Here's something most investors miss. It's not recklessness that costs people money. It's being late. Big shifts start quietly in policy meetings and regulatory rooms long before they hit the headlines. Right now, the AI buildout is driving massive spending in energy, data, and infrastructure.
There is a way to potentially benefit from that surge without betting on a single tech stock. To get the full breakdown, visit planwithoxford.com. Again, that's planwithoxford.com. Hello. Live.
From the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. It's America's favorite gun-totin, Bible-clanging, deplorable American. That's us! That's right! I love Love is American.
Touch starts. And hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Sterns Radio Show. Great to have you with us today. On what is a very busy Monday.
It was a really crazy weekend. I know a lot of folks are trying to get to spring break, wherever you might be. around the nation. Uh wow, this uh situation at Houston, the airport in Houston, what is it? Houston, is that Lobby Airport there in Houston?
Where people were literally backed up into the garage of the airport trying to get to their airplanes. And it was even worse in places like New Orleans and Atlanta. And a lot of people forgot as they were packing up and heading. I don't know where people go for where do people go for spring break? I mean, it used to be Panama City.
I don't know if people still go down there. That's where we used to go back in the day. Or Myrtle Beach was a very popular place. But anyway, wherever people are going, they're not able to get there, or it's taking them several additional days to get there. And the reason why is people forgot that the Democrats shut down a good chunk of the Department of Homeland Security, and it's been shut down.
And the Democrats initially said, Well, Trump's got to fire Christine Ohm, and then we'll reopen, we'll reopen DHS.
So Trump gave Christine Ohm the heave-ho. And yeah, they're still keeping it shut down. I mean, they really want all you people out there to suffer and to feel the pain.
So hopefully. Hopefully we'll be be able to bring you a little bit of humor. And encouragement as you're standing in line there at the airport today in Atlanta or New Orleans or Houston trying to get to where you're going. Jeez, Lord, what a mess. Then the other big story we've been following, and wow, this is.
This is a weird one. Over the weekend, there was. There was a terrorist attack. In New York City, right outside of Gracie Mansion. And what's really interesting about this story is the reporting of the story.
Now, a congressman out of Tennessee by the name of Andy Ogles, and we've had him on the program before. Andy Ogles is now calling For the deportation of every single Maslab That lives in the United States of America. I mean, that's what he says needs to happen. And we'll get to his statement in just a moment. But it is clear to me, and I want to well, let me back up here.
Let me back up and set the stage on what happened outside Gracie Mansion.
Now if you believe the media reports, this was an attack on the Muslim mayor of New York City. By a group of white supremacists or white nationalists. When in fact that was the exact opposite of what happened. As a matter of fact, you've got a bunch of right-wing protesters and they're out there and they're all upset because of the Islamic takeover of New York City. And if you haven't seen the videos coming out of Times Square, It's unreal where you have it looks to be hundreds, if not thousands, of Muslims, and they've got their prayer rugs, and they're literally taking over Times Square to do their prayers.
Now, we've told you, and by the way, this is happening all the time. all over New York City, in very public areas. And we told you, oh, what was it?
Well, let's see here. Dr. Michael Youssef. is uh who joined us a couple of weeks ago. and was telling us that this is not a normal thing that to for a Muslim to conduct their prayers in a large gathering like that in a public area is meant to be an insult and to send a message.
And by the way, what is that message? I'll get to that in just a moment because there's something much bigger going on here.
So anyway, these guys these New Yorkers are all upset about this, so they decided to stage a big protest outside Gracie Mansion, which is where the New York City mayor lives. And as they were marching, you had a group of, I believe, it was up to six, maybe more, don't hold me to that, but at least six Muslims decided to attack. These peaceful protesters, and they were protesting peacefully. They were saying things that you might find offensive, but it doesn't matter because it was a peaceful protest.
So anyway, the the Muslim mob, they begin to attack these peaceful protesters, literally hurling IEDs, improvised explosive devices. at the at the protesters. They were shouting Allah Akbar as they were doing that. And let's get real for just a moment, everybody. If you're on, let's say, a jetliner.
If you're on a bus or a subway, And somebody starts screaming Allah Akbar. What would you do? How long would it take for you to evacuate that bus, that plane, or that train car? Just curious.
Somebody says, Praise the Lord, and everybody smiles.
Someone says, Allah Akbar, it's duck and cover. I mean, that's just the reality of it. I mean, you all know, you may not want to say it, but you know, you think it. We all do.
So, anyway, it turns out New York City Police Department, and they're saying. Yeah, this is... This is terrorism here. This is the NYPD Commissioner. Take a listen.
I can confirm this morning that this is being investigated as an act of ISIS inspired terrorism. I can also provide some additional information building on my remarks from Saturday evening. At that time, we were beginning to conduct preliminary analysis of two devices that were ignited and deployed earlier that day: one in a crosswalk on East End Avenue and East 87th Street, and the other on the west side of East End Avenue between East 86th and East 87th Streets. That testing was performed by the NYPD's bomb squad and FBI special agent bomb technicians in consultation with an FBI chemist.
So there's no doubt in the minds of the NYPD what happened. This was a. This was a Muslim terrorist attack. Inspired by ISIS.
So now you've got the Ugandan mayor, Comrade Zorot, And he holds a press conference, and here's how he describes what happened. Take a listen. This was a vile protest rooted in white supremacy entitled Stop the Islamic Takeover of New York City. I'm the first Muslim mayor of our city. Anti-Muslim bigotry is nothing new to me, nor is it anything new for the one million or so.
Muslim New Yorkers who know this city as our home. While I found this protest appalling, I will not waver in my belief that it should be allowed to happen. Ours is a free society where the right to peaceful protest is sacred. It does not belong only to those we agree with. It belongs to everyone.
I will defend that right every day that I am mayor, even when those protesting say things that I abhor. Let me also be clear about something else. New York City will never tolerate violence, whether from protests or counterprotests. Many of the counter protesters met this display of bigotry peacefully. with a vision of a city that is welcoming to all.
But a few did not. Two men, Amir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi, traveled from Pennsylvania and attempted to bring violence to New York City. They are suspected of coming here to commit an act of terrorism. There is video of these two individuals throwing two devices towards the protest. The police department has determined that these were improvised explosive devices made to injure, maim, or worse.
Thanks to the swift and decisive actions of NYPD officers at the scene, both men were immediately taken into custody and the devices they brought taken off of our streets.
Now that was the statement he released after the fact when he initially refused to mention that this had anything to do with Islam. And why do you think that is?
Well, I'm going to tell you why, ladies and gentlemen, and Congressman Andy Ogles. May have touched on something that we need to have a conversation about. Because right now we are looking at the colonization of America by the Islamists. You may not like that. You may disagree with the assessment, but that's what's happening.
They have been moved here in massive numbers. They are now having many, many, many children And now we are watching mosques popping up all over. The Nation. It's really remarkable, ladies and gentlemen, when you you see what's been going on when you see what's happening.
So Congressman Ogle says, yeah, we've got a We've got to do something about this, and we've got to deport. The Muslims living in America. I don't think that's honestly, I don't think that's possible. We can't even deport the illegal aliens. that are in America.
But Ogles says I've had enough. He says deportable, this is our country. We get to decide who comes in. We get to s to decide who has to leave.
Now, the reality here is this: that Islam is just simply not compatible with the American way of life. At all. And it is it the teachings of Islam run contrary to the teachings of the U. S. Constitution and all of our founding documents.
So the question is, what do you do? Do you allow the Muslims to come in and again build the mosques and. Become the dominant religion in America? And if so, what happens at that point to our founding documents? What happens to the Christians?
What happens to the Jews in America? And this is a conversation that has been needed we've needed to have this conversation for a very, very long time. But it's an uncomfortable situation, and it's an uncomfortable conversation. Because a lot of people feel like, well, we've got freedom of religion here, so we've got to let people practice their religion. But do we have to allow that religion to dictate?
the way you live your life. You see, in Islam there is no freedom of choice.
Well, there is. You either convert or you die.
So we watched this play out across the Middle East. We've seen what happened in, for example, Iran and how all that. How all that turned out. But Iran used to be the Paris of the the Middle East. As did Beirut.
beautiful cities. People used to go and vacation there. It was an exclusive, well to do nation. People were beautiful and educated and cosmopolitan. And then the Islamists took over and well, you know, Now it looks like some sort of a third world hellhole.
I mean, what are you going to say?
So, anyway, just curious here, ladies and gentlemen, do you have concerns about this? Have you noticed, by the way, the uptick in mosques that are being built around the country? You folks in Texas are getting inundated. And I'm just going to say this: there is a very good chance Texas goes blue very quickly as a result of that. All right, our telephone number, 901-260-5926.
Again, that's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stearns show. Hey, everybody, Todd Stearns here, and I've got to tell you about my friends at PhD Weight Loss, my very good friends at PhD Weight Loss. I've had enough. I've said it once, and I'll say it again. The port them. Oh. This is our country.
We get to decide who comes in. and we get to decide who has to leave. And I say deport them all. 90% that have come into this country are from third world countries, most of which are sucking resources from American citizens, burdening our cities. They do not belong here.
