The Great Commission is a call to spread the gospel and reach every nation, with organizations like Word of Life Bible Institute and Reaching Indians Ministries International working to plant churches and train leaders in India and Africa. Despite persecution and spiritual darkness, people are hungry for the truth and the love of Christ, and individuals can be part of this mission by praying, giving, and going to support these ministries.

Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth now. I can't hide. A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what.

Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. This is Russ East, your host for Missions Monday.

If you'd like to call in, the number is 866-456-865-656- Three, four, eight, seventy-eight. Eight. Excuse me, 78. Uh Seven eight Sorry, my bad. 348-7884.

There you go. Hey, we're going to be talking about missions today. We're going to be talking about the Great Commission. We're going to be talking about how. How the Lord has given us this great opportunity to be His ambassador in carrying out the message of the gospel through missions.

We have our first guest. His name is John Bubar all the way from upstate New York. And John Are you on the air here on Truth Talk Live. No, I'm no I'm not. Just kidding.

Yes, I am. Hey, great. Hey, everybody. This is John Bubar. My son, Jack, he went to Word of Life Bible Institute for the last two years, two years.

He went to this two year program. And this man right here, the Lord really used John Bubar. John's going to tell us a little bit about the ministry of Word of Life And their commitment to the gospel. And so, John, thank you for the impact that the Lord had through you on our son Jack. It wouldn't have been the same without you there.

I honestly mean that.

So, give all praise to the Lord. For your impact that you've made on our son, Jack, and I'm just hoping maybe you could just tell our listeners. What does Word of Life Camps and the Bible Institute How does it relate to missions? Tell us a little bit about that. Yeah, well, first of all, Jack made a great impact on me too.

Isn't that how discipleship works, right? It's wonderful the way God has designed the body. But your son, Jack, is a great guy, and I'm so proud of him. Word of Life is actually a global organization currently operating in eighty eight countries around the world with over one thousand six hundred missionaries on the field. And it started all here in the state of New York.

And it started actually, Russ, with. Your wife's grandfather receiving Christ and embracing the great commission to reach everybody he could with the gospel of Jesus Christ. And what started as an evangelism ministry turned into a global uh organization that the sun never sets on. Our camps up here in upstate New York. We have a ranch for children and middle schoolers.

We have an actual island for teenagers. And I get the privilege of running the family camp at the Pines. We have about 450 campers this week, and we're having an incredible time together where we see families. Take their next step with Jesus by refreshing them and giving them the chance to breathe.

So When you talk about the word of life camps, we're also in Florida. We've got a youth camp there that this summer will have four thousand campers. Attend. And then we're in the process of acquiring a camp property in the great state of California. just outside Sacramento, about an hour, hour and a half outside Sacramento at the base of the Sedonas.

So uh lots of wonderful things happening. Yes, that's right. Right down in between the two national parks, it's an amazing spot, one hundred and sixty acres. of Youth Camp that we're going to be taking over here very, very soon. Excellent.

Praise God.

Well, that is so exciting about this new camp in California. This great commission, this call we have on getting the gospel into people's hearts. hearts and minds and ears and and you guys are such a important part of that. I know Jack had the opportunity to go to New York City as a first year student and then he went to Quebec. Can you talk about that?

What's the name of that part of the Word of Life Bible Institute program for the program? Actually, there's two things I can share.

So first of all, we teach our freshmen about evangelism by taking them on open air ministry. They go down to New York City for five days and share the gospel. And then in second year, they go do what we call Missions Reality, which takes them somewhere around the world. doing the same thing, embracing the great commission to take the gospel to every nation. This year, we're celebrating our 85th anniversary of ministry, Russ, and our president and CEO, Don Locke, decided to try something crazy in the month of April this year.

He said, let's worldwide try to reach 5 million people with the gospel. And a lot of us weren't sure if we could do that. And all of our countries around the world mobilized. We made a huge concentration in April to share the gospel with as many people as we could. And Russ, would you believe that by the end of April, we were able to share the gospel with six point eight million people in one month And we saw over seventy three thousand people Trust Jesus, just in the month of April worldwide.

