Check responses for accuracy. Oh, ladies and gentlemen. Yeah. Welcome. To another Wednesday episode of the No Contest Wrestling Podcast.

TJ, the volunteer. Underappreciated podcast it raised, man. Underappreciated by some, but by others.

Well, by others, by all y'all. We know you love us, but I am the heel that you love to hate. O'Shea Jackson Jr., aka Petty Guerrero. Hey, yo, it's me, it's me. It's the Touhou, the J-I-G-G, 2G, TJ Jefferson.

And listen, it's been a long time. We shouldn't have left you without some no-contest to step to, but we're back, baby. We are back after a week off. You know what I'm saying? We took a vacation.

It wasn't necessarily because of us, it was because everyone in the studio. You know, it's summertime, it's July. People got things to do.

So, things to do, sun to catch, all of that, bro.

So, yeah, we were off last week, but uh, happy to be back. To be talking to y'all, and uh, you know, while we were gone, a lot some big things happened-a couple new championships, a couple, a couple new championships, I say, um, furthering of SummerSlam playing.

So, let's get into all of that. But, first and foremost, I got to say, man, I got to give you props, you and your family props. This past Sunday, I went to the big three at the Galen Center on USC's campus. Seen many, obviously, I've seen many big three games on television, but this is the first time that I've ever been in attendance for one. Yeah, man.

Well, you saw some good ones too. Yeah, they all were close. A lot of close games, a lot of good games. You know, the format of Big Three and everything is great. And just wanted to give props, man, because you know, you're going to go there.

You're going to see a bunch of players that you have heard of and seen before. There's also a group of players, people that you've probably never heard of before. But what it is, is just half-court, three-on-three, really good, really competitive basketball. And thank you for the ticket. It was great, man.

I'd been wanting to see Big Three for a while and it didn't disappoint. And so, yeah, it was definitely a good show on Sunday. Yeah, you know, Big Three is always. You gotta go. Just like most sporting events, when you go, you get a real feel of.

of the event Really, and It's a special thing, the big three. We've come a long way. You know, in the beginning, I remember when people told my father that it wouldn't last five years.

Some even got on TV and said it wouldn't last three. Here we are season nine, and it's all because of the support of the fans and everybody who wants to see big three basketball. And you know, uh we got to do it at Galen Center, which was special for me because, you know, that's at USC, the USC is uh arena and It was a little bit of my house, you know, territory going on. My man Elijah Stewart. Plays for our Dallas Power.

He is a former Trojan. Let's say former Trojan, but you're always a Trojan. Nick Young. Nick Young, coach. Of the LA riot, he's a Trojan.

DeMar DeRosan came through, so when you're Tyler Halliburton was in the building, bro, not a Trojan, right? But yeah, the same colors, I think he went to Iowa State. But, like, yeah, so it was a special time. Yeah, shout out to Tyrese. Tyrese Halliburton showed up for James Johnson, who plays for the DMV trilogy.

It's a good time, man. It's a good time. Families out there. And we had a packed house, you know, packed house.

So it was, yeah, it was some great games. And you got to. Chomp it up with the dog. Yeah, you know, w before I get to that, it's You know, you realize, man, to have success in the big three, I think it's about size because guard play is nice, but the teams that do well have some big cats on the team.

So, and then you also forget how big these men are, right? Because I'm 6'3, so I'm tall compared to almost every normal person. But, you know, you get on that quarter, close to that quarter, and you see, like... Steve Nash and Tony Parker are 6'2, 6'3, and they look like little fellas. Right.

You know, but yeah, you know, it was all in all. It was, it was great. You know, my favorite part, you know, when the coaches contest a play to hit the button, what's the button called? Bring the fire. Bring the fire.

So if you want to challenge a play, you hit a button, like flames shoot out, lights go red, smoke starts billowing, and then it's a one-on-one situation where coaches pick two players that go one-on-one. And then the guy, if someone scores, you get the point. If you don't score, you don't get the point. And it's just, you know, just little things that set your league apart. You know, the four-point play, obviously, that's great.

Didn't see me and your boy Roman were talking. We didn't see enough four-pointers. Yeah, the last week, though. Oh, my God. My man Pargo hit four.

Four, right? Yes. But yeah, it was great. And then, you know, every time out during halftime, you know, your pops was sitting, Ice Cube was sitting three rows in front of me. And then just like fans would all converge behind him.

And he would stand there, smile, take pictures.

Now, you like I said, you know, I've got this weird thing about your dad because I was a kid listening to them.

So I'm looking at this smiling man, and it's always like, that's not the figure that I've always grown up with. But like you said, it's like, well, you think he just frowns in the house all the time? But it was great to kind of see him enjoy like. And I'm assuming he was literally enjoying himself, enjoying the fans who were flocking to talk to him and get a picture or an autograph or just to say hi. And that was really, really dope to see him being.

You know, just celebrated for what he's done for the big three and everyone in there to bring us this entertainment.

So it was really cool to just watch that as an old school Ice Cube fan. Like I've told you, bro, like I have a 10-minute drive to work every day. And this morning, three of your dad's songs came randomly, not even because I was trying to play Cube. They just randomly came on as I was driving to work.

So it was dope. But I kind of I like to consider myself someone who's kind of cool. For as weird as that sound. But after the uh After the last game. Um Chicago won.

Dr. J is Chicago's coach. And if you know anything about me, or if you ever see me on the Rich Eisen show, you know, I've got this huge Dr. J poster behind my desk. He is, you know, your goats, LeBron.

Other people's goats are Jordan or, you know, Kobe. Not your goats, LeBron, but people's. We've got their own goats. But like, Dr. J is mine.

The time I was probably four years old, you know, so. You know, you made sure that he and I got to chop it up really quickly because he was busy. I didn't want to take up too much of his time because, yeah, you know, so I got a picture with Dr. J, and then, you know, we're in the back hanging out. And I turn and I look down the hall, and here comes your pops with an entourage.

And Ice Cube, the man I've grown up listening to, he sees me and he's like, hey, man, what's up? And at that moment, I was not cool. Because what do you say? It's ice, it's cube, right?

So I'm like, he tapped me up, and I was inside. I'm like, luckily, I don't, I don't think I see you can tell me really how I acted at that moment. But yo, I was, you know, I've only met your pops a few times, and each time I'm just like, ah, so yeah, that was cool. Just, and it still blows me away that Cube knows my name. He saw you and was like, hey, you know, because I didn't tell him he was coming.

So he was pleasantly surprised. He was like, hey, man. You know, I'll dance you up. Yeah, I was like, I think I said this was great. Congratulations.

Like I said, man, it's like, you know, I was not cool in that moment, folks. And I'm going to be, I'm going to admit that to you. I was not cool. But between, you know, I was still on the Dr. J thing, and then your pops came by.

So it was just like, uh, but yeah, so I just wanted to give Big Three a shout out, give you a shout out because if you guys don't know, My man here, my tag team partner for CBS, he is the sideline reporter.

So during breaks in the action, you know, they let's go down to OSHA. And so it was really cool to see you in that element, get to see you. Get to see you get to do that. Yeah. You know, and yeah.

So, yeah, you know, last year, Pops brought me on for. Two games, you know, two games. He was like, you know, I just want you, I want to kind of like liven it up a little bit on TV. And you know, you tell me that, that's all I need to hear. And so it was like, all right, I can just go.

And um yeah, apparently when we started this season CBS asked my dad, you know, would your son be willing to do some more games? Oh, work. And he was like, all right, yeah, which ones do you want him to do? Whatever ones he wants to do.

So I just be tagging along. And. This upcoming Sunday, we will be in the Chicago area.

So we will be in Chicago. Make sure you check us out. You know, look on big3.com/slash tickets for tickets. Yes. We are coming to Chicago this Sunday.

Dr. J being the coach of Chicago. It would be a nice home game for them. They are undefeated.

So, everybody in the Chicago area, your team is undefeated. All right. Y'all in first place. Like. Come support.

Come check us out. That's big3.com/slash tickets. We don't have a graphic because they didn't know I was going to do this. Yeah, but yeah.

So, again, seriously, if you get a chance, if you ever get a chance to go see big three, I'm assuming the tickets are reasonably priced. Oh, yeah. I ain't have to pay. We're a family. We're a family.

But that's the thing, bro. The kids were having a good time. And. Respectfully. Respectfully, the big three and the monster girls.

The monster girls? The month. Yeah, respectfully. If you get a chance, all I'm saying is go see the big three. By the way, Shay sitting here is brought to you by Monster Energy.

Monster Energy unleashed the beast.

So, yeah, so now we did that business, but like I said, I wanted to touch on that. But man, some also, some big stuff for us happened on Stephanie McMahon's podcast, Rich Isa. Rich Eisen is Richard Seth Isa. And if you get a chance, go check out Stephanie McMahon and Elisa's. What's your story?

