So, look, I'm not sure what Joe Biden and the Biden crime syndicate, I don't know what they have, but they've got a lot of dirt. And you think over the years, Joe Biden's been in Washington, D.C. for, wow, for, what, 50 years? And Joe Biden has collected a lot of dirt on a lot of people over the years. And if I was a betting man, I'd wager a Chick-fil-A sandwich and a six-pack of Cheerwine that Biden is using all of that information.

So earlier today, let me explain what happened. And earlier this morning, all of the House Democrats were summoned to DNC headquarters. And they met behind closed doors. And many of these people have already been on the record. Biden's got to go.

He's got dementia. He's senile. He poops his pants. The whole nine yards. And they're all walking in there, marching in.

And we don't know what happened inside. But when they all came out, the people that were like, oh, it's okay. Everybody poops their pants.

So it's all right. Everybody's got a little bit of senility. Oh, it's okay. What's a little dementia? We love Joe.

He's our guy.

So you wonder what happened in that meeting? What happened inside DNC headquarters that all of a sudden people walk in, they're ready to ship old Joe out to the nursing home, the old folks home. And now they believe that Joe Biden can indeed be the standard bearer of the Democrat Party, whose mascot happens to be an ass. It is what it is.

So anyway, I suspect that as soon as everybody sat down in the big room there, everybody was given a manila folder. And on the cover of the manila folder was something like classified or top secret. and at the appointed time maybe was it first lady mrs dr joe biden or hunter they were standing there at the podium and they said ladies and gentlemen welcome we're glad to have you here we hope you enjoyed the the lovely danish and orange juice now if you don't mind just please open the manila folder and take a long hard look and whatever was in those manila folders it was enough to cause every Democrat in that room to change their opinion of Joe Biden right on the spot.

Now, that's what I think happened in that room. But anyway, as it as it now stands, ladies and gentlemen, it looks as though everybody is getting in line behind Joe Biden and he's going to be the guy.

Now, what's fascinating, there's some brand new polling data out there. And I told you that pantsuit was on the prowl. And Hillary Clinton has been making all these sorts of appearances. She's got a book coming out in September. And now there's a brand new survey out.

And it shows that former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Mrs. Bill Clinton, would actually beat Donald Trump, according to this poll. Look, I know how you guys feel about polls. But anyway, Politico, this is a national poll. It was shared exclusively with Politico.

And it finds right now Biden is trailing Trump 43% to 42%. I just find that incredibly hard to believe. It ought to be like 70 to 30. But, oh, we've got a lot of morons in the country. anyway only 29 percent of those polled say that biden has the mental capacity and physical stamina to serve another four-year term only 29 percent of americans now when you get down to who can actually beat trump in this poll they're saying that kamala harris is running ahead of trump 42 percent to 41 percent again i just find this to be a these numbers are just insane but it's the hillary clinton number that has people chattering today on the social media and they're saying that hillary clinton would beat donald trump 43 to 41 percent what i find fascinating is that somebody went out there and and tested this particular poll so people are out there and they're doing research on Hillary Clinton.

Now, this is fascinating. The poll also tested other potential Democrat tickets, one headed up by Clinton, and it's a Clinton-Harris team, right? Hillary on top and Kamala on the bottom, if you will. And in that particular poll, they're beating Trump 43% to 40%, a four-point advantage over a Biden-Harris ticket.

so all that to say that the mere fact that somebody is spending thousands of dollars on these polls tells me that there are serious considerations being made right now to put hillary clinton back in the mix somewhere and i think that would be fine because i think trump destroys a hillary clinton kamala harris ticket i truly do now the question is who does trump pick as his running mate by the way trump doing a big rally tonight um at the golf course in miami and marco rubio is going to be there and of course rubio would be there because you know he's the senator of florida but the question is is rubio the guy does that move your needle ladies and gentlemen a marco rubio or a jd vance or does somebody else move your needle because trump um He was on Hannity last night, and he phoned into Hannity. And Trump says that he's still not decided over his VP.

So he's still working through who he wants for his vice presidential running mate. And we have a lot of people down at Mar-a-Lago that monitor this radio program. I'd be curious to know from you, who do you like? By the way, guess whose name is back in the mix again? and that would be Nikki Haley as a possible running mate.

Another big story we're going to be following through the program is this legislation adamantly opposed by Democrats and the White House that would prevent illegals from being able to vote in federal elections. And I'll explain why that is a big deal.

And we're going to do that a little bit later on in the program. But anyway, all of these folks now that were turning against Joe Biden, now supporting Joe Biden. Here's formerly Fat Jerry Nadler, the congressman of New York, cut number 12. Do you have any concerns about the rest of this term? No.

Just to be clear, sir, you do not want the president to drop out? I do not. Sir, is your support for the president a pragmatic consideration, given that the president has said you will remain in?

Well, yeah. He said he's going to remain in. He's our candidate. He's going to remain in. I hope he will.

That kind of leaves you with no choice, then. I take it. I'm talking about William.

Well, yes. As the president said, 90% of the Democrats voted for him in the primaries. He won the nomination, and that's going to be the matter. Thanks, sir. All right, there you go.

That's Jerry Nadler. If you couldn't understand him, let me try to interpret. Why is it that everybody in Congress is over the age of 90? Could someone explain that to me? This is insane.

You know, we had, oh, who was it? Our great college Republican, Riley Neeson, wrote a paper years ago about why we need term limits or age limits in Congress. And at the time, I disagreed, but I think he's right. This is absolutely insanity. I mean, you don't know if that's Nadler or Mitch McConnell.

or even a joe biden poop yeah i don't know these people it's like good golly you do wonder um you know when you go to the gym and they had the vending machines and you got what the power aid and you got uh you know the gatorade and all the whatnot bottles of water up in congress they've got like geritol what's that what's that milk that it's in the can it's terrible effort dent god forbid the teeth fall out it's terrible all right let's go to north carolina rita uh has a recommendation for president trump all right rita what say you tulsi gabbard so tulsi gabbard so you think tulsi gabbard would be a good vp pick for donald trump Absolutely. She's brilliant. She's smart. She's served military and still serving as reserve. She served in Congress.

She is from Somalian descent in Hawaii. And she was a Democrat that left the party or the party left her. And she's an independent. And everyone says that independents swing the election.

Well, there you go. Here's the challenge there, Rita. You know, she's pro-abortion. and that could rub some of the evangelical Christians the wrong way, or do you think they're just going to vote anyway because they've got nowhere else to go?

Well, I think they're going to vote anyway, especially when you realize the vice president does not make laws and everybody's entitled to an opinion, and they send it back to the states to make the laws anyway, so people need to vote on those. Rita, I think that's a pretty logical way of looking at things. I will say this. Trump did suggest that his vice presidential running mate will bring people together. And I think when you look at somebody like Tulsi Gabbard, I think that she would be attractive to people who are independents and, quite frankly, some Democrats out there.

And at this stage of the game, this is going to sound bad, Rita, and I don't mean for it to sound like it's going to sound. The reality is the Republican Party doesn't exist anymore. this is a populist party that has been commandeered by Donald Trump and the Make America Great Again movement.

