And if you become a victim, Aura's 24/7 U.S. based support team is there to help.

What? No, I'm not going to start out the show by saying I told you so. But I did tell you, America. I, I told you so. Hello, everybody.

Welcome to the Todd Sterns Radio Show. No, it is an extravaganza as we begin the march toward the midterm elections. About a month ago, I I warned everybody about what was going to happen. No doubt that the polling data was going to skew heavily toward the Republicans, or rather the Democrats. Then that would be scaled back, and of course that's where we are now.

Most of the major polling has the Republicans within a three point margin there, so that's going to give the pollsters cover for the weeks and. Weeks of disinformation they were spreading in these fake polls.

So I told you, don't pay any attention to the polling data that's out there. And there's nothing wrong with talking about it. There's nothing wrong with having conversations and alerting you. But do not, do not let your decision on whether or not to vote be impacted by these fake polls. You know, the other part of it is I warned you about the media coverage and to be very, very careful about any negative.

Stories coming out, and there are a lot of negative stories. The very latest is involving Susie Wiles. You've got a number of the the insiders in D.C. saying that Trump is ready to give her the heave ho and bring somebody else in as chief White House chief of staff. Katie Zachariah, the new White House press secretary, is coming under all sorts of fire from folks because of her really lack of professionalism.

Behind the microphone, I mean, it's is she going to get better? Probably, I, you know. But again, for me, whoever is whoever is making the suggestions to the president, we need to have a conversation with those folks because I'm not sure that President Trump's interests are being well served right now by many within his administration. And look, for me, it's very simple. And then you've got what Kimberly Guilfoyle, who now the latest news is that.

She kept a burn book, and she's got all the goods on everybody, and she may be willing to spill the beans, and that may be the case. I mean, it all very well may be true, but I do, do you find it coincidental that all of this is coming out just before the midterm election? No, of course not.

So you really can't believe any of this stuff. And again, it may be true. Hear me on all of this may be true. We know that there are a lot of grifters who we. Eased their way into the administration, no doubt about that.

But I'm going to wait until after the midterms to really do a deep dive on who these people are and why they have betrayed the president.

Now, just think about this for a moment, and this is one thing that concerned me, and my my eyebrow was raised when we got word that Timber that that Caroline Lovett. Was leaving the White House now. For me, the reason why my eyebrow was raised is because she is a very important puzzle piece for this administration. Her job, which she did incredibly well, was to get out there and defend the president's agenda and to defend the president himself. And Caroline Levitt delivered every single to every single day.

She went out there. She went to war with the media.

Now, why would somebody like Caroline Levitt leave the administration just before the midterms? And that was why my eyebrow was raised. Normally, if there's going to be some sort of a change like that, it would happen after the midterms because there is a there's a certain time when you don't want to have any people leaving, departing, no matter what. You need stability. You need familiar faces, and now, especially three weeks out from the election, is not the not the time for on job training.

So for me, that was that was a big warning. A big red flag. Wait a second. Why is why is Caroline Levitt leaving? And she originally told us it was what to spend time with her her family.

She just had a baby, and of course, all of that made sense. Absolutely, you want to spend time with your family. But then they almost immediately announced that she was going to work at Fox News Channel as a contributor.

So, I am sorry. Which is it? You know, were you going to, were you leaving the administration to get a job at Fox, or were you leaving the administration to go be with your kid? And right now, we know that it was the Fox job, which again would have been waiting for her. She would, she would have been a great get.

Either, yeah, I mean, after the election.

So, again, I just there's something.

So, there are some things going on within the administration, no doubt about that. And there are a lot of people that are grifters, and they know that the clock is ticking, and their days of grifting at the expense of the American people are about to be over. They will come to a conclusion.

Now, let me just say. And by the way, hold on. I'll get to that in just a moment. But let me just let me just say this: we have a job to do, and it doesn't matter how bad the news stories are. Doesn't matter how bad the polling data says things are.

You've got to. You've just got to be laser focused on election day, and you've got to go and vote. That's your job. Just to go and vote. Yesterday after this show, I got into the Cadillac and I drove to the polling place and I proudly cast my vote.

And I went down the line. If there was an R behind their names, they got my vote. I voted straight Republican ticket. Proud to say I did it. Because we've got too much too much at stake, and I know there in many of these states there are independents running, and people are butt hurt about the Republican candidates doing this or that.

I get it, and no, you're not going to hear an argument from me. But at the end of the day, we've got to stop the communist insurgency into our country. And the only people at this point in in political life in America, the only people that are capable of doing that, have the resources and the candidates are the Republicans. If there's any other party that is viable, then you let me know, and we'll take a good long look at them. But I'm just telling you right now, this is what we've got to work with.

So you can stay home and let the communists win, and then there's going to be a knock on your door, and they're going to come and haul you away. You say that's just ludicrous. Enough with the hyperbole. Enough hyperbole. Oh, that's not hyperbole.

That's exactly what the Democrats say they're they're going to do to us. They want to haul us away. They want to send us to gulags or reeducation camps. I go all the way back to when Bernie Sanders was running against Hillary Clinton, and one of Bernie Sanders' paid campaign staffers said that if they won the election, they would round up all of the Trump supporters and send them off to reeducation camps. James O'Keefe had the had the audio and the video recordings.

It was not in dispute. And then yesterday. Down in Florida, you you had one of the candidates down there saying that if that that she wanted to have her Republican opponent thrown into prison, you are going to be hearing. This is the voice of Angie Nixon. She is the Democrat nominee for Senate from Florida, talking about Republican Senator Ashley Moody.

Take a listen to cut forty-six. They are spreading like a lot of disinformation and lies on commercials about me, saying things like I want to abolish prisons and I want to defund the police. Why would I want to do that when I want her locked up and punished in jail for what she has done? And so, you know, we are going to continue to stump on this campaign trail all across the state, from the panhandle to the keys, and we're looking forward to them calling me senator on. November third, you want your Republican opponent locked up?

You know she, yeah, basically yes, because of what she did. Yes, I absolutely would want want that to happen. Yes, it's not hyperbole. That that's what they want to do. That's what you heard this woman.

She said, "I don't want to defund the police." Oh yes, you do, ma'am. Yes, you do. She wants to dispatch the police to arrest her political enemy, Ashley Moody. Ashley Moody has not been accused of any crimes. I mean, the only crime in the eyes of, I guess, the Democrats is Ashley Moody got elected.

Ashley Moody supports the president of the United States, and apparently that makes that a crime.

So, no, it's not hyperbole. I'm just telling you these people are dangerous, and they hate us, and they want to shut down anybody who disagrees with them. You've got a political viewpoint that differs from the Democrats. You've got a target on. Backs.

I mean, that's ultimately that. That's what's going on here. I'm just telling you. Then I got word that yesterday. I don't know if you guys heard about this.

Jack Smith was keeping a a spread chart, a spreadsheet on all of you folk out there who purchased Trump merchandise. No, I'm not. I am not making this up. This is from the New York Post. Special Counsel, former Special Counsel Jack Smith, obtained personal information on over six hundred thousand Republicans, including Republicans who purchased red MAGA hats.

That's according to subpoenas returned and obtained by Senate, the Senate Republican Committee. That would be the Judiciary Committee. In a Wednesday memorandum, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley—I'm reading from the New York Post, by the way—Chuck Grassley, the Republican from Iowa, disclosed the details of data that Smith's office received, denouncing the former prosecutor of President Trump for abuse of authority. More than 148,000 rows of spreadsheets contain the findings, including donors, Trump donors from 2005 to 2021, dates of birth, home addresses, email addresses, Republican Party registration information about credit cards, employment history were also in the in the materials. Grassley said this update shows that Jack Smith and the Biden Justice Department collected incredibly invasive donor data and voter data beyond what could conceivably be necessary for Smith or his team to fulfill.

The special counsel's mandate.

So, what was he doing, ladies and gentlemen? Why in the world would anybody from the Justice Department collect the private information of Todd Sterns, whose only crime was to purchase a red MAGA hat online? What do you think is going on there? I'm going to tell you what I think is going on. I think they were creating an enemies list.

Now, years ago, there was a movie. That depicted the the invasion of America by the Soviets, and in this movie, one of the first things it was called Red Dawn. Red Dawn was a movie. If any of you remember Red Dawn, and in this movie, one of the first things they did, the Soviets, when they invaded, they went to the local gun stores and they wanted to collect all the registrars or the registered gun owners in that community, so they could go after and target those individuals. And it makes me wonder if, if in fact Kamala Harris had had won in 2024, is it possible that they would have used these databases to to go after and stage pre-dawn guns drawn raids on the homes of conservatives in America?

According to the New York, the New York Post, information on red "Make America Great Again" hats was also shared, including the buyers' names and home addresses. Smith's office further collected 2024 Trump campaign products, including the red hats, T-shirts, mugs, and even doormats. This is outrageous, and honestly, if the Democrats were not corrupt, they they should have condemned this as well. This is beyond the pale. But this is where we are, ladies and gentlemen, all part of the ongoing Arctic Frost and Jack Smith oversight investigation.

My question is, why isn't Jack Smith in prison right now? That's just unacceptable. Just unacceptable. But anyway, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Just another reason why we've got to get out there and vote on election day.

And I want you to prove. I want you to prove them all wrong. I want you to prove. Fox News Channel wrong. What they did yesterday on the channel is appalling because Fox News is literally using their base to demoralize you.

And I know, I know, a lot of you folks still watch Fox News Channel, but Fox News is now out there and they're saying there's no chance that Republicans are going to win. It's going to be a bloodbath. They're going to be massive losses. It is all over. That's what Fox News is saying, and I just don't believe it.

