Todd Starns. All right. Hello, everybody. Hope you're doing well. Welcome to the Tot Starrance Radio Show.
Welcome President Trump back to Twitter. And apparently, President and his team have petitioned Facebook to let him back on. Facebook, so we'll keep you updated on how that's going. I'm glad the President's doing that. He needs to be back in the mix on Twitter.
And I know this is politically incorrect to say, but Truth Social kind of sucks. I mean, it really does. I've tried it. I've given it a shot. It's just, you know, it's not Twitter and it's not Facebook.
And it's trying to be, but I would much rather hang out with the good people over at Gatter. But anyway, President Trump is hopping back on the social media platforms, and we'll keep you updated on that development.
So, look, I wanted to start out today, and we got a lot of, we're going to be talking a lot about politics. We have Congressman Dan Bishop joining us. Also, Congressman Bob Good is going to be here in just a few moments, as well as the Missouri Attorney General, who has been pushing this investigation of big tech. But I want to start with this. This Philadelphia Flyers hockey player from the National Hockey, the National Hockey League, the NHL.
His name is Ivan Provorov, and he is a really good player. I mean, the guy, he does what he's supposed to do out there on the ice. He is also a member of the Russian Orthodox Church. And as such, they follow the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, and especially when it comes to issues regarding sex and gender, much like the Catholics, and much like the Baptists and some Presbyterians do here. And there may be a few other denominations that still follow the Bible's teachings on those particular issues.
So anyway, um the NHL Was hosting this pride night at the Philadelphia Flyers game. And I'm not sure what gay pride has to do with hockey, but apparently it does. And just like, for example, we have the NBA and you have Major League Baseball. And all of these professional sporting organizations that deal with some sort of a ball feel the need to embrace the LGBT movement. That's just the way it is.
I guess it's part of, you know, you can no longer just be an athlete. You have to pledge your allegiance to this particular way of life. And if you don't, well, there's hell to pay. Pardon me. HE double hockey sticks to p to pay.
So anyway, Provoroff was supposed to wear a gay pride jersey. And you say, well, what is a gay pride jersey? It's the rainbow it's the rainbow colors that they uh ripped off from the uh the Old Testament, in the book of uh Genesis. that story.
So anyway, they got the they got to wear the rainbow colored jersey, and they also have to wear rainbow colored tape on their on their sticks. No, they're hockey sticks. Hockey sticks. And Provorov said, you know what, I can't do that. And he did not he did not dress with the team during pregame warm ups.
And that led to all sorts of questions about whether or not This guy is anti-gay. And he is catching holy you know what. In the mainstream media. And I believe we have audio of the hockey player. Mr.
Provoroff, as he was explaining to reporters why he was not dressing out. And he said that Hey, look, I gotta respect everybody, and I respect everybody. I also have to stay true to myself and my religion. That's what the guy said. And it's a fair point, I think, right?
He's not bashing anybody, but this is what he said. John, turning away from the game for a second, Ivan Fovroff wasn't in warm-ups before the game. There was a report that he wasn't in warm-ups because he didn't want to wear the Pride jersey for Pride Night. Do you have any comment on that? Yeah, I think the organization has sent out a release regarding the organization, the beliefs that we have and how we feel about it, and really a great night.
Um with Provi, uh uh he he's being true to himself and to his religion. Th this has to do with his belief in his religion. And it's one thing I respect about Provi. He's always true to himself. And so that's where we're at with that.
Was there any consideration on your part when he chose not to wear the jersey to not play him as a result? No, no. I'm not going to answer many more questions on it, because I I just think it's unfair. I know you're going to probably talk to Provy, but yeah, I'm not going to spend a lot of time on it. I think it was a great night in celebrating.
organization has put out a a statement and I'm not going to get too deep into the conversation. Those are the comments as far as Provi. We talked as a team and with Provi, and that's where we're at.
So, again, that's the coach, the head coach of the Philadelphia Flyer. Seems like a good guy. But the idea in the minds of these reporters is: why would you let that guy out on the ice? He hates gay people.
Well, first of all, he doesn't hate gay people. He's a Russian Orthodox guy. And I know a lot of the evangelical religions in America really don't care about the Bible anymore. As a matter of fact, the former president of the Southern Baptist Convention actually believes in practicing pronoun hospitality. In other words, they want to capitulate and appease the transgender movement.
And I get that. If that's what your church wants to do, it's America. Have at it. And that's my belief. And that's my belief within the LGBT community.
It's America. Your rights are protected under the Constitution. Live your life how you want to live your life. But you don't have a right to demand others Embrace what you believe. You see other people have rights too.
But it's frightening to see the number of sports reporters. And there was a time, there was a day when sports reporters, out of all the reporters, all of the journalists out there, the sports reporters were among the most conservative, or at least traditional. But man, has that ship sailed.
So you've got all these reporters piling on, and they're accusing mister Provoroff of being homophobic because he did not skate out there on the ice and embrace the LGBT agenda. He did not bow down and renounce his religious beliefs and affirm his allegiance to the Gay Pride movement. And I'm wondering, how many more years is it going to be until that is going to be a requirement? If you want to play in the NHL, you have to pledge your allegiance to the Pride movement. And there are others out there saying, and there will be people within the movement that, well, that's not what this is about at all.
This is just about respecting. Really? It's about respect, you say.
Well, what about respecting Mr. Provorov, who is a Russian Orthodox? By the way, do they have a Russian Orthodox Pride night? Or a Baptist Pride night, or any other kind of a pride night? Why is it so important for the Philadelphia Flyers to have this sort of an event?
At the hockey arena.
Now I remember Years ago. When the Supreme Court decided they were going to redefine what God had already defined. Mm-hmm. And former President Obama came out there, and a lot of Christians were very concerned because Christians feared that there would be a day where they would come under attack because. They follow the teachings of the Bible.
And I know a lot of Methodist churches, a lot of Lutheran churches and Episcopalian churches, you have literally ripped those pages out of your Bible. You have literally opened up God's Word and you have physically torn those pages out of your Bible. And I get that. And you know what? Under the Constitution of the United States, that is your right to do.
You'll have to answer to somebody else one day. Yeah. But that is your right under the Constitution to do that. But I remember because a lot of churches and Christians were very alarmed. And remember what.
President Obama did. He came out in front of the cameras and he said he made a promise. Yeah. No, not the one about if you like your doctor, you can keep your. No, no, no.
No, he made another promise. And what was that promise? That promise was: Americans would not be forced to renounce their religious beliefs. You would not be forced to embrace anything. Live and let live.
That's what President Obama said: live and let live. And now you have this poor guy, Ivan Provorov, who's facing off against a cancel culture mob. And it's not the first time this has happened. And he's saying, Look, if you want to talk about hockey, I'm happy to talk about hockey. But this is my personal belief.
Why do I have to share with you my position on gay pride? And it's not even a matter of sharing a position on gay pride, it's a matter of affirming gay pride. But apparently, these sports reporters. Say, all right, if you want to play in the NFL, you've got to literally put your religious beliefs on ice, and you have to wrap yourself in the colors of the rainbow flag. Is that fair?
Is that the kind of America we want? Is that the kind of NHL that we want, where you have to that people are more concerned about your political beliefs? I mean, one day are they going to are the NHL will they have a Democrat Pride Day where if you come out there and you have to support and pledge your allegiance to the Democrat Party?
Okay. I mean, where do you draw the line with all of this stuff? I remember years ago a lot of these groups used to have Faith Night. Remember that? And your church youth groups would go, and we would get the free hot dogs, and you would watch the characters run around the bases at the baseball game.
And a lot of people stopped doing that because they said it was offensive.
So you cannot have Faith Night You can't do that, but you can have a gay pride night at okay, all right, fine. You know what? Great. It's America. That your rights in HL are protected under the United States Constitution.
So my question is, what about Ivan Provoroff? How how much longer will his rights be protected by the United States Constitution. This is a pretty slippery slope here, folks, and I feel bad for the guy because he's catching holy you know what HE double hockey sticks simply for standing up For what he believes. And again, he wasn't going out there proselytizing. He wasn't going out there trying to recruit people to the Russian Orthodox Church.
He quietly sat in the locker room. Mm-hmm. because he refused to embrace and participate in an agenda. I want to read some of this to you. These are from NHL reporters Gord Miller.
Ivan Provorov had the right to refuse to participate in the Pride Night activities. The Flyers should have responded by not allowing him to play in the game. Freedom of expression does not give you freedom from consequences of your words or actions. What were the words or actions?
So again, they wanted him to renounce his religious beliefs. And it goes on and on. Pierre LeBron. writes this Provoroff obviously does not respect everyone. If he did respect everyone, he would have taken part in warm ups and worn the Pride Night jersey, Don't hide behind religion.
Well, he's not hiding behind his religion, sir. He's standing on his religion and the foundation of his religion. Rachel Malata, another NHL reporter, says: being gay is not a choice. Being ignorant, obnoxious, and homophobic is a choice. What did he do that was obnoxious?
The guy was pretty, just a pretty humble person, in my estimation. Ivan Provorov wasn't wearing a uniform tonight and the NHL players should not have let him play. Stop letting bigots hide behind their cherry-picked religion do better.
So the question is this: Was it okay for Ivan Provoroff to stay behind and not wear that gay pride jersey? Or should he have, you know, the team says you got to wear it? Should he have put on the jersey and violated the tenets of his beliefs? 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number.

Yeah. All right, folks, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Program. Let's get right to the phones here, 844-747-8868. Craig in Salem, Oregon. Listening to us on KYKN.
Welcome to the show. What's on your mind, Craig? Hey, good morning. How you doing, Todd? Good.
