Well, I want to dig in here to where we're at with the Colorado situation because now it's beginning to spread, and we told you that this was going to happen yesterday. And honestly, the person with the worst response to all of this is Ron DeSantis.

Now, DeSantis is absolutely gleeful. He says that he is not going to be removing his name from the Colorado ballot. That's been sort of the argument that was proposed by Vivek Ramaswamy. And Vivek says, if Trump's not on the ballot, I'm not on the ballot. And he came right out of the gate.

You got to hand it to the guy. I mean, he can read a room. DeSantis, completely clueless. Cut number one. And real quick, fellow GOP 2024 presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy saying he will remove himself from the Colorado ballot unless Trump's eligibility is restored.

Would you do the same? No, I think that's just playing into the left. I think the case will get overturned by the Supreme Court. But I've qualified for all the ballots. I'm competing in all the states.

And I'm going to accumulate the delegates necessary. That's the whole name of the game in this situation. But I do anticipate that that decision was political and will get reversed. All right.

And it probably will. The question is, what happens next? Because there are a lot of other states that are now stepping up and saying they are going to explore. We told you about California yesterday. Here's the lieutenant governor of California, cut number eight.

We are in uncharted territory in our country. and the decision out of colorado is a very significant fact when the supreme court of colorado determines in an examination of the facts that donald trump is an insurrectionist and therefore is disqualified from being on the ballot certainly here in california we have to look at that information and make the same determination here so this is this is where we're at, and we're just going to lay it all out here, and I have a few thoughts and questions for you. But right now, at least 16 other states have pending legal challenges over whether or not Trump is eligible to run for office, and they're citing the 14th Amendment. But understand this, Trump has not been charged with insurrection. He has not been convicted of any crimes.

None. But this is what lawfare looks like. Four of the lawsuits, Michigan, Oregon, New Jersey, and Wisconsin, have been filed in state courts. Eleven have been filed in federal district courts. Cases in two of the states, Arizona and Michigan, were dismissed by a lower court but have been appealed.

So it could be, by the way, and another challenge has been made in Maine.

So you folks there in WLOB land. I want to run through the states here. These are where the lawsuits are being filed. I mentioned Michigan, Oregon, New Jersey, Wisconsin. Then you've got Alaska, Arizona, Nevada, New York, New Mexico, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Now, look, there's a very good chance that all of these could end up going to the Supreme Court. but this is going to be a long and arduous process. And the question I would have is, will the Supreme Court, will they just come out with a landmark ruling here? Will they utilize the Colorado case as the landmark ruling and say that Trump is eligible and it's a moot point?

So if you've got, for example, you folks in Michigan, tough cookies. we'll check in with our legal folks to find out if that's going to happen but but again we are dealing with what could be the apocalypse when it comes to the presidential race because if trump is kept off these ballots and this is where we're going to play hypothetical here and it may not necessarily be hypothetical but let's just say that trump is not on the ballot what happens what happens if trump is the nominee at that point of the republican party and the democrats the government will not allow the republicans to put their nominee on the ballot take trump out of this right this is really not about trump this is about stopping the opposition Party. This is about the Democrats stopping the Republicans, shutting them down. They are terrified, ladies and gentlemen. They are terrified of losing power because they know that Donald Trump is going to win in a landslide.

If Donald Trump is the legit, if he is allowed to run a legitimate campaign without the other side coming in and causing shenanigans, if the dead people of America are not allowed to vote, Trump wins. I mean, it really is that simple. If the illegal aliens, which are coming across the border by the tens of thousands every single day, are not allowed to vote in the election, Trump wins. But if you take all of these states off of the table here, we've got a problem. And I'm curious, what would you say we do?

What is the response that the America First movement, that the Republican Party should have if Trump is kept off the ballot? What do you do at that point? Because we're going to have to fight one way or the other, and there's no way around it. Does the Republican Party just wave the white flag of surrender and say, okay, that's it? Or do the Republican attorneys general in states like Texas and Tennessee and other states around the country, Georgia, do they get involved and do they declare that Joe Biden has violated his oath of office?

He's violated the 14th Amendment. He's allowed for the invasion of this great nation. And therefore, Joe Biden shouldn't be on the ballot. I don't necessarily have a problem with that. Because Joe Biden has actually committed a crime.

And we know that because we can see in real time the tens of thousands of people that are coming across the border. And Joe Biden is responsible for that, ladies and gentlemen. Do not forget, Joe Biden is responsible. But what I find fascinating here is that the Democrats actually admit now, they're not afraid, look, they're doing this all out in the open. And the only way they're able to do this is nobody's going to call them out on it except for us.

but the Democrats in the New York Times admit that they are using the courts to take out Donald Trump. This is from today's New York Times. Once again, Democrats find themselves looking toward American institutions to stop Mr. Trump, whom they view as a mortal threat to democracy. For many, it may be more pleasant to think about a judicial endgame that stops Mr.

Trump than envisioning the slog of next year's likely rematch against President Biden.

So they are openly admitting that they have weaponized the court system. Do you understand now what's happening here? Do you see the game?

So we have one of two things is going to happen. We are either going to have to fight. And ladies and gentlemen, I do fear a civil war, and it's going to be a weird civil war because it's not going to be north versus south. But if you're telling over 70 million people in America their votes no longer count, their votes no longer matter, and you've got the other side now telling you that we have the right to pick who your nominee is going to be, there's going to be violence in this country. There will be violence if that happens.

This is a very dangerous game the Democrats are playing here.

