From the Mighty 990 Broadcast Center, you're waking up in Starnes Country with Todd Starnes.
And good morning, Memphis. Good morning, Mid South. I'm Todd Stearns. And we are broadcasting live today from the principal of Toyota Memphis Studio. Hope you're doing well.
Wow, what an insanely busy weekend. And it was so great to meet so many, so many of our awesome listeners over the weekend at the Germantown Festival. And we'll get into all of that in just a little while.
So a lot going on today here in the Mid-South. A lot, a lot to talk about as well. By the way, write down our telephone number. You will need this if you plan on calling in this morning, 901-260-5926. Again, 901-260-592.
five nine two six. Commander Chuck will be along in just a little while. We'll give you an update on the big traffic report. Looking pretty good out there aside from a crash over at Winchester and Clark Road. Otherwise, all is looking good here in the Mid South.
All right. Wow. Where do we begin? First. I want to say something about the Republicans.
And they threw really a terrific shindig over at the Germantown Festival. And they invited me out Saturday to work the booth and sign some copies of my new book. Had a great time visiting with a lot of KWAM listeners as well. You know, the Democrats had a booth as well. And I'm just going to tell you.
There is something going on here in the Mid-South, and it's really almost an undercurrent. You really don't see it a lot, but we saw it over the weekend. Where you had just Hundreds and hundreds of people coming by the Republican booth. And I have to give a huge shout-out this morning to Kristen Hicks and Kristen New. They are the ladies that are in charge of outreach.
And those two ladies and what they did over the weekend, the Republican Party owes them a great debt of gratitude. I have never seen such energy and excitement and enthusiasm as I did. At the Republican Party tent over at the Germantown Festival. I mean, there are thousands of people there, and it was really remarkable just to see the enthusiasm, especially among young people who were coming over, and especially kids who were coming over. They wanted to get their picture made with the giant life-size Trump cutout.
They were buying all the merch. People, so many people were walking around with Gulf of America t-shirts. It was really a beautiful thing to see. And one of the things I really love about it, I mean, there were a few of actual elected Republicans who bothered to show up. And we greatly appreciate those guys.
But I think Senator Brent Taylor was there. We understand one Republican alderman in Germantown stopped by, which we appreciate. None of the municipal mayors showed up. I don't know. It's almost as if once you get elected, it's basically screw you.
That just seems to be the vibe among some in the party these days. I don't get that. But anyway, we certainly appreciate the elected leaders who had the decency to stop by and shake hands and encourage people to join the party. And you say, well, Todd, why do people need to join the Republican Party? Because right now that's the only That is the only vehicle that's going to fix what is broken in Memphis.
I mean, that's it. It's certainly not perfect, but it's a whole heck of a lot better than the Democrats. By the way, somebody sent me a photograph. We have this up on our. K WAM Facebook page.
The Democrat Party, it kind of looked like... I'm trying to figure out because they had a booth at the Germantown Festival as well. And I'm trying to, as best as I can describe the Germantown Democrat Club's booth, it sort of looked like. You know, an old folks home, but not like one of those highfalutin old folks homes. It's like a ghetto-ized version of an old folks home.
That's what it sort of looked like. It was really sad and pathetic. But they had a cutout of a donkey, you know, a jackass, because that's the Democrat Party's logo. I mean, their party logo is a jackass. And uh so anyway the um The the Somebody stuck a flag.
Somebody stuck a flag in the buttocks of the donkey. And I'm trying to understand exactly what sort of message the Democrats were trying to convey here in Shelby County. Why why did of all the places they could stick an American flag, why did why was that flag protruding from the buttocks of the of the donkey? I'm just curious to know. If anybody has an idea, I'd love to hear from you this morning.
So all that to say. I was encouraged because There's new blood coming into the Republican Party. And if we don't again, the solution is very simple. If every Republican in the suburbs gets out and votes, Republicans win elections. It really is that simple.
And we got big problems in this town. We talk about them all the time. The only solutions to rapper Paul Young's. crisis that he's created here in Memphis is to get out and vote and to bring in more Republicans. By the way, this is just.
I'm just going to run through the headlines here because rapper Paul Young, and that's his new nickname here on the K Whamp. Because the guy is out there, and that's all he gets excited, he gets thrilled when he's hanging out with the hip-hop community. That's it. All of us regular folks, he doesn't care about at all. But anyway, these are the headlines right now on WREG-TV: Man Stabbed to Death in Hornlike Walmart.
