Kamala Harris Wants to Ban Columbus Day

Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. That's us, that's right, I love this American ride. Wow, you know what I was doing over the weekend? Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Starnes Radio Show.

Hope you are doing well today. And, wow, we have got so much to talk about. And I am in such a great mood over something that happened over the weekend.

Well, two things happened over the weekend. First of all, we have to give a shout-out to our good buddy Aiden, who is now in college waving the Trump flag and doing his part over on his university campus to get out the vote and hosted a big debate party a while back. Anyway, it's exciting to see young people standing up and embracing the conservative agenda right now in this country. And the other part of it is over the weekend, there were a group of us, and I was invited. I did not organize this, but we had some good folks that are rock-solid conservatives and bona fide Republicans, and they were out there.

They invited me to come out and do some sign-waving for President Trump, and we had a lot of fun. It was in Memphis, Tennessee, and we were right there on the side of this major road, and we were inviting people. They were giving away free Trump signs, which was pretty awesome. And I think over the course of the afternoon, gave away about 200 or so, maybe more Trump signs, other Republicans who were running for office. And there's a takeaway here.

And look at Saturday, people are busy, had a lot of football action over the weekend.

So there were a lot of things on people's minds. But the numbers of people that were driving by and they were honking their horns and the big rig. By the way, we even had a Memphis area transit bus, a Mata bus filled with people driving by. And the bus driver was honking the horn. That was exciting.

And yet there were even a few people that were actually when they drove by, they rolled down their windows and they said, you're number one. And they had the number one, you know, finger up. wow thank you but it was exciting and then people would pull in and they would they would say hey i want to get my my trump sign where can i pay we're like no no uh it is free of charge um if you would like to make a donation and uh the the ladies uh kristin knew uh one of the ladies kristin hicks one of the other ladies and a guy named justin johnson who works with our local vfw hall they organized all of this there was no political party involved it was just a bunch of conservatives who wanted to get out and show their support for president trump and and to go to a blue we're a dark blue city and plant our flag and say you know what we're here we're a part of this community and we're not going to be scared off we're going to stand our ground we are proud to be Republicans. We are proud to be Trump supporters, and we are proud to support bona fide Republican candidates. And we're going to make that known.

We're not ashamed to be conservatives. We're not ashamed to be Republicans. And as I was watching this small group of patriots standing on this roadway, it was really something. And you get a little welled up there. You get that lump in the throat watching these folks out there in a super red radically progressive city which by the way is now officially if you've read the news over the weekend the most dangerous city in america and yet you had these people out there saying i am proud to let people know that i'm a republican and all i could think of was imagine what could happen if we did this if just forget about it and I know a lot of these Republican parties, they've been infested with arguments, and there's fighting, there's the infighting, and people are power hungry, and it's all about the power grab.

And my thing is this. Fine, let those people do that. Go out to your country clubs and go drink your liquor and whatever. but the rest of us the rest of us we can still get out there and have an impact we can get those signs and i think they put they paid out of their own pocket they bought those signs out of with their own money and by the way when people wanted to make a donation they're donating the money and they raised several hundred dollars to the cajun navy that's helping people out there in the Carolinas right now. I just, I was proud to be an American over the weekend.

I was proud to be a Republican over the weekend, even though the Republican party had nothing to do with it. But I kept thinking here, wow, what if, what if the Republicans just, and I want to talk to the Republicans of the audience for just a moment here. All right, just think about this. What, what would happen in this country if the Republican, if these local Republican parties just set aside their petty differences? What if they stopped hiring the investigators to go after their Republican opponents?

What if they stopped trying to destroy people and instead embraced this incredible agenda we have? And what if instead of fighting amongst ourselves, we actually stood together as one? And we took our fight to every blue city in America. Imagine what could happen. And my hope is that others will be inspired based on what happened in radically progressive Memphis, Tennessee over the weekend.

And I would love to see, and I know I've got to fly out to Los Angeles this weekend for a series of events, but I would love for us to do this in some hardcore Democrat areas of Memphis. And I'll be out there. And I was proud to stand out there for about 90 minutes on Saturday. And I got to tell you, it was a lot of fun.

Sort of felt like a kid again. Working the sign line. You know, it was fun. And I think we all have to be willing to do that. Nobody's too big.

And that's the problem in the conservative movement, and especially in the talk radio world. First of all, you got your people screaming at you for three hours. Nobody wants to hear that. And then you've got the others that are like, well, that's just beneath me. I don't do that.

I'll go and collect my $25,000 speaking check, but I won't stand on a line and wave a flag. Why not? What's wrong with you? You too good for that? And this is what America is all about.

As a matter of fact, we even picked up a few additional listeners. met a guy who was driving his, he pulled in at a big old pickup truck and said, man, I, he says, I can't believe it. I listen to you all the time. You're really out here? I said, yes, sir.

I sure am. And the guy was off to a job work site or otherwise he would have stuck around and he would have grabbed a sign and waved it. I just, again, folks, that excites me. And if we can do that and imagine and by the way a couple of things impressed me about this all right and i these are just my observations this is entirely um scientific but the number of black motorists who were waving and honking their horns as they went by something's going on in the black community across this country right now and i know barack hussein obama went out there the other day and tried to shame everybody, tried to shame especially black men. I don't think black men in America really care what Barack Obama thinks anymore.

I really don't. I think they've been there, they've done it, and they've seen that it got them absolutely nowhere. And I think Barack Obama, when he went off and he lectured the black men in America for not supporting Kamala Harris, I think that really pissed them off. That's what I think happened here. But the numbers of blacks who were driving by here in Memphis, and I'm going to be on election day, you say, Todd, what are you going to be looking at?

I'm going to be looking at black voter turnout in places like Memphis, Tennessee. And we may not look, and it may just be one or two percentage points, but you know what? That's one or two percentage points more than we had before. And I keep thinking to myself, what if we took the fight, let's take the message directly to the people. What if we did that?

I'm telling you, folks, something big is going to happen on Election Day. And the Democrats know it. Kamala Harris knows it. Tampon Tim knows it. The media even knows it.

Even Saturday Night Live knows it. We have got some great audio coming from Saturday Night Live. They all know it. They know that Donald Trump is large and in charge, and he is ready to win and win big on Election Day. That means every single one of us has to get out there.

You've got to get your butt up, and you've got to go vote. Early voting about to kick in, folks, get out there and cast your vote early. Every single one of us have to do it. And if we can, folks, hear me on this. The American people, I think we're just, everybody has seen it.

They see Kamala Harris, and they see that there's nothing there. Nothing at all. Then they look at Donald Trump. Here's a man they tried to assassinate twice, and he's still out there holding the rallies. over the weekend, you had, I mean, tens of thousands of people showing up in California, Coachella.