I can't believe it, ladies and gentlemen. And you know why I can't believe it? Because it's unthinkable. The idea of communists gaining a foothold in Congress because you, the good, hardworking taxpayers of America, decided to stay home. I I can't let my mind go there.

All right, we're going to take a break. We're opening up the phone lines. Whether you agree or disagree with me, I want you to give us a call today. What's your take on the midterms? How do you feel it's going?

What is your gut telling you? You guys are a smart bunch. You know what's going on. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Again, I'll repeat the number.

Want to share this information from Jake Sherman over at Punchbowl News? He says the Republican panic is on clearest display at the various political organizations in Washington, charged with spending hundreds of millions of dollars on House races. GOP lawmakers from around the country, many in deep red seats, are approaching superpacs with polls showing them losing or on the brink of being down.

Meanwhile, Democrat packs are swimming in data showing opportunities in seats that were never on the radar. The map keeps expanding into deeper red territory. According to Mr. Sherman, Democrats have seen evidence of margin of error races in Indiana's fifth district. That's Congresswoman Victoria Spartz's district.

President Trump won that by seventeen points. New York's open twenty first district, Trump won twenty one points. Nevada's open second district, Trump won by fourteen points. And in Kentucky's sixth district, Trump won by fifteen points.

So here's a question for you, and we're just going to play. This is a theoretical question here. All right, let's just say that all of this is right, and the Republicans are about to go down in a massive defeat. Let's just, for the sake of the argument here, and they're about to go down in a massive defeat. What would you say is the reason why?

If the Republicans lose and they lose big, what do you blame that on? Why would the Republicans lose the midterm elections? Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six is our telephone number. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Curious to hear your thoughts on that.

Republicans, meanwhile, are. Funneling more money into South Carolina's first district, where the GOP candidate is trying to hold outgoing Congresswoman Nancy Mace's seat. Also in play is a district in southern Minnesota. Trump won by twelve points. Democrats there allegedly gaining ground.

But why is that? Why? Why would you think the Republicans would lose? Again, our number nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. This is the Todd Stern Show.

In 2025, the FBI reported that Americans lost more than 21 billion dollars to fraud and identity theft. dot.com/safe. That's aura. a u r a dot.com/safe. And let's Brett Hume. Brett, let's start thirty thousand feet.

We're closing in, obviously on election day. Where do you see things right now?

Well, I think that the Republicans have to be concerned that this might turn out to be a little bit like first, like 1980, where the Republicans won a landslide and nobody expected it, and Ronald Reagan became president. Or 1994, where it looked like Bill Clinton was—he was campaigning much the way he was president, of course, Democrat. He was campaigning much the way Trump has, tricrossing the country. The Republicans that year had a program. Called the Contract for America, and Clinton was calling it the Contract on America, and I was covering the White House at the time.

I'll never forget it. I thought, well, maybe he's making headway here with this. You know, he had the biggest megaphone, as presidents always do, and he got big crowds. and And the Democrats and the and the president's party absolutely got slaughtered in that race, and and got control of the House for the first time in decades. The Republicans have to worry that something like that may happen to them in this race, where not only do they lose the close ones, but they lose a lot that weren't even thought to be close, and you get a big washout.

I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I think it could happen. Yeah, and you look at the the polls. The races are pretty tight on the big Senate races, also some governors' races. But if you look at our poll, the new poll out tonight, which party would be better to handle? And you ask a list of questions: foreign policy, gas.

Prices, inflation, and prices, and you see Democrats with pretty significant leads in places where Republicans have been, especially when it comes to foreign policy. Lead, yeah, absolutely, Brett. I mean, you know, those are the three major issues right there, and the Republicans are way underwater by you know any number of points that the polls reflect. And you know the polling is similar about the president himself. You know he's out there saying he wants he wants everybody to act like he's on the ballot.

Well, that's fine if you're simply trying to turn out Republicans. But the polls, the polling that we now have show that that his support among Republicans has diminished since since Election Day, and they're also showing that that his approval rating is what thirty six percent. That means he might get 36 percent of the vote out, but look, 64 percent disapprove. That is really bad at this stage when he's out there front and center, and it may raise the question in the minds of some people whether he should be out there front and center the way he is, given his standing.

So I think it's a tough situation for the Republicans. They may be able to overcome it, but it won't be easy. All right, there you have it, Brett Hume and Brett Baer going at it on Fox News Channel yesterday, and there they are just as bad as the legacy media is. Again, put putting out this idea that Trump needs to pull himself off the campaign trail. I think if Trump does that, the Republicans could lose.

When I see those crowds at the Trump rallies, I see enthusiasm, I see excitement, and I see I see voters that are fired up and ready to go and vote on election day. And I'm curious about you. Do you buy into the narrative that Fox News is trying to sell?

Well, let's go to the phone lines. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Ken in Texas, listening to us on Patriot Talk nine twenty. Hi, Ken. What's on your mind?

Well, I have one thing to say. Your question about if the Republicans lose, why would it be? The only way. If they lose, the reason would be lack of people going out to vote. Because Republicans are Republicans are Republicans, but they're they're very very upset with what's going on right now.

There's not there's not enough Republicans getting on TV and telling the Democrats how full of BS they are. They're being politically correct, trying to be nice people. They can't be nice people this day and time. Again, I go go out there and and really, really get after it. They're not doing that.

Ken, I'm curious about about the Senate race. There, you've got Talarico, you've got Ken Paxton, and you know, if you believe all the polling data out there, well, Talarico is going to run away with this thing. Are you even? Are you guys sensing that? Is is that something that's being openly talked about?

The only ones that will talk about are the Republicans, Democrats. They, as soon as you bring something up, they they they scream and holler. They don't even want to talk intelligently. That's it.

Well, it's it's scary. It's scary. Not only that, but we have that lady that's running for governor, Gina Henahosa. She wants to bring in a state income tax. Ken, that's why you've got to get out and vote on election day.

And Ken, by the way, Tuesday I'm going to be in Houston, and we love to see you at Collectors Firearms. We're going to be there from four to seven. It's going to be a lot of fun. I'll be signing copies of my new book. We're going to have a lot of great food, beverages, and a chance for you to win firearms, courtesy of our friends at Patriot Talk 920.

So, Ken, we hope to see you out there on Tuesday. I have something to add to that. I have a daughter that's an avid Democrat. We get into it, and I invited her to collectors' firearms. And that day, she doesn't know what's going on.

I told her they're going to have a happy hour, the chance to win a gun, but I didn't tell her what else was going on. Ken, you're devious. I love it. I love it. You know what, Ken?

We might we might be able to convert her. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, she's. She she she works at TSA there in Hobby.

Uh oh. Uh oh. Well, maybe. And she. Maybe we need to give her a pass.

I don't. I don't want to get pulled aside for the extra special coverage. You know what I mean? She she she just all she's aggravated with anything to do with Republic, and we. We're to the point we can hardly talk anymore.

But she did agree to go down to collect his firearms with me. All right. Well, I'll be on my best behavior, Ken. How's that? I'll be on my best behavior for you.

Okay. I'm a retired Navy senior chief. I'll have my hat on. Oh well. By the way, happy it was a big birthday for the Navy yesterday.

So happy, happy birthday. Yes, it's the greatest. It's the greatest service of all. Ken, thank you for serving our great country, and we look forward to seeing you Tuesday. I think there's going to be a big crowd there, Dylan.

I mean, it's going to be a lot of fun.

Sounds like it's going to be the the place to be. It is the place to be. That in Gainesville, Georgia, October the 27th, which is the day before my birthday. I need to tell Bill Maine that Bill does the morning show there at WGN. I want a candle in my banana pudding.

That's the least they could do. Let me tell you something. This cafe, where I this, it's just a great cafe, the Longstreet Cafe. They're hosting our big book signing event, sponsored by our friends at WDUN, and we're really looking forward to that. Coming up October 27th, so put that down on your calendar, ladies and gentlemen.

And we're going to be broadcasting the show from their beautiful new studios on the square in Gainesville.

So that's going to be a highfalutin affair. Let's go back to Texas. Our good friend Quinn listening to us on Patriot Talk nine twenty. Quinn, I look. You have to be there Tuesday.

We have to meet in person. I'm gonna try.

Okay, we got to make that happen. Yeah, thank you for giving up the good work. First, I'm gonna say I encourage all be papa again. Get off the vote for be papa again. I am Ken.

I'm a citizen. I'm a born a racial. I care so much for this country. If I can go to vote, all the American Republican can too. Save this country because we do not want to live with Communist Party.

Let's go back to deal. The USA Republican might lose everything. The House and the Senate. The only way we lose the Democrat, pretty good still. I've been well known for a long time.

They still and they lie.

So anybody I could imagine the baby Democrat must have no brain at all. Could I just could imagine myself to be that Democrat Party?

So that's all I have to say. And and Quinn, you came.

So I want. We have a lot of new listeners, and and they don't know your story. That you came to this country. You fled the very thing that the communists want to inflict on the rest of us here in America. Correct.

Correct. Who want to live a communist party? If we don't win this election, because if Papa can sit at home, go vote, please. I beg you, Quinn.

Well said. I care enough for this country, and I'm in the morning race here, and I am Senison, and I know you can too. Please. Quinn, you're a great American patriot. God bless you, and we do hope to see you Tuesday there at Collectors Firearms in Houston, nine zero one two six zero five nine two six our telephone number.

That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Oh, yesterday I've got I almost forgot to tell the story, but Quinn said something that sparked my memory.

So I show up at the at the polling place, and I didn't normally. I'm just going to tell you. For the past, I don't know, three or four election cycles, literally, I walk in, show my ID, go and ask for my paper ballot. By the way, ask for a paper ballot. I, I fill in all the circles and leave.

