Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. It's America's conservative blowtorch. That's us, that's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starns.

And it is great to be back behind the microphone, everybody. Hello, I am Todd Starns, your host, and we are broadcasting border to border, coast to coast across the fruit and plain. Wow, it it feels like I don't know, it feels like I've been away for a year. I can't remember the last time I've actually taken an entire week off and it really wasn't even for vacation. I just normally don't take a lot of time off.

I'm not one of these vacation guys, but this was actually nothing, it had nothing to do about vacations. We just had a lot of speaking engagements, and they all sort of happened coincidentally about the same time.

So, gosh, I have to tell you, thanks to our good friend Mary Walters. She always does a wonderful job whenever I'm away, and she filled him for the entire week. Just did a terrific job. And so, we certainly thank Mary Walter for the great work she did. And you guys were incredibly kind.

I was checking up just to make sure, and you guys did a great job.

So, thank you for making Mary feel so welcome on the radio.

So, I just want to go through some of the things we did, and we've got a lot going on on the show today.

So, here's the deal: Judge Janine Pirro, who is now the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, she will be with us live today. Also, Our good friend Rudy Giuliani is going to drop by.

So, looking forward to talking to both of those big power hitters, and that'll be a fun conversation. Also, I'm really looking forward to having conversations with you again. I want you to write down our telephone number: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. And we'll be taking your calls in just a little while.

So, gosh, let's start with where I was at in Los Angeles. For about five days, I was at the spiritual leadership conference hosted by our friends at West Coast Baptist College and Lancaster Baptist Church. About 3,500 people, mostly pastors. from all across the nation. And it was really a lot of fun to meet so many of our listeners.

I love those kinds of national gatherings because you sort of get a flavor of all of our listenership across the country and certainly had a wonderful time there. And also, Dylan, you will be proud. I was and I was somewhat s shocked by this because this was not on the on the schedule, but I was going to give a speech, which I did, and I was going to do some book signings and lead a workshop. And by the way, that workshop on how to engage in your local community, how to be salt and light in your community. They had to literally move the session to a larger room, and then that crowd spilled out into the hallway.

So we had like 150 people in this little breakout session. But before all of that, I was asked to put on my professorial cap. And I got to speak, teach a class at the university and did the apologetics class. And then I had to speak to the high school chapel. They have a Christian K through 12, and then they have a university there.

And I got to speak to the kids. And Dylan, wow. Can I just say, you know, when I interviewed, you remember this? I interviewed President Trump and went to the Oval Office and. I really wasn't all that nervous, right?

I mean, you're interviewing the leader of the free world. But standing up there in front of grades seven through twelve, I was terrified. Right? Kids are scary. It scared the living daylights out of me.

They'll give you those stares sometimes where they're like, are they listening? Are they judging me? Are they awake? It was a. I was.

I mean, first of all, they were so polite and well-mannered, but they're, you know, these kids, they had that look on the face. And you're like, am I connecting? Or, you know, do they think I'm like just some sort of a monster? Or I don't know. It was weird.

There's a term for this, it's called the Gen Z stare. And it's very well known among my generation, is we just give you a blank stare. We don't even talk. We just stare at you. That's all they did.

Yeah. And then, but so I figured I'm going to have to pull out the big guns.

So you know what I did? I started out with, hey guys, guess where I was at a couple of weeks ago? And I showed him me and Trump in the White House. And that sort of broke the ice. There you go.

And then I showed him the cookie. The White House cookie. And they were impressed. That's how you get the attention of it. But here's how this, but I was still not convinced that was going to do it.

So so and by the way If you think the LED wall, they had an entire wall. It must have been 30 feet wide LED wall. You could like suntan on that thing. The amount of heat that was emanating from that. We've got pictures over on the social media, but it was really cool.

So, anyway, I'm trying to figure out: all right, I really gotta hit a home run here.

So I told the kids I was there to talk about America 250 and, of course, Charlie Kirk. And so I said, guys, for the big 250, Trump is going to host a UFC fight night. At the White House, and every boy in that crowd just perked right up. And I said, you know, this is going to be cool. They're literally going to be fighting on the White House lawn.

They don't have a name for it yet. You know, I was thinking like Rumble in the Rose Garden. And then I told the students, I'm like, so you guys. You've got to come up with a name for this. And I will pass those along directly to President Trump.

And they did, they came up with some clever names. That's awesome. It always helps hype the guys up. I'm sure that was a real hit. They were pumped up.

So one of them came up with the name, was it Bill of Fights? That was clever. And my other, there was another one, Star Spangled Bandaged. Yeah. Clever kids.

Wow. But you know, I got to thinking about it. Those kids, they have no idea what I said after that because they were trying to think: all right, what's a good name? What do we got to come up with a good name?

So, anyway, we talked to the students and they asked a lot of questions, and really a lot of great questions. And I was really impressed with their knowledge of current events. Many of them were plugged into the whole, you know, to what happened to Charlie Kirk. And we actually played, before I got up to speak to the students, actually played Erica Kirk's message. And I think that really resonated with the students.

So I know you work with high school kids. You do the whole, was it young life? Yep, young life.

So does that happen with you? I mean, do they kinda give you the j the stare? Yes, and I'm fortunate. They don't act up. They do listen.

Whenever I do give a talk, is what we do. But yeah, it's very intimidating to speak to high schoolers. And I'm not this guy that's nervous around people, but for me, Yeah, yeah, yeah. Every single time. But, you know, you were mentioning the, you know, them being engaged and stuff.

These high schoolers that I see at Briarcrest, they. are engaged more now than they've ever been. because of Charlie Kirk. I think they're actually starting to think about this stuff and how it actually affects them more. and they're having conversations with me as their leader.

They're opening up about how they feel about how the world's politically and you know, their Christian worldview, how it's affecting them and their faith and it's It's really cool to see. I was really impressed in California because this was predominantly a West Coast crowd.

So, a lot of people from California, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington State. And, oh, I thought this was interesting. We had a delegation of Ukrainian Baptists and Russian Baptists.

So, everybody got along. But it was a great group. A large group of Slavic Baptists, and man, just such fine, fine people. And it was really fascinating because to a person, the pastors were telling me that young people were flocking to their church in the aftermath of the shooting, and people were really searching for answers. And that was just such a positive thing.

So, just a wonderful time. And it was really, for me, it was a lot of work, but it was a lot of fun. Dylan, they brought out the food there is insane. One night, so they would have like, you know. That you would do breakfast, lunch, dinner, then after the services.

They would have food trucks and they would have like theme nights.

So you had In-N-Out Burgers one night and Chick-fil-A another night, and then it was like LA street food night, and they had anything you could imagine. They're very smart. To bring on Chick-fil-A too, I mean. It is the Lord's chicken. It is.

That's true. And In-N-Out is like, you know, Baptist beef. Yeah. It is. What to come up with something better, but yes, to your point, exactly.

Baptist Burgers.

So it was a lot of fun. Then I came back to Memphis for just one day. Was honored to be able to emcee a gala for the Confidential Care Ministries, which is a great organization. And they reach out to moms that are single moms. Maybe they're going through really tough times in their lives.

They're pregnant. And helping coming alongside those moms and taking them through the birthing process and just a wonderful, wonderful thing. And it was great to be a part of that. And then ramping up in North Carolina at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's gathering. And we'll talk more about that later.

And also our good friends in Iowa. We'll have to talk about that as well. All right. Our telephone number, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.

I will say this, and it's almost become cliché now, but we are at, I'm just going to say, instead of a turning point, we are at an inflection point. in American history. And this is far from over. And I think really the hard part now is what are we going to do with all of the things that have been said over the past several weeks now, all of the The enthusiasm and the excitement about starting turning point USA chapters and conservative kids getting involved, people just being unafraid to speak. You know, the question is: what do we do now?

Where do we go from here? Will we be able to keep that fire burning? because I'm telling you the other side, they have tripled down. And so now you've got a lot of these schools that are coming back and they're saying, well, you know, maybe we shouldn't have fired this person for celebrating an assassination. We're going to bring that person back.

And you're seeing this with Jimmy Kimmel, by the way. And again, going back to something we said before I was out on break, the issue with Jimmy Kimmel, this had nothing to do with the federal government. This was not a government issue. The government overstepped, had no business weighing in on this. This was a Disney ABC affiliate decision.

And clearly, they have caved. And they will suffer the consequences of that. But that is a marketplace decision, not a government decision. And I'm glad to see the government backing off of this because I think they understand exactly where they. where they overstepped.

But again, the issue is: will we step up to the plate? And we're going to have to do it every single day. I will promise you this on this radio program. I made this promise to 3,500 people at West Coast Baptist College, and I'll make it here in front of our millions of people that listen to this show across the country. We're not going to back down here.

We're going to take a stand. We're always going to do so. We're going to be happy, Warriors. We're going to, if you disagree, you still go to the top of the list. We're going to have those conversations.

