Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. That's us, that's right I love this American ride Well, hello everyone, how are you?
I'm Mary Walter, sitting in for Todd Starnes in the Liberty University Studios. I am so happy to be here with you. Let me tell you, Grace and the gang have done exemplary work for this show. Listen to this. coming up in half an hour, not even half an hour.
Tony Schaefer will be joining us to talk about what's happening in the Middle East and what it means for us here, and should you make sure that your liberal friends and their kids are registered for the draft.
Next hour is Cheryl Chumley for The Washington Times. She's also host of the Bold and Blunt podcast. And a whole bunch of things we're going to talk about with her, including what happens when all the little valedictorians go back to college and they start up with their encampments again and keeping Jewish students from class, etc. Because they've had all summer to rest up and practice.
So what's that going to be like? And whether that hurts the Democrats, I don't know if it does. I don't know if at this point anything hurts them. It's amazing what their base will put up with. And we'll talk about that coming up.
And then last hour, Jeffrey Lord, one of my faves, will be joining us as well. We're going to get his thoughts on the presidential race. and Tim Walsh, Conal Harris' pick for VP and some of his stances, which we're going to get into on the show.
Now, if you would like to join me, you may do so. You know, and I love it when you call. It's 901-260-5926, 901-260, KWAM. Or you can reach out to me on X at Mary Walter Radio and I will try to multitask and get to your comments as we go through the show. Can't always do it, though, because sometimes, you know, I do have to pay attention.
And it gets a little hard sometimes.
So there's that. Also, my podcast, you missed the live one last night. Lieutenant Colonel Allen West was on with me. He joined me to talk about international affairs, about the Middle East, about the policies of what we can expect under Harris. If Harris waltz get in, what we can possibly expect there.
and then he left us and so many great comments and questions from the viewers talking about Waltz being the VP name on the ticket with Kamala Harris and what people thought about that.
So it was a lot of fun.
So you can find it on YouTube. If you go to YouTube, look for Mary Walter Radio. I haven't edited it yet, but I will. And also on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. I have yet to put it up, but it'll be up today.
Again, just look for Mary Walter Radio. No S. There's only one of me. I know. Scary.
There's only one of me. It's very sad.
So can we just talk about general news to start out? Because we're really, really, really, really going to dive into Tim Walton and a lot of things that he had to say and what he stands for. Because he's relatively a quote-unquote unknown. You know, unless you live in Minnesota, do you really know who he is?
So, which I think was done on purpose. you know ever i think most presidents at least the democrat ones pick someone who's not going to upstage them you know for their vp that's their that's their insurance policy about from getting impeached so they pick someone who's kind of like oh well you know obama did it with joe because you know obama's like go ahead impeach me look what look what's waiting in the wings and people like oh god he's eating ice cream and bumping into walls so that was obama's insurance policy and then obama did it with kamala and he's like look at her you think i'm bad look at that So she's done that with Waltz, but I don't know if it works for her with that, but we'll talk about that.
So let's just do some general news, shall we?
Okay.
So Hurricane Debbie, you know, hit Florida and it's working its way up and it's going to go all the way up into the Adirondacks up in New York when I'm there.
So that'll be fun because they're expecting flash flooding.
So yay for Mary on vacation. But it could be worse. It could be home, I guess. But so you know what happened? 88 pounds of cocaine washed up on Florida beaches.
88 pounds of cocaine washed up on Florida beaches. And I love that the Citizen Free Press put that out on X. And I love that someone posted a picture of Forrest Gump running and said, Hunter be like, on my way. because what happens is the smugglers, if they either break down at sea and they know the Coast Guard's got to come get them, they dump the cocaine overboard or if the Coast Guard's chasing whatever, they dump the cocaine overboard.
Now, part of the effect of this is that, A, it washes up on the beaches, which is dangerous, obviously, with kids, etc. It washes up on the beaches when there's a storm like this, but the other part of it is it is now having an effect on the sea life. yeah they're noticing that there were changes uh in in sea animals animals are these sea animals yeah uh and um because they ingest this cocaine yet there's a story out of the new york times about sharks on cocaine researchers have confirmed the presence of cocaine and sharks off the coast of ria de janeiro but they're still trying to research the effects of the drug yeah so now we of cocaine sharks. Can you believe this? Cocaine levels were around three times higher in muscle tissue than liver tissue.
Female sharks had higher cocaine concentrations in muscles compared to males.
So they tested these things called sharp-nosed sharks because they're smaller. And in all 13 specimens, there was a significant amount of cocaine in them. what the hell are we doing? I'm telling you, the world has gone off. It's just, I think the world is just off its access.
I just think it's off the access. All right. The other question I got for you, and we've got so much more coming up. Anybody seen Joe Biden? Where's Joe Biden?
You know, Goldbar Bob Menendez, he is still sitting, collecting his money. He's still collecting, even though he's resigning from Congress because, you know, indictment, going to jail, that kind of thing. But until then, he's still collecting his check. How does that happen? Do you know another job besides, like, teacher, where you can just not show up for work and we still keep paying you?
What is Joe Biden doing? Joe Biden has no public events on his schedule again. He has not been seen since Monday. we've got we're on the edge of a live war like a huge war in the middle east the economy's going to hell we got the illegals coming across everything the world is on fire and joe biden is nowhere to be seen but he's he's cashing the check you know when that thing direct deposits into his account he's like hunter here you go why haven't we heard from him Now, KJP, the binder, said, well, we just put out two readouts today. And to his credit, Fox News correspondent David Spunt asked her, well, can we expect to see him?
You know, you're putting out the schedule. And she goes, well, I've just been getting it the night before. Wait, so what? Does anybody know where he is? Is he alive?
Do we even know? And I don't ask that question to be funny. Like, seriously, do we even know? what is he doing? Who's running the country?
Who's running the country? You had Anthony Blinken having a press conference yesterday, or maybe it was this morning, talking about the Middle East.
Okay, who's calling the shots?
So either what I'm learning from this, either Joe Biden never did anything anyway, which I think is kind of the case, and I think Barack Obama's been running anything with Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett, and they got the old band back together. like that's happening and that's still going on. But right now, but they just still had Joe Biden pretending like he was still running stuff.
So they were lying to us the entire time, but now they're not even lying to us anymore. That to me is when it gets scary. Like when they stopped lying to us about what's happening and then I'm like, uh-oh, this is when stuff goes down. When they're not lying to us anymore, who's running the country? We're paying Joe.
I don't know what's happening. I don't know who's doing it. He had nothing on his schedule. There are more events on the event calendar in an assisted living facility than there are on Joe Biden, the president of the United States event calendar. And that's not a lie.
And I know this because I was just talking to my friend Rhoda about assisted living because she's going to look at some places. And she was complaining about the lack of activities. she would still be doing more than Joe Biden. He didn't even have bingo on his event activity. Not even bingo with Lloyd Austin.
Not even happening. That's another one who just disappeared. Just disappeared. How is this acceptable? Why is no one questioning this?
We're all just sitting here going, yeah, well, and now it's become acceptable.
Okay, well, yeah, we don't know where they are. We don't know what they're doing, but sure, let me just keep paying my taxes so we can keep paying them. Nobody seems to be outraged. Nobody seems to care. it's the world turned upside down.
I don't think I'm the only one who feels that way. I've got more mail, and then we're going to talk to Tony about the craziness happening in the world, and then we're going to jump into what's happening with the Harris campaign and who is Tim Walz. There's so much to mine there. What do you find out who this guy is? And I just have a lot of questions about a lot of this.
I've hit that point where I'm just like, what, what, how? I'm asking the basics. who, what, when, why, where constantly. You can answer some of the questions. Maybe you have the same questions I do.
I can't be the only one. 901-260-5926, 901-260-KWAM. I'm Mary Walter in for Todd Stearns. Hi, this is Todd Stearns. Today, you have the power to relieve suffering for children throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

So Nate Silver, big on the polls, and a lot of people put a lot of weight onto Nate Silver's polls. Because of how he does the polls, a little fancy, he adjusts for whether polls are conducted among registered or likely voters, the presence or the absence of RFK Jr. and any effects they could get from the House, the Senate. They weigh more reliable polls more heavily, and they use national polls to make inferences about state polls and vice versa.
So he does it every which way from Sunday. Here's where we are right now. Kamala Harris is still enjoying a boost. And they're smart. First, they announce her.
Then they wait, you know, like two weeks, almost two weeks. and they announced Waltz.
Now they're going to wait like two weeks and it's going to be the convention.
So they've got a really extended honeymoon period with the way that they've done this and a very short period for anyone to actually ask her a question. She may sit down for like one interview with like George Stephanopoulos. That's all that's going to happen. You're not going to get anything else. They're going to hide her as long as they possibly can because they don't want you to know.
They don't want you to know what you get, especially with Waltz.
So right now, Nate Silver has Harris ahead of Trump nationally and in every swing state. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, not Georgia, North Carolina. Nope, nope.
Okay, hold on. Maybe there's some good news here.
So ahead nationally, 45, almost 46 to almost 44. Pennsylvania, she has him ahead by a slim margin. Wisconsin, a slim margin. Michigan, she's ahead by a slim margin. Georgia, he is ahead by about a point and a half.
North Carolina, almost two points, almost exactly two points. Arizona, he's ahead by less than a point. Nevada, he is ahead by 0.6. Florida, of course, Trump's doing great. And in Virginia, he's ahead by one percentage point.
However, the change that she has gotten in some states, in Nevada, she's got a three-point swing, almost a four-point swing. Nationally, a two-and-a-half-point swing.
So it's going to be interesting to see where this goes and how long they can hide her and Walt. Keep her mouth shut. That's what they've got to do. Notice, Daily Caller noticed, she has no platform. There's no more than two weeks into her presidential campaign.
