Earlier on the show, Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino. Coming up, ESPN college football analyst Josh Payt, Rams running back Blake Corum, Steelers defensive tackle Cam Hayward, actor. Rob Riggle, and now it's Rich Eisen. Hour number two of the Rich Eisen show is on the air.

So Quentin Nelson just acquired by the Seattle Seahawks gave my opinion as the Colts are beginning to dismantle a little bit. Let's let's call it what we see it. Venny Pasquillino on the state of the World Series, which is the Brewers one game away from sweeping the Rays. Also, I've got a fresh. Mug of hot coffee that I I poured into the Rich Eisen Show mug that you can get on RichEisenShop dot com during the commercial break after the Vinnie Pasquintino interview and somebody's asking me because you could see the steam coming out if I'm boiling water in this oh and I am not boiling water in the mug oh no good so.

Damn fine, and hot, and hot. Thank you so much. Appreciate that, Mike.

So, giving everyone up to speed, ladies and gentlemen. Josh Paye back on the Rich Eisen show on Tuesday. Spot, good to see you, Josh. How are you, buddy? Good to see you.

Thinking about thinking about giving mom and dad Rich Eisen shop gift cards. Oh, Christmas? Have you decided on it yet? Haven't decided. Just considering it.

Okay, very good. But listen. I see you. You see me. Let's just whatever they want, whatever you need.

Just let me know.

So yeah, that's the way it works. That's that's it's that easy. It is that easy. Come on, you were right. This was a great idea.

I was right. Finally, glad we did. Hey, listen, Josh has been in; he's in the media a long time. Free stuff—that's the way to our heart. Oh, the way to everybody's heart in this in this business, sir.

Man, Oregon is basically a shadow of what everyone expected this year. The OC getting bounced, and then the announcement. From Dan Lanning, that Dante Moore, the hit he took in USC, he's going to be out for the year. Which, listen, if if Oregon's out of the mix for the national championship, I totally understand a kid with his large a future in the National Football League, as we expect to to make this decision as well. What are you hearing?

What are your thoughts on everything, Josh? Yeah, I don't think it's a big shock given the circumstances, like you said, that he's done for the year. I think you know Lanning and his media Availability yesterday was very, very quick to say. Just so you guys know, this is not him ducking the rest of the year. We can't put him back in right now.

He cannot go back in right now.

So that's the Don. That's the Dante Moore piece of it. The whole larger piece is this question. Folks keep asking. They keep saying, "Where does Oregon go from here?" Well, they finish the season.

They look at it and they chalk it up to being a lost season, which is not a new concept, Rich. That's happened before. Teams have been ranked highly and they've fallen off a cliff. What hasn't happened before, because we're in a new era, is teams spending forty some odd million dollars on rosters and then falling off the cliff. And we're going to find out how the general college football society handles that.

We're seeing it at A and M. We may be seeing it at Texas, although that's on hold for now. We are seeing. At Oregon, who knows what the future holds for LSU? But they've got their fate still entirely in their hands.

I I think it would be fun slash eye opening one day. Probably a long ways down the road. If you ever get Truth Serum and Dan Lanning, and you get him to give a full testimonial of this year, and be brutally honest, what he learned, what he found himself thinking in real time, how quickly did he know the offensive coordinator hire was a disaster, and it wasn't a hire; it was an elevation. Because I know it's easy to look at it now and say, "Wow, this is terrible." You could have questioned it in spring and summer, though. Those were the glaring.

Questions. I won't call them weaknesses in July, but the questions was offensive line because they did not really go to the portal, even though they lost a bunch of guys. And he elevated two coordinators from within.

Now I know his thinking because I've talked to him about it. His thinking was, we were close last year. We got to the postseason. We had a big mess with coaches taking jobs and then trying to do double duty.

So if I think we're close and I trust the people in our building, I'm going to promote from within. Like that makes perfect sense. You hope you have such a Rock solid culture that the replacement candidates are already in your building. It doesn't always work out that way, though.

So, like, he's nailed two of his three coordinator hires, mind you. If everyone's going to hate on landing, rightfully so for this hire. Remember, that's the same dude who circled Kenny Dillingham, and then when Dillingham left, circled Will Stein. And those two dudes are current head coaches.

So, I don't think it's an inability to spot offensive coaching talent. I just think he got really. Really caught up, just like Mike Elko at A and M did. In we're already a playoff team. We've got coordinator openings.

