To another Wednesday episode of the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, I am the heel that you love to hate, O'Shea Jackson Jr. Hey, K. A. Petty Guerrero. Hey, yo!
It's me. It's me. It's the T W O. The J I G. T J.
T J. Jefferson, and it's Wednesday. You know what that means? Oh, happy, happy Wednesday! By the way, you got it free.
She free now. How about that? When the voice of the people, you know, just sometimes you got to make some noise. Absolutely, man. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.
And when and when we see something that we feel is not right, we have to speak on it. Oh, and TJ, I got a lot to say about things that ain't right. Oh man.
Well, you know what? I I can't stand when wrestling fans just act like they don't know why. Why? I mean, is this something we're leaning off with? Is something you want?
We lean off. Wow. Because playing right off the back. We ain't gonna.
Okay. It was MITB, money in the bank, and before we brag and boast, because if you if you watched the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, you knew how that men's was gonna go. But man, but man, and we love Tiffy. Love Tiffy two time, two time. We did we coin that fur when we were in the that junket that one time?
We may have Tiffy two time. Either way, either way. That's our dog. She been on here a few times. I just if Liv gon' get it, why?
Like Rock, that's the juicy story. I mean, that's for everybody. That's the juicy story, man. Roxanne with that briefcase would have been a little. You know, but now you're doing the SmackDown version of that.
But like, they're not in a group. Like the Judgment Day has been threatening to break up more. I can't even think of a rap group to fill in, bro, because no one threatens to break up more than the Judgment Day. But are they threatening to break up, or is it the people that are threatening to break? Because It seems like everything is copesetic and kosher with the Judgment Day.
It's just all the outside forces want them to break up. Copesetic, copesetic. That's the word of the pod right now. That was good. I I minored in English.
Okay, you know, dang, I minored in uh some shit. Majored in German. Minored in English. No big deal. But yeah, I mean.
Where do you feel that things are going to go with Tiffy and Chelsea? I'm gonna be feel like it's too obvious. I'll be very honest with you, Tiffy.
Well, before I get to this point, we I guess we have to talk about the actual match. Yeah, is the women's Money in the Bank ladder match when Tiffany Stratton did win for the second time, two times, Tiffany Stratton, and um. A lot of people, I think, were shocked by this. A lot of people didn't think Tiffany was going to win it. You know, a lot of folks thought Roxanne was going to get it.
You know, there were people for a moment I thought Lash was going to get it. For a slight moment, maybe so, but it turns out to be Tiffy. And that's the thing about wrestling, man. Like, just when you like Roddy Piper once famously said. When just when you think you have the answers, I go ahead and change the questions.
We thought, oh yeah, this is a perfect position for Roxanne to be in and get it. Nope, that's not what you got. And and and and Tiffany, like you said. But here's what I was about to say. That bump that she took.
For like, it's like the third time we've seen. We talked to her about it the first time she was on when the same thing happened in NXT. I am going to pivot to a few weeks ago watching AEW when Stephen Stephen Borden was getting on the top rope to do a move with Kevin Knight, and as they both climb opposite ends, are both at the corner, and I am sitting there watching this, going, "Dog, don't do this!" Like in my mind, I am like. This is like your third match that we've seen. Which I am sure he's had way more practice than that, but this is just what we're seeing.
You are about to do a coast to coast. I am like, I don't know. And the whole time they're getting set, I am like, don't do this. Yeah, it's not just a coast to coast. A clashing, yeah.
So it happened, and then what happens? He hit his head, and they had to stop the match, right? Like they had to. Did they stop? But he had to get out.
Yeah, they stopped the match, bro.
So, man, yeah, that's right.
So it's like I'm sitting there the whole time. I'm watching this going, don't, don't. Yeah, and he did it, and the worst possible. I guess it could have been worse. One of the worst possible snares happened.
Same thing with Tiffany getting on that ladder. Yeah, I'm like everyone felt it. Don't, don't do this. They never catch you. Never.
And then when she jumped. Right, it kind of looked like the ladder shifted a little. Fall, so she didn't quite get the elevation.
So the rotation is off. The rotation was off, and so I've seen people blaming Lash Legend for not catching her. Like that was nobody's. First of all, they will blame Lash Legend for anything, right? Yeah, Lash.
Yeah, we'll get into that. But yeah, her hitting like that splat was audible, man, and it was just like oof. Mm-hmm. I'm she. She couldn't even do the the like.
The spot with Chelsea with live on Monday. Like she wasn't even there.
Okay, so there now I'm getting into my point. Like they had to probably hold her back for concussion protocol or something because this it's right there. Chelsea Green comes out to to Monday Night Raw. She's not on Raw. Why is she doing this?
The last time I can remember this happened, and I think was. I think Edge had the title and Punk cashed in on him. Batista busted up Edge. Edge wasn't even supposed to supposed to go to the other show, loses his title.
So I'm like, is that what we're gonna get? Here comes Chelsea Dolo to confront all of the Judgment Day. Look, that's a perfect opportunity. If Liz, if Liv, well, not Liv, if Tiffany was able. To perform, and I got a feeling that medically she's not cleared.
That's the perfect time for her to run down there and just double cross Chelsea, bang her out with the briefcase, and cash in on her. Right? Like, why wouldn't that have happened? I think maybe she's not medically cleared to wrestle because. Right now, it looks like this is what we're gonna do.
Right, she's gonna turn on Chelsea. That's what we all thinks gonna happen. Boy, I be tripping that's Triple H in a lot of these pictures.
Well, he made that turkey flight. Listen, bro, my man is back. But yeah, what I mean, like, so that makes a lot of sense. Makes sense, right? But no, there's no, no Tiffy.
It's just Chelsea, and that brings me to another point that infuriates me. We are the biggest Roxanne Perez stands. I think on any podcast, our love for Roxanne is well documented. Knows no bounds. But to have your WWE Women's Champion.
Come to a show and lose to a person who hasn't won a singles match since I think October of two thousand twenty-five. Even though she's one of my favorites, makes literally no sense to me. No sense at all. And I mean, the thing is, it's always going to be the numbers game, and like that's something that they can fall back on. But like, it just felt, it just feels off, and then.
Feels off. It reminded Chelsea. Yeah, and then there was a reminder. Oh yeah, we're we're going to Crown Jewel, and this is my conspiracy brother whole thing about to happen. Crown Jewel loves them some blondes, bro.
All right, it was like a. It's just good. It's just just just. Live winning the way that she did felt off. It just felt like why did you take it off her in the first place?
It felt like we know why they did it because it was the perfect story opportunity for Stephanie to get it. Yeah, and so but like then, I thought we were setting it up. For all right, well, if Liv got it, then Roxanne. Like, there were so many things that I felt like, if this happens, then this should happen, and neither of them went down. Yeah, so now.
With those, with the thing you just said about the raw situation, it would have been perfect because then you set up Crown Jewel to be Tiffy versus Liv, which would have been crazy. Would have went crazy. Ria would have loved it, even though there's talks right now that WWE. I don't think they're. I mean, based upon what happened over there, yeah.
Also, also was in this side. Yeah, Max Caster. Hold on! That's listen. That's what I was real.
Let's let's put a button. Put a pin in that. Put a pin in that. Because we have a lot. That's why.
Wow! I mean, come before we started. I told you we gonna get riled up. We getting riled up today. But just like any other fan, we're just gonna watch.
So I mean, I can't map out the direction of this right now. It's so obvious that like. This is the same story you just used for Tiffy, right? We just did this, yeah. Like we just did it.
It's a little reverse because, like, she's not doing the whole fearful thing of Chelsea, but like. I just felt like it would have been a lot, a little bit, a little bit juicier to have juicy rock, have Rock and looming over live with that money in the bank. Absolutely, that's what everyone thought. Yeah, dude. But I think also because of what you said about how she hasn't really won a singles match and.
However long, which is insane, by yeah, which also shouldn't happen. But maybe that went into the thinking as well. Like we really, because like the women's Money in the Bank is a hundred percent, hundred percent cash in, cash in, dude. And to have a to to sprout up a champion that if you haven't watched NXT, which we keep telling you to do. I mean, you don't know the prodigy.
You don't know the run that she went on. Yeah, it was an incredible run. Yeah, dude. And so they're like, "Are we going to put her in a position after we haven't had her win a lot on the main roster? Maybe that went into the thinking." But here we are.
I don't know. I'm I'm tired of guessing. Yeah, I'm tired of guessing, dude. It's just and sit back and enjoy. And somebody hit me up on X was like, "Oh, you complain the Rock saying doesn't win money in the bank, but now you complain that she beats Chelsea." Well, yeah, because it makes sense for her to be able to outlast somebody and climb a ladder and and and get get the briefcase, right?
Yeah. But if you haven't given her a win and a year, and then you bring your world champion. Yeah, like these titles. If you're a world champion, you should be held at a certain regard, right? You should have echelon.
And I don't know if it's like, all right, we're not showing the faith in Chelsea or what, but I and they do it quite often. I hate it. You're the world champion. You should not be losing non-title matches. That's just how I feel about it.
And I obviously I'm wrong because it happened. That don't mean I gotta like it, right? And it and and like I said. I'm arguing against one of my favorites that she should not have won a match. Yeah, because that does not look good for Chelsea.
It doesn't look good for that WWE Women's Championship. Just in in my opinion, it doesn't make sense. And Chelsea, both both WWE titles are in the same position where it's like. Chelsea and Sammy are looked at as champions. Who oh, you're not supposed to have this title.
Yeah, and it's kind of ridiculous, man. Yeah, it's like if you're going to have to, especially in in Sammy's situation, he's a heel. All right, people are supposed to boo him. Let him get that off. Chelsea, people love Chelsea, and after a while, they're going to get they're going to get mad at you treating what they like like crap.
Yeah. And so it's it's a weird spot. It's a weird spot. And those are the two faces of SmackDown. Yeah, same show.
Meanwhile, Raw just ran by a couple of jerks. Living Roman, right? Roman, Roman. I get it, Street Fighter, and all that. We need your help, man.
Nah, y'all got that. Listen. All right, so let's finish off the women. The women, yeah. But congrats to Tiffy.
Yes, fantastic. Fantastic. And congrats to Live. Congrats to Live winning the belt back. I got to be honest, I definitely did not see Live winning.
No, because I'll be honest with you. Right now, I mean, we always say Io might be the best women's wrestler, you know, pound for pound. Stephanie was making has been making a claim that she might be the best overall female wrestler in the company. Right, so she gets that huge moment in Chile. Winning the title, which we kind of saw coming, because if not then, then when was it going to happen?
