Here there are beaches, as wide open as your plans. and waterfront towns more charming than you could ever imagine. Ready for the perfect spring getaway? Visit crystalcoastnc.com/slash booking now. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-totin, Bible-clinging, deplorable American.
That's right. It's American. Todd start. All right, I want to, at the outset here, I just want to say I love dogs. I think they're wonderful little creatures.
I'm glad. God made dogs. I I watched Lassie as a child. Lassie, come home. I watched Lassie.
I cried when Ol Yeller died. Is that the one that died? The dog. There was Benji. Anyone remember Benji?
So I love dogs. All right. No, I do not have a dog. And the reason I don't have a dog is I travel a lot and I don't have the time needed to maintain a dog lifestyle.
So, but I love dogs and I think most of you love dogs. I bet many of you have dogs. Dylan, I know that you guys have a dog, I believe. We do have a dog, yes. What's the name of the dog's name?
Its name is Kirky, a little unconventional, but. I'm sorry, what? Kirky. Kirky. K-I-R-K.
Oh that's uh a little quirky. It's quirky, quirky, quirky. Quirky, quirky. All right, it's nothing like Carl or, you know, Jim. No, I think that's weird.
Naming dogs after humans. Humans.
So apparently in New York City, Fayed is okay, but Fido is not.
So, if you heard this crazy story, apparently it's on the table here, I guess, whether or not they're going to ban dogs from New York City. See, that's how you know if someone's not a good person. If you don't like dogs, that's just a telltale sign.
So, the Muslims believe that dogs are impure, and you're not supposed to be anywhere around the dogs, and you can't let a dog lick you. It's like really bad in their religion. And I I think Look, when you tie that in with the fact you can't eat ribs, I got big problems with that religion. I really do. That, well, yeah, and the other thing, too.
You know, we I don't want to be blown up, but what I'm saying is that, yeah, I've got problems. With the Islamist. I really do. So here's what happened, and we'll set the stage for you because I'm just wondering, ladies and gentlemen. I'm just wondering, where do you draw the line?
On the acceptance of Islam in America. We know that it's not compatible. To our way of life. We know that Islam is not compatible to the Constitution, and we've had these conversations before, but I'm just wondering at. At what point do you just draw the line and say, you know what, this is the This is the hill we're going to die on.
And I'm wondering if it's like To stand and to stand in some solidarity with Marmaduke and Snoopy. I'm wondering if that's If that's what we do.
So there is a woman by the name of Nerdine Kiswani, and she is a very close associate to Mayor Zoran Mamdami, the Muslim Ugandan immigrant who is now the mayor of our nation's largest city. She has a law degree. She is Palestinian. She identifies herself as Palestinian. And Muslim.
And she posted something the other day. And let me set the back story because there there is a backstory here. Apparently, because Mayor Mamdami did not remove all the snow, You know, when you've got your little You've got little Quirky. No, Kirky, Kirky. You've got little Kirky, Dylan, and you take it out because Kirky has to go potty, I guess.
How many times on again, I don't have a dog.
So, how many times do you have to walk the dog? Um, you typically want to walk the dog once a day, and then she goes outside uh twice or three times a day. Wait, what? I mean. That's okay.
So your dog uses the bathroom three times a day. I take her out three times a day just to be nice to her. If she has to go more than once, you know how it gets. No, I don't. I don't have a dog.
I'm just kind of shocked. There's like the normal cycle of the pee and poo, and then there's maybe a little bit more if the tummy's upset. Oh, geez. Yeah, that's why you got to watch out what you feed. You can't feed her like barbecue or something, I have to imagine.
You're right. Yes.
So anyway, people in New York City, they're taking their dogs out to do their doggy business. And the problem is there's snow everywhere and ice.
So they're having to poop on the ice. And of course, then there's no place to put the poop because in New York City, people are not aware of this. And I wrote a column about this. Gosh, 20 years ago.
So in New York City, you're required to pick up after your dog.
So people have like the little pooper scoopers or they get the little gloves and then they have to dispose of the of the doggie poo.
Now, if you don't, you get a ticket. I mean, there's a fine involved. And I think it's fascinating. You can walk. I kid you not.
And I wrote a column about this, and it got me in a lot of trouble. But I was just pointing out The facts. And the fact is that you could walk from Midtown Manhattan all the way to the edge of Harlem. And you could walk, and there would not be a single piece of poo anywhere on the sidewalk. You step one foot into Harlem, and it's like the geese have landed.
It is like walking in a minefield, and I never could figure out why. It was a Is it a sign of oppression that you don't pick up after your dog? I don't know. But anyway, I'm so far off the the topic here, but and I want to get back to it.
So that's the reason why this woman was upset, is that people were allowing their pets to poo on the ice. and she wrote these words Finally, New York City is coming to Islam. Dogs definitely have a place in society, just not as indoor pets. Like we've been saying all along, they are unclean.
So she's saying that your dog. Your little Fool fool. That little metrosexual purse dog of yours is unclean. And then she goes on to defend herself. A Muslim in New York City says maybe the city is not the best place for pets.
And it is Days of Death Threats from MAGA and Zionist.
So I'm just curious here. And this is not a stretch. There one day will come a time in New York City where I think there, I mean, if the if the Islamists take full control. Would they go so far as to ban all of you Jews and Gentiles? and gay people from having A a dog.
Or a little precious little metrosexual purse talk. I'm just asking. I Because it certainly looks like that's what they want to do here. And I know now she's saying, oh, this was tongue-in-cheek. There was nothing tonguey or cheeky about this.
There was no ha ha or L O L or one of those weird emojis that all you Gen Zers you No, there wasn't any of that. She stated emphatically, Dogs are clean. And based on the current trajectory of the nation, where by the way, it's like even oh, what was it? The wing place. What is the we'll get to that story where even restaurant chains are now going halal to accommodate the requirements of Sharia.
What's the hot wing? What's the big popular wing joint? Wing stop, potentially? No.
Okay. It's the other one. That's a little wild wings. Thank you. And they're going halal.
And so at what point Do you say, okay, we got problems here? We got problems.
So I'll tell you who stepped up to the plate. His name is Congressman Randy Fine. They call him the Hebrew Hammer because the guy just tells it like it is. And he said, Hey, look, If we got to choose between the Muslims and the dogs, well, I know who I'm going to choose. That's what the congress.
And so now all hell's breaking loose. And they're calling the guy a bigot. They're calling him all sorts of crazy names. Here's what the congressman had to say. Cut 22.
You've taken some recent heat over an ex-post where you responded to a major New York City Muslim leader who suggested that we have to give up our dogs because, quote, NYC is coming to Islam. You responded, quote, if they force us to choose the choice between dogs and Muslims, it's not a difficult one. You've since doubled down on a series of posts. Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one of many who called this, quote, one of the most disgusting statements she'd ever seen. Congressman, I'd like to just give you an opportunity to respond to the Congresswoman there.
Well, I appreciate that. Look, here's my view: it's not enough for Democrats to think anyone who wants to come here illegally should be able to do that. They also think they should be able to get whatever free stuff they want.
Now they're demanding that we change our values and how we live as Americans. My post was in response to a major Muslim leader saying dogs should be forbidden from New York City because to some Muslims, it bothers them.
Well, if they're going to make us choose between our dogs and them going home, the choice is easy. And people should know Democrats like AOC are saying we are going to get rid of your dogs. Americans need to keep that in mind when they go to vote in November. Yeah, it's really just a wild concept to think that people would have to actually give up their pets.
Okay, well, Congressman Randy Fine, thanks for that. All right, so enough of that. Jeez, Lou. The questions. By the way, Congressman Fine is going to be a guest on my Newsmax show tonight, and we'll have an in-depth talk about this.
But look, the Congressman, did you hear anything remotely Islamophobic about what the Congressman said? He's simply pointing out and reiterating what the Muslim leaders are telling us: that dogs are unclean and they don't belong in New York City.
Now, I don't know about you, but if I'm a dog owner and I hear something like that, Um, my ears are perking up, right? It's like, wait a second, what did you just say? By the way, Buffalo Wild Wings. They are now facing boycott calls over a their brand new halal menu. They are now again, this is happening at Buffalo Wild Wing locations in Texas and New York.
The founder of one conservative organization, Amy Meck, is a vocal critic of Islam. She is writing that they are serving halal hand cut wings. She says it is a food jihad victory, a stealth weapon of Islamic supremacist shoving barbaric inhumane rituals into America's red meat heartland.
Well, actually the wings are chicken, man, but um I get the point. She says your wings now fund the very groups plotting your cultural demise. Boycott halal Newsweek says they reviewed Buffalo Wild Wings menus, but were unable to see whether any of the menu options were halal, and they were not able to verify the reports. Buffalo Wild Wings is not Is not commenting.
So I'm just. I'm just curious here. Do you When the time comes, do you Do you ban? Do you ban the dogs? And I say that because right now, you know, no one, I mean, you asked 10 years ago.
