Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth news. I can't hide it. I can hold it in the morning. A daily program powered by the Truth Network.
This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Imagine standing inside a life-size replica of Noah's Ark, three decks hundreds of feet long towering over you.
It's more than just a tour stop. It's a chance to step into the pages of Genesis to see how God preserved a family, his creation, throughout the greatest judgment the world has ever seen.
Well, today on Truth Talk Live, we are talking about this arc encounter. And actually... Unbelievably, over 800 people receive the gospel there just recently through these. amazing events put on by Ray Flynn and so As you're thinking about that today, we would love your comments, your thoughts about. Right?
How Right. Has God challenged you like that? Like he challenged Noah to say, He asked you to do something that seemed crazy at the time, but you stepped into it. And it's amazing, you ended up with a rainbow. 866-348-7884.
866-348-7884. Welcome, Ray. Hey, brother, how are you doing? Thank you so much for having me on. Oh, we're excited as we can be.
You know, the harvest is. is amazing out there and you actually have events going on today from what I understand. Actually, we just started day number fourteen of the forty, and the concert kicked off right at four o'clock.
So I opened up in prayer, got that started and I ran down here because I wanted to talk to you. That's so awesome.
So awesome. And so I, you know, having been to the ark, and I know I'm here with my Dr. Date, the word Carson, and he's been to the Ark. This is one of the most amazing things you could ever come to. And so it's, it, it kind of those people standing there have to be in awe.
The fear of the Lord has to be kind of right present, right? It's amazing because people come into this place and they park out in the parking lot. Whenever they come in, it's almost built like Disney to give you the wow factor because you come through all these turns and then all of a sudden you come over a hill and there you see the life-size Noah's Ark.
Now, for people that have never really studied that, that ark is 510 feet long, and it's almost. eighty five feet high. And so it's pretty massive. It's a massive, massive ship. And people come into the park, they walk through the ark, they read the different scriptures, and you look at all of God's handiwork.
And then you come out of the ark, there's a big zoo out behind it, there's some virtual reality where you can go back in time and literally watch Noah and his sons building the ark. And then at four o'clock. There's a big free concert. And the concert is for anybody who is in the park. I mean, once you have paid admission to come into the Ark Encounter, you can come into the concert for free.
So they have been absorbing God's Word all day long. They've just been seeing all of these things with the Bible coming to life. And then they think they're just going to come into a concert that's going to be fun and great with big names, and it is all of that. But then in the middle of every concert, we stop and we will have a message from God's Word. And in just the first Uh twelve days.
We've had eight hundred and thirty four people follow Christ. Uh and save you. Yes. Wow, what an opportunity we all have to pray into that. If, you know, if.
I just it's it's more than amazing. And you've still got obviously somewhere in the neighborhood of 26 days left. We do. We do. And we're looking forward to it because this event.
you think about how big this sounds just being in the first two weeks, But this event continues to build, and the names of artists that are coming and the speakers that we have coming. You know, that continues to build as well. And so by the time that we get to the end, which is on September the 6th. It's like everybody has watched God do so many things. It is like a praise party for that last big concert.
Wow, Doc. A praise party. I love it. You think about people being saved over 40 days, worshiping God. And yes, in heaven, the angels In the face of the angels, they are rejoicing.
Oh, I love this. A praise party. And anybody that anybody who's been to the ark, I know one of the highlights for me was to see that door. And because the door to the ark is obviously, they have a big cross on it. And so, how cool is it for these people that have encountered the ark and now they've encarted that cross, all that obviously the ark encounter is bringing to them as far as how God protected his family, his word, et cetera.
Now they have a chance to do something with that, right? As he presents the gospel with them. That's exactly right. You look at the door. Jesus said that He was the door.
He's the truth. He is the life. And last year, we've been doing this event now. This makes year number five. Last year, we did the forty days And at the end of the forty days, We had had two.
