The NBA trade that sent Anthony Davis from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Luca Doncic has left fans stunned, with many questioning the decision and its impact on both teams. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns' Myles Garrett has requested a trade, citing a desire to win a Super Bowl, and the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are gearing up for Super Bowl 59.

Also later today, what the football, Suzie Schuster, Amy Trask will preview Super Bowl 59 with Brett Musburger, who might be able to tell stories of being there poolside for a certain guarantee 56 Super Bowls ago. So the guy knows what he's talking about when he talks Super Bowls.

That's going to be later on. We've got four guests today. Clark Hunt, the owner of the two time defending going for a three-peat Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will be joining us. Lewis Riddick is first up in 20 minutes time to help preview Super Bowl 59. We're heading to New Orleans on Wednesday to do all three hours of our show for the final three days this week from the Super Bowl experience on the Roku Channel and so much more. Already in New Orleans, Albert Breer will be joining us from New Orleans in hour number three to react to what's going on in the Super Bowl city and the seismic shift that happened right there.

We'll get to that in a moment. Brian Windhorst will join us from the worldwide leader in sports. Good to see you over there, Chris Brockman. How are you, sir? Hey, Rich, what's up, man?

Jason Feller, Jake Felley. Good to see you, sir. Hey, what's up, Rich? Fresh back from Royal Rumble in Indianapolis, where no contest wrestling did some mad work. TJ Jefferson, good to see you, sir.

Good to see you. Had this show been on Sunday, I would have just had to sit here and not say the word because my voice after yelling EO Sky's name for an hour straight, I completely lost my voice. Well, I'm glad that it's back because there's lots to talk about today and the earth shattering news over the weekend. It's kind of crazy that as we kick off a Super Bowl week with also news to kick off this week, Miles Garrett asking for a trade from the Cleveland Browns will discuss that on this program. But the fact that we're leading with this news makes all the sense in the world. And the fact that the seismic shift that occurs through this news happened with a major event in our world here on The Rich Eisen Show. And that is because TJ Jefferson was the one to text the group. That's number one. Never happens that he actually text the group.

And then number two, he texts the group that Anthony Davis has been traded for Luca. And I immediately thought you've been duped, sir, because I was drinking. Well, I went I went on line all over the place and it wasn't anywhere. It wasn't on any news stacks. It wasn't anywhere.

As you know, I've been off of Twitter since November and I'm staying off it because it's a hellscape. But you were telling me this is all over the place. And I'm like, all right, but how often does all world superstar player get traded for all world superstar player in the middle of the season? And no one's caught a sniff of it. And the answer is it never happens.

But it did. And Anthony Davis goes from the Lakers to Dallas and Luca goes from Dallas to the Los Angeles Lakers. Now, there's a lot of other window dressing because Utah was used as a way station. And the crazy thing that comes out of it, too, is the Mavericks only get one first round draft choice for Luca. And you could go through tons of other trades of players that aren't 25 and aren't as great as Luca Doncic and aren't as great a draw as this guy coming to Los Angeles.

And you only get one first round selection with him. And every single time you take a look at this trade, this trade is kind of like the Alonzo morning GIF where you shake your head and then you know, I can see what they did it for. You know, and like, there's no way this team is going to be better.

Oh, it's going to be better. You know, it's my initial reaction was what? And then my initial reaction was, well, this makes the Lakers so much better because Luca is going to play with LeBron and LeBron has just gotten a triple double to beat the red hot Knicks in Madison Square Garden without Anthony Davis. And now you're going to add Luca to this mix. And then you're thinking to yourself, well, then who's going to rim protect Jackson Hayes? Because it's not like Luca and LeBron are brick walls out there on the three point arc defensively. So if you beat these guys off the dribble, who's going to run protect? Who's going to rebound? Who's going to take on Jokic? Who's going to take on name fill in the blank from anybody in the Western Conference or Eastern Conference if they get that far? Giannis, right? Embiid from my mouth to your basketball guy. But, you know, honestly, Chet Holmgren of the, you know, clearly superior Oklahoma City Thunder, we can go on and on and on here, right? Well, Chet's been out, but no, I know that when he comes back, when he comes back, hopefully in the long run. Al Horford. I'm just throwing names out there.

Right. Or Porzingis. But Luca's coming to Los Angeles and LeBron at some point is going to stop playing and Luca will still be here. And the Lakers can say, come the crypto, don't go down into a dome where everybody might be curious as to what a 21st century spot looks like.

Come the crypto. We're still the Lakers. That's one of the great stars of planet Earth coming here, hooking them up with LeBron, who apparently has so much going with Luca that he's been trying to play with him for a long time. Even, you know, Kyrie trying to get LeBron to leave Los Angeles to join them in Dallas. So that's great for the Lakers. And then the thing I, I totally get Mavericks fans being livid. I totally get the folks in Dallas saying, what the hell is that all about?