Go back just five years ago. No one in New York City would have believed you if you would have said, Oh, yeah, we're going to have the Islamic call to prayer broadcast through the streets of New York City. Nobody would have believed that, and now it's happening.
So I'm just curious, a land. that was conquered, a city that was attacked. by the Islamist on nine eleven, two thousand one, is now being conquered and occupied. By the very Islamist.
So I'm just curious to hear your thoughts on that. And Do you say, you know what, for the sake of not getting blown up, you know, we're We're going to get rid of the dogs. We're gonna stop.
So long, Snoopy. I mean, in all seriousness, what do you do? And by the way, they're coming after Congressman Fine. What did he do except reiterate and point out? what this woman was saying.
Notice who the bad guy is here. The Hebrew Hammer.
So we'll take your calls on that. 901-260-5926. Our number, that's 901-260-5926.

Well, thank you for that. Mark, one of our great listeners in the villages, America's friendliest hometown town in Florida, let's go to the phone lines, 901 260 5926. Should New York City just go ahead and ban Dogs and other animals considered impure by the Islamists.
So they can keep everybody happy. Let's go to Quinn listening to us on Patriot Talk 920 in Texas. Hi, Quinn. What say you? Good morning, Todd, thank you for taking my call.
Here I got the message for the Muslim in New York.
Okay? My doll It's more than they are. cleaner than they are. I have three dogs. That's my last dog named Princess.
Oh, that's a lovely name. Yeah. She a whole lot smarter than those Muslim in New York. If they don't like dogs, they can go back where they belong. They don't welcome us here.
I'm sorry, Quentin. What did you just say what did can you repeat that one more time? I said, if they hate y'all, they hate America, they can go back where they belong. They don't welcome here. Quinn, you're 1,000%.
I'll let you finish your thought here, but you are 1,000% correct. And this goes for anybody around the world. You're not happy with where you're at, and you want to come to our country, and instead of assimilating to our way of life, you want to outlaw our way of life. You know what? Don't let the door hit you with a good Lord splitcha.
Back to where you came from. That's right. And another thing, if they touch my dog, they're over dat my over my dad's body. I want them to hear the message today.
Well, you know, Quinn, the problem there in Texas, you guys are dealing with this. I know your governor is in a state of denial over the rise of Islam in the Lone Star State, but it's a big problem there, and as much of a problem as it is in New York City right now. And folks, you got to pay attention, you got to get involved. And you got to know what's happening in your community. You just have to.
I am and I always on my on my phone on my congressman Tescu, one of them. And and uh bribe Eb and two of 'em. And I constantly on the phone with them because I am very big support to them. I went out. My neighborhood.
I encourage my neighbors. Watch out and pay attention what's going on to Cosby Texas. Mm. Because Cosby Texas is 75%. It will pop again.
And I I tell you, it just it's just sickening. This country is just turned wrong direction because we're so afraid I'm not. I can tell you that's hot. Oh, I know you're not, Quinn. You're one of our great American patriots.
You're family, you came here the legal way. You've made a successful career and life for yourself. You're living the American dream. And you are someone that these illegals, and these migrants from Somalia, should aspire to be like because you are making a success of your life. Quinn, I've got to run.
God bless you. It's shocking that we even have to have this conversation, but. This is where we are in America right now, and there will be Christians out there. There will be Christians, and you mark my words, they're gonna look at this story and their first reaction.
Well, we just have to kill the dogs. We just have to send them on their way to eternity. Don't want it at the end. All right, welcome back to the Todd Sterns Radio Show. Coming up a little bit later in the program, we're going to be talking to Judge Joe Brown. Man, I like that guy. You know what, Judge Joe Brown is. Say what you will about the judge.
He's very outspoken. He was one of the first guys, and this was like years ago. He was one of the first guys to warn us about the GOGs, Dillard. And Dylan, please explain to the audience what a G-O-G stands for. That would mean gals of girth.
Gals of Girth. Copyright Todd Starn's show. The year of our Lord 2026. Yes, Gals of Girth, he was warning America and the world. About these insane, unhinged GOGs with their magenta hair.
The rainbow flags. The Subarose. You know the type. Anyway, uh the judge was Crucified over his comments about that, but now. The judge The judge has been proven right.
So, anyway, we're going to be talking to Judge Joe Brown. Also, John Bachman, host of the John Bachman Show on Newsmax, has a brand new book out. today.
So we're looking forward to that. All right. Um I want to play some audio here. And I just, I have a question for you.
Well, you know what? Let's play this audio. This is from CNN. Kevin O'Leary. I love that guy.
And he was he was having a um He was having a conversation. with Teslin Figaro. And Tesla and Figaro is a Is a woman who Makes she's worth a million dollars. I mean, she's a very wealthy woman. She's an accomplished black woman.
And this is important to the conversation. That's the only reason I'm bringing race in. But her attitude and her demeanor, you know, it's just off the charts. But she's talking about how bad America is. And I want you to listen to COP20.
It's so interesting that you said that because right before we went to break, you asked me what country was I living in? This one that we just went through? You should be in the world. The country that just did what they did.
So for you to sit here and act like you just didn't say, you know, what country are you talking about? What country, you know, puts people in jail wrong? What country enslaves folks, which is pretty much the private prison system? What country does this? You can't possibly be a history buff and also say that as well.
Let me give you how bad it can be. The Romans used to burn to the banks. You can't ever give me how bad it could be. You could never give me how bad it could be. I live it on a daily basis, baby.
I live it on a daily basis, honey. They were bad. I live it on a daily basis. You can never tell me how bad it could be. But I would encourage you to actually be the history buff that you claim that you are and really get some understanding.
It's not about me. I'm not going nowhere. I'm saying right now. I'm quite sure if you're not going to be able to do that. You don't need to give me no reason to claim that.
I'm standing right where you're going to be. I have a very simple question. And this is for all of the minorities that listen to the Tom Stearns radio show. We just heard from Quinn, who came here. With nothing and literally built an incredibly successful business.
One of our great Patriot Talk 920 listeners in Houston. But I have a question for all of you, all the minorities in America. Is what this woman's saying is is that true? That A woman like Teslin Figaro, who is probably, I would say, in her thirties.
So. Over the past 30 years, so we're talking about the 1990s on.
Someone like her says that She has been through hell living in America. Has that been your experience? Because I know people who went through hell in America back in the 1940s and 50s and 60s, the civil rights movement, where people were actually getting lynched, where people were being killed for standing up for things like the right to vote. There was a time when people were going through hell. But I'm just curious: has that been your experience?
Because this woman, Tesla and Figaro. says that It's been bad for her, even though she is a multimillionaire, even though she lives in a very nice neighborhood, even though she has her own company, her own business, that she is an oppressed black woman in America. Yeah. And I'm just wondering, has that been your experience? Because, ladies and gentlemen, let me just say.
We live in the greatest nation on the face of the earth. And by the way, everybody else knows that, which is why they're trying to get into our country.
Now, the problem with the illegals is that they want to come here and they don't want to work. They want to mooch off of you, the hardworking American citizen, because they know that Americans are hard workers. That is our very nature. And we're also a very giving people. We're a compassionate people.
And there are folks coming into this country who just want to take advantage of that. I mean, these are lazy folks, and they just want to take advantage of it. But if it really was as bad as Miss Figaro says, then why are all these people wanting to come to America? They're not trying to break into any other country, right? You don't see all the you don't see millions of people trying to, I don't know, invade Russia Or the UK or anywhere else, right?
It's just America. And why is that? Because we are a unique, God-blessed nation. That is why. You really can live the American dream here.
You really can make something of yourself. You're not going to get a handout. You will get a hand up.
So, for people like Tesla and Figaro to sit there on national TV in high-dollar, very expensive clothing. Accessories galore, and to say that she has been put upon, that she is an oppressed black woman. I just think that really That flies in the face of reality. Because, ladies and gentlemen, when you look at, and by the way, let's just take a look at what happened after the Civil War. I was watching.
Oh, geez aloud. The Netflix documentary. It's not a documentary. The Netflix series on. James Garfield.
Who was a Republican president who brought blacks to the table? This was all in the years after the War of Northern Aggression. And James Garfield, the Republican, Wanted to make sure that black people had the right to vote back in the 1880s. It's the Republican Party. That has The Republican Party has been out there leading the charge.
to make sure that black people We're free. Could vote And could claim their American dream. That's the Republican Party. That is our legacy. The Democrats, meanwhile, running around on horses, wearing bed sheets, burning crosses.
and lynching people. That's what the Democrats were doing, and they've yet to ever apologize for any of that.
So maybe, maybe, just maybe, and just a thought here, but people like Ms. Figaro, instead of getting out there and saying we've got to tear down all the statues and we've got to burn all the paintings and we've got to rewrite our history, maybe we ought to stop that for just a moment and actually read our history to understand where we have come from and where we are now. Are we a perfect country? No, we are not a perfect country. Not one country is, but we're pretty darn close.
