And you know, things are shaking out. It's kind of just like one minute. You think you're in a game next minute, Saquon Barkley's running for 70, 75 yards to just break your back.

I took, I took the dog for a walk at halftime and around the block is basically 10 to 12 minutes, which is 12 minutes as an NFL halftime. I walk in the door and the score changed and only 11 seconds went off the clock. And I look at Sarah and I'm like, what happened?

She goes, oh, Saquon went 75 on the first play. Oh yeah. Oh, cool. Yeah.

She's like, I'm sorry for not pausing. And I'm like, how could you have known? How could you have known? Unbelievable. All right.

So there's lots to overreact to or not hit it. That was terrible. That was crap.

That was garbage. All right, Christopher, I'm sure you've got a lot on your shoot there that you're hiding from me as a fine. That's what I mean.

It's like, you got, you got, you know, you're doubling down and you don't want to see the next card. You know what I'm saying? Yes.

Cooper doesn't know anything about that yet. Yeah. Rich, you were there last night and so far.

Yes. You saw the best team in the NFL Eagles are the best team in the NFL and Saquon is going to be the first non QB MVP since 2011. Let's let's take that second part first. Cause I'm going to go all in on this when we start re reacting and talking on the flagship show, I think you should to kick off this week. Saquon Barkley is the MVP of the national football league in 2024. I don't want to hear much conversation until he falters in the next six weeks or say someone like Josh Allen continues to perform the way that he is. And the bills wind up having the best record in the AFC being the one seat over the chiefs because of him. I don't want to hear anything about Lamar Jackson until potentially the Ravens have a better record than these Eagles.

I'm, I'm setting the bar very high. If you can't tell right now from other quarterbacks that are in line for MVP campaigns and worthy MVP campaigns, but I don't want to hear another second about this because Saquon has done it since week one, he's done it in different hemispheres. He has done it in different quarters. He has done it in different ways, running and catching again.

I was there last night. Anytime he came on the field, it was like, Oh, and anytime he left the field, it was like, okay, let's see what Jalen hurts and AJ Brown can do honestly. And, and that's how it felt watching it at home. And I know MVP is usually because there's no one else there. That's not the case with the Eagles. There's a lot else there as Jalen hurts said after the game, when you add an issue to another issue, you have a problem. That's what he has brought to bear for the Eagles that said, you have to make a case for the Eagles as being better than the lines right now. And you can see it.

You can see it. You can see how they are playing, how they have won seven in a row. Now, how they're playing on both sides of the football so well, they're playing lights out on defense. Now as well, you can make the case, the Eagles are the best team in the NFL.

I don't believe I'm going to have them number one on my power rankings list on Wednesday. Cause I'm, I, I, I don't believe the lions performed so poorly in Indianapolis that they, they would be knocked off that perch. But they didn't put the Colts away like the Eagles did to the Rams on Sunday night. The Eagles put the Rams away so you can make the case.

The Eagles are the best team in the NFL. And on the back end of this, I don't think we can make a case for somebody else being as valuable and a difference maker and a guy every single time he's on the field, doing what he is doing at a ball dependent position. He needs someone else to give it to him, not a quarterback who someone else giving it to him as the center. He needs somebody to give it to him. He needs to have the play called, called in his way. He needs to do everything and he's doing it all for the Eagles.

And that's not an overreaction. So yeah, Saquon third in the odds right now. Uh, Josh Allen first understand Omar Jackson. Second, obviously we haven't seen Lamar play on Monday night yet. I get it. And, and he may be ready to do something special to the chargers. And I, I totally agree. That would make the maiden for these other team is nine and two and they've won seven in a row and they're beginning to destroy everyone in their path and in their wake. And the reason why they feel invincible. There's other, there's many reasons. It's Saquon Barkley is number one.

What else do you have? Where do you put that? Just real quick. Where do you put that on one of the best single game performances you've ever seen in person at the very top of the list? I've never seen anybody with 300 plus total yards to 70 or two. I saw a stat. He's the first, uh, running back to have two 70 plus touchdown runs in the same game since MJD in 09.

I do not like what I see out of the Texans, man, but, but what, what you're seeing out of the bucks. I still don't know if they're going to win that division. Even if I, I don't know about that.

I don't know about that. And they beat up on the giant, but they beat them up. They beat them up. And I'm still concerned about the Falcons. The only thing that we're sure of with the Texans right now is that when they win the division, they will be the first playoff game on the Saturday of wild super wild card. That is the Houston Texans window. Like nobody could, nobody, the Texans win the AFC South.