Shooting at McDonald's. One in critical condition. Man critically injured in Whitehaven shooting. Memphis Street is scene of second shooting in two days. Shooting investigation underway in Hickory Hill.
Eighteen year old charged with attempted murder. Shots were reported fired overnight in the Midtown area. Man stormed in South Memphis. That's just the weekend. Welcome to Memphis, everybody.
It's insane. But the mayor, and the mayor says, hey, look, the problem is the media. The media's just got to stop reporting all of this.
So I don't know if you've been following this story out of Charlotte, North Carolina. And it's pretty horrible. You have a black guy, and he stabbed a woman to death. on a train over there. their version of like, you know, uh public transportation.
lady was there and uh she was uh seated minding her own business. She was doing something on her smartphone and the the black dude sitting directly behind her gets up and stabs the woman in the throat and kills her. Nobody steps in to intervene. Nobody. Nobody.
So of course, the mayor, who is a Democrat in Charlotte, she said, hey, look, we need to have she goes, we need to have some sympathy for the killer because he's dealing with mental problems. And then the mayor said, and shame on all of you media people out there for covering the news. And she literally told the media, Do not cover this story, do not show the video, because there's a video. There is security video of the woman being stabbed to death. And the mayor is telling the local TV folks, do not share this.
By the way, Not a single story about this in any national publication at all. Not at all. I'll explain why in just a moment. And so again, it's sympathy for the criminals, and the media is to blame because they're covering the story. Does that sound familiar, ladies and gentlemen?
Does that ring a bell here locally? It's almost as if these Democrats are working off talking points here.
Well look, I I do want to bring this up. because this is going to be talked about a lot today. It's already starting to be discussed and debated on social media, and we'll be covering it eleven o'clock on the Todd Stearns National Show. But it's very clear to me. That we've got a big problem in this country that nobody wants to talk about.
And it is this epidemic of black on black and black on white crime. And nobody is allowed to talk about it in the national media. That's why you have zero stories in the national media about what happened in Charlotte, North Carolina, because. They're gonna shut it down. They don't want people to know anything.
about the violent crime in this nation.
So again, the reason why, and especially the black on white crime. which is off the charts. is goes against the narrative here. It goes against the narrative. You see, the reason why there's no national use coverage is that The lives of white people simply don't matter.
And the reason why is because what did critical race theory teach the children of America? That white people are the oppressors.
So the white people are to blame for all of your problems. Therefore, it's not that big of a deal when they get, you know. When they get whacked. But look at Charlotte. There were no riots, there were no protest marches.
There was no condemnation by any Democrats, just the mayor telling people don't share the video and feel bad for the criminal. She urged them to have compassion, ladies and gentlemen, not for the family of the dead woman, who, by the way, was from Ukraine. But it doesn't matter. I know you would think that, well, Ukraine, okay. No, it doesn't matter because she's white and the lives of white people don't matter.
We know that because there's an entire movement that says only black lives matter. Everybody else, you're on your own. But that's what they're telling us. White lives don't matter. They don't.
I hate that, and it's wrong. But that is the narrative. And that's why, ladies and gentlemen, they do not cover any of these stories at all, period. Unless Unless the white person is one of their own liberals, and then maybe it becomes a story. Maybe.
All right, we've got to take a break here. 901-260-5926, our telephone number this morning. Agree, disagree, give me a call. That's 901-260-5926. A beautiful start to the day, by the way.
Going to be very warm later today, but right now it is an absolutely beautiful fall day here in the Mid-South. We'll be right back. Oh, gotta give a shout out this morning to the Tennessee Twirlers. Great baton group. They're out there and doing totally the batons.
It is very difficult, and they make it look so easy. A very creative group, a very talented group of young performers, and they were out at the Germantown Festival over the weekend. It was just a lot of fun. And I will say that the funnel cake seemed to be the hot ticket item over there by the food truck.
So a lot of fun, and well done to the good people who put together the Germantown Festival. Always a lot of fun. And there was just stuff happening, great stuff happening all across the Mid-South. Over the weekend. You know one of the things that I noticed though?
About the Germantown Festival. And we were out in Bartlett and saw the same thing. Is that um The police were in force. People were having a great time. People were relaxed.
They weren't worried about getting carjacked. They weren't worried about getting shot at. It was really a wonderful thing. You know, I want to go back to something real quick here on that note.
So the shooting, remember the shooting, 901 Day shooting, where you had the one kid who was shot in the stomach, and they finally arrested the kid and the mother. The mother was immediately set free.