We're pretty darn close. And I'll say this about America, and then we'll have to take a break here. But I'll say this about our great nation. When we do make mistakes, we learn from them and we grow and we make amends. That's who we are as a people.
We've always done that. No other country has done what the United States of America has done. It is. the greatest nation on the face of the earth. 901-260-5926.
I'm curious to hear your experiences. I mean, maybe I'm off base here, and maybe Tesla and Figaro, the multi-millionaire black woman, is onto something that, yeah, you can be a multimillionaire and be oppressed. This is the Todd Stern Show. In his new movie, The Dragon's Prophecy, Dinesh D'Azouza brings the new Middle East into focus with a message of perseverance, faith, and a shared global destiny. Could the fate of the world, of humanity itself, be somehow tied to this place?
At long last, we have peace in the Middle East. Israel and Christians are coming together in a way they have never been before since the book of Acts. But is this the end of Hamas and radical Islam? What does the Bible say? We have to become fighters in the spirit for God.
We don't accept what the enemy wants to do with our culture. We don't accept what he wants to do with the nation. If we keep fighting, we win. Powerful, prophetic, a must-see movie. Based on Jonathan Kahn's international bestseller, The Dragon's Prophecy combines history and scripture with faith, justice, and renewal.
The Dragon's Prophecy, a new film by Dinesh D'Souza, now available on Amazon, YouTube, and iTunes. All right, welcome back to the Tod Cearns Radio Show, and I want to share some exciting news with you. personally The good people over at Newsmax have a book publishing division called Humanics, and they publish a lot of books. And they came to me, gosh, about six or seven months ago, and they said, Hey, would you please write a book for us and whatever topic you want to write about? But we'd love to be able to publish you.
And I said, Well, sure. This is going to be my 10th book, and it's going to be out in bookstores on April 29th. But you can pre-order a copy right now. And the name of the book, and it's. I was, um, it took me, it took me some time to figure out exactly which way I wanted to go.
because I am a hopeful person. And I wanted to write a book that was optimistic and looked towards a brighter future for this country, especially in the aftermath of Charlie's assassination and lots of other stuff. Um so I did. Uh the name of the book is called The Golden Age. How Trump Saved America.
And we're going to. The book takes you through how Trump saved the military, how he saved our education system, how he saved our culture. How we even save the church. And it's a big book, too. I think 75,000 words.
So it's a big read. It's a fun read. And I think you're going to love this book. And it sets the nation up for not only the midterms, but also 2028 as we look to the future and who is going to be the standard-bearer for the America First Movement. And what does that even look like?
So I got into a lot of that in the book. I included a lot of the personal conversations, on the record personal conversations I've had with the president and many other people. And I want you to order a copy of it. You can go to Amazon right now and pre-order. They just popped the book up.
Nobody's even talking about it yet.
So it's called The Golden Age: How Trump Saved America. And Dylan, I'm kind of excited about the book cover because we decided to take a page out of the Roaring 20s and the Great Gatsby. And that's sort of a gold and black cover. Ooh, I like that, Todd. Yes.
Pretty snazzy. I'm excited for this book. It's going to be a lot of fun.
Somebody, our good friends, the Christians, the real housewives of Germantown, said they want to do like a roaring 20s party with the flapper dresses and all that kind of stuff. I've seen some of your chapter heads, Todd. This is going to be a funny book, too. It is a funny book. Jimmy Lee's dating a rhubarb.
That's a great chapter. Yeah. So there is a lot of humor there.
So, anyway, head over right now to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, wherever you get your books, and pre-order a copy of The Golden Age: How Trump Saved America. Cannot wait for you to read this book. All right, let's go to the phone lines. Idaho Manny is on the line. And, Manny, I understand you're a truck driver.
Hello, Manny. Yeah, how are you doing, Todd? Great show as always. Uh You know Male or female? Unless they risk coming back under a flequet coffin, you know, if they want to spew all that hate, especially someone like Despie Male.
You know, you were talking about You know She can spill all that from a foreign soil. She has the money to go somewhere else. And she doesn't love my country. She can pack and leave. It was very simple.
I am sick and tired of people They have a platform to get up there and spew all this hate. Because you don't love it, leave it. Very simple. Yeah, I'm with you, Manny. And let me throw in this: if you want to come here and you don't want to assimilate to the way we live our lives here, we don't want you.
You stay where you're at. Yes, sir, 100%. I agree with that too. Yeah, I was talking. And I don't care what what bro you know, I don't care what country, what nationality.
Come here legally. Don't break our laws. I tell these to people all the time, sir.
Okay, so you're for an open border? Go take that front door. Are your home or apartment tickets to Hindus? Post the sun on your yo on your lawn. Everybody, welcome.
See how that works out for you.
Well, yeah, you know they're not going to do that, Manny. Of course not. They're hypocrites, you know? And most of us are sick and tired of of this, you know, BS that they keep playing, you know, that. You know, I'm this, I'm bad, and oh, you know, I've had such a hard time, you know.
Bernie Sanders is another one. Multi-billionaire now. Remember, he used to criticize the millionaires, billionaires and millionaires.
Well, now he criticizes the billionaires and billionaires because he's a millionaire. They're not full of you know what? I ain't gonna say the word. No, no, Meanie, look, you're right. And it's funny, Bernie Sanders, multi-millionaire, has multiple homes and the guy has never worked outside of The U.S.
Senate. That's it. That's true. Yes, sir. All right.
Manny, I'm just curious, how's the scenery up there in Idaho as you're driving? Extremely quiet right now, sir. We had a storm come through here and I have a load right now, a steel beam that's picking up the the rear the rear end of the trailer twenty feet.
So I had to sit this morning and wait till The roll cleared up a little bit before I could roll. Danny, it took me a minute.
So, when you said extremely white, you weren't talking about the people there in Idaho. You were talking about the snow.
So, I said extremely long. The beam is like 70 feet long. Oh, geez. Lord, that's a long beam. And a 48-foot trailer.
Yeah, it's about 20 feet up the back end, you know. Oh, wow. All right, good stuff. Manny, you be safe out there. Keep it between the ditches, as they say.
Yes, sir. Definitely. Sunny side up. That's great. All right.
God bless you, Manny. We have a lot of truck drivers that listen to this radio show, and we are so honored. Dylan, I thought. I thought I was talking to you, you must be in Boise. I think we're both thinking that, yeah.
A lot of white. I didn't think about the snow. Yeah. Jeez a loop. The real housewives of Germantown have texted me, and they're wanting to know if we can do the book launch party at Mar-a-Lago.
Oh, yeah. I mean, I can call the president. We'll see. Mr. President.
Does the first lady have a flapper dress? Yeah. That'll be the first question. That may be the last question. I didn't see it in the documentary, but hey, maybe.
You never know. You never know. 901-260-5926. Our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.
Okay. I'm going to play some audio for you.
Well, we're going to have to wait. Doggone it, I talk too much here. Look, Marco Rubio, we're going to get into this in the next hour. Marco Rubio delivered one of the best speeches I have ever heard. And he did so at the Munich Security Conference over the weekend.
And he got One of the longest standing ovations I've ever heard from the Europeans that were there because he was. This was not an in-your-face, we're better than you speech. It was, we're in this together, and we are trying to help you.
So that you can protect and save your country. from the third world. And that's ultimately the big problem: that Western Europe, Western civilization is under attack by the Third World. And we've got to stop importing the third world into our country. We've got to do it.
So, Rubio set the stage here, and there's been this. This attitude That has been, I don't know if you guys have picked up on this, but of late, the anti-whiteness rhetoric has like ratcheted up. And it's ugly. It's very ugly. And people talking about how white people don't have culture.
Now they're trying to convince us that white people don't even exist. That there's something else there where I don't know what they want to call us. But the reality is, you're trying to get us to be ashamed of our culture. And it's something that Antonin Scalia. talked about back before he was a Supreme Court justice.
And he was talking about these the shame. There's people want to shame you for being a A white Anglo-Saxon Protestant. And he's saying there's nothing wrong with that. And that's coming from Scalia, who was Italian, who was Catholic. And Scalia was saying there's really nothing wrong with that.
And that's something that you should be proud of because everything that we have here in this country. It came from England, right? That was our original. Culture, and that's what Scalia was trying to say. We're going to get into that a little bit later on in the show.
It's a fascinating conversation, and we've got some audio from Scalia. Which is very relevant to the conversation today. All right, don't forget, head over to Amazon in the break. Pre-order a copy of The Golden Age: How Trump Saved America. Can't wait for you to read that book.
All right, hang tight, everybody. Gotta take a break. We'll be right back. Dead gummit. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Stars.
That's right. I love Love is American. And hello, everybody. Welcome to hour two of the big show. Great to have you with us.
I am your host, America's Anchorman. Todd Starnes. By the way, we do have some breaking news to share with you. This story out of. New York State, Boonville, New York.
