It is time for a week one 2026 National Football League edition of Overreaction Monday, presented by Marriott Bonvoy. Check in for game day with Marriott Bonvoy, the official sponsor of. The NFL.
Oh, baby. Oh, baby. We got actual regular season games to talk about. Oh, so good. Rich Eisen, Chris Brockman, and you.
Uh I I like you a lot. There's no time for pleasantry.
Okay, good, let's do it. That was terrible. That was crap. That was garbage. This place sucks.
Overreaction. Mondays. Mondays. No offense, right? I mean, of course, none taken.
None taken. All right, Chris. Oh, my God. Let's get to it. Dude, I could start five different players on Sunday.
But, Rich, let me guess, Cowboys. We got to start. Me too. We got to start on Sunday night in the Meadowlands. First of all, it's the most recent game in terms of this taping and recording.
Exactly. Secondly, it was eye-opening. It was. And so, just in case everybody's out there, oh, gosh, you know. You guys are on Disney Plus.
Oh, gosh. You guys are on ESPN2 or maybe ESPN News, whatever. Disney this is. I get it. Yeah, uh-huh.
But this is whatever you're about to say is a legitimate starting point. Uh-huh. And by the way, it's not about the Cowboys.
Okay. It's not about the Cowboys. It's about the G-Men. It's about the G-Men. Okay, what do you have?
Led by Jackson Dart, who was awesome. He was. He was sensational. He was. The Giants are the best team in the NFC East and legit NFC contenders.
Okay. Um the first part. I don't think is an overreaction. The best team in the NFC East. is entirely possible.
NFC contenders Let's see what happens. When one week from today, we're recording overreaction Monday about the bulk of week two activity. Waiting to see how the Giants follow this up on Monday night football against a well-rested. Albeit minus miles carrying depleted. in that regu in that one regard, but really angry, really pissed off.
Highly talented. NFC contending. Los Angeles Rams team.
Okay, so let's see that. All right, we do have to see it again. Because I'm sorry to make it about the Cowboys here. But I am so patently disappointed by that defensive performance. I am so patently disappointed by that.
Now, the offense, the greatest offense there is, as Dak referred to it. In a way. It's the anachronym of Gotti, which is interestingly enough debuted in New Jersey. Of course. You know, and it got buried like somebody maybe in the parking lot.
All right.
So. The Giants defensively. Are big and strong. They're like, I was looking at it. with Abdul Carter and R.
Val Reese. And Tremaine Edmonds. And you know Brian Burns. They're like the monsters of Space Jam. You know, like they're big, they're fast, they're strong.
And if healthy and well coached. That's something. to behold Offensively We do need to see. how they can do it again. The good news is, Malik neighbors looked strong and got stronger.
Odell Beckham Jr. wasn't even a factor, and we're going to assume he's going to be at some point. Isaiah Likely and Patrick Ricard, the two Ravens that John Harbaugh brought from Baltimore were absolutely factors and have transformed things. He's a number two receiver.
Well, it takes. Pressure off of Dart. To have a run game and certainly Ricard potentially protecting in. the passing game, it helps start. And uh on top of all of that, How well coached they were.
I mean, they did show a shot of Matt Nagy and Greg Roman, two of the more. But also Highly maligned coaches on the offensive side of the ball in places like Chicago, San Francisco, here in Los Angeles with the Chargers. Different story on that regard, too, about how their offense looked in week one. And supposedly we're going to look better. But well coached where You know, many times you heard Collinsworth say, just follow Patrick Ricard, and that's where they're running until the fourth quarter where they ran him one way and then ran Scataboo the other way.
They are very well coached. They were very well coached up. Also, they seemingly ran the same play three, four times in a row. Dallas couldn't stop it.
Well, that's another thing about Dallas's defense, which is leading me back to this point at home here, which is legit NFC contenders. I need to pump the brakes on that one. But in terms of the best team in the East, What they just did to Dallas, why can't they do that to Philadelphia? And the commanders, you know, did show up in week one. uh against Philadelphia and almost pulled one.