So this is really this is almost creating a brand new political entity. The Republicans it's it's they're Republican in literally in name only. Does that make sense to you Rita? Well, I just wanted to make the point that, you know, all of the people were saying Biden, you know, he needs to go. And then now they've had that meeting with the governors, and they come out and say, oh, he needs to stay in.

Now he's got these people, what's it, C&C, saying stay in.

So they've got a plan, some kind of plan for him to stay in because they know that he's not mentally stable to be in there. I mean, I used to work in a system living for 25 years with Alzheimer's.

So I know what I see. And he does have that. I don't care. You know, I mean, I work with him. But my point is that, I mean, what are they going to do once they get him?

If he does win, but he does, I mean, and he's not going to make it four years. How are they going to do this? I mean, who's going to be their vice president?

Well, and Janet, I'm glad you brought that up because, again, if the Republicans maintain and grow their majority in the House and they retake the Senate, then they're going to have a very difficult time getting a vice president through that crowd who's a Democrat.

So it's really a big gamble for them to move forward with Joe Biden. But one lawmaker said, this is all we got.

So unless there is going to be a massive push by the donors, you've already got the media, and the New York Times doubling down. They put out another op-ed today, editorial board, putting out an op-ed saying Biden's got to go. It's over. You've got Hollywood turning against Biden. But right now, there is a massive civil war.

We're watching this unfold, and it's pretty fun to watch, Janet, because for decades, they've been doing this to the Republicans.

So it's kind of nice to watch it happen to the Democrats. Absolutely. And she is also the founder of something called Slut Walk, which aims to combat women's equality issues. And so it's so funny because people, I'm getting deluged with hate mail. How dare you? You're just a closet Democrat. You're just looking for things to be picky about.

Leave the Republicans alone. And my favorite is this.

Well, I heard she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. And I'm like, pretty sure that didn't happen. I mean, I wish it did, but she's kind of like a self-avowed atheist. It's kind of like how they fawned over Kanye West when he did the one act of putting on a red MAGA hat. Oh, yeah.

Same thing. My favorite is, how dare you judge? How dare you? So, look, I mean, if that's what it's going to take to get Shinzi to vote Republican, then let's bring out the strippers and the hookers and just have a kegger. My thing is, who do they think we are?

I can't say that word, but... Slut. Todd, you can't say that on radio. It says slut walk. That's what she founded.

My mom listens to your show.

Sorry, Mrs. Deed. But I guess the RNC thinks that these young people are, you know, people of the night and could be won over.

So I'm just, I mean, just hire a bunch of sidewalk sallies and send them to Milwaukee. I just, is that what's going to attract young people to the RBC? It's all about sex positivity. And it was an entire campaign to create a safe space around sex workers. That's what that's about.

Sidewalk sallies. Yeah. All right.

So, and she's a big time Trump supporter now. Don't get me wrong. I mean, she's all in. She wears the MAGA hat and pretty much nothing else. She is just a big, huge fan of Donald Trump, and she's got a MAGA reign.

So she's all in.

So they're going to platform her. That's the word, correct, coming from your show?

So speaking from a Gen Z-er perspective, no one knows who Amber Wack is really anymore. I mean, look at your producers over there. They're all shaking their head. They're all under 25. We don't know who she's.

She's a little old. Yeah. To be doing this. Don't you retire at some point?

Well, we just don't know who she is. And I don't even think millennials do it. Todd looks like he's doing it. Oh, she's got something tattooed on her forehead. I'm trying to understand what that is.

I don't know. Like, so if you want young people to vote for Trump, you need to get Post Malone on your side. You need Taylor Swift to come over to MAGA because they actually have influence. I know shade to Amber Rose, but I just don't think she has a ton of influence. Her last name is Levin Chuck.

So I can understand why she goes by Amber Rose. Rose. Levin Chuck. That's her stage name. All right.

Well, that's interesting. I just find it all fascinating because this is I mean, that's what I was told is that you just have to you're just too old. The whole point of this is to reach out to the young people of America. Did they do this judging? Did they do this when you were a whippersnapper?

pulling like Michael Jackson to the RNC. We had Lee Greenwood. Oh, wow. And we were proud to be an American, by golly. You should be.

You absolutely. To the hills of Minnesota or what? No, that's the lakes. To the hills of Tennessee.

So here's the issue. Across the plains of Texas. I'm sorry, go ahead. We don't have a Lee Greenwood anymore. And it's very interesting to see because celebrities do not typically gravitate towards Republicans when one breaks from the mold, we immediately gravitate towards them and welcome them in with open arms.

He's moving to Tennessee. Why can't these people speak? Candace Cameron Bray. Can she sing? Can she warble a tune?

Oh, is that the sequel? oh wow they're having they're popping out babies all over the place on that tv show yeah well this is all fascinating i'm just i am curious and we should have asked governor scott walker from young america's foundation i'm not sure that you know they've had anybody from the slut walk organization you know address the children at the reagan ranch but um you never know it is what it is is she going to perform like shouldn't she perform some of these people does she sing or is she is she's just a model is it does she sing dylan she was featured in a music video oh that's how she blew up and being kanye's ex which is how a lot of people oh that's okay so she used to date mr a west yeah all right gotcha i was trying to figure out what her tattoo said on her forehead todd right it's hard to it's it's hard i looked it up yeah i'm not good with cursive wait i thought if you had a tattoo on your face you were a convicted killer no no i think that's an old wives tale that's urban legend that's the teardrop by the eyeball golly holy smokes all right i'm gonna get even more hate mail you do not understand the level of hate mail i've gotten over the past i saw your twitter feed because i just pointed out that the author of how to be a bad b word is going to be featured at the rnc you democrat you You don't go after Joe Biden like that. All right, I called the man senile with a mind of mush.

That wasn't a compliment. It's a parody at this point. Who knows? My favorite. How dare you support unborn babies, you Democrat?

Did they expect you to come out in favor of the abortion pill?

Well, yes, and also the fact that it was removed from the party platform. And so they said, you know, Todd, you know, you are responsible. You're going to be responsible for Trump losing. And I'm simply pointing out here that we're removing things from the platform that we're. It's a great platform.

It really is a great platform. Problem is, we took out a lot of stuff that needed to be in there that makes us Republicans. And there was no need to do that except to make the party more attractive to people who might be fans of Amber Rose. I mean, in reality, that's what this is. Can I ask you real quick?

Sure. What do you make of Project 25? When do you hear that? Because everybody that goes on a Sunday show that is going to be the question until November So look this is a project coming out of the Heritage Foundation and I a big fan of it I gone through I agree with a lot of stuff There's some stuff I don't. Here's the problem with this, and this problem transcends whether or not I support this project.

It was made public. And this is a big problem in the conservative world. People don't know how to keep secrets. They don't know how to keep their mouths shut. And they blab.

And this is something that we didn't need to know about. This is something that should have been implemented after Trump was elected. If, in fact, that's, you know, if, in fact, they have those kinds of connections, which they may or may not. I don't know. But, again, they caused big problems for the Trump campaign and are causing big problems because somebody blabbed about it.