All right, that is Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles, who is now calling for the deportation of all Muslims currently living in the United States of America. And again, when you look at what happened over the weekend, there was a flight. Where, what was it from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale? Where Some Muslim guy, a beeper goes off and he starts chanting in Arabic and freaked everybody out. The plane had to make an emergency landing in Atlanta.
We have yet to learn how all of that turned out. And of course, the FBI, and I don't know what's going on over there with Cash Patel. But they have yet to categorize what happened in Austin, Texas a couple of weekends ago as an act of terrorism when this guy wearing a property of Allah t-shirt and the Iranian Muslim flag stormed Buford's, which was a popular bar near the university, killing a lot of people, injuring a lot of people. And they're still not qualifying that as a domestic terrorist group.
So it makes you wonder what exactly is going on over at FBI. Headquarters. I mean, in all honesty. 901-260-5926. Our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926.
By the way, Nick Saban, Is really did a terrific job. You know, they had the big sports roundtable on Friday at the White House trying to fix what's broken right now with college sports. Let's take a listen. Thank you, Mr. President, for the chance and the opportunity to be here to speak with you today.
But I just want everybody to know that I am just a football coach. I spent my life when we had the ball trying to get a first down, when they had the ball trying to get off the field on third down.
So this is an unlikely position for me to be in to speak to such a distinguished group of people. Thank you. But I come here today with a question. What are the guiding principles? for the future of college athletics.
All athletics. I'm talking about football, basketball, Olympic sports, revenue, non-revenue, it doesn't matter. You know, my goal as a coach for my players, for our players, was to help them be more successful in life, that we would create an atmosphere and environment that would help them through personal development, academic support, 668 degrees in 17 years at Alabama. And help them develop a career as a football player. That was our goal, so that they were creating value in life and we were preparing them for.
their future past athletics.
So what happened? You know, in this current system that we have, that became impossible to do. because people instead of making decisions about creating value for their future, they were making decisions about how much money could they make at whichever school they could go to or transfer to.
So I think we have a challenge here today. About the ramifications of this current system, on how it helps players be successful in their future. and how we can impact and create a system that will help and preserve the opportunity for student athletes to be able to have success in their future beyond athletics.
So we need to develop an effective system of revenue sharing, authentic name, image, and likeness, authentic being you have marketing value, which now we have. Collectives, which just create opportunities, which just become pay-for-play. Eligibility issues, where we have guys playing six, seven, and eight years.
So you have 25 and 26-year-old people playing against 18 and 19-year-olds, which is not healthy. Transfer rules. We have over 4,000 people in a portal. Fans don't like it. Support groups don't like it.
It's not really healthy for players in graduation to transfer several times in your career. You really put yourself in a pickle in terms of your ability to graduate. I think we need to come up with a system, and we obviously have to do it with the President's leadership and also with Congress probably, whether it's antitrust legislation or whatever it is, to allow student athletes in all sports, including women's and Olympic sports, to enhance their quality of life. While going to college, but still provide opportunity to advance themselves beyond their athletic career, which is what the philosophy of college athletics and getting a college education has always been about. And how much does anybody talk about getting an education anymore?
Nobody talks about it at all, which is the most important thing any of these student athletes can do in terms of enhancing their future. And he's absolutely right. He's absolutely correct there. And I really do hope they can figure this out. We have a solution, but.
We'll see how it plays out. Folks, if you're looking for a romantic comedy that's actually funny, uplifting, and safe to enjoy with your family, well, this is it. I think the statute of limitations has expired. When you were a kid, did you ever go rolling? Rolling? Rolling. And it's like a.
What does that mean, rolling? Wait. You don't you really don't know what rolling is rolling like on my like stomach and no no it's I mean look the kids back in the day this was how we used to have fun we would um collect money and say there was a teacher that we loved Normally, this was you do it to people that you love, but you go out and you buy massive rolls of toilet paper. And then you go roll their house. Rolling.
Rolling. No one ever said, let's go rolling. And then I would know what that means. Oh, what do they call it? TP, like TP the house.
TP the house. We call it rolling. I've done that, but not for people that I love. This is new. You know, by the way, the rule of thumb here is: if you go rolling, don't buy the heavy.
You don't want the cheap toilet paper because that gets, you know. Yeah, that's harder to clean up. It is harder to clean up.
So, anyway, when we were, when I was a kid, we had potato guns. Are you familiar with the potato gun? Yes, I am.
Okay.
So, we had a guy in our group, our youth group, and he was like an engineering. He was going to major in engineering. He was super smart. And so, he was, he, he crafted a way that instead of shooting potatoes out of the potato gun, it shot rolls of toilet paper. Oh, and it unraveled.
So, you could literally, there was one house, our youth pastor's house, that we literally TP'd by draping entire rolls of toilet paper over the entire from the front to the back. He was probably so confused how that got to where it was. Yeah, it was, it was really a work of art. Um, so it's just something, and especially if you're in a small town, that's kind of what you do, right? Yeah, and and sometimes, this is kind of funny.
We did it with our Sunday school teachers once, and they were determined to find out who did it.
So, it turns out that they were good, the ladies were good friends with the manager. At the we had a piggly wiggly. and went down to the Piggly Wiggly and said, We want to see the surveillance video. That's a really small town. Dang.
You have to go to the Biggly Wiggly. They know you. They know.
So egging is the bad one, right? Oh, yeah, that's offensive. Yeah, egging is like, I hate you, your house is my enemy. Or somebody got hayed once. Haid.
That's where you. That's. Rural. And I It was not pleasant. What is hay?
Like, do you roll the hay bells onto the lawn? No, you roll the hay onto the car, but you have to, there has to be an adhesive. And so, what do you have plenty of in the country that will? Yes, I'm picking up on this. Yeah.
Yeah. Picking up what you're stepping in. Exactly.
So anyway, it's just kids goofing off, you know, having a good time. And you never think about. You never think about when something like that would go wrong, right? Right. Over the weekend, a horrifying story.
Out of Gainesville, Georgia. This is the home of our great affiliate, WDUN.
So, a group of teenagers, these are all, you know, from what we understand, just solid salt of the earth, good kids, church-going kids, and they had a teacher that they really loved. And they thought, you know what, we're going to go and roll his house.
Now The details here are changing rapidly, but here's what we know at this point. The guy's name is Jason Hughes. He's 40 years old. He's the golf coach at North Hall High School. He's also a math teacher.
So the kids show up and they're doing the TPing. I call it rolling. It's easier to say rolling.
So they went rolling. And they were going to roll the guy's house. And apparently the guy knew about it. He knew that there were and he was looking forward to it, you know, because a lot of the times the you know, at least when we were growing up, everybody was in on it. It was just kind of like the thing to do.
By the way, never light the toilet paper. In the fall. Don't light it in the trees. Noted. That can lead to problems.
Thank you for clarifying, though. This is a terrible story, though.
So according to the Hall County Sheriff's Department, I guess it had been raining. It was wet.
So the kids are out there. And of course, then the teacher, Mr. Hughes, comes running out. And when he does, he is He slips and falls and And as the kids are leaving in the pickup truck, they run over The teacher. And they kill him.
Wow. He is. Dead. Um According to the police department, all the kids stayed. They tried to, they called for help.
They did everything they were supposed to do. It wasn't anything at least certainly doesn't appear to be anything nefarious here. It was just a horrible, horrible tragedy. Um According to One of the family members, they believe it was a tragic accident. That occurred when he slipped on the pavement and fell into the roadway as the kids were leaving.
And now these kids are facing like felony charges.
So 18-year-old, the 18-year-old is now facing felony charges, first-degree. Vehicular homicide and reckless driving. He also faces misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass and littering on private property. That would be the rolling aspect of all of this. The others, all 18 years old.
Guys and gals, and they were all charged with misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass littering on private property. And the police say that all of the teenagers stayed to help the teacher and they were arrested at the scene. And this has gone national. This has become a national news story. And a lot of people are saying, yeah, throw the book at these kids, but that's not what the family is saying here.
The family of Mr. Hughes, according to Fox 5 in Atlanta, They don't want the kids to to face any charges here. I guess there are times in life when you just have these horrible, horrible tragedies, and these kids are going to have to live with what they did for the rest of their lives. I'm pretty darn certain they had no intention when they went to go roll the teacher's house that they would end up killing the poor guy. Mr.
Hughes later died at the area hospital. In a written message to media outlets, Ben Palmer, who identified himself as the brother of Hughes's wife. and Hughes's brother in law said the family believe some coverage has mischaracterized the events leading up to the tragedy. mister Palmer says that Hughes had been aware the students were coming and was excited about the prank, waited outside hoping to catch them in the act. Palmer also said the family believes the incident was a tragic accident that occurred, and we shared that.
Palmer also said that Hughes loved the students involved and the family supports dropping charges against the students and does not want their lives permanently affected by the incident.
Well, I have no doubt about that. I they they just all sound like good, decent people here that have been caught up in a terrible tragedy. You folks there in Gainesville, this seems to be the talk of the town. The family releasing a statement here. We are thankful for the outpouring of prayers and support as we grieve the loss of Jason.
