Kamala Picks a Radical Leftist Just Like Herself

Todd's got a couple of days of R R and I hope he's listening to those of us who said go, R and R. Not read and write. Oh, I don't work. Rest and relax. Kamala Harris has picked her fellow leftist radical Tim Walls as her running mate.

Now, the The interesting thing about it, and and let's be honest here, As we broadcast from the Liberty University studios, let us be as painfully honest as is humanly possible. Tim Walls was picked Because he's not Jewish. I don't know exactly what's come from the Democrat Party, what it has become, where it. Went this way, how it's morphed. But I'm gonna tell you something.

People talk about the Hamas wing. Of the Democrat Party. There's no longer a Hamas wing of the Democrat Party, the whole damn party. Is in step with Hamas thanks to Kamala Harris.

Now I sit here, As Jewish guy. And I must let you know, I grew up in the city of Philadelphia, Oxford Circle, working-class blue-collar neighborhood. We were all Democrats. Why were we Democrats? Because we were working constantly.

class. And at that time, gosh, the Democrats were all about working people. That was it. Simple as that. We were what were called Scoop Jackson Democrats, lunch bucket Democrats.

We In that neighborhood, worked for a living. Guys got up. And it was overwhelmingly guys because it was one of those neighborhoods where the husbands, oh, that's the other thing: the vast majority of people were married, raising children. We had one divorced woman on our block. And that happened while I was growing up, and she got divorced.

And let me tell you, it was the talk with the neighborhood: oh my gosh, this was a scandal. Yeah. But I digress.

So the guys got up and went to work.

Some of them got up in the morning, some of them got up and went to work in the afternoon, some of them worked the overnight shift, but they all went out to work. And what defined people in our neighborhood, the men in particular, yeah, the men, let's talk, let's be honest, they were the men that went to work. They would come home and take showers. They didn't take showers before they went to work. And it wasn't because they didn't care about their co-workers, it's that they were going to build something or make something, they were going to get dirty at work.

So they would take showers when they came home from work. And we had been told, we had been indoctrinated, really. that Democrats were the people who cared about us because we were working people. Hmm. Hmm.

Now that being said We were told the Republicans were only concerned with people who belonged to country clubs, and we didn't belong to country clubs.

So that was it. We we knew all we needed to know. Fast forward a couple of decades. The Democrat Party is firmly in the pocket of The wealthiest of the wealthy. These are the.

Multinational billionaires These are the Klaus Schwabs, the World Economic Forum types, you know, the guys who told us that we would own nothing. And we'd be happy about it. That's where the Democrats are today. And they stand with Hamas. I am getting ready.

In thirteen days No, 12 days. I apologize. 12 days I am supposed to depart for Israel. I don't know if I'm going to get over there. Because the airlines are beginning to cancel flights weeks ahead of time because of the danger in Israel.

I was selected to go on a mission trip. to Israel. I've never been on a mission trip. And I'm I'm fifty some odd years old. I've never been on a mission trip.

I've had friends throughout the years, countless friends, who have told me about how they went on mission trips. I didn't fully understand what they were saying.

Well, what does that mean? You're going somewhere, so it's like a vacation? No, it's not a vacation. We're on a mission to help. Oh.

Okay, well, yeah, it sounds interesting.

So I was selected to go on this mission trip to Israel. And our job As part of the mission trip, Was to visit the sites, including that Nova Music Festival site, to see where all this happened. to talk with the people who survived. to talk with families who still have family members being held hostage by Hamas, to speak with friends and neighbors and families of people who were murdered on october the seventh, To volunteer some time helping out with some of the mental health issues. And now If I do get there.

I'm going to have to explain. To Israelis, how One of the two major parties in the United States is now standing with Hamas. Tim Walls is a radical leftist. He is So far to the left. That Bernie Sanders Is the one who was whispering in Kamala Harris's ear, saying he's the guy.

You can pick any issue at all, and you will find Tim Walls firmly. to the left of everyone. He's the guy who oversaw the burning of Minneapolis. He's the one who has attacked law enforcement every single opportunity that he's had. He endorses and supports every part of socialism that has failed around the world.

And as we're in the midst of what could be an economic collapse, Thanks to Kamalanomics. Tim Walls will continue to support every one of these batcrap crazy ideas. But here's the most important reason. The biggest trait, the most important trait for the Democrat Party in 2024, unlike Josh Shapiro. Tim Walls?

is not Jewish. Let this percolate for just a moment. Pennsylvania has Eighteen electoral votes. And Pennsylvania is by all accounts considered to be a quote swing state. It could go either way, depending on who it is or what it is that comes to the forefront of the voters as they're casting their ballot.

If you are Kamala Harris, And you are not tied to the Hamas wing? You look at Josh Shapiro. Who, by Democrat Party standards. is considered to be a moderate. But He's also a rather popular politician in Pennsylvania.

And if Pennsylvania is up for grabs and it's all going to come down to a handful of states, and you need to collect as many electoral votes as you can. Why on earth would you not pick Josh Shapiro and the potential for 18 electoral votes? in Pennsylvania Instead choosing Tim Walls the Governor of Minnesota, which is not in play. There's nobody that thinks that Minnesota is going for Donald Trump. Minnesota, by all accounts, is solidly blue.

It's solidly going for Kamala Harris. And even if it were up for grabs, it has a mere 10 electoral. Votes. Does it make sense to anyone? on any level.

Only one The only level upon which this makes sense Is the level that says the Democrat Party? Does not want A Jew anywhere near. The top of the ticket. There's no other way to read this. I wish I could give you a better explanation.

I really do. But there is none. And so sometimes you simply have to look at the situation. You have to tell the truth, no matter how brutal it is, no matter how ugly it is. no matter how painful it is.

Well, I listen. I am not going to go along with everyone who is claiming that it's all over economically. Here's what I have learned over the years. And this is not excusing the fact that kamalonomics. Kamala Harris and Joe Byte and that team have brought us to where we are.

But. You do need to look at percentages as opposed to the flashier numbers. You hear the Dow is down, okay, a thousand points. That's a lot. And he started saying, Wait a minute, wasn't the Dow at forty thousand?

Yeah. So the Dow losing a thousand points when it's at forty thousand is very different than the Dow losing a thousand points when it's I don't know at a thousand points. You see where I'm going with this? You do have to put it in Perspective. And I don't know about you.

I found out quite some time ago I'm not the guy to handle this stuff for me personally. I'm not. Because I unfortunately, for the economics of it, I think I would act and react. Emotionally.

So I actually did what I I've told people to do for years, even though they didn't take my own advice. I got an actual professional financial guy. That's all they do.

So I'm not happy about this. None of us should be happy about it, and all of us should be very honest. You don't have to just point your fingers because you know exactly where those fingers go. This is Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. They broke this economy.

Donald Trump left them. With with with everything. Even with all of the COVID nonsense that was going on, Donald Trump was able to secure this nation on an international stage? And certainly on the economic front. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, because they are just left wing well, not even left wing.

I I can't even use the term left wing. They are just socialists. We've got to be honest here, and that includes me.

Socialists. Outright Socialists Who apparently not only hate Israel. But seem to have a certain degree of contempt for you and me, you know, the American people. Gets clearer every day. Do you want to fix this?

I don't know how far away from retirement you are. If you're 64 years old and you were thinking you were retiring at 65, you might be looking at this going, man, I'm. I'm totally out of luck. There's no way that can happen. If you are 55, you're thinking, okay, well, I got time to make this up.