And I just it's a problem in conservative circles. Very interesting. I wanted to hear your take. No one, you know, it's interesting because my friends, my younger friends, people that I guess would be in the Amber Rose reach, they now are asking me about Project 25. And it's now linked to the Republican Party and how they're going to turn the country into the modern day handsmaid's tale.

And I just tried to fact check them. Like, that's not actually Trump's platform. Maybe it will be. I was just curious because now it's everywhere. I do wonder, when they're putting together the stage, will there be some sort of giant pole in the middle of the stage?

Maybe a disco ball. Maybe she jumps into the crowd. I don't know. Crowd surfing. Yes.

I'm sure some lawmakers will love that. When you cover the RNC, I've never been. Have you seen all of the costumes? I've seen photos of the people. People really get into character.

People get decked out. It's really huge. Yeah, it's a lot of fun. It's going to be a very colorful crowd there, very patriotic. All right, Ben Dieter, thank you for the update, the Gen Z update.

But now Democrats are calling for Joe to step up. Of course, you all know that.

And I'm not getting any credit for it, but that's OK. But let me say this here. Here's what my concern is about.

So Democrats are going to replace Joe Biden more than likely. if the Lord God Almighty don't move him. I'm afraid that Republicans, their message is going to get lost. I'm okay with them trying to recruit more younger voters to come on their side, but what Republicans need to do is they need to make what I call a distinction a fundamental distinction between their core beliefs and principles in comparison to Democrats' extreme policies. The message can't get lost.

It's okay to replace Joe. The Democrats are just going to find another Cocoa Pop to go along with the dodo bird, Kamala Harris. But Republicans can't lose the message. They need to know why they're voting for conservative Republican Party. That's what I'm concerned about, their message not getting lost in all the madness.

You know what I'm trying to say there? They have to know why they're voting for a Republican. Yeah, no, I get it. And I think when Trump and the team, they were looking at the party platform, and they're looking at things that the Democrats are going to pounce on. And, you know, now that abortion is not a part of the platform, in their mind, they're thinking, okay, that issue now is off the table.

So they're not going to be able to criticize the Republicans on the abortion issue. I don't know if that's true or not, but the broader question is how many people, and just be honest with yourself, how many people, if you're a Republican, how many of you going out to the polls, you cast your vote strictly on the abortion issue? Is that the issue that is compelling you to get out and vote on Election Day? And black conservatives, I think if people are honest, they're going to say it's not. It's not the top reason.

No, that's not the issue with me being an independent conservative. The issue with me is the economy, and that's the issue. You know, they send that back. The issue of abortion has been sent back to the state, as the president said. And the states are deciding on that.

But that's not the driving, you know, that's not what's driving me to the poll to vote for President Trump. Because I'm voting because, based on his stance, you know, on the economy, you know, with energy costs, you know, reducing, you know, energy. We're becoming energy independent things that are short in the border. and just getting the economy back because the economy is unstable. And, of course, number one on the list, number one issue on the party platform is seal the border and stop the migrant invasion.

Now, what I love about this, it's 20 items, and it's all very clear. There's no wiggle room here. This is exactly what the party is going to do. And, again, it seems more like a campaign platform than a party platform, but regardless, if we can get even half of this done, it is going to revolutionize this country. Black conservative, good hearing from you.

And you know that's how they're going to attack the polls in November. And if you read the regulations on that, of course, you're really not supposed to have them, but 19 states do allow it. But you're supposed to have big bold letters on it that says federal limits may apply. And if you go through and look at what the laws in those states say, they don't really actually specify that that wording says to be on that document. Bill, we're going to get into this later on in the show, but here's what's going to happen.

It's not the fact that these illegals are going to go and vote on election day. They're not going to show up at your local ballot box, your polling station. That's not what this is all about. This is about the Democrats collecting those ballots and filling them out for the illegals and then stuffing the ballot boxes that's what this is really all about here bill appreciate that call and thank you for listening 901-260-5926 that's 901-260-5926 now going through some of the other things on the party platform uh carry out the largest deportation operation in american history now i want to stop right there this has to be done when you look at what's happening across western europe right now and the islamification of entire nations it's happening in france and it's happening in the uk at in real time if we do not stop this it will happen in this country so we've got to send all of these people and and i know as and this is going to be a source of great debate within the republican party because and i've already seen it well do you want armored vehicles and military troops rounding up people in the neighborhoods yes i do do you want well you're gonna have to put him in concentration camps you can call it whatever you want to call it wherever you're going to detain them you need to do that before sending them out but here's a better thought don't even detain them you arrest the illegals and take them directly to buses or airplanes that will send them right out of the country lickety split i got no problem with that and if we do not do this ladies and gentlemen we will lose our country so this is vitally important and again it ties into why they're coming over here in the first place and it's because the democrats want to take and harvest their ballots fill it out for them and steal the elections that's what this is all about and we're talking about millions and millions of votes millions and millions all right we got to take a break here 901-260-5926, our number, that's 901-260-5926. 18 people voted against the platform. And there's been a lot of people upset about how all of this went down. The RNC came in, and they said, look, here's the deal. Nobody brings any cell phones in here. You're not going to be able to debate this.

We're presenting this to you. You will either approve it or you will reject it, but there will be no debates. There will be no amendments. In other words, and they basically told the Christians, the evangelical Christians, like our friend Tony Perkins from Family Research Council. They basically told him, hey, Christians, shut up and do what we tell you to do.

And, of course, Tony Perkins and a lot of the others were very concerned because the platform did not include some of the religious liberty stuff, the references to same-sex marriage, the pro-life stuff. All of that was gone. It was removed from the platform. And the whole point of it is that they wanted a platform that would be appealing to a larger, broader audience. And the Christians in the group did not like that.

Now, what's also interesting about the platform committee, all of the people were basically handpicked.

So everybody was pretty much new. There were some old timers, but basically the fix was in. You know, they were playing hardball politics. And that you would expect for them to do at that level. Anyway, here's one of the party platform members.

Her name is Gail Ruzica. Cut number nine. Take me inside. There were no phones. Was there any debate?

How unusual was this this year? It's never happened before. I guess I've done this several times. There was no there was no committees. We always had subcommittees where we can go in and work on a section of the platform.

We can propose amendments, debate them, add them. Always happens. I've done it many times. And then it would usually take today, and then tomorrow we would come back and meet as the complete platform, and sometimes there would be more amendments. They didn't allow any amendments.

They didn't allow any discussion. They rolled us. That's what they did. We only spent thousands of dollars to be here. And everything they told us they were going to do isn't what happened.

None of it happened. I've never seen this happen before. I don't understand why they did it. and I'm extremely disappointed that we do not have any pro-life language. There are good things in this platform.

There are a lot of things in there that I support, but I didn't vote for this because we've never had a platform. I've been coming to these conventions since 1992, and this is the first time we don't have a pro-life platform. The platform simply says that we oppose late-term abortion.