Off. But the Giants, I didn't, just looking at the four teams in the NFC East in week one, the Giants. We're as stout as any of them, if not the best. In terms of a week one performance. from their weapons and the coaching staff.
And they're um Their conditioning that we were all talking about, John Harbaugh, putting him in pads. Dart was very efficient, led the team in brushing. Actually, didn't. The number of times that he was running, I didn't think he was in danger either. He was not reckless.
He appeared to be in control.
So. I'll I'll say the half Proper reaction, half overreaction. What else do you have? All right.
I want to group because three teams, their offensive performance on Sunday was. Eye-opening, but also like, okay, here we go. And so I'm going to group them all together and say this: the top three in MVP voting this year. will be Trevor Lawrence, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson in some order. Um You're missing one in terms of offensive performance.
Oh, we're going to get to them in a second. It's Caleb.
So, I mean, if you can talk about MVP voting this year. in some order, top three. Obviously, Burrow could crash this party because the defense. Listen. Listen.
What game were you watching? I was watching that game. The defense, if Burrow gets. More efficient. We're going to talk about the Bengals.
Don't worry. I'm just saying the party could be crashed. I mean. I know that this show just puts everything in just a week-to-week box. That's why it's called Overreaction Monday.
And I'm here to. you know, pin the needle the other direction. I don't think this is an overreaction. I did also say prior to the season Josh Allen was going to be the MVP of 2026. And he 1,000% played like it.
And I'll just give you one stat here because also Lamar and this offense, Zay Flowers had 150 yards receiving before at the end of the day. Um he Got a soft tissue injury that hopefully will. Not linger, but I do have a stat for Josh Allen and how impressive he was, along with Trevor Lawrence doing what he did. I mean, his hair was also in postseason form, his shampoo and conditioning, remarkable. Ninth career game with multiple pass and rushing touchdowns.
That's five more than the next closest player. His name is Steve Young. Two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns. is remarkable because he had 303 passing. He now has 303 passing and rushing touchdowns in his career combined.
Most by any player in his first nine seasons. He's the only one now to be in the 300. Such combined touchdown club. He's unbelievable in terms of what he's done in the past and what he's already done and what he did to the Texans defense. 36 points, most in a game.
uh that the bucks have uh given up And they allowed just thirty points in just one game all of last season. That's it. It's the most they've given up since 2023. That DJ Moore move looks pretty good today. It's not too bad.
So I don't think this is an overeat. But I think Caleb could crash the party if they keep putting up the numbers. Like what we saw in Carolina.
Well, then let's do it. Let's talk about the Bears real quick because the Bears. Ben Johnson said it. He said it's a goal this season, and they're going to do it. The Bears are going to break the Broncos' 2013 total points record.
Okay. I mean We were sitting in the NFL network screening room watching this game. And By the way, for you gamblers out there, the over hit with three minutes to go in the first half. Yeah, I'm aware.
Okay. Um So We're sitting there watching. Is it possible? that if the Bears score here to get fifty Eight points. They go for two.
That is Ben Johnson. would in fact go for two. And the mere fact that that even crossed our minds. Right. But And it wasn't just my mind.
It was Cooper, who my 15-year-old who came to work with me yesterday. And that's just a 15-year-old who might think that. Um but Like the matrix, my brain was attached to everyone else in the room, and everyone else in the room to me. We were like wondering for a split section. There was a moment in time where we were all holding our collective breaths to see: will the place kicker run out there?
And I bring this up. Just to say that in football, college, Professional. that in order for you To win. Your coach has to be just a little bit Crazy. Mm-hmm.
Right? Just a little bit off. And in a good way. In a good way.
Okay. Right. In a good way.
Because there's obviously bad crazy.
