This holiday season reached for the one butter that never disappoints, Kerrygold. Made with milk from grass-fed cows on Irish family farms, it's rich, creamy, and perfect for baking. Whether browning butter for cookies or crafting the flakiest pie crust, Kerrygold's high butterfat content makes all the difference in flavor and texture. Holiday treats will taste extraordinary. Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch.

That's us, that's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starks.

Well, President Trump is holding court at a cabinet meeting at this hour. Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Great to have you with us today. And there's a lot of news, a lot of news happening.

And I want to start with this crazy story out of Tennessee and the 7th Congressional District. This is the only thing that people are talking about in politics right now.

So aside from the fact there was a major meeting of Republicans today at the Capitol Club, and there's a tie-in to what's happening in Middle Tennessee right now.

So the Republicans are panicking here, and I don't, look, I don't, unless I'm just missing this, I don't see the need for them to be panicked right now. This is a congressional district that has been in the Republican hands for over 20 years. President Trump won this district by 22 points in the presidential election. And Matt Van Epps, who is the nominee, the Republican nominee, according to the polling data, is only ahead by two percentage points. And people are very afraid in the Republican world that this guy is going to lose.

And it just seems to me the Republicans are playing this all wrong unless the internals are giving them a different picture of what's going on. And if that's the case, then this will have ramifications. This race will have ramifications across the nation. Let me explain why. This guy's going to have to win by at least 10 points.

And if he doesn't, it tells us, and we'll get a good indication of exit polling data and all of that, hopefully. Again, this is a special election, so there's not going to be a lot of data coming out as far as why people are going and voting today. But let me just back up here and ask you, ladies and gentlemen, the state of the Republican Party right now, let's take Donald Trump out of it for just a moment, but the state of the Republican Party, is it good or bad? Is the Republican Party in trouble in your estimation, or are things good? Are things, dare I say, hunky-dory?

And I'm just telling you that the Republicans are all over the place, and they're panicked, and I don't think they need to be, unless they need to be. Does that make any sense? Dylan, you're scratching your head. I know it sounds confusing, but again, it just seems to me that the Republicans are very concerned about the economy. And that the economy may be, in fact, driving people to the polls in the 7th Congressional District of Tennessee.

And that this particular race could be a referendum on the economy right now. And if that's the case, well, it could be a little dicey today.

So here's the deal. If you're a Republican, and this is a super majority Republican district, go vote. That's all you have to do. You've got the numbers. You've got the people.

Just get out and vote. The problem is the candidate, Matt Van Epps, and the entire strategy here has not been to promote this combat veteran who has served in the military honorably, a family man, a young guy who served his country, that hasn't been the narrative. The only thing that we know about Matt Van Epps is that he really doesn't like Afton Bain and that she's a lunatic, which is true, by the way. She's slap crazy. But again, people are not prone to go out.

And we've got a lot of bad weather out there today. There was a snowflake outside. Ladies and gentlemen, there was frost on the pork butt in Memphis, Tennessee. I mean, it's cold.

So people are not prone to get out. And the question is, who is more motivated? And I think people who are Democrats are more motivated to get out and vote today than the Republicans are. There was something that Afton Bain said yesterday. And Afton Bain is the radical progressive leftist.

She is AOC with blonde hair. We've told you about her. She actually hates Nashville. She hates country music. And she hates Jesus.

and she's just weird, man, just weird. But beyond all of that, she said something yesterday that made me stop. I forget what I was doing, and I heard this, and I stopped, and I played it back. And she said something that is true. She said all the Republicans are doing are talking about all the crazy things I've said, but they're not talking about the one thing that people really care about, and that's affordability.

And I stopped dead in my tracks, and I thought, uh-oh, that's not good, because you've got a lot of people out there, and what have they been talking about forever in a day? They've been talking about the affordability issue. And what has the president been saying? What has the cabinet been saying? They're saying the economy is great.

You people don't know what you're talking about. You've got to take one for the team. If you're going to the grocery store and the prices haven't come down, just be quiet. Go about your business. But the economy is great.

And don't you say anything otherwise. And in reality, in many places, the economy is not great yet. It's getting better. And I do think that things are going to turn around sometime between now and the midterms. They have to.

But if that's why people are going out and voting today, then it could get dicey for the Republicans. But you can't have it both ways, right? I've got all these Republican operatives, and I've been getting a lot of hate mail from the Republicans and hate text from Republicans. And their whole thing is, well, there you go again, stars. You're just not loyal to your party.

Who do you think you are?

Well, I am loyal to my party. I'm just trying to help my party not screw things up. Not my fault that you had a candidate that nobody knew. Not my fault that your candidate didn't even get out there and campaign until the last couple of weeks.

So there are a lot of variables here. And then it was Matt Van Epps himself who announced that the election today would be a bellwether election. it would be a referendum on Donald J. Trump. That came out of Matt Van Epps.

And you know what he did? He energized every single radical Democrat in Nashville. And shockingly, there are a lot of them because they all moved over from California. Screwed up a great town. Nashville used to be a fine town.

And now you got the bridesmaids running around on those little bicycle contraptions. And I did agree with Afton Bain on that. She took issue with the bridesmaids. But I'm telling you right now, folks, there are a lot of nervous Republicans out there today. And I'm just curious, are you one of them?

Our telephone number, by the way, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. And here's why the national implications are there. If this rock-solid red plus 22 Republican district is anywhere near close, Let's say it's a five point. He wins by five points.

And again, I think the guy's going to win. I really do. But if it's five points, that puts every single purple district and every single light red district in the nation on alert, because that means that we could have Democrats in those districts that are actually a lot closer, that those could be up for play in the midterm elections. But I'm telling you that the economy is on people's minds right now. And that's why President Trump, if you go to Fox News right now, this is the big headline in all caps in red, President Trump praises economic successes.

Let all the money go to the people.

So the president, and we'll play some of this audio. We'll be pulling audio from the cabinet meeting throughout the next hour or so. Also, the president's expected to make some sort of announcement at 2 o'clock today, 2 o'clock Eastern, from the Roosevelt Room, and we'll keep you updated on that. That's the one with the fireplace. Isn't that where Jimmy Carter used to hold his fireside chants?

Hello, I'm Jimmy Carter. I'm wearing a sweater because we can't afford to pay the heat bill in the White House. And, well, you're just going to have to suck it up, America. Remember that? Oh, geez, those days.

I remember as a kid having to sit in the gas lines for that. Anyway, President Trump's going to be talking to the nation from that. He won't be wearing a sweater, I can tell you that much.

So anyway, we'll be taking your calls on this, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. Now, Nalan Haley is out there. That's Nikki's boy. And he is the exact opposite of his mother.

So Nalen Haley is out there. He's a young guy, I guess in his, what, early 20s? And he was on Fox and Friends earlier today, and he was going off on Congress. Take a listen to cut number eight. At the end of the day, the goal of every generation is to leave it better than you found it, right?

And not only are we not doing that, we're going in the opposite direction. It's getting worse. I think the first step our leaders need to do is admit that we have a problem. And right now I haven't heard any Republican leaders talk about the issues that young people are facing. Congress has been nothing more than a glorified nursing home.

They either don't know the problems that we're facing or they're ignoring it. And to be honest, I don't know which one's worse. You look at jobs. One third of recent college graduates are unemployed. My friend group graduated all with great degrees with and great schools.

And not one of them has a job, not one.

So it's frustrating because they did everything that they were supposed to do. They put in the time, the effort, the money to get educated, and they don't have a job to show for it. They have to compete with foreign workers who are willing to work for half their salary and AI, which is a supercomputer. You know, so how can we compete with that? You look at the housing market and the average first time home buyer in America is 40 years old now.

Five years ago, it was 33. My parents bought their first house for ninety thousand dollars in the late 90s. And now it's probably worth over four hundred thousand dollars.

So we're facing a lot of issues. And, you know, I think some things that we need to do is we need to ban H-1B visas, make sure corporations are hiring a certain number of Americans and make sure they act in the interest of the American people, not just for themselves. I think that we need to stop subsidizing illegal immigrants for housing instead, maybe look into subsidizing Americans for first time homebuyers for housing and not allow corporations in the Chinese Communist Party to buy entire neighborhoods of single family homes.

So, Nalen, you hit a lot of points there. And I think one of the things that has not been addressed by a lot of Republicans is they feel like a lot of young people just want free stuff. But you're speaking directly against it. You're saying these young people actually work very hard. They've gotten a degree, but they feel like the American dream isn't attainable to them.

What would you say about that? Right. No, that's absolutely correct. It feels like it's it's getting less and less attainable with each passing day. And look, I don't like socialism, but we also need to acknowledge that you can be against free market neoliberalism and not be subscribed to Mom Donnie style socialism.

Capitalism is a very broad thing. We need it to work for the average everyday American, not just for the elites and corporations. And when you look at Gen Z, over half of Gen Z has positive views of socialism. And it's because socialists, the Democratic socialists are actually reaching out to young people.

So if the Republicans do that, which they need to do, it may stop a lot of kids my age from becoming socialists and from going to the Democrats. Yeah, it's I mean, the kid's making a lot of sense here. He's not a kid. He's a man, a young man. This guy is making a lot of sense.