Well, what about before that? There's nothing that doesn't even want any place mention the unborn baby at all. Never happened before. And I've never been treated so badly to have them force this vote on us before we even had a chance to read the platform. They gave it to us, but then they had a meeting with people speaking.

So we glanced through it, but we didn't have time to study it and read it. And then all of a sudden somebody made a motion to vote on the platform. And that was it. And then they sent us home and said, well, goodbye.

So, again, and you feel bad for this lady. She's been voting. She's been a part of the Republican process since the 1990s, and she says we get there. And they basically told us to shut up and do what we tell you to do. And that's party leadership.

Are you okay with that? I mean, it seems to me that Republicans, we ought to be transparent. Republicans ought to be open to debate. But again, I see both sides of it here. But the issue is that we've got to stand for something.

And somebody's got to stand up for the unborn. And if we can't get that one issue right, I don't think we get anything else right. And here's my concern, is God's judgment, right? I mean, God cannot be pleased that we're killing all these unborn babies. I'm just saying God cannot be happy with us.

And it's just really sad to see these good-hearted Christian people being treated like this by the Republican Party.

So I mentioned this on the social media feed yesterday. And the amount of blowback I got was really sort of, I was kind of surprised, to be honest with you. And the point, and I'm just going to say this from the get-go, I will never apologize to anybody for being pro-life. I will never apologize. Look, I support every single thing in that party platform.

My concern is what they left out, what they took away for the first time since Ronald Reagan, before Ronald Reagan. That's my concern. I'm not going to apologize for being pro-life. I'm not going to apologize for being a Christian, and especially to Republican leadership. But, man, I'm catching holy hell on the social media.

And the reason why is they say, Todd, how dare you speak out against Donald Trump?

Well, I haven't said anything about Donald Trump, but I'm not speaking out against Donald Trump. I'm speaking out against the party platform.

So now the idea is, and this is where we get into some pretty dangerous waters here.

Well, if President Trump supports it, then you have to support it. And if you don't support it, you're a Democrat or you're a leftist or you're a Nazi. Wait, what? What? Seriously, I'm getting this level of hate.

And that's the logic. If you disagree, if you walk outside and somebody from the Trump campaign says, oh, it's a little humid outside. And then I would come out and say, you know, it feels good to me. Then all of a sudden I'm a Nazi. that is a very dangerous place to be in american politics right now ladies and gentlemen so anyway i feel bad for the christians but basically all you christians out there and and look this was actually told to tony perkins someone literally said well where else are your people going to go to vote so they know that you're going to vote republican no matter what so i i guess in a way it's a moot point 901-260-5926 is our telephone number that's 901-260-5926 So Joy Reid is really upset over all you rich white people, but it turns out not conservative rich white people.

No, this is on the other side of the aisle. Cut 11. All of that happened this weekend. But please, please, privileged rich white elected Democrats, you just keep publicly defenestrating your party leader and president to feed the media thirst for Democrats in disarray stories because you're scared for your own seats and apparently don't know how to campaign on a surging economy, high-tech jobs and $35 insulin. I mean, you're the most important thing here, right?

You and your donors, of course, not the actual voters in your party base who can't afford to see prices double on everything they buy due to Trump's China tariffs and who would be the first ones fired from their federal civil service jobs under Project 2025 or shot in the streets by Trump's stormtroopers if they protest. You do you. All right.

I love it. Look, yeah, the Democrats, they got a big problem because you do have the super wealthy whites, the rich white liberals, and you've got their donors. And they believe they know more than the base of the party. I'm with Donald Trump. Let Joe Biden run for office.

Hi, Carlotta. What's going on?

Well, I would like you to explain something to me. People are saying that Joe Biden is really going to step down, but he's just holding out for a deal where none of his drifting crime family are, you know, convicted and they get pardoned and a golden parachute.

So I could believe that, especially with Hunter doing the negotiating. But how can they guarantee? Like, if Trump were to get in, do you think that they would lean on Trump and say, we'll help you pass your legislation if you honor the promises we make? I mean, can Biden depend on any deal he makes? That's my question.

I don't know. And, you know, there have been some talk, some scuttlebutt of maybe Trump going in and offering a pardon to Hunter. If that happens, look, they'll have this all worked out before Joe steps aside. And it may be where Joe Biden pardons his own son. I don't think that that would happen, but it could.

Ultimately, though, I think this is more about money and assurances, making sure he gets, you know, a couple of hundred million dollars for the Biden, you know, presidential library jobs for the children and the grandchildren. You know, they want to make sure that the exit package is going to keep them, you know, keep them wealthy for a very long time.

so it really wouldn't depend on the next president they would the only thing that would be less uncertain would be hunter's heart and james the brother all the all the all the crimes they committed they would just have to take that gamble absolutely and i think that ultimately is and i think you're right and you're smart to to make that observation that's why hunter biden is literally by his father's side at all times is you know just to make sure that daddy doesn't go and you know go off script and you know announce his resignation so because hunter needs him hunter hunter is truly concerned about doing jail time which he could very well do and should do uh and that's that's why he's this is a very unloving family it's a transactional family that's what it is, Carlotta. And the uncles also. I mean, all of them. Oh, yeah. But I don't care.

You know, I think they're so evil. And for a while, I just wanted to see them punished. But they are so evil. I'm sure the Lord will take care of them. I just want our country back.

Some sad news for all of you country music fans, and this is old school country. uh joe bonzo from the oakridge boys who is actually a good friend of mine we met years ago back during my days at at fox news and just a really great conservative good christian man he passed away uh today 76 years old um that announcement coming out just a little while ago from nashville he was a member of the country music hall of fame he was also a member of the Greenville Opry and of course one of the members of the great great musical group the Oak Ridge Boys he'd been dealing with ALS for a long time but I'd still get a note from him every now and again on the Twitter we followed each other on Twitter and he'd send a message or so a message or two you know what's interesting about Joe and this it just blew my mind you think he's just a good old southern guy he he's from Philadelphia and I just again it goes back to that whole idea of being country is not really a geographic location it's it's really a state of mind so good good man and certainly pray for joe's family pray for the oakridge boys as um as they go through this uh this really sad loss here so anyway my goodness 901-260-5926 is our number That's 901-260-5926. I have a question for you. When was the last time that you used a check to pay for something? When was the last time?

And, you know, a lot of people, they literally pay all of their bills now online, right?

So it's just easy. It's convenient. But there are still some people that are old school, and they carry around a checkbook. And I know we were down in Iowa. And it was funny.

We were doing a book signing, and somebody asked, oh, what are the price of the books? And, you know, we charge. We're pretty – we're very kind to our listeners, and we don't charge out the wazoo. But you know these Iowa folks, KXEL territory, and you guys, you know, you're Midwesterners through and through, so you're always looking for a good deal. And somebody actually asked how much the book was, and we told them, and they said, wow, that's cheaper than it is online.

So they've actually gone and done their homework, as you should, you good people in the Midwest.