What's your story with Rich? You know, O'Shea has been on as well, but Rich Eisen was on the, I think Punk is on the newest episode. Rich is on the one before that. The right before Punk. And if you guys just go take a look at that around the 48, 49-minute mark, Rich brings up how we started no contest wrestling and.

It was really humbling to hear the good, just amazing things he had to say about us. And then Stephanie McMahon had some cool stuff to say about you. And I like, I get it because she's met you.

So, but like, she said, TJ blows me away. And I was like, wait, what? Like, how does she even, you know, like get to know you, you know, sit in the room with you. You did it from afar. But like, Stephanie McMahon doesn't know me.

Of course, I've been aware of her for the last 30 years.

So when I heard that and the good things she said about me and you and this pod, it was just, it was, like I said, it was kind of humbling and it was really cool. And sometimes I admit this, sometimes I'll look at like maybe like a YouTube video and go, man, we should have more views than this. I don't understand why. But I realized something, man, like the right people know about us. Yeah.

You know what I'm saying? And so that kind of that, her saying that literally flipped my mindset. Because maybe not everybody knows yet, but the right people know now, and that's only going to help us go forward. But so, just thank you to Rich and Stephanie and Elise for. Having nice things to say.

Yeah, it felt nice. I sent it to my mom. But yeah, it's always good to have that. To be seen. You know, to like have The we know what type of dedication we put to our craft, you know, and If that's what you call it, because at the end of the day, we just wanted to have a platform where.

It felt like you're kicking it with some friends talking wrestling because that is what. We do. Like, that is what we were doing before we had a show. A lot of shows are. You know, we're not trying to sway your way of thinking.

Unless it's like it's not the end of the world. But other shows are, you know, it might be a. little aggressive on one side or or Want to be looming doom and tell you why the product is this, that, and the third. And you know, we just want to just talk about it, start a conversation, you know, have these superstars on here and let them feel like not only superstars, but homies. Yeah, and like that, I think, is what people resonate with us the most.

And to hear Rich. describe us so eloquently. It just felt like, oh yeah, we are doing that on purpose. Yep.

So, thank you, Rich. We appreciate you. You never take the compliments well, but man, we are very grateful for Rich. And for everybody who appreciates the pod, we read every comment. You know, we're not gonna act like we don't, and uh, yeah, we see you guys exactly.

We see you guys, we appreciate you guys, and we're gonna keep doing our thing as long as there is wrestling because that's the best thing about our job. All these other podcasts they got off seasons, right? We here. every week yeah except for last week except for shout out 51 okay 51 out of okay but uh yeah man so uh that that was really cool and um like i said the right people know about us yeah so that that's pretty dope yeah the left people will find out later and now in into i guess the the biggest wrestling news you know last time we talked sami zayn was uh the undisputed wwe champion and we were making statements we blinked we were making claims that like hey man don't take it away from him so quick let him have a chance to defend it let's let's you know have some good wrestling matches and then unfortunately oh damn yeah i didn't know you was gonna throw the static at him static you know um Next thing you know, in Chicago. Chicago we have and new because CM Punk?

Look at him. Defeated Sami Zayn, and he is now an animal. He is now the new undisputed WWE champion. And that was a really good match, by the way. Yeah.

I think in between people either being happy or being mad about Sammy's reign. What got lost in the fact that that was uh I fairly enjoyed that match. Yeah. I think Mick Foley held it for five days one time or something crazy like that. I think what I understand, Mick Foley had three title reigns, right?

Yeah. I think they totaled 39 days, if I'm not mistaken.

So, you know, it happens, right? It happens. No one's, but nobody, and I could be wrong, but no one's questioning the length, but they do remember. You know, they remember the Tony Schiavone comment about that'll put butts in seats and then everyone turning the channel to watch Mick. You don't remember how long he held it.

You just remember what happened when he won in that legendary pop. You know, yeah, Sammy held the belt. He got it three times. Three times. Sammy had it for nine days, but you know what?

Roddy Piper never held that belt. Ricky Steamboat never held that belt. Rick Rue never held that belt. Jake Roberts never held that belt. He probably deserved to, for sure, for sure.

Ken Patera never held that belt. You know, Junk Yard Dog never held that belt. Yeah. So Owen Hart never held that belt.

So, yeah, the nine days, it was short. But like we said, it's on his resume. Yeah, man.

I mean, from what I saw. He took a lot of pictures. He did the most with it, right? Yeah, as he should. He did the most with it.

As he should. And it's CM Punk. Like, when people started to. Put together the last thing he said to Cody, which was, I'm gonna stay ready. Because you never know when a championship opportunity is Gotta fall out the sky.

And we were all like, what does that mean? Yeah, what the hell? The hell could he mean by that? Get your Chicago ass out of here. And then all of a sudden, we come back in Chicago.

And that was the thing. Cody gets jumped. Hold on, because even before that. We was like. Why the hell are we defending the SmackDown belt on Raw?

Right. It's like something didn't add up. Hey, man, it was Raw's in Chicago. I should have told us right there. Because Raw's in Chicago.

Hmm. Oh, should have like that math should have mapped right there.

So, as an episode starts, you know, you have Sammy and Cody kind of squaring up. Yeah, Gunther comes in, just you know, bum rushes Cody, puts him out.

Now, Cody can't go. Instant earblood, yeah, right. Cody can't go. Sammy's like, All right, well, I'm gonna head, I'm gonna go back to SmackDown. We'll figure out here, and they're like, Nope.

You got it, which I don't know. I don't know. But he promised Chicago a match. Why Pierce should be able to do that to Sammy? That's not his champion.

But anyway. We kind of knew at that moment, right? He kind of had to understand what was going to happen. Come on, dog. And then, you know, the elephant door is lifted up.

And there he was. I was like, here he goes. Craig Montgomery punk thing. Thinking he's Michael Jackson at the Super Bowl. With this pose.

And it was such a like, he can't lose right now. Are you crazy? Not just. The way that he, man. And also, I love that they always pull the.

You know, he lives right by the arena. Like, he's just really at the crib, like, oh, man, let me get up. That is like my 10-minute drive to work. Yeah, like, oh man, they need some money. Baby, I'm about to be, I'm going to work.

Hold up a second, AJ. Yeah, like, man. But yeah, man, Punk, you know, he shows up, the elevator, the elephant door lifts, and then, you know, people lose their mind. And then. The music hits and he comes out and he does his thing and Put Sami Zayn, hits him with the GTS one, two, three, and for the eighth time.

CML is the world champion. And it's crazy because he's held. Both World championships in WWE this year, yeah, which is pretty amazing. First one ever to do, first one so. You know, and then um We find out he and Cody now, the following week.

You know, Cody stepped up. He said, When I was champion, I told you just say when. And Punk was like, When? When? That was dope.

So now we're getting those two championship match at SummerSlam in Minneapolis, Minnesota. But you just got to wonder how Cody, how was he? No. No beef on Cody because you know we're fans. But how'd you just get to jump?

You weren't the champion. Yeah, dog.

So, how'd you just get to jump over Sammy and Gunther? Yeah, the people who just like, come on, bro. To get yourself a championship match. That's kind of wild. I can understand why Sammy was crashing out.

I can understand why Gunther is, you know, justifiably upset. Cody saw Seth. Come out and tell Roman, you know, people have been dying to see this, you know, it's got to happen. And said, aha, aha. I'm going to do just that.

Play off that nostalgia a little bit. Nostalgia is the most powerful drug in the world. It's good, man. That's some good dope.

Well, I hear crack is good, but I wasn't. I hear, hold on. Why was I watching Random Tangent? By the way, people said that they love our random side combo. I was watching this pod.

I forget the name of it, but I'm actually. I was watching it because I'm about to go on it in a month or so to promote idiots in theaters, August 28th. Check it out. But yeah, it's like this pod where. People call into a number, they drop a confession.

And then they dip. Like, they don't wait for you to answer them or nothing. They just drop the confession and then they tune in to see what you're going to say. This girl said, she said, yeah, like. I was with my ex, and you know, he told me that he like needed some closure.

And so, you know, I got in his car and. You know, where he starts driving me into the middle of this, into this middle of this field, like far from town, in the middle of a field. Locks the doors. Pulls out a pipe and goes listen. Listen.

You gonna smoke this crap? Yeah. Sorry. What? You're going to smoke this crack or I'm not taking you back to town.

And then she hung up the phone. What? No, she's in the car. You said they dropped a confession in the hand? Yeah, no, yeah.

Oh, yeah, no, no. She's still, this is her whole confession. And he pulls out a pipe and goes, You're gonna smoke this crack. Or I'm not taking you back to town. What?

She then? Smokes the crack. This is a crazy conversation. She smokes the crack. And like, they start like having a talk.