She has not defined her platform. The Harris for President campaign's official websites, you can learn how to take action. You can visit the merchandise store. You can meet Kamala Harris. And they give you a bio.
But that's it. That's it. There's no issues. Kind of weird. But not if you're trying to hide someone.
So that's something we have to watch. while no one's paying attention, we still have astronauts wandering around space, and we keep trying to get up there to rescue them, but they keep delaying it.
So, I hope they have a lot of food. I think it's kind of scary. I wouldn't want to be that person. That's why you'd never get me in a spaceship.
So, yeah, they're still wandering around out there. And lastly, last but not least, because the world is turned upside down, there is in, where is this? In Casper, Wyoming, there's one of those electronic billboards, and it's got a picture of somebody dressed in a chicken outfit holding an AR-15 and it says, if bacon and burgers don't get you, I may. That sounds very ominous and threatening from a man dressed as a chicken. And then it goes on to say underneath, bird flu kills.
Please, try vegan. Brought to you by PETA.
Now, to be fair, it got everybody's attention and people, right? People, right, we're talking about it now. It got people's attention. You know, they say this plays on issues that people in Wyoming feel very strongly about, eating meat and guns. I mean, when you think about, like I used to think about Montana when I think of cowboys.
Now I think of Wyoming because Montana's filled with soy boys from California now. And where it used to be, you know, cowboys, it's now man buns, skinny jeans, and juice bars. They've ruined it. But Wyoming's not like that. and the head of PETA, the vegan campaign project manager, Amber Caravan, said that's the point of this whole thing.
They're targeting areas around the country where avian flu has been detected among chickens, turkeys, and now cows, and it's starting to spill over into humans. there has been a case of avian flu in the dairy herd in Wyoming.
So that's what they're trying to do.
So in other words, they're trying to make you scared so you don't eat meat or chicken and you don't drink milk and all that other stuff. I just don't think that that's going to make people automatically become vegan. Because I don't know about you, have you ever noticed people who are vegan will have all sorts of plant-based products that they try to make look, smell, and taste like meat? You've never seen anyone try to make meat look, smell, and taste like vegetables, ever. But yet you can tell like you have faux turkey.
What is it? The faux bacon, like the turkey bacon, but that's still meat. But they make like a fake bacon. Facon, that's what they call it. Facon.
There's facon and it's like out of tofu. And they put artificial flavoring in it because I'm sure those chemicals are good for you. And you know that you see them with their, they always try with the meat. You know, there was a big, what was it, the better meat, that stuff that was going around for a while. And they said, oh, no, it looks and tastes just like real beef.
Why are you trying to make, if you love vegetables so much, just eat the darn vegetables and let it go. But nobody ever tries to do it the other way around, and that should tell you something. All right, coming up. Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaefer will be joining us to talk about the conflict in the Middle East and what it means for us here in the U.S., especially with a regime change on the horizon. We're waiting for our guest, Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schafer. Oh, he's good? We got him? Ah, great. All right.
So without further ado, guess who it is? I just told you. Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaefer, President of Project Sentinel and President of the London Center for Policy Research. Follow him on X.
Now, there's an underscore after each one of these.
So it's T spooky.
So it's T underscore S underscore P underscore.
So you spell the whole thing out with that line underneath, you know, next to each letter. Because why make it easy? Tony, welcome to the show. How are you? I'm doing well, Mary.
Thank you for having me. Absolutely. And Tony is on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker Hotline. I forgot to tell everyone that.
So I'm going to blindside you just a second here, and I apologize for doing so.
So I don't expect you to know anything about this, but I just saw it come across my timeline on X. And it says that it's unconfirmed, but there is intense fighting in the vicinity of the Al-Omar oil refinery in eastern Syria. U.S. helicopters have targeted the Syrian forces of the fighters of the tribes in the town of Daban in eastern Syria. Unconfirmed footage suggests that fighters have breached the wall surrounding the refinery.
The sound of gun battles can be heard in the background. And if the reports are true, this would be the first oil field the U.S. has lost control of in Syria. And there is accompanying video with it. Do you know anything about that?
No, it's news to me, but I wouldn't be surprised. As part of what I've said on the record is you're going to see a tapestry response from Iran. That is to say, they're not going to go back and do the same thing as the last time they're going to actually leverage all of their resources to include militias, the Houthi, Hamas, Hezbollah, all in a concerted campaign. And that we would be a target of that campaign.
So this could be a part of that effort. As you probably noticed, Mary, the White House keeps saying, oh, it's going to be retaliation. It's going to be tonight. It's going to be tonight. It's going to be tonight.
to keep missing it, not paying attention.
So this could well be part of what we believe is going to be a much broader Iranian response, which is meant to actually have an effect. Not that the presumptive use of all those rockets that were exchanged were not a response. It was, but it was ineffective. Nobody believed the Iranians were going to be able to penetrate the Iron Dome when they didn't really, except for one misfire.
So the point is, Mary, at this point, this could well be, and I guess we'll know within the next few hours, that this is a part of a larger Iranian effort to seek some real revenge against the Israelis in the United States.
Now, this is in response to, for people who maybe aren't quite following where we're going with this, is that this is retaliation, or seen as retaliation, for Iran slowly but surely and very strategically taking out their leaders, taking out Hezbollah's leaders, correct?
So taking them out. Hezbollah and Hamas, one of each. And Hamas. Oh, I like that. You know, we could have a little variety.
So that's kind of nice. And the nice thing about that is they don't know who's next.
So that's fun, too. And let me tell you, what Israel is doing, this is why I have to explain to people, like the theory of Donald Trump. They always feared him. Our enemies feared him because they thought he was just crazy enough to do something that they would do, right? That they never thought America would do.
So they thought, but he may be crazy, but he's our crazy, right? He's our crazy guy. This is what Israel is doing right now to Hamas and Hezbollah. You don't know when it's coming. You don't know who we're going to get.
They got one of the guys in Iran with friendlies who smuggled a bomb into basically a safe house and blew the guy up. It was incredible. Right.
So you hit the nail right on the head, Mary, is that Donald Trump makes this a very personal issue. It's not about the terrorist. It's about who planned the terrorist act and seeking accountability of that individual. And that's put the fear of God literally into these godless heathens as we go along. Yeah, exactly.
Exactly. And that was one thing that was so great about Donald Trump. They're like, ah, he's crazy. I'm like, yeah, but he's our crazy guy.
So that's perfect. We're also hearing speculation about a preemptive strike on Iran and Hezbollah from Israel, where there's a lot of gaming about that as well. First of all, if that's what you really think is going to happen, be quiet, because then it's not a surprise.
So we're going to see that happen? Do you think they hit first? The answer is, it depends. It depends on how serious the Israelis believe the Iranians are. The Iranians have now announced, which I've been shocked at how little coverage has been of this.
The Iranians have announced publicly that they have nuclear weapons. I would think that'd be a headline. But no, everybody's ignoring it. Nobody's talking about it except a handful of us who are actually paying attention. And the announcement that they have nuclear weapons, by the way, counters the Biden administration's narrative that, oh, we're just trying to make sure the Iranians don't get a weapon.
Well, they got a weapon. I've been saying they've had a weapon for a few years. The issue then becomes, can they launch it?
Well, the Russians are now delivering to them nuclear-capable Iskander hypersonic missiles. This is public. This has actually happened.
So the question becomes, is there a Reese's Cup moment where they're going to basically mount some sort of a nuclear weapon on a hypersonic delivery missile? That's the question. Will they do that? And I think that's what we don't know.
So we're talking about the possibility of nuclear war in the Middle East. Yeah.
Well, and this goes back to your question. Will the Israelis then do a preemptive strike? Yeah, I think they will if there's a perception that the Iranians are about to launch a nuclear strike. Absolutely. Otherwise, I think they've got sufficient defensive measures in place to not have to worry about it to any great degree.
So how did we get here? And I asked this question because I was just talking about the first hour. Like, where's Joe Biden? Who's running the country? Joe Biden has nothing on his calendar.
My friend Rhoda was complaining about the lack of activities at an assisted living center. I'm like, she does more than Joe Biden does in a day. How is it that we're still paying this man to be president, but he has nothing on his calendar? Who's dealing with this?
Well, I think it goes to the point that Joe's never really been in charge.
So when he's not, he's obviously not doing anything. It doesn't really matter. And I think that's what people have come to find. There's a group who's running the country. And Jake Sullivan's running national security.
Janet Yellen's running the economy. Kamala Harris is theoretically running the border, which we all know she's not. It's a group of individuals who are advised and led by Susan Rice and the Obama folks. They are the ones running the country. This is Obama's third term.
Let's just not be coy about it.
So Biden's absence means absolutely nothing because nobody paid attention before. He was always a figurehead. What became inconvenient for him Mary is that the Democrat chief could no longer and with any sort of good conscience vote for a guy that was obviously mentally compromised That why they switching And by the way I don think Kamala Harris would be all that important to the to the group either I think she would be another pass through that basically that they would continue to do what they're doing without any regard to who's in charge. I think people ought to find this very scary that the guy that was supposed to be elected with 81 million votes. Give me a break.
It is actually not has never been in charge. and we have this shadowy group of individuals, common individuals who are actually running things.
So that's who's running it. Oh, by the way, they're running it badly because we're about to go to war, the economy sucks, and we're about to see some really other bad things happen because of the Southwest border. Yeah, oh yeah, that's something. But I just don't understand, and we can get into it. I just don't understand the why of it all.
I don't get it. Why is this your plan? Why is this where you want to go? That makes zero sense to me whatsoever because if you blow the planet up, everybody's going. They can only go so far.