It's like three minutes, four minutes max. But yesterday, when I went to go show up for early voting, that was about a thirty-five minute wait in the line, and it was really amazing because a lot of parents brought their children, their young children, along to watch them vote. I know there were a couple of, and I don't know if you guys do this in your towns, but if you're a first-time voter, they kind of make a big deal of that, and you know, there's a lot of applause. They announce, you know, as you walk in, and they say, "Are you a first-time?" Voter and say you what like an eighteen year old say yeah yeah I'm a first time voter you know you're and and if you're eighteen Dylan you know you're kind of like you're you're kind of I don't want to say embarrassed but you're you know shy you know you don't want people knowing your business. There's a lot of adults around.

It's intimidating.

So, so there was like a kid in front of me, and she was. I guess she was. This was her first time voting because she said they. They asked her, and she said, "Yes, this is my first time voting." And so the lady, the lady working the desk, says, "We got a first time voter," and everybody starts applauding. The poor kid was so embarrassed.

Aww. It's a big thing. No, it is a big deal. It is a big deal.

So, what I remember, though. As I was, I was right. It was my turn. It had been like thirty-five minutes, and I'm waiting. And it was my turn, and then I saw the door open.

There was a woman, and she was accompanied by clearly at least one of them was her child. The child was probably in his seventies, and she must have been in her eighties or maybe early nineties, and she could barely walk. And so we all. Just stopped, and I, you know, I told the the lady who was kind of guarding the line. I said, "Please let these people go.

You know, let them cut line here." And they were already going to do that, but and it took her maybe I don't know four or five minutes to walk that that space between the front door to the counter. And I'm watching this poor lady is bent over. She's shuffling. She can barely walk. And I thought to myself.

You know there are a lot of people in this country who are not going to vote, and they say they you know they don't have the time, they don't care, they've got other things they want to do. And I thought about that elderly woman who made it a point to go and vote yesterday, and if that woman can do it, so can all of you.

So I don't know who this lady was, but God bless her. She's a great American patriot. I don't know who that 18 year old kid was who came for the very first time to vote. I don't even know if I don't know what she voted for—Democrat, Republican—I don't know. Doesn't matter.

She's an American patriot because she engaged in her rights, her right to decide her future, and we all have that right. And ladies and gentlemen, I implore you. You just heard two callers from Texas, and they said what needed to be said. If Republicans go and vote on election day, we win. All of you Christians out there, you go and vote on election day.

We win. It's really that. It really is that simple. All right, got to take a break. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six coming up.

Our good buddy Steve Gill's going to join us, and later in the show, Chad Connelly from Faith wins. This is the Todd Stearns show. All right, welcome back. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Let's go to Gainesville, Georgia.

W.D.U.N. Our terrific affiliate in those parts. Wayne is on the line. Hi, Wayne. What's on your mind?

I just want to say people need to go vote. Wayne, I completely agree with that. I know early voting's been underway for a couple of days there in in Georgia. have Have you already gotten out there to vote? I voted yesterday.

I carried a great grandson with me to vote. I am 89 years old, and I know lots of people, and a lot of people know me. And I love them, and I want them to do good for their self and their community. And go vote, everybody, go vote. Wayne, you are a great American patriot, and it's so good to hear your voice again.

It's been a long time, but I know who I am. I know I do know who you are. Absolutely, I know who you are. And Grace already voted too.

Well, good. I am so glad to hear that, and we just we love you guys. And I still think you have the best barbecue joint in Gainesville, Georgia. But we don't have it anymore. I know.

Sad about that. I know. I didn't want to bring that part of it up, but I know. I I do remember, and you you kept me well fed over the years. And I'm gonna come see you at Lone Street.

Yes, ma'am. I I I need to get your new book.

Well, we're gonna have some copies there, and I will be happy to sign one for you. And I can't wait to give you a hug. I cannot wait. All right, Miss. Listen to you every day.

Well, thank you, and I know our friends at WDUN greatly appreciate that too. They're good people, and they're just a lot of good people that listen to this radio show around the country. Wayne, God bless you. Let's go to Jeff in Georgia. Hi, Jeff.

What's on your mind?

How you doing, Todd? I'm good. Thank I thank you for asking. Hey, I just wanted to call. I'm a Christian man, and I I talk.

You know, I asked one guy at a yard sale. He's Christian that had taught for 20 years in a, you know, the kids, and you know, the kids. And he asked him, "What he thought of Trump?" He didn't like him at all. He said he was in there for just trying for himself.

So then I went and talked to another Christian man I know, and he he didn't like him either, which really shocked me. I didn't expect that. He said that he asked me, "Would you want your kid for him to be a role model to your kid?" He said that to me. What did you respond? What did you say to him?

I said, "Yeah, I would." And then I talked to a third a preacher, and I told him about the other two because I was shocked, and and he didn't say anything. I said they got TDS or something, and I said you know what TDS is. He said no, he's never heard of it.

So I don't think he pays attention. Wow.

So he he doesn't even know that he has Trump derangement syndrome. No, ah man, stage four too. It sounds like stage four. That's not good.

Well, I remember the the moral majority with Reagan. I was part of that. You know, the silent majority, and I don't think I don't know if we have that anymore.

Well, Jeff, I I don't know. I one of the big challenges. I think one of the reasons why Trump got elected was because of so many independent voters making the swing over. Because there are a lot of Christians out there who just don't like Trump. They bought into the woke stuff coming from the pulpits, and we've got to do something about that.

But but, Jeff, I appreciate you calling in. The computer is going to cut us off here. Christians, go and vote. And by the way, it's your lawmakers, your local lawmakers on the ballot, not Donald J. Trump.

All right, hang tight, everybody. Gotta take a break nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. This is the Todd Stearns show. From Memphis, Tennessee, on the banks of the mighty Mississippi, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's love, that's right.

Our love is American. Right, Todd Starn. You know, Dylan. Right before the show started, I popped into the the control room. I never know what you guys are doing in there because you guys prefer to keep it dark, so I can't see you.

I don't know what's going on, and you know, I'm not saying there's anything nefarious going on. I just can't. I can't see what you guys are up to. It's better that way. Are you?

I was concerned about that. Yeah.

Now, back when Dieter was here, we needed the lights on at all times. Yes, he he moves around a lot, and he can knock over something if he can't see it. It's dark. He's like crazy, like a fox. Yes.

So anyway, I walk in there, and I notice Ian is busy working away. And Ian, is it? Are we allowed to share his his preferred religious denomination? Are we allowed to talk? Yes, he gives the approval.

Okay, so he's a Presbyterian. I don't know why I'm laughing. I don't know why I'm laughing. I'm sorry. We love the Presbyterians, but he's one of the good guys, right?

Because there there are some far left Presbyterians that are basically Satanists.

So, but Ian, he's not that. No, he's not that. He's one of the good guys. They still believe in Jesus. Um.

So so anyway, I walk in and Ian's got a big jug of the what is it called? Simple. What's the brand name? Simply. Simply.

That's Like the high dollar juice, right? Yep. You know when we were kids growing up, and and I don't know if I don't know if nowadays this is a thing, but when we were growing up, we weren't allowed to drink that great. That was like the that was like the premier, like orange juice, right? The Simply.

Yeah.

We got the stuff that was frozen in the like frozen food section, and it came like like the biscuits, you know, where you get the in the the cylinder. Yeah.

And you had to like. Defy it, the juice, and that's what that's what mom used to serve. That was orange juice, which really I think was basically orange Kool Aid. Yeah, essentially.

So anyway, Ian's got a big ol' and it's almost empty. It's like a jug of Simply, and it's grape juice. Simply grape. Simply, I've I had no idea they did Simply grape. Simply only did orange.

Me too.

So this is. Are you a pulp free guy? Oh yes. Yeah.

Why would I want to drink something that has sludge things in it? It's like orange sewage. Terrible. What's the pulp doing in here? Seriously, filter that out, man.

One time I accidentally bought the pulp, and and I guess it was extra pulpy.

So I had to strain it, and by the time I finished straining the pulp, I had maybe a glass of juice. Ew. I would just throw it away at that point. You're like, what's the point? Worthless.

So anyway, and no, it's just hard to digest the pulp. I'm like, it's just, it's weird. It's a, it's a stuck in your teeth. Thank you. And then it's in your throat.

You're like, come on, I'm drinking juice here.

So anyway, Ian said that's his communion. That's what they use for communion. Yes, he stole the entire jug of grape juice. My word! He's taking communion in the office.

I I am so impressed. First of all, I didn't know Presbyterians had to do the communion every day. Um, and it's I'm just impressed they're using the high dollar grape juice. Yeah, that can't be. That's got to run the numbers a lot.

I'm wondering what denominations are actually booze it up for communion. I know the Catholics, the Catholics, and the Episcopalians. I think use real wine. Yeah, yeah, and then the Baptists. We well, maybe do the Methodist the ones that still believe in God.

Do they do they still use the do they do grape juice or wine cranberry juice is what I am hearing cran cranberry juice. Yeah, I don't that that can't be biblically accurate. Cranberry juice, cranberry juice. Did they even have cranberry Hawaiian bread? Oh, that was the other one.

Cranberry juice and Hawaiian bread.

So they're not even in the same country anymore. Helen, go to a cult. What is that? That's got that sounds cult. The bread's not supposed to taste good.

No, it's supposed to be stale and like unleavened. Yeah, the Last Supper. You're supposed to suffer, and that's why you have the the tart. But but back in the day when we were so we used to get like grape juice, which was only in the Baptist church. I mean, we're cheap.