2,476 people that were saved during this event. And the Answer Center is huge. I mean, it's a 2,500 seat state of the art auditorium. over the last four years, there's enough people who've made public professions of faith of receiving Christ during these concerts. You could fill the Answer Center now four times with just new believers.
Absolutely wonderful. Just absolutely cool. And So as you are preparing, how might our listeners engage what you're doing?
Well, I would say definitely pray. Whenever God's doing a work like this, of course the enemy doesn't like that.
So, definitely pray for the event. Of course, we would like for anybody who's listening to come. Until you're here and you actually experience this, it's hard to comprehend what God is really doing. And the odd thing about this event. It isn't one genre of Christian music.
It is Almost all genres of Christian music.
So we have contemporary Christian worship, southern gospel, bluegrass. We have some black gospel. We have a little bit of everything that's here because we want to reach. everyone with the gospel because Jesus died for everyone. Who who's singing tonight?
So tonight, we have the Promise that's singing along with Billy Walker and then True Song, who is they are like the house group for the Ark Encounter. They were recently nominated for a Dove Award. They're performing tonight. And then we have doctor George Purdham, who's bringing a message tonight. But as we build through this week, we have Karen Pakanew River that's going to be here this week for the Southern Gospel side.
We have Scotty Inman, who's Christian Country now. We also have Chosen Road, who is bluegrass. And then as we get towards the weekend, we have Jordan Felice and Megan Woods.
So it's like we're all over the place.
So amazing, so wonderful.
Well, we're so appreciative to be part of it and and letting everybody know in the Truth Network that that's going on out there. And as he said, you know, you make plans. It will be a trip you it's a life changing experience. They go to 40daysofchristianmusic.com. and get more information about this.
Obviously, you can always go to the Ark Encounter, and they talk about how to plan your visit, and all these different things are there. Life-changing. And what I love is while you're thinking, I want to take my family. to see this to reinforce Their faith, this becomes a great opportunity to introduce. The faith.
There we go. Very cool. We have our very own Russ East, who's usually Mission Mondays. For those of you listening to Truth Talk Live, often he is literally in the ark. I mean, he's.
He came. We brought Russ into our prayer room today because I told him, I said, I want you to come in. I want you to be with the artist. I want you to experience. What we do when we come into the prayer room, and our focus is on pointing people to Jesus.
We want it to be a great big concert and all that kind of stuff. We got to go to a break. I'm sorry, Ray. Thank you so much again. We got.
So much more coming up. Especially we want your calls. 866-348-7884-866-34 TRUTH. We'll be right back. Russ East, Ray Flynn.
Oh, it's awesome. Imagine you're standing in a light. Size version. Over 500 feet long, as described by Ray Flynn a moment ago. Noah's Ark?
Right? Especially as much rain as we've had here lately. You're looking for a rainbow. But the good news is the gospel is coming. We got Russ East and Ray Flynn right now on location.
But as you're processing all that, you can be thinking about, you know, when did God ask you to something, do something that just seemed to make absolutely no sense? Like he asked Noah, go out there and build a boat. You've never seen rain, but what you need right now is Rusty's, he's on even though he doesn't know he's on. Yes, I'm on right now. Yeah.
So So, Russ, we got Russ and Ray on at the same time.
So, Russ, what do you want to say to Ray? Ray, this is so cool. This is just so close. I'm in front of the door. And this is I am the door.
Whoever enters through me will be saved. This is all this you know, when when God told Noah to build the ark to survive the flood, he would send it upon an exceedingly wicked world. He instructed Noah to put one door in the side of the ark. There's a whole plaque here that talks about this door and how it relates to Christ. And Jesus is the door.
And I'm walking through this with my son, and it's just incredible. All the, it's kind of like you said, Ray, it's hard to put into words, but it's. It's a r repl a true replica of what this arc really was and how God preserved his people. and how he showed So much mercy. He was long-suffering.