If you're 25, you may be looking at going pfff. I'm not even thinking about that.

Okay, I mean, you've got to put it in your personal perspective. It's the only way that you can make heads or tails of any of this. I understand. But for those of us who are venturing closer and closer to retirement, And I'm certainly not ready to retire today. But I'd like to think it's gonna happen at some point.

I'm very concerned by where we are economically. There's no doubt about that. None whatsoever. We've got to write the ship. If you think that the Solution To the problem of our economy is to be found with Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz.

Then I'm here to tell you that you're nuts. You have an opportunity and I have an opportunity. And the re-election of President Donald John Trump is the only way. To write this ship, we've got to do it. It's got to be done.

We've got a lot that we need to deal with here. Let me share a couple of other pieces. Pieces with you. Look, I know I've provided a lot of my own thoughts. And that's because this hits me So close to home.

There's so many parts of this that.

Well, they're kind of painful, and it sounds a little weird. I know, and I don't mean to be over-the-top and too mushy and all the rest of it, but. When the message is sent. to American Jews that the Democratic Party simply has no room for ye any more. I I I worry.

I worry. I sit here as An American Jew, a Jewish American, I dunno, whichever way it's supposed to go. When you however you put those words in order And I know that Israel has been kicked to the curb. I know that some of Israel's best friends are evangelical Christians. I've seen that for decades now.

And I see this active anti-Israel sentiment within. This White House And I've just been reminded that the Democrats do not want.

Well, they don't want Israel. Let me give you a little piece. We've got cut number two.

Now, this is one of the folks over on ABC, and she almost kind of tells the truth. Cut number two. Harris looking for a VP she can trust and crucially can help her win. Shapiro emerging as a favorite with Pennsylvania a must win for both campaigns. But his views prompting concern among some on the left, including Arab Americans and Union leaders.

Mm. Interesting. Union leaders. Who were the union leaders who objected? I didn't hear any union leaders objecting to Josh Shapiro.

Arab Americans. Were they Arab Americans? Or were they people who were actively against Israel and actively anti-Semitic?

Now, the reason I mention that is that as I am scheduled to depart for Israel in just 12 days, some of our meetings are going to be with. Arabs who very happily live in Israel. This is what always gets missed with the legacy news media hacks. They always ignore this part. That There is a rather sizable Arab population in Israel that would not think of living anywhere else in the Middle East.

Because they have freedom and liberty? And they're not interested in the terrorists, they're not interested in Hamas.

So I do have to wonder why. We're seeing this support coming from Kamala Harris, and now this Tim Walls. I guarantee you will hit the road running with all of the same stuff. We've got to talk not just about the economic situation, which seems to be getting uglier and uglier and uglier, but also about the fact that we have an entire generation right now. Which does not read, it does not write, it does not understand any sort of math. I'm based at Todd's affiliate in Virginia, News Radio WRVA in Richmond, Virginia.

In Richmond, Virginia, we had a what we call the SOL, the standard of learning test, not too long ago, last year in fact. And you know what it showed? Not a single solitary seventh grader in the entire city of Richmond Understood math. At a seventh grade level. None of them actually hit the grade level.

For math. Zero. in the entire city of Richmond.

Now the city of Chicago is is larger. by far, but Disturbing piece of information out of Chicago, and Dr. Dave Brad's going to talk about this. Only one. In six third graders in the city of Chicago can actually read at a third grade level.

Now what does that say to you? Says to me that we have younger people who cannot read, they cannot write, and they cannot count. We are failing that.

Well, I don't know. Let me rephrase that. Maybe not we. They are being failed miserably. And they are located, in these two examples, in far-left Democrat Party-operated cities.

There's not a chance on God's green earth that there would be a Republican elected as mayor in the city of Chicago or the city of Richmond. They have been solidly in Democrat party hands for a hundred years. How are you going to blame those mean, nasty, evil Republicans? How are you going to blame the conservatives? With the economic situation.

Playing out, and we're seeing it right in front of us, right? The stock markets are down, all these indices are down. The Nikkei over in Japan lost 12% of its value. That's a big number. And it was all as a result, I'm told, of these terrible job numbers on Friday here in the United States.

Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have overseen an economy that has cratered.

Well, they haven't overseen it. They've pushed it right into the damn ditch, is what they've done. They've cratered the economy. The job numbers on Friday are absolutely, positively appalling and disgusting. Joe Biden just last week told us That he had fixed the economy.

In fact, I've got a little snippet of that. It's a real fast one. Cut number eight, please. Yeah, sure of the economy. Yeah.

And it's the other small things. I cured the economy, that's what he said. How do you want to be remembered, Joe?

Well, ice cream? Fuzzy slippers? Terry cloth bathrobe, wandering around aimlessly, walking onto an airplane. You may saw this the other day, right? He walked onto an airplane after those folks were exchanged, that prisoner swap.

He walked onto the empty airplane. I don't know if he had to do number one or number two, but he walked onto the empty airplane. And there's Kamala Harris. I think it was her turn to watch. Joe Biden.

And and she she she well, she didn't get the job done. She did not get the job done. And so now the question becomes. I thought you fixed the economy, Joe. I mean, he's been telling us that.

Kamala Harris said the economy is great. You know the only one who said. That this was going in a wrong direction was Donald Trump four years ago. Four years ago, Donald Trump pointed out That Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had exactly the wrong policies. To make the economy work.

Cut number nine. And you know what? I'm not so far away from that again, believe it or not. But if Biden gets in, the market will crash. Yep, there you go.

Let me tell you what this is really a result of. Is it the poor economic numbers, the poor jobs numbers? Yes, that's absolutely part of it. But it is The world of business, its job creators. Looking at the American economy and saying, okay.

These two nitwits have destroyed it over the last four years. People Can't afford to buy homes. People are having trouble buying gasoline and groceries. They could they could write the ship. But what happens if they don't?

What happens if they don't. That's what this is. These are people reacting to the possibility of four more years. Of the same abominable, grossly incompetent. Economic policy coming from the White House.

That's what it is. That's exactly what it is.

Now, you and I have the opportunity to change that. I am hoping against hope that you and I will make the right choice. And I know there's still people, I don't like some of Donald Trump's mean tweets. Get over it. Seriously, get over it.

Well, you know, eight years ago he said this, and five years, I don't care. I no longer care. There was a time when I would actually listen to that, try and understand it. I'd try to be more sensitive. That's done.

It's done because I look at our country today. And I know that my boys don't have a chance. They don't have a chance. If Kamala Harris is in the White House. Simple as that, period.

End of story.

So I'd like them to have a chance. Maybe I'm selfish. but I would like them to have a chance. And that's why I am Very proudly. Very happily.

gonna vote for President Trump. I mean, I have my President Trump sign in the yard. I've got another sign for a friend of mine who's poised to become my next congressman, John McGuire. John McGuire, a Navy SEAL. Served as a state delegate here in Virginia, state senator, and now he is uh he's poised to become a congressman.

He's been on board with Donald Trump since day one.

So I'm I'm voting for the future. In all in all candor, In many ways, I'm voting for a future I'll probably never see. Hey, I would like to retire. That's for sure. I'd like to have money.

I'd like to live and do things and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But that's short term. Right? I I'm not going to be here in fifty years. It would be amazing if I were, but I'm not.

I I got to be honest with myself.

So, why should I be concerned with what's going to be going on in 50 years?

