And I, you know, I got the most amazing birthday present this morning from God. I got to tell you. I was studying Romans chapter. 10, and I started to look at this word grace, and I saw how cool it was that grace is involved in all these gifts. And God just gave me this picture that.

Man. And so when I was, I went in and I asked Randy this question. I said, what would if you could describe the power of the Bible in what word would that be? And Randy looked at me and he said, Grace. And I said, oh man, you hit me right between the eyes.

So how about you if you could describe the power. Of the Bible. And I'm so grateful for each and everyone listening today, all my friends. And I would just be blessed to have you call in and share that. But one of my friends that is here today with us, speaking of the power of the Bible, is Michael Woolworth.

And You know. They are all about. the power of the Bible.

So Michael, the Bible League's trying to reach 1.8 Or I guess they already have reached 1.8 million worldwide. And you're reaching out for more. We've got to get more Bibles in more hands, right?

Well, Robbie, I'm delighted it's your birthday. Happy birthday, brother. You've been a great friend of Bible League over many, many years. You and I have worked together. I think on maybe this is our 12th campaign together.

And together, we've seen literally thousands and thousands of Bibles reach empty, waiting hands all over the world. Believers that thought they'd never have a Bible now have God's Word. They're using those Bibles to make much of Him, to appoint others. To the gospel. And, you know, Robbie, we're back this fall.

Campaign's called The World Needs the Word. We are officially done this Sunday, November 2nd. That comes after a very generous one-week extension given to us by the good folks at Truth Network, who believe so strongly, saying, Look, we need to get to this goal to bless 3,500 waiting believers that we know by name at Bible League. And so, Robbie, we've seen just north of 1,800 Bibles given.

So, we're well past the halfway mark. We've got the final 1,700 to go. And I'm so grateful to be on with you today. Number one, to help celebrate your birthday, to talk about how precious. My God is.

Well I was going to say grace, but uh that was taken. Yeah. Isn't it? I mean it is you know, his favor that we had it and those you know, unbelievable seven thousand Biblist believers that that could have something like this in a over the next hour or two is just blows my mind. That's grace.

But You know what? you know, his favor is just m more than amazing. But how about you what word would you use?

Well, uh See, God spoke through you to me, Robbie, as uh uh favor and and and grace To where it is not something that we earn. We don't earn that favor or grace. But through the Bible And through salvation, we can earn that grace. And before we continue, because I know how I can go on. I also want to share in your happy birthday wishes Great happy birthday to you, brother.

Love you. You're doing so much for so many people.

So I just had to call in and Say happy birthday to you on Airways. I'm so grateful, Jamal, and so gr grateful for your friendship and You know, as I was talking about, that idea of grace that is talked about in Romans 10, when you look at it, he's talking about the spiritual gifts, and I never saw it before. That He was saying that he was given this gift free that we're talking about. And so through that He he would give gifts. that were given to him.

It's like he was the middleman, you know, almost like He was giving it so he could give it through the way he would, his grace for people. Like, you are my absolute favorite. I absolutely love you. And because of that,. Let me show you what I've learned in the Bible.

Mm-hmm. And then they would receive that grace and then pass it on in the same grace. Right? Because it is by one. Grace, more than absolutely amazing that we get to do that.

And so now that people have had a chance to think about it, I know Randy, Randy wasn't there for that episode.

Randy, have you given it. Randy wasn't there. You know, Randy, what do you think? Why did the chicken chill it? fall into the well.

He doesn't have any idea.

God bless you. my friends i love you too thank you god bless you Well, Mike. I'm grateful for your patience. I enjoy that kind of thing, and you know I do, but I don't enjoy it near as much as the thought of the face. Of somebody that has never had a Bible all of a sudden to have it, and they get to read something like I read this morning and just light up with the Spirit of God.

And what an honor. I mean, I really, really mean that. What an honor we have to share in this campaign with you guys. Put those Bibles in people's hands. And it has been a joy for all the campaigns that we've shared together.

And I'm so excited that. We can't ch chance to do it again today.

Well, Robbie, you've been a great friend of Bible League. You know, as I say, we got together only a few weeks ago. We said, look, if putting Bibles into the hands Of Bibleist believers all over the world, that that's arguably like the top issue facing the global church, the new believers. Our deny God's word. We said, let's do something about it.