Now, here's this is just an observation. When you go back and look at the media coverage of that, do you know you saw who the media went after first, right? They wanted to do the interviews with the mother of the gunman.
So they wanted to portray, if you think about this, go back and remember the coverage. They wanted to portray the gunman as the true victim here. That's how the media plays the game. And by the way, the mom of the shooting victim was so enraged, and this was black on black crime, by the way. The mother was so enraged.
She couldn't believe it. She was wait a second. She goes, Why are you guys celebrating this kid when my kid's the victim? He's the one that got shot. It doesn't make any sense.
So again, just a very recent example. of what's happening nationally. But the reality here, folks, and hear me on this. Just about every major city is dealing with the exact same kind of problem we are in Memphis. The common denominator.
is that all of our cities are controlled by Democrats. and for whatever reason Paul Young, the mayor of Memphis, Tennessee, doesn't care about his own citizens. Getting shot and killed in the streets. Doesn't care. Otherwise he'd he'd do something about it, but he just doesn't care.
By the way, want to give a A an update. to a pole. There was a straw pole done. Over at the uh Germantown Festival, and uh people were invited to go over and cast their votes for the three Republicans running for governor of Tennessee, Marshall Blackburn, John Rose, and a guy named Monty Fritz. And Blackbird She won in a massive landslide in the Shelby County Straw Poll.
Now, I want to say something about this, and I always have to say this: that I have already endorsed Marshall Blackburn, and it's important for you to know that. We have had Congressman Rose on, and he came on the show last week. I thought he did a terrific job. He said the National Guard, the governor, does need to call the National Guard out to Memphis. And if crime is still as bad, which it probably will be, but if crime is still as bad as it is now when he's governor, that's the first thing that he will do.
And I appreciated his candor and his frankness. But it's beyond me. Why a guy that's got millions of dollars in his campaign war chest. It's beyond me why he would not be in Memphis over the weekend. to campaign and do a little politicking.
With the largest, largest stronghold of Republicans in the entire state. I don't get that. I mean, this is I don't know who's running the guy's campaign. But this is insane. Marshall Blackburn had a had a person there.
They had Marsha Blackburn yard signs there. They had somebody there that was encouraging people to go and vote for Marsha in the straw poll. John Rose had nothing. No signs, no people, no votes.
So anyway, it's I mean, what are you what are you going to do at that point? But I appreciate the fact that Marsha Blackburn cared enough about Memphis to have somebody there at one of the largest and most popular fall festivals. in West Tennessee. But wow, I I just don't get that at all. But Anyway, it's his money, he's just squandering it.
901-260-5926. Our telephone number. That's 901-566-256-2656. two six zero five nine two six. We do have some We have some breaking news to share with you.
And, um, Folks I was going to be more relaxed this morning on a Monday. But this breaking news out of Hickory Hill. Uh late Sunday night. We can now tell you that four children were shot. After two gunmen opened fire on a home in a Hickory Hill.
Memphis police are now releasing information. But again, this is breaking news, and we'll try to get more intel here during the break coming up. But we can tell you That um Four children were shot, two boys and two girls. They have all been rushed to Labanter Children's Hospital For treatment, The girls, the two girls in critical condition, one of the boys in critical condition, the other boy is expected to be okay. We do not know the ages.
of the victim. MPD telling Fox thirteen the suspects in ski masks and all black clothing ran up to the home and just opened fire, then took off. on foot.
So, if any of you folks have information, Crime Stoppers, of course, needing whatever information you have. That's a telephone number 901-528-252. 2274 again, 901-528-2274.
So, breaking news again out of Hickory Hill. Four children. four young children all shot, Three of them in critical condition. And all of them have been taken to Labonner Children's Hospital for treatment. It would be.
Be good, if you could this morning, during breakfast time, say a prayer for these children. And for their parents. But just a terrible tragedy this morning. And again, this is all happening in Paul Young's. Memphis, Tennessee.
This is This is beyond outrageous. Just beyond outrageous. But this is what we get, folks, and I know this needs to be said. But Paul Young doesn't give a damn. About Memphis.
He just doesn't. And I'm not sure any of our elected leaders, aside from people like State Senator Brent Taylor, give a rip. Especially at City Hall. On the local side it is just appalling just appalling. And quite frankly, If there are ways.
