that, You feel his heart, you feel his pain, but you also feel his love. And just like the caller said, it is his love. The Bible is a love story, and it's not just a book of wounds. Tiffany, we're going to have to go to a quick break.

Hang tight. I want you. Welcome back to Troop Talk Live. We've got Mike from Dayton, Ohio. We've got Tiffany from Jacksonville, Florida.

I'm here in Winston-Salem along with Robbie Dillmore. And today we're talking about What would happen? If America, let's say it this way now, Americans would read God's word, the people of this great land. On the 250th anniversary, if they would read God's word, obey God's word, what could happen? And we're asking the question right now: if you got to read, what would you read?

And Tiffany is telling us about John 17. And Tiffany, I'm so sorry we had to go to a break, but you would. No, no, no. Oh, it was beautiful because this is the real Lord's Prayer, isn't it? Yes, this is our Lord and Savior, Jesus, who is the Christ.

This is his. His prayer for us, not just the disciples, but it was for us. He was thinking of us. before his betrayal, before his You know, before he was getting ready to go through that mock trial, and on his knees, our Lord and Savior was crying out for us. And so if I had the opportunity to read anything on a national level, it would definitely be John seventeen.

And even at the end of that, Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them. I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. And so that resonates. The Bible, as I was saying before, we went to commercial, it is a love story. It's not just a book of rules, it is God's love for us.

And I just, I, I. I think that a lot of times when we think about our families, we think about our children, we think about our spouses. It's about God's love. At the end of the day, it is because of his love that we are not consumed. And so, this book, John, this chapter, John 17, it touches me in such a personal way that I truly believe that if even if our teenagers ever got a revelation of what happened in John 17, even their hearts would be pricked.

um, to turn towards um the heart of God and towards Jesus.

Well, I so agree. Robbie, your thoughts on John seventeen. I think Tiffany boys, she's put her finger on one of the greatest chapters in the Bible. Oh, and I think is one as always, Doc, that the callers make the show. Yes.

And I am so grateful for her courage because I know it's not easy. To call in and share what part of God's word touched you. And I'd urge other people because I have just delighted in listening to her and listening. um to the spirit in her Right? You can hear it.

Sure, clear. She's been touched by that love, and that's obvious. Yeah, so we meet other callers at 866-348-7884. Tiffany, thank you for your call. Um So so, Mike, you're going to get into John.

Robbie, um Song of Solomon 2 Um we haven't heard from you, Doc. Where are you going? You know. It's it's you know what a love letter. There's so much to choose from, but uh I I I still I always find myself going back to Um Psalm 1.

No. Because if you can get someone, and this is where, you know, you talk about your story. I sat down at Bill and Bernie Crawford's kitchen table. Mrs. Crawford brought a cup of coffee and a piece of cake, and I had some questions about something called the rapture that I'd heard in church that night.

And I didn't know what in the world the preacher was talking about, but Bill kept saying amen. And so as I sat at his table thinking he's going to teach me about the rapture, he said, You got to get some other things in place before we can really talk about that. And I want you to go to Psalms 1. And he had me read it right there at his kitchen table. I'd never read Psalms 1.

And then he said, now it's only six verses, and when you come back here next Sunday night, now I didn't know I was coming back next Sunday night, but when you come back next Sunday night after church, I want you to quote it to me. And then Bill Crawford said these words, If you will read Psalm 1, You'll memorize Psalms 1. You'll do what it says. Meditate on God's Word day and night. It will give you the most incredible life.

Ever. And that's what happens in verse 3, where then you're planted by like a tree by rivers of water, and you bring forth fruit in your season. The leaf doesn't wither, and whatsoever you do will prosper. And he said, I want you to have a successful, not worldly life, but a successful spiritual life. And so I would want everyone to hear Psalms 1.

Yeah, that's beautiful, Doc, because I know you have lived that and as I have as well. That Psalm one, and fascinatingly, my the person that discipled me. Uh Ted Burton. It was exactly the same discussion. Like Robbie here, it was exactly the same.

And after I came to Christ and he began to disciple me, he said, Robbie, you got to memorize Psalm 1. And you couldn't be more right. That he has taken me on the most beautiful Life um Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, just to have a chance to be on this show with Mike and you and Tiffany and Jamal called in and David today. I mean, I'm so excited for David, the president of Salem Media.

He's going to be one of the readers. Wow. Right? Like, how, like, pinch us. How do we get to do this?

I mean, how fun is this? And I, you know, if we'd have known, you know. But it was just that, and God's word made all the difference in all our lives. It really, and it's his word. And I got to believe there's a listener or two out there right now who wants to call in 866-348-7884.

This is a live talk show, and you, the listener, you make this show.

So give us a call. We want to hear what do you think will happen? After they finish reading. on Saturday, April the 25th, when they wrap it up. Uh is this gonna be a Nehemiah 8 moment?

Um is there going to be repentance? Um We are so desperate. I know I am. I know many of you are for revival. And the revival that's got to take place is by getting back to God's Word and obeying God's Word.

So what do you think? And if you could read one passage, one chapter. Let us know 866-348-7884. Yeah, it's fun. Yeah.

Hey, Doc. Yeah, hey, Doc. I loved what you were talking about, the living waters. Living waters. Yeah, I mean that is that is I mean, it's not dead waters, it's not still waters like the Dead Sea.

it's it's the living waters it lives within you you know i mean once you once you get it in your spirit and once you start reading it it's just It's just unbelievable how living this Word of God is. And that's what's going to make revival because of what the Word of God does to people's heart. It just gets in them and it doesn't go away. It stays there. It's just that it's living waters, you know.

I love that. I love that verse. It's an awesome verse. There's a couple of songs that uh that I've listened to before that have living waters. And I it just it reminds me of, you know, how important to get into God's word to renew your mind, you know.

'Cause uh this this world is so bad about What they want to get in your mind, and the Word of God just loves you to death. you know, and changes your heart and changes your mind and And it it gives you a godly mind, you know, and go give you godly thoughts. The only way we keep from conforming to the world is by having the word of God in our lives, and that word being in transforms us and forces the world out. And that, I guess, I want to say this.

Sometimes we find ourselves not wanting to go to God's Word because It is so powerful. It's going to change us and it's going to reveal things. James calls it a mirror. It's going to point out things that are out of place. And then we've got to make decisions.

Okay, I'm looking in the mirror. I realize my hair is a mess. I realize there's stuff that needs to be wiped off my face. But, hey, I don't want to do anything about it. God's word is pointing out those things that need to change.

Now, before today. Doc before all the time. you know it is 420 and you you know talk about somebody's got the word in them Yeah. You know, I fully expect that we're, you know, I haven't heard all day. What's 420?

Well, you're going to love this. Proverbs 4.20 says, my son. Give attention to my words. Incline your ear to my sayings. I mean, is that just perfect for today?

Proverbs 4, 20. And we're coming up on Heart Awareness Day for Proverbs 4, 23. To guard your heart, the way to guard the heart is to fill it with the word of God. And so Solomon starts off with this plea to his son, hear my word.

So yes, Proverbs 420 for 420. Real quickly, the word is the deal. And Mike, tell them how can they see this? It's on Facebook. Oh, it's look up America Reads the Word.

Is that right? America Reads the Bible. Yeah, America Reads the Bible. Check that out, listeners. America Reads the Bible.