So anyway, we actually had a couple of people say, oh, we take credit card, we take cash. And somebody said, do you take check? And we had several people that wrote a check. Anyway, you're not going to be able to do that at Target anymore. Target says they will no longer allow people to write a check to pay for their goods And the reason why they say that most people just simply do not use checks and it's becoming too costly.

All of this happens on July 15th, and the change comes as fewer people are using personal checks as a form of payment. Nine in ten customers used at least once a year as recently as 2009, but today only about half of Americans write a check at least once a year. Many shift to digital payments like Venmo, PayPal, and others. Is that true? Dylan, have you ever written a check before in your life?

I don't even take out my card when I pay for things anymore. Oh, wow. Really? What do you do? You use your phone.

So you just put your phone up in it? Literally. You double tap your power button on your phone, and it's like, here's your wallet. Fascinating. I don't think I've ever written a check.

I don't like that. It's easy.

Some people still pay their bills by mail.

So they'll write a check, and they'll put it in an envelope and put a stamp on it. These are foreign concepts to many in Gen Z. They still get the newspaper, too, huh? They probably do. What is that?

Well, not the commercial appeal. I love it. We'll have our people contacting each other. I love it. uh congressman i'm pretty excited about what's uh going to happen in judiciary committee uh looks like you're finally going to be able to go after these uh these executives who are colluding to silence conservatives give us a preview of what we can expect here yeah 90 percent of the advertising spend of the advertising money spent out there is is these the people who do that are all in this organization garm some people said we should call it harm and it's basically a cartel type of a group colluding together, say, oh, you know what? We think it would jeopardize your brand if you advertise on, say, the Todd Starnes show or the Daily Wire or Newsmax or Fox.

And it's always, and it'll have some, like, crazy definition, like, oh, brand safety, we're concerned. I had this. I got to find it where it was said in here. They talk about misinformation. But they, oh, insensitive, irresponsible, and harmful treatment of debated, sensitive social issues.

What the heck does that mean? But that's one of their standards for, oh, if there's a website or a platform that has that kind of issue that they're dealing with there, you shouldn't advertise there. And in essence, it's like a cartel stopping advertising from happening, demonetizing so many of these websites. You know, it's really been a challenge. And as the owner of a news talk radio station and several web platforms, you know, we had to maneuver through these waters.

And it can really be hard for folks who don't necessarily, you know, who have to rely on like the Google ads or whatever. And, you know, they're denied. They're denied these ads because of what you just said. Yeah, no, it's it's it's wrong. We think it's a violation of antitrust laws because they're clear.

Because, again, now the argument you hear is, oh, well, some of these websites and these they have like content. We're really just focused on making sure there's no terrorist type. Your ads are next to some terrorist statement or something that's harmful to kids.

Well, you can do that on your own. You can just say, I don't want to advertise on those. A company can do that. But what's happening here is they join this organization because you have to collude in order to get at the political side, the ideology. And that's what's going on.

And we've seen the implications of that for it's all targeted towards conservative platforms, conservative websites. And I understand that Ben Shapiro is apparently going to be one of those people testifying. Is that right? It sure is. In fact, we just had a little meeting with Mr.

Shapiro. He'll be testifying tomorrow at the hearing. We look forward to him. We've had him testify before. He always does a great job.

So that'll be, again, an important hearing on this. this is in some ways it's about the first amendment which we see the left attacking the first amendment it's about this antitrust issue it's all this sort of combined this this censorship effort this colluding to censor um which again that was the judiciary committee uh you're not allowed to do that you're not allowed to to uh collude like that to uh to uh limit competition and to your point i mean this organization they basically account for about 90 percent of global advertising dollars spent so um they basically decide whether or not advertising dollars are spent on your website your your um your conservative web pages completely 90 some of the biggest companies in the world the six biggest advertising agencies in the world are part of this there's a steer team uh like a like basically like the board of directors for garm who make the decisions and we've got emails we issued out of putting out a report tomorrow where we talk about some of these things, some of the crazy things they say in there. And I, I use the example of the Daily Wire because they talk about, you know, well, they talk about all kinds of conservative outlets, uh, censoring that not allowing stuff to happen. It's a, it's a, uh, it's a brand safety concern. If you would advertise on the Daily Wire or if you would advertise on, on, on a Newsmax, uh, platform, it just so, so targeted against, um, uh, people in the, from the conservative perspective.

uh that's the we have a daily wire we have daily wire on our global high-risk exclusion list categorized as a conspiracy theory this is one of the emails from the guy who heads up garm wow talking about uh a news outlet well on the patriot mobile newsmaker line a congressman jim jordan and uh congressman of course the the big uh the big donkey in the room i guess is uh president biden and what's happening with the democrats and i'm curious what are you hearing from Democrats on Capitol Hill. Are they still supporting Biden? Are they turning away?

Well, that seems like today. It seems like they're kind of rallying back towards President Biden. I haven't really talked to any Democrats today. We had a committee hearing earlier this morning, but I know they had their big conference earlier this morning. But that's sort of the feedback we're getting.

A lot of them are being quiet. We'll just have to see. I mean, the American people saw it firsthand two weeks ago. I don't think they need any cognitive tests or anything like that that's been talked about, really, because we all got to see it. We watched it.

We heard it. We all saw the 60-some million, I think it was, or whatever number. There's a huge number of people who watched the debate.

So we'll just see what they end up doing. What I know is it's been a great couple of weeks for the American people, for President Trump. President Trump did a great job at the debate. The Supreme Court rulings we got on the Chevron issue, on the immunity issue, on the Fisher decision, all good uh you know decisions there uh that that you know which we don't get but for president trump being president nominating those good people to the court so overall it's been i think a good couple weeks for the country and for certainly for president trump's campaign we'll see what the democrats end up doing now there's been a lot of concern about the vice president the cover-up of the president's health do you anticipate or do you see any hearings coming where those issues may be bringing in the white house physician and the vice president there's there's certainly talk of that, and I know Chairman Comer is looking at that, we all know the 25th Amendment is an issue for the Cabinet. There may be a point where Congress needs to look into this, hearings.

We, of course, subpoenaed the audio tape from Council Herr where he interviewed President Biden.

So we'll see how all that plays out. But obviously the 25th Amendment is a question for the Cabinet if they're going to do something there. No, I'm with you. I was looking at the party platform and uh granted there are some concerns among you know evangelicals but by and large this is a document that i think is really going to resonate with the american people especially when it comes to issues of not only securing our border but sending illegals back to the countries that came from yep no that president trump's been clear about that and i think uh you know this i've said this many times this election is pretty darn straightforward in three and a half years we went from a secure border to no border, safe streets to record crime, $2 gas to $4 gas, stable prices to record inflation. We went from a commander in chief who projected strength to Joe Biden.

And in the three and a half years, we've seen a federal government being weaponized, these agencies being weaponized against we the people. That's the campaign. Which side do you want to be on? Who do you want to support? And I think the American people have common sense.

That's why President Trump is up in every poll, because they want the good policies, the leadership we saw under President Trump just four years ago. Yeah, great point. All right, Congressman, we're going to leave it there. Always good here in front of you. Thanks, Todd.