Especially since nobody knew this was happening. This is like the ultimate pocket listing in the history of sports. Right? Pocket listing? Yeah. Pocket listing, which is when you put a house on the market, but nobody knows except one or two people.

I'm still in that apartment life. They pocket listed Luca Doncic. He only talked to the Lakers.

They didn't go and sell it around. Like say, we're, we're, you know, we're done with Luca and who wants him? Highest bidder. They just went straight to the Lakers and said, what about Anthony Davis? And I understand Mavericks fans are like, he's Anthony Data Davis. He's Anthony Street Clothes Davis.

He's missing time now. And he's going to be 32. But the way some people are talking about Anthony Davis is like he's some broken down jalopy. He's playing for the league minimum. Have we forgotten who the unibrow is and how incredible he's been playing before he got hurt?

There's a lot of disrespect going around. And that, you know, I understand that Luca's gone, but can't Kyrie make up some of the playmaking ability and shots? And this guy is going to now be down below and you don't have lively maybe for the rest of the year.

Who knows? And you put Gafford back on the bench and this guy is rim protecting. And it's a two man game with Kyrie Irving. You could do a hell of a lot worse. Yeah.

So that's where you're shaking your head. Like you trade Luca at age 25. You only get one first round pick back. You get Anthony Davis, but he's 32. And then the conversation about why in the world would they trade Luca? I mean, there's so many different aspects to this trade. Like, why would you trade Luca at age 25?

And then you think back at that moment in the playoffs last year after Luca, you know, has a remarkable game. And he's just trying to enjoy a beer at age 24, 25. And Michael Finley comes up and just takes it from him like he's, you know, like he's the dorm chief. And he's just like, you know, go back to your dorm, kid. I just walked away and he just took the beer from him. And now so weird.

This hits a little different, doesn't it? And because if Luca isn't going to stay in shape, because that's been the conversation about him for forever. Is he in good conditioning? Does he actually are we seeing like an 80 percent of Luca? Because an 80 percent Luca could have a statue in front of the arena in Dallas if he stayed there.

Are we going to get 100 percent Luca now? Because he's not only, you know, stunned, but pissed because this costs him nine figures of American dollars because he can't get a supermax here like he could have in Dallas. And that's why Dallas was thinking, are we going to give this guy 350 million dollars if we need to have somebody on our front office take a beer out of his hands?

Can you put up the photograph that I received? This is the funniest way of actually in capturing Luca's conditioning. I never laughed harder over a sports meme than this. Somebody saying Luca Doncic to the Lakers and they put out James Corden in a Lakers shirt. And he kind of with the hair and the beard looks like if you're looking quick, you know, quick, quick. It's like, oh, no, no.

On a score Monday, I saw that Saturday night does capture it pretty funny. And it's Luca look at this and go, how dare they? Luca ain't seeing this.

Just the spec is real. There was a report that he was 270 this year. How does a guy who plays basketball as much as he does and is 25 years old, drinks 270 pounds? I don't know.

Does he have zero conditioning? I don't know. So if you're the Mavericks and you're like, do we really want to give 350 million dollars to this guy? And I know there's lots of business deals that are out there that the Mavericks have a new ownership group, that they want a casino. They want Casino World, the Adelson family from Vegas. Vegas is sitting there as an opportunity. Who wants to go to Vegas? The Raiders raised their hands in the NFL, said we'll do it.

We'll piss off Oakland. There's a lot of people there thinking the Mavericks are trying to tank. So suddenly there there's less of a desire to keep them in town so they can just stroll off to Vegas unless the Texas legislature gives the Mavericks what they want, which is a ton of gambling concerns to match the rest of their portfolio of gajillions of dollars. And the current governor of the Mavericks is the son in law of Miriam Adelson, yada, yada, yada.

And I know that there's that sort of, you know, connecting dots of what's going on behind the scenes. But that also means Anthony Davis sucks. Which he does not. You know, everybody's thinking now you do you are getting your your new star doesn't sell as many tickets. And he's six years older and he will be done with with with the basketball before Luca is. And the Lakers are now that much better with a huge draw forever more.

And there's more ratings on Los Angeles now. Who knows? Honestly, who's better for this trade? Both. Who's worse for this trade? Both.

Is one better than the other for this trade? I don't know. If you're looking at it from the Lakers point of view.

You just got somebody post LeBron to say, keep your season tickets. Yes. If you are looking at from the Mavericks point of view, you're saying we don't have to worry about our. Supermax guy being super into brewskies. You know what I mean? I don't know.

I think it's very that might be also as overly simplistic. As Anthony Davis is broken down. And isn't going to be that good. And he won't be there and the Mavericks are going to stink. And they made it to the finals last year with Luca. But Luca was breaking down in the finals himself last year.

And that might be the conditioning we're talking about. We don't know. But what a fascinating trade to all world players traded for each other midseason.