That's I hate to say that about my people, but we're a cheap people. We do great Wednesday night church supper, but communion—it's like watered down Kool Aid, purple Kool Aid, and you're going to get the unleavened, like unleavened cracker. Did you did you guys do the packaged the grape juice and the cracker two for one deal?

So we just switched over to that apparently. Yeah, and so it's all like there's there's one cup on top of the other. Yeah, I think you save money doing that, but it is very stale. I don't know how updated those things are. Like they don't have a expiration date.

Honestly, don't think that they do expire. I think you can just you know use them for years. Were you ever nervous in church waiting for the big tray to be passed? Oh yeah, yeah, very intimidating. And you didn't want to be on that.

You know, you didn't want to be next to the old couple. And the guy has the shakes, and you know the the grape juice is like bouncing up and down.

Sounds like a very personal experience that you've had. No, I just i I didn't want to be the guy that would that didn't have one. Like the tray was to me, and I didn't have one, so I had to ask for more. Like, hey, excuse me, this one's empty. That's awkward.

I'm just I'm fascinated by this.

So anyway, Ian is pretty juiced up. I'm just going to tell you for communion, it is almost gone. He brought it in and it was halfway full.

So it's like he's you know they chug it for it. They don't portion control that thing out clearly. Does everybody get their own jug of grape juice? That's what I want to know. But anyway, so yeah, so we switched over, and now it's just.

First of all, you don't want to be the guy late for the crunch, right? No, that's there's always somebody you can hear them. My my pet peeve is when people try to open them up while he's reading the passage before you get to it. Where you eat before the pastor does? Oh, that's that's a sin in itself.

And but the people that are opening it, you can hear it. It's like. And he's trying to say the passage like, please just wait. Everyone's going to get their turn. Yeah, yeah.

It's or what's worse is when you like just throw it back, right? Throw back, and then it's like you don't. You're choking on your communion wafer. It's not even a wafer. It's like a cracker bit.

No, it's yeah. Catholics. I think I like the way the Catholics do it. Yeah, they got the real bread. They got wine.

Yeah, simulating that thing. Tell you what, maybe some olives, some green olives on the side. I'm all over that feast. Let's do the real thing. Let's do it.

Come on, Baptist. My people, I'm serious. We call ours the Lord's Supper, but it's really it's like the snack. It's not even a snack. It's like the Lord's Amuse Bouche, right?

You get a little, just a little sample. I think I think we've crossed the line now. Yeah, I think. Yeah, there is. I thought I heard a rumble of thunder.

All that to say, I'm very proud of Ian taking this all very seriously.

So, very. His faith is very important.

So good for you, Ian. All right, welcome to the Todd Sterns Radio Show. Great to have you with us. This is hour two of the big show. I don't know what's going on in cable news world right now.

I'm just confused.

So Fox News hates Donald Trump and thinks we're going to go down in great defeat. And now you've got CNN saying, "Well, you know what? The polls are actually underestimating Republicans by about two to four points. And if that's the case, CNN says the GOP holds onto the Senate fifty three forty seven, and they could gain more than two hundred and eighteen seats in in in the House." Which is what we've been telling you here on this program. But anyway, there you go nine zero one two six zero five nine two six our telephone number.

That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Charles in Gainesville, Georgia, wants to weigh in on communion and voting. Can't wait to hear this combo. Hey, Charles. Hey, how you doing?

Hey, yeah, you are talking about communion and. When I was a kid, the first time I ever served as an acolyte in the Methodist Church when it was back when they believed with God, I was 11 years old and was serving communion on Easter Sunday, and I passed out and threw bread all over the choir there at the Germantown Methodist Church. No, you did not. Did you really? I did pick out a couple of Easter lilies on my way down.

That's terrible. Yeah.

So yeah, that was that was a funny thing. But I wanted to tell you about what our pastor said this past Sunday. As we used to be Methodist, and we the Methodists lost their minds. We. We ended up moving and becoming members of Free Chapel in Gainesville.

Were Jensen Franklin? Franklin, yeah. He got on a tangent about voting, and he was talking about you know you want to vote for for being free, or you want to vote to be not free and a communist. This is it's voting for. Either sanity or craziness, and he says, "You need these Christians.

You need to get out and vote." And he says, "If you you know go vote for this DSA, this communist stuff, you're just stupid." I love that, and we've got you know, you know, Charles. We've got to hear we we have to have more of that coming from the pulpits of America. We really do. Absolutely, he's not afraid to to tell the congregation, "This is what you need to do. This is your godly duty to do." So he's he's good, Charles.

I hope you drop by on October twenty seventh and and say hello. We're going to be at the Long Street Cafe there in Gainesville from I think what is it five o'clock to seven or something. It's going to be we're going to have a lot of fun out there. I'll try my best. All right, Charles from Gainesville.

Thank you for that great communion story. By the way, I forgot to share this with you, Dylan. We had a congressional candidate on. He's a Democrat. His name is Chaz Molder, and he's running for Congress.

And he has been a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in whatever town. He's a Columbia, Tennessee. And anyway, before I I feel really bad about this, we didn't air this part of the conversation. But I was just doing some small talk, and I knew it was a longtime Methodist. And so I said, "So are so are you a part of the the global Methodist, which is the new kind of like the splinter group that actually believes in Jesus?" I said, "Or are you part of the you know those pagan folks?" And he's he's part of the pagan folks.

Oh. I'm like, whoop! My bad, but it's true. Yeah, they got a lot going on. It's unfortunate.

So, anyway, let's go to Hendersonville, North Carolina. Tom W H K P, a fine radio station in North Carolina. Tom, what's on your mind?

Well, Todd, first of all, I'm a first time caller, but you have a bell to ring. Wow.

Well, hold on. We'll find something to ring. Oh, we got the studio audience. They're excited for you. Yeah, you know, all the big talk is about the fact that the Republican, the conservatives—that is—need to get out and vote.

We really need to because we don't want a socialist regime coming in. And I believe we've got the power to do it if we get out and vote.

Now, what what I have found, and I think a lot of people have. Is that people say?

Well, I don't really know who to vote for. I don't really know them, and so a lot of times they go to the ballot box and it's a crapshoot. You know, they just whatever they feel good about. But there is an organization you may be well aware of them. They're actually a part of the American Family Association called I Voter.

If you heard of that, yes, they're good friends of of this radio program, and AFA does a great job out there. Oh yeah, well, the I voter, you know, it's just like if you've got somebody that you know somebody, whether they're a Democrat or not, if they claim to be a Christian, then you could ask them, say, "Well, why wouldn't you vote based on Christian principles?" And the thing of it is, the the I voter organization they do all the legwork. I mean, there's many hours go into that. That has to do with grading all of the constituents nationwide based on their history of how they have voted on different situations. You know, whether it be abortion or borders or whatever, and based on Christian principle.

And so you go to I voter. And put in your address because that because you know constituents are different in different parts of the country, right? And then it comes up with a list of everybody running in your area, and gives it's a scorecard, my friend. I mean, it is amazing. You know, it's like put up or shut up.

Do you want to vote Christian or don't you? If you believe in Christian principles, vote based on that. And here's the thing. If they see somebody that wins out on on that basis, and they don't like that, they can click on that person, and it goes to a whole page that tells exactly how they came to that conclusion. Love it, love it, Tom.

It's a great resource that that you've just shared with everybody, and we'll post a link to that over on the website as as well. Tom, man, you did a great job as a first time caller.

Well done, sir.

Well. I'm not afraid of speaking on the radio, Todd. I I don't work for WTZQ. We have another radio station in Hendersonville. I work for them, but I won't mention it here since we're on WHKP.

I've got a lot. Hey. All but maybe two new people in there I know very well anyway.

So well I I know they're all listening and they greatly appreciate appreciate what you just said there.

So we love our friends at WHKP. Tom, God bless you. Give us a holler back one of these days. And the I Voter Guide that is a great great resource. All right, we got to take a break here, folks.

Cut number forty-two. Sex is the magnificent, handiwork of God. He made man and male, and then he made female. No in between. I get so sick of sissies.

I don't know what they do. I'm sick of sissies, and half the time they y'all bringing them in somebody's church, banding over somebody's choir, turning. I'm sick of sissies. High, God from on high. We ain't got no men now.

So last night, CNN had an interesting sort of town hall event featuring James Talafrico. And what I I I was quite frankly impressed by what CNN did. They actually had Talifrico being questioned by, for example, a person of faith and a pro-life Catholic. I want to listen to Cut Forty Three, please, and so I can respect anyone like you who is consistently pro-life. And I actually think there's common ground we can find here.

We may come to different moral and ethical conclusions when it comes to the question of should abortion be legal or not. It sounds like you and I do come to a different conclusion. That's okay. We're both Christians, and and the Bible is silent on the issue of abortion. It means you and I both have to look at at different scriptures to try to come to a conclusion.

And I just wanted to add that the Bible is not silent on abortion. There is the Ten Commandments. As fast to not kill, and as Catholics, we take great insult. I guess sometimes when it's thought of that way. Wow!

Want to bring into the conversation our good friend Chad Conley, the president and founder of Faith Wins. FaithWins.org is the website. Chad, what do you what do you make of that? Yeah, I'll tell you. When somebody says I'm a Christian but I hate Christianity, I guess it leads to this kind of nonsense.

Well, the Bible Bible's silent on abortion. Yeah, let's just go back to that Exodus twenty thing on Thou shalt not murder. I'm actually doing CNN tomorrow, Todd, on this capital punishment idea. And these people who wonder is there some contrarian view for people that murder little babies versus somebody who puts to death a heinous murderer, vile murderer? They're crazy.

I'm.