And he's right. And I would caution the pastors of America, and there are many. If you go on social media, many pastors of very large churches are now saying they're not going to vote in the election, that if the Republican Party will not stand for life, then they will not be a part of the Republican Party. just seconds ago, Mary Margaret Olihan, our friend over at the Daily Signal, received this statement from Mike Pence. Mike Pence now voicing his profound disappointment to the millions of pro-life Republicans that have always looked to the Republican Party to stand for life.

He says the platform is, again, a profound disappointment.

So what Congressman Jordan said is a reality and and i get it i i understand where everybody's coming from here but you can't stay home you you can't not vote you've got to get out and vote everybody does and the concern that tony perkins had going into this meeting yesterday first of all that their side was not even granted the right to be heard they were told to sit down and shut up and do as they were told the concern is that it would dampen voter turnout in the fall elections that would be disastrous disastrous all right uh 901-260-5926 is our telephone number that's 901-260-5926 this is the todd stern show All right, welcome back, everybody. Let's go to Cindy in New York. Hi, Cindy. What's on your mind? Hi, Ted. I am one of the old-timers that writes checks out.

Is that right? So you still do the checks and balance the back of the book and the whole nine yards?

Well, I balance it online. But when I moved, I drove a truck all over the country. And when I moved back to this little town in upstate New York, the guy I met was, he would go around to every, the cable TV person, the gas and electric person. And I'm like, wow, this is wild. But there's something cathartic.

cathartic cathartic yeah no i'm with you about it you know licking that stamp and or not licking it you don't have to look at it and just putting it in the you know i just i love that and i still do it a couple of times the only thing i'm irritated about was some old lady gets in front of me at the grocery store and she whips out her checkbook and he's like oh i didn't make it out Yeah. And then she has to, after she finishes writing it, she has to open up to the back and to write down the charge, and she's doing all the math. Yeah, but I think there's something catharsis about it for me, anyway, because it's just like old-timey. I like that. I like that.

Cindy, thank you. And you know what we do? I forgot about this, Dylan. I usually give all the grandkids, the cousins, checks at Christmas time. Yeah, and we have no idea what to do with it.

I know you don't. That's wow. Todd gave me all this money and I don't know what to do with it. By the way, I don't think you cashed last last year's check. I don't think so.

So I wanted to I wanted to take umbrage with a few of the things that you've been saying over the past 24 hours. Sure. Just perusing your social media, specifically Twitter, you're obviously unhappy with the inclusion of Amber Rose at the convention and the striking of pro-life language from the official platform. And I'm as upset about it as you are, Todd, But I can't help but feel like there's a 190-pound elephant that we're all kind of avoiding right now, or more accurately that you're avoiding. I don't know what you're talking about.

I think you do. Jacob, why don't you tell us, what are we talking about here?

well um you're you're kind of acting surprised like this what's happening at the convention is just come out of the blue or whatever but i can tell you i'm certain you'll agree as an evangelical that you can have a long memory and remember these sorts of things but the guy at the top of the ticket is an unrepentant philanderer and he's also an unrepentant liar when it came to attacking Governor DeSantis for the pro-life bill in Florida. Why are we pretending that what's happened at the convention just sprang up out of the ether?

Well, I think it's a little bit more complicated than that, Jacob. But, I mean, to your point, so you're basically getting around to saying that this is all Trump's fault, that Trump is the one who invited Amber Rose. I have no idea that he did or did not. I don't know who extended the invitation. I'm not blaming him specifically.

I'm not blaming him specifically for the inclusion of Amber Rose. I don't think that was his idea. But he's the de facto head of the party. It is undoubtedly within... Yes.

With Laura Trump at the RNC, absolutely. He wants to be the king of the Republican Party. If he wants anything changed at the convention, it is absolutely within his power. But the things that Trump has said and done cannot be separated from what is happening now at the convention.

So what's your alternative, Jacob?

So what are you recommending Republicans do?

Well, unfortunately, Todd, if I'm being honest with you, I think it's too late. Because the real point I'm kind of getting at here is that... Got to get to it. We're running out of time. you spent the entire primary making funny boot memes about de santis the serious alternative to donald trump oh i forgot about that well yeah you did the pudding fingers joke oh how tall is ron de santis very serious very thoughtful analysis pudding fingers i forgot about that yeah he he ate the pudding with his fingers i forgot about that story yeah it's so funny isn't it it's so glad we I spent time on that.

I'm so glad you focused on that. You brought it up. Not me. You brought it up. Oh, excuse me.

No, it's all over your Twitter. All right.

Where is it all over the Twitter? You've gone back over what, months ago? I mean, I give you credit, Jacob. You've spent a lot of time going back. Why were you focused on putting fingers and boot jokes instead of the good things that DeSantis was doing?

Do you think, I mean, look me in the eye figuratively. I can't look at you in the eye. You told me that Xantos would be cool with a porn star at the convention. I don't know. Well, by the way, she's not a porn star.

No, no, no. You've got to be careful there. She was the founder of something called the Slut Walk, which I don't believe had anything to do with pornography. I think she is. To my knowledge, I don't know.

Maybe I'm wrong, but she's absolutely part of the Slut Walk thing. She's an apologist. She's the founder of it, yeah. Sexual degeneracy, whatever you want to call it. But you cannot look me in the eye and tell me that Ron DeSantis would be copacetic with that.

Family man, extremely pro-life. Where did this come from, Todd? The striking of pro-life language and the inclusion of the slut walk lady.

Well, I'm going to tell you about the abortion thing, and it's not going to make you happy. But Trump, again, is a transactional president. And I will say this, Jacob, that he delivered on a lot of promises he made to the Christian community, a lot of promises. But what happened with Trump is he looked and he saw was it four, five, six times that abortion was on the ballot since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

And it went down not only in a crushing defeat, but they believe that the reason why the Republicans lost in the midterms was because of the abortion issue. and Trump sees that as a problem for the general election coming up in the fall. Jacob, I wish we could continue to talk here. Give us a holler back one of these days. But I get it.

So this is how they memorialized Senator Ted Kennedy. Edward M. Kennedy, Senate stalwart, is dead at 77. Why didn't they mention the fact that he killed a woman? Where's Champaquitick in that headline?

Oh, here's another one. Robert C. Byrd, a pillar of the Senate, dies at 92. I'm sorry, where's the part about Robert C. Byrd being a leader of the KKK?

Where's that part of the headline? But by golly, they're going after James Inhofe because he denied climate change. And people wonder why the subscriptions are drying up for these newspapers. it's unbelievable you know i remember back in the day i don't i'm i'm sort of dating myself now but i'll never forget when i had to have my tonsils out i had to go to the hospital it was oh i had my tonsils out at um oh what was it the methodist hospital in memphis tennessee my grandmother she was one of the pink ladies she would come by and you know give you candy and all that kind of whatnot anyway um she would my grandmother was always very clever and i'll never forget this uh she knew i was going to be in the hospital for several days i was a little child like first grade second grade and she knew i loved the funny papers and so on sundays dylan back in the day you used to get the sunday comics were always in color they were black and white during the weekday but on sundays they were all in color and so she would take all those out and that she would create little comic books for me based on the – it was very nice, very kind. I'm not even sure if they have color comics anymore.

