From the Mighty 990 Broadcast Center, you're waking up in Starnes Country with Todd Starnes. And happy Friday, everybody. This is Todd Cearns. You are listening to the Mighty 990. And there is still a lot of snow out there on the ground.
Is it just me? Or does it feel like we have had like two weeks stuffed into this one week? This has been. Absolutely insane across the mid-South. By the way, broadcasting today from our beautiful palatial Principal Toyota Memphis studios.
And if you are looking for a great car and a great deal on a car, you've got to go check out our friend Todd Lochner over at Principal Toyota.
So, anyway, yeah, it is getting a little bit better out there today. Right now, on at least stretches of poplar, there's like one and a half sections of roadway.
So, we're certainly not going to quibble about that. Curious to know how road conditions are out there. I know a lot of people have been asking on our socials about that.
So, you folks, all you K-WAM travel experts, please share that intel with us on our socials this morning. DeSoto County, I My heart goes out to you guys. I'm just going to say this. Your county was not prepared. And that, I mean, period, that's it.
It really doesn't matter. It doesn't matter where you are in DeSoto County. The entire county, whether you're in a municipality or whether you're in the county proper, everybody let you down that you elected. That's pretty much the gist of that. And hopefully, I think really the only solution is warmer weather, which is not going to be coming for a few more days.
So just hang in there. DeSoto County now urging emergency travel only because now they're dealing with. Staffing shortages, and they're also having issues with supplies as well, ice melt and whatever they're putting out on the roadways there.
So it's really unfortunate what happened in DeSoto County. You folks can remedy that at the ballot box. There were also decisions made in South Haven, of all places, not to purchase snow plows and other equipment that could have mitigated what is quite frankly a disaster. And, you know, my heart goes out to. To all of the business owners who had to shut down.
You've got employees that were not able to go to work. I mean, employees that are not going to get paid. For the week, especially those restaurants. And I want you to make a mental note of something if you don't mind. When the thaw happens, the first places that you ought to check out are those locally owned restaurants.
Give those folks a helping hand because this is going to be a tough slog for everybody.
So, anyway, we'll get into that. Let us know if you're into Soto County, how things are out there. I know there is just a ton of frustration, even in the Germantown area. And I still stand by what I said yesterday. Folks, these municipalities ought to reach out to Bartlett and see how they did it because Bartlett did a great job of getting those roadways and those major intersections cleared.
We are still, it's just, it's really sort of laughable in Germantown, what we're dealing with over there. It took me 40 minutes. A normally 10-minute commute took me 40, on average, takes 40 minutes all this week because of the The rush hour one-lane traffic there.
So, anyway, our telephone number: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. Coming up, and if you think we've got it bad. And we've got it pretty bad around here. If you think we've got it bad, what's happening in Nashville is off-the-charts bonkers.
And when you look at what's happening in Nashville right now, this is the result of electing woke leftists. Morons for office and also hiring woke leftist morons to run very important things like, say, The electric company over a hundred thousand customers are still without power. In Nashville. And one of the reasons why we're going to talk to Steve Gill and Pamela Fur in a little while. They're going to give us the lowdown on what's happening.
Steve Gill told me the outlying areas that are actually controlled by Republican governments, everything's getting back to normal. But in Nashville, in dark blue Nashville, which is just like Memphis. It is bad. It's really bad, and the people are enraged. Turns out that one of the reasons they had so many trees falling on the power lines is that the woke leftists in charge of the power company didn't want to cut down any trees.
They didn't want to affect the tree canopy in Nashville.
Well, how did that work out for him?
So, we're going to check in with Steve Gill, Pamela Fur. It is a mess, a mess in Music City this morning. All right, let's go to the phone lines here: 901-260-5926. Cindy is calling us from South Haven. Cindy, good morning to you.
What's it like over in South Haven? Good morning, Todd. Um, I'm on State Line Road. I'm actually at State Line in 55. right now and it's good.
State line rode yesterday was surprisingly clear. Much clearer than Goodman Road the day before. And I'm most surprised with the city of Germantown. That's where my commute is. And I was just shocked that Wolf River Boulevard had had no treatment at all.