Let's promote from within. Let's not upset the balance we already have here. And I understand why Landing would say. And I, you know, Dante Moore is not ducking the rest of the season. Um, and and if he can't put him back in, then that that makes complete sense here.

Um, as well, like both of them makes total sense to me. Um. Is arch back like where? Where are we in the Texas Sark arch love triangle or hate triangle? Where?

What? What? I don't know what to call the triangle, Josh. But I'll oh, it's it's one thousand percent a love triangle.

Okay, great. There's no need to mince words here. It's a love triangle. That's what it is. Good old-fashioned Saturday love triangle.

Okay, amongst us hasn't been there so. Nothing changed with him. They won a game last week because Relic Brown went for over 150 on the ground. That's what changed. Texas could run the ball.

That's what changed. Arch Manning, for all the talk about edginess and people doubting him and back against the wall, he was largely the same player he's been all year. The difference was they could run the ball, and if they can continue to do that, Texas is a very dangerous team because you know what they've got on the defensive side. I don't care how far down Muschamp's nose those read. Glasses go.

He can get it done. They are they are lights out defensively, and that's even without Colin Simmons.

So. They lost the left tackle for the year. That is a very, very big blow. Cam Coleman was lost, although it looks like he may be back. But I mean, that guy's been an underachievement so far at wide receiver relative to the money they're paying him.

Relative to if they paid him half of what they're paying him, frankly, he's been a little bit of an underachievement. But it is October 27th, and they've got everything in front of them, and they got Mississippi State minus Camario Taylor this weekend, and then they're going to go to LSU. Season will be on the line, and LSU will be coming off an Alabama game, like LSU plays Bama, Texas, Tennessee, just boom, boom, boom. They've got everything to play for. Here's where I'm always cautious.

I'm cautious because I remember Miami last year, and I remember about this time of year they were coming off the SMU loss. It was their second loss of the year. They had been left for dead. I didn't even think they'd make the playoff at that point.

Well, imagine showing us back in mid-October a flash forward in our lives to January when they're at. Midfield with a chance to win a national championship, you would have said, "Hey, how's that going to happen?" This team just lost to SMU.

Well, obviously, they're going to round into a much better form than what they had been. Texas has all those ingredients to round into a much better form than they have been, and I'll say, even with the injuries baked in, but it's not because Arch Manning is just undergoing this rapid evolution. Like once people started doubting him, he just went superhero mode. It's nothing like that, and I think they'll still have wobbliness. There has not been a chunk of.

Any game this year where I've just looked and said, "Boy, they're in rhythm now, drive after drive after drive." It hasn't been that. It's been like trying to nail Jello to the wall all year to try and figure them out, and it's going to continue to be that way. But you cannot write them off, surely, because of the talent they have, and therefore how combustible that potentially is if it all mixes together the right way. You know, this is kind of funny, Josh. I'm I'm going to reveal a 21st century moment in my household here.

My fifth. 18-year-old Cooper texted me on Saturday, late afternoon, early evening. "Quote: I was gonna play PS5, but all of a sudden BYU UCF turned into the game of the year." Is what he texted me. He's not too far off, man. And BYU going down just is another.

Flip of the chessboard here, man. It's just flipped up in the air, and I am just wondering: Do we have any sense of the twelve going into November in a way that's more murky than in previous years? Am I my kind of getting that spotty sense right here, Josh? Yes. Because we don't have a north star, we don't have we don't have a dominant team.

Miami's not that. They just went to overtime with FSU two weeks ago. Like, yes, the very, very most recent version of Miami that we saw looks that way.

Okay.

So let's say for the moment, just hit pause on time right now. Miami is our dominant north star.

Okay.

If we have that, then we have something with which to judge everyone else by. But we haven't really had that for a consistent three week period of time in the season this entire year. And for all I know, that's going to change when Miami. Miami goes to North Carolina this week. They should mop the floor with North Carolina.

Don't know if they will. They of course go to Notre Dame the week after that.

So we'll find out a lot more then. Yeah. I keep I keep asking myself because it's clearly it's clear we got to look at this thing different right now because we don't have super teams anymore.

So even the best teams are flawed.

So you could pick them all apart.

So obviously, if we marry ourselves to the old way of judging teams, it's going to be complete anarchy come Selection Sunday because the old way of judging teams was. You decided who you think should be in, and then you pick apart the resume of the team that shouldn't have been in.