Like, they can only insulate themselves so far. But if you blow the planet up, guess what? You're going too.
So that never has made much sense to me at all. They don't think so, though. They don't think so. They think they're somehow going to come out of it. It's like, yeah, it didn't work that way.
But they're convinced they're somehow going to come out of this on top. Yeah, well, that I'm just absolutely in awe of. Let's talk about this Pakistani now. Oh, wait, wait, before we before we leave there, a report came out that no one's paying attention to that nine staff members who worked for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, UNRWA, for Palestine refugees may have been involved in the October 7th attack on Israel. They just completed an investigation.
It was done by the U.N. Office of Internal Oversight Services.
So they investigated themselves, which that's pretty much what we do here.
So that's how I always question everything. In January, Israel alleged that at least 12 UNRWA staffers were involved in the attack.
So they investigated, and they investigated 19 staff members in Gaza. In one case, no evidence was found, and that person returned to the agency. In nine cases, the evidence was, quote, insufficient to support the staff members' involvement. for the remaining nine cases, the evidence, if authenticated and corroborated, could indicate that they may have been involved, but they terminated their contracts anyway.
So that says to me, OK, they were involved and that's why we terminated their contracts. Why is this allowed to happen? No one seems to be shocked and or surprised by this. No, the UN's been compromised for decades. I mean, this goes back to Bosnia-Herzegovina when they were there trying to do peacekeeping they were looting as much as they were peacekeeping it's it's not an honest organization one that's actually designed to do the right thing to help people and this is more evidence of it it's a left-wing extension of the globalists and so yeah when they were in there as unra they were essentially an auxiliary auxiliary of hamas and when you talk about an organization of about about 10 000 people uh between eight and ten thousand people were hired you had about a thousand of those folks in some form supporting Hamas.
And then you had the smaller group who were actually engaged as members of Hamas.
So it's not enough, Mary. They've been fired. They need to be prosecuted. These people need to go to jail. You cannot be acting like a neutral entity and serving a terrorist organization.
So this reminds me, reminds us that we need to stop funding the UN. These people are evil and they will always side with the folks who are trying to oppose us. Yeah, well, I humbly apologize for all my trick-or-treating for UNICEF as a child. Two quick things before we run out of time here, so it's going to be rapid fire. According to some sources, and I saw this this morning on different news channels, Ukraine has initiated a limited ground incursion into Russia.
Do you know anything about what's happening there? Yes.
So, there's supposed to be this former Russian group, Russians who were defected to Ukraine who are now trying to go back in and they're using some American vehicles. It's a sham. This is all to distract from the fact that Donbass is about to fall to the Russians. As a matter of fact, people actually, some of the NAFO guys, the guys who are pro Zelensky, are pointing out, it's like, really? You're trying to do this kind of virtue signal of going into Kursk.
At the same time, you're losing ground in Donbass. By the way, Mary, did you hear that the village of New York fell to the Russians overnight? And I'm not joking about that. There's a place called New York in the Donbass, which fell to the Russians.
So, gee, instead of defending New York, they're off doing these stupid things in Kursk.
So it's really bad. And don't believe the media on this either. The Russians are back on the offensive. The F-16s had no effect. There's some articles out there saying, oh, the F-16 showing up is putting Putin on his heels.
It hasn't done anything.
So I'm just saying that this whole curse thing is another thing that means absolutely nothing. They shot it out of the sky from what I read.
So very quickly, because we're going to run out of time, what are we to make this Pakistani national, Asif merchant, 46 years old, flew from Pakistan to the U.S. to recruit hitmen for an alleged plot to take out high-ranking Americans. And according to ABC News, one of the intended targets was Trump. The irony is this guy was arrested. It turns out that the people he was talking to, the hitmen, were FBI.
And he was supposed to leave the country on July 12th, the day before the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on the 13th. They are supposedly not connected. although we know that crooks had an encrypted phone with foreign contacts on it so now i question i like question everything regarding investigation is clearly a cover-up we just don't know what they're covering up yet and this is the tip of the iceberg mary besides the obvious neglect i'll be polite regarding the 7 july attempt there are other foreign nationals in the united states some of them are Iranian looking at doing certain things. I mean, remember Mike Pompeo and others are also on the hit list by the Iranians.
So this is the tip of the iceberg. Oh, Lord.
Well, Tony, we'll have Kamala Harris and Tim Walts at the helm, so don't worry about it. We'll be just fine. Tim Walts, who pretends he had combat. Yeah, he was never in combat, but he's saying he was.
So that's people saying it's stolen valor. Yes, we have audio of that coming up with some of his teammates, soldiers that were serving with him in the National Guard, and how he just left them high in drive.
So we're going to talk about that. Anything you want to plug, my friend, before I let you go?
So check out the National Veterans Parade. Go to their website, nationalveteransparade.org. It's coming up in November, November 10th. If they're in D.C., it's the second annual, and people want to show up and support veterans.
So more on that as it comes, but I'm sure we'll be talking about that before November.
So thanks, Mary. And aren't you like the marshal of that parade? I was the first grand marshal of the parade, and now I'm on the board. And we have a lot of folks that will be coming to hang out at this. As a matter of fact, the grand marshal this year is a rock and roll guy.
I don't remember. He's actually a combat veteran who was shot six times in Iraq and Afghanistan. Wow. Scotty something. Scotty Hughes.
That's right. Scotty Hughes was the singer and combat veteran. He's going to be the Grand Marshal this year. All right. Well, thank you so much.
Appreciate it. Have a great week. Appreciate you joining me. And go check that out, everybody. Check it out.
All right. Take care. Your call's coming up, 901-260-5926, 901-260-KWAM on the Todd Starn Show. So let's talk about what happened here. The first thing I want to ask, you have a lot of questions, There's a lot of questions about this whole Harris Waltz thing.
So I have a lot of questions. My first question was picking Waltz a mistake. And you can jump in, 901-260-5926, 901-260-KWAM. Jump in, or you can reach out to me on X. Go to Mary Walter Radio.
There's no S. Mary Walter Radio. Leave your comments, and I'll try to multitask and get your comments on X at the same time. Here's why I think picking walls was a mistake. I think Josh Shapiro was a way better candidate.
Really do. I think Josh Shapiro was a much better candidate. And he's just, I think he's more likable. I think he's more moderate. I think he's a better speaker.
And I was watching MSNBC this morning because I love you so that you don't have to do it. That's how much I care about you. I watch so you don't have to. And it was interesting because they were all, you know, effusive. And they were very happy about Waltz, the pick of Waltz.
And they were so excited about the rally last night and the speech introducing him. And they were all crazy. And like, oh, it's all young people in the house. I'm like, because they're the dumb ones. And they were going on and on.
But everything they talked about was about personality. It was about look. there was nothing of substance. They didn't talk about anything that he brings to the ticket as far as policy. They didn't talk about politics.
None of it. And I thought that that was really weird. Speaking of weird, they keep calling us weird. No policy. Does that sell?
We'll talk about that coming up on The Todd Starn Show. Hi, everyone. If you've been injured in an accident that was not your fault, listen up. We have legal professionals standing by to answer your questions for free. Call now and find out if you have a case and how much it's potentially worth.

Todd Starnes. Oh, yeah. Welcome back to the Todd Starnes Show. I'm Mary Walter with you in the Liberty University Studios. Hello, if you are just joining us.
How are you? Where you been? Oh, you talked to Tony Schaefer, Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaefer earlier.
Solved all the world's problems for us and you missed it.
So now you don't know what the game plan is. Coming up later this hour, Cheryl Chumley from the Washington Times. to talk about quite a few things. There are three things we're going to talk to her about, but the Democrats and their new attack plan to get MAGA, what they're trying to do to get MAGA.
So we'll talk to her about that coming up here on the Todd Starn Show. In the next hour, Jeffrey Lord will be joining us. He has a lot to say. He's a very smart man, and he's one of my faves. And we're going to talk to him about, you know, another member of the squad, Cori Bush, just lost a primary.
This is what happens when Democrats allow primaries, which is why they don't allow them, if they can get away with it.
So she lost her primary.
So that's number two, because Jamal Bowman, he of fire alarm fame, lost as well.
So now they're down two, three more to go. But what does it say when Democrats are running the most liberal president and vice presidential ticket, presidential ticket, like the most liberal ever? And the members of the squad are getting booted out. I'm very confused. To me, it seems to be very in opposition to each other.
So was choosing Waltz a mistake for the Harris campaign?
Now, the way I saw the entire thing play out, the way I thought is that they had three choices. She had three choices. And I don't even know if she made the decision. I don't even know if it was her. I'll be honest with you.
Honestly, I don't think they let that woman make her own popcorn in the microwave in the lunchroom. She's the chick who puts it on for 10 minutes and walks away and then can't understand why the fire department's there. That's her.
So I don't even know she made this decision. Wouldn't be surprised at all if she had nothing to do with this. And this was an Obama pick, which surprises me even more, which kind of makes me think she's the one who did it. Because I don't think it was a very good choice. And here's why.
So the way I looked at it, they had Mark Kelly. You heard Mark Kelly, Mark Kelly, Mark Kelly.
Now, the New York Post have reported, remember, what was that, almost three weeks ago, two and a half weeks ago, oh, so long and far away, when Joe Biden was overthrown in the coup. The New York Times report, excuse me, the New York Post reported that the way it was supposed to go down, so supposedly what happened is Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama went to Joe Biden and said, look, here's the deal. We got to have a sit down because you ain't moving and we want you to go.
So if you're not going to go, we're going to help you out the door. And what they told him is we've got Kamala Harris on board. She's going to 25th Amendment you. And we got the votes to 25th Amendment you right out the door.