So we're going to pay very close attention to all of this, but we are in uncharted waters right now. And the Republican, and especially Republican leadership, and directly I'm speaking to all of the never-Trump Republicans, this isn't about Trump anymore. This is about the country. This is about the republic. This is about the right to have a fair election.

It's not about Trump anymore. And if they can't get their heads wrapped around that, then we're going to lose the day on this. But thank goodness we have a majority on the Supreme Court. If the Supreme Court is doing the right thing, they reject the Colorado case unanimously. And they give Trump the victory there.

But it's not over. And that's the whole point. This is going to be going on for quite some time.

So it could be that we get to weeks before the election and you've got Trump not on the ballot in some of these states. That's where all of this is going.

So anyway, we're going to open up the phone lines here. Do you share my concerns? And my question is, what do you do? I mean, they're backing the America First movement into a corner here. And you're going to have one of two choices.

You're going to be able to fight or you just surrender and you let the Democrats rule this nation. I mean, it really is going to be that simple because it's not going to stop with Trump. So, yeah, it's absolutely possible for that to happen. As a matter of fact, that's the scuttlebutt in Chicago, where if Joe Biden refuses to drop out, they actually introduce a new candidate at the DNC. That would be Michelle Obama. But, yeah, they can do that.

Well, I was just curious about that because that way it would just, well, the Supreme Court rules, you know, between now and then anyway. I mean, that would be the thing to do is for a delegate to have a plan just to flip and give them to him. You know, I give the delegates to him anyway. If you have the evidence, which we now do, thanks to the New York Times, we've got the evidence that the Democrats are intentionally using the court system. They've weaponized the courts and they're trying to take out their chief political opponent.

That, to me, needs to be investigated. That is that is vote that is election interference well the media's denying people a right to vote too uh yes sir it is absolutely and by the way the last time the last time that happened this is not the first time by the way the last time that happened it was also a republican president by the name of abraham lincoln i didn't know it jim well i appreciate you taking my call my friend all right thank you jim uh in lakeland tennessee great american patriot let's go to kathy in oregon listening to us on the great k-y-k-n hi kathy what's on your mind so i used to be a moderate republican and i looked at the Republican candidates and I looked at Democratic candidates and I thought about the things that were important to me and I voted accordingly. Since this whole thing was Trump, since he was elected and they had treated him so underhandedly and not allowed him to do his job and everything has just been atrocious, I've gone straight Republican down the road, don't even care who the candidate is. Republican, my candidate. And I know that's not wise, but I feel like the Christians are doing a corner where, as little individuals, that's all I can do.

Kathy, look, no, I sympathize with you. My dad taught me as a boy, vote for the person, not the party. But by and large, if you're voting Republican, then there's a good chance that you're going to get what you vote for. with the Democrats. I just don't see how a liberal Democrat would even feel at home in this radically progressive party now.

What's on my mind is that I don't like the way Trump's being treated with all these scam charges He has done nothing but take care of our country and I'm upset with the Republican Party for letting it just happen They should do something, stand by him and do something But there's a lot of Republicans. I've been a Republican all my life. I vote for Reagan and I just don't like what's going on even with the Republican Party.

They should do something to stop this. What do you think they ought to do, Mark? What do you want the Republicans to do here? To stand with Trump and impeach these people. Biden said that he would never let Trump ever go into office again.

And he's using the whole government to attack Trump.

So we need to do something and try to do something at least and stand with Trump and stop this, what's going on.

Some of the things coming out of Joe Biden, Mark, are incredibly disturbing. Yesterday, the president writing this on X, he says, Trump poses many threats to our country, the right to choose, civil rights, voting rights, and America's standing in the world. But the greatest threat he poses is to our democracy. If we lose that, we lose everything. This is incredibly charged language coming from the president of the United States.

And by the way, the only person attacking voting rights here is the Colorado Supreme Court and all these other courts that are controlled by radical Democrats. Yes, they are, because they're using it to stop Trump. They're using it to stop Trump. They want any way they can not to have Trump in office, and they're doing whatever they can. I'm a Constitutionist.

I believe in the Constitution, but they're destroying the Constitution. Mark, I got a question. Well, I just wanted to point out that, like everything else that liberals do, this is absolutely nothing but show. The Colorado Supreme Court wrote in a state, if President Trump appealed to the Supreme Court, it stayed.

So it's absolutely moot, and it's just like everything liberals do. It's all about appearance and no substance, from their climate change, flying the big jets, to school choice, where they make us take our kids to failed public schools, and they send their kids to private schools. And you're absolutely right, Todd, about who his opponent is going to be. It's going to be Michelle Obama. And that scares me to death because there are enough low and no information voters out there.

She just might get legitimately elected. Yes, and I was one of the first to acknowledge that. It will be all hands on deck, Art. If that happens, we're going to have to have every single conservative, every single Republican's got to get out and vote or else she's going to win. Because she will energize that party like nobody else.

he'll lose he'll lose all the gains he's made with with uh with the um hispanic and african american voters and young voters i mean he's made some huge gains in the polls here the last three months and i did not well not necessarily uh art because um one of the interesting things about barack obama he is not beloved by the overall black community in this in this nation because Obama really did not do much for the black community when he was president. And if Trump, and this is all about imaging and messaging, but if Trump is able to get out there and, you know, convey the fact that they live in these multimillion dollar mansions, they have multiple mansions, that they're out of touch with the average person, I don't, I think Trump could could maintain his leads among the black community in America. And he's had more black support than any other Republican president.