Well, every resume is going to be able to be picked apart because you could pick apart any of these teams because we're still so close to the old way that we still have ourselves married to the old way of thinking. Like this team would get crushed by Alabama.

Well, yeah, in 2016, if you were talking about the number nine team in the country, you're probably right. But in 2026, the number nine team in the playoffs last year played for a national. Because it was Miami, and we've even gone further down the slippery slope of competitive balance and parity.

Now, it's a really good thing; it's a really entertaining thing. I just think you got to be very careful trying to think in definitives now more than ever. You just got to wipe the slate clean every week, and that especially goes for that playoff committee. Because I will tell you right now, we are a week away from the first playoff rankings coming out, and one of the things I'm really interested to see. You were talking about Brigham Young, there.

Well, they beat Notre Dame a couple of weeks ago, and I am looking at this AP poll this past weekend. Notre Dame's at five already with a loss. And I think a lot of people are either projecting with that ranking or they're eyeball testing with that ranking, which I'm told is not how the AP is supposed to work. But I digress. I'm interested to see if the playoff committee rankings view Notre Dame that favorably.

Because if they do, Rich, if we if we're sitting here a week from today and later that night that playoff committee ranks Notre Dame fourth or fifth or sixth, buddy, can they not afford to lose close to the number one team in the country and still not drop out? Because it it would sure Seem that way to me. Is it fair to say the game of the week is out here with Ohio State starting?

Somebody Ryan Day is being very coy as to who he's going to start. With Julian saying now in a sling, and then USC, you dropped some breadcrumbs a couple weeks ago saying that more losses are coming. They got waxed in Wisconsin, but I guess. It's Wisconsin sports time of the millennium right now, with baseball and everything else going on. What do you think with USC potentially having a, I guess a a fork in the road moment for their coach?

Is that fair to say these are the stakes, Josh? I think the fork in the road was the Oregon game, which is why I told you what I told you on air after the Oregon game. I don't, frankly, I don't know that him beating Ohio State really changes my perception of Lincoln Riley all that much. You can say that's fair, that's not fair. I mean, Ohio State will be starting either Luke Feighy or Tavian Saint Clair.

Either way, it'll be the first start for one of those guys on the road. They're still favored by a touchdown. Point spreads don't matter once the ball's kicked off. But if he wins that game, and it's because Ohio State is non-functional offensively, and it's just kind of a gross-looking game, that hasn't told me anything about Lincoln Riley. Lincoln Riley coming out of a bye week, unable to hang more than seven points on Wisconsin.

That tells me everything I need to know about Lincoln Riley. Lincoln Riley getting beat by double digits by frankly a bad Oregon team when you. Knock Oregon starting quarterback out of the game and still can't do anything with the opportunity. That tells me all I need to know about Lincoln Riley.

So. I do think it's the most entertaining game of the weekend because you, you, the storyline crowd will get drunk on this game. You don't even have to care about the football. You could just watch the quarterback piece with Ohio State. You could do the whole head coaching drama thing with USC.

I mean, sisters and wives and cousins who couldn't care less about football they could be drawn to this one.

Okay, so then what? What's the game of the week in your estimation? Give me that one for for the mind's eye before I. Let you go on with the rest of your Tuesday, John. You're not sponsored by Investco, are you?

I don't believe so. Let me check. Nope. Go for it.

Okay.

Well, I don't know if you've heard, but the Investco QQQ Atlanta Gridiron Classic is going down. Formerly the world's largest outdoor cocktail party, before it got corporatized and bastardized beyond recognition and moved to a different venue. The actual football game has a lot of stakes on it. That's Georgia, Florida, Jacksonville. Under construction, so instead of having the good sense to play the game on home campus, plural of campus for two years, they're going to do it in Atlanta and Tampa because there was there were so many so many cries to play more college football games in Mercedes Benz and Raymond James Stadium.

So Florida's still alive in the playoff picture. Georgia, obviously, in prime position in the playoff picture. Here's how real it could get very quickly for Georgia. They've already got a loss. They just lost to Auburn.

The world seems to have forgotten that, but they just lost to Auburn, so they already have a blemish. They got Florida, and they got at Ole Miss. I believe they got South Carolina coming up, which looks you know a lot more daunting than it once did. Georgia could go from prime position to back against the wall really quick themselves, and Florida could jump right back into the mix.