We ask that you continue to pray for our family and also for the students involved in the accident along with their families. Please join us in extending grace and mercy to them as Christ has done for us. And yet there are some out there who are saying these kids ought to face they ought to face the ch the penalty or they o there's a price to pay.
So I'm curious, what do you think ought to happen here to these kids? 901-260-5926, our number. That's 901-260-5926. You know, it is interesting, Dylan, when you're a young kid, you don't really think of the consequences. You're doing stupid.
What is it, though? What's the old MTV show, Jackass? Remember that? Oh, yeah, yeah. Where they were doing all these.
these, you know, uh stunts that could get you killed or maimed. Yeah, when you're young you think you're invincible 'cause you don't you're not faced with death at all. Like, unless it's like, you know, your grandparents or some, you know. Crazy incident.
So you don't think about that stuff ever. No, you don't. And here in Memphis, I don't know if we have you seen the people they do, what do they call them? The donuts? In the parking lot, and they're hanging out the windows.
And there have been a couple of times where the kids have just, you know, been ejected from the vehicles. Yeah. And then worse things happen after that. The car is still going. Yeah.
Wow. I'm you know, it's I don't know. I'm with the family on this. It just seems like everybody was in on it. Everybody knew what was going to happen.
Everybody well, they knew there was going to be a rolling incident, and it was just a terrible, terrible tragedy. But we shall see how all of this plays out. But um s wow, what a what a what a thing, what a thing, ladies and gentlemen. North Hall High School. There in Hall County, Georgia.

I want to go back to what's happening over at the airports. It is just insanity. Take a listen to cut number seven, please. This morning, as spring break travel ramps up, chaos at multiple U.S. airports.
Travelers facing hours-long delays during this partial government shutdown. Funding for the Homeland Security Department, which includes the TSA, expired last month. Meaning, TSA officers, for the second time in six months, are being forced to work without pay. prompting more agents to call out sick. That's causing delays of up to three hours in security lines, including here in Houston.
We got here at 10 a.m. My flight was departing at 150, and we're not going to make that here. The guy said to me, heads up, it's a mess down there. And man, he was right. In New Orleans, lines stretched through multiple floors and into the parking garage.
The disruptions come as airlines brace for a 4% increase in spring break travelers compared to last year. That's nearly 3 million passengers expected each day. Wow, it's just insane. And it's already difficult getting through those TSA lines on a normal day. I cannot even begin to imagine.
I was supposed to be in Nashville later this week, and I thought, you know what? I'm just going to take the little puddle jumper. It's, you know, it won't take long at all. And I was checking in, I was just checking flights, and Dylan, they were saying, please allow yourself three to four hours. And I'm thinking, I can drive to Nashville faster.
It's only like a 20-minute flight. you know, from Memphis to uh to Nashville. Yeah, seriously, that's That's a long time to prepare. It's insane. Just insane.
Probably a walk there. Exactly.
And then I always get stuck behind the people that have the baby strollers and they're trying to have 17 items that they want to carry onto the airplane. And the poor TSA guys are like, ma'am, ma'am, you can't do that. Ma'am, you can't do that.
So I saw somebody came with a goldfish. And they didn't want to go. Yeah, but they weren't allowed to carry the goldfish on because of the water.
Well, that makes sense. But maybe if it was a support goldfish, you know. An emotional support. Yeah, emotional support fish. Just take it out of the water.
Our country is doomed. Doomed. 901-260-5926. You know, I guarantee you people are changing plans right now. And I don't blame you.
Now that we've got this proliferation of buckies all over America, by the way, have you noticed how quickly that's kind of like fading away now? Does it still have the pizzazz? I think it does. I think Bucky's is going to be that, you know. That place that never fails you, no matter when you need it.
It'll be like the McDonald's of interstate gas stations. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. And if they keep making more, I mean, it's never going to be a bad thing. Yeah, well, fair enough.
Fair enough.
So, anyway, well, so we'll, so all that to say, I mean, you've got enough buckies out there.
So, if you are going to travel, at least you'll be able to, you know, stop and grab some brisket and you know, enjoy a clean bathroom, which you cannot do on an airplane, by the way. Oh, Southwest Airlines. I knew I forgot to share this with you.
So, Southwest Airlines is making headlines. Apparently, they changed all of their way you can board Southwest. I fly Delta mostly, actually, about 99% of the time.
So, I haven't flown Southwest in probably 20 years. But apparently, you no longer, it used to be what, first come, first serve. Is that the way it used to be? And now it's not.
Now you have like the, and it doesn't matter if the And hear me on this, and this is the complaint. Ev everybody has like an assigned seat.
So it doesn't matter if like half the plane is empty. If all three people on your row had that assigned seat, you've got to sit in that seat. And the flight attendants are somewhat Hitler-esque, and they are not allowing passengers to like spread out. It makes no sense whatsoever. I mean, it's not like Southwest is the it's not the Ritz Carlton of the air.
It's sort of like the Motel Six of the Air.
So I'm not sure why they're getting all high and mighty. No, Dylan, I'm not. No, I'm not attacking Southwest. I'm just saying, comparatively speaking. It's quality of service.
First class. Yeah. I don't think they do. Oh my gosh. I'm just asking.
That's a good question.
So, anyway, here's the issue.
So now.
Southwest is announcing That they're only going to do deluxe cleaning on the premium seats.
So if you're in whatever coaches on the Southwest, You're going to have a filthy seat. They will not be cleaning your seat. Again, this is all coming from Fox News. the Dallas based airline considering bringing in cabin cleaners between flights to clean only the premium extra legroom seat areas of the aircraft. Coach cabins will not receive the same treatment.
That's kind of disgusting. Is that what they call first class? Is that premium? I premium may be their version of first class. And it's just a little bit extra legroom.
That's about it. I don't know. I've never flown it. Don't come at me. But the coach is going to be filthy.
That's the concern. You're going to be sitting in somebody's filth. And I'm sorry, but when you've seen how some of these people dress, I'm not sure if you want to be sitting in a seat that was occupied by a woman's dirty thong.
Sorry for that visual. But I'm just saying. That's nasty. All that to say, if you're going to be flying Southwest, bring your own wet wipes, and I'd hose down that seat before buckling up. All right, gotta take a break here, everybody.
901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starn. Wow.
I'm sorry. There's American All right. Hello, everybody. It is the Tuesday edition. No, it's still Monday.
Hello. Can we just start over again? Let's just rewind the tape. Hello, everybody. It is the Monday edition of the Todd Start Show, hour two.
Yeah. Juzaloo. Dylan, have you ever had one of those days? I was debating whether or not to. I've been a little under the weather over the weekend, and I thought, you know.
I probably should just call in today and just take a take a sick day. And you know how stubborn I am, so I thought, no, I'll just. I don't feel quite like death warmed over, so I'm like, I've cooled off a bit, but I still feel like death. Yeah. You're gonna come into work.
No matter what, pretty much.
So you're here. It was interesting. Years ago, when I was having my heart hit, you know, I had the open heart surgery, and you're out like six weeks. By like week four, I was like wanting to come back in. They're like, no, you can't do that.
I'm a workaholic. They say you're a workaholic. I just enjoy work. And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I mean, some people enjoy, you know, slothing off and.
not doing anything. I no, I whatever whatever you enjoy doing, I just say do. And I'm I enjoy working.
So anyway, all that to say, a little discompobulated today.
So the brain fog. Is that what it is? I think that's what they call it. That is the weather's changing. And of course, we had what the daylight saving time.
We lost this was the one where it's back to normal. Yeah, I was awake for that, by the way. I hate admitting it, but 2 a.m. rolled around, and then it was 3 a.m. And then I was like, Well, I'm going to have to get up in three hours.
So you watched the clock, it was like 1.59.59. Three o'clock. Yes. All right. And I completely forgot that it was happening.
So a lot of people don't want to change back. I don't. I hear you. Yeah, I don't like the old. Yeah, I don't like the other way.
I like this way, the springing forward. Yeah, I like more sunlight when I go home, not when it's, you know, it's pitch black at 5 p.m. here, so that's not ever fun. Gosh, no, that's never fun at all. 901-260-5926, our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926.
There was an interesting story we didn't get around to talking about on Friday. And Dylan, I'm curious. You went to the University of Memphis. Did you guys have like any kind of like PE requirement that you had to take some sort of physical education class to graduate? No, not in college.
Really? Yeah. So when I was in school, when I was in college, we had to do that. We had to take some sort of an elective class that would get us our three hours of credit for whatever sport. I forget what I did.
That's interesting. I would never think that that would be a requirement. I guess just because I never had to do it.
So, going back to the like 1900s, so this was, you know, two centuries ago. This is not the 20th century.
Well, it was like the 1900s and then going into the 20th century. The 1800s, 1900s, and then the 20th century. It's the brain fog.
So anyway, uh many colleges required a swimming you had to take a swimming test.
So if you were in, say for example, and this was across the board, it was especially true in the Ivy League schools, where you had to take a swimming test But across the board, most schools in America at the time, most colleges, to get your degree, you had to prove that they would throw you in a swimming pool and you had to make sure that you survived and you did not drown. And if you survived, then you got your degree.