Well, I mean, he went for it on fourth down early in this game, and it did. Unlike their own 25 or whatever. But it doesn't matter. If you're going to put a 60 burger on somebody, so I can't sit here and say. Listen.
This is an overreaction. I can't do that. They're also 59 points. On the way, down this path. They might have to score this every week, the way their defense is.
Well, that's again the whole shutouts, the blowouts and shutouts. Blowouts, we got right, shutout. Not so much.
So we'll see. You know, their next game is against Carson Wentz, most likely, in Minnesota. Minnesota. And that defense. A little bit better.
One would think Carolina added Devin Lloyd and Jalen Phillips to a front seven, which is what caused me to think: okay, Carolina can win this game. And it looked like, you know, it was going to be whoever has the ball last, a la Bills Texans, would have a chance to win. Um Not so much.
So I can't sit here and say this is an overreaction. I can't wait to watch how it moves from here, though. Yeah, two things too. Colston Loveland, zero catches. What?
The guy was going third tight end in every fantasy draft. You see 59 points in all those yards. And then afterward, did you hear Caleb Williams went up to Dave Canalis and was like, You guys got a great defense? Like, what? Oh, he's just trying to get it.
I mean, I know he meant it, but man. Here's a good one. Caleb Williams and DeAndre Swift, who, by the way, had three rushing touchdowns and 124 yards. First Bears player with that stat line in a single game since Rashan Salam. Oh.
In 1995, but Caleb also had multiple rushing touchdowns. First time in his career, he had that. Um The last time the Bears had two players with two or more rushing touchdowns in a game, and by the way, Menongai almost scored for a second time, too. Um The last time the Bears had a duo with two or more rushing touchdowns in a game, Neil Anderson and Jim McMahon in the season opener as well. of nineteen eighty eight.
Wow.
So, yeah, that's not an overreaction.
Okay, Bears fans. What else she got? Rich, I want to take this all the way back to last Thursday, although I think it was Friday somewhere. I'm confused. I need to watch that Kyle Shanahan video again.
The 49ers are the team to beat in the NFC. Oh, that's you're you're way ahead of your yourself right now. You don't think they're the best team in the NFC? All the games we watched on Sunday and the two openers. But I understand you put it in an overreaction Monday box.
I'm looking down the road. Come on. Listen. The Seattle Seahawks are still in this division, period. And without a quarterback, I think in week one with the NFC South.
all being O and One, we can remove them from this. equation that no matter how well the Saints played in the final throws of that game in the fourth quarter in Detroit. With that wild Jared Goff call that went against the Saints and took up a defensive touchdown off the mat. We're in the Matrix. We're going to talk about the South.
Okay. Um.
So we can remove them. Let's see how the Bears play defensively. Correct? Right? They gave up almost 40 points.
And I know you're looking at the NFC East and you're like, yeah, they didn't look like the Niners did against the Rams. Nope. I still need to hold this in abeyance, that they're the team to beat. Mm-hmm. I just do wow.
Okay. Honestly, it's too early. to start crowning teams as the team to beat. You know, September, even Steve Young himself talking about the Niners. That if you overlooked them, he called you stupid.
Sam Darnold, let's break this down. Sam Darnold's out, what, at least a month, right? We're assuming, yeah. Two weeks is what Ian Rappaport said on game. Matt Stafford looks kind of washed and no Miles Garrett.
And Aaron Donald's probably like, really? I came back for this? I'm not as conditioned as Matthew Stafford. I don't play football like Matthew Stafford. I don't Arizona looks like a football.
I don't do what I do for a living. Like Matthew Stafford, and I'm not Matthew Stafford's age. I'm one day into waking up. For game day morning, in the middle of the morning, you feel washed? I feel washed.
That dude flew to Australia, damn near 40 years old. I don't care how well conditioned he is. He's also a father of four. Can we cut the man some slack? It's just like you had to take an 18-hour flight at age 40, leaving four kids and a wife at home, and quarterback against Fred Warner.