And I think he is he is honing in on what he is hearing from all of his friends. this guy in college, he's hanging out with his college buddies, and this is what they're talking about. And they see there is a massive affordability gap in the country right now. And the fact of the matter is you could be working two full-time jobs. You could be working your butt off and you still would not be able to make enough money to put a down payment on a home, which is something that our parents and our grandparents were able to do.

All right, we got to take a break. 901-260-5926. You say, Todd, this sounds doom and gloom. No, it's not doom and gloom. But you know how it is with the Republicans.

You've got to shake them up every now and again and get them right back on track. Otherwise, they just keep lurching to the left. And we do not want the Republicans to do that. Look, the reason why Mike Johnson was in Tennessee yesterday? The reason why he was boots on the ground is that Mike Johnson understands that his job is on the line.

If the Democrats win this race today, they're down to two. Two. Marjorie Taylor Greene goes away in January, down to one. And the rumblings, and we told you about this a couple of weeks ago, So the rumblings are that there could be more Republican resignations, and if that's the case, Democrats will take control of the House of Representatives. We can't let that happen.

We have to stop that from happening. All right, hang tight. We'll be right back. Cold comes swiftly to Ukraine, and for elderly Jews like Olga, it can be deadly. Olga is 79 years old.

She lives in a small village where there she has no indoor plumbing, bathroom, or reliable heating. Her meager pension is not enough to cover food, medicine, and heat. But thanks to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Olga received a nourishing food box, emergency lighting, and a warm blanket. This aid is a life-saving gift for someone like Olga. The visit from fellowship staff reminded her that she is not forgotten.

Now, as another brutal winter begins, thousands of elderly Jews like Olga are praying for a miracle. And you can be that miracle. Through a special matching grant, your gift today has twice the impact, up to the first $50,000.

So don't delay. Your gift today will help provide the life-saving food and hope that Olga and many like her so desperately need. To donate, visit urgentifcj.org. That's one word, urgentifcj.org. or call now 866-338-IFCJ.

That's 866-338-4325. All right, President Trump holding court there in the White House with the entire cabinet, the full cabinet there, and the president saying that 2025 is a year that will go down as the most consequential and successful first year of any administration. And I completely agree with that assessment. My only concern here is Congress. And Congress has not delivered on codifying President Trump's consequential and successful agenda.

They have got to do that, even if it means staying in Washington until Christmas Day. But I'm curious, ladies and gentlemen, do you agree with President Trump's assessment here that his administration thus far, the first year of his term in office, is the most consequential and successful first year of any administration at all? We're going to be taking your calls on that coming up. Again, our telephone number, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.

pete hankseth is talking around out right now our war secretary you know i will get into this a little bit later on and i want to explain what's really going on with the the outrage being directed at pete hankseth you know the reality here and and by the way he's getting it from democrats and republicans and in my in my estimation here this is all unwarranted seems to me that if you are an enemy combatant, you get what's coming to you. And Hegseth is already out there saying that a lot of the reporting is fake news regarding the blowing up of these cartel drug boats that are coming from Venezuela.

So we'll get into more of that in just a little while. President Trump does seem to be standing alongside Pete Hegseth. As a matter of fact, he's literally seated right next to him at the cabinet meeting today.

So we'll be taking your calls on that. And whether or not you think the president's done a terrific job thus far. I mean, everything the president has said he would do, he has done so far. I would like to see the Department of Education continue the process of dismantling itself. We also need to be defunding these schools.

And like, for example, Northwestern losing hundreds of millions of dollars in funding.

Well, they've said, okay, we're making these changes. We're going to do away with our DEI policies and all that kind. And that's great. But there still ought to be a penalty. And what we ought to do is say, okay, instead of just giving them the money that we withheld, it's like, you don't get any of that.

You're not going to get a single penny until you start correcting your ways. And if these colleges understand that there is going to be a price to pay, there is going to be a penalty, then maybe, just maybe, if we hit them in the pocketbook, they'll see the error of their ways. We shall see. All right. Hang tight, everybody.

Got to take a quick break here. 901-260-5926. Also, head over to our website. We have a crazy story from Oregon where they're quizzing sixth graders on gender fluidity. You're going to have to read that.

It's nice to be with you. Welcome to the final cabinet meeting of 2025, a year that will go down as the most consequential and successful first year of any administration. They're saying that, not me. Oh, I say it too, actually. A lot of people are saying it.

And a lot of that is the men and women in the cabinet. With the new and improved cabinet room, I might add, we took pictures down from the vaults, the vaults downstairs, we looked at pictures that haven't been exposed to the world for, in many cases, over 100 years. We brought them up and we're using them as they should be used. But the cabinet room looks beautiful like it should now. The Oval Office looks beautiful like it should.

It was not. It was like the rest of the country. It was in disrepair. One year ago, our country was dead. Then said to me by many leaders, we had a dead country.

Now we have the hottest country anywhere in the world. It's true. The hottest country anywhere in the world. Think of that. In four long years of the Biden administration, there were just one trillion dollars of new investments in the United States in 10 months, we've secured commitments of over $18 trillion.

So they had in one year less than they had less than $1 trillion. That's in a period of four years. Think of it. Four years, they had less than a trillion. In 10 months, we have more than 18 trillion.

Is that right, Scott? It's even going to be higher than that. It'll be higher. and going after. Wow.

You know, the president, not only he's talking about how hot the country is, we have a sexy country, ladies and gentlemen. We really do. I mean, we're the most beautiful country on the face of the earth, no doubt about that. And the president's right. I mean, we're just kicking butt here, and I love it.

I think it's just a brilliant thing that President Trump has done, and there is a lot of reason to celebrate, And I'm glad we are.

So well done, Mr. President. Again, the economy stuff is going to work itself out. I'm not really concerned about that. The only thing that we need tweaking, that needs tweaking rather, is the narrative here and the way that's communicated to the American people.

And especially to, you know, when I say younger Americans, I'm talking about people that are in their late 20s, early 30s who are trying to, you know, buy that first house. They're trying to start living that American dream, and the messaging needs to be very direct to those folks. Look, the American people are smart. They just need to lay out the facts, lay it all out there, and I think people are going to understand. By the way, I want to give a shout-out to our brand-new affiliate, radio station KODL, in beautiful Vidal's, Oregon.

Cole Malcolm is the operations manager, program director. Al Wynn is the owner of that great radio station, and we welcome yet another radio station broadcasting the show in the beautiful state of Oregon.

So you guys are under the gun all the time. By the way, if you are listening to us on KODL right now in the Dells and you get on the program, we're going to hook you up with a copy of my brand-new book, Star Spangled Blessings, Devotions for Patriots. You just have to get through our great call screeners, 901-260-5926. Our number, that's 901-260-5926.

Okay, this is a weird pivot. And, Dylan, I don't know how else to pivot, but this is a great little story. And we're going to be slammed with politics all day. But this is making the rounds on social media. a man made a pizza order for his pregnant wife and people are very confused by the order and i'm looking through and i'm not quite sure what's what's offensive about the pizza but anyway this guy orders a pizza for his pregnant wife and you know the women when they're pregnant they they like to eat weird things like some people eat pickles and dylan you you know nothing about this right now not yet but you will i've heard i've heard horror story i've heard stories from my mother she like she think i think it was pickles it was something like sweet and also sour it had to be like paired with something else yeah that makes sense but so you're gonna have to get you just need to be prepared yes because it'll be the craziest thing i bet like hard-boiled eggs and pickles or something every morning every morning so anyway this guy he orders a pizza online and i gotta read off that what was on the piece it was a large hand-tossed pizza 17.99 that's not too bad of a price you get she wanted triple pepperoni this is when you hear what she wanted this is a really good price for a pizza triple pepperoni extra cheese oh you got to have a lot of pepperoni i hate it this is my one complaint about papa john's is there skimpy with the uh with the toppings yeah i've noticed that too uh banana peppers i'm not a big fan okay light jalapenos half chicken half mushroom half caramelized onions half olives light sauce so that's the um that's the pizza order are we working through every single slice here that's what it seems right exactly so so anyway so then the guy because you know if you're a guy you take your pizza order kind of seriously right you don't want to be you don't want to be the guy that orders like pineapple on your pizza right that's forbidden exactly ham and ham and pineapple i actually left a football party once because of that i'm like i'm good i'm going back home uh so anyway he wrote in the customer request you're allowed to write something in customer requests, like extra garlic.

I do like Papa John's with the garlic sauce. That's good stuff. He said, bro, this is great. Bro, yes, I know this looks insane, and you're probably like, who is this dude? I'm the dude who has a very pregnant wife.

I'm done questioning what she wants. I'm scared of her, and honestly, you should be too. I promise this is the order. Thank you and Godspeed. That's a good husband right there.

Yeah, a smart husband, too. Very smart. You wonder what led up to that, though. That's what I'm trying to figure out. They're probably going back and forth about the olives.

Do you really want the olives, babe? Or do you want the onions? Are you sure? I want every slice to be different. I'm pregnant.