So there are a lot of those games actually. Like the SEC, I was looking at someone earlier today talk about all these SEC teams in the mix, and because they're all going to play each other, there are ten more guaranteed losses amongst those contenders that have to go some.

So some of them are going to get knocked out. It's just can can one or two of them stack the wins? I think that's a really underrated game. But as far as storyline and drama, it's in the L.A. Coliseum.

We're chopping it up with the Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum here on the Rich Eisen show, and it seemed like to me, sitting in my living room and my couch, watching your game against the Raiders, that there appeared to be more of a focus on giving you and Kyron the Rock this week.

Is that a fair assumption? But yeah, I would say that's fair. I think we were definitely trying to, you know, establish to run a little more than we did in the previous weeks, and you know we were able to do that against the Raiders. You know, credit to the offensive line, tight ends, and receivers; they were blocking the tails off all game, but. Yeah, we definitely were able to get the run game open, going, and which was tremendous.

Opened up, you know, the play action and so forth, and so it definitely felt good. You know, just getting in that rhythm. You know, seeing, you know, Kyron doing his thing. You know, myself just doing my thing, getting in that flow, and so it felt great. Yeah, sixteen carries for ninety nine yards for Kyron, seventeen for ninety three for you.

You both scored your longest runs, both seven. Yards. How do you guys stay competitive while together? Though I mean, obviously, he wants touches. He was seemingly somewhat vocal about that, about being in the game with a the flow of the offense.

And then you get out there. How do you guys handle that, Blake? Yeah, I think we want what's best for each other and what's best for the team. Obviously, as a competitor, you know you want the ball in your hands, any chance that you can get. But also just knowing that.

You know, it's always. You know the team before myself. You know it's it's we before me, as you know, coach always says. And so, you know, we want what's best for each other and what's going to you know help elevate this team. And so, you know, when he's out there, you know, I'm cheering him on.

You know, I'm wishing nothing but the best. I hope he you know breaks a lot of tackles, breaks that long one, so now I can go in and try to try to better that. And then if I better that, I know he's going to come in try to better that. And you know, it's like a healthy competitive nature that we. Have just in our running back room in general, you know, starting with you know what you know, Coach Ron G always you know coaches us and teaches us.

But you know, it's it's definitely a healthy, competitive relationship that we have, and we we feed off each other, which you know helps the team.

Well, it works. Do you know the only other duo in the history of the Rams to have seventy five rush yards and a rushing touchdown in multiple games? Do you know Do you know who that would be? The only other duo. Blake, I saw something, or someone might have said something to me the other day.

Was it like Marshall Faulk? No, actually, it's an it's an answer you're you'd be familiar with. Nobody, nobody's ever done it. Nobody, you and Kyron, you and Kyron are are setting a standard. Right now, that's that's impressive, man.

But it also appears that that it's a necessary thing for you to do here for this offense. Obviously, Devonte Adams not there now. Puka was a little bit nicked up, and what what is it like in in the offensive meeting rooms right now? With this team at three and four, and trying together rhythm, despite the the injuries and the nicks like that we see right now on your side of the ball. You know, having having guys go down like that, especially you know guys that have such a big impact on the game.

When you talk about Devonte, when you talk about you know Miles Garrett, Kobe Turner, and just some of the guys that are out right now, it's definitely tough. You know, you want them on the field any chance that you can get, but you also know that it's like next man up mentality for the guys that have to step up in their positions, but also guys that are playing like, how can I elevate myself for this team and You know, it's always going to start. You know, with you know our quarterback Matthew Stafford. You know, he's such a great leader. You know, just a great man in general.

You know, I thoroughly enjoy you know coming to work and being around him, being in the backfield with him.

So it's always going to start with him. But we know we just have to step up. And so if if that's you know trying to establish run more, so we can you know. Pass the pass the ball more efficiently, and you know whenever offense can have a great balance of the two, you know you're going to be a pretty successful offense. And so I think you know Sunday was a was a great start to that.

But to answer your question, like in meetings, like for us, you know, sitting at you know three and four, it's more so just like let's put our head down and work. Like yeah, the win was awesome, the win was cool, but there's still things that. You know we can learn from you know get better at and so how how do we do that you know how can we you know look ourselves in the mirror and see where I can get better at so you know I can help the team win and so you know it's it's really just work you know not looking you know too far ahead not worrying about you know are we going to win Sunday are we going to lose Sunday it's like how can I get better today and I know you know if I put in the work all week that. I can go out there, you know, cut it loose, and when you cut it loose and you can play free, you know, good things happen.