But then she's like, my friend called me, and like, he could tell that I was a little off, like, something was weird. And so, like, I gave the phone to my ex, and he finally convinced him to drive me back to town. He drives me back to town. And then, uh, Yeah, right before I get off the car, he goes.

Well, do you still want to go get tattoos? Because we were supposed to go get tattoos 'cause it was Friday the thirteenth. And then she said, Then I was like, Yeah, I do want to get the tattoo.

So, like, I got back in the car and then we went to go get tattoos. And so, like, I got Rick from Rick and Morty on my arm. And every time I look at it, I think, That's the day I smoked crack. And that was the story. That was it.

People, she's got to get her crap confession off. Crack. How about that, Folks?

Sometimes you don't need to share everything. You know what I mean? Like, some things are better left on the same. What type of gusto do you got to have to be like, hey. You gonna smoke this crack?

Okay. Let me tell you something about me you might not know Joe Rogan I smoke rock. I saw him sleep in my car, high off crack. That's impossible, Rhonda. Why could you be sleep and be high on crack?

Sorry, guys. Random tangent shots. Random tangent. Yes, sir. But yeah, so Cody saw that.

Cody saw that Seth promo and was like, oh, I could run that. I could run that on punk. Ran it on punk. And now we're getting two little dream matches. Yeah.

Two dream matches for SummerSlam. And somebody's going to have a nightmare. Uh-huh. But yeah, we'll see who we'll see next level. I think both should retain.

I mean, the pros probably will reach. Yeah, they should.

So, yeah, so we're getting Seth Rollins against Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. We're getting Cody Rhodes against CM Punk for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Both should retain. I got to be honest, man, I'm so looking forward to both of these matches. I can't front.

You and I have decided we are going to be in the house. We're going. You know, Seth. As the last time we were here, I told everybody he was. Guest hosting the Rich Hisen show the very next day on Thursday.

I told him, bro, if I got to like. Like hiding myself underneath your bus. Yeah, and take the ride. I'm being in Minnesota. Yeah, bro, we gotta go, dog.

It's like. I know it's Vikings colors, but everything's Laker colors. Like, I gotta go. You would think so. I gotta go.

You would think so. Fest Pool. That's the name of the pod. Festpool? Fest.

Fest. Like Confession. Fest. Okay. Festpool.

Yeah, man.

Shout out to Arasha. But, yeah, dude. I gotta go to that summer slam. I don't think I've ever been to a summer slam. And that's my favorite PLE.

It's weird because remember SummerSlam for about in the mid ought snow the the Early I can see it. The mid osprey from like 2008 to maybe like 11 there was a a period where like SummerSlam was only in Los Angeles. Bro.

So, how did you not go to any of those? I don't know, man. I think I was probably going through my. Weird phrase. You know, it was a weird time in wrestling where I was like.

I don't like nobody here. You know, it was like a couple of standouts, but it wasn't like my. My religion, like how it used to be back, you know, and I was such a big rock guy, rock wasn't around. You know, Brock took his time off. But yeah, around that's crazy that it was just here all the time.

No, there's no way it went five years and I didn't go to a Summer Slim. I'm looking at it.

So Summer Slim's been held in Los Angeles a total of six times. All of these events took place at Staples Center 2009, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. Yeah. All of them were at Staples. Yep.

There's no way I missed one. There's no way.

So I actually had to have been at a SummerSlam. Especially because I was in college. Yeah, there's like no way you didn't. No, there's no way.

So I'll take that back. I've definitely been to a SummerSlam. I just didn't take pictures. But yeah, I'm excited for this one. I love in my adult age that I could just like get on a plane whenever I want and go without money.

Yeah, you know, just like, oh, where's wrestling? I want to go. What a time to be alive.

So I just, you know, I'm just looking at my phone now. I'm just trying to, because we didn't plan on talking about this, so I'm jogging my memory. Yeah, 2009, I was there, took place at Staples Center. Uh Rey Mysterio Defeated Dolph Ziggler for the IC title, MVP, wrestled Jack Swagger. Jericho.

Remember Jericho is the tag team champion versus crime time for the unified tag team championship. Jericho Weston Peace. Shout out to Shad. Kane versus the great Khali. DX faced legacy in the tag team match.

You know, let's talk about Khali. Let me finish this real quick. Christian was the ECW champion and he defeated Roy Reginald. This is this time. Randall K was the champion.

He defeated the WWE champion. He defeated Cena. And then CM Punk defeated Jeff Hardy for the world title and the TLC match. And I remember that specifically because Punk won, the lights went dark. He's standing over Hardy.

And then the lights came back on. And the Undertaker is now right where Hardy was. I watched this on TV.

So I remember because this is when I hated CM Punk.

So, yeah, I was in the building for a while. I could not, bro. When I like, it's so, God is hilarious. Like, he has the funniest jokes. Because when I say I hated punk, bro.

Because you were a hearty guy, right? And, like, Jeff is not supposed to be winning these world titles.

So, when I see him winning it, who is always there? Sam Punk. It seemed like CM Punk Just had a vendetta against Jeff Hardy holding a title. And, like, man, I couldn't stand punk forever. And then when.

Rock finally came back, it was like a oh, thank goodness. But now that's my buddy, yeah, that's my dude. Text them right now. I bet you won't. Talk to me like that.

I'm just saying.

So, yeah, so we're getting two world championship matches. And then, of course, you know, what's probably going to kick off either night one or night two, because you know he doesn't wrestle in the middle of the card at the end of the card. We're going to get a hell in the cell. Between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi and You know, Oba's lucky he didn't go to jail. Uh, this past Monday because he beat up, like, you know, it's kind of like Eddie Murphy in trading places when he's in the jail cell.

He's like, not cop, man, cops, six, seven cops, beat up. Because that is what Oba did.

Now we come to find out at the end of the show that those weren't really cops, it was just uh People pretend to be cops at Paul James. And I hate that Paul James was trying to play mind games. Pierce was like, by the way, It's not real. It's all mind game. See, I take the flip side of that.

Okay. Because I'm glad he said it. Because the whole episode, I'm sitting there going, Oba's going to jail. Tonight. He's sold in cops.

He got to go to jail and I don't like it.

So I don't got to go to jail for Oba to go to jail. Maybe Pierce. Then I was like, well, maybe Pierce will grease some palms. But no, we find out they weren't real cops. No, they weren't real cops.

They were pretend cops. And if you know anything about wrestling and situations and storylines and. you know segments like that where they use fake security or fake cops. There's always going to be one of those guys who's going to turn out to be like an IC champion or a world champion.

So, one of those six dudes that nobody just pizza tossed out the ring, one of you guys is going to hold gold in WWE at some point in your career. And you got that going for you, which is also. I want them jailed. It is illegal to impersonate a police officer. You know what?

I'd never even thought about it. I want their asses under the jail. All right. A crime is a crime. That is a good.

You know what, Shea Jackson? That's a very good point. You can't do that. I ain't playing. You can't impersonate a police officer.

No, no, I'm. You're the GD law. All right. Yeah, I'm not playing, bro. I watch, uh I watch Law and Order.

These are their stories. I watch that. Doink, doink. Doink, doink. I watched Perry Mason with my grandpa back in the day, and I'm pretty sure.

Well, nah, that wasn't, they didn't have a game. Ain't that a football player? Pete. Might have been. Perry Mason?

No, he was a lawyer T V lawyer though. Probably thinking about the uh The refrigerator.

Well, it's Roy Perry. Yeah, that's what it was. That's what it was. But yeah, you know, Oba, Oba, Pizza Toss, six cops out the ring. And he threw the hell out there.

And then he was basically like, who is who are you? It's not the beast I know. Sucker? Yeah. Yo, B-A-N?

Yeah. Yeah. You used to run this place. Don't say it. Yeah.

He's like, that's the beat. I keep doing all this. Running. Sucker ass. Yeah.

Used to be the Don Juan.

Now your name is just... Twan. Come on now. And you know what? I know we keep saying we're not going to get flagged for that.

No, no, no, no. I'll talk to my mom. Thank you. But yeah, Brock Lesnar. Loves Oba.

This is like, I think we're all, we kind of knew this early on, right? We keep smiling at it. It's so evident now. You know, like, where your mean face? All you're doing is just like.

That Brock. I think picked his successor, and he's very happy with his choice. Yeah, but you know what I mean?

So hell in the cell. Brock Oba. I wanna say I'm going to say it. I think this really is it for Brock Lesnar. Yeah, game set, man.

I think this is it. I think, you know, the WrestleMania thing was obviously a decoy. You know, and I got to give Stephen Amel a shout out on that because at WrestleMania, while you and I were going, Brock is done. Stephen Amel was like, I don't know if I believe it. I'm like, what do you mean you don't believe it?

I don't care. That really happened. All right. He took his gloves off and his boots were up. You were why.