Now, there was an actual reason for this. And we're going to get to that in just a moment. It turns out, though, that a lot of colleges today are doing away with their. Their swimming test requirement. Most recently, Williams College.
In Massachusetts And the reason why is that they say forcing students To take a swimming test is a form of racism. Williams College Diversity Advisory Research Team conducted a study. Regarding the swim test, and they found that 81% of students that took the college's beginner swim course. were domestic students of color, while only three percent were white kids. According to a professor at the University of Montana, Jeff Wiltsey.
He says in a Chronicle for Higher Education article, the swim tests are clear and obvious past discrimination. He said, quote, clear, and this is coming from Campus Reform, by the way, campus. Kate Anderson, the fine reporter there at Campus Reform. The professor said clear and obvious past discrimination still is a primary, if not the primary, reason why we have these disparate swimming proficiency rates today. According to the Center for Disease Control, minorities under the age of twenty nine were more likely to die via unintentional drowning than their white counterparts.
Asian and black students were the most at risk.
Now Campus Reform reached out to the professor, and he told Campus Reform that the past racial discrimination resulted in a lack of swim lessons and overall access to pools. And that was why he was in support of removing the swim requirement. A number of other schools have already done so Cornell, Dartmouth, Columbia, Hamilton, MIT and Swarthmore.
So it turns out, and we did a little bit of research on this. It turns out that the reason why, there was a reason why many of these schools had swimming requirements.
Now, back in the say the late eighteen eighties and eighteen nineties. Many of these kids were living in areas where they had to forge they had to ford creeks and rivers. They were around large bodies of water, and they realized that a lot of people were drowning. And much like, for example, CPR, where you take a CPR test, so you can help somebody if they if they suffer a medical emergency. They wanted to make sure that American young people would be able to swim if they inadvertently s you know, slipped into a river.
This is also becoming an issue in Maine. Bowden College. According to Bowdoin College, DEI fanatics began complaining that blacks are allegedly less likely to pass swimming tests than their white counterparts. This coming from TheMainWire dot com From all indications, Maine's elite boating college has never required swimming a pool lap to receive a sheepskin. Undoubtedly, if Bowdoin had required someone like, for example, Zoron Mamdami.
Oh, he was a student there, by the way. Um If Bowdoin had required Mam Dommy to swim a lap, he'd have played the racism card even though he isn't black.
Well, there you go.
So, all that to say, good luck to all you children out there across America. And here's hoping that you don't slip and fall into a swimming pool because according to the DEI gods. It is now racist to teach young people how to swim. Unbelievable. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number.
That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. Gold and silver recently soared to record highs, then pulled back.
So are precious metals still a goodbye? many Wall Street experts predict higher prices ahead. Why? Because we still have trillions in national debt, a declining dollar, and inflation that keeps shrinking our savings. Even with corrections along the way, gold remains a historical hedge for wealth protection.
That's why Morgan Stanley's chief investment officer ditched the 60-40 stock and bonds portfolio and recommended up to 20% in precious metals. And there was such a wealth of material. Originally, they wanted like a 50,000-word book, ended up being a 75,000-word book, and had to chop it down from there. It was like 80 or 85,000 words. I did a lot of writing on this. And I wanted to take you guys through.
Through the incredible successes that Donald Trump has enjoyed and the incredible things he has done for our nation, a lot of that gets lost in the noise and the chaos of the media.
So this book Is condenses all of the incredible success stories. And it also, I wanted to provide a pathway forward. What does the America First movement look like after President Trump leaves office? Who is going to be the standard-bearer of that movement? And what responsibility do we all have to play?
Because certainly there are looming warning signs.
Some are already here. We talked in the last hour about the rise of Islam in America, for example. What's happening? The radicalization in our schools is not going away. And this war, and I'm going to get into that in just a little while, but this war with Iran.
Could If no.
Well, it could end up not going the way we thought it was going to go.
So, the question is: what does the future look like? And I take a stab at that in the book. Again, it is called The Golden Age: How Trump Saved America. I would love for you to pre-order a copy right now. And you can do that by going to your favorite bookstore, Amazon, Barnes Noble, Books a Million.
If you have a local bookstore, be sure to do business with those good people as well. All right, 901-260-5926, our number. That's 901-2006. two six zero five nine two six.
So, someone sent me this over the weekend, and I thought, this cannot be true. It just can't be true.
Now, yours truly Todd Starnes. was a Cum Scout back in the day. Until I fell off the scout float, During the South Haven, Mississippi Christmas parade. It was a very unfortunate situation there. And then I decided I didn't want to be in scouting any more.
So, over the years, the Boy Scouts have been. Ditching just about every single one of their founding values. And it got to the point where they even took the word boy out of the name of the organization. And they just called it Scouts.
So, someone sent this to me, and as crazy as things have gotten in the Boy Scouts, where you can be a girl who identifies as a boy, or a girl, or you can be LGB or T and be a scout master. It doesn't matter. All of that stuff, in spite of all of that stuff, I was still shocked. when I found out about a new badge. that Boy Scouts are going to be able to earn.
It's called the Islamophobia Awareness Month badge. To earn the badge, you have to learn about this is for Boy Scouts, okay? Boy Scouts. To learn about the bad or to earn the badge, you have to learn about the five pillars of Islam. You have to visit a mosque.
You have to listen to the call to prayer. you have to learn about Muslim role models.
So ladies and gentlemen, this is They want your kids to embrace Islam. That's what they're wanting you to do. No, Dylan, they don't have to wage jihad. That is not on this list. Maybe for the Eagle Scout.
Maybe that's. Maybe that's what you have to do. That's terrible. Blow something up. Jeez Luke.
Your last mission. Ugh. She's a loop.
So I thought, wow, okay.
So that got me to thinking. I mean, there you have it. It is, and I checked it out on the Boy Scout page, and sure enough, it is, it's there. It is a, it's one of the badges. that you can earn as a Boy Scout.
And I started scrolling. I wanted to see if there were any other badges for any other religions. I mean, I was scrolling through. You can be um you can get an a badge for being a camper or a caver or doing circus skills. If you want to be a clown, I guess.
Man, those clowns scare me. That's a conversation for another day. Oh, a communicator. I could you know, I could get the communicator badge. That would be an easy one for me.
Oh, a DY DIY.
So if you're on HGTV, I guess you can get a badge there.
So they have all these. Badges And it's very interesting because there isn't one for Christianity. Not one at all. As a matter of fact, there is one for something called. world religions World faiths And according to the Boy Scouts, to get that badge, well, you can go and visit a temple or a mosque or a synagogue.
You can study Buddhi Buddhism or Sikhism or Hinduism or Judaism. Oh, they do sneak Christianity in there. But the only religion that is offered an exclusive activity badge in the Boy Scouts is. The Islamic faith. Interesting, ladies and gentlemen.
I know so many people. They have lost millions and millions of of their supporters and their members over the years. It's just Unbelievable. The media will not cover the true story of how the Boy Scouts were destroyed. But let me say this about the Boy Scouts.
They were initially founded. Yeah. And strongly rooted in the Christian faith. Tradition As a matter of fact, the concept of Christian morality. And duty to God was birthed out of the teachings of the Bible.
I mean, these were foundational beliefs of the Boy Scouts. And now, the ideal Boy Scout is one who studies Islam. And here's what's going to happen. I'm gonna make a bold prediction here. I do think the Islamists are going to conquer America.
I mean, they're in the middle of colonizing our nation even as we speak. And the reason why that's going to happen is because we do not have serious people pastoring our churches. We do not have serious people in the halls of Congress. They don't see what's about to happen to this country. And they need to take a long, hard look at what Lebanon used to look like, what Iran used to look like, and look at where they are now.
That's who we're going to be if we do not figure out. How do we slow this down? How do we stop it? Does Congressman Andy Ogles and Randy Fine, by the way, do they have the right idea? When they say, we've got to boot these people out of the country.
Now, again, you are free to come here and practice your religion, but you cannot impose that religion. Upon everybody else. The great thing about Judeo-Christian teachings. our philosophy, our founding documents is you have a choice. In Islam, the only choice is either become an Islamic convert or you die.
I mean, it's those are your choices there.
So, anyway, we'll talk more about this a little bit later. Also, coming up, Minnesota Democrats are now wanting to study the benefits of shoplifting. That's right, ladies and gentlemen. The Democrats say that there is a benefit. To shoplifting.
So we'll tell you all about that as well. Our telephone number, 901-260-5926. Again, that number, 901-260-5926. Geezaloo. We usually keep the lights off in this studio back here, and you know, the natural light likes to come in today. It's not that at all. No, you guys are completely in the dark. I'm sure you can't even see me in here.
Oh, no, I can't. I just see glasses that are like moving in the kind of like you're a ghost. Yeah, very ominous thunders coming from behind us. Yeah, geez. Hey, I want to play this audio.
This is Congressman Chip Roy just moments ago. He was asked about this terrorist attack in New York City over the weekend, and a guy by the name of Jake Lang. You might remember his name. He was one of the activists out there. He.