And that's pretty much what it is. I mean, like half the pizza. I feel bad for the person putting it all together. Yeah, I know. That's probably the busiest night.

Wow. Hope they got a good tip. I'm sure they did.

So a woman weighed in on this and she says, I was sick, sick, sick, and could only eat egg McMuffins and plain mashed potatoes from KFC for months. Wow. So specific. Once my husband thought he was being sweet and brought home garlic mashed potatoes with gravy from claim jumper I let him live Oh my God Ladies is this true We have great ladies that listen to the Todd Stearns Radio Show But I do wonder, once you get pregnant, does, like, something happen inside of you? Like, mentally, not, you know.

Does something get triggered? Linda writes in, I was so sick with my second child that I ended up in the ER, severely dehydrated. After that, I could only eat Wendy's and dry salad. Ugh. Then she was able to eat turkey slices until the last month.

I don't think I touched that food again. I understand. That's crazy. Anyway, you got to give the guy props, though. Oh, here we go.

Lillian says, as a pizza maker, this isn't that weird. If I got this ticket, it would be made. And I have to imagine the pizza place would have made the pizza. My mom, that's how I got born, by the way. My mom was very concerned that I was going to be born on Halloween, and she didn't want to have a Halloween baby.

She was really superstitious about that.

So anyway, she made Dad take her to Shakey's Pizza on Elvis Presley Boulevard, and she ate an entire large pepperoni pizza, extra pepperoni, and went into labor. that night true story and out came todd and i love pepperoni pizza of course i love it indeed so there you go the whole pizza was large by the way this guy ordered for his wife like she probably and i'm just assuming here she probably ate that whole pizza oh yeah that was if this is her cravings she needed that whole thing because you don't want to grab the slice that she really really wanted Yeah. Right? Maybe she probably didn't want the olives. I'm just against olives.

But. Wow. Oh, Catherine says, I liked spinach, tomatoes, and cucumber on my meatball sub from Wawa. Cucumber. That's rather specific.

Yeah, I don't know about that. I don't know about that. I can't wait. I can't wait for this day for me. It's going to happen.

It's going to happen. You're going to be running errands. You're going to be heading down to super low. Oh, yes. Get that great part.

If she wants chitlins, I don't know if I can buy those for her because that's what you're going to buy at Super Low. Yeah, you have to draw the line. Yeah, somewhere. It's head of the household. You've got to draw the line.

Babe, they're in blocks. I can't buy this for you. We will not have chitlins. Actually, it's chitterlings. That's how it's spelled.

Well, chitlins is how it's south. All right, there you go, ladies.

So hats off to this guy, bro. you know it's going to be good when the message starts off with bro and you feel for this guy he's probably like in his early 20s he doesn't know you know and he's just trying to stay alive he wants to stay alive long enough to see his newborn child all right we got to take a break here 901-260-5926 our telephone number that's 901-260-5926 this is the todd stern show Hackensack Meridian Children's Health makes healthy happen. I don't want to hear what pregnant women want to eat. Stick to the news, please.

Well, Donna, if you've listened to this program for any stretch of time, you know that we love to bounce around to different stories. Otherwise, people, you know, you sort of get into a routine.

So we always like to throw people for a twist.

So that's why we talked about what pregnant women eat. Chill out, Donna. It's going to be okay. It's going to be okay. Well, it may not be okay.

according to Speaker Mike Johnson, Jake Sherman over at Punchbowl News, posting this on X just a few moments ago, the speaker, you know, the Republicans are all meeting closed doors. And so they're leaking out all this intel. And Speaker Johnson said this, hey, if you're, this is not good. Hey, if you're in Tennessee, 7th District, Nashville, Well, 14 counties, go vote today. It matters.

And here we go. Special elections are strange animals, and anything can happen when you're in a deep red district. No, all right, let me stop there. No, Mr. Speaker, if it's a deep red district, nothing's going to happen.

Let me continue.

Sometimes people assume that the Republican, the conservatives will win, and you cannot assume that because anything can happen. And do you know why we don't assume, Dylan? Do you know why? Because it makes asphalt. Because it makes an ass out of you and me.

That's what it is. But Mike Johnson didn't say that because, you know, he's a preacher or something.

So there you go. Then he says, so we encourage everybody to go out there and make that happen. Oh, boy. All right. I just can't let my mind go there.

I'm thinking positive thoughts here. And we've got to pull out a win. I don't care if it's a one-point win. We've got to pull out a win for the Republicans here. Otherwise, it's going to be so bad.

It's going to be so bad. Even Tim Burchett is out there. And just reminding people, please do not let the left-wing psycho win. That's the Democrat, by the way. Her name is Afton Bain.

Who names their child that? I mean, is that like a family name? Afton Bain, A-F-T-Y-A-N, B-E-H-N. I had a great-grandfather named Daisy. But that was, you know, back in the 1800s.

What are you going to do?

So there you go. Well, fingers crossed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Tennessee. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

So 901-260-5926, our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926.

So just a few moments ago at the cabinet meeting, we understand that Kristi Noem made some comments. And I want to share this with you. Again, this coming from our news partners at Newsmax. Kristi Noem said, I just met with the president. I am recommending a full travel ban on every country that's been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies.

Our forefathers built this nation on blood, sweat, and the unyielding love of freedom, not for foreign invaders to slaughter our heroes, suck dry our hard-earned tax dollars, or snatch the benefits owed to Americans. we don't want them not one and so there is some indication that president trump could actually implement this full travel ban look i think this is a brilliant idea and i just i think we ought to go a step further though and we ought to shut down all immigration just shut it all down nobody loses their spot in line but shut it all down we did this in the aftermath of 9-11 remember we had all the airplanes up in the sky. Nobody knew who was a friendly, who wasn't.

So what did we do? We shut for the first time in American history, we shut down American airspace, made all the planes land. And what did that do?

Well, number one, it ensured that no more planes flew into buildings. It made sure that the jihadist would not be able to fly a jetliner into another high rise.

So here we are. And this, I think, honestly, from an immigration standpoint, is another 9-11. And I say, you know, what better way to figure out all of this mess than to stop the number of immigrants coming in and start deporting all of these people that are in our country illegally. And we've still got to get our numbers up there, but we've got to deport all the illegals. And I think we also have to take a very long, hard look at some of these people from other countries, whether they be in Congress or they're just a regular Ahmed working a job down at the bodega.

And if they are, if they're hating on America and if they're actively working against our way of life, we have to send them back to their home countries. And that is, it's going to be an ugly thing, but it's going to have to be a necessary thing.

Meanwhile, you've got all these churches out there, and these churches are saying, well, you know, we have a moral responsibility to care for people from other nations. Who said that? Where is that? You're telling me that we have a moral responsibility to care for other people while American people are suffering? Here's a thought.

let the Ukrainian people take care of the Ukrainians, let the Russians take care of the Russians, let the Americans take care of the Americans. What's wrong with that? Don't we have a moral responsibility to take care of Americans first? And I've heard all the arguments, and there are a lot of left-wing publications out there, Christianity Today and a lot of others, and they're saying, well, you are a nationalist. You're a Christian nationalist, and you're putting country ahead of God.

Absolutely not. I've never believed there was anything wrong with being a Christian who is putting the needs of American people first. And once we do that, we can help other people.

So I appreciate what Secretary Noem is saying here, and I completely agree with her. I think we ought to shut it all down. A full travel ban from all of these countries that are bringing very bad people. They're not sending us the best and the brightest. They're opening up the prisons, and they're sending us their bad guys.

That's what's going on here. At the end of the day, it's very simple, ladies and gentlemen. Help Americans first, and if there's anything left over, well, we can help those countries. But until then, stay where you are. All right, hang tight.

Got to take a quick break. Toddstearns.com is our website. Head over there right now. Check out all of our great stories. We'll be right back, everybody.

Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-toting, Bible-clinging, deplorable America. That's us, that's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starnes. Oh, yeah.

Well, hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. If you are in Tennessee and you're in the 7th Congressional District, go and vote. Whatever you do today, get out there and vote. Great to have you with us, everybody.

And there's a lot going on. John Rich, our good friend, great country music artist, a great American patriot, is going to be joining us in just a little while. And looking forward to talking with John. He has a brand new song out that is just blowing up the internet and just remarkable.

So looking forward to our conversation. That's coming up in just under a half an hour from now. And we'll also play you some of that new song that John has written. He's got a lot to talk about today. You know, it's interesting as we look at what's happening in public schools across the nation, And it seems as though the election of Donald Trump really emboldened a lot of these sex and gender revolutionaries.

And they have doubled down now in these classrooms. And we're getting reports of children, in some cases as young as kindergarten, learning about transgenderism. You're about to hear the voice of a man. This is actually a man, all right? And he's reading a storybook to kindergartners.

And the whole point of this, he is with the Seattle Public School System. And Seattle Public Schools, they're now grooming kindergartners with the transgender ideology. And so they have these storybooks, and they're reading these storybooks to the children. I want you to take a listen to what the kindergartners are being exposed to in Seattle, Washington. Hi there, everyone.

My name is Brennan Hamm, and I'm the health education specialist and trainer for Seattle Public Schools. I prefer my name to pronouns, but anything said with respect is great.