That's the worst part of my commute is getting from is Germantown Road and Wolf River Boulevard, and that area seems to have not been treated at all. Cindy, I thought, you know, because I knew how popular was going to be, and people love to ride your bumper, especially when there's completely snow-covered roads.
So I thought, you know what? I'll try Wolf River. I either go Poplar or Wolf River. I got to Wolf River in South Germantown, that big intersection, and I thought, sweet mercy, it was insane.
So I had to, I just did a big U-turn right there and went the other direction. But you're right. And I've heard from a lot of people because that is the medical district. And you're telling me, tell us, describe the road conditions that you saw there this week. It's it's just You know, stacked up solid sheet of ice, you know, snow covered with ice.
There's some ruts where some trucks have gone through.
So if you don't have a truck, it's a little bit difficult navigating over that.
Now, this morning, I'm actually in my car. This is the first day I've not been in a truck. But Um I feel like used to in the past they would put like gravel at the intersections, and I haven't seen any of that. I don't know if that's something they don't do anymore, but I do see gravel on State Line Road. State Line Road is very heavily traveled with truck traffic between fifty five and two lane road, and I think that's what's cleared it.
But I will tell you, I picked up a friend on Star Landing Road in Lake Comrade. And from 61 West on Star Landing Road Wednesday, that's the clearest road I have seen. And it's a very rural area, but somebody plowed that street. And it was beautiful. Is that right?
Yes, I've been on Highway sixty one. I took sixty one Wednesday. It was a little treacherous but but passable. Took Tomfloor Avenue, which I usually avoid because I figured it would be the most traveled. I've been on Walnut Grove yesterday and it was pretty well clear.
Just one lane of traffic, everybody mostly being courteous. Um, you know, just being patient and everybody staying in that one lane. And so this morning it looks much better on fifty five, of course, as the some of it melted and blew off and the dry the dry road is clear this morning. But I'm going to be curious to see what it looks like when I get to Wolf River in Germantown this morning, because I have a feeling it's going to look the same as It has always. It's, yeah, I would not be surprised.
And let me know, Cindy. I haven't even turned down that way. I've just been, you know, trying to pray I don't get stuck in the mediums. The mediums are still, of course, you know, giant snow hills. But also, we've got to give a shout out, though, Cindy, to everybody in DeSoto County who's been out literally just citizens, volunteers have been grabbing pizzas, food.
They were bringing them to all of the stranded trunk drivers and motorists on the interstates there. And that really says a lot, again, about the heart and the character of the good people here in the Mid-South. Yes, it is heartwarming to see people coming together. Neighbors helping and the people that, as you said, they just want to get out and do what they can to help somebody.
Well said. All right, Cindy, you be safe out there and good luck traversing Wolf River. Thank you for that. And by the way, she's not the only person that's been reaching out about that Wolf River district. By the way, this is an insane story.
Channel 3, talking to Ashley Lord. Her daughter, Lydia, is a student at Rhodes. She had been stuck on Highway 72 in Mississippi since Wednesday night. Her mom said she hit Highway 72 on the 28th. and uh pretty much has been dead stopped on the highway.
since about 5 o'clock last night.
Now She says the problem is, and you know, she's been in touch with her daughter, and her daughter got stuck on the median, which is where a lot of people are getting stuck. And yesterday on Poplar, I'm telling you, that's where people were getting stuck. And it's getting dangerous because a lot of those big pickup trucks, they're using those snowy mediums to pass all the cars and they're not seeing. I almost saw a major accident last night because the the truck driver just wasn't paying attention. Anyway, the mom says the problem here is there is No communication coming from any Mississippi leaders.
She said, and get this, she contacted the church, a church that was near where her daughter was stranded, and the church, the youth pastor and his wife, were able to get out there. They walked her to their home and fed her breakfast and gave her coffee, and she was able to sit by the fireplace. It's unbelievable. That's the kind of spirit and hospitality. But again, Mississippi, you guys are going to have to come to Jesus meeting with your folks.