To have her be a transition, Stephanie, Stephanie, would care is not a transitional champion. She is someone that you put the belt on and then send out for a year or so and let her do her thing because she's going to produce in that ring all the time. Yeah. So to see her lose, and then now, I mean, we saw how Stephanie won.
So now it's like, yeah. Because technically, she probably should have lost that match. Yeah, Becky didn't hit the three.
Now we're going to get a Becky and Stephanie feud. Which, if if they really thought about it, why are they fighting each other? Same, same, same, same, same, same. The enemy of my enemy, but now we're so now. Stephanie's got a little injury, I guess, and I don't know if maybe the call was made mid match.
I am hearing a bunch of rumors that, right? Are you into ground people? I am hearing Roxanne was supposed to win. I am hearing Braun was supposed to win. I am hearing Stephanie was supposed to win.
That's just how wrestling is, man. Things can change at the drop of a hat, and we're witnessing this.
So. Yeah, lives going back, but we don't know if they're going. We don't know. We don't know. We don't know.
Shit. But we ain't happy with some stuff. Yeah, man.
So yeah, so new women's world champion, Money in the Bank. We have a repeat winner. You want to talk about Roman right now? Let me tell you something about this. Los Angeles night.
You know, in WrestleMania, I believe what was it, twelve, thirteen? When Stone Cold wrestled Bret Hart, Bret Hart won that match. But the thing you remember about that match is Stone Cold with the blood and doing everything, and he left out of that match as a bigger star, even though he didn't win. It's kind of what happened. La Knight, he comes out of this like if you ever had a question about La Knight, yeah.
I think he put that to bed because he looked as good as you can look losing the match that t here is been. Yeah, and you had that shit, and still, okay, your world heavyweight champion, my, your, our tribal chief. Rollin' rains. We knew this would happen. We knew this would happen, and because of how the storytelling involved, we actually put in our minds that I don't know, maybe I don't know.
Nine four six. They're tripping. I don't know. Shut all that up. What do you think?
Come on, dog. We see the play. We know what's happening. All right. We said we setting up Ober Roman.
We setting up Ober Roman. Yeah, Roman not losing before Ober Roman, and I don't know why. I don't know why. There's even a thought. Beyond this, beyond this, even Oba Oba came out and was like, "I'm tired of waiting." You keep jumping way ahead, yeah, bro.
Because like it's still it's it's all within the pocket. We could go back, we could go forward.
Well, that's our show, baby. But Roman Reigns and Oba is where we're setting up. This match was great. Loved it. Loved the outcome.
L.A. Night did not look soft at the end. No. And that's fantastic. What more could you ask for?
And that's how I felt about the four-year thing. When you got all these stars, all being cheated, they still look good after they took the loss. And that right there is hard to do. It's a credit to the performers. And right now, even on this run where Roman is winning clean everywhere.
L. A. Knight still look like the man. They're the L. A.
Knight fan base, bro. Y'all got to be the hardest working fan base in the world right now, all right?
Next to the Cleveland Browns, but like, it's it can still happen. Sami Zayn is a two time WWE champion. Don't give up hope. I am gonna tell you right now, while he' around, it's hopeless. It's hopeless for us all.
Look at man, you were gonna Akuma, baby. You were gonna be so hurt, Akuma, baby. To WrestleMania, man. No, Obas my guy. Is he though?
Obas my guy. This is your guy. This is the man.
Okay, Obas my guy. The writing's on the wall. But like, gotta take a stand. You gotta pick a side, and I think you're gonna be hurt. Listen, there go, hey, hey, to to those six people in the comments.
There go TJ again, Hayden. How am I? You know them six people that be like, he's not really a Here's the deal, though. If any one of us is a is a hater on here, it would definitely not be me. Oh my God!
You see how he talks about me. You see that guy? You say you're a hater. You listen, man. You part of your intro is the hill you love to hate.
The hill you love to hate. I don't hate you. I don't hate. I don't hate. They hate me, man.
They hate us because of they ain't us. It's part of your gimmick. I know somebody at home doing it with me. Put your ones in the sky, y'all. They try to treat us like we the twos, but TJ we the ones.
And Roman Reigns got him another one. If I if nine four six was smart, they would have got jumped in the ring. And like, what is going on? He's right there, Dolo. Right, he was by himself, by himself.
The the the Usos and Solo hadn't showed up. Yep. If you're really, if no one's really safe, what are you doing way up there in the stands?
Now, like we'll talk about not sessions. Listen, the dude you want is down there, and there ain't nobody around him. What was stopping you from going down there and trying some other stuff? You know what I mean? They didn't do it.
Again, another thing. I guess I just don't get. It's perfectly fine because they know. Don't touch the money right there. I mean, don't touch the money right there, bro.
We're not gonna look at this objectively. Then I don't, you know. I'm just saying, bro. I'm just saying. But I mean, nine four six.
All the things that has been happening, you would think that they would ruin it, but we got to go to the crown jewel, man. We got to go to Crown Jewel. Roman's gonna have this title. Crown Jewel is something that I, in my mapping out. Of things, how things are going to go, completely forgot about.
Because crown, what does crown jewel mean? It don't mean nothing. You get a belt that you can't bring home. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. It is just a.
It's a money grab. Yeah, it's a little bonus, little bonus, bonus. But again, you know, especially for the girls, they got to go out there and get all new gear, and and what does it really mean, like. I don't know what it really means. You get a you get a ring.
I got a ring. Yeah. Hey, look. Don't you feel good with it? I mean, it does look good on air.
I got a you know NCW. But the point being, it's like awesome because if right, if at Crown Jewel, the flip of what we think usually happen would ever happen, then cool. Like if we go to Crown Jewel, Sammy beats Roman. That's awesome.
Now Crown Jewel means something. But we never get those type of decisions that I can think of, and maybe I am wrong, and someone will correct me. I can't think of one time where t here is been a crown jewel meaning of two champions, and you like last year, yeah, like the ring. I just have to sing it, right, right, right. He, what happened?
He's on the run. He loses to Cody. That's true, and t here is nothing wrong with losing to Cody, but you kind of assumed. That Cody was going to win anyway, right? Yeah.
So if they did something, if they flip something, if they made... Bro, I told you, Saudi Arabia loves blondes, bro. Crown Jew loves blondes. I mean, you are right. Here we go again.
So yeah, so we're getting. And by the way, I think Sammy and Roman. That this would be fun. They have they have chemistry. Chemistry.
They've had what three? This will be their third. Remember, we all thought there was that moment in Montreal where Sammy was going to beat Roman. You know, people thought.
Well, you didn't because obviously we thought. The thing is, I love Roman Reigns so much, but you make me come off like I don't like him because I make you come off, yeah. Because I've got to balance out your, yeah, yeah. I got to balance you out. It is what it is, dog.
It is what it is. Anyway, people thought that Sammy had a chance, and now they get for thinking Roman and Roman and Sammy. I think we're gonna have a banger, yeah. It should be, you know, it's like. And I don't want to think this way because there's nothing that they've told us.
I mean, my man has been real red carpet lately, real red carpet lately, but it kind of feels a little. I don't even want to put it out there, but it feels a little farewell, Tori. It feels a little like, like how I felt when Cena went on the nice run at the end. Like it's, I don't know. It's like Roman is still.
Chief, he's not a heel, not a face. He's just chief, you know. And even when it comes to the major part of the storyline of the Bloodline, he's not even like connected to it. It just feels like he is going on. Let me get a clean run.
Let me get a clean run where I go out and put on these bangers and. Pass the torch. I don't. As a Roman fan in kayfabe, this is ridiculous for me to think of, but like, it just feels that way, and it feels really nice. I don't know how I feel.
I have to talk to my therapist first of all. I have to get. I am your therapist. You talk to me. Yeah, but like, you a hater, dog?
I I'm a hater. Stop it. I'm innocent.
Okay, you know what? Let's start a poll. I feel like you would win this poll. Nine hundred. Don't you ever pause?
Don't you ever tell me I win that poll? You won that poll. Don't you hater of the year right there? I'm not even a hater, man. I'm trying to make wrestling fun again.
You know, I'm the one having fun. You see what he does? You see what he does? Anyway, I digress. And still, and still, now yeah, there was great, great match.
I thoroughly invested in. They made you feel right, and that's what you want. There were moments when you really felt. I know you didn't, okay, but most of us felt like, oh, like Knight could win this, and and that's what's great about wrestling. Right, I used to say this all the time about Ric Flair.
Ric Flair would show up on a Sunday morning on WTBS in the studio. He'd wrestle a guy like Mike Jackson, who was a perpetual—I don't want to say jobber, no relation, no relation, not a jobber, but like he was an enhancement guy. Mike Jackson was always taking l's. By the way, he's seventy-seven, I think, and he still wrestles every now and then, which is amazing. But Ric Flair would show up at like eight nine o five on a Saturday morning and wrestle Mike Jackson.
Who hadn't won a match in two years, and he would make give you the feeling that Mike Jackson was about to pull off this upset because that's how good Flair was. He didn't go in there and just dominate and beat up the Jobber. He gave him a match in a match where you, as a fan, like. Wait a second! Real?
Can he do this? And that's kind of now. Of course, La Knight is no Mike Jackson. He's not a jobber. But at the same point, there were moments when you felt like, oh, like he, the fans—they're listening.
They're gonna get. Maybe it's for a day. Maybe it's for a week. Feels like he's getting this, and he didn't get it. But he had you, everyone, on the edge of their seats, man.
And that's that's kind of the beauty of wrestling, right? Yeah, and it takes a. It's a skill to do that. It's a skill to do that, and you know I don't know about this Michael Jackson. What you talking about?
Oh, just Michael because he never go by Michael Jackson. Why would he? You know, Ric Flair versus Michael Jackson sounds like I got to watch it. That was Mike Jackson used to wear. Yeah, look at me.
anybody call Michael Jackson Mike Jackson? Probably right, Mike Jackson. What's up, Mike? It just sounds off. It sounds.
It just like it just sounds. You know, people close to Mike probably yeah. Like what's up, Mike? Big Mike. Yeah.
Nobody calls Mike Tyson Michael Tyson. Right. Robin called him Michael. See how that went. Anyway, but yeah, man, Louisiana night.
Yeah, did his thing. Like I said, he made himself bigger in defeat. But where does he go now? That's the other thing. Where does he go?
Yeah, and that's another thing. What you mad at solo for?
Well, he's what you mad at solo for? Dog. Where were you when I got kidnapped? Five minutes too late. Didn't put up an Amber Alert.
Nothing for me.
Well, you're not expecting somebody to get kidnapped in the back of a wrestling show, so that you can't. You can't be the number one place I expect people to get kidnapped. This is an NXT man, but yeah, I don't think he's mad at Solo. He's now he's questioning. All right, now you're back with your brothers.