So they, she, and he all work for me. I'm very excited to be here with you today because we are going to read a fabulous book called Introducing Teddy.

Now, before we begin, I would like to cover some important words that will really, really help us understand this story better. Gender means a person's feeling about being either a boy or a girl, neither, both, or somewhere in between. Gender role means cultural ways about how men and women are supposed to act. Thomas the Teddy took a deep breath. I need to be myself, Errol.

In my heart, I've always known that I'm a girl teddy, not a boy teddy. I wish my name was Tilly, not Thomas. Wow, what courage. Is that why you've been so sad, Errol asked? I don't care if you're a girl teddy or a boy teddy.

What matters to me is that you are my friend. You are the best friend a bear could have, said Tilly. Dylan, I am so creeped out right now. This is insane.

So this guy works for the school district.

So Teddy is the bear. That's not the name of it.

So it's Teddy Bear. And then there's Tilly and Thomas Bear. Is that right? But Thomas the bear thinks he's a Tilly the bear. I'm very confused.

I'm very confused. There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. That's what the grooming looks like. And you say, well, Todd, wait a second. Why is this going on?

Why are they going after the kindergartners?

Well, the reason why is they realized that you have to indoctrinate at very, very young ages. I mean, this is going to, if it's not already happening in preschools, this will happen in preschools. But it's happening in kindergarten all the way through the university level. One parent actually went to her local school board and said, Hey, look, my kid's English class is teaching this nonsense, but they took it a step further. They're actually teaching the children to hide sex from their parents.

Take a listen. I'm here tonight as a concerned parent about things that are happening at Petaluma High School. Recently, my child brought home material, as in homework, from Petaluma High School that was inappropriate and extremely suggestive. This came from her English class. I trust the school to educate and to not turn their English class into a sex and gender studies class.

The book they're currently reading has themes of sex and hiding underage sex from your parents, gender confusion, and body dysmorphia. This is not an isolated incident. Ms. LaShawn has assigned on more than one occasion work centered on sexuality, gender, and politicized themes that do not belong in an English class of minors. There's a clear pattern, and it's hard to see anything but this being intentional.

I did bring this to Principal Napoli, and he told me that you as the board have approved these materials and materials that he actually did not know were being taught in class that his daughter is in by the way. I find this extremely concerning that we were not asked for consent. I've made the decision as a parent to sign my daughter out of sexual education and it's actually just been implemented into her other classes. If consent was asked this would be a different situation. When I addressed the school directly about this.

I was told that I'm the only parent complaining, therefore I'm the problem, essentially. I also emailed a member of the board with a lack of response as well. I find it disturbing, if anything, that when we are, as a parent, choosing to sign our children out of classes that teach this, that the material is just being implemented elsewhere. I think that's a break of trust from the parents, and we trust our children with you every single day. I'm here to draw a line not only for that, but this teacher has also implemented other of her politicized ideology, which I just think does not belong in school at all, let alone in English class.

Having our children do land acknowledgments and letting them know that they're on stolen land. I've had my daughter come home extremely confused on this matter, on why they are being guilted into feeling like they have an issue for just living here and being who they are.

so I would I'm urging the board to look at this material to look into these books I printed the quotes I printed everything for Principal Napoli and I was really made out to be the problem which is why I'm here today so I urge you guys to do something about this to let the parents know that this is the material that's being taught if there is sexual themes I think that it is not your decision to implement that in our children's classrooms. Wow. That's Petaluma, California, by the way.

So you've got Seattle, where they've got perverts and grooming the kindergartners. You've got Petaluma, where they turn English class into sex and gender 101. And then in Watertown, New York, a story that we have up on our website right now, toddstearns.com. A middle school art class at Case Middle School. The students were exposed to pornography, and the school district is very open about this, and the art teacher was placed on administrative leave, but the kids were exposed to graphic artwork from an activist known for his social activism on issues like AIDS.

So you kind of get a pretty good idea of what we're talking about here. It is pretty disgusting debauchery. I can't even begin to even describe some of the images, the sex and the filth that these middle schoolers, 11 and 12 year olds we're talking about, were exposed to. I'll tell you this. I was thinking about having a delicious chili dog today for supper.

I'm not going anywhere around any hot dogs. Not anytime soon after what I saw.

So the parents, they're insanely enraged over all of this.

So they went to the school board, they filed the complaints, and their point is this teacher did a criminal act here. I mean, what the teacher did should have been a crime. Anybody else out there on the streets, you go up and you show these kids these photographs, just like randomly at a mall, you're going to jail. You would have to register as a sex offender.

So the parents have lawyered up here, a number of them, the American Center for Law and Justice, now representing two of the parents. And they say that the teacher actually told the kids in advance, hey, I'm about to show you guys something that's really inappropriate. And when the kid's sort of like, ah, you know, I don't really know about that. I don't think my parents would want us to. No, no, no.

It's okay. Just be mature. That's what the teacher told the kids, to be mature.

So the ACLJ says, the American Center for Law and Justice, says the Watertown City School District failed in its responsibility to protect the children, and they violated the constitutional rights of mommy and daddy. Not only that, they traumatized the kids. I mean, here's the problem. They saw what they saw. You cannot unring that bell.

You can't do it.

So again, going back to Linda McMahon, who's heading up the Department of Education, we got to defund these people. They can't be getting any federal money at all, at all. We've got to start laying down the law here. Let me just say this also. God bless Moms for Liberty.

You ladies, and I know there are some guys that are members of Moms for Liberty. But you ladies, God bless you. God bless you for standing up. Had it not been for the work of Moms for Liberty, a lot of these stories would not be coming to light. But thank goodness that moms have been educated and that moms have now understand what's happening at their kids' local school.

So God bless you, Moms for Liberty, for the great work you're doing. All All right, got to take a break here. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Tom Stern Show.

This is the Tom Stearns Radio Show. By the way, Tim Burchett is fired up, and I know why he's riled up. We're going to play his audio first, and then I'll explain why he may be off on this one. Take a listen. A qualified candidate, a district that Trump won by over 15 points, can't carry this thing.

We're in trouble. Republicans are asleep at the switch. we pay attention to presidents because President Trump is a great president. We should be paying attention to him. But when it gets down to the other races, we forget about it.

We forget Congress. We forget the U.S. Senate. We forget our school boards, our mayors. And then we scratch our heads and wonder, why are taxes so high?

Why are these crazy policies? It's because our own homegrown Marxists are sticking it to us. And we don't have the guts of the gumption to get out of bed and go vote. Forty five percent of evangelical Christians. And I consider myself in that crowd.

30% of the gun owners are not even going to go to the polls. This is what happens when 12% of the population votes. This is what we get. Matt Banette should not even be erased. This lady is a Marxist, and she's not even a friendly Marxist like AOC.

Yeah, look, agree completely with everything that Congressman Birch has said. But here's the problem. And this goes all the way back to last summer at the RNC meeting when behind closed doors, the evangelical voters of the Republican Party were told to sit down and shut the hell up. They were literally bullied into silence by their own party. And we now know that a lot of the issues that were important to evangelicals were watered down as a result of all of that.

And we've had Tony Perkins from Family Research Council on this program to talk about that in great detail. But that's, you know, again, you can't continue to pee on your voters and then expect them, the base of your party, and then expect them to go out in droves.

Now, let me just, I'm going to say this as best as I can here, and I want to get to the phone.

So ladies, hang down. We got some lady callers on. Don't go anywhere. I'm going to get to you in just a moment. But hear me on this.

This is all on the establishment Republicans' fault. They wanted this guy that nobody knew. They wanted him. We had America First candidates. They did not want the America First candidate.

They did not want another Tim Burchett going to Congress from Tennessee.

Now, if you want to talk about why all of this is a mess, let's talk about it. It's Congressman Mark Green, the Republican who resigned from his office. He threw in the towel. Then the Republican governor scheduled the special election right around the holidays. Who does that?

So I don't blame the evangelical voters. They're really getting nervous, folks, and that's what this is all about. They've seen some internal numbers, and the numbers don't look good, and they're trying as best they can to get out the vote. Here's the problem. The people they need to get out and vote are the people that they have dragged through the mud as a party.

And I hope it doesn't come back and bite them in the behind. I really don't. but I'm concerned. I mean, you can hear it in Tim Burchett's voice, the congressman from East Tennessee, very nervous. Let's go to the phone lines, 901-260-5926.

Marie, Moorhead City, North Carolina. Hi, Marie. What's going on? Hi, Todd. Thank you for your candor in making this public because the K-12 schools, they need to be revisionized, and the Department of Education needs to get on top of that.

The only reason that East Tennessee even puts up with West Tennessee is because fruitcake is the season, I guess, because this woman is crazy, and she doesn't need to be elected to public office. The last thing we need is more that, more unloading of their problems onto our young children and making Tennessee a hub for places for blue cities to run to and buy up all the real estate. Everybody needs to know that Tennessee is a very Republican state, and we are very much Christian. And the way that they've treated our children is beyond words. They shouldn't be treated this way.

