The Trump administration has signed executive orders aimed at increasing transparency and oversight in government agencies, while also addressing issues such as student loans and abortion. The move has sparked debate among Democrats and conservatives, with some seeing it as a step towards greater accountability and others as a power grab.

And hey, so great to have you here on a Wednesday, middle of the week, the greatest day of the entire week, my friends. And boy, is there a lot to talk about. A lot of things obviously going on with the news of the day.

Are you tired yet? Are you exhausted from the Trump administration and what's happening in Washington, D.C.? I know. We have to prepare ourselves each and every day for it.

So great to have you along. It is the Todd Searns Radio Show. Here's how you can reach out to us: 901-260-5926, 901-260-5926. There is some executive orders that came out from the Trump administration last night. We have some news from some circuit courts and judges that, Democrats, I'm sorry, you may not like this news, and we'll get to that in just a moment as well.

And we have a hearing ongoing right now for the potential secretary. for the Department of Labor. And this one may be kind of the wild card for the Trump administration. We may go live to that here in just a little bit as well. Coming up on the show, we have next hour, Congressman Derek Van Orden on the program from the great 3rd District of Wisconsin, actually out in Israel as we speak.

And we'll be calling in to give an update on what's going on with the ongoing quote-unquote ceasefire, the returning of hostages from Hamas, and of course the rebuilding of Gaza.

So we'll get to all that and more as well. But for the bad news of the day for the Democrats, I'm sorry. I'm going live! Yeah, we have, if you are a student loan holder, which I am myself, I have many thousands of dollars of student loans that I'm working on paying off. But I have not worked on trying to ask the government to relieve myself of those student loans.

I have taken the due diligence to be a responsible adult, and I attempt to adult on my own and pay back those student loans the best way that I possibly can. And apparently, that's what we're all going to have to do because, according to Fox News, the latest out of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals is the Biden administration's. Final, last attempt of trying to forgive many student loans across the nation in their quote-unquote save plan has been shot down.

So, Democrats, I'm sorry, didn't quite work out for you. According to the Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, they have released a statement saying that there is not only blocking the attempt now, but for all setting the precedent for future presidents as well moving forward. Though Joe Biden is out of office, this precedent is imperative to ensuring a president cannot force working Americans to foot the bill for someone else's Ivy League debt. That was in the statement from that judge. And it makes sense, but the other side not too happy about that because the wealth redistribution is something that is beginning to crumble before their feet.

And it's kind of exciting to watch, right? That's what they've pushed. And you know that if we had, God forbid, the other administration take hold as of January 20th, that that's what we would have seen: an aggressive attempt to not only use it for student loans, but the student loans, the health care plans, and so much more. Nonetheless, that being said, there were executive orders that were signed from Donald Trump late last night, and really driving it home, man. His agenda.

Moving fast and furious, and promises made, promises kept. A short while ago, President Trump signed three items. The first is an executive order relating to the affordability and availability of in vitro fertilization and other fertility treatments. These are treatments that have become unaffordable for many Americans or have been unaffordable for many Americans. And the executive order is a directive to the Domestic Policy Council to examine ways to make IVF and other fertility treatments more affordable for more Americans.

Okay, first, I know the whole three of them. They're going to get to those in just a minute. I want to break these down one by one because this, I believe, is an extremely important agenda item for the Trump administration, for Republicans and conservatives, and for those that obviously have looked at the abortion issue or the child care in this nation and ways that we can actually better our conservative and Christian beliefs on an issue like this. The IVF is an important one. I'm glad he's focusing on that.

But it goes beyond that, right? Yeah. Because I always tie it into the abortion problem in the country, and the Democrats have tried to do the aha gotcha moment. If you've noticed, since the reversal of the Roe v. Wade, which I come from a state, state of Kansas, where we were the first ones after that reversal of Roe v.

Wade with the lawsuit at the federal level under the previous Trump administration, we were the first in the nation to try and put up a constitutional amendment that would change who has control and power over the abortion issue. Here in Kansas, for some reason, our state Supreme Court said that it's a protected constitutional right. We try to take the power away from them, give it to our state legislature to where we could put some barriers and guidelines on abortion, which I don't know, wild concept, right? But apparently that was way too controversial and it didn't pass. And we assumed that it was just too soon after the Roe v.

Wade reversal at the federal level, and it was a hot topical issue.

Well, the Democrats now have made the claim that there has been an increase in abortion issues in the nation since the reversal of Roe v. Wade to counter the conservative agenda of, hey, the states get to make their choice. It's a concept of federalism. And now we get to have better control at it on a state by state level. And they've kind of called us the hypocrites.

Which We're not. That's kind of silly. But we do have to do better at our messaging because now, what's the next plan for the conservative Christian movement? especially on abortion. If we're seeing an increase in abortion rates because people are now paranoid, they're making it their number one issue.

They're going to states that have looser laws in it, like Kansas, where we're kind of the central hub now for the entire Mid-America region, and other states like California that have the same kind of policy, then we need to find ways to curb that. But what's the next step? The entire argument for years has always been: let's bring it back down from the federal level and bring it back down to the states, and we can address it then.

Now there's the debate: do we put a federal guideline in? Do we just continue to battle it at the state level? What's the next step? And I'm glad we're starting to address that because while the turmoil is going on from the Democrat side of the aisle, we can finally start figuring out our side in order to have proper messaging and plan and strategize for the next mode of attack, especially on that social issue. The second item that we signed was a presidential memorandum imposing radical transparency requirements on government departments and agencies.