So you got a choice. You leave on your own terms or you leave as the president who got 25th Amendment out the door.
So he took the deal.
Now, I'm sure that Dr. Jill got everything she could possibly want in that. I'm sure there was a lot of money that's changed hands and other sweet perks. And I bet you there's all sorts of amnesties for every member of the Biden crime family. And nobody's going to jail.
And Hunter Biden maybe got like a lifetime supply of cocaine and hookers or God knows what. But to get Jill Biden, I just had this mental image of her when they're trying to get her out of there, like clinging onto the drapes, like on her stomach, holding onto the drapes, clinging onto the Secret Service, pulling at her legs, going, come on, ma'am, you gotta go, you gotta go. You're no longer the first lady. It's time to get out of here. She doesn't want it.
So, but the plan was that they wanted to have a mini primary because they knew Kamala Harris would not win a primary. She never, she's, I've gotten the same amount of primary votes as Kamala Harris. Zero. Neither one of us has ever gotten a primary vote. I could be president.
But I know better.
So they wanted to have a mini primary because they knew she wouldn't make it. And they were supposedly going to put Mark Kelly up. Because Barack Obama liked Mark Kelly. Thought he was electable. Thought he could be Trump.
And I got to tell you, I think he would have been a good candidate. I really do. And so, but that didn't happen. Because you remember, Joe Biden comes out and he gives his abdication speech. She just read the teleprompter, whatever they put in there.
And apparently, in my humble opinion, Dr. Jill put in there that he endorses Kamala Harris.
Well, that wasn't part of the plan. That was not part of the plan. They were supposed to have a mini primary and get her out of there. Sweet. Didn't happen.
Now, remember, the Bidens, the Obamas don't like the Bidens. They don't like each other. No love lost there. And the Bidens don't like the Harrises. Dr.
Jill can't stand Kamala Harris. How she became the VP selection is I, to this day, don't know how that happened. And it did.
So there's a lot of animosity. Think Real Housewives level stuff.
So the theory is, is that Joe Biden and Jill Biden endorsed Kamala Harris on the way out the door as a big finger to the establishment that booted him out, that pulled off the coup. All right. So now you got all of that.
So now she can pick, she was whittled down to Mark Kelly, Josh Shapiro, and Tim Walz. And everybody's like, who? Tim Walz. Who's Tim Walz? Never heard of him.
I think that's part of the plan.
So Mark Kelly, I think, would have been a smart choice. That's just me. But Mark Kelly's out.
So now we're down to Josh Shapiro and Tim Walz.
Now, to me, that puts the DNC in a pickle. Because there is a faction of the Democrat Party that is very anti-Semitic. Josh Shapiro, in case you didn't know, is Jewish. And he has spoken out in support of Israel.
Now, when he realizes it's between him and Tim Walz, who's far left and the far, far left, the Hamas wing of the party loves him.
So he kind of like toned down the pro-Israel rhetoric. And I think Josh Shapiro would have been a good candidate. I really do. But no, she picks Tim Walz.
Now, I think she picks Tim Walz because he's great insurance against getting impeached. Nobody knows who the guy is, and that's another thing. Nobody knows who he is.
So they have a very truncated, very short campaign season. There's not a lot of time to get all this information out about who the heck she chose.
So I ask you again, is Walsh a mistake? Do you think they should have picked Shapiro? And can I ask, this is another one of my 10,000 questions I have about this entire thing. How does a Jewish person vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walsh When they just, first of all, when she was VP, the Biden administration totally, totally has screwed over Israel. They are our best friends in the Middle East.
They scream about preserving democracy. The only democracy in the Middle East is Israel. You see these idiots marching down the street with Queers for Palestine signs. I'm like, seriously? You know they hang gay people from cranes, right?
Like, just curious. Do you know that? But they don't. They're useful idiots. They truly are.
Netanyahu was absolutely right. I don't understand why the Catholic girl sitting here supports Israel more than some of my Jewish friends, who, for whatever reason, were cheering. I know someone who was at the rally in Philadelphia back there clapping like a seal. Yay for Harris and Walsh. I'm like, really?
And you're like, go to Israel kind of Jew. not like an American reformed kind of Jew who just you know like they're Jewish and name only kind of thing I don't understand that at all I don't get it so I so they clearly just took out the Jewish wing of the party and they put their lot with the anti-Semitic wing of the party and no one's saying a word about it nobody says anything so okay coming up and I want to give myself more time to get into this, so I'm going to break just a tad early, just a tad, because I want to talk to you about something that I found just before I came on the air, and it floored me about Tim Walz. And there's a lot of things that we can talk about with Tim Walz. For instance, he is for, he supports free tuition, you sponsor it, tuition for illegal immigrants. Yeah, he supports that.
and I got a list of some of his most far left policies but I've got some of that coming up we're going to talk a little bit about what J.D. Vance had to say about her choosing walls and what Van Jones had to say I got some one of you on Van Jones and discussing this whole anti-Semitic versus pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party so I got all that coming up, there's so much to get in here before we speak with Cheryl Chumley, who's coming up in about 20 minutes on the Todd Starnes Show. ShareRite is a program of IHS, one of the fastest growing healthcare sharing organizations in the country. Mary Walter in for Todd Starnes. We're talking about the choice of Tim Walls on the ticket with Kamala Harris instead of Josh Shapiro that many people thought was a much better choice, a much smarter choice.
So CNN commentator Van Jones yesterday was discussing the choice of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. And I want to get into it. He was speaking with Jim Acosta. That guy. Speaking with Jim Acosta, we're just going to go to cut one, Dylan.
And he has some concerns. Here he is. What worries me is you see a lot of relief from the conservatives. They were scared of Josh Shapiro. They were scared of a Mark Kelly.
They thought that would help define Kamala more to the middle. You see a lot of rejoicing on the right. That's not good. Also, you've got some disquiet in the Jewish community.
Some people had their hopes up. Maybe you're going to get another shot at a Jewish vice president. We haven't had that for two decades. And now that gets pulled away. Is it just because he's a moderate or is there some anti-Jewish bias here?
So the party is still digesting this.
So at least he's being honest about it. At least he's being fair. Not one of my favorite people. Not one of my favorite commentators. But I have to give credit where credit is due.
And Van Jones is being honest. And he is questioning maybe there is an anti-Semitism problem in the Democrat Party. I think there is. Let's go on. Here's more of what he had to say.
And he talks about there's a challenge in this party with bringing the two sides together. But here's the challenge you've got in this party. And people don't want to talk about it. We got to talk about it. On the one hand, you have a lot of young people who are concerned about Gaza.
You have a lot of Muslims and Arabs and others. They have not felt seen by the Biden administration. You start hearing that genocide joke. That was building. That was building.
And so those folks needed to have a candidate that they could feel comfortable with. This helps them in that regard. But you also have anti-Semitism that has gotten marbled into this party. You can be for the Palestinians without being an anti-Jewish bigot, but there are some anti-Jewish bigots out there. And there's some disquiet now, and there has to be how much of what just happened is caving into some of these darker parts in the party.
So that's going to have to get worked out. It's going to have to get talked through. But I tell you what, if you have a Josh Shapiro who says, you know what, I give this my stamp. I give this my support. I believe in this ticket.
That's going to help a great deal. And Josh Shapiro has a magnificent future in this party regardless. But it's mostly positive. You're seeing mostly enthusiasm. But there is some just quiet conversation we've got to have inside this party.
So he noticed that Kamala Harris catered to the young part of the party. because what happened is in the primaries in Michigan and in Wisconsin, a lot of them just voted non-committed in order to send a message that they didn't like the way this administration, the Biden administration or the Obama administration part tray, they did not like the way they were engaging with Israel. They thought it was wrong. They're anti-Semitic. they want free Palestine.
They want another ceasefire. They want all of these colleges and universities to divest from any kind of investments in Israel, which is not realistic. Stop it. What bothers me is they're just so ignorant, so ignorant. And they think they know everything.
And as part of it's the age. But they are catering to that. And I wonder if one of the reasons they're catering to it is because young people, for the most part, not all, are so easily swayed. They're very susceptible because they think they know it all.
So if you just reinforce what they think they know and you tell them, gosh, you're so smart, they just continue going and going and going and they go harder and harder and harder. Plus, there were no punishments meted out, right? There were no punishments at all. J.D. Vance was saying yesterday that Kamala Harris is a person who listened to the Hamas wing of her own party.
This is a guy who's proposing shipping more manufacturing jobs to China. He wants to make the American people more reliant on garbage energy instead of good American energy. He's proposed defunding the police. He allowed rioters to burn down Minneapolis in the summer of 2020. And then the few who got caught, Kamala Harris helped bail him out of jail.
Now that appeals to the young radical wing of the Democrat Party, to the Antifa wing of the Democrat Party. And don't kid yourself, it exists. And now they're growing up and they're out of college. And so they make a living traveling around the country, burning down cities, getting arrested and getting let out of jail. That's what they do.
And don't think that that doesn't happen because it does.
so when you have people who are so committed to this that their whole world is burning stuff down and thinking that they're just and they're righteous in what they're doing it's kind of scary but that where we are and he said a reporter asked him if he thought harris chose to decline to choose shapiro because of anti He said it not what I believe It what the Democrat leadership has said He said many people say repeatedly that the reason Kamala Harris was going away from Josh Shapiro is because they worried about anti And they're worried about that wing of the party.
So rather than, to me, if Kamala Harris had confronted it, had called it out, acknowledged that it exists, I would have actually have respect for her. I really would, because I try to be fair. I try not to be an ideologue. And I would have respected her for calling it out. But instead, she caved to it, just like Nancy Pelosi caved to the squad.
Remember the squad was protesting in Nancy Pelosi's office, and she didn't do anything about it. And I was like, oh, Nancy, here you go. You created the monster.
