Truth Matters with Dr. Cheryl Davis, broadcast #22

Welcome to Truth Matters with Dr. Cheryl Davis, as she addresses the moral collapse in America. Since the Clinton era, the decay of America has been on a fast track to self-destruction, with some describing Hillary Clinton as a modern-day Jezebel. Under her leadership and watch as First Lady, U.S. Senator, and U.S. Secretary of State, she advanced the feminist agenda aggressively and is personally responsible for bringing spiritism into the White House during her husband's presidency.

Spiritism is the philosophy of divination, astrology, and communicating with the dead via demonic spirits. The Obama administration redefined the definition of marriage, lit up the White House with rainbow colors on June 26, 2015, when the U.S. Supreme Court legalized gay marriage. On the last night before Trump's inauguration, former President Obama tweets to the nation that his greatest achievement while in office had been marriage equality. With all of this and more paving the way for Joy Behar, co-host of the ABC's The View, on February 13, 2018, to mock Vice President Mike Pence for his Christian faith, saying she doesn't want a leader who hears the voice of Jesus quaining prayer and God speaking to us as a form of mental illness.

To her, Mr. Pence suffers with hallucinations and delusions. What has been disappointing to me in this episode with Ms. Behar is that the church's backlash was seldom heard in the national media. Had Ms. Behar made such a condescending and downright blasphemous comment about Mohammed and the Muslim religion, ABC would have responded immediately with an apology, as they and Ms. Behar would have surely faced imminent danger from the Muslim community.

However, the silence from ABC after Ms. Behar's mocking Vice President Pence's prayer life is deafening. It demonstrates a total lack of respect and the overarching disdain that some in society have for the word of God and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. For those of us who have taken a stand for righteousness, we are labeled as extremists, floribles, mentally deranged and super religious. This and more is certainly evidence to show that the church in America and born again Christians are under an invisible and aggressive attack by demonic forces and those engaged in satanic warfare, hoping to defeat the Christian faith and silence the church. These attacks not only target the church's influence in society, but has penetrated the church inwardly in hopes of destroying it from the inside out. To adapt to these new rules of society and to fill our pews, some church leaders preach prosperity, tolerance and compromise, sound and biblical doctrine in exchange for secular good principles as a means of church growth and church wills. These wayward churches are damaging the faith, watering down the gospel and rendering themselves spiritually ineffective. In lieu of being a sword that is rightly dividing the word of truth and being salt and light in their city, they have become honey and shade instead.

The church is producing good people, not authentic Christians. You might ask of me, Dr. Davis, how do you know this? I know it as any good physician would know by how the patient's symptoms are presenting themselves at the time of examination.

Symptoms and the patient history usually lead the physician to hard evidence of the patient's diagnosis. I know that in this case, by which I have been given insight by studying God's word from prayer and intercession, from understanding what is given me through the Holy Spirit and by the evidence that is being presented in this matter. The evidence in this case speaks for itself.

When you smell smoke, you can be assured that fire must be nearby. And when you see immorality at work in the nation and in the church, then you can know that the devil is in the house. Now, here are some facts that are strong indicators of where the church has been and where she is headed unless God Almighty intervenes with revival and renewal. According to the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview, listen to these statistics from Cold Case Christianity. In 2002, Southern Baptist Council on Family Life reports to the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting, 88 percent of the children in evangelical homes leave church at the age of 18. The book The Last Christian Generation by Josh McDowell, written in 2006, says 63 percent of teenage Christians don't believe that Jesus is the son of the one true God. 51 percent don't believe that Jesus rose from the dead. 68 percent don't believe that the Holy Spirit is a real entity.

A LifeWay research study in 2007 said that of the 70 percent of Christians who will leave the faith in college, only 35 percent of them eventually return. What does all this mean? It means that the nation and the church are in a spiritual meltdown. And unless God intervenes, we are headed into a spiritual and moral catastrophe and crisis greater than what was experienced in the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. I'm Dr. Cheryl Davis.