Attacked police officers during the J6 riots. And so he was in Minnesota. And now he's out there. Oh, what was it? He was running around with a pig.
In Times Square during the during the Islamic prayers. The other day. Cut number 12. People, how concerned should Americans be about the increase in threats, especially given this Democrat DHS shutdown? Not a great time.
Yeah, first of all, I've been able to hear all of this, and it's deeply concerning what's going on in New York City today's turn of events and finding the device there in the automobile not far from the governor's mansion than after what happened yesterday with those two IEDs. Let's be very clear. I mean, Mom Dani won't say it, but these were two Muslims who were shouting, you know, Alo Akbar. And, you know, we know what the motive there is. And so in Austin, Texas, as you mentioned, just a couple of weeks ago, we had that event where we had the loss of life.
We had University of Texas students, a Texas tech university student, others who were killed. And we're dealing with somebody who had a sweatshirt that said property of Allah, had a Quran in the back of his car and was wearing an Iranian flag t-shirt. Again, you don't really have to do a deep level of investigation to look and see what the motives are here. You saw what happened on the airplane where. There was, you know, death to America, death to Donald Trump.
Look, when you've imported 18,000 people that are affiliated with terrorists, as happened under the Biden administration, with illegal aliens coming here or through other programs, when you've allowed almost 5 million people to be imported into the United States since 9-11 from majority Muslim countries, then you're going to have a problem here at home.
So the president's doing a great job. We're taking the fight to obviously what has been an evil regime in Iran that has been destabilizing to the world, a threat to our national security. I'm glad he's doing it. Targeting the conventional weapons, targeting the nuclear weapons. Importantly, standing strong to defend our interests against Iran.
But here we've got at home a larger population of people that are now sympathetic and are literally in New York City protesting in favor of the evil regime in Iran. That's a real problem and we're going to have to address it here at home too. Yeah, it is a real problem. And I don't think we're going to be able to. Who knows, but I don't think that we're going to be able to deport every single Muslim that's in the country.
Let's go to the phone lines: 901-260-5926. Our number, that's 901-260-5926. Danny in Selmer, Tennessee. Danny, what's on your mind today? Good afternoon, sir.
I think one of the basics, y you just basically leave Muslim religion and stuff like that out of it and use the argument Ah, if you want to come to this country and you don't want to assimilate, If you don't believe in our core values, such as freedom of religion and we're a republic, we're not communist, we're not socialist, and so on and so forth. If you don't believe in that stuff and don't want to assimilate to those beliefs, Then don't come here. And if you are here, leave. I mean, it seems like a pretty sensible thing you've suggested there, Danny. And one of the challenges is for years, we have not been asking people to do what you just said we need to be doing.
Well yeah, I mean, look at people that do live here and they break a law. What happens? They go to prison. They don't get ejected out of the country, but they go to prison.
So if you don't believe in our core beliefs and you break the laws and the values, you get in trouble.
So if you're from somewhere else, then you go back where you came from. Or go to prison, whatever. If you don't believe in keeping our borders safe and closed, well, you can leave. You can just not come here and so on and so forth. Just the basic values that the country was built on, basic concepts, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, so on and so forth.
If you don't believe in that, this is not the place for you. Danny, well said. Yep, well said, my friend. Thank you for calling in today. 901-260-5926.
That's 901-260-5926. So look, we just got word in that President Trump is going to be holding a news conference this evening, 5:30 Eastern Time in Miami. And that's going to happen before the President returns to Washington. He's scheduled to be back in D.C. later tonight.
The President will be speaking from Trump National Doral Golf Club. President, I'm just reading the message here for you. No doubt, he's going to get a lot of questions about. about Iran. And The situation there is getting a little interesting.
So, um I I want to be careful here with how we frame this conversation. I believe that President Trump should do everything that is humanly possible to destroy Iran. everything that is humanly possible. That has to be done here. We cannot just cut bait.
And there are some rumblings that we may just do that. We may just say, you know what, mission accomplished and we're leaving.
Well, we mission was not accomplished because the sun. Who is now dead is now in charge.
So you've got Ayatollah Jr. Who was out there? And he's going to be just as bad as Daddy was.
So, yesterday there was a big scuttle butt on Fox News. Maria Bartaromo asked Caroline Levitt, the White House press secretary, a question about: well, okay, you know, a lot of parents are getting kind of concerned now. Are we going to be expecting boots on the ground? Are we going to implement the draft? And Levitt gave the right answer.
But the problem is the right answer raised more eyebrows. And the right answer is: well, the President is not going to take anything off the table. The President also is not going to dictate in public in the media. what his plans are for defeating the Iranians. And that's the correct response.
But at the same time, she did not take off the table the idea of boots on the ground. And let me just say, ladies and gentlemen, I think that is a very dangerous path that this country will go down. We're not talking about We're not talking about Kuwait here. We're talking about a massive, massive nation. And if we're going to put American boots on the ground, or if that's even being considered.
We will be looking at significant casualties. There's just no way around it. No way around it. All right. Want to go to the phone lines?
901-260-5926. Say hello to our good friend Murph in Germantown, Tennessee, listening to us on KWAM. Hey, Murph, what's going on? Dr. Storn's always a pleasure.
I have a commentary on your previous discussion about. Islam. In the Quran it is written by Muhammad, blessings and peace be upon his name. that any Muslim true believer has his permission to lie and to deceive their opposition. It is written in the Quran.
I can't remember if it's called presupposition. Or disposition.
So you if you are an is If you are a believer in Islam and you want to integrate into society You can lie. to get your way inside whatever society you want to believe. And then when the call comes from Mecca, to destroy the non-believer You are inside that society, and you will do that without question. One of Yosama bin Laden's Lieutenants or generals or colonels had a statement that I've never forgotten. Sixty minutes of jihad.
is worth Sixty hours of prayer. and how you can apply the Second Amendment to Islam befuddles anyone with an IQ above ten. Because Islam is a theocracy, it is not a religion. And it is a false teaching because it believes in something It has never taken place. There is no proof whatsoever that it that Mohammed was visited by an angel or that he wrote ever wrote down or any of his So-called Visions.
And If he didn't write it down in the Quran, And he said, well, let's rethink this. The Hadid. made up any suggestions that he may have forgotten, i. e., multiple wives, beating your wife Divorcing your wife by simply saying I divorced her.
So anyone that believes or follows Islam And this country needs to be watched constantly. And if you don't believe that, I suggest you look at Dearborn, Michigan. and parts of Minneapolis, Saint Paul. You know, it's interesting, Murph, and I'm going to butcher the name here. My apologies.
I do not speak Arabic, but it it there's actually a word for what you just described, Takya, I believe is the hopefully the pronunciation of it. But it is a concept that actually allows a Muslim to conceal their faith or religious identity to protect them from danger, and that would allow them to lie or deceive. And when you, you know, I you know when I watch Zoran Mamdami in New York City, That's the takeaway. Every time I hear that guy speak, because then he turns around, he wants to be this embracer of diversity and equity and inclusion. And then he turns around and he goes and he speaks in these mosques that are openly calling for the destruction of America.
It's not adding up here. It's not just the destruction of America, Dr. Starnes. It's the destruction of non-believers. Yes.
You will cut off their right hand, you will cut off their left foot. And if that doesn't work, that you cut off their head, period. No questions asked. We are yeah, we're considered to be what the infidels. In their eyes.
And You can quote. If anyone has any doubts Management would suggest you consult Winston Churchill. John Adams and John Quincy Adams on their views of Islam or the Muslim man as they used to call him. When we were fighting the Barbary pirates, Who were taking our soldiers, or not our soldiers. Our sailors.
off of American ships Yeah, I mean throwing them in prison.
So I don't know why people doubt. And Murph, you're the history teacher here. You know this, but a lot of people use that to say, oh, well, Jefferson was embracing Islam. He had his own copy of the Quran. No, he had a copy of the Quran, no doubt about that, but it was to study the enemy.
He wanted to see how these people thought. Exactly, exactly. And it took me about a year to read it because. It was the most bizarre book I have ever read, other than the Book of Mormons. And that's way out there, buddy boy.
That's way out there.
So, anyway, food for thought. It is indeed. Murph, thank you. Thank you for the call and the commentary. Our good friend Murph from Germantown, retired high school history teacher, ladies and gentlemen, and a great American patriot as well.
Let's go to Iowa. Jerry is on the line. Jerry, what's going on? I wonder if this is coincidental. I think Murph is right on about Taqiyyah, the Muslim holy duty to lie to infidels like us, especially me.
And I just I so I I hear on the news that two guys, eighteen and nineteen, went over to Turkey Got radicalized, decided to be to follow ISIS.
So they show up at my Dami's mansion. And they threw a couple of bombs, poor excuse for bombs, I think I could have done better. Not that I would. And it doesn't quite work.
So, what does Mom Domi do? He gets on the news. And he says White Christian nationalists tried to kill him.
Now, how confusing is that? Two ISIS guys throw some dud bombs at him. And then he blames it on white Christian nationalists.
