This is Peter Rosenberger. Glad to be with you today, 866-34-TRUTH. Eight six six three four eight seventy eight 84 if you want to be a part of the program, 866-34-4. Truth. I had an interesting conversation.
with a friend of mine recently and He was struggling with something a a thought that he had about the book of Revelation. You ever you ever struggle with the book of Revelation? You ever feel like that is a a challenging book to Explore A lot of people do Bible studies on it, and he was going through that, and he had asked a question at a Bible study. and it created a little bit of a furor and he asked me what I thought of it. And it took me a while to understand exactly what he was saying, but I got to the bottom of it.
But the the crux of it was this The signs and the dramatic things that Revelation list and describe. He seemed to feel that People would go through that. And that would somehow convince them to go to their Bible. And become Christians. That would be enough.
They're going to get to see all that firsthand, and that's going to be enough for some people to convince them to become Christians. They're going to. Go ahead and believe that God's word is true because they're seeing it. And he felt like that was unfair. to all the millions and millions of people who have died.
In history, who didn't get to see all that, and it feels like that would be unfair to them because they didn't get to see that kind of evidence. And He used the whole conversation with Jesus to Thomas, Blessed are you for you believe because you see, but blessed are those who don't see and they believe. And he stopped, you know, he was really struggling with that whole concept, but he thought this would be unfair and even used to the point where some would go to hell on a technicality because they didn't get to see enough evidence.
Now that that was the the opening salvo of his dilemma. that he was struggling with.
Now let's just take a moment here. And ask a question. Do you see anything wrong? With so far his objection. You see anything that causes a bit of a red flag.
All right. If you do, feel free to call in 866-34-TRUTH, 866-348-7884. And I kept. Talking to him and questioning him about, okay, well, where do you see this in Scripture? And are you saying that God is unfortunate?
Fair. that he would be also unjust to send certain people to hell, If they didn't get to see all the dramatic things that you're thinking they're going to see in the book of those who lived through the end time of the Revelation time. Do you see do you see how convoluted this got?
So it took me a while to to dig out and ferret out a little bit what What what was his real objection? What do you think his real objection was? Before I go too fur too much further, what do you think? that he was struggling with.
Again, and this is on the heels of what happened with Charlie Kirk. We're seeing more and more people where you engage in debate with people, you ask questions, and you have to really work at it to see what's the root issue, because they'll throw a lot of stuff on the surface.
Well, what about this?

What about this? but at the core of it are a finite set of issues. That are universal. to mankind. At the top of that list of finite issues.
that everyone deals with. Is this basic distrust of God? We don't trust it. That is the nature of sin. This is what happened in the garden.
This is what happens every day. All around the world. all the time. We don't trust God. We don't believe him.
we do not take him at his word. And so we will assign to him Our attributes.
Well, we wouldn't do that. That's not fair. I have yet to see anywhere in Scripture where it says that God is fair. I have yet to see that. I see many, many, many examples.
where he doesn't show Fairness to certain things. Certainly wasn't fair to Uriah. What happened to him? Certainly wasn't fair what happened to Abel. And I can just go through the list.
All those babies that were killed in Bethlehem. It wasn't fair.
So, I don't see anywhere in scripture where God says fair, particularly as we understand it. But now the question is, is he just? Do you believe that? Do you believe that God is just, that that is one of the immutable characteristics of God? that he's just.
That his justice is perfect. And when he said you know, some people are going to go to hell on the technicality and I corrected him on that. I said First off, are you telling me that God is going to send somebody to hell? unjustly. Do you want to have that conversation with God?
Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey, God If you had shown me a little bit more I would have believed. And I said, you know, there were probably a lot of people calling out. God save me. as they were scratching at the the sides of the ark.
They didn't believe. They didn't believe no, they probably mocked him. But when the rain came, But it wasn't saving. Faith, was it? And believing in God is much different than believing.
God, Genesis 15, Abraham believed God. And it was accounted to him as righteousness. James says, You say you believe in God?
Well, congratulations, the demons believe in God. You're qualified to be a demon. if you believe in God. They know. They know God exists.
The question is, do you take him at his word? Do you believe his word? And as long as we have this underlying sense of distrust, of God. We will never be able to deal with the root problem. which is our sin.
And sin is a bigger problem than we think it is, and we do not understand the character of God. Those two things are hand in hand. Sin is a much bigger problem. than we think it is. And we don't understand the character of God.