Now it's yours. You kind of get what you vote for.
Now, I guess they kind of get what they support. The Democratic Socialists of America, though, have praised the choice in a post on X. And also, just so you know, the Democratic Socialists of America, AOC, is a proud member, Rashida Tlaib, and some of them who have already been booted out, like Cori Bush and Jamal Bowman. They said, Harris choosing Walsh as a running mate has shown the world that DSA and our allies on the left are a force that cannot be ignored. Through collective action, DSA and the U.S.
left more broadly have made it clear that change is needed. DSA members organized in our workplaces and unions to realign the labor movement to support Palestinian liberation. Where are they going to go? What homeland are you giving them? You're going to bring them into your house?
Neighboring countries aren't taking these people, and you've got to ask yourself why. Huh. Why won't neighboring countries take Palestinians in? Why is that? Nobody even thinks about it.
Nobody even bothers to scratch their head and say, I wonder why they want to do that. Yeah, nobody wants them. And some liberal media figures have also not been happy, but they've expressed their displeasure with Tim Walsh as a running choice. Washington Post columnist Megan McArdle wrote, My fears about Harris are that she is incredibly bad at public speaking and that she makes reliably bad political decisions.
So far, she has done nothing to allay either fear. I'm not saying she can't win, but I wish she gave me more confidence. Professor, podcaster Damon Linker said, Rather than pick the very popular governor of a neck and neck must win purple state, Pennsylvania, Harris chose a dime a dozen blue state governor who gives feels to progressives. All right, we're going to discuss some of this with Cheryl Chumley coming up next right here on the Todd Starn Show. Welcome back to the Todd Starn Show.
How is everyone? I am Mary Walter sitting in for Todd Starnes here in the Liberty University studios. Joining me on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker Hotline is Cheryl Chumley. She's the online opinion editor for The Washington Times and the host of Bold and Blunt podcast. You can follow her on X at CK Chumley, C-H-U-M-L-E-Y.
Cheryl, welcome to the Todd Starnes Show. Great to talk to you again. Hi, Mary. It's always great to chat with you.
Now, let me ask you a quick question before we go any further. Where can people find your podcast, Bold and Blunt? Where can we find it? At WashingtonTimes.com or wherever podcasts are available. It's everywhere.
Thank you. It's everywhere. That's great. I'm glad to hear you're everywhere. That's nice.
Listen, there's a lot of podcasts out there. Breaking through is hard, you know, and it's part of the game.
So getting to that level, that's fantastic.
So you are quite the prolific writer. And I really highly recommend people go to TheWashingtonTimes.com. Check it out. She's got some really great pieces. And there's a whole range of different topics.
And so Grace had sent me a few of them. And I chose the ones that I liked. One of the things that I think is so important that dovetails with what we've just been talking about, which is the snubbing of Josh Shapiro and the Jewish base of the Democrat Party while they embrace the young pro-Hamas, I guess a new part, I don't think they're the base, but they're a new faction in the Democrat Party. And you talk about these kids going back to school, these young people who were all there clapping for Tim Walls last night. They're all clapping and this is great.
They're going to be the kids, as you observed, they're going to be the kids who are going to be burning down our college campuses in the name of freeing Palestine, because probably quite a few of them did it already, and they weren't punished for it, so why not do it again? Do you think the Democrats will allow them to do that again? Because I don't see it happening, because it's going to make them look bad.
Well, it depends on polling, right? I mean, honestly, that's how Democrats roll. They look at the numbers and they listen to the pundits on mainstream media to see how things play out. I really don't think the Democrats have much of a problem about allowing these campus protests against Israel to go forth again. It took them so long to denounce it last time.
So as we get closer to the election, if it seems to affect their political races, I'm sure there will be some who call it out. But other than that, I see the college campuses around America, the same ones that allowed these Jew bashing protests to go forward a few months ago. I see them picking up right where they left off. It's amazing to me. And I just keep thinking of one of my friends.
she's elderly, but her son and her granddaughter, you know, born and raised Democrat. And so they're still Democrat. And her granddaughter was actually in Israel with her aunt for just, you know, just touring around Israel on October 7th. And her, you know, thankfully, her aunt is of means. And so they were able to get out.
They were fortunate that they could get out. But that doesn't seem to have changed their view of really much of what has been happening. And, you know, she was there, the granddaughter was there at the rally last night, cheering on a woman who just, to me, really just kicked the Jewish base of the Democrat Party that has been that base for so long. Does the polling tell them that this was the right move? Or did Kamala Harris actually make this choice, which is phenomenally, in my opinion, ridiculous, which would make me think she made the choice?
So I think the Democrats have enjoyed a long affiliation with the Jews in America, right? And that's been one of the big puzzling questions to analysts, to us looking at the Jewish population in America and in Israel and seeing how the Democrats, especially recently, especially the last few years, the squad most openly, right, have been just bashing Israel and throwing Israel under the bus. And even this White House administration talks the big talk about supporting Israel, but then at the same time goes behind Israel's back and talks about, you know, the need to, you know, tone down rhetoric and stop the violence and so forth. And so they undercut Israel as well.
So that's one of the puzzling questions here. Why do Jews in America still vote Democrat? And the only answer that I've been able to ever receive on that is, it goes back to the founding of Israel, which was founded as a socialist nation. And there are plenty in the Jewish faith and in the Jewish ethnicity who still believe strongly in that socialist type agenda. And that's why Democrats are still able to win their votes, which is still curious.
Yeah, I do not get it at all. The gun range I go to, my husband and I belong to, is in an area of New Jersey that has a huge Hasidic population. And let me tell you, they are conservative. They are all Trump supporters. They are totally different from what you see, I think, from maybe the more reformed groups of Jews.
I think maybe that's where some of that difference comes in. And so what you're saying is they may do the whole destroy our campus in the name of democracy and freeing Palestine only if it pulls well. Otherwise, the Democrats are going to pull them back from this and they're going to say, hey, you can't keep doing this. The word's going to go out. This has got to stop.
Yeah, that's what I think. I think that's what they did last time, right? There were so many Democrats who failed to speak out strongly against these anti-Israel protests that went forth on college campuses. Until it got to the point where the story didn't die down. Until it got to the point where even some of the mainstream media were saying, hey, what's going on with this?
We need to have some Democrats speaking out against it.
So I think that's what they wait for. They wait to see how the winds shift and so forth and whether it impacts them personally, politically. And that's when they take action. Yeah, yeah.
Okay, so let's move on from that. Let's go to the new attack against MAGA.
So Democrats have a new attack against MAGA. Tell everybody about this. The American Bar Association is putting together a task force for American quote-unquote democracy. Whenever I see that American quote-unquote democracy, I'm like, uh-oh, and my antenna goes up because they don't really mean democracy when they say democracy. No, they don't.
And they talk about rising authoritarianism and the need to combat that through the legal system. And so if you read between the lines, if you parse their statements, right, what they're talking about is basically assembling this legal team ready to pounce for the election season on any type of questions that might arise at the polls. But they also want to have at their ready attorneys who will counter the MAGA narrative, counter the MAGA types in politics. And they're saying that they basically want to combat authoritarianism. But really what they're doing is they're taking their best legal minds and assembling a task force to basically shut down any dissenting views of the Democrat Party.
They're looking to go after MAGA types.
Well, I, for one, am totally shocked by that news. Yeah, shocking, shocked. We've seen this, though, already. Look at the legal system. Look at what happened to Peter Navarro.
Look at what happened, and look at what the banking system, debanking Peter Navarro because he doesn't, I guess, meet their social credit score, right? Look at what they're doing to Donald Trump. They're going to, and I'm shocked that the Supreme Court did not hold off his sentencing until after the election. But now they're going to now sentence him just before the election. He's sentenced, I think, in September.
Now I noticed that Hunter Biden is pushed off until after the election, but not Donald Trump. And I thought that that was very interesting. They so badly want to have that picture of him in the courtroom. And I can't imagine that they're going to lead him away to make him serve time. I will be shocked if they do that.
But I think if they do, he wins the election. I can't believe they're going to make that calculus. Yeah, I was a little bit surprised as well, what you just said about the timing of the sentencing and so forth. But honestly, you know, Donald Trump in shackles, it's a win. I think there are so many moderates still in America who would look at that as an abuse of power.
And when we're talking about the American Bar Association and how you pointed out Peter Navarro, great example, right? Peter Navarro actually got out of jail and stood on the Republican convention stage and said, I went to prison so you don't have to. And this is exactly what the ABA is doing. It reminds me of when Eric Holder, remember Obama's wingman, as he turned himself, left office, went to California and started a legal group aimed at helping illegal immigrants with their court battles. And so this is sort of the American Bar Association taking a playbook from that, but targeting and fine-tuning and putting in their focus the MAGA types in America.
It's so scary. And lastly, you wrote a piece on our freedoms in this country and how Supreme Court Justice, Associate Justice, Neil Gorsuch was on Fox News Sunday with Maria Dabarta Romo. and he said something that I thought was really interesting that you note here, that when government is allowed to run roughshod over individual rights by pretending as if government and only government can solve society's problems, that's where tyranny blooms. And I apologize, those are your words, not his. And I highlighted those words because I thought that they were really important and so true.
And our freedoms are slowly being where the frog in the pot. I know that analogy is used a lot, but I think that that's really true here. Yeah, and I think it's gone beyond the frog in the pot. And, you know, my words came because Gorsuch was talking about the state that Americans face right now. Each and every one of us probably commit a felony each day because there are so many laws and regulations on the books.