So it's not going to be impossible, but it is going to be difficult. There's going to be a lot of work there. Art, God, one more thought. Finish your thought, Art. I was just going to agree with you that, you know, if they look at what's actually been done, they'll pick Trump.

now keep in mind so not only is trump having to battle with the colorado supreme court and all these other states then you've got all the these trumped up charges in the the trials and our good buddy Jim Jordan's threatening to subpoena Jack Smith because it's very clear now, folks, this is all about politics. And we had Trump on the show, what was it, last week, week before last? And he just nailed it. Trump said, look, if I had not been running, I would not have been charged with anything. This is all about keeping him off the ballot in 2024.

for it. That's what it's about. And it's really sad that someone like Ron DeSantis is not getting it. He's just not getting it. And it saddens me because I think DeSantis has done a great job as governor of Florida.

And I know, look, in the heat of politics, I know what Team Trump is saying about DeSantis and the back and forth, and I get that. But the reality is DeSantis did a good job. but he has run one of the worst presidential campaigns I have ever seen, and I've covered a lot of them, a lot of them, going back to, wow, the H.W. And if this were to go through with the Supreme Court, the United States Supreme Court, you know, they could do whatever they wanted moving forward with people and not allowing certain people to run and everything. well why is it you know because we realize that most people um you know it cost a lot of money to do the toll-free and then most people with their current wireless plans uh the long distance uh is included in it so um we decided to do that free yeah because i like the toll-free i mean i really did like the toll-free one because when you have a cell phone for example and you call and that well even with the other, but still, it's just when you have to hold so long and all of that. Anyway, we received word yesterday that we would be getting a list of people that are connected to the notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who was suicided, if you recall. We are getting word that 170 names are going to be released. Three names will be redacted. on this list and a lot of people are wondering who's on the list senator marcia blackburn says finally we are hearing members of the u.s government senators about the need for transparency and a call to arms for accountability there's going to be a lot of nervous people over christmas and New Year's, 170 to be exact, who's on the naughty list? They say one president.

One president is on that list. Who do you think it is? Is it William Jefferson Clinton?

Well, Todd, I can't comment on that. Not in front of Hillary. Is it going to be? Is it Clinton? is it no it's not GW he's a he's a pretty much a straight shooter uh what about Barack what about Barack Hussein Obama who do you think is on that list so anyway we're gonna the judge ordering the unsealing of documents which will identify dozens of people and the list it's a who's who apparently of of Washington DC and I keep going back to North Carolina Congressman Madison Cawthorn who was involved in his own sexcapades, and he tried to tell us that basically Washington, D.C.

was Sodom and Gomorrah on steroids. He tried to tell us that, and I don't think a lot of people actually believed him, but it's turning out that this could be true. Journalists, investigators, victims, associates, all sorts of people that will be identified on these lists. The inner circle of Jeffrey Epstein remains a topic of great interest to the public. The financier had ties to all sorts of people, from politicians to Hollywood stars.

You know what I find interesting? The guy had more money than the Almighty, and yet nobody knows what this guy did for a living. It's all very strange. Could be this guy was in the extortion business. He provided the girls underage, and in exchange, they had to pay him off for the rest of their lives.

Epstein died in New York City in 2019, federal jail cell. Many people say he was suicided. It is certainly suspicious.

So anyway, we'll figure all this out. Blackburn goes on to say, it appears that bad actors within our government are going to great lengths to protect the pedophiles who took Jeffrey Epstein's private jet. I will not stop working to reveal their identities. The American people deserve to know every name on that list. Do you agree with the senator?

Should we demand that these names be released? And by the way, why is it that Dick Durbin, why is it that Dick continues to stop efforts to release all of these names? He's the guy. If Dick Durbin, if he was thinking correctly here, he would be the hero of the ages. Unless his name is on the list, too.

I work with the polls every year as a manager. And I understand that they are going to take the name off the ballot, But people can write in a ballot. I mean, we've seen them for Mickey Mouse, you know, and I would really rather go for Donald Trump. No, I hear you, Diane.

Now, and it depends on what state you're in. States have different rules. I mean, you can write somebody's name in. Whether or not that vote will count depends on what state you're in, because each state has its own rules and regulations.

so then the write-in vote isn't really a viable it depends you would need to check in at your at the south carolina secretary of states or the board of elections and i'm sure they typically have those rules or regulations posted online and i i'd see because i never ran across that you know that kind of a problem but diane let's get real that's that's going to be it's not out of the it's not impossible but it's pretty darn near impossible to win an election if your name is not on the ballot and you're expecting people to write in and um i do i mean i hope people will do it anyway and i don't don't fall for the old you oh no you can't do that because there's a lot of things you can do a lot of things you could undo in in the voting you know place fair enough yeah well diane thank you for calling in thank you for listening have a merry christmas in your beautiful state the palmetto state ladies and gentlemen 901-260-5926 let's go to pennsylvania phil is on the line hi phil what say you yeah mr storms thanks for taking my call uh the question i have is uh with joe biden why isn't there one news agency or one politician this country trying to get him charged with treason. I mean, the day one he got in, he opened up our border. Number one job of the president is to keep our border secure, which he hasn't done. And soon after that, left Afghanistan and gave our enemies over there $85 billion worth of our military equipment. And not one person, I mean, I think we're way past impeachment.

I think charges of treason should be brought in to our body. And that's not even bringing up the fact he's taken millions of dollars from countries all over the world, including China.