901-260-5926 is our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. Coming up to Memphis City Council members. Are claiming that all of the snow that fell is Not real. It's fake.
No, this is not Babylon B. This is real life. This is Memphis. And we're going to tell you who those city council members are, and we're going to tell you what they think that snow is. Also, I have a question for all of you moms and dads out there.
And this is a crazy story, but I'm very curious to hear your thoughts on this.
So, the Today Show is doing a big thing saying that little boys, like boys especially, need to stop wearing shorts and t-shirts when the weather is cold.
So, my question is: do you let your kids wear the shorts, wear the t-shirts when it's like freezing outside? Or do you let them pretty much wear whatever they want to wear? 901-260-5926, our number. That's 901-260-5926. Let's check in with Commander Chuck standing by with a look at your traffic.
And welcome back. Good morning. You are in Stearns Country this morning. I'm Todd Stearns, 27 degrees outside. Laura Huckabee is going to be along in just a little while with your weather forecast.
Our telephone number, by the way, 901-260-5926. The big story from the Memphis Flyer. Two Memphis City Council members are claiming that the snow outside is actually. Man-made. Yeah.
Winterstorm fern, ladies and gentlemen. It's man-made. That would be Pearl Walker and Yolanda Cooper Sutton. They are both claiming now that the snow was artificial, posting videos and stories on Facebook this week. And they're not the only ones.
So Yolanda Cooper Sutton posted a video and she says her husband was trying to melt a chunk of snow with a lighter, and she said it wasn't melting and it stunk When you set it on fire, she said, OMG, What is happening? She said, We decided to see what was really falling when it hit the ground. It's not melting. And then she puts it back in slow motion, showing the flame licking the snow, but no water drips. And she said it to a musical selection called The Tragedy of Ignorance.
How ironic!
So she's not the only one. Walker commented on the post and said this was man-made. This was man-made snow. She also posted a link to another Facebook video. From Angela Thacker in that one.
Oh, Sunshine Thacker. Angela Sunshine Thacker. Thacker said that when she first picked up the snow, it was different and that she would not use it to make snow cream.
Now, I just want to say something here. Um I wouldn't recommend making snow cream anywhere in the Mid-South, to be perfectly blunt about it.
So now people are all across the mid-south are alleging this is some sort of, I don't know, what is it, Elon Musk? Is Elon responsible for all the man-made snow out there? Another person wondered why the snow was not dripping and why it was turning black. Sunshine Thacker says She really doesn't know why. She's not making any kinds of accusations, but that brings in.
Hunter Dempster, who is right now at war with the Republican Party in Shelby County. And I'll tell you about that in a moment. Hunter Dempster is actually attacking the two city council members and says it's disheartening to see several sitting Memphis City Council members literally pushing conspiracy theories about man made snow. He said, We are screwed as a species. And so now, now walk now, now all the libs are fighting each other, which is really sort of fun.
So, I don't know, maybe make yourself a snow cream and sit back and enjoy the chaos there. These are your elected city council members, ladies and gentlemen, and two of them believe all of this snow is some sort of a vast, what, right-wing conspiracy? Are they blaming Trump yet for sending more ice to the Mid-South? Is that it? 901-260-5926.
That's 901-260-5926. Then you've got a situation where Hunter Dempster, who runs he runs one of these activist groups. I don't know if it's Defecate Memphis or one of the other ones. Anyway, he was all upset because the Republicans had invited Joey Selepec. To MC the big Lincoln dinner.
Well, it's r the medium-sized Lincoln dinner they're having over at Shelby Farms at the FedEx Center. And I don't know what he was accusing Solopek of or what he was accusing the Republicans of. But it's really insane, these leftist groups. They will attack anything and anybody. It's like, come on, folks, she's aloof.
All right. Coming up, we're going to be talking to Steve Gill and Pamela Fir, and they're going to give us the latest rundown on what's happening in Nashville. Area, it is not good, not good. But right now, I do want to check in with Parker May standing by with your sports update. Wow.