And by the way, Baywatch is coming back. Stephen Amel is playing the David Hashoff role. He's going to be a guest on No Contest right around the time before Baywatch comes out.

So we'll get to talk about Baywatch with him. And also, you know, he's been in the ring. He's done, you know, he and Punk worked together on his Netflix series Heels.

So he's also mixed it up with Cody.

So, yeah, we're going to have him on. at some point. But yeah, I do believe this is it. You know. Unfortunately, or not, there's something about Brock Lesnar.

Whether you're a fan or not, there's the aura that you just can't replicate with. Many people on the planet Earth, right?

So I Yeah, I think this is based upon things I've heard and I guess my own personal beliefs, I think this is probably going to be it. Duh, just because I thought the person I thought I heard my phone ring, I thought Punk was calling. I was like, ooh, I got real excited for a second. I sent him a voice memo while I was watching Raw, and I was like, dude, are you. Are you at Raw?

Is this about to be you? He texts me after the show and goes Best in the world. Yeah. You're a monster. He is.

What is your opinion? Of course, after he wins, he's in the ring and he looks at the camera. He's like, tells AJ, I'll be home in 20 minutes. No, you're not. You got photos.

No, you're not. You're about to, boy. I mean, I know it's it's gotta be, especially 'cause he's had eight. But like winning a title in your hometown, it's like I'm gonna sit with this a little bit, you know, a little bit. And let's give him a shout-out, man.

The physical transformation punk's gone over. He's put on, I'd say, what, a solid 10? Pounds of muscle, maybe 15. He comes out looking brawlic. Yeah, he's solid.

You know, so um, it's the lighting, but I think also it was good for him too, Shay, you know, because he went a solid, even though he's been back like three, four years now, he went a solid 10 years with having to put bump. You know, they always say, we always hear wrestlers say, You get so many bumps on your car. He got to go a full decade without putting his body through that.

So, yeah, he's a little bit older now. But he doesn't have that wear and tear. Yeah, he doesn't have the wear and tear that he would have had.

So. at the big three I interviewed Julius Irvin and Gary Payton together. I saw you. And I asked them, I was like, all right, so you both, you know, you guys are. part of the fifty greatest players, you know.

And you guys were stars of your respective teams. You guys have taken over a lot of games.

Now that you know, they always talk about star players can't be coaches. Yeah. And so, as coaches, do you guys ever like get the itch or just like, man, I wish I could just show them? You know what I'm trying to tell them. Yeah, yeah.

I said, hell no. Dr. J said, listen, I'm glad I don't got to do all that running no more, man. He said, I used to watch games. And I used to get, my palms used to start sweating because I wanna, you know, I just want the ball.

I just wanna, you know. And once that sweating stopped while I was watching basketball, I knew. My time is up. Punk was able to take 10 years away. 10 years off.

Resting, maybe in a hot tub here and there. I don't know what they do in Chicago. It's cold, you know? But the dude is feeling great. The best he's felt in who knows how long.

And he out here yoking up. Everybody online want to say that he looked. Uh uh like he was just about to come in as some tank. I texted him. I was like, bro, what's going on, man?

You changed your regimen? What's happening? He was like, no, dude, it was just after a pump. They took a picture of me. After I had just finished working out, every muscle in the world looks huge after that.

And yeah, I just didn't want to tell his business because I just let the internet think what they want to think sometimes. But yeah, the dude is looking great. He's went right after the match, he went and did a workout with, I think he was with Chad Gable in the trainer. Yeah, undisputed champion. And I think.

People need to see him as undisputed champ for a minute. Yeah, I don't, I mean, respect to Cody. I don't feel I don't feel like this punk reign is going to last. Not punks rain. You see it getting rain.

You think rain. I don't think this punk rain is going to end anytime soon, is what I'm saying. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe definitely not August 1st. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if this carries over maybe into Mania this year. But yeah, looking forward to it.

Seth Roman. Punk. Cody. Also, on the other side, on AEW, we got a new world's champion, man. Kenny Omega defeated MJF in a hell of a match.

And now he's going to be. From what we can understand, what it looks like right now, he's going to be headlining all in and Wembley against Bruv Will Ospreay. And let me tell you something: that's going to be a banger of a match, bro. Can I just say this? Because When Sammy won Mm-hmm.

Everybody kept throwing that word, transition. Yeah. Can we talk about MJF a little bit? Let's do it. Like.

Dude, I feel like they just have been giving it to him. To give to somebody else for a little bit. And then they give it back to him, give it somebody like, it's just, that dude is probably the best transitional champion in the game right now. The way that they market him, I love me some MJF. I've had, you know, small conversation with the man before.

But I was just like, huh. Why did you take it off? I would have loved to see Darby end. Can he go at it? That wouldn't have been bad.

But then like you need you need when you got An ultimate good guy like Kenny, you need an ultimate bad guy like MJF. As you know, managing maintenance, repair, and operations is never easy. I'm not sure. Yeah, you know, um, I'm gonna keep it real with you, man. Give it a box. Um. I don't necessarily have inside sources.

But I know someone who told me it's always the dude with inside sources that say something like that. I really don't. But. I do have someone who I know who's very much in the know in AEW and. Around WrestleMania weekend, I was having a conversation with this person.

I'm not going to say who, obviously. And I kept my word to not say anything. I love that about you. But he basically... Told me Back in April.

The next four or five moves that we're going to go on with AEW in regards to Darby and MJF and Kenny and Will. And I'm going to be honest with you, I didn't mention any of it because of being a man of my word, I'm like, I'm not going to say this, but. Almost everything that he told me was gonna happen. Has happened.

So every title match, every title change, every move that's gone on. Has not really been surprising because I was told, like, this is the way they're gonna go with it. I can't say we, because he doesn't necessarily work for them. But yeah, so I kind of knew, and I kept my mouth shut for the most part, but I did. When Dynamite started that day, I just simply from our account wrote, Kenny is winning the title tonight.

And it was just like, people looked at it as like just, you know, me shooting the shutter guest, but it turned out that's what I was told. I didn't say anything for the longest time, and I knew that not that many, for some reason, our Twitter doesn't get, the show Twitter doesn't get as much engagement as your individual Twitter.

So I knew not many people wouldn't see it anyway. But yeah, Kenny Omega got the win over MJF, and now he's going to be. presumably headlining this all in you never know because look If you want to give me MJF and Osprey and Omega and a triple threat? Uh Take the money. Oh, yeah.

Take the money. Imaginary or real. Right? Like, if you want to make it a triple threat, I'm watching. If you don't want to make it a triple threat, I'm still going to watch.

But Omega and Osprey is going to be a match for the ages. Is that a. Do you look at that as a a a torch passing moment possibly? Depends. You know, it's like because why put the belt on Kenny O'Maye?

She's gone. If you're gonna, but we've been seeing it in both companies. We hate the transitional word, but we hate the short reign, but AW is giving you a short one. WWE is giving you a short one. Yeah, man, I'm still tripping off of like.

It just felt like ever since Swerve lost the title, I've It's been kind of quick little reigns. Everybody's had a kind of a quick little reign.

So MJF had a long reign, but that was his first reign years ago. Yeah, 'cause I remember just being so upset when Sword lost. I was so upset. And every title after that, I've been like. Oh, why do we have to take it off swear?

Well, why do we have, but like, it's just how they do things over there. You know, it makes you have to watch. Yeah. You know, Samoa Joe, that was the most, that was another one when that was kind of a quick one. That was kind of a quick one, yeah.

And so it's just like, you always got to be paying attention over there, and you got to respect them for it because, like, keeps you on your toes as an audience. Yeah, and also, you're going to get one of the best matches that they've had on a, on a, I don't want to say a random dynamite, but on a dynamite, a Wednesday show. Like, not a pay pay-per-view for them. Yeah, that that does kind of make you want to make sure you don't miss a any AEW action because it could happen anytime. Ain't nobody safe.

Yeah, no t no title safe. You know, we speaking of title, we have a new TBS. uh women's champion that is she's um And Sheeta, man, I... Three times, I think she was the women's champion. She's just, I love her.

I think she's great. Me and my sister call that the hose belt. And it's not because it's the women's belt. But, like, sometimes when you look at the TBS logo, it looks like it says HOS. I've never thought about that.

I'll show you a pic. But, like, Green was like, Does this say hose? I was like, No, this is TBS. She goes, Oh. Yeah, so they might not, they might want to rethink that.

Yeah, yeah, switch this up a little bit. Put some capital letters in here. Also, got to give a shout out to my girl Tecla. She did, uh, she was on commentary or gauntlet match. That is your girl, Tecla.

She is just phenomenal. Yeah, she's incredible. She made you make that noise just now. She said, and she's so, she's like, she's like Roxanne to me. They're both little and mean.