Nobody knew. Yeah. That either were on the market. And oh, by the way, De'Aaron Fox might be a spur. That's the way to trade deadline week starts in the NBA. So if anybody's looking for answers like who won the trade, who lost the trade? The answer is both.

I don't know. Because who is going to who is rim protecting for the Los Angeles Lakers? Another move coming short term. It feels like the Lakers got a little bit worse unless there's another deal coming this week, which seems likely. And then, you know, long term, you got a top two player in the league.

So you're fine. Certainly. When when LeBron says I'm done here. Hey, everybody, come downtown. The Luca show is now starting. Yeah.

How are they able to consistently generation after generation? The Packers get away at quarterback. And I said that once about the Packers or Jordan Love. You were you were off when Tommy Pelissero was here.

Remember Jesse Pinkman? When he's talking about, well, like, how how how can you can't keep getting away with this? Lakers can't keep doing this. Wilt the deal to get the magic pick. Let's see. Shaq and Shaq. LeBron. Well, how the power trade, by the way, it was the anniversary of the power trade over the weekend. Yes.

And then now we should get Bill Burr on here. Boy, the texts I was getting from him all week. Oh, wow. Well, NBA is a little more likely than the NFL massaging. But that's what I understand that this is an NFL world. But when it comes to trades, the NBA is untouchable when it comes to just unquestionable. But guess what?

Guess what? Anybody who thinks that this was a guiding hand to get the Lakers another superstar in another trophy this year. That means Oklahoma City's got to play along. Denver's got to play along. Houston's got to play along.

I don't know. It's got to play along. Your Celtics have to play along.

Get out of here. No, this doesn't put them in the finals. They need to make more moves. And it's especially weird after A.D. had just come out earlier in the week and say that they needed another big man. And now they lose a big man.

But Rich and Chris, do you guys because I have him in fantasy. Do you know what his stats were his last three games for the Lakers? Anthony Davis went twenty four, eight, three assists, three blocks, thirty six, thirteen boards, three assists, three steals and then forty two points, twenty three rebounds, two assists and two blocks. And then they trade him after that game. Kyrie and him with a two man game.

And let's say Clay can find a little fountain of youth. Come on, man. If I'm a Mazz fan, I'm a little upset. P.J. Washington and the rest of them.

Listen, man, it can be pretty fun. It was they were clicking in a way to get them to the finals. And I know that they love Luca and they had envisioned him having a statue out in front.

But this is no jalopy they're getting. Wow, what a trade. Oh, it's Super Bowl week to Miles Garrett wants out of Cleveland. Let's talk about it with Lewis Riddick. Let's talk about it with Albert Breer in hour three. Clark Hunt, the owner of the Chiefs, will be on this program. And Brian Winhorse to answer all our questions in our number two. There's you at eight four four two oh four rich number to dial as well. I've got a top five Super Bowl fifty nine storylines as well. Lewis Riddick from ESPN, fresh back from the Senior Bowl as well.

Well, I don't want to turn into Chris Brockman here. But I mean, and the thing is, how this is part of the conversation is how how would he not know if Rich Paul represents Anthony Davis? You know, and Nico Harrison, the general manager of the Dallas Mavericks, said he and he used to work at Nike. Well, well, he and Rob Palink have been talking about it for weeks, unless unless they didn't tell Anthony Davis either. And Anthony Davis got a call that moment.

He was first. And then they then called LeBron. It's entirely feasible that LeBron did not know. Maybe.

And if that's the case, I mean, I listen. They got LeBron for two more years. And Rob Palink is the general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers.

He's not the general manager of LeBron Incorporated. And this is the movie. He's got to make this move, right? If this is presented to him, he has to do this. Correct.

If it's his job. You double check the phone number to make sure it's real. Right. And then you say yes as fast as you possibly can. Especially since they're only asking for your one of your ones. Right.

They only the twenty nine first, not the 31 first. And it's like, OK, sure. Who else?

Max Christie. Cool. OK. Yeah. So you have to do you have to do it.

Stunning. And LeBron not knowing made me think that maybe he was getting moved this week. But that has since been he's got to know trade. Right. He's one of the only players.

It makes no sense for them to do that. Let LeBron and Luka play with each other. Who the hell is not going to want to get Laker tickets right now in this town? And by the way, I said to Suze, I'm like, because we're like, we we should take the kids to a Laker game. I'm like, not anymore. It's 2x, 3x, 4x now. Not anymore.

First game is into it against the Clippers. Unbelievable. Can't make it up.

Can't make it up. Back on the Rich Eisen Show radio network. I'm sitting at the Rich Eisen Show desk furnished by Grange with supplies and solutions for every industry. Granger has the right product for you.

Call click ranger dot com or just stop by. And look, we stop and buy our friend from ESPN. None other than Louis Riddick. Good to see you, Louis. How are you, sir? Oh, I don't hear him.

Can we check on that one one more time? You there, Louis? Oh, you know why?