I mean, that's a vacation. With no rest, like hey man, get your rest, sleep a few hours, wake up. You get chased around by Nick Bosa? Get out of here, man. I'm not going to make any statements.
about this Right now, overreaction. Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss. It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps it was love at first hike. Oh, sorry, halftime read. Halftime read, baby. What do you got? We were all waiting for this debut, curious what it would look like in the system, new weapons. And it went terribly.
And Kyle Murray left the game with an injury, concussion. After throwing an interception on his first throw, they're like, what? What was that? That was, by the way, I don't know what he was doing. As brutal a throw.
That was a chuck and duck. Yep. You know, hope for the best. I think I'm getting it out of bounds or throwing a 50-50 ball. I don't know what he was thinking.
But in maybe the weirdest game of Sunday, Carson Wentz led an epic Vikings comeback. And he should be the Vikings QB1 moving forward. You know what? I I I don't. Disagree.
I don't disagree. I don't think they're going to do that, though. Um I if Kyler clears concussion protocol. He will, I would be surprised if they're like, okay. We're going to go with Carson Wentz.
Because we don't still no. what Kyler Murray can do for us. That they still have a first overall drafted quarterback. Early stages of his career. Relatively.
On such an inexpensive contract that they have a true opportunity to see what's there.
Now then, you're saying it's sacrificed on the altar. Of having a former number two overall drafted quarterback who has been kicked around. All over the place, or has been kicking around all over the place, including banished from Indianapolis by the late. Dear departed Jim Ursay, who just didn't want to see Wentz's face anymore.
Okay. And you're just hoping he's now. got it to the point where they can win football games and it doesn't matter anymore. J.J. McCarthy.
Kyler Murray, doesn't matter if we drafted you in the first round ourselves and we have you on your first contract and we still need to see what we have in you, or doesn't matter that you were drafted first overall by someone else and we have you on an inexpensive contract, and we've got you now, we need to see what we have in you. That's all sacrificed on the altar of 2026, and we can win football games and a championship now with somebody like Carson Wentz. And stranger magic carpet rides have been woven before. Just ask Justin Jefferson. Whatever he wants, that's the quarterback.
I hear you. That said, I don't think this is an overreaction. I don't really think so, man, because at the end of the day you've got an opportunity to maybe win games. Let's just say Short term, then we'll move on here. Kyler Murray doesn't get out of the concussion protocol.
Because some reports had him just knocked out cold. Yeah. I mean, it looked bad when it happened. Right. So let's just say.
whence goes into Chicago. and wins that football game. And they're now 2-0 visiting Tampa. Therefore, You can start whence again. and see what's up.
Yep. And then if it begins to falter... You can then put Kyler back in saying he wasn't ready anyway. Sure.
So um We'll see. We'll see. Because it's in the ether. Mine's looking pretty good. What else you got?
Register. You mentioned this earlier, so I want to hit it on a full-on topic. The NFC South went 0-4 yesterday. And they did not look good. But they also scored over 100 points combined.
They did. Crazy stat. But nobody in the NFC South will finish over 500 this year. Nah, I think that's. That's not true.
I'll go over reaction right there. Uh I will say to you um You know, we'll find out. If The Bengals defense is actually opportunistic enough that it'll be more than just Baker and the Bucs who suffer at their hands. which I know Is tough to grasp because it's a Bengals defense. We'll find out.
Again, we'll see if this is a trend or this was just a one-off. Um But The way the Saints played in that fourth quarter and the way that Shuck was winging it around and the way that Olave was catching, the way that Vele, by the way, Olave and Vele. Olave and Vele. Is that the way? I mean, that's a, is that a crime-fighting dude to him?
Nice. The two sons of Cagney and Lacey? Olafi and Feylon? I mean, we gotta save these for these.