People say: well, why does he allow these bad things? Why does he do this? Why does he do this? Again, Context here. My wife's had ninety eight surgeries.
Both of her legs are gone, and she lives with an enormous amount of pain. I've asked the why questions. I probably have asked more than most people have. But I've also come to an understanding of something. Why does he show mercy?
I understand why bad things happen. Sin in this world, this world is broken, fallen, filled with sin and evil people. what I can't wrap my mind around. Is why does he show mercy? God never sends anyone to hell unjustly.
If you're saying that he does. Then you're saying God is unjust, and if God is unjust, Woe unto us. But if God is just Woe unto us. And the only thing we can throw ourselves at. The only hope we have is the mercy that He gave us through Christ.
In his mercy. He Redeems. I have no idea why he does this. I have no idea. And there's some people who say, well, God, I can't believe God would randomly create people to go to hell and randomly save people.
I asked the question very simply. what makes you think he randomly does anything? And then another statement this friend made. He said, Well, I believe God's trying to save as many people as he can.
Well, wait a minute.
Well, God doesn't try to do anything, does he? Does God try to do something? Is he constrained by me? Am I the one that is...
somehow thwarting his will? Are you? Is that how this works? Is that what Scripture teaches? It was a robust conversation, I promise you.
We're going to talk more about it as the show unfolds, and I'd like to hear your thoughts. What would you say in a situation like this? I'll tell you a little bit more of what I said when we come back from the break, but but I'm I'm curious to know what you would say. What are your thoughts? When somebody says that, well, you know, uh, that's unfair.
That's unfair. God wouldn't just do this, and that's unfair to these people who didn't get to see these signs and wonders, and that's, you know, all those kinds of things. Those are the objections. That's what was going on in this conversation. What are your thoughts on this?

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. This is Peter Rosenberger. Glad to be with you, 866. 34 TRUTH 866-348 78, 84. We're talking about responding to people who make these statements based on.
There understanding imprinted On God. not their understanding of God, their understanding imprinted On God.
Well, this makes sense to me, so therefore it must be right. And the answer is. To respond to all that is always, well, what does the scripture say?
So this Gentleman, I was having a conversation with was struggling because he's like, Well, that's not fair. God showing all these great signs and wonders. People are going to see that. They're going to go to their Bible, they're going to become a Christian. What's wrong with that statement?
What's wrong with that statement? Signs and Wonders Do they make people a Christian? You give enough signs and wonders. And then you'll accept Christ? Is is that Sound doctrine?
Is that what Scripture teaches? If you remember Jesus uh saved all of his outrage. For these people That were asking for more signs and wonders. Go back and look at it. He said, You brood of vipers.
He said, You're always looking for signs and wonders. The greatest sign of all was right in front of them. And they wouldn't see him. You know, there were people that spent forty years. going through the desert, eating manna every day, collecting it, Six days a week, twice on the s on on the sixth day.
Or double the portion. And they did that for decades. They watched God split the sea. They watched God do this and that and this and that. And they still, and some of those people still didn't believe.
What's the difference? What's the difference? Why why? And these are questions I think that are worthy of asking. I've been seeing a lot of the videos of Charlie Kirk, and that's certainly top of mind awareness for a lot of people.
And the. The thing that he did is the Socratic method, which is to ask a question. But it didn't start with Socrates, it started with God. Adam Where are you? Who told you you were naked?
You see that? Where said to Cain, where's your brother? Asking the question. Is key. Do we ask questions of one another?
Not to be combative. But but when my friend said, you know, well, I think that's unfair. God's going to send people to hell on a technicality, I said, Do you think God is unjust? Oh, well, well, no, no, you're okay. if God is just.
And I said the last block: if he's unjust, we got a real problem. But if he's just We got a real problem. because we all deserve. Punishment. We all deserve hell.
Not one of us is righteous. And we can't save ourselves.
So, what are we going to do? What what what Where's the play it? And and we think, okay, well, we're gonna You know, if we have enough evidence, we'll figure this out. But is that the case? God, you didn't show me enough evidence.
You didn't show me enough, God. Go back and look at Romans 1. For since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
Now think about that phrase for a moment. His invisible attributes are clearly seen. It sounds like a contradiction.
So you stop and think about what what is Paul saying there? He's pointing out that creation itself is the canvas. We're God's fingerprints. Show up. We don't see God directly with our physical eyes, but His qualities.
His attributes That's what Paul said. His power, his wisdom, his eternality, his majesty, those are on display everywhere we look. Psalm 19:1. The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows his handiwork. Do we need more?