Well, God willing. My kids are going to be around in fifty years. and I would, like them, to have a chance. My opinion. That's why you got to vote for Donald Trump.

Now, the problem. The problem is I know Todd. And I've I've known Todd for, I don't know, 20 some odd years, and I know, even though he said he was going to rest and relax, you know. Bet you he's uh he's working. I would be willing to bet every nickel that you have in your pocket, but uh hopefully, uh, in between all of that, he will actually take a moment or two and uh relax a little bit, just kick back.

Uh, We've got a lot of news that we have to analyze, a lot of things that we have to discuss. I wish some of it were happier. I really do. I wish there were a day where I could just come on here and go, you know, worst problem that any of us are going to have today is figuring out if we've got orange juice in the fridge. That's it, right?

Or did the milk expire? Oh, man, I got to run to the store and get another carton of milk. But we do have big issues. I mean, major issues that you and I are dealing with. The vast majority of us are dealing with what has been termed Bidenflation.

But let's give the credit where it goes. I mean, we can start talking about kamalonomics. This is a team. That's what they've told us for four years, right? Kamala Harris has been right there making all the decisions.

There's a photo that was released. Gosh, it is, again, a painful photo to look at. But it's the situation room at the White House. It's Joe Biden and his gang of grifters sitting around the table in the situation room. And just off his right hand, you know, as his right hand woman, is Kamala Harris.

Couple of things about that. Number one, Take a look around the table and Besides the human beings, what do you see? You see name plates. The folks sitting around that situation room table are, in theory, the closest and most important people. to the President of the United States.

There should not be any need for nameplates. Why are they there? Because Joe Biden. Doesn't know who the hell they are. Take a look at other photos with other presidents.

I saw a collection of them earlier today. Photos with Barack Obama in the situation room. Donald Trump in the situation room. George W. Bush in the situation room, Bill Clinton in the situation room, George H.

W. Bush in the situation room. None of them. None of them needed nameplates. for the other people at the table, but Joe Biden does.

Joe Biden needs the nameplates because he is in such a state of mental decline. He literally doesn't know who's sitting around the table. Talking to him, There's something else that's interesting about that. Kamala Harris was dismissed from the Situation Room meeting. In other words, she was only there for the photo op.

She was there to get her photo taken. And then she was told, okay, go ahead, you can leave now because you're busy running for president.

So go on, you get out of here, go do something more important. We could very well be perched On the edge of World War three We could be in a situation where we are about to see a massive. Economic disaster. And the President of the United States, or at least the guy we're told is the President of the United States, literally does not know. who's sitting at a table with him, And the Vice President, who has at the very best spent four years covering up what a terrible decline the President has had cognitively, mentally, She doesn't even stick around for the whole meeting.

Oh, yeah. It is the Todd Starring Show. Jeff Katz, happy to be sitting in for my dear friend Todd. We are broadcasting from the Liberty University studios, and just about a half hour from now. Another good friend of mine, Dr.

Dave Brad, is going to be with us. Dave is now the Senior Vice President at Liberty for Business Relations. We've known each other for years. And years and years. And I want to talk to him certainly about this big economic hit we're seeing right now.

Is it a quote market crash? But there's another part of the equation that we have to talk about, and that's It's young people who don't even understand the numbers here at uh News Radio WRBA, we broadcast from Richmond, Virginia. We're Todd's affiliate in Virginia. And I will tell you, just last year we had not a single seventh grader in the city of Richmond public schools who could do math at a seventh grade level. And Dave Bratt has some information here that is so disturbing out in Chicago.

Only one in six Chicago third graders can actually read at a third grade level.

So we'll be talking about that with Dave. in addition to all of that, I'm trying to figure out: is there really going to be a sentencing for former President Donald Trump and the 9-11 terrorists down there in Gitmo? Do they or do they not have a deal? I just can't make heads or tails out of it. I will tell you that the smartest lawyer on God's Green Earth, a former federal prosecutor, somebody who is so astute when it comes to analysis on political issues, national security issues, and obviously legal issues, is my friend Joe Moreno, and happy that he is joining us.

Joe, thank you for being here. Jeff, how are you, sir? I'm doing well, but I am a little bit confused about a few things, and so I'm hoping you'll be able to help me navigate them, all right? Absolutely. I'll do my best.

Let us start with the 9-11 terrorists down there in Gitmo. It's about, I don't know, a week ago we get this news that they had some sort of a deal. They would spend the rest of their lives or a pretty good chunk of it, as I understood, imprisoned by we, the people of the United States. And then the White House said, oh, we didn't really know anything about this. And then a day or so later, the Secretary of Defense comes out and revokes this.

A, what's going on? And B, where is it all headed? What does it mean? Jeff, the incompetence here is absolutely staggering. The Biden White House, they like to play this game where they say, we're going to delegate authority and we're going to be independent.

And so they did it with Jack Smith and the prosecutions of Donald Trump, and they did it with this. handling of the Guantanamo Bay terrorists.

So the White House says we're giving the authority to the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin. And then the Secretary of Defense, in turn, says, I'm going to give this authority to Susan Escalier, who is a retired Army one-star judge advocate, lawyer. I actually served with her myself. Very smart woman.

So General Ascalier spends two years. right, negotiating a deal with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and two other terrorists. wherein they would plead guilty The death penalty would be off the table And the only thing left would be that a panel of military officers would decide what their sentence would be. Right, whether it be twenty years, thirty years, life, that's it. Pretty streamlined.

Now people grumbled a little bit and said, Yeah, Maybe this is the best thing we can do.

Some people were upset, it wasn't justice. Others were said, okay. Uh then Forty-eight hours later. The Secretary of Defense says, never mind, I'm tearing up the deal, it's all off the table. And now we have to go to an actual trial.

So What the heck happened here, I have to think. The White House, even though they say this. isn't political. We're giving me Responsibility here to the Defense Department. My guess is.

Once word of this deal got out, it was so unpopular that The White House said, oh no, we can't do this. And they tore it up.

So now two years' worth of negotiations is out the window. General Scalier, I believe, is going to resign from the position. And what's going to happen now is it's going to take two more years and there'll be a trial. And you know what? it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to go the government's way.

So these guys could actually be found not guilty. Oh my gosh, now All right, so I know they've been at Gitmo and it's this whole military commission which is separate obviously from what what I would recognize as uh the American legal system. But now if it's going to be a trial, do they get transferred to the Southern District of New York? Are they coming to Washington? How how's that going to work?

Well, remember, the Obama administration tried that. They were going to transfer these guys to New York and try them in the Southern District of New York in federal court.

Okay. when there was broad realization that, wait a minute, we bring these guys stateside, all of a sudden they get a flood of due process rights. And we have concerns about classified evidence becoming public. The identities of classified operatives and locations becoming public, and they realize: wait a minute, we can't do this, we cannot apply. Civilian duty.

Due process legal rights that we afford to Americans to enemy combatants.

So they scrapped that.

So we wasted years there.

So I don't think they're going to try that again. I think what's going to happen is there will be a military commission, It'll be at Guantanamo Bay. It will be a military judge, a military jury, which they call a panel.

Okay. And it'll be very similar to a trial with some extra protections. that they wouldn't get here in the States. But again, there's no guarantee the prosecution is going to prevail. And it's going to give a soapbox to these terrorists to kind of be martyrs, right?

It's going to give them a a voice. It's going to give them attorneys.

So we're we're taking what was probably probably the best deal that this administration was going to get. We're scrapping it. We've wasted two more years, and now there's no telling where this goes. Jeez. Wow.