Because sometimes Louis gets a little like hair brand. You're a traveling man. You don't even know what time zone you're in, I'm sure. Is there is there an equivalent to the Luka AD trade in the NFL ever anywhere at all? No, not there is nothing. Nothing this big. No, I mean, a 25 year old, you know, this would be like. Well, honestly, there may be a trade like this. Well, I don't know. I mean, think about it.

I mean, Myles Garrett just asked for a trade. So he's so right. How old is he? And right. And so it would be mine maybe. Yeah, he's a little older than Luca. So so but what? But no, Myles would be the defender in the trade and it would be like a 25 year old quarterback. Right. Being traded for because because Luca and AD don't play the same position. You can't say quarterback quarterback here.

What do you have? It'd be like if you traded if the Chargers all of a sudden said, you know what, Justin Herbert. Right. You know, a guy like that who's never who's not injured, there's no issues with them like that, you know. And there's no there's no questions as far as, you know, how the coach feels about him or how management feels about him. But it'd be like trading a guy like that who's in his prime who right now you're going, hey, look, he just needs a couple more things to break his way in order for him to become a champion. And that and that's what it would be like getting rid of a guy like that where you have guys like and then you have the major superstars in the league who may be in game, like they say, Katie, this game going and he's looking at his phone in the fourth quarter of a game.

He couldn't believe it. Yeah. Yeah. Devin Booker's reaction said when he said that he was told that Luca was trading, he said Luca Garza.

I mean, that was hilarious. It was just it was I guess that that would be it. Like Herbert would be the Luca and what Garrett might be the the Anthony Davis, even though that's what I'm saying, though, it just you know, both are scores in the NBA.

So neither are scores in, you know, only one is a score in the NFL. That's why there's really no equivalent here. And then also to keep it quiet from everybody, from agents, from the players themselves, it's just two guys with the pocket listing of ultimate pocket listings. I mean, that's how you know. But to me, Rich, that's how you know that they really didn't want all of what it's happening now to happen. While you know, before this kind of went off.

So what I'm saying is this. This really does feel like I think Brian Windhorst on ESPN. He let people in on the fact that I guess it was maybe a prominent player right now in the league had texted him and said, do you understand how much Dallas must hate Luca in order for them to do this like this?

That's what that's what's really strikes me about this is that there must have been some talks that have been going on for quite a while about the fact that, you know what? Somebody said, I've had enough. I don't care how good this guy is. I have had enough with the way he does things in the way in which I'm projecting going forward.

We can count on him or not count on him. I've had enough. I'm not taking the risk and I just want to get this done and I want to get it out there before anybody has any idea about it and can like and we can start experiencing blowback from it. And so that that just tells you this became very it's always professional. OK, obviously, because it's a professional business, but this seems like it feels personal. If someone had a personal feeling about this is just like, just get him out of here. And that blows you away.

That really does. Lewis Riddick here on the Rich Eisen Show. Your reaction to Myles Garrett saying the goal was never to go from Cleveland to Canton. It was for Super Bowls.

And in that light, I want out. What's your reaction to that, Lewis? I just said I was just sitting here on exit a little while ago and just was thinking about that and just tweeted what what I had what he had told us when we talked to him the week 18 game when they played down in Baltimore just a little while ago. And it was like, if you sit and talk to him and you understand how much this guy pours into the game, how much he understands the history of the game, he understands his place in the game, how much he wants to see his teammates around him do better.

And then how much ultimately he wants to win. This shouldn't shock you at all. It shouldn't shock you at all. He also, you know, it was very common knowledge. Maybe it wasn't common knowledge. It was knowledge to me that he was going to sit down with management. He wanted to know exactly what was going to what was going on, what the plan was going forward.

How are we going to get us get ourselves out of this rut that we're in and improve this football team? So he had more hope as it relates to them being able to win a Super Bowl or at least compete for a Super Bowl. He needed to know what that was. Clearly, Miles didn't get the answers he was looking for.

Clearly, they did not calm down his fears or his worries about what the plan was going forward. And you have to automatically jump forward to what were the answers that he was given as far as their ability to really address the quarterback position. What do you think? I mean, you just came back from the Senior Bowl. I'm sure Andrew Berry was walking around there. I'm sure there's a lot of chatter. What did you hear about what Garrett might have heard from the Cleveland plan? You know, I didn't I didn't hear anything regarding that.

I just know this. I just know that he was assassin serious about wanting to know what the plan was going to be going forward. Cleveland understood that. Management understood that. Kevin Stefanski understood that. A guy of his caliber and of his stature, you know, is afforded, you know, the privilege of being able to have those conversations with the higher ups, given what his place is in the organization.