So we can teach them about it for ourselves. I mean,. I wouldn't be so, and you know, Chase Young was blowing up golf, and Cameron. is still at it, you know? I don't own that.
I'll see there's a chance that the Saints, I put my marker on them, maybe. All right.
We all had the Saints kind of as a sleeper early in the year, too. What else you got? All right, a few more. You know, week one, we got to empty the barrel here with these topics. You know, in 2011, Vince Young said at ha ha dream team, right?
Didn't work out well for the 2011 Eagles. And I feel like the Rams are headed that way. The Rams' dream team is going to end up just like the Eagles version. That is a missed playoff. That's ridiculous.
You know, the Eagles in 2011 started 1-4. They were 3-6, and they were 4-8 before finishing 8-8. And this Rams team has an Eagles-like feel to me. Here's the issue. with Miles Garrett now being out for a month.
is that they kinda need Aaron Donald. And he he's only gonna play what? I don't know. Who knows, man? Is he going to play this week?
Who knows? They need him against the Giants. Never thought I'd ever say that. Didn't have Garrett. and didn't have Donald last year and almost made the Super Bowl.
They did have verse though. Right. Now that will be the issue. is where do they find the pass rush from? 'Cause they didn't have it in Australia.
And I'll just say this: I need to see them play in their own time zone after sleeping in their own beds for the 48 hours before a game. I'm going to hang my hat on that one, man, because I just look at how talented they are. and cannot believe that team does not put enough wins together. To make the playoffs. I just, I can't see it.
I don't see it. Unless Stafford is suddenly completely washed, the running backs are good enough. The receivers are good enough. The tight end group is good enough. The pass rush.
Minus now, Verse and Garrett, and potentially Donald needs to be better. But the back end of the defense is vastly improved. I I I just have to say The idea Of going to Australia last minute and saying we're just going to keep our mental clocks where they are. Despite an 18-hour international dateline crossing trip, Just boggles the mind. And at the end of the day, the guy I'm going to.
Just turning over to on that front was of all people, John McEnroe was on Friday show apropos of nothing. We're previewing the U.S. men's semifinals between Shelton and TFO. And he's just like, by the way, I've been to Australia 40 times. I don't know what the hell the Rams were thinking.
Yeah, that was funny. You know, like, so.
Okay. Really?
Now, the issue is: will they somehow start two and two? Can they win two of their next three? Against a clearly improved Giants team that's next up. Their only home date of the next three. And then they're at.
at Denver and at Philadelphia. That is a massive Massive road trip. before their home for Buffalo, And then home for Arizona, which proved to be much more like a cakewalk anymore. And clearly, Arizona is very comfortable in SoFi Stadium.
So Yeah, I don't believe they're going to lose all of these. They're good enough, man. Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company. They're one of America's largest financial services companies, just like I'm so much more than quarterback Peyton Manning. I'm also painting man.
insurance and financial services together? It's a masterpiece. Peyton Manning does it again. For your insurance and financial needs, Nationwide is on your side. Nationwide Investment Services Corporation, Ember Finrick, Columbus, Ohio.
On September 25th. Melee! No one's coming for us. It's just you and me, boy. 58 miles.
Part of the Beast is the must-see adventure of the year. An incredible story of survival. I got you. One of the most extraordinary on-screen blondes you'll ever see. Ordy the greatest dog that ever walked the earth.
Brad Pitt. I'll get you. Heart of the Beast. Only in theater, September 25th. Ready to PG-13.
Maybe inappropriate for children under 13.
So I'm going to continue to keep writing this. No matter how many people will eventually ride me in the comments section of this show on our YouTube channel. I'm sure everyone expected us to start with them, but.
Well, I mean This was a very dated game in week one. It might as well have been last year based on all the action we saw Sunday. I like it. What else? A couple more.
I really liked what I saw from Raider Nation. And they're not going to finish in fourth place in the AFC West. Man, if you waited and took Ashton Genti in the second round, you are being rewarded today. Cousins was ringing it. This is this is as much um uh uh of a pump up the Raiders as it is a b you know, criticizing the chargers.