And he said that this atmosphere has occurred in his lifetime, that the laws have really doubled over the last couple decades. And, you know, it got me thinking when you get to that point in society, especially a free society like America is supposed to be, where our rights and liberties come from a creator and government's only there to preserve and protect those birthrights that we all hold, then that's a really dramatic eye-opener about how the roles have flipped in this nation, that government sees itself as the provider. And basically, they don't see anything wrong with making laws to make everything a felony, make everything unlawful, and we as citizens are supposed to just hop, skip, and obey. Yeah, well, this is why I try to never leave my home. That and the fact that people don't really thrill me all that much.
And when I am out, I have to tell you, I do go out of my way to commit a felony each and every single time, just to see if they get me. Cheryl Chumley, thank you so much. Look up her podcast, Bold and Blunt. You can find all of her writings at TheWashingtonTimes.com. And, of course, follow her on X at CK Chumley.

Every penny will go to help feed a child. Let's take your call, shall we? 901-260-5926. 901-260-KWAM. Mike from Tennessee wants to challenge me.
Mike, welcome to the show. How are you? Hey, I'm doing great. Greetings, and please don't take this personal, but if you read the Constitution, the word democracy is nowhere in there. And if you go to Palestine, or if you read the Bible, you'll find out that Palestine is the cradle of Christianity, and right now there's 15% of the population in Palestine are Christians.
And where can you go that is illegal to practice Christianity in the Middle East? Two countries. One is Israel, and the other is Saudi Arabia. They'll lock you up. My preacher from one of the largest churches in Memphis back in the day went there, and he had tracts, and they said, put them away or we will remove you, and if you don't, we might even arrest you.
Hold on.
okay according to USA Today fact check preaching Christianity is not illegal in Israel an October 25th Instagram video shows a man sitting in his car talking about Christian supporters of Israel imagine 2 billion Christians the world over blindly supporting them and in Israel it is illegal to openly preach the word of Jesus Christ the post garnered more than 16,000 likes in four days they're rating false it is legal to preach Christianity in Israel where freedom of religion is guaranteed for all. Two lawmakers proposed a bill outlawing Christian proselytization in January, but it did not advance. I'm going by a preacher from 1994 who told me this. Feel free. I'm going by 2023, not 1994.
And the almanac, which shows religions of the world. Also, what about the USS Liberty that was attacked by Israel? Israel is a government. The people of Israel, I support them, and they don't support what is going on. And these people that support Palestinians are supporting not only Jews in Palestine, but Christians as well as people of the Islamic faith.
The Hamas group, that's a creation by MI6 that's British intelligence, and the Mossad, which is Israeli intelligence, it's a sock puppet. It's called a false flag. You're throwing a lot of stuff out here. Let's go back to the USS Liberty incident in 1967. Israel apologized for that attack and said it had been made in error.
They mistook it for an Egyptian ship. It was not done purposely. It's flying the United States flag. But we never make mistakes. They shot at it for 45 minutes.
They were radio attacking U.S. ships.
Okay, let's move forward. Let's move forward. Hamas is a sock puppet. It was created by MI6 and the Israeli Mossad. The people there don't support Mossad.
And you've got a wall around that 25-mile border, and Israel guards it. A fly can't land on it without them knowing about it. There's electronic surveillance everywhere, and it goes way down in the ground to prevent tunneling. This was something that was allowed. The people in Israel know it.
They're protesting. Go over there. Go to Israel and talk to the people inside there. All right. Well, we've got to run.
Thank you so much. I appreciate your comments, but I do question some of what you just told me, considering you were quoting, again, Christianity, legal to preach in Israel. That's 2024, not 1994. All right, don't go away. We still got another hour left on the Todd Stern Show.
Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-toting, Bible-clinging, deplorable American. That's us, that's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starnes. Oh, yeah.
I'm Mary Walter sitting in for Todd Starnes here in the Liberty University studios. As always, your calls are welcome at 901-260-5926. You can also reach out to me on X at Mary Walter Radio. There is no S on that. It's just Mary Walter Radio.
And don't forget my podcast on Tuesdays live. You can participate on YouTube or Getter. Just look for Mary Walter Radio. And you can go back and watch past episodes on YouTube. Last night's has not been edited yet, so I'll get there.
And all the audio is up on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Again, look for Mary Walter Radio. All right, our next guest is one of my favorites. And it's funny because we had Tony Schaefer on earlier in our first hour. And now we have Jeffrey Lord, author at the American Spectator, also Newsbusters, also Daily Caller.
And the last time I saw him was with Tony Schaefer at CPAC.
So it's been quite a day for me. Follow him on X at RealJeffreyLord because apparently there are imposters. Jeffrey, thank you for joining me. Do you know, I did a Google search.
Somebody said something to me the other day. I did a Google search. There really is somebody else out there named Jeffrey Lord. How dare they? We have nothing in common as I look at his stuff, but I thought, that's just amazing.
Well, you know, I guess there's only so many names in the world, right?
Well, that's right. You know, good mothers think alike. that's right now um i know that you are in touch with former president trump that you have a a dialogue with him and a way to contact him and be in touch with him where is he what's going on like where is he where is he where is he today uh you know i'm i'm not sure i i know there's something going on in palm beach with uh conservative writers and all that i don't know whether he personally is involved in this but i know his campaign people are putting this together. I've been invited. I don't think I'm going to be able to make it.
I'm up here in the middle of Pennsylvania. Known the last few days I might add as Josh Shapiro country. Yeah.
But I guess my point is it seems like, I don't know if he's allowing Kamala Harris to have her honeymoon period because she's just sucking all the air out of everything but he seems to me to be oddly quiet and it makes me a little bit nervous just because it's all about Kamala Harris and Tim Walls and it's all glowing praise. She hasn't spoken to a reporter. She hasn't done an interview. It's nothing. And it doesn't seem to me to be like Donald Trump.
This is a much different Donald Trump, I think, than what I'm used to. I'm a little bit nervous about the whole thing. I just thought he would be out there. This is such a short campaign season because they pulled off a coup, switched out the candidates, and now he's got to beat this one.
Now he beat Joe Biden.
Now he's got to beat this one and i don't know he doesn't even seem to be playing the game to me no i i think he'll get you know i think he wants to let them uh get out there and then he's going to go on the attack uh uh you know he's really good at this he he he doesn't let people get a free ride and i think you know what what interests me being of a certain age this reminds me of the uh george mcgovern nomination back in 1972 when i was in college and uh he was so far to the left that richard nixon just made you know mismeat out of him and wound up winning 49 states uh that year because mcgovern was just way way way out there and i think also uh you know having worked for President Reagan, and I was working for him in 1984, Walter Mondale, Jimmy Carter's vice president. And, you know, he was proudly a man of the left. And I remember at the Democratic Convention, he talked about Reagan's pledge to raise taxes. And he said, well, he will raise taxes. The difference is he won't tell you, and I just did.
Oops. And that was scripted. That's the thing that was amazing to me. That was totally scripted.
Well, he too wound up losing 49 states to the Republican candidate, to Ronald Reagan. And I just think they've made a tremendous mistake here between the two candidates on their ticket now. There you have Tim while saying socialism is just another word for being neighborly. And I thought, my God, you want to tell that to the people who survived the Soviet Union or Eastern Europe or Cuba and all of this sort of stuff, Venezuela? I mean, this is seriously bad stuff.
And I think the American people will get the drift and reject them big time.
Well, that's what I was going to ask you.
So we now have Cori Bush being defeated, member of the squad. Jamal Bowman of Fire Alarm Pulling fame, getting the boot from the squad.
So there seems to be this blowback against the far left of the party. But yet it seems as if Kamala Harris made the decision, who knows, to pick Tim Walsh over Josh Shapiro and even over Kelly. I thought Kelly was a great pick because you avoided the whole anti-Semitic, angering the anti-Semitic wing or angering the Jewish wing. She would have avoided the whole thing. She didn't pick Kelly.
So I didn't understand that at all, which makes me think that she actually really did make this pick.
So what is happening? We're getting mixed messages from the voters here, aren't we? yeah and i think one of the my old uh sparring partner at cnn van jones from i have a lot of respect he became a friend but we're on opposite sides and he said just yesterday i believe it was yeah that uh anti-semitism had been i think his word was marbleized into the democratic party and i think uh van is a hundred percent correct this is a real problem for them uh you know here in Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro has his fans. You know, I'm a Republican. I would disagree with him on various issues and all this kind of thing.
But the fact that they would, you know, deny him a vice presidential nomination because he's Jewish, this is pretty bad. Pennsylvania has a bipartisan history of electing people of the Jewish faith to state office. One of the people I knew fairly well was our late Senator Arlen Specter, a Republican who turned out to be the longest serving senator in Pennsylvania history. He served five terms, 30 years, and he was Jewish. Governor Milton Schaaf, Governor Tom Wolfe, Democrats both, was Jewish and now you have Josh Shapiro and the notion that he would be rejected because he is Jewish is pretty bad and pretty offensive And I think they got a real problem on their hands in the Democratic Party Yeah, I don't know.
I was telling the story earlier of one of my friends who is Jewish, and she's 93, so I don't think she's changing. But, you know, her granddaughter was in Italy, in Italy, dear Lord, in Israel on October 7th with her aunt. And by the grace of God, they got out. and the fact that they have a lot of wealth and resources to be able to get out. And she was worried about that.
But yet then her granddaughter was at the rally last night in Pennsylvania, clapping like a seal for Kamala Harris and Tim Walsh. Did you not learn anything from what almost happened to you? It was just very odd to me.
So I think that there's just a part of the Democrat Party that has just accepted this soft anti-Semitism, just like they accept the soft racism of the left. Yeah, I think that's true. I mean, you know, again, reflecting on my age, this is not the party of John F. Kennedy, much less Harry Truman. And it's interesting, geek that I am, I've gone back, you know, I collect presidential memoirs and biographies and that sort of thing, and I have been dipping back into the memoirs of Harry Truman.