So during the month of October, we've been plugging away at this goal, Robbie. Again, 3,500. That's where our efforts and our prayers are focused. We've seen just north of 1,800 taken care of.

So we're taking care of the final 1700. We've got to do it by this Sunday, November 2nd.

So when you set your clocks back. Think about making a gift, right? Let me suggest a couple things. Number one, it's still Pastor Appreciation Month. If you make a gift today in honor of your pastor, Bible League will send a card to your pastor and make sure that he knows That you've made those in his honor.

And let me take that a step further. It is the birthday of my dear friend, Robbie Dilmore. If you make one. In Robbie's honor, we'll make sure he knows that today. But again, Robbie, it takes a $5 gift.

To do that today. And again, $60 will take care of a dozen waiting believers. You know, I think of kind of the word that describes the Bible's power. For me, Robbie, I think that's transformative. It is a transformative power.

We see people that leave all the isms of the world, right, that are in the grips of spiritual darkness. They don't know Jesus, they have no idea. What eternal life and the life of a believer is all about. But boy, the Holy Spirit comes, changes them. Your listeners put Bibles into their hands and they do some pretty amazing stuff.

I know we're going to go to break in a couple of minutes. Can I give you a quick story of Bible meeting in Venezuela? Yeah, let me take you to Venezuela, just outside the capital. Because they're Robbie, the drug cartels tend to run everything down there. They run a lot of drugs.

They create prostitution rings. That's an opportunity for them to funnel a lot of drugs. But when they do that, they will force young women, even as young as 11, 12 years of age, into prostitution. Robbie, there's a church down there that said, look, we're fed up with this. We've got to do something about it.

So they worked with another ministry to learn how to forcibly rescue these women from the grips of human trafficking. But they worked with Bible League to learn how to introduce these women to the hope of the gospel once they were in a place of safety. And Robbie, I can tell you this church has paid dearly for the conviction they have to rescue these women. One of the members of that church was murdered by the cartel in the course of a rescue. They dragged his corpse behind a truck down one of the main streets just outside of Caracas to send a message.

Don't mess with the drug cartel. But this church stays clearly focused on what they believe God has called them to. And they have seen about 120 women, 120 women rescued from the grips of human trafficking from the drug cartel down there. Those women are in a place of safety. Robbie, in recent months, they've been introduced to the hope of the gospel through a Bible study from Bible League that takes them through, I call it Christianity 101 and the Gospel of John paired together.

And so those women, again, are ready for a new life rooted in freedom. Again, they're still in a place where it's extremely dangerous. But, Robbie, they're not praying for our pity today. They're not asking for our protections. They're praying for the precious word of God.

And again, it happens at $5 a Bible.

So 120 Bibles in the Spanish language needed right now in Venezuela. Church is on fire for Jesus. They're working with Bible League. We're able to introduce these women to the hope of the gospel. 120 are now members of our spiritual.

Family. And Robbie, I'm praying that on your birthday today, we can bless all 120 of these women who are members of our spiritual family with their very own Bibles today. Yeah, how cool is that? And it's so easy. I mean, I If you go to truthnetwork.com, you can see the Bible League banner.

That we get to see these ladies, man, their lives have been turned upside down.

We've had so many talks over the years. And I just, it's so exciting to think. Of You know, the freedom they're going to get when Satan so badly wanted to put him into slavery.

In so many ways, because that, that. Sexual slavery, unfortunately, leads to all sorts of spiritual slavery. that that they can be set free of With that Bible, with the people there, with that church that loves God to such an extent that they are willing to lose their life. for the sake of the gospel. I mean, that's some powerful stuff, Mike.

I i Uh my it's just unbelievably um Yeah, I was sitting there thinking about that poor man. and drug through the church. And what the Carl Tell didn't realize is that you c you you could take away his life, man. But but you can't take away his freedom because he he is He it he Um Is a hero. Right, forever.

Well, he really is. And Robbie, what we're asking your listeners to do really is no less important than what those heroes of the faith are doing on the ground in a place like Venezuela, right? It's putting the precious word of God into the, again, empty waiting hands of these believers today. Before we go to break, let me say thanks to Connie of Utah. She said, I'm in for twenty Bibles.