It was exciting. Wow. That is awesome. Yeah, I know firsthand that this is Real that my son grew in his just in that confidence in the Lord to open your mouth. And Paul prayed that.

He said, Pray that I might open my mouth boldly and speak as I ought to speak. And so this is one of the main m main things of Word of Life Bible Institute. You can go there, you can get your education in Bible training if God's calling you to be a a pastor or in missions or something itself, or if God wants you to maybe go off to another college later and you can transfer just a ton. If not, just about all of your credits to, like, say, a Liberty University. That's where Jack's going.

And they were just very workable. And it was so great, you know, in that discipleship times. What did you call that, John? Dr. J.

Oh, we had our D group. In fact, we were just texting each other last night. One of our D group members. from two years ago got engaged this week. And we were all just touching base again and we're friends for life, you know?

Absolutely. And and the camping ministry. Boy, you know, Jack was on the island where like like you mentioned, Jack's great his his great grandfather, his great grandfather, Jack Burtson, who who you know, him and others, you know, the Lord moved and and had this burden just to use Radio for the getting the gospel out, camps. all these things that we've been talking about, and you can be a part of it.

So what's a great way for people to get in contact with you, John, whether they want to bring their family up to family camp, go to the Pines, they they want to they want to have their kids go their teenagers go to the island. What's a good maybe website where people can go to to yes, so we just launched a new organizational website, wol.org, and it's become much easier to figure out how to navigate what part of our ministry you want to partner with. But we would love the chance to minister to your young people. Our mission statement is to see everyone take their next step with Jesus. And sometimes it's the first step through evangelism or it's A series of other steps through discipleship, but Word of Life is committed for for eighty five years to evangelism and discipleship in the Great Commission.

Excellent. All that you do, the yieldedness that you have given over to the Lord for your life and your family's life, and just being involved. And I know your dad had just. He's with the Lord now, like my dad and so many have gone before us. But we're called to be what was that that Jack Wertson said?

He kind of encouraged us with a little phrase. What is that phrase? It's on the it is the responsibility of every generation to reach the next generation for Christ. There you have it.

Okay, great, great.

Well, thank you so much, John. I'm going to be talking a little bit today about Act 16. And so Act 18 is one of my favorite chapters, and I'm going to dive into that a little bit. We've got more people calling in. If you'd like to call in, the number is 866-348-7884.

And that is the number you can call if you'd like to talk about maybe your experiences and missions. But John, thank you for being on Truth Talk Live today. Thank you. You have a great day, Russ. Thanks, John.

God bless you.

Well, that number again, 866-348-7884. Give us a call, and we will continue talking about missions today. We're going to bring on another gentleman, and his name is Haruna. And we'll bring him on right after the break. How does that sound?

So call us 866-348-7884-7884, and we'll bring you on. You can give praise to the Lord. for what he's done in your life. through maybe a mission experience. We'll be right back.

Truth Talk Live Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. This is Russ East, your host. Filling in for my boss, Stu Efferson. The number you can call is 866-348-7884. If you'd like to share about your experiences, Doing a mission trip, or how someone maybe shared the gospel with you.

This is Missions Monday, so we're going to continue this theme with my friend Haruna. And Haruna, are you on the line right now? Yes, sir, I'm on the line.

Okay, super. Everybody, this is Haruna, and Haruna is from Ghana. And this is a little country on the western side of Africa. And I've been so blessed to get to know Haruna and to do ministry with him here in Utah. And Haruna is going to share a little bit about.

where God has placed him and In light of a trip that our ministry, Utah Partnerships for Christ, is putting together to go to his native country, his home. in the country of Ghana. And so first of all, Haruna, thank you for being on Truth Talk Live. And would you just share with us, first of all, where God has you right now doing ministry, d sharing the great commit sharing the gospel, carrying out the great commission? Thanks, Ross, for having me on your show.