It's disturbing to say the least. But as you so correctly pointed out, man, it is incompetence to the nth degree. Joe Moreno is joining us. Joe is a former federal prosecutor, an absolutely brilliant attorney.

Now, let's turn our attention to President Trump. Is President Trump really going to be sentenced for that conviction in New York? Is that what I'm understanding? He really shouldn't be. But my guess is Judge Murchan in New York will charge forward and do it anyway.

So here's the situation, right? Donald Trump was found guilty a few months ago. I have said since the beginning, this case was absolute nonsense. But they charged ahead. Judge Murchan rubber stamped it.

and Trump was convicted. Then since then, the U. S. Supreme Court held that official acts of a president are immune And those acts can cannot be used as evidence. to try a president.

And so when you look at the New York case, which the Supreme Court precedent applies to, even though it's federal. Right. in that case was taken from the time Trump was president. things like conversations with hope hicks, Things like the actual checks here. wrote To rub to the his attorney.

Uh to reimburse him for the payments to Stormy Daniels. Tweets that Trump sent out while he was President. All of this was used as evidence. and therefore should be excluded and it should result in a mistrial. Where the best case scenario is that's thrown back to the prosecutors and they'll say, you can try this again, but you can't use all this evidence.

That's what should happen. My guess is Judge Murtan will Not do that. He will kind of play games. He'll say, no, I think the conviction should stand. And I think he's going to sentence Trump to something.

I think Frankly, they want the political embarrassment. It's right in the heart of the campaign. It'll generate headlines for days, if not a week. Um and it'll basically embarrass Trump. It'll be an interference with the election.

I have no reason to think that Judge Murchan will do the right thing. I have no doubt over time the conviction will be appealed. But the whole point of this was to embarrass Trump. And because all the other cases have fallen apart, this is really the only case left that the left has in their law fair campaign.

So my guess is they're going to make the most of it, and Judge Merchein will rubber stamp whatever Alvin Brad wants. Sh Is it then possible, Joe, that Judge Murchon imposes the sentence? And I. I mean, you would know better than I would. What is the sentencing guideline for something like this?

Well, it's a Class V felony, which means it's the lowest level felony in New York State. It's a nonviolent crime, obviously. It's a white collar offense. And Trump is a first-time offender.

So it really should be no jail sentence. And if there is one, it should be immediately suspended. pending appeal.

So Trump should not Spend even a single night in prison, even if Murchan imposes a jail sentence. That's how it should work. Frankly, I wouldn't put anything past them. This trial. The evidence that was allowed, that Murchan allowed, The legal theories that he entertained from District Attorney Bragg and his team.

Um the the Just one after the other, this was so abusive. There's at least half a dozen reasons this case should be thrown out on appeal. Right. So when it comes to sentencing, I mean jail is one possibility, an ankle bracelet, restriction to New York State, having to meet with probation officers. There's all kinds of games he could play to try to keep Trump off the campaign trail.

to try to emeliate him? to try to get this back in the news. Yeah. So you know look again. possible Merkshon does the right thing and says, you know what, I'm going to respect the Supreme Court's ruling.

Call me skeptical, but I don't think you will. Yeah, I'm with you on that one, Joe. I think, as you pointed out, this is the lawfare operation, and they want every single solitary thing they can get. And for them, the victory is going to be a photo of the Department of Correction, you know, taking him somewhere or him walking into or out of Rikers Island. That's going to be their photo since they, I think, have written the script for themselves that Kamala Harris somehow is this brilliant prosecutor with a legacy of prosecutions, and Donald Trump is a convicted felon, and that'll be their message.

I certainly wouldn't bet on any of it, but boy, I don't feel good about any of it either. The Japanese market, I just read down twelve percent. That seems like a pretty big number. Is it all related to the jobs report of this past Friday? I don't know. We're going to try and make heads or tails of that.

And some very disturbing information. about what we are or are not doing for our children.

Now, I mentioned earlier that I'm here at News Radio WRVA Central Virginia. We are very, very happy to be Todd's affiliate in Virginia. In the city of Richmond last year, the Richmond Public Schools found that not a single solitary member of the seventh grade classes in the city of Richmond could do math at a seventh grade level.

Now there's a statistic out of the city of Chicago that says only one in six third graders in Chicago can actually read. At a third grade level, it is absolutely, positively an embarrassment. We've got to do something about it. Dr. Dave Bratt is the Senior Vice President at Liberty University for Business Relations.

He's joining us on the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line. Dave, thank you for being here. Yay, Jeff, yes. I've been following that education outcome as well, and it makes me very sad for the next generation of kids, especially the poor kids growing up in the big cities. I want us to talk a little bit about that, Dave.

And obviously, we're going to talk about what's going on in the economy, but let's talk about those kids first because you have spent your life trying your best to educate young people, teach them about every issue that's important. You rise to the highest levels in academia. How is it possible that not a single seventh grader in the city of Richmond can do math at that level, and only one in six kids in Chicago can read? What the heck is happening? Yeah.

Well, you know, my my serious Answer to all of this is the decline of the Judeo-Christian West and the churches and the synagogues. And we used to shoot for what was called the City on the Hill, right? And so now. The left and the Marxists and the drag queen people in the public schools and the public libraries. Have torn apart the school system, right?

It's all run by teachers' unions. There's a lot of great teachers out there, right, that are doing God's work, but they're trapped in systems. that are producing the results. Those are the results, right? One in six kids Poor kids in Chicago.

Can read at the grade level in third grade. That means they can't go on, right? And yet they get passed on to fourth, fifth, sixth, twelfth. grades and they can't read. Yep.

And so they're doomed, right? They're just doomed. And of course, that's tied to the economy, and that's why I follow it. Because human capital is one-third of the economy, one-third of economic growth. It's human capital.

And those kids. Are all made in the image of God. And so the church used to be responsible for this kind of stuff, right? You didn't need public schools and whatever. You could do this within your communities and your families and et cetera.

That's right. And now for some reason the wheels have fallen off and we've left all the work to these institutions that are failing. And so there's no easy answer, but I just, you know, the. You can complain about the left ruining the education, but the conservatives have not done a good job of building it up.

So every every city. should bu take up a literacy initiative. The CEOs They all say they want a good workforce, but they won't do the basics To have that good workforce, which is teaching third graders how to read. Get your entire corporation into those public schools. Just shoot volunteers in left and right, make friends with those kids.

And let's have a national Transformation.

So, what's wrong with our side? Because you point out, we know that the left, for the most part, Now, at the direction of the teachers' unions, they seem to have a vested interest in not having children know about history or understand the workings of the economy, and they certainly don't want them understanding this Judeo-Christian underpinning that says some things are right and some things are wrong, and that's just always the way it's going to be. But our side, Dave, you and I are decent people. We're conservatives. We're men of faith.

Why haven't we done more? Why are those business execs who in theory at least are on our side, why the heck aren't they going into those schools? Yeah. Well, I mean uh part of it is because Republicans do go to work every day. Right, and then you come home to your kids and you're fried.

And then you you we're paying, you know, eighteen thousand a year per kid. To learn, so you say, Well, I'm paying taxes out to wazoo. Local and state cover most all of it, 90% of it's local and state taxes. And the Feds throw in ten percent and you have local control, so there's no good excuse, but you know conservatives kind of just throw up their hands and say, well, Yeah, it it's too bad. But well you know, th th I shouldn't be all pessimistic because, you know, Mom's for Liberty and all these great groups are rising up now, right?