You said you weren't going back.
So yeah, I now I'm a little I'd be a little skeptical. Yeah, but you walk off. I was talking to you.
Now he said we're good. He said we're good. Oh, bloodline, huh? And then we're like, dude, yeah. Did you do?
Have you not watched the show? I'm in trouble. I'm in trouble. Yeah, we'll come. Pick up a pick up a shovel, baby.
All right, because I need you to dig when I'm laying down, and. They're jumping us all the time, all of the time.
Solo, by the way, the Matrix shirt, yeah, that was dope. That's hilarious. That was dope, and it's just so funny that like his merch is now a diss to his brothers. Like that, that, that is hilarious. Little brother mentality.
I love it from Solo. But yeah, man, where does L.A. Night go? Like legitimately, what do we do, man? Like.
Is he go after like what the U.S. title, the IC title? Is he try to make his way to SmackDown? Like, I don't know. Honestly, I think he should go to SmackDown.
I think he should go to SmackDown because you put on Twitter, just get off of the show that Roman's on. Because, dude, you he got it, he got it, and also great dude. Saved me in Vegas, but great guy. Like you want to see success, and I feel like Raw has all the coolest toys. All right, we we spoke about this.
Like when Netflix came, that whole SmackDowns the A show, all that talk went out the window, man, because they started gathering. Whatever they felt was hot and SmackDown's, the stars that they do have are carrying a lot, carrying a lot to keep that show up. La Knight might be something real spicy for that side, and he has a a great fan base that follow him to Fridays, and I think that dude can make. Hella noise, hella noise with that title, and I mean, as as you can tell, that thing is is it's the Wild West trying to get that title right now. It's it's it's rough.
You got KO Punk, you you throw LA Night into that mix with those guys still around. You got some hot dudes on the microphone. Yeah, for SmackDown. If you add LA Night to everything that's happening down there right now. Crazy, not to mention, you got Trick Willie.
The hottest bar spitters might be on SmackDown if you get LA Night, right? Like, dude.
So, I just think that'd be nice. But who cares what I think? I'm just a fan. Yeah, just another fan.
Well, people, people watching and listening care obviously. No contest. This is our home. But yeah, family. It's kind of going to be interesting to see where you know what happens and where where LA Night goes.
What else we got here? We got the men's money in the bank, and I'm gonna give you props. You know, you called this like three weeks ago. I don't even think he was technically in the match when you were like Penta would be dangerous with this dangerous case, and you know, so dangerous. Let's go.
Go. I was gonna say he's so dangerous that fire shoots out of it. Again, you you like to jump way ahead, man. Like way ahead, how far is that ahead? We haven't even got up nine four six.
We haven't got to him winning the thing yet. Listen, bro. Let's talk about what he did on Monday. Let's talk about man him winning this thing because I think we all thought Braun Breaker was going to win this. It just seemed like storyline rides.
He was MVP. It made sense, right, to have because we thought Braun was going to beat Punk, but back in you know a few months ago in January or whatever did. Happen so now we're always like okay well they're gonna give Bron this shot Penta yeah he's on literally on fire right fire and yeah I got to be honest when you kept saying Penta I was like I just don't think they're gonna give it to him and Quiet as kept man he went out there he like I said he's a star right now and so yeah he's just and he's he's That that Mexico tour dude, that his star is the brightest right now. It is just like there he is. Number one, he's he's badass.
All right, the man knows what he's doing in that ring. The match with Roman was like a oh he's a real deal star. Yeah, he I can hang. Like don't you know even if it's at a A Roman Reigns style pace, I can still get mine off. And by the way, anyone who's watched Penta throughout the years already knew this.
Yeah, right. This isn't like something like a revelation. Yeah, it's a revelation, maybe to the WWE audience. Yeah, that bubble that didn't quite know how bad of a man Penta is, but now, like you said, like now you know. If you didn't know, which you should have, you really know now.
Yeah, and if I'm a company, I'm like. Hold on, that international appeal. We got a champion that's like making waves that that can make waves in a in a couple of lands away from home too. That's some money, right there. But Shay, what do you do though?
What Penta?
Okay, so now we get it. Penta wins the money in the bank, and he's got the briefcase. And like you said, Monday he came out stunting like your daddy. Briefcase, fire coming out of it. It was so dope.
But what do we do? Like, because ultimately, well, before we get to that, let's talk about Bronson Reed. Bronson Reed beat Roman Reigns. I can't emphasize this enough. If you get a win over the Tribal Chief, after you took his shoes.
You jacked like I got these Royals on today. Imagine someone just come and just take my brand new black and blue blue Royals. I'd be upset. Warm around the neck, warm around the neck. You did this.
You didn't do this to just anybody. You did this to Roman Reigns' top guy. That should put you in rarefied air. That should mean no matter what, now you are at this level, right? We got to keep you at this level.
But now there's the Oberfemi problem because Oberfemi, oh NCW favorite, I can't believe I'm saying this. I'm only saying this because I know how wrestling fans work. After watching wrestling for four decades, they are now making Ober maybe too strong, and you know what that's gonna what that's gonna lead to is fans ultimately, because you know Daniel Bryan told you. These mugs is fickle, dog. Fickle, fickle.
And now you've got Oba, right? Who seemingly Superman now, right? Two punches with brass knuckles and a tsunami. He shakes them both off and wins the match. Yeah.
Now, big ups to Bronson Reed for losing that weight, right? He went from about three twenty down to two seventy five. I don't know if. Maybe losing that little light in the ass, yeah, man. A little light in the ass.
Them tsunamis is just regular waves. Don't hit the same at two seventy five as they did at three twenty three twenty five, right? But my point being, Paul Heyman, what did he tell him the week before? You got to hit him with tsunami. I have tsunami.
Think you might have said it like thirteen times at least.
So what does Bronson redo, Shea? One tsunami. One. One, you ain't pinning over Femi. Yeah, we're not listening.
Paul told you the way to do. Yeah, so how many F fives it took? Come on, baby, come on. You got to.
So, and obviously, like I said, I got to reiterate: big over Femi fans. Everyone knows that. Like, I'm the one who said he should beat Cena. I'm like, he's gonna be the main eventer. But when you build up a guy too strong, man, the pushback starts, and that is what I don't want to have happen to Oba.
Should he have lost to Bronson Reed? I I don't know, right? I'm not prop. I don't know. But at the same point, we got to make sure Bronson stays a little strong, just because of the Roman thing, right?
Or do we not care about that anymore? I mean. Because you got you biggest Roman Reigns fan there is. He beat Roman Reigns, so that means something. Yeah, right.
I mean, a lot went into it, but you're absolutely right, dude. You're absolutely. Roman's going to take an L. It has to mean something. Has to mean something.
And where I thought this was going to go, because. You know, Obama. When when he spoke about it afterwards, he was like, you know, now that the Judgment Day is, yeah, no, no, no, no. The Vision, bro, trips me out. The Vision, they both run raw.
Yeah, right. And nine four six.
So, but they haven't taken claim to running it yet. They just said nobody's safe. Right? Ain't nobody safe.
Now that the Heimans Parker.
Now that the Vision is behind me, and I'm like, you didn't beat. Bron Breaker, you ain't be Bron Breaker, and I don't know if that might have been what should have happened at Money in the Bank. Like they got the numbers, maybe it should have been Oba having to overcome the Vision a little stretched out. Got to take him out one by one. Yeah, I mean they all popped out, but but like he should.
Maybe we should be in a world where he should always be losing to the numbers game because he's by himself, and it's like Judgment Day has Dom and and JD. You could kind of get you could kind of get past them if you're a superstar just because of how they've been written. Vision got some big dudes, yeah, big dudes to have to deal with, you know. And they all in here, you know. Logan still got his his injury, but like that's a lot to have to constantly worry about.
Yeah, those are some wolves, and maybe we stretch this thing out and. Oba's like I need to take them out one by one, and then get Austin some time off. Oh, now Logan got some time off until he can finally get through the vision. But you just got him just winning. And then not beating Breaker, and then just being like, "Oh, I'm done with them." It makes no sense.
Also, I don't think we can stretch Roman and Oba out to WrestleMania, bro. What? That's five months from now. What? We September?
Like we're October, so November, December, January, February, March. Six months. I don't think. That's why you should have got through all the vision. I'm saying those two got to get it on before Mania.
Like, I don't. I don't. Think you can draw this out? There's too many, too many variables, injuries, like Survivor Series, something. We can't wait.
I don't think Roman and Oba can wait till WrestleMania. I think it's got to. Can I? Can I have a creative liberty? Oh, you know, it's about to be some bullcrap.
But let's say we have. Roman going on this run where he's got all these clean wins. It's been real nice, real nice. Tribal Chief, bright smile, red carpets, and then you're right. Maybe stretching out to, I like that stretching out to WrestleMania is too long.
So we get Oba versus Roman a little early, a little earlier than expected, but. You see, Chief, kind of, kind of sweating a little bit about this young dude. Like, hold on, man. Like, I know I've been on this clean run, but this is a big dude. It's a big dude.
So maybe the first one is the first time we see Roman use the bloodline to help out, and he gets a win over Ober. Everybody's like, hold on. You just been doing the entire year clean.
Now you doing this, and so then you start to build up the. Oh, chief got doubts. Chief got doubts, and then we get the rematch at a mania after you know Oba could win Royal Rumble easily.
So you got you got the rematch. You do whatever you want.
Well, then you get the rematch at Mania for the big one. And mate, then you kind of set it up where either you can go chief one, all right. Let me do this. Let me do this one on one, and then you could do it that way. Or is there a world where he wants the bloodline to get involved again, and somebody cash in?
We don't know. We don't know. But that's the beauty of that briefcase. I'm thinking, and that has been a no shade, creative liberty, cutie pie. Yeah, man.
We just there's so many ways they can go. Yeah, I think ultimately my biggest thing is I don't want the fans that start that BS and start turning on Oba. Oh, it's because I'm seeing little bit on. You heard that story about how some people don't want to work with him. Yeah, where did that come?
Yeah, bro. Oh, cause why? You're gonna get beat up. It's wrestling. We all get beat up.
Look at him. Yeah, you're gonna lose. Gonna get beat up. All right. He the only man that I know that Nick Saban asked him to play football, and he was like, nah.
He. But the thing, Nick Saban didn't ask him to play football. Remember, I asked them. I said, "Did Oklahoma, did Alabama's football coaches come to find you in your dorms?" And he said, "No, they never did." Oh, damn! I thought he told them no because he wouldn't have enough time to learn the game.