Do you understand the significance of this? You understand the significance of Donald Trump out at Madison Square Garden? That is going to be a big thing. We're still debating whether or not we should send Ben Deter up there, being our man, our man in New York City. I'm telling you, there is something big happening in this country.

Don't believe the polling data. All right. You can't believe it. And I know it's starting to look really good for Donald Trump, and I'll share those polls. But hear me on this.

I think something much bigger than those polls is happening. And I really believe that states like New York and California, I think they could be in play. You say, Tom, what do you mean by that?

Well, we got our butts handed to us all every election cycle. I don't think that the losses are going to be that significant in those states. I think we are starting to close the gap and I think people are beginning to wake up and they're beginning to see what's really going on in this country.

So we got a lot we have a lot of ground to cover. We're going to be checking in with our good buddy Jeffrey Lord a little bit later on. How are you doing today? Thanks so much for talking about that event. We had such a great time. The energy was incredible. Thanks to you for showing up and helping us and waving to people and talking with citizens.

And I agree with you. I think that the support that we got from the black community that day was so incredibly inspiring. I mean, we had families coming out. They brought their children. We gave them bumper stickers and pins and signs.

And it was just really such a great event. And it was exactly the kind of outreach that we need in our very blue county.

So thanks for doing that. Oh, I was honored to be invited. And it was a lot of fun out there. I hope it had a decent job, you know, waving the sign. There's an art form to it.

And I, you know, I'm not the most artistic person, but I think I got the point across. You know, Kristen, what really impressed me, though, and this was the other component of this, the number of people who were really young that pulled in, people in their, you know, 30s, 40s, young people that are moving to the Memphis area. I was really impressed with their turnout over the weekend. I agree. In fact, we had one girl who stopped by who turns 18 the day before the election on November 4th, and she made sure that she registered to vote and was so excited to come by and talk with us, meet us, and get her sign and put it in her yard.

I think that's what we're seeing. We're seeing a kind of a groundswell from the young people who, you know, the Dems think they have that age demographic captured, but they don't. And the young people are starting to see that Trump is the way out of this mess that we are in. And they're going to go to the polls and they're going to cast their votes and we're going to get this done.

So I'm curious, why? Why are you spending your own money? You guys, there's an investment here. Why do that?

Well, I believe in this cause, Todd. I believe in the conservative movement. I believe that Donald Trump can get elected and can help fix what this disastrous administration has done to this country over the last three and a half years. It is a worthwhile investment of my time and my money, and it's really just a pittance when you think about it. You know, $20, $30 I spent on pins.

We had a few other folks that actually purchased the signs. But what better thing to spend your money on than trying to save our republic? I can't think of a more noble cause than that.

Now, are you guys going to be out doing this in the future? Was this just a one and done? This was actually the second event that we did. We did a similar event in Collierville that was so successful that Justin and the other Christian decided to replicate it in Germantown, which, you know, historically is a little more liberal. But I'm not quite sure if we're going to do a third one because we are getting close to early voting.

But if we can, if we can pull it off and get it organized in time, I would love to be part of it again. I just left there feeling so hopeful and so energized by, you know, the hundreds and hundreds of people that we saw beeping and waving and giving us thumbs up and giving us the fight, fight, fight fist.

So if we can make it happen again, I would love to be a part of it. All right. Well, Kristen, just let me know. Happy to be a part of that again. And thank you again for really getting out there and being vocal.

What's on your mind? Hey, Mr. Todd. Thank you for taking my phone call this afternoon. I'm an athlete, and I'm used to playing games for fourth quarters.

And the reason why I'm bringing that up is, you know, in my estimation, this is a four-quarter battle that we've got going on with the other campaign. And, you know, in the ebbs and flows of a game, there's going to be ups and downs, and they had the momentum in the third quarter. But we're getting down to the fourth quarter. We're getting down to crunch time, Mr. Todd.

And I believe we are taking back momentum as we speak, and this is when it matters. And it's when it matters the most. And I think, I don't know if you agree with me or not, but we have seized the momentum. I know you got some numbers from polls and things like that. But when we take, momentum is beautiful and it's powerful when it's working for you.

And we are going to take over in October and November and keep this momentum pushing and get Donald J. Trump elected as the next president. I truly believe it. I love that. And Dave, I'm with you.

And I think the big mo in the fourth quarter is huge. We just got to be careful. We don't want to be like Ole Miss.

And you got to love, you got to love J.D. Vance. And J.D. Vance has been very effective. And he has been a very, very powerful ally of Donald Trump.

So he was on one of the weekend shows. And now they're trying to rewrite the narrative. They're trying to tell us that there were no gangs in Aurora, Colorado. The whole thing has just been blown out of proportion. And I want you to hear how J.D.

Vance responded to that. Cut number four, please. I understand what you're saying, that some people left behind. But he's making these statements that the mayor is flat out disputing.

Well, Martha, you just said the mayor said they were exaggerated. Grossly exaggerated. That means there's got to be some element of truth here. And, of course, President Trump was actually in Aurora, Colorado, talking to people on the ground. And what we're hearing, of course, Martha, is that people are terrified by what has happened with some of these Venezuelan gangs.

Senator Vance, I'm going to stop you because I know exactly what happened. I'm going to stop you. The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes. apartment complexes and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns a handful of problems only martha do you hear yourself only a handful of apartment complexes in america were taken over by venezuelan gangs and donald trump is the problem and not kamala harris's open border americans are so fed up with what's going on and they have every right to be. And I really find this exchange, Martha, sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging that apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs.

I worry so much more about that problem than anything else here. We've got to get American communities in a safe space again. And unfortunately, when you let people in by the millions, most of whom are unvetted, most of whom you don't know who they really are, you're going to have problems like this. Kamala Harris, 94 executive orders that undid Donald Trump's successful border policies. We knew this stuff would happen.

They bragged about opening the border, and now we have the consequences, and we're living with it. We can do so much better, but frankly, we're not going to do better, Martha, unless Donald Trump calls this stuff out. I'm glad that he did.

Okay, let's just end that with they did not invade or take over the city, as Donald Trump said. I want to move on to women. Just a few apartment complexes, no big deal. A few apartment complexes that the mayor did not seem was invading the entire city. Do you see what he did there?

That is brilliant. And again, this is the argument.

Well, it wasn't that many apartment complexes. Are you kidding me? The actual management company that controls the apartment complexes, they came out, And they're saying, we have completely lost control. The gangs literally stepped in and were collecting rent from people because they claimed those apartment complexes as their own.