I'm Parker May and this is your K-When Sports Update presented by Ortho One Sports Medicine and Dr. Lobach. In-cost basketball, the Memphis Tigers got back on track with a dominant 92-65 win over FAU to prove the 5-3 in America Conference play. Doug McDaniel led the way with 23 points and six assists. The Tigers are now one game back, first place, heading into Sundays matchup versus two lanes.
A big Saturday ahead in the SEC as top matchups include Auburn at Tennessee, Kentucky at number 15 Arkansas, and Omiss at number 18 Vaynerdale. My picks for these big games are Auburn over Tennessee, Arkansas over Kentucky, and Vanderbilt over Ole Miss. In the NBA, the Memphis Grizzlies will be back in action tonight in New Orleans to face the Pelicans as they try to snap a four-game losing streak.
However, the Grizzlies are expected to get guard tied room back from injury in a couple of days. Drum has not played since the preseason due to a cap injury. I'm Parker May on the Moddy 990 K-Wave. All right, thank you very much. Parker May every Thursday or every Friday and Monday with those sports weekend sports updates.
Coming up a little bit later, we'll check in with Aiden Pettit, has a look at what's happening in entertainment across the Mid-South. By the way, This is a funny story out of Virginia where they just elected all these Democrats, and now they're introducing 50 new taxes. The Democrats are taxing the wazoo out of the good people in the Commonwealth of Virginia. And I think it's a beautiful thing. You get, look, the people voted for this, and now even Democrats are having buyers' remorse.
I want you to listen to this. Apparently, the Democrats have greenlit a 200% increase in electricity prices. Take a listen to this, Liberal. I just got my energy bill for the month. Dominion Energy out of Virginia.
My bill has tripled. Like I usually pay about two hundred bucks, you know, on a regular three hundred on a high note. Six hundred and twenty one bucks. That's more than my car payment. What the actual hell is going on?
Well, I'll tell you what's going on. You people got snookered. You voted for Democrats. What did you think the Democrats were going to do? How did you think the Democrats were going to pay for all of this nonsense?
And by the way, if you think that's bad, Wait until you see what's about to happen in New York City. They have something like a billion-dollar deficit up there. People are going to be moving south, and we say, Welcome, y'all, but leave your politics at home. And if you bring it, you got to turn right around and go back to where you came from. All right, we've got to take a quick break here: 901-260-5926.
This is Starnes Country, the principal toad of Memphis Studio. All right, 27 degrees and the high heading up to expect you to be in the 40s today before dropping to 14 tonight.
So, if you want to wear shorts and t-shirts, now is the time to do that. Welcome back to Starnes Country, broadcasting in the Principal Toyota Memphis studio. By the way, we do have some breaking news to share with you, and you'll be able to find this story exclusively on ToddStarnes.com. But we can tell you that late last night in Los Angeles, federal authorities arrested ex-CNN host Don Lemon. This is going to be an explosive story today.
Lemon has been arrested for his role and charged in his role in storming an evangelical Christian church in St. Paul that was City's church. His attorney telling the New York Times. That Lemon was taken into custody by the federal agents where he was covering the Grammy Awards.
So we will keep you updated. Again, that story over on ToddSterns.com.
Well, I want to go right away to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker lines, and we are honored to have two good friends with us, Pamela Fur from Americans for Prosperity Tennessee, and Steve Gill, the publisher of TriStarDaily.com. And, guys, good to have both of you with us. Pamela, I want to start with you. Tell us about the conditions there in Middle Tennessee. How are things?
Well, they are improving, but not improving as fast as they could be. And I will also say, you're getting temperatures in the 40s today. We are not. And we have another chance of snow today.
So this is not good news for the Middle Tennessee area. Steve, I know that you've been covering this around the clock, and there's been so much frustration. I think Clay Travis is coming unglued right now over the incompetence of the electric company down there. Tell us about that. I know you've been covering a lot of that angle of the story on TriStar Daily.
Pointed out, we're seeing some improvement in power being restored in Nashville and Davidson County. but very, very slowly. Over 80,000 homes. And again, People need to remember, you know, you don't have one person per home.