I'm. I he did say that that was a reason he wouldn't have done it. Yeah, I am ninety percent sure I'd have to go back and watch our first because you know he's been on like you know I mean my god hard to keep everything. Yeah, but I'm pretty sure when I said I can't believe Nick Saban didn't send somebody in your dorm and he was like no, they never asked.
So anyway, that's not shot put champion. Not shot put champion. Not what whatever they that just on them. But um, yeah, I just don't want, like I said, I don't want that that BS that the fans do to start like the over pushback and because if you remember, that's kind of what hindered Roman early on when when Punk left, right when Punk left and he did the the Cold Cabana podcast and remember he's told the story and he was like, well, yeah, you you know, you got to make them look strong and you remember that followed even though he didn't say wrote, he said make them look strong, mean the Shield. That BS followed Roman for years, dude, on social media.
Oh, boy! You got to make Roman look strong. Yeah, and I just I don't want that. For it's honestly followed a few superstars now. Just that phrasing, you know.
Rhea Ripley gets that a lot. By the way, Rhea, Bianca, Naomi. Can y'all send us a text? Like, can we get like? Bianca is always on social media, so at least we know what she's up to.
I saw somebody posted a picture of Ria in like a gym parking lot. You know, Naomi's chilling, man. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know if she's been watching the show, but we need some help.
Well, she's raising a baby right now. I can't fault her for that.
Now, money in the bank. The men's match, something I want to touch on. Yeah. Pause. Javon Evans going through the roof.
I didn't have a problem with it. The internet is like, bro, why did he go through the roof of an ambulance? My mind. Because wrestling, yeah. Why did Kurt Angle come down with a milk truck?
Because why did Shawn Michaels come down on the zipline? It seems very unconventional. It was wrestling. It's wrestling, bro. I watched Ray Mysterio get thrown off a roof.
Right. Seth Rollins took Ray Mysterio's eye. Yeah. Why did he do that? Wrestling.
The Undertaker is a zombie. Yes. I think we have the same problem with this, though. What? Why is there wood on the roof?
Now let me let me be a little devil's advocate. I've never touched the roof of an ambulance. Have you ever touched the roof of an ambulance? Granted, no, but I do. I thought you.
I listen with you the way you tell stories. I thought you'd be like, actually, there was a time. No, I haven't, but I do know a lot about, you know, set direction and set dressing. Yeah. I'm sure it was all padded inside that hundred percent.
And by the way, when Javon drove back in, that was a great moment. Like he, you know, they carted him out, drive him back in, and then you know he took a little bit longer to pull up that big ladder. That room was like kind of like whatever. Yeah. But as soon as I saw the size of that, yeah.
As soon as I saw the size of that ladder, I immediately went on Twitter. Was like, oh, someone's going through the roof of the ladder or the ambulance. Yeah. In my mind, already saw it happen. I no realize who was going to be, but I'm like somebody's going through.
Yeah, and it's just like he goes through it, great spot. But then you see like a wood plank, and I don't know. That just kind of took me out. Spray paint is silver in there, man.
Something, man. Spray paint is silver. You had all day. You, I'm sure that you know. I saw a picture of them rehearsing.
He was on the ladder, like. the art The art department. Yeah, you got a great art department. I'm sure you got to know that it's because your ladders. The ladders are wood, and so like you know, like I know you sprayed them down.
Spray that down a little bit, baby. A little bit, a little bit. Keep me in it, but people want to get on. It's a terrible spot. It shouldn't happen.
We could tell that it would. Yeah, you want it metal, right? You want him to just smack the top of a roof of an ambulance from that high? These these are performers now. We want them to be okay, right?
Right? Okay. We know what we're watching, man. And also, think about how you used to be. You know how much that was the talk of the schoolyard the next day.
And if you've been paying attention to Raw, WWE's hella been selling a breakable ambulance like toy during those commercials. Yeah, I've been paying attention. Yeah, bro. Like, first of all, Cody and Roman, the guys, play with. Oh, yes, they're beating up Drew McIntyre for some reason.
But yeah, it's a it's a breakable ambulance. By the way, can I just give you a quick aside? Yeah. This is like a little fronting a little bit. I'm fronting, but Rich Eisen show we had the great actor James McAvoy, Professor X.
You know all the stuff that McAvoy does. He he was on the Rich Eisen show yesterday, and I'm just tripping out because Professor X more than anything else. Even though he's a great actor in many great movies, but the whole time I'm listening to him, and you guys can go look it up on the YouTube page. I'm like, he sounds just like Drew McIntyre. Like I literally closed my eyes and listened to him.
I'm like, you can't tell me Drew McIntyre's on here.
So I, you know, yeah, I sent Drew McIntyre a text, you know, and then I got a voice note back from Drew McIntyre. It was just like, yeah, you guys sound so. That's just me stumped. Scottish, yeah. Drew McIntyre sent me a voice note yesterday.
Yeah, yeah. I mean, I know this Scottish accent has followed me for months. Oh yeah, Gerard Butler, man. Gerard Butler films. That it comes out all the time, all the time, man.
Shout out to Jerry. Shout out to Drew because we miss you, dog. Yeah, man.
The underappreciated, yeah, Drew McIntyre. But yeah, WWE's been selling one. WWE's been selling a breakable ambulance. I didn't even think about that. Yeah, bro, during Raw.
Are during the commercials that we complain about all the time, like it's right there, it's right there. I'm not mad at him. All right, I just didn't like the wood, man. You could spray paint the wood, yeah.
Something, and also the people are like, "Well, he jumped into it." Yeah, the alternative would be to hit the corner, even like even in kayfabe. To protect myself, I gotta jump. I mean, look, I gotta hit the flat surface, or else that would happen. Or else, yeah, or I'ma die. Yeah, we can't have that.
Not from the young OG. That is the worst injury there is. I got to be honest with you, though, when he pulled back up in that ambulance and he started wailing on beaten bronze. Yeah, there was a moment I was like, "Jabonds winning this thing." Yeah, I really did think at that moment there go that black hope. Because it's like we said the other week.
If they really want to shake up the wrestling world, give Javon a couple tie runs before he turns thirty. Oh man! Oh, you want to know? Oh, you want hate mail? Yeah, but yeah.
So there was a moment when he pulled that ambulance back up. I was like, oh my, yeah, dog's gonna win because you, even though like the reason why he was in the ambulance, but he was coming in well rested. That's what I thought. Video game wise, like you know, I got a little bit more health than everybody. But yeah, that spot has kind of had the internet and a bit of an uproar, and I'm like, bro, do we not remember the thing, Bubba Ray Dudley, right, jumping a little bit into them tables when when the ladder tilted?
Like, bro, I gotta get the spot. You guys think you guys met like it's? I'm really up here. You on the couch? I gotta get this spot.
I'm at work. I'm here, and I gotta get there. Yeah. Okay. Like, and if I don't, I'm gonna get.
Yeah, it's not gonna be good for me. I'm gonna get wrecked, dude.
So shout out to Javon for uh. Taking that bump for, and I am sure it probably was his idea to do it. This is gonna be hard, and it was. You saw him when he came out Monday; he was wrapped up like the mummy. Yeah, he said they wrapped me up.
They wrapped me up, but yeah.
So, oh, another thing, because you know, I've been on the internet scowling, and somebody said. I hate Javon's gimmick. It's so corny. What's the gimmick? Black youth?
What are you talking about, bro? It's showing. That's it's showing. That was a bot, bro. I hope so.
I mean, your racist robot.
Well, you know how that works. What's all this black youth? Get this out of here. Yeah, man.
Still at that point, you know. The whole time I'm thinking Bron's getting it, and then I'm like, okay, maybe Javon's getting it. But ultimately, it was Penta, and that's where the money is. You know what I mean? The Mexican destroyer onto the ladder—that was ill.
That's such a scary move. Like in real life, you're dead. Yeah, you are dead. This dude had enough strength to jump in the air and spin me and land me on my head. And then he and then Penta hits the canvas.
You think, oh, he's hurt, but then he climbs. He makes his way and he climbed the ladder to success, escalator style, like Biggie said, and. That was a him just securing that that briefcase was. I guess anyone when they get it, it's an awesome moment. But but like, dude, Pinta, dope, man.
Because it it when we were looking at the list of people in it, it was just like, all right, I can see him, I can see him, I can see that. But you, look, I'm going to give you props. You called it. That was the guy that you said for weeks.
So it would be. The sickest choice, like sick, and he's just that guy that like the man right. He's the man. Like as far as baby faces too, like he could win any match he's in. I tell you what, better not happen.
Talk to me. He go get it from Sammy. No, that as a matter of fact, if I'm him, I might be like, all right. I took him to the limit. Yeah, I don't know if I could beat him, but I I think I can beat him.
Not to mention my brothers over on SmackDown, my brothers over there.
So if I need some help, but and this guy, he even though they haven't been out, he got a lot of people who can come out and and ruin this cashing for me. I don't know if I want to do that. Maybe he will go. They better not send him down to AAA though. Oh my god.
No, because El Grande just got it. It's a great story. That that better the old Charlotte Flair. Remember when Charlotte when Charlotte won Rumble or something? She went to NXT because I hadn't won, but you had won that one.
So what was the point? You had already had that. Yeah, it's different when Becky that wasn't a cash. It's different when Becky won. Yeah, because that was a belt she hadn't won.
Oh my god. Yeah, I'm just I'm like hoping. Ain't no way. Ain't no way. Because El Grande got the people in the palm of his hand, real lifestyle, not for money in the back.
So, yeah, no.
So, I. Oh man, this is set up a triple thread at some point. Does hey, that would be some Vince, that be some Vince, right? Or do we get Roman? Do we get Roman and Oba, and then halfway through here, that's what I am thinking.
That's why you know, my creative liberty, like you know, if if if. If my creative liberty happened, where at Mania he got the bloodline out there, and in his chaos, and Oba's fighting back, and then everybody's laid out, and I hear dun dun dun dun dun dun dun, like bro, it's gonna go crazy. It's gonna go crazy, but. It would just be the sickest thing if he won, and now him having the choice. We hear in Rome, you know, the Roman thing is there—Sammy or whoever.
You know that they think that that title is kind of a hot potato situation over there. But what people are not thinking about is that that would be whack. That triple A, triple A. I don't want to say whack because that I don't want to diminish triple A. No, but like, but the fact of the matter is, they they got a champion right now.
Like I said, now Grande and he's got the people, man. He deserves it. And if it was a heel, maybe having that that championship, I'd probably go. Oh, they're going to do it.
So I'm gonna, I'm putting out there. I hope they don't do it.
So I'm going to stand on they won't do it. I just want to throw that out there. There's there's another one out there. Chelsea Green better watch out. Yeah, that's true because you know those those two have gotten it on in the past, man.