Now, it doesn't matter. But this is how the mainstream media reacts. And I'll give you an example.

Well, it was only just one person who was killed by the illegals. Lake and Riley, this is one person. It's not like they're going on. No, it doesn't matter if it's one person or 1,000 people. It doesn't matter.

The fact is that we have illegal aliens on American soil, and they are criminal elements. Very dangerous people, by the way. Very dangerous people. But the media wants to downplay all of this, and J.D. Vance would not let him get away.

He wouldn't let him get away with it. Good for you. Good for you, Senator Vance. also on the weekend. And I want you to hear Alejandro Mayorkas, your Department of Homeland Security secretary, talking about FEMA Cut 7.

Going around the word misinformation.

Well, we misinformed when we heard what we heard directly from her mouth. And the federal relief and assistance that we have been providing has included FEMA providing $750. And was we also misinformed when the director of FEMA, Marroquius, came out and said what he said? Or did he misspeak? We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have.

We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.

Now, since y'all want to say everything is so misinformation and misinformed, I just have a few questions. That's it. Is a critical needs payout of $750 only a one-time payout per household, not per person, and you would need to qualify which also indicates that you may be denied Just asking I have another question Did FEMA not designate funding of over billion for a legal migrant program called shelter in place in 2023 and 2024 Another question that I may be misinformed about. Did FEMA not designate funding of about $685 billion for illegal migrants in an emergency food and shelter program under this administration? I have another question, because we the people, we want to know.

We don't want to be misinformed. Did the House and Senate include Republicans not pass a continuing appropriation bill, H.R. 9747, which provides more funding, but the disaster fund is still deficient, according to Mayorkas, because of mismanagement and possibly overspending. You know, that's the bill that y'all are running around and saying that the Republicans shot down or didn't pass. H.R.

9747. Go find it on congress.gov. Wow. All right. Good for you, ma'am.

And because Mayorkas is out there and now saying, well, I never said that FEMA doesn't have enough funding. That's simply not true. You just heard it for yourself, ladies and gentlemen.

so again the revisionist history but it really doesn't matter kamala harris has lost control of the narrative here and she is in a in a tailspin as a matter of fact there was an interesting piece in axios over the weekend and multiple sources i think up to 12 12 sources telling axios that there is infighting right now within the Harris campaign and the White House. I am not surprised by this. There's been bad blood between those groups for a very long time now, and it has been very well documented that Kamala Harris and the Bidens have never gotten along, and especially Jill Biden, but that Kamala Harris, even within her own staff, they can't stand her. There have been so many documented reports of people leaving Kamala Harris's employment. It's insane, the numbers of people.

Now, according to Axios, the relationship between Kamala and Joe has become increasingly fraught. Biden's team wants Harris to win the election, but many senior aides remain wounded by the president being pushed out of his reelection bit. One close Harris ally said, and this is so ironic, quote, they are too much in their feelings, which is ironic seeing how they're in camp. Their entire campaign strategy has been based on a vibe. Oh, by the way, just speaking of vibes, did you see tampon Tim over the weekend?

They decided he's got a problem with his man credentials.

so they they dressed him up like elmer fudd and put a shotgun in his hands and told him to go shoot pheasant so a couple of things here first of all i believe they said one pheasant was shot not by the vp and they never produced a carcass not one but the other funny thing here is that Tim Waltz, the veteran hunter, was not able to load his gun. And quite frankly, they need to be counting their blessings because the way he was trying to do it, had he loaded the gun, he might have shot somebody in the face. I'm telling you, you can't make this up. The guy kind of looked like Elmer Fudd. But again, it goes back to this theory that I've had for a very long time.

When it comes to Donald Trump and the Democrats, Donald Trump is the roadrunner and the Democrats are Wile E. Coyote. And every time, every time, ladies and gentlemen, the Democrats think they've got Trump and they've got the goods on Trump. Guess what happens? A giant Acme anvil falls from the sky and flattens Tampon Tim.

Cut number eight. Let's fast forward to right now. His staff won't let him do a 60-minute interview. Every president for the last half century has done one, anyone who's running for president. Everyone has done it except Donald Trump.

He will not debate me again. I put out my medical records. He won't put out his medical records. And you have to ask, why is his staff doing that? And it may be because they think he's just not ready and unfit and unstable and should not have that level of transparency for the American people.

There's a real choice in this election.

So, look, I don't know if the woman's drunk, if she's doing drugs, or she really believes this crap spewing out of her mouth, but that woman's a liar. And what that woman said, this explains why that one soundbite explains why this woman is so dangerous, because she will say something like that, knowing that it's provably false. The reason why Trump doesn't sit down with 60 minutes is is very simple because they refuse to retract or apologize. The fake news they broadcast about this man. It is Kamala Harris.

She's the one that has been refusing to sit down for hard interviews. As a matter of fact, the owner of Time magazine out there saying that Kamala Harris needs to be more transparent. Donald Trump is out there doing interviews every single day and the American people see this.

Hey, glad to get through. When you were talking about a tailspin, it's the worst I've ever seen Barack Barry Obama. He was speaking to a group of young African-American men and explaining to them and asking them why any of them would want to vote for Trump because don't they get the fact that Kamala knows how they, the struggles that they're going through because she herself grew up just like them. And it was hilarious to watch these gentlemen look around at each other and wonder what in the heck he's talking about. Yeah, Jerry, and I appreciate that call.

We're coming up on the top of the hour and thank you for that. And Jerry, it's true. I mean, Kamala Harris talks about growing up middle class. No, she was upper middle class. And I think there's a pretty good argument that could be that she grew up in a pretty wealthy household based upon the employment of both of her parents, even though they were divorced.

So this idea that she grew up in the housing projects, and that's what she's trying to convince people of. And black voters are just not having it. I mean, the irony here is you have Barack Obama, who owns four mansions, one of them worth $30 million, lecturing these young black men? Come on, please. All right, we got to scoot out of here.

I love this American. Hello, Trump-chella! I stand before you today as a former, lifelong Democrat. Previously, I served as the Senate Majority Leader of the California State Senate. But like Leo Terrell, Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., I no longer recognize today's wacko, authoritarian, woke Democratic Party.

So I walked away. And I know there are closet Democrats out there, too. Come on over to the sunny side of politics. All right. That was Gloria Romero, a former state senator, Democrat state senator in California, speaking at this insane Trump rally in Coachella.

What an incredible event. And the response from Californians is just remarkable. I want to go right now to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line and say hello to Gloria Romero. And Gloria, what an honor to have you with us today.

Well, thank you. It's great to speak with you.