No, they shouldn't be. And I know you guys in North Carolina know far too much about this because you guys were once a rock-solid red state that went purple, and now it's, I hate to say it, it's kind of bluish. Yes. All the people moving in. From the top down, the corruption, because Kamala Harris came right before the election, and believe me, they were plotting and twisting at that time but the Arctic Frost that came out if everyone wants their personal lives put out on paper and be denied all the rights this fruitcake is your solution but there no way that she should be elected to come across yeah i'm i'm with you she's a socialist and it's just yet another i mean this is the mam dami effect and we warn people this was going to happen and we're going to we're going to see this replicated across the entire country uh by the midterms it very well may be possible that we have, you know, maybe as many as five to ten socialists that win on the Democrat side of the aisle.

So we've got to wake up. We've got to get, we have to have strong leadership, and we just don't have it in the House. We don't have it in the Senate, and that's unfortunate, and that's what the problem is here. All right, Marie, thank you for that. Let's go to Lucky in Ely, Nevada, wants to talk about pregnant women.

Hi, Lucky, what's going on? Hi, how are you? I feel bad now that my call is coming in with all the political stuff because I could talk about that too. But what I wanted to say is that when I was pregnant and craving, I craved Chinese food. And I went to a Chinese restaurant every day for a month having Chinese food.

And somehow or another, this guy didn't know I was pregnant. I guess he just thought I was a fat lady. and while I was eating and I had a group of people with me that took me to the Chinese restaurant my water broke and everybody jumps up and get the car take it to the hospital come on, the water broke and I refused to get up I said no, not until I finish my Chinese food because I don't know when I would be able to eat that in the hospital so the man came out the owner and he goes, oh no on my floor. You have water all over my floor. You must go.

You must go. And he said, so I said, no, I want to finish my food. He said, here, take the plate. Oh my God. Take the plate and go.

Lucky. That is a great story. Thank you for sharing. Hang tight, folks. Got to take a quick break.

We'll be right back. Evil runs around this town undercover Looking for a soul to take But they better stay away from the righteous harming Or hell is all they'll pay Cause I can see you around the corner And I know you're coming If you had any sense you'd run But you ain't got a clue what a daddy will do Better give your soul to Jesus while I get my gun You better give your soul to Jesus while I get my gun They try to steal away our sons and daughters Shrouded in the shadow of night But we fight with protection of the Heavenly Father And we ain't scared to die All right. Welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. A powerful, powerful new anthem from our good friend John Rich. He'll be phoning in later on in this program.

The Righteous Hunter is the name of the video. And it is really a powerful message. And again, going back to those who are preying on our children, these predators that are roaming our streets, roaming our school classrooms, and sadly, in some cases, churches as well. And John Rich just writing this powerful, powerful anthem about that. And we'll be talking to him a little bit later on.

901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. nine two six let's go to beautiful Helen Georgia Keith is listening to us today hi Keith what's on your mind uh Tim Burchett your congressman that uh just talked on the phone on the radio um I find it kind of hypocritical that he talks to us voters about voting they've been up there for uh the whole whole year now and probably been in session six three months out of the whole time they've been on break, holiday, recess, everything else. They're not codifying any votes. They're not even voting themselves.

They go to work on Tuesdays and leave and come back on Thursdays if they even go up there at all. You know, why is he lecturing us? We vote and we get enough support. What's the deal? You know, it's a great question, Keith.

The members of Congress talk about low propensity voters we can't even get them to show up to vote and to do their jobs it's crazy i mean i don't think he should be lecturing us i think he should be looking in the mirror yeah he's going to be a leader let him get up there and be a leader get up there with mr johnson and have it nose to nose say look we need we need to put out something here except a bunch of rhetoric. All I can tell you is this, Keith, that I like Burchett. He's a good guy. His heart's in the right place, and he is up there doing what he's supposed to be doing. But at some point, if your leadership is causing a problem, you've got to be willing to call out your leadership.

You do it in private. There's a way to do it. And if nothing gets accomplished, then you bring it before the American people. But clearly, at this point, we've got a leadership problem. We've had a leadership problem in the House of Representatives and the Senate for a very long time.

But what they're going to try to do is if this thing goes south in the 7th Congressional District, Keith, they're going to try to blame it on the voters. To your point, I'm not sure the Republicans have given them any reason to get out and vote today. No, I mean, why go through all our motions when they're not even doing theirs, you know? Our job is to vote. Their job is to get up there and pass laws and ensure that they provide the services that we're supposed to receive.

Become spoiled, rotten brats that only serve people with money in their political campaigns. And not to produce people, but to mark it for the job. Keith, you're breaking up, my friend. I think we had a rough patch there with your phone, but I think we got the gist of what you were saying. and I don't blame you for being frustrated.

But again, Tim Burchett saying 45% of evangelical Christians, 30% of the gun owners are not even going to the polls. He says this is what happens when 12% of the population votes.

Well, look at what happened in New York City. Look at what happened across the great state of New Jersey. By the way, we do need some good news to share. Secretary Brooke Rollins just announcing they were able to get a whopping 800,000 people off of SNAP, eliminating huge amounts of fraud. She says 800,000, again, 800,000, that's nothing to sneeze at.

But again, we got 42 million. 800,000 of 42 million have moved off of food stamps. We found 186,000 dead people, a half a million people receiving double benefits, and some people were getting benefits in six states. Unbelievable.

So good job. Good job, Brooke Rollins. And again, I like this idea, and I know early on, Brooke Rollins was suggesting maybe we ought to take everybody off, Everybody gets off, and then we have everybody reapply for SNAP benefits. Everybody in the country. And we've been pretty straightforward on this program.

There are some people who definitely need help, need government assistance. I've got no problem with that, no beef with that. I've got a big problem with the people that have TikTok accounts that are driving around in brand-new cars that are loading up on all sorts of crazy stuff. They've got thousands of dollars on their cards. I've got a problem with those people, and those are the ones that we need to go after.

So again, if you're legitimate, if you're obeying the laws of the land, you've got nothing to worry about. But this is great news coming out of the cabinet meeting today.

Well done, Secretary Brooke Rollins. All right, 901-260-5926, our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926. coming up tonight at 5 o'clock on the Todd Stern Show on Newsmax. 30% of gun owners don't go to the polls. We have 12% of the population deciding who is elected, who's our judges, who's in Congress. It's a nightmare. Folks better wake up or we're going to lose our dadgum country. And this is not some conspiracy theorist.

This is a reality. Reagan talked about losing one generation. We could lose this country in one vote series. If the Democrats were to take over in the House and the Senate, it would be over for this country right now because they have sold their soul to the devil. And listen, they don't care.

They don't love this flag. They don't love our country. They don't respect our borders. And they just think America is just a big cash cow. and we're just going to start heading to the Xerox machine with $100 bills and printing it out.

And that's just not the way it is. Eventually it runs out and it's going to run out. But that's part of the design too. They'll wreck this country and they'll rebuild it under some elitist woke-atopia that then their university types can run it. And it's going to be, it'll be like New York on steroids.

All right. That's Congressman Tim Burchett on Fox News just a few moments ago. By the way, got our times crossed. My apologies. we've got John Rich coming up at the bottom of the next hour.

So you're going to want to stick around for that. And John is on with Jason Whitlock right now.

So he's doing a lot of media today. And we're excited to be able to talk to him. Again, you know, the thing that gets me about Tim Burchett and all of the Republicans are losing their ever-loving minds over this congressional race.

So one of two things is happening. It really is catastrophic what's about to happen or it's not that big of a deal. Either way, this is very, very bad news for the Republicans because the optics look like they're panicking right now. I mean, it really does. We've got some more audio from Congressman Burchett.

Take a listen. ...part of the Democrat Party. She is the mainstream of the congressional Democrat Party. And by not answering that question, she will fit perfectly in Congress because this gutless bunch up here, they can't pull water out of a boot if you had the instructions written on the heel. She is clearly the far left's dream girl.

She doesn't say anything, and she will vote. It's so far to the left that she will make AOC look like she subscribes to the National Review. It is a pathetic situation, brother, that this is where the Democrats... You know, people say it's not Kennedy's Democrat Party. Heck, it's not even Bill Clinton's Democrat Party anymore.

This thing is so far to the left, they're bringing in AOC and Al Gore, for goodness sakes, It's a guy that tells us we're going to have this global warming, and yet it's record cold in Tennessee, and he still has a platform. We've got to wake up. She is the mainstream of the Democrat Party, and we've got to stop it. And surely to goodness that we can stop it in Tennessee. Matt Van Epps is the candidate.

If you're out there, folks, please vote for him. He is wonderful. You see what I mean? I mean, they're going wall to wall, everybody, and they're just freaking out over it.

So, again, we had a caller, Keith, from Georgia, and he was listening to our great affiliate, WRWH, and he pointed out a very simple thing. What have these Republicans actually been doing? In all honesty, they haven't really been doing anything, and I think that's the problem here. One of the problems is that the Republicans have not done anything. They have not codified President Trump's agenda.