Now if that I mean, how do you even deal with that? I mean, if that's not Takia, I don't know what is. Can you please explain this to me? No, it's a great point. And for example, a couple of weeks ago, you may remember the story where New York City police officers were brutally beaten, pelted with chunks of ice and snowballs.
Some of them were injured, and the mayor completely dismissed the entire incident, saying, oh, it was just a snowball fight.
Well, it wasn't just a snowball fight. You had injured officers, and yet the mayor is just twisting, and he knows he can get away with it because he's got the media on his side. But in this case, it was so bad, Jerry.
Now the FBI is involved, Homeland Security.
So, you know, this is a much bigger deal now that the mayor can't just. shove under, you know, a rock.
Well, the main reason why this works is because the average person and Christians especially, I love you know I'm a Christian here, that we don't study enough or actually get off our pews To stand up a little bit. By the way, we've got some lovely Jews here in Iowa. Our Jews are the best. And we are working together to try to help the average person in society not be such an ignoramus that they would believe the mainstream media because there's something much bigger going on here. Takia is a big part of it.
And if you're just ignorant, I'm not trying to be rude here, but if you're ignorant, you really might buy into some of this stuff.
So, thank you for explaining that, Brother Todd.
Well, no, Jerry, thank you for the call. And this is a serious situation. I think education is a big part of it. And I think that churches and Christian churches should. At least take time during the year to educate the congregation about the dangers that are out there.
And the reality is, and by the way, I was just on myfaithassistant.com. That's our partner with Michael Youssef. And asking the question, is Islam a theocracy? And they not only lay it all out, and they say it is, then they provide you with great biblical references to back up To back up their response.
So, Dr. Youssef writing and my faith assistant. uh dot com, Islam, particularly in many traditional and political streams, teaches a theocratic vision in which religious law, called sharia, and state authority are fused.
So there you go. That's what we're dealing with here. Got to take a break here, folks. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, let's try to work Bob in from Georgia, WDUN.
Hi, Bob. What's on your mind today? Thank you, sir. It's my honor to speak with you. The Muslims, when they come to this country, swear.
to uphold the U. S. Constitution and the laws.
Now let's see Muslim by his own religious faith. have to deny the Constitution.
So they're lying. And in line I believe that they deny the Constitution. that the United States has every authority To Reject them. and reject the citizenship. Their citizenship needs to be drawn.
Yeah. They have denied by their own statements Mm-hmm. Citizenship. Yeah. Bob, I'm with you.
Yeah, I'm with you. If they cannot do that, they got to go. All right, and we got to go for a break here. Bob, thank you. 901-260-5926.
Hour three of the Todd Stern Show coming up next. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. Spray. That I love. This American Todd start.
Breaking news now on the Todd Starnes show. And hello, everybody. Welcome to hour three of the big show. I am your host, Todd Stearns, and we do have some breaking news to share with you. This coming out of New York City, where we can tell you federal charges are now being levied against the Muslims who wanted to wage jihad over the weekend right outside of Gracie Mansion.
So the press conference getting underway, but the NYPD and the feds are announcing charges following this IED attack. We can tell you there is now body cam video footage. Of one of the Muslims saying that he pledged allegiance to ISIS. That they wanted the attack. On conservatives over the weekend to be worse than the Boston Marathon bombings.
Now, all of this unfolded on Saturday and Sunday when these Muslims threw IEDs into a crowd. Fortunately, the IEDs did not explode. Otherwise, we would be talking about a very, very different story here because we understand the jars, the IEDs were glass jars filled with all sorts of nails, lug nuts, and things of that nature.
So a very, very dangerous situation. Then on Sunday, they discovered even more explosive devices that were located in vehicles in that area.
So these guys were wanting to cause all sorts of mayhem.
Meanwhile, the Ugandan Muslim mayor of New York City, Zoram M. Dhammi, completely playing all of this down. All of it. And turning a blind eye to the fact that you've got. You've got terrorists now prowling about New York City trying to blow up.
good and decent people. is unacceptable.
So, anyway, we're going to be keeping track of this. Very, very dangerous situation in New York City. And it is quite frankly shocking. By the way, these were teenagers, and they lived. They lived in a multi-million dollar home.
The FBI raiding that home. It's really shocking. I think mom and dad came from Turkey. We're going to be going through the indictment. The complaint just dropped, was just unsealed moments ago.
But they told officers. Amir Balat, 18 years old. told officers that they wanted to Have a death count that exceeded The death count at the Boston Marathon, where again you had two Muslims. Why are we allowing these people into our country, ladies and gentlemen? Every single one of them needs to go.
If you cannot pledge allegiance to America, if you cannot assimilate to our way of life, you have to go. It really is that simple. 901-260-5926. Our telephone number, that's 901-296. two six zero five nine two six We have some other breaking news to share with you out of California, and this is going to get very interesting.
Congressman Kevin Kiley, who was just on my Newsmax show a couple of nights ago, has just announced that he is leaving the Republican Party and will now be an independent, and it is effective immediately.
Now, we understand that Kylie is still going to caucus with the Republicans, but he is going to be running for office. In the fall, as an independent.
So, why is this a big deal?
Well, it's a big deal because theoretically we lose one more Republican member of Congress. But the broader story, and we talked about this on the Newsmax show a couple of nights ago. The broader story is that Kiley's district was literally being chopped up into six other districts. This is all part of Gavin Newsom's plan to eradicate the Republican Congressional Caucus. And Kevin Kiley was one of those Republicans.
By the way, Congressman Darrell Issa from California announcing he will not be running for reelection because, again, his district, his congressional district was completely obliterated by the redistricting efforts.
Now Kylie says really not much has changed, but Kylie is running for reelection. And so he feels like he's got a better chance at running and winning as an Independent than he does as a Democrat. We'll keep you updated on that. That is going to be interesting. And I will tell you this, ladies and gentlemen.
When you take a look at the field for the midterm elections with the numbers of Republicans that are retiring. This is This is going to be a tough slog. And I will say this: a lot of good America first candidates are so angry right now over the lack of movement in the U.S. Senate. When it comes to The Save America Act.
There have been a lot of political shenanigans over the past, I don't know, 72 hours. Last week, of course, we had the election in Texas. And Ken Paxton and John Cornyn will be going at it in May. President Trump says he's going to make an endorsement. And what he does, he wants the person who does not get his endorsement, he wants that person to step aside.
The question is: Who does Donald Trump select? And I'm telling you right now, there is.
So much hatred. Within the Republican Party. At John Cornyn. Right now. And my concern is this, if President Trump endorses John Cornyn instead of Ken Paxton, I think you're going to have a lot of America first voters stay home.
in the midterms. I may be wrong on that. I don't think I am. I think there is that much hatred and that much outrage over the way John Cornyn has not only screwed over conservative voters, but John Cornyn has screwed over Donald J. Trump.
Keep that in mind. And now they're playing games. And Jon Thune is saying, well, look, if you pick Thune, then we're going to get the Save Act through. You know what? Again, I've had it with all of them.
I've had it with every single Republican senator up on Capitol Hill right now because not a one of them will condemn their leadership. Where have, and by the way, just think about this. When was the last time you saw all of these people, the Ted Cruises and all of these guys, up there openly condemning? Jon Thune, their majority leader. And you need to be calling your senators.
And especially if you live in a place like Mississippi, for example, and say, what the heck is going on here? By the way, Senator Katie Britt from Alabama coming out over the weekend. She's backing John Cornyn, and she's also against the Save America Act. How is that possible? Folks, I'm just telling you.
There is an effort afoot to take out the the President's agenda. They know they can't touch the president. but they can damage his agenda, and that's what they're doing. I mean it is clear as day to me. The President is a good and decent man, but he will have his limits.
And there's a very good chance that we can see the president. on the war path with his own party.
Now The Democrats are in disarray. Complete disarray. As a matter of fact, in Texas You guys, whoever wins the Republican nomination, I think is going to be the next senator. Because you've got James Tallarico. That guy's creeping me out.
He sort of looks like, oh, remember the old Mad magazine? He kind of resembles Alfred E. Newman, right? With the gap tooth and the weird hairdo?
Something's not right about that guy. And here's. He was asked on a podcast: let me ask you this, Dylan, let me ask you something. Aside from your wife, aside from your family, what is it that you love? I love baseball.
Yeah. Yeah. And I love barbecue. Yeah. I do.
Yeah. That's a good combo, actually. It's a great combo. It's a great combo. Oh, by the way, did you see Banana Ball?
We'll get to Banana Ball later, but did you see Banana Ball? Of course, yeah. He came to Memphis. Yes. It was sold out crowds.
Not surprised. Anyway, but again, it's so, folks, again, the question that Mr. Tallarico was asked. Aside from your family, you know, what do you love? And you heard Dylan, I mean, Dylan had no idea I was going to ask that question.
No idea. Hello's baseball. I'm me, I'm a barbecue guy.
So here's what um Here's what Tallarico is passionate about: something that you love, that's not family or friends. Um I love that. I'm just saying this because it's on my mind. trans children who showed up yesterday at the state capitol. to advocate for their humanity.