Thank you for asking. Good, good. This uh this speaks right to The heart of something I've been looking at for Yeah. twenty five, thirty years. There was a big change in Presbyterian, and I don't want it, you know.
I'm not going in. and calling any church denomination out. I think it's a common affiliation Um when I was in high school. And I'm a little bit older than my sisters. Five or six years.
years and By the time they went through high school after I did, there was a big shirt. Yeah. Shame. Yeah. Let's just say The acceptance of certain, and I don't mean.
Well, Craig, here's the deal. Here's the deal. This is not about the church. This is about this hockey player. The church, you guys have to figure that out, your own denominations.
You guys are responsible for all that. But it's about this guy and whether or not he should be forced to renounce his religious beliefs. Greg, are you there? We may have lost Craig. Let's go to Tim in Georgia, WRWH, our great affiliate there in Cleveland, Georgia.
Tim, what say you? All right. Well, I think we've got a phone issue here, folks. My apologies.
So hang tight, and we're going to try to get that worked out here momentarily. But I can tell you that the sports world is really in a twist over this, and it's just absolutely insane that this poor guy is facing the mob. Look, the mob's come after me so many times, I'm used to it. It's just like getting up and when you wake up in the morning and your joints are a little, it's a little slow to move around because you're getting older. Yeah, that's what it's like when the mob comes after you every single day.
Yeah. But you know what? I get it. If you're not used to it, it is a frightening thing, and it's really off-putting and unsettling. And I get it, which is one of the reasons we have this radio program, to let folks know, like Ivan Provoroff, that you know what, you're not going to be in this by yourself.
We're going to stand alongside of you. And we know that you're not homophobic. We know that you don't hate gay people. We know that you're just living out quietly. Living out the tenets of your faith.
So again, if Mr. Provoroff is supposed to be embracing something, that needs to be in the company contract. That's what I say. What say you, ladies and gentlemen? 844-747-8868.
That's our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. Folks, again, my apologies. We're working through this phone situation. We hope to have it remedied here in a matter of moments.

Phone lines are Back, ladies and gentlemen.
So, well, lines are now open. 844-747-8868. Again, that is a toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. This, again, this story out of Philadelphia last night sort of taking on its taking on, it's gone viral on the social media pages.
And by and large, most everybody on social media believes this guy should have been punished. That if you're not going to wear the rainbow jersey, you're a member of the team, you should be wearing the team jersey. And if you don't, well, you get what's coming to you. What say you? Let's go to the phones.
Carrie in Arkansas watching us on Rumble. Hi, Carrie. What's on your mind? Hey, Todd. I just wanted to let you know that there is a difference in Lutheran churches.
I heard you mention the Lutheran church doing away with part of the Bible, but. Um L C M O Is a Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, and that's what I belong to, and they're conservative. Are those the good guys? That's a good guy. And the uh ELCA is more liberal and that's probably the Lutherans that you're referring to.
But um, yeah, no, we still have our values. And I don't understand this crazy world we live in. It's bonkers, Carrie, and it's sad that you really have to sort of be very careful if you're joining a new church or congregation. You got to make sure they're following the teachings of the Holy Bible and that they're not out there literally ripping things out of the good book that conflict with their view of society. Exactly.
We don't need a feel-good church. We need a church that's going to tell us what's. Yeah. Exactly. And that's the point of all of this.
So, again, we live in America. You're allowed to live your life however you want to live your life. But, Carrie, I'm telling you, I wouldn't expect anybody to affirm me every single day. I mean, I live my life the way I live my life, and I'm not forcing anybody to accept or reject it. And now you have you answer to God and that's it and you live your life according and according to that.
So that's it. And and another thing, leave our children alone, you know. Them cramming that stuff down their throat. Oh, gosh.
Well, as a matter of fact, Carrie, and by the way, thank you for calling and thanks for watching us on our Rumble channel. To that point, ladies and gentlemen, in Minnesota. You have a member of the statehouse there, and she was going off about public schools and how parents need to understand that not only females do lady things. Cut number 11, please. I would encourage the committee to vote no on this amendment for a few reasons: practical, financial, social, emotional.
First, there are a lot of schools that are moving towards gender-neutral bathrooms. And if we add female, we might become obsolete very quickly. Second, not all students who menstruate are female. We need to make sure that all students have access to these products. They're obviously less non-female menstruating students, and therefore their usage will be much lower.
And that was actually calculated into the cost of this and how much we decided to fund it. And so we do not expect that the non-female menstruating students will use these products as much as the students using female bathrooms, but it's important to have them there. And that brings me to just the social-emotional reasons for that. These students who are not female who menstruate face a greater stigma and barrier to asking for these products and so providing them in an easily accessible place in all student bathrooms is particularly important for those students. All right, there you go.
That's the indoctrination. That's what it looks like there in the state of Minnesota where they're actually having hearings on this kind of nonsense. I mean, it's absolutely bizarre. All right, 844-747-8868. Let's go to North Carolina, and Papa is on the line.
Welcome to the program.
Okay. Hey, Ted. Hello, you're glad to have you. I'm well. I was Yeah.
Every day I listen to you, I learn something new. And I was listening to you talk about The the hacker player. And It touched my heart because People are asking Ursula. To thank God for something new. Was not God.
God doesn't make a mistake. And I'm not here to lecture anybody, but I'm here to tell you: if God wants you to be something else, He doesn't make it. Yeah. God makes you really want to. Yeah.
And Until the people of Saad putting God first I don't think we're going to get out of this mess.
Well, it is a big mess. And again, when you look at where this country has gone, and I quote John Adams, our second president, frequently on this program, Papa, because ultimately our Constitution is meant for a religious and a moral people. And when you take God out of that equation, I don't care who you are, you're going to get chaos. And that's what's happening right now in the country. We're getting chaos.
Yeah. Well, thank you for the call, and thank you for. Yeah, go ahead. I listen to you every day and I want him to know one thing. People who want the truth always going to listen to you.
The people who aren't looking for something that's it don't matter if they're joined the curve or not. They're out of they're gonna lose. You know what I'm saying? I do. And again, I appreciate you listening and hanging out with us today.
Thanks for the call. 844-747-8868. That is our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. Let's go to Ben in Maine, WLOB.
Ben, what's on your mind? Hey, how you doing, Todd? What's on your mind, Ben?
Okay, well, um I appreciate how much you say you want to follow the Bible. Um But I wonder why You don't keep all the commandments. What are you talking about, Ben? Number four. What's the number four, Ben?
Uh Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy, the seventh day. Ben, there's good news if you're a Christian, and this is not a church program here, Ben, but I understand the snarkiness of your question. Yes, that's exactly what it is, Ben, but I'm going to answer your question. You see, we're under the New Testament teaching, sir, and we practice the Sabbath on Sunday. That's what we do in the Baptist faith tradition.
Many other traditions do the same thing. But again, this is not a church service, and I'm not going to get into a deep dive on church right now. Thank you for the call. All right, 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number.
I want to get to what's happening in Washington, D.C. Damn. Uh and again, folks. The situation with the hockey thing is not a religious issue, it's a constitutional issue. That's what this is all about.
You're either going to have freedom of religion or you're not. Period. That's it. Yeah. All right, so let's get to Uh Joe Biden.
Joe Biden's been trying to go after our guns, and he made a very interesting comment yesterday. I want to bring it to your attention. Cut number 16. I love my right-wing friends who talk about the tree of liberty is water with the blood of patriots. Mm-hmm.
If you need to work about taking on the federal government, you need some F-15s. You don't need an RAR-15. I'm serious, think about it.
So there's Joe Biden trying to get snarky. With the Second Amendment. And he says that if you're really going to take on the federal government, you don't need an AR-15, you need an F-15. Here's what Biden is saying: you better shut your mouth. When the knock comes at your door, you're going to hand over your guns to the government because we've got F-15s and we'll blow you to smithereens if you don't turn over your weapons.
That's what Biden, in his demented little state, is thinking right there in his mind. That was a threat, ladies and gentlemen. That was a threat directed at every law-abiding gun owner in the country. That's all that was. Play it one more time.
Cut 16. I love my right-wing friends who talk about the tree of liberty is water with the blood of patriots. If you need to work about taking on the federal government, you need some F-15s. You don't need an RAR-15. I'm serious, think about it.
And think about this. Joe Biden just called Thomas Jefferson a right-wing extremist. Because it was Thomas Jefferson who once wrote in a letter that the tree of liberty must be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants. That came not from the Tea Party. It didn't come from MAGA World.
It didn't come from Donald Trump. It came from Thomas Jefferson.
So if Joe Biden thinks Thomas Jefferson is a right-wing extremist, we've got big problems in this country. Yeah. But I want you to remember, and this is going to be a big push by the Biden administration for the next two years. They're coming after your guns, folks. And you better get ready because they will be knocking on your door.
This has already happened in Virginia, where they used red flag laws.
Some guy complained about something. There was a knock on the door. He had to turn over his weapons to the local government. But go back to the Revolutionary War times.
Now they're not teaching this in public schools. They're not teaching this in American history classes. But when you go back to seventeen seventy five, the reason the American Revolution started in the first place it had nothing to do with taxation. It had nothing to do with freedom of religion. The reason why the shooting started is because the British were dispatched to Lexington and Concord.
to collect every single gun and piece of ambo they could find. Uh Ladies and gentlemen, the Revolutionary War started when the British tried to confiscate our guns. the guns of our founding fathers. That's how the Revolutionary War started.
Now, people may not want to acknowledge that, but that is the. That is the God's honest truth of why the shooting started and the Revolutionary War was started on April 19, 1775, when they tried to take guns and ammo away from the good God fearing citizens of Lexington and Concord. I'm telling you, folks, you better buckle up because they're coming after your guns. Let's go to Jim in Maine, WLOB. Jim, what say you?