Like I said, my name is Haruna. I'm originally from Ghana, a small country in West Africa. Um I've been I feel called myself and my family moved here to Las Vegas. um few years ago To be missionaries here in Las Vegas.

So we're currently serving in Las Vegas with YWAM. Youth with a mission.

Okay, praise God. And and we've been so blessed by having The team members from your base come up to Utah and share the gospel with people and just pray and. Just lovingly reach out to people. Tell us what it's like being in Las Vegas. That's a mission field.

Tell us a little bit about some of the things that you do there to reach souls for Christ there. Yes, I personally, having my experience of coming even to Utah. I say that Las Vegas is a mission field. Same asset. Utah.

Um Las Vegas is kind of everybody know is a city of Um light. But there's so much darkness behind the scenes because The only light that shines brighter is the light of Jesus. And without that light, everywhere is dark.

So Las Vegas is such a great mission field. There's a lot of opportunities. We have about forty plus million tourists visiting our city from different countries and nations. And I get to have opportunity to share the gospel with people from All backgrounds. I love.

Sharing the gospel with Americans from all over the states, but it's awesome to also meet people from different countries. To be able to have this gospel conversation and sharing, talking about Jesus with people who have no idea. of who Jesus is. Yeah.

So it's been a great experience being here. And then, if people wanted to find out about how they could be part of a discipleship training school. What would be a way that they could Contact you, Haruna. Oh, um that I I think that there is we are in a season where discipleship not just the day-to-day one, but setting a time aside to be deliberate and intentional. To mature and to get trained is very, very important.

And that is what YWEM Las Vegas we do. We have a A five-month intensive discipleship training course that if you are interested and you want to, you can call me on seven zero two two zero nine four two nine zero or check us out on uh YWEM Las Vegas. on the website and on social media, Facebook and Instagram for more information.

Okay, excellent. Hey, and also here as we're talking, Haruna, could you tell us a little bit about Ghana? close to your heart The people there, they need Jesus. We're looking forward to sending out a small group to kind of start doing some training on how to share the gospel with people. that are part of the the Mormon church.

We're going to try to kind of focus our attention on Helping Christians in Ghana how to lovingly share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who are Mormon. And so we're planning on doing that in August, August 22nd through the 29th. And we need your prayers and even your financial support for this. You need to pray to support YWAM in Las Vegas, too. And so just pray to the Lord and ask Him, Lord, what can I do?

What do I have in my hand? How many fish do I have in my hand? How many loaves of bread do I have that I can share with others to see it multiplied? Tell us about Ghana. G what are some concepts, some words to give people a sense of What life is like in Ghana.

Yeah, Ghana Ghana is a I was born and raised there. It's awesome. It's wonderful, a wonderful country. And I would say that if I have any passion about serving God and serving the nations, I got it because of where I come from. And Ghana is a ve a country that is very hungry and passionate about and seeking God, Jesus Christ.

So Unfortunately, other religious bodies and backgrounds have taken advantage to get in there. deceptively And even those wearing in wolf skin, uh in uh in Wolves in goat skin, sheep skin, sorry, trying to. uh uh be as if they are presenting the gospel.

So I'm sending a team from Um Utah. Um to go out there into Ghana to educate people about what the LDS church is and to reach out to the Mormons is very, very important, even to educate the pastors. Yeah, a lot of people are there, they are so ignorant about And they don't have so much details of what the LDS Church stands for and what they truly see it as a true church of Christ because it says that the Latter-day Church. Church of Jesus Christ. A Latter-day Saint of Jesus Christ.

So they thought it's It's because there is Jesus in the name, people are opening to it and then they are getting to know that it's not the truth.