In keeping with President Trump and the Administration's broader commitment to governmental transparency, what this presidential memorandum would do is require, as waste, fraud and abuse is uncovered, as programs are canceled, and ultimately as taxpayer dollars are saved, this presidential memorandum would require departments and agencies to make all of the details of that freely available to the public. Lastly, we have another executive order that President Trump signed relating to independent agencies. This executive order would establish important oversight functions in the Office of Management and Budget and its subsidiary. Office, OIRA, supervising independent agencies and many of their actions, and also reestablishes the long-standing norm that only the president or the attorney general can speak for the United States when stating an opinion as to what the law is. All right.

So, the three executive orders signed yesterday from the Trump administration, that's what, like 300 and who knows how many now with executive actions. But more transparency, more oversight, more information being released to the public. I'm kind of okay with those, and we continue to rock promises made, promises kept. I'm really excited not only for the transparency we're seeing within these government agencies, but just the overall information being given to the public. If you follow the Doge, highly recommend you follow the Doge.gov website, or if you don't have a Tweety account, highly recommend you go on Tweety or XNow just for the sole purpose of following the Doge page because it is hilarious watching the posts on there that are completely transparent.

The contracts, the details of In fact, I believe now they're encouraging that they want a page or the website to show the details, and Elon Musk has called for this as well, for the details of what each contract was and what it was doing. That has been canceled from the federal government. How much money we're saving, exactly what it did, who was involved with it. You can't ask for better transparency. And I'm kind of okay with that.

But you know the attack from the other side of the aisle right now, because they're still in disarray. They're trying to find their identity, which we'll talk about later in the program. The identity from the Democrats. I mean, I know we've banned, we've banned the majority of their identities they tried to have. See?

Well, they can identify as whatever they want to, I guess, now. But we've banned most of them, so they're trying to find a new identity. And right now, it's the fact that they're apparently defending the wastes, defending the fraud, and now saying that Donald Trump isn't working as much because he spent 12 out of the last 30 days, or however many days it's been, I guess we're almost at 30 days since the inauguration. He spent 12 days that has been on the golf course. And because he's on the golf course, apparently he's not getting a lot done.

Is that agenda really going to work? I highly doubt it. With the executive orders now, we're seeing more transparency and information coming out. And I personally cannot wait for the oversight committee that we have in the House now that's run by Anna Paulina Luna, that's also going to include Congresswoman Nancy Mace, that's going to include Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and some others on the oversight to release more documents on the JFK assassinations. More information about the investigation on COVID or on 9-11.

Apparently, that's an investigation ongoing within the government and UFOs and UAPs. And I'm totally okay with that as well. There it is. Throw a lot out there. There's so much more to get to as well.

We have the vote from Cash Patel yesterday. We'll talk about RFK Jr. that's made an official statement as well, is now the official secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services. What could we see on the health front as well? And we want to hear from you.

901-260-5926-901-260-5200. 5926. When we come back, I want to go live to the ongoing hearing right now for Lori Chavez-DeRimer, former Congresswoman and the potential secretary for the Department of Labor, a very pro-union individual. And is that the best way to approach the Labor Department, especially with the unions that have backed off on attacking Republicans because of their workers being so pro-Trump and making an economy where maybe unions are going to be essentially null and void? Is that the future of the workforce?

And what could that look like?

Well, do that when we come back here. It is Andy Hoosier filling in for the great Todd Starnes on the Todd Starnes radio program. Stay here. On February 28th, let me tell you what Focus Features is doing. They're inviting you to experience the most inspirational film of the year.

It is the Todd Cearns Radio Show. Andy Hoosier filling in for Todd Stearns today on a Wednesday. Boy, I'm telling you, man, if you were not ready for the Trump administration, the media is already exhausted. By the time they actually build up an argument for something that he's done, he's already three steps ahead. That sounded like six hours ago, bro.

It's kind of fun to watch because they don't know how to handle themselves. Apparently, Chuck Schumer and the Democrats are putting together what they're calling a quote-unquote task force to try and keep up with Donald Trump on his agenda and go after everything that he's doing. It's not going to work. I mean, you still have to respond. And by the time you respond, he signed three more executive orders on completely different topics.

And every one of them. Are ones that make their heads just explode entirely.

So I'm okay with that. 901-260-5926. Going on, we will go to it in a little bit. Apparently, they're taking a bit of an RR, but Laurie Chavez-DeReamer. Former congresswoman and candidate for the Department of Labor Secretary for the Trump administration.

Ongoing hearings right now. And I got to admit, I have been absolutely ecstatic with every one of the nominees that Trump has made, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Cash Patel, which, by the way, Cash, if you have heard, ended up going through the cloture vote yesterday evening and apparently tentatively on the schedule to be voted on in the full Senate for confirmation to head up the FBI tomorrow on Thursday.

So if that's the case, man. Buckle up because there are some major reforms going on. This is the guy that did say he was going to turn the entire FBI building into a museum and reform the entire agency. Not to dismantle the agency, but to reform and get rid of all of the corruption and shenanigans. And as Joe Biden would say, the malarkey inside of the agency.

And I think most of us are okay with that one. But 901, 260, 5926, let's go to the phones and let's go to Harry right there in the flagship of the mighty 990 K William out of Memphis, Tennessee. Harry, what's going on, my friend? How are you? I see.

Uh not a whole lot is Trump is very busy, but I I called to say, you know, you were asking about where we go next with the uh abortion issue. Yes. The May. as a federal as a federal constitution first and heard amendment. defining the child's right beginning at conception and defining abortion as murder.

Hmm. That would be a bold statement. And I would agree with you on that case. That would be a bold one. And I don't know, I hope that we would have numbers for something like that, but we need to begin to rally and start that messaging now.

The entire argument that we've had on the conservative side, which I think helped us but yet hurt us at the same time, was we need to reverse Roe v. Wade. We need to bring him back down to the state level. It's a statewide issue. Government, federal government shouldn't be regulating moral issues.

And, uh,