Nobody can knock the Houston Texans out of the first window of the playoffs one 30 Eastern Saturday. Just block it, lock it in, lock it in. Yeah. That's it's theirs. Yeah.

No one else can touch it. That's funny. Or is it, or is it the four o'clock? Yeah. It's probably the four o'clock. There's two on Saturday and there's three on Sunday now.

And there's one on Monday. Okay. Yeah.

So four 30. Yeah. It'll be at this point in time, like Texans runner up of the AFC North to kick off the, uh, while super wild card week.

Yeah. And I think if they, if it's Pittsburgh or Baltimore, they're going to get blasted I, I don't love what I'm seeing. I do not disagree with a syllable that just came out of your mouth into this microphone on the overreaction Monday set. But even if it's like Vikings in Atlanta, the Vikings are going to be favored in that game. Um, I, I would be concerned for the Atlanta Falcons again, but if the, isn't this amazing? How many times have we kept our finger on the chest piece talking about the NFC South it's just like, we're like, we're like coming in the season. It was like Atlanta is the, is the team.

Yeah. Then, you know, they needed to pull something out of their orifice against Philadelphia, by the way. I know Saquon doesn't drop the ball.

I know that, which is like the only blemish on Saquon season. Um, and, and then, you know, the bucks call us out on their social, social media, and then we're like, man, sorry, sorry, sorry. And then it's saying, Hey, look at the Falcons. And now here we are Thanksgiving Monday and going, Hey, don't look out, look out for the buck. If the bucks win a division, I would push back on that. Don't you think Baker welcoming in Sam Darnold one versus three in that draft for wildcard weekend is what makes the most sense here. I do like how the bucks run the ball, but I'll push back and say that's an overreaction. Can't really judge the bucks after beating the giants.

Only guarantee is the Texans will start the playoffs. That is, I don't know. I can't even call my network. That's a peacock. It's going to be streaming only. You got to have a peacock game, be a team that you people are going to pay for. Sorry, Texans. Wow. I just went on.

I mean, you couldn't be on more honest. What else? This next topic is what this show is all about. Okay. This is what this show is all about. What a setup.

Okay. What a massive windup this is. Here's the pitch. The Cowboys are making the playoffs and the commanders are missing them. The Cowboys are making the playoffs. The Cowboys are making the playoffs. How does it, how do the Cowboys make the playoffs?

They went out or go nine and eight. Nine and eight's not making a playoffs. In the NFC? In the NFC. Yeah. Nine and eight's not making the playoffs. By the way, this commander's Cowboys game was so off the charts that it included and a near 90 yard touchdown on one play that had to be had both of those kickoff returns, kickoff return for a touchdown.

But the one that they had to have to tie the game, only to miss the extra point. Oh my God. And then the on-site run it back. Right.

So the, so the commander's had one more possession instead of just finding down in the game. But the Cowboys were showing for our, for those who are listening to us, we appreciate it on our YouTube channel feed the Cowboys. Aren't even sniffing it. They're not even in the sniffing it category wins.

Momentum is a real thing, right? Well, they'll beat the giants. I agree on Thanksgiving. If you look at the Cowboys schedule in the neck, they have three weeks in a row of winnable games. Now you can't just chalk it up. Now suddenly they're seven and seven dude, three to go home as Monday night at home against Cincinnati. And then at Carolina Carolina has played some really good football in the last three weeks.

Bryce young has been redeemed. Come on Tampa at Philly. Get out of here, Philly resting guys at the end of the year. And then they're going to have week 18. That's going to end up being a game.

What, what, what number is not two 56 anymore, right? It's not going to be for the Cowboys commanders for a playoff spot. It's not going to be for that Cooper rush season is upon us.

I know you're trying to do this to cast the spotlight on up and how much trouble are the Washington commanders. Oh, they're, they're, they're all, they're not making the playoffs at all at all. They're done. You don't think they're making the playoffs. What, what about watching them on Sunday gives you any confidence? Not much.

Well, Levis is going to beat them next week. Okay. Okay. That dude was slinging it everywhere.

All right. At new Orleans. And then a much needed by week four, losing four in a row into the bi-week much needed. They've lost three in a row right now. I'm saying they're going to lose next week. Oh my gosh.

No, that's Cowboys in commanders out. Absolutely absurd. What else? You know, like Cooper rush season. What if they signed Daniel Jones this week? Who does Dallas Dallas isn't going to sign Daniel Jones. What if they do?

They're not going to, they don't want to, why would they need to just in case Cooper rush goes down to save their season. Get out of here, dude. Just saying, I know this could date.