So Chelsea Green better watch her back. There's a there's no there was no video going around of Miz or not Miz of Maurice. She was the Divas Champion and Punk had the briefcase and she was doing an interview and Punk kind of just walked by and stared at her like he thought about.
So tell you, bro, Chelsea, watch your back. Again, the beautiful thing is we don't know. There's so many ways Penta could go with this, you know. In the men's briefcase, unlike the women, there's only about a seventy-five, seventy-six percent success rate. That means one out of every four is not going to win this thing.
Is that right? Because I'm not good at math, but yeah.
So I, who knows, man? But that's the beauty. We don't know, and so I'm down for the ride, Shay. I'm down to just like, because I I don't have, I don't have an idea in my head what to do, you know.
So let's let's let the play out. Yeah, let it play out, man. But I will say, shout out to Otis. Shout out to Baron Corbin. Baron Corbin when he lost his money in the bank, I was like.
I'm a Baron Corbin fan. Yeah, I might be one of six.
Well, you think I don't like him? I said one of six.
Okay, you know we just don't know the other four. But when he lost, I was like, "Oh, all right." Like it kind of felt like a thing is no. Why'd you make a win, right? But no one can complain because John Cena lost. Yeah, so if John Cena lost the cash in, then you know it's like no one can ever complain about not winning.
I completely forgot. Yeah, John Cena lost.
So if John Cena can lose a cash in, then no one else can say nothing. No, you know what I mean.
So I'll never say another kind word about John Cena again. Yeah, it's our guy. It's my guy. I might uh, I might watch uh, Matchbox. Yeah, I might watch that this afternoon.
Then you know, let's do it. Cause who won in air? Couple. You know Jesse Bill's in that movie. Put one in the air, y'all know what we talking about, yeah, man.
So, Money in the Bank, you know, a lot of people not happy with some of the winners, you know, but you are never going to make everyone happy, so you can't ever try. Only one was probably Brian Daniels, but. I don't know. There was a certain sense of pride I took watching Money in the Bank, Shea, and and here is the reason because I am sitting there and I had my notebook out jotting down some notes because I was like, "Well, wait a minute," and and wait a minute, and wait a second.
So I start writing this down. Here is a no contest wrestling exclusive about Money in the Bank, and it's just something for us because last week. Was our official two year anniversary of doing this podcast?
So we've been doing this two years, one hundred six episodes, probably a little less than that because we've done some Christmas episodes, right? Not a single cake, not a cake, but. What I took pride in, and what I know you will take pride in when when you realize this, is there were nineteen. I think we've got a graphic to support this. There were nineteen men and women who performed at Money in the Bank.
Oh no way! Nineteen.
Okay, seventeen out of the nineteen have been guests of the No Contest Wrestling Podcast. This is. Two years in the game, we had almost an entire card as our guests.
Now, out of the seventeen that have been guests, eight have made more than one appearance, including the two winners, Penta and Tiffany Stratton.
So, I just felt like that was a real sense of accomplishment for us to have almost an entire card. The only two people we haven't had are Kevin Owens and J.C. Jane. Other than that, everyone who competed. And money in the bank in a match has been on the show.
We have interviewed, talked to, chopped it up, and like I said, eight of them multiple times.
So yeah, man, that that kind of made me feel that made me feel pretty dope, bro. And I know, and I'm sure you feel it.
Now that you know this, because I didn't tell you this earlier, right? I mean, we've been putting in work. We've had people really loving what we're doing. We've had these performers who are agreeing to come back multiple times. You know, they weren't having a good time if we didn't have a good energy, a good vibe.
They'd be like, "I'm good." But you know, some of the biggest stars, oh, but four times, Trick, multiple times, Javon, multiple times, Tiffany, multiple times, Roxanne, our buddy Punk, Punk, multiple. I mean, we got Punk, CM Punk, one of the biggest stars. Yeah, Penta, multiple times. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. So yeah, congratulations.
To everyone, all our crew here, you know, from our bookers to our producers to our graphics to audio to you and I, we all put this together. This is t here is not a lot of people, man. T here is only like six of us, you know. But this it's really two of them are on camera. Two of them are on camera, so t here is four behind the scenes that you might not see.
That's it. We're a small we're a small organization, we're a small business here. But man, that yeah, really made me feel kind of cool. You know, I am saying that, and that was two. But yeah, man!
Congratulations on that. Let me see that picture of T.J. and Tiffany Stradigan. Hey now. Anyway, have mercy.
Have mercy. The funny thing about that picture is you're actually on her left side, but you got chopped to put this one. Hey, I mean, like it makes sense, bro. And we get both winners holding our titles. Both money in the bank winners.
Not only have we interviewed more than once, they both have held this belt. They both got Tiffany Stratton DNA on this belt. We got Penta DNA on this belt.
Well, it might be six people on this side. It's all because of people over there, man. Yeah, man.
You know, if they didn't care, then we'd be sitting here just talking. Yeah, but I got a feeling that we would probably still just sit here and talk to ourselves. Right. But then I'd just be like, just showing up to the Rich Eisen show. But you know what I'm thinking?
What do you think? Because I see a lot of streamers do this. I got a lot of friends in the streamer community. Sina, good to see you. But like, I think we should set up little, little, little.
Maybe it might be dope to set up a little PO box for our fans to be able to send us things. You know, send us like we got that cool DM from that guy. Remember the DM that he said that he watches. Oh right, yeah, watches our show and all that stuff. You know, a little fan mail.
You said cool DM because. Honest to goodness, bro, you don't see a lot of them. There are so many. Yeah, there are so many. It might be a nice little segment on the show.
You know, open up our stuff. We might get some some nice things, some nice letters from these lovely people while we're still a tight knit community. Or we do have an email that we've never given out.
So we never gave out our email. We never gave out the email. This hold on, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. This might be dangerous. We might.
Yeah, let me hold off on the email. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. We'll have a team meeting. We'll have a team meeting. We'll get back to y'all.
Well, I mean, it can't hurt, you know. Right. Nothing's going on. But like, you know, next thing you know, got a bunch of, I rather someone's in there. I'd rather get yeah, that's true.
Just if you're going to be nasty, just yeah, right. It is up on social media. But the subject be like, really appreciate everything you guys do.
Now all of a sudden, dicks. All right, I didn't think about that. You want to you want to get out a PO box?
So, like, listen, bro, I don't know about that. You we can burn stuff. Yeah, but if you open up an envelope with some sales threats, stop. Ryson, shout out to Breaking Bad. That's the only reason why I know where Ryson is.
Or by the way, Neely on on Amazon. If you you know if you're a Reacher fan, Neely had same thing. Like somebody said, oh, it got on. It was oh yeah, got on. Do you watch Neely?
Did you watch Reacher? Oh, that's big with big home, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, Neely was like the spinoff, which is the number one show on Prime right now. I think I I love it, but there is some parts of it like you know. Here's another aside. The problem with Neely is they're they're trying to find one of her friends. He walks in front of a train, a subway train, and offs himself.
But he's on some type of substance. She's trying to figure out what happened to him. She sends a street kid in to this cult. Like to do police business, I'm like. First of all, my man's living in the street.
How can like? How is he going to go in there and find stuff out? And then they're going in there to to go retrieve him. And one of the people with her, it was a girl who worked at the the PI's office, and she's like, I was making copies last week, and now you got her in a vest with a nine trying to go. Say I'm like, come on, stop!
But anyway, I do like it. It's worth watching. But that those two points, a little plot armor, little plot armor, just really plot armor, baby. But anyway, yeah. Where were we at?
I love that part of it right there. Might be my favorite part of the episode.
So yeah, we covered all the money in the bank, right? And like I said, that was really cool to find out that we were so. Kind of in there. I don't know how many other podcasts can say that. I'm, you know, maybe one of the WWE's nine.
Yeah, that doesn't count. That don't count. I'm talking, you know, I don't know if even Van Vleet has done that. He probably has. He's been at it for a while.
But yeah, man. Yeah, man.
That's really cool. Um, but yeah, so we'll see. We got two new briefcase holders. We have no clue what either one of them is gonna do. I'm sure Tiffy's going to accessorize her case like she did the last time.
Didn't Nia? Wasn't Nia the one who actually got her? Yeah, yeah. So we'll see if Chelsea Chelsea does that for him. Penta, like you brought up earlier, he got you know fire shooting out of his fire.
Come on, that is dope. Yeah, but but your Baron Corbin actually put on Twitter. I think it was Corbin. I like to see him get that through TSA. Yeah, right.
So how are you traveling? That might just have to travel with production. Yeah, man.
Golly, what if you hit the button by right? You can't put that on the plane. Hold on, that's gonna stay. The truck, creative liberty. What if on his cash in, pop that button on somebody, have a a moment with the sparks, old school.
Here comes the pain, WWE type stuff. Because you know back in the day, like the original Sheik, he throw a fireball. Yeah, bro, hit the hit the button on the screen. You know, and if you watch Penta back in the day, you know Luch Underground. Bro, he was a lunatic.
He was scary. Like the WWE fans who don't aren't familiar with him, you haven't seen Dark Penta yet. Yeah, and probably the way it's going now, you're not going to because he's over. Yeah, he he kind of in that Rey Mysterio pocket. But man, you don't want you don't want evil Penta coming out, snapping arms and stuff, bro.
Like, bro, that was first of all, as soon as I saw her. I was in love with Io Shirai, but once I scoured the internet and I saw her and Penta, oh yeah, I was like, oh, she a dog? Oh, Kyrie wrestled him, like he, you know, Penta Chelsea, Chelsea, yeah, Chelsea. Which for those who didn't get my joke earlier, him casting on Chelsea because they had, yeah, look that up, go to, yeah, look that up, and come back to me and tell me that's not a funny joke. But oh, by the way, another aside, I just love our aside.
Did you see my shirt today? Joffrey, you know what that is, right? Uh huh. Uh huh. So people listening, I have a shirt because we taught Game of Thrones, and the reason I wore this today because last week in the comments, someone was like, "I'd be here for a Game of Thrones like rewind." Basically, what I did is I made a shirt years ago of Arya's kill list.
Remember when she had on right that she was gonna that she was gonna merc?
So you want to read them up? Yeah, Joffrey, Cersei, Illyana. Sir Merin, the Hound, Walder, Tywin, the Mountain, Roose, Oliver, Beric, Melisandre, and Thoros of Mere. Oh, of Mere. Yeah.
So anyway, that was you know a Game of Thrones pod. You know most of my followers on Twitter is because I was live watching Game of Thrones. Oh, really? That's like like I had like maybe. Maybe an increase of maybe fifty thousand followers because I had never seen Game of Thrones.