So I believe that the team going to Ghana to stop by to share and to share the vision that what it means will be a great blessing. Boy, wouldn't it be great If the Lord would call you listening today to Truth Talk Live, To be praying and considering going on this trip to Ghana. Maybe the Lord wants you to go. And just ask Him, Lord, do you want me to go to Ghana? Do you want me to go to YWAM, Las Vegas?

Lord, do you want me to go to maybe our last caller before Haruna was up in upstate New York with word of life? And so. God has a purpose for your life as a believer. He has a purpose to to give you opportunities to give him glory. What an amazing purpose that is.

And to be his ambassador and to carry out this great commission.

So, Haruna, in just the last couple of minutes we have together here. How about sharing about your time in Utah? Tell our listeners when you came up here to Utah, what did you see, what did you hear, and just give people kind of a sense of that. And when we hear the music, we'll know it's about time to have a break, but just tell us in the remaining time we have in this segment.

Okay. Yes. I I think my time in Utah, I've been there a couple of times, and it's always great to go on on the Weber State I'm a university to share the gospel Um go to even homes of the people from having the bank at the From the LDS background, telling them about Jesus, and even going to the temples, sharing the gospel. uh uh uh with the missionaries that are there. It's it was a such a great moment and even an eye opener to Even our students who are from the other parts of the United States to see that there are people who Are in Utah, even though in a very civilized nation like this, but still need the true Jesus.

of Nazareth.

So it's always a pleasure and my joy to be there and to be part of what God is doing there in Utah with. Your ministry. It's always a blessing to get to share the gospel and to answer questions. From other people. And my background is Islamic and seeing the LDS church.

Yes, lots of similarities there. Oh, we could talk for hours, I bet. Thank you so much for being with us, Haruna. God bless you.

And we will be right back here on Truth Talk Live. Thank you for joining us, Haruna. Praying for white women in Las Vegas. We'll be right back. We'll talk more about missions.

Give us a call: 867-348-3. 7884. Thank you, Haruna. God bless you.

Truth Top Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. This is Russ East, your host. What a privilege it is to be with you. We're talking about missions because this is Missions Monday. You can call in right now at 866-348-7884.

There's no waiting right now. Call us at 866-348-7884. You know, I want to mention real quick that we are sponsoring a trip to Greece, the Footsteps of Paul trip, next year in 2026. September 22nd until October 2nd. It's going to be so amazing.

I'm telling you what, I've been to Greece twice. And it will just help deepen your understanding of what took place. In a passage of scripture for one, many passages of scripture, we're going to talk about. Thessalonians, we're going to talk about Mars Hill, we're going to talk about uh B b the Bereans, we're gonna talk about Corinth. But right now, until we have somebody who calls in, I want to share with you from Acts 16.

And so if you wanted to get your Bible open, I would encourage you to go to Acts 16 and look at verses 11 through 40. And if I had to give a title for this, if I was at your church doing a message or something. What I would call this is God is in the unexpected. And so this is an amazing chapter here where Paul is is going with a small group of people. He's going over there with Luke and Timothy and Silas.

They were going to go one direction, and then Paul gets this vision from somebody who says, from Macedonia, Controlled by Rome, but this great empire of the Roman Empire, powerful.

Soldiers, you know, the the whole thing. They've got so much infrastructure. They conquered the Greeks. And and so Paul gets this vision in the in the night and says, Come and help us. And so Paul just tells his guys: hey, we're going this direction.

We're not going off to the east, we're going to go to Macedonia. And so they take off. curveball that must have been for his team. and they had to really trust the Lord. for this change and sometimes in missions that happens.

Sometimes you'll have these twists and turns and unexpected, but God is in the unexpected. And so when you go through highs and lows of life, and especially in light of a mission trip experience, maybe you feel. called to go on a short-term mission trip and things don't go exactly the way it's planned, you're not alone.

Okay, this kind of thing started When Paul landed with his little team in Neapolis. It's now that little town is called Kavala. And it's a little port city right there in Greece. It's a beautiful area. Paul took off on the Via Ignacia.