So thankful the lady at CNN actually pushed back, Todd. I'm a little surprised, aren't you? Oh well, that wasn't the only one, Chad. And by the way, don't forget from the Old Testament book of Psalms where God forms the children in the womb. Fearfully and wonderfully made, knit together in your mother's womb.

Yeah, the Bible's not silent on abortion, and let's face it, our lives are given us as gifts from God. We are image bearers of the King. To think that life doesn't matter and is to be discarded like these leftists believe is absolutely absurd. I want to play another clip. This is a little bit longer.

Her name is Sarah Gardner, and she's a Texas voter. This again is from CNN, and here she is confronting Talifrico on his belief that God is non-binary. Cut forty-five, please. I'm here talking to you, Christian to Christian, today about a faith in the Bible, and I believe where we differ is really our interpretation. Of the Bible, for a lot of Christian voters, you've said some concerning things in the past, kind of related to faith and social issues, things such as God is non-binary, questions about how many genders there really are, and your justifications using the Bible for abortion.

And so, I think that's led a lot of Christian voters to question the authenticity of your faith. And I wanted to ask you a very direct question: Do you believe that the Bible is the absolute source of truth? And God's final authoritative word, even when our culture says otherwise. Yes, and I think it's important to remember that even the early church, the the disciples who actually knew Jesus of Nazareth, the early church we often talk about as a singular body, when in reality it was more like early churches, because there was a lot of disagreement. There was a lot of debate.

And that's something that we should be comfortable with. We as Christians, you and I, are both members of the body of Christ. You are my sister in Christ, and it's okay if you and I have disagreements about our interpretations of Scripture, or certainly about political and policy topics. That should be encouraged, not discouraged. And we can do that as we're called to do in Scripture.

Do it with love. Chad, I have to tell you again. I am just thoroughly shocked that CNN would platform people pushing back on what Talafrico is saying here. I think that's my greatest revelation out of this, Todd. Is this is CNN?

You know how much have we mocked them for not having the authentic people who would understand even some of this? Look, Talafrico ought to stay out of the thing. I'm a Christian. Here's what I've been telling pastors. I've talked about this in virtually every state.

Been in 21 states now. We've done right at 90 pastor meetings since mid July. I'll end up landing around 120, 115, something like that. But everybody's talking about. Talarico, and here's what I'm telling pastors: Isn't this wonderful?

He's in our world saying I'm a Christian, but then he says all these things that are decidedly anti-biblical, anti-Christian. And brother, I'm like you. The great thing here is CNN has somebody who actually pushes back and proves that Talarico should have never dove into this water, brother. I'm I'm wondering, Chad, as we move into the final three weeks here of of the race, what are you sensing out there? what What are you hearing?

You know, a couple things. Early on, when I, you know, we do pastor meetings year-round, but they get more intense and more frequent, of course, as you approach the midterms when people are paying attention. Early on, very few ads on our side at all. We let the left define us. We let the left define themselves.

The progressives seem like, you know, just all sitting around the campfire and saying "Kumbaya." We all love each other. Nobody was telling them they're for trans rights and for stealing. Your kids from the family, and for socialism, communism, and Islamists who behead people on beaches, they weren't talking about that. What I've noticed in the last four or five weeks is conservative candidates, Republican candidates, are starting to run aggressive ads, and they're talking about things like there shouldn't be boys and girls sports and girls' bathrooms. We should not trans kids that early if they want to get old and make a too bad decision.

That's different. We shouldn't take kids away from parents. We shouldn't be supporting socialism. Communism, Marxism, Islamism, and Sharia law. I think that's the biggest takeaway.

Todd is it was late, but our side's defining the issues better. And let's face it, President Trump, who is maybe the only person I've ever seen to own a midterm like this, is out there outworking everybody. The guy's eighty; he's a machine. Yeah.

Look, no doubt about it. I mean, in Alaska, then Phoenix, or then in Arizona, and then in Montana, it's just remarkable the the stamina this guy has out there on the campaign trail. You you really think that's going to move the needle? You know, I've been. I just did a Reuters, and this was one of the questions.

I I kind of. If anybody can do it, Trump can, right? He does draw out an unusual voter. Let's face it: the people that have voted for Trump that weren't on the pollsters' list or the mailing list—that it's unique. They're not three out of fours or one out of fours; they're zero out of sixes or whatever.

They just don't vote much.

So that—that is the good thing. The tough thing for us is he's having to go to states that we didn't really want to be in play. That's the thing we got to keep an eye on. I do think that the House. In real jeopardy, I do feel better about the U.S.

Senate, and the reason I feel better is the left is crazy. Honest to goodness, normal people, and they start paying attention. This know that boys shouldn't be competing against girls and going to girls' bathrooms. Normal people, normal people know that socialism is a bad idea. You've probably seen the latest polls: in independents hate socialism and don't like that.

And when Democrats embrace that stuff, that helps us.

So there are things like that that give me a lot of hope. And the more granular. I get in a local area, the better I feel. All right, Chad Conley, joining us, president of Faith Wins. Chad, let's talk about your strategy.

Three weeks. What are you going to be doing? Where are you going to be going?

So in the last two, last three weeks, we're going to hit New Hampshire, Maine, which I believe Maine is going to be a win for Republicans. I actually think New Hampshire could be a flip for the Senate. Of course, they're key congressmen's in both places. We're going to Florida to reinforce there. We're going to Georgia.

Georgia's in trouble in the Senate. I think we're going to Ohio. That's tighter than it should be, but we're going to be in multiple cities in Ohio. We're actually going to Indianapolis. There's a key congressional seat in.

Indiana, that is in play. We're going to Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, and just finished Colorado, Arizona, Nevada.

So in the last three weeks, I think we'll have hit twelve states. And our whole thing is Christians go vote like you never done before. You cannot sit this out.

Well said. All right, Chad, we're going to leave it there, my friend. Be safe out there. Faithwins dot org is the website. Faithwins dot org.

Thanks, Chad. See you, brother. All right. I want you to listen to this black guy. Just voted in Georgia.

He's he videoed this from the front seat of his car after he had voted in Georgia. Cut fifty three. We're 20 days away from midterm elections, but early voting started in Georgia today, and I just casted my vote. As you can see from my voting stickers, and I voted red, which is saying straight down the ballot. I know these Democrats, they gonna lie to you.

They say that MAGA made it hard for Black folks to vote.

Well, let me give you my experience voting in the Jim Crow 2.0 South. I walked up to the voter, said I'm currently out here right now. An official told me make sure I had my ID ready. I walked up to the official with my ID. She asked for my ID.

I gave her my ID. She sat it down. She verified it. I signed a few documents to make sure everything was correct. She made me a little green card that I was supposed to use to go and vote.

After she gave me the green card, I walked up to the to the voting booth. I took the green card, inserted it, and I began to vote for everybody that was MAGA straight down the ballot. It wasn't no ICE officers out here. It wasn't no white supremacists out here. It wasn't nobody out here threatening my life.

It was none difficult about it. It took about ten minutes to walk in there, stand in line, get all my documents, get my license verified, and go cast my vote. All Nonsense that these Democrats out here try to tell y'all—it's a boldface lie. It's a lie. I'm so glad I just voted red straight down the ballot, 'cause y'all not gonna trick me.

I promise y'all. Y'all try to victimize me and say everything ain't so hard for me because of the color of my skin, but I just voted. I just voted for MAGA, and it was so easy. I don't wanna hear y'all talking about no more. I can't wait.

I cannot wait for MAGA to win these midterms so he can continue to support Donald Trump as he execute his plan to make America great again.

Well, there you go. I like this guy, and I think there are a lot more people who feel like him out there. Let's go to the phones nine zero one two six zero five nine two six Charles, North Carolina, W S I C, our great affiliate. There, hi, Charles. What's what's happening?

Well, Todd, I just voted about thirty minutes ago, and I'm optimistic. This was the first day of early voting here in North Carolina. The lines were fairly long, and to my surprise and my delight, I saw a lot of people in line that had conservative voting guys, and in this area here, and Todd, I. I'm cautiously optimistic. I mean, this is going to be close, but it's going to all be about turning out the base and getting and getting the base out.

And I was listening to you talk to Chad there just a few minutes ago. I tell you, Todd, I wish he would take his show here to North Carolina because this Senate seat that we have up for grabs to replace Riano Combs is between Michael Wiley and Roy Cooper. Todd, this really should not even be contested. You know, President Trump won here in twenty sixteen, twenty twenty, twenty twenty four. But I got to tell you, Michael Wattley is running one of the absolute worst campaigns that I've ever seen in my life.

He has not tried to tie Roy Cooper to you know Joe Biden when he was governor to all this spending that caused this all and this unaffordability. He hasn't said anything about men and women sports. He hasn't said anything about childhood, you know, sex mutilization for these trans kids, and he hasn't reminded the voters here in North Carolina how Roy Cooper just robbed the people. Especially Gen Z, or their formative years during during COVID, by shutting down schools, businesses, churches, gyms, everything. It's almost like God.

They don't want to touch it, and I don't know who these political consultants are, but they're a disaster. But this is one Senate seat that we could be winning here, and I just have no idea why Watley's not doing something. But I don't think it's too late. Since today is the start of early voting, but he's going to have to go after Roy Cooper hard because I think I think people are looking for a reason to get out and vote, but they just want to make sure that their vote's not going to be wasted. Yeah, I you know, and and that disappoints me about about Watley, and I.

I'm with you. I don't think they've run a strong campaign at all. The the lack of interviews they've been doing is troubling for me. That's always a red flag. But but again, it's it's really going to be up to the voters and the Republican voters, Charles.