The pot is shifted. I've never seen Game of Thrones, and I was this is before pandemic too. I was just just had time, and I was you know my me and my girl at the time was like all right, let's put it on, and I tweeted DM or different. Huh? Yeah.
Okay. And so then I started to um started to tweet out what I was watching, and they got a bunch of like, "Are you watching Thrones for the first time? You watching Thrones for the first time?" And at the end of episode one, spoiler, I ain't never seen them kill a kid. Like they push that kid out a window. I was like, "That kid?
I'm locked in." Kid got a name. He has no name with me.
Okay. You told me not to go. We're going to stop this because. He's very well known for his for his get the bleed button. He's very well known for his Brand Stark.
As you Brand Stark, he's you snake. All right, so now we're gonna tilt back. No king of mine, stand up for yourself, Brand. All right, so let's get back to the wrestling because then this will take over. But anyway, I just wanted to point it out because people were like, "I would be here for it," and we talk Game of Thrones, so I figured this was the right shirt.
I would be down. I have rewatched Game of Thrones four times. If we can get a power, me and you watch the wrong comment on it. And for anyone who hasn't watched Game of Thrones or who was hesitant, because you know there's been some spinoffs, watch the first one. But do yourself a favor: turn on the closed captioning.
It will make all the difference in the world, especially when the names because the name there's so many names and houses, and and so it'll really help you lock in and understand.
So just that's that's. TJ's tidbit of the day: If you're going to watch Game of Thrones, turn on the close. I thought I was just old. Because I watch everything with subtitles. I watch everything with subtitles.
Like there's a, you don't know this, but in the anime community, there's a constant war between two houses.
Okay. All right. There is the dub and the sub. I thought you want to see the dub and the sea. No, the dub and the sub.
All right. The dubbed. We are the people who like to actually enjoy what we're watching and maybe have to do other things. We're the people that watch. The shows with the English dub, so we have English voice actors speaking English because I speak English.
Now, the subs are the people who watch the shows with the intended voice actors speaking Japanese, and you read the subtitles. That's why it's sub and dub.
Okay. And respect to the sub community, but like, if I'm eating food. I can't. I don't know what they said right there. I have to come back up and read it real quick.
Don't eat while you're watching. I can't do anything else. Like you can't do nothing else with sub dub. I can do a multitude of things and still be locked into the story. Also, speak English, but I respect both.
But there was a war that will always be there. But what they don't know is whether it's dub or sub. I got subs on, baby.
Okay, I'm the hybrid. I'm a daywalker, if you will. All right, and that is our animation minute. Animation minute here on No Contest, right? Which I can offer nothing.
To this, it's all right, man. But you got it covered. You have my back. You got it covered, one hundred percent. Right, like I said, kind of like any time we have guests and come on, and you guys really, because I, you know, I am at the age where like I stopped video games right before, like you know, before people start streaming.
Get you on GTX Six. You probably never will. To be honest with you, the only thing I want. I I still play Miss Pac Man. Me and Del Tufo were having this conversation yesterday.
It would be Del Tufo. Miss Pac Man was better than Pac Man. I don't even think that's even an argument. Miss Pac Man, that's my thing. But if they were to update.
Techmo Super Bowl, Super Techmo, because I still play that for the old Nintendo every now and then. Bo Jackson, I can't be beat. But yes, I just my video game. I just kind of stopped at that point, so I didn't never gotten an anime and never gotten a cartoon like that. When you, so it's like, but the thing is, what I'm saying is, I love it when you know you can you make that connection with our guests, and I don't mind sitting back for fifteen twenty minutes and not talking about it because.
Not my area of expertise, but I can sit and learn, and I see how happy you guys are geeking out about it. I love it, man. If you like, if you like it, I love it. You know, and I appreciate that about you. We gotta get you to play Grand Theft Auto Six.
We gotta get you to play Grand Theft Auto Six, and we gotta get Rich Eisen and some Timberlands. These are things that I need. I was just at Footlocker at Fox Hills Mall because that's where I bought these Jordans at the from the Fox Hills Mall, and they had like five new, four new Timbs out, all black joints, the the wheat. The bottles, yeah. If I could get, we can get rich.
We can get rich some times, but that's probably far easier than me playing Grand Theft. At least, bro, I'm telling you. Because back in the day, like my boy Wilmer, right, like. Wilmer used to be on the seventy show, and so Friday nights was the filming night. And then what would happen is the majority of us would go hit the Hollywood Club after that.
Before a few years, Wilmer he was still hanging out with his high school friends. He'd go back to the crib. They play like James Bond. Oh yeah, Double O Seven, Double O Seven, and there was another one like that before Call of Duty came out, and so they were in all the first-person shooter games. Yeah, and I tried a few times, I couldn't.
It's that's a whole different world. Yeah, it was a different world.
So, like I said, even be. That point, that's what twenty years ago. I still wasn't kind of stopped back then. I'm telling you, bro. Grand Theft Auto, you could do a whole lot of nothing and still get entertained.
Like it's just exploring, man, and it's it gets hectic.
Next thing you know, police are after you because you've had your eighth robbery because you just decided to rob all the liquor stores one day. It's crazy, man. And I've been playing Grand Theft Auto Five for a dozen years. Wow. I should not be playing any game for that long, and it's still going to be entertaining.
And Grand Theft Auto Six, it might be so good. That that might be the way that the robots get us.
Well, that's the one thing I do know is for years and years and years you'd always get. We got blank before game. Yeah, before Grand GTA Six. GTA Six might be the end of humanity. That like it might be that point in civilization.
That's why everything is coming before it. It's over, dog. I don't know what to say. And then we only got till November. Allegedly, allegedly, yeah, right.
But anyway, that's that's another one. Rockstar send me stuff. Anyway, one more thing before we get out of here, Seth Rollins came on to the Rich Eisen show last Friday, and before he dipped, I realized that I hadn't seen you know everyone who we're going back to the the unfortunate passing of Benjamin Satterley, a.k.a. Pack, a.k.a. Neville, which by the way I found out.
I believe it was Chris Harrow, who who tweeted this out. The way to remember the proper way to say it is when he was a kid, when Ben was a kid, had some abs, and his dad used to call him Pat for six pack.
So it's not pot, it is pack because he has six. Yeah, and he just didn't want to put the kale in because he'd be criping. What you doing, right? But I'm pretty sure, coming from Newcastle, that was not in his thought. But that's probably not what he was thinking.
But yeah, six pack. Yeah, so that's where Pat came from. But you know, Seth came into the show like he he tends to do, and I wanted to kind of talk to him because I realized that I hadn't, you know. Not that everyone's bound to make a a post about someone like with Sammy, it took him a while. Like, and if you haven't seen Sammy Zane's, it's really good, and I think we talked about last week.
But I talked to Seth, and he wanted to like kind of speak on Ben because he hadn't made he hadn't made any public You know, yeah. Speech is any public post on about him, so it was kind of cool for him to take the time to give that to us. His first words about the the passing of Ben.
So we have that. This is the first time that I've kind of talked to anybody about Ben on camera at all, and it's hard to really put into like a concise statement what.
Sort of person he was. I think that's the place that I always start. He was just like an awesome dude. Like he was so funny and so unique, but he was also super loyal, and he was down to earth. He was kind of like just one of those people that, and I don't think he, I don't know if he knew this or not, but like you.
A lot of us who were his friends, at least speaking for myself, we looked up to Ben. We admired him. I think because he was so incredible at what he did in the ring, but he was also so humble about that part of his life and the way he treated people with kindness and like love. And there was a warmth about him. He was just a.
He was just an awesome dude. And I've known him for. I mean, I met him. I want to say it was two thousand seven. We were in Europe.
It was my first time in Europe, and I was on this tour, maybe Germany or Austria or somewhere in that neighborhood. And I saw him wrestle for the first time, and I was blown away. As I, I was. This is two thousand seven, so I would have been. 21, and I remember thinking, Yo, I'm I'm an athletic guy, right?
And then I saw Ben, and I was like, Oh, okay, I gotta I gotta figure something else out because I'm never gonna be able to move the way he moves. He was such a unique person, but he was also just a great human, like just top to bottom, fantastic. And I and I hope, you know, his legacy in the wrestling world will be one thing, but his legacy legacy amongst the people that loved him and knew him was just that he was an awesome. Awesome human being, and my heart goes out to his family, his parents, and his wife, who are, you know, everything to him. You know, he's like a lot of people who make it big in the states.
The way he did, they move and they stay here permanently. But like, his home was Newcastle. Like that's where he. That's just where his heart was, and that I think him moving back there and wanting to be there was kind of said everything. In one little.
Piece about who he was and what was important to him in life. Man, thank you to Seth for doing that. It was really cool for him to do that. Yeah, man, and just it just goes to show, man, like. You really wish you would have known all of this about him when he was here, right?
Just the same thing I said about the butcher, Eddie Williams, when he passed. You you hear about how awesome of a human being you know these people are, and how so many people, so many wrestlers, looked up to him and. You know, it's just—it's sad. This is a tragedy, and it's going to have long-lasting effects on the community. You know, from the people who, you know, knew him and loved him, man.
So, like I said last week, it was—I think. He was so good; he just took him for granted. Yeah, took him for granted. And that's the beauty that I've I've found in wrestling. The older I've gotten and been able to actually speak with people, and the beauty of of our show.
You know, my mom when we first started this. She was. She would tell me people that she didn't want us to interview. Oh really? And why?
She like because I'm gonna end up liking them, and it's just because you see them as people, you know, and you want. After a while, you you you start to harbor for them and root for them on a different level, and. You have to remind yourself sometimes that the people who maybe you you wish would have got this and that and the third. It's a business at the end of the day, but they're they are people that have touched so many. At the end of the day, with their work, with something that they love to do, and it's still hard to really believe.
Yeah, somebody that you just watched. Gone like that. I I keep bringing it up, but it just reminds me so much of when Bray passed. Of how it hit me. Of just like, there's no way.
Yeah, like there's no way. This is this is a guy that I'm supposed to like. She get put into the Hall of Fame. I still remember getting that text. I remember who sent me the text.
It was my buddy John Piermarini. I've spoke about him many times on the show because he's someone who was a friend of mine who went on to become a writer for WWE.
So he knows we have to have him on one day because he can tell us all the inner workings. But yeah, he sent me that text, and I must I remember looking at my phone like four because he knew like I was a Husky Harris fan. Yeah, right because. Nepo baby, here we go. Second generation.
I always liked them. Here he is, the son of Mike Rotundo, who I grew up watching. The nephew of Barry Windham, who, in my opinion, one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time. The grandson of Blackjack Mulligan.
So when I heard about him being in there, oh yeah, I'm a root for this dude because I love everyone in this family, you know.