The true story of Noah and the Ark is all about faith and obedience and judgment and future things to come. And it talks about how that. When Jesus returns, the world will be like in the days of Noah. You know, so there's so much going on here, Robbie and Ray. I can't even hardly talk.
I'm so. Still excited. I'm walking around here. Where am I right now? I'm on deck two.
I'm on deck two. We've watched for deck one. We're on deck two, and they have all these like animatronic things, all these cages. Made out of wood, you know, with the animals and stuff like that.
So, not real lions. Secrets dinosaurs, man. No, but they're not a little scary. They're a little scary. They're a little scary.
I have to be honest. I tell you, it's very realistic. And they got all like the big water bottles and things, and all the details, like just how did they survive on the ark for all these days and so on. And the clean animals and the unclean animals and things like that. Yeah, I think it's how they stored things.
It's really incredible. And just so much history that they Map out for you.
So, if Truth Network listeners want to organize a group to come out here, I'll help you put it together. There's hotels nearby. And I'll help you with all the details.
So that's a possibility.
So, I think that's something we want to be praying about and talking to Ray about. And let's get a truth travel trip. to the ark.
So amazing place. Yes, I just want to drive this home. This is, at this very moment, your first experience with the Ark? Yes, it is. And for our listeners, I mean, I think they can tell, but this is what happens.
daily. When people arrive there, they're just blown away with how big, how massive. And then to think Noah had the faith to do what God called him to do. And then what is God calling us to do? And if Noah could do this, all right, what can we do big for God?
Exactly. It's inspiring. That is so true.
So pastors, don't give up. Don't give up, pastors. You're trying to give out a warning call, you're trying to share the gospel. Don't give up. Noah did this for how many years?
He was faithful. That's the key, right? 120 years of proof. That's kind of been your experience for those people every day when they come in and they have that kind of excitement. It's a great time to share the gospel, right?
It's amazing. We get to do that every single day. But I was listening to what you guys were talking about, and you're talking about having a vision and what has God done that was like that art type moment. You need to understand that whenever the art called me and said, hey, would Abraham Productions bring an event here? We came up and met with them, and we were talking to them about doing a three or four day event.
Those meetings went great. And I left from here and I thought to myself, God, why is it that I just don't have a piece about this? And I got home. And I was driving down to the beach. I live in Wilmington, North Carolina.
And during that drive, I was thinking about everything that Russ is experiencing right now. I had walked through the ark. I thought about all the scripture about how all of that took place and how it rained 40 days and 40 nights. And during that period of time, wickedness had increased upon the face of the earth, and God's judgment was being poured out. But today We live in a period of God's grace.
And I thought, man, what would it be like if God was pouring out his blessings for forty days and forty nights at the Ark? And so I came back to him and I said, hey, I've got a vision here to do a 40 days of Christian music. And so We stepped out. Listen to this, guys. We stepped out in twenty twenty during a worldwide pandemic when they said there would not be any more mass gatherings.
That you wouldn't see big sporting events, you wouldn't see big concerts, and we announced that we were going to do the largest Christian music festival in the world. And last year, the World Record Academy recognized this event as being the largest Christian music festival in the world. That's God. That's God. Yeah, absolutely huge and absolutely spectacular.
So, as you're thinking about that, you know. You've had something happen in your life that... You know, it might have led two or three people, or one person to Christ just blew your mind, right? And so, you know, that one person may be the key to generations of something.
So we would love your calls. 866-348-7884. We would love to hear from you. You know, you're. Know a moment what that may have felt like when again this rain started, and all of a sudden, oh, look what's happening.
866. Three four eight seven eight eight four. And so, Rusty, you Did you fly over there and how did you where did you fly? No, we've been driving. My son is going to Liberty University and to go to Utah.
Yeah, fifteen hundred miles away or so. We've been driving through, and we wanted to stop here at the Ark. And enjoy this amazing time. And you know, I did an interview with Dr. Perdum, who's speaking after the concert today.