So you want Biden brought up on charges of treason. What would be the evidence? You're the prosecutor. What's the evidence? His number one job is to protect the borders of the United States of America.

from day one when he got in there he opened up the southern border and we got eight and a half million people in this country we shouldn't have at a cost of 450 billion dollars a year that's 1.3 trillion dollars now where's that not treason well it's it's covered in when you look at the actual definition of treason um it you could make a very strong argument there is a stronger argument in favor of treason than the charges that have been brought against Donald Trump. When you actually look at what you can charge someone when it comes to treason, Joe Biden could be brought up on those charges simply for his refusal to secure the border and to stop the states from being invaded.

So he is violating not only his oath of office, but he's also violating the Constitution. Right. That's my argument. Yeah. And nobody's talking about treason.

I mean, he's the man. I mean, the buck stops here. I mean, you can blame us on Merrick Garland or Christopher Wray or wherever you want to, but he's the one.

Well, he's not the one dictating. We don't know who's running the country, but he's the one who should be taking responsibility. But you see, I was of the opinion, and this was a very unpopular opinion back in the day, Phil, But I believe that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton should have been brought up on charges of treason. Because what is treason? Treason is the act of attempting to overthrow a government or assisting its enemies in war.

And when you look at what they did to Donald Trump with the fake Russia collusion hoax, all of that stuff, that was an attempt to, number one, sabotage a presidential election. And then once the guy got elected, they tried to overthrow a duly elected president.

So there are a lot of people who legitimately could have been charged with treason. But the Republicans just don't have the, dare I say, man parts to do the job. Right. And I agree with you 100 percent. This is far with that fake dossier they made up.

But here's the point, and you're going to agree with me 100%. Nothing's ever going to change in our politics if people aren't held accountable. I mean, he arrested one low-level lawyer out of the Democratic Party, and he's back on his job. But these people that started this whole thing, and I'm with you 100%, this should be going back to Barack Obama and them. But if you're not going to charge these people and put them in jail, nothing's ever going to happen.

And who thinks when Donald Trump wins the election this next year, do you think Joe Biden is just going to leave the White House and say, OK, I don't think so. The Democrats aren't going to let that happen. Phil, just think about this. And I appreciate you. I appreciate your call.

Let's go to Wisconsin. Jerry the Liberal joins us. Hi, Jerry. It's been a while. What's going on?

Okay, Todd. I don't completely disagree with everything you're saying. I'm not sure about the denial of Trump on the ballot in Colorado. There's a couple things. I mean, the 14th Amendment isn't clear what is the mechanism to stop someone from being on the presidential ballot or being on any ballot.

But it doesn't take a conviction because after the Civil War, the Confederate officers were really never convicted in a court of law. They were just barred because they were part of an insurrection.

Now, has Trump done an insurrection himself? I don't know, but I think he inspired an insurrection.

Some people were trying to stop the count. They were trying to stop the count on January 6th and that would never have happened without Donald Trump Now Donald Trump didn give specific orders to do that So I don know if he violated the law but I think he comes pretty close to it And I think his actions were despicable I think basically it was a tantrum And that quite contrast to Joe Biden Joe Biden has allocated billion for border security This idea that we have no border security under Joe Biden is a myth You know, you could disagree with the public policy of Joe Biden. That's fine. But disagreeing with public policy doesn't mean he's guilty of treason, which is absurd.

Well, but all right.

So define that. Define invasion, Jerry. What what does that word mean to you?

Well, one, immigrants coming across the border is not invasion. It's an actual foreign nation state. They're not the loose. These are migrants who are trying to get a better life.

Now. All right.

Wait a second. Wait a second. There's a video right now that's trending on social media that's showing these military-aged young men coming across the border wearing Gucci. Does that to you tell you that these are impoverished people?

Well, some of them are impoverished. Maybe, but most of them aren't. But even if you say the policy is wrong, and again, we spend billions of dollars on border security.

So this idea that we have open borders is absurd. How do we have open borders when we're spending over $20 billion on border security? But that's the policy. Disagree with the policy how you want, but just a difference in policy doesn't make it treason. Treason is very well defined.

Jerry, here's how I would bring charges against Biden. Welcome back. A New York Post, ladies and gentlemen. Reading from today's edition, David Proper, Salim Algar, Vaughn Golden, and Carl Campanale, the authors. It took four people to write this. Hmm.

Okay.

The headline, New York lost nearly 102,000 residents in one year, most in the nation. That's according to the new Census Bureau numbers. And people are packing up and they're getting out of blue states. One of eight states to face a net decline in residents. While red states, including Texas and Florida, saw the largest growth in population.

Merry Christmas to you. Are you surprised to hear those numbers that people are getting out of Dodge? Not at all. Not at all. And some of them were buying winter coats and moving to Montana.

yeah i saw i was wondering how much of that is because it's the land of the free or people that have watched yellowstone and you know want to uh embrace their inner idolo um cowboy yeah they they do that for about the first uh day until they sit down on a cactus a prickly pear cactus out there on the prairie and then and then they start getting serious about it that'll get you on the straight and narrow.

So, hey, Congressman, real curious to hear your thoughts on the news. President Trump kicked off the Colorado ballot. California now looking at their options. A number of other blue states already have lawsuits in the pipeline. How do you see all of this playing out?