They can say, you know what? Yeah, he ran a lousy campaign, but we've still got to get him elected, and we're going to go and pull the lever for you know for Watley. Yeah, correct, correct. And Todd, I'm I'm just sensing that people recognize voters, Republicans, Independents, and hopefully a good number of Democrats. That you know, while while things aren't perfect right now, and I know there's a lot of consternation with this war in Iran and everything, but the alternative is socialism, is Muslim jihadists, and communism.

And take us back to just two to four short years ago to where we were. I just don't think people want to go back to there. But that's what this is coming down to. I mean, it's it's about you know common sense versus crazy. It's about capitalism versus communism.

And I think enough people are waking up right now, and they're saying, "Wait a second." I don't want to end up poor. I don't want to see my four hundred four hundred one k become a two hundred one k, and I certainly don't want to go back to what we had four years ago and see the border open again with millions more illegal aliens coming into the country that are driving up the prices of everything and driving down the wages of of ordinary Americans.

Well, let me let me give you a glimmer of hope here from Memphis and Shelby County, Tennessee. Where back in 2022, we had around 6,200 people cast early votes. Day one of early voting, 6,200 people. Yesterday, first day of early voting, Charles in Memphis Shelby County, over 11,000 people going to cast ballots. I think this is going to be a big election.

I do too, and Todd, I agree with you a hundred percent too about these suppression polls. And when I was out there today, standing in line, it just kind of confirmed that that there's a big undercurrent of support here for the America First agenda. And I just, I know I've been doing my part. I've made, I've made a couple of Facebook videos and put it out there, and had several thousand views on just people getting out to vote and why. They should vote red.

For their future, and you know, not just theirs, but their children, their grandchildren, yeah. And just to keep this a constitutional republic, because the Democrats are looking to undo everything that our founding fathers.

Well, absolutely, absolutely. Charles, I got a run. I'm super late for a break. Glad to hear the report, folks. If you're out voting, give us a call.

Let us know what things are looking like in your areas. But those are huge numbers coming out of Memphis, where twice is. Many voters than 2022. The last time we had a big, big race gubernatorial race on the ballot. All right, got to take a break here.

Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. We'll be right back. All right, welcome back, everybody. Let's go right to the phones here. I think we can squeeze Tom in here, Houston, Texas, Patriot Talk nine twenty.

Tom, what's going on? Oh my goodness, Tom! I'm going to say the most important part first. Here in Harris County, Texas, Houston, we have a problem, and we need help. All the people in Houston, retired, whatever you are, let's go be poll watchers.

Because there are certain precincts, especially on the north side of Harris County, that are probably not going to be open if we can't get pole washers, and then that means longer lines, and that means less boats. Number two, when does Tim Paxton get his equal time on CNN? Tom, that's a great question, and we're looking into that. And it's a fair question. You're right.

Equal time here, equal access. And if they're going to do it for for Talarico, they've got to do it for Paxton. By the way, that's an FCC regulation right there. Exactly. Rules.

Yeah, Tom, we're going to leave it there, my friend. I wanted to squeeze your call in. Hope to see you Tuesday. At Collectors Firearms, this is going to be a great time. If nothing else, just want to shake your hand and all of our great listers in Houston.

This is going to be our first big event together, and we're really looking forward to it. Again, that's Tuesday at Collectors Firearms, four to seven o'clock. All right, hang tight, everybody. Hour three coming up next. From Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-toting, Bible-clinging, deplorable American.

That's us. That's right. I love this American.

Well, it is hour three of the big show. Great to have you with us today. Wow, we have a lot of news happening around the country, and of course, we are following lots of big races as well. I want to go right away to our Patriot Mobile NewsMaker line and say hello to our good buddy Steve Gill, publisher of TriStar Daily in Nashville. And Steve, one of the big question marks is really.

The governor's race in Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn, believed to be the front runner, but she is facing some pretty ferocious opposition from the Democrat Jerry Green and an upstart first-timer, an independent candidate by the name of Hatley, David Hatley. First of all, good to have you with us, and where do you see all this going? You know, I hate to say that it's still early, but with you know twenty-something days, three weeks to go, there's still a lot of things that can happen. I was just driving and and was pulling over to get some gasoline, and it dropped below four dollars in in my area today for the first time in a long time. If if those numbers continue to come down, that's going to be a breath of fresh air and and maybe put a little wind in the sails for Republicans, not just here in Tennessee but across the country.

That that four dollar mark is a big mental mark. I mean, the difference in three ninety eight and four hundred two is not a big difference. But below four is the kind of thing Republicans need, not only in Tennessee but across the country. I thought it was interesting. There was a reporter from Fox, the the Fox affiliate in Nashville, and he interviewed a guy who was, I guess, standing in line to do early voting, and he told Fox that he supports President Trump, he supports the Republican Party, but he has concerns about Marsha Blackburn and her decision not to debate.

Now the other three top three contenders in the race are getting together for a debate sponsored by the Tennessee Press Association, and yet Marsha Blackburn is adamant she will not debate anyone.

Well, and that's going to take place October 27th. The Tennessee Press Association doing the debate that'll include Lauren Pinkston, independent, Jerry Green, Democrat, and David Hatley, another independent who's actually putting about eight or ten million dollars. A lot of people are saying, "Well, an independent can't win." Well, we've never seen an independent spend you know eight or ten million dollars in the last 45 days of the race before. And when you look out around the country, Republicans who are participating in Debate. Are actually kicking butt against the Democrats.

We're seeing it in New Jersey. We're seeing Ceritha, an Attorney General candidate in New York, who just absolutely destroyed her Democrat opponent in a in a debate. Everywhere Republicans are showing up against these whack job, loony lefties, they're destroying them. And and it kind of is inexplicable to me as why Marsha Blackburn, with thirty years of public service under her belt, doesn't believe she can. Deal with a socialist, as she calls her, you know Jerry Green, or I guess with a capitalist like David Hatley, she ought to be able to stand up and deal with the issues easily.

With as long as she's been in public policy, Jerry Green's been an assistant DA. She would probably be an effective debater, but she comes from the far left, and Marcia ought to be able to destroy her the same way that we're seeing play out in other states. And David Hatley is not a professional politician; he's not been involved. In debates before, so she should be able to wipe the floor in a debate if she would show up. You know, I I am wondering about the the impact that Hatley is having.

Are you hearing anything about his internal polling? And is it possible that he could steal enough votes away from Blackburn to give Jerry Green the governorship? It's possible again. That's where the math starts to math kind of interestingly. From what I understand, his internal polls is showing him as of a week ago at about twenty or twenty one points.

Marcia, at her high water mark, was about forty three points, and she is continuing to move down as as his travels and attack ads are continuing to have some effect. Jerry Green seems to have stalled somewhere in the mid to low thirties.

So unless Jerry Green can move her numbers up at the same time. Marshes are coming down and Hatleys are coming up. You know, it could be a very close race in the 30s. At this point, it is still Marsha Blackburn's race to lose. She has the name ID.

She has the resources. She has a Republican base that seems to be lockstep behind, for the most part. I'm going to vote for Republican no matter what. But it is interesting to me, Todd, that we always celebrate, and we're doing it all over the country right now. When Democrats will break with their party and put policy and principle ahead of party, we celebrate them.

We're seeing it with Al Saeed in Michigan and and and Rogers. But when Tennessee Republicans say, "I'm going to put my policies and my principles ahead of party," you know they're being threatened, intimidated, and bullied.

So it ought to cut both ways. If we're going to celebrate Democrats crossing party lines when it helps us, we ought not to be so mean to Republicans who put their principles ahead as well. I will say this: I think Tennessee, being a very red state, I think it's also a great example of what's happening nationwide within the Republican Party, where. Especially grassroots conservatives are being maligned. They're being shoved aside.

They're being attacked. It just seems to me, if the folks in charge of the Republican Party in Tennessee were that aggressive against the Democrats, then we would not be even having these conversations right now.

Well, and as you know, Todd, in Shelby County, where you are, in Sumner County, in Williamson County, in Wilson County, in counties across the state of Tennessee, there are stark divides in the Republican Party between the more conservative and more moderate Republican establishment Republicans. It is a divide in virtually every county across the state. And bullying, threatening, trying to intimidate—that's not the way you're going to bring unity and bring people together. Laura Pinkston held a big press conference earlier today. She is the fourth of the top four contenders.

What is what is she alleging?

Well, she laid out a whistleblower who has previously spoken out, but is now willing to speak directly to the media to lay out as someone in the Marshall Blackburn camp who is pointing out that Ward Baker, her consultant, has threatened, has bullied, has intimidated people to try and force them to toe the line, and as the whistleblower is alleging, to break the law in order to try and and win races, both the primary and the general election. She points out that at a time that you had the the shooting at Covenant School in Nashville, and and some were trying to work with Democrats across the aisle to to find some middle ground on on reducing shootings and violence in schools. When you know the the hurricane hit East Tennessee, and there were some in the Republican Party working with Democrats, both in and out of state, to try and and get the resources to help there. Ward Baker, according to the whistleblower, was attacking and. Meeting anybody in Marsh's camp who dared to talk to Democrats.

This whistleblower is reportedly now willing to talk to reporters. We'll see if they talk to her. We'll see if they give voice to her allegations. And earlier today, Steve, I got an email sent to me alleging, and there are copies of affidavits stating that that Hatley had threatened to kill a woman. This was back in the 1990s.

And a second concerning an incident that occurred in 2006 about another threat of physical violence. Again, it is getting dirty, and you can just imagine where I received this information from. But it it does. I mean, they're taking off the gloves.

Well, and if Marshall Blackburn's campaign is has an insurmountable lead, cannot get defeated, why are they running attack ads so aggressively? And keep in mind, the stuff they're spewing out there are allegations, you know, charges, convictions. That's not what happened.