You better be prepared. If you come on this program, you better be prepared. You've got to bring your facts. And if you don't, we're going to call you out on that. But we're always going to have that debate.

This is just the way we've done it, and we will always do that.

So we're not going to back down. We're not scared. We're not going to be bullied. And I know you won't either. All right.

We do have to take a quick break here, folks. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. I have to tell you about our friends at AMAC. The Association of Mature American Citizens.

Now here's the deal. AMAC, they're sort of like the conservative alternative to AARP, right? They are doing some incredible things, standing up for conservative values, faith, family, freedom, and common sense. And you don't have to be an old person to become an AMAC member. No, you can be 19 or 90.

It doesn't matter. You're going to get the same great benefits. And I'm talking about. Huge discounts on travel, insurance, prescription drugs, exclusive member resources, and you're also going to get a subscription to the AMAC magazine. And you're thinking, Todd, that's got to be a load of money.

Not at all. Get this. You can join for as little as a buck $20 a month with a five-year membership. That's $1.20 with a five-year membership. Go to amac.us slash starnes.

That's amac.us slash starnes and join the fight to keep America strong. Nearly two years ago, terrorists murdered over 1,200 innocent Israelis and took 250 hostages. Today, the cries of the dead and dying seem drowned out by shouts of anti-Semitic hatred. The most brutal attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust is already fading from memory. Yet, as the world looks away, a light breaks through the darkness.

Christians are speaking out in love and support for Israel. United in faith, they will boldly stand with Israel this October, joining a growing movement, the International International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Flags of Fellowship. Flags of Fellowship unites churches all over America, planting over 1 million Israeli flags across our land. Together, we'll combat hate and the scourge of anti-Semitism one flag at a time.

And through our prayers, we can save lives, bring hope, and be a part of seeing a brighter future unfold. This October, please join this historic movement by donating your flag today. Visit ifcj.org. That's ifcj.org. Um And welcome back, everybody.

This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show, and we're Watching this looming government shutdown again. Folks, it's political theater, and it's always political theater. We go through this every time, and every single time the Republicans capitulate.

So let's hope this time around they're going to stand their ground. That is the hope here.

Now the reality is that the Democrats The Democrats are really threatening here to shut down the government. Over issues like providing health care for illegal aliens or providing abortion coverage and gender transition procedures.

So here are the shutdowns. This is what the Democrats are doing. If the Democrats don't get this, They are ready to shut down the government.

So, this is all on the Democrats. And so, the Republicans, they're doing a pretty good job here. And I've got to give. Jon Thune, the majority leader, some credit because he's out there and he's making the argument.

So, this is what the Democrats are demanding. They want $1.5 trillion in new spending. that would explode the debt. They want $350 billion to permanently extend subsidies for abortions and gender mutilation surgeries. They also, are you ready for this, folks?

They want free Medicaid, which is taxpayer funded, free Medicaid for 1.2 million illegals. While Hardworking American families are struggling to afford to pay their doctor bills. Bills. They also want $500 million to restore funding to National Public Welfare Radio and PBS. Which would, in effect, reverse President Trump's spending cuts.

They also want to reinstate funding to global LGBTQIA plus awareness campaigns. And they also want to strip President Trump's ability to eliminate government waste.

So they're declaring war on Doge.

So if the Democrats don't get all of that, then they're going to let the government shut down on September 30th at midnight.

So we'll keep a very close eye on that. But understand what's going on here, ladies and gentlemen. The Democrats Are like wounded animals. Have you ever seen like a wildebeest or like I don't know, a big bear, and they're wounded, and you try to go up and you try to lend a helping hand?

Well, not to the bear because it'll eat you, but the wildebeest or a cat, let's say a dog, a cute little puppy dog. We'll say a little beagle. Although everybody loves beagles. And you've got that cute little beagle. And the beagle has a wounded paw.

And so you go and you help the beagle, because the beagle won't eat you. And the beagle is a dog, which is man's best friend. And so when you reach to help the wounded animal, the beagle will probably bite you. They're very dangerous because they're in a defense mechanism mode. That that's w and th that's what's going on here with the Democrats.

Except they're not like a acute cuddly beagle, they're like wild beast. with big eyelashes. And so the the Democrats here know That That they are doomed. and they're willing to burn down everything To make their plan happen. And I say, burn, baby, burn.

But we can't budge one inch with the Democrats. And that really is the lesson here for the Republicans. They can't budge. The Republicans, they've got to stand their ground. And one of the ways that you can help do that is by calling your elected member of Congress.

Senator, Representative, and let them know that you want them to hold the line here. We cannot, we cannot. go back to funding all of this nonsense. It's just absolutely impossible.

So again, it is going to be a wild week. You're going to be hearing a lot of stuff, and don't buy into any of it. There's going to be a lot of fear-mongering out there, and you can't buy into any of it. 901-260-5926. Our telephone number.

That's 901-260-5926. Crazy story. out of Fort Collins, Colorado. Raisin Canes. Have you been to Raisin Canes?

Oh, it's a great joint.

Well, it turns out that Raising Canes, staff members at the Fort Collins Raising Canes, they actually cursed and mocked Christians that were coming in for dinner after a Charlie Kirk vital. And welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Starns Radio Show. We are broadcasting from our beautiful studios here in Memphis, Tennessee. By the way, National Guard rolling into town this week.

Thank you, President Trump. Memphis, the deadliest city in America, and there is a big plan and a huge, huge move by the federal government and law enforcement to root out the criminals. We're going to war with the gangbangers. Over 100 gangs are operating in Memphis, and the plan is to pretty much obliterate them. It's going to be quite the scene here in Memphis, and we're expecting some great things to happen.

We also understand St. Louis, Chicago, New Orleans, you guys may be next on the president's list.

So we're excited about that. Look, Judge Janine, and the judge and I have known each other. for years, for years. And we we not only were we at Fox together, but in the later years, we've been doing a lot of public speaking events together. And of course, Judge Denine leaving Fox News so that she can serve our country as the U.

S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.

Well, I had an opportunity to sit down with the judge, and here's a little bit of that conversation.

Well, on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, we're honored to have a dear friend and a great American Patriot, Judge Janine Pirro, with us. Judge, it's been a long time, and I hope you're doing well. Go on. Doing great. I love it here in this office in DC, in the U.S.

Attorney's Office, and being the U.S. Attorney. It is certainly a challenge. It is one that I'm certainly up for. And I'm excited about this office because it's not just an office where we prosecute federal crime.

I mean, we do civil federal cases as well, obviously, but we also have a huge part of the office that is your basic DA jurisdiction, which is what I did for 32 years actually. where we do all the local crime, the violent crime, the drug. You know, the rape, the domestic violence, the guns, the drug trafficking, the robberies, the burglaries. Uh and of course I'm trying to get my hands on juvenile crime because when I got here, I realized that there was so much juvenile crime going on for which those people on the DC Council believe that juveniles shouldn't really be accountable for in criminal court.

So that has been my main mission for the last couple of months that I've been here. There's been a lot of talk about the National Guard and the increase in law enforcement help there in the D.C. area. And I mean, it really has revolutionized the city. And Memphis, Tennessee, which is my hometown, is next on the agenda, President Trump sending the National Guard in.

What can the good people of a place like Memphis expect to see with this ramp up in law enforcement? What the good people of Memphis, and congratulations. I didn't know you were from Memphis, Todd. I think even more of you now. What they can expect is a return to safety.

Uh with the surge in DC, we saw the President Trump. Determination. and his use of resources in DC. have made DC a safer place. In fact, as a result of the surge, Todd, We've had a 53% decline in homicide.

10% decline in sexual abuse, 39% of violent crime. Uh and a forty-five percent uh a motor vehicle theft and a forty percent of theft uh from an auto.

So we've got some huge cases. Robberies are down 57%.

So it's a combination of not only arresting individuals quicker and in tune with along the moment that they are committing the crime. But it also Todd has a deter a deterrent effect. Because if you think that there are people on the street that are going to arrest you right away. You and I both know that you're not going to commit that crime if you think the chances are that you're going to get caught.

However, with juvenile crime, The juvenile crimes remain high because they're not afraid of being arrested. They know it's literally a joke. when you go into the family court here in DC. And that's why I'm fighting so hard to get my hands on these young juveniles. Who, after years of committing violent crimes and going to juvenile court because of their age.

They come out in their first foray in the criminal court as an adult. is a homicide.

So they literally build their way up and they get all of this. Basically, protection, and they get all of this, you know, non-resistant from the system.

So then they're out killing. People, which is no surprise, and young people with guns in DC. Is like a candy store with candy. I mean, they just go together. No, it's true.

You know, we literally have these conversations in Memphis because we're the same situation in my city where the juvenile crime is off the charts. And you literally have conversations that you'd rather be carjacked by an older person because they may actually let you live as opposed to these kids. That's a funny line. You'd rather be carjacked by an older person. uh because there'll be some accountability.