Does scripture say we need more evidence than that? Because it says Even people who have never even heard about Jesus are still not going to be with that excuse. I mean, there it is, right there in the text. What do we do about that? What do we say to that?
So my friend's objection was: well, they're going to see these Crazy beast, and you know, the scorpions, and this, and that, and that, and And They're gonna say Wow, that Bible stuff's really true. We need to accept Jesus. Is that what happens? Is that how it works? Is that what happened with you?
When you became a believer? What what was your story? What changed for you. And the thing that I go back to is Lazarus. If you'll notice.
Lazarus Jesus didn't invite Lazarus to come out of the tomb. He didn't argue with him. He didn't give him a sign in wonder. He called him out of death. Paul said we're spiritually dead.
We're spiritually dead. Do we understand what that means? Corpses don't See.
So even if it's right in front of them, they're not going to want to see it. Because they they can't. They're in their sin. And their sin rejects The truth. It's what it says.
It's what it says in Scripture. Not my opinion. My opinion is irrelevant. And I think that's the lesson that we learn from, particularly with most recently with Charlie Kirk, but that. our opinion is irrelevant.

You ever heard somebody say, just give me Jesus? I don't need doctrine. Just give me Jesus. I've actually heard people say that. Have you ever heard that?
It always strikes me as kind of Odd because you asked th what's the natural question?
Well, who is Jesus? You know, Jimmy Kimmel came on television the other night after being suspended, and he was crying, and he said he follows the teachings of Jesus. Which ones? You don't mind if I ask a question, do you? Which teachings?
Jesus said, before Abraham was, I am. Does he follow that one? Jesus said, No man comes to the Father. But through the sun. Does he follow that one?
That sounded really good on television. I follow the teachings of Jesus. But the teachings of Jesus. said that he was God. And that he was the only way.
to the father. Is he following those? It's a good question, don't you think? That's That's what we're called to do, is to speak into this with clarity. I don't have to be combative.
I'm just simply saying, well, tell me who Jesus is. If you say, just give me Jesus, don't give me doctrine. Just give me Jesus. Well, who is Jesus? And the moment you start talking about who Jesus is, Now we're having a con a conversation about doctrine.
And the modern church is we we got a problem with this, don't you? Does it not seem that way to you that we've traded in catechism for catch phrases? Catechism, that statement of belief. What do you believe? And we got these catchphrases like, you ever heard this one?
God has a wonderful plan for your life? Does that apply universally? He didn't have one for Judas. Who was a devil from the beginning? Is Judas the only one?
We heard this with the whole thing with Chip and Joanna Gaines recently. Don't judge. Judge not. Don't judge. You ever heard of that one?
We get this one a lot. People come up to us and say, everything happens for a reason. You know, as Gracie's going into her 90 something surgery. And I'm like, well, thank you, Captain Obvious. You know That Wow, I d I dear diary, I'm gonna write that one down.

Yeah. if you want to be a part of the program. And the whole theme that I'm Dealing with today because I've been thinking about this a lot and I thought, well, maybe. You are as well. And if you haven't been, maybe it's something that will make you take a moment's pause and say, you know what?
I heard somebody else say that. kind of thing. that we try to reason out God's Decisions on these things, and we put our value systems on God, and then we accuse Him of not being fair. And this is the human condition, basically. Lord, if I had only known Well, if I you know I didn't know.
When did I see you? Like this, Lord. And we do these things and then We we create this thought process that takes us down very dark paths. And it always comes back to: well, what does Scripture say? Do you get a sense that um Well, let me back up.
In the Reformation, when when the Reformation happened, Um People were not necessarily illiterate. But they were biblically illiterate.
Now why was that? Because the scriptures were in three different languages that most people were not educated enough to to to know. Greek? Hebrew. or Latin.
And they were held almost exclusively. in the purview of the the the church. And priest.
So the people didn't even understand the text. They had to rely on people to tell them what it was. And so they were biblically illiterate. And a lot of that changed when the printing press was uh was made. Luther translated the the scriptures into German.
and Wycliffe into um English. And uh They and they paid a steep price for it. And there were they were brutal repercussions.
Some were tortured. And killed, and others were excommunicated. And I don't think we understood the weight of what excommunication meant to them, what it really means, which means is the church is saying with the authority of the church, you're going to hell. That's what it meant. And Luther turned right around and said to the church, he says, no, I'm excommunicating you.