Stephen listening in North Carolina today said I'm in for 40 Bibles, a $200 gift. Matthew of South Carolina said Michael Robbie, count me in for a dozen Bibles. I guess second that We are In the midst of we need 1700 Bibles, apparently, at this point in time, that the people are waiting, and we have a matching gift.

Well, when we're done Sunday, Robbie, and we see 3,500 Bibles on their way, those Friends of Bible League will double that. That'll take that to 7,000.

So that's the impact we can have right now. And again, Sunday is the final day. You know, I love what you're saying. Where would we be without our Bibles? Robbie, in the day-to-day.

And this doesn't matter if you're listening in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, or in Venezuela, or deep in the heart of Africa. I'll take you to Malawi here in just a moment. But the enemy does what? Rushes us, worries us, condemns us, right? But when you open the pages of Scripture, God through the Holy Spirit does what?

Draws us to Himself. He leads us. Certainly convicts us where needed, right? But there's a sense of calmness that comes And Robbie, you and I can get that calmness, if you will. We can see that come into our lives.

Every single day, right? But the believers that we've been talking about over the last four weeks. Have never read a single verse in their own Bibles. Why? They're eagerly awaiting their very own copy of God's Word.

side happy because Because of uh fulfilling or the Developing their character. I love that. Yeah, I do too. I do too. It certainly feels like that to me, as our dear friends, like you, Mike, honestly.

Um That that's a pretty fulfilling thing too. But to have you know, have them both. It's beyond cool. And when I think about the Bible League, my both mics. You know, it's not just a Bible that's coming out of a post office box somewhere, an Amazon truck, dropping it off.

There's a church involved, and there's people there to love those people, disciple those people, and guide them, right? As people guided you, Mike, as people guided me. An amazing thing, right? It is amazing. Then I'm gonna when I get off the phone, I'm gonna click on that banner myself and And give and um I use my You're welcome.

And I feel in my heart that that is what needs to happen and um I hope I encourage some other believers to do the same.

So, and happy birthday, Robbie. Thank you, Mike. Yeah, that is amazing. 70 years. That's fun, isn't it?

So Michael, what if what have where are we going now?

Well, let me take you to Malawi, Africa. You know, I love that. You know, the Bible is transformative. It's full of grace, right? I love what that brother mentioned.

You know, let me tell you about a thousand people right now whose lives are being transformed by the grace of God, right? They need the precious word of God. Let me take you to the Zalika refugee camp in Malawi, Africa. Rami, Africa has the highest number of refugees in the world, 50 million refugees. Wow.

Displaced from their homelands, likely to never return. A lot of those are seeking asylum. Their future is so uncertain. They end up at this Zalika refugee camp, UN-funded. It's a place of total chaos.

I saw a documentary on this, I think it was PBS, two months ago, that talked about the total chaos that defines the Zulika refugee camp. There's poor sanitation. People get sick. They die. There's people groups here that hate each other.

There have been assaults, even murders, right?

So again, a total chaos, 60,000 men, women, and children packed into a place. designed for about ten thousand But Robbie, there were a number of churches in the Malawi area that said, look, we've got to take the hope of the gospel into this place.

So they began to work with Bible League. We've made available in the languages of Kurundi, French, and Swahili Bible studies from Bible League. And Robbie, this is mainly how we achieve our ministry around the world. People come to saving faith, they're trained to share culture. Christ with others.

They invite people to come learn about Him through a weekly Bible study. And that's exactly what these churches did. They would form about 50 studies, about 40 to 50 people each.

Some of those exclusive to men, some exclusive to women. But I can tell you today, by the grace of God and the gumption of those churches going into a very, very unsafe place. They have seen a thousand people come to Christ in recent weeks. Robbie, that's a thousand people that have said yes to Jesus. And one of those is a woman by the name of Miriam.

Her husband died in that camp, leaving her a widow of about three children: three, five, and seven. Was assaulted. Things got bad for her. She said, I'm going to take my life and pray that somebody will assume. Care of my kids.

But Robbie, there was a Christian that invited her to one of those studies. Miriam went week by week, was faithful, has been turned on to the hope of the gospel. Today, she's a believer praying for a Bible in the Kurundi language to raise her children to know and love Jesus and then to grow in the grace and knowledge. Of Jesus. And Robbie, what's cool about this Zalika refugee camp, UN funded.

Is that the mainstream media that's been following this cannot deny the gospel is truly transforming lives. See, there's that word, right? Transformative. They have said, look, there's pockets of calmness and order coming to that camp. And again, they know the gospel is changing lives.