Odd. What's up? I just heard this for the first time, this Biden little Skit. And I called in a few months ago and talked to Ray Richardson in the morning. And I said, Ray, I heard our president the other day Yeah.
You can't take us on. We have armies and nuclear weapons. Those were his words verbatim. And now I just heard this. Um This it's like nothing I've ever heard from a President ever.
It's incredible. They're really emboldened, Jim. And my concern, we shared this survey that was a poll taken of Generation Zers. I believe only 15%, 14% or 15% of Generation Z say they're proud to live in America. And what concerns me is a lot of these kids, they're being radicalized in their public schools.
Then they join the military.
Now you've got a kid with the guns, in the military, in uniform, hating America. It's going to be a lot easier for someone like Joe Biden or Kamala Harris to dispatch those soldiers into our neighborhoods to confiscate those guns. One hundred percent. My friends in Canada said the The police and the masked police that came into Canada to break up those. They were foreign speaking soldiers.
They they weren't even soldiers that cared about. where they were or the rights of the people there or anything else. They don't care. They're brought up that way, and they're from who knows where else as well. Um, yeah, that's scary stuff, Todd, man.
I I I hope this stuff gets straightened out.
Well, that's one of the reasons we're bringing it to everybody's attention, Jim, uh, because people need to know about this. And your local news, they're not going to be talking about this kind of stuff, but we are. You can find that clip, Todd. I'm telling you, he says, We have armies and nuclear weapons. Those were his words.
I remember him saying that, Jim. You're absolutely right. Jim, we got to run. Appreciate that call. Let's go to Bill in Washington.
Bill, what say you?
Well, you realize that that's what started the First American Revolution, right?
Well, and we just I just said as much. Yeah, we just gave people a brief history lesson of how the war and why the war actually started. Yeah, the brave were coming to uh Concord and Lexington to take our uh our guns and and powder. And uh they said no. That was where it all started.
And, Bill, there's a reason why we have not been invaded ever since. And we'll take the War of 1812 off the table for a moment. The reason why is because just about every citizen in this country is armed, and every other country on the planet understands that you're going to have grandmas and grandpas, aunts, and uncles fighting on every street corner, armed to the teeth. Yeah, but the part problem is the enemies within. It's already here.
Well, and that's what we have to deal with. You're absolutely right. Bill Peter. In the government. Yes, sir.
You're absolutely right. Absolutely right. Bill, got to run. Appreciate that call. 844-747-8868.
Biden wants to take away our guns, folks, and he's threatening us with. F 15s? This is the Todd Stern Show. U All right, welcome back, everybody. Good to have you with us.
Let's go to North Carolina, the talk station. Ron on the line. Hey, Ron, what's on your mind? Hello, Todd. Yeah, everything you've been talking about in your callers, they I don't care what anybody says, they stole uh Are great Trump's hard-earned Second term, and now they're shoving all this stuff down our throats.
Um They say we can vote to make things better. No, that's wrong until we get voter ID. I don't think I'll ever trust that That Party. And uh in these turbulent times, we need our weapons more than ever with uh law enforcement being uh discriminate against or what have you. It's just unbelievable.
I can't. It's infuriating. I can I can barely talk with people need to realize how unique Our rights are, especially the Second Amendment. Nobody else has that. And that has pretty much Presented a lot of things from happening over history.
And once it's gone, it's gone, and there's no getting it back. And also, If this Corrupt Idiots that are supposed to Be looking after us in our government. Once our guns are gone, it's game on. Oh, it is, Ron. And once they take away the guns, they know they can control the people.
I mean, that's ultimately what this is all about. They're conditioning this nation to either accept socialism peacefully or by force if necessary. And that's one of the reasons they're going after the churches. Remember during the pandemic, what did they do, Ron? They shut down the churches, and they did so because many pastors around the country waved that white surrender flag and said, you know what?
We're going to shut down because we need to put our trust, our faith, our salvation in the federal government. That's the first step. And we saw that happen in Venezuela. We saw that happen in places like Cuba. And we even saw it in places like Germany back in the 1930s, where many churches were silent and went along with the Nazi regime because they didn't want to get in trouble.
Yep, and they're not teaching this history, this they have such a A venue with our televisions and stuff. They can promote such good things about our country, about people. And they're just Stirring up hate and discontent and pitying people. I just. all I can do is pray like crazy now, but I'm telling you, there's just I don't know where it's going to end, but it's not looking good because it's just out of control.
And they're not looking with that open border. Oh my gosh. Ron, it's insane right now. Yeah. And Ron, we're running late for a break here, and I appreciate your call.
Look, folks, Ron's right. They're not teaching this stuff in our history classes. And we're happy to do that here on the radio. Let your kids do some research. Let them understand how the American Revolution started and why it started.
Huge, huge stories about American history and quite frankly, eye-opening. Hey, hour two coming up. Hang tight if you're on the phones. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch.
That's right. I love this American rap. It starts.
Well All right. Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Sterns radio program.
So happy to have you with us today. A lot going on. President Trump. Going back on Twitter. It's gonna be an exciting day for all you Tweeps out there.
Or are they twits? I never can't remember. Tweeps or twits. It doesn't really matter. President Trump about to make Twitter great again, and we're looking forward to that.
Also, our understanding is from the reporting out there. The president trying to get back on Facebook, too.
So we'll keep you updated. I want to go right now, though, to the Patriot mobile newsmaker lines. Great to have with us the dueling Jeffs. We have Jeff Katz from WRVA, our great affiliate, in Richmond, Virginia, and Jeff Stein from radio station KXEL in Waterloo, Iowa. Gentlemen, happy whatever day it is, Wednesday.
Good afternoon, friends. I just want to ask Jeff Katz, first of all, when you heard the theme music play in your headphones just now. Did you feel like you should be talking when the big voice guy introduced Todd? I mean, it's become a reflex for us, hasn't it? It certainly has.
Well, there's nobody better, and I'm always I don't know about you, Jeff. I'm always happy to be sitting in for Todd. It's always a cool, cool event. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely.
Stein, I hear, though, that when Katz fills in for Glenn Beck, he gets like little Debbie snack cakes. We just don't do that here. We don't have that kind of cash.
Well, it all depends given mister Beck's propensity for snack food and such. I mean, you probably get them by the gross, don't you?
Well, I'm not at liberty to disclose any of the compensation plans, but just let's say I am very happy when that call comes.
So, speaking of gross, Jeff Katz, I know that you thank you, Jeff. No, no, no, no, you spent some time in Boston, and that's where you and I got to know each other doing radio together. And I want to get your take on that big MLK statue they've got, the sculpture. Oh, God. Gosh, it is I oh.
It just looks to me like it's not finished. You know, it's like somebody said, We want to make this beautiful tribute to Dr. King and Mrs. King, and like the 16 pages in the middle of the blueprints disappeared because it just doesn't look good. It is not.
A good looking statue. I think they need to put a like a brown paper bag over it or something.
Something. It's like when you take something out of the oven and you poke it and you go, you know, it's just not done.
So you put it back. This thing needs to be put back and fully formed. And, you know, the sad part of that was that his, I guess it's his granddaughter's great-granddaughter, little 12-year-old young lady, was wonderful. My gosh, brilliant and on point. And then they show us this, and it's like, ugh, we just lost all of that.
Yeah. You know, guys, I was driving home last night and there was a bit of a traffic jam. I thought, what in the world's going on?
So people were scooting out of my lane. I was in the middle lane. And all of a sudden, I'm face to face with this giant, and it's dark outnight. You can barely see. There's a giant bulbous thing.
And I'm like, what in heaven's name is that? And for a second, it looked just like. The unfortunate appendage there in the MLK statue driving down Poplar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. And then I swerved around to get around the vehicle, and it turned out to be the Oscar Meyer Wiener Mobile. Oh.
It's she. Wow. Do they have a rim shot there in the control room? No, this is the reality.
Well, the rim shot is you don't want to be looking at the Wiener Mobile in your rearview mirror. I'm just telling you. Wow. And for what it's worth. Did you also work in the Borschbelt?
I mean, wow, wow. I was going to say shalom, but I'm not allowed to do that now.
So apparently, that's against the law.
So, as a Gentile. That's right. Don't think about Aloha, Ove, nothing. Shalom. Y'all, Shalom.
Y'all, that's right. That's the title of Todd's new book, Talome Y'all.
Well, actually, it's funny you mentioned the Wiener Mobile because. My poll question of the day.
Okay. Spelling it correctly, P-O-L-L question. What? Thank you. They are looking for people to drive the Wiener mobile.
And Coincidentally, the folks at Planters Peanuts have something similar called the Nutmobile, and they're looking for drivers because everybody needs employees. And so my full question was, which of these would you rather drive, the Wiener Mobile or the Nutmobile?
Sometimes these stories write themselves, don't they, gentlemen? By the way, overwhelmingly, KXDL listeners favor. Driving the Wiener Mobile as their preferred occupation. I don't know what to read into that, but that's the number. If you have never been inside the Wiener Mobile gentleman, by the way, it it's phenomenal.
If you get the chance, it comes to town.
Now, Todd, it's got to be some place in Memphis where it's actually parked and you're all you know, just like crashing into it is not going to count. I hope it's bulletproof. It is luxurious in there, believe it or not. And it's great fun. It's a great, great little thing.
I relished the opportunity I had to be in the Wiener Moon. Oh, okay. We got to move on here quickly. All right, well, let's quickly put something else. Hey, guys.
Oh, wow. Knocked that one right past the goalie, didn't he? Wow. All right. Jeff Stein, Jeff Katz, here in the blue room at the Taj Starns Radio program.
Fellas, the news coming out surrounding Hunter Biden and his dad, I find this fascinating.