And they're taking over school boards and county boards. And so. You know, some people are starting to take charge, uh, but it's very hard to turn these, you know, bureaucracies. Around, Eric Hanusek, Chicago is the head of economics of education. And when you're 70 years old, he's at the end of his profession, you know, and he gets to do the simple chart.

And the simple chart shows. spending going up to the moon. And then there's five flat lines down at the bottom that haven't budged, and those are student test scores. And then there's one line in the middle going up as well, and that's The number of bureaucrats hired, not teachers. But the number of bureaucrats that train your kids into all the latest HIP ideologies that you're paying for.

And so people that work hard and pay taxes, they ought to be complaining and saying, get this out of my school. Yep. Great points there. Dr. Dave Brandt joining us.

Dave is the senior vice president at Liberty University for Business Relations. He's here talking all on his own, talking about a number of issues. Dave, you are an economist by training. You spent so many years in the world of economics. You were the dean of the business school there at Liberty University.

Am I witnessing the end of the economic world, or is this a blip, or is it something else? No, it's pretty significant. We've been talking about it for two or three years, just no one knows when the timing would hit. But in 07, 08, everybody said everything's fine. Ben Bernanke, the head of the Federal Reserve, said I've never seen such strong real estate markets.

And then the next day it it was like a nuclear bomb went off, right? And we had global economic catastrophe. and everybody knew it. All the statistics, the inverted yield curve, Today, you've got the Nobel laureate in finance. Uh Schiller from Yale, his index shows that the PE ratio, the price to earnings ratio.

is way overvalued. Stocks are still way too high, priced way too high. They have more to fall, probably another twenty percent. Go out and Google the Warren Buffett Index. You'll find the same thing.

His index shows his index is fifty-nine percent over the long run historic trend. Of the stock market, meaning again, stock prices are too high. Why are they too high? Because the Federal Reserve printed $9 trillion in money. and the federal government is running two trillion dollar deficits.

So there's still money swirling around out there. There's still cash on the side. Uh but you saw hiccups over in Asia, the uh the Japanese uh Currency market had a hiccup, and then that had implications across the board. And Bank of America had a note. Warren Buffett is selling off some key stocks.

The head of JP Morgan, Jamie Diamond is selling awesome keystock. And so, yeah, no, this is This is the result of everything we talked about of productivity being down 70 years in a row. And CBO has it going down thirty more years in a row. You can't have a stock market going up when your productivity is going down, and that's the answer in a nutshell. The folks at Wells Fargo have I don't know if it's it's been officially released, but they are saying that they anticipate, and I need you to explain it to me, that the Federal Reserve's Open Market Committee Meeting on September the 18th and November 7th.

We'll have two. Cuts, one in each of those meetings, of 50 basis points. Explain that to all of us, please. Yes, well that fifty basis points is just a half of one percent.

So together, that's a one percent reduction in the interest rate, which is at about five percent right now. Right. So it'll come down to four. The markets want that. The interesting thing is.

The Japanese problem over there was linked to what's called a carry trade, which was. A bet Because they have negative interest rates, and so people were taking the cheap money over there, investing it in the 5% U.S. interest rate, and making money. But then that started falling apart. And now the Federal Reserve, if we reduce rates, that will exacerbate that carry trade.

And so this is why when this new populist thing called America First, Right, our Federal Reserve is propping up the rich guys again, right? They propped up the rich guys in 2007-08. No one went to jail after all that real estate lying, cheating and stealing. And now we got another giant bubble. The rich, the top 10%, own 90% of the stocks and bonds and pension funds.

And that's the story, right? And so with the American people. are letting this go out. The Fed uses language like, we're fixing this, we're coming in for a soft landing.

Well, good for you after you just ruined price stability, which is your main job. As the Federal Reserve, they're supposed to maintain price stability. The American people have just experienced anywhere from twenty percent to thirty percent inflation over the past four to seven years. That's right. That means your retirements account your retirement accounts have lost twenty percent to thirty percent.

And then you get hit with a stock market double whammy. And so it's really bad, and there's more coming. Jeez. Yeah. All right.

Yeah. How about them, Red Sox?

Okay. You know, here's the problem, Dave, and you and I have certainly chatted about this through the years. I want to remind everybody: Dave Brandt is joining us. Dave is now the senior vice president at Liberty University for Business Relations. He was the dean of the business school, member of Congress, world-class economist and college professor.

You and I are about the, I think, in fact, now that I think about it, I think we are the same age.

So at least in theory, in a couple of years, we could say thanks, I'm done, and retire. Or can we? I mean, should I just take that out of my calendar entirely at this point? Hmm. No.

Luckily, if the average death age is 80, we should be okay.

Okay. You know, the death is you know, if as long as we're looking forward to a, you know, an average death age and we don't live forever. But the kids are in deep trouble, right? The Social Security's got about another ten, twelve years at full pricing. And then they're going to have to start clipping the benefit.

And little by little by little, unless they reform it. and no one's got an appetite to cut spending or raise taxes And you know, the Democrats all voted for this two trillion dollar deficit stuff, and then the Republicans went along with it because they're too scared. to tell the American people the truth, that the Republicans at least don't want this. The Democrats want $2 trillion deficits and more on paper, right? I'm not making stuff up.

That's right. And go look at your member and see if they voted for that. If they voted for it, then okay, they're responsible for this. Stock market bomb that's blowing up right now. Oh, my gosh.

They. Yeah. And so, Todd's taking a couple of days off for his vacation, resting and relaxing. And if you know Todd at all, and you're listening, so you know Todd, I can guarantee you, knowing Todd for a couple of decades, as I do, Todd is working as we speak, even though he's on vacation. It's just the way it is.

Jeff Katz, happy to be sitting in for Todd, though, coming to you from the Liberty University studios. Former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is going to be joining us in a couple of moments. You know, he's the president now over at the Young Americas Foundation. I want him to explain to all of us exactly who this Tim Waltz character is, the governor of Minnesota. Why has Kamala Harris chosen the governor of Minnesota?

It makes absolutely, positively no sense. Unless You have come to the same conclusion that I have, which is that the Democrat Party in 2024. is doing everything it can to distance itself. From Israel. in general and the Jewish people.

I don't know that there's any other reason that makes Well, it that makes anything remotely resembling sense. Pennsylvania is considered to be a swing state. If Kamala Harris could lock up Pennsylvania and the eighteen Electoral College votes there, she would be a heck of a lot closer to becoming President of the United States. If she were to choose the very popular governor, of Pennsylvania as her running mate, that would bring her a step closer to winning Pennsylvania and their eighteen electoral college Votes. Minnesota is solidly Democrat.

Minnesota is going to go blue. Minnesota is going to vote for Kamala Harris. And they have ten electoral votes.

So, why would you pick? The Governor of Minnesota, the who brings you nothing Absolutely. Positively nothing. There was this talk.

Well, you know, it's the Midwest, Jeff. Really? Is Donald Trump in danger of winning Illinois? I don't think so. Kamala Harris has made it clear.

This in the age of 2024's Democrats is. We don't want a Jewish guy running for vice president. We don't want a Jewish guy that close to the top of the ticket. We don't want a Jewish guy. that close to the White House.

That's the message. And I can tell you that because I'm a Jewish guy. Because I've seen this. I'm not only a Jewish guy. I'm a guy who grew up in Philadelphia, working class, blue-collar, as a Democrat.