So I'm curious, first of all, what was that experience like for you, speaking before all of those thousands of people over the weekend?

Well, I'll tell you, truly, it was remarkable. This is not just a campaign. It's a movement. There were so many people as well who later told me they couldn't even get into the event because it was overfilled already in the parking lot, et cetera. But truly, it was a day of, dare I say, joy in the nation.

Gloria, so I just want to understand your story here. You've been a lifelong Democrat, is that right? Correct. What was it that, when did you start sensing that things were changing within your party?

Well, it's been a long time coming. But while I was serving in the legislature, I was a Democrat who actually supported and continues to support school choice, opportunity scholarships, vouchers, because I've seen and I oversaw the education committee firsthand that our schools are just chronically underperforming, especially for low income and African-American and Latino youth.

So I really started there. But to be a Democrat in California and to challenge the hegemony of teachers union in California schools, it basically was political suicide.

So they went after me way back then. They started calling me a right wing, you know, ideologue. And I would report saying, hey, it's not right wing to support school choice. It is morally right to support school choice.

So it started a long time. In the most recent era, I think that it was when I saw the shabby withdrawal from Afghanistan, that was just really, I think, put me over the edge. Gloria, I'm curious here on the state level, and you guys are controlled by a super majority of Democrats, and some of the policies coming out, again, protecting illegals, the radical transgender situation there. I'm wondering, did those factor into your decision to pull out as well? absolutely i mean i look at it and i as a latina especially i began to see that this is just a party that's run amok it is catered to the far left side of the party and like tulsi gabbard and leo terrell and rfk jr i'm one of those democrats who says hey you know i didn't really leave the party the party left me i don't recognize what it is you know as latinos and many in california You know, we would favor fair pathways to immigration, but this border czar has made a complete mockery of citizenship itself.

She has flung open a border basically to replace, you know, who is voting in America right now. And it's a mockery. And, you know, I support sensible pathways, but a respect for our border. The school curriculum has gone completely woke to the point where we even see legislation that the governor has enacted to basically deny parents any say-so in the raising of their own children and handing it over to schools controlled by the teachers union. It's absolutely, you know, I felt like Alice down the rabbit hole for a long time.

Gloria Romero is on our Patriot Mobile newsmaker line today, and she was one of the speakers at President Trump's rally over the weekend, leaving a longtime Democrat, leaving her party. And, Gloria, I'm curious, what is it going to take to get Californians to wake up and understand what the Democrats are doing to the state? I think Californians are waking up now. We've got to overcome the built-in cheating on the voter rolls, you know, where dead people are on the rolls. We have to also use the rules that are there, whether we like them or not, like early voting and ballot harvesting.

That's the law. Let's play by the same rules if we want to basically compete. I think it also is running good, strong candidates, and I will give special credit. I'm the daughter. I'm not from the middle class with a nice lawn.

I am a daughter from the working class, and I give a lot of credit to the blue-collar billionaire Donald Trump for basically remaking the Republican Party, to make it a big tent that has welcomed and put America first, which especially has spoken to the working class of America and working people.

So I think it's really been his transformation. I think it's also going to be in California specifically to understand, like other states, we are a border state. Crime has rocketed. There's a lot of lawlessness. We need to get our communities back under control and crazy sanctuary city policies.

and ultimately, as I said at the rally, California, it's not a blue state and it's not a red state. It's a golden state. And together, I believe that Californians will join patriots across the country to restore law and order and bring Donald Trump back to the White House for all of us. I'm very optimistic. I think it can be done.

I'm intrigued by your approach here and the wording because for California to change it's not going to be just a simple election cycle that the democrats are going to be thrown out this is going to it's going to take some time and you know you go back and i was i covered the state capitol i was working in sacramento at the time and i covered the state capitol during the schwarzenegger years and and really it's almost at that time it was a coalition style government um it wasn't conservative it certainly disappointed conservatives but it certainly wasn't far left and and i'm wondering if that's the direction maybe that's the approach we get to restoring some common sense back in california i believe so and you know last year i joined with steve hilton who actually started the non-partisan bipartisan uh golden together to basically bring together californians and really of any political stride to begin to honestly deal with challenges facing California and coming up with some sensible policies and programs and moving us forward.

So I believe that we are making major headway. You take a look at the polling, it dramatically has changed. Voter registration in California, there's been a surge in Republican identification and then combined with independents and many Democrats who, like me in the past were reluctant to walk away because honestly it took me a while to finally say i cannot be a democrat anymore for a party that doesn't represent my values any longer so i think there is a way to build this it's not going to happen overnight but gradually and i think expeditiously we are getting to a point where california will make sense once again well i i I just think this is terrific news, Gloria, and it had to have been exciting to be there at the rally. What are you hearing from other Hispanics there in the Golden State?

Well, it's interesting because overall Trump is soaring amongst Latinos. Many of us are saying, hey, we are on the Tren de Trump, not the Tren de Aragua, and we are coming over. You know, Latinos want an American agenda. We're not looking for something separate. We want to get a good economy, an end to inflation.

We want to have good, strong schools, which we don't have in California. We want law and order. We're a very patriotic community. Our sons and daughters are amongst the first to go to war and then to come back in a body bag, as we've seen, whether it's World War II or in Vietnam.

So we are a very patriotic community, and we want what's good for America. We are proud to be Americans, and that's why I think, too, many of us do not want to see this open border because we value this country. We know it's a prize to claim American citizenship, and we just want people to do it the right way.

Well done. All right. Well, Gloria, I know you're a former state senator. any opportunities maybe looking to get back into politics as a Republican?

Well, right now, I'm interested in just making sure we send Donald J. Trump back to the White House to lead our country. And I am so excited about this opportunity and to have been able to speak at that amazing Trump-Challa rally on Saturday in over a hundred degree peak. It was amazing. That was pretty spectacular.

All right, Gloria, we got to leave it there. We'd love to get you back on sometime. California has always intrigued me, and I really do believe that we're going to be able to turn the tide there. It's going to take a little bit of time, but I think with some hard work, we're going to be able to do it. Absolutely.

So there has been a lot of controversy over a volleyball player, a dude, who is on the San Jose State University volleyball team. This is the Mountain West Division. And at least four schools, four universities, have announced they plan to forfeit matches. They don't want their female players competing against a dude. That would be Southern Utah, Boise State, University of Wyoming, and Utah State.

Now, we have a fifth team, and this is interesting. It looks like there is a rebellion now between the girls' volleyball team and the University of Nevada, Reno.

So the girls, this is from Outkick, the girls on the team voted to forfeit an upcoming game against San Jose State University. And this is a pretty big deal.