So, Hunter was paying $49,000 a month in rent. And that is not a very, I mean, it's an okay house, but it doesn't look like the Taj Mahal. Nope. You do have to wonder if that has anything to do with that $49,000 payment allegedly coming from some offshore entity that needed to be. Covered up is such an ugly term, Todd.
You're smarter than I am. What's a better term than covered up? No, well, look, I mean, I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the $49,910 in rent was completely different than the $49,910 he was getting from the Chinese. Yeah, I. It has to be.
It's like it's like a clerical error. A coincidence.
Now, Jeff Stein, you are the resident attorney here, the barrister, and I want to get your take on the report coming out yesterday that the FBI actually took a pass on doing the search for the classified documents. They told Biden's attorneys, You know what, you guys, you know what you're doing. You just go and check in. If there's something there, just bring it to us.
Meanwhile, when they did that to Trump, they ordered the attorneys to stand outside of Mar-a-Lago.
Well, first of all, when you're looking at this issue of the rent, I went and looked up the The phrase money laundering in the dictionary, and there's a picture of that house right there. I mean, it's a staggering thing. I mean, the whole thing. It is just indicative of how the Biden Prime family, Todd and Jeff, have been operating from the start. Rules don't apply to them.
There is a separate set of uh judicial principles we're not going to pay any attention to payments of fifty thousand dollars a month. But by gosh, if a business owner in Tennessee makes a payment of more than six hundred dollars, we want three triplicate report on it. And as far as the duplicitousness with regard to the private attorney here with the Biden situation, They themselves have now walked into becoming witnesses. And that is a place that no lawyer wants to be. You are to zealously represent your client within the bounds of the law.
But if they are then the ones who are Picking up documents, the chain of custody goes to them as an individual, and they don't have the proper clearance. And the private attorneys don't. No one's questioning that. They now are witnesses in any sort of tribunal against the President or other members of the Biden crime family. And so it sounds like a great thing.
Oh, yes, my private attorneys are doing this. Talk about throwing them under the trailways bus.
Now, Jeff Kantz, as a former law enforcement guy, you know that it's not necessarily the crime that's going to get you jail time. It could be something else. With Al Capone, it wasn't all the murders, it was the taxes, the tax evasion.
So, when you look at the tax returns, and Miranda Devine has these for over the New York Post, she has a document that shows Hunter checked a box claiming to own the house.
So, why was he paying rent to the house that he purportedly owned?
Meanwhile, Joe Biden's tax return from back in 2017 only listed barely $20,000 in rents received.
So, you wonder if they're opening themselves up to some sort of an IRS action here.
Well, I think in another day and age, they probably would be. If we take a look at just how far the tentacles of La Jose and Ostra go, you're going to see that they're pulling a lot of levers. Todd, you talked about the FBI taking a pass on this. Gosh, I cringed at that. I read that report and I thought, no, there's got to be some error.
There's got to be something else. But just to hand it all over to Biden's private attorneys, the whole thing sinks to high heaven. The question becomes, Todd, and my fellow Jeff, is: besides us and other folks who are concerned about this, will anything happen? I got to tell you, I have actually been shocked to watch some of the press briefings and see some of the traditional news outlets actually, maybe inadvertently, practicing journalism.
Some of them are asking tough questions. And so I would love to see how this plays out. You saw, I guess it was yesterday again. Joe Biden just doesn't even bother answering the questions anymore. And you're right.
I think the cover-up on this could very well be bigger than the crime, although the underlying crimes look like they could be pretty big, too. Oh, no doubt about that. And Steiner, I want to get your take on. We had Liz Peak on the show yesterday. She says that, according to her sources, Michelle Obama is actually in New York City.
She's raising a lot of money for a political campaign, and that's speculate a lot of speculation. She may be getting ready to throw her name in the hat for 2024. She's always been my dark horse candidate, Michelle Obama has. I've just always felt like she would be a formidable force in a presidential race. And I'm wondering if this is Barack Obama doing in Joe Biden to pave the way for his wife.
They are definitely connected. All of this accidental commission of journalism that's taking place is.
So Gently push Joe off the stage. Not before. January 20 of 2025, because heaven forbid that would mean President Kamala Harris. And even though Joe already thinks she's president, the people who actually are cognizant of things they want to push all of this just far enough so that he cannot run, but not so far that he has to leave office.
Now here's the thing with your supposition Todd about Barack setting Michelle up. My sense would be that Michelle would want to do it so that she can, in a very competitive way, outshine Barack because there's always been that tension there. very much like Hillary Clinton during Bill's time in office, The first ladies all in both situations to me always looked at their husbands like You know, I could have done this better. You're only here because of me. And so if she were to do it, it would be with his encouragement, but he better watch what he wishes for because she is not going to take counsel from him on anything, including whether there should be ashtrays in the White House.
Jeff Kant's final word. I got to tell you, my hat is being tipped in the direction of our counselor there. I think Jeff is spot on on all of that, that assessment. And Todd, you have said this about Michelle Obama for years, that she is perhaps stealthily trying to launch a presidential campaign. And I'm with you.
She would be a very, very formidable candidate. And I'm with Jeff when he says they're trying to let Joe know: hey, it's almost time to go, but just stick around long enough so that you can suck up a few more freebie dinners. But you're definitely not running against her. Speaking of food, gentlemen, we have some exciting news from here in the volunteer state involving one Dolly Parton. Cut number three, please.
I have a real treat for you. Be one of the first to try my new Duncan Hines brownie cornbread and biscuit mixes.
Now, they're going to be available in stores real soon. But you can get all the new mixes along with some other special items in my baking kit while supplies last. Fellas, America can't wait to taste Dolly Parton's biscuits.
Now, here's the thing. They are not the same as a biscuit or the feeling of a biscuit after you've read Devotions with a Drawl. They're not going to measure up to that level. Her biscuits are not as fluffy as mine. I'll tell you that much.
And mine don't come from a box. You've got your originally issued equipment. I know, Todd, not much of a baker, but listen, if we're going to do a panel taste test for Miss Dolly, I'm in. I'm all in, my friend. All right.
All right, Jeff. Wow. I hope this isn't the last time we're going to have you all on the program.
Well, it is your show. You're the owner, so you don't have to look over your shoulder. I love it. It's all you, sir. All right.
Well, and the problem here, though, guys, is every Southern woman will admit to this. You cannot make biscuits from a box. You've got to make them by scratch, otherwise, they're going to revoke your Southern card. That's right. And you do not want to say bless your heart to Dolly.
So I guess we just move along. We just move along. All right, Jeff Stein, ladies and gentlemen, Jeff Kant. Gentlemen, always a pleasure. We'll be talking to you soon.
Have a great day, Todd. All right. Good guys. Jeez Halo. All right.
Got to take a break here. And I'm serious about that. You southern ladies out there. I mean, I'm sure Dolly Parton is a daughter of Tennessee, but everybody knows you've got to make your biscuits from scratch, and especially not from the can. 844-747-8868 is our toll-free telephone number.
Do you really think Barack Obama may be behind all of these attacks on Joe Biden? 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. We have this just in from our investigative reporter.
One Paul Shanklin. Mm-hmm. Hold it, hold it, hold it right there. This is an official proclamation from Special Agent Bernard P. Fife with the FBI.
The Federal Bureau of Information. You see the FBI had Concluded that the cases of Donald J. Trump and President Biden. are not the same. Not even close.
Ye see, on the one hand ye got your trump, a former President keeping top secret documents that he alleges are declassified away from the National Archives for more than eighteen months. And then you got your former Vice President, Joe Biden. Who's assured us that after six years of careful storage he couldn't declassify anything when he was vice president. Comer, whose side are you on? Ah.
President Biden has assured us he has given us every document he can find.
So there's nothing to see here. Just go about your choo, choo-choo, choo, huh? Choo-choo. What do you mean? Think what Joe's trying to say is you need to check uh Amtrak.
Oh dear. I'll be right back. Slow down, Joe. You know, I just don't know how our guy Shanklin does it, but he does it. There you go.
Jeez a lou. Wow. All right, folks, we got to take a break. When we come back, Congressman Bob Goode is going to join us, weighing in on the latest with the investigations. Also, expecting Congressman Dan Bishop from North Carolina, he's going to drop by, plus your calls.
So hang tight if you're on hold. 844-747-8868. That is a toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stardenship.
All right, welcome back to the Tutturns Radio Program. I hope you're doing great today, ladies and gentlemen, wherever you might be across the fruited plain. Want to go right now, though, to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line. Honored to have with us from Virginia's 5th congressional district, Congressman Bob Goode, one of the good guys up on Capitol Hill. Hope you're doing well today, sir.
Doing great. Thanks for having me. Great to be with you again. And again, thank you for taking a principled conservative stand. There are so many people that campaign as conservatives, but once they get to D.C., something goes awry.
You're one of those guys. You're a man of your word, and we really appreciate that.
Well, I appreciate that. I'm grateful for the support of the people in the Fifth District. I consider them my bosses, the eight hundred thousand or so who I represent. And I tried to be truthful with them. You don't try to be truthful, you just are.
But I was truthful with them when I ran in twenty twenty and when I ran again in twenty twenty two. And I was grateful that after acting as a true conservative in my legislating responsibilities in my first term that they rewarded me with a greater margin of victory in the second term. You know you're taking some risk when you do right. And of course, when you do right, you have a lot of people who don't like that, but grateful for the folks in the 5th district. And that's who I answer to.
And if you know why you're there and what you stand for, and you know who you answer to, the folks who can term limit you every two years if they want to, then it makes it a little easier to do the right thing when you're in D.C. You know, Congressman, we've been following these shocking developments surrounding the classified documents that have been stored in Joe Biden's office in D.C., at the think tank, at his home in multiple locations. And the news dropping from ABC is that the FBI actually stopped and did not even consider going in and raiding the homes. They just thought, you know what, we're going to let his attorneys handle it for us. I want to get your reaction to that.