And she just shared about how you know how God he cleansed the earth of sin through water through the flood. And I'm looking at this painting, an artist's rendition of it, and it's tragic. It's overwhelming the way this Artist has done this. But then she talked about how on the in the interview How that God is going to someday do another big judgment, and that's through fire. And it's mind-boggling, but.
It's when we think about the grace of God that's there. Boy, we just want people to hear about the gospel message: the good news, the bad news, and the good news. that completely eclipses the bad news, but you have to receive it. And so I just want to encourage, if you don't know Christ as your Savior, please Talk to somebody at a good local church or call the truth network, call any of us, and we'll help you. Understand how to put your faith in Christ alone.
And so then you can. be covered by the the perfect Sacrifice the Lamb of God, Jesus Himself. Yeah, so we need we need. Hear the name Noah, you may not think other than I know a guy, but I you know as Peter Rosenberger put it, that sometimes my humor bar is a little bit low, but as he, you know, tried to set the whole thing like a You know, somewhere of a limbo competition. You know, he set the bar so low, I would just have to say that it was like a long worm, you know, that's down on the.
But nonetheless, Noah, his name was that he would comfort his people, right? And it's an amazing thing when you think of the idea of grace. You think of favor. And when somebody is your favorite, then they're getting great favor, right? And you know what it's like to be around somebody and they treat you like they're your favorite?
Well, they're having grace for you, they favor you.
Well, you think about it, Noah being the only person that family that got to live, obviously he was God's favorite. But it also said that Noah is the first person to find grace in God's eyes.
Well, his name backwards in Hebrew. is grace. No uh Spelled backwards in Hebrew spells grace, and he was the first to find it. Right, as he got saved through that arc, through that door that Ray's talking about, Russ. Again, we need to be praying for these 40 days.
We got 26 left, but we also need to be calling 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. We'll be right back with a whole lot more arc encountering. Truth Talk Live. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today we're talking about Arc.
encounters, right? Like The time that Perhaps God asked you to do something that just seemed off the hook at the time. Like, what in the world? And then. What did you do?
What was your response? 866-348-7884. 866-348-7884. I will never, ever, ever forget my own story: is that I was praying about things that had to do with the car business in 2006, early 2006 in February, and God asked me to get on the radio. And to do A show he called the Christian Car Guy Show.
And I said, You want me to do the Christian Carcass show? And you want me to talk on the radio? I said, Well. Lord, you do know that I... I don't have any training in radio.
I don't even like to do my own commercials. Have you heard my voice? Because people go to college to learn how to talk like this. And he was like, Yeah, yeah, Robbie, it's going to be good. And he gives me everything.
He gave me the logo, all that stuff. It was still a mind-blowing night. I'll never, ever forget it as long as I live. But when I woke up the next morning, I was like, man, I can't do this. This is way beyond my comfort zone.
I don't, so nervous, it was unbelievable. And So I remembered a sermon one time that our pastor, Pastor Mark Quartz at Calvary, preached that if God calls you to do something, he'll swing the door wide open. And if he said, you see, somebody said they were called to preach, and they can't find a church, they weren't called to preach. And so I said, well, this is my fleece right here. I only know one person in Christian radio in my world, and that would be Stu Everson.
And I'll go ask him to lunch and see what he thinks about this idea of doing a show called The Christian Car Guys Show. I invite him. I can take you to the Mexican restaurant we ate lunch at in Moxville that day. And I looked at Stu and I said, Stu, this is going to sound crazy, but I feel like God is calling me to do a radio show called the Christian Car Guy Show. He wants me to talk about what breaks my heart every day.
And Stu looks at me and says, That's the best idea I've ever heard. How about this Saturday? And I'm like, no, just absolutely terrified. And So I expected, I have to add this part to the story, that Stu would be here that Saturday. Right?
And so I've never been on the radio. And I walk in, and only we got a producer in there by the name of Deacon. He was an old guy, just saw the earth. But he looks at me and he goes, Man, you must really like to talk on the radio. And I said, No, I said, This is a call-in show.