And we have the story up at ToddSterns.com. I'd encourage you to go and watch the very disturbing video that's coming from Boonville, New York, where a massive explosion rocked the Abundant Life Fellowship Church.
Now, we understand more well over a dozen people were inside the church when the explosion happened. There are many, many casualties. We do not know the conditions of the victims. We don't know if anybody's lost their life, but it is a devastating scene there. They are medevacing many, many people that were inside the church to area hospitals.
Where we can also tell you that they believe that this may have been a gas explosion. Eyewitnesses reported a strong odor of gas just before the explosion happened.
So, we do have videos. I would caution you, it's just a disturbing video, but you can go and see that for yourself over on the website ToddSterns.com. All right, our telephone number, this hour of the program, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.
As we kick off America's 250th birthday celebration, which we're well into the throes of. One of the things that I hope that the country Pauses and reflects on the importance of faith and prayer to the founding of the nation. This is something that is evident in the administrations of people like Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan and our very first president, George Washington. And I can't imagine a better person to talk about that and the great contributions that faith have played in this country than our good friend, Dr. Jerry Newcomb, who is the executive director of Providence Forum.
Dr. Newcomb, good to have you with us today. Thank you, Todd. Great to be with you. You know, before we start, maybe if you could just sort of give us a little bit of background on what Providence Forum does.
Sure. Providence Forum was founded by Dr. Peter Loeback. And then he generously donated it to Coral Ridge Ministries, partly because I've been involved with Coral Ridge Ministries and have been for years. Coral Ridge Ministries, founded by Dr.
Kennedy, now led by Rob Pasianza. But anyway, Peter Lilback got so involved with the Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, he felt that he wanted to make sure the Providence Forum could keep doing its work. That's why he gave it. To our ministry. And the purpose of Providence Forum is essentially to educate people the way you do, Todd, on this is God bless America, not God less America, as your old classic book You know, dealt with that issue.
I mean, anybody who is honest and just looks at the facts. Of history, looks at things like the Annals of America or the Avalon Project from Yale University, looks at the original charters and documents, you see the Christian faith played a very critical role and a very positive role in the founding of America, the settling era and the founding era. And that would even include some of our presidents, such as George Washington, who was, of course, the first president under the Constitution. And again, it was faith that when you read the founding documents, when you do a deep dive into their thinking, you understand that Providence played a massive role in not only the founding of the country, but the writing of all of our historic documents. Yes, absolutely.
I mean, for example, the Declaration of Independence is our nation's birth certificate. It mentions God four times. And most importantly, it says that God is the source of our rights. And if you take away Belief in God as the source of our rights, which is what happened so often in the 20th century, still happens in some other places as well. You take away the source of those rights.
And so there's a real conflict, I think. Worldviews in conflict these days between ultimately God and anti-God. Again, when you look at America's 250, I know President Trump said they're going to be placing a special emphasis on prayer and things of that nature. How important is that collectively? I know that when you talk about things like revival, for example, that is not a collective thing.
That happens within the heart of the individual believer. But how important is that collectiveness of getting out there and worshiping God and praying to God as a nation?
Well, I think it's extremely important. I mean, for example, the founding fathers during the The time of the American War for Independence, there were at least 15 times where the Congress released. an actual proclamation saying Please set aside day such and such so we could pray, pray for the nation, pray that God would give us favor. And these weren't Mamby, Pamby prayers, Todd, you know, like to whom it may concern. No, they were praying to the great, you know, God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And so by the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, and so forth. You find some of that phraseology in some of these very prayers and proclamations. If I could give one example. Sure. Okay.
When George Washington was serving on the House of Burgesses, that is, he was one of the legislators for the state of Virginia, and Thomas Jefferson was the governor at that time and under one of the first governors as a state, Virginia as a state, and Boston was being besieged by the British because of the Boston Tea Party. They were retaliating.
So in June 1774, Thomas Jefferson, Governor Jefferson, wrote up a prayer proclamation. Asking people to fast and pray for their fellow citizens or fellow Americans in Boston. And George Washington wrote in his diary fasted, attended church all day. June 1, 1774. Just at the same time as these British ships were coming into Boston to basically invade the city and cow them into submission.
You know, I have a devotion book out called Star Spangled Blessings. And one of the chapters I wrote about was Dwight D. Eisenhower and the role he played in really encouraging people to go to church and to embrace. Things from a, you know, whether it be the prayer breakfast or, you know, talking about faith. Not that he made talking about faith cool in public, but it's just something that a lot of people didn't do.
And I think he understood that to fight the communist at the time, that the Christian faith was going to be central to that. And we saw that in the writings at the time of William F. Buckley Jr., who created really the foundation of the modern conservative movement, and Ronald Reagan as well. How important is it to use the Oval Office as really a bully pulpit?
Well, I think it's very important. In fact, even that phrase itself, it wasn't a bully platform, it's a bully pulpit. What do you think of when you think of pulpits? And by the way, as far as Eisenhower is concerned, I would just encourage anybody to just Google search Dwight D. Eisenhower's first inaugural address.
And look how he opens that inaugural address. What does he do? He says, the first thing I want to do is let's take a moment to pray. And he prays for the nation in his first inaugural address as he is becoming President of the United States. I just think that's really cool.
What, thirty fourth President, I believe. And he's the one who said that recognition of the Supreme Being is essentially the essence of America. Wow, that's a beautiful phrase. We're talking to Dr. Jerry Newcomb today, folks.
And Dr. Newcomb, you've got a great piece up on the stand that's over at American Family Association. And I love the headline of your column: Is it cool to be unpatriotic? Because it certainly appears that, you know, over the past little while, you know, now we've been watching the Olympic athletes, Team USA, take cheap shots at America. We saw the Super Bowl.
What's your takeaway?
Well, um It's funny because I don't as I say in that column, I don't even follow sports uh uh very much, but even I heard about Bad Bunny and you know, the kind of anti patriotic uh type half time show. To me, there was just a lot of ingratitude. That's what it really boils down to. Look at the freedoms and the opportunities that this nation affords people, and it's not. you know, despite God, it's because of God.
It's because our founders recognize our rights come from the Creator. And that's what has made America such a blessing. I love the way Dinesh D'Souza once said something. And here's a man coming from India And America is his adopted country. And he says, I love America.
In America, you can write your own script. It's true. I mean, you really can. We just had in the last hour, we had a lady call in, and she came here with nothing as a refugee, an immigrant. And now she's a very successful years later.
She's a very successful businesswoman in Texas, and she loves her country. And those are the kinds of immigrants that we need to be saluting and that we need to be promoting. The folks that are coming here, you know, the legal way, they're wanting to make a, you know, they're wanting to claim their American dream, and they're able to do that. You know, Dr. Newcomb, as we sort of reflect on America 250.
What is it that the people of faith in this country, the Christians, it seems to me we almost have an extra special responsibility when it comes to defending our country?
Well, I think it would be really good to wherever God has put each of us, each one of us in whatever spheres of influence that we have, to help people to realize that America is not just about making a buck or the founding fathers and the revolution was not just about taxation without representation. That's wrong. We've got to revolt against that. It was also really, truly about our God given rights. I mean, even John F.
Kennedy said when he was inaugurated in nineteen sixty one, he said, we need to remember what our forebears Said that our rights come not from the generous hand of the state, but from the generous hand of God. That's the key. That's why America has been blessed. You know, Todd, if you want, if I could just take a half a minute, I could explain the difference between the American Revolution and the French Revolution. Because the difference shows all the difference in the world, and it's kind of the struggle we're in today.
Well, I think you're absolutely right. And unfortunately, we are up against a hard break here. But Jerry, we certainly appreciate the great work. Where can people go if they want to get more information about the Providence Forum? Providenceforum.org, and we have all kinds of writings, and videos, and quizzes, and podcasts.
all related to America's Christian roots or attacks on the same. All right, Jerry, we're going to get you back on great stuff, and it's a lot to soak in. And we appreciate you joining us, and we are going to get you back on soon. Thank you again, Jerry.
Okay, thank you. All right, the great Dr. Jerry Newcomb, everybody, Executive Director of Providence Forum. And I got to get down to Coral Ridge. I haven't been down there in ages, but good people down there.
All right, our telephone number: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.
We're going to be taking your calls coming up next. All right, welcome back everybody. Let's go to the phone lines. Memphis, Tennessee. Arnaz listening to us on our flagship station, KWAM.
Hi, Arnaz. What's on your mind today? Hey, how you doing? Good. Thanks for asking.
What's going on? All right. Well folks well, for starters, I mean want to just go ahead and say we lost a giant in civil rights and Jesse Jackson. If Amazing thinking he was right there at the Lorraine when Martin Luther King was assassinated. To being there from when President Obama actually won the election.