It's disgraceful display of a complete rejection of due process. How in the world is it that a senile old man who's currently sitting in the president's position in the White House comes out and declares that President Trump was responsible for an insurrection. No one else has. And we know that this is a very, very serious crime that was not committed just because a bunch of people decided to go to Washington, D.C. on January the 6th of 21 and voice their opinion legally.

and then, yeah, some of them did enter the Capitol wrongly, but the president had nothing to do with that, and now all of a sudden we're going to ignore due process. We're going to strike him from the ballot, and as I say, Colorado's new motto is, if you can't beat them, cheat them. And unfortunately, we're going to see a couple of other states try to pick this up. It will be overturned by the Supreme Court, the U.S. Supreme Court, And so my hope is that we can get back and encourage the state, the U.S.

Supreme Court, to pick this up sooner rather than later to make sure that the president is able to participate in ballots across the nation. Let's just say that, and again, there are so many other multiple states. Is it possible for the Supreme Court just to come out and issue a blanket ruling here, or will every one of these cases have to go to the Supreme Court? You know, I am not a legal scholar and didn't even stay in a Holiday Inn last night. But I would think that once the U.S.

Supreme Court comes out and strikes that down, that the other states would then have to abide by that precedent. And again, the New York Times coming out and Team Trump really promoting this column that came out today, or this news story, rather. And I'm going to read to this and get your reaction. Once again, Democrats find themselves looking toward American institutions to stop Mr. Trump, whom they view as a mortal threat to democracy.

It seems to me they're openly admitting that this is all about politics here, Congressman. It is all about politics. This is nothing more than election interference. We know that that's what it is. It's a disgraceful display as such.

We saw Donald Trump perform better and be more effective in the White House than any president I'm 63, any president in my time, okay And it horrified the left that he could possibly go back again But he will, he will win the nomination Even his opponents in the primary recognize that this is not acceptable and we're already having conversations or hearing conversations from them that they will withdraw from ballots as well if these states kick him off of the primary ballot. And this is why, Todd, that people across the nation are losing confidence in our institutions. And when you start losing confidence in these institutions, that's when chaos erupts. Chaos is not erupting because a handful of brave individuals decided to remove Kevin McCarthy, who was a lousy speaker, who spent money that the taxpayers did not want him to. That's not chaos.

That's debate. That's our republic at work. But what is chaos is when you have different people within the government completely disregarding due process and the rule of law like we see in these elections, like we see with Secretary Mayorkas down on the southern border allowing this invasion to take place. And like we see when Joe Biden doesn't allow us to develop our natural resources to help us reduce inflation and reduce our reliance on foreign countries. Congressman, you also introduced what I consider to be very important legislation. It is a bill to protect American farmland from being scooped up by countries like China. Tell us about your bill. Yeah, it's called the Land Act, and that is to keep these adversarial foreign countries or individuals from coming in and purchasing our land, whether it's for nefarious purposes to spy on us or whether it's just to take our production and either eliminate it or ship it overseas.

And so I've signed on to a bunch of other members who have tried to develop something that was going to withstand the court challenges that we know this will sustain. And so I think that we have come across the right combination, Todd. And so what this legislation says is that we're going to treat you, foreign citizens, the same way that you treat American citizens. And in China, American citizens are not allowed to buy land. And so we're saying, okay, you're not allowed to buy land here.

If you have dual citizenship, guess what? we're going to go to the most restrictive citizenship that you have, how they treat American citizens.

So if you have China and you also have an American citizenship, okay, dual citizen, we're going to go to the more restrictive and treat you as per the Chinese one. If it's a corporation, we're going to go to any group or individual that owns 5% of that corporation, we're going to go to their citizenship and hold the most restrictive guidelines there.

Now, we're starting off with agricultural land and with these requirements in place, Todd, because I really believe that this will withstand court challenges. Any sale that takes place, it has to be reported to the Secretary of Agriculture, and then the Secretary of Agriculture reports it to the senators and the representatives in that specific state. And so we're putting this tracking device in place. And again, it doesn't matter whether they're trying to purchase it for nefarious purposes to spy on our military installations or sensitive communication networks, or whether they're just buying it to try and capture our production, our productivity here. It shouldn't be taking place.

And I think this bill will take care of it. I love it. Folks, call your elected representatives in Congress and tell them to get on board the Land Act, the Land and National Defense Act, to protect American farmland from foreign adversaries and also land near our military bases. It's just common sense legislation here, folks. Congressman, we've got to leave it there.

Happy to have you with us today, ladies and gentlemen, and a lot going on as we work our way through these attacks on the republic, these attacks on democracy. And contrary to what the media is telling you, contrary to what the Democrats are telling you, it is, in fact, Joe Biden and the Democrat Party who are the threats to the republic right now. And we're going to be taking your calls on that.

Very curious to hear what you think about the Republican efforts to try and get Joe Biden removed from the presidential ballot in 2024 because of the violations to the oath of office. The president has failed to protect us from enemies, foreign and domestic. The president has also failed to protect the states from invasion, which is a responsibility of the federal government.

This is a compilation of Democrats celebrating Colorado's decision to remove President Trump from the ballot. Those who crow endlessly about threats to democracy seem to be pretty happy about taking it away from voters in Colorado. This is not a crazy thing for a democracy to do. It's very much like the reasoning of the conservative legal community. The conservatives on the Supreme Court who usually go on and on and on about states' rights are hypocrites.

He was an enemy of the Constitution. Simply a plain reading of the U.S. Constitution. This is not partisan. This is about applying historic principles.

What do you say to the Republican candidate's argument that the voters should have the say and not the courts? why are you standing with Confederates who betrayed this country?

So there you go, folks, and there you have it. The Democrats are framing this that all of you Trump supporters out there, and I count myself as one of them, are somehow worse than the slaveholders during the Confederacy.