Yeah. Yeah. Little and mean. What's that? It was the moment uh It was on Raw.

Roxanne and Eo? Yeah. That was a. I put Roxanne versus EO, Don't Disturb Me.

Okay, it was some moments where I was like, Peter. Are y'all mad at each other? Hold on. Yeah. Like, bro, there was a couple of hits where, like, because, like, the thing is, with EO and Asuka, you got to be on your toes because, like, they might just go for it.

Well, because they, the way they learned how to wrestle their Joshi for sure. Yeah, bro.

Okay. And Roxanne might like that type stuff because, like, it looked a little, it was a couple of bumps where I was like, ooh, yeah. A little rough. And also, shout out to zebra cake.

So Ruka. Getting thrown into that wall. Let's talk about the fact that Raquel Carter. Hi, Raquel. Catches her the way she caught her.

Yeah. All back. Stirting herself. Yeah. And then blasted, and then lifted her up.

And a power bomb type move, and then busting her into the apron. Yo. Can we check on Seoul? Right. And no one did.

Michael Coles is like, yeah, somebody needs to look at Soul. Like, you're right there, Michael Cole. Get your ass up. But you know what? There's some predictability.

Somebody on Twitter literally wrote the. Word for word, bar for bar. I think a day before or a couple hours before, what was going to happen? You're like, EO and Roxanne are going to wrestle, and then the Judgment Day is going to come in, and they're going to, and Saul's going to come on number, but they're going to be three on two. And then the Judgment Day is going to stand tall without anything done to them.

And somebody tweeted this out, and that's exactly how it happened. EO, you know. We're waiting on Vicara, honestly. Waiting over Kara, waiting on Rhea, but like Rhea's watching Jack Swagger get knocked out at slap box, and I don't know when she's coming back. Stephanie, where is Stephanie?

We miss her. Poor Eo.

Now, Sol does have her back, which is good, but the number of people. By the way, that was a Jack Swagger stray brought to you by the No Contest. Chip 12. He used to have his theme song used to be hard. It was kind of hard.

Kind of hard. Chip one two. Oh, yeah. Did he do the push-ups? I would never do power slap.

Oh, no. That's just because you're an athlete or not. Why? Why would you? Yeah, like, like, what's the benefit of letting somebody just slap the lips off your face?

Yeah. Yeah. Nah, man. Nah, me. Nah, Canada.

Not Osha Jackson Jr. But yeah, so EO, I don't like, you know, I don't like when EO gets, you know, beat down like that. But, you know, we're going to get her and live at SummerSlam and. We gotta do something with Rock Hill, man. Uh Roxanne is fine.

People keep talking about Roxanne losing. Rock. I've said this how many times. Roxanne is going to be fine. Yeah, the prodigy.

Yeah. She, yeah, she's taking some L's. Don't worry about her. She's gonna be okay. Just like some former rapper said and get them to the Greek about owning.

Cookaroos. Did he? He did. I'm going to be okay. Roxanne's going to be okay.

Shout out to Cuckoo. Raquel's just too big, too strong. After what I saw her do the soul, we got to do something with. You know how we feel about the hard artists here. That's fun to say.

Yeah, man.

There's something. Or we did Punk, Sammy, and Cody. Did Roman Seth. Yeah, but we didn't do Roman stuff For real.

Well, we're not, we didn't get to that point yet. We're not going to get it. Right, right, right, right. I'm just trying to map it out because. I can't wait till we get to that part.

Well, let's get to that part. Y'all wanna see a dead body? I've never seen I ain't never seen. Don't say you ain't never seen it because I ain't never seen it. I'm going to give you multiple instances.

When has Seth looked like Seth?

Okay, I thought you just met in wrestling. No, no, no, man. Seth. Seth pulled the sympathy card. And his rebuttal.

I was like. That's nice, yeah. You ain't getting no sympathy from, especially from people who remember the shield. Like, I look in the mirror every day, and I don't. Mm-hmm.

You went the sympathy route right now. You're the one that broke him up. I like, you know. Roman When he said You know how you know you, number two. Because after all these years.

He still needs a money in the bank to win the championship. When I tell you, I screamed so loud that the dog thought something was wrong. Like, bro, I was wrong. Are we really doing this right now? And you know another thing.

Your daddy Triple H basically runs this place. Hey boy, they tried. Boy, did they try. They basically Gave you all my stuff. I took that as, like, remember, I used to call the vision bloodline light.

And I'm like. Like Roman, this feels a little personal. I don't remember writing that. Like, you know, it just felt like a little, he had the crowd in the palm of his hand. You're the bad guy.

Yeah. You're the bad guy right now. He had him like that, I was like. I don't know if I remember. I don't know if I remember Seth looking like this.

Next week. Seth gotta bring a. I want a hammer. I know he went home and got the composition notebook out. He better have.

Boy. Because as someone who loves the trash talk, there were some lines that I came up with, and I told you before I'm not going to say them because some of them ain't really that cool. But there were definitely things he could have said back about like you winning the title and you getting hurt. One of the things would have been like, yeah, you get hurt when you actually show up to work to wrestle. He didn't say that.

You know, there's, you know, both of their bodies have betrayed them in one way or another. He didn't say that. You know, like, so. There are definitely comebacks that he could have. Like, I'll give Roman the dub on that little thing.

Money in the bang line is cold. The fact also. That you know what Seth has in his back pocket though. What he Is that suffering suckatash? Suffering, listen at some point.

He's got to pull that out. Because you're getting, you were getting, you know, it's late rounds and he was getting worked. And he, there was a haymaker he had. And it's like, bro, if you were ever going to power up, you should pull that out now. And he didn't.

So. Suffering succotash, dog food, blue contact. For a lot of you know, declaring myself for the rural romance, like there's a lot of ways, and I think also just give a shout out to Roman because it just shows how far he has come on the mic and how much better he's gotten. Yeah, and you know, and that's not just recently, that's been for the last few years. But at the beginning, like Seth said, it was kind of rough, it was kind of rough, but that's what when you're following.

The guidelines that they laid for you compared to when you could just be yourself. How many superstars have we heard tell us that? Of just like, you know, when I s when I just Started to be me. Yeah, I found it. And when you, I know Stone Cold has always been that good, you know.

I mean, you remember there's stories of like writers giving punk promos and them taking the paper and be like, all right, cool. Yeah, I ain't got what I'm gonna do with that. Yeah. But Shay, that's something else. You know, you talked about MJF and how much of a fan you are of him.

And we all know MGF is one of the best. He'll tell you he's the best on the mic. Yeah, if you don't think he's the best on the mic, just ask him. Yeah. But the thing is, he also has kind of carte blanche to say whatever he wants in a way that the guys in the WWE can't necessarily say which one.

Because I remember there was one episode of Dynamite about three weeks ago. I meant to talk to you about this, where MGF cursed twice. And I believe it was either then Roosh came out. Remember Roos is a guy who I said I don't know if people have fully let Roosh know that Bro, you don't have to actually murk somebody. Yeah, yeah.

Bruce goes 195 years. Yeah. And Bruce swore and they bleeped him out. They bleeped it. And then Tony Shivani apologized for it.

And I was like, well, that's kind of weird to me because MJF said, and you know, I don't like the curse on here, but it's the S-word. He said it twice with nothing. And Roost did it. They bleeped them. And Tony.

So it's like, you know, Max does have a leash where he is able to go a little further and creative cuffs. Right. A lot of people, he's able to go further than. Because you mean to tell me, like, The Miz couldn't if he wanted to? Like, there's a lot of guys.

LA Knight, they could, but they're constrained, right? Oh, I saw just you said The Miz. I saw a couple of his fights with Coral on Real World. Oh, yeah. Yeah, well, we lucky he survived.

Yo, Coral got into Miz's butt back in the day as hell. But yeah, man, so looking forward to those battles. But like I said, that's one thing, kind of AW, I think they get, like I said, they get a little bit more of a lease in the WWE guys going. It'd be interesting. People always go, MJF should go to WWE.

I don't know what they won't be saying. Definitely would not be able to say some of the things that he said. But that's why. We're glad we have options. People, all you.

I only like this, like that. Nah, man, like AEW, like that. WWE, T-N-A, R-O-H, you know, like it all. Triple A. CMLL, New Japan.

I'm here for all of it. Yeah. So you can't have a restaurant sell every type of dish. Because then you get the Cheesecake Factory. There you go, and you know, it's funny.

You said that I went to Cheesecake two weeks ago. I spent 14 minutes looking at the menu because I could not figure out. And I ended up getting some. I'm not lying. Raider came three times.

I was like, I'm right. I'm overwhelmed, dog.

So I just ended up getting some salmon. It was delicious. Right. It was delicious, but still, I don't think I wanted salmon. You got a taste for Mexican, Chinese, and continental all of a sudden.