And what I'm saying is, like, in order for him to release that statement, he didn't hear what he wanted to hear or he doesn't believe what the plan is going forward. And so, look, as far as what was down at the Senior Bowl at the quarterback spot, is there a surefire slam dunk guy that is going to be able to that Cleveland can right now say, look, we could potentially get this guy and he could change around the fortunes of the Cleveland Browns? No. But there are some damn good quarterbacks who maybe people right now aren't thinking are going to be great pros that, quite honestly, I believe could be very, very good pros. And I'll tell you this. I'll go so far as to say this.

I'll say this right now on your show. And I talked just the other day and I talked about it during the regular season. There's a quarterback for Louisville. His name is Tyler Schuck. He is a transfer from Texas Tech via Oregon, an older guy. He's had some injury concerns, but he transferred, played one year under Jeff and Brian Brom at Louisville. He was down at the Senior Bowl.

I said down there, I said it during the regular season, I'm going to say it now. If you put him in an offense like Sean McVeigh's, like Kyle Shanahan's, like Kevin Stefanski's, this kid is going to be the surprise and steal of the draft, in particular at quarterback. He can throw it. He is mobile. He's big.

He's mature. He's a guy who's got a lot of mental horsepower. And he's a guy who's been coached by Jeff and Brian Brom, who to me right now, there is nobody better as far as tutoring quarterbacks for the pro game in all of college football.

In all of college football. Remember that name Tyler Schuck, Rich? Remember when we were in Green Bay here in a couple of months talking about the draft? OK. And this is from one of the few who said Jayden Daniels should be number one overall in last year's draft. So I hear you, Lewis Riddick.

I hear you when you talk. So before we move on to the Super Bowl, what would Andrew Berry's asking price be if he finally does land? Listen, I know this isn't the NBA because Jimmy Butler is about to get his way in the next 90 hours, it looks like. And that's a money thing. This is not a money thing for Myles Garrett, I imagine. So but let's just say Andrew Berry does it does land on him. Listen, better for us to just let's just really strip it down and start again. What two ones like what is the asking price for a twenty nine year old defending defensive player of the year who's a candidate to repeat?

What do you got? I'm sure that's probably where he starts. Some people feel as though that would be too rich. Some people think obviously a one plus, which is like maybe a one and a two on a player, a one and two threes in a player, two ones.

It's going to be in that range. I mean, obviously, if you don't have an extra one on it, you're looking at a one, a two and a guy at a. To me, at a position that you really need and a top level player, a quality starter type of player at a position that you need. Yeah, I think you're in the right ballpark there. Obviously, there could always be a team that says, hey, look, we're desperate for a guy like this.

Yeah, we'll take a surefire first ballot Hall of Famer who doesn't get hurt, who's dedicated to the game, who's probably the most feared one on one athlete in the entire, you know, in the entire NFL, regardless of position. Yeah, well, we'll go ahead and extend for a guy like that. So, yeah, I think I think we're in the right ballpark there.

Two ones or one plus and a player. And you want and you'd want to take the phone calls of NFC people first, right? Like that would be the that'd be the first order of business. Correct. No question.

Yeah. You obviously want to keep him out of the north. I don't think that's that's obviously that that's a that's a deal killer right there. You'd like to keep him out of the AFC. But I'll tell you what, Andrew Berry, I guess he said today, he is. Look, I'm going to reiterate I'm paraphrasing what I've said before, which is I'm not entertaining any calls from Miles Garrett, which this could get real interesting here. This could get real interesting because, you know, Miles, you've talked to Miles before. Does he sound like a guy who's got to go back on what his word is? If he says I want out, I want out.

So this could be a situation that could get real ugly. Lewis Riddick here on The Rich Eisen Show. All right.

I don't usually go this way, but I will go this way with you. Super Bowl 59 will be decided by fill in the blank. Finish the sentence, Lewis.

Oh. It'll be decided by pass protection. That's what I think I'll be decided by. It'll be decided by pass protection in particular for the Kansas City Chiefs versus the Philadelphia Eagles pass rush. And I say that because, look, Jalen Carter is a one man wrecking crew. And if he doesn't wreck the game, if Nolan Smith doesn't wreck the game, if Jordan Davis doesn't wreck the game, if those guys don't pressure Patrick. Look, I think as you move to the back end and you move to the second and third level, look, I know Zach Bond has played a fantastic hasn't had a fantastic career.

Well, not a career, a fantastic season with Philadelphia and their young secondary has played pretty darn good. I just think Kansas City is a team of destiny and a team that right now, Rich is starting to peak at the right time, especially when you're talking about their perimeter passing game. You see how it's starting to look now. You see how on the outside, you know, Xavier Worthy breaks out against Buffalo.

Hollywood Brown breaks out now, coming back from injury. And they look like they've got two road runners on the outside that look determined to make up for. In one case, a guy who hasn't played in another case, a guy who people say is a one trip pony and he's not. Travis Kelsey all of a sudden says, hey, you guys thought I was done right there in the regular season.