People are going to call in and talk. He said, Nobody's going to call you. You better not have any dead air. Just. Terrify.
Well Next January it'll be 20 years. Wow. That's yeah. You took the step of faith. And and all the adventures that I have been on and many times with Rusty at the NRB and places like that that I never would have met such people as Doctor Date the word Carson and and and and so many others uh as I said I just how about you?
When did you reach out? Was something that seemed absolutely crazy. 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. Russ, I know you're chomping at the bit. What else you got for us?
Oh, I'll tell you what, you know I'm just sitting here. I'm still on the third deck now, and I've just been looking around. And my eyes are just big, like I'm a kid in a candy store. I mean, there's so many things. If if you wanted to bring your family out On a vacation, um, uh, I can just tell you that.
Well, first of all, just like our one of our producers, Grayson, he was just sending me a text and he said, I was on Google, I, I, I. I tapped in the ARC encounter, and he said, This place is detailed. I mean, this is an awesome place. And he's so right. When you come here, you see there's So many things, like you got your videos and you got your virtual reality stuff, and you've got a carousel, and you've got a petting zoo kind of thing, and you've got restaurants and all kinds of resources, and you name it.
And I really think that we could get a group to come out, whether you want to come out with a truth network. Family of listeners or your own church family, just go on Google, find the Ark Encounter. You won't be disappointed. There's great hotels nearby within like two minutes, one minute of the Arken Counter. And then, of course, like 30 minutes north of here, about, I think, is the Creation Museum.
We're going to have to have you tomorrow. Oh, that's so awesome.
Well, we went, Rusty, we took our church on a group like that last year. And there's plenty of really nice VRBOs, and you can rent. You know, one of those for a fairly large group. I think one of them held like 25 people. That you know, all in the same, you know, really, really neat stuff to take your church, and then you've got both.
But let me just say, for everybody that's planning on going out there. that we didn't think through completely. like Chick-fil-A, they're not open Sunday. Yeah.
Wait, wait, Robbie. Are you saying the ARF door is closed on Sunday? I am telling you. But, you know, we thought, well, we're going to have two days to go. We're going to be there Saturday and Sunday, and it'll just be awesome.
You know, not using Robbie's brain, which is not unusual.
So you have your church there. It's a little embarrassing when you rind out that, you know, what you brought everybody, but Sunday you're going to have to find something else to do.
So, so. When we think about the concert on these 40 days, there's no concerts on Sundays. Bingo, Yahtzee. I am going to go to the bathroom. It's blowing that up to see this, and it's not there.
You're exactly right. Sunday is closed. Right. And so, can I jump in? You may, jump in.
I just got to tell you.
Okay, we got the Tower of Babel information in here. We've got even stuff on the ice age. We've got questions about climate change. We're hitting on all these topics.
So, see, this Noah's Ark, this Ark Encounter touches on all these things. We've got people from around the world. The Bible used, okay, all these amazing little rooms you go into that helps us get educated as well. Oh, yeah. I remember those rooms where the.
members of the family stayed were you know, if you're on the third deck, isn't that where that where they hung out? Um have you been to those yet? I'm walking through it right now, and there's just so much information. I just got to slow down and take a breath. Uh there's all this stuff about you know, talking about where it's like timelines, you know, of The pyramids and Navigation and all these different things.
They just have done an amazing. Here's some maps. Here's about the flood legends. Other types of sources that mention a flood, you know, and so you can get into all those. discussions and things.
And I'm looking at this map of the earth and it's just Overwhelming this stuff. I just, I don't know. Hardly, I see Greek. I see Sumerian, I see Words I've never even heard of before.
So I see Inca. You know, we got Dr. Date the word, and so he's loaded us up with scripture that we don't want to miss out on.
So.
Well. You know, again, it When I look at verses that um would fit for a day, uh I always go back, um. For me, June the 9th, Genesis 6:9. This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generation.