They haven't done anything. nothing at all so it's an unfortunate situation but this is where we are right now and we can certainly hope and pray for an a miracle in a plus 22 republican district that the the republican guy can pull it out but geez a loop we we learned this lesson with zoran mandami but then tim burchard is right this is not the party bill clinton and i'm going to take it a step further This is not the party of Nancy Pelosi. What you are seeing is unreal. And you are watching a metamorphosis. The Democrat Party now becoming a socialist party at its core with people like AOC and Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib and Jasmine Crockett and AOC.

and the list goes on ayanna presley and they will be adding to their numbers in the midterm as democrats i'll tell you there's a there's a guy um running his name is justin pearson who's challenging steve cohen this is not going to be congressman steve cohen's political a democrat party so we're watching this party just lurch it's not even to the left they're just off the charts insane that that's where all of this is going by the way they did roll out al gore and i gotta tell you i i didn't know the guy was still with us i thought he had gone on to um well his global warming utopia here's here's al gore cut to your hard work is really paying off this is an incredibly close race it's very very exciting and i can say having had the privilege to representing Tennessee in years past, I want to tell you that I have never seen the political tides shift as far and as fast as we're seeing them move in this election. I think it's obvious why, because while the people of Tennessee are seeing their grocery prices rise and their health care costs skyrocket, Donald Trump is building a golden ballroom and lining his own pockets. It's incredible. This is by far the most corrupt administration in history. It's amazing.

People are standing for it as much as they are. What are Republicans in Congress doing in response to this reckless and dangerous behavior? They're enabling it. Trump says jump and they immediately say, yes, sir. How high?

We already have way too many subservient cowards in Congress. And the very last thing we need is to send another one up there. Your votes in this election can send not just a message, but a shockwave that truly changes the direction of our country. Our nation is at a tipping point. As much as our current president seems to think he's the king, he's actually become one of the most unpopular presidents in all of American history.

Turns out people really don't like gold-plated giant ballrooms. It turns out they don't like presidents who shamelessly line their own pockets when voters' pockets are nearly empty. We're done. We're done. I can only handle so much of that blowhard.

Look, here's the deal. That big, beautiful golden ballroom is actually being paid for by Donald Trump and a number of private donors. The American people aren't being charged a single dime for that, not a single penny.

So for Al Gore to get up there and to lie about it, are you really surprised? No, I, yeah, I am surprised that he is still with us and I'm glad. I mean, you know, he looks a lot better than Joe Biden did. Oh, by the way, What was that yesterday? They were going, the media was going nuts over Trump's medical records again.

So they finally came out during the press briefing and they released all of Trump's medical records. And the guy's healthy as a horse. Yeah, he's got a couple of problems here and there, but nothing major. It's just old age. You know, your body's going to wear out.

Happens to all of us, everybody. But Trump's doing just fine.

Meanwhile, this is the same White House, the exact same White House press corps. And they turned a blind eye when Joe Biden was out there talking to dead people. He was talking to literal dead people. Then he, what, wanders off into the woods during a meeting, and it was embarrassing. We had to have the Italian prime minister go and haul him back in.

He's wandering off stage all the time, confused his wife with his sister. The guy tumbles going upstairs, and the media turned a blind eye to all of that. Oh, he's the most cognizant president we've had in American history, this guy Joe Biden. These people have lost all credibility. Oh, by the way, I have to tell you about this.

You know, they kicked all the White House press corps out of the, or the Pentagon press corps out of the Pentagon because they refused to follow orders. You know, the problem was that you had a lot of these reporters and they were wandering around and they were getting tips on all of these secrets and things they should not be reporting on. because it's the Pentagon. And so there was a big hullabaloo. The Pentagon reporters refused to follow the new rules and regulations, so they got the boot, and now they've got all of these.

Well, Laura Loomer and Matt Gaetz are in the new Pentagon press corps. You can't make it up. You just can't make it up. It's a great thing that's happening.

So well done, War Secretary Pete Hegseth, who, by the way, has not been fired, contrary to the reporting of the mainstream media. You know, they were wanting him booted.

So there you go, ladies and gentlemen, just a lot of stuff going on right now in our nation's capital, and it's just sad to see what the Republicans in the House are not doing. But God love our president. He's crushing it right now. By the way, Marco Rubio saying this just a few moments ago, no country is safe if you can just walk in without us knowing who you are. Rubio went on to say, we've seen the destruction.

It's wrecking, not just in our own country, but in Europe and many other parts of the world. And he's absolutely right. Oh, by the way, today is Giving Tuesday, and we want to give you the opportunity to support our efforts. Most of what we do is covered by advertising dollars, but we're wanting to grow our ranks. And one of the ways we're doing that is raising money.

And so this is an opportunity for you to support conservative broadcasting and commentary and journalism. If you go to Todd Stearns dot com during the break, you will see a post there on how you can support the show on this giving Tuesday.

So again, go to Todd Stearns dot com, whether you want to give five dollars or fifty dollars or five hundred dollars, you're able to do that by going to Todd Stearns dot com right now. You'll see the post there, Giving Tuesday, ways you can support our show. Hang tight, everybody. John Rich coming up next. This is the Todd Starr Show.

Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, It's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. That's us. That's right. I love this American ride. Wow.

Hello, everybody. This is insane.

Just moments ago, Secretary Christine Ohm announced that 50% of the visas in Minnesota are fraudulent. This is just insane. Insane. And I'd be willing to wager a Chick-fil-A sandwich that all of those visas involve people from Somalia. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Show.

Good to have you with us. We've been following President Trump's big cabinet meeting. A lot of questions, a lot of Q&A, and just tons of information coming out. By the way, our telephone number, 901-260-5926. that's 901-260-5926 you know i want to go back and and play something from nayland haley that's the son the gen z son of nikki haley and they are diametrically opposed to each other in their politics and nayland haley is talking about gen z voters and want to play us cut number eight please at the end of the day the goal of every generation is to leave it better than you found it right and Not only are we not doing that, we're going in the opposite direction.

My friend group graduated all with great degrees and great schools. And not one of them has a job.

Not one. Um, so it's frustrating because they did everything that they were supposed to do. They put in the time, the effort, uh, the money to get educated and they don't have a job to show for it. They have to compete with, um, forum workers who are willing to work for half their salary and, um, AI, which is a supercomputer, you know?

So how can we compete with that? You look at the housing market and the average first time home buyer in America is 40 years old now. Five years ago, it was 33. My parents bought their first house for ninety thousand dollars in the late 90s, and now it's probably worth over four hundred thousand dollars.

So we're facing a lot of issues. And, you know, I think some things that we need to do is we need to ban H-1B visas, make sure corporations are hiring a certain number of Americans and make sure they act in the interest of the American people, not just for themselves. I think that we need to stop subsidizing illegal immigrants for housing and said maybe look into subsidizing Americans for first time homebuyers for housing and not allow corporations in the Chinese Communist Party to buy entire neighborhoods of single-family homes.

So, Naylan, you hit a lot of points there. And I think one of the things that has not been addressed by a lot of Republicans is they feel like a lot of young people just want free stuff, but you're speaking directly against it. You're saying these young people, they actually work very hard, they've gotten a degree, but they feel like the American dream isn't attainable to them.

And it's because socialists, the Democratic socialists, are actually reaching out to young people.

So if the Republicans do that, which they need to do, it may stop a lot of kids my age from becoming socialists and from going to the Democrats. All right. There you have it. And look, I think we could make some great points. The vice president, a few moments ago, sums up where we are with all of this on the affordability issue.

The vice president says it would be preposterous to fix every problem caused over the last four years in just 10 months. And he's absolutely right. That does not negate the fact that a lot of Americans are still dealing with the ramifications of the Biden administration. No doubt about that. I like the idea that Steve Gill had.

He called into the show yesterday and Gill made an interesting observation. He said that what this administration needs to do is start running a lot of commercials and just showing people, right? Get two grocery cards, fill one grocery card up with the amount. Let's say you got $100. This is what $100 would have bought you during the Biden administration.

And here is the massive bounty that $100 will now buy you courtesy of the Trump administration policies. or head on down to the gas station and say, okay, we got two cars. Here's one car, and here's how much that $5 a gallon gasoline costs you, and this is how much it would have filled up your car during the Biden administration. And here's what, I don't know, $2.50 a gallon gas does for you in the Trump administration. Just put it out there.

Wall-to-wall commercials broadcast on every TV station, put them on social media. What a great TikTok challenge for somebody. But again, it's all about getting control of the narrative back. And I think that the young people of America, they're smart enough. They're smart.

They know what's going on here. And I think if they actually see something like that, they would certainly understand it. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. Hey, let's go to our phone line.

Speaking of Steve Gill, Steve Gill joins us from Nashville. Hey, Steve, I was just bragging about your great idea from yesterday. I only come up with one a month. What was this one? No, it was loading up the grocery carts.

And this is what you would have been able to buy during the Biden administration. And this is what you could buy during the Trump administration. I'm a visual learner, and I think most people are.

So I think you have to literally show people the difference. while the Democrats were screaming affordability and the cost of everything. And keep in mind, if the illegal aliens go home, our rental costs, our cost of health care, everything goes down.