If there are ways, the elected Republicans, I don't know that we've got any on City Council of Memphis. But I know we've got them on the Shelby County Commission. We may just need to shut down government until we get a handle on this crime. Again, the breaking news, four children shot this morning. Hickory Hill.
This is Starge Country. All right, and again, the breaking news this morning coming out of Hickory Hill. This is also from the reporting of Fox 13. We're waiting to hear back from our sources on MPD. But we understand that at least four children were shot.
This all happening late, late Sunday night. The officers called to Rosewind Circle off East Rains. They found two little boys and two girls. They have been struck by gunfire. We understand that three of the children are fighting for their lives this morning.
All four rushed to La Bonner Children's Hospital. I can't even imagine. Cannot even begin to imagine what those police officers are going through this morning coming across a scene like that. We understand that. The exact ages, by the way, we do not know.
MPD says the suspects in ski masks, all black clothing, ran up to the home and opened fire and they took off on foot. There are two suspects here, two gunmen they believe are involved in this. We have no other additional information. We are waiting to hear back from MPD. They've been a little tight with the information on a lot of these high-profile crimes, and no doubt this is going to be a high-profile crime.
All right, again, our telephone number: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. So, a few days ago, Someone said, Starnes, you gotta go check out Fat Larry's in Bartlett. Have any of you folks been to Fat Larry's? You know, it's the award-winning barbecue.
They got a great, it's a great little restaurant. And so I had not been to Fat Larry's.
Somebody brought me over a burger from Fat Larry's. And it was a good burger. I mean, it was a really good burger.
So Friday, I had to anchor the 8 o'clock show on Newsmax, which meant I had to stick around a little bit longer. We had high school football going on with Briarcrest. And so I decided to drive over to Bartlett and check out Fat Larry's. It was my inaugural visit. To the fat Larry's.
Now, Cassie. When normally, when you know you go into like I don't know, you're in Vegas and you're like at Ruth's Chris or Gordon Ramsey's place, right? That's that's usually if you're a high profile celebrity, you're going to walk in and like people are going to know you. Yeah. And so so anyway, I went over to Fat Larry's and I opened the door to Fat Larry's and it's like the entire restaurant turned around to look.
And people are like, Holy cow, that's Todd Starn's and Fat Larry's. Yes.
So, my people, those are my people. Did they stand up and clap for you? No, they didn't.
Well, no, because it's the food. You know, you're there for the food. You don't want it to get cold. Right, right.
So it was quite the scene.
So I got to visit with a lot of Todd starting show listeners, K-WAN listeners. It was a lot of fun. That's the place to go, Todd. It was a good burger. I'm just going to tell you, it was a good burger.
It got me through the Newsmax show. I'll say that much.
So, anyway, all that to say, well done. And thank you, fat layers. They're not paying me to say this, they should. But anyway, we'll be back over sometime. We'll have to have dinner there.
I had to get it to go because we had to do the Newsmax show. Also, I want to give a big shout out to Walker Poetry. What a great job he's doing, our play-by-play guy for the Breyercrest Saints, and just really doing a terrific job. By the way, let's check in now. 38 minutes past the hour.
Let's check in with Parker May standing by with your Monday sports update. And good morning, everybody. It is a beautiful, beautiful day. Chamber of Commerce weather here in Stern's Country, broadcasting from the principal Toyota Memphis studio. Hope you're doing well.
And we've got, you know, so many people. We met our good friend Tripp from Ortho South, which, or Ortho One, rather, Ortho One, which sponsors our great, great sports update. Parker may just brought to you. And young and old, people stopping by and saying how much they enjoy listening to shows like Mid South Gardening and Lars Larson, and of course, the Todd Stern Show and Stern's Country.
So we just want to thank all of our great listeners. I've got to give a special shout out, though, to nine-year-old Ella, who listens to us on K-Wham. And Ella came by with her mom, and we got a chance to visit and say hello. And I believe Ella even got her picture made with the life-size Trump cutouts.
So, anyway, Ella, hope you're doing well today. Thank you for listening to us here on the Mighty 990. 901-260-5926. Our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926.
So, Friday night, I had a chance to catch up with my good friend, Sebastian Gorka. We've known each other for years, and Seb joined me on the Newsmax show. We had a great conversation about President Trump's decision to rename the Defense Department to. To the Department of War, which by the way, and you will hear this, was the original name of the Defense Department.
So, what is old is new again. Let's take a listen. Sebastian Gorker, Doctor G, good to see you, sir.