And he made his way to Philippi. And Philippi, just to give you a quick background, was named after the father of Alexander the Great.

So this was a area fairly close to Neapolis. But it was a place with gold and it's been its background and just a beautiful kind of a farming area as well. And so the the soldiers would retire there. Paul goes there and there's there's not a synagogue and so Paul goes to To the river, and he's trying to just share the gospel and see if an ecclesia could start up there in Philippi. But what he finds is is a woman there who who whose heart had been stirred by God.

and her heart was softened and it was ready to hear the gospel. And so she was a businesswoman. She her name was Lydia. And Lydia sold fine. uh clothing, materials.

uh purple from thyatira And so so the This this woman here's Paul and Silas, and she wants to become a Christian. In fact, she wants to express it openly and publicly, and she gets baptized. And at that point right there, Lydia said. Says to Paul, hey, now that I'm a follower of Christ, in a paraphrase here, She says, Why don't you just you guys come to my home? I want to help take care of you guys and provide some lodging for you.

Um she probably had some some resources and some some food and and just decent lodging for them.

So I'm sure at this point in time, Silas and the team are just so excited about this this meeting of of of Lydia, because now she has a household of of workers in her home. And so this is probably causing kind of a buzz in the area out there, just outside of the walls of Philippi, which I've had a chance to walk among. And uh so this bustling ancient city.

Now we have the first. European Christian converts to Christianity.

So this is an exciting time, isn't it?

So at this point in time, you have Paul and Silas that are continuing to have a time of prayer. And during this time of prayer, there's a young girl. And she's proclaiming amongst the people, and she says, This is a man who comes in the name of the Most High God. And she keeps proclaiming that and shouting it out. And so this little girl, this young woman.

She was owned by men, so you could call this early form, an early form of trafficking of some sort. She was a fortune teller. We don't know all of the terrible details that this might have involved. But this this kind of demonic power that this girl had, she was making a lot of money for these men. And so when when the people would hear this young woman calls these things out about Paul proclaiming in the name of the Most High God, well, what was Paul to think?

He probably thought that the people hearing this would think that he was maybe one of the slave owners or something. I mean, Paul was a foreigner. He was. New to this area, and there's this girl. And so finally, it just says in the scripture there in Acts 16 that Paul just got annoyed by all this.

Didn't want to make it confusing anymore, and he just goes up to her and he casts the demon out of this. out of this slave girl. this this this uh this girl who's telling a fortune teller.

Now we don't know anything really else after that, but I'm hoping, now this is just me just thinking, that hopefully Lydia got word of this. And that Lydia may have taken her under her wing. We don't know that. But I'm just hoping that that was the case. I I would I would have to venture to guess There's a pretty good chance of that, that that happened.

But when when this happened, it made some people very upset, and that would have been the slave owners of the girl.

So this particular instance then turned into kind of a twist and a turn, an unexpected, but like I said earlier, God is in the unexpected. And so what happens? They get taken before the powers of the city. And they're being lied about. They're being told that they they come with these customs that are that are not right.

And they're trying to almost take this moral high ground. And they're just b building this case against Paul and Silas. and they get beaten. Their backs get beaten. And they get then thrown into jail.

Can you imagine what Silas is thinking? Here they start off with this great conversion of Lydia, a place to stay. Everything seems to be good. Probably a good meal or two. And meeting other people, and wow, what a change!

What all of a sudden a turn here! But God is going to be glorified because.

Now, in this suffering, that you know, Paul later, about 10 years later, he writes a letter. to this very group. And this group, well you know the book, the letter, it's called the Philippians. And so you read through that and you see how much Paul loved these people and you see it here because he's willing to take the lashes, take the beating. And he doesn't say that right now that he is a Roman citizen.

He kind of holds that card. Kind of in his back pocket because there's supposed to be a trial for a Roman citizen for anything like this. But that's not what happened here. And so Paul at midnight, he's in the stocks. He's been beaten, he's been humiliated, he's been lied about.