You know, on playoff trap, you know what that means. The question for me is, can the offensive line, as it's been revamped, can it handle what is a pass rush that that showed you already in the playoffs that when crunch time comes around? Jalen Carter can have that kind of effect, like Aaron Donald had in the Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he basically won the game for them because Joe Burrow was about to throw a touchdown to maybe win the game for Cincinnati. Jalen Carter could have that kind of effect.

They can get it blocked up up front. Kansas City's just got they got better coaching. They got the greatest quarterback in the game. And they've got a football team that has been in these moments so many times, so many times.

And every time you think that it's that it's about time for them to be knocked off the off the perch, they're like, no, it's not time yet. So I'm thinking that that's what's going to decide it. So you think if they're able to print up T-shirts again for the offensive line that say zero sacks like they did after the Super Bowl 57 win, it'll be a three peat for the Chiefs. Let's let's let's let's hit Saquon, though, and how he can affect things. You know, the stats that I have here in front of me about Saquon, I could fill up the rest of our conversation. But here's the stat about the Chiefs rush defense in facing Derrick Henry, Bijan Robinson, Chuba Hubbard and Bucky Irving this year for top 10 rushers. OK, and Henry and Bijan are two and three behind Saquon's one. Henry rushed for forty six yards against him, thirty one for Bijan, twenty four for Bucky Irving.

The best day was Chuba Hubbard with fifty eight. I mean, if they can do this to Saquon, that's another way they can wrap it. But how do you think Saquon can can just say, you know what, I'm going to treat you like I've treated pretty much everyone else. Lewis do that as long as this offensive line can somehow some way dominate the line of scrimmage like they do against the majority of the opponents that they have gone against.

And that's really that's that's really what it is. So it's going to be about pass protection for Kansas City. It's going to be about run blocking for Philadelphia. They are just bullies up front and they're not just big oafs. They're not just big wide body guys who don't have athleticism.

Jordan Milot is one of the most athletic players in the entire NFL at left tackle at 360 plus. These guys are a problem. And what's interesting about this is. The reason what the way in which they create explosive plays in their offense is through the run game. And that's why when people were arguing late in the season that filled up, you can't win a Super Bowl or get to a Super Bowl if their offense isn't able to create those 20 plus explosives on the outside in the passing game.

I was saying that's not true. They're just getting them in a different way. They're getting them from a guy who's probably had more 20 plus explosives than anybody in the history of the league in a single season or close to it. I would assume Saquon is your home run hitter. So if the offensive line can somehow dominate the line of scrimmage or get those four, let's just say three or four plus 20 yarders and maybe in there you have a 70 yarder or an 80 yarder like he has done repeatedly. That's how that could be a problem for Kansas City.

That's how it could be. And so we'll spags obviously commit enough people to make sure that you look this isn't rocket science. Saquon can't be the reason why they lose. So they'll get enough resources to it and they'll say, Jalen Hurts, you have to be the reason why we lose. You have to put it up in the air on the outside against our corners, who some people feel outside of Trent McDuffie are suspect.

Some people feel our pass defense is suspect in the back end. Prove it to me. Saquon, you don't have to prove anything to me.

You don't have to prove anything. But Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Devontae Smith, Dallas Goddard, prove to us that your quarterback can get you the ball when our guy, when Chris Jones, when we're moving him up and down the line of scrimmage and he gets to pick who he gets to rush over, prove that you can get the ball to them before he gets to you. That's how it's going to play out. So it's down to the two Jalens, right? For Philadelphia, where if the one on defense can blow things up and if the one on offense, if he's forced to blow it up, can do so just like he did, by the way, in Super Bowl 57.

That's what it could be all about. So how do you feel? You're the first I ask. It's Super Bowl week, Lewis. How do I chalk you up?

I'm allowed to pick the game since I'm calling it for ESPN International. Oh, OK. Look at you. So it's you. Is it you, Fowler and Dan? Yeah. Yeah, man. This is our this is Dan and I is like fifth year, fourth or fifth year.

We still with Steve and doing it with Chris now. So, yeah, it's let me tell you, Rich, like sometimes when you're doing games, you know how it is. Like you kind of lose everything that's around you because you're just doing the game. You're you're you're in the moment in the profession. This is the one time where some like a couple of times I've actually sat there and gone like this is the flipping Super Bowl. This is a game.

And Fowler had that iconic call last year for international on on the winning touchdown that Patrick threw. So, yeah, I think in this one, I I think I'll just put it this way. I think Kansas City is a team of destiny. I know people don't want to hear that.

The whole, you know, Chiefs fatigue, Mahomes fatigue, refs favor to Chiefs, all that BS, whatever. I just think they're they're a team of destiny. They're coached so well. And this team is so calloused and hardened to, you know, pushing off pressure in the most critical of moments. And they always seem to make the right decisions in the most critical of moments. Both the players on the field and the coaching staff overall in that nothing but continuity on the coaching staff.