So you have maybe four or five people living in a lot of these homes.
So we're talking still hundreds of thousands of people that are being affected. And the NES, National Electric Service, keeps saying, oh, yeah, we've restored power to 7,000 homes in the last 24 hours.
Well, at that rate, we're looking at another 10 to 12 days before people see their power restored.
So people are getting frustrated. They're increasingly getting angry and they're asking questions about. Three different, I guess, levels of incompetence by the Electric Service. First, the lack of preparation on the front end. They knew the storm prediction.
They were not staging properly the number of linemen. You have other electric utilities in the surround counties around Nashville that were staging more linemen, more preparation than Nashville did with a lot more service outlets to have to deal with. And then on Saturday, when the storm hit, it was apparent that this was bigger and worse than they had anticipated. They still did not respond properly to get more linemen, more people to cut down trees and deal with the the devastation that was already being wrought. It took literally several days for them to increase the number of linemen, utility workers from about 300 to where it's now about 900 or 1,000.
And there are reports that they were turning down assistance from other utility companies that could have helped. Steve, hold tight. Pamela, you're saying you're agreeing with Steve here. Are you seeing the same thing? Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, there have been lots of reports and lots of firsthand people that I have heard on different radio stations and TV stations here in Nashville of linemen saying they were turned away, linemen from other areas saying that they were wanting to help and were told by NES we don't need you. And so, I mean, that's absolutely egregious. The other thing, too, is that when you dive into this, they being Nashville Electric Service. came up short in twenty twenty five for the tree maintenance that they were scheduled to do.
So they didn't do half of what they were scheduled to do and come to find out they weren't even scheduling enough because they wanted to, quote, Save the trees. And I'm not joking on that. That has become a bit of a scandal here in Nashville as well. Steve can attest to that. Yes, Steve.
Yeah, we we literally have the tree hugging CEO and president Uh you know Teresa Royals Alpen of the NES. bragging just a few months ago that we were going to protect the canopy, protect the trees rather than cutting back the limbs that were overhanging power lines. And I was driving around yesterday, we've got a story up at TriStarDaily. com showing you still have tree limbs, overhanging lines That still are at threat of falling and collapsing and creating more power outages. And again, they did not cut down the trees or cut down the limbs that were threatening power lines because, as Pamela pointed out, they wanted to protect the trees.
Literally, tree huggers have exacerbated this problem. You know, Pamela, there's reporting out there that the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is now claiming that Nashville Electric Service, which is the power company there, declined offers of help from multiple union crews. Is that true? Are you hearing those reports as well? Hearing those reports as well.
NES is denying that, but I mean, who you. At this point, here are you going to believe? Because if that were not true, they would have a lot more people helping, union or otherwise, a lot more people would be here helping to try to get that power restored.
So, yeah, that is absolutely the rumor, if you will. And I think just the facts on the ground just prove that that's got to be true. And 517, Next Bill's Fox Channel, news channel, WKRN 7, or WCTV 17. Has the receipts. They have emails confirming this as well.
So now we have NES compounding it, and some of the union workers there saying, oh, no, it's not true. Channel 17 has the receipt. Steve, real quick here, I'm curious about the outlying areas because you have, I mean, Nashville, Davidson County, deep blue, like Memphis. But what about the suburbs where maybe you have Republicans controlling those areas, those communities? Are similar conditions or are things different?
These term conditions have been the same, or at least in Franklin, Brentwood, to a summer level, even worse with a large number of trees causing problems. But they've been served by Middle Tennessee Electric, who put out more linemen per capita than NES did. And the areas in the surrounding counties that are still having problems, I know Sumner County, parts of Williamson County, are those served by Nashville Electric Service.
So it's not just the incompetence of the mayor and the NES folks. And by the way, the mayor held a separate press conference from NES yesterday, trying to distance himself from the incompetence that he's been a part of. But the Nashville mayor, our far left liberal mayor, is the one who's now trying to distance himself from the disaster he helped create. But in the surrounding counties, they're doing much better than where we're depending on NES. I'm still out of power.