This could be dated material. Daniel Jones should be either a rater. Well, they're not trying to win games. So he's not going to be a rater, a rater, a 49er, a dolphin, a Raven teams that need him.

That was a report over the weekend that he wants to be on a contender. Yeah. So, I mean, you don't want to have a Raven. That's good. I didn't think of Raven.

That's a good one. Yeah. Josh Johnson is the next step after Lamar.

He's played on half the team in the league. So Daniel Jones is on his way at this point. What else? Okay.

I was having trouble wording this one. Great setup, but I want to, it's really more about the quarterbacks, the Panthers and bears got their number one QBs, right. In Caleb and Bryce, meaning, ah, are we so sure about CJ and Jayden Daniels?

That whole narrative of like, Oh, well the number two quarterbacks were better. Actually, hold on. I have more confidence in Caleb and Bryce right now. Right now. Sure.

And going forward. Right now you could make the case. I mean, split moment right now, the quarterback between last year's first and second overall picks and this year's first and second overall picks playing the best football, the most consistent football right now is Bryce young. You could make that case right now.

I eyeballed him in Germany personally. And then what he did yesterday against the chiefs, he's playing in rhythm. He's seeing the field better. He's not making silly mistakes. He's accurate and he's feeling more confident.

You know, Caleb is still is making the rookie mistake here and there. He was balling on Sunday though, but that, that, that moment in overtime where he held onto it for 10 seconds and took the sack is just, it's a killer. It killed, it was an absolute killer. It killed their drive to open overtime.

Yeah. They had the momentum. They shocked the Vikings by getting an onside kid by forcing over time. That throw that Caleb made over the middle to set up Cairo Santos is great for the game tire to force over time. Oh, that's the guy was absolutely slinging it. He was throwing darts and he did look really good.

So that should quiet any of the people that are like, they got it wrong or he's a bust, which is totally stupid. Yeah. Agreed.

Never was never was on point. And I'd like to see Caleb with some real offensive coaches. I don't know what's going on with CJ Stroud this year. I he's, I don't know what, I mean, he hasn't been protected and I think he gets, I don't know, I'm not an, I'm not a tape head. It just makes sense that, that, that his protection has been poor for a month and a half.

Yeah. There, there are reasons why that, that, that was happening that weren't there last year. And Jayden Daniels went through, is going through a three week stretch, but the fourth quarter, he definitely, you know, showed back up again. Well, the numbers look a little bit better when Karen McLaurin goes 80 yards. I think the fact that they've closed the gap on the number twos over the last three weeks makes sense.

I'm not there yet. I think this is still an overreaction. I, I, I like where your head's at for this program, but out of the four of them, the last three weeks in the narrative, Oh, number twos are so much better. Didn't you say that Panthers were not going to have a top 10 pick? Yeah. I thought they, I thought they could win a few games, get maybe to five or six wins.

They would not have a top 10 pick. And I, did I call that an overreaction at the time? I think so.

You might've, but you might be onto something. They played really well against the chiefs. I wonder where you heard that last week. Dude, they played well against the chiefs and Carolina coming up next has got Tampa at home at Philly, home for Dallas, home for Arizona at Tampa, at Atlanta, winnable games in there, but no, no, I mean, yes, I guess, but, but, but, but, but games in which Bryce Young's evaluation will take an interesting turn twist or spotlight cast on it because for Carolina, Tampa, Philadelphia, Arizona, Tampa, again, Atlanta all have playoff runs that they're on right now. Right. And so they could play, if you will spoiler. And if you want just to go back a couple of overreactions ago, week 15 home for Dallas, maybe that could be the moment they put the final nail in the Cooper rush season coffin or Dallas like is, Oh, we're a playoff team.

Okay. We've reached halftime everybody. I love what he's doing. He had a very nice game in Chicago. By the way, you know, poor Bears man. They've lost six in a row at home to the Packers. They've now lost five in a row at home to the Vikings. It's tough to compete in your division when you lose.

That's rough. When you lose multiple division games at home in a row like that at any rate. We had 330 something yards yesterday. Only a handful of Justin Jefferson. He was really distributing the ball.

Looked awesome on the game winning jive and overtime. I like it and I just think again the NFC championship game, if it's not Eagles Lions right now, that would be just a major upset. That would be a major upset. You're probably right, but I'm saying if anyone's gonna crash a party, I think it might be Minnesota. Minnesota would have to go into Detroit to do that. Let's see what happens when Minnesota goes into Detroit, the final game of the regular season. Let's see what happens there. That could be for the one seed.

Let's see what happens there. But those two slip ups after their bye week, a home against Detroit, which was really close as you know, they had that lead late. Detroit won it. And then the loss here at the Rams, who could not stop Saquon and AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts on a Sunday night. That was a Thursday night and they also lost their left tackle in the middle of that game.