I don't know, man. But yeah, looking forward to Friday. We got Friday. Punk will be on SmackDown again. We'll see the continuation of this.

Tonight, we have AEW. We'll see where they're going this story. I will be watching that on the plane. Yeah, going to be some good times to it's a good time to be a wrestling fan, man. And speaking of the plane, you're leaving in about an hour to go to New York for Fnatics Fest.

Now, if you guys know last year, we were asked to come to Fnatics Fest. We had interviewed Rey Mysterio Jr. It was an amazing event, amazing time. We did not get invited back this year for whatever reason. Possible racism?

No one's saying that? I can't lie. I'm a little bummed. I'm a lot of bummed. I'm a lot bummed.

And I came to the realization about six weeks ago. I was like, I don't think we're going to get invited. Back for whatever reason.

So I'm not going, but you are going.

So why don't you let them know what you're going to do? I. Don't know if I could tell you. Oh, it's when it predicts it, but I will be there. I will be there.

It is a, I've been invited as a guest. How about that? Yeah. Can't quite give too much. I think it's going to be happening tomorrow or Friday.

But yeah, I'll be there. I am going to be using my guest pass aggressively, and I will be rubbing elbows to make sure that NCW stays your favorite. Wrestling podcast in the world and possibly becomes Mickey Mouse's favorite eventually. But we will be in Fanatics Fest represented, but we won't have a show there. I hate that.

I never want to feel this again. I will do everything in my power to make sure that there is no damn wrestling show that doesn't have NCW at least mentioned. Because I will be damned, TJ Jefferson. Because we put a lot of work into this and We some cool MFers, yeah. Like, you know, when we started the pod, like when we announced in 2024 on the Rich Hisen show, what was the one of the first things I said was like, you know, we want to be at Fanatics, and then we got it in our first year.

So, yeah, it kind of bums me out. But I hope everyone that goes enjoys themselves and has a great week. Cody interviewing Tom Brady. Tom Brady, yeah.

So check that out. That shit pissed me off. I was like, damn, that's cool. That is really cool.

So I want to see.

So enjoy that. Maybe you'll be able to catch them there. And I know you're going to represent, so I'm not worried. Oh, yeah. Oh, I'm thuggers, boogers, bro.

I will also be at Saturday Night's Main Event. Yeah, you're going to check that out. And I know there's going to be some head honchos there.

So, you know, I'll be out there. Shaking ass. Kissing or shaking hands and kissing babies. Am I? Did I have a stroke?

Did you hear that? There was a beep in the back.

Okay. Thank God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. There was something beeping in the bag.

I got so scared. You did. Did I hear that? About tripping, but yeah.

So, like I said, great time to be a wrestling fan. And so, yeah, Shay, I found this list on Reddit, you know, and it was basically a list of, you know, who is the greatest blank? Who is your favorite blank? Pick a blank. And I thought this would be something cool for us to do, especially today, so we don't have a guest.

So, to make it a little less confusing, we're just going to jump in this and we're going to start it off with greatest male wrestler of all time.

Now, I'll go first. This was a tough one, man, because there's been a lot of great male wrestlers, let's be honest. But when I really break it down, and if I have to say who's the greatest, I have to take a look at a few things, I have to take a look at longevity. Impact on the business.

Okay. And also, you know, the things that make a wrestler great, you know, like you have to have a package, you got to be able to talk, you got to be able to wrestle, right? But you also got to have some fly gear, right? And you got to have something about you that resonates outside of wrestling. And so when I Put that all together and I put it all in a big ass grab bag and I reached around.

The name I pulled out is the nature boy Ric Flair. I feel he checks every single box that there is, you know. There's rap songs about Ric Flair. There's, you know, when you think about the woo, the chop, you know, the wardrobe with the not only just the suits and the gators, then we're talking the robes, the limousines, you know, the private jets, the diamond rings, you know, the ladies a mile long just waiting to go woo. When you take all of that stuff over almost a 50-year career, I think he's deserved that accolade.

So that's why Ric Flair is my greatest wrestler of all time.

Now You know, this everybody knows I'm a Roman guy. Everybody knows I love me some some DJ. Shout out Dwayne.

So Dwayne. Um And yeah, some of the things you were speaking on, like the impact and everything. Like, I was thinking about Stone Cold and, you know, how Stone Cold really. I really feel like he beat somebody ass. You know, like it's ring, yeah, yeah.

So, I need some of that too, and then I start thinking about in-ring ability. Who's somebody who I know can like not only take care of you on the ground but. If he wanted to, he could jump off some stuff too and really get it cracking. And when I started putting all that together, I got Kurt Angle. I think Kurt Angle is.

The greatest. And you know that I I I came to this Conclusion recently, fairly recently, where I hit you and I was like, bro, like, I'm looking at his stuff and like. The dude's got it all. The dude has it all. And He's an Olympic gold medalist.

He won a gold medal in the Olympics. With what? With a broken freaking neck. Come on now. All right, so I mean.

Greatest male wrestler of all time. I feel safe. Insane Kurt Angle. I have no problem with that. I remember months ago when you texted me that, I just wrote back, yeah.

You get no argument out of me. You know, like he does everything, he checks every box. I think if. Kurt, you know, had a longer career. Maybe I would have put him over Rick.

Um, but yeah, Kurt Angled again, someone who checks every single box. And if uh, work turns into a shoot, you're gonna be all right. Kurt will beat your hell.

So, on the flip side, let's turn to the ladies, let's turn to the ladies and uh. The question is: Who's the greatest female wrestler of all time? And I'd give you like a long, drawn-out description and stuff, but I've already said this. A couple dozen times on this show.

So nothing's going to change. When you talk about presentation, remember that that's important. A look, believability. When you In ring talent, high flyer, a striker. She could do it all.

You already know my answer is Asuka, right? I've said this a hundred times before. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah, but Asuka is to me the greatest female wrestler. She's my favorite.

And yeah, I've already. You know, I've already banged the drum for her so many times. You already knew what the answer was going to be. That was one of the moments where, in our friendship, When her and Kyrie were walking by, I was like, oh, I gotta make this happen for my little guy. Let me throw myself in front of them.

Hey, how are you doing? And then, like, you had your moment with Asuka, and that was one of the most. Tell them what I did. He he bowed at her feet. Got all my names.

Full respect. Full respect in Japan. I bent the knee, man. Yeah, but both. Both of them.

I was on both knees doing We Are Not Worthy. And she was like, oh. Yeah, what? Oh, yep. But that's what you do when you see a goat in your favorite.

I feel you, bro. Do you hear that?

Sounds like breakfast is ready. because Quakers coming in hot with morning nutrition. 100% whole grain oats and a good source of fiber. to fuel the rhythm of your morning and kickstart your day. And that sounds absolutely delicious.

Fuel to start whatever's next. Quaker, official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 26. Let's go! Tomorrow morning is knocking. Stock your fridge now.

How about a creamy mocha frappuccino drink? Or a sweet vanilla? Smooth caramel maybe? Or a white chocolate mocha? Whichever you choose, delicious coffee awaits.

Find Starbucks frappuccino drinks wherever you buy your groceries.

So, what about you, my G? It's so funny. about your first answer because It matches my second answer. I think about Presentation I think about do I believe when they get on that mic? Do they demand your attention?

You know, Fellows where We are They're animals, they're just simply animals. But when a lady can walk into a room and grab your attention immediately from the jump, she grabbed that microphone, dude. Shut up, and they listened. And I remember her days as a face, but she is in her bag whenever she's in a heel. I think about the moments and the matches.

I look at the, you know, the the size of the frame. She definitely could handle herself. And then I think about the Four tea time. World Championships. I gotta go Charlotte Flair.

Okay. I gotta go Charlotte Flair.

It's gonna be controversial because everybody knows that my GOAT. My goat. It's still Mercedes Monet, aka Sasha Banks. I love her to death. But when I look at the full package that I need, can I sell this superstar from here to Japan, all over the world, and aya ya.

With Mercedes on? I mean, the world loves blondes, bro. If Mercedes went blonde, then maybe. Yeah, but she's actually traveled the world and wrestled. I'm not going to argue your point.

I'm just saying, like, Mercedes went to the water. I mean, bro, if Mercedes was water, I could sell her to a drowning man. But Charlotte, Charlotte, I just feel like... Them 14 world titles, and I believe every single one of them. There was one.

There was one that she got it and lost it real quick. And I was like, did they just do that to just bump them stats? But other than that, I feel comfortable in saying Charlotte Flair. And she had she's had to deal with injury and you know a lot of things that were kind of setbacks. But we all know, we all know when when she was her hottest.

She's untouchable, dude. All right, so next up. Personal dream match. Again, I spent like three hours trying to come up with this. It's almost an impossible thing because there are so many matches that you'd want to see.