Yeah. You know, you just think of everything that happened and everything that happened in between. It's a remarkable life that that man has lived. But And I just want to send my condolences to him and his family. But I also want to talk about the state of the Republican Party right now because Somehow.
things have gotten more dire. since the last time I called, which was a little over a month ago. Because You know, they lost another special election in Louisiana. A deep red state. And you look at the state of things now, especially with the midterms like every day just approaching.
not looking good and You look at the Republican Party now, it's like you have to ask yourself, like, What do we do and what can we do to turn this tide? Or is there anything we can do to turn this tide? Because You gotta look. come November there's a very strong possibility That the Democrats will overtake the House. Another thing that I thought of that I thought about Is like if I'm Republican, do I worry about 2026 or do I need to look?
for towards twenty twenty eight because We have an election coming up. And This is the year where we need to figure out who our candidates or who our potential candidates are going to be. And Who is who is capable to win to to keep the White House in our possession on a national level. It's a good question, Arnaz. Let me uh you you're bringing up a lot of great points, and let me try to break some of this down.
By the way, are you a Republican or a Democrat? Just I'm just curious. Oh, oh, oh, Democrat, definitely. Democrat, okay. But thing is, I look at Everything.
Trust me, I go from Rachel Maddow to Alex Jones in a given day.
Well, no, no, no. Look, I'm glad you're calling in. I'm glad you're listening. These are all great questions. Look, I'm one of the few Republicans out there who don't believe these are anomaly losses.
I believe they are symptoms and warning signs that the Republicans are off message and the Republicans have to get back on the message. It's the economy and it's people's pocketbooks. That's what's going to drive them to vote.
Now, traditionally, the. You know, the party in control, the party in power normally loses in the midterms. I will say the caveat here, Arnaz, is the Democrat Party is in as much turmoil as the Republicans are. And I would say even more so because they have no leader right now and they have no true identity.
So they're sort of wandering in the wilderness as well. But when you've got a New York, a New Mexico U.S. Senate race and you don't feel a Republican candidate for that, that tells me something is off.
Something is wrong. And I agree with that. And here's the thing. Look at the leader of the Democrat I mean, the Republican Party, which is obviously Trump. What happens after November when you know, they when they when the Republicans lose the House, He essentially becomes a lame duck.
And on top of that, look, no matter what anybody says, no matter what anybody does, he's not going to be on the ballot in 2028. He's not going to be. your candidate.
So who else Who is gonna end the thing is how he's not helping Republicans win or keep seats now. There's a very real possibility, forget November, there's a possibility Mike Johnson won't even be Speaker come the summer. That's a problem. Why is that a problem? I've got 10 seconds.
Why is that a problem? You're a Democrat. You ought to be excited about that. No, I mean, I should. Yeah, I mean, don't get me wrong, I am, but I'm also but I'm watching this.
I'm also watching it from the other side in. It's like. How do they fix this? And the question is: does the person at the top of the ticket, obviously the president, want to fix this? Let me just say this, Ardez, because we got to go to break.
But Arnaz, I want you to make sure you hear this. I find it ironic that a Democrat has a better grasp of what's happening in the Republican Party than a lot of Republicans do. Ardez, good thoughts. Give us a holler back. 901-260-5926.
Going to your phones. Josh Jones coming up next as well. This is the Todd Stern Show. And just a reminder, ladies and gentlemen, you can now officially order, pre-order a copy of my new book. It'll be out in April.
It's called The Golden Age. How Trump Saved America. So you can order it, pre-order it wherever you buy your books, Amazon, Barnes, and Noble. Real quick, before we go to our guest, let's go to Memphis, Tennessee. Tony is listening to us on KWAM.
And Tony, we were teasing the interview with our good friend Judge Joe Brown, who's jumping back into politics. And I'm curious to hear your thoughts on that. Yeah, whoa. Oh, good afternoon, Ms. Yeah.
I'm good. We've got a pretty bad signal there. Can you speak up? Yeah. Is that better than that?
That's a lot better. All right, go for it. Yeah, I am proud to hear that Judge Joe Brown is running for the A Republican primary in this election for Shelby County mayor. Uh as a past Legislative intern and longtime Shelby County. And I am definitely.
in support uh of his candidacy. I vote Republican. And I have seen both sides of the aisle And it is clear Uh that As it relates to his opponent, Judge Joe Brown, it's clearly the choice But not only um one part of Shelby County, but the entire county itself. We need that type of intelligence and that type of leadership that has already uh built the foundation on addressing the crime problem in Memphis. And not the whole But His leadership will complement the efforts that are already on the table.
to make Memphis matter and safer again. Yeah, Tony, I think a lot of people are going to feel that way. And of course, he has massive name recognition across the country. And this is a man who, and when you actually listen, we did a pre-taped interview, and we're going to play the interview with Judge Joe Brown in just a little while. But when you hear from the judge, you're going to hear from a man who.
Who has a passion for Memphis, and he wants to make Memphis a jewel, a crown jewel in the United States of America. And he's got a plan to do that.
So, Tony, be listening in the next hour when Judge Joe Brown joins us. We sure do appreciate you calling in, and they're great points. The question is whether or not the local Republicans will allow him to run. There are already questions about whether or not Judge Joe Brown is what they call a bona fide Republican.
So we'll see about that. In the meantime, I'm going to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, the number one Republican strategist in America. Josh Jones. Hey, Josh, how's it going? I'm good, Todd.
How are you? I appreciate the compliment. No, well, yeah, absolutely. You should definitely ask for a raise. I would definitely do that.
So Josh, there's a lot of trouble in your home state, the Commonwealth of Virginia. And man, the latest is nuts.
So let's let's set the stage here and explain what's going on because the Democrats, they basically want to eliminate Republican congresspeoples from your Commonwealth. Yeah, so basically, what the Democrats are doing here is with Abigail Spamberger taking the governor's office and then winning majorities both in the House of Delegates and then the state Senate, they've proposed redistricting like we've seen with some other states, where they essentially wipe out Republican representation in Congress from the Commonwealth and drawing a map that is 10 Democrats and one Republican. Mind you, currently we have six Democrats and five Republicans representing Virginia in Congress.
So it's a total annihilation. Mind you, Virginia is a swing state. You're not a deep blue state that vote 80% Democrat to vote 50-50 every time.
So it's a shameless power grab from the Democrats in Richmond just trying to stack the deck ahead of this election.
So this is blown through the Democrat-controlled legislature, and now it has to go before the people. Is that right? Yeah, so now it's going to go before a for the people of the referendum. And that should take place in April. And this is where the story gets wild because it's the way the question was framed.
Let's play cut number twenty one, please. to quote unquote restore fairness to Virginia's maps. That is about as Orwellian as it could get. Look, Virginia's current congressional map has been bipartisanly rated as one of the most fair maps in the entire country. Turning this into a 10 to 1 for Democrats congressional map is the very definition of unfairness.
You're essentially disenfranchising half of the state that consistently votes for Republicans. I mean, this is really a charade. I mean, this is I mean, you're talking about propaganda. When people go and vote, they're of who doesn't want to vote for restoring fairness? Exactly.
You're absolutely correct. I mean, of it all, this is arguably the most to the point that Clip just played, Orwellian aspect of it all. They're literally in the language for the amendment. Because, mind you, most people probably aren't like us paying attention to the politics all the time.
So, whenever they head into the voting booth in April, they're just going to say, oh, fair maps, sure, sounds great.
Meanwhile, it's a literal fate and switch from the Democrats here. And mind you, another layer to all of this is just a couple years ago, Virginia voters passed a bipartisan redistricting committee that is independent of partisan politics to draw the lines, hence why Virginia currently has some of the fairest lines in America, because we had this independent commission that voters voted for. And then now, Democrats, who at the time, Abigail Spenberg, the Spennett leader, the House Democrat leader, all back at that time, are now saying, no, never mind, we don't want that anymore because we have total control and we're just going to do whatever we want, basically. I want to read the actual ballot. Question: This is from the Virginia Department of Elections.
Question, and this is what people are going to see when they go into the ballot box. Question: Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census? I don't see anywhere in there that we're giving the Democrats permission to gut the Republican Party, which is exactly what they're going to be doing here. You're absolutely correct. I mean, it is a bait and switch.
They're blatantly lying to the people of Virginia. And on top of all that, the worst part of it all is Abigail Stanberger, who backed this independent commission a couple of years ago for the Fair Map and ran up this moderate, middle-of-the-road Democrat, is fully on board. And she's saying, well, I don't want to get in the way. You're the governor. You're leading the state.
You decide. And the fact that she's just letting this happen and backing it is just a true indication of what her political ideology is. And that she's not a moderate. She's not middle of the road. She's going to bend to whatever the Democrats want, the radical left Democrats, that is.
And it's really sad.
So I mean, voters have to defeat this ballot measure in April. If you know someone in Virginia, you got family in Virginia, you got to call them, tell them to vote no, even if the language on the b uh the ballot sounds like it's something good. It's not. What w what are the Republicans doing in in Virginia here? Are they even going to try to fight this?
I mean Oh, I There we go. Do we have Josh back? Hey, Don. All right, we got you. Sweet.