So there's a lot of ways to lower the cost, and we're not getting credit for it. You know, Steve, I don't know if you've been following all of the noise coming out of the Capitol, but the Republicans, they're freaking out, man, and it's making me nervous. I think this guy, Van Epps, he wins his district, but now I'm not quite so sure based on how, you know, Speaker Johnson, even Tim Burchett. I mean, Burchett's angry because apparently people are not getting out to vote. I mean, you're there, boots on the ground.

What are you hearing?

Well, it is a brutally cold day. They have laid out all the crazy of Afton Bain, the Democrat, way late in the process. And the question is, do people turn out today on election day when we did not put this information out? I mean, whoever was doing the opposition research, they should have laid this stuff out the day after the primary was over, rather than in the days after early voting came to an end.

So it may be too little too late. I still think that we hang on to this seat with maybe a five to seven point margin. But I was watching Fox News earlier today and it was interesting Todd They had a former Senate candidate in Ohio and a Democrat I think she was from New York Why didn they have somebody from Tennessee on analyzing it Because the Democrat kept saying, this is a plus-22 solid Republican district. Just because Donald Trump carried it by 22 doesn't mean that's the complexion of the district. This is a plus-10 Republican district.

And in an early voting disaster, in an over-Thanksgiving early vote, with the geographic challenges that have been put in place of where they were getting votes early, it should be about a seven-point win in an off-year election, maybe a five-point. But it was never going to be a 22-point win for the Republicans under any circumstances.

So the Democrats are putting out their talking points, they're spreading them nationally, and unfortunately they're also spreading them on Fox News. Yeah. I want to switch gears here. There's a big civil war brewing between Elise Stefanik and Speaker Mike Johnson, and they're going at each other today on social media. She's accusing him of getting rolled by Democrats and turning against Republicans aligned with President Trump.

I've been talking a lot about this, Steve, for a while. We just have a leadership problem in the House and the Senate, and there's really no way around it. I agree with that, but I also need to focus on the reality that, look, you know, Mike Johnson right now has a two-vote majority in the House and at least five rhinos that he can't count on.

So he is literally herding blind cats, not just cats, and that is a challenge. I have more problems on the Senate side where John Boone has the vote to get things done and doesn't move things to a vote, doesn't, you know, hold the Senate accountable and the, you know, Republicans accountable. I see a bigger problem on the Senate side, frankly, than the House side, because particularly with that, you know, special election we're having in Tennessee today, he's down, I think, to a vote majority, where you know he has five or six or more votes he cannot count on. And yet they've still passed a lot of significant things in the House that are then tied up and blocked in the Senate, where John Soon won't bring things to a vote.

Now, look, sometimes you have to have 60 votes to get past the numbers to get something done. But most of the things that Soon is not bringing up for a vote in the Senate could be passed with 51 votes. Steve Gill on our Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, and Steve, when you look at those numbers, you said, too, does that include Marjorie Taylor Green because she leaves in January.

So does that take away one of the two? Yeah, you should have. Presumably, the Republicans seat up for grabs in the 7th District Middle Tennessee special election today. Hopefully, it will bring one vote, but you're going to take one step forward, one step back when Marjorie Taylor Green drops aside. And I'm really concerned, Todd, as we head into the new year, do you have some of these rhinos?

I want to stick it to Johnson. and I want to stick it to my, you know, Trumpers that I hate, some of these anti-Trumpers in the House, you know, to start seeing other resignations, special elections that could bring us below the majority for some period of time that would make Hakeem Jeffries the Speaker. Yeah, that's what I'm concerned about here. And again, it seems to me if you're a Republican, I don't care if you're a liberal Republican or whatever, you know, you're not going to want to let that happen to your own party. But this isn't so much about party as it is sticking it to Donald Trump.

Absolutely. And that's the only reason that Democrats care about this special election in Tennessee today. They don't care if Afton Bain wins or not. She's the Democrat nominee, the wack job crazy lady. They just want it to be close enough that they can call it a Trump loss.

So again, anything less than 22 points is going to be branded by the media nationally and by the Democrats as a horrific loss for Trump, again, in a district that, you know, on its best day is a plus 10, which is a significant margin for Republicans. But in a special election over Thanksgiving week, you're not going to have those kind of numbers. And a five to seven margin for Republicans is a win in a district that is not an actual plus 22.

So the Democrats are going to, you know, cry victory no matter what happens, and hopefully they'll actually get a victory in terms of flipping this seat. But the margins are so close in the House. And we've seen some of these Republicans in the House and in the Senate get angry. I mean, we've got Lisa Murkowski in Alaska talking about flipping to the Democratic side that would take away a vote in the U.S. Senate as well.

She's never really been a Republican that we could count on. But this is the problem we have in both the House and the Senate. We need to make sure that in the midterms, we not only keep control of the House and Senate, but we get margins of conservative Republicans in the House and Senate, so we can actually get the Trump agenda done. All right, Steve, good stuff. I know you're going to be busy today.

We'll be talking to you on Newsmax tonight as well. Always appreciate your great analysis. Thanks, my friend. We'll talk later. All right, Steve Gill, Tristardaily.com, covering politics around the nation.

Speaking of that, you folks in Texas. Oh boy. There is a woman running for Congress. Her name is Valentina Gomez. She's running down in the 31st district of Texas.

And one of her big campaign promises is to remove Muslims from the Lone Star State. And I want to read this to you. This is what this is what she has to say. Again, her words, not mine. Texas, I've officially filed to become your next congresswoman, so the choice is yours.

Vote for me so we can kick every dirty Muslim out of Texas, save your daughters from getting raped by Mohammed, and protect our soldiers from getting murdered in broad daylight. Let me be very clear, we will make Texas the worst place for groomers, terrorist Muslims, pedophiles, and illegals to live in, so help me God. For me, this is just an election, but for you and your daughter, this is your life because Texas has only gotten more Muslim under these weak Republicans. New York City already fell to Islam.

So did Michigan and Minnesota, and you're next in line. If Texas falls to Islam, it's simply because you didn't vote correctly. God bless you all.

Well, it certainly did not mince words there. All right, 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

So there's some new data that's been released about self-driving cars. You guys ever been in a self-driving car? where you're in the passenger side or you're in the driver's seat and the car is driving itself. Waymo has released new data covering nearly 100 million driverless miles in four American cities. This was through June of this year.

And here's what they've discovered. And according to the New York Times, the results are very impressive. When compared to human drivers on the same roads, Waymo's self-driving cars were involved in 91% fewer serious injury or worse crashes. Or worse means dead. It showed a 96% lower rate of injury-causing crashes at intersections, which are some of the deadliest that are seen in hospitals.

So far, other autonomous vehicle companies don't report or they only report incomplete data. Waymo, by contrast, published everything they needed to analyze the data.

Now, if Waymo's results, reading from the New York Times piece here, if Waymo's results are indicative of the broader future of autonomous vehicles, we may be on the path to eliminating traffic deaths as a leading cause of mortality in the United States.

so if i'm reading this correctly this guy who's a surgeon who wrote this piece for the new york times this guy is suggesting that we have a what car buyback program is that is that what there is so first they took away the guns now they want to take away your car dylan would you ever ride in a in one of those kinds of cars i don't think i would but based off your stats it sounds like it's safer. My thing is merging onto the interstate, that's the only thing that I would really care about. I have a strategic way that I do it. Obviously I'm trying to be safe, but I don't know. Maybe I don't trust it right now, but maybe in the future.

Not a chance. Not a chance. I can't imagine a bunch of guys in the south driving around in pickup trucks without them being behind the steering wheel. I don't know about that. It's a robot?

Yeah, that's not going to happen.

However, it is interesting, though, that when you don't have a human behind the wheel, you actually get fewer accidents. Clearly, they have not been in New York City or Los Angeles or on I-240 in Memphis. I'm just saying. All right, hang tight. Got to take a quick break here.

Our good friend John Rich coming up after the break. You're going to want to stick around. And it's going to be a great conversation, a very powerful new song coming from our friend John Rich. This is The Todd Stern Show. Evil runs around this town undercover looking for a soul to take.

But they better stay away from the righteous harming or hell is all they'll pay. Cause I can see you around the corner and I know you're coming. If you had any sense, you'd run. But you ain't got a clue what a daddy will do Better give your soul to Jesus while I get my gun You better give your soul to Jesus while I get my gun Some pretty powerful lyrics right there, folks. Really a haunting message and a powerful message.

The name of the song, The Righteous Hunter, a parent's declaration of war against those who prey on our children. Wow. Powerful. I'm going to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, the man behind that song playing that guitar, John Rich. John, good to have you back with us, my friend.

Hey, Todd. Good to be with you again, sir. And congratulations on the song. And I want to get to that in just a moment, but we have been following this crazy news, this election in the 7th Congressional District. You and I were big fans of Jody Barrett in the Republican primary.

I believe he was the America first candidate in that race. And it seems like the Republicans are really freaking out now, John. What's going on? What's your take on things? I think you kind of nailed it.

I think that, you know, Van Epps, you know, he has good qualities about him. But I think that there was also baggage with him. You know, there was a history with him in the state that a lot of Republicans and conservatives were not for. And when he won the primary, you know, the problem you may be looking at is that you have uninvigorated voters, like conservative voters that aren't real hot on Van Epps.