And he writes in there of recognizing the state of Israel, and I think it was 1948. And where did his opposition come from? The State Department. And he flat out says that they were anti-Semites in the State Department in 1948 and they objected to recognizing Israel. And I thought, wow, this has been around for a very long time inside the Democratic Party.
It's still here. I think it's gotten worse. Yeah, yeah, it really has. Since you're talking about your vast history on Earth, do you ever remember a time when a candidate has been the presidential nominee with, obviously, the same number of primary votes as I've gotten?
So I'm pretty proud of that. And two weeks in, and there's no platform. On her page, it talks about, you know, get to know the candidate and its little resume. But there's no platform. Are they going to try to run her with no platform?
I think it's possible. You know, I mean, one of the things that I think is going on here is, in all canon, I don't think they know what they're doing. This is not, you know, when I think of various presidential campaigns that I've either been in or have read about in history, on the Democratic side, the Kennedy campaign in 1960, or Hubert Humphrey in 1968, et cetera, not to mention various Republican nominations with Nixon a couple times and Reagan and all this kind of thing. I honestly think she's surrounded by people who don't know what they're doing. And so therefore they make easy to see mistakes.
And I think that's one of them right there. And the whole handling of Josh Shapiro is another one.
So you don't think that Barack Obama is making her choices for her? Because that's really what I thought was happening. Barack Obama's pulling the strings here. I mean, he's in his third term, right? He wants a fourth.
Right.
Well, I think he's trying and in some cases succeeding. But I think if he'd gotten his way, Joe Biden would have been a different nominee without question in my mind. but he doesn't quite have that pull anymore. He has a lot, and I think, frankly, he was running some of the Biden White House. But, you know, he's not as powerful as you might think.
Well, it's interesting because we know that whole thing is like an episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, what's going on there, because the Obamas don't like the Bidens, and the Bidens don't like Kamala Harris. And I think you're right. According to the New York Post, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer wanted a mini primary because they know Kamala Harris wouldn't have lasted. And they would have had Kelly would have been the nominee. Mark Kelly would have been the nominee.
And that's what they wanted. And Jill Biden, I'm sure it was Jill Biden, because Jill Biden is hanging on to the drapes in the White House. She ain't leaving. She does not want to go.
so she's so angry that this is happening that she's the one who told joe you're going to endorse kamala harris to blow up the whole plan as kind of like my last bit of control on my way out the door because of of what happened there when all of this is long gone we're going to find out what's been going on here uh inside the biden white house and i am convinced i often tell the tale of Woodrow Wilson, who in his second term as president goes off to Paris to negotiate the Treaty of Versailles ending World War I. He gets the League of Nations put in there. This was his idea. He comes back to America, finds out the League of Nations is not popular.
So he hops on a train with his wife and starts doing a cross-country tour to campaign for the League of Nations. They get to Boulder, Colorado at night. He's not feeling well. They stop the train, walk him around in a farmer's field, put him back on the train, put him to bed. The next morning, he's supposed to give a speech in Kansas City.
He gets up. His wife takes one look at him and says, you're not doing this. We're going back to Washington. They go back to Washington. He wakes up the next morning or two mornings later.
He's on the floor in the bathroom, unconscious, blood streaming from his head. He had a stroke.
Well, what happens? the doctor who was also a friend of theirs the white house physician does to mrs wilson under no circumstances let people come to him for decisions because it would kill him so what happens he makes the decisions so we have already had hillary thank you very much a woman president and her name was edith bowling galt wilson she was a divorcee when or a widow when woodrow wilson made her his second wife and she ran the ran the whole deal and you go back and read the stories from there it truly is amazing and i think we've got another edith wilson in the white house this moment and i don't think she wanted to let go of it i think she was making a lot of these decisions and uh you know we are where we are you know it's so fascinating so i i just love your your sense of history and and everything there's so many questions i want to ask you i didn't get to i i just we're gonna come up uh and we gotta run here we're running out of time but um you know talking to president trump he can flip the abortion argument now that waltz is on the the uh ticket because uh there are there are five or there's a history of 2019 and 2020 or 20 yeah 2022 um but But anyway, they have a history of live births, botched abortions, where they did not even try to save the babies in his state. That's how extreme their abortion laws are. And we're going to talk about that coming up here. But I think I think that that's something, in my humble opinion, what do I know, that President Trump can really exploit to his advantage?
Because that's extreme for a lot of people. And, you know, he's caught flack for bringing up the words of Governor Ralph Northam, the former Democratic governor of Virginia, who said some version of that. and they've been criticizing President Trump for saying this, well, now this is a whole lot more vivid than even what Governor Northam has said. Exactly. So buckle in for that.
Absolutely. We've got to run. Jeffrey Lord, always a pleasure to speak with you. Thank you so much for having the time with me today. Have a great week and a weekend.
Thank you. You too, Mary. Bye-bye. Thanks so much. Bye-bye.
All right, your call is 901-260-5926. Comment up on the Todd Starnes Show. But we can get out there, reach out, make the case. And for one thing, don't ever shy away from our progressive values. One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness.
Yeah.
That was Tim Walls on that White Dudes for Harris video. Thick cast that they did a Zoom, White Dudes for Harris. It was the biggest group of beta males I have ever seen in my entire life. It was nothing but a parade of soy boys and man buns. And has been washed up D-list actors.
Which, okay, not everybody has their career go forever. I get it. And that's fine. But if you're going to do something like that, at least try to, I don't know, take a shower before you get on there.
Some of them looked so bad. I was like, did this catch you by surprise? Did no one tell you that you were going to be on camera? They looked awful. Terrible.
Anyway, so that was Tim Walsh there. This is what I want to tell you very quickly. And coming up, we're going to talk about the allegations of stolen valor. In the summer of 22, Minnesota Governor Tim Walsh, his state health agency published required abortion statistics reports. Nobody really paid attention to it.
In his state and on his watch, five infants were born alive in 2021 during failed abortions and not one was provided life-saving care. Two received comfort care. Comfort care. Three other infants were born alive during botched abortions in 2019.
Now, Minnesota was very rare in states to require these types of abortions to be publicly reported where the victim was born alive. and in 2023, Walls worked to shut that right down.
So they don't publish that anymore. And I'm sorry, I don't care if you support, you know, abortion, whatever your beliefs are. I don't understand how anyone can support this. I'm sorry, but if the baby is quote unquote born alive because they screwed up the abortion, I think you are obligated. I can't even imagine, I don't even know how to say, how are you not obligated to try to save that baby's life?
Now, some of them weren't viable. They were too young. I get it. But comfort care? Are you kidding me?
We're going to talk about this more and stolen valor, because that annoys me too, coming up next on the Todd Starn Show. And welcome back to the Todd Starn Show from the Liberty University studios. Wow. Let me tell you, I'm not saying that. I mean, I don't get anything out of this, but I'm just telling you, the pillows and the mattress topper, good stuff and great prices. Let's go very quickly back, and we're going to go to the phones to Governor Walz and this abortion thing. Five deaths in 2021.
One instance of fetal anomalies were reported, resulting in death shortly after delivery. no measures were taken to preserve life, and the infant did not survive. In two instances, comfort care measures were provided as planned, and the infant did not survive. Comfort care, that means that they just kept it warm or whatever, but they didn't go to any lengths to preserve the life of the child. That's what comfort care is.
I'm sorry, but people do more for their pets than what is happening here. This is outrageous. in two instances the infant was pre-viable meaning it was too young no measures were taken to preserve life and the infant did not survive uh 2019 three deaths in one instance fetal anomalies were reported residual cardiac activity was present at two minutes care of the fetus was reached transferred to the second medical doctor i'm sorry it is outside the mother it is a baby stop it, stop it. No measures were taken to preserve life and the infant did not survive. I'm sorry, what?
In one instance, comfort care measures were provided and the infant did not survive. In one instance, the infant was pre-viable. No measures were taken to preserve life. Gallup reported in 2023 that the majority of Americans oppose legal abortion. 55% oppose it.
In the second trimester and the third trimester, 70% of people oppose it. Imagine a baby born alive and you just give it comfort care and just let it die. Outrageous. In my mind, this is something. I don't like bringing up abortion.
I do believe it should be up to the states. I do believe that. But people have to know that it is happening. And Governor Walz, who is now the Democrat Party candidate for president, quietly removed the reporting requirements from those statistics that people don't know what is happening in his state. This is what we should be screaming about as conservatives.
This. I'm up for leaving it up to the people. states rights. I'm down with that.
However, in my book, this is murder. You can disagree with me, but I think that this is murder.
Alright, we got a lot of people here on the phones. Lots of people. Because everybody calls in the last half hour. I don't know why, but it's a fascinating phenomenon. Pastor John, listening here on KWAM, wants to talk about Waltz and his stolen valor.
John, welcome to the Todd Starn Show. Hi. Hey there, Ms. Walters. How you doing?
I'm doing good. How are you? Real good.
Well, I'm going to try to personal words. First, I owe Lydia an apology. I wasn't yelling at her. I was just really, really wound tight.
So I'm sorry to your call screener. I'm glad she didn't kick my butt.
Okay.
Well, she can, you know. She's good at that. I know. I know. Okay, first of all, my wife and I, my wife's name is Cindy and she's a Marine.
She runs the house. We're both combat veterans. The moment we heard that Kamala Harris appointed Governor Walz, all of a sudden, all these things came out from the veterans community. That this man is not only, he is a coward. The concept of stolen valor.