So uh what's your reaction to the rebranding here? I am so excited in so many ways I can't tell you, my friend. Not least of which is, you're sure you're familiar with it, the Eisenhower building.
So, most people who say who work in the White House don't actually work in the West Wing because the West Wing is tiny, Todd. It's not like the TV show. You can basically walk around the whole West Wing in 90 seconds. If you work in the White House, you actually probably work in the EEOB, the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, that grand huge granite and marble building next to the White House. And my favorite part of that building, because it's like a museum, because it has been kept in the same stasis more than 150 years, is the Secretary of War Suite.
And I like to take as many of my meetings with guests that aren't classified meetings in the Secretary of War Suite, which was the proto-OG Pentagon.
Well, now we're going back to those times, and we have a Secretary of War, my friend Pete Hegseth, the Pentagon. Is now the Department of War, and we're sending a message. This isn't a war-mongering regime, but just like those Trende Aragua killers on that boat, if you threaten American lives, we're going to come down on you like the hammers of hell and turn you into red mist.
So, America is back, my friend. America is back.
Well said. Let's take a listen to what the president had to say about the change. I think it sends a message of victory. I think it sends really a message of strength. We're very strong.
We're much stronger than anyone would really understand. We never fought to win. We just didn't fight to win. We didn't lose anything, but we didn't fight to win. We could have won every one of those wars quickly.
But uh they went A route that I think was probably politically correct, but not correct for our nation.
So I think the Department of War sends a signal. And of course, Seb, the President also in that very long presser today, which we carried on Newsmax, said regarding those Venezuelan fighter jets, anybody comes close to the U.S. warships, you do what you got to do. He did. He turned to raising Kane, General Kane, the chairman of the Joint Chief, standing right next to Peter Hexet, the Secretary of Defense.
And he said, You have everything you need, don't you, General Kane? If our vessels are threatened, if our military ships and aircraft in international waters that are keeping us safe. From the drugs that have poisoned more than 100,000 Americans every year under the Biden administration, you will take. All necessary action. And he's not a man of many words, but the chairman said.
Yes, sir. We are ready. No doubt about that. I want to switch gears here. President Trump posting on Truth Social today looks like we've lost India and Russia to deepest, darkest China.
May they have a long and prosperous future together.
Now, this comes after President Xi of China hosted Putin and Kim Jong-un at their military parade this week.
Now, China welcoming the Indian Prime Minister Modi as well. How serious is it for the United States' security interest that India is now appearing alongside Xi and Putin? It's not serious for us, it's serious for them. They need to know that we are not a superpower, we are a hyper-power Todd. There is nobody who comes close to us, whether it's our 12 nuclear aircraft carriers, whether it's our latest, latest jet fighters.
The president announced, of course, the F-47 not too long ago, whether it's our submersibles, our cyber capabilities, nobody can touch us. It is very unwise. For you to make your bed with the world's largest communist dictatorship.
So, this is a bad choice for Russia. It's a bad choice for India. And there will probably be consequences. Remember, the president is rewriting the rule book globally, especially when it comes to trade and economics. The trade tariff system is the biggest tectonic shift since Bretton Woods was originally established.
You're just not a smart government if you go against this administration and how we are promising prosperity. For all of those who wish to work with us.
So it's not a problem for us, Todd, it's a problem for us. for them. All right, just a bit of the interview that we did with Sebastian Gorka on Newsmax, and we'll be playing a little bit more of that later today on the Todd Sterns show. By the way, I'm curious: what are your thoughts about returning, restoring the original name for the Defense Department, the Department of War? I got a message from a Libtard just over the weekend, and they were raging.
What does that say about this so-called president of peace?
Well, it says that he's the president of peace. Ladies and gentlemen, the whole point of renaming this is to again convey the strength and the power. of the United States of America. And the fact is that Donald Trump is the only president in modern American history that has not gotten this country into a shooting war. And the military-industrial complex, they hate that.
They hate it because that's money out of their own pocket.
So, anyway, I like the name change. I like the fact that Pete Hegset is going to be the Secretary of War. By the way, we are working to line up. We are just very, very close to lining up our interview, our sit-down interview with Secretary Hegseth. And we'll be telling you more about that here in the coming days.
This story caught my attention out of the daily Memphian, and I'm a sucker for these kinds of stories. And I felt really when I saw the headline, I thought, oh, geez, Lou, this is going to be a sad story. It was written by Scott Morris. Who is the founder of Church Health? And he's a regular contributor to the Daily Memphium.