So I was a fan of Husky Harris, and then that that didn't work. And then here comes this Bray Wyatt.
Okay, well this is well we're. This is my guy. Whatever he's doing, this gonna be my guy.
So yeah, he knew how like much I love Bray Wyatt.
So he was like, "Bro, I just heard this, and I hadn't heard it." So yeah, I don't even know how we got on this, but it happens. Yeah, the Bray thing. Yeah, we're just two that was sad, man. Yeah, sad when you see. I don't know.
I feel like maybe sometimes we get, and we've talked about this. Maybe we get more.
Now we've said this. Football players are in armor out there. You know, baseball players are covered head to toe. Wrestlers are so, and I—I mean this like in a in an acting sense. You're naked out there for the world to see.
You're putting yourself out there, right? And I feel like maybe it's because they are so exposed that that's why we feel maybe a more You feel closer to them because you can see in real time. I watch CM Punk go from twenty-two years old to now. He's what? Forty-two, and so I watched that whole transformation.
Just connection, yeah. I watched that young Seth Rollington, like now a forty-year-old Seth Rollin, and it's like you you feel a little bit more connected. Like I, you know, football players have the helmet on, yeah.
So this is like when you watch a TV show and you or your favorite, and you you watch your you know your favorite characters by season, yeah. And when when the show ends, you feel like you miss them, yeah. You know, it hurts.
So that's it's one of the Few things. I mean, not one. Few things. I think that's one of the things when people, you kind of wonder like, how do you become a wrestling fan, or what is about wrestling? I think that's just one of those things you throw in there, is because we feel so closely associated because we're seeing everything.
The same thing you get from a TV show with a different level of human connection. It's different. It's just different, bro. Yeah. And I, I suggest everybody get on it now.
Rest in peace to Ben. Thank you to Seth. That's the just another little thing about our show that you know sets us out to be a little bit different. There, before we get out of here, TJ, there's, there's, I got three things I got to get off my chest. Yeah, you got something special for the people.
Yeah, yes, something I promised the people, and also something that we promised earlier. Can we talk about what's going on with Max? Max, yeah, you know how you get fired on your day off. It wasn't even a day off; it was his first day of work. Oh, I thought he got fired Saturday.
I think it was probably Friday night. Probably when he got in the locker room. It's crazy to me. You know who Max Caster is. You know what his gimmick is.
He goes out there and he makes rap. Listen, we were big fans of the Acclaim. Huge when they came. Still confused about that whole thing. Yeah, how like because I knew they were Tony Khan creation.
So you would, and and they did. They got a push for a while. It was really weird to see them break up and do their own thing. But here comes like when the Iconics broke up. For what I kind of.
Man, yeah.
So I like Max. You know, he's going to go out there. He's going to say something. He's going to push a few buttons. But the fact he pushed the button.
But the thing is, man. Like, I'm not one of these people. Like, well, we're soft in society today. But I've heard MJF get be allowed to say things into a microphone that are far more. Yeah.
Disrespectful, far worse than a throwaway bar that that maxed throughout. And instead of maybe admonishing him or saying, "Look, we don't do that here," suspend you. Just let the man go. Like you fire him over this line. And I'm, I know there are people out there who are upset.
I don't look. I'm not going to tell you how to feel. All I'm saying is. Just to let him go over this line, which you know it should have been like, "Look, bro, chill out." Yeah, it's definitely layers to it, you know, for it to be. You know, when it when it comes to things of that nature, as far as what's happening in the news, still a little fresh.
Yeah, you know, there might be some people who got some loved ones in over there in that situation. Of the, you know, in respect. Yeah, yeah. There's that. There's that layer.
I feel for you. There's also the WWE layer. TNA is like, bro, like we we still like. A little locked in, and like you know, we've we've had we've had some some of our WWE calls. Can you imagine what that one would have been like?
So, like you know, they hey, that's that's you know, you know what I'm talking about. Yeah, but also know that they're. They're not. I don't feel it's an even partner. Listen, we don't know the ins, but we know that some somebody on that side thought it was something that was like this is not going to be.
We don't know it came from them. Apparently, it came from Carlos Silva. No, no, I'm saying there's somebody over on the TNA side that was like this is in a good look for us, and it's so unfortunate when you see somebody get in their own way, because like. You could have said anything else. Like people were excited to see you.
I was pumped when I saw you. I was like, oh, I get to! I could watch them on TNA. Like the acclaimed was such a great tag team. They were so over.
They had it all: the entertaining and they could get down. Yeah, our boy Anthony. No, no games out there. All right, and it's just like. I don't want Max to be one of these.
Like, I don't want them to to Enzo him. Like Enzo should. When I see big casts out there, it pisses me off that I don't see Enzo. And that comes from talking to him. Yeah, that comes from talking to him.
Because if you ever met or talked to Eric, then you know Enzo is a creation. He is a character. You talk to Eric. Different dude, real dude. He got.
He remind me of a little bit like LeBuff. You know, Shia. Like when you know Shia, like yeah, you know, like he a real one. Like like my man Berthold, John Berthold. He got a.
He got a. He had a pod called a like something with real ones. And so like it was just like they they remind me of each other. But it it's it sucks. You don't want to see somebody who you see so much talent in.
Feel like they're getting blackballed a little bit, and I, you know, it's just it's unfortunate, but you. Gotta know when to. You gotta know what what's worth. What what battles are worth fighting. I'm not saying like don't fight for Max, but I'm like, in his position, he's gotta know.
Maybe I can hold back on that one right now. It's my debut. I want to make some noise, but my man, you came in with too big of a splash, and you know, in the in the wrestling, perfect wrestling world, we're all getting worked. But like, yeah, I doesn't feel that way right now. Yeah, but like I said.
As fans of Max, it just kind of it just stinks. Like, damn it! To see that happen to him, man, and I'm sure looking back, you know, maybe he wouldn't have said it. hindsight is 2020. Yeah, but um, what's it gonna?
I I tell you, who's probably a little upset by this, and he probably should be. I don't, you know, I can't speak for him. Is AJ Francis? Because yeah, AJ Francis. And Max, whether they were together, maybe as a tag team or going at it, those two money.
There would have been money. There would have been magic created money. With those two, like imagine them as a tag team. Imagine, like, you know what I mean? Max Castor and or them going at it, like you know, Max he put on a great match with Moose, and Moose, you know, really kind of gave him his props at the end of the match.
But yeah, man, AJ and and Max, it just seemed like when I heard Max came out, I was like, okay, yeah, I want to see these two together. And so that could have been a lengthy suspension, but they they just pulled.
So, like I said, I I can't speak for AJ. You know, AJ he might not even been on AJ's radar, but we know AJ. AJ's smart, yeah, and I'm pretty sure AJ saw the potential in he and Max getting together on the mic and and and doing business with each other.
So when AJ Francis start producing matches. Like when he starts to like when he'll put his brain to that, when he get on that side of it, we're gonna get some bangers. Even if he's not in the ring, right? You know, AJ AJ got a mind for this thing, dude.
So, yeah, so wanted wanted to speak on that for a little hiccup. Shout out to Max, pissing me off, Max. We we we like it. Come on, baby, reel it in. But that's the thing.
I don't want to. I don't want to tell somebody to reel them, man. Especially when you got to know you pick your moments. When you got other cats who, like I said, can get on this mic and curse and say whatever the f they want. But then that goes back to Max.
You can't just don't mention war. Max can't get away with things that other people can get away, and that's a discussion for another day. Which leads me to my next topic. I'm here to talk about black people. That's right, folks.
Black people. Ah, ah. Nine four six. You saw who was at the end of that? Mellow is money, bro.
Mellow being in nine four six. Does it make sense? Probably not, but I get to see Carmelo Hayes, bro, and he is put in a spot with the main eventers, and that right there is a win, a win. I'm excited to see somebody who I've actually heard speak on the microphone in 946. That's going to be great.
They are stacked. They personally. People are going to get on me and be like, "I'm just a bloodline apologist," but maybe these two guys shouldn't be working the Usos so easily. They are big, yes, but the Usos are still the Usos. They have had more titles than anyone here.
But I digress. I liked how the match went chaotic. To the people, what's the what's the the people who do the music that we be mad at? Oh, CFO? No, no, no, no, no.
It's a rebel, deaf rebel. No, is it deaf rebel? You don't know who I'm talking about. Y'all got your work cut out for you because if y'all give nine four six music and it don't work, it is a make or break, bro.
So that you got a lot on your plate. They better reach out to E Forty Water and have them, bro. You better get an exclusive. You know, like it's got to be have short do it or E Forty or something. Them coming out of the crowd, which as a as a as a eater, I was like, hey, don't be coming out the crowd.
That's that's where I'm supposed to be coming out. And I got to come down the ramp. But they're in a position right now where they are looking like. Until Jacob comes back, the scariest team on Raw, like Vision or Judgment Day, they not. It's too much to handle.
It's too much to handle right here. And if we get to the point where Jada start having matches on on Raw. And her and Liv barking at each other on a mic one time. I will, I'll pay them myself just to see the argument. You know, because we know with personal experience, Jada.
Loves to cuss people out. Yeah, that's our dog. Yeah, unfortunately, I've been on the end of that.
So you a survivor. That's why you so strong. That's why I'm afraid of her. That's why we make sure we mention her every episode, and we've never been in the parking lot with her. But it is important that y'all get that music right.
Carmelo Hayes needs to be a prominent member because Lord knows the internet has been killing WWE about Carmelo Hayes, and now what you got to say now, black people?
Now, bro, but there is a thing. There's you know the TikTokers, you know how they get wrestling community.
Now they're mad because. Of they perceive this as him being put in the hood group, and then it's like, well, when has that ever worked? And you know, people throughout. First of all, somebody said the nation of domination. What they were not.
Whoa, no, that was not what the nation of domination was. Come on, Joe. Hey, nothing is funnier than accidental racism. Right. Stop.
People brought up Crime Time, and that was probably the the best. And you know comparison, but even Crime Time, unfortunately, never got. Even though they did get over, you know they got over Cena helped them get over. People love Crime Time. Crime Time never did, unfortunately, win the tag team championships.
So you know the thing is, like, people are gonna be upset about pretty much anything, and I'm seeing both sides. At this point, we just gotta wait and see because we wanted Mello on television.
Now he's back.
Now we'll see what role he has. We many people felt like he didn't need this, right? Yes, I mean, but look, he had his run. He and Ilya with that U.S. title in in.
He did all of that, and they still wouldn't feature him prominently. Yeah. So, what he was doing, even though it worked for us, like eight matches with Undoubtedly, like it worked for us, but apparently it didn't work for them. And until you and I get the the pencil, yeah, and we become bookers, then we just got to sit here and and go, well, at least he's on television. Yeah.