So again, when you look at what they're spewing out there, I can make allegations against anybody today. And right now, in the current political theme, they'll push it out there. They'll put money behind it. Even if there is no no charges that were actually made, or certainly no conviction that was actually obtained, so yeah, allegations are all they're playing with. Which again tells you the Blackburn team must be pretty panicked.

I am wondering, what do you think about this Hatley guy? Yeah, I'm impressed. I mean, he has a great story. I mean, he had a broken family, graduated from high school, was you know had the opportunity when you may recall when credit card companies would send you a free five thousand dollar you know credit card, and he went out at 18 and bought several tanning beds and started his first business. He's been a serial entrepreneur in at one point.

I think it was 2008. His business with hot tub. And golf carts was solely dependent upon Costco when we hit the recession in 2008. Being dependent on one single client broke his business down. He came back, bought his business back, and is now created a business worth over 200 million dollars with a thousand employees in Upper East Tennessee.

He has resilience. He is a street smart guy, and he's made mistakes. As he'll be the first to tell you, but he's an actual business person, and Either Lauren Pinkston, Marsha Blackburn, nor Jerry Green have ever really signed the front side of a check, and there are a lot of people who think that having a businessman like Donald Trump, having a businessman who's been convicted of felonies like Donald Trump, who's been married a few times like Donald Trump, might be the perfect guy for Tennessee. Interesting. It's it's all very fascinating, Steve, and I can't.

I can't remember a race, at least in Tennessee, that has been this volatile and, quite frankly, this exciting in a long time.

Well, and when we go back to the primary, remember that Marsha Blackburn again was supposed to have a fifty-point insurmountable lead. She ended up winning in that primary with forty-three percent of the vote. Even the polls that she and her team have touted—they're six weeks old. She was at forty-five percent, and she certainly has not increased her numbers since that time.

So her numbers put this race within reach either for a Democrat, particularly if David Hatley pulls off. Or possibly for independent David Hatley, if he can get over that forty percent threshold, I don't know that I see a path there for him. But we've seen stranger things this political season than than we can imagine. I mean, we've got states that are in play for Republican Senate seats that that should be you know beyond our reach. Places like Minnesota, places like New Jersey.

So it's going to be a weird three weeks ahead. No doubt about that.

Well said. And before we let you go, I do have to get you to weigh in on the video that has now gone viral. And Marsha Blackburn was asked about this. It's Marsha Blackburn, an AI-generated video of of the senator and several other lawmakers. I think Haggerty, Brent Taylor, and Cain, who is the mayor.

Oh, and Burchett dancing. And here's here's what Marsha. She was actually asked about this out on the campaign trail because. It has gone viral, and I'm not sure that they were expecting the reaction they got. Cut fifty-one, please.

There is a county commissioner that made the video and put it up. I think Congressman Birchitt reposted it. We reposted it, and it's a it's a frenzy. Everybody got out and vote. No, Marcia, this is no for me.

This is diabolical witchcraft. No, no, it's not diabolical witchcraft. It's Funsy, Steve Gill, Funsy. I'm just glad she didn't put either you or I in the video. We would have broken the hip trying to do those moves that that she depicted Haggerty and Birchett and and Kane and the Prince Taylor doing.

I think this has backlashed on her. Her campaign put this out there. She's trying to point the finger at others at this point, which is unfortunately what we see from politicians who make a mistake. But the bottom line is this is more disastrous than her crushing fortune cookies and. That that got mocked mercilessly, and it's going viral.

But that may not be a good thing. You know, President Trump did one where he's wrestling a tiger. If you're going to do one, that's a little bit better than you know doing a fake you know rap tune with you and other Republican leaders. It seems demeaning to them and their offices. I've got just a minute, but I want to play this.

This is from Mississippi, where Obama, Kamala Harris, they got Pete Buttigieg. They're all down in Mississippi campaigning here. They think they're going to. Be able to pick up a possible Senate seat. This is the this is Scott Collum, who is the Democrat, and he is challenging Cindy Hyde Smith.

and And the reason why is because of what Cindy Hyde Smith said. Let's take a listen to Cut Thirty Three. On the price of beef continuing to go up, you know, you have so many proteins to choose from. Pick another protein. I'd rather pick another senator instead.

Pick another protein. She done lost her damn mind. I'd rather pick another senator. Pick another protein. What the?

Pick another senator instead. All right. What do you think about that? What do you think about that, Ed? That's a pretty good ad, and I like it.

The bottom line is, most people are already picking chicken and pork and other proteins right now because of the high beef prices. And keep in mind, we're at about the lowest level of cattle herds that we've been in a long time, mainly because of the Biden policies, mainly because of drought that reduced the the size of cattle herds. The problem is these days, if you speak truth as a politician, somebody's going to twist your words out of context and make hay out of it. No pun intended, and we will see if that's effective. It's still Mississippi.

It's still red. I think Darlene Graham over in South Carolina has a closer race than expected, but ultimately, I think the red states will move back into the red column. And my prediction is that Republicans narrowly still keep the Senate. I think the House is problematic. Yeah.

Well, I'm I'm thinking we keep both, Steve. I'm I am I am all hope here.

So we'll we'll see how things go. Come. Today, Steve, I appreciate you joining us today. The great Steve Gill, publisher of TriStarDaily dot com, go check out that great website for all sorts of great political news. Got to take a break.

You guys get a lot of emails, so we try to be we try to be really careful about that. All right, want to play some audio? This is from New York City. You have a gathering of musical libtards singing cut number fifty. Oh, Lord!

It's the second verse. I mean, just look how incredibly diverse this group of singers is. Every single one of them is a privileged white liberal. Who are they? You might ask.

They are sing in solidarity.

Well, who is sing in solidarity? They are the official choir of the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America. This right here is the DSA, a bunch of privileged white liberals that are so privileged they can sing about abolishing the New York City police. Department. I mean, imagine living in an area that is so safe that you think that we don't need the police department anymore.

This is real privilege. Yeah, DSA stands for "Don't Sing Again." Wow, terrible, just terrible. Anyway, they're they're singing about abolishing the NYPD and what New York City would look like if that actually happens. Yeah, DSA, don't sing again. Don't please don't.

All right, nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. We're going to the phones. Coming up after the break, we'll be right back. All right, we've been following this story out of Washington State involving these high school athletes and these young girls. And they refused to participate in a race.

Looks like it was a cross country race because a young man was among those who was who was running. And the girls said, "No, we're not going to compete against the we're not going to compete against this boy who literally stood shoulders above the rest of the girls." And this all happening in Washington State. In the Camus School District, the superintendent John Anzioli said that the girls will not be punished. But all of this came to a head when about a dozen runners from the high school girls cross country team literally walked off the starting line when the gun went off in their race against Battleground. Which is a a fellow school there in Washington State, and they were among those protesting this male teammate competing against the females.

And I know the girls are getting a lot of they're getting a lot of kudos in the media as well. They should, but the fact of the matter is, I just hate that these young girls had to go through this. I mean, it's For me, is just really unacceptable.

So anyway, there was a there was a lady on social media, and she decided to weigh in on all this. And I think she has the the most common sense approach to the the problem here. Let's take a listen. Why y'all letting these kids do all this with this transgender stuff? Why y'all allowing them to do it?

And I'm not talking about everybody. I'm talking about one particular story. It's a young man in Washington. His name is Logan or something. You can you can look him up.

He was on the male cross country team. He losing halfway through the season. He decide he's female.

So now he on the female cross country team.

Now he winning. People protesting and girls not running with him. And he whooping ass. He six two six three. These girls four eleven five foot.

These these girls probably want scholarships and things like that. They need these stats and hear his ass come still look like a male and he got his hair pulled up in a ponytail and everybody's just okay. He's a boy. He just transitioned three weeks ago. He just said he was a girl three weeks ago.

So nothing's changed but his long hair and it might have been long then. I don't know. That's just like me saying, you know what? I'm mopping these floors and I'm sweeping. I feel in my heart I'm a CEO, and I feel like I got three master's degrees.

In my heart, I feel it. I only got a high school diploma, but in my heart, so I'm put me a power suit on, and I'm gonna go up to the boardroom and I'm finna sit with y'all. Hell no, they finna kick my ass back down these mops and these brooms and this jumpsuit. Like, come on, y'all! And the parents just a lot.

Yeah, it's true.

So again, I admire the girls and praise their initiative here, but ultimately, where are the grownups? Where are the people with some common sense? Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six is our telephone number. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Now we're going to play some audio from Kansas.

This is Adam Hamilton, the Democrat. Methodist megachurch pastor who is running for senate against Roger Marshall, and Adam Hamilton is really upset because the suburbs around Kansas City are too white, and he said that's a problem. That neighbor; these neighborhoods are just simply too white. Cut number thirty-seven. I was a part of the Overland Park dreaming team, the group that was looking at Overland Park twenty and thirty years from now.

And part of what we recognized in the suburbs in Johnson County is that they're not nearly as diverse as our greater metropolitan area. And and if that's going to continue to be the case, there are large numbers of Gen Zs, our children or grandchildren, who are going to say, "I don't want to live in Johnson County." Because I want to live around people who are like me, I want to live around people who are different from me. I want to live around people who who you know who can encourage and strengthen and challenge me in places.

So my own kids, when they graduated from high school, they didn't want to live in Johnson County. One of them wanted to live in Chicago. The other one wanted to live in New York City. And even when they moved back here, you know, it was like I don't want to live in Johnson County beige. Right?

We've all heard this term before, Johnson County beige. The sameness of everything. We want diversity.