All three coordinators, plus the head coach, plus the GM, plus the team president, plus the training room, plus the scouting department, although it's gotten hit a little bit this this past year with people leaving. Hey, I just think it's it's we're going to I have a feeling we're going to witness history. Lewis, have a great call on the international feed. Look for more of my calls.

Maybe I'll see you in Indianapolis as well. Right. A couple of weeks. Great. I look I look for you there. And I just always appreciate your time and saying yes when I'm like, hey, come on. I really appreciate it, Lewis.

You got it. You got to see in New Orleans. That's Lewis Riddick on the international call.

If you're around the globe. Listen for Lewis's call with the brilliant booth, Dan Orlovsky and my buddy Chris Fowler. Go back like a car seat with Chris. Great stuff from Lewis Riddick. It's about by the way, shock to it's about the line play, which is why both of these teams build around that. Yes, you got to have generationally brilliant quarterbacks and other weapons around. But when it comes to these two teams, these two franchises, offensive line, defensive line, build out, win the battle of the trenches. We'll hear that a lot this week. We'll take a break. Eight four four two or four rich number to dial here on the Infinity Sports Network. Let's get a sports update from Andrew Bogusch.

How you doing? You are 10 in the handsome world, right? Would you trade in three of your handsome points to get back at them damn giants? Yes.

I'd trade them all. Hey, club brothers too, man. Club 10, brothers. Club 10, brothers. Hey, club 10, brothers.

Club 10, brothers. You see this? Character, character. Please give me something I can take to these movie executives to convince them why we need a black unicorn movie.

You look at this crowd of white unicorns, and all you see is this big, black, handsome unicorn standing there looking like black beauty. It's the best gym club in Boston in Grog's basement. Be honest. I'm going to go down there and talk to your coach, and I'm going to tell that man this man is electrifying.

He has to touch the bar way more than that. Okay? I'm going to go down and tell him. All right.

That's on you, though. No, I'm going to say we talked about it. No, you can't tell. Wait, wait a minute, man. We did talk about it. She come by my house, my bar, and all I had was a black unicorn.

No one wanted because- Nobody want that black unicorn. It was different. It was a tough cookie, man. What cookie would that be? A ginger snap, a Fig Newton, another wafer, a chocolate chip cookie? Chocolate chip. Chocolate chip all day. I figured that all day. At first, I thought he might be more of a Fig Newton guy, but he's more of a chocolate chip guy.

You see what happens? Devin or Jason? Devin.

No, no, no, no. I'm going to be honest, man. You got a twin brother who plays for the Titans. Now, how the hell do everybody in here know it's you and not damn Jason? There's really no way to tell, though, honestly, because Coach Bellashay doesn't even know the difference. I don't want no parent trap stuff going on.

No, I'm better than him, so I can't let him go out there and play for me. Okay, Jason. She rides that black unicorn. They become one. It speaks to her.

The girl has trouble at home, too. Oh, man. That's a great story, man. And we need Queen Latifah to be the mom. We set this place down, baby.

This is the show. Shane B. Smoove, Super Bowl 51. You know how we do. Houston, we got a problem. And then the first ever overtime Super Bowl played out.

28-3 and all that stuff, right? I miss Martellus Bennett. He was great.

He was a great quote. Marty-saurus Rex. Marty-saurus Rex. Where is Marty-saurus Rex now, man? Did he have a pod and everything like that? He did for a minute. Last time he was here, he was working on kids' books.

I think I saw him on Edelman's pod recently. Marty, where you at, Kit? He was a firecracker, to say the least. High and tight, Martellus.

That's all I remember from the hard knocks. Oh, my gosh. Dude, that's eight Super Bowls ago. We've been at this a long time. We've been to a lot of Super Bowls. We're about to go to our next.

Myles Garrett is a guest on Wednesday's program. And I think he comes straight to us from the airport. I think we're getting there first. Oh, we're first up? Yes. Oh, baby.

I believe so. Ooh. We're the first up with the Grim Reaper. So, Chris, we should get that Myles Garrett Browns jersey now. Get that signed. Do what with it? Get an autograph.

What do you do with it? Right, discount it right now. I think he's got, I mean, I don't think he'd have a problem with signing it. I know, but I'm saying it could be the last one. Oh, okay. So, better get it now.

Says the man with an arch manning card. Don't let the urge to sing along to that catchy tune distract you from that truck drifting towards your lane or that lane-splitting biker creeping up beside you, because fortunately, every Hyundai offers advanced safety features that can alert you to potential dangers around you. Hyundai is over 120 IIHS Top Safety Awards since 2006, because Hyundai is always working to ensure the road doesn't get you.

Hyundai vehicles have won over 120 IIHS Top Safety Awards from 2006 to 2024. 844204, Rich. Number to dial. Terzo in Iowa.