But here's the problem, Todd. The problem is that unfortunately the victim, especially the victim of a homicide or a shooting, doesn't care less the age of the shooter. Uh because it do it's not any less painful uh and it's not less lethal uh if a young person does it. And the people here on the DC council and some of these judges in the family court I mean, you know, they're so obsessed with the prefrontal lobe development in young people. I could give a damn about that.

I know that they know that they're going to get away with it. I know that they know that there are no consequences. And so my job is to get their tails over here in criminal court. start locking them up because I'm sick of this. And so are the people of this district.

People who come and visit here, Todd. You know, an intern from Massachusetts. You know, working for a congressman from Arkansas at 10:30 at night, not even goes out for a bite to eat. and gets shot in the middle of a shootout between these young thugs. 17-year-olds that literally have a record a mile long in the family court, but no one can talk about it.

Judge, you got a front row view to what I see as a clear and present danger to our nation, and this violent rhetoric coming directly from the Democrat Party. How concerned are you that they are fomenting and encouraging violence across the country against conservatives?

Well I think that one need only read the news in the last ten days. since Charlie Kirk, uh our good friend Charlie Kirk's assassination. you know, and the recent shooting at the ICE facility. I mean, there are individuals who are emboldened to continue to commit these crimes. and they feel that they are a hero for some segment of society.

And so they are not dissuaded or deterred from committing these crimes. And I think unfortunately we're going to see more of them. I'm ho I hope I'm wrong. But I think that there is this left wing cultivation of hate uh that is right now where if you're called a fascist, then you know they think it's okay to shoot you. And I think that the United States is going to have to come to grips with the fact that this violence That seems, as far as I'm concerned.

only go in one direction. Because the direction is, you know, let's go after President Trump, let's go after Charlie Kirk, let's go after the fascists, the Nazis. And they believe that they're doing something right. And you know, when people talk about well, sure, there is violence against elect But it's not this kind of foment. Where we pick a left leader and say, because he's a leftist, we're going after him.

There may be individuals. Situation. But these situations on the right are based upon the building up of hatred. And you know, the belief that violence is what the only way we're going to get rid of these people. And that's what we're seeing, unfortunately.

You know, when you look at what's happening in the aftermath of Charlie, and it's so exciting to see all these kids coming out and saying, you know what, I want to be Charlie Kirk. And you've got millions of kids having those conversations. And it concerns me when you see the rhetoric from the left has not tamped down. I think it's only gotten worse. And just the other day, you had conservative kids literally run off a university campus.

I mean, this is not sustainable as a country if we don't figure out how to deal with this.

Well, I it's so disappointing, Todd, to hear you ask the question and articulate it in that way. But the truth is, you're right, and it's not sustainable. And there's got to be some way where we can actually. Um make it stop. Put an end to it.

And you know, there's got to be sanctions, there's got to be consequences, and there will be. I mean, you know, this kid. Who's supposedly charged with assassinating our dear friend Charlie Kirk? I mean, you know. Is it one guy?

I mean, I don't know. I don't know if the investigation is over. Bought We've got to make everyone accountable. And when you think about what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania on july thirteenth, with President Trump in twenty twenty four. Uh You know, you say to yourself, okay, he was killed.

You know, they cremate the body. We can't get things like tattoos or what may have been on him or messages. He's cremated right away. And you say to yourself, you know, how are we going to learn what we should know about that? You know, and what about what happened in Butler?

What about those encrypted messages he had with on his phone and the apps with other countries? You know, we've got to find out more about this. It may be one person, or it may be a lot more, and that's what we've got to get involved in. Investigating and finding an end to. And I think that the idea that as Christians we respond to hate with love.

And that's what happened. I was at Charlie Kirk Memorial in Arizona this past Sunday. You know, it is a message that, you know, we're not going to burn down buildings. And we're not going to protest. And we're not going to set the world on fire.

We're going to pray. and we're gonna love God. And we're going to talk about what Charlie would have wanted. And I think that that is one of the only ways that we can fight this. And the more we do that, the more we send a message that these people are on the wrong side of history.

And it is about good and evil. And to me, it's about good and evil. It always has been. Absolutely. And again, yes, we forgive as Christians, but there's also responsibility and you've got to you've got to suffer the consequences of your actions.

Yeah. Yeah, and that's something. That unfortunately, people, when you look at what's happened with Luigi Mangione. I mean, he's seen as a hero by some people. You think he's worried about the consequences of his actions?

I mean, I don't know. I don't know much about him, nor do I care to. He's someone who's charged with cold-blooded murder. uh in the middle of New York City. He is not someone who's a hero and I don't understand it.

But I can tell you that having done this for 30 odd years now. You know, there are people who come out for these bad boys and think they can change them and support them. But at the same time, they are not worthy of that. That's Mike. Janine, I've got to ask you, we're we're going to our time is quickly f fading here, but do you miss Fox?

I mean, that's got that was was that a hard decision for you to make leave the your the great office at Fox News headquarters and and head down to DC?

Well, I got to tell you, it was not an easy decision, but it also was not that difficult because here I am returning to my wheelhouse. And doing what I do best. And I've been very fortunate. I had a great job at Fox. I love the people there.

I think the CEO, Suzanne Scott, is a phenomenal person. Uh and I have a lot of friends there, and I had great years there. And uh You know, I was lucky to be on the number one show, my justice with Judge Shanina on Saturday nights for over a decade. And then on the number one show on All News Cable on the five. Uh yeah, you know, those are difficult decisions.

But I made the sacrifice because I believe that my experience in law enforcement And given where we are in terms of our society and the hatred That people have for law and order, I thought I had to get back into the arena again and fight the fight. And in the end, we'll see ultimately what happens. But I'm not sorry at all that I left.

Well, my favorite story, I've never shared this, but you and I do a lot of speaking events at various places, and we both ended up in North Carolina, literally in the town that Mayberry from the old Andy Griffith show was based on. My only regret is we couldn't ride around in the old squad car, Janine. I remember that. I remember that. And you know, that's one of the great things about, um, You know, working at Fox and being able to go around the country and meet people, do interviews.

And then get out there and do speeches. I mean, right now, I'm so busy I can barely get through the day here, which is great. But we're turning things around in the U.S. Attorney's Office in DC. Uh this was a neglected office.

And right now, I'm looking for people who want To prosecute crime, who believe in truth and justice and law and order. And enough of this political nonsense. And they want to make sure that we make the district safe for the people who live, work, and visit the nation's capital. And thank God for Donald Trump. Who is willing to put the pedal to the metal and get the job done?

All right, ladies and gentlemen, the great U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Janine Pirow. Janine, always good hearing from you, my friend. Great talking to you two, Todd. Have a great day.

This is insane. Hello, everybody. Welcome back. Des Moines, Iowa. We've been telling you the stories about these high-profile illegals.

Well, it turns out that the superintendent of the public school system there in Des Moines, Iowa, which is the largest in the entire state, all right? The largest school district in the entire state. The superintendent turns out to be an illegal alien.

So late Friday, we got word that ICE agents arrested Andre, Ian Andre Roberts. who is the school superintendent. He's from Guyana and he's an illegal. He's been under a deportation order since May of 2024.

So now the question is: how in the world did this guy ever become a superintendent of a public school district in the United States of America? This is insane. So Fox News reports that when the guy found out ICE agents were on the way, he took off, he fled. He was captured and they found the guy, the superintendent of schools, in Des Moines with a loaded gun and a knife. That's according to our good buddy Bill Malugin over at Fox.

Again, this is the largest school district in the state of. Iowa.

So there are a lot of people weighing in, including. A number of nonprofit groups. It's called the Directors Council, and they focus on the city's black community. and they said the superintendent is a valued member of our board. Correct that was a valued member of the board.

They say that he's been a trusted partner, a dedicated advocate for equity, and an unwavering supporter of families and youths. in Polk County. They say his contributions to the Director's Council and the wider community are immeasurable. And I have no doubt about that, but it doesn't matter because the dude is illegal. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr.

See ya. And hello, everybody. Welcome to hour two of the big show. It is great to be back behind the microphone. Jeez Alou, it was six states in nine days.

And we had about a dozen events over those days.

So it is nice to be back behind the microphone and hanging out with you good people this hour of the show. We will be taking your calls, our telephone number, and write this number down, 901-260-5926. Again, that's 901-260-5926. Following some, of course, big stories, and we'll be covering these tonight on Newsmax as well. The president holding a joint presser with Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.

Then later this evening, we will all be watching as we wait to find out if the Democrats are going to shut down the federal government because they believe you, the American taxpayers, should be funding the health care of illegal aliens and paying the bills over at Sesame Street. It's pretty much that simple, folks.

So we'll be paying very close attention to all of those big stories throughout the day.

Well, another big story in the world of sports, and President Trump is really fired up About putting America on the global stage when it comes to sports. And he couldn't have picked a better person to head up the 2026 Men's World Cup task force, none other than Andrew Giuliani, who is the son of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. And he joins us today on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Andrew, man, it is good to catch up with you again. Todd, always great to be with you.