So I think that's kind of like our mindset right now. What's Sean McVay's message been to the team as the three and four record is unfolded in a manner that is shocking to everybody outside the building? Blake, yeah, the big, the biggest thing that I've taken away from the last, you know, couple weeks that you know, coach has said is work works. And six seconds at a time, right? And when when you are talking about, you know, six seconds at a time, like each play is like six seconds, and so if you can do your very best, you know, six seconds, and then move on, whether it was good or bad, if you can move on and give your very best, you know, the next six seconds when when the game's over.

You know, you can look back at yourself and be like, "I left it all on that field." And usually, when you leave it all on that field, you know, you can look at the scoreboard and you're going to be victorious. And so, you know, it's no one's worried about our record. No one's worried about, you know, are we going to make the playoffs? You know, like no one's worried about any of that. It's it's more so like we know what we have to do.

Let's work, and let's go do it, and let's do it to our best ability, and let the you know. Let's just figure it out. You know what I'm saying? Like, like we'll we'll see where we are at the end of the season, but there's still a lot of time left. And so, like, how much better can we get each and every day?

So, coach has boiled it down to snap at a time, not like game at a time, quarter at a time, six seconds at a time. That's what he's boiling it down. Yeah, that's that's that's one of the biggest things I've I've taken away from what he has said over the last you know couple weeks. Like when we go to practice, it's like, all right, each play. Six seconds.

I'm gonna give my very best. Six seconds, and after that, whether it's good or bad, like I said, like that next very play, you have to move forward. Another six seconds is going to happen. And so, like if you can take a sixty-minute game, which you know turns out to be like three hours, right? If you can break it down into you know each individual play, six seconds, and I give him my very best, and I give him my all for my team in that six seconds, that play.

All right, let's move forward. Another six seconds. Or how hard did I fight that six seconds, right? And so, like you know, when you can when you can do that, you know, when you can do it at practice, you know, practice translates to games. And so, when you can just have that mindset of not worrying about you know wins and losses, and more so like, what am I doing for my team?

Am I giving my all each and every play? Because it's only six seconds. You know, you are gonna like where you at, and I felt like you know that message. Like he's also had other messages, but like that's one that stuck out to me. And you know, I felt like you could you could really feel that you know Sunday.

I mean, just the energy that we brought—you know, each and every play. You know, was great, and it's definitely something to build on. And you know, I am excited to move forward. You know, I think this team is excited for this week and and the journey that we're on. Because, like, you know, the pen's still in our hand.

Like, our story isn't over. People might think it may be, like, but we're not. We're not worried about what people say. You know, we're focused on you know what goes on in this facility and what we're capable of doing. And so, you know, that's what we're doing.

Blake Corum here on the Rich Eisen show. Few minutes left with the Rams running back. You're going to see a familiar face this weekend, aren't you? I am stadium, huh? I am right across the field, and he is in real need of a W.

That is for sure. Did Jim personally recruit you? Shopped your house? Yeah. What?

What's your hardball story on that front? Yeah, he he sure did, man. It was a awesome experience for myself, for my family, but also I think just for like my small town. I remember Coach Harbaugh, Jay Harbaugh, and at the time Coach Gaddis. They all came and gave me a home visit.

I was already committed there, but they came and gave me a home visit, and we went out to dinner. And then I was like, "They're like, what are you going? What are you doing after dinner?" I was like, "My sister has a basketball game. She was in high school at the time, and so they showed up to the basketball game and." No way! Everyone was, you know, excited to see Coach Harbaugh.

Like, oh, the legends here! And he actually, there's a bakery up in town called Red Chuck Bakery. We stopped there before we went to the game, and the people were just in all that, you know, Jim Harbaugh's and Old Town, Warrenton, right? And so he actually has a picture. In in the Red Chef Bakery now, he probably doesn't even know that.

Ah! And then of course it all winds up, you know, with with the big moment holding the trophy and and all of this. And you know, obviously, there you are on the left with your number two. And God, the warms and the fuzzies I'm getting right now. And how about the fact that Jim's brother John.