A lot of Republicans in Virginia are launching initiatives, particularly our elected officials. A lot of the former Republican governors, our most recent Attorney General, Jason Millarez, is launching an initiative.
So the Virginia Republicans are doing their part to get the message out. But I mean, this is the sort of thing where you have to have national Republican organizations and figures get involved in order to get the word out. Otherwise, voters just aren't going to know. Josh, I don't think we do. I don't think we have any sort of a national organized Republican anything.
And I say that not just for what's happening in Virginia, but for goodness sakes, we could not even field a Senate candidate in the state of New Mexico. I'm still waiting to figure out how we allow that to happen. You look at what's happening in California right now, where you've got two Republicans that are leading their, they call it the guerrilla primary, where the top two vote getters advance to the general election. Two of them are Republicans. Where is the help coming from the Republican National Committee?
Has to have leadership at the RNC and from their team to help. I mean, number one, the job of the party officials is to recruit candidates that have candidates In every race across the country, even if it's a deep blue state where you're probably not going to win, someone has to be the messenger for Republicans to those voters, otherwise, they're never going to hear another argument.
So, I mean, the national parties at the end of the RNC, I mean, it falls on them to levy these candidates across the country and also organize national efforts like we should be seeing in Virginia. Wow, that's uh That this is going to be interesting because look, if. Let's just say everybody wins every race they're supposed to win, and they lose every race they're supposed to lose. If they do that and this redistricting thing works and sticks in Virginia, Republicans lose the majority just based on what's about to happen in Virginia. Absolutely.
You're totally correct. And I think that's even more evident by Hakeem Jeffries, the House Democrat leader in DC, has said he's willing to pour tens of millions of dollars into Virginia to make sure this ballot measure passes because he knows if they can rig the system here in Virginia, that he'll get his majority in DC. what's I mean, there's a lot going on, a lot of dumpster fires burning around the country. But in your I mean, if what is your gut telling you about what the issue here is? It just seems like we're not unified on the Republican side of the aisle right now.
Yeah, I mean, I'm inclined to agree, unfortunately. Look, Democrats have their issue, and I'm not saying I agree with them, obviously. Their issue is Donald Trump. That's all they're going to message. That's all they're going to talk about.
They're going to say Trump, Trump, Trump, over and over again to drive their voters out to the polls. The Republican message to that is what? You have some people talking about border security. You have some people talking about affordability. You have some people talking about energy dominance.
Look, all important issues, but at the end of the day, you need something that's going to drive your voters to the polls. Republicans have to be unified in their messaging. And I think the winning message for Republicans is affordability. Look, the economy's on the app. And Republicans need to demonstrate that.
And also that they're working on lowering the cost of living, which affects the pocketbook of every voter. I think if Republicans could hone in on that, there'd be a consistent message to push back against this Trump derangement syndrome we're going to see from the Democrats leading up to the midterm. But currently, it just seems like everybody's sort of scatter brained. Yeah, I think you're right about that. All right.
Josh, always good hearing from you, and we'll be checking back in with you next week. Thanks, Don. All right, the great Josh Jones, everybody, one of the top Republican strategist in the country, and I, the, the, the guy knows what he's talking about. And I'm telling you, we have you, the Republicans need to wake up here. And we've, I don't know who needs to be, they need to be shook, right?
You need to shake somebody, somebody needs to be shaken. And stirred. to action. Otherwise, we're going to wake up in the midterms and it's going to be a very unpleasant day for conservatives.
So we got to get everybody got to get everybody on the same page here. All right. Our telephone number, 901-260-5926. You folks listening to us in the Memphis area, what do you think about Judge Joe Brown? You know what's interesting?
One of the things that I find fascinating is whoever gets the nomination in Memphis, you're going to have a black Republican at the top of the ticket. And back in the 1920s, it was black conservatives who actually launched the Republican Party in Tennessee, in this part of Tennessee.
So, this is a pretty exciting historic moment. All right, coming up, we're going to give you the very latest on that terrible shooting at the hockey match. where you had the transgender dude. Open fire. Unbelievable, ladies and gentlemen.
This story. We've got to have a national conversation about these transgender terrorist attacks. This is the Todd Stern Show. Mm-hmm. Have you guys been following the Epstein?
List. This cracks me up.
So you've got all these folks out there, and I'm one of them. I said from day one, we should release everything, just put it all out there.
Now, that being said, you have to have, there is a caveat. I mean, you can't just put stuff out there without any context. I mean, that makes no sense at all. But that's exactly what they did. They just released everything.
And so a lot of people, their names were mentioned. And let's just say maybe there was a news story, and the news story was in one of the emails. And so that person's name. was mentioned in the Epstein file list.
So Dylan, there are many people around the nation. When those the three million pages were released over the weekend, there were many people that were very nervous until they typed their name in to see if it was in the Epstein file list. Yeah, because it could, you know, now people are so honed in on like if your name is in there. You're cooked, but it could just be a name for literally anything. You could be the DoorDash guy, right?
And you're just like, whoops.
Well, that'll show you delivering food. Five guys. You're delivering five guys to Jeffrey Epstein. Yeah, seriously.
Well, probably five girls. But anyway, it's. Yeah. I'm going to turn my microphone off.
So, anyway, Steve Bannon, though, first of all, Whoopi Goldberg is freaking out right now on the View because her name was mentioned. And of course, now all the squawking magpies on the View are like, well, anybody can be on that list. Of course, anybody can be on that list. That doesn't mean they've done anything wrong.
Well, what about Donald Trump? Because they've been accusing Donald Trump of all sorts of things. And Trump. Was the guy who phoned into the police and said, hey, this guy, you got to check him out. And the chick, Gillay Maxwell, she's evil.
That's what Trump. Trump's the good guy in all of this. But anyway, you've got Steve Bannon out there. And Steve Bannon Let me just say. I've got a lot of questions.
And Bannon is now saying that ultimately all of the emails, the back and forth, the attacks on Trump, because Bannon attacked Trump in some of these emails with Epstein. And now Bannon is coming out and saying, well, ultimately, I was just trying to bait Jeffrey Epstein. I was doing my job as a journalist. I was trying to goad him. I'm not sure I'm buying that.
I I'm really not. And so you have all of these. Folks that sort of came out of nowhere in the conservative movement. It's really the strangest thing. But there are a lot of folks that just sort of spray.
I've been doing this a very long time. All right, a very long time, over 20 years I've been doing this. And Some of these folks just sprang up, and all of a sudden they had millions of followers just overnight. And I often wondered. Is this all real?
Are these people who just sort of came up out of nowhere and now they have millions of followers? Is it possible that these folks may actually, I don't know, be working for? The CIA or one of the alphabet agencies, and they're really not who they They say they are. Is is is that possible here? And now, when you look at Steve Bannon, and there are a lot of people that don't like Steve Bannon, I'm indifferent.
I mean, I follow his work, and a lot of stuff I agree with, a lot of stuff I don't. but I've never had him on my show, and there was a reason for that. And I want to make sure when I'm bringing guests onto this program that these people are very well vetted and they're actually coming to you. From a, you know, they're not trying to misrepresent who they are. Yeah.
And so I'm getting some blowback. They're like, Starnes, how come you're not there condemning Steve Hannah?
Well, why is that my job? You know, that am I am I like a judge of people now? I mean, I understand I've been hosting, I'm the longest-serving host in this time slot since Rush passed. But that doesn't mean that I'm supposed to be like, you know, lording over people and judging. No, that's your job, ladies and gentlemen, as a viewer, as a listener.
Your job is to determine, okay, this person is authentic, this person is not leading me astray, this person is doing all the rights you know, saying all the right things and doing all the right things. You got to do your research. And when you do your research, you realize that shows like this, there's a reason why we are long-lasting. Because we don't operate in BS. And we sure as hell didn't go email Jeffrey Empstein.
Gotta take a break. This is the Todd Stern Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's us, that's us. Bye.

Well, we're very excited to welcome our next guest. He is an incredible host on Newsmax, host of John Bachman Now. He has a brand new book out this week. Called Turning Point: How Reagan Liberated Grenada and Won the Cold War. John, welcome to the show.
Todd, it is an honor to be with you, my friend. Great to hear from you. Man, well, look, I you see, I love doing I like doing T V, but I love radio because we're able to have a great long form conversation without a producer screaming in my ear, we've got to wrap and go to break. I'm so excited. This is one of my favorite interviews.
I've been looking forward to this one. Ready to nerd out with you about the book. No, I am. Look, I am a Reagan nerd, and every time I'm in Southern California, try to get over to the library as much as I can. But the story of Grenada, I mean, that really is a remarkable story.
And I'm curious: of all the things you could write about Reagan, why did you focus there?
Well, I have a guy who I met through Newsmax. His name is Sal Russo. He is a former lobbyist and previously ran a nonprofit that I worked with. He also, once upon a time, used to drive Ronald Reagan around in a car all over California, taking him to various events. We were at a dinner one time, and we were talking about Ronald Reagan coincidentally.