Well, there's a little bit of news we could chat about. A couple of things that are happening. This economic situation. Dr. Dave Bratt, my friend from Liberty.

Was with us and said, We're kind of at the beginning of this. We've been talking about it for a couple of years. This. reckoning, if you will. We're being told that the Fed is actually going to drop the interest rate over the next two open committee meetings by a total of one percent.

Seems like it's a reaction to this. You know, they had every opportunity to not have a quote emergency reaction.

So we'll continue to analyze that and. Vice President Kamala Harris has made her choice. Tim Waltz, the governor of Minnesota, who certainly by my analysis, what I've been able to see, is a far left winger's left winger. I mean, I don't see anything there that would speak to me, but Former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, now the president of Young America's Foundation, knows a thing or two about this, Wisconsin and Minnesota being neighbors and all. And he is joining us on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line.

Governor, welcome. Hey, good to be with you. Thanks for having me on. My absolute pleasure.

So I'm just going to lay it out there for you. Who is Tim Waltz? What does he believe in? Yeah, he's just a radical's radical, and he'll say just about anything. One of the he may end up getting one of the biggest political lies of all time when he kind of claimed that students were out of in-person learning for just a few days when he locked down like so many liberals did his state during COVID.

On the economy, he embraces a socialist radical agenda. Those are his words. You know, he claims what some people like him call socialism is good neighborliness, I think he called it. No, it's actually bad policy, as we see in places like Venezuela, even in Minneapolis, and a lot of our other big cities out there. He's somebody who's.

All for a sanctuary state status for Minneapolis. He called the border wall ridiculous. He gave driver's license to legal immigrants. When the city of uh when cities like Minneapolis were burning to the ground, uh he hesitated to deploy the National Guard. I mean, the irony is he's a guy who let the state burn down and at the Same breath, the person he's running with, Vice President Harris, actually tried to raise money to bail those rioters out of prison.

So, this is a left-winger's ticket. You thought Kamala Harris was to the left when she was picked the year before Newswitt Ranker to the left. Of Bernie Sanders, Tim Waltz might actually be further to the left than she even was. Unbelievable. And it is about the labeling.

You point out correctly. I mean, he is a hardcore socialist, but he says it's just being a good neighbor, you know, taking your stuff and giving it to other people. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? I sit here.

Well, the irony with that, just on that point, is a typical socialist, though. He says a good neighborly. No. Us conservatives are good neighbors. We actually take care of our neighbors.

He takes your money and gives it to everybody else. He doesn't take his money. That's right. That's exactly right. I sit here as a former police officer.

I was appalled at what I saw playing out in Minneapolis. And I saw this governor, goodness gracious, so willing to throw every segment of law enforcement under the bus. He hesitated. In calling out the National Guard, and he allowed Minneapolis to burn it. It's shameful.

It really is. And I mean, just think about that. The difference we saw across the country between leaders who said, no. Public safety is paramount. But this is just what we see out of Harris and Biden.

Over the past four years, and we'd see out of Harris and Waltz that we went forward. This is full scale. Prices will be higher. The border will no longer be secure, or no longer. It won't be secure.

It was headed that way under President Trump. It went the opposite way under Biden Harris. It'll get worse. It'll what remnants that are actually there will be a full scale invasion. And then public safety, as you mentioned, that's one of those where it'll go beyond just some of our biggest socialist-run big cities to the suburbs and the cities all across the country.

That's what happens when you don't put a premium on law in order. Exactly. Governor Scott Walker joining us, the president of a Young Americas Foundation. Governor Waltz also declared, as I understand it, Minnesota, the entire state to be a so-called sanctuary state. He said if Donald Trump really were able to build a border wall, then he would invest in the company to manufacture ladders for the illegals to use to climb over it.

Is this just a guy who hates America as you and I know it?

Well, and he's totally out of touch, even with his own state. I've said for years that when Fentanyl makes its way. up to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, which is not too far from the Twin Cities, just across the St. Croix River. When it makes its way up to Duluth, Minnesota, or anywhere else across the country, That's no longer a border crisis.

That's a national security crisis. And so this is just typical. Tim Waltz is one thing I'll give him credit for: he says what the left thinks. He says the less things. It's just they've been couching it and hiding it for too long along the way.

And President Biden himself, sadly, tragically, can barely say anything these days. But this is you know this is a good revelation. This is a good revealing a sense of transparency. If you really want to know as a voter what does Kamala Harris think, even if they're hiding it from saying it, go back and look at the things that Tim Waltz has said as governor. Sanctuary State being even even the mayor of New York's backing away from that place being a sanctuary city because they've seen the havoc it causes on its citizens.

Let me ask you about his choice as opposed to Josh Shapiro, the governor in Pennsylvania. And I analyze this through the prism. A Jewish guy, I grew up in Philadelphia. I grew up, I was told my whole life I was a Democrat because, you know, Democrats were blue-collar folks like us, and et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And now, fast forward a few decades, I'm sitting here and I say, okay, well, Pennsylvania has 18 electoral votes, and by all accounts, it's a swing state.

It could help Kamala Harris win the Electoral College. Minnesota is solidly Democrat and has 10 electoral votes. The only thing that speaks to me, and I'm just hoping I've read the entire thing wrong, but I don't think I have. The only thing that this messaging to me is: wow, the Democrats have hung out a sign that says Jews need not apply. Hands down, you even saw in the days leading up to this Governor Shapiro actually walking back Things he'd done in his past.

That showed support for Israel clearly has pushed back to say if you even want to be considered yet. This just shows you how radical. The Democrat Party is today in the sense that it wasn't that many years ago that support for Israel was pretty much across the board. There were a few fringe Democrats, but most mainstream Democrats We weren't that far away from Republicans when it came to support for Israel. And certainly nobody in elected office.

Unless you were at the real, real extremes, like a David Duke in the state legislature, you know, decades. But nobody else would be saying things that would even show any sort of anti-Semitic type viewpoint. Ironically, the left, the radical, the younger element, and I would stress it's just it's a minority of a minority, but still, it's enough to influence Who the nominee of one of the two major parties is picking? That is outrageous. The thing about this I didn't agree with Al Gore.

I didn't his policies are way out there. But the fact that he put Joe Lieberman and an Orthodox Jewish person on the ticket was a testament to how that shouldn't be a factor. And yet here we are decades later And it's an even bigger factor today than it was decades ago. This is just how radical the left has become. Yeah.

You know, my fear, and I don't know if you share this, but my fear, again, sitting here as a 50-something-year-old guy who is a proud American Jew, a Jewish-American, whichever way we put those words together, I fear that there are many within my group, within my faith, who are going to say, well, you know, I always vote Democrat and it doesn't matter. And this is just the biggest kick in the shins of anybody would really honestly pay attention to it. Oh, it just is unconscionable. For that matter, I just can't believe. Anybody in America who is Jewish would vote for this ticket or people who will defer to this kind of mindset out there.

It's just radical. And as you mentioned, Tim Waltz, I mean, maybe it's hopefully, optimistically, maybe it was more less about. uh Shapiro's face and more about just how radical Waltz is, but either way, it's bad for America. It's bad in both instances. It was just because Tim Waltz was a progressives' dream.

Well, that tells you just how bad this ticket would be. And and for anybody who thought four years ago they were voting for Joe Biden, whether it was the suburbs of Philadelphia, the suburbs of Milwaukee, the suburbs of Phoenix, They thought they were getting someone reasonable with Joe Biden that wouldn't be as... Would have a different tone than Donald Trump. They certainly should have buyers' remorse, and if they think they're getting anything bad over the next four years, they should wake up and realize it only gets worse. if the reason Waltz was put on the ticket was to shore up the progressive radical base.