Now, the athletic department said the team would play the scheduled match, but the school did not consult with the players before making the statement. The statement to Outkick says, the University of Nevada volleyball team remains focused on its upcoming matches and they will continue to abide by the NCAA rules and regulations as well as the laws and constitutions of the state of Nevada.

Okay, it's a volleyball match. Come on. The team wrote a statement that they delivered to OutKick. We, the University of Nevada-Reno women's volleyball team, forfeit against San Jose State University and stand in solidarity with the volleyball teams of southern Utah, Boise State, the University of Wyoming, and Utah State University. We demand that our right to safety and fair competition on the court be upheld.

We refuse to participate in any match that advances injustices against female athletes. This is huge. And do you see what's happening here? And we had Riley Gaines on the show just a few days ago, and she was so proud of these young ladies for having the courage to take a stand now here's what needs to happen and and hear me on this we've got to stand alongside these girls you say how do we do that well if you are a donor to any one of these schools you call the advancement office you call the development office the alumni association and simply announce that you are pulling all of your funding all of your donations to the university until they do the right thing here.

Now, I've got a problem with the fact that these girls are having to forfeit matches. It's not their fault. And yet they are being punished. I have a problem with that. But I'm glad these young ladies are taking a stand.

But where are the grownups in the room? Where are the university president standing up and saying, we don't want to put our girls in harm's way here? I am telling you folks something is going a movement is happening in this country one of the captains of the team told Outkick that players were frustrated when they found out the school had committed to playing the match without even talking to them first so if the University of Nevada Reno had its way they never would have even told the girls hey there's a dude on the other team and he is so strong he could slam a volleyball and break every bone in your face. And by the way, that's happened before. The girls said we were pretty upset that we were not made aware that a statement was going to come out.

So the girls were kept in the dark about all of this. And so now the good news here is that the team has stepped up and said, you know what? We're not playing this. We're not doing this. We're not going to play this game anymore.

And I say, good for you, the ladies of the University of Nevada at Reno. And the question is, how many other schools are willing to do that? How many other female athletes are willing to have the courage to stand up and say, you know what, we're not going to swim. We're not going to play basketball. We're not going to compete against men.

That's it. And trust me on this, folks, If enough girls in college athletics decide to stand up and do the right thing, they're not going to have a choice. They're going to have to change the rules. They're going to have to.

So my question to you, as moms or dads, would you actually allow your daughter to compete against a young man? So, yeah, very worried about where that's headed. And also, you know, this idea of increased government oversight into your personal savings, too, which ought to be nobody's business. Not theirs. Yeah, our savings as private as we can keep it. It feels like where we're headed.

The government has less good feelings and intentions with our personal freedoms.

So the more sovereign you can be over your wealth, it's yours. You've made it, and you get to decide how it is that it's spent and your access to it. That's really where physical gold comes into play, right? You're right. And, again, you're talking about looking into the future with these ticking time bombs.

I mean, we've got tax increases, inflation, the national debt's what, over $35 trillion. And so if you're the average American, what do you tell folks when they come to Priority Gold? I mean, that's just a recipe for much higher prices silver as we carry forward.

And you get it physically. It's still a really good protection of wealth, but it also has this growth potential that we believe is going to see higher upside than gold in the next few years. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. And I am telling you right now, folks, the numbers just look great for Trump. There is a momentum, and I know there are a lot of people out there singing gloom and doom. But hear me on this. If we just get our butts out there and we get out and vote on Election Day, we're going to win this thing.

We're going to win it hands down.

So look, I want to talk about something that's happening to a church out in Texas. And I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this. There is one of the large megachurches out there, and they are coming under fire because of something the pastor talked about in church.

Now, here's the deal. This church, the pastor, his name is Josh Howerton. and he is the pastor of one of these mega churches over 20 000 members and they got it's called lake point church in rockwall texas and the pastor has a massive instagram following almost what almost 350 000 people follow this guy on instagram so anyway the pastor got up and he was talking about the election and i'm pretty darn impressed over this so you've got the pastor of this church and he's telling the church members how to vote like Jesus. That was the name of the sermon, how to vote like Jesus. And the Freedom From Religion Foundation is enraged over this.

Not once did the pastor say you've got to vote for Donald Trump. He never said that. What he did was he took the policies of the Democrats and he took the policies of the Republicans and he said, which of these platforms most closely aligns to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Now, I want to be very clear here. I am a gun-toting, Bible-clinging son of a Baptist. That's my heritage. I am very conservative, and I have been through royal ambassadors, Awana, memorized more Bible scripture than anybody I know. And I'm just going to just flat-out say this.

right now the Democrat Party is the party of Satan. When you look at their policies, anybody who wants to kill an unborn baby, anybody that wants to kill a baby on its birth date, those people are demonic. They are possessed. Let me say something about Donald Trump. I don't know if the man is a Christian or not.

I don't know. I know he doesn't go to church all the time. I know he doesn't go out for a Sunday night church visitation. I know that he probably doesn't go to Wednesday night church supper down at the First Baptist Church of Mar-a-Lago. I get it.

But I'm not electing a preacher. I'm just not. And neither are you, by the way. I'm not even electing a deacon. I'm not electing a Sunday school teacher.

I'm electing a president of the United States. I'm looking for a leader. and I'm looking for somebody that's going to defend people of faith like myself. Kamala Harris, she wants to close down your church. No doubt about it.

So I don't have a problem with the way Trump is running his campaign. That's between him and God. But all I can tell you is this. There are a bunch of Christians out there, and they are modern-day Pharisees.

well he's just he's not a good christian man he says terrible things about people on twitter well ma'am it's called x now x and you know what yeah that's trump that's who and by the way that's and you don't think that george w bush talked like that in private you don't think he did i guarantee you he did as a matter of fact george bush is on record as saying a lot of very inappropriate things so is bill clinton look what he did in the oval office turning our beloved oval office into an oral office if you know what i mean so if you're looking at presidents and again there are people out there and christianity today which is a far left radical progressive magazine uh those people i don't even do i know that they're christian no i do not but i can tell you this. They're out there promoting Kamala Harris, and that is evil. Maybe they're possessed, too. I don't know. Lord knows all their subscribers ran away.

So now you've got the Freedom for Religion Foundation, and they're out there attacking this pastor, Josh Howerton, and they're saying that he violated the Internal Revenue Service rules and regulations about endorsing candidates, but he never called out Trump's name. He just pointed out, hey, these are the people that are more closely aligned to Jesus, and these are the people that are closely aligned to these demons in the pit of hell. That would be Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, by the way. As a matter of fact, according to the reporting of Freedom from Religion Foundation, the pastor said he wasn't endorsing a candidate, but that he wanted to point out that he opposed the unrighteous Harris Waltz ticket. And it's not unrighteous.