I don't know. Do they even have comics in the newspaper?

So all that to say, what were we – oh, yeah.

So the newspaper, again, that just shows you the level of bias that exists in pages of newspapers like the New York Times. It's really unfortunate. it all right 901-260-5926 and i want to go to norman he's been holding on for a while and he has a theory about why people like to pay by check norman good to have you with us what's on your mind well just a brief comment uh and i can tell you right off the bat i'm 89 years old and i've always written check checks and most people would probably say it's based on the on the and irrational distrust of computers. Given the problems I have with computers, people trying to send me back to Microsoft to re-enable my computer, I still trust the paper. And as an aside, I also don't have a cell phone.

So you're calling us from a landline right now? Yes, sir. And may I just say, I can tell that you're calling from a landline because the signal is crystal clear, unlike somebody who's, you know, walking around with a cell phone in their hands. Yeah. Well, we don't need it.

My wife and I, who is 87, we don't want a cell phone. We don't mind paying by check, you know, even though the price of stamps keeps going up. But our kids think we're crazy. but that's all right it's what we're used to i well look i love this norman you're sort of old school and and i find that very refreshing yeah our kids are always saying when i tell them we're not quite up into the 21st century or anything they said well yeah dad you're still in the 19th. I love it.

So now do you do the website? Do you have a computer? Do you have internet access? Oh yeah, I use a computer.

Okay. Except I am tired of the situations where it locks up and it says you're going to call Microsoft and play that silly game, but I work around that. Yeah, I'm a Mac guy. Good afternoon, sir. Hey, I'll try to be quick. Christian voters still need to vote Republican. Oh, let's – all right, I'm not sure what's going on there with the phone. Let's put Benny on hold and see if we can get that worked out.

In the meantime, let's go to Diane in North Carolina. Hi, Diane. What's on your mind? Hi, Todd. I'm concerned about the Republican Party putting the poll license measures on their agenda.

As a conservative Christian, I think it needs to be at the state level. I don't want the larger states being able to have control of that, of what my smaller state of North Carolina has. I think it needs to stay at the state level. That's what the overturn of Roe v. Wade did.

It gave us back our state right to determine whether we have abortion. And I think it needs to stay there. Yeah, look, I think that's what President Trump promised. And again, going back to the transactional nature of Donald Trump, is that he delivered on that promise in spades. I mean, Roe v.

Wade was overturned thanks in no small part to his picks for the Supreme Court.

So in his mind, mission accomplished. And that issue is off the table for him now. And to your point Diane that was the whole argument all along from the pro movement is well we got to get this issue back to the states which is where it is But now, now you, I think a lot of these pro-life groups need to still earn a paycheck. And now they're saying, well, we really need to have a national, a federal ban on abortion. no because it won't go through because states like california have a larger voting base than we have they have more liberals well i'm sorry but i i think that's going to be a problem look diane you don't have to apologize because you raise a very good point and i've tried to point this out many times over these well since roe v wade was overturned and i've warn people that you've got to be very careful with this issue because in addition to being, I mean, it's a moral issue.

It is a spiritual issue, but that moral spiritual issue is being decided in a political arena, and you've got to play smart politics. And the pro-life movement has not done that, which is why they've gone down in massive defeats every time this thing's been on the ballot.

So until the pro-life movement comes together and says, okay, we need to be smart about this, We need to be very careful about our messaging. They're going to continue to lose at the ballot box. And to Trump's point, and he hasn't said this, I don't want to put words in his mouth, but I think people are looking at that issue right now, and they're seeing how that could possibly motivate a dejected base of Democrat voters to get out and vote on Election Day if this election is about abortion. Right. I agree.

I don't want them to not say, hey, I can't vote Republican because they're pro-life. And my, I'm not. If they want to do that in their home state, that's a different thing. If their state is saying we're going to support pro-life measures on our ballot, that's where it should be. Yeah, no, I get it.

I see, I literally see both sides here. And as a pro-lifer, I'm very disappointed, but I understand why they did what they did. I agree. All right.

So they're having a big problem in Michigan. Two in five Michigan restaurants are no longer profitable and look it's bidenomics i mean it's just absolutely insane what's happening restaurants across michigan are seeing 60 fewer customers this year because nobody can afford to go out to eat it's it's really a horrible situation uh cut number 18 please royal oaks bandit tavern is closing its doors after less than a year in business the restaurant made the announcement on social media today thanking the community for their support bandit just opened its doors in November. And Bandit joins a growing list of Metro Detroit restaurants that have had to close their doors in recent weeks. The Michigan Restaurants and Lodging Association says restaurants across the state are seeing 60 percent fewer customers this year. In a recent survey, the department found that right now two in five Michigan restaurants are not profitable.

The co-owner of Green Dot Staples, Jacques Driscoll, says restaurants have faced huge challenges since the pandemic, including rising food costs and inflation. The good news is we still have, you know, diners coming in. You know, our margins have shrunk, you know, exponentially, it seems like, which were pretty slim margins to begin with.

So just trying to find ways to be creative to keep things going. You know, the biggest thing, you don't want to raise your costs too much. You want to keep a good value for your product and everything.

So just trying to work around that. It's our biggest challenge. Driscoll says he and his wife have had to close their Lansing location so they can focus on their Detroit restaurant. All right.

And it's not just Michigan. I know here in the Memphis area, just restaurant after restaurant shutting down. And the big problem here in Memphis is that nobody wants to go downtown. That's the big problem. It's just not safe because of the anti-crime policies coming out or the anti-police policies coming out of City Hall in Memphis.

And there was a story in the local newspaper here. And the local newspaper said it's just they were conflicted. They don't know what's causing all of the restaurants to shut down.

Well, it's two things. It's one of two things. it's the economy or it's the crime as a matter of fact one very popular restaurant one of the best restaurants in the city it's a place called buckley's and the owner went on kwam's social media page said hey look crime killed our business and they're over in a good part of town but it's it's happening and the problem here is that you have so many elected leaders and they are pro-criminal right they're not they're not protecting the business community they're not protecting the homeowners it's terrible and i know here in memphis we have a situation where city hall actually shut down the police department they said you can't tell the citizens that that people are getting shot you can't tell the citizens that people are getting carjacked and so in doing so and again they believe it's a perception issue so if people if people don't know there's crime then it's a safer city i don't know what they're smoking down there at city hall of memphis i don't know but it's insanity just insanity 901-260-5926 oh i've got to play this this is congress chick uh jasmine crockett now miss crockett uh she's very upset because congressman chip roy referred to kamala harris as a dei vice president cut three at the end of the day i don't think they'll go there i don't think they can they're in a box They are in a box where they've got to choose between a mentally incompetent president and a DEI vice president. And they know that they're going to be facing a problem either way.

Now, I know that you all want to read a loser when a loser says a thing.

So I'm just going to let you comment on what you think about those words. Again, you know what? I want people to listen to them. If you just listen to what they say, it will tell you everything that you need to know. Number one, you can obviously see that he's ignorant as all get out.