Well, very concerning. Of course, the excuse has been he didn't know. He didn't mean it. He didn't realize. Most of us probably have never take even if we work from home or work remotely some, and certainly when you're in Congress and you back in your district, you're traveling your district, you're kind of working out of a base office at home.
Most of us probably never take home things that we're not permitted to take home from our workplace, certainly not things marked classified or top secret or what have you. But here we have a president who took him fifty years of public service to find the southern border. I guess it's little comfort and unfortunately not surprising to find out that he might not know what he's housing in his own personal office or what he's housing at his home. Or perhaps he's just willingly has done so with full knowledge, or maybe it's just diminished capacity over the last couple of years. But certainly very concerning.
And why are lawyers, to your point, why are lawyers the ones without class of security clearance, I should say, are the ones who are finding these documents? And you got this slow drip, where I guess they presume with a compliant media and a compliant Department of Injustice, nothing, there'd be no consequences to this. While he was saying he just couldn't imagine that President Trump could make a mistake, let's use that term, with having some classified documents that he had the authority to declare declassified, as you know, as president. And Joe Biden had no such authority as vice president. And President Trump put out a statement about this and was doing an interview, I believe, actually.
And he was, I was really sad hearing the president say, you know what? This is just how it is in America, where there is a double standard. There's one set of rules for the ruling class and another set for everyone else. They had the guns-drawn raid on Mar-a-Lago, where they refused to let President Trump's attorneys even inside the building as they were rummaging for. Through Melania Trump's private belongings.
And meanwhile, they're working hand in hand with Biden's attorney, saying, hey, you guys handle it, we're good here.
Well, so concerning that the weaponization of the federal government against citizens, the two tier justice system, that's why this new select committee on the weaponization of government against conservatives, against Americans, against Trump supporters, against patriots is so important. What's been set up by the House But exactly right. Why why the political theater of raiding the former President's home where he's got a secure facility with secret service protection? They he's cooperating with the government with any concern they have on some documents. But also If there was anything concerning about what had been found or recovered or taken from his residence, Don't you know we would know all about it?
And why has there been no reporting about anything concerning taken from that? And matter of fact, they put photos of it, as you know, and distributed them through social media and otherwise on what they found. No concern there. But so Perhaps the most troubling of all about this administration, you got the border crisis, you got the energy crisis, you got the debt crisis, the weakening of our military education system. But The loss of faith and trust in our one sacred institutions of federal law enforcement and so forth, terribly damaging to the country.
Congressman Bob Good, ladies and gentlemen, on the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line, Congressman, I want to talk about some very important legislation that you've introduced. But before we do that, I want to remind people of something President Biden said just the other day. You might have heard this. He was at Al Sharpton's National Action Network, and he was talking about people who own AR-15s. And he said, if you're going to overthrow the government or take over the government, you need an F-15, not an AR-15.
I may have taken that wrong, Congressman, but that to me almost sounded like a threat.
Well, it typifies how he views. his political opponents or people who don't vote for him or don't agree with him. He has demonized half of the country. He has diminished half of the country. He considers the greatest threat to America to be Americans who might vote for a Republican, who might vote for Donald Trump, who might adhere to the Constitution.
And he thinks that he and his bureaucratic allies get to dictate the the degree to which you can enjoy your constitutionally protected rights, your God given rights to self defense, that your right as a law abiding citizen is dependent on the actions of criminals And the bureaucratic dictates, the fiat decrees of the ATF and other agencies. We have a Constitution for a reason. It's difficult to change. If this White House and this Administration doesn't like the Constitution, doesn't like the Bill of Rights, doesn't like the Second Amendment.
Well, there's a mechanism to change that. It's difficult by design, but it's possible. Congress doesn't even have the authority to limit our Second Amendment rights, let alone the ATF or some agency of the executive branch. All right. It's called, and I love the acronym, Protecting Individual Sovereignty Through Our Laws Act, the PISTIL Act.
Tell us what's in this piece of legislation.
Well, what this is doing is defending against, of course, Biden's ATF, which wants to try to regulate a pistol, a handgun essentially, that has a brace to it, a stabilizing brace that like what might be used by someone who has lost the use of a limb or has lost a limb, Maybe a veteran who suffered a wound in battle. And so they need a stabilizing brace to use with one hand a pistol. And what this administration wants to do is to regulate and restrict that, like a short-barrel rifle, going back to the NFA, the National Firearms Act from 90 years ago. And this bill would essentially make that illegal for them to redefine what a pistol is just from bureaucratic fiat like this, bureaucratic decree, and protect the rights of citizens to utilize handguns and pistols and to use accessories. I have another bill called the Shush Act, which protects silencers or suppressors and allows our rights to use those without those being infringed as well.
But this is just small. the slow crip, drip, creep of the Biden administration who wants essentially take away your rights to defend yourself. They don't want to be tough on criminals. They don't want to prosecute criminals. They don't want to support our police.
They don't want to harden our schools. They don't want they want to have no cash bail. And they want to demonize law enforcement, local law enforcement. And here they want to take away your rights to defend yourself while they're doing that. All right.
Well, it's good legislation, and we got to get it through, and we will do our best to promote that here on this radio program. Congressman, appreciate your time today. Thank you. Great to be with you. Keep up the fight.
All right, Congressman Bob Goode, ladies and gentlemen, member of the House Freedom Caucus, great American patriot from the Commonwealth of Virginia. All right, there you go, folks. Congressman Bob Good, and again, one of the good guys up on Capitol Hill. 844-747-8868. Let's go to the phones.
Ed in North Carolina. Ed, what's on your mind? Hey, Todd, how are you doing, buddy? I'm good. Thanks for asking.
Good, man. Hey, listen, um We looking towards the future, Half of the country is always going to be upset. Half the country is always going to be.
Okay. And unless things change on the federal level, They're going to keep us divided for the rest of time. And And if they can do that, then they can do whatever they want up there. We need to figure out how we can unify this country. And So to me So that so that we can all stand strong against obviously what's going on in Washington DC.
How do we do that other than Um And we've got to take out of the federal government hands the ability to do to change laws or make laws That are affecting our unity in this country and get them back to the state level somehow.
So then if you're upset with it with a state, you can move. But in this case, if you're you can't really do much except move out of the country. But we're going to be fighting forever, Todd. We're going to be fighting forever.
Now how do we unify America to go against You know, who we should be fighting against instead of each other. And I think we have to unify under the flag of getting our schools back under local control. Because that, again, that's the engine that's driving this change, and it's happening at such a rapid clip. I think the millennial generation, I think they're gone. I'm not sure we're going to be able to bring those people back into the column of freedom-loving patriots.
Gen Z, that's up in the air.
So I think we're going to have to start now and, again, start at the local level and work our way up to Washington. But the change, I believe, is going to have to start right at home. Uh But but again, like to me, liberals, I'm obviously conservative, but liberals have a right To think and feel, that's the American, you know, they have their right to, but what we have to do is. figure out a way to quit fighting with each other and fight against.
Well, I'm not fighting against liberals. I'm fighting against their ideas and their ideology. Oh, I know. I know, but they have a right to their ideas.
Well, of course they do.
So, if they have a right to their ideas, you have a right to your ideas. Whose ideas are you going to go with?
Well, you you get it somehow back to the state level So that if you don't like it, move. But you can't we can't continue to allow the federal government to Well, that's what they're doing right now, Ed. That's what they're doing in California right now. The Liberals have a supermajority in the State House. They control everything.
And you're right, people are packing up the U-Haul and they're getting out of Dodge. But the problem is they're bringing those Liberal policies with them. But yes, but okay, if if wherever they're going, if they don't want the liberal policies, they just need to fight it on a state level, not on a national level. We got to quit fighting issues on a federal level that should be decided in the states, not Or we're just gonna this is just it.
So this is America. We're gonna fight with each other. Not nothing. We're gonna fight with each other for each the rest of time. Unless somebody gets creative on how we unify the people And control the government.
We're just going to fight from now on. All right, Ed. That's awful. Ed, well, yeah, I mean, but you know what? We've been fighting since the dawn of time.
I mean, you know, you go back to Canaan. Oh, I disagree with you, Ed. I think it's a lot more public now because of social media platforms and cable TV. But yeah, there's a lot of anger out there. Ed, I got to run.
Appreciate the call. Let's try to get Jerry in here from Iowa. Jerry, what's on your mind? Yeah, boy, they Congressman Bob Goode lives up to his name. Maybe more like him.
So, Brother Todd, to answer your question, might Barack Obama be behind the plan to be phasing out Joe Schmo for the next worst thing? By the way, I'm in Jeff Stein's back 40 acres here in KXL. But to answer your question about Barack Puppet Master, There's a concept called emergent behavior in software technology and in life sciences, and it's a term that means. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. It's so and I think it's a conglomeration of Evil.
That has a mind of its own. I think Barack is probably a top consultant. Let's not discount Soros money. Big tech leaders and the World Economic Forum, which is sort of the deep state of the world.
So what what's happening with the tyrannical left is Is it goes beyond any one person, I'm just theorizing. and their self centered pride. This is a global agenda That has A global culmination. And the freedom loving people, we need to watch out for the spirit of who the puppet master really is. And I think Brock is a consultant for sure.
But by the way, I agree with you about the dark hor horse of Michelle. I mean, she'll sneak right out. Or she could. And the left would love to vote her in for 2024. She could be.
The surprise That the world has for us, and it won't be based on anything she's done or how smart she is. But you gotta watch out 'cause the left They don't think the way rational Good. No, no, no. And Jerry, and they think the long game. They think the long game here, and to your point about Michelle Obama, and I'm going to have to let you go because we are up against a hard break here, but I want to make this point.