So they've been playing extremely well. And to the point where Coop, my son here, who's watching us record this was saying last night, is JJ McCarthy going to be the starter next year still? It's a legitimate question. Well, Sam Darnold's on a one-year, so he's going to be a free agent after the season.

I understand that. You know, who's going to come get him? Who's going to go get him?

Somebody's gonna. Minnesota should just maybe keep him. Well, he's going to have his choice. That said, we will see what does in fact happen here with Sam Darnold. But I just think right now to say he is going to lead the Vikings to the NFC championship game, meaning going into Detroit or Philadelphia to knock one of those teams off.

Unless, you know, others do it before he has to get there. And the key thing is if somebody does do that, you know, let's say the Packers or some team that sneaks in as the seven seed, Washington, could they do something like that? Then Minnesota having as many wins as they have in the five seated position could potentially host.

Ooh, there you go. Now that's your scenario. That's a dream for the Vikings. I just, I can't see the lions or the Eagles.

What an NFC championship game that would be. I mean, and that's, that's the way I'm going to go right now. And I know that's conventional thinking and you're, you're checking outside the box.

Is that your job for a pod like this? Yeah. I'll just call that an overreaction. This is the team that nobody's really talking about right now. We were wondering what a month, six weeks ago, if Darnell has turned into a pumpkin.

Well, it seems like he's, he's got it back and he was really slinging it against the bears. Yeah. What else?

All right. Uh, I'm sure we're going to talk about this a lot on the flagship show. And I can't get enough of thinking about the off season hard knocks and how illuminating that was. They're thinking behind, uh, do we resign Saquon? Do we let them go? And that one guy in the meeting and whatever office that was, he was trying to be like, well, are we sure anyone's going to pay him right?

Why don't we pay him? Saquon's dominance proves that the giants need to clean house and be all in on the Belicheck sweepstakes. I honestly thought driving down here, like, would Chris actually make firing a coach and a general manager part of overreaction Monday.

And I'm like, what will I say if he does that? So I saw this, I saw this haymaker telegraphed here. Unlike Mike Tyson, you chose to deliver it and not pull back. I just, again, the only way that the giants clean house is if they finish up the final games, the same way they just came off their buy against the bucks at home in front of their fans, looking like they quit and all the players coming out afterwards saying, I think not everybody's trying hard. I mean, it's just like neighbors. It's not the quarterback, bro. I know. And he just put that right on his coach.

Wow. And I, I, I don't, I don't blame Malik neighbors for being a frustrated young man when it's just like, all right, I know what I can do. Everybody's seen what I can do. I did what I can do first half targets, zero first half targets.

What do we do now? Zero first half targets. But I mean, again, is that, is that entirely on the coach? I mean, it's on, it's on the quarterback, man. You're like, yo, Malik's the first read here, throw it to him no matter what.

Well, it's a, it's, it's a mash up of just awfulness right now. And the only thing is, is how much of a member Joe judge was in a position to stick around. And then he took a knee on a third down, you know, and a, a, a surrender formation, not a victory formation, but he took a knee on a third down back in, you know, with his, Daniel Jones with his goal line behind him, they just said, we're, we're just not going to try to make that first down here. We're just taking a knee and then we're going to punt. And that kind of that surrender flipped a switch in the fan base in the 24, seven, three 65 sports talk radio world to the point where, um, ownership couldn't ignore it.

That to me is the only way that they wind up cleaning complete house here. Well, they're going to, I'm sure they're on the back pages, but the double dip of Saquon Barkley, right? That's what I mean, by the way, we're going to talk about this on the flagship show. Saquon Barkley had more scrimmage yards than the entire giant's team on Sunday against Tampa for that to happen. And Saquon to do this on national television and the biggest stage Sunday night football in Los Angeles, California market two of the United States, everybody saw what Saquon did for the Eagles on a day where the giants are in full revolt. And the fan base is about to light up phone lines all day long. The jets are on a buy.

Okay. The hot stove hasn't really heated up yet. We're waiting on Soto. The Knicks and the nets are, you know, still fine.

We're a month into the rain. You know what I mean? Like the, the, the sports talk radio focus in New York city on this day of this recording is all about the giants, especially because we're all, every, every show is going to be talking about Saquon as MVP. Right?

So this is the, this is the lowest point right now, and it can get lower. If the Eagles go on a nice long playoff run as well, but that's the time when the decision is going to have to be made about the coaching staff and the front office, the next few games, I know they want to lose, but they got to show, they got to be competitive. And that's the way that maybe they flip the switch Belicheck. I don't know if that's the guy who's going to come.