Right. Of course. Uh-huh. And that the Chargers would be your team that you pegged to finish fourth, depending in advance of seeing how the Chiefs looked at. I don't know how the Chiefs looked.
I think the Broncos are a fourth place team. I don't think the Broncos are a fourth-place team. They had the Chargers winning the division. This is just as much of let's find, listen. I'll call this an overreaction.
Because of two things. One, one last year, how about this stat? How about this stat? It's the Raiders' second straight season opening win. Yeah.
Okay. Of course. I remember last year very well. And how did it all go for Pete Carroll and the Raiders after that one? He's not the coach anymore.
Right. Um And then there's this stat. as well. That the um Dolphins started. Multiple.
multiple rookies and new players on their team. We have no idea what the hell they look like. Oh, uh totally.
Okay. So We'll find out if this is the homecoming of NFL teams. Miami. Correct. Yeah.
Or you're right, and the Raiders will wind up being better than DFL in the American Football Western Conference. American Football Conference. Ashton Chenty.
Now has A second career 100-yard rushing game with two receiving touchdowns. He's got two of 'em. Would you believe the Raiders As a franchise, have two of them. He's got both of them. He's got both of them.
Marcus Allen never did that? Wow.
third player since nineteen fifty with multiple such games. The other two are named Brian Westbrook and Christian McCaffrey. And Ashton Genty has done that in his first season plus one game. That is good company. And both of them have two.
So if he does it again. He will be the only player since the mid-century of last century. to do that. Improved up at Divine. You knew he was going to look a little bit better.
No problem. If Clint Kubiak can turn this guy into the next Christian McCaffrey, then he's the hire of the hires. Yeah. Okay. But let's just pump the brakes a little bit and see what the Dolphins look like against other teams and what the Raiders look like moving forward.
But they have to feel really good that that's what it looked like without Brock Bowers. Yes. And Max Crosby nearly took Malik Willis out of the stadium and across the street to where you got married. Oh. Which is, by the way, not too far.
Not too far. Not too far. NFL is better when the Raiders are good. And when you're married. Correct.
Patriots are all in one with you being married. That's true.
So maybe I should take this off. No, no, no, no, no, no. Come on now. Rich, there were two overreaction. Two utterly flabbergasted and disappointed, and what the hell was that process?
Performances, one in SoFi, one in Minnesota by Green Bay. And I got to do it. Jim Harbaugh and Matt LaFleur are already on the hot seat. You texted that in the chain yesterday. Get out of here with that nonsense.
Do you think Patrick's family? Pickering's not in a hot seat. Oh my God. Really?
All I heard was: look at this offense. It's going to be unlocked. Oh, I got to get Harbaugh. I heard him to the Hall of Fame. What the hell was that?
Great question. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, just listening to the game, Trent Green's like, it's a timing offense.
Well, the timing was off. I do not know what the hell that was. But didn't I tell you? that I wouldn't choose them. In my survivor pool.
I took them in one of mine. I pegged Jacksonville as the survivor pool back in the week. And I was in a rocking chair from jump. I mean, probably what, 25% of survivor pools were knocked out yesterday.
Well, the one that we're in, right? And as invited by Vinny Pasquantino into Bobby Witt Jr. Jr.
Now, one Bobby Witt had the Chargers to another Bobby Witt. I don't know. I was asking Cooper. Yeah. I'm like, what do you think?
Is it his dad, or is he? Does he have two entries? One of them had the Chargers. Listen, it was bad. I hear you.
They're not on the Hot Seat. Rich, here we go. And can we put up the Charger schedule? They're already on the hot seat. Yes, they are.
We're talking. Put up the Charger schedule. Where are the wins coming if they play like that? They could start 0-8. There are no wins if they play like that.