And number two, you can see that he wishes he had half the competency of Vice President Kamala Harris. Don't talk to me about what a DEI hire looks like, because we know that you have never, ever engaged in diversity, equity or inclusion when it came to your office.

So we know that you don't know anything about hiring diversity. But let me tell you one of the real facts about diversity in this country. We're missing out on trillions of dollars in GDP. and they can go and check the receipts if they want to because we have the rogue governors coming out of the state of Texas that are anti-DEI. We've got the rogue governor in Florida and so forth.

And so what they need to do is get over their incompetence and just try to get on our level and decide that they're going to compete and start to come up with actual policies instead of going after people because of how they look or how they were born. Instead, they need to focus on taking care of the American people, which means that you're going to take care of people other than just white folk. It means that you take care of brown, Hispanic, Asian, and everyone. All right.

So there you go. That's Congress gal Jasmine Crockett. And she's very upset over Congressman Chip Roy, pointing out the fact that Kamala Harris is a DEI vice president. Here's the challenge here with Congress gal Crockett. What Mr.

Roy said is absolutely true. As a matter of fact, when you go back and listen to Joe Biden out of the campaign trail, he actually promised to select a female vice president. It didn't need to be the best person for the job. He just wanted a woman. That falls within the category of a DEI hire.

The same with the Supreme Court justice, right? He wanted to find a black woman. And so she, Justice Jackson, is a DEI hire as well.

Now, Congress Gal Crockett may not like those facts, and that truth may be inconvenient, but those are the facts.

They're really upset that they had this great epiphany on the night of the debate that, holy cow, Joe Biden is in mental, serious mental decline. And that just goes to show you how many lies they've been fed for how long.

So a lot of people are waking up to a lot of things right now in this country. And that's a great point. And a lot of people may not realize this, but the vast majority of the country, including a lot of folks who live, you know, I'm based in Memphis, Tennessee, so a lot of folks who literally live in the country still get their news from ABC, NBC, and CBS, by and large. And so I think a lot of people are finally waking up now and realizing, holy cow, you know, this guy is just not there. And I think it's eye-opening for a lot of people around the country, John.

Well, it reminds me of that verse that says, be sure your sins will find you out. That's it. You know what I mean? You can only cover it up for so long. And, you know, I looked forward to 2024 for several years, hoping this would be the year where the American public finally got to learn the truth about a lot of different things, not just Joe Biden, but many things.

So I'm hoping this is just the first revealing moment of many to come between now the election you know i i'm with you a thousand percent um i was a couple of weeks ago i was speaking down in murray county uh tennessee south of nashville and i'm driving around the town square i'm like why does this look familiar i had not been to columbia and then i realized holy cow this is where aldeen filmed his music video and uh then i was watching your music video which we're about to talk about and just some beautiful scenery and i didn't realize it was shot right here in tennessee yeah it was just shot just west of nashville uh in a little town called kingston springs tennessee found a about 150 year old country church and that's where we shot the video wow just a beautiful church and i want to talk about this song the name of the song is revelation and um i suspect many people who go to church uh know may know what you're talking about but tell us about the about the song well several months back you know i was reading had had the book opened reading it and you run across the verse in ephesians that says we wrestle not with flesh and blood but against principalities and powers and the rulers of the darkness of this world and when we when we're always talking about trump and biden and left and right and all these things that we're preoccupied speaking about, the real battle is not that. The real battle is a spiritual battle that's going on in this country.

So when you read the book of Revelation, or you read Daniel, or you read Matthew 24, or you go to 2 Thessalonians 2, where Paul was talking about it, about end times, throughout history for thousands of years, preachers really did not know, nor did just regular folks reading. They really couldn't make sense of how a lot of the prophecies were even possible to come true. But with the furtherance of technology, for instance, things like the mark of the beast, how is it possible that every human on the earth would have to have the mark of this beast to be able to buy or sell? How could you keep your eyes on every human being on the planet?

Well, up until recently, that was impossible.

So with the advancements of technology, the way we see things going on in this world, I believe that all the things that have been prophesied about in the book of Revelation are now possible to happen. And that struck me really hard one day, and I picked up a guitar, and in about an hour, this song was written, Revelation. To my knowledge, there's never been another song written on this subject and definitely not put forward this way. And I know you've had a chance to see that video. I mean, the video portrays the devil coming through a portal in the woods of fire outside of this country church, and on the other side, here comes Michael the archangel coming straight down from heaven and they meet in the middle with me standing between them and to me that that is the real image of what we're actually looking at in the world today.

John your your team sent this to me and I didn't get any they just said watch this and so I'm thinking this beautiful little white country church I'm like oh this is going to be a and then all of a sudden holy crap uh John Rich what is going I mean it's just so powerful and I just have to brag on the people that put this together because this is something that you would go to the movie theater and see. Yeah, it is beyond anything I've ever shot in a music video, but I'll tell you this. When I wrote the song, I don't even feel like I was not inspired to write it, meaning I didn't sit around thinking, you know what? I ought to write a song about the book of Revelation. It never crossed my mind, but out of nowhere, and I'm sure you've had this experience and folks listening have had it, where God just literally slammed something into your mind.

You can't get away from it. There it is. That's what this song was. It was written in under an hour. I wrote it by myself in a quiet spot at my house.

And I'm walking around my house listening to this little recording I just made. And I look up at the sky out the window and I said, what do you want me to do with this? And he reached back out. And the feeling I had was, John, take it as far as you can possibly take it. meaning the audio recording, the video, the way you talk about it, do not back up off of what this song is saying.

And so that's what I did, and that's why it looks like that. That's why it sounds like that. And I really hope that this song has some serious impact. It should give strength to save people. It should bring conviction to lost people, and it should scare the absolute hell out of the truly wicked people in this world.

Amen. And you're so right. This really is, you know, what we're facing as a country is not a political problem. We are dealing with spiritual warfare in this country right now. And I think even Ronald Reagan back in the 1960s when we were fighting the communists, you know, he framed it as good versus evil.

And, you know, if we don't get back to the church, you know, I really fear for what's going to happen in this country. Yeah, I think America is not immune to God's wrath. I don't think any country ever has been. And so as we see things unwind here in front of us, you really can't control those things. They're so big and so out of our control.

The only thing you can really control is how tight you stick with God, how close you stay to his word and to him personally and ride this thing out. I remind people all the time, Noah was not raptured out of the flood. Noah was told to build a boat and he listened and he built it. And he got mocked incessantly every single day. He was building that boat for a very long period of time.

And then here comes the rain. And Noah and his family were saved. And I think that has been God's MO since the beginning. You can find story after story about he tells his people what they need to do to get through the next level of things in this earth. And I believe that's where we are today.

So I went through my teen years mimicking his sound, learning how to seem like him, and then, of course, later on, got to work with him and the Oak Ridge Boys in the studio many, many times.

So the good news is we know exactly where old Joe is right now. He is exactly where he's supposed to be, running the streets of gold, no more problems.