It's absolutely outrageous. Governor Scott Walker, you are the president of Young America's Foundation, a marvelous group doing work across the country. You want to take a couple of moments here and do a shameless plug for YAF? Yeah. YAF.

org, if you're a student under attack, we've got your back. We go on campus, largest lecture series. We'll go to court and win. We have programs, whether it's at the Reagan Ranch in California or all across the country for college, high school and middle school students. And we're aggressive out there, not only standing up for American values, but particularly since october seventh, we've been standing up to defend Jewish students and stand with Israel and campuses across the country as well as all the other good work that we do.

So we're not going to back down. There's too much happening on our campuses. And we've had some wins. We just had a big win out in California against Clovis Community College. We're going to have another win soon against UCLA.

These folks cannot deny that the Constitution still runs paramount, even in California. And we're going to do what it takes all across the country to defend it. I love it.

From the FBI, Jimmy Galeano is going to join us in a couple of moments. Jimmy's done a deep dive into the Kamala Harris history vis-a-vis law enforcement. And to put it mildly, she does not like cops. And the selection of Tim Waltz, the governor of Minnesota, as her VP, sort of cements that. He's the one who let Minneapolis burn.

And it's just disgusting.

Now, I told you. That Todd was off for a couple of days. Many of us call that a vacation. Rest, relax. I also told you that knowing Todd, he'd be working.

So am I shocked at all that joining us on the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line is Todd Starnes himself. Todd, hello, my friends. Mr. Katz, the show is sounding great today. And, you know, it's hard to escape this crazy news cycle right now.

Oh, my gosh. Yeah, there are one or two things to chat about. That is for sure. What do you make of this Tim Waltz selection? Yeah, to borrow a phrase from the Democrats, it's kind of weird, right?

If you're a Democrat, you've got a choice between Tim Waltz and Josh Shapiro. It seems to me you're going with Shapiro, who's incredibly popular in the state in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The guy is also just adamantly pro-Israel, served as a volunteer in the Israeli Army, wrote essays when he was a college student some thirty years ago, where he talked about and really gave a brutal assessment of the Palestinian situation.

So that would have bolstered, I think, the concerns that many have that the Democrat Party hates Jews. Uh well this choice Looks to me like they've got a problem with Jews in the Democrat Party. That's what it looks like to me. I would tell you, my dear friend, you are absolutely correct. This is the equivalent of hanging up one of those signs that says Jews need not apply.

Well, it's interesting because Kamala Harris knew she's got a problem here. And ultimately, she had to make a decision, and she feared losing the Democrat Party's Death to America caucus. Yeah. It's you know, I'm only chu I'm chuckling, but you're absolutely correct. You know, we used to say there was a Hamas wing of the Democrats, but at this point, maybe the Democrats are just a wing of Hamas.

Yeah, you know, and again, you know, the it's just a it's just a strange, strange selection, especially with all the information coming out. This is a guy who was a radical leftist when it came to issues regarding transgenderism, not to mention the reports coming out that he abandoned his men in the military so we could run for Congress.

So that story coming out, I think the New York Post has a piece up on that today.

So there's this guy's coming to the party with a lot of baggage, and his wife and daughter are weird too, Jeff. The white talking about how she during the Minneapolis riots, She uh opened the windows of the governor's mansion so that she could smell the burning tires. Yeah, I'd say that's weird. Yeah. I mean, even the math, you know, eighteen electoral votes in a swing state in Pennsylvania versus ten in a state that, you know, is going to go blue.

I mean, there's a lot of trouble brewing on that side, and it it it's going to get uglier and uglier. And you're right, this piece about him abandoning his National Guard outfit, lying as well, according to some, about what his rank was. That's that stolen valor situation right there. It is. And again, it's been july twenty first.

We still have not seen Kamala Harris sit down for a single substantive interview with anyone in the media.

Well You and I both know why that is. Every time she speaks, we all think: geez, we're going to need bigger bowls for all of this word salad that she is spewing forth. I'll say this, Jeff Katz. She needs to start on Sesame Street with simple syllable sentences. And work our way up.

And and and, well, it's good for us. I still Would love for him to actually do some resting and relaxing, but what are you going to do?

So much that is going on, and you and I have got to make some sort of sense of it. And I. I can only make sense of this Tim Waltz pick by Kamala Harris in this in this way. It is a clear repudiation of Josh, she said. Faith.

You know, Joe Biden felt uh pushed to choose Kamala Harris to shore up support amongst the furthest left wackadoodles in his own party. Kamala Harris, being one of those uh furthest left wing wackadoodles, really shouldn't need to shore up support amongst her fellow far left wackadoodles.

So why would she choose someone like a Tim Waltz? I ask you to take a look at some of the math. And I know nobody said there was going to be math in this test, and I apologize, but it's just the truth. Josh Shapiro is a very popular governor of Pennsylvania.

Now, I wouldn't vote for him. I don't agree with him on any issues. Uh except that he had been a supporter of Israel. But he is a very popular. Popular politician in Pennsylvania.

And Pennsylvania has 18 electoral college votes. In Pennsylvania, according to all of the polling. is up for grabs. It's one of those states that could go either way.

So if you are Kamala Harris. And you received this uh Democrat Party coronation, what, two weeks ago? Please do remember she has never gotten a single solitary vote. in a primary or in a caucus. Because she dropped out before There were any primaries or caucuses or caucus or whatever the plural is back when she was in theory running for president.

Remember that? Dropped out.

So she's never actually gotten a single vote in a primary or caucus. And the party that tells us, oh, we have to defend democracy, engaged in what many have called a coup.

Now, it wasn't that all of a sudden they fell in love with our not ready for primetime vice president. They looked and said, Man, there's a boatload of money, but it's attached to this whole Biden Harris thing. And guess what? If we're going to use that money, it's got to be Biden or Harrison. If it's not going to be Biden, because we voted him off the island.

It's got to be Harris. We have no choice.

So they coalesced around her. And gave it to her. Sixteen solid days since she has delivered any sort of unscripted. Appearance with uh members of the media.

Now she did have one unscripted thing at Joint Base Andrews.

Now, if you remember the prisoner exchange, remember that? That was it, last week. Folks coming back? She was out there, and in a matter, I think it was not even 30 seconds long, she answered. She obviously wasn't supposed to, and she engaged in one of her.

word salad things. It was terrible. The only thing more embarrassing than that is that Joe Biden actually wandered off. I kid you not, Joe Biden wandered off and went into the empty airplane that had brought those prisoners back. And I don't know what Joe Biden had to do.

It was probably either number one or number two. But she even failed at that job. Her job, I think, at that point was just to hold hands with the nitwit and make sure he didn't wander away.

So she failed at that? But honestly, let's say you are her and you are actually legitimately playing to win. You want to win the election. And yet you believe in your causes and your issues, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Okay, so you want to win the election.

Now Minnesota is solidly blue. There's not a chance on God's green earth that Donald Trump is going to win Minnesota, right?

Okay. Pennsylvania, well, that's another story. Minnesota you already have with its ten electoral votes. Pennsylvania. Is in play, and they have eighteen electoral votes.