At least he's going to get a chance. You want to be next to Roman Reigns and his crew, and then someone's like, well, how does being in the Bloodline for Help him. I don't know. We we have to wait and see. But the fact is, he instantly, with all due respect to everyone else, he's the best performer in that group.
Okay, without question, he's without question on the mic. We'll see. We'll see if they let. I you know we'll see if they let him go on the mic. Who knows?
This could be good for him. Yeah. Willing to to wait it out, I'm willing at least see because otherwise it's like no Mello on TV, and that makes no sense. The man is far too talented. He was positioned as a star, and that kind of shows the little disconnect that maybe Sean and Hunter have, because in Sean's world, Mello was him, yeah, and in Hunter's world, Mello struggling, yeah.
So let's let's pause, pause, pause, take a breath. Let's see where this goes, and look, maybe you're right. Maybe in a few weeks we're going to go. Yo, this was whack. Yeah, I'm hoping that's not the case, and I'm willing to to see this out.
But like I said, the best thing is, like even when we say people lose all the time, right? When people had a problem with Baron Corbin back in the day, and I was like, well, Baron Corbin's been on my TV on Monday, important every Monday for three years. That sounds like a win to me. You know what I mean. Carmelo Hayes looks like he's about to be in the main event of Survivor Series, so that's like a win to me.
Yeah, so let's let's pump the brakes. Let's see where it's going. Just be happy. Like I said, when the camera pan when he came out, I was like, "Well, who is that?" And when the camera pan, I went, "The hair was different." I called you. I was like, "Oh, it's Mellow." Yeah, bro.
Boom. And the what happened to the crowd, bro? They lost it. Come on, lost their minds. It was so crazy, and when I say I called TJ, bro, it was so many black people.
I thought me and him were about to come out there. All right, looked like I was watching UPN. It was insane. All right, in the early aughts, yeah, bro.
So like, girlfriend is a source awards, but it was it was a good feeling to see Mellow. I like this spot because it puts him in a prime time position, and as far as This generation of fans that might not watch NXT, even though you should, it it makes him look like oh, he's a main event level threat. He's going to be in here fighting the Bloodline. That is a stock riser. It is a stock riser, whether the internet wants to agree or not.
It has been a formula that they've been using for about six years now.
So I I believe in it. I need. This dude, my man on the far right, yeah, Broncos, shiny belt. He kept staring into the camera, and like I started to feel threatened. All right, if you look, if you go back to Raw and look, he break the fourth wall so many times it just killed me inside.
I need to hear them speak on the mic. I need to hear. I need to know these characters a little bit. I know Mello. I know Royce.
I know Jada because I watch NXT, but we need to get them shown on Raw OTM. Needs to needs to nine four six raw up a little bit. Like they they need to be prominent because right now they're just to a casual they're AOP. They're you know they're just two dudes, and so we need to make this group feel like something so it can really be a main event level threat. Because right now they're stacked.
There's not a there's not a a faction outside of stable whatever you want to call it outside of the bloodline that can go up against that much dude. And by the way, I said, bro, you were talking about the one on the shiny bill far left or. Can we put that? Yeah, the one that's not mellow.
So over here, let me see that again.
Okay, that's Lucian. My bad. Yeah, okay, bro, Lucian Price. If you look every couple of times, you're staring directly into the camera, and I couldn't help but laugh every time. I need to hear.
So, this is what we're looking at right now, and I mean, it's ugly out here. It's ugly out here on Raw. But there's one thing that I got to do before we get out of here, TJ. What is that? I made a promise to the people.
Oh yeah, that's right, that's right.
Now, what did the five fingers say to the face, TJ? Ah, they said slap, slap, slap. What did the five fingers say to the face? And I have, yo, my one, two, three, four, five. My top five slaps.
Oh, top five slaps.
Now, what you got? It was a little. I had a little. I had a little inner turmoil because I was like, "Do I want like the hardest hitting slaps? Do I want like the biggest moments?
Yeah, like there's a first of all, John Cena has slapped a lot of people. Really? Yeah, I can't even think of them. A slap started the ruthless aggression era. Oh, true.
Not of course. How'd I forget that? Yeah, bro. Like. Slaps could go a lot of places.
This might not be the only like countdown for him.
Okay, you could probably make your own.
So let's get some slaps. At number five.
Now this one you're gonna have to look up because I showed TJ earlier, and it's really really mean. Yeah, Sean Michaels slaps. The dog piss out of Randy Orton. Yeah, he hits Randy, and look it up. All you gotta do is look up Shawn Michaels slaps Randy Orton and peep this.
The noise that it makes, and when we chop this up, we might have some clips for y'all. But when the noise that that makes, DJ, we gotta talk after that. Yeah. A slap stays with you, right? A punch, for some reason, I feel like I could like.
Well, a punch is a punch. A slap is disrespectful. Yeah, you like you hit my my soul, my ego a little bit. I let you get away with that, and he slapped Randy Orton with some like, "Are you mad at me? Are you mad at me?" Check that out, number four.
Stephanie McMahon, you knew she had to be on the list. Stephanie McMahon slaps Batista's glasses off.
Now, while what I love about this, when you watch the clip. Randy Orton starts to laugh immediately because his glasses coming off was not part of it, and I'm not even sure he was ready for the slap because then he starts to smirk a little bit because he knows he just got the taste smacked out of his mouth. Look up Stephanie McMahon. Slapping the glasses off Batista. This is a little inside baseball.
Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second. Come on. This is live interrupt.
Wait a second. Live reaction.
So, yo. Randy just immediate laughing, and then Dave has to take it out on Randy because yeah, wow, immediate laughing. I don't know if it was like a oh, you go hit him. I don't know if we can even play this or show this, but yeah, just go, just go to YouTube, go wherever, and watch seventy minutes and slaps because yo, I I asked, I asked Stephanie, I said, do you have a favorite? Slap, because I am going through some slaps right now.
She didn't say. She said I don't have a favorite, but I can tell you the hardest slap I ever hit anybody. I was like, "All right, what was that?" She said, "The Rock, Levi Stadium." Oh yeah. She said, "Is this on the list?" What? No, no, no, no, no.
I am just getting a little inside baseball because you know. Got it like that, but she said she was like I don't know what it was if it was just the energy, but I just felt it. She said that's the hardest I've ever hit anybody, and then that leads to Ronda Rousey. It was a whole special thing. Let's go ahead and look at a little honorable mention for that ass.
Now, number three, do yourself a favor, TJ.
Okay, I got it loaded up for you. And like I said to our listeners, or you'll be able to see these when we post this on social. We got this in the works right now, but or if you're just watching or listening, just write it down and make sure. Right, yeah, write it down. Take a look, but whatever.
Anyway, he was just going to show me. I look. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
But Sonya Deville slaps Carmella with such vigor that. I think Selena Vega felt it. She's she's next to her, and this is back when Sonya was doing her general manager thing.
So like her hitting an employee was just out of pocket. Right. She slapped her so hard. I don't remember seeing Carmela since. Thanks, Corey Graves.
Shout out to him; he's a good dude. You know, happy family and all. But yeah, that's what number three. Number two is the whole reason why the list started, because Julia slapped the hell out of.
Okay, I pause you real quick. I just saw it. Whoa. Bro, she reached back with that. Yeah, I am talking like your neck hurt.
You got hit so hard. Yeah, that was Julia smacking the hell out of Blake Monroe. This is recent. Yeah, after she lost the Money in the Bank qualifying match, it it happened so violently. I sent it to my mom immediately.
It was like you have to see this. This was what two weeks ago. Yeah, bro, it was like this is like this is recent. She hit her with. All, all of Japan, all of Italy too.
Behind, yeah.
So like, that was a real force. But my number one favorite slap, okay, in the history of the WW, the Rock slapped Vince McMahon one time in the limousine. He said, "Vince, come here. Vince, come here. You don't want the driver to hear this." And smacked the taste out of Vince McMahon's mouth.
One of the funniest moments of my childhood. I'm talking like WW with an F on it. He has Vince. He lulls him to sleep. Looks around like a thief in the night and smacks the taste out of his mouth.
Go ahead and look that up for a laugh. These are my top five. One, two, three, four, five. To the face slaps in the WW. Vince, Vince.
So Rock is in the car. Rock is already in the limo. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He calls Vince over, says something to him, and then he proceeds to smack the face off of Vince's lips. Yeah, yeah. Slides back in and dips out. Vince just got a cuss out nowhere because at that point somebody I can't see whether somebody's carrying Vince way at that point. Yeah.
Dude, Edgely Shane, at that point in the storyline, for whatever reason, he was scared of Rock. He like he was just like whatever the Rock needs, yeah, yeah. And he smacked Vince with like some real up and under, yeah, up and under. And another thing, I was looking up Stephanie slaps. A couple of those are chops to the ear.
By the way, you could have just done a top ten of Stephanie slaps, dude. She hit her mama. Yeah, she's gonna slap her mom. Then she slapped her mama like two, three times. Yeah, multiple times.
I remember. What a weird job. And I know her dad is just like, gotta hit her. And you know, she was like, I don't want to. You gotta, you know, you gotta hit her.
Gotta get it. Come on, man. It's live TV. Yeah, you gotta bring it. You gotta bring it.
Bring it. What a you know she's gonna hit her mom, man. Bro, I did a movie, janky promoters, where I slammed the door in my dad's face, and I felt bad. You gotta hit your mama. Yeah, I don't know about that.
I ain't hitting Linda Jefferson, man. Because first of all, she undefeated. That's why I'm not gonna be another notch in the W. Yeah, right. You know, now I'm on a shirt.
Dear Mama, yeah, man, golly, but yeah, I was thinking when you were talking earlier, you were, you talked about Bray Wyatt, and you were like, you know, you, you, you, you got a thing for nepo babies, man. You have a thing, especially in the wrestling world, man. Yeah, I think I want. I don't think I want a nipple baby list from TJ. Oh, don't act like there isn't one already in a draft and on my laptop.
You know what I mean. I waited two years to do this podcast. Every idea that came to mind, I had a top five, top ten list. I could have that for you next week. I am making a request.
Okay, I would like TJ's man. Five is kind of low. It's got to be ten. Top ten, and even that's going to be tough. Yeah, I need, I need TJ's top ten wrestling nipple babies.
Say less. Oh yeah, next week. Big tuna. Nepo baby's up by a billion. Tell them where to find us.

Oh, bro, we are part of the Ring of Fire. Volcan. Yeah. Vol Clan. I'm sorry.

Right. And if you disrespect us, you out of your volcan mind. Yeah. Let's go. I'm a man of my word.