And I hate to say this, and I don't mean to paint with a broad brush. But if you've got a regular column in the daily mintfin, you're a far left. You're a far left wackadoodle. And this guy is a lefty.
So here's the headline: the most common diagnosis in Memphis. A broken heart. And I thought, oh Wow, maybe somebody needs help.
So he's telling the story of a 38-year-old man who walked into the urgent care clinic. at Church Health. which he founded. He said on paper, his symptoms looked physical. complaints of pain, exhaustion, a body that would not rest.
But something about his story did not add up. All my initial tests were normal.
So I did what I have learned to do in moments like this. I asked him To tell me more. Tell me more. Tell me, More. And so he did.
At first he sat in silence, and then the words gushed out like water through a broken dam. Tears streamed down his face as he repeated again and again I am not a criminal. I am not a criminal. I work two jobs. I have a family.
If they send me back, they will kill me. I'm not a criminal, oh God, I'm not a criminal. I was getting a little misty. And then we know the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey used to say.
So it turns out this guy's an illegal alien.
So he is a criminal. You are a criminal, sir. You are a criminal. I'm sure he's a very nice guy. But he's a criminal.
He came to Memphis as a teenager, fleeing the gangs of Watabala. The G is silent on this program. He came to Memphis as a teen. Fleeing the gangs of Guatemala that threatened to take his life.
So, wait a second. Wait, wait, wait. This isn't adding up.
So you're telling me the guy was terrified of gangs so he moved to Memphis? Not exactly the brightest criminal. For two decades, he has worked, raised children, paid taxes, paid bills. Lived as our neighbor. And yet his dominant ailment was not one I could treat with a prescription.
It was the terror that his life could still be wrenched apart, that deportation would be a death sentence. Let me tell you something, folks. They're going to be piling it on. When it comes to these illegals, I was reading a story this morning that Tennessee was second only to Texas in the deportation of illegals. But this guy The Reverend doctor G Scott Morris, MD, Man, did he pile it on?
His body carried that fright like a sickened skeleton. Every muscle taught, every nerve electric with anxiety. Geez, a Loo The guy goes on. That day I was reminded once again of a truth we see every single day at Church Health. The most common diagnosis in Memphis is not organic heart disease, not diabetes, Not high blood pressure.
It is a broken heart.
So, if we're reading this correctly here from the Reverend Dr. G. Scott Morris, M.D. That's how he likes to be referred to, by the way. If you're reading between the lines here, the most dangerous people in Memphis are not the gangbangers out there literally shooting people and murdering them.
The biggest problem in Memphis are the ICE agents rounding up the illegals. Are you buying any of this? Anyway, the guy goes, This is like, it's like a novella. And it's just insane. But this guy, he's basically saying that, well, I'm just going to read this to you.
My patient from Watabala is not a criminal. He is a child of God as much as and as much a part of Memphis as the Mississippi River. His tears remind me why the work we do matters, and his story calls all of us. Clinicians, leaders, neighbors to build a city where no one's deepest wounds are ignored.
So, what is he wanting us to do? Is he launching a new program, Huggin' Illegal? Are we supposed to go round and give them a pat on the back? And give them our wallets? The Reverend Dr.
G. Scott Morris, M.D., goes on to write: Our challenges are great, but our capacity for compassion is greater. If we can invest in behavioral health with urgency, then Memphis will become known not only as a city with scars, but also as a city of healing. This is terrible. I got to.
Hold, I've got to compose myself. And maybe. Just maybe. when the broken hearted cry out, I am not a criminal. Memphis will answer back.
You are not alone. Your home. From the pen of the Reverend Dr. G. Scott Morris, M.
D. Can you imagine having to be married to somebody like that? I mean, because it's not like Hey, Scott, get in here. Hey, Reverend Dr. G.
Scott Morris, MD, I need you in here immediately. Yes, dear.
Now Let me just say this. No, we're not heartless people. We're just saying we've got a lot of problems in Memphis, and we can't be dealing with a bunch of illegals on top of everybody else. And if, in fact, this guy was not a criminal, and hear me on this, I want to know how is he paying his taxes over the past two decades? The guy says he works two jobs.
Those are two jobs that could have been taken by law-abiding American-born citizens or legal migrants. And I'm just wondering here. And they say he paid his taxes. How did he pay his taxes? How exactly did this guy pay his taxes?
That's what I want to know. Unbelievable. And by the way, two decades you couldn't go and get yourself legalized? Come on. All right, we gotta call it a day here.