I just narrowed it down to one. And if you ask me this question in two weeks, probably going to give you a different answer. But for today, I looked and I thought, what would my personal dream match be? It's going to be a fatal four-way between Bob Backlund. Kurt Angle.

Kenny Omega and the Great Muta. I don't know why, just today, that today, I thought about a fatal four-way with those four. Um, that's excitement to me, bro. I'm to watch this match over and over and over again. And you've got some of the best mat guys in the world and back in an angle.

Omega can do it all in the great mood of one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time to me. How about you? Absolutely. Uh, mine is simple because we've been teased for about five years. I won't rock and roll man.

I get it. Just because it's a personal, personal feeling towards that match, it was uh the guy that made me fall in love with wrestling versus the guy that brought me back into wrestling. And it's uh, yeah, bro, it's must-see. And as much as I love Dwayne. Gotta go with my tribal chief, bro.

You know what time it is. Check your watch. All right, let's move on. Greatest tag team of all time. Look, I...

My whole life, I thought it was the Road Warriors, right? For years and years and years. And that's the team I'm going to go through because I just had never seen a team that was built up like the Road Warriors. They came in to a match, they beat you down, and then they left. It was a great formula that worked for years.

They held belts in the old NWA, WCW, AWA, WWE, WWF.

So, yeah. For most of my life, it's always been the Road Wars. I'm going to stick with it, but I will give a caveat. If you're going to say the Hardy Boys, or anyone's going to say the Hardy Boys, I will not argue that with you because you look at the body of work and the length of time that Matt and Jeff have been doing it. And honestly, you know, it came down.

I almost said the Hardy Boys, and I probably should have just giving them props on what they've done and how long they've done it. But I'm going to go with the Road Wars. I mean, I get it. You know, it makes perfectly. You know, it makes sense.

Hardy boys, of course, being brothers. You can't get chemistry like that, but I'm going in a different route. with my brotherhood. The Dudleys, for me, man, I love the Dudleys. They've won everywhere.

You know, I think about that classic picture of them with all their titles, you know, everywhere except AEW. And AEW, you know, was still brand spanking new, still got the tags on it. But. The Dudley Boys. The Dudley Boys were always the ones that did it for me.

I love the Hardys. You know, I love the Hardys, but like. It's just something about Devon and Bubba Ray. You know, they won all around the world in aye, aye, aye. And we've had the Hardys on.

I think it's about time to make that call for the Dudleys. Might have to happen. Absolutely. So let's move on to the greatest faction of all time. And again, there's so many factions that you could choose from.

It came down to two for me.

Okay. And I know you're going to mention the one, so I'll just mention the other one. I think when you think factions, I'm just going to go back to the beginning. I'm going to go to the faction that really helped blur the lines. They were the first hills that I ever heard get cheered.

It was very weird, but they had the formula. They had, you know, the charismatic, you know, front man, just like a rock band. You have your supreme worker. You know, you have your enforcer. And then you have, you know, a tag team.

Within the mix. They were all interchangeable parts. And because they were the first, I'm going to say them, I'm going to say it's the four horsemen or the greatest faction of all time. And I'm talking. The originals, but I believe they got better when Barry Wyndham was in.

So I'm going to go with the version of Flair, Blanchard, Anderson, and Wyndham for Horseman. No one is going to argue that. I mean, come on now. Like, it's just iconic. But when I if I gotta pick a faction.

It is hard for me to go against Or anybody to go against the shield, yeah, especially when you think about the impact that they all have had in their solo runs. I mean, you got the tribal chief, you got the visionary, and then you got Mox over there with the Death Riders doing his thing. Such an icon in AEW, just that whole transformation that he's done, not only as a character, but with his body. You know, his body too. You know, he got a hold of his drinking and really got healthy and is just laser focused.

And he's in a league of his own right now. And so, just the three of them to think that they were all in a group is insanity. You know, it's insane. Uh Yeah, I got to go with the shield, bro. I'm not mad at that.

I think a few months ago, I said that the shield were the greatest faction of all time, but I kind of had an idea that that's where you wanted to go.

So I didn't want to. But look, man, more Roman propaganda. If you know this, I'm not arguing with you. I'm not getting your pushback because I understand where you're coming from. Let's talk about matches, right?

Now, of course, you and I have seen hundreds of thousands of wrestling matches combined, and it's hard to pick a favorite. And I have so many, but for this exercise, I decided to go with a match that I hope a lot of you seek out, and that is from Wrestle Kingdom 10, Shinsuke Nakamura against AJ Styles. They really weren't able to replicate it when they met at WrestleMania, but then at the end of AJ's run, I thought Shinsuke and AJ did a great job, and WWE did a great job of letting those two cook. Never going to get what I saw in Wrestle Kingdom. I can watch that match anytime.

And, like I said, as of today, there's so many I wanted to say. But in lieu of time, yeah, I'm going with that one. I'm gonna watch that on the plane today. Please do. Please do.

My favorite, because it was so. I'm a little kid, all right? A lot of things are the end of the world to a little kid. And I always talk about when wrestling broke my heart, a key moment was when I watched. The NWO Run over the rock in his ambulance as a kid.

Hulk Hogan goes up to the truck, whatever he saw in that truck. He said, Yo, we got to get out of here. As a kid, that was the end of the world to me, but it was The Rock versus Hogan won WrestleMania 18 in Toronto. You want to look at. When we all talk about storytelling.

That match right there is telling such an incredible story of passing the torch. And. You know, by the way, can I rep story that they We weren't even aware. They had to tell. They didn't know what was going to happen.

Exactly. And it was icon versus icon. And the thing is, like, Rock didn't necessarily have like the most titles. He wasn't like presented necessarily as the ultimate face. You know, still Austin's house.

So. You know, for that moment, it just spoke about the star power that the Rock was bringing outside of having a championship or what we think is success in the squared circle that Hogan is having this icon versus icon match with Rock. Hogan, you know, we go down memory lane and rock. At a like Let's Hogan gets he gets his stuff off, that at a certain point you can tell when. The cutoff happens, and like that is the moment of like, no, this is where we are now with the hell blazing, eyebrow raising.

You know, the rock, the Brahma bull. And so, yeah, as much pressure as I put on myself, and I didn't get in that match, not one time. I got to go Rock versus Hogan one. Uh, they he fought him again, and Rock won that one too. I just want people to know that all to the you know, the brothers out there, and that's a brother with an A.

Not with a hard ER. Because why would we do that? Don't do that around. But yeah, that match, again, one of the best, just when it comes to psychology of professional wrestling, seeing how two performers. Had to flip the entire psychology based upon what the fans wanted, and they did as great of a job as anyone.

Also, one thing about the Nakamura Styles, like at one point, Styles shot the imaginary gun and Nakamura caught the bullet and ate it. And I was like, This is just, this is hard. Yeah, you know, you know, I love Nakamura. Like I said, him and Styles for me. Let's talk about most underrated female wrestler of all time.

Again, this is just a CVS list of women that you could put in here. But I'm going to go with this woman because I don't feel she ever got the credit that she probably deserves. That is Gail Kim. Oh, you know? I feel, you know, Gail Kim, I believe she won the women's championship in WWE in her first or second match.

You know, then. You know, she had a short cup of coffee there. I'm not sure why. She didn't do more in WWE, then she went to TNA. And of course, you know, her and Awesome Kong, who was someone else who's very underrated, just put on bangers and bangers.

And, you know, for people who don't know, there was a point that TNA Knockouts Division were probably the best in all wrestling. They had some great women, some great matches, and Gail and Awesome Kong just helped elevate that a little bit more. But yeah, I feel Gail Kim Mann doesn't get the props she deserves. And so I'm going to give her this role here. I'm going to give her this.

Now, when I was first started watching wrestling, you know, I'm watching only WWE.

So, you know, there's so much female wrestling that I missed out because WWE was doing nothing but brawl and panty matches and that type of stuff.

So mine is a little bit more recency bias. But I just want to give a shout out to the matriarch of the maple, Chelsea Green. Chelsea Green right now is putting is being put in a comedic. Like spot. But please believe if you wanted to let her get down, she could get down, and I think.

You know, she's so good at the comedic stuff that I think she's going to be put into a position where, like, why fix something that's not broke? But I think people need to go back and look at some of that stuff, the Lucha Underground stuff, and like things like that. She works a penta people. Yeah, just take a look at her. Just take a look at her stuff.

And you know, it just popped into my head, like, Gail Kim. Like, I was friends with Stacey Keebler back in the day.

So, Stacey used to bring Gail out every now and then.

So, there were times where, like, we got to hang out and cake up with Gail Kim. She was always cool. And she actually made an appearance here on the campus of ATT. They used to have something called a. Uh, a broadcaster's like fair where everyone, a programmer's fair, excuse me.