I was with the President on a Friday out at the Ryder Cup, cheering on. The American team that almost had one of the greatest comebacks in sports history yesterday. The way he views this World Cup and the Olympics coming up in twenty twenty eight is It's a great opportunity to celebrate the really American exceptionalism over our first two hundred and fifty years? And what better stage to do it than the global stage of the World Cup. I want to go back to the Ryder Cup for just a moment because it looked incredible, at least on camera, on television, the response the President was getting there.

Was it that exciting there in person? Oh, it was one hundred percent. I mean, it really was amazing to actually see, especially in a blue state like New York, it makes you look when you see the The response that Kathy Hochl got on Wednesday during the opening ceremony. where she was mentioned three times and and booed ruthlessly. All three times, and then you go see.

a president who actually gets things done. the appreciation that New Yorkers Had for him, it was very, very impressive. And it came not just From the players actually came from a lot of the European players. as well, funny enough, even though they were competing against the United States, But certainly, all the fans, all the Long Islanders, and all those that came in from across the country. and across the world to to watch Yeah.

uh the President as there was a uh Incredible flyover. with the stars and stripes of the national anthem playing To then hear the rousing ovation of the President walking on the first tee with Rice and D. Chambeau and team. it was pretty impressive. And just a small taste of what next year's World Cup looks like and the perspective that I give America Under 130 million people watch the Super Bowl, 2 billion watch the World Cup finals.

So it is the Wow. Yeah, so I mean, yeah, no pressure here. How do you prepare for something like that? What's the game plan? A great question.

And really, what it comes down to is it comes down to making sure that state and locals are as prepared as possible as this is an all of continent approach. It's it's not just the eleven American host cities. You also have games in uh three Mexican cities games in in Canada. as well between Vancouver and Toronto. The state and locals need to be as prepared as possible because there's obviously limited federal resources to go around, especially when you consider.

That you're going to also have our nation's two hundred fifth birthday coming right over the middle of that tournament. But with that being said, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of War, The FBI, the Secretary of State, State Department. is preparing every single day uh to not just host the world, but to make sure uh that these games are safe. that um that that that that these games are defined by what actually happens on the field, or I guess on the pitch is the best way to stay aside. uh and not something that happens off the field.

Uh like you know you think Like you think about with the Munich Olympics, for example. If we're talking about What a great play that was made, or the fact that there's great legacy items coming out of this World Cup. then we've done our job, then we've empowered the state and locals in all these areas to be as strong as possible. And we're making sure more than anything that a lot of these regions that maybe over the last five or six years Haven't been focused on public safety. Maybe they've been resisting public safety because of political sentiment.

or having a renewed focus on public safety and the importance of it. Going into this World Cup. No, look, I think this is going to be an exciting time for the country. And beyond just the whole spectatorship and going to the matches, you're going to have a massive business influx as well. And I have to imagine a lot of business owners across America are really going to see some money flowing into the coffers as a result of this.

100%. And I think it actually shows. Just how effective President Trump's First nine months have been. We just got a report from the Department of Commerce and Secretary Luttnick and his team. that the first six months of the United States uh of this term have actually set a record in international Poorest dollars spent in the United States of America over a six-month period.

at $127 billion.

So the President is really focused on ways attract international tourists that want to come in and spend their hard-earned dollars here. on American businesses. And so when you actually kind of look at the the dual combination of making sure the country is safer. uh deporting uh uh criminal illegal immigrants. While also making sure that he is attracting.

People that can spend their hard-earned dollars here in the United States on U.S. businesses. This is setting up to be a massively successful World Cup. Just as is seen already, just nine months out. And not only that, and by the way, folks, we've got Andrew Giuliani on the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line today.

And Andrew, I think the president selecting you for this job, it's like one of these for such a time as this moments. I mean, you were, and the president is out, he praises your golf game a lot in public, which means you're very, very good. And the president, that's going to be a lot of fun, you know, working alongside a president who loves sports and is also highly competitive himself. Oh, it's You know, look, I've known the president now for almost 25 years. I go back to You know, uh, when I was a teenager with them.

So it's uh i it's amazing to obviously. uh see how he's been able to you know, take the world of politics, which which I grew up in. um and really um take a a common sense business approach to it, right? And I was just talking about this with one of our task force members the other day, whereas so many other politicians uh when they get to the point of of policy, they look at Well how was it done before? What the President's approach is simply is the way it was done before, is it effective?

It's an if it's not effective, let's go find an effective way and let's make sure that we actually do it that way. It's about what's effective, it's about what's efficient. It's not just about the status quo, and that's honestly. Why I think he's been able to be so. Not just as a politician, which is what so many people talk about.

But as a policymaker as well, that's really where you know, in my lifetime, not just the most successful politician I've seen, but also policymaker. And I think that's what you're seeing more and more out of the first nine months Uh, of this of this term, and that's what so impressed me. As for my golf game. It's unfortunately gotten significantly worse over the last few months as I've been spending so much time on this. But one day I hope to swing the golf clubs again.

I I can I can tell you this. Had I played for Team Europe this weekend, the U.S. would have won handily. No doubt about it. No doubt about it.

Andrew, we got to leave it there. Look, we're going to get you back on. I know there's going to be a lot going on, a lot happening, and we're really excited about this great role for you. And it's going to be, I'll tell you what, you're going to make the country proud. Thank you, Todd.

I really appreciate it. And again, as I talk with the President the first time on this, the World Cup is a great opportunity to show off the first 250 years of American exceptionalism. And really, the hope and promise of our next 250 years.

So it's an exciting time. among other major events like America two hundred fifty. Uh to go along with Sail 250 and and then obviously Olympics in 2028. By the way, Andrew, how's your dad doing? Is is he uh getting back up after that accident?

He's doing great, thank God. You know, I was just speaking with him earlier today. He's doing physical therapy. He's walking. He's in some pain.

But, you know, he's looking for his next fight. And that's the That's what the world needs out of Rudy Giuliani.

So, you know, I'm so proud of the son. to see everything he's overcome over the last five years. Uh and uh you know, he is he is tough as nails. The Fighting Giulianis. Ha ha ha ha.

There you go. That's good. That has a nice ring to it right there. I like it. All right, Andrew, appreciate it.

We're going to have to leave it there, but always good hearing from you, my friend. Thank you, Todd. Really appreciate you. All right. Good man, right there, everybody.

Andrew Giuliani. And it's going to be a lot of fun. Dylan, are you a big soccer guy? I've never been into the football, but uh I've watched a couple of games.

Okay. And they say football. We're sort of Southeastern Conference football. Everything else is, you know, bush league. It's true.

Outside of that. I mean, that's the way that goes. All right. We've got to take a quick break here, folks. Again, our number: 901-260-5926.

I told you, it's going to be a wild day. We already had Judge Janine Pirro on, now Andrew Giuliani, a lot happening around the country. And the big question facing a lot of lawmakers right now is: what do we do with the government shutdown? And a lot of this is political theater. But I'm telling you, the Republicans, they're going to have to hold their grounds on this, folks.

There's really no way around it. The Democrats literally want to undo all of the executive orders President Trump has signed. And we just can't let that happen. We just can't.

So the question is, if the Democrats refuse to budge, do we shut down the government? Yes or no? 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. At the Crystal Coast, you'll find unrivaled beauty and the perfect vacation for everyone in the family.

Um All right, and again, want to say thank you to our good friend Mary Walter for filling in last week. She did a great job, and you guys just did a heck of a job. Just showing her some great hospitality.

Also, I want to thank our good buddy Jeff Stein, who heads up KXEL, our big blowtorch of a station in Iowa. And last night, we had over 250 people come out for the America 250 gala. What a wonderful crowd. Just about everybody running for office, and they've got people running for the Senate. The governor's mansion, Congress, met a lot of great American patriots last night, and we just had an absolute great time.

So, I want to thank Jeff Stein for all the hospitality, picking me up, and getting me to where I needed to be there in Waterloo, Iowa. Let's go to the phone lines as promised: 901-260-5926. Let's say hello to Sonny in Ocala, Florida. Hi, Sonny. What's going on?

I turned. You know what this upcoming uh money shortage, I'll put it that way. We need this spending bill. And you notice The Demirats Don't want to know from nothing unless you go along with their ball game and they add a trillion dollars to whatever. money they need to continue government until the fiscal year comes.

To me is ridiculous. When Biden was in, I think it was the third year or something like that. They had a spending bill, which was okay by the Republicans. passed and then all of a sudden before the quarter was up, They had to have another spending bill. The pairs.

And of course, the Republicans went along with it. We don't want to shut down government. What a horrible thing to think of.

Well, I think you ought to investigate this swineball Chucky Schumer. the senator that's holding up this bill now. But a Republican spending bill. 'Cause he's the one that wants to add all kinds of add-ons to this. And this is not right.