They shouldn't have to, but it was an inspiration to watch. Mm. A Preacher Who Says He Loves Trans Children. I just love them. They're precious to me.
You know, if I were the FBI, I'd be doing a browser search right about now. Let's pull up that browser history, sir. Let's take a look. Come on in, preacher. Is that not weird?
Right. Who thinks like, seriously, who thinks like that? Still you're shaking your head. That is so weird. Right, isn't that weird?
I think about the trans children. Please. And there one cease. Is that going to fly in Texas? I don't think that flies, even in Austin.
I think even in Austin, that's their whole thing is being weird down in Austin. I mean, they embrace it. I think it's their city logo. We're like, weird. Uh even the folks on officials are like, dude.
Dude. That something's not right with that guy. I'm just telling you. All right, we got to take, you know, before we take a ring, let's go to the phones: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.
Oh, can we play this? This is Tallarico talking about the best Christians in Texas are actually Muslims. Take a listen. I have met so many Hindus. Buddhist Sikh Jews, Muslims, atheists, agnostics, who are more Christ-like?
than some of the Christians I serve with in the Texas legislature. It is about how you treat other people. Matthew 25, people who have read their Bible on a break. You're not thinking of Ken Pax there. He's an attorney general.
Yeah, well, you know, he follows the Ten Commandments rather than the Ten Commandments. But, you know, Matthew 25 tells us exactly how we're going to be judged and how we're going to be saved. By feeding the hungry, By healing the sick, by welcoming the stranger, which is more timely now than it's ever been before. There's nothing in Matthew 25 about reading your Bible. There's nothing about going to church.
There's nothing about being a good Christian. It is all about how you treat other people. And so I've met a lot of people from different faith traditions, people who aren't religious at all. who embody that teaching. Better than some of the really loud Christians that we have in public office.
All right. I'm curious to hear from you, Christians, out there, because he says the way to get to heaven is not to go to church, and it's you got to love people. You gotta and I guess you have to be, I don't know, obsessed with transgender children. Let's go to Kathy in Salem, Oregon, K-Y-K-N, our great affiliate out there. Kathy, what's on your mind today?
Hi, Todd. Um I don't really hear anybody talking about Abigail Spanberger's lieutenant governor was sworn in on a Quran. And not the only one to be sworn in on a Quran. And again, there was a time when, and it's not mandatory that you use a Bible. I think.
Some of our early founding father presidents, one of them I think used the Constitution. Others had other books. But to use the Quran, what does that tell you, Kathy? You know. Yeah.
She's a Muslim and Do you put the Quran above everything? Yes, they do. Godzilla Hashmi is her name. Oh, pardon me. Godzilla.
My apologies. Gaza Gazala. Godzilla, that's the monster. Ghazala Hashmi, the lieutenant governor, and you're right, b first Muslim to hold office in Virginia. And she also made history by using a Quran for her oath of office ceremony.
Yeah. I just don't hear people talking about it and I think, uh wins the loss because she did she wasn't Talking about what the Democrats do to children in these mutilization surgeries, which is what her the predecessor Why not? Because even Virginians don't want they want your hands off their kids.
Well, she was a bad candidate, Kathy. I will just tell you, I have had a lot of conversations off-air with folks in the know, and she did not take political advice. She decided to do things her way. And the reality is, you can, you know, and to your point, Glenn Young, he's not some sort of a far-right-wing extremist, but he did embrace that particular issue. And he worked with political experts to figure out how to craft that message so it would resonate with average voters.
And they did, he did, and he ended up winning.
So, you know, you gotta listen. You gotta listen to the expert sometimes. That's all I wanted to say. All right, Kathy. Great call.
Thank you for listening out there in beautiful Salem, Oregon. Got to take a break. 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, I want to bring you up to speed on a lot of developing stories here.
Coming up, you're going to be hearing from a high school teacher in Steubenville High School in Ohio, recorded in his classroom calling Donald Trump a pedophile and saying that. American service members have committed crimes against humanity. That is coming up. We also are following this press briefing that just wrapped up in New York City, where a Where young people, young Muslim men, have been arrested and charged with all sorts of heinous crimes. They wanted whatever happened over the weekend.
They were hoping it was going to be that the. The the body count was going to be higher. Than what happened at the Boston Marathon when you had the Sarnaev brothers, if you remember those guys. the Sarnaev brothers who blew up many, many runners. They're saying it was this is the headline in at Fox News, suspect.
In terror probe planned attack bigger than Boston Marathon bombing. Also, according to the NYPD, and we'll play some of this coming up in the next segment of the show. That the and this is the the quote If I can get to it, here we go. I pledge my allegiance to the Islamic State. Die in your rage.
Infidels. I mean, that's what the guy said in the body cam footage.
So, thank the good Lord that these devices did not work, or we would have been looking at dozens of people. I mean, when you see the rage here, but here's what gets me: why are they filled with rage? These kids lived in a very exclusive neighborhood, they lived in a multi-million-dollar home. Their parents came here from Turkey.
So we don't know how they got their money, but these kids were not living in poverty. These were very, very well off. They came from a very privileged home. And yet they turned around and they said, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter that we're living the American dream.
We're going to blow you up because you people are Christians and Jews. My question here, ladies and gentlemen, how do you deal with that? How do you fight back against that? I mean, they have everything. They have things that most American kids born and raised here do not have access to.
And yet As good as America has treated this family, these kids, and we understand there were two, but I believe maybe six more. We're going to check into the we'll dip back into the press conference to get that information for you. But there were a lot of people that were involved in this. All Muslim teenagers. Just think about that for a moment.
This was happening in New York City. And let me tell you something: it's going to happen again. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.
As alleged, both defendants have admitted that they acted on Saturday because of ISIS. As Kayumi was being placed into an NYPD vehicle following his arrest, a person in the crowd asked why he had done this. As shown on NYPD body worn camera footage referenced in the complaint, Kayumi responded with. ISIS. And at the precinct, after being advised of his Miranda rights and waiving those rights, Kayumi said in recorded post-arrest statements that he had watched ISIS propaganda on his phone and that his actions that day were partly inspired by ISIS.
The complaint also detailed statements made by Amir Balat after his arrest. En route to the NYPD precinct, Balat made spontaneous statements without being questioned by NYPD officers that were captured on body-worn camera footage. He said, This isn't a religion that just stands when people talk about the blessed name of the Prophet. We take action, we take action. As well as, if I didn't do it, someone else will come and do it.
And later, After waiving his rights, he requested paper and wrote a message declaring in part: I pledge my allegiance to the Islamic State. Die in your rage, you kufar.
Now, die in your rage is a commonly known ISIS slogan, and kufar is an Arabic term that refers to non-believers. He also told investigators that he had hoped to carry out an attack even bigger than the Boston Marathon bombing, which he noted resulted in only Three deaths. These statements, as set forth in the complaint, make clear that this was not random violence. This was a planned attack motivated by extremist ideology and inspired by a violent foreign terrorist organization. The complaint alleges not only why the defendants acted, but how.
Preliminary testing has determined that one of the devices contained triacetone triperoxide, or TATP, also commonly referred to as Mother of Satan, a highly volatile explosive that has been used in multiple terrorist attacks over the last decade. As we have previously discussed, the NYPD identified a vehicle yesterday on East End Avenue that was linked to the defendants. Inside that vehicle, investigators recovered handwritten notes referencing TATP explosive and listing chemical ingredients for the type of explosive device used by the defendants on Saturday. All right, there you have it. That's from the NYPD Police Commissioner.
Meanwhile, I'm sure we will be hearing from the mayor, Man Domi. Oh, these are just kids out there. They were shooting fireworks. Not a big deal. Not a big deal.
Andrew Cuomo on WABC Radio yesterday saying this was a terrorist attack, no slap on the wrist. And a lot of people are enraged over the lack of outrage coming from City Hall right now. By the way, this guy, Amir Balat, is 18 years old. His parents lived in a home in Pennsylvania valued at more than $2 million. It's an actual mansion.
We don't know if they own it or if they rent it, but that reporting coming from Fox. This other guy, Ibrahim Kayumi, 19 years old, lived with his parents. Their home, just a little over $600,000.
So again, we're looking at two kids who came from well-to-do homes. That have now been radicalized. And they told police, by the way, they were actually watching ISIS videos. Online. How do we deal with this, ladies and gentlemen?
Do we deport the Muslims? 901-260-5926, our number. That's 901-260-5926. Now, the other story we teased. It's coming out of Ohio, and this is absolute insanity.
You have a school teacher who's going off on President Trump. in the high school, Steubenville High School. And the teachers attacking Trump and attacking our military. Take a listen. The war with Iran over the weekend.
And the first thing the United States government slash military did was bomb a school, an all girls primary school that would be elementary level, killing more than fifty young girls and injuring hundreds more. That's the United States military, ladies and gentlemen, at the behest of Donald Trump. By the way, this would be a good time to remind all of you that 15 United States veterans kill themselves every single day. Why? Let me repeat the last thing I just said.
The first thing the United States military did when bombing Iran was during school hours. bomb a school with elementary age girls there. Killing at least 50. Yeah. Peace President New war friends today.