But I mean, there's a thousand people right now that could benefit from your generosity. It happens at $5 a Bible. It's part of this kind of remaining $1,700 that we need to take care of. By this Sunday, November 2nd. Listeners, let me say.

And and You know, when I get to heaven, I suppose I'll meet him and I'll go, Hey, look, look what happened, man. You blessed me, so I could bless so many others.

You know, I love one of the quotes that he said. He certainly said many things that were noteworthy, but he said, if I examine myself, I find enough unholiness to shock me. But when I look at Christ in me, I find that I am altogether holy. Martin Luther, right, who sparked the Protestant Reformation 508 years ago, October 31st, 1517. And then Robbie William Pyndell, who translated the English Bible so that you and I could read for ourselves, the just shall live by faith, was strangled, right?

Burned at the stake for his work. In translating the Bible.

So, this precious book that we hold very, very dear is coming at a great price. And there are believers around the world today not asking for our pity. They're not asking for our protections in places like Venezuela or Malawi, Africa. What are they praying for? It's simply the precious word of God, and it happens at only $5 a Bible today.

Like Martin Luther, Martin Luther saw his unholiness because the scripture showed him what the standard was, but then it showed him how he could be made holy through the blood of Christ, which came at such a precious price. Well, as we wrap up, Robbie, let me just mention the names of three people, three fellow believers praying for Bibles today. I'll be quick with this. Dorcas is a widowed mother of three near Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Very sadly, her husband was murdered by the El-Shabaab terrorist cell. Dorcas received Christ after walking two hours each way to an evangelistic service led by a Bible League-trained evangelist near her village today.

She's praying for a Bible. Vishnu is 30, lives near New Delhi, India, was beaten by Hindu extremists when he became a believer. He's married to Chandra. They have three children. They want to raise them to know and love Jesus.

They're praying for a Hindi language Bible. And then one more, Yousuf is a cobbler, a shoemaker in Pakistan, not the most. Christ-friendly country in the world, right? But he became a believer. And after doing so, his entire family shunned him.

They said, We want nothing to do with you now that you follow Christ. But he's awaiting his very first Bible in the Urdu language. And then, Robbie, some of your wonderful Truth Talk and Truth Network listeners doing something about it today. Connie in Utah said, I'm in for 20 Bibles. Stephen of North Carolina said, count me in a $200 gift today for 40 Bibles.

And then Matthew in South Carolina said, Robbie, Michael, I'm in at a dozen Bibles.

So, Robbie, we've seen more than 50% of the need met. We want to do this for 3,500 Bible-speaking believers that we know by name. Sunday really is our final day to do this. In fact, we've been given a one-week extension to get this goal met. And it's a pastor appreciation month.

Um they are high and lifted up. You know, he he went from this place of seeing himself as an a a person of unclean lips. to then being healed and then the next thing is, you know, here am I, send me. You know, because you're asking who who You know, who wants to step up in this particular situation? And as God makes you aware that this is your particular situation, you get a chance to say, Who am I?

Send me. And that's a really You know, it's really beyond cool that we get to Um take part in what he's doing. And clearly, when you hear about what Bible League is doing, because I think some of the amazing things that blow me away. You hear that these Bibles are coming to these folks in their native language. Right?

I I I can't imagine if I received uh uh uh a Bible in Dutch or whatever the Language that they speak in Amsterdam. I think it's Dutch. You know, that wouldn't do me a whole lot of good. I'd have to really, really study it to figure it out. But to get it in English, in a translation that I understand, as I begin to grasp the word of God, what does that mean?

And again, for $5, you know, you're getting the translation, you're getting all that stuff done, and it's shipped and everything, and it's put in their hands by somebody that will disciple them. It's not, it's like, it's. To me, it's so much more than just the Bible. Right. It's a distribution system.

It's the translations. And again, it's the discipleship. It's all and again, when you hear of the Bible studies, right, these people, it blows me away that here they are in a, you know, in this. camp with refugees all over the place. And here's Bible League putting on these Bible studies.

And obviously they're having to fund you know all those people being able to take care of themselves in that. And man, you think about what God's doing around the world, and we get a chance to take part in that. It's it's a real honor and a blessing. And there you go. 800, yes word, 1-800.