We're gonna l Short of money. That, uh Brain. Yeah, it's a good point, Sonny. At the end of the day, though, do you want to let the De gov the Democrats shut down the government? Is that because we can't give an inch.

The Republicans cannot go back and undo President Trump's executive orders. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. That's exactly what I'm saying. Good, good.

Yeah, Sonny, it's a great, great point you make. Good hearing from you, my friend. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. Let's go to Ronnie in Statesville, North Carolina, WSIC.

Hi, Ronnie. I drove through your town just the other day. Oh, I missed you. What's going on, Roddy? What's on your mind?

Let's stop well, I don't know who you would talk to to stop it, let's stop all this plea bargaining that the courts do when uh the judge sentences, say, a young kid for throwing rocks at a police officer or something. He gets arrested and goes to court, gets two years put in court and the young lawyer comes along along with lawyer appointed lawyer comes along, wants to reduce that sentence to a year. I think we should start boot camp back up.

So well, look, I think we ought to have corporal punishment back in the schools. I think that we need to give teachers more rights and the ability, the authority to control what's happening in their classrooms. I've spoken to so many teachers Over the past, gosh, week and a half on the road, Ronnie. And they say they're not able to do anything with these little thuglings that are in their classroom. And administration won't do anything, the cops won't do anything.

And so the poor teachers are stuck, and many of them are fearful of their lives because these are little Hellions. You know, moms and dads just aren't doing their job anymore, and they're shipping these kids off to school. The kids don't know how to behave, they act like animals. And then you wonder why we have teacher shortages all over the country. I'm not terribly surprised.

Ronnie, got a run, but thank you for that call. 901-260-5926. I was talking with a friend of mine. His name is Pastor Tom Askell. And many of you follow this guy on the socials.

And he was at the airport in Dallas, a very, very dear friend of ours. Vodie Bockam passed away last week. and suffered a massive medical emergency and died. He was only fifty six years old. And I've known Vodi for years.

We've done a lot of events together. And I knew he had been in bad health for a while.

Well, Tom had flown to Dallas to be with Vodi's family and to minister with the family. He's coming back, and you know, it was a stressful thing. He saw there was an announcement about a chapel and that you could come and you could pray in the chapel. It was for everybody.

So so Tom, who is a Southern Baptist pastor, went to the chapel. And he noticed it was filled with Muslims with their prayer rugs. And the Muslim Imam stopped Pastor Askel and said, No, no, only Muslims are allowed in here. Christians are not allowed in the chapel at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. What's that all about, ladies and gentlemen?

What the heck is going on in the state of Texas where Christians are denied access to a church? Chapel. 901-260-5926. That is our telephone number. Hang tight.

We've got a lot more. We're just getting started, everybody. We'll be right back. All right, welcome back, everybody. Oh my goodness, what a day.

May I just ask a question? And I'm not going to name names. I won't even tell you what airline I was on. But I've been on a lot of airplanes. Over the past, gosh, seven, eight days now.

Nine days. Been on a lot of airplanes. And I've just noticed a couple of things. First of all, I'm just wondering, why is it? And I don't.

Help me understand this. Why is it that people don't bathe? Right, there is, I'm not sure what's going on at the airport, but there are people that are boarding that airplane. And for whatever reason, for all of my flights, I was in the very first seat, right?

So I get to smell everybody that's coming on board that airplane. I am telling you, folks, it's so bad. I'm wanting to go and get a bottle of Febreze if it would have made it through the TSA checkpoint and just. offer a squirt or two. To the pastors.

I just don't get that. And I understand body odor, but cheese a little. There's a reason why God gave us right card. And whatever the lady product is. Is it ladyguard?

I don't know what it is. Anyway, there's something called soap. Please use it before you go to the airport. That's all I'm saying. All right, let's go to the phone lines here.

Chris in Houston, listening to us on Patriot Talk 920. Hi, Chris. What's on your mind today? I had a question for you. Popped into my mind when you were doing the interview with Judge Janine.

Um The Robert Heinlein book. Starship Troopers. had proposed that, you know, w uh one of the ways we can um get parents to start taking responsibility for their kids is Give them the corporal punishment alongside their kids. I kind of like to hear your thoughts on it one way or the other.

So if a child does something wrong, let's just say, um. The child beats somebody up at school, or are you talking about something harsher like a carjacking or a shooting or something like that? Ah I guess the well, that's where justice comes in. The punishment should fit the crime.

So here's the deal. If you've got, I will say this, maybe there should be a cutoff.

So let's just say you've got a kid. And he's gone out there and he's committed a crime two or three times. At that point, I would be a willy to say, you know what? Yeah, I think that whatever the punishment the kid gets, mom and dad ought to get the same punishment. What do you think about that, Chris?

Oh, absolutely. I think it should start with point offense number one. Oh, so you w so you're playing hard you're playing hardball. Oh, it would have done me a world of good when I was a kid.

Well, I'm just going to tell you, in the household I grew up in, I was more terrified of the punishment I was going to get at home, not at school. All right, Chris. Yeah, appreciate that call, Chris. Thank you for listening today. Speaking of Houston, have you guys seen this crazy story?

You know, people decorate for Halloween. And back in the day, we used to be pretty old school. We would do like the jack-o'-lanterns, right? You'd go and get a pumpkin and then carve out some spooky thing and put a candle in the pumpkin. And that was pretty much the extent of the Halloween stuff.

And now it's like It's like everybody's decorating the front yards. They've got skeletons everywhere, dead bodies, which I gotta tell you, I wish you wouldn't do that in Memphis because we have enough real dead bodies. You know, it's hard dealing with the fake dead bodies. The poor cops. I hate it for him this time of year.

So anyway. There's a story out of Houston.

Some guy, his name, oh well it's not some guy, his name is Mark Rodriguez. He lives in Houston's second ward. This is coming from CBS News. Made the national headlines, by the way, Mr. Rodriguez did with his decorations.

He decided to set up this thing in the front yard. And there were. Two mannequins wearing red baseball caps, the MAGA hats. And he decided to lynch them. There were nooses around their necks and zip ties.

They were placed next to a Mexican flag. And then there was a third figure, Dressed in traditional Mexican garments, sort of looks like a poncho. And so the gist of the Halloween display is that some Mexican dude. was lynching to MAGA people. And people are really upset about this.

And people are demanding action. They say that mister Rodriguez needs to take down his display there in Houston's Second Ward. There are others, though, who are defending Mr. Rodriguez.

Now, he did an interview with a local TV station, KPRC. He said, I've had good and bad controversy on it.

Some people talk real good about it, some people talk real bad. But the way I tell them, by no means am I threatening nobody.

So the guy says he's really not threatening anybody by lynching white MAGA people. I that's what he's saying here. And of course, all the leftists are jumping in and they're saying, well, this is the guy's First Amendment rights. And he went on to tell the television station that he was making a political statement. He believes that he said his community lives in fear right now.

So I'm going to stop right there. What does he mean by his community? Is he talking about the illegals? Is that what he's talking about? Because if that's the case, maybe the Borders are might want to pay a visit to the Halloween display.

But I'm not sure what he means by that.

So we're just going to assume that he means. the Hispanic community at large. He says, Our community lives in fear right now. The schools, people are dropping the enrollment in the schools, the restaurants are low, the community, everybody's scared. He says, I like practicing our First Amendment rights.

I'm by no means threatening anybody. This is not a threat. towards any agency or officers. Really because that's exactly how I see this. I mean, the guy is lynching.

A couple of white people wearing MAGA hats Anyway, people are saying, and it seems as though. All the TV stations and newspapers in town are defending this guy for his Halloween display, Lynching MAGA People. As a matter of fact, KPRC reached out to the local police department, the Houston PD. And As far as everybody knows, there's no crime that's been committed. And they say no neighbors have complained about the controversial Halloween display.

So I'm just going to pop it. A thought here as we go to break. And I just want us to think about this Halloween display. Because the reason why it's in the national media is because the national media wants to use this as a defense of free speech, no matter how offensive it might be.

So how do you think? the media would respond if instead of a Mexican in a poncho lynching a couple of MAGA dudes, what if you had a guy and again, a mannequin dressed as a KKK person Lynching Two Black Dudes. How do you think the mainstream media would react to that? Do you think they would be embracing the whole free speech, no matter how offensive it is, line of thought here? I don't think so.

All right, good to have you back with us, everybody. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Let's go to the phone lines back to Ocala, Florida. WOCA is our great affiliate. Sean wants to weigh in on those Halloween decorations.

Hey, Sean, what's going on? Hello, Sean. All right, let's put Sean on hold and get all that figured out. We'll get back to Sean in just a moment. You know, it's um It's very interesting, folks, when you look at what's been happening around the country in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination.

And we've been. I There are I'm trying to find a polite way to say this. There are a lot of grifters out there. in the conservative world especially. A lot of people have tried to leech on to uh President Trump.

To Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk. Everybody's out there now trying to say that they are the next Charlie Kirk. And we've had a lot of people reach out to me personally. And they said, Oh, you know, we've we have a massive platform and we want to come on and talk about how we're going to we're going to do X, Y and Z and we're going to raise up all the young people. You know, I'm not interested in that.

I'm not interested in hearing what you're going to do. I'm interested in what you are doing. And if you're not doing something, you're not going to get a platform, at least on this talk radio show, because we don't buy into all of that. And we also do our due diligence in checking out our guests. Because there are so many people that are trying to mooch off of the conservative movement.

And I got to tell you, I'm done with it. And it's really disgusting. I get it on the liberal side. That's what they do. I never expected to see that happen on the conservative side.

But a lot of people are out there stealing content. They're really misrepresenting who they are. And I got a problem with that. And we're going to do our best moving forward to alert you to those folks that we think are out there taking advantage of Charlie Kirk's good name. And that's just not right.

All right, I think we got. Sean back in Ocala. All right, Sean, what say you? What say I, Tod? Good good show today, excellent.

Um You know the hypocrisy if the rev goals were reversed. primarily to break And it was, say, a scarecrow or a white individual hanging Mexicans or the hanging black people There would be media outrage. I mean, obviously this is Yeah, I think it's a very good idea.

So look at the hypocrisy and if we were to reverse the roles. And as you were just saying, with the Charlie Kirk situation, The left you know, they could slander us. The way they treat us in the media, even the way leftists treat you in person when they. Even if they don't see a MAGA hat, I've had it happen where they find out that I'm a conservative and a Trump supporter. And the disdain It isn't.

Disgusting, as you said. And maybe, no, maybe it is time, and you're right. that we start taking a stand back. As conservatives, We've been nice and godly.

Okay. And treated them well throughout since the Obama administration. We're talking about the fundamental transformation of America. Started in 09, in my opinion. And it's just the race the race dating and Just the racial tensions.

I mean, that poor girl, and not have even forgotten about her name, the one that was. stabbed on the bus. Uh no, on the train. I mean, people forget. I just forgot.

People forget what happens. It's time to stand up. That's all I'm going to say. Yeah, look, this kind of stuff is disgusting. But you know what?

It's the guy's private property. And I will say I'm a free speech guy. It's your private property. If you're not violating your HOA rules, you can put whatever you want to on your property so long as it's not violating the law. And again, I don't know.

It tells me a lot about that person. They're pretty despicable human beings. They've got clearly dark souls to put something like that up. And I would say the same thing about somebody that tried to put up a display lynching a black person for Halloween. But I'm telling you, the double standard in the media, because the media is defending this guy, oh, he's got free speech rights.

Would they be saying the same thing if that whole exhibit? Was a Klan, a KKK guy lynching black dudes. And I would bet you. A double double jungle style at In N Out. That they would not.

It's putting a lot of money on the line there.

So, Sean. Thank you for calling it. It's a fair point you raised. But the question is, and Sean raises a pretty interesting point, Erina question. How far do, you know, where do we, where do, where do we go forward, moving forward?

And I say this: we cannot adapt the tactics of the left. We cannot do that. Because We serve a much higher power. And we can't go down that path. That's not what we're called to do.

But what we can do. What we can do is start focusing, and this was my message last night in Iowa, in Waterloo, at the convention center. My message is we've got to We've got to reach out to the young people of America. And we've got to educate them. about what it means to be a conservative, what it means to love this country.

what it means to be a patriot. You know, I looked out over the crowd, and I made this observation. It was a beautiful crowd, very attractive, conservative people in Iowa. And it must be because, you know, they have they they're healthy eaters out there. But I didn't see many young people in the crowd.

And we had several hundred people, they didn't seem any young people. And my encouragement to the folks in Waterloo and in Blackhawk County is the same. Is the same recommendation I'm making to Republican groups across the country. And I'm going to be speaking in a lot of them from here until the end of the year. And we've got to come up with ways to reach out to younger Americans.

We've got to make sure that our Local government-funded schools are not filling the minds of our kids with anti-American propaganda. We've got to do that. And as much as I appreciate all those folks running for office, for me, the most important The most important role in a local community is at the school board level. And we've got to fix what's broken in our education system. I've heard from so many teachers that say, Todd, I have to keep my viewpoints quiet.

I'm not allowed to be a Christian. I'm not allowed to display Christian imagery in my classrooms. I'm not allowed to pray. I'm not allowed to talk about politics. But look, the alphabet mafia, they're able to come in and do classes, and we'll talk more about a story involving that coming up after the break.

So we have got a lot of work to do in the coming year. And hear me on this. If we're not careful, We will lose the momentum out of this horrible, horrible tragedy that happened. And we can't let that happen. We can't We can't let what Turning Point USA has done just wither on the vine.

We have got to take that and we have got to grow that. Movement. And that is going to require authenticity. I have a lot of conservative kids that ask me: what does it take to. to make it in the the conservative commentator world.

And the answer is very simple. You have to be authentic and you have to be true to yourself. And if you are not, I'm not. I'm telling you, conservatives can smell a phony two miles away. Five miles away.

We can. And so you've got to be authentic. Be yourself. You gotta do that. All right, and we gotta take a break.

All right, 901-260-5926. Our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926. Hang tight, everybody. This is the Todd Stern Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee.

It's America's conservative blowtorch. See ya. That's right. I love this American. All right, it is hour three of the big show.

The government shutdown is looming. And look, this is on the Democrats. It's on the Democrats. Hello, everybody. Welcome.

Great to have you with us. And it is great to be back behind the micro. I'm going to make a promise to you. I promise I will never be gone that long again. It was a long trip.

It was a lot of fun. We had a great time and met so many of our awesome listeners across the country. But I'm telling you, sweet mercy, that is a lot of traveling. And I'm not cut out for that amount of traveling.

So, anyway, very happy to be with you today. You know, one of the things, and we're sort of doing what we call a soft launch of a project. And one of the things that we're trying to do. at Sterns Media Group, and that's the the company I own. And we out of that, we have this national radio show, we have our digital platform, and we have KWAM News Radio in Memphis, among other things.

And one of the things we've noticed a lot of news organizations doing, for example, the Associated Press and the local newspapers are doing this, is that they're encouraging people to support their liberal organizations, their liberal newspapers, their liberal radio stations. And so we thought, well, wait a second. If if the left can do that, then why can't we do that on the conservative side of the ledger?

So, we have created an opportunity and a way for you to support the Todd Stern show. And we plan on growing our news division. We're going to be hiring some new reporters and really beefing up the kind of coverage that we provide you over at ToddSterns.com. But the only way we're going to be able to do that is if you, the great listeners of our program, lend us a helping hand. And so, we've given you the opportunity to do that.

If you go to ToddSterns.com, that's ToddSterns.com, and you'll see at the very top of the page how you can support our show. And you can become a one-time or monthly or yearly donor to our cause as we continue providing high-quality journalism for Christians and conservatives across America.

So I hope you head over there, ToddSterns.com. We're not going to beat you over the head with this every single day, but we are starting our campaign. And we have a certain goal in mind. And I'll share that with you down the road in a month or so. But we want to start the campaign this week.

And we want to encourage you to go to ToddSterns.com. We made it super simple. You can make a one-time monthly or yearly donation to our cause here at Sterns Media Group. And again, ToddSterns.com is the website. Can we talk about this guy?

So the Super Bowl announced. their big half time performer for the sixtieth anniversary of the Super Bowl. And it seems to me, Dylan, that's like a pretty big deal. I mean, that's a huge anniversary for the Super Bowl. And it seems to me that you would want some sort of iconic person to be your Super Bowl half time entertainer.

I'd say that's fair. It's one of the biggest, like, concerts, if you're a music artist, that you'll ever be a part of, if you get to do it.

So I'm unfamiliar with Bad Bunny. And I don't I've never heard of this guy, but apparently he's incredibly popular. and he has been selected to be the performer at halftime at the Super Bowl. I'm right there with you. I got a question.

Is it Mr. Bunny or Miss Bunny? Hmm. Because he wears dresses. Yeah, he does.

Right, and he wears very like he does like he's got fingernail, he paints his fingernails, he does a lot of very effeminate stuff, and he's not. When it comes to being transgender, he's not a good-looking woman. If that's the look he's trying to pull off, I don't think it's working for him. No. Not quite.

Yeah, I so I just don't get this.

So You know, just when you think. the National Football League finally has their act together. After the whole Colin Kaepernick mess and the BLM stuff, and just beating us over the heads with all of the social justice garbage. We thought we really did think they had learned their lesson and that they were turning a corner here. But clearly they're not.

So this guy is a piece of work. He's originally from uh Puerto Rico. The Lovely Islands And he hates America. He really does.

So the guy's name is Bad Bunny. What's his real name? Do we know his real name? We'll get his real name. But anyway, he goes by the name Bad Bunny.