Um so it it's it's b There's a lot of contentious history. That is worthy of our time to go back and explore to see what happened. But when people started seeing the Bible in their own language and being able to understand it for themselves, there was an explosion. that took place Fast forward to where we are today. Over you know, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years later.
Do you think we're biblically illiterate? As a people? Do you think that's... part of what's going on? Do you get the sense that people across our Country?
And around the world, Don't know the scriptures? They know the top forty. that they hear all the time. You know, Jeremiah 29, 11. E everybody knows that one?
You know, I know the plans that I have for you. says the Lord to prosper you. But you know, that that scripture was not written for people that were pursuing an entrepreneurial dream. It was written to exiles facing seventy years. of captivity.
And God says, be still. Stay there. I'll come get you when I'm ready, for I know the plans that I have for you. Context matters, doesn't it? We don't know that if we don't know the scriptures, we know Jeremiah 29:11.
We don't know Jeremiah 29:1 through 10. And those are important scriptures to know. And when we don't know our scripture, guess what happens? Bad theology. Do you get the sense that we've got a lot of bad theology in our culture today?
That people are slinging phrases around because it sounds like I've just told you the last blog. Jimmy Kimball said, Well, I follow the teachings of Jesus. Which ones? Tell me about this Jesus that you're following.
Well, I don't follow Jesus, but I follow his teaching. Which teachings? Now we're getting to the heart of the matter. Is people are just saying things because it makes them feel a little bit better. But they're not speaking truth.
Now we don't even say truth anymore. We say your truth. Speak your truth. Do you have your truth? I have my truth.
He has his truth. But Jesus said, I am the truth. What does the Scripture Say. What does the scripture say? 866-34 TRUTH, 866-348 7884.
Do you think we have a problem with biblical illiteracy today? People don't know what the Bible says. And so they'll quote something they've heard, or something that somebody else has said, or maybe it sounds kind of virtuous, it's virtue signaling. But is it truth? Bad theology Bad theology always hands someone the bill.
Now let me explain that.
Some of you have heard what I am about to tell you this phrase If you had more faith you'd be healed.
Some of you've heard that, haven't you? It cuts you too. Those are cutting things to say to somebody who is suffering. If you had more faith You'd be healed. We've heard that at our house.
Now I don't hear it any more. Um because I um Well Do you know that if you put If you have a herd of goats and you put them out in a field and you put a jackass out there with them, it'll chase away the coyotes. Did you know that? I I learned that. You put a jackass out there with it and it'll chase away it'll protect the goats.
From Predators. And I thought, well, maybe I have found my role in the kingdom. Yes. I'm going to probably get a couple of amens on that. But there are coyotes out there.
There are predators who want to harm The flock. And they use bad theology to do it. If you had more faith you'd be healed. These are crushing things. That means when you're not healed, then there's shame there involved.
as opposed to maybe God has something else in mind. 1 Peter talks about that. that we're sometimes we're suffering because that is what God has willed for us. And we can rest in this. We can trust him in it.
Don't have to like it. But we trust him in it. I live with someone who suffers. I was talking with my friend Johnny Erickson Tata. Can you imagine somebody going up to Johnny and saying that?
If you'd have more faith, Johnny. You'd be healed. You get out of that wheelchair. Would you do that? Would you say that to her?
Would you tell Gracie if she had more faith her legs would grow back? Do you see? How we just wheel things around because we're biblically illiterate. What does the scripture say? Some people are called to suffer.
They are. That man that was born blind? Lived his entire life bein' blind? For the glory of God.
So in Jesus Stepped into his life at that appointed time, that Kairos moment, the Greek word Kairos, appointed time. It's for the glory of God. I have no idea. what God's intentions are with Gracie. But I know that it's for his good, for her good, for his glory.
And we trust him. There's another saying that people throw out there: God wants you happy. God just wants you happy. You ever heard that? Do you believe that?
Well, what makes you happy? Do you see how Destructive there can be. Do you see where that goes? And if we're biblically literate, God wants us whole. That's what he wants.
He wants a pure bride. It's what he says. He wants us holy. But our value system is, we just want to be happy. I want to do what makes me feel good.
Don't judge. That's another one people say. Don't judge. Judge not. Judge not.
But what happens is if you don't say something, If you're silent, You watch people go into destruction.
So, if somebody comes to you and they say, Look, man, I've been thinking about. getting involved with this woman over here. It's not my wife. And um she's got a husband. Don't judge.