So curious to hear your thoughts on this as we move to some uncharted waters. And I will say this, it's not just Colorado. There are many other states that have filed lawsuits, and lawsuits are in the pipeline.

So this is going to be an issue as we move into 2024. But I just want to be very clear here, folks. This is a very dangerous time in American history. And the idea that some states could literally remove Donald Trump from the ballot simply because they don't like his politics is not only un-American, it's against the law. This is what lawfare actually looks like.

All right, let's go to John listening to us on KWAM from Kentucky. Hi, John, what's on your mind? Hey there, Mr. Starnes. First of all, since everybody thinks we're against this republic, so that does make us a confederate.

I guess anybody that supports Trump is a confederate.

So therefore, I will bear that title proudly, okay? Because if they accuse us of being enemies of this great republic, then I guess that makes us confederate, even though we are proud Americans.

So what I'm getting here is that because they're trying to remove the name of President Trump off the ballot, it seems like the left has really been pushing the people of the state into acts possibly.

Now, forget, you know, you're a reasonable man, but it seems like they're pushing for us into a violent confrontation. I don't know if you remember the story about what happened in Athens, Tennessee. I think it was in the 40s or early 50s. where they pushed the citizens of Athens, Tennessee, to the point of actually going in, taking up arms, and confiscating the ballot boxes, because they accused the city government, as well as law enforcement, of stuffing ballot boxes. But it just seems like they are accusing us of something that we are not.

We are all proud Americans. Even the Confederates were American. And my descendants in the Confederacy never owned slaves. They were farmers.

So I just want to listen to your opinion on this, Todd. God bless you, and have a very Merry Christmas.

Well, thank you, John. And yes, the case you're referring to was actually from Athens, Tennessee. In 1946, there was a huge, huge election. They were expecting some 12,000 voters to go to the polls in that particular election cycle. And the reporters, and again, there was a siege.

There was a hostage situation. There was gunfire. It was pretty insane. They later called it the Battle of Athens, but it involved a bunch of World War II veterans who opposed the local sheriff. And the comparisons back in, there were actually comparisons made between what happened in Athens, Tennessee, back in 1946, and what happened in our election during 2020.

So I share those concerns. People talk a lot about civil war, but this is not going to be some sort of a civil war because, again, we're not talking about north versus south. We're not talking about regions. We're actually talking about political ideologies.

So we've got to be careful, folks, because we are dealing with a literal powder keg right now. All right.

I think we've got Vicki back on the line from Hendersonville, North Carolina. Hi, Vicki. What's on your mind? Hey, Todd. Nice to speak to you.

I'm calling regarding that gentleman that called a little while ago saying that Joe Biden should be brought up on charges of treason. And I agree with that wholeheartedly. I think there's enough out there that he could be charged very easily. But the problem is we don't have the vote to get that through because the House would have to be majority and the Senate would have to be majority. and I think it would have to be a two-thirds majority on one or both of those houses.

That's number one. Number two, even if that were to happen, Merrick Garland will never issue the arrest warrant.

So it's not going to happen.

Well and Vicki again the way that works is that the House would bring the articles of impeachment against the president and then the Senate would be responsible for holding the trial So both houses of Congress have very distinct roles and responsibilities if in fact Biden is impeached. I don't think it's going to happen, Vicki. I just, I don't believe that the Republicans in the House are going to have the wherewithal, the fortitude to do this. I really don't. If they haven't done it by now, I just don't see that happening.

Well, one of the big problems that we have seen all across America, ladies and gentlemen, has been the rise in crime and violence. It is off the charts in big cities and small cities. Perhaps ground zero is Memphis, Tennessee, my hometown, where we now have a higher crime rate. More people have been murdered and shot in Memphis, Tennessee than in New York City. More cars have been stolen.

More cars have been carjacked in Memphis, Tennessee than New York City or Los Angeles. It's just unbelievable. But there is one man who is standing up and he is fighting back. He has declared war on our George Soros-styled district attorney, a guy by the name of Steve Mulroy. I want to welcome from the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, State Senator Brent Taylor.

Senator Taylor, thanks for coming on the show today. Thank you, Todd, very much for having me, and Merry Christmas.

Well, Merry Christmas to you, and I'm curious why you are taking such a hard-line approach here on the crime issue in Memphis.

Well, it's mainly because we are in a crisis situation in Memphis, and we are witnessing the hollowing out of a great southern city because of the the policies that are put forth by um by our progressive va and he is obsessed with these restorative justice schemes that are not making us safer we're less safe because of it and uh and i just think it's critically important we call that out and i'm going to do what i can in the legislature when And we reconvene in January to bring about some bills that will force our DA to do what he was elected to do, and that is to prosecute people. Look, we don't need a progressive DA. What we need is an aggressive DA. And I'm going to do what I can from Nashville in the legislation to try to make sure that our DA gets a tough on crime.

Now, it should be noted that you have been an incredibly successful businessman. man. You have held multiple elected offices in the Memphis and the Shelby County area, and yet the district attorney's only attack line against you is, well, you're not an attorney, so you really don't understand the legalese.

Well, he is correct. I am not an attorney, But I am a lawmaker And I am on the Judiciary Committee And the DA and the Judicial District and the judges All of the authority that they have Comes from the General Assembly So the DA and the judges And all the members of the justice system And this Judicial District Will do exactly what this non-lawyer And what I can convince 16 other senators To go along with me on that's exactly what they'll do. And so I'm not a lawyer, but I'm also not a veterinarian, and I know a horse's ass when I see them.