And with those eighteen electoral votes throughout the Commonwealth of. Pennsylvania? You have a very popular governor who has shot to the top of everyone's list, For vice president on the Democrat side, Josh Shapiro. But he has one thing against him. There's only one strike against Josh Shapiro.

for the twenty twenty four Democrats. He's Jewish. That's it. He can help you win. Eighteen electoral votes doesn't matter, he's Jewish.

He might be able to swing undecided in some place because he has been painted as a moderate. Doesn't matter. He's Jewish. I mean, that is really where we are right now. It is so sad.

It is such a disappointment that we're living in A day and age where we've kind of gone backwards. Al Gore Was not someone I supported. Gosh, I don't think I agreed with Al Gore on anything. But, remember Al Gore picked Joe Lieberman. to be his running mate.

And Joe Lieberman at the very beginning said, Hey, I can't help you out Friday evenings or Saturdays. I am an Orthodox Jew and I will not campaign during that time. And Al Gore, much to his credit, Said okay, that's fine. Here we are, a couple of decades later. And that very party The Democrats have essentially hung out a sign that said Jews need not apply.

Now I am supposed to be traveling to Israel. in twelve days. I say I'm supposed to be because I keep getting news reports and updates about flights being canceled or flights being delayed.

So I I don't know if it's actually going to come together. I was asked to go on a mission trip to help the people of Israel. Three hundred plus days since october seventh. thousand plus people slaughtered. People at a concert for peace, calling for peace with the people in Gaza, and the people in Gaza came across the border and slaughtered them.

So we are supposed to go to the site of the Nova Music Festival as well as the neighborhoods in and around Gaza. Various and sundry kibbutzes, kibbutzim. and we're uh supposed to be offering 'Cause it's a mission trip, help, right? We're going to help, I guess, rebuild some stuff and deal with some stuff. And many of us have backgrounds in mental health or counseling, coach coaching, things like that.

So we're going to be donating some time while we're there, services while we're there, to help with mental health concerns. And I don't know if I'm going to get to go. It might very well happen that the airline just says, that's it, we're canceling the flight. I was on the phone with them for more than an hour last night, and they said, Well, you know, your flight on that date is still Scheduled to go, but understand flights with a number of carriers have been canceled through August the ninth. I said, so August the 10th they might start flying it.

He said, Yeah, it it's possible. He said, but it all depends on the situation over there. And I don't know that the situation over there is going to be getting any better. I just don't know. But I am hoping against hope, I am certainly prayerful, that I will have the opportunity to engage in this trip, this mission trip, and head over there and help a little bit.

Especially.

Now with the Kamala Harris campaign, the Democrats turning their back on the Jewish governor of Pennsylvania. I've got a sneaking suspicion as I meet with some American expats and Israelis as well that they're going to ask me to explain that. How is it possible in the year twenty twenty four? for one of America's two major political parties. To say, sorry, we don't want the Jewish guy on the ticket.

'Cause that's what just happened. It's painful. It's ugly. A number of folks reached out to me when I said I'm going on a mission trip. They said, Well, how do we help?

I don't know. Haven't you ever done a mission trip before? The answer is no, I've never done a mission trip.

So people said to me, Oh, well, people like to help people who are going on mission trips. They like to donate to people who are going on mission trips so that you can kind of collect stuff and, you know, then help other people and then help defray the cost. I said, Oh, I had no idea. That's really pretty cool. That's very nice.

So I set up a Give, Send, Go. I didn't want to do GoFundMe. I've heard too many things about GoFundMe. But Give, Send, Go is one of those sites. It's all based around people of faith.

Just a solid, solid guy. And I'm happy to say he's joining us because he's been looking into the Kamala-Harris relationship. With law enforcement. Jimmy, thanks for being here, brother. Jeffrey, how are you?

It's good to join you on the Todd Starn show, man. I'm excited. We are thrilled to have you here. You're talking to people all across the country who need to know: hey, you know, like, who is Kamala Harris, really? And there are a lot of people taking pieces of that puzzle.

You have focused on law enforcement, so just tell me what they're thinking. What does she really think about cops?

Well, Jeff, I would say that it's a rather complicated in quotation marks relationship. And I think you can go all the way back to twenty fourteen. In twenty fourteen, a young African American teenager by the name of Michael Brown had committed a strong arm robbery And when he was stopped by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, he struggled with the police officer, tried to take his gun off of him, and ended up being fatally shot.

Now the Obama Department of Justice at the time, led by Eric Holder, conducted a full scale investigation into the Ferguson Police Department and into that shooting and determined it was a justifiable shooting. Jeff, our current Vice president and the new nominee for the Democrat Party for president this campaign in 2019. And if I do the math, that's five years later. Posted a memorial tweet referring to the murder of Michael Brown, one of those never-forget-type incidents. Knowing that this wasn't murder and knowing that this was just something to incite.

and something incendiary. That's number one. Number two, in 2019, an African-American actor by the name of Jesse Smollett, and I'm sure Todd Starn's listeners and you well know who he is, the infamous. Crimes hoaxer.

Well, Kamala Harris. Spent seven years as a district attorney in San Francisco, six years as the attorney general for the great state of California. Do you know what she said about that hoax? She described it as a modern day lynching and has never walked that back. Yeah.

It gets even worse. Might I take you to twenty twenty in the wake of the day after Memorial Day in twenty twenty when George Floyd was killed, and it ended up being the summer of riots and mostly peaceful but fiery protests, right? Yes.

Well, Kamala Harris, our esteemed vice president, began to support a bail fund out of Minnesota that let some of these violent protesters, the people being arrested, were not peacefully protesting and encouraging people to donate to that site. One of the violent protesters was released and right after that killed a man in Minneapolis. Jeff, these are just three of the most egregious, and I've got a few more if you've got time to hear them. Yeah, we got a couple of minutes here. Yeah, well, what else you got on this front?

Wait a minute, that's not enough? I didn't just spoke.

So, the next thing is, you'll remember a number of years ago, there were a number of Haitian immigrants that were crossing our southern border. We share a 2,000-mile border with the great country of Mexico, and unfortunately, it's a porous border. Our former president Tried to knit that border up and to close it off. It hasn't happened because of some of the policies of the Biden-Harris administration.

Some of the intrepid customs and border patrol agents who were trying to stop people from coming across the Rio Grande River and making another dangerous trek. She described them as whipping migrants, and her exact words were: The images that she saw evoke imagery of slavery. She then was part of a Senate confirmation hearing for one of President Trump's nominees to run ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency. She asked him, this guy's name was Mr. Vidiello, if he understood that there were similarities between ICE.

And the notorious Ku Klux Klan. Jeff, in closing, and the prosecution is going to rest after this. She supports sanctuary cities. Sanctuary cities are where local governments defy federal immigration laws and refuse to work with the federal government to keep our city safer. She is for bail reform, which basically allows people to get out of jail without posting any bail whatsoever, no cash bail.

And Jeff, I just think that if you're a law enforcement officer, if retired or on active duty, if you support the blue, if you support law enforcement, I don't even fathom how you could potentially think that Kamala Harris is going to keep us safe or could lead our nation with this as a backdrop.

Well, I'll tell you what, if I am the judge, then this is a directed verdict. You win. You win this argument. And if she wins, we all lose big time. Jimmy, I am always grateful for you taking time for us.

I see someone who has made it clear throughout the years she hates cops.

That's all. That's all I have to know. And I look at this Tim Waltz who well, to put it in terms that Democrats would understand, is weird. Should we talk about the stolen dollar? Should we talk about his DUI arrest?