Is now the head coach of the Giants with JJ McCarthy quarterback in there, Blake? I don't know. Have you connected with him at all throughout this entire process? Or you're obviously in your own tunnel vision? Yeah, you know, I've had the chance to talk to JJ.

We were at an event together, a Michigan event together this off season. Yeah. And I was just asking him, you know, how's how's the situation over there for him? And you know, he was he was positive about it, but you know, I am so proud that you know someone else was able to give him an opportunity. And you know, he's battled many storms before.

You know, he's going to probably you know battle more in the future. That's just life. But the way he he goes about it, the way he handles his business. You know, I think that's why you know in the fourth quarter was at two weeks ago.

Now he was able to go, you know, throw for over two hundred yards, and then you look at him last week against a great, you know, Houston Texans defense. You know, I think he looked phenomenal in my opinion, and so yeah, I'm just I'm proud of him, man. Because you know it's it's it's not easy at all playing in the NFL, and then especially when you know. You you feel like you know I might have got you know they didn't didn't get treated fairly probably possibly I don't know exactly what was the problem over there in Minnesota but you know look he got a new opportunity he you know he took full advantage of it and so you know he just has to keep doing that but I'm happy for him I'm proud of him that he was able to you know weather those tough storms that he was going through and you know looking him now he's He's balled out the last five quarters. Yeah, or was it six?

They went overtime, I think. Six. That's right. But in in and it's interesting because that's all he hears about. Oh, you didn't throw a touchdown; just relied on your run game.

It's your fault. It's your fault. That started with you and him. Although you know, yeah, no, it's your fault, Blake, because he kept on handing it to you as if he did nothing else except you know throw it to Colston Loveland, throw it to Roman Wilson, Roman Wilson, exactly. You know, and and but he's used to hearing that, yeah, because of you essentially.

But it's interesting too. Listen, the Texans' defense is very stout, but. Listen, Blake. He's going against C.J. Stroud, and he wins those games, right?

That's what Michigan men do, right? My guys are shaking their head and they're ignoring me in the studio. I'm just letting you enjoy this conversation.

Okay, not so. Yeah, I'm doing something else. Yeah, totally fine. We don't want to interrupt this load. This is great.

Hey, I don't want to get piped down. I'm talking to Blake. That's what I mean. I'm staying out of it. How's Michigan this year?

That's Balaka. Whoa, not great. No, it's not great, Blake. I'm an Notre Dame fan. It's not great, but um.

You know, they're weathering the storm right now. You know, storms don't last forever. We'll get back on track. That was a Notre Dame fan. This, by the way, storms don't last forever.

Is a great. I'm getting a lot, man. Storms don't last forever. Six seconds at a time. You know, to tell you, take it six seconds at a time.

All right, go blue, Blake, and congrats on everything going on with you. I know that three and four is not what you're looking for. The same thing, the whole organization. But I look forward to seeing where you go from here. Yes, sir.

Appreciate it.

Okay, that's Blake Corm. Everybody else, pipe down. Hi, Blake. Good on you. Stay healthy, brother.

Go. Love it. Be well, bud. There he goes.

Okay.

How's Michigan doing this year? He is okay. I like Blake. He's my team. Mike.

Okay.

Yeah. Right. What's the matter with you? I love that guy. Yeah.

Until until he wants you to show up and not sell his tick sell the tickets to somebody else. I've gone twice already. No, you haven't. All right. Yes, I have.

Let's sneak in a call on the WeatherTech fan line, and it's a no-brainer. You know who's you know who we got to talk to today, TJ Keny in DC. I mean, is here to get some. Get what? He's from you.

What's he getting? He's I don't know. You give it to him. At least he's ready for the smoke. I imagine.

What's up, Keny? Go bird, man! What's up, gang? How y'all doing? What's up, Rick?

What's up, Kenny? Kenny, what up, man? That mud, man. That L is what's up, man. The defense was missing in action last night.

The front and the secondary, the offense wasn't. The offense was scoring, but the play calling was remedial, and Tanner missed a few passes that were very important. Like I told you Friday, we should have put Milne in, but no. Shady said, "Give him, give Tanner another week, and then we'll try." No, we should have played Notre last night. Let me ask you a question: It was definitely riddled with injuries.

What it is, what it is, and whack Prescott even said it in the press conference: being up on third or fourth string isn't a flex. Good game, TJ. Congratulations! But I mean, come on, man. We didn't have nobody for y'all to beat.