It's demonic. I mean, these people are... It pains me to say this, but these people are followers of Satan. They are. Demons.

They are. It's true.

So anyway, they're demanding that the church lose its tax-exempt status. That's what they're doing.

Meanwhile, you have Kamala Harris, who is invited to preach at a church over the weekend in North Carolina. And the Freedom From Religion Foundation is okay with that. They're fine with that. And you know why? Because she, Kamala Harris, you know what she is?

I'm going to tell you what Kamala Harris is. The princess of darkness. She is. I'm just telling you. She's up there preaching at a church.

It's called the Koinonia Christian Center. We did a little bit of research into these people. This is one of those churches where the bishopette and the bishop, they have bishops. but anyway the bishop of this church lives in a multi the church owns multi-million dollar mansions that tells you all you need to know about this is one of these mega churches out there and harris is out there literally desecrating the pulpit i am honest to goodness i am just shocked a bolt of lightning did not just come down out of the sky during that sermon and there she is holding up her hand and you wonder if somebody was telling her in her little earpiece um whether okay now now you have to close your eyes now you have to raise your hand now you have to dance around and do the hokey pokey no i i'm telling you it was embarrassing what was happening in that church is an abomination this woman doesn't love jesus this woman spits on jesus by the way her boss demented joe the the devout catholic he's just as bad as she is now you can say what you want to about donald trump he's just not a very nice man he hurts my feelings well you need to get over it but Todd we want a good preacher and the White House no you know you don't you got that with Jimmy Carter and you see how that ended up we almost lost the whole country nobody could get gas for four years and the Iranians took our hostages as a matter of fact when you look back on the history of of presidents my denomination has not done very well. I would say don't elect anybody who's a Southern Baptist president because they screwed it up.

Look at Bill Clinton. I didn't have sex with that. No, yes, you did, sir. And it was naughty. Naughty sex, sir, in the oral office.

And then we had Jimmy Carter. Jeez-a-loo. By the way, an aside, did you see where they rolled out poor Jimmy Carter for his 100th birthday? and the poor guy, I mean, he's like, you know, 100, and they pull him out for this big celebration. The whole family's gathered around, and they bring out all the cameras, and the poor guy is, he looks like he's already, you know, gone off to glory, laying there with the mouth gaping wide.

All right. A little bit of Saturday Night Live action there. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker Line. Say hello to our good friend Jeffrey Lord. Jeffrey, when you've lost SNL, you've lost the election.

Man, isn't that the truth? You know, one of the fascinating things about politics in America is, and I think it's Andrew Breitbart who said this, that politics is downstream from culture. And I think Andrew was right. And, you know, you look at SNL, and that can give you a tip-off as to what's really going on in this country politically. And I think it is just scored again on that count.

You know, it's interesting, you know, looking at the polling data, which I try not to do a lot of, but, you know, we talk about vibe. The polls are going in Trump's direction now. We're starting to see the movement, and we're also starting to see the vibe. And Trump has this sense of victory surrounding him. It's sort of oozing at all of these rallies.

That is so true. And, you know, I have been to my fair share of these rallies, and they are amazing things to behold. I mean, I've been around the block, and I have never seen anything like this. I mean, you get tens and tens of thousands of people, thousands who can't get in. And they're still waiting out there, and they'll watch it on a big screen that's placed outside.

It is an amazing sight to behold. And my point is, you know, there's a message there with that. These are average American people who are trying to send a message to the political establishment elite, elite, however you want to put it, that they're fed up with all of this kind of nonsense. And, you know, the business of people streaming over the border and all of this kind of nonsense, you know, killing people. And I mean, this is just this is a bridge that is way, way too far.

People have had enough. They get it. Not to mention that they get the whole deal when they go to the grocery store to buy a dozen eggs and they've got to cope with the inflation or they go to the gas station to try and fill up the tank, the message is received.

So this is the message that is coming back. And I think when we get to the election, you know, we will see. And one other thing, Todd, I went to an event, to two back-to-back events. One was the Family First Institute, I think it was, here in Pennsylvania, and the other was a pro-life group. there were this was over in Hershey nearby Hershey at the Hershey Lodge there were well over a thousand people a thousand people at each of those events wow wow what does that tell you about what's going on here so to tonight uh Trump is going to be holding a town hall in Philadelphia Kamala Harris is going to be at a campaign event in Erie and I get it it's a battleground state but But I think even Senator Fetterman was out there a few days ago saying Trump is winning the Commonwealth right now.

Yeah, I think Senator Fetterman is right. And I have spent my fair share of time driving. I live here in the middle of Pennsylvania. And I've spent my fair share of time driving around the state to go to, you know, this, that or the other event, whether it's out in western Pennsylvania or in central Pennsylvania or what have you. And one of the things that you can't help but notice, there are Trump signs everywhere.

And I do mean everywhere. On people's lawns, there's the occasional billboard. It's an amazing sight to see. Parasites, yeah, there are some. But nowhere close.

Nowhere close to the number of Trump signs that are out there. And I just find that an interesting tell on what may be coming. I'm with you, and I'm one of the few conservative talk hosts that is optimistic. I've been just so optimistic through this entire thing, and I really do think, Jeffrey, that if the voters get out and do their job, then Trump could very well come away with, dare I say, a landslide victory. Do you know Dick Morris, our friend from Newsmax, who is a longtime political savant and pollster and all of that sort of thing, he has said he thinks that Trump is getting ready to be the winner in a Reagan-style landslide.

landslide. And, you know, when it comes to Reagan, you know, as you know, I work for him. And one of the things I always find fascinating in 1980, state Republican parties were having trouble getting their A-list candidates to run for the United States Senate because they thought, oh, it's not going to be a good year. I don't want to ruin my career. I'll save it for later in my career.

So they got the so-called B and C-list candidates to run.

Well, the day after the election, those B and C list candidates woke up as United States senators elect because they'd been swept into office by the Reagan landslide. And wow, if in fact that happens, that can have a real serious impact on the Republican Party in terms of the House, the Senate, state legislators, governors, that kind of thing.

So keep an eye out. Look, Trump, the internals, and that's the stuff we don't get to see. But you can sort of get an idea, I think, Jeffrey, and correct me if I'm wrong here, just based on movements and where the campaign's putting their resources as to how the internals are doing. What does it say? How should we read this story that Trump is going to Madison Square Garden and he's going to be doing a rally at Madison Square Garden in the heart of New York City?