And Paul just kind of be is kind of quiet about it, I think, but he's not quiet in his praise to God because he and Silas are praising God, they're singing, they're praising God, they're singing out at midnight. And then something traumatic happens. If you've ever been through an earthquake before, it's no fun. And this was an earthquake that shocked. Shook off the shackles on their hands.

Now, you had these other prisoners in the jail, and nobody left. He was about ready to take his life. And Paul said, nobody has left. Don't harm yourself. Stop.

And this guy's ready to do himself in because if the prisoners get away, he's gonna be humiliated and he's gonna probably be killed himself. And so Paul just pleads with him and yells out. Don't do yourself any harm.

Now, if you and I were in that situation, would we even care about about this jailer that's a question that i have to pose to us because Sometimes in our pursuits to carry out the Great Commission, we might look at somebody and think, Well, now I don't know if I really care that much about this person. I care a little bit more about that person. We really have to ask God to just take away any of that kind of bias about about who God is bringing across our path, even if they've caused us some suffering.

So, this jailer, you know, at the time of going into jail, he wasn't asking any questions or trying to help Paul and Silas in any way. But you know what? People were listening. Have you ever had somebody come up to you and say, Hey, I think I saw you over at that store that one day? Yeah, I think I saw you.

Were you there about 2 o'clock? And you say, Yeah, yeah, that's right. Oh, I didn't see you, but oh, but they saw you, though. And so. All to say is that When you're praising God, if you're just even at the gas station and you're talking to somebody about the Lord, or praise God, that happened to me one time.

And anyway, just you know, he people are watching and we want to make sure we maximize every moment we have for the glory of God. And so as we go along this story here, We find that Paul is asked by the jailer, and the jailer says. What must I do to be saved? He says, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And so there's there's not a doing, it's been done.

But of course, the the the the jailer might be a little confused. He's heard about the the Greek gods and and the different things you might have to do to appease them and and you have the Roman gods and you have all of this debauchery and all this confusion and And then you have these two men who are who are there just preaching the gospel and they get thrown into jail unjustly for for for nothing but c but casting a demon out of a girl who's telling fortunes. And so this jailer, don't you get excited about meeting this jailer in heaven someday? Because he gets saved. He gets saved and he wants to be public too.

He gets baptized. He goes home. He goes, Honey, I'm home and I've got two prisoners to join me here. Let's get them some food and let's clean up their wounds. Can you imagine what the wife might have said coming through the door with these two prisoners, Paul and Silas?

It must have been a little scary, but then the whole family comes to Christ. You know, the Lord wants to reach your family. Maybe that's something that the Lord's going to speak to you about right now. Maybe you've come to Christ, but the rest of your family has not. And so that can be difficult.

That can be challenging. But I want to encourage you, just like this jailer, to not give up and just realize that God can do a miracle. in the lives of your family.

So so this baptism happens the the wounds are cleaned up by by uh the jailer. He's got his probably his uh workers, the servants in the house and they're they're all attending to Paul and and you'd think at that point maybe it was time for Paul and Silas to go back to Lydia's house. Outside of the city, it sounds like a safer bet. But no, what does Paul do? He goes back to the jail.

And the the the magistrates The I hear the music. We'll continue the story here in just a few minutes on Troop Talk Live. I'd love to hear from you if you want to share and give praise to the Lord about. how you experience a mission trip. Or maybe you're interested in going to Greece next year.

Give us a call 866-348-652-8. 7884. That's 866-348-7884. We'll be right back. Truth Talk Live Welcome back to Truth Talk Live.

This is Russ East, your host. Filling in for my friend Stu Epperson. You can reach us here at 866-348-7884. I have my friend, Saji Lucas. with Reaching Indians Ministries International.

Saji, will you share with us, first of all, thank you for being on Truth Talk Live. Indeed, absolutely, Raj. Thank you for the privilege. Wow, what a privilege this this is, isn't it, to talk about missions here on Missions Monday. Did you know it's Missions Monday today?