Now, that being said, we don't want to have Afton Bain sitting in that seat. I mean, no thank you.

So I hope people show up and vote and vote red and keep her out of that seat. But I do think that's what you said there is correct. I mean, that was quite a primary. There was a lot of hard fists and a lot of bloody noses given in that primary. No doubt about it.

But I think, again, we've got to figure out a way to, you know, when President Trump is not on the ballot, we've got to figure out a way to make sure that we're picking the right candidates and the people that are going to advance that agenda. Otherwise, you know, it's getting to be a dangerous time in our country, and I know you write a lot about that now. It just seems like, you know, with your songs, John, it's, I don't know, maybe I'm not reading this right, but there's depth and there's something else going on with the songs that you've been writing lately.

Well, I think that the world is becoming more serious by the minute. and I think that the superficialness of most music, not all, there's a few that have some gravity, but 99% of the songs out there, they're fun to listen to, they get you through the day, but they don't really give you something to hang on to or make you think. And that's kind of the mode I'm in these days, is there's so many things that are so important that as a songwriter, that's kind of what's on my mind. And as a songwriter, you write what you're thinking about. And knowing that the issue of child trafficking in America is to the tune of now 36 million reports sent in in the past 12 months to the Department of Homeland Security.

You heard that number right. 36 million reports in 12 months of children being targeted online by child sexual predators. I mean, is there a bigger issue than that? I don't think so. And so I thought it was time that a song was written from a parent's point of view, directed exactly on the predators.

Like, speak to them directly. Call them out. Tell them we can see them. And tell them what's going to happen to them if they come for our kids. And that's a hell of a thing to write a song about, Todd.

I mean, that's not your average subject, but it's what I am concerned about because I've gotten to understand it so well. I thought that that song needed to be written.

So The Righteous Hunter, it came out three days ago. It's already over a million views on the video on my ex-channel at John Rich. Tucker Carlson just covered it in his latest podcast, and now I'm talking to you.

So I appreciate the opportunity to speak about it. No, it's an honor to do that. And folks, we've got the video, and we're sharing it on all of our social media platforms, and you need to watch this. First of all, everything you do is so well done. Your work of late just reminds me of Johnny Cash.

And some of the, you know, I mean, he really just bore his soul in his music, and you're doing that now. And, again, for a topic like this, you know, most people, when they think of country music, you know, we're way down yonder on the Chattahoochee. You know, this is some deep stuff you're diving into here.

Well, country music, the country music artists that I respect the most are the ones that said it so plainly and simply. Yeah. And without apology, that there was no doubt what they meant by it, what the point of it was. And that's the kind of songwriter I want to be. That's how I want to be known.

I want basically what I'm thinking is probably what millions of people are thinking. I just have the ability to put it into a song form and put it out there. And I think that's a responsibility for a guy like me. You know, I can't believe that I'm thankful I don't have a record deal and I'm thankful I don't have a publishing deal. I mean, if you'd have told me that 10 years ago, John, someday you won't have a record deal or a publishing deal and you're going to be happy about that, I would have said you were crazy.

but here's why I'm happy about it because songs like the righteous honor would never be heard if I was still under contract with any of those big companies so being a free agent being an actual free creator allows me to say things like what's being said in this song no I I get that you know and when when Fox didn't renew my contract you know five years ago moving back home to Memphis and buying my own radio station it's there is a freedom there I mean you have a responsibility but there's a freedom to say what needs to be said. I get exactly what you're talking about. Yeah, I mean, that's what it means to be a free man, a free woman. We talk about freedom of speech, but if you sign a certain contract with a certain company, they get to decide what you say and don't say, don't they? It's true.

You know that very well. And the music business, oh, yeah, I mean, you can play them. I can play them the righteous honor. and they can look at me and go, wow, what a great song. What else do you have?

Yeah. And that'll be the end of the conversation.

So I'm glad to be a free agent. This song is causing tremors right now throughout the U.S. I'm getting texts and emails from senators, congresspeople, people from the White House, all kinds of organizations from Tim Tebow on down that said, I can't believe this video. You know, in the video, which I'm glad you're sharing it, We actually do a reenactment of adults purchasing children in a home. And in the room, we were being supervised by a group of people who sting child predators for a living.

They've now rescued close to 20,000 kids in the past 20 years. We had them in the room. And the reason they were in there was to make sure that this reenactment was accurate. Because I've never been in a room like that, thank God. but I wanted to make sure it was accurate and it is accurate.

So you'll actually see what it looks like when child predators and child traffickers walk those kids in and sell them to someone else. It is disturbing to watch, but American parents need to force themselves to watch it. And then they need to wake up and turn the defense system on inside their own homes. While you're watching the news or the football game, your son or daughter is sitting right behind you with an iPhone or an iPad talking to God knows who. And like I said, 36 million reports in one year, that's 3 million a month, came into the DHS over kids sitting in the same house as their parents who loved them and would die for them, but they're not paying attention and they're allowing these kids to be poached.

That is the point of the song, is for parents to wake up and take action. On the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, we've got John Rich with us. You know, John, when you look back over your career, your life, and what's been happening with you lately, was there a moment that you realized what is really important in life? Yeah. You know, when my two sons, who are now 14 and 15, when they started hitting about 10 and 11, 11 and 12, and I'm seeing how radical the world is getting and how aggressive the wicked side of things was becoming.

I realized what these boys are going to be walking into. And as a guy who has spent my life getting good at writing songs, I can take a blank piece of paper and a guitar and I can put something down that could potentially impact millions of people.

Well, how am I going to use that? Am I just going to keep writing party songs or love songs or whatever? Or am I going to start writing things that count? And the way I distill that down is three words, success versus significance. Which one am I going to go for?

Am I going to go for success? I know how to write those songs. Or am I going to go for something significant, which may not make you a nickel and may actually cost you a lot, not just money, but it may cost you a lot out in the general public and in culture, but it's significant. It's something that needs to be said that nobody else is saying. And I decided I'm going to try to be significant.

I'm going to try to use my gifts, what I've been given as a talent, to be significant, to say things that need to be said that nobody else will say. And The Righteous Hunter is a perfect example of that. I did watch a good bit of your interview on Tucker's podcast. I was really intrigued with what you had to say about Christianity, and I think we sort of come from the same Southern growing up where the church was a big part of life. And yet now, and especially in the Nashville area, it seems like church is more about performance and feel good as opposed to getting in and actually understanding the word.

I was impressed that you actually brought that up and talked about that. Yeah, they have this angle of social, emotional Christianity, cultural Christianity. And Jesus Christ is our example. That's who we're supposed to try to live up to. He set the ultimate example.

Well, when you see what he did, for instance, when he walked into the temple and it was full of heretics and heresy and people doing business and all kinds of horrible stuff in the temple, had Jesus at that moment been an American cultural Christian, he would have turned around and walked away. He would not have engaged that situation. Why? Because it's difficult and it's going to get bumpy. But that's not what he did.

He walked in, pulled out a whip, flipped over the tables, called them sons of vipers, and physically ran them, violently ran them out of the temple. and restored the temple to what it was supposed to be. And so in 2025, I see a nation full of cultural Christians who refuse to engage the enemy, they refuse to stand up and take a bloody nose if they have to in defense of the truth and in defense of righteousness. They refuse to do it. And because they refuse to do it, that's why you have 36 million reports in one year of predators running wild in our country because they're facing no resistance, Todd, no resistance.

God's people are not pushing back. We're not supposed to be in a defensive posture. We're supposed to be in an offensive posture when it comes to wickedness. We're supposed to go walk right up to it and push them out the window. And that's what I intend on doing.

That's what this song is all about. And I hope it inspires Christians to stand up and do what they know needs to be done.

Well, I got to say thank you for writing this. And it's a powerful song. And folks, go. We've got it on our platforms. You got to go and watch this.

And this is a powerful, powerful video. And this verse of Scripture, 1 Peter 5, 8, Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. John, thank you again. And again, these are serious times. and thank you for being a voice out there in the culture.

Well, I'm glad to do it, and I hope more step up and do it as well in whatever lane they are in, wherever they live. No matter how big or how small, if people stand up and take the fight to the enemy, we will eventually prevail in this situation. But if you don't, you're just going to see things get worse and worse and worse. and I know you're a fighter, I'm a fighter, and a lot of your listeners are too. You guys bow up, do what you know is right, bring the fight to the enemy.

All right. John, we got to leave it there. John Rich, everybody. And again, here's more of that very powerful anthem that John wrote for us. If you had any sense, you'd run.

But you ain't got a clue what a daddy will do. Better give your soul to Jesus while I get my gun. You better give your soul to Jesus while I get my gun. They try to steal away our sons and daughters. shrouded in the shadow of night but we fight with protection of the heavenly father and we ain't scared to die oh and I can see you around the corner and I know you're coming if you've had any sense you've run but you ain't got a clue what a daddy will do but I'll give your soul to Jesus While I get my gun You better give your soul to Jesus While I get my gun Recall the words that Jesus said Better off or mill stones Around their nets and we pray Not our will but thine be done Bring it to the reign of the wicked one Miss we claim in your name All right.