Michelle Obama is an angry, angry woman. And why is she angry? She's angry because Donald Trump unraveled her husband's legacy. That's why. And she is fiercely angry.
As a matter of fact, I would encourage you to watch this Showtime series called The First Ladies. And it portrays Michelle Obama. It got a lot of controversy because of the portrayal, but it actually portrays Michelle Obama in the aftermath of that election wanting to physically attack and punch and beat up Donald Trump. This is an angry, angry woman. Yeah.
And do not discount Barack Obama's hatred of this nation as well. Remember Michelle Obama, first time in the history of I've ever been proud of my country. Barack Obama. Was indoctrinated by his father. Who hated colonialism?
And you watch what's going to happen here. She gets in the White House. They will try to dismantle this nation. Got to take a break here, folks. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show.
America's favorite funky white boy back with you. Hello everybody. Hey, coming up for the next hour, we've got Congressman Dan Bishop weighing in on the debt ceiling.
Now, just for some clarification here. That doesn't mean that we're going to run out of money. On Thursday. That's going to happen sometime in June. But there is going to be a big push to raise the debt ceiling.
And folks, I'm telling you, we just have to let our elected leaders know. Nope, nope, nope, no, sir. Not going to happen. Gotta nip it in the butt. That's what you got to do here, folks.
So I would encourage you to get on the phone and reach out to your elected leaders up on Capitol Hill and tell them: you got to hold the line here. We do not want you to raise the debt ceiling. That's it. 844-747-8868. That is our toll-free telephone number.
That's 844-747-8868. Now just a few moments ago, Elon Musk weighed in on Trump coming back to Twitter. Trump purportedly is back. They're also petitioning to come back on Facebook. But Elon Musk just moments ago posted this statement.
It's going to be interesting to see how the Biden administration reacts. They may try to weaponize federal agencies against Twitter. And I wouldn't be surprised if they do, to be perfectly honest with you. Not one bit, especially after what we have seen. Over the past several days.
All right, we ought to take a break here again, 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starnes. That's right. I love this American.
And hello, everybody. Welcome to hour three of the big show. Happy to have you with us today as we broadcast border to border, coast to coast. Across the fruited plank.
Now uh many of you know I love uh I love traveling and did not enjoy traveling that much during the China virus pandemic. As a matter of fact, I don't think I flew anywhere. And if I did, it was only once or twice. And one of the reasons is because of the mask mandates. And it was really theatrical.
We all know those masks did absolutely nothing.
Now, the Biden administration is arguing in court that the CDC has the right to require travelers to mask up again. This argument is now being thrown about in the appeals court. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line. Our good friend Congressman Dan Bishop from North Carolina joins us. And I know, Congressman, you've been tweeting furiously about this, and you're not very happy about it.
Well, uh it's ridiculous, Todd. Uh these are You know, the the Detritus or the leftover, the residual from the COVID experiences. Government has Expanded its powers by its own. Say without uh refugee. guidance from the way we make our laws through Congress and Now they want to claim it as being permanent.
They can always. change air travel any way they want to. They can impose any requirement or restriction on people who choose to travel by air just because they say so. And That they have no such authority.
So that continues to be an important piece of litigation, and there are many ways, Todd, in which. We've got to retrench. We've got to pull back and make clear. Litigation or legislation or otherwise, that these expansions of the states. ability to command all details of life, never have been there right and they and they need to stop.
Congressman, you are absolutely right. And really, when you look at this broadly, we are talking about the weaponization of the deep state, of the federal government. It's almost like we have a shadow government running things and specifically targeting conservatives who go against whatever Joe Biden and his administration say. I think that's correct. And it's not, I mean, it has been predominantly conservatives who the if you look at the Twitter files, Todd, as one example that seems to me recent and also make it particularly clear what they're doing They are have mostly targeted conservatives.
But as someone has pointed out in a good column, it's It's wrong think. Whatever the regime decides, whatever the And frankly, this is it's I'm not even sure it's within the power of Joe Biden and Democrats or Democrats in Congress. Many times they're allied, but these are this is the the bureaucratic state, the deep state. Run amok. And they decide what is acceptable thinking about elections and about pandemics and vaccines.
And then, if you have something different to say, they reach out to their friends in big tech and and take you out of the picture. They're controlling. The public square. And what Americans say. And if there's anything, can you imagine Ronald Reagan confronting the het Todd?
It it it just completely inverts Relationship between people and government that is fundamentally articulated and established in our Constitution. I'm curious, Congressman, about your reaction when you heard that FBI agents basically told President Biden's private attorneys You know what? You guys just go look for the classified documents. If you find them, great, let us know. Compare that to how they raided Mar-a-Lago with the guns drawn and refused to even let President Trump's attorneys stand on the property while they rummaged through Melania Trump's private belongings.
No comparison whatsoever. And it does, that is a piece of evidence that makes your point that it is targeting conservatives. They decided. And you say conservative, liberal. I mean, Donald Trump stands apart.
Right? He was a change agent. He expressed that he didn't give a damn what the bureaucrats in the United States government. Uh thought or believed or had established as orthodoxy. He was going to change things.
That's really a bigger offense. To them than conservative or liberal.
So it happens to be Donald Trump, he's a Republican, he's a conservative. it's really his willingness to be independent of them.
So he's a bad guy. He's orange man bad. And they and so they're entire they have an entirely different disposition toward him than they do to Joe Biden. When Joe Biden's doing it, he's inside the club, he's within the orthodoxy, and they're going to treat it differently. I'm curious, Congressman, speaking of disposition, I was one of those guys staunchly opposed to Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House.
But you know what? He's the Speaker, willing to give him a shot, and we want him to succeed. And so far, I think he's doing a good job. I know you had your concerns as well. How is the Speaker doing so far?
We haven't seen him long enough to really give it a full test. Todd, I think he's doing fine as well so far. Ultimately the resolution of that, we had 20 brave Patriots, who were prepared to say we're not going to drift M to this new Congress with sort of a directionless Lack of thinking about exactly what we're going to do. We're going to see to it that we're going to change the house so that people. Across?
the house, all the rep each were each of them representing seven hundred fifty thousand people apiece. gets to participate and their voices will be heard. We're not going to just knuckle under to the status quo where you have the same old omnibuses coming forward. And Kevin had been in leadership for fourteen years, and we've seen the status quo. It could be resolved a couple of different ways.
I was pleased. To be among the twenty. But we should have had thirty and then forty and fifty. That didn't develop, but what we did get is a very good and far-reaching agreement about the way we're going to proceed, so our procedural rules.
Some very important specifics on legislative policy strategies. We're going to the map for the American people over to begin the talk. the ship of state in terms of fiscal restraint. We've got specifics in there. And then we've created this.
Uh Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government is intended to be Something even bigger than the Uh Frank Church. Select Committee in the Senate was in 1975. To dig into exactly the problem we've been discussing. There are other parts of that agreement in terms of. Members, Conservative members on Key committees.
But that's the essence of it. as you say, some preferred to have a different person as speaker. That wasn't meant to be, but we were able to come to a good outcome, and we're already seeing the benefits of that. We are making those preparations to To have the rules properly populated or the committees properly populated to. Follow new rules about how we keep bills slimmed down and not big.
Omnibuses and also making preparations to see the weaponization subcommittee get underway.
Now, Congressman, real quick before we let you go, there has been a lot of scuttlebutt about the debt ceiling. Janet Yellen says we are going to hit it sometime on Thursday, probably run out of money by the summertime. What are you hearing, and what will that look like? What should the American people be looking for right now?
So that part of our agreement is that we will not have a debt ceiling vote until and unless we entered into a bicameral agreement, an agreement with the Senate that we're going to have that discretionary spending for fiscal year twenty twenty four will be limited to twenty twenty two levels. And all of Official Washington and their media allies are wringing hands over the impossibility of doing that. They think we've just got to continually have the federal government grow ten percent or fifteen percent a year across the board. in all pieces and and we can just not do anything.
Well, they're wrong. We can. It's just a matter of setting your mind to doing it, and we can begin the, as I say, turning the ship of state. We've got to do it. or your grandchildren and mine.
Will not recognize America. We just can't keep going the way we've been going.
So, this really could be the first major test for Kevin McCarthy. Will he stand his ground on this? I think that's correct. And I think what we've done is we've aligned Kevin McCarthy, who desperately wanted to be speaker. He'll want to be a good speaker.
But he's got, you know, he he And his success as speaker depends on Sticking to the guns.
Well, we appreciate you sticking to your guns, Congressman. And you keep fighting the good fight. Let us know how we can be of help. And we appreciate you phoning in today. Thank you, Todd.
Glad to be with you. All right, folks, Congressman Dan Bishop fighting the good fight. And you really do have to respect a man like that. And he's right. There should have been a whole lot more than twenty.
I think there were twenty one, twenty one Republicans who stood up and defended conservatism. and they got a pretty good deal out of it, too. Just ask MTG. She's on the Homeland Security Committee.
So good things are happening. And again, the big test for Kevin McCarthy is coming up. And I think he's going to do the right thing here. He has to do the right thing. All right, we've got to take a break and do the right thing.
Pay some bills. 844-747-8868 is our phone number. You know, big tech, as the Congressman just said, is a real danger. I mean, they're supposed to be neutral, but everybody knows they're not. A new book by Congressman Ken Buck blows the lid off their censorship.
It's called Crushed: Big Tech's War on Free Speech. Congressman Buck shows how Google, Facebook, Twitter are suppressing the truth about Hunter's laptop, COVID, President Trump, and a whole heck of a lot more. Big Tech controls the information flow. It's as simple as that, but they ignore your right to free speech.