We don't know why, but that's that's who he is. Anyway, the guy said that he wasn't ever going to perform in the continental United States again because Ice was deporting illegals, which is what they ought to be doing. He's also a massive, massive Trump hater, and he doesn't sing his songs in English.

So What's this all about? This makes no sense to me. Why? I want somebody at the NFL to explain exactly why. This guy who hates Trump Hates America.

and refuses to sing in English, why this guy is the perfect choice to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of the National Football League. By the way, this is what he said. Blanking ice could be outside my concert. And it's something that we were talking about and we're very concerned about. People are saying that the NFL is literally self-destructing right now.

with uh mister uh mister Bad Bunny. I found his name. Yeah. You ready for it? I'm ready.

Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio Oh, I wonder if he's ready to Cortez. I was wondering the same thing. AOC. They're kind of built the same. You know, she's kind of packing on the.

And it's look, and I don't fault AOC because you're eating at all these rubber chicken dinners, you know, you're on the circuit, and you don't have a chance to get your Pilates in.

So you're going to pack on a few pounds. I had a salad last night, by the way. I'm proud of you. Thank you.

Well, there was a big side of pork alongside of it, but it was a salad. It's a side. It is a side. I have not heard of this guy's music. I will just say this.

And I think, as part of the Super Bowl, you would think. Like an artist that everyone has heard of, at least one song. I do not think I could recall any of them. No, because you don't speak Spanish. It's true.

Yeah. This is insanity.

So, anyway, this guy, I'm just wondering what's going on at NFL headquarters. That's what I want to know. What's going on here? is absolutely insane. And again, it's not like this was.

I mean, we've got plenty of other folks. Pick any country music artist, they would be awesome. When was the last time we had a country music artist perform at the Super Bowl? I think Chris Stapleton doing the national anthem was the last time. And that was like.

One of the best. That was pretty awesome. I would love to see him. That was pretty awesome. So, this guy's apparently the most streamed artist in the world.

And he's also a three-time Grammy Award winner. Oh, he's one of these crotch grabbers. You know, they have a powder for that. Just saying.

So anyway, they um They haven't made a statement explaining all of this, and I think they have to. But uh the guys from Puerto Rico, thirty one years old, ten Grammy nominations, three wins for best Latin pop or urban album. for Y H L O M D L G. What does that even mean? Best Musica Urbana album.

For el amito tur del mondo. Movie local Some of his other awards include the American Music Award for Favorite Latin Artist, the B.E.T. Award for Single of the Year. Is that cultural appropriation? I'm just throwing that out there, just asking.

and also a s a single of the year for his hit song I Like It with Cardi B.

So, bad, by the way, here we go, Dylan. Bad Bunny's top songs are something called. T T me Pregnuto. That sounds really naughty. And Cape Passeria.

I don't know what these were. I may be cursing in Spanish, and I may not. You may have to dump, hit the dump button. Because I have no idea what these means. No idea what these songs mean.

So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The 60th edition of the Super Bowl. You better brush up on your Spanish. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.

This is the Todd Starn Show. And welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Starnes Radio Show. And again, head over to ToddSterns.com and you will see. Just click on the story: How to Support the Todd Starnes Show, and you can make a donation.

We had a number of people already making donations in the commercial break, and you can do so at your leisure by simply going to toddstarnes.com. All right, there is there's a story. And it's out of Memphis, Tennessee. And I'm really fascinated to hear your thoughts on this. And the local media in the Memphis area They are hauling out every sob story regarding illegal aliens.

So we're expecting the National Guard. My understanding is they were supposed to be here, what, today? I mean, the orders went out. Ladies of the Mid-South, wear your Sunday finest. Go bake a casserole and welcome the fighting men to, you know, the the mid-south.

It's it's sort of like Paris on Liberation Day.

So, anyway, a part of that whole thing is ICE. We have had so many ICE agents and they have been rounding up a lot of illegals.

So, here's the headline: from WREG. Tennessee man missing after ice transfer family searches for answers.

Well, first of all, the guy's not missing. He got sent back to whatever his home country was. I mean, that's a pretty simple thing. But the way this story goes, this is why I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this.

So the The guy is adopted.

So a middle Tennessee moment. is asking where her adopted son is after he was detained by ICE agents, brought to a detention facility, and then moved. Leslie Whitehead said her 24-year-old son, Isaiah Cabrera. Called her Saturday night. said he was being transferred from the facility.

said he called me panicked, Didn't know where he was going. Cabrera has lived almost his entire life in the United States. His mother said he was brought to America when he was only seven months old. She became his legal guardian when his biological parents were deported in two thousand one.

So let's stop here for just a moment.

So it seems to me that this woman who became the legal guardian is somewhat responsible for all of this mess. Why did she not? Go through the paperwork to get this, to get this guy at the time a baby. to become a legal citizen of America. They knew Mom and Dad, and so Mom and Dad were deported in two thousand one.

Cabrera lives in Halls, Tennessee. worked various jobs from fixing fences to detailing cars, but his focus was starting his family. and raising his baby girl, who means the world to him. and I have no doubt about any of this. Hard worker, family man.

He's just illegal. Earlier this month he was pulled over for a broken taillight. Oh, they're doing that, by the way, Dylan. Just had some. When he didn't have proper ID, he was sent to the ICE Detention Center in Mason.

They've tried to get Cabrera a green card over the years, but she says the prices for proper registration have gotten out of control. We checked into the price of getting green cards and a visa, and it was running like $16,000 for the whole process. And unless you're rich, You can't afford that. Is that true? This is the first time hearing that there is a cost factor here.

Cabrera never learned Spanish. And his mother says he's having a hard time being surrounded by people he can't communicate with. He said the sergeant doesn't like him because he speaks better English. Then he did. I have no doubt about that.

No doubt at all.

So the question now is What happens to this guy? He was brought here he was brought here as an infant by his illegal alien parents. The illegal alien parents got deported. And then this guy got a legal guardian when he was, I guess, seven or eight months old. And the mom, the adopted mother, says, well, you know, it was just too expensive.

At what point, though, did somebody say, Hey, we've got a problem here? Did they bother to reach out to their local elected leaders, their congressmen, their senator? All of this was left out of the story. And I feel bad for this guy, but again, this goes back to the heart of the issue. Are you here legally or illegally?

I'm just curious, how is it this guy was able to pay taxes? Does he have a social security card? If so, where did he get that social security card? Because he's an illegal alien, and illegals don't have social security cards.

So, how is it that this guy was, for example, a driver's license? Did the guy have a driver's license? If so, how did he get a driver's license? I had, if you've had to go get your driver's license, which I did about four or five months ago, you've got to have all sorts of paperwork.

So again, I feel like I'm not sure. I feel bad for the family here. And I feel bad for this guy. And I'm wondering, did this guy know At somewhere along the line did did the guy figure out, oh, wait a second, I'm not actually a citizen of America? That's a fair question.

Should grace be shown in this particular incident? Or Or do we still play hard line border security and say if you are here illegally, and it doesn't matter who you are or how long you've been here or whether or not you are a productive member of society, you are not a legal member of society, so you have to go back. And then you have to come here the legal way. My problem is for almost 24 years. Every person in this guy's life knew that he was an illegal, and nobody did anything about it.

That's where I've got the problem. But again, these newspapers and TV stations, they're not going to do deep dives either because the reporters are just, what's the clinical word, stupid, or They're just propagandists. And they are playing on the heartstrings. They want to tug on the heartstrings of people. In the Memphis area.

901-260-5926. Our telephone number. That's 901-2656. 260-5926. We'll take your calls.

You think the guy needs to be Given a chance here, or does he get the heave-ho? Coming up, I've got a way on this story out of. Grand Blanc, Michigan. This guy Marine veteran, Iraq war veteran? driving his truck through the front of a Mormon church?

Opened fire on worshipers, set the building on fire. You know what I'm more disgusted by in this story? Aside from the fact that what this guy did and he's a monster, a demon monster It's the reaction from a lot of Christians. It's it's shocking to me.

Now, look, we have something in this country called freedom of religion. You can be a Baptist, you can be a Methodist. You can be Jewish, you can be an atheist, you can be a Mormon. You can even be a Muslim. My philosophy is As long as you don't try to blow me up, I'm okay with your religion.

That's pr that's that's the low bar for me. But the idea that people are just maybe being so dismissive of this because it's a Mormon church is beyond me. And it's and it's shameful. Eyewitnesses say that kids were shot. What, four people died?

And parents were literally, the adults were shielding the children as this monster. This demon comes in and just starts shooting everybody and sets the whole building on fire. It's sickening. And apparently, the guy hated Mormons. That's why he did it.

And he was apparently. According to the information we've got, planning on going after other Religious denominations as well. Anyway, we're certainly praying for all of those who were injured and. My goodness, what a terrible story out of Michigan. All right, hang tight, everybody.