Yeah, well, you know, of course, he's a New Yorker, but I find his strategy is interesting. He is deliberately going into, quote-unquote, blue states, California, New Jersey, Madison Square Garden in New York. He had an event, as we know, a few weeks back in the Bronx. And he just is just mobbed at these appearances. And, you know, it's not that I think necessarily that he will carry some of these states, but I do think if people turn out like that, for instance, his trip to California, he knows he's probably not going to carry California, but his appearance there can help Republican candidates for the House.

And that in turn can be a very big deal, assuming he wins his second term and needs help in the House and Senate. I mean, it's really about the messaging here. And we had told our listeners early on, what really makes this race unique is that there's not just one specific issue driving voters to the polls. I mean, we're looking at multiple things, at least the big trinity, which would be crime, immigration, and the economy. Those are big issues, and Kamala Harris can't run away from those.

I mean, she's part of this administration right now.

Well, that's absolutely right. And, you know, it's a terrible thing to say, but when, you know, somebody gets murdered by one of these illegals that is a very big deal That really hits home with a lot of Americans that they or their families are not safe This exchange, I just find this amazing. This exchange that J.D. Vance had with Martha Raddatz from ABC, I guess, And she's downplaying, you know, he's talking about the gangs coming in, the illegal immigrant gangs that are coming into apartment complexes in Colorado, in Aurora, Colorado. And she tries to downplay the whole thing, to which his response was, in essence, are you kidding me?

Are you listening to yourself? I mean, the notion that it's just okay for some gang of illegals to saunter into an apartment complex and take it over, and we've all seen the video brandishing all kinds of weapons and all this kind of thing, and that's not a bigger problem as you think. Hello? Hello? I mean, the notion that they can even think that tells you a lot about their mindset, and it's not good.

All right, let's look at the polling data here. We mentioned earlier ABC News, Harris up by two over Trump, but she is down three points from the last poll. NBC News, the candidates are tied. The last poll, Harris had been up by five. CBS News, Harris up three, down one point from the last poll.

What do you read there, Jeffrey? First of all, I don't put much stock in national polls for the obvious reason that we don't vote nationally. We vote, we elected president state by state by state.

So I pay more attention to polls for Pennsylvania or New Jersey or Alabama or what have you and what that tells you. And the polls that I'm seeing here in Pennsylvania, they go back and forth. Trump is up by a couple or she's up by a couple. and what I think is very clear here is we've got a lot of Trump supporters and they are going to be out and about on election day without question.

So that, to me, is more relevant and more important than national polls. You know, neither you nor I were walking around on planet Earth back in 1948, but I always, as a political historian, I always loved the tale that the Republican nominee, Governor of New York, Thomas E. Dewey, who had run four years earlier against FDR, was now running against the much less popular Harry Truman, who was in the White House. And the poll showed a sweep for Dewey and that he was the sure thing, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. They were so certain of themselves, they stopped polling in September.

They get to election night and upset big time. And there's a famous picture that I got years ago when I visited the Truman Library in Independence of Harry Truman holding up a copy of, I forget what it was, the New York Herald or one of the New York papers. The Chicago Tribune. That's it. And the headline is, Do We Defeat Truman?

Oops. Brilliant.

So you've got to watch this stuff very carefully and know how to read it. I think we have a lot of activity going on here, but there's more going on than meets the eye in these different states. Georgia, for instance, you know. Exactly. And, again, I think the southern states are going to be solid for Trump this go-around.

And what's happening in the Carolinas right now, I think that's going to work out to Trump's advantage as well. Jeffrey, we've got to run. We are super late for a break. We're going to get you back on. It's nonstop between now and Election Day, and this is going to be a fun one.

By the way, Bill Clinton, and we are efforting this audio, Bill Clinton out on the campaign trail for Kamala and says, Lakin Riley's death probably would not have happened if the border had been secured.

That's 901-260-5926. Unbelievable. All right, let's talk about this crazy story out of Vermont where you have a school, and the allegation is that the school has banned the Pledge of Allegiance. This is called Shaftesbury Elementary School. And the parents here are very upset and they're saying that the Pledge of Allegiance has been banned and they want the Pledge of Allegiance reinstated in their public school.

Now, the superintendent of the school is speaking out and is saying, well, we actually let the individual schools decide whether or not they want to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. The superintendent, his name is James Culkin, telling the Vermont Digger, a newspaper there, that the principals are empowered to decide if the Pledge of Allegiance would be recited.

Now, the superintendent went on to say this, that the Pledge of Allegiance disrupts the community and excludes children who just want to be a part of their classrooms. What does that mean? What exactly is offensive about the Pledge of Allegiance? What exactly is disruptive about the Pledge of Allegiance?

Well, the newspaper reached out to the school for clarification, and they are still waiting for a response.

So anyway, last week on Thursday, a group of parents, they showed up at the school before class with their children, and they decided to recite the Pledge of Allegiance outside around the flagpole. And that's when the police summoned authorities. As many as a half a dozen police officers showed up at the school. And now people are saying, well, what was that all about?

So the sheriff of the town says, we just went there to make sure there were not any disruptions or outbursts. Really, is that it, sheriff? Or is it possible you were told to go there to bully the parents?

Now, this is pretty insane that you could have a school district that has banned the Pledge of Allegiance.

Now, there's always something else to this, and it turns out that there are critics who say the problem is really not the pledge. The problem is the phrase, under God. As a matter of fact, they quoted one parent who said, if under God was removed, well, that would be a reasonable compromise, and they would be willing to allow the pledge to be recited if the words under God were removed. And it just seems to me that if, in fact, under God was, in fact, removed, then I'm not sure that's a country worth pledging allegiance to, ladies and gentlemen. What say you?

Hi, Orlando, what's on your mind? hey Todd uh uh good afternoon I just want to hit on a couple points because I know you're short of time uh one um I had a suggestion about those in North Carolina um has anybody thought about sending tiny homes up there into those mountains for them to live in until you know better accommodations can come along to uh Donald Trump when he uh when he does his um his next event I'd like to hear him talk more on mental health because neither one of the candidates have even talked about that mental health it weighs on men and women and i think that would hit home with women um which in the polls are saying that he's feeling a lot within you know just the women alone uh but i i just wanted to make points on that and um at the same time he needs to not shake miss harris's hand no more yes uh the woman never touched her face after the last debate so something's wrong with that picture well let me say this orlando um she came out and said that she's in good physical condition.

I'm more concerned about her mental state.

Some of the stuff that she's been spewing, I got big problems with that. Absolutely. And that's exactly what I meant when Trump needs to talk about mental health, because I think it doesn't just weigh on her. I think it weighs on a lot of people that's there, you know, up in the White House, and not just there, you know, just around the United States alone.