And uh, I got a picture with Gail Kim right outside of our studio here once a few years ago, but yeah, just adding on to the Gail Kim being under. I promise you, we will have her on. Let's do it. All right, so we did underrated female on you because we put the ladies first. Let's do underrated male again.

There's so many male wrestlers, but I'm gonna give you a guy. I thought about this the other week because I saw him, and I just don't think. That people understand how good he was. Because if you weren't watching Ring of Honor, then you missed out on his run as both the world champion and the TV champion. Plus, when we talk about finishers, he's got one of the greatest finishers in the world to me, and that is Jay Lethal.

And the lethal injection where he, you know, hand springs into the ropes and then bounces back and gets a cutter on someone. Jay Lethal, again, someone who doesn't get the props I feel he deserves. You know? Many men I could have put in here, but for right now, for this exercise today, I'm going to say Jay Lethal, man, because I see him still doing this thing in AEW, and it kind of hurts me sometimes because he's, you know, doing the job or taking, you know, I saw Marina scooped him up and slammed him the other day. And I don't know, man, it's just like, man, Jay Lethal was so good, and he just didn't get a chance to go to, you know, WWE, which would have just made him an even bigger star.

But. Watch some old Ring of Honor, man. Look up some Jay Lethal matches. Like I said, the finishing move's incredible. His body of work is incredible, and he had a tremendous run with the ROH World and TV titles.

So shout out to Jay Lethal. Shout out to Jay Lethal.

Now, for my, anybody who knows me knows, oh, this is where Shay is going to say Baron Corbin. Here he goes with his Baron. Listen, if. If there's 100 Baron Corbin fans, I am one of them. If there is one Baron Corbin fan, I am him.

If there are no Baron Corbin fans, I am dead. He did. All right, so. But I gotta go Dolph Ziggler. I got to go Dolph Ziglund.

I know he had a world title, and I know, like, current world champion. Yeah, but like, you know, in WWE, especially, like, you know, how can he be underrated? Because he needs more. Should have had more. I've seen the man.

At TNA backstage, to see his mind for the business, him, just the way that he was moving, keeping his body together. When I think about him selling, who sells better? Like he is If I had to draw up a wrestler, You know, I would always talk about how Takesha is like where I would probably end up. But, like, a guy that could fit in any era. Dolph Ziggler.

Dolph Ziggler could fit in any era and get business done. And yeah, I feel like when he was at the top of the mountain at WWE. Man, he should have had more. Shoulda had more. But you know, WWE they need they need a meat mountain pause, yeah, yeah.

Still one of the greatest moments of all time when he cashed in money in the bank on Alberta. That pop was legendary and pop when he returned from the Cena little tournament.

So, yeah, shout out to Nick Nemes, yeah, Nick Nemes, current TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

So at least someone's still showing him some love. But I understand what you're saying because that was always the story about like people thought he should be the man, dude. And also, I still think that you and your brother. Should when y'all, you know, do the tag thing, I think y'all team should be called Nimethith. Yeah.

It's fun. Put it on a t-shirt. Nimethyth. All right. Now, you know, we got two more here.

Let's finish strong here.

Now, let's talk about the best finisher of all time. Oh, yeah. Go ahead.

Now, my goodness, man, every single person that wrestles got a finisher.

So, how do you like narrow down what's the best finisher? And there are so many. Is it a DDT? Is it a simple clothesline? Is it a figure four?

You know, is it a body slide? Remember back in the day, a suplex, a simple suplex would win you a match, but things have changed. But there's one move that... I mean, I know that a wrestler last week said he kicked out of, but I don't remember it happened. And I.

Can't really find any evidence that anyone has. Kenny Omega's one-winged angel is pretty much the most protected finish in the history of wrestling. And I. Personally, I've never seen anybody kicked out, and I know somebody probably has, and I'm not thinking of, but personally, I've never seen it. I remember watching Okada get hit with it, but.

Kenny couldn't go for the pin. He was so exhausted, he just rolled off of him.

So no pin took place.

So technically, he got hit with it, but didn't get pinned. But the one-wing angel, man, once he gets you up on his shoulders and does a little flip over, it's beautiful to watch. And like I said, it's highly protected. And I haven't seen anybody. Kick out of it and when Kenny Omega hits you with that GG's.

Yeah, I am. I'm going to just put it out there right now. I thought about going sweet chin music just because I think about when I think about a finisher, it needs to be devastating and it needs to be able to happen at any moment. At any moment, it can just, you know, whether with sweet chin music, if somebody's coming off the turnbuckle, if somebody's running at you, at any moment, Sean can hit you with that. And I always love how Sean.

falls into the pen with it. Like That was up there with me, but I can't. I can lie to you. I can't lie to me. That's what I say.

And my favorite finisher of all time is the RKO. Oh, out of nowhere, the RKO, man. You can do it in the pool, you can do it at the park. You can do it in a ring. You're like, the RKO is the ultimate neck breaker.

Like, it is the ultimate cutter. And I gotta go, RKO. Shout out to Randy Keith. You know, it's funny because I almost said the diamond cutter from DDP, which is the same almost as a cutter, just something you can hit out from anywhere out of anywhere.

So, yeah, I like that. Shout out to DDP as well. Uh, and now we decided that we're going to create a new faction. Yeah, now, look, man, again, thousands of wrestlers. We could have put in here.

I spent, I told you, I spent way too much time last night trying to think of this. But then I decided that. You know, you brought up the shield. Yeah. Right.

And then I decided. Yeah, I wanted to have a faction that was just like the shield, just physical, dominant, powerful. But then I decided to put a little twist on it. I decided to use old ladies. I decided to use all ladies.

So I came up with a faction because you need kind of like a leader and a mouthpiece. You need like love lady with a mouthpiece. You you need You need a powerhouse, right? And you need just a supreme technical wrestler, and you need like. A bully in there.

Right. Some just go just go bully people up.

So these are the women. There's one, two, there's five of them that I came up with for a new version of the shield. And they are. Tekla. Uh-huh.

Stat Daddy, Chris Statlander. Last legend. Oh man. Reign of Ocan As we formerly known as Nikki Blackheart. And then Kendall Gray, because now I've got everything covered right there, right?

I've got Tecla as kind of the mouthpiece. I've got Stat Daddy. Lash and Reyna, now they're all powerhouses.

So we're going to go in there. They don't hope. They wish. They wish. They're just going to go in there and just throw a bunch of women around.

Right. And then you got Kendall Gray who can go out there. People calling her the female Kurt Angle. Whenever they get a match, like she'll just go out there and out wrestle anybody.

So I feel with those five women who I've now dubbed the sovereign sirens. I want to see them dressed in all black like the homen. Yeah. You know, and just have them come because I don't think we've really had a female faction like that that I can think of off the top of my head.

So yeah, just imagine. Female, no. Reyna, Lash, Chris Statlander, big, powerful, sexy women. You know, Tecla, who's just, like I said, mean and tough. And then Kendall Gray, who can just get it done on the mat.

So yeah, that's the faction that I just threw together right there, man. I love to see those five. I like that. You were right. I did love your faction.

That was solid. Oh, the lady rap was so nice. Thank you. Thank you. I went, uh, you know, Barnes Fellas.

I saw Javon Evans with his post the other day talking about how I'm tired of losing. And, you know, I think about my man Montez Ford, who's, you know, they lost the tag titles.

So I got to thinking, TJ. I need full-on blathleticism.

Okay. All right, blathletes, if you will.

Okay. Montez IV as the leader. He would be going for the world title and things like that. Javon Evans.

Okay. My man Leon Slater.

Okay. And Kevin Knight. Ninjas with altitude. Hey in the NWA. Ninjas with altitude with altitude all high flyers Boy, it looks like the Universal Circus in here.

The universe so. Circus. Were you going to put her on just that? Why not? Why not?

Speaking into existence. Yeah, I need Solaruka in there that we are the universe.

Soul Circus, baby. Ninjas with altitude. Ninjas with altitude. Oh, high fuck. Everybody flipping.

Good God. All right. I'm not mad at that. Yup. This looks like jumping Jack Flash in here.

Gas, gas, gas.

Okay. All right. Yup. Boy, it was either Ninjas with Attitude or the Jumping Jehoshaphat. He goes, my God.

Yes, nothing but black athleticism all day. That team's so black, they might bring back UPN. I love it. I love both of our fantasy factions. I love the list.

But, and of course, man, when you guys see this on social media, hit us up, man. Tell us who you would insert in all of those categories. And let's get a little bit of conversation going, man. And like I said, this is very hard because there's a thousand answers for every one of these questions. And if we do this in two weeks, I'm going to probably give you, you know, nine different answers.

You know, back up. But I'd like the sovereign sirens, man, because those one put in some nasty ninjas with altitude, baby. We up there. You could tell them where to find us. You got a list to Leo.