So if you're tired of their bias, you can fight back. First, got to get Ken Buck's book, Crushed. Then, all this week, you can watch Rob Schmidt's TV show on Newsmap. Every night, Rob is talking to Ken Buck about Crushed and its revelations. You'll find out how Google uses search ads, advertising networks, Gmail, even YouTube to censor conservatives.
It is Absolutely shocking.
So get Ken Buck's book today, Crushed, and watch Rob Schmidt tonight on Newsmax. I always Wait, wait, wait. I have been having some problems with these new eyeglasses. I think they messed up the prescription. You see, I should have gone to like Lenscrafters or something.
But anyway, I got these fancy new glasses, and they don't seem to be working. And if I want to read something, I have to take off my glasses. Does that make any sense to anybody? They say I think it's old age, but I'm not that old. But my eyeballs are unbelievable.
All right, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Program. Happy to have you with us today. May I give a shout-out, please, to the good Catholic citizens of Des Moines, Iowa. They have been going through the ringer. The Diocese of Des Moines has been fighting back against the cancel culture mob, you know, the sex and gender revolutionaries.
And they've been going after the diocese and they're saying, well, you need to have transgender bathrooms in your Catholic schools, and you need to stop teaching in your churches that there's only male and female.
So, anyway, the diocese, you know what? Forget this.
So, they put out a set of rules. I think it's like five or six pages of rules, policies on gender identity for schools and churches. And in a nutshell, they're saying that students have to use the bathrooms and locker rooms that are consistent with their biological sex. God made you a boy, you got to use the little boy's room. God made you a girl, you got to use the little girl's room.
That makes a lot of sense. The diocese also banned preferred pronouns. In other words, he is he and she is she, the way God intended. Yeah. The Catholic Church also said that anyone struggling with gender dysphoria should be treated with charity and respect, not scorn.
In other words, a church behaving like a church should behave. Yeah. And it it just it's mind boggling because here you have the the Catholics in Des Moines and they're taking a stand for biblical values and truth.
Meanwhile, you got a lot of these evangelical churches out there and they're capitulating to the cancel culture mob. Yeah. One very well-known Southern Baptist leader says we should practice pronoun hospitality.
So it's nice to see the Diocese of Des Moines taking a stand and doing what is right. And by the way, folks, this is the way to do it. You don't have to be mean and nasty about it, like they said, treat people with charity and respect. But by golly, do not back down. That's the pro.
You know what? This is why America is in the shape it's in. People are afraid of offending people. Don't be afraid. All right, let's go to the phones here.
844-747-8868, Patty, North Carolina. Patty, what's going on? Todd, how are you? Listen, I am so riled off about him speaking about the Second Amendment, and I'm surprised he didn't mention MAGA or anybody. You know, I mean, you're right about Thomas Jefferson.
He is going after our forefathers. Oh, yes. Patty, and that's why, you see, this is why it's so dangerous. They're erasing our history. And I wrote a book called Culture Jihad.
And the whole point of that book was to warn people that just like the Islamic radicals, the Taliban, when they would go into a country, they would erase, literally turn that country's history into rubble. And then they would build something new on top of the rubble. And that's what the leftists are doing here in this country. And that's why they don't want kids to know about their history. But Tarclin.
Sure. Is it him or is it someone? Behind the scenes? No, no, no. It's somebody behind the scenes.
Patty, this guy's a puppet. That's all. We're talking about Barack Obama, Susan Rice, the World Economic Forum, and we got some audio we can play from that. John Kerry talking about them being the select human beings. That can be a good idea.
Now that I want to know nothing. What the? hell is Christopher uh Ray doing over there? That's a great question. As a matter of fact, a couple of lawmakers asking that question because you're right, the director of the FBI is over at the World Economic Forum, and that's where a lot of this crap is coming from.
You know, you can't. Make it. I am sick and tired of what he's trying. You know, they're putting down law-abiding eye care. Harry.
I I carry because I live in a rural area. in North Carolina, I carry because I have nobody to watch over me. Why I I carry because I care about my my property and my my my daughter, okay? Oh, I'm gonna tell you something. They I it should crazy his son Gets away with everything.
I mean, the guy had a a gun that he threw in a garbage can next to a school. And oh, is that all girl?
Well, it should. I don't know if it will, though. You don't think it will? You don't think any you don't think you're going to get blamed for anything? You think it's all going to fall under?
Well, look, they're trying to blame Trump for what's happening to Biden right now. It's crazy. Oh, by the way, I got to play this for you. I've got to get your reaction to this, Patty. This is Geralto, also known as Jerry Rivers.
Oh, my God. Cut number 12, please. It makes Macho, the people who possess it, oh, look at me, I'm a big deal. It's a rifle. And it's not a rifle.
Yes, it's a rifle. It is a machine. It's an ARC. It is a rifle. Eh?
Yeah. No, that's not what it is.
Well, I all I know is that AR-15s have no place in American society other than sport clubs. And I agree with them on that. I also think, ironically, that we do need more IRS agents if they say we need.
Alright, Patty.
So you think of A. I've heard enough. You know why? Geraldo, you know what? He's the one, didn't he also the one where he showed where we were walking when he was on CNN?
He was shown where the American soldiers were walking. This guy's an idiot. He's an idiot. An idiot wrapped in a moron. Patty, we're going to have to leave it there.
Good hearing from you. By the way, children, again, history. You're going to learn something if you listen to this radio program. Armalite Rifle. That's what the AR stands for, the company that actually developed the rifle back in the 1950s.
Somebody should educate Geraldo. All right, 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Starrens Radio Show. And here we go, folks, the final half hour of today's program. I want to go right now to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, Great American Patriot.
And man, is he exposing a lot of this evil that's been happening on social media? The Biden administration colluding with these big tech companies to shut down conservative thought and opinion. Want to go to the phones and chat with our good friend, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey. Mr. Bailey, good to have you with us today.
Hey, good afternoon, sir. Appreciate you having me on.
So clearly, a lot of people are very concerned about the amount of influence that not just the Biden administration, but the FBI has over social media. And of course, we got word President Trump may be coming back to Twitter. And Elon Musk wonders if the government is going to try to intervene in that.
Well, I think that's a fair concern given some of the evidence we're exposing in our case, Missouri V. Biden. And the other thing I would point out is it's not just collusion. We demonstrate collusion in the form of email traffic from unelected White House bureaucrats to big tech social media. Specifically targeting political speech on the right that they disfavor, but it's also coercion.
because the Biden administration has consistently saber rattled against big tech social media in various ways, various sanctions, if they did not comply with Biden's censorship program. And that's a good point you bring up because, again, I mean, yeah, there are a lot of leftists that work at Twitter and Facebook, but if I'm getting daily calls from the FBI saying, hey, look, this is a matter of national security, you got to take down Joe Blow's Twitter account, I'm taking down Joe Blow's Twitter account.
Well, that's absolutely right. And I think it goes beyond just the email traffic. What we've demonstrated is that the FBI, Department of Justice, CISA and DHS all had quarterly and then weekly meetings with big tech social media in the weeks and months leading up to the 2020 election, and they planted this idea. That there would be a Russian disinformation story related to Hunter Biden, and then, lo and behold, Big tech social media, but was more than happy to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story once that broke. The FBI knew about that one year before the election and was consistently meeting with and applying pressure to big tech social media in the weeks leading up to the election.
I mean, it's scary to think about the influence that these unelected bureaucrats who think that they're empowered to make decisions for the rest of us without a vote of the people or the people's elected representatives, the amount of influence that they have to suppress and censor speech.
So you've got your investigators out there and you're getting all this information coming in. I understand that a number of big names, you guys discovered that there were intentional efforts to censor some big names in the conservative world. That's absolutely right. And people can check out our social media, our Twitter feed, on our official Missouri Attorney General website. But there's a specific email I want to point to as an example, and it's from April 14th, 2021, where the director of digital strategy at the White House, Rob Flaherty, spoke.
specifically targets videos and content from Tommy Lauren and Tucker Carlson and asks the big tech social media platform to remove that content. That is exactly what I'm talking about when I say that the Biden White House undermines the First Amendment by censoring speech on the right that they disagree with. It's just shocking. I mean, we all sort of suspected it. And I know during my time, I was at Fox for 15 years, and I would get in trouble with the Facebook and Twitter overlords on a pretty regular basis.
But you just look at the evidence out there and know that something is going on, whether it's shadow banning or outright banning of people.
Well, that's true. And it's about protecting the First Amendment. And in this country, we used to elevate the rules of the game above the players and the outcomes. And the Biden administration has clearly rejected that basic principle. But I'll point out that in our constitutional republic, wherein states are the vanguard in the fight against the rise of the federal administrative state, it's state attorneys general who are the tip of the spear.
And I'm proud to be leading this fight. I love that. And I go back to a tweet that you wrote a couple of weeks ago, and it's just. It's mind-blowing to know that this was happening. You said we have hard evidence that President Biden's administration colluded with social media companies to censor differing viewpoints and silence misinformation that was later deemed true.
What sort of recourse is there when you're going after these guys?
Well, in a lot of the ways that the damage has been done, Missourians and people across the nation have been deprived of free, fair and open debate because of the government censorship of speech.
However, we can get prospective relief. What we seek is a court order Preventing federal officials from censoring speech moving forward. In this nation, The remedy for false speech has always been counter speech. And we've got to get back to that world. And the depth of the problem is demonstrated by another piece of evidence I want to point you to, and that's an email from april ninth, twenty twenty one, in which the Rob Flaherty points out that the request for this censorship reaches to the highest, and I mean highest, levels of the White House.
That's a direct quote from that email.