It's missions every day, right? But today, we're going to talk about India. Tell us about the ministry of Rimi, Rich Reaching Indians Ministries International. Thank you, Russ. It's a great opportunity to share my story.

How God saved me from darkness to light. I was a young man, hopeless. contemplating to commit suicide when I was twenty years old. Jesus Christ came into my life through two Indian missionaries when I was 20 years old. forty-five years ago.

And that changed my life rush. And I was able to experience peace and joy in my life. Then I wanted to share that hope with my siblings, my parents and my neighbors. It took eight years. I cried every day for the salvation of my family members.

And I said, God, I am happy, not fully satisfied. Until you bring everybody to the faith, my God, good God, living God, my Jesus heard the prayer, and everybody came to Christ. Today Most of them are missionaries serving in various places in India.

South two in South India, three in Central India, one in the Nepal border. Another one in Wisconsin.

So, my family found the peace. God saved us from darkness to light. I was teaching business in India. I came to America. When I was twenty eight years old, my wife Moni grew up in New York.

And when I was working in New York, God called me. For the ministry, it was very clear that uh he called me. One passage in the Bible, 1 John chapter 2, 15 to 17, says. Especially verse 17: The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God will live forever and ever. I knew God is calling me.

My wife and I surrendered our lives to the purpose of God, who came to Chicago to go to Trinity. In the Matla University or a Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. And I graduated in 92, got already prepared to return to India, study India, my home country. I never traveled outside of my state, Kerala, and ninety two, ninety three, Russ, I traveled across India, I saw the country, I cried like a child when I saw poverty, spiritual darkness.

so many experiences broke my heart. I came back to Chicago And I was part of an evangelical free church. A founder Rimi, Reaching Indian Ministries International, We are a church planting organization. Evangelism and such planting is our number one program. India, my friends, one point four billion people.

four times of the United States. The population of India Four times the land is only one-third of America. Think about the population. India is the largest populated country in the world, 80% Hindu. 15% Islam.

Then you have Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Christianity. A small percentage, we are a minority in South India. and then North India, less than one percentage.

So RIMI, Reaching Indians Ministry stands for reaching I mean, REMI stands for Reaching Indian Ministries International to Reach India and Indians Worldwide.

So such planting is our number one. Today, we support around twenty two hundred Christian workers. In South Asia, mainly in India, around fifteen thousand house churches they are managing. to raise up missionaries. We train law nationals.

We have a seminary in Central India and thirty Bible colleges across India, neighboring countries. Around 1,000 students graduate every year. We try to take 200 young graduates. as a few features and um and community social workers. and they will be able to share the love of Christ.

You know, because of the spirit because of spiritual darkness, so much is going on People don't know the truth. I just heard Raz uh a story in Tamil Nadu, Chennai, where Ramesh Krishnan comes from. An upper caste girl fell in love with a lower caste boy in Burugan. And their family didn't like that, and the family forced that alliance. But uh but uh she decided to marry him.

And uh so her father and uh she, there was some kind of uh argument. And because of that relationship, he killed this beautiful twenty-six-year-old daughter. It's a multi-killing. Yeah.

you know, somebody going a lower upper c you know uppercaste girl marrying a lower caste. Only Christianity is the hope, my friends. Christianity can only bring people from all backgrounds. We are all created in the image of God. Only Jesus Christ can save and everybody in India and and all over the world.

So we are big interfaces. And second, leadership development. Third, engaging in the community through various compassion programs. We have hospital, we have organizers, child development programs, clean water, sanitation, schools, many schools.

So we are asking many of my friends In the US to pray for India, go come to India and support generously. We have so many opportunities. Absolutely. The Lord used you in my life. Because back in 2010, I had a chance to go to Nagpur, where you have one of your facilities there.

