The Freemans discuss the importance of gold and sound money in the face of inflation and central bank digital currencies. They advocate for a return to the gold standard and propose legislation to make gold and silver legal tender, allowing people to use debit cards to spend their gold and silver. They also discuss biblical stewardship and the impact of their ministry on souls for Christ.

There's gold in them hills, so they say. What about gold? What about pirate's gold?

What about the economic war room? We have got so much to talk about, and one of the foremost experts in the world on gold, no exaggeration, no embellishing, is Kevin Freeman. He's sitting next to me with his sweet wife, Marnie Freeman. You guys are hosts, you're authors. You have an amazing ministry in Texas.

Who are the Freemans? How about that question? Hey, we're servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what we do, and God's called us to bring constitutional currency back to America and to bring sound money. So it's not fiat money, it's not paper money, it's not the money that's losing value every year to inflation. And that's one of the things that we do out of the economic war room and pirate money radio and so forth. Okay, wow. And what would you say, let's talk to the first lady, Mrs. Freeman.

How would you answer that question? Well, just as you said, we are on so many projects writing books and gold is just one of those projects, but the entire thing of doing all those projects comprehensively is to spread the gospel. Well, I love that.

I love your heart for the gospel. And now people hear about this gold and this currency, and they have not maybe read your book yet, Pirate Money, which you gave me a copy of, which I am thoroughly enjoying. It's taken me a little longer to read because my financial acumen isn't quite up there yet, but I'm getting it.

I'm starting to get it. But this isn't just conspiracy or anything like that. We really are plagued with this thing called inflation. We do have a Fed that's printing more money than we can keep in circulation and it's causing some problems, but gold hasn't changed, right? No, in fact, a hundred years ago, one ounce of gold would buy a good man's suit and shoes and a shirt and everything else. Well, one ounce of gold today is $3,300 or so.

You can buy a pretty nice suit for that and get shoes and a shirt and everything. Gold is God's money. It's always been God's money. You start Genesis to Revelation, you read about money, it's going to be gold, silver or copper. Paper money was hated by our founders of this nation. They hated paper money because it's not backed by anything.

It always results in mass inflation. And in fact, the Bible talks about the difference between gold and silver. If your works are gold and silver, they will be purified by fire, but wood, hay and stubble, which is what paper money is made out of, they get burned up. Okay. Kevin Freeman, your book, Pirate Money, fascinating title.

Why do you call it that? Talk about the nuances of financial economics, but talk about it in layman's terms for people out there can kind of catch up to what you're saying. Well, if you were in 1776 and you're going to look at a dollar, as our founders were when they wrote the Declaration of Independence, when you use the term dollar, you're talking about a Spanish milled dollar. It's a certain weight of silver. And so when the constitution talked about coinage, they didn't want British coins.

We had rejected the British. They were using Spanish milled dollars, also known as pieces of eight and gold doubloons. Well, when you hear those today, you think pirates, that's pirate money. It was pirate money to them as well in 1776, 1783, 1785, whatever during the period of the founders, most of the money that circulated in the United States was captured Spanish coins by pirates from Spanish galleons. And that's what we use as the monetary system. And so you chart the whole course of that, the history of it through your book, Pirate Money, but you're doing this all the time on your economic war room, show, TV, radio nationwide. Something you're saying, Kevin, Marnie Freeman, something you're sharing about money, about gold, about currency, about stewardship, about the kingdom of God is causing stations all over the country to carry your content.

What is this appetite about all this? People are worried about inflation. They're worried about central bank digital currencies and the control that that would force. They're worried about the whole notion that some foreign government wants to stop using the dollar.

And you've heard about the BRICS nation. So people say, what is money? And gosh, when I was a kid, a $20 bill would buy everything you needed for a week. Today, a $20 bill is kind of an afterthought.

That's not all that much money. And so people want a solution. The constitution gave us a solution. God's word gives us a solution.

And so we just want to provide that in the money system. Marnie, what's it like to be married to this guy and to get phone calls at your house from all kinds of heads of state, like high level people like this recently, you know, the governor of Arkansas just passed your bill and the legislation. What's it like, Marnie, to be connected to all this?

Oh my gosh, it is really incredible. It's been a journey. You know, when you say I'm going to do whatever you want me to do, Lord, when you get on the best roller coaster ride of your life, it's just like that.

And being with him, it's just truly amazing. And being with a governor and the governor signs a bill and hands you a pen. Tell us what happened there in Arkansas and three other states. You're just going to be in all the states hopefully soon. We hope so.

Yeah. Governor Sanders in Arkansas signed the legislation making the first pirate money legislation ever passed in Arkansas. And then we were together where the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, I asked a question. Hey, you got this bill. It passed in Florida. Will you sign it passed unanimously out of the house and the Senate and Governor DeSantis is absolutely I'll sign it to roaring applause because people want real true constitutional currency sound money.

Okay. So probably speaking, what is what's in the bill and what, what, what, what does it change? Basically it makes gold and silver legal tender and then it gives people a way that they can spend it at a store. And I don't mean talking, walking in with a gold coin and shaving off a few pieces.