Noah walked with God.
Now, he wasn't perfect in the sense that he didn't sin, but he had a different heart and he walked with God. I love using that verse. And then, you know, it comes to that point. And for me, it's going to be November because of Hebrews chapter 11, but it says that Noah. By faith being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved.
With godly fear. And that's what you did 20-some years ago. You moved with godly fear as God laid it on your heart. He prepared an ark for the saving of his household. Great Father's Day message right here.
And by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. And how do you get to go through that door?
Well, you may have to pay it a mission fee. at the Arc encounter, But when it comes to being saved, it's by faith and it's free, provided by God. You walk through that open door. And Russ, I really appreciate you've brought out the fact that there is just one door. And uh for some people that becomes um a a big turn off.
Because why isn't God Inclusive. Why can't all religions be a way to God?
Well, there's only one way, and it comes back to Jesus Christ died. No one else has ever done that. And the fact that he would die, how could there be any other way other than him? And Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me.
And that's John 14, 6. But earlier you said, Jesus is the door. And this ark is reminding us of what our faith really is. 866. By the way, this is the your chance to share your ark encounter.
Maybe you went to, maybe you went to Tennessee, excuse me, Kentucky. Kentucky. And you go through Tennessee from here. But maybe you went there and you had an encounter that you would like to relate as you hear Rusty as excited as he is. Or maybe you had one with God where he asked you to build an ark, whatever that might look like.
866-348-7884. 866-348-7884. We would love, love, love to take your calls, hear what it is that you've experienced in anything along these lines. But You know, the idea that we get a rainbow, it was a covenant. It was a promise.
is absolutely miraculous to me when you think about it. That You can kinda touch heaven any time you see a rainbow you think Wow, God's promise is still there, still active, and it's real. And we need to claim that thing back as a Christian symbol. Yeah, it kind of got. Taken by another group, but ultimately.
And I remember growing, as I grew up, all of a sudden you see that rainbow. And what's the rainbow there for? And there's your story. That's God's promise to Noah. God's promise to Noah.
Even in Isaiah chapter 54, was it? I think I told you. Isaiah 54 says, for this is like the water. of Noah to me, for I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no longer cover the earth as things pop up on my computer and cover up things for me. Uh that the waters of Noah should no longer cover the earth.
God says I look at that Rainbow as a reminder. Just like I look at a person who's been covered by the blood of Jesus, you'll never face that wrath ever again. What a promise. Right, Hebrews 11. Hebrews 8.
Right there in the Hall of Faith, right? Noah is that opportunity. And you got an opportunity every time you see a rainbow, but also, as Russ has pointed out, to make the trip to the Ark Encounter, especially during these 40 days. And it would appear that Ray must have these events every year during this time. He's still doing it every year at this time.
And so, what a neat thing to do, maybe plan next summer along those lines. I think the calendar is coming out, Robbie, for next July. It is. How about you? 866-348-7884 is a number to call in and share your Ark Encounter.
Well, I got one segment left. We would love to hear from you. 866-348-7884. We'll be right back. True to Welcome back to Truth Talk Live.
Today's question is. What about your Ark encounter? We're live from Noah's Ark with Russ East, our station manager in Utah. Um Russ's ministry, which is Utah Partners for Christ. And Dr.
Date, the word Carson, right here in front of us with more scripture on the subject than you could possibly imagine. Plus, we've got somebody calling in at 866-348-7884. We're going to share their ARC encounter here in a minute. But, Rusty. What are you seeing now?
Well, my mouth is dropped, my jaws all dropped open because if this wasn't enough, you know, for everything about the ark and everything.
So, I mean, now I've been through another exhibit about the Museum of the Bible. They've got. all these amazing things. About the history. Bible, how it's come about.
How the Lord's preserved His word. And it's incredible. They've got like a John Coverdale Bible and all these things. When you learn about how the Bible is put into English, they've got a whole section of that. And so you come here to learn about the Ark, and you're also going to learn about how God has preserved His Word.