How He always came across just so smooth and debonair. Uh in his media appearances. Um uh can't you know And he told me a story. He said, you know, Reagan, especially after he got shot, was so above. Being ruled by his emotions.
He never got emotional about anything. Tickle Neil would stab him into the back, and people would say, Well, you got to get revenge. Reagan would never. You know, stoop to that level, he said the only time that he really saw Reagan get emotionally upset. After he got shot, he was right after Grenada.
And I said, Well, what do you mean? And he explained that Margaret Thatcher, who was his best friend politically, was deeply hurt by the whole entire Operation Urgent Fury because Ronald Reagan and James Baker and his staff, his internal circle, made the decision not to inform Margaret Thatcher before they went in and conducted Operation Urgent Fury. At the time, Grenada, and to this day, is still part of the British Commonwealth.
So it was. of you know, embarrassing for Margaret Thatcher. to have the faith. Her political rivals in the UK, and they all knew that she did not get the heads up that the United States was about to go in. what was at stake is there are six hundred American medical students on the island There was a Marxist coup taking place, a more moderate in quotations.
Marxist Dictator named Maurice Bishop. was deposed by his one-time friend and political and then political rival. uh uh Bernard Coward, who was a more radical Marxist As displayed by his willingness to kill his one-time friend to take over control of Grenada, because Maurice Bushup. was even thinking about holding elections on the island of Grenada. What I find fascinating about this story is because the year before you had the Falklands War with Margaret Thatcher sitting in, and that was very unpopular until they won.
And then, of course, Thatcher became this rock star in the UK. Yes, and there was constant conversation between Reagan and Thatcher about the UK and conversations about what the United States should do. There was some equivocation. And one of the stories we talk about and when we Get to the point of Grenada, we kind of set the stage on all the events that led up to the decision, is was mishandled really by Alexander Haig, who was President Reagan's first. Um Secretary of State and you know just Had his own agenda, which was different and a part, and which was something they kind of wanted initially in the Reagan administration.
But the Falklands War and the way it was handled by Haig led to his ultimate resignation from the Reagan administration. And once Haig was out, we had George Schultz in, and that really created. The real inner circle of advisors that Reagan needed to really propel his foreign policy into what he wanted it to be, which, of course, was deeply anti-communist, very much in favor of the Monroe Doctrine. And ultimately, the goal for Reagan was getting rid of all the nuclear weapons, not just the end of the Cold War, but getting rid of all the nuclear weapons. On the face of the earth, and it's a goal that is still worthy and worth pursuing today.
You know, there was, if you were, if you were of that age, and I'm a Gen Xer, John, and I remember the movie, a movie coming out, ABC, it was on TV, called The Day After, which Went into graphic detail of what would happen if nuclear war broke out and they focused on Lawrence, Kansas, and Kansas City. They say that movie. Had a significant impact on the psyche of Reagan and really helped compel him to double down on getting rid of the nukes. Yeah, no, it's it's true. Bregan was was very much affected by that.
And I Mostly he was moved, I think, when it came to i his foreign policy. By his faith, which is also something that was really crystallized after the assassination attempt. He saw really how godless communists were, not just in the Soviet Union, but also in China, and what was happening in the Western Hemisphere, in Nicaragua, in El Salvador and other places. Where even though we were watching the Communist regime grow and basically die off because of old age, you still have this zombie movement of Marxism. Spreading across.
the world. And I tell the story, I open the book with the story of Nicaragua. And the Stamosa family, which had been the preferred regime of Western government. to protect business interests, but They had lost the support of Jimmy Carter, and Jimmy Carter turned around and supported the Sandinistas. um which was the Marxist regime uh the Marxist group there That ultimately took over Nicaragua.
And from there, when the world saw that the American President, Jimmy Carter, was willing to take the side of a Marxist organization. And the CIA knew they were Marxists, the U.S. government knew they were Marxist, but they still supported them because it was slightly more palatable than what was taking place in Nicaragua, the rest of the world realized that they were going to turn the other eye towards this type of communism. And that didn't stop until Reagan came into power. Of course, Iran respected Reagan's power, but it was followed up with years later with Grenada and many other things as well.
It sent the message to the world. That communism is not going to be tolerated in the Western Hemisphere. John Bachman joins us on our Patriot mobile newsmaker line today. The name of the book, it's out. You'll be able to get a copy today: Turning Point: How Reagan Liberated Grenada and Won the Cold War.
You know, John, one of the things that I know that you write about is Reagan had a chance. I mean, they could have gone in and turned Grenada into, I don't know, some sort of a luxury, you know, you know, place, but he didn't do that. He did not go into a nation-building mode, which is what a lot of other presidents have done. George W. Bush did that with Iraq, and it just was a complete disaster.
But that was, you write about that. And how significant was that to avoid the interventionist mode? I think it was hugely significant, and I don't think it was popular. With a, we get into, and we don't specifically mention the beginnings of the neocon movement, but there is. In this you know, I don't really talk much about the second term of President Reagan, but you start to see where the Republican Party splits up between the more neocon-minded people, which is an offshoot of what Henry Kissinger always did, which was detente and the shuttle diplomacy.
And what Reagan wanted to do was quick and decisive action. to send a message to our adversaries that it wouldn't be tolerated and as opposed to these ongoing negotiations and talks and everything. We saw that with Reykjavik and the other summits that Reagan had with the Soviets that He was not going to play this game. It's not a game of inches. It was taking decisive steps.
to let them know that there was no future for communism in the world. Again, when you look at that mindset. And Reagan certainly had it. HW, George H.W., as VP, had it. And I think it really angered a lot of folks when we didn't go into Iraq in the first Gulf War.
And I think that truly impacted his son W's decisions in the aftermath of 9-11. Yeah, there's a story about Margaret Thatcher telling George H.W. Bush to not go wobbly. And there's another story too. And I think The lessons that the Reagan administration learned in the Middle East with what happened in Lebanon, and it was Margaret Thatcher who convinced Ronald Reagan not to go in.
And start a full-blown war in Lebanon, because even if they could control the territory temporarily, all the sectarian violence and different factions, there was no real victory to be won by invading and occupying Lebanon. And somehow that message got lost. in translation From the Reagan administration to the Bush administration. And many of the people that were Donald Rumsfeld, for example, and other people who were. not part of the inner circle of the Reagan administration.
In the foreign policy decisions, they became the leaders of the Bush administration and. We saw, I don't talk about Donald Trump. The book doesn't get into his presidency, but there are obvious parallels. Uh As when Trump came into office, when Reagan came into office, the march of communism, the tacit approval of communism from the previous administration. And then also The the understanding of the Monroe Doctrine and the Roosevelt corollary that simply says we cannot have these malicious actors operating in our backyard.
And that is what is old, is new again now that President Trump is really dealing with the same issue that Reagan dealt with. And honestly, going all the way back to even way before he was president, back when he and William F. Buckley Jr. were really working together to create what is now the modern conservative movement. It really was a fight against communism.
Exactly, exactly. Reagan coming from Hollywood had seen the effect that communism had then as governor of California. He'd seen the radical communists and what they did to Berkeley and what he had to do to stop it. And he also very Closely followed and understood, and was briefed about the inner workings of the Soviet regime inside the USSR. He understood it, he studied it.
A lot of people thought he wasn't intelligent or intellectual, but that was quite the opposite. When you, when I got a chance to interview Edwin Meese, one of his closest advisors, for about four hours, five hours one day. and really helped me understand what Led Ronald Reagan to these decisions. And Christopher Lehman, who was another Reagan administration official, talked about the fact that when Reagan had his mind made up on something, we're not going to move him off. of his true north.
one or two degrees either way. He knew exactly what he wanted to accomplish. All right. Well, we got to leave it there, John. Oh, man.
I know we do have to take a break here, but let me just say this: folks, you got to get a copy of this book. It's a great read. Turning Point: How Reagan Liberated Grenada, Won the Cold War. Are you doing like a book tour? Are they sending it out?

It's a fascinating story and one that's been undercovered because one of my favorite, real quick, you know, Reagan made this decision.
He was on a golf vacation at Augusta National playing with George Schultz. It was the same week that the Beirut Marine Barracks bombing happened, and he had to sort all this stuff out.
So it's a very fascinating story about executive decision-making, just among all the other fascinating little anecdotes in the book.
So I'm very proud of what we've accomplished here. It was edited by Craig Shirley, and just encourage people to get a copy. Oh, yeah, he's good. Craig Shirley. Jeez Alou.

The Golden Age. How Trump Saved America. Alright, hang tight, everybody. Gotta take a break. We'll be right back.
Well, certainly a lot of excitement among Republicans as the great judge Joe Brown announces he is running to be the next. County mayor in Shelby County, which is the home of Memphis, Tennessee. Judge Joe Brown running as a Republican, and he joins us today on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Judge, congratulations to you.