Oh, let's talk about Rich. You know the times when Dak, you know, when the ankle bone popped through the skin and he missed the season, and then broke the finger and all his injuries, and they beat us. It was all fine. It was all good then. But now they're they're paying throughout.

Now, congratulations, man. Y'all are on your way to the Super Bowl, man. See, you know what that is? That's a salty yardbird for you, right there. You know.

Kenya, mad, mad for DC, everybody for American-made floor liners and a cargo liner that laugh in the face of fall weather. Visit WeatherTech. dot com today. I laugh in the face of the. You know we need we need Keny in DC with Jay Z.

Shabai, he's got to be one of those you know thousands of people out there at a Super Bowl halftime show out there jumping around. Why his teammate? I don't know. Just get him out there. He's such a fan.

I mean, Jay Z, by the way, that was announced at halftime last night. I just saw Jay Z on Saturday at SoFi. Yeah, he was just here. Oh yeah, and and Snoop and Dr. Dre came out and too short.

And I had my whistle. Get ready. That's gonna happen. I blew it. That's gonna happen at the Super Bowl.

At my whistle. I would be surprised if it's not Jay Z and a whole host of oh yeah, you think Rihanna recording artists, you know, his wife because she's really good. Yeah, and they're probably. Probably getting that alternate halftime show ready with the headline act of Ennis Cantor doing Kid Rock's greatest hits on the kazoo. That'll be great.

It'll definitely take a crowd away. No, imagine like that. That's a mad lib. I don't know where that one came from. By the way, Rich, hey Ennis, play play play us out with some Kid Rock's greatest hits.

Here's a kazoo. That'll be great. All right, wish overreaction Monday on a Tuesday. Hit it. That was terrible.

That was crap. That was garbage. This place sucks. Overreaction Mondays. Monday on a Tuesday.

It's Overreaction Monday on a Tuesday, presented by Marriott Bonvoy. I don't have a kazoo over here.

Okay, Chris. Whenever you need me to blow the whistle, let me know. I got the. That's the only. That's the only instrument that could should be used.

All right. Happy Tuesday, everybody. Good. I told someone in the YouTube comments yesterday I would do this, so here we go. When Gotti is clicking.

The Cowboys are the team to beat in the NFC East. I don't know. I would I would say that if the Jameis Winston experience was still going down, but the man who's not throwing fastballs, the man who's the man who's layering throws. Goodness sakes! You're a lead pipe welding professional.

Four, two, and one, pal. You're not being professional. Four, two, and one, and and you know they also have a the, I guess the tie that they have will be a tiebreaker, but they also got in the back pocket that week one win thanks to JJ's one of his predecessors.

So that's an overreaction. I don't know, man. JJ McCarthy could throw it all over the place on Houston. He's used to winning in Texas. What can I tell you?

See, he's ready to go. Oh boy, he's ready to go when they come down there in Dallas. When is that game? I would say this. Oh, baby, an overreaction.

Oh, you are barking up the wrong tree here. Overreaction. This is properly reacted, Brockman. When the I don't know, man. The Giants' defense is balling out better than yours.

That's for sure. If JJ went to Wisconsin, would we be having the same conversation? No, Wisconsin. What is he playing for? Green Bay.

Now they already got a quarterback. Wow. Just say it. What are you talking about? There's only one place he was going to go, and Was Michigan, even though Ohio State was told him, "No thanks, too bad." What else you got over there, Chris?

It's already started in Indianapolis, folks, and it's over in another place as well. The Eagle season is toast. It's over. Let the fire sale begin. I don't think that's an overreaction.

I just don't know if that's going to be, with all due respect to Indianapolis, that's going to be well received. I'm not sure it's well received in Indianapolis, but Philadelphia's got a bit more of a megaphone going down in that town. I don't know if that's the way they they see this going. Um, I'd love to hear from Eagles fans if you if you'd have a problem with this, you think that's the right move. We already heard from one.

We all need to. I don't know who who would you who would you flip off though. Or who would you trade? Football probably every right. Wait, I'm flipping up.

Definitely right. Santa Claus. No, no, seriously. Who are you trading away if you're Philadelphia? Anyone depends what the offer is.

I don't know. Depends what the offer is, but I don't think this is an overreaction. What else you got, Chris? Yeah, like I said, it's already started in Indy with Quinton Nelson going to Seattle, and I think this guy should be next. And I think the Bengals should go get Jonathan Taylor for Saquon Barkley.