He said he retired as a command sergeant major, but he only retired as a master sergeant. The reason why, this is all over, this is over Breitbart, is that he was a conditional promotion. if he met all the requirements to be a command sergeant major. And one of those is to go with his men, 1st Battalion, 125th Artillery, and the Minnesota National Guard when they were getting ready to be deployed. He promised his men that he would be with them to the bitter end.
Well, guess what? When he found out that they got the warning order, he decided to retire. Yep. He let his men down. And if any of his men were killed because of his lack of leadership not being there for him, that's on him.
There's an open letter on Facebook by two sergeant majors saying that he deserted his men. And my wife and I both know I was a medic. My wife was a Marine Corps intelligence oxymoron. Just kidding. Anyhow, she'll kill me later.
But the point is, is that you do not desert those you are a leader over.
Okay.
And the idea of stolen valor, I completely agree with. I chaplain over 100 veterans. They're really ticked off. And if any veteran knows this, they're going to lose the veterans vote. And to me, honestly, you the main concept is you do not desert your men when they need you.
Men and women, your soldiers, sailors, Marines, airmen and Coastie is when they need you the most. And that's exactly what this governor did. I'm so glad you brought it up because I actually have the audio of an interview done with the man who took over for him, Thomas Behrens, who was a former member of Waltz's unit. And he is now a retired command sergeant major because he took over for Waltz when he beat Feet.
So I'm going to play that right now.
So I appreciate you bringing it in. Thank you for your service. And it does seem to be a thing on the left, doesn't it? Richard Blumenthal, the whole stolen valor thing. It seems Democrats are pretty good at that and they get away with it.
And I'm with you. We need to spread the word, which is why I wanted to do this here.
So thank you. I appreciate it. And I appreciate you and your wife very much. Have a great week. Let's start with Cut 6 here.
This is an interview with Thomas Behrens, as I said, a former member of Tim Walls' unit, now retired command sergeant major. And he did this with Alpha News because they're the only ones who were even interested enough to interview this guy and talk about what happened. Back in 2005, a warning order went out to the 1st Battalion 125th Field Artillery to mobilize for a mission to Iraq. At the time, Walls served as the unit's highest non-commissioned officer. But months later, Walls would retire from the Guard, avoid the deployment, and run for Congress.
Tom Behrens was next in line for the position and was asked to take his place. I was like, well, for Pete's sake, this guy quit. If I say I'm not going to do it, I mean, what the hell kind of leadership is that? If a company would say that we're going to deploy to Iraq or somewhere and you're going to be gone for whatever amount of time, and then a foreman just says, no, I'm not going. I mean, what does that say to the 500 people that work in that factory?
Yeah.
What does it say to them? Yeah, I'm not going. But you're the leader. You're the guy who's supposed to be leading us. Yeah, sorry, chow, you're on your own.
That doesn't make them feel safe. Let's go to cut seven. Here's more of this. And here's where the allegation of stolen valor comes in because he continued to use his rank. When he was a congressman, he bragged that he was a retired command sergeant major.
I'm the highest ranking person ever in the House and all this lie that he was telling. The state of Minnesota came out after 2018, after this was exposed, and they said, well, he can say that he served as a command sergeant major, but he can't say he's a retired one because he's not. And that's what he was saying. And he was saying that, and there was lots of cards coming in the mail for him to be elected. They said right on there he's a retired command sergeant major just tooting his own horn, just hanging on the coattails of people that actually are command sergeant majors that went through all the process and put all the time in.
A spokesperson for the Minnesota National Guard said Walls wasn't able to retire as a command sergeant major since he failed to complete coursework and requirements related to the rank. Yeah, so as she said, he never did the required coursework.
So, and his discharge documents were later amended to say that he retired with the rank of Master Sergeant, not Command Master Sergeant. But it's so interesting. They try it. They get away with it. They slide by until somebody calls them out.
This needs to be called out. If you're a vet, how do you feel about this? Lastly, cut eight. I think he sums it up right here. Stolen valor is really what it is.
I don't know of anybody else that's done what he's done. Yeah.
And so he spends all this time with the National Guard. And to be fair for Walsh, after September 11th, he joined the National Guard more than 40 years ago when he was 17 years old. Then he put in 20 years of service and he retired. And then after the September 11th attacks, he reenlisted.
So I have to give him credit for that, credit where credit is due. But despite all that time with the National Guard, when the riots happened in 2020, you know, the Summer of Love, the BLM riots, and they were ripping apart cities, and specifically Minneapolis, the mayor there was asking him for the National Guard. Could you please send in the National Guard? They're burning down the city. It took him three days to finally send the National Guard in.
And Walsh said in August of 2020, I don't think the mayor knew what he was asking for. I think the mayor said, I request the National Guard. This is great. We're going to have massively trained troops. No, you're going to have 19-year-olds who are cooks.
He dismissed the National Guard as 19-year-olds who are cooks. That's what he thinks of your service.
So, just saying. He also created a snitch line for neighbors to rat on each other during the COVID lockdowns, etc.
So the guy is just really an authoritarian. More coming up. Tim coming up in North Carolina. I will get to you next here on the Todd Starnes Show. Welcome to the Liberty University studios.
I'm Mary Walter in for Todd Starnes. Let's quickly get to the phone so we have some time here. Tim in North Carolina listening on WTKF. Tim, welcome to the Todd Starnes Show. Hi.
Mary, first of all, you are awesome. I'm so glad you're on the radio. Oh, thank you so much. I really appreciate that. If you ever get down towards Camp Lejeune, please let us know.
We'll take you out and get some fresh seafood right off the boat. Oh, wow. That's so... Be careful because I've been known to take people up on weird offers like that, so just be careful. I can take you out on a trip boat.
I've got an Airbnb. We'll take care of you. All right. Thank you. Hey, I'm out, like I said, outside of Camp Lejeune, and a lot of the military are pretty upset about the VP's pick for VP.
and then on top of that I am a very very proud foster and for her to say reproductive rights need to be guaranteed by the Constitution anybody can reproduce it is guaranteed by the Constitution she's trying to make it their right to murder babies and that should never be a right of anybody first of all I have such mad respect for you being a foster parent I just think that's wonderful I have adopt a lot of adopted family members in my family so it kind of hits home to me and I just have mad respect for that and and you probably also served in the military as well so you're a very giving person and that's amazing let me ask you about your friends in the military my hunch is that the the harris campaign if there was any thought put into this which who knows probably calculated that you know what military ain't voting for me anyway so who cares if i pick if i pick this guy because they're not gonna vote for me anyway so i'm not losing anybody absolutely correct um and yes you're correct i did um 20 years in military 10 deployments um got my honorable discharge and this this guy needs uh we call it a big chicken dinner He needs a dishonorable discharge for being a conscientious objector. Yeah, I'm very... But what bothers me more about all of this, not the fact that he did it. I get it. People do whatever they want to do to get reelected.
But the fact that there is never any repercussions for it. He knows he's going to get away with it. The media, the mainstream media, the state-run media, will allow him to get away with it because he has a D after his name. and that's where it gets to me and the fact that they don't care about the military I mean we know they don't they can say whatever they want but we know they don't and it just goes on and on and they get away with it and it's just absolutely maddening we gotta run thank you so much for joining me thank you for your service and thank you for being a foster family that is so necessary and I just absolutely love it thank you very quickly I just have a quick list of Tim Waltz's most I guess most far-left policies, according to Breitbart. He increased taxes by adding a 1% surtax on net investment income above a million dollars.
People are, well, that's great. I don't have a million dollars. Yeah, but maybe people who pay your salary do. He made about 81,000 illegal immigrants eligible for driver's licenses. And we know sometimes all you need is a driver's license to register to vote.
He approved taxpayer funding for free college tuition for illegal migrants.
So, yeah, out-of-state people don't get it, but in-state do. He designed a 20-week taxpayer-paid family and medical leave program. He ordered that utilities generate 80% carbon-free electricity by 2030. These are all decrees.
Sounds like authoritarian to me, a little fascist-y. Using taxpayer funds to subsidize a mandate requiring electric vehicle charging stations with newly constructed buildings. Wouldn't that be great if you could just gas up at work? That'd be awesome. Stripping abortion laws, essentially allowing no limits, no age consideration for minors.
And as we know, baby can be born alive and you don't have to give it any kind of care. Just make it comfortable if you want to. Otherwise, you know, just put it on the side. It'll die. Ordering that Minnesota be a trans refuge.
He stripped election integrity laws by enacting automatic voter registration and a permanent absentee ballot program. Flood it with ballots.
Some of them may be marked off.
Some of them may not, in my humble opinion. Signing a bill to require schools to stock period products in boys' bathrooms, which is why they're calling them Tampon Tim. I just want to know, where do they put them? Right? Where do they put them?
I think it's a valid question. And lastly, failing to allegedly anticipate and react to the riots in Minneapolis after the death of George Floyd. Also, as I said, he locked down the state aggressively for COVID. He put COVID-positive patients in nursing homes. He's one of those governors.
And he had established a hotline so you could rat on your neighbor if they had company. If they had company illegally. You could rat your neighbor out like Hitler put in place, like a Soviet state. Also, more than $400 million in taxpayer dollars were fraudulently paid out as unemployment benefits during the pandemic. he lied about his 1995 drunk driving arrest and there was actually federal prosecutors charged 70 people with defrauding federal food programs that funded meals for kids during the pandemic at a $250 million on Waltz's watch all gone so spread the word, tell your friends about this they gotta know who this guy is because the media is not going to do it, now Todd Starnes will so you stay tuned right here and you will have everything, all the ammo you need to educate your liberal friends.
I'm Mary Walter. Thank you so much for letting me join you. Don't forget to follow me on X at Mary Walter Radio and check out my podcast under the same name. Have a great day.