Now, I want to get your take on this because Kamala Harris was on Roland Martin, his show. She's doing a lot of black TV over the next couple of days. And she says that Donald Trump is anti-black. Are you seeing that? Do you see Donald Trump as being anti-black?

I am not. And at the same time, I heard you mention last week about how many commercials have been shown. But here in the state of Georgia, it seems like in the purple states and the blue states, it's showing more of her stuff and less of Donald Trump.

So but this is what I see. As soon as Kamala Harris came out with white men for Kamala Harris, she lost a lot of black people when she did that.

So it's not no anti anything. I'm looking at you and me and our families, our children and our grandkids. we need Donald Trump back in that White House and me being a black man I want to not see bombs dropping around us because everyone that gets on your show they start talking all of the negative to you like they've got issues going on but at the same time if they think about it they close their eyes and they sit back and just visualize bombs falling on the United States and missiles being shot across the United States. You're going to think twice about voting Democrats because this woman doesn't care. I see her giggling and tackling when she tries to push that red button for, you know, disaster hitting the United States.

She'll be laughing about the whole situation. I think you're, look, there's something to that, Orlando, and I appreciate you calling in. Great thoughts. And, you know, I would be curious, ladies and gentlemen, and especially among our black men of the audience here, does Obama really matter anymore? I have never seen such an irrelevant person to me within the black community as Barack Obama.

And you would think that Obama, based on his position as a two-term former U.S. president, the first black man elected president, that he would be out there in the schools encouraging education, encouraging kids in inner city schools to stick with it and get an education. But he's not doing that. The man has four mansions. He's got his own TV deals.

He's hanging out with the rich and famous. He would rather hang out with the rich liberals than the black community at large. Just want to throw that out there. And I think that's one of the reasons why black men especially were put off by what Obama had to say. Let's play cut number one, please.

What you thought you was doing, Barack Obama? Boy, you just stepped out there. All you did was piss black men off, bro. All you did was piss black men off. Why do y'all think the American people, why do y'all think the Democrat Party own black folk?

The Democrat Party don't own black folks, bro. What you thought you was doing with that? We see the play. We know we see the play. Kamala Harris is losing.

She's not going to win.

So you just stepped on out. Yeah, you know, black people, if you're voting for Donald Trump and not Kamala Harris, this is unacceptable. Man, look, check this out. This is what I got to say to you. One, two, Trump is coming for you.

Three, four, you won't win no more. Five, six, the election was fixed. 7, 8, y'all made a mistake. 9, 10, Trump is coming again. 9, 10, Trump is coming again.

I'll tell you what, I missed the Clinton era. I missed him, and he's right. of course properly vetted immigrants what we need exactly you know with with friends like that campaign and for kamala wow uh that's not good there seems to be some fragmenting going out on the trail these days as the panic starts to set in and this seems to be the party of panic and uh they're they're you know covid they love panic and uh now with the hurricanes they love panic and i i again as a representative of the wellness company i can't help but point out that if you You know, if you're in a line of fire of a hurricane or earthquakes, you want to have our kits available because you can't trust the government anymore. You've got to take care of yourself. That was the whole naive idea we had starting this company.

It's true.

No, it is. And again, I don't think it's wrong for us all to take care of each other, our family, our neighborhoods, our community. It's sort of rather than, oh, where is the federal government when everything bad happens to us? Not only should we not be thinking about that, we shouldn't be sort of oriented that way. We can no longer rely on them.

Isn't there enough evidence to suggest that that is not something we should be relying on? And should something unforeseen happen, like a virus that doesn't infect humans, suddenly break into the human population, assume that they've been monkeying with that virus. And again, be prepared. Don't let them panic you. Don't let them ruin your lives the way they have.

And I just, you know, it's just I haven't gotten over what they did during COVID. And I guess that's why I'm so focused on this. But I will tell you that when it comes to North Carolina, if you saw it today, that there was a headline that said that FEMA has stopped operation in certain areas because of a, quote, armed militia.

So literally, they're allowing their delusional paranoia. I don't know what that is, but FEMA should stop helping people in need because there's a rumor out there of somebody with a weapon. I mean, the weapons are not drawn and directed towards them. It's their paranoid delusions that are causing them to harm other people because they're stopping the work and delivery to the people in need. And the reality here is that there is a lot of violence, a lot of looting going on, and people are protecting themselves.

So I suspect we're not getting the full story there. And there's so much misinformation. But again, you know, Dr. McCullough was on the show just a couple of days ago, and he pointed out that we just cannot trust the government to keep us safe, even in a disaster, which is why people need to get these emergency wellness kits to be prepared. He's exactly right.

And he and the rest of the medical board and I speak about this all the time, which is, you know, Dr. Kelly Victory is part of our board, said something to me about six months ago that really stays with me. And she said, you know, if we were thinking about this five years ago, I would have thought, ah, a little excessive. Maybe it's not. Maybe it's a little crazy.

Now she said, you're crazy if you don't do this, if you don't prepare like this. And I invented the term on your show, I think, rational readiness. I think we need to be rationally ready. This rational certitude that people have is absolutely a cognitive dissonance. dissonance, you should have irrational, excuse me, you should have rational uncertainty, and you should be prepared.

That's it. Dr. Drew Penske is the chief patient officer for the wellness company. And, you know, Dr. Drew, we've been encouraging people to look at what happened in North Carolina.

And again, those people in the Carolinas, they never imagined that their entire communities would literally be wiped off the face of the earth, which they have been. The topography has changed.

So you just never know in a place like Memphis, Tennessee, for example, sitting on a fault line, you just never know when disaster might strike and you got to be ready. Yeah. And look here in Southern California, where I'm speaking to you from, we are constantly reminded about earthquakes. And I think we've been lulled into a little bit of sort of apathy because we've done such a good job reinforcing all of our buildings. And we sort of understand how earthquakes experts and how to stay safe.

But what we haven't prepared for here is what happens when the supply line gets cut off, what happens when the water gets cut off, what happens when the power gets cut off, which is going to happen. It's part of life. Daddy, grandpa federal government is not going to save us from these realities of human life and mother nature. It's just about us all coming to terms with that and preparing for it. That's all.

I've got about 30 seconds here. October, flu season, what are some things people need to do to stay healthy? The same things you always do. You wash your hands regularly. Be careful around people who are sick.

If you are sick, stay home and don't expose other people. Exercise, resistance training, nutrition, sleep well. Avoid hungry, angry, lonely, tired. And then pay attention to supplements. We live in a time when supplements have become important, particularly vitamin D, vitamin C, minerals.