If I had a guess, Bill's going to be in Jacksonville, Florida. You want to come home, start over the giants could have the number one pick in the draft. I don't know. I just don't know if that's the way it's going to go.

That one, you know, they, they might just want to go young and get a new quarterback. And that's that, you know, what else do you got? All right, Rich last one.

All right. Before we get to our future overreactions, I'm taking a look at the standings, the playoff standings. I think the AFC playoff field is set with six weeks to go. These are the seven teams. The AFC playoff is set.

Can we, uh, may I call it? These are the seven teams, the chiefs check, Bill's check, Texans check, even though the Colts are two back that, but it's really three back because they've been swept Texans check Steelers. I'll check them charges and Broncos.

How about the Broncos man? And Bo Nix is the truth. Next up is a Monday nighter against Cleveland. Bo Nix is the truth. Bo Nix is playing very, very well. Um, Ravens check.

Oh man, that is not an overreaction. Although I'll say the dolphins have a real chance to crash the party. The dolphins have the chance to gain game and a half back, but who are they going to leapfrog leapfrog?

I that's a great question. I mean, somebody's going to have to fall back to the pack and you know, the, the, the way, the way that it could be that the team that if I had a guest Ravens, I wasn't going to go Ravens. I was going to go Steelers. Oh, I was going to say, look, if the chargers win on Monday night and beat the Ravens, they're now seven and five.

That's a tough month. So the chargers are okay. But the Steelers are the ones that it really, yeah.

The reason why, the reason why I say it, here's why I say it is that I didn't like what I saw in that snowy offense that, that Russ and they finally did get in the end zone. They did have a long stretch of, of, uh, about two games where they were having trouble scoring. They do have red zone issues.

Right. And then they have that, that Sunday, Saturday, Wednesday issue of playing three games real fast. And the three games that they play real fast are at Philly, at Baltimore home for Kansas city. And they've already lost one at Cleveland. And if they drop one of their division games at Cincinnati or Cleveland, that three week stretch would really cause me some grave concern. They could also be 10 and three going into that stretch and they'll be fine. The dolphins though, have some winnable games here. The dolphins third at Thanksgiving night at Green Bay. That's not easy.

That's fun. They have the jets twice and they they're at Houston. I think they, you know, if Houston has their usual troubles, mistakes here, mistakes there. I mean, Miami's just boat racing people home for San Francisco is, is winnable, right? Correct at Cleveland. I mean, the dolphins can go on a roll here.

That'd be fun. Somebody's somebody they're going to have to pack their cold weather gear at Cleveland and at the jets, but somebody's going to have to fall back to the pack for that to happen. And we just identified the teams that could, but I, I can sit here and say, this is not an overreaction to say the AFC playoff field is set.

I don't think that's an overreaction. The dolphins though. I think we have identified more than the Colts. You're giving up on the Bengals.

Finally. I can't quit them, but four and seven is a steep hole, bro. Yeah. We're we're sitting here saying, can a five and 16 that's on a roll with a red hot quarterback and an offense that everybody's trying to stop waddle and Hill. So, so, so, so all two needs to do is what, and McDaniel needs to do is keep hitting them with John who Smith and HN, you know what I mean? Like Smith revival. So, so try and stop those two wideouts and let me hit you with John who Smith and a bunch of HN, you know? And so that's what they're doing.

And two is not missing at all. The defense is beginning to play a little better. And so we're sitting here wondering if that five and 16 can make it, I'm going to sit here and say the Bengals at four and seven or one, you know, so we've identified the team that could crash the party. And it's amazing. We're looking at the chargers and the Steelers is to be the ones to fall off, not Denver, but Denver's home for Cleveland. And then they're on a buy to get nice and healthy home for Indianapolis at the chargers at Cincinnati home for Kansas city, who, as we all know, they had checkmated until that blocked field goal. So.

Well their fifth walk-off win of the season. I get it. I get it, but they still do it, you know, just perfect case. And, you know, they, they left dude, they left a minute and 50 seconds left on the clock. It's just like watching a horror movie, you know, like the guy in the chainsaw is going to come in the house.

What are you doing? Yeah. All right.

And he wears 15. My future overreaction this week is same team. The championship window for the 49ers is closed. Oh, that's the tag.

I mean, I think that's the tag. Didn't I say that before the season championship window is closed. No doubt about that. Okay. There will be doubt about it because there's still a very deep team.

They're still going to then this year we'll just to make them hungry. That's all I'm saying. Okay.