I got to take a break. 901-260-5926. Head over to ToddSterns.com, make a donation, and. Let's help Starnes Media Group. We'll be right back, everybody.

Oh Lord, I'm already getting hate mail. It's too early in the week for this. You're just a big memey, you just your xenophobic studs.

Well, no, I'm not xenophobic. I'm just pro-America. And look, here's the deal. All these illegals that are getting Tuition assistance. They're getting government-funded health care.

They're getting welfare. Those are dollars and those are programs That are not going to help. American citizens.

Now here's my one caveat. If we reach a point in this nation And hear me on this, if we reach a point in the nation, Where Everybody is taken care of, so there are no more homeless people. There are no more homeless veterans. that every veteran in America has access to the finest health care. When we get to that point, okay, then I would be willing to allow some of our resources to be used to help other people.

But there's a reason we have countries that are supposed to take care of their own people. That's all I'm saying here. And it is not mean. It's not cold-hearted. This is rooted, by the way.

In the Holy Bible. And we're not going to go through and have a sermon today. But I'm just telling you that A lot of this would be resolved if people would just start reading their Bibles again and going to church on Sundays. All right, welcome back. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show 901-260-5926.

Our number, that's 901-2600. two six zero five nine two six There's a weird story out of the Nashville area. There is a school there called Lipscomb Academy. It's a private Christian school. And they have rules and regulations.

And so, anyway, there was a they have a dress code. And so the other day A bunch of the boys decided they wanted to honor Charlie Kirk.

So these young men decided to wear red ties as a part of their. their school uniform. And one of the principals apparently got wind of all of this. And by the way, we have a photograph. You can actually see the young men over on our uh Facebook page, Todd Starns FNC.

Just uh you'll see my little blue check mark there. and we have a photo of their standing around the flagpole. And many of them are wearing dress shirts.

Well, they're all wearing dress shirts, and they're wearing these ties in honor of Charlie.

Well It turns out that the ties violated the dress code policy of the school.

So when the principal got wind of what was going on, he sent a memorandum to all the teachers in the school, And said, hey, look, if you see a kid wearing a tie, you've got to send those folks to the principal's office.

Now it seems to me, Dullon, If you're wearing a tie, that used to be somewhat, first of all, shocking and very unlikely. But number two, that's sort of commendable. Yeah, you're a well-dressed Student.

Well dressed man. Nothing wrong with that.

Well Aside from the fact that many of them are wearing shorts.

So that's not a good look, guys. No, that's in. It's in. Is it really? No, I don't know.

Okay. I don't think so. It's hard to keep up with fashion trends. I gave up after parachute pants. Back in the 1980s.

You know, those came back. That was not a good look. No. It was not a good look back in the day.

Okay, you learned. You know, I am wondering if any of our guy listeners that are of that age. If they wore parachute pants, would you actually admit to it? Hmm. It's like the same now if you would admit to wearing skinny jeans when those were cool.

Yeah. 'Cause I don't think uh yeah. Those skinny jeans, that that was just a painful moment. And, you know, I'm not, that's another reason. You know, people are trying to figure out why we're not, you know, the birth rate has declined in America.

And I think skinny jeans had a lot to do with that. I think you may be right. A lot of grapes got squished. terrible.

So, anyway, this is a story back to. Wow. It's only Monday. This back to this story, this is from the Tennessean. Liam Adams is the Author Now it turns out that the guy who made the decision.

Has been Removed or reassigned from his position, depending on how you want to read the story. And so the guy who caused all the controversy has been reassigned. And so now a lot of woke alumni. of Lipscomb Academy and the University are coming to this guy's defense.

Now, a spokesperson confirmed that the gentleman, his name is Jesse Savage. He's the guy that requested kids to change clothes. He literally sent the teachers out to hunt these students down, and any student who who was wearing a tie, was brought to the office. And I have to imagine there was an unpleasant conversation. But now people on the other side are standing up and they're pushing back.

And they're saying that Hey look, if a kid showed up wearing a hoodie Then they would have been punished as well. They would have been told you're in violation of the dress code.

So here's the question. Is this a simple case of a dress code violation, or were these kids being targeted because they happen to be conservative?

Someone, I was listening to somebody, and it may have been John Rich, or there was somebody who said that this school is so left. They actually make the kids go to a black church so they can see how black people worship. They're required to ride a transit bus.

So this is like some and this also, this was the same university complex area. If you remember a couple of years ago, when black students were offended because they were invited to the president's home for dinner. And in the foyer was a beautiful display of cotton. And they got triggered. And I'm just telling you now, I guarantee you, none of these children Have ever been forced to pick cotton in their lives.

So I'm not sure why they got triggered, but they got triggered.

So this is a woke Christian school.

Now, it just seems to me that if in fact there was a dress code, okay, fine.

Well, maybe, just maybe, you could offer a little bit of grace. Maybe just Maybe. you could make an exception to the rule. And it seems, it's not like these kids were, you know, running around buck naked. They were dressed up in a shirt and a tie.

They were trying to show some respect. And you know what bothers me about all of this? And hear me for just a moment. On the whole Charlie Kirk thing. What bothers me is that I see a generation of young men.

Who have been put upon? Right, they have been denigrated, they've been medicated. They've been told that their masculinity is masculinity is toxic. Many of them have been told by their teachers to question their sexuality. They have been under siege as an entire generation.

And this has been going on for a long time. But for whatever reason it's this particular generation That is pushing back. and say, you know what, we're not going down that path. And these are young men. that are coming to terms with who they want to be as men.

And I respect that. I really do.

Now these guys are probably going to have to suffer whatever consequences. That comes with breaking a rule. but quite frankly an exception should have been made to the rule. Shame on that school. But this again, it also reminds us of a very important thing.

That even the Christian schools, you cannot, you cannot. Expect your kid to get a good education, even at a Christian school. You've got to do your homework. I'm telling you, there are a lot of great Christian schools out there, but you've got to figure out which are the good ones and which are the bad ones. Because there's a lot of stuff out there that is ugly and just as woke as something you would see in a government-funded classroom.

All right, 901-260-5926. Our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926. We'll take your calls on that also during the break. Head over to ToddStarnes.com and help us as we begin our soft launch, Raising Money for Starnes Media Group, supporting conservative and Christian journalism across America. You can make that donation right now at ToddStarnes.com.

All right, welcome back. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. So there's There's a story out of Out of Florida. There is a A member of the school board. Uh down there.

This is Ala um it's uh Alachua County. Tina Serton is her name, And this woman has a big problem with Charlie Kirk. She called him an uneducated white boy. And many people are upset over this. She says, I did not watch any of that Drump rally.

That's an intentional insult, by the way. I went to see an elder BCS The Weight of It All, How a Thirty One Year Old Uneducated White Boy Has Been Glorified. This is what this woman wrote on Facebook.

Now, it just seems to me That first of all, this was racially charged, she's a black woman, and calling a white guy a white boy. No, ma'am, he was a grown man. He was a grown man, married. Had kids. How about a little respect?

Anyway, these people are pieces of garbage. And it's unfortunate, but that's who they are. And you get to, you really get, you know, these kinds of situations, you find out. the true heart of a person, and this woman has a very ugly heart. Anyway, Kat Kamik, our good friend, who, by the way, newborn mom, and she's doing great, she said instead of prioritizing her children, The Alachua County School Board members seem to be teaching a master class in Haight.

I wonder what the parents of the white boys you're supposed to represent think of your deplorable comments. comments, I should add, that you made about a memorial service of a murdered husband and father which you called a drump rally. I love it.

So, at some point, you would think, oh, yeah, well. Gosh, you know, I probably shouldn't have Send that? I mean, I shouldn't have called him a white boy and but no, no, no, she's doubling down here.

So now she's defending her racist rhetoric, doing an interview to with the Gainesville Sun newspaper. She said that while my personal Facebook comment was poorly worded, it does not change the reality of his rhetoric. Charlie Kirk repeatedly insulted and attacked educated women, specifically black women. His rhetoric was intended to demean through racism.

So, again, ladies and gentlemen, on this program, and I would encourage anybody, anyone who has evidence that Charlie Kirk was a racist, I want you to call this program. Provide your evidence. But I'm telling you, nobody's going to do that because there is none. And whenever somebody like this, idiot. And the problem here is that school board member Certain is certainly an ignoramus.

I mean it really was sort of an Um a modern day underground railroad. Where black people were coming out of the chains and bondage of the Democrat Party and saying, Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty, I'm free at last. Thank you very much, TPUSA and Charlie Kirk. But no, no, there They're twisting his comments and they're taking things out of context.

And we're not going to let them do that. We're just not going to let him do it. And by the way, we're not going to let him do it on this radio program either. That's just not how we're going to operate anymore. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number.

Tucker Carlson being chief among them. are beginning to spew this Anti-Israel rhetoric. I'm not willing to call it anti-Semitic yet. But it is certainly anti Israel And I'm curious, ladies and gentlemen, to hear. Your thoughts on this?