And so, if you haven't had a chance to go to the Museum of the Bible, You'll come here and you'll get that. And I'm looking at this, the true history of the world. I've never seen anything quite like this in my whole life. What am I looking at here?
Someone's going to have to explain this to me. This is an amazing timeline. It's on this big scroll. It looks like it was made back in the. like 1700s or something like that.
Incredible. And then down, if I walk down this way, it says the words. of eternal life Oh my word, look at this. You've got you've got these replicas of these scrolls. Uh Hebrew scrolls.
And the Masoretic text, the Latin Vulgate. You got the. Different versions of the Bible, different languages. It's just unbelievable, you guys. You've got to.
Come out here, Pastor. Please, please. Put on your list to come to you come to Utah, not Utah, come to Kentucky, right? Northern Kentucky. They've got the Jewish coins and everything.
So speaking of Northern Kentucky, we got Mike is in Dayton, which is not terribly far for those of our listeners that are in Ohio. It's kind of right across the border.
So Mike, you're on Truth Talk Live.
Well, I've never been there, and what was that? Mike! Yeah, I know, I know. I can't believe you're saying this on the air. Um, I it but I'm intrigued and I'm coming.
Uh coming soon. Uh me and my wife are gonna plan a plan a time to come. Maybe we can come before they uh Have the concerts done. Wouldn't that be awesome? I would love to hear report back from that because if I can think of anybody that would love that, my friend Mike.
Oh, thank you. Yeah, thank you. I have a real quick story if I can. Please. Yeah.
I started a group called Christians Under Construction, and I'm in construction. Yeah.
And I resemble that remark. Yeah.
And it started with only three guys, and then it ended up with 12, and it ended up with 15, and some non-Christians started coming, and we started having. non-Christians come and and and people gotten saved and You know, it's just because I was obedient to God. You know, I really was. I was just obedient to God. I'm not a very good reader.
I'm a horrible reader. I'm dyslexic somewhat, and I was able to get through it with people. And they've seen the sincerity in my heart, I would say. you know, and uh and it it grew really big. A lot of people moved out of the construction area in Dayton here back in back in Obama years, and that that kind of died off.
I would I would love probably start that again, and it was really good. Go for it. Yeah, you're still under construction, so away you go, man. Yeah, I know. I got a lot of Christian guys around me at work, and then that is awesome, the workaround.
I kind of. You know, making them strong in the Lord, which is really cool. Iron sharpens. There might be a scripture. Is that date the word?
Proverbs 27:17. I knew it. Iron sharpens iron.
So there is a 27th month, so we just can't get there.
Well, if we go with 12, 27 with the day first, 27th of December. But if they have a football number named 27, that could be it. Oh, you better believe that one. Or a basketball, right? Then they can post that all at date the word.com.
And so, Mike, God bless you, my friend. God bless you. I can't wait to my grandson is going to play football this year, and I can't wait to figure out what his number is.
So, I can't wait to use that. That is awesome. That is awesome. It's on the date the word out. Amen.
Thanks, Mike. God bless. Bye-bye. All right, Rusty, what are we seeing now? You know, I'm still looking at all these Amazing Exhibits of how he got the Bible put into English and everything.
And it's just. I'm just taking it all in. I'm just they've got a they've got I think they should lock you in there overnight that you could probably just I know it I know it they've got from the Gutenberg Bible they've got like a fax faxomile they call it like a copy you're not original or anything but it shows the beauty of that from like uh 1450 I believe right around that time frame and they just do an amazing job of just showing Wow, if you're if you're from a church, a ministry that That values God's word, you don't have to worry about these guys, have got it, they are solid, and you just won't go can't go wrong. I mean, especially if you live in Ohio, like Mike, you know, and other people like North Carolina, you guys are. A day's drive away or so, you know?
And uh It's going to be so great to get a a trip together, I think, with truth listeners.