We're day six. I talked with Senator Bill Haggerty yesterday. They're telling him it may be another five or six days. Till his house gets power. Wow.
So you know it's bad if the senators don't have power. I mean, let's just get real for a second, Pamela. I mean, from you know, and Pamela, I know you cover a lot of entertainment news and the entertainment industry in Middle Tennessee and Nashville, Nash Vegas. What is the impact to all of the musicians and those concert halls?
Well, I mean the impact is huge because you don't have people going to these clubs. To go hear their music.
So they're not getting, I mean, they get paid by the gig, right? And so your entire music community at this point is shut down. There's no power in some places. And if there is power there, the musicians themselves are having a hard time getting to those gigs.
So it's a huge impact. Not only on that, but the gig economy when you're talking about Uber, when you're talking about Lyft, when you're talking about any kind of 1099, if you will, employment, it's heavily impacted at this point. You got to get the power back on, first of all, to save lives. And then to save your your income. Absolutely.
Steve Gell tries to entertainers are suffering like the rest of us. One of the biggest beneficiaries right now, Todd and Pam, is the hotel industry because people who are without power are either huddling in 32 degree temperatures in their homes or they've moved into hotels. I'm downtown at the embassy suites near Vanderbilt. It's like snow camp. I mean, there are dozens of kids.
I've seen more of these golden doodles. It's one of the few hotels that allows animals.
So people have moved into the hotels and are filling the hotels to capacity and to their credit. A lot of the hotels have offered cut rates. But keep in mind that again, back to our blue Nashville mayor. Freddie O'Connell, they raised the hotel motel taxes just a year or so ago dramatically to build the new Titan Stadium.
So it was intended to punish tourists It's now punishing residents who are not only suffering from the ineptitude of NES, but also the higher taxes that Nashville imposed on hotels to punish tourists that are now punishing residents. All right. And if I may real quick, you both know this. When you're talking about hotel rooms in the downtown area, they're expensive anyway. And then you add tax onto that.
Some people are paying $300 a night Just to be able to stay warm and stay alive. That's, I mean, that's outrageous to me. All right, guys, we're going to leave it there. Steve Gill, Pamela Fur, Steve with TriStarDaily.com, Pambela with Americans for Prosperity Tennessee. Stay warm, and I hope the lights come back on, guys.
Yes. Amen. All right. Folks, got to take a quick break here. 901-260-5926.
Coming up, we're going to have the very latest on the breaking news. Don Lemon has been arrested by federal authorities. Should they throw the book at him? We're going to take your calls on that. 901-260-5926.
Let's check in with Aiden Pettit standing by with a look at your entertainment report. All right, the breaking news: Don Lemon arrested in Los Angeles, expected in court this morning. And no doubt, we'll be keeping you updated throughout the day. Right here on the Mighty 990, we will have full coverage on my national show, which you can listen to or watch at 11 o'clock right here on the Mighty 990 AM 107.9 FM.
So, over on my Newsmax show, we had a wild conversation about my idea to help all of these far-left female activists. Find husbands so they won't be so angry at the world. Let's take a listen to that conversation. Mary, you know my heart here, and I just want to help people. And I feel bad for these GOGs, I call them gals of girth.
So I'm thinking about starting a life coach, a nonprofit life coach program. To help these gals find husbands, learn how to bake a casserole. What say you? Why would you do that to men? Do you hate them?
What? This is a horrify idea. Why? This is a punishment. You should, first of all, so the left is fascinating because I have no idea what's happening with these women at all.
Like, none. I got nothing on this. I've been trying to noodle this one out for a while. But have you noticed on the left, the women are manlier than the men? Right, so why would you torture the men on the left?
Why would you torture any of them? None of them want to get married to each other, and for good reason. The women want to hang with their people, and the men, I don't know what they're doing, but the women tend to hang around together, they don't want men. That group, I know some of them who are in that group, they're either never married or had a marriage that went south really badly. And now you're right, they hate men.
So, um, the only way that I think you should start this is if you want to fail just spectacularly, Kate, what say you? I still think this is a pretty good idea, Kate. What say you? No.