So even the city of Overland Park is recognizing. You know, we've got to do something to be. Attractive to diverse groups of people, or else we don't have a future as a city because people want to live in a place where everything's the same. All right. So basically, he's giving he's giving the thumbs up for this notion that we need to, if you live in a predominantly white community or a predominantly, I would have to presume a predominantly black community, then we've got to diversify those communities.

And I just, folks, I'm telling you, I think it has, I think that has really hurt our nation.

So this is, it's not to be, not to be a controversial question, but, but here we go. Do you believe that communities are better off if they are predominantly one color? For example, Hispanic communities. Do you believe that Hispanic communities would be better off being Hispanic communities or Black communities? You know, I remember when when I was going from elementary school into middle school, junior high school, and there were efforts.

My dad got transferred down to Baton Rouge. Louisiana, and the schools down there were being desegregated, which meant that, for example, in my situation, we actually had to move as a result of this. For me, instead of being able to walk to our neighborhood junior high school, I was going to be busced clear across town to a predominantly black school, and then black students from that school would be sent to the predominantly white school out in the the burbs. Of East Baton Rouge Parish, and parents were just up in arms. But it wasn't just white parents; it was all the parents, because the black communities were saying, "Well, wait a second we want we want our own schools." These are the teachers we go to church with.

These are coaches that coach our little league teams. You know we need our and we want our kids raised and educated. Rather, we want our kids educated by folks we know. And I think the same thing could apply if it's an over overly Asian American neighborhood or Hispanic neighborhood or white neighborhood.

So why are they trying to force something that is and of itself unnatural? Right, I mean, it's you know this was a big thing in the Southern Baptist Convention, my denomination, and they held a big meeting, and they were all everybody was all upset because we weren't diverse enough. What is that supposed to mean? As a matter of fact, there are more blacks in the Southern Baptist Convention than some of the larger all black denominations. But what I found fascinating about that is nobody was complaining that, for example, the A.M.E.

denomination. African Methodist Episcopalian, a predominantly black denomination. Nobody complained that it was mostly black. Nobody complained that the American Baptist was mostly black. Nobody complained that the Church of God in Christ and Prophecy was majority black.

It was only the white denominations that they were going after. Really, unbelievable.

So I'm just wondering, ladies and gentlemen, do you buy into this notion that the man who wants to be the next Democrat senator from Kansas believes that that we need more diversity in our neighborhoods and our communities? How do you feel about that? Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six our telephone number. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine. Two six.

It's it's a crazy thing what they're trying to do, and it's it's social engineering, and I think it's backfiring. I I truly do, I absolutely do.

So I want to play some other audio here. This is coming from. It was just right in front of me, and I'll get to this in just a moment here. But yes, scrolling down, scrolling down. All right, we'll.

I will find it and get to it. I don't know why in the world I can't. It's staring me right in the face. But anyway, there is another situation developing in North Carolina, and at this particular school, you've got a minister who was removed from a school board meeting. Because he was he was reading graphic excerpts from a book that was found in the school library, and again, they're given this poor pastor the what for?

You know, my issue is why are these kinds of books? Why are these kinds of books in the library to begin with? I mean, that's it's a fair question to ask.

So, anyway, we'll get to that story in just a moment. I do want to go to Ocala, Florida, though. Cheryl is listening to us on WOCA. Cheryl, what's on your mind? I just wanted to ask if you notice that he said before they moved back, they moved to Chicago in New York, and then they moved back.

Who moved back? His kids. Remember the man that was just talking. He said his sons. Yes, yes, yes, yes.

Oh, the yes, New York and Chicago, and before they moved back, so they came back home. Yeah.

Look. Again, I just it's it's all forced. And Cheryl, I just feel like when you're forcing integration, you know, Obama was all about this. He wanted to build the lower income housing in in well to do suburbs, and he felt like that was going to make the community stronger. When in fact, it led to lots of problems.

Yes.

Yes.

And we lived through busing. That was not fun or necessary. Probably. Yeah, it's a good point. All right, Cheryl, thank you for the call.

Oh, here I finally found the what I was looking for. This is an education theorist argued, and he argued that grouping kids by ability creates unfair, racially segregated classrooms. This is why they're doing away with a lot of these honors classes. Take a listen to cut forty-eight. An honors English class was eliminated.

A program to support academically gifted students is ending. Many schools are ending gifted and talented classes and have stopped separating kids by ability. The reason? To address quote historical inequity. All students will receive accelerated instruction in one classroom.

This is so misguided. Mike Patrilli researches education. You hear these equity people say, "Oh, we're against." Gifted education. We're against advanced education. At the same time, they're upset that our universities aren't very diverse.

Well, guess what? They're a big part of the problem. They are standing in the way of kids of color and low-income kids from getting exactly what they need in elementary and middle and high school, so they could compete. Morning, boys and girls. Different level classes weren't always controversial.

When I went to school, testing and tracks were pretty standard. Because guess what? If you're going to teach reading, super hard to teach reading to everybody. If there's some kids who don't know their letters and other kids are already reading Harry Potter. But then this education theorist wrote a book that criticized tracking.

Tracking students in school created these racially segregated classrooms within schools. Genie Oakes argued that the kids who get challenged tend to be white and Asian and middle class, and the others don't. This led to a big anti-tracking movement, a big effort. Get rid of the tracks. To get rid of the ability grouping.

To just say that kids should be mixed up all together all the time. And supposedly, teachers using differentiated instruction can address different skill levels. Differentiating instruction, as if that just means that magically you can look out at thirty kids and figure out how to teach them all at the same time. If you separate them, disproportionate numbers of white and Asian kids get that fast track education. But it is not mostly about race.

It really is mostly about class, about structure, family structure, about culture, parenting, about parent. Yeah, about parenting. Unfortunately, a lot of kids growing up in poverty or near poverty show up at school and they're way far behind. Yet many of the Asian kids came from severe poverty. Yeah.

And do well. They do well, regardless of how poor they tend to be. Culture matters. Family matters. These things matter a lot.

Don't have an admissions policy based on a single test. This activist helped persuade New York City to remove its gifted tests. She argued the tests exclude kids because they're poor. Instead of using tests, teachers and others would recommend which kids are fast tracked. Too many places say that the teachers make recommendations on who should be in the fast track, or the parents have to make recommendations.

And there's a lot of evidence that those mechanisms. Are biased. Tests are much less biased. Studies do show testing leads to increases in minorities in gifted programs. But at what age should this start?

For kindergarteners, we should not have a gifted and talented program that is separating them on the basis of that assessment. My mayor wants to get rid of gifted classes before third grade. That seems reasonable. Third grade, it actually is reasonable. But here is the thing: you need to make sure that you have something for.

Kids, including kindergartners, who show up highly advanced. Getting rid of gifted classes hurts kids like these. We're doing a truss bridge because triangles are the strongest shape. The students designed, built, coded this satellite called TJ Reverb by hand. I thought, why not use my creativity to make something that can help the world?

Why not let smart kids excel? It doesn't help any of us if kids are coming to school and sitting bored in class because we're not teaching them anything new. I wanted to interview anti-tracking activists to ask why is equity.

So much more important than letting smart kids like those excel. Not one would agree to an interview. Ideologues don't want to debate the other side.

Somebody's got to tell these ideologues, "I'm sorry, but this is none of your business. You have this wrong. We are trying to see each child individually and understand what they need in order to learn something new today." And that means paying attention to where they're at, where they're heading, and make sure they get the challenge they need. All right. So again, ladies and gentlemen, they are trying to social engineer your children, and just like they're trying to socially engineer our neighborhoods and our communities, and at some point, and and also our churches, and at some point, we have to step back and push back and say, no, this is not working, and it is actually causing more more harm than good.

All right, we've got to take a break here. Nine zero one two six zero five. Nine two six. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, tomorrow, open line Friday, and looking forward to your calls and conversations on tomorrow's show.

Then off to Anaheim Friday immediately after the show, and I'll be. We've got a big event for the good people over at Pacific Justice Institute. That's their annual gala in Anaheim, California.

So busy weekend. And then, of course, Tuesday we are off to Houston for our big event there at Collectors Firearms. Going to be a lot of fun. Can't wait to meet. I love getting out and meeting you guys.

By the way, Joe from Gainesville, Georgia, listening to us on WDN, wrote an email to me, Todd. He says, "I think the problem goes well beyond Fox News. I put commentators like Eric Erickson in the same category. They've made a living carrying the Republican." Brand, but the economic priorities they defend often seem closer to large global commercial interests than to the Americans who depend on domestic production for their livelihoods. They seem to treat the U.S.

Chamber of Commerce as sacrosanct, putting international trade and commerce ahead of Americans' living conditions. That's a good point. They emphasize cheap goods, global trade, business efficiency. My concern is what is happening to American skills, productive capacity, opportunities to earn enough to afford life. Cheap imports do little for someone whose livelihood has disappeared.

Joe goes on to say, when we question that arrangement, they too often dismiss us as people who don't understand economics. We understand the trade-off. We disagree about whose interest should come first and what we should be trying to restore. I mean, Joe, it's a fine email that you've crafted here, and and a great point to be made. Which again is why I am an America First talk radio host.

Really, always have been. I mean, there's a new word for it: America First. But I've always been one to put the interest of Americans first, and I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that I came up and grew up as the son of a blue collar worker, and I saw from day one how how big business and the unions really hosed the American working.

So anyway, Joe, don't you worry about us. We're going to keep towing the the line here, my friend. We've got to scoot out. It's been a great day again tomorrow. Open Line Friday, ToddStearns dot com.

Go check out our stories and, folks, be sure to get a copy of my new book, The Golden Age: How Trump Saved America. We'll see you tomorrow.