Oh, that's a great idea. I just don't know if Saquon's going to be the one that gets traded away there in Philadelphia. Plus, he's also hurt. I mean, we're two weeks away from the trade deadline, and last night. On that opening drive that he scored on, running for 19 miles an hour, he said after the game he hurt, he tweaked his hamstring injury on the first carry of the night.

Wow the the the The cameras picked up on that. Monday Night Football's cameras picked up on that. Wrap around his knee, right, and then it was, and then he said he he started his back started hurting. He immediately, if you saw, he went to the sideline, hopped on a bike, yep, and tried to work it out exactly.

So I don't know if he's tradable. Jonathan Taylor is a different story. The Bengals, I don't know, man. It's not like they have problems scoring points. It would be nice to have a, you know, they upgraded running back with Jonathan Taylor.

Listen, and Jonathan Taylor upgraded. Most running back rooms. Chase Brown's no slouch, but say you you you really love Chase Brown. I you know I he he had me at hello a couple years ago, a couple years ago.

So I'll I'll say no to this, and there you know I'll say no to that one. I think they're fine offensively. Maybe they could upgrade a couple of spots defensively and start doubling down on what's clearly an improved side of the football. Jonathan Taylor, I don't. You trade him.

Your fan base is really the. I don't know. Adam Schefter did tell Pat that the Colts ownership does not want to trade. Of course not, because that's truly. I mean, that's a cornerstone.

I mean, someone offers you at number one, you say yes. What else you got over there, Chris? I want to give this guy his flowers, so to speak, because he's really balling out.

Okay, and I think Zay Flowers is a top five wide receiver in the NFL. He's definitely playing like it. Is he not? He is playing like some guys out of the top five. Who are you going to bump out?

I think Jonathan. You're not bumping out JSN. I know you're not bumping out. Are you bumping out Puka? Because he's no.

I'm not bumping out. I'm bumping out Justin Jefferson, and I think Amon Ross St. Brown. I think they're out right now. I think Zay Flowers has jumped five out of curiosity.

Has jumped those guys. Who are who are your top five? Let's see. I think JSN, Jamar Chase. I think Jamar Chase.

I gotta go. I gotta go. Zay Flowers. I gotta go. CD Lamb, and I gotta go.

Puka Nakua. That's my five. And it's not a bad one to argue, but he's been balling out. What else you got over there? Definitely balling, bro.

Let's do this. I'm looking at the standings right now, and I'm looking at how these teams are playing. I test Josh Pay. I test. I test.

At least two. I said two teams currently in first place won't make the playoffs at all.

Well, the Bills aren't missing the playoffs. The you are saying the Browns are missing the playoffs. The Jaguars are missing the playoffs. Jaguars aren't missing the playoffs. Probably not.

Chiefs aren't missing the playoffs. Let's go to the National Football Conference playoff picture. If we have it, there it is. You're saying the Vikings go from six and no out of the playoffs. Niners go from six and one out of the playoffs.

No thanks. You no thanks.

So the Vikings. No, no, no thanks to. Of course they're making the playoffs. You cannot say. Of course the Vikings.

They're making the playoffs. They're not. They're not losing seven games from here on out. That. Defenses that it's too good for that.

They can't. You're saying the Giants and the Panthers fall out of the playoffs?

Well, obviously the pan. You're choosing the NFC South is one. Two might have been too low. I should have went three here.

Well, the Nets an overreaction. Sneak in one more, Chris. What else you got over there? Last one, guys. I don't know if you notice what's going on in Miami right now.

Not talking about the football team. We're already on Giannis trade watch. He's got that thousand yard stare, doesn't he? He is checked out. Where's his brother?

Well, his brother's playing overseas. His brother will be joining him soon. Giannis will be joining him overseas. This is not what Giannis signed up for. Although you did text the Rich Eisen show fantasy basketball group, who loses more games, Warriors or Heat?

I'll take the Heat right now. Thanks to my guy Yakso, your big win. I'm calling it right now. How's this for overreaction Monday? You respond it real quick.

He called Yakso rookie of the year. Ooh, rookie of the year. Rookie of the year, I like that. Thank you. Not an overreaction, really.

Kaillen Wilson is balling right now. If you are an NFL fan, you're probably in a long distance relationship with your team, and that hurts your heart.