So, I don't mean to pull out the social scientist card, but I'm going to pull it out right here because I've spent a lot of time trying to analyze this. You know, I spent a lot of time living in California. I also used to have crazy colored hair, the piercings, the tattoos.
Well, I still got the tattoos. They don't go away. They're permanent kids. Don't get them. But here's what I found: all of my crazy, lefty, liberal friends.
All of them made that switch, a heavy switch to the other side. Never went back. It never goes the other way, right? Like, you don't have someone who's conservative who goes to the blue-pink hair side. But all the women who really made that switch are all now incredible mothers.
So, yes, I do think it's a man thing, but I don't think it's just sort of like any man. What I did, which I thought was very sensible. I started looking at the men in California and realized that most of them were kind of useless. They lived in cities. They were useless.
They couldn't really do anything. They would take their cars to some other guy to fix them. We had this guy, Gavin Newsome, who was in charge. You guys might have heard of him. Terrible representation of a man.
Terrible. Just useless. He's all pairing teeth.
So, what I did was, I got out of there. I moved to the south. Guess what happened? Year later, I had already met my now husband two years after that.
Well, three years after that, I can't even remember how many years it's been now because it's all blurred into one. Pregnant, happy, thriving.
So, get these women out of the cities, get them a nice southern gentleman. Get them pregnant and make them realize they're not the most important people in the whole universe. They're a bunch of narcissists. And get them back to their natural hair color or blonde. I like this.
You know, one or the other. I like this. And Miri, here's the deal. And I think Kate brings up a good point. You don't want a guy that's going to moisturize or exfoliate.
No, those are, you want a guy that's going to be able to feel dress some sort of like wild critter in the woods. Yes. That's the kind of guy you need. It is, but now my husband can, my husband cannot field dress anything in the woods, okay? But he's very handy.
He can do a lot of things around the house. He can do stuff with the cars. He could do like a lot of really handy stuff.
So, so that's fantastic. But I want to know where Kay's theory, what do we do with the aging hippies that are out there all the time? You see, like that over 60 crowd. And when I was living in DC, I played a game, aging hippie or homeless, because you can't tell the difference.
So they're wearing the state.
Someone told them in 1968 that that hair looked good on them. And so they're still wearing it. And they all dress in the Army fatigues, right? And their hair is all out there like Bernie Sanders, like they combed it with a balloon. And so what do we do with them?
We can't get them pregnant because, and the other, yeah, you can't get them pregnant unless there's a star in the east.
So what do we do with them, Kay? I guess that's the question. That is a great question. Honestly, I think you give him a bunch of legal weed and give them to the conservatives and let them do. Have you guys seen Landman?
I think you do what Tommy Norris just did with his dad, right? Have him come live with the family. You bring in that very southern wife. Or maybe it doesn't even have to be a southern wife. Maybe it just needs to be a sensible wife, right?
Like a nice conservative wife who's going to give him a lot of love, a little bit of flirtationship. And you know, when they start talking. Like they start with their commie wittering. You just go, All right. That's just a smidge of the interview.
We have all of that on my website, ToddSterns.com. If you want to go and watch the entire video, Kay Smythe and Mary Walter, and it was a pretty insane conversation. All right. Again, folks, we are following some breaking news out of. Los Angeles, where Don Lemon, the ex CNN host, arrested on federal charges.
We have a story up at ToddSterns.com. We understand he was taken into custody by federal agents last night While where he was covering the Grammy Awards. His attorney says this is an unprecedented attack on the First Amendment and transparent attempt to distract attention from the many crises facing the Trump administration. They're saying it is, they're going to fight the charges vigorously. Here's the deal.
You cannot storm any church in America and disrupt their worship services. You can't do that. Don Lemon was not there as a journalist, he was there as a participant and, quite frankly, an organizer. And I can't wait to see two things: number one, the perp walk, and number two, the mugshot. We'll be posting those on kwamradio.com.
All right, folks, we've got to scoot out of here. It's been a weird week, a wild week. Here's hoping for a better weekend, everybody. Get out there. You be safe, Memphis.