How would you care to chime in, sir? What's up, Terzo? Oh, man, Rich, that was some of the craziest news hearing that Luca's going to LA, man. I was telling Adam whenever I had called in, my buddies were texting me, were like, is this real? Did Sean get hacked? I could not believe it. I know. I'm glad he tweeted out, this is real. And so, because I couldn't believe it either.

I'm still having trouble comprehending it. And every single time I see the Mavericks fans flipping out, it's just like, thanks to the call, Terzo, there's some clicking going on here. Every single time I see, there was apparently a funeral. They held a funeral in front of American Airlines Arena. Did you see that?

I saw all the protesters and the signs and whatnot. No, like a casket. Like a casket? Oh, yeah. I didn't see that in a while. They brought a casket out there?

I think we have the footage of it there. Look at this. Oh my God. I know, I know you're upset that Luca's gone, but do you not know who Anthony Davis is? Seriously. By the way, Anthony Davis jars threes too. He's unbelievable.

And he's not, he's not like lost it. This was a number one draft pick. This was an NBA champion. I know, but you know, when, when Charles Barkley dubs your street clothes, it's tough to come back from it. You know? That's fine.

That's for the internet trolls who want to go with that. But if you're watching basketball, you know who Anthony Davis is, you know. He's 26 and 12 this year.

Like I said, I gave you his last three games for the Lakers, 34, 15, 2, and 3. Like. Right.

And, and, and you know, I, I, I think a two man game with Kyrie will be very difficult to defend. Am I wrong? Please tell me I'm wrong. I don't think you're wrong. Right. I mean, again, this benefits the Dallas great greatly in the short term.

You're just looking at five years down the road and of course is just going to be turning 30. And you know what, whoever the Lake high schooler is going to be playing with Luca, you know, that I get that I get that one, I understand, don't you think in the short term this year, if you're trying to win this year, right. Don't you think in the short term this year, putting Anthony Davis, by the way, who was, you know, who was on the staff when they won the, the bubble championship was Jason Kidd. So let's say Kidd knows, inserting him in, in the Dallas, don't you think that would take a less amount of time to start getting up to speed and time for the playoffs and figuring out who's got the ball between LeBron and Luca and where Austin Reeves fits in. And who's rim protecting, who's like, what, what are we doing here? Like it's LeBron going to play center, like, like magic, seriously looked at the rosters.

That wouldn't be, that wouldn't be a crazy idea. And you know, who's coaching Luca is his former teammate. They were teammates, JJ Redick with Luca. So I just, the, the, the Unibrow slander, by the way, that's not a bad fantasy team. Or is that an opening act, you know, slander sounds like a, you know, it sounds like, it sounds like that guy that you've a friend of yours is like, come on out my, my band we're playing on, on Saturday night, we come see Unibrow slander play, you know, but you know, the Unibrow slander. It's like, we're forgetting how he's not good. He's great. Yeah.

He's great. No. Yeah.

Have there been injury issues? Sure. Sure. But now there's more games this year than Anthony Davis. Yeah. But we need AD.

This is the truth, man. And he's very marketable. Like we, you're saying sell more tickets, that guy's marketable for real hour two coming up. Chandler. Chandler Parson said this morning that he texted Mark Cuban. I'm so confused when it happened and Mark wrote back.

That makes two of us. Is that right? People are wondering if Mark Cuban was involved. He is not. He sold the majority of his stake already.

He's out. He's still just like the fakes, right? And a lot of people like you would never have traded Luca. Well, he said famously he would rather get divorced than trade Luca. Well, the reactions around the league have been amazing. You've seen some of the reactions of the players, resident Laker, aficionado and nut job and co-host of no contest wrestling O'Shea Jackson Jr. TJ, you guys were, we're recording when this came about and we have the reaction of O'Shea Jr. learning about it.

Logan Paul eliminates punk and it was a two for one, right? Logan eliminating- You guys are recording a pod now, right? On his phone as he's getting an alert right now? Looking like you're seeing a ghost right now or something.

Yeah, I'm on zoom on my laptop. He's in the room next to me. Our rooms were right next to each other.

So don't bully an hour in my room. I was afraid someone died. To be honest with you, the way this went down, he's doing something. The Lakers just got Luca Doncic. No they didn't. We traded Anthony Davis. No, you didn't. You're lying.

He isn't biked. The Lakers just got Luca Doncic for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a first round pick. No. He's telling me the Lakers just got Luca Doncic for Luca Doncic. Where are you seeing this at? It's all over. It's all over. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. The Lakers are trading.

The Mavericks are trading Luca Doncic, Maxie Kleber, and Marquis Morris to the Lakers for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a 2029 first round draft pick. Sources tell- Wow. Holy cow. Sorry wrestling fans. We're going to have to keep... We're keeping this in because this is...

I can't believe you guys didn't curse. This is wild. Wow. Oh shit.

I need that for Avatar. Look at... Oh shit. People on our Twitter have already started using that. Fantastic, guys.