Or pedophile liar is actually more like it. Right? Right? Cause let me ask you something. If you're named 38,000 times in a book, would you be the secondary or main character of that story?
The main character. That's how many times he's mentioned in the Epstein files, ladies and gentlemen. And as a matter of fact, Epstein himself, in an email in 2019, said that if Donald Trump felt cornered, he would bomb Iran. You can look that up yourself. I'm not sure if I can do it.
If he felt cornered, he would bomb a rod. It's unwise to trap a rat in a corner is what he said. Epstein said that about Donald Trump. Huh. Ha.
Folks, this is what's happening in your classrooms. Your tax dollars are paying for this. And I hate to say this because not all school teachers are like this guy. Most, I would like to believe that most. Are good and decent people who just want to teach these kids and give them the skills they're going to need to be successful in life.
However, a shocking number do not. And they would much rather shove an agenda down the throats of your kids.
So if you're wanting to know why so many people, so many kids in America, hate this country, it's because of teachers like that guy. We're reaching out to the school. To find out what the heck is going on, that guy has no business being around any children at all. He he sounds like he needs a job over at PMS now. All right, let's go to the phones.
North Carolina, Paul is on the line. Hi, Paul. What say you? Mr. Todd, first of all, I'm a I've called a couple of times.
I love your show. I love what you're doing. Thank you so much for everything you do, and your staff is so wonderful. I appreciate it. Thank you.
Um In reference to the Muslims, should they be deported or not? My quick response is yes. Uh there's one exception. If they swear allegiance to the United States, I know when they come to this country and they become naturalized. They do that now.
whether or not they actually believe it or not. I don't know, but based on what happened in this country, The answer is yes, they should go back and let them do that stuff back home. Beer home. In terms of just immigration, I'm a little bit, I love President Trump. I love him dearly.
If he had a fair term to run, I would. I'm just a little bit disappointed that the immigrants I'm not being deployed like He indicated during his campaign during the two years that he was campaigning for the Presidency. It's just disappointing. frustrating and Paul, you say you're disappointed and frustrated. What is it that you want Trump to do that maybe he's not doing?
That I get to tour faster, deport the immigrants, the illegal immigrants faster. And Yeah, I don't know why it felt like a war bonger. But if we're going to go in Iran and take care of business, we need to do it quickly. I remember we told But even Natanyahu back when they got attacked by the uh On October 7th, He Netanyahu discussed it with him and he told The Prime Minister Whatever you do, do it quickly. And this thing where the strength of Hook Moose is being threat by the Iranians that we should put a stop to that right now because the price of oil is starting crazy.
Well, no doubt about it. And no doubt about it. Look, gas prices are going to go up, and then once the conflict is over, they'll pop back down again. That's not a major deal. Here's a concern I have, Paul.
We're not getting. Look, first of all, if you remember, one of the great things is no leaks from the Pentagon, right? And I appreciate the fact that the White House is not using the media to give away our tactics. You know, the downside to that is we're not going to get the full story. We're only going to get the story that the White House or the Pentagon wants us to get.
And every administration is going to put their spin on it.
So we really don't know how well things are going or they're not going. We don't know that. I will say that I think a lot of people are going to see through. If, for example, we decide to cut bait. and just leave it where it is, I think we're everybody's going to understand that that was a political decision.
Look, we've already started the bombings and we've got to finish this. We just have to finish it, Paul. Yeah. I and I agree, and I and I and I agree, and I appreciate that. I I just get, you know, uh When I see my head, the thing that happened in New York.
Yeah, look. Paul, here's the thing: Trump's got to focus on the homeland. And there has to, I mean, we should have already had a press conference. And look, we're going to get one this afternoon. Maybe the president talks about it.
But we've got to deal with this because this is really the second terrorist attack on American soil since we went into Iran when you throw in what happened down in Austin, Texas.
So, you know, I hear you. And again, the president is going to have to start delivering on the immigration numbers. And maybe with new leadership, that'll happen. I don't know because Mark Wayne Mullen is more of a guy. And Tom Tillis gave away the, he spilled the tea on this.
Tom Tillis said that he likes Mark Wayne Mullen because Mullen understands it's not about quantity, it's about quality. In other words, they want the really bad criminal illegals to go. Everybody else, they want to give a pass.
So. I think we're all going to have to wrap our heads around the idea that Trump is not going to be known at the end of the day as the deportation president. Paul, got a run. Thank you for that call. 901-260-5926.
Let's go to Mike in Memphis, Tennessee. Mike, what's on your mind? Hey, greetings, Todd. Real quick, earlier you referenced that people need to make a pledge of allegiance to the United States or to America. And I would advise you to re-look into that because the United States has in many of their documents an agreement that the successors to the United States or assignees receive all of the property and rights that they've acquired.
So anybody pledging allegiance to the United States would in fact, if it goes into receivership to the globalist bankers, be in effect sub subjects of the globalist bankers.
Well, okay, geez.
Okay, look, here's the deal.
Somebody becomes a citizen, they have to take the oath of allegiance. And part of that oath, they have to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to any form. Foreign Prince, state, or sovereignty. All right. So, and if they're not doing that, and clearly these guys did not do that because they pledged their allegiance to ISIS, they got to go.
They got to go. Mike, I got to go, got to run. Thanks for the call. 901-260-5926. This is the Ton Stern Show.
All right, just to give you the lay of the land, and we'll be following all of this on Newsmax this afternoon. A president speaking from the golf club at 4:30 this afternoon, then the president holding a press conference at 5:30 this afternoon. You can expect the president to make a lot of news at this evening press conference. You'll be able to watch all of it on Newsmax. Also, watch the Todd Stern show on Newsmax as well.
All right, we had an opportunity to sit down with Texas State Senator Steve Toth. He did a tremendous job upsetting Dan Crenshaw for the Republican primary, congressional primary. Let's take a listen to that conversation. I'm curious: what would you say led to Dan Crenshaw's downfall here? Dan Crenshaw.
Todd, I can't put it any other way than that. I mean... He was his own worst enemy. He was our greatest asset in this thing. It seemed like every time He opened his mouth, he just created more acrimony and more troubles for himself.
It's really amazing. This is a really gifted guy, he's a really smart man. I can't thank, and I think all Americans feel this way about Dan. We thank him for the service that he gave our nation. as a Navy SEAL.
But once he got to Washington, he just became part of the problem. And this is the problem that we see all, you know, with. People that join, they come all the time. They sound like the second coming of Ronald Reagan or Donald Trump, and as soon as they get there, They just become part of the problem. And um Sadly, Dan is an incredibly gifted man.
But he's just unhappy and angry. And anybody that tries to question him. He just lashes out at them. And, you know, whether it's Tucker Carlson or whoever or whoever, it just Dam becomes their worst enemy. It's just overnight.
I know there's another big race there in Texas that's garnering a lot of national attention. Of course, the Senate race that now we have a runoff between John Cornyn, the incumbent, and Ken Paxton, who is the Attorney General. President Trump says he's going to endorse somebody in the primary, and whoever the person is that does not get the endorsement, the president says that that person should drop out. Do you agree with the president here? This is a tough one for the very simple reason that Ken should stay in this for the very simple reason that he stands the best chance of winning.
You know, there's a reason why the Texas border went from bright blue to bright red, and that was because. Donald Trump is a man of action. And I've said this once, I've said it a hundred times. The problem with Republicans is that when we win elections, we take office. When Democrats win elections, they wield power.
And that's the single greatest thing that people respect about Trump. And it that is what is is that is what is propelling our party to victory. Ken Pax is that kind of man. He's that kind of politician. And you know, unfortunately.
Unfortunately, Cornyn is not that kind of person. He doesn't compel anybody towards greatness, he doesn't inspire anybody. I think we're going to lose with John Cornyn no matter who gets behind him.
Well, on the other side of the aisle, you've got James Tallarico. I don't get this one at all, Steve. This guy actually thinks there are more than two genders. Let's take a listen to this. Modern science obviously recognizes that there are many more than two biological sexes.
In fact, there are six. Yeah, does that guy really represent the average Texan? Not by a long shot. And I have served with James Tellerico since 19. I'm sorry, since 2019.
This guy is the farthest left person that we have ever seen run for office. And he's gone through this amazing metamorphosis. He used to be this quick-witted, nasty, snarky. uh person now all of a sudden he says well i'm going to go through this this um Remix of myself. I'm going to turn myself into a Presbyterian leftist pastor and start talking about God and say that, well, basically, It's biblical.
It's biblical to um To it, it's biblical to kill babies. It's biblical to say that there are, you know, six different genders. It's biblical to say that boys can be in ladies' restrooms. It's bull. It's bull is what it is.
It's biblical if you don't believe the Bible is what it really comes down to. All right. That's part of our interview with Steve Toth. If you'd like to listen to all of it, go to ToddSterns.com. Folks, that's going to wrap it up today.
Again, busy, busy news day ahead of us. Keep it on this radio station for the very latest news and breaking news as well. We'll see you tonight, 5 o'clock Eastern on the TV and tomorrow on the radio at noon o'clock. Everybody, be good and safe, America.