Now are you there tomorrow r are you there tomorrow night, Russ? I'm going to be up at the Creation Museum in the morning, and then we have to keep on going down towards Lynchburg to get our son into Liberty University.
So maybe we'll get a group of Liberty Liberty University come out. I'm just seeing tomorrow Ken Ham is as the speaker. And this is his whole dream. He had the Noah dream. God said, do this.
And people thought when God told him to do it, Ken, you're crazy. You remember that Russ? He came to the NRB that year, and he outlined the plan, and we all looked at it like. Yeah.
You were there, weren't you? Are you there, Russ?
Sorry. You were there when Ken Ham brought this to the NRB, what he was going to build. Years ago? I'm trying to remember. I'm trying to remember.
I'm trying to recall that. I've been to NRB a ton of times, and I just know this has probably been such a labor of love and sacrifice. I can't imagine. How amazing it has been to see God's people supply the funds for this because this is not just some. Small little rinky-dink thing.
No way. This is on the level of like a Disney. Kind of a level of professionalism and beauty in ways it exceeds magnitude.
Now you're going to be at Liberty tomorrow night. Let's see, tomorrow night, we should be at Liberty University.
So you're going to go from one man's big vision to be like do what Noah like Noah had to do, Kid Ham, to Jerry Falwell. And it's his birthday. And today's his birthday. He would have been 92 if he were still alive today. And he does have a twin.
So, Gene, we've happy birthday to Gene Falwell today. But when you get now, I'm thinking, you've been to Liberty before? Russ? You have been on my birthday? No, have you been to Liberty before?
Yes, yes, yes, I've been to Liberty before, beautiful place, can't wait. Because I'm thinking, I'm thinking for that. For those who see Liberty for the first time, it's kind of like your response of seeing the art for the first time. I grew up there, I grew up where there was nothing but cow pastures. And now You drive in there and The dream that Dr.
Falwell had placed on his heart by God, build a world-class Christian university, and that's what you're going to drive into tomorrow. And the You know, God says, I want you to do something. Can you have the faith to trust Him? And I don't know if you'll get a chance to go up to the top of what's called the where the Logo is like a clock tower, like a tower or something, isn't it? I haven't done it yet, so that's a good reminder to do that.
Yes, but you could also go up where they have the monogram. And at the very top of that mountain, there's a picture that shows what it looked like in 1970, and there was nothing there. And all of a sudden, just like what you're experiencing now. But I just share all this to say: you know, Dr. Falwell, a man, Ken Ham, a man.
Like Noah, God said. I got something for you to do. And everybody's going to kind of scratch his head like, you're crazy. But look at the impact. Noah, if he hadn't built the ark, There's no ham and shem and japath.
The whole world is better than anything. No. And look at all those just sorry, I had to ham it up a minute. You did to ham it up just for one. I got that joke, actually.
You let home get them, but that's how I got it. That's good. There's a pastor out there who's struggling and hasn't had that vision yet, you know, to carry things on for his church. But we want to be in prayer for all those pastors out there that are plugging it out and trusting the Lord with. Being faithful to what God's called them to do.
So, big or small or in between. The ark encounter reminds us that God can. Yeah, in both ways, right? Both in the just when you see all that has happened between the Creation Museum down to the Ark Encounter, and has happened through that ministry as a result of him being obedient. And then, you know, when you actually begin to really process all that as Rust is experiencing, as you go through these decks of this ark and you see all these different exhibits, and one of the things that, you know, you go, how in the world did they get all the animals on the board?
You know, when you know how many kinds of animals there are, how could they possibly do that? They do a beautiful job, don't they, Rusty, of explaining how they grouped the animals. That there were a lot of different kinds of deer that came out of one set of deer. You know, there's elk and moose and all those that are all of the same kind of giant. But anyway, Robbie, I hope there'll be some more like Mike who'll say, I'm going to go to the Arkincantor in Kentucky.
And even more when you hear God calling you to build an ark,