You're gonna just Let it happen? You're going to say something about it? Are you just going to say, Well, I hope you're happy. No. It's really not only okay, it is biblical to say to people, this is dangerous.
This is sinful. This is wicked. This will bring destruction. Do we say that? Do we know how to say that?
Do we know how Scripture addresses this? Cheap slogans Carry devastating price tags. And we have a responsibility to stand up. And these little cheap slogans that people say, You know, we I had a caller called in last week from from Jacksonville. to this program whose son was murdered.
I appreciated that call so much. It was just his heart, I just wanted to reach out and just hug the guy.
So What an extraordinary man this was. And You don't say that kind of Pablum. to grieving parents. You grieve with them, you mourn with those who mourn. You grieve with those who grieve.
And you point them to Christ. This is what we do. But if we don't know our scriptures, how are we going to do this? And even if we do know our scriptures, it is still difficult to do. We cannot do it on our own power.
It's the power of the Holy Spirit. And that was the answer that I gave to this guy that was struggling with this question. You know, well, these people are going to see this. It's not fair. These other people didn't get to see it.
And because if you see enough evidence, you're going to come to Christ. No. You're implying that you can see. How does one see? Corpses don't see.
We don't want to see. Until the Holy Spirit regenerates our hearts. Is this a cooperative effort between me and God? Is it a synergism? where there's more than one at work here to to do the the work.
Or is it monergism? One work. I'm not talking about our sanctification. I'm not talking about walking in obedience. I'm talking about our death.
justification that moment of regeneration. Is that a cooperative effort between me and God? Where's that God? Good question, isn't it? 866.

But in a teaching way to understand better. Better What are the precepts? What is the real issue? What's really going on? And I think that, well, evidently it's happening around the country because people are going back and watching a lot of the stuff that Charlie Kirk did, and all he did was ask a question.
You know, Thomas Sowell, do you know who he is? Thomas Sowell's an economist and just an amazing thinker. I think he's like 90-something years old. But. He would always throw back questions to people.
When they were saying things that were just kind of like, um You know, we need to do this and this, we need to pay for this, or whatever. He would just cut through bad reasoning with three questions. First one was Compared to what? Or at what cost? Or What hard data do you have?
That just cut through bad reasoning. You know, people say, well, I think you ought to do this.
Well, compared to what?
Well, I don't think it's fair that You know, these people get to do this, and God would do this compared to what? And again, when we start asking better questions, we start getting down to the root issue of what's going on. And I still believe at the core of all this is a basic distrust of God. That's how Eve was snared. Oh, God's not going to do it.
He's not going to no, God wants he he's denying you something. See, that that distrust of God, that is the that is the crux of sin, is to doubt the Word of God. And so We go back to what the scripture says. And also, Jesus never called for us to have blind faith. It's not blind faith for me to trust in Christ.
That's not blind faith. People say that a lot. I always think that's kind of puzzling. I don't think it's blind faith at all. Scripture doesn't show that it's blind faith.
My faith is Based on the evidence there, it's like sitting in a chair. If I sit in this chair, It's not blind faith. I look at the chair. I could tell it has four legs. I could tell it's sitting on the floor.
It's not blind faith. I don't know for sure that it's going to hold me up until I sit in it. But it's not blind faith. He gave us minds to reason, love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, your mind. But don't lean on your understanding, lean on his.
These are the things that Permeate our thought process. How many times do you see in scripture where it says, do not be conformed to this world, be ye transformed by the renewing? Go ahead and finish it with me. By the renewing of your Mind. Our minds are broken.
And it is only through the clarity and the light of the Scriptures that our reasoning is going to be wrenched back into healthiness. I heard a great sermon one time about Jesus when he was 12 years old. and at the temple, and they were astounded by him. You know, s I'm kinda you're kind of surprised that they didn't remember him. Maybe it was just a b they all died off by the time he became an adult and they didn't remember it, but they were astounded by his reasoning.
Why? Why do you suppose that was? Because he could remember everything or his reasoning. That was a culture and still is a culture that thrives on reasoning things out. But Jesus's mind was not encumbered by sin.
So therefore, he can reason differently. because his mind is not encumbered by sin. Ours is.
So Paul says, Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus. You see how all these things start just it's like dominoes, they all just all kind of fall into place. Because you realize, oh. Oh. There's an old saying I live by the obvious becomes obvious right before it becomes obvious.
But the more we study, The more we dig into God's Word, The sharper our minds will become, and we'll be able to speak to the confusion. And the antagonism of this world, and even within our churches. with clarity, and with directness. and precision. to point people effectively to Christ.
