It helps to have a truth partner, someone who encourages you. That asked you this question, which my friend who's on with me right now, Jesse Connors, he always says, Stu: How did you get a chance? How have you shared the truth? with someone Jesse yesterday. On the basketball court.
I was sweaty. I was tired. I had to get out of there. And a young man was shooting by himself, and God just led me and nudged me to talk to him.
Well, I started sharing the truth with him and I was kind of wanting to kind of slide out of there, you know, like, okay, you know, you know, folks aren't rude, but sometimes, you know, let's kind of, I got to get to my next thing and this and that.
Well, he kept asking me questions. Wow.
So everyone pray for James, my new friend. I gave him a share the truth card. I'm almost out of those, Jesse. But, Jesse, just a little conversation around basketball. I showed some care for him.
We talked about the game. We followed each other on Instagram, Instagram. But, Jesse, it's that easy, right? Like those, like those insurance company commercials, they used to say, even a caveman can do it.
Well, if you have Christ in you. You could share the good news with someone and it could change their life forever, Jesse. How did we get here? You know, someone share the truth with us, right, brother? That's and you know, they weren't ashamed to tell others about our Lord.
And that's the whole point is we have to help people. get equipped to go and and not be timid anymore. We see in uh this this beautiful passage in 2 Timothy chapter 1, verses 7, it says, For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity. Love and self-discipline. The very next verse says, so never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord.
It all wraps into the fact that we have fear and timidity when it comes to sharing our faith. But the power of love and, yes, self-discipline, those are fruits of the Spirit. We have to tap into that and sacrifice ourselves and our timidity and our fear and say, God, send me. And that's what Sue did. He made time for this conversation.
It didn't fit into his schedule, but he said, Lord, I know it's more important. That really goes right back into Mark chapter 4, verses 13 through 17, where it talks about how our seeds are to be sown and that we can't let the distractions in this world supersede seeding the evangelism message along so that we bring new life with the help of Christ, obviously. He's a central figure here, but we're able to bring. New life to people, true life to people. Amen.
And I love it. I love these. It makes it so easy when you're in a situation where, because a lot of the times it's, well, I'm intimidated.
Well, what if they're this super smart scientist? What if they're an atheist? What if they can. Out, thank me, out argue me.
Well, it's really not about you, first of all, like Jesse just said, but secondly, At true life.org or sharethetruthnow.com, Jesse. You have all the resources sitting there for them, right? You have all video. There's millions of answers that adapt specifically to who they are.
So when they're getting this card, they can get millions of answers to their questions from a conservative biblical worldview. But it also eliminates the fear that the people that are sharing their faith have about being asked those questions, Stu. Wow, I love it. And you know, if you have a video of someone saying, here's how to graciously share the gospel with a Muslim who has questions about the Trinity, here's how to share the gospel with someone who's a Mormon who. Who, you know, and it's how why the Bible is the authority and not the Book of Mormon, you know, things like that.
And then how to do it in love and how to do it. You know, because the idea of the gospel and the idea of evangelism in what Jesus taught us to do is not about winning arguments, Jesse. It's about winning souls. Jesse, what's your challenge to everyone in love? What's your challenge to everyone in the new year?
You know, they can make one phone call. This is New Year. Start it off. They can order 200 cards. You have some gracious donors who have said, hey, I'll pay for the cards.
And we've had gracious donors that listen to us because we depend on these gifts of people that help us get the word out. We're just getting the word of God out.
So people, your gift, your prayers, your support, even when you order those cards and we pay for them, you are contributing toward advancing the gospel. It's about. Not an ROI, return on investment. It's return on ROE, return on eternity.
So, Jesse, give us a challenge coming in the new year to come out. We want to come out swinging for Jesus, man. That's right. Absolutely. Absolutely.
You know, I just want to hit, I want to just talk about the BEMA seat really fast because the BEMA seat is where we go before the Lord and He looks at our life and he is going to ask us a primary question is going to be, were you my witness for not for him? And now, this is not in Christian teaching.
So, although it's in Christian doctrine, all over the place in the Bible, this all over. But on the BEMA seat, there isn't a lot of teaching on this. And I think it's because Satan doesn't want us to keep this a focal point, that we are going to be face to face with God, held accountable for how we drove the bodies that God gave us to drive for him. And he's going to say, Hey, listen, how did you drive your body? And did you, were you my witnesses or not?

So, this is a blaring error in Christian doctrine today, where we have to be teaching the BEMAC. We do life insurance policies, we talk about heaven, but the entrance to heaven is every believer is before the Lord. He's going to ask us those questions.

So, you're a BEMA seat ready. Jesus Malox. It goes back to what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9. He says, we're running the race to win. We're not we're not right.
You know, we're when I get on the basketball court. I don't care how friendly it is, and it all, you know, it is. There's a good tone, some great guys I play with, but we're trying to win games. You know, we're trying, I'm not just out there. I mean, I'm out there to get exercise, yes.
But the Christian life isn't about a participation trophy. But it's also not some cutthroat. You know, I'm me against you, you against me thing. But we are competing in a spiritual warfare. This is not a cruise ship.
This is a battleship that we're on. Yes. And listen, friends, everyone listening, either you're a missionary. Or you're a mission field.