So the depth of this problem is vast. And only a court order can protect us going forward to prevent Future suppression of free speech, future censorship, federal government censorship of free speech. On big tech social media platforms. And I know this is again at the federal level, there are certain protections offered to Facebook, Twitter and some of the other big social media platforms, but there was a canvy out there. I'm wondering, can we go after those special protections with the information that you've uncovered?
Well, some of the states have tried to do that. I point to Florida and Texas as two states who have tried to enact some protections to prevent big tech social media from abusing our constitutional rights and suppressing speech. And there's been some success there. But at the end of the day, like I said, In the current framework, the current statutes that we have on the books, it's state attorneys general who are leading this fight, who are the tip of the spear to fight back against unelected federal bureaucrats. feel empowered to censor speech.
And we're going to stay in that fight. All right. Well, I'm glad you are because this needs to be exposed. And as you folks are going through, if you guys see my name, I hope somebody lets my team know because it's aggravating, especially when you know you're not out there doing anything wrong and you're just trying to get news and information out there for crying out loud. Yes, that's right.
And at the end of the day, I served in the United States military, was proud to take an oath to support and defend the Constitution, was willing to put my life on the line to do it. And so I believe in this stuff. I believe in the First Amendment. I believe in free, fair and open debate. And we have a right as conservatives and even as liberals, to have free speech free from government censorship.
All right. Well, Mr. Attorney General, we're going to leave it there. Good luck to you in these cases. We're going to be following these developments very closely.
Where can people go if they want to get more information and follow the work you guys are doing? Certainly, check out AGO Andrew Dailey, Missouri, our official website. We will be posting regularly just to keep the people updated on the work we're doing. I love it. All right.
Well, thank you very much, and we appreciate the great work you're doing for the country. Thank you, sir. Thank you for everything you do. All right, there you go. The Missouri Attorney General, Andrew Bailey.
Unbelievable. And by the way, the problem is still not resolved. I was talking to Jack Pasobik over at Human Events a couple of weeks ago. His stuff used to always show up in my feed. I regularly check out his feed, several other people, and all of a sudden it just disappeared.
Have to physically search for his name to get his information.
So that tells me that there are still people inside the Twitter world that are censoring conservatives. And you say, well, you know what? It's Twitter's own problem. You know, you're not paying the bills. It's free.
So why are you complaining?
Well, I'm complaining because they set themselves up and advertise themselves as a free speech platform. And clearly, they are not a free speech platform. Got to take a break here, folks. 844-747-8868. That is our telephone number.
You heard the Attorney General of the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, and now is a great time. You know, look, I'm telling you, the dollar is being stretched.
So, what better way? To check out Patriot Mobile. They're America's only Christian conservative wireless carrier, and they have a plan to fit any budget. And they're not going to strong arm you like the other guys do. But even better than that, when you pay your bill, they're donating a portion of that money to fight for causes we care about, especially these important school board races.
Patriotmobile.com/slash Todd. That's patriotmobile.com/slash Todd. Or you can give them a call, 972-Patriot.
Now, listen, if you want that discount, got to use my name Todd. That's patriotmobile.com/slash Todd. So apparently, President Biden doesn't know how to pronounce the name of his vice president.
So they've been able to round up some kids to help the president understand and learn how to pronounce the vice president's first name, Cut 13. That's what I asked Kamala. I'm asking for your trust and support in 2020 for Kamala and me. But as Kamala said, it's not Camela, it's Kamala. Oh, the more you know.
There you go. I always thought it was Cam in defense of the Vice President, or the President, rather, I thought it was Camela.
So, anyway. Gacko figure.
So by the way, did you see the photograph? They had one of the the sports teams up at the White House taking the big group picture, and they asked Biden to take a knee. Did you see then they asked Camela I'm sorry, Kamala. They asked her to take any. She refused, adamantly refused to take any.
There's the leader of the free world bowing down. On one knee. I'm surprised the guy was able to get back up. But anyway, there you go. All right.
I want to play some audio here, and we're not going to play this in its entirety, but this is, I want to go back to that first-hour conversation about this poor hockey player that's getting the what-for. There was a TV host going off on this guy for refusing to wear the Pride Jersey Cut 18. Three things technically. Provorov also spoke to the media after the game. And echoed what Tortorella said, so I didn't feel the need to run it.
This happened in baseball last year with the Tampa Bay Rays. There were five members of the Tampa Bay Rays who wouldn't wear a patch supporting gay rights, and Major League Baseball didn't do much. was a story for a little bit. Um John Tortorella, you know. many years ago.
When um You know, racial injustice and the silos I was stable when racial when Colin Kaepernick first started kneeling during national anthem said, anyone who does that on my team. is going to sit. And he has a son who's an Army Ranger.
So it's not like Tordorello in the past hasn't spoken on on sensitive issues. Um The theme from the National Hockey League is: hockey is for everyone.
Okay. The theme is not hockey is for everyone, dot, dot, dot. Unless you don't believe in gay rights, then do whatever you want. If the National Hockey League is going to do this, if any league is going to do this, do it properly. or re-evaluate what you're doing.
Because there's not a lot of repercussions, and I'm seeing From any league.
Now it could change with the NHL. Could change with the NHL. I think you fire the flyers a million dollars for this. I'm not kidding. Figure this out and stop offending people on nights where it's not about that.
It's supposed to be about inclusivity. The National Hockey League need to attack this and figure this out. Because what I heard last night was offensive. And it didn't make any sense because For instance, if that was a military night, Okay? If anyone in Canada or in the States on a military appreciation night wouldn't wear a jersey pre-game, do you have any idea?
The uproar that would have happened on that. Do you have any idea the backlash? Do you have any idea what happened on social media? It's ridiculous what would happen. It was just a minute ago we were talking about the uproar that was happening with FIFA fever, where if you were seen with so much as a rainbow anywhere, you had to fear for your life, imprisonment, or death.
Seriously. And now here we are. I just think the NHL has to do something here. This is not good enough. This is not good enough.
Hockey is for everyone, dot, dot, dot, unless you don't agree with gay rights is not the phrasing of this. You're either in this or you're not. And one last point. Nothing scares me more than any human being who says, I'm not doing this because of my religious beliefs. Because when you looked at people's lives, you normally say that publicly, you'd throw up at what you saw.
You would throw up at what you saw. And I have seen that a million times in a lot of different ways.
So don't don't give me that. With respect. Don't give me that, because no one's perfect.
Alright, don't feed me the religious beliefs lying. And all of a sudden, the NHL is going to back off this. The National Hockey League today. Needs to fund that organization a million dollars and reevaluate how they support gay rights. Because that is insulting.
That is the number one trending topic in Canada. That is insulting what happened in Philadelphia. And if the NHL is serious about this, they say they are. We'll see. We'll see how serious they are today.
But that whole thing was mishandled and I part of me couldn't believe it. Part of me could, considering how the NHL sometimes handles things. It's too important, and that's why you're continuing to talk about it, because you're not just going to brush it under the rubber.
Well said, Dean. All right, that's a guy named Sig Sid Sexario. No, I'm not kidding. That's how he is the yeah he's Canadian.
So you got to discount that, the Canadian part. Sid Sexario from Breakfast Television, that's the name of the show. And man, the guy's really upset about all he what he said he needs to be fired or fined a million dollars for what? Again, my question is: can we just not play hockey? He says hockey is for everyone.
Okay, it is. But we're not talking about saluting the military. They're talking about saluting a sexual style. Whatever you want to do in your bed is your business. Why do we have to celebrate it on the ice?
I don't understand that. But this guy actually speaks for a lot of people out there, and he's right about one thing. People are really fired up. People are very angry about this. And the idea is that if you do not support gay rights, you don't deserve to have a job.
You don't deserve to play a sport. You don't even deserve to go to church. That's what that guy says. Anyway, we'll see how this all plays out here. I don't think the NHL is going to go down that path of punishing.
the hockey player. Because honestly, I mean, oh, maybe is this a big deal? I mean, is gay rights important for you as a hockey fan? What about as a basketball fan? Is that an important thing for you?
That your players are out there and they're waving the flag. I mean, maybe they just need to do away with all uniforms and mascots and make everybody wear the rainbow colors. Yeah. And I'm sure there are people over in California that would be very happy for that. I just don't get it.
What's what's wrong with just getting out there and playing Hockey match. I just don't get it. Anyway, we'll keep an eye on that. We've got the story up at our website, ToddSterns.com. But Sid Sexerillo, I don't know.
Maybe the story hits close to home for that guy. Who knows? I just don't know. Can we go back to Geraldo for this? I'm really concerned for Fox News.
I have so many wonderful friends and colleagues and great memories there until they decided not to renew my contract. Don't want to talk about that right now. But I feel bad for these people. Most of the people that work at Fox are not conservative. They really aren't.
And I think the average American now understands that. I did not when I got hired. If I had gone into Fox knowing that just about everybody I was working with was a raging liberal, I probably would have kept some of my views to myself, to be honest with you. Cut number 12. It makes Macho, the people who possess it, oh, look at me, I'm a big deal.
It's a rifle. And it's not a rifle. Yes, it's a rifle. It is a machine. What is ARC?
It is a rifle. Eh? Yeah. No, that's not what it is.
All I know is that AR-15s have no place in American society other than sport clubs. And I agree with them on that. I also think, ironically, that we do need more IRS agents if they say we need I'm going to go out on a limb here. I don't think anybody on that panel on the five actually knows what an AR-15 is. Aside from Pete Hegseth, but I don't think he's on the five.
I don't think they do. I I think they're completely clueless about it. But for Geraldo to get out there, I mean, it's one thing to be uneducated, but Geraldo, really? I mean, Fox News is paying good money to keep that guy on the air, and he doesn't even know what an AR-15 is? Oh no, sounds like something CNN would be doing.