Well, fair enough. Wow. Good for you. Senator, one of the things I appreciate about the plan is that you also want to hold parents accountable. We're talking about children as young as eight, nine years old that are literally out there carjacking people.

I know it's hard for folks around the country to understand just how bad things are here in this area of the country. It really is. And part of the reason I wanted to try to hold parents accountable is I think in many cases, Todd, the parents are actually benefiting from the spoils of the criminal actions of their kids. And because, look, If there's a parent knows when their child is not home when curfew begins, a parent knows when their child is not in bed at night, a parent knows when their child is not in school. And a parent knows when a child shows up in a car that's not the family car that's parked outside.

And a parent knows when a child has provisions without the proper means to pay for those provisions. And look, families have a right to govern their households the way they want.

So when the parent has raising their kids is about the 20th item on their to-do list and their child is out wreaking havoc in the community, it is the responsibility of government to not only hold that child accountable for their criminal actions, but we also need to hold the parents accountable. There have to be consequences for not properly parenting your kids.

Now, Senator, I'm curious to hear your thoughts and to understand what you've been hearing from the black community in Memphis. The city is majority-minority, and a lot of people are trying to frame this as a race issue when it's really not. What are you hearing from black citizens in Memphis? You know, Todd, it's been amazing that most of the support I've gotten in terms of emails and text messages and telephone calls really has been from the African-American community. because they are the most impacted by this crime crisis that we find ourselves in.

And the leadership in the black community, for the most part, has been largely absent in my crusade to try to save Memphis. And so I've heard from a lot of people throughout the community, both black and white, thanking me for standing up and doing what is necessary to try to bend this crime curve, if you will, to try to make our city safe. Yesterday I had a press conference, and there was a black couple that showed up who live in a part of Memphis called Whitehaven. It's probably 30 miles from my district. But they showed up at the press conference, and they had actually heard me tied on your Memphis affiliate KWAM, the 9990, because that radio station had been playing in the background for the dentist's office where they go to have their teeth cleaned.

And they heard that I was going to have this press conference, and they drove the 30 miles and wanted to come meet me. And this gentleman's brother had been murdered 40 years ago, and our DA had worked with a local judge to get him removed from death row and eligible for parole this time next year. And they wanted to come and thank me for my efforts in protecting his brother's legacy but also fighting crime in Shelby County. That's the kind of reaction I'm getting from the black community here in Memphis. We've only got about 30 seconds here, Senator.

What message do you have for other state lawmakers? They're dealing with a very similar issue in their cities. What do you recommend they do?

Well, in Tennessee, most of the crime issues are here in Memphis, and I have worked with other lawmakers, leadership in the Senate, and I have opened their eyes, and they are committed to help me solve Memphis' crime problem. It's pretty simple. It's worked since Moby Dick was a minnow, and that is if you catch people and you have evidence, you prosecute them. If they're found guilty, you put them in jail. And that has worked since Moby Dick was a minnow, and it'll work now.

Well, and I think it's a great plan of attack that other cities and communities across America could certainly take advantage of.

So, Senator, we wish you the very best, and we appreciate you fighting the good fight. And let's see Memphis come out of this, and let's make Memphis great again. Senator, thank you very much. Thank you. I appreciate it.

What's on your mind, Rich? The guy you just had on pretty much summed up, you and him, Memphis, and I feel the same way. It was a grand southern city. I want to quickly, I heard something the other day, and I dreamed up a little extra, but real quick. The very last Marxist, the very last Biden type, the very last lying on their deathbed in the future, They say, well, all your system has failed since March.

It's all failed. What do you want? What do you need? None of it works. And his answer was more.

And as far as Memphis, I really want the people that are breaking in and doing all this stuff, they need to get fair notice in the news. but they need to get hot lead or pellets up on their butt. I mean, I'm serious. This stuff of working it out through Tribunal Council, Nashville, Memphis, it's great, but it really ain't going to do a lot. They've already brought in all the extra highway patrol.

They brought in the task force from D.C. They really got me inspired. They really did, and I'm sure they're doing all they can, but nothing's changed.

Well, it's not going to change until these people are prosecuted. And one of the other big challenges is not just a radical district attorney, but here in the Memphis area, you have judges that are releasing these people without bond right back out onto the street. And many of them are very, very bad people. And again, we are literally talking about children as young as eight years old out there stealing cars here in Memphis. It's just not sustainable.

And you're right, Rich. Memphis is a beautiful southern city, great people here, lots of great culture. But the reality is that Democrats have ruled this city for generations over 50, 60 years, and they own everything that has happened in this town. Rich, got to run. Thank you for listening today.

Now, I'm very intrigued by this audio that you're about to hear. There's a young lady who is a liberal, and she is not a liberal anymore. She's not a feminist anymore. She has turned away. She used to be a card-carrying feminazi, and now she is no longer a card-carrying feminazi because she actually went out with a manly man on a date.

And I'll explain what I mean by that in just a moment. Cut number four, please. Guys, I went on a date this week, and I felt the feminism leaving my body. I live on the east side of L.A., and if you don't know what that means, it's sort of like the artsier part of L.A., you know. People say it's like Brooklyn and New York.

So I go on dates with a lot of men and women who live over here. There's always a negotiation about who pays, and that's great. I like to pay for people, all that. But what I will say is that I sort of fell into going on a date with the most guys guy I've ever been on a date with. And he's from West West, you know, Santa Monica.

He's a bro, right? A guys guy is usually not my type. Like I cannot remember the last time that I went on a date with like a straight bros bro. You know what I'm saying? But it befell me.