Well, let's see if I prevail.
So anyway, thank you upfront for the confidence in that. We're gonna We're going to get to the race in a second, but I've got to give you some props, Judge, because for years you have been calling out these woke women out there that have pretty much destroyed the Democrat Party on their way to destroying America. You've been the only guy for years calling them out, and now all of a sudden, America has woken up and realized: oh, we got a problem with all these woke women out there.
Well, that is a thing. It's not all women. It's just a particular. brand of them that don't like men too much. And that's one of the problems with our country.
Our republic has been diminished because for the last half century, there has been a concerted effort to emasculate it.
Now granted the ladies had some real grievances, But for the most part, they've been Cured except for the vagaries of this human nature. But You cannot. operate will When you destroy your yin-yang balance, yin-yang balance, fifty percent of the human race is the feminine gender and the other fifty percent is the masculine gender. And when you try to destroy one half of it, it doesn't work too well.
So we need to restore the balance And we need to do things like restoring the family. Raising children appropriately and dealing with duty, honor, obligation, responsibility, accountability, morality, ethics. having a sense of purpose. a standard of ethics And having a good feeling about courage and bravery, which seem to have been diminished over the years. Also, public peace, dignity, and order need to be respected again.
And it seems that the opposition As Gotten entirely too permissive, and the cities and urban areas that they run.
Well, they're just complete chaos and they failed at the fundamental responsibility of governance, which is delivering public peace, dignity and order. It's death and theft at the gas pump and on the streets of our urban centers in the United States because of this. That needs to be changed. And yet, Judge, we have seen just something remarkable happen, at least in Memphis, with President Trump sending in the Federal troops, thousands of very dangerous people picked up off the streets. And what does that tell you about the White House, President Trump, and his commitment to a place like Memphis?
Well, it's so trying to restore order. He is a senior citizen. He's accomplished his main goals in life economically. He's got a great family. He doesn't have any long-term political ambitions to drive him to compromise.
And effectively the Republic is constipated and he's fitted a laxative and I think he's giving it an enema and the process is kind of smelly.
So people don't like being held into accountability. But it's necessary. And you can see the enormous popularity that he has achieved In coming back.
Now our news media, which is a creation A propaganda engine that has That agenda that's driving them has been trying to mislead the public and get us to understand that he's in trouble, he is slipping. Nobody likes him, nobody loves him, et cetera, et cetera. But people do. And it's time we woke up to the fact that the communications, entertainment and news industry industries are controlled by basically the same people Not the billionaires I'm talking about, but people who have a vested interest in seeing that masculinity is suppressed because they don't handle it too well. And that's not a healthy thing.
That's like some guy that's a man hater is not healthy. And somebody who is a woman hater is not healthy. And that goes whatever the gender may be going back and forth. And we forget that basically. It's about the next generation, and that requires gender.
And I understand that people have a First Amendment right. to delude themselves Bye. I had to put some people in jail for passing counterfeit money. And trying to pass a counterfeit guy out there or a counterfeit gal out there is not too cool either. You know, so hence A thing, and I hate to be crude about it, but the big question is.
When is the Democratic Party going to resolve the crucial issue of how much hair a guy can have on his face and still use the girl's bathroom? It's a fair question, Judge. Let me ask you I think a lot of people may have been surprised that you're running as a Republican. Why I remember a while back, you actually discussed why you left the Democrat Party. Yeah, I mean, it it's become un-American.
It's become anti- initiative, anti hard work anti application and it has become thing it's become the party of the couch potato. In other words, you sit down and make believe without having to do because something does it for you. And I know that leads to an unhealthy individual and an unhealthy population. It also leads to an unsafe one. And I'm particularly concerned with what's happening with the border these days.
It's not just the usual things that are expressed, but it's a matter of national security. Hamas, ISIS, al-Qaeda, they hate us. Um Iran certainly doesn't like us. North Korea is not friendly. And we have B 52s, B1s, B two's, F twenty two's, F thirty-fives, FA18s, F15s.
F-16s the Marine Corps and the Navy to keep everybody at a distance. But essentially, what a military does is to protect the borders from invasion. or transgression. And we have had an administration in power and authority for the previous four year term that has left those borders wide open and undid everything that the Defense Department, now War Department, has been about in what is it, nine hundred billion dollars worth of funding to do what they do. And we have had four years.
Of a wide open border where people could walk across with backpacks filled with military grade explosives. And detonation devices, and they don't have to scrap on dynamite and be a suicide bomber. They don't have to play kamikaze and crash aircraft into the Twin Towers. They have already planted their explosive devices. and they are awaiting their instructions to flip the switch and watch the firework from several miles away instead of self-immolating.
And that's what we face right now. And I think it is a disgusting travesty for people to sit there. On there. Derry Bottoms. Without the nerve to go out and deal with the people they represent face to face.
And start advocating that ICE and other agencies that are trying to stop this from happening. to go ahead and let it go. and let it happen. And I wonder what they're going to say when we get the next 911, which is inevitable under the circumstances.
So we have a real live mess. And another thing going on too. The Census Bureau is predicting that California, New York, New Jersey, Illinois will probably lose up the six congressmen by twenty thirty. That's in four years. And that will be crucial when it comes down to Such things as introduction of legislation, and particularly in the Senate, where the margins are so narrow.
that they will lose their ability to pass their sick agendas and press them on to the nation.
Now, that thing you see in Oh, boy. Minnesota. With the Sombalian cheats on the Child care. And public assistance roles. I'm not saying all of them are bad, but this.
situation Is widespread. When you see something like that, you can count on the corruption going all the way to the top of the hierarchy. In a given state or area, because somebody's on the take, let it happen. And that's the case down here in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. This is one of the most crooked places in the United States.
And it is, in fact, by any metric, the most dangerous city in the United States and the tenth most dangerous city in the whole world. You really run a risk walking around down here. It was so nice. To have these young men and women from the National Guard show up. And start persisting in restoration of public peace, dignity and order.
And that somebody would disregard that just so they can go after a boogeyman. What is it called in Don Wick the Baba Yaga? And do that at the expense of the safety of the people they're supposed to be representing. Because it gives them something to attack because they have nothing to offer affirmatively.
Now we have to stop this because it's gone far enough. And we do not need somebody coming in and saying, you're supposed to vote for us because we're going to save you from a boogeyman who's simply trying to tell you that you need to be about some business that all adult Humans need to be about. Judge, let me jump in here. What is it going to take for a Republican to win in a place like Memphis? I mean, that would be national new international news if a Republican could win here.
What's it going to take to make that happen?
Somebody like me. And why is that? Because for the last half century, myself and other people too, we have gone about the business of actually representing the people or being about the people's interest rather than just using the opportunity to get in and steal. In the primary, the Republican primary, you'll be going up against. John D.
Berry, who was kicked out of the party, kicked out of the Democrat Party because he was pro-life. What's your take on Mr. DeBerry? Mr. Dee Berry is a preacher.
I'm sure he's a fine preacher. But this is not a moment when we need to save souls. This is somebody's moment to come in and. kick butt and get things in line and take no prisoners. That's what we need right now.
He's done some good things in his life. He runs a fine church, I understand, but He's had every ample opportunity to make waves, lock the boat and do some things that needed to be done, and he hasn't done them, other than being kicked out of the Democratic Party for being pro-life, which is You know, that's what preachers are supposed to do, isn't it? I thought that was their job.
Now granted, he did his job, But on the other hand, she There are the thugs out there that need to have somebody that they can deal with. Judge, I gotta jump in because our time is quickly expiring here. But I will tell you that people are thrilled. Hundreds of people weighing in. One guy says, Love that guy.
Perhaps it's because Judge Joe Brown loves America and civilization. He's also smart as a whip.
Someone else said this: as a juvenile, I stood before him three times terrified. Curfew violations. That man, Judge Joe Brown, back in the late 80s, was the most fair, honest, gritty, to the point judge we have ever had that I have ever seen. Joe, I think a lot of people are excited because they love this city and they want to make it great again. And it certainly looks like a lot of people believe you're the guy to do it.
I've got 30 seconds. Your last thoughts. Hey, if I do anything, it's not me doing it, it's the people doing it. I will be but the mechanism for the people. To get their will done, which is making themselves part of a great republic in the republic greater.
You know, the irony here, Judge, is that the Republican Party in Memphis was actually started by well-to-do, wealthy black men. And now here we are so many years later, and the two top contenders for the Republican nomination are two very accomplished black men. What does that say?
Well The Lincoln Republicans are what you're talking about, so it's time we got back to our roots. The Democratic Party represents the old slave masters, but instead of having King Cotton running things. What we have is tranny queen. rainbow. And that's not what we need because that does nothing for the ordinary person.
We need economy, we need law and order, we need purpose, we need dignity and we need peace. And that's what needs to be delivered. And it's time for People to understand that when you always vote for one party no matter what they don't do for you, and always vote against another one no matter what they do do for you.