That is our goal preach the gospel. Preach the gospel and make disciples and teach them. How are we going to do either if we don't study His Word? Mike, in Dayton, Ohio. Mike?

Okay. I'm sorry. You can hear me fine now? I hear you. Loud and clear, Mike.
Okay. Oh, thank you. Um I totally agree with you're saying we need to renew our mind. This mine is a sinful nature, that's for sure. Uh We we And then the word is our is our the what we need to stand on.
That's I I definitely agree with you there. And the question is. The question is: where else would we stand if we didn't stand on his word? What else is there that can support it? that s could support our existence.
There isn't any. And um I re I remember when my dad was coming to Christ and And him Debating about the word of God and saying, is it really true? Is it really inspired? Is it really all this stuff? And um Please.
Yeah. uh mentoring him, kept telling him different ways that the Bible was so true. And Um That's where we need to learn and understand why the Bible is so true. Are you still there? Yeah.
Okay. Yeah, and uh Yeah. Um I I wish I wish that was taught more. Um Why is the Bible inspired? Why is the Bible inspired?
Why why is the Old Testament prophesying the New Testament? Um that To me, that's what we stand on and that's what we trust in. And that's what That's where our faith can be redeem, or that's where our sins can be redeemed. based on the Bible. Um if it isn't for the Bible, we wouldn't have salvation, we wouldn't as a Christian, we wouldn't have salvation.
We wouldn't have trust in God. We wouldn't have a relationship with God. Look at variable. Uh um And then we don't form those relationships and trusts. with God without the Bible.
Um God reveals Himself through the Bible to our spirit and to our soul. And that's It it's all about the Bible. Thank God. He gave us the Bible. It was interesting the other night.
It was interesting the other night with Jimmy Kimmel saying that he believes in the teaching of Jesus and he wouldn't know the teachings of Jesus. Outside of scripture. Right. That's the only record of the teaching of Jesus is through Scripture. And so it sounded really nice and noble to, oh, I believe in the teachings of Jesus.
And so, my question is: again, which ones? Which ones? Do you believe? Do you believe the one where he says before Abraham was, I w Abraham was, I am? Do you believe that one?
But again, we're not going to be able to challenge this world. Without understanding what Scripture says? And how do we know that we can rely on scripture? And there are plenty of. books you can read on this about the scrutiny that has been applied.
to what we call the Bible. And I do have to ask: does anyone think that, for example, um The uh the And I'm not picking on any particular group. I'm just asking a question. Does the LDS, does the Book of Mormon, Has that been scrutinized to the level of the Bible? I I don't think so.
The Koran, would it stand up? to that that level of scrutiny. And why has the Bible? had that level of scrutiny and these others have not. Right.
Yeah. It is a good question. And and then Well why as a Christian like me Uh and you believe in the Bible so much. is because it's proven itself over and over again in our hearts. in our in our worlds and it stands the test of time.
Since it's been written. I had a lady that I do, sometimes I do drop the needle on the caregiver keyboard here. And I had a song that I did. You may know this song. Mike, I'm going to move the mic over here so a little bit.
Do you know that song, Mike? Do you know that song? He touched me. I know that. Yes.
He touched me. So I don't know if my levels are good. I didn't even check my levels. I just jumped on the caregiver keyboard here, but we're almost out of time. But I played that song one time and I asked the audience, call in if you know that song.
Lady called in and I said, tell me why you love that song so much. And she said it so beautifully, Mike. She said. Because I used to be one way and I ain't that way no more. Yeah.
And I thought. Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. A transformed life. That is the evidence that is right there. And are we being transformed by the renewing of our mind into the likeness of Christ?
Keith Green wrote a great song: I Want To, I Need To, Be More Like Jesus. Um And my one and only goal is his image in my soul, not me. John the Baptist says, he must increase, I must decrease. And you know, if we don't know these things, How can we say these things to a world that is Truly. just in in shambles.
And 1 Peter talked about that. He said, be ready at a moment's notice to give a defense. And so, Mike, are you ready at a moment's notice to give a defense? Yes. Yeah.
I really want to believe that there is internal life And that's why I trust in the bio Because I wanna I wanna believe that there is a heaven and Jesus made the way. Yeah. I don't want to believe it. I do believe it. And scripture teaches it, and I anchor my entire existence on it.
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name. We're out of time. Thank you for the call, Mike. That is, by the way, on Christ the Solid Rock.