I mean, that was terrible. That was terrible. At one point, Herbert was running for his life again. And he had his two tackles. I know.
And and dude, they should beat Vegas. They should be Vegas already and end the previous segment's pop-up. Of the fact that Vegas is going to finish above the Chargers in the standards. And Ladidi was like getting fed at Seattle, home for Denver, at Kansas City. They best get the timing up and running.
Yeah. But I'll tell you the one who'll be on the hot seat more is is Mike McDaniel. That's the one who'll be on the hot seat more. Not in terms of being. Axed by the Chargers, but in terms like this is his pathway to back to being a head coach.
Yeah. So Yeah, Jim's not. I mean, there's no get out of here with that nonsense. If they go 6-11 this year, it'll be a disappointment to step back, and they're not going to fire him and then see who else they potentially have. To lead to come back.
Come on now. It'll be highly disappointing. And then again, Matt LaFleur is the fourth quarter. He went for it on fourth down. He kicked a field goal, took the points off the board because of an offsides, and the points off the board.
Fourth and short, went for that. And that backfired, and he had no idea that it was all going to just roll downhill on him after that. Why take the points out of the way? You're up eight. Yeah.
I hear you. Or you listen, you were criticizing, and rightfully so in our text chain, Brian Schottenheimer not going up for it on fourth and inches at the very beginning of the game. Like you begin your 2026 Gotti, we're much better than you on offense and defense season with a capitulation. And you just try to hard count them? I got it.
This is an overreaction. Let's move on. What else? All right, last one. Oh, baby, what a last one.
And you teased it a couple of times, so let's just hit it. The Bengals' defense is a better unit than their offense. All right, that's an overreaction as well. How does Jamar Chase have 12 yards? Coming in or no?
Joe Burrow did not look good. Did not look good, man. I I don't know. They came out with a win. That may say more about Tampa.
Well, I think they forced some turnovers. Just because the defense, just because, listen. This is why football players can't stand shows like this. Of course. Okay?
Now, understand, this is a construct. It is. This is a construct called Overreaction Monday. But here we are. Saying, what's wrong with the Bengals?
Can we get Joe Burrows some defense, please, so he doesn't have to do it all by himself? It's in it for years. And they finally come up with some moves. that appear to be The right ones. And in the first game of the season, The defense actually bails out Burrow and the offense.
Four turnovers. The defense actually wins the game for Cincinnati. Exactly. And you're now saying. This Is a sign of a problem for the Bengals.
Yeah, Joe Brown. Because they're now a better unit. Joe Burrell, keep up with your defense. Oh my God. That is fantastic.
Sometimes I marvel at the way your brain works. And I'm so glad that I have you as a colleague and a friend and an integral member along with everybody else here of Rich Eisen Productions. Because I don't think that way. And I'll be sitting at my desk doing the show, and I'll look at all of our competitors and I'll look at the topic bars. I'm like, how the hell do you think of that take?
Yeah. Just celebrate the fact that the Bengals got. A good Game out of their defense, and that in a game that ordinarily they would have been blown out in. Oh yeah. Blown out.
And we'd be like, what's wrong with the Bengals? Zach Taylor's on the hot seat. Burrow's gonna want out because it's not his fault.
Now you're like. Boy. Bengals are in trouble 'cause the defense is better than their offense. Get out of here, man. Get out of here.
And by the way, the play that sealed it was a burrow to T. Higgins' throw for a first down. That was a dart. only could be caught by Higgins, and he made an all world grab. Chase Brown looked as fast and as difficult to take down as ever.
P. Ryan made some first downs. Yeah, and you know who was pissed yesterday? Jamar Chase. I don't even have Jamar Chase.
No, this is a fantasy thing. I don't even have Jasmine. Overreaction. My God, what a. You know what that was also?
That was The fireworks show at the end of a great, great time for you and your family. Yeah. That was it. Much cheaper than paying for actual fighters. You're welcome.