Marnie describes his, go ahead. I would say like you have a debit card on your dollars, right? Why don't you just have a debit card on your own gold and silver? That's what, so then you can walk in with your own gold and silver on a debit card into the grocery store, pay your bills, buy gas, whatever you need to do. And then obviously once it's made legal tender and transactional capital gains should go away.

We have precedents for that. And I mean it's going to do unlock. I say unlock the gold.

People close to the president have said that they will support this at the national level. It'll be state offered gold and silver currency that you can spend with a debit card. You can write a check on or whatever. You don't have to weigh out the gold.

It's all measured. It's all, it's called vaulted gold. And when it's in the vault, they know exactly how much you own. And then if I bought something from you, Stu, I would just send some of my gold to you, to your account. Just the same you do with a check or debit card. I would say that people ask how, you can't walk into a store and they receive gold even if it's on a debit card. So what it does is it withdraws from your account, your gold and then automatically switches back to the US dollar. That's the same way it happens in Europe.

You go to Europe, you take a debit card from the US or a credit card, you're paying in dollars, they're receiving euros. But if they want to receive dollars or if they want to receive gold, they'll have that option. It's a personal optional gold and silver standard. Okay. Now I'm going to ask you why this is so important. I'm going to ask you to make an eternal application because this is a Christian talk show. We try to encourage people in what really matters, what really lasts forever. Before I do, I want to tell everyone, this is Stu Epperson.

My voice has been recovering and actually went a little deeper. So bear with me on that. But Marnie and Kevin Freeman are here. They host a national international show called Economic War Room. They do articles, they write prolifically.

They've got this amazing book, Pirate Money, which I'm knee deep into right now. Why is this so important? Why are you so passionate about this gold, this pirate money, the gold currency and all that stuff, all this legislation trying to get this, all the states and all that?

Well God's word says that unjust weights and measures are an abomination to God. And the federal government has printing money. They have now $37 trillion in debt, which means they just continue to print money that's not backed by anything. That hurts the average person and poor people more than anyone else. Wealthy people can protect themselves against inflation. They have all ways to invest and so forth. But the average person, if you started saving for a house and you put aside a certain amount of money over five years, the value of that money in five years would be substantially less than it is when you started.

So you're running uphill all the time. This helps everyday Americans have a way to preserve their purchasing power and maybe get ahead. It is a just weight and measure and that's important to God. What do you say about so many people who are believers who are not tithing? That they're not, you know, we're not giving, we're miserly, we're just hanging onto our stuff.

We're not as generous as you should be. What would you say about biblical stewardship and those principles you're trying to communicate every week on the economic war room? Well, there's only three things you can do with your money. You can give it, you can spend it, or you can invest it. And all three of them should line up with your values. Your giving should be to churches and areas that promote godliness and promote God's plan. Your spending should do that as well. You don't want to be funding things that will damage America. And you're investing.

All three should line up. People should give because it's not your money. It's God's money. It says the silver and the gold are mine, saith the Lord. And your silver and gold will not save you in the day of the wrath of the Lord.

But here's the exciting part. You can actually use your silver and gold, your money, and you can buy souls for the kingdom by spreading the gospel. So you can actually carry that money into eternity in the form of souls. The Pay It Forward, Marnie, how have you seen your ministry of economic war room, pirate money, retreat center in Dallas and Texas area, how have you seen it impact souls for Christ? Can you give me an example of how you've seen it be a blessing to people in the spiritual realm with what really counts, kind of as he shared a second ago? Well I'd say similar to what he said, that people actually realize the truths that are set apart in God's word and we use our retreat center and we use all of those things to, like I said earlier, further the gospel. And we've had a couple pastors come and tell us that the transactional gold and silver option that we're trying to put forth is God's financial arc.

And I was like, wow! And so, just thinking from an eternal perspective, it's God's financial arc for his children, but also his children to come, because they're not all in the kingdom yet. Okay, this isn't fool's gold, this is the real thing. It's pirate money and these folks have a website and they have a show, Economic War Room. What's the best way for folks to get in contact with you, Kevin Freeman? Learn more about your ministry, watch your videos, check out the legislation. There may be people that want to get this on their bills in their own states. Economicwarroom.com for our shows, PirateMoneyRadio.com for our radio show, and then TransactionalGold.com to learn about pirate money and how to get it in your state.

Alright, thank you guys for being on. Now, favorite Bible verse. What would you hang your hat on if you had to pull one verse out? 2 Chronicles 34, 14 is the one God's dealing with me. It says that when they took out the money that had been brought into the house of the Lord, Hilkiah the priest uncovered the book of the law the Lord has given by Moses, which goes to Luke 16, which says, if you're not faithful in your unrighteous mammon, you will not be trusted with true riches. How about you Marnie? You got a verse that comes to heart? Yes, that's unrelated. But my favorite and what means the most to me is in Zephaniah where it says the Lord sings over me. I just, it's special.