It's an amazing place. I got to teach at the seminary, and I got to be with one of your staff workers, and I will never forget it. You guys were so kind to me. I stayed with your brother. And I want to encourage you, if you're listening to this today, and maybe the Lord is moving your heart, in your heart, to contact Remy, R-I-M-I-G.

Is that right, Saji? Yeah, R I M I dot O R G org. Yes, yes, and you might be called to go to India and to carry out the great commission to share the gospel.

Now things are getting a little bit Uh how should we say it? It's it's it can be more tense. A lot of persecution, a lot of persecution, but all of you can come to the stories. and you can share the love of Christ and all over India. The people are hungry for People are everywhere hungry for the truth.

People never heard about Christ. One time when I was asking a driver, do you know Christ? he said he doesn't live here. And so people never heard of the name of Jesus Christ. You have plenty of opportunities And please come.

I'm inviting you to come and call our office 847-265-0630. eight four seven two six five zero six three zero. We are based here in Chicago or outside of Chicago. Yes. And in fact, didn't you recently have a graduation and you had a lot of young people that are going out to be church planters.

Tell us about that in the last coup few minutes we have to get. Yeah, over one thousand students graduated. They will be going to different locations, such as such planters. We are, as an organization, taking two hundred graduates and training them and sending out all over India and beyond India. to establish house churches and serve the communities, share the love of Christ.

You can be a part of it. one hundred dollars, fifty dollars, two hundred dollars, two hundred and fifty dollars according to your abilities, and you can support our ministry. Money goes long way in India. Amen. And aren't you going to be in Utah pretty soon?

You're going to be putting on that. September 20th, we have a banquet coming, I believe 20th. Uh it will be at uh First Evangelical Free Church, Salt Lake City. I want many of you to come. Yeah.

Yes, yes, and you can hear more about it. I've been to one of those. My wife and I were in the Orlando area, and it's just a great time to learn about what the Lord is doing through Rimi, Reaching Indians Ministries International.

So what a privilege this is. What a blessing it is to have you on Truth Talk Live today. Saji, we will pray with you. And if you feel led to give to any of these good ministries that we've had on today, we've had Word of Life Bible Institute. We've had YWAM.

We've had REMI. I've shared a little bit out of Acts 16, Utah Partnerships for Christ. Uh w we we're we're we're looking at uh just trying to be faithful, right, S Saji? We we have to keep our eyes on being faithful. Thank you so much for your hardware mission, Russ, and your people are great.

I'm sure many people will call us and let's reach the great land of India and the neighboring countries.

Okay, super. Thank you for being with us. God bless you, Sabe. Thank you very much. Thank you so much.

If you'd like to be on the program, we have just a few minutes left, but you can call us here at 866-466-8656-865. three four eight seven. 7884. That's 8665. 3487884.

Maybe you have a question about what the gospel is all about. Maybe you don't know the Lord as your Savior. You haven't put your faith and trust in Christ alone, that He took our sin on the cross. He bore the the the the shame, he bore the payment, all the sin and all the world. Imagine that that uh that uh that fallen uh nature that that Adam gave us that we inherited Imagine that being erased because of the perfect Lamb of God, exchanging his righteousness for our sin.

The only thing you bring to Jesus. Is your sin. That's all that you have to do. There's really not even a doing, it's just. It's just Saying yes, saying yes, Lord, I accept what you did for me and I trust in it fully.

This is what the gospel is all about. Think about that thief on the cross. Think about what Paul was doing when he was in Philippi and he was sharing the gospel, and little did he know, and little did Silas know, and Timothy and You don't hear much about Timothy and Luke that were there, but I believe that they were there off on the sidelines of it all. God was using this in these unexpected moments To bring glory to Him and to get the gospel going. Church plants were started through suffering.

Thank you for being with us and for praying for Truth Talk Live staff and everybody here. Thank you to Randy and And to Grayson, thank you everybody for being on the program. Appreciate you. God bless. See you next week.