It befell me in an organic fashion.

So I'm on this date with this guy. And the thing about a guy's guy is he's putting his card down. He's paying for everything. And I really just sort of activated something feral in me. I'm not going to lie.

He went to like another bar and he went, he was going to go to the bathroom.

So I was getting prepared to pay for our drinks because he's been paying all night. Of course, I'm going to pay for the next round. But as he's going to leave for the bathroom, he turns to me and he hands me his credit card. And he goes, here's my card. Get us whatever.

It might be time for me to get away from all these, you know, liberal snowflakes on the east side.

Well, wow.

So I'm excited about this.

Well done, whoever this man was.

Now, if you're going to be dating a liberal guy, he's probably going to be wearing, I don't know, Birkenstocks, and he smells of patchouli oil. He's probably not good at hygiene. he has a man bun and the guy probably doesn't have a job but if he does he's probably going to make you um if you're out on a date with this guy he's going to make you either foot the bill or you're going to have to go dutch in other words he'll pay his for what he ordered and you'll have to pay for what you ordered but ladies do you do you like that in a minute do you do you want a man who is going to treat you as a queen or a princess? Ladies, do you want a man who is going to walk up to the front door of your home and knock on the door and then walk you to the car and open the door and then make sure that you're in the car and then close the door? And then he pulls the seat out for you at the restaurant.

do you do you want a man who is going to to take care of the date it doesn't matter if it's the first date or it's the fifth date he's gonna he's gonna pick up the the the tab is that the kind of a man you want or do you want a guy who just pulls up in his i don't know what is a car that um the the liberal guy a little tesla uh you pull up into the tesla and you're honking on the horn of the um the electric car, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. And he's just sitting there and he's waiting for you. You have to walk out on your own. There's no umbrella.

So you got to bring your own umbrella. It's raining outside. And then he's got the door locked. And so he's fidgeting around with the door. It's pouring down rain and you're getting drenched.

And then he tells you, you know, don't get water on the seats. And then he takes you to some sort of an I don't know. You're not going to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse with a liberal guy. You're going to be going to, I don't know, some little sushi bar or someplace where they serve those liquefied lawn clipping drinks. You know what I'm talking about.

So would you rather, ladies of the Todd Stearns radio show audience, would you rather date a man who takes you to a steakhouse and treats you like a queen? or do you want one of these soy boy pajama boys that takes you down to the local Inolo salad shop? 901-260-5926. That doesn't mean they're not capable of it. I mean, Grandma Starnes knew how to wield a cast iron skillet. She knew what, right?

So I'm just saying that by and large, am I stepping into something here, Dylan, as just you're cringing right now? I'm agreeing with you. Are you?

So when you take out your lovely, you've been dating for a long time now. Yes. And so do you foot the bill or do you make her pay for them? I try my best to get it each time. She's in the medical industry.

She is.

So she's making the big bucks. She's got the dough, as they say. All right.

um you said it exactly right the right way of thinking um we definitely need our boys to be raised as masculine men the way it's always been and um i would definitely do uh choose a conservative man over a liberal man any day i'm curious when you were out there dating did you ever had the unfortunate experience of dating a liberal dude? No. I'm glad I didn't. I, you know, I know some guys in the southern, some dads in the southern states, and this is honest to goodness truth, they'd sit there on the front porch cleaning their rifles on date number one.

So just a, you know, just a little bit of passive aggressive behavior, but the young man understands what he's getting into. Exactly. And I think that with everything that's been going on in the world and catering to the 1%, I think it's time for the masculine men to step up and teach these boys to be men the way they're meant to be. Because all these liberal women that think that they can live without a man, And they need a man to do all the work that they're not willing to do. Andrea, it's a great point.

Thank you for asking. That's good. I reference to your dating promise. A lot of women are independent today. They've been kind of forced in that position.

But I think strong women also appreciate men that will open the door and show that type of respect. because if they can start out doing the little things, it's probably almost assured that they're going to be a pretty good partner in life. It's called respect. Kay, you're right. It is called respect.

It's being chivalrous. And unfortunately, that's something that you just don't see a lot of these days. I remember when I was a kid, as a child, it was do not speak unless you're spoken to. and when you are spoken to you respond by a yes ma'am or a no ma'am no sir or a yes sir right exactly you could never uh and growing up my parents pretty much taught us that we have to address adults by mr or mrs and um in reference to the men today i raised two boys pretty much on my own. And who they are as people today, I keep saying over and over again, oh my God, I wish there were more men like them in the world because they're such great human beings.

Well, good for you, Kay.

Now, are they married now? Do they have families of their own? Yes, they are married now. They have families of their own and they're just super people.

Well, you did a great job, Kay. I think some of the men in the dating world today has been through so much as women, and sometimes there's just a lot of, I don't know, excess baggage that comes with that. Kay, it's a fair point you're making. I would want him to want to treat me like a queen. I would want him to feel good about opening doors for me. That's the basis of our country, our foundation, and our lives. Too many people have fallen into do what your passion desires, not follow the nature of things the way God made them. And that's leading to the destruction of our country, our world.

I think it's a fair point. I will say this, Michaela. One of the things I've noticed that if you're out on a date and the guy you're dating has more makeup on than you do, it's probably not a good thing. You probably just need to move on. Right, but that's not the only thing, because I am almost 67.

I'll be 67 in February, and I made a promise to God back in 2013 that I would never be with a man unless and until we were married in front of God, by God, and for God. And I make that very clear on dates, and you know every single one of them but one has walked away from me. Wow.
